A woman had no idea what style engagement ring she wanted until she found a $12 piece at a Japanese antique store

20 February 2025 at 09:56

The custom engagement ring Adele Snowball wears is inspired by one she thrifted for $12.

Adele Snowball

  • Model Adele Snowball shared the story of her proposal and engagement rings with Business Insider.
  • Her fiancé popped the question in Japan with a piece of toy jewelry from a vending machine.
  • He then surprised her with a $12 thrifted ring, which inspired her current custom piece.

You can thrift just about anything these days — and that includes your engagement ring.

Just ask Adele Snowball, a 32-year-old model from Australia.

She's always loved vintage jewelry and had permission from her mother to repurpose family heirloom pieces into an engagement ring when the time came.

So, when Oliver Raggat, her boyfriend of three years, proposed with a toy ring during a trip to Japan, it was time to start designing the real thing.

They didn't need to do much work, though.

To the couple's surprise, Snowball found all the inspiration she needed in a $12 secondhand ring at a Japanese antique store.

Adele Snowball and Oliver Raggatt met on Hinge and immediately bonded over music.

Raggatt, 32, had just moved back to his home city of Adelaide from Melbourne when they matched on the dating app, Snowball told Business Insider.

"Our first date was at a hidden blues bar. We found we had a lot in common, like music and our love of vinyl records," she said. "We ran in the same circles and had been to the same concerts."

Though they'd never met until that date, he'd even once watched Snowball walk in a fashion show.

"Since then, we've been inseparable," she said.

Raggatt wanted to surprise Snowball with a proposal during an August 2024 trip to Japan.

Raggatt knew that he and Snowball would one day design an engagement ring using her family's pieces. But he also wanted to surprise her.

Two weeks before their trip, he had the idea to find a Gashapon ring — a piece of costume jewelry from a Japanese toy vending machine — and propose with that first.

Snowball said she "wouldn't leave Olly's side" on their third day in the country, which is when he wanted to sneak off in search of the most "kitschy capsule ring he could find."

Luckily, Snowball chose to take a shopping break at Zara, which gave Raggatt the perfect opportunity.

Within 30 minutes, he'd found a Gashapon machine filled with rings resembling spilled Matcha. He inserted a few dollars, and out came a sage-green ring in a capsule box shaped like a bottle.

He proposed at Gonpachi Nishi-Azabu, the restaurant featured in Snowball's favorite film, "Kill Bill."

Snowball told BI she didn't expect a proposal during the trip until she noticed Raggatt acting nervous at the restaurant.

That's likely because he didn't know he'd propose until they got there.

"I looked around and thought to myself, 'If I were proposing to me, I would propose here.' My brain was racing with thoughts of how, when, where, and is this happening?" she said.

After a quick bathroom break to calm her nerves and text her friends, Snowball suggested that she and Raggatt take a selfie. As she set up her phone, he got down on one knee.

"I held my head in my hands and cried for what felt like two minutes but was probably 12 seconds," she said. "Finally, I looked up and said yes as he tried to put the ring on my shaking hand."

They ended their night with a romantic rainstorm and karaoke.

The couple enjoyed karaoke and the company of strangers to celebrate their engagement.

Adele Snowball

It was pouring rain when the couple left the restaurant, Snowball said, so they took shelter in an empty karaoke bar and called their friends and family to share the news.

"We then sang our favorite songs together, including 'My Sweet Lord' by George Harrison, which is our song," she added.

They then welcomed the company of some Japanese salarymen, or office workers, who had missed their train home. They chose to celebrate with them and buy the newly engaged couple drinks.

The following day, the couple stumbled upon the perfect accessory for their engagement ring.

The couple left Tokyo the day after getting engaged. On the way out, Raggatt stopped in their hotel's bathroom and found a large, plastic diamond on the floor.

"He came out and gave me the diamond, which I then put on the ring," Snowball recalled. "It fit perfectly!"

She said their creation gave them the idea to design a real engagement ring inspired by the colorful statement piece Raggatt proposed with.

To their surprise, Snowball's dream ring found her.

The couple traveled to Osaka, where they found a "full to the brim antique store" called the BB American Village Free Market.

While Raggatt browsed film cameras, Snowball shopped for jewelry. Though she wasn't looking for another engagement ring, one caught her eye.

"I tried it on, it fit my ring finger, and I took of photo of it for inspiration," she said. "Later on, Olly asked again what I think I might like for my real engagement ring. I said I wouldn't mind something like the one I saw in the store."

Ironically, it featured a green stone and a clear crystal — mirroring the green band and plastic diamond on her first engagement ring.

Raggatt secretly bought the ring and proposed again. Snowball, of course, said yes.

Adele Snowball

He snuck back to the market the following day and purchased the vintage piece for about $12.

Raggatt quickly worked with a local shop owner to plan another meaningful proposal.

"He had placed the ring in a Mickey Mouse wallet at one of those shooting games where the prizes are all on a shelf," Snowball said. "He is very good at this type of game and shot it down first go. Then he got back down on one knee to reveal the ring from the antique store."

As they celebrated their second engagement, the shop owner serenaded them with a rendition of "What a Wonderful World" on electric guitar.

The thrifted piece inspired Snowball's third and final engagement ring.

Not only did the colors of the thrifted ring match the toy ring that Raggatt proposed with, but Snowball's birthstone is also emerald.

So, the couple decided to work with jeweler Kip Wilkins to create another version of the secondhand piece using materials from rings belonging to her grandmother and great-grandmother.

"It all just seemed so right. I never gave it another thought," Snowball said.

The custom ring, which was made for Snowball in a month, features a lab-gown diamond and a green tsavorite garnet stone. They sit atop a bezel setting in 18-carat yellow gold.

The couple's proposal is something out of a storybook.

Adele Snowball

When asked if she wears her original two rings, Snowball said she doesn't. Instead, she keeps them both in the matcha-themed capsule box and plans to incorporate them into their wedding day, which they're planning for 2026.

"Whenever I look at the custom ring, I don't just think about how much it sparkles or how cool it is," Snowball said. "I think of how Olly proposed, the typhoon, 'Kill Bill,' drunken salarymen, and that it was found in a tiny Japanese antique store and reborn from my grandparents' gold."

Tom Brady casually wore a $3 million watch during Super Bowl weekend, and you probably missed it

  • Tom Brady showed off a $3 million watch in a YouTube video he posted about the 2025 Super Bowl.
  • The diamond-covered timepiece is a Billionaire Mini Ashoka from Jacob & Co.
  • It was even flashier than the $740,000 watch Brady wore during the big game.

Tom Brady is sharing his love of watches with his children.

The football legend and father of three turned heads during his Super Bowl broadcasting debut thanks to a flashy timepiece covered in sapphires and diamonds.

That watch, however, wasn't the only one in his possession that day.

As Brady revealed in a YouTube video posted on Tuesday, he also had a luxurious piece valued at $3 million on hand ahead of the big game in New Orleans.

His 15-year-old son, Benjamin, tried it on.

In the video, Brady asks Benjamin to close his eyes and put his wrist out.

"It feels shiny," Benjamin says as his dad clasps the sparkling watch around his wrist.

Though Brady hasn't shared details about the timepiece, Jacob & Co. confirmed to Business Insider that the watch featured in his video was the brand's Billionaire Mini Ashoka, which retails for $3 million.

It's made with 18-carat white gold, antireflective sapphire crystal, and more than 490 diamonds in various shapes. Collectively, they weigh 100.57 carats.

Only 18 of the watches have been made.

The "mini" watch, which Brady wore during pregame broadcasts, is even more valuable than the statement piece he chose for the game.

Brady swapped it out for a Caviar Tourbillon watch from the same brand, which retails for $740,000.

It features 48.92 carats of sapphires and 1.32 carats of diamonds, mirroring the appearance of shining caviar.

The pieces appear to be two of the watches Brady has held on to after auctioning 21 pieces from his extensive collection in December for $4.6 million.

Considering how luxurious both pieces are, it's no surprise that Brady's son was nearly speechless when he tried on the expensive jewelry.

In fact, he only said, "Woah."

I tried Rare Beauty's new contour. It's even better than the brand's iconic blush for one reason.

14 February 2025 at 03:35

Rare Beauty

  • Rare Beauty has launched a contour line to complement its cult-favorite Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes.
  • I tried the product and instantly became a fan. It's subtle and blends like a dream.
  • It's also so easy to use that I'd say it's one of the brand's best makeup items.

The one beauty trend I've never fully adopted is contour.

Sure, I understand the appeal. Over the years, Kim Kardashian and multiple beauty influencers have convinced me to try the sculpting technique.

But I always felt like I was getting it wrong.

I could never place the product just right to suit my face shape, and even the lightest shades looked orange on my skin. I was also constantly worried that I left a spot unblended.

However, Rare Beauty has convinced me to give contour another shot.

The brand released its $28 Soft Pinch Liquid Contour in late January, and after trying it myself, I think it's easily one of its best products.

Turning a $70 million blush formula into contour

Rare Beauty is massively popular for multiple reasons.

First, the brand was founded by actor and musician Selena Gomez. Her countless fans — 421 million followers on Instagram alone, for example — have been customers from day one.

Mainly, though, Rare Beauty is known for making genuinely good makeup. I've tried its tinted moisturizer, lipsticks, and more and have thoroughly enjoyed almost every product — as have hundreds of other beauty fans.

