The Indianapolis Colts deleted a controversial social media video Wednesday night after the NFL schedule release.
The video, which was intended to creatively reveal the team's 2025 schedule, included a clip that depicted Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill as a dolphin being confronted by the Coast Guard.
Hill was arrested in September by Miami-Dade police officers before a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars for speeding, reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt.
Police bodycam footage of Hill's arrest went viral shortly after it occurred and heightened the scope of the controversy. The footage showed Hill being originally pulled over for speeding while approaching Hard Rock Stadium.
Hill was told by an officer to roll down his window, and he handed the officer his driver's license and repeatedly told the officer not to knock on his window. The footage also shows the officer asking Hill to keep his window down. The incident escalated when Hill didn't comply. The wide receiver was handcuffed and placed face down on a street by officers.
Hill was released after about 25 minutes, when his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, arrived. Then, in April, Hill was involved in a domestic dispute with wife Keeta Hill at his condo in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Fox News Digital obtained the police report of the incident after the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department responded to an "assault in progress" at Hill's house.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Hill's representatives for comment.
Quinn Ewers entered the 2024 college football season with many pundits projecting him as a first-rounder in the 2025 NFL Draft. But the former Texas quarterback fell to the seventh and final round last month.
Ewers also became the last player at his position to come off the board. This year's draft class featured 14 quarterbacks. Ewers' agent spoke out after the quarterback's draft slide, and the 23-year-old is now breaking his silence.
Ewers admitted having to wait until the seventh round to hear his name called took him by surprise, but he is also embracing the opportunity he has with the Miami Dolphins.
"I didn’t expect to fall as low as I did," Ewers told The Associated Press Friday. "It is what it is at the end of the day, and I have the same opportunity that everybody else does. And I’m beyond thankful for that. I just want to go in there and play my game and learn and develop as a quarterback."
Ewers enters a quarterback room in Miami that already features Tua Tagovailoa and Zach Wilson, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 draft.
Ewers finished his two-year stint as the starter at Texas with a 21-5 record. He helped lift the Longhorns to College Football Playoff appearances the past two seasons. Ewers threw three touchdowns in a CFP quarterfinal double overtime thriller against Arizona State.
Ewers' college football career started at Ohio State, but he transferred to Texas. He ended his career in Austin with 68 touchdowns to his credit.
Tagovailoa appeared in just 11 games during the 2024 season. Injuries and the long-term health of the Pro Bowl quarterback remain a topic of conversation.
Wilson landed with the Denver Broncos last season after a turbulent three-year run with the New York Jets. Ewers acknowledged the competitive nature that exists among the Dolphins' quarterbacks.
"There’s a lot of guys out there right now, and everyone’s fighting for the same job," Ewers said. "And we’re all competitive, but it’s cool at the same time, just because, at the end of the day, some of these guys are going to end up being teammates with us. But you’ve got to earn the job and earn the trust of those guys as well."
Quinn Ewers took a chance on going to the NFL instead of transferring from the Texas Longhorns to further his college football career.
Ewers saw himself slide from a mid-draft projection to the final round last week. The Miami Dolphins selected Ewers in the seventh round. He will likely have to vie with Zach Wilson for the backup quarterback job.
The former Texas star and his agent Ron Slavin opened up to ESPN for a story about his draft slide. Slavin revealed their mindset as the hours and minutes ticked away during the draft. He said he thought Ewers could have had a good chance to land with the Las Vegas Raiders or Seattle Seahawks on Day 2. But the so-called "nightmare" scenario occurred when The Raiders passed on the quarterback for two FCS guys, a division lower than the top in college football.
Slavin said he had spoken with two teams before the seventh round started – the Dolphins and the Dallas Cowboys. That’s when Miami finally took him. Slavin told ESPN he had reached out of about "half the league" to see why his client fell from a fourth-round projected all the way to round seven.
"They thought he was a third- or fourth-round pick, but too big of a name to be a clipboard holder," he said. "Which I think is chickens---"
"It's definitely a lot of motivation that comes with it, especially just being the last (quarterback) drafted," Ewers said. "I still have the high expectations for myself, but just from the outside looking in, this is the first time in my life to not have that much expectation. There's definitely motivation and fuel. A lot of it."
Ewers was one of the top quarterbacks in high school when he initially committed to Ohio State. He transferred to Texas before the 2022 season and spent the rest of his career there.
He had 3,472 passing yards and 31 touchdown passes in 2024. The Longhorns made it to the College Football Playoff, only to be eliminated by Ohio State in the semifinals.
Nine years after Mitchell Van Vooren announced a Miami Dolphins pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, he hopes to hear his own name called at some point before the final selection in this year's draft is made on Saturday.
Van Vooren announced UCLA tight end Thomas Duarte as the Dolphins' seventh-round pick in 2016. Now almost a decade later, Van Vooren is in the 2025 NFL Draft as a tight end himself.
Van Vooren did not play football throughout his college career, however, as he started off as a track star.
Before Van Vooren transferred to St. Norbert to play football, he received four varsity letters from Marquette in track. He qualified for the NCAA Division I West Regional in the 400-meter hurdles and broke the school record with a time of 51.38 seconds.
He placed 18th in the NCAA West Quarterfinals with a time of 51.75 seconds.
After track at Marquette, Van Vooren played football for two seasons at St. Norbert. Over 22 games, he caught 65 passes for 1,045 yards with 13 touchdowns.
Despite having played just those 22 collegiate games, Van Vooren’s success on the field earned him workouts with the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns, per NFL Network.
"Whether I get drafted or sign as a free agent, the goal is just to get a foot in the door," Van Vooren said via Marquette Today.
To add to what would already be an incredible story, Van Vooren grew up in Marinette, Wisconsin, about an hour away from where the NFL Draft is being held at Lambeau Field, and where his name could be called.
Former NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick took aim at Miami Dolphins quarterback Zach Wilson over the decision to wear No. 0 during the 2025 season.
Wilson’s number was listed on the official Dolphins roster page. He signed with Miami after a few years as an on-and-off starter with the New York Jets and a backup with the Denver Broncos.
But Fitzpatrick was particularly perturbed over the No. 0 decision.
"Hey Zach there’s always time to change your mind… I know you’re friends with Braxton Berrios and I know it worked for Orlando Woolridge but if you’re trying to build back your career and be taken serious (which I’m sure you are) this won’t help…" the Amazon Prime Video NFL analyst wrote on X.
Fitzpatrick later explained why he didn’t believe Wilson would be taken seriously in his attempt to become an NFL starter again if he wore No. 0.
"It might be silly but perception matters in this business and a QB trying to resurrect his career wearing #0 doesn’t scream serious QB," he added.
The Jets selected Wilson with the No. 2 pick over the 2021 NFL Draft. He was 12-21 as a starter with 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns and 25 interceptions.
He was set to be backup during the 2023 season but ended up starting 11 games in place of an injured Aaron Rodgers. He signed with the Broncos in 2024 once Rodgers came back.
He didn’t get to play as Bo Nix won the starting job and became one of the top rookies in the 2024 season. Now, he will get to serve as a backup to Tua Tagovailoa.
Keeta Vaccaro, the wife of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, has alleged in an emergency court filing on April 17 that her husband disappeared for two nights after a dispute and took their infant daughter without the mother’s consent.
Fox News Digital obtained documents from Miami-Dade County Court, which indicate Vaccaro filed an emergency motion for temporary exclusive use of the couple’s martial resident as well as supervised time-sharing for Hill.
Vaccaro filed for divorce from Hill one day after their April 7 domestic dispute at their Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, home. Fox News Digital obtained the police report on that incident, which stated an "assault in progress" at Hill’s residence, where he, Vaccaro and her mother, Alesia Vaccaro, were all present.
The case was considered closed, but this court filing continues the interpersonal relationship problems between the two.
"The Husband’s objective is to demonstrate to the Wife that he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and that she has no control, which is consistent with his behavior during the marriage," the emergency filing reads. "It is clear that the Husband will continue to act unilaterally and without regard for the Wife and child’s personal space and well-being if he is not constrained by a court order."
The emergency filing mentions Vaccaro filing for divorce on April 8, one day after the domestic dispute.
Vaccaro alleges Hill has also never cared for their daughter, Capri, since she was born.
"The Husband has never taken care of the baby, never bathed her, never changed a diaper, never dressed her and never put her to bed. He has never been alone with the baby. When the Wife expressed her concerns to him, he told her that he and his mother would ‘figure it out,’" the emergency filing read.
"The Husband has no sincere desire to spend time with the baby, to assume parental responsibilities for the baby or to be personally involved with the baby. The Husband’s track record for involvement as a parent is well-established as he has many, many children. His objective is coercion and control of the Wife."
The exact number is not confirmed, as several women have alleged Hill is the father to their children, but Hill has one child with Vaccaro while also having three kids with ex-fiancée Crystal Espinal.
The emergency filing also alleges that, after the April 7 altercation, Hill listed the Sunny Isles Beach condo for sale, "took the Wife’s car, and told her to get out."
"Then he started threatening to take the child," the filing adds. "The Husband also is trying to separate the Wife from her mother and sister, who are her support system. The Husband’s behavior when taken as a whole is evidence of an effort to coerce the Wife into abandoning her marital rights and leaving with nothing."
The filing also alleges Hill has a "next luxury apartment for himself."
The police report from the April 7 incident had Hill telling officers he had gotten back from offseason training when the argument broke out between him and his wife. He admitted to grabbing their baby while walking in and out on the balcony at the condo.
"I have the same rights as a father as her as a mother, and I can take my baby whenever I want," Tyreek said, according to the report.
Dolphins are generally regarded as some of the smartest creatures on the planet. Research has shown they can cooperate, teach each other new skills, and even recognize themselves in a mirror. For decades, scientists have attempted to make sense of the complex collection of whistles and clicks dolphins use to communicate. Researchers might make a little headway on that front soon with the help of Google's open AI model and some Pixel phones.
Google has been finding ways to work generative AI into everything else it does, so why not its collaboration with the Wild Dolphin Project (WDP)? This group has been studying dolphins since 1985 using a non-invasive approach to track a specific community of Atlantic spotted dolphins. The WDP creates video and audio recordings of dolphins, along with correlating notes on their behaviors.
One of the WDP's main goals is to analyze the way dolphins vocalize and how that can affect their social interactions. With decades of underwater recordings, researchers have managed to connect some basic activities to specific sounds. For example, Atlantic spotted dolphins have signature whistles that appear to be used like names, allowing two specific individuals to find each other. They also consistently produce "squawk" sound patterns during fights.
The cause of death for former NFL Pro Bowl cornerback Vontae Davis was reportedly undetermined more than a year after he died at a Florida home. He was 35.
Davis’ body was found at a home registered to his grandmother in Southwest Ranches, Florida, WSVN-TV reported. No foul play was suspected, police said at the time.
"Due to the totality of the circumstances, including inconsistencies between the scene and the findings at autopsy, the cause and manner of death in this case is best classified as undetermined," according to ESPN, which cited the Broward County Medical Examiner’s report.
The report noted that Davis had abrasions near his right eye and a hemorrhage in the muscles of his back. A toxicology report also indicated the former defensive back had substances in his system, including amphetamines or methamphetamines.
The Miami Dolphins selected Davis in the first round of the 2009 draft. He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts before the start of the 2012 season, and he had a few great seasons with them.
He joined the Buffalo Bills after the 2017 season and only made one appearance for them, retiring in the middle of a game.
In 121 games, Davis had 22 interceptions and 395 tackles. He was named to the Pro Bowl while with the Colts in 2014 and 2015.
Former NFL star tight end Vernon Davis, Vontae’s brother, released a heartbreaking statement at the time of his death.
"This thing definitely caught me by surprise. I just don't know what to make of it," Vernon told the Daily Mail at the time. "I'm leaning on the detectives to figure it out, but, right now, we have no answers.
"They are going to run tests, and they said they'll get back to us. It could be as long as a month, a month and a half, until we know anything."