Its Soft Pinch Liquid Blush is especially groundbreaking. Rare Beauty "moved 3.1 million units" of the product in 2022 and earned around $70 million in revenue on the blush alone, Bloomberg reported.

Rare Beauty is seemingly capitalizing on that success with its latest launch.

"Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, but make it contour," the brand's website says.

It's made with a similar formula, bottled in the same matte packaging, and is sold in seven shades.

The brand says it's as airy and blendable as its famed blush. It's also supposed to be long-lasting, easy to use, buildable, and dimensional without being cakey or muddy.

Rare Beauty

Rare Beauty's new contour is good. I can vouch for it.

As Rare Beauty recommends, I apply tiny dots of the liquid contour on the hollows of my cheeks and blend with a dense but fluffy brush. Sometimes, I also apply a bit across my forehead, jawline, and nose.

It smooths out like butter, instantly adding a subtle shadow to my face. I want my contour to be dimensional but light — almost like "no-makeup makeup."

In my experience, this product effortlessly achieves that. I can keep it simple or apply more to get a stronger contrast. I find it extremely buildable.

I'm most impressed by how easy this contour is to use. I feel like I can't mess up the technique or go overboard, which I've worried about with the brand's blush.

For that reason alone, I'd say this contour might actually be a better product.

Personally, I find the fairest shade, Gentle, to be ideal for my pale skin. There are no hues of orange to be found.

If you prefer a subtle contour like me, you might need to reapply the product after a few hours of wear. I've noticed that it starts to fade by the end of the workday.

Still, if any brand could convince me to get on the contour train, it's Rare Beauty. Now, I'll just wait for everyone else to join me.

Say goodbye to Stanley cups and Owala. People are obsessing over a new water bottle in 2025.

12 February 2025 at 03:29

  • Water bottles from Bink are trending in 2025, potentially replacing Stanley and Owala.
  • The brand's most popular option is made from glass, holds 27 ounces, and is covered with silicone.
  • Bink's popularity is being fueled by TikTok, and its products largely appeal to women.

It's the start of a new year and the latest water bottle craze.

You might remember when Stanley cups became popular in 2023, causing chaos in middle schools, Target stores, and online communities.

Then, Owala water bottles took over last year, attracting cool-girl customers everywhere.

Now, glass bottles with pastel-colored cases might just replace both.

Say hello to the Bink bottle.

What are Bink water bottles?

Bink is a family-owned drinkware company that focuses on making reliable, high-quality bottles, according to the brand's website. It was founded in 2017 — then selling baby-proofing products — and later transitioned to drinkware.

Bink products are designed in Seattle, and its founders — couple Ben Parfitt and Leslie Parfitt — are "directly involved in every step of the process," its website says.

It sells an assortment of tumblers, glass water bottles, and drinking accessories between $10 and $42 each, with its most popular product being the $38 Day Bottle.

The latter item is made from glass, holds 27 ounces, has hydration trackers down its side, and, most distinctly, is covered with a silicone case that comes in 17 colors.

Bink's Day Bottle is slightly more expensive than similar products from Stanley and Owala. For example, Stanley's 30-ounce stainless steel tumblers are available in more than 45 colors for $35 each, while Owala's 32-ounce FreeSip bottle costs $34.99 and comes in 20 colors.

However, Bink's bottles are more customizable. The brand sells individual caps, straws, and silicone sleeves on its website, meaning you can adjust the color scheme of your bottle to your liking.

Cute, convenient, and cool

Bink is seeing success this year in two places: TikTok and Target.

The brand launched bottles in new, exclusive colorways at the brick-and-mortar retailer and on Target's website in December 2024.

Around that time, TikTok videos about the bottles began popping up regularly — and they haven't stopped.

Fans on the social-media platform say they love the Day Bottle's convenient size, aesthetically pleasing design, and wide shape, which allows for ice.

According to some TikTok users, the bottles are especially popular with women and people in exercise communities.

"I don't make this up. Bink really is the status water bottle of the moment in the reformer Pilates sect," writer Erika Veurink wrote in the caption of a TikTok she posted about the brand.

@erikaveurink #greenscreen I don’t make this up #bink really is the status water bottle of the moment in the reformer Pilates sect. #coolgirl #pilates #fashionspy #waterbottle ♬ original sound - Erika Veurink

Of course, Bink bottles are meant to be reusable, as are most cups from trendy brands on the market.

So, some have called out fans of Bink and other companies who have posted about their newest water bottles online.

"The cool girls are drinking out of the same bottle they've had for like 10 years, not the latest one 🤷‍♀️," one TikToker said in response to a fan's Bink video.

But 2025 is already proving to be different in so many ways. Maybe this will be the year one water bottle finally sticks, and maybe it'll be from Bink.

8 fashion moments you need to see from the 2025 Super Bowl

  • There was a ton of fashion at Super Bowl LIX, from athlete outfits to celebrity ensembles.
  • Taylor Swift, for example, wore a necklace that nodded to Travis Kelce.
  • DeAndre Hopkins wore his late father's mink coat before the game.

There was a lot more to Super Bowl LIX than football.

Kendrick Lamar performed a statement-making halftime show, huge brands battled for attention during commercials, and Tubi made a bigger name for itself by streaming the event.

There was also a lot of standout fashion, from athletes to celebrity attendees.

If you were more focused on the game, here are some of the best style details you might have missed.

Tom Brady walked around with a $740,000 watch on his wrist.

Brady made his debut as a Super Bowl commentator on Sunday, and he did so in style.

To complement his gray suit and black tie, the former football player accessorized with a Caviar Tourbillon timepiece from Jacob & Co.

The watch featured 48.92 carats of yellow sapphires and 1.32 carats of white diamonds arranged in a cluster meant to resemble caviar. It also had an alligator leather strap.

Compared to other outfits Swift has worn to Chiefs games this season, her Super Bowl ensemble seemed overly simple.

However, it was actually expensive and sentimental.

She wore a $3,253 Saint Laurent blazer, a $1,300 Alaïa bodysuit, crystal-covered shorts, $1,120 Paris Texas boots, a $990 Givenchy purse, and ruby rings from Effy Jewelry that cost $12,495 and $5,195.

Swift also donned a ruby bracelet from the same brand, a $4,350 Logan Hollowell hand chain, a $32,200 Panthère watch from Cartier, and the same Lorraine Schwartz T-charm chain she first wore at the 2025 Grammy Awards.

The casual look seemingly called back to the first outfit Swift ever wore to a Chiefs game: a white Dôen tank top and a black pair of Ksubi shorts.

The flashy chain Kendrick Lamar wore during his performance might have had a few subtle meanings.

When the rapper got onstage, you couldn't miss his diamond necklaces. The oversize pieces were layered and embellished with a massive "a" initial charm.

The latter piece could have referenced Lamar's ongoing feud with Drake in two ways.

Some fans say it might have stood for Aubrey, Drake's legal first name. Others pointed out that Lamar's "a" charm was lowercase and potentially meant to reference his famous "tryna strike a chord and it's probably a minor" lyric from "Not Like Us."

It's also possible that the charm more simply represented Lamar's creative company, pgLang, which uses the same style "a" in its logos.

Rather than wearing red or gold, Patrick Mahomes arrived wearing the Eagles' shade of green.

His pregame ensemble included a checked blazer and matching trousers in a teal shade that looked a lot like "midnight green," one of the Eagles' colors.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback also wore a blue tie, a white button-up shirt, and Oakley glasses.

Travis Kelce wore a few accessories, including a unique pin.

On Instagram, Kelce's stylist, Danielle Vanessa Salzedo, said the metallic flower pinned to his lapel was a real rose dipped in gold.

Amiri designed the pin, his '70s-style suit, and his sunglasses.

His suit, on the other hand, was originally designed for women.

The ensemble debuted at Paris Fashion Week in January, featuring the same orange-tinted blazer, trousers, and sparkling undershirt Kelce wore.

The brand's designer, Mike Amiri, told GQ that Kelce was the perfect person to wear the outfit, regardless of who it was originally designed for.

"He's just such a great person to dress because he can wear clothes, clothes don't wear him. He can make anything kind of work," he told the publication.

DeAndre Hopkins donned a fur coat that honored his family.

As ESPN reported, the mink coat belonged to Hopkins' father, who died in 1992 around the time his son was born.

The wide receiver previously told the network that he'd wear it on his wedding day or at the Super Bowl, depending on which happened first.

"My dad was a leader of the family, leader of our community," Hopkins told ESPN. "So it means a lot just being able to have a little bit of him with me."

Taylor Swift kept her Super Bowl outfit surprisingly simple, but it still cost over $60,000

  • Taylor Swift attended Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans while wearing an understated outfit.
  • Her look included a Saint Laurent blazer, Alaïa bodysuit, and jewelry made with rubies and diamonds.
  • The ensemble, which cost over $60,000, echoed the first look Swift wore to a Chiefs game in 2023.

After a season of bold gameday outfits, Taylor Swift kept things simple on Sunday at the 2025 Super Bowl.

She traveled to New Orleans for the big game and attended with friends and family to support her boyfriend, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

If you were expecting the "Tortured Poets Department" musician to wear a flashy outfit, you could have missed her. Swift stood in the stands wearing an understated look, including a white bodysuit, denim jeans, and over-the-knee boots.

That said, there was more to her outfit than meets the eye.

Swift's subtle ensemble, which had sentimental symbolism, retails for over $60,000.

When Swift entered the Caesars Superdome — where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 — she was photographed wearing a $3,253 double-breasted white blazer from Saint Laurent.

The outerwear was draped over a $1,300 white bodysuit from Alaïa and crystal-covered shorts in a light-wash denim.

She also wore a pair of $1,120 white leather boots from the brand Paris Texas and carried a $990 red leather purse from Givenchy.

As has become custom for Swift, she also made sure she was dripping in jewels.

Most noticeably, the musician wore the T-charm leg chain she debuted at the 2025 Grammys, this time as a statement necklace. Swift and Lorraine Schwartz codesigned the ruby-adorned piece.

She donned two ruby rings from Effy Jewelry, originally retailing for $12,495 and $5,195. Swift also wore a ruby bracelet from the same brand, a $4,350 Logan Hollowell hand chain, and a $32,200 diamond-encrusted Panthère watch from Cartier.

It's also become customary for the songwriter to infuse symbolism into her outfits, from red-carpet looks to streetwear ensembles.

Super Bowl LIX was no different.

As the fashion writer Sarah Chapelle wrote on her Swift-focused blog, the simple Super Bowl outfit may have been a nod to the first outfit Swift ever wore to a Chiefs game.

In September 2023, she made her WAG (wives and girlfriends) debut in a white Dôen tank top and black denim shorts from Ksubi.

Her latest outfit was basically a more glamorous and high-fashion take on the same style.

Rumors have circulated that the 2025 Super Bowl may have been Kelce's final game in the NFL.

If that turns out to be true, Swift's expensive, sentimental outfit was the perfect choice to conclude the football chapter of their love story.

  • Taylor Swift attended 10 NFL games in the 2024-2025 season, including the Super Bowl.
  • Some of her gameday outfits were better than others.
  • Her best looks balanced team spirit and fashion.

As the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs at the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, all eyes were on Taylor Swift, naturally.

Well, the eyes of Swifties and fashion fans were anyway, as Swift attended the game to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

The singer attended 10 games during the 2024-2025 NFL season, including the Super Bowl. Sometimes, she attended in vintage Chiefs gear, while at others, she wore stylish coordinating sets.

Take a look at the best and worst outfits Swift wore to NFL games this season.

Swift arrived at the 2024-2025 NFL season opener to support the Chiefs in a denim set.

She paired the $1,325 Medusa '95 denim corset top with coordinating denim shorts from Grlfrnd, which were available on Revolve for $102. Her maroon boots from Giuseppe Zanotti, which cost $1,650, were a high-fashion way to incorporate team spirit for the Chiefs.

Her accessories, including a $3,950 Louis Vuitton Side Trunk bag and over $60,000 worth of jewelry, made the look even more glamorous.

That same month, Swift wore a sporty shirt dress for another of her best looks of the season.

The 1995 Salem T-shirt, featuring the Chiefs logo, became a dress on Swift, as it was so long it covered her thighs.

The tee showed off her thigh-high Giuseppe Zanotti Frannie boots, which cost $1,650, and Swift carried the $4,800 Louis Vuitton Coussin bag.

High-end jewelry, like Louis Vuitton's $625 My LV Chain earrings, added to the sporty ensemble.

Swift kept up her streak of best looks with a coordinating, plaid set at an October game.

Swift turned to Vivienne Westwood for an October game. She paired the brand's $1,875 Sunday corset with the matching $1,010 Meghan kilt, both of which featured plaid fabric with pops of maroon in honor of the Chiefs.

Vivienne Westwood also designed her $1,270 boots and $590 Belle heart-frame Jacquard bag. She added over $46,000 worth of jewelry and glitter faux freckles from Fazit.

The freckles gave the high-fashion look a whimsical twist that was perfect for the game.

Although she wore a cool jacket, Swift's shorts and simple top were a bit lackluster at a November game.

Swift made her vintage Chiefs jacket the star of her outfit for this game, wearing the red, yellow, and black piece with a black top and black shorts from Agolde, which she cinched with a $630 belt from The Row.

Swift's other accessories were also black, like her $2,195 Louboutin boots and $3,900 Dior saddle bag. Gold jewelry, including a $4,475 Chanel necklace, a $4,150 ring from Retrouvai, $595 earrings, and a $3,150 ring from Louis Vuitton, elevated the look.

The outfit was cute, but it was underwhelming compared to Swift's other looks for the 2024-2025 season.

The checked, red set she wore in November didn't strike the right tone for a football game.

Swift's $3,350 red-and-black checked blazer and $1,695 skirt from Versace were the stars of her outfit. She paired the professional pieces with a $34.99 Victoria's Secret corset and Versace's $1,650 Medusa 95 leather knee-high boots.

Swift carried the $2,190 Medusa 95 small tote bag from Versace. She also wore several pieces of high-end jewelry, including the $54,000 gold Tambour Watch from Louis Vuitton and a $32,970 ring from Retrouvai.

The outfit was stylish, but it made Swift look more like a team owner than a WAG. She also wore a better check-patterned look later in the season.

Swift's skinny jeans and chunky boots created an outdated look.

She attended a November game wearing a red Louis Vuitton quarter zip that looked cozy and festive for the occasion. Swift paired the top with $249 pants from Paige, which she tucked into her $1,650 Maison Alaïa boots.

The combination called back to popular fashion of the early 2010s, though it didn't translate as well in 2025. A simpler pair of shoes or wide-legged pants could have improved the outfit.

The singer made her most fashionable gameday appearance to date in December.

She strutted into Arrowhead Stadium that day wearing a statement coat from Charlotte Simone. The piece was crafted with faux fur in a vibrant shade of red and had extra fuzzy pieces lining its sleeves, hem, and neckline.

Swift also accessorized to perfection, adding a vintage Chanel bucket hair, sheer black tights, $1,695 Manolo Blahnik boots, and a Tod's messenger bag.

Swift perfectly blended old-money fashion and gameday comfort with a Chanel ensemble in January.

The designer look included a $4,650 wool jumpsuit beneath a $9,600 tweed coat. Swift also added a monogrammed belt with oversize pearls, sheer black tights, Canada Goose gloves, earrings, a purse, and Chanel boots.

She wore the all-black outfit in the middle of January. It was chic and sophisticated but also loose and comfortable enough to sit through a football game.

Her AFC Championship look was divisive, and for good reason.

Swift made a bold move when she attempted to bring back the logomania trend with a $5,000 monogrammed zip-up jacket from Louis Vuitton and a $550 beanie with the same logo.

However, her red tights really didn't work with the black and gold outfit, which cost over $68,000. The tights were too bold in color and too fun in style to complement the cool, streetwear-style garments that comprised the rest of her look.

Swift's outfit for the 2025 Super Bowl had some sweet hidden meanings, but overall, it was lackluster for the big game.

Rather than rocking red for the Chiefs, Swift arrived at the 2025 Super Bowl in a simple outfit worth over $60,000.

She paired the $3,253 YSL double-breasted blazer with the $1,300 sleeveless ribbed bodysuit from Alaïa, both in shades of white. Sparkly denim shorts offered a pop of color in the look, though she circled back to white with her $1,120 over-the-knee boots from the brand Paris Texas.

Swift also brought color into her look through her accessories, like her $999 Givenchy bag and ruby-encrusted jewelry.

She re-wore the "T" leg chain she debuted at the 2025 Grammys as a necklace, nodding to Kelce and her lyric, "I want to wear his initial on a chain round my neck," from her song "Call It What You Want."

Likewise, her tank top and jean shorts offered a cute reference to Swift's outfit for her first Chiefs game in September 2023.

Despite the nods to her relationship with Kelce, Swift's outfit didn't stand out compared to some of the other looks she wore throughout the 2024-2025 season, as it just looked like a white blazer and boots from a distance.

It would have been nice to see Swift have a little more fun with her outfit for such a big game.

Meet 'Republican hair': It's blonde, bouncy, and really doesn't have a political party

  • Polished, blonde blowouts have become associated with Republican women in recent years.
  • However, hairstylists say the style is trending beyond political circles in 2025.
  • Influenced by quiet luxury fashion, the hairstyle is seen as timeless, feminine, and professional.

Television figure Tomi Lahren, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, and Donald Trump's daughter, Tiffany Trump, all have one noticeable thing in common.

No, it's not the fact that they're prominent members of the Republican Party. It's their blonde, bouncy, blown-out hair.

The three conservative figures are among many in their orbit who regularly wear the classic hairstyle. In fact, the look has become so synonymous with these women that everyone from hairstylists to observers has taken to simply calling it "Republican hair."

Despite its partisan moniker, the hairstyle is not reserved for news pundits and Republican politicians — especially in 2025. As two hairstylists told Business Insider, you'll probably see it everywhere this year.

Tomi Lahren and Riley Gaines.

What exactly is Republican hair?

Renee Benedict, a hairstylist who works in Kansas City, Missouri, and Washington, DC, described "Republican hair" to BI as a classic blowout with long, rounded layers and weight at the bottom.

"When I think of this style, it's one that shows you have thick, healthy hair. That's really the goal, and you want to see shape," she said.