Keeta Hill also spoke with police, saying she and her husband had been arguing more often recently. She alleged he "becomes angry and throws objects." Couples therapy between the two is "not working out" either.
The argument Vaccaro called police about involved Keeta telling the star receiver he wasn't involved enough with his child. Keeta said Tyreek, "without malice," grabbed their daughter and began walking around the condo with her.

Tyreek is no stranger to off-the-field incidents, which includes one with Miami-Dade Police before the team's season opener at Hard Rock Stadium in September, when he was detained for hours before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was seen in videos on social media in handcuffs with several officers surrounding him. His teammates, Jonnu Smith and Calais Campbell, both tried to intervene, but were unsuccessful in defusing the situation.
Tyreek was later released, and his traffic violations were dismissed after the charging officers failed to appear in court.
Former New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is ready to embrace the backup position in Miami, but he’s not ready to embrace the title of "journeyman" just yet.
The former second overall pick out of BYU returned to the AFC East in the offseason on a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins — the same division that saw Wilson’s career as a starting quarterback in the NFL come to an end almost as quickly as it began.
Wilson, 25, was traded off after three turbulent seasons in New York, and didn’t see any action during the 2024 season with the Denver Broncos as the third-string quarterback. He moved up the depth chart in Miami, but for Wilson, he’s hoping there’s still an opportunity to return as a starter.
"I mean I would like to view it differently," Wilson told reporters Monday when asked if he embraces the "journeyman label."
"Obviously, there’s nothing wrong with being a journeyman, but I still believe I can be a starter in this league whenever that opportunity comes. And so I’m just trying to put myself in the best situation with the best team and coaches and do the absolute best that I can and, hopefully at some point, you can get that opportunity to show what you could do."
Wilson was benched in his second season with the Jets, a move that would clear the way for four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers. But a season-ending injury for Rodgers would give Wilson one more chance.
Despite not turning it around, Wilson said his time with the Broncos allowed him time to develop and improve, and he’s hoping his time in Miami will do the same.
"What’s not to like, right? Extremely explosive offense, and I think they do a great job, and it starts from Coach [Mike] McDaniel and goes all the way down. I’d just say the offensive staff as a whole has done a great job. You’ve seen how Tua [Tagovailoa’s] development has gone, too, since he’s been there, and I think I’m just excited to be with those guys."
Wilson has a 12-21 record as a starter with 6,293 yards passing, 498 yards rushing, a 57% completion rate and 23 touchdowns. He also threw 25 interceptions.
Shortly after a SpaceX capsule carrying four astronauts splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday, a pod of dolphins swarmed the spaceship.
Two of the astronauts on board the spaceship — Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore — were returning from an unexpected nine-month stint on the space station, which earned them an international reputation as "stranded" or "stuck" on the International Space Station.
The duo launched aboard Boeing's new spaceship in June but could not return to Earth as planned after the vehicle had some engine malfunctions. What was meant to be a roughly weeklong mission for them turned into nine months as they waited for their opportunity to come home with a SpaceX crew.
When they climbed aboard the SpaceX Crew Dragon spaceship on Tuesday, cruised through Earth orbit all day, and then plummeted back to Earth, they didn't know an oceanic welcoming committee would meet them.
It started with a couple of dorsal fins peeking out.