That flowing, lightly-curled form can be styled onto short haircuts but is most recognizable on longer tresses — especially when they're blonde.

That's why it was no surprise that Tiffany Trump, Lara Trump, and Carrie Underwood wore nearly the same hairstyle at Donald Trump's inauguration.

DC hairstylist Bethany O'Connell said the most Republican-esque shades are "high-maintenance" and "old-money driven." In other words, they're bright, bleached, and require salon visits to maintain.

Carrie Underwood performs at Donald Trump's presidential inauguration.

"The clean girl aesthetic was slicked back and harsh for so long," Benedict said. "Feminine softness is really starting to come back."

"Republican hair" is the ultimate contrast, and Benedict says it's even better at portraying how much you care about your appearance.

"It's polished, refined, professional," Benedict said of the Republican-adjacent hair. "You want to look like you have your stuff together and like you care. You want to look like you invest in your appearance. The biggest part of it is the effort."

DC residents want in on the trend

The Republican-style blowout matches the political party's core values in many ways: It's traditional, gendered, and subtly portrays wealth.

And more Republicans in office means that conservative styles are becoming more prominent and influential in the media than they have been over the last four years.

O'Connell told BI that while some people in DC specifically request "Republican hair" and bring photos of politicians as references, most seek celebrity-style blowouts and "Barbie blonde."

"Here in DC, it's a lot of Margot Robbie," O'Connell said.

margot robbie, wolf of wall street
Margot Robbie in "Wolf of Wall Street."

"Wolf of Wall Street"/Paramount

Still, to buy in, you have to spend. Coloring services are expensive — they can cost upward of $200 — and require regular maintenance appointments.

It's also worth noting that fashion trends have shifted to suit wealth and modesty in recent years.

Quiet luxury accessories and old-money outfits are just two examples of trends — both influenced by politics and the economy, whether fashion fans realize it or not — that were especially popular in 2023 and 2024.

Of course, the traditional, old-money look isn't reserved for Republicans. One of the most common sources of inspiration for the trend was former first lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis, who was married to a Democratic president.

However, it's clear that fashion and politics in the US are changing. "Hair has to change with it," Benedict said.

  • New York Fashion Week is officially underway.
  • Celebrities including Keke Palmer, Bill Nye, and Jenna Lyons have made fashionable appearances.
  • Billionaire heiress Ivy Getty also walked a runway in a stunning ensemble.

Celebrities are once again taking over New York Fashion Week.

The event kicked off on Thursday, and everyone from Keke Palmer to Bill Nye has already attended in eye-catching outfits.

Here's a look at what they've worn and a few other standout looks.

Bill Nye was cool and full of charisma at the Blue Jacket Fashion Show.

Getty — an heiress of her family's multibillion-dollar oil fortune — donned silk shorts with a nature print, a keyhole-patterned sweater, and a scarf with a similar design.

Her high-fashion set from the New York City brand also included tan socks, black flats, an oversize brown purse, a black top hat, and a teddy bear.

The dancer was also in attendance at Christian Siriano's show and wore her own shimmering ensemble: a black ball gown.

The dress was sleeveless, semi-sheer across the waist, and pleated across its wide skirt.

She wore the glamorous piece with black pumps, neutral makeup, and a bob haircut.

You couldn't miss Keke Palmer in her skin-baring outfit.

She attended the Brandon Maxwell show in a baby-pink halter dress with a satin top and ankle-length skirt.

The delicate piece made for a fun contrast to Palmer's orange-tinted hair, smoky makeup, and torso tattoo, which was visible through its backless bodice.

Jenna Lyons proved that simplicity is always fashionable.

She was photographed at the Todd Snyder runway show wearing a patent-leather trench coat in black over a knit sweater, white button-down shirt, and pinstripe slacks.

The outfit was chic and entirely New York in style — especially considering she paired the workwear with blue sneakers, gold jewelry, and metal-rimmed glasses.

What celebrity couples have worn for their first red-carpet appearances together

7 February 2025 at 09:53

  • Famous couples have a history of making stylish red-carpet appearances together.
  • John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, for example, walked their first carpet together in simple outfits.
  • Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld took the same approach to their recent red-carpet debut.

It's always a major moment when two stars make their first appearance as a couple on a red carpet.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen did so in 2008, Elon Musk and Grimes followed in 2018, and now Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld have had their red-carpet moment.

Here's a look at what those celebrity couples and others have worn for their relationship debuts.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith embodied '90s style at the "Devil in a Blue Dress" premiere.

Pinkett Smith looked stunning in a long blue skirt and a matching bralette with straps that crisscrossed over her stomach. She also wore silver sandals, a choker necklace, and tiny sunglasses.

Smith, on the other hand, wore a gray suit with white stripes, a white shirt, and patchwork shoes.

The couple revealed in 2023 that they've been separated since 2016 but remain close.

Prinze Jr. wore an all-black ensemble that included a leather blazer, standard T-shirt, trousers, and shiny dress shoes.

Gellar seemingly channeled her "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" character in a blue halter top, leather pants, and sandals.

Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford confirmed their relationship at the 2002 premiere of "K-19: The Widowmaker."

Lopez looked like a princess in a sleeveless blush gown with a layered, ruffled skirt. She also added a diamond necklace, drop earrings, and an updo hairstyle.

Affleck chose a standard suit with a lavender satin tie.

The couple broke up in 2004 but got back together in 2021. They then married in 2022 and filed for divorce in 2024.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé attended the MTV Video Music Awards together about three years after starting their relationship.

Jay-Z showed off numerous fashion trends from the early aughts, including sunglasses with colored lenses, an oversize suit, a yellow striped tie, and a tan fedora.

Beyoncé coordinated in a sparkling two-piece set. Her long-sleeved shirt had a V-shaped neckline and crystal embellishments on the sleeves and neckline, and her shorts were made from the same printed fabric. She also wore a curly hairstyle and strappy sandals.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen walked their first red carpet together at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

Legend opted for a black suit with a velvet vest and a high-neck shirt underneath. Teigen, on the other hand, wore a shimmering gown with one short sleeve and a strap on the other side.

In 2018, Teigen reflected on the look via Instagram, writing: "Grammys 2008. 10 years ago. This tan!!! Lmao."

Union opted for a red, long-sleeved dress with a daring cutout across her chest. She also wore silver hoops and rosy makeup.

Wade chose a mismatched suit with a cream jacket, white shirt, and gray pants, though he also included a red pocket square to match Union.

Their outfits were seemingly coordinated, with Gomez wearing a strapless red gown and Bieber wearing a red pocket square with his all-black ensemble. They also wore accessories that fell in line with their personal styles: Gomez wore red lipstick, and Bieber wore black sneakers.

The couple broke up in March 2018.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet together for the first time at the 2012 "Cruel Summer" premiere.

Kanye went for a casual look, wearing a cream blazer and white shirt over light-washed jeans and velvet loafers.

Kardashian took the opposite approach, sticking with her usual glam in a patterned minidress and black ankle-length boots.

Kardashian filed for divorce from the rapper in February 2021.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds evoked old Hollywood glamour for their 2014 Met Gala appearance.

Lively's gown — designed by Gucci — was made from silk chiffon and rose-gold sequins. It had a plunging neckline, mermaid-style skirt, and chiffon scarves that extended into a long train behind her. She completed the look with curled hair and red lipstick.

Reynolds also looked classic in a velvet tuxedo, white shirt, and bow tie.

Russell Wilson and Ciara put personal touches on their coordinated red-carpet looks at the 2015 BET Awards.

Wilson's suit jacket was encrusted with black sequins that matched Ciara's bedazzled gown from Wes Gordon. The football player also wore ripped jeans and dress shoes, while the musician chose gold sandals to match her daring dress.

The couple's outfits were completely different. Stefani wore a red, semi-sheer gown covered in fabric that looked like flower petals. It was designed by Yanina Couture.

Shelton chose a more casual look that included jeans, brown boots, a blazer, and a black button-down shirt.

Irwin chose a floral, long-sleeved minidress, see-through heels, and a braided hairstyle, while her now-husband opted for a navy blazer, white button-up shirt, jeans, and dress shoes.

Leslie wore a black-and-silver dress with a strapless top and a two-tiered skirt. She also paired it with a thin necklace and updo hairstyle.

Harington perfectly complemented his now-wife in a classic tuxedo and bow tie.

Jennifer Lopez and Alexander Rodriguez attended their first Met Gala together in chic ensembles.

Though Rodriguez looked dapper in a navy tuxedo and black bow tie from Tom Ford, Lopez stole the show in her Valentino gown at the 2017 event.

The baby-blue dress was sleeveless with a semi-sheer, high-neck overlay that extended into a long train. Lopez wore an updo hairstyle, a sparkling clutch, and Harry Winston jewels.

They ended their relationship and two-year engagement in 2021.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas also looked fashionable together at the 2017 Met Gala — despite not officially being a couple yet.

Chopra's trench-coat style dress — which had an off-the-shoulder sleeve, plunging neckline, and giant skirt — was custom-made for her by Ralph Lauren. Jonas also wore a unique Ralph Lauren ensemble that night: a patterned suit jacket over a white shirt and bow tie.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd opted for contrasting looks at the same event.

Gomez's Coach dress was pink, sleeveless, and covered in lace and floral details. She also wore gold sandals, carried a small purse, and donned vibrant pink eye shadow.

The Weeknd chose a more classic look, which included a black suit, bow tie, and flower-shaped brooch.

The former couple dated for about 10 months that year.

Taylor chose an ankle-length dress with sheer patterned sleeves, and Paulson wore a longer gown with a lace bodice and a sheer, polka-dot print cape.

They had previously attended the 2016 Critics' Choice Awards together, though the Time 100 Gala was the first place they walked the red carpet as a couple.

Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner wore edgy looks to the 2018 Met Gala.

Jenner's Alexander Wang gown stood out thanks to its strapless top, daring cutout, velvet skirt, and zipper detailing. Scott wore the same designer, matching Jenner in an all-black ensemble with a leather belt and shoulder strap.

The couple's on-and-off relationship officially ended at the start of 2023. They share two children together.

At the same event, Elon Musk and Grimes showed off their couple style for the first time.

Whereas Musk's outfit was pretty simple — he wore a white top and blazer with dress pants — Grimes' ensemble was much more detailed.

She wore a strapless dress with a white bodice, a black high-low skirt, semi-sheer gloves, and platform boots. The musician also wore a silver necklace that looked like the Tesla logo.

The former couple, who share three children, broke up in March 2022.

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith chose unique colors for their 2019 red-carpet debut.

Fox chose a $600 green miniskirt and matching $1,800 crop top — which had an asymmetrical neckline, single sleeve, and a sliver of fabric that cascaded down to her ankles. She paired the outfit, designed by Azzi & Osta, with long earrings, a black clutch, and sandals with chain-style straps.

Kelly chose an unconventional suit from Balmain. His white blazer had a rectangular neckline that extended to a front pocket reminiscent of those seen on sweatshirts. He also wore matching parachute-style pants and silver boots.

E! News reported that they split in 2024.

TikTok stars Noah Beck and Dixie D'Amelio made their red-carpet debut at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards in glamorous looks.

Oppenheim took a more colorful approach and wore a blue suit with brown leather shoes.

They later parted ways, and Stause is now married to singer G-Flip.

ASAP Rocky's look included a colorful, quilt-like blanket worn over a black suit. Rihanna's ensemble, on the other hand, featured a black mermaid coat with an oversize ruffle that extended across its bodice and around her neck. Balenciaga designed the garment.

She also appeared to wear a crystal headpiece under a black beanie.

Everything we know about the 2025 Met Gala, which will highlight menswear and be cohosted by stars including Lewis Hamilton and LeBron James

  • The 2025 Met Gala will be held in New York City on May 5.
  • This year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," explores dandyism and menswear.
  • Some of the co-chairs and committee members include Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and Tyla.

The 2025 Met Gala is just around the corner.

Celebrities, billionaires, and other stars will visit New York City on May 5 to attend the prestigious fundraiser hosted by Anna Wintour, Vogue, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

They'll walk the famed red carpet across the museum's steps, pose for photos, and show off stunning ensembles from some of the world's top designers.

This year's ball will honor menswear and Black dandyism with its theme, and the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams will co-chair the event.

Here's a closer look at those details and everything else we know about the coming Met Gala.

The 2025 Met Gala theme

As Vogue reported in October, both the Costume Institute's Spring exhibition and the 2025 Met Gala theme will be titled "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style."

Both will "take the Black dandy as its subject" and look closely at "the importance of clothing and style to the formation of Black identities in the Atlantic diaspora," Vogue said.

The overall theme was inspired by Monica Miller's 2009 book "Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity," while the exhibit will also draw inspiration from Zora Neale Hurston's 1934 essay, "The Characteristics of Negro Expression."

Dandyism refers to men of the 18th and 19th centuries who generally idealized feudal values, took great pride in their appearances, and strived to be gentlemen.

Black dandyism, however, is more specifically "a strategy and a tool to rethink identity, to reimagine the self in a different context. To really push a boundary — especially during the time of enslavement, to really push a boundary on who and what counts as human, even," Miller told Vogue.

It also "represents the plight toward becoming behemoths of fashion and culture at large," Tayler Adigun wrote for Ebony.

This is the first Costume Institute exhibit to focus on menswear since its "Men in Skirts" display between November and February of 2003.

Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and everyone else who's involved

This year, Hamilton, Williams, Colman Domingo, and A$AP Rocky will serve as co-chairs alongside Wintour, while LeBron James will be an honorary chair. This will be the first Met Gala appearance from the basketball legend.

An assortment of big names will also make up a host committee, as the museum has gathered for previous balls. While Vogue hasn't shared many details regarding this group's duties, they're confirmed to attend a special dinner before the gala.

The latest committee includes Grammy Award-nominated and winning musicians Doechii, Janelle Monáe, Tyla, Usher, André 3000, and Audra McDonald.

Actors Ayo Edebiri, Spike Lee, Jeremy Pope, and Regina King are also included, as are playwrights Jeremy O. Harris and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.

Film producer Tonya Lewis Lee is on the list alongside fashion designers Dapper Dan, Olivier Rousteing, and Grace Wales Bonner.

Writers Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Edward Enninful and artists Rashid Johnson, Jordan Casteel, and Kara Walker also have spots.

Finally, athletes Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens, Angel Reese, and Sha'Carri Richardson will be involved.

Expect to see a ton of menswear fashion trends

Vogue reported on Tuesday that the 2025 Met Gala dress code is titled "Tailored for You." Though not strict — the publication said it "invites creative interpretation" — the dress code will serve as a guide for attendees to stay on theme.

Because the theme largely focuses on menswear and dandyism, Vogue said we can expect to see a variety of suits, men's accessories like pocket squares, and maybe even canes.

The event's co-chairs have been listed as examples of people who regularly express the theme in their red-carpet looks.

Where to watch the 2025 Met Gala red carpet

Vogue has yet to share details of where fashion fans can watch the 2025 Met Gala red carpet.

That said, the publication usually streams the event on its website and social-media channels. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.

The best and worst outfits Beyoncé has worn at the Grammy Awards

3 February 2025 at 14:48

  • Beyoncé took home her first album of the year award at the 2025 Grammys.
  • She's been a staple of the event since the early 2000s and has worn numerous showstopping looks.
  • On a few occasions, however, the superstar has missed the mark with her Grammys fashion.

No one does the Grammy Awards quite like Beyoncé.

She's won the most awards in the event's history, took home her first album of the year trophy in 2025, and has made iconic fashion statements since her first appearances with Destiny's Child.

That said, the musician has also missed the mark with her Grammys fashion on a few occasions.

Here's a look at some of the best and worst looks Beyoncé has worn at the ceremony over the years.

Beyoncé nodded to her country era with a glamorous gown this year, and it worked.

She wore a custom piece from Schiaparelli that was tan, covered in sequins, and sleeveless with a scooped neckline.

It was glamorous and called back to old Hollywood with its matching gloves. Still, the outfit also honored Beyoncé and her latest body of work, "Cowboy Carter."

The dress was beaded with small white Bs and a larger paisley print, which gave the gown a subtle Western vibe.

Her attempt at a neutral-colored gown in 2010 didn't translate as well.

She walked the red carpet that year wearing a Stéphane Rolland gown crafted from a satin fabric.

The neutral-colored dress had short puffed sleeves, a plunging neckline with a zipper detail, and textured shapes from top to bottom.

The same design would have looked cool on a top or skirt individually. However, the pattern was overwhelming on a dress and too strong for such a delicate shade and fabric.

Beyoncé also wore gold hair tinsel and statement earrings that clashed with the gown's color.

The textured minidress she changed into in 2010 was one of her best looks at the Grammys.

Beyoncé changed into a metallic number from Armani Privé during the awards ceremony. The short dress had statement short sleeves, a deep-V neckline, and loose chains that intentionally hung from the garment.

The outfit was eye-catching, glamorous, and perfectly accessorized.

She wore it with gold platform sandals, statement hoop earrings, and an assortment of bracelets and rings.

One of her worst, however, came in 2007.

Giorgio Armani designed her dress, which was strapless and made from silk.

Its silver color looked stunning on Beyoncé, but the dress didn't seem to fit her right. Its neckline flap was uneven, and its wrapped skirt was just a touch too long, making it appear to have excess fabric.

The dress was also embellished with large crystal pieces at the waist and neckline, so Beyoncé didn't need the oversize jewelry to elevate the outfit.

Beyoncé wore three different outfits throughout the 2023 Grammys, and her final look — a black velvet Schiaparelli gown — was one of her best.

The strapless dress featured an angular, square-shaped neckline, hugging her figure and cinching at the waist.

She paired the dress with matching gloves for an elegant and fashionable look.

The black-and-white jumpsuit she wore in 2013 was underwhelming compared to her other Grammys looks.

Beyoncé arrived at the awards show in an Osman jumpsuit with short sleeves and a high neckline. Most of the look was black, though one sleeve and half the bodice were white.

The ensemble wasn't as exciting or high-fashion as some of her other outfits, and it appeared more professional than red-carpet ready.

At her first solo Grammy Awards in 2004, Beyoncé rocked an all-gold dress that made her stand out on the carpet.

The gown, designed by Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, hugged her figure and featured ruching on the bodice and waist, forming a pleat down the center of the skirt.

Bejeweled netting created a halter neckline, and gems ran down the center of the bodice.

Gold earrings and shoes completed the gilded look, which was perfect for an evening on which she won five Grammys.

One change could have made a huge difference to Beyoncé's 2021 outfit.

She accepted a Grammy onstage that year in a Schiaparelli minidress. The leather garment had off-the-shoulder sleeves, a V-shaped neckline, and ruched fabric that made the piece edgier.

While the sheer tights she wore pulled the look together, her black gloves did the opposite. The leather pieces with gold nails distracted from her outfit and made it look more like a costume.

By removing the gloves, fans could have appreciated her statement earrings and stunning hairstyle better.

Fashion details you might have missed at the 2025 Grammy Awards

  • Celebrities attended the 2025 Grammy Awards in stunning fashion on Sunday night.
  • Many of their outfits featured subtle but interesting details you might have missed.
  • Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, for example, both hid meaningful initials in their looks.

The Grammy Awards were, in a single word, eventful.

Beyoncé finally took home the album of the year award, Chappell Roan called out the music industry onstage, and Kanye West walked the red carpet alongside his partner, Bianca Censori, who was nearly nude.

Of course, there were also many examples of stunning style moments throughout the event and countless subtle details you might have missed.

Here's a look at some of those hidden fashion moments, from charitable donations to jewelry that made a statement.

The gown Beyoncé wore subtly nodded to her name and cowgirl era.

The "Cowboy Carter" star didn't walk the red carpet this year, so you might not have gotten a good look at the details of her custom Schiaparelli gown and matching gloves.

The sleeveless piece had a deeply scooped neckline, a waist cutout with a hanging gem, a floor-length skirt, and all-over brown sparkles.

It was also decorated with beaded Bs and a white paisley print, which gave the gown a Western feel.

Sabrina Carpenter didn't just accessorize. She wore famed diamonds with a deep history.

From the front, Carpenter appeared to wear a simple, feathered gown designed by JW Anderson. When she turned around, however, you could see its daring backless design and the dazzling diamonds she wore to highlight it.

Those jewels, in particular, are more significant than you might realize.

They come from Chopard's Garden of Kalahari collection, which features pieces crafted from a 342-carat stone mined in Botswana and named "The Queen of Kalahari."

Carpenter wore them in the form of a torso-length necklace with small pear-shaped stones — which collectively weigh 19 carats — leading to a 50-carat round statement piece.

She also wore matching earrings and a 10.10-carat ring from Chopard, according to People.

Charli XCX made it rain underwear for a good cause.

To perform her hit "Guess," Charli XCX hit the Grammys stage in denim undergarments, a belt, and a jacket from Dior.

She also recreated the song's music video and had underwear rain from the ceiling to create "Brat"-style confetti that fell around the musician, dancers, and her famous friends.

Though the stunt might have seemed silly to some, it was actually meaningful.

"All unworn undergarments will be donated to survivors of domestic violence through I Support the Girls," the Grammy Awards noted via a brief text box displayed on its broadcast.

The cherry-red color of Swift's Vivienne Westwood minidress matched the signature color of Travis Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

She may have been manifesting the team's third straight Super Bowl win, which they'll play for on Sunday.

The "Tortured Poets Department" musician also completed her custom dress with a T initial charm that hung from a gold, ruby-embellished chain attached to her miniskirt.

The letter T could've been a nod to Kelce's first name, while the style overall appeared to reference a line from her song "Guilty as Sin?" in which Swift sings, "What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh only in my mind?"

Swift co-designed the leg jewelry with Lorraine Schwartz and her stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, People reported.

The nonprofit's CEO, Harvey Mason Jr., told USA Today that the natural disaster "changed the mood" of the 2025 Grammys.

"It changed what we've done (with the show), raising funds and awareness for the fire relief," he told the publication.

She first arrived at the Grammy Awards wearing a black Saint Laurent halter dress crafted from leather. It had a wide waist cutout, a floor-length skirt, and a subtle slit at the bottom.

The "Flowers" musician later changed into a custom Alaïa gown that was similar in style but drastically different in fabric. The sleeveless black gown had a plunging neckline, a silver belt, and a pleated skirt with an opening that showed her skin.

Finally, Cyrus changed into another Saint Laurent look designed by Anthony Vaccarello. The long-sleeved look was black, striped, and sheer.

Julia Fox wore a simple outfit with a daring detail you could only see when she turned around.

The actor arrived on the red carpet in a cropped leather jacket with puffy sleeves, a see-through nylon top, and a matching miniskirt.

It was only when she turned around that you could see her revealing thong, which showed most of her backside.

Fox wore the daring outfit with a pair of yellow gloves that resembled kitchen cleaning gear.

Every outfit Taylor Swift has worn on the Grammy Awards red carpet, ranked

3 February 2025 at 07:27

  • Taylor Swift has been a staple star at the Grammy Awards since first attending in 2008.
  • Many of her best looks on the event's red carpet have been covered in sparkles.
  • Some of her earliest Grammys outfits, however, weren't as strong.

Taylor Swift is a Grammy Awards icon.

She's attended the event on and off since 2008 and has 14 trophies to her name. She even became the first artist to win album of the year four times in her career.

Her Grammys fashion is also notable, including everything from floral minidresses to sparkle-covered gowns over the years.

Here's a look at everything she's worn at the annual event, ranked from worst to best.

The sparkling blue gown Taylor Swift wore to the 2010 Grammys wasn't her best.

The Kaufmanfranco gown had lots of potential, with its off-the-shoulder neckline, all-over blue sparkles, and stunning backless bodice.

But excess fabric across its front made the dress look ill-fitting on Swift, ultimately distracting from the gown's other elements.

Swift completed the look with chunky bracelets, statement earrings, and an updo hairstyle.

She wore a black gown in 2009 that was pretty but plain.

Also designed by Kaufmanfranco, the sleeveless dress had a plunging V-neckline, crisscross straps beneath the chest, and a low-back bodice.

The outfit was a daring choice for Swift at the time, and her accessories gave some extra glamour to the look. She wore a pair of dangling earrings and metallic cuffs on one wrist.

But ultimately, the gown's solid dark color and shapeless silhouette made for a dress that wasn't the most memorable.

She wore a strapless corset gown in a lilac shade with leaf-shaped embroidery across its neckline and a tulle skirt.

It was designed by music executive Scott Borchetta's wife, Sandi Spika Borchetta.

Swift looked stunning in the piece, and it was a great, youthful choice for that era of her career. Still, the dress would have worked better at a prom than on a red carpet.

Swift's striking Elie Saab gown was tough to miss on the red carpet. Its blue design featured a sleeveless, double-strap top and a miniskirt wrapped with longer, pleated fabric.

The dress perfectly embodied her "1989" era, especially when paired with vibrant purple heels.

But while the outfit worked great in 2015, its high-low design and nearly neon colors look a bit outdated now.

Her 2024 outfit was more of a musical Easter egg than a fashion statement.

Taylor Swift announced her 11th studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department," at the 2024 Grammys.

For the occasion, she wore a white Schiaparelli gown that nodded to both the project's overall aesthetic and an outfit featured in the "Fortnight" music video, which hadn't been released at the time.

It was strapless with a ruched bodice, dramatic skirt, long train, and thigh-high slit. She accessorized it with simple sandals, long black gloves, and layered necklaces that included a watch choker.

Swift looked stunning as always, and her outfit was undoubtedly fun — her accessories especially.

But her intentionally messy hairstyle clashed with her gown's elegance, and its loose-fitting fabric looked more excessive than dramatic.

She went with a youthful style in 2016 and nailed the look.

Whereas Swift's 2015 dress was representative of its time, her 2016 outfit was fun and fashionable.

She wore a strapless orange top and high-waisted pink skirt, both designed by Versace. The latter piece was especially daring, with a slit that extended to its waistline.

Not only was the two-piece outfit unexpected for Swift, but it was also styled to perfection with diamond jewelry, strappy gold sandals, glam makeup, and a sharp bob hairstyle.

It's no surprise that the look remains iconic among Swifties today.

She strutted down the red carpet in a white gown designed by J. Mendel. It had a revealing top held together with sparkling straps and a floor-length pleated skirt cut by a thigh-high slit.

The dress itself was timeless, and her silver heels matched perfectly.

Her hairstyle — an updo with a thin braid atop her head — also resembled the styles she would wear years later while promoting her pandemic albums "Folklore" and "Evermore."

Swifties loved the floral dress the superstar wore in 2021, and for good reason.

Oscar de la Renta designed her minidress — the first she'd ever worn on the Grammys red carpet — with a high neckline and long sleeves. It was also covered from top to bottom in fabric flowers.

Swift's choice of shoe — pink sandals with oversize ankle straps — wasn't the strongest, but her dress was so fun and feminine that you'd hardly notice her footwear.

Wearing Zuhair Murad, Swift was a vision in gold. Her short-sleeved gown had a high neckline, a heart-shaped cutout across the chest, and a floor-length skirt with a short train.

It was also covered in intricate sequin patterns, which shined in the lights of flashing cameras and added texture to the stunning piece.

Her flawless ensemble included a form-fitting metallic gown from Gucci and Jimmy Choo sandals beneath its long skirt.

The dress sparkled in the light thanks to its netted overlay, and her wavy ponytail perfectly complemented her glowing makeup.

She matched the red carpet in a ruby-colored minidress designed by Vivienne Westwood. The corseted piece had an asymmetrical neckline, a wrapped miniskirt, and all-over sparkles.

Swift wore it with her signature red lipstick, a $1,050 pair of 4.7-inch Casadei heels, and an assortment of ruby jewels from Lorraine Schwartz.

The accessories included statement earrings, two large rings, and a leg chain with a T initial charm and teardrop-shaped rubies.

The latter piece — which was co-designed by Swift, according to People — seemingly references a line from her song "Guilty as Sin?" in which Swift sings: "What if he's written 'mine' on my upper thigh only in my mind?"

In this case, the T likely represents her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Who could forget Swift's bejeweled outfit in 2023?

Designed by Roberto Cavalli, Swift's midnight-blue outfit consisted of a silk long-sleeved crop top and a high-waisted, mermaid-style skirt.

Both handmade pieces were embellished with silver Swarovski crystals to look like "an explosion of stars all over," according to a post on the designer's Instagram page.

The outfit made for one of her strongest fashion moments of 2023.

  • The 2025 Sundance Film Festival is underway, and celebrities have arrived in style.
  • Many are opting for trendy, casual, and cozy outfits at the Utah event.
  • Others have missed the mark with mismatched looks and daring details.

The 2025 Sundance Film Festival is full of movies and fashion.

For years, celebrities have attended the Utah event in outfits that are simultaneously trendy, casual, and cozy.

However, on occasion, some stars take things to the next level in daring garments and glamorous gowns.

Here's a look at the best ensembles we've seen at this year's event — which kicked off on Thursday and ends on February 2 — and a few outfits that fell short.

Jennifer Lopez nailed theme dressing with a sheer gown covered in crystal spider webs.

Lopez wore the Valdrin Sahiti piece for the premiere of her new film, "Kiss of the Spider Woman."

Its black lace design had long sleeves, a mock neckline, and a slit in the back of its long skirt. She wore it with platform heels, a Tyler Ellis bag, and an updo hairstyle.

The outfit was glamorous, fun, and one of the most memorable at the event.

Parker attended numerous events at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday, and she did so in dramatic fashion.

The "Sex and the City" star wore a blue button-up blouse beneath a ruffled gray dress, a chunky tan cardigan, and purple velvet boots. She also wore a black puffer coat when walking outside.

Unfortunately, the outfit looked more messy than fashionable, and its outer pieces distracted from her fun dress and shoes.

Benedict Cumberbatch kept things cool and casual with a three-piece outfit.

He was photographed at "The Thing About Feathers" premiere in a $2,200 corduroy top from Prada. He wore it with a black turtleneck, matching trousers, and shining dress shoes.

The outfit was cool and cozy enough for a winter premiere in Utah while also being fashionable with a subtle designer touch.

There were too many bold elements involved in Questlove's denim look.

The musician wore green cargo pants, a denim poncho from Greg Lauren, and $950 Marni clogs made with furry, long-haired calfskin.

His shoes and top were unique and would have made great statement pieces if worn separately.

When styled together, however, they made for an overwhelming combination.

Alison Brie looked sharp in a suit and lace corset.

Her Alex Perry set included a black blazer with sharp shoulder pads and skinny ankle-length trousers. She wore them with a sheer, structured top from Giuseppe Di Morabito, which retails for $910.

Her suit was perfectly tailored, and its professional look made for an interesting contrast to her daring corset top. Brie looked sharp, chic, and feminine.

The denim pieces that Rachel Sennott wore didn't work together.

For a Deadline event, Sennott paired a sheer $670 Coperni top with light-wash jeans. In theory, the outfit should have been seamless.

However, her long-sleeved blouse had denim cuffs, a collar, and pockets that were darker in color than her pants.

The two garments looked mismatched, and her brown heels blended in too much with the carpet to add more depth to the look.

She wore a white Vivienne Westwood set that included a button-up cardigan with a built-in necktie, a skirt with the same matching gray print, and a black undershirt.

Its thick knit fabric was the perfect choice for a winter fashion moment, and its flowery print added a feminine flair.

She wore the outfit with black leather boots.

The main piece of the musician's eye-catching look was her $260 Farm Rio top. It had long, puffy sleeves, a high neckline, exaggerated shoulders, and an all-over multicolored print.

The blouse would have looked stunning with jeans and her $275 suede, fringed boots from Sam Edelman.

Instead, she wore both with a $298 skirt from Marie Oliver that was too stiff in silhouette and too bold in its blue color.

Ayo Edebiri proved that green is her color.

She walked the carpet for the "Opus" premiere in a two-piece ensemble from The Row. It included a sleeveless knit dress beneath a poncho-style coat that wrapped around the actor's body.

The outfit was simple and understated but still made a statement thanks to its shapeless design. Its olive color also perfectly suited Edebiri and her berry-colored makeup.

Taylor Swift cheered on the Chiefs in a $68,000 outfit and brought back a controversial trend

  • Taylor Swift wore a luxury outfit that cost more than $68,000 to the 2025 AFC Championship game.
  • The look featured a monogram jacket from Louis Vuitton, a Cartier watch, and diamond jewelry.
  • Swift's style may signal a shift from quiet luxury back to logo mania in fashion.

There was nothing quiet about Taylor Swift's latest luxury look.

The superstar attended the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday — where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 — in a full Louis Vuitton look that would retail for over $68,000.

She wore an oversize zip-up jacket, a black miniskirt, and a knit beanie that looked fun and casual — or, at least, as casual as a designer outfit can look.

Each piece of her outfit was more expensive than the last.

The base of Swift's outfit included $35 cherry tights from Sheertex, a $3,050 black cotton-blend miniskirt from Louis Vuitton, and the designer's $5,000 monogram jacket, crafted from 56% silk and made in Italy.

There was also a $550 cashmere hat, a $2,850 calf-leather wallet purse, and three-inch-heel boots. Swift's all-black pair is sold out, but the same pair in a different colorway retails for $1,800.

Swift's accessories were also pricey. She completed her outfit with $495 statement gloves, a $32,200 Panthère de Cartier watch, and two pieces of Louis Vuitton jewelry: a $3,950 yellow-gold ring with 28 diamonds and a matching bracelet that costs $18,500.

Finally, there was the coin pendant and gold chain that Swift wore on her neck, designed by Steven Battelle. These items vary in price and must be custom-ordered.

Swift also brought back a controversial designer trend with her outfit: logo mania.

In the 2010s, designer monograms seemingly covered everything from clothes to furniture. However, after 2020, quiet luxury took over.

The trend saw loud, flashy pieces pushed aside for classic, subtle designs. Brands like The Row and Bottega Veneta were favored over designers like Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

That could all change now, thanks to Swift.

Just like she's impacted economies and small businesses, the "Tortured Poets Department" musician might help revive loud luxury with outfits like her latest.

Nontraditional wedding rings are becoming more popular, and there's one style you might see everywhere in 2025

  • Statement wedding bands are rising in popularity, especially with younger generations.
  • People are adding wavy gold pieces to their wedding ring stacks.
  • One jeweler told Business Insider that these bands are often made to suit custom engagement rings.

Allysa Larson, 31, always dreamed that her engagement ring would feature a large, emerald-cut diamond.

What the influencer didn't realize is that pairing other bands with the statement shape can be a little difficult.

"The edges are sharp, so it's very hard to find something that really complements it," she told Business Insider. "I feel like I've always been on the search."

Larson wears the ring with her sparkling wedding band, a gold piece embedded with princess-cut diamonds. She loved how they looked together but wanted to add more jewels.

Now, she's one of countless people forgoing tradition and embracing statement jewelry on their ring fingers — from contoured metal to stacks of multiple diamond bands.

Wavy wedding bands are taking over

Anna P. Jay, a gemologist and private jeweler based in Massachusetts, told BI that custom, statement-making wedding bands, including wave-shaped bands, are rising in popularity.

Whereas our parents and grandparents typically bought premade engagement rings at stores (and could buy traditional bands to wear with them), younger generations are more interested in one-of-a-kind pieces.

"We're seeing an increase of elongated-shape diamonds in these lower settings, which is why you'll also see these curved wedding bands in order to accommodate that," Jay said. "We have the freedom, flexibility, and ability to do that now, which we didn't have years ago."

Some people wear these shaped pieces as their actual wedding bands, while others prefer to stack them with the jewelry they receive on their engagement and wedding days.

One of the most eye-catching designs is the $2,400 Lucy Wave band from the San Diego-based company Marrow Fine.

Jillian Sassone, the brand's founder and creative director, told BI that it was inspired by a custom piece she made for a client, which featured cascading diamonds in different sizes.

The Lucy Wave ring has five round diamonds set from small to large on a dramatically curved band. Sassone said it's become one of the brand's top-selling rings over the past five years.

Larson is one of those customers.

While visiting a Marrow Fine booth at a work event last year, the influencer tried the ring on for fun. She didn't think she'd actually like it.

As it turned out, however, the Lucy band fit perfectly on her ring finger as a second wedding band.

"The spacing of it with my engagement ring truly took my breath away, and I'm not being dramatic when I say that," she told BI.

The wedding rings worn by Allysa Larson.

Allysa Larson

Waved bands are also extremely popular on craftsman sites like Etsy and from affordable jewelry brands like Oomiay.

Similarly, other statement pieces like enamel bands are finding an audience.

"Enamel bands have been huge for us the past three years and just continue to grow," Sassone said. "Our most popular ring by a pretty good stretch is called the Til Death ring, and it's a play on Victorian mourning jewelry."

The piece is sold in various sizes and three enamel colors: black, white, and burgundy. They range in price between $900 and $1,450 each.

Timeless, tacky, or somewhere in between — you decide

Not everyone is on board with unconventional rings. As statement pieces have gone viral on TikTok, some have questioned how the now-trendy styles will look years in the future.

"What happened to classic plain wedding bands?" one person wrote on a viral TikTok post that showed a bride trying on bold styles.

"Totally takes away from the engagement ring," another said about the wedding bands she tried.

But as Sassone, Larson, and Jay all agreed, choosing a wedding band is all about personal preference.

"A lot of our clients are chic," Sassone said. "They're kind of the 'it' girls. They know cool new music. They're on top of these things. And so the client that's drawn to us might not be someone who just wants something simple. And that's fine!"

After all, what says chic and cool more than standing out?

How Lauren Sánchez's style has evolved, from carrying Birkins to daring White House outfits

  • Lauren Sánchez is a former news anchor, the fiancée of Jeff Bezos, and a rising fashion star.
  • Her style has notably evolved over the years from casual minidresses to see-through gowns.
  • She's also become a fan of vibrant colors, including deep reds and neon yellows.

News anchor, helicopter pilot, actor, and mother can all be used to describe Lauren Sánchez. You could also call her a rising fashion star.

The 55-year-old New Mexico native has been wearing bold looks on red carpets since the start of her career. But in recent years — especially while making her relationship with Jeff Bezos public — her style has leveled up.

Here's a look at her fashion evolution, from simple outfits accessorized with Hermès bags to see-through pieces at White House events.

Lauren Sánchez kept her outfits simple at the start of her career.

She regularly wore trendy two-piece outfits in the early 2000s and an assortment of minidresses — like the brown knit piece she sported at the 2002 Environmental Media Awards.

Sánchez also had a signature pair of shoes at that point in her career: a pair of PVC sandals with light-brown soles and thin, see-through heels.

But she wasn't afraid to experiment with daring styles.

At the 2004 Shalom Foundation Gala, Sánchez donned a deep-gray gown that hugged her body at the bodice and reached the floor with its long skirt.

It was also practically strapless, with only a single spaghetti-thin strap across one shoulder. The piece connected to more strings across its open back, which held the dress up and created a daring detail.

Sánchez completed the outfit with crystal earrings and a silver statement watch.

Her accessories were always chic, even in the early 2000s.

While attending a High Flying fundraiser in 2008, Sánchez opted for trendy styles at the time: a high-neck, short-sleeve blouse tucked into a black-and-white circle skirt, knee-high boots over semi-sheer tights, and a leather belt.

But her purse was timeless. She carried a solid black Hermès Birkin bag with what appeared to be palladium hardware.

She started to look like a Hollywood star around 2010.

She attended Vanity Fair's Oscars after-party that year in a shimmering gown that was fit for an award winner.

The dress was sleeveless, form-fitting, and covered from top to bottom in silver sparkles. It also had a tan lining that gave the dress a nude illusion and a deep V-neckline.

She began introducing vibrant colors to her wardrobe around the same time.

At the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, Sánchez sported a strapless, understated gown. It had a fitted bodice, a straight skirt, and solid fabric.

But its bright-red shade stood out on the carpet and made for a memorable look. The color has become one of Sánchez's go-to shades in recent years.

She completed the look with platform sandals and diamond jewelry.

For her first red-carpet appearance with Jeff Bezos, Sánchez showed up in style.

She wore a black-and-red dress that was as daring as it was glamorous. It featured long sleeves made from dotted mesh, a plunging neckline that reached her navel, and a thigh-high slit that showed her platform sandals.

The piece also had a geometric print crafted from sequins that shimmered in the light.

And even when they began coordinating their outfits, Sánchez's daring aesthetic still shined.

The couple attended the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in matching black outfits. While Bezos sported a classic suit, Sánchez stood out in a bold Elie Saab gown.

The dress had a corseted bodice with off-the-shoulder sleeves, black sparkles arranged in stripes, and a see-through skirt that revealed her legs.

In recent years, color has remained a staple of Sánchez's outfits.

At the 2023 Kering Caring for Women dinner, for example, Sánchez sported a neon-yellow gown from Dolce & Gabbana.

The halter dress hugged her body, reached the floor, and didn't need any accessories. It sparkled entirely on its own.

So have see-through dresses — even while visiting the White House.

Sánchez and Bezos attended a 2024 state dinner hosted by Joe Biden in honor of then-Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Though the couple's presence was notable on its own, Sánchez's outfit caught even more attention.

She wore an off-the-shoulder gown crafted from red satin and lace. Its corseted bodice was semi-sheer with a low neckline, and its skirt was tightly wrapped around her legs.

Sánchez wore it with gold-leaf sandals and diamond earrings.

She stunned in an Oscar de la Renta gown. It featured a strapless black bodice with a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt decorated with reflective pieces shaped like roses.

It was even rumored that Anna Wintour had a hand in the outfit choice.

She then took on the style of a businesswoman to promote her children's book.

At the Forbes Power Women's Summit in September 2024, Sánchez talked about the start of her career, writing her first children's book, and being engaged to Bezos.

For the occasion, she sported an all-white outfit with long trousers, a blazer that revealed her lace bralette, and platform heels.

Recycling outfits has become a regular practice for the former journalist.

After wearing her McQueen suit to the Forbes panel in September and a New York Times book event in December, she donned it again at Donald Trump's inauguration.

This time around, however, she paired it with another daring piece: a Schiaparelli coat made from brushed wool, mohair, and gold-brass buttons designed to look like nipples.

The Italian piece retails for 8,700 euros, or about $9,073.

  • Lauren Sánchez wore a white Alexander McQueen suit and lace bra to Trump's inauguration.
  • She previously wore the ensemble to a book event in December and at a Forbes event in September.
  • This time, she paired it with a Schiaparelli coat that retails for over $9,000.

Lauren Sánchez seems to have a favorite outfit.

For at least the third time since September, the journalist has worn a white Alexander McQueen suit with a lace bra peeking out of its blazer for a public event.

The latest outing was Donald Trump's inauguration, which she attended on Monday alongside her fiancé, Jeff Bezos.

She wore the designer outfit beneath a brushed wool and mohair coat from the Italian fashion house Schiaparelli.

The statement design costs 8,700 euros, or about $9,073, and features gold-brass buttons designed to look like nipples.

Some loved Sánchez's feminine look, while others criticized the set — specifically its visible bra, which was cut low and had small cutouts. They described it as risqué on platforms like X.

Sánchez, however, isn't one to shy away from being bold at political events. She previously wore a red, satin, and lace gown with a sheer corseted bodice at a 2024 state dinner hosted by Joe Biden in honor of Japan's prime minister at the time, Fumio Kishida.

Stylist Kelly Johnson put together the most recent ensemble, which Sánchez has worn on numerous occasions. Johnson and representatives for Sánchez did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.

The children's book author previously wore the outfit (minus the coat) to The New York Times DealBook event in New York City on December 5 and once earlier at the Forbes Power Women's Summit in September 2024.

At the latter event, Sánchez spoke onstage about being Bezos' fiancée, how she sees the role as a responsibility, and their work together on Bezos Earth Fund, a $10 billion effort to fight the climate crisis.

"I'm in this room with all these influential and powerful women," she said at the time. "I'm looking around and going, 'Whoa,' and it doesn't escape me that most of you know me as Lauren Sánchez, comma, Jeff Bezos' fiancée."

"I get it, but I can choose to do something, or I can choose to do nothing," Sánchez said. "And I'm choosing to do something."

Historically, women who wear white at presidential inaugurations have been recognized as making political statements.

When Hillary Clinton wore the color at Trump's first inauguration in 2017, for example, many saw her outfit as a symbol of women's suffrage.

It's unclear if Sánchez's outfit had a hidden meaning or if she just really likes her McQueen suit.

  • Zendaya is a certified style icon both on the red carpet and off.
  • Her fashion is often daring, feminine, and fashion-forward.
  • The Emmy-winning actor gravitates toward sheer dresses and historical fashion pieces.

No one does fashion quite like Zendaya.

The 28-year-old actor has been making showstopping appearances on red carpets since the start of her career, and her style only seems to get better with time.

Just look at the orange Louis Vuitton gown she wore to the 2025 Golden Globes and the flashy engagement ring she debuted with it.

She also knows a thing or two about daring ensembles. Here's a look at the boldest looks she's ever worn, from see-through dresses to silver armor.

Zendaya's standout dress was designed by Fausto Puglisi. It had a sleeveless black bodice and a red miniskirt with embroidered suns. The latter piece was especially unique, as it extended into a train behind her.

To complete the look, she wore a gold sun headband and matching bracelet.

In December of that year, she wore a pair of very wide-legged pants to Rihanna's Diamond Ball.

Zendaya's long-sleeved gown had a plunging neckline that extended to her metal belt. The slit in her skirt, on the other hand, helped her show off black sandals that had 14 buckle straps each.

The actor's blonde cropped hairstyle also helped her stand out on the red carpet.

The latter part of the outfit was form-fitting up to her knees, where it was covered in a thick, fur-like material.