As their spaceship bobbed in the ocean like a toasted marshmallow, smooth, gray dorsal fins began to peek above the water around it.
Then a dolphin was visible swimming just below the surface here and there.

"Here on your screen, we can see dolphins, actually, who want to come and play with Dragon," Kate Tice, a webcast host and senior quality systems engineering manager at SpaceX, said in the livestream.
When the camera zoomed out, a large group of dolphins were visible swimming around near the capsule.

The dolphins danced around the capsule for several minutes as a SpaceX recovery crew checked the area for hazardous fumes and prepared the spaceship to get hauled onto a barge. There appeared to be at least six of them.

"That was really fun to see," Sarah Walker, the director of SpaceX Dragon mission management, said in a press call after the splashdown.
SpaceX has previously had to contend with boats of human fans getting too close to its spaceship after the capsule's first crewed flight in 2020.
The company and NASA wanted to avoid a repeat of that kerfuffle with this high-profile mission. The webcast hosts reiterated the importance of the Coast Guard-enforced safety zone around the landing area.
"We do want to stress to the public the need to respect this safety zone," Sandra Jones, NASA's webcast host, said in the livestream. "Recovering a spacecraft from the water is a hazardous task."
The dolphins paid no mind to the safety zone, though. Luckily, they didn't seem to interfere with SpaceX procedures.
It's unclear if Williams, Wilmore, and their two crewmates — Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov — got to see the dolphins in person. The dolphins were no longer visible on the livestream by the time crews started pulling them out of the spaceship.
Jimmy Johnson, an NFL coaching legend and a main figure on "Fox NFL Sunday," announced on Monday he will retire from broadcasting.
Johnson joined FOX Sports in 1994. He joined the network after his time coaching the Miami Dolphins came to an end. He would regularly appear with Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long and later Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski to offer pregame, halftime and postgame analysis of NFL games.
The 81-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion head coach revealed on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd" that the 2024 season would be his last.
"I’ve made an extremely difficult decision, I’ve been thinking about it for the last four or five years, and I’ve decided to retire from FOX," he said. "I’m gonna miss it. I’m gonna miss all the guys. It’s been a great run starting back 31 years ago."
FOX Sports CEO Eric Shanks called Johnson’s retirement news "bittersweet."
"Jimmy Johnson was there when ‘FOX NFL SUNDAY’ came on-air for the first time 31 years ago, and since then has been a cherished member of our FOX Sports family, which makes today’s retirement news bittersweet," Shanks said in a statement.

"Coach will be sincerely missed and we wish him the best as he sets sail into retirement, like only Jimmy Johnson can."
Bradshaw and Long are the only other teammates who have been on the show since its inception in 1994. Pam Oliver joined FOX’s NFL coverage in 1995.
Ivanka Trump, the daughter of President Donald Trump, recently posted photos on her Instagram that showed Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Braxton Berrios getting in on some family fun.
She posted a "dump" of several pictures and videos from the month of February, including a photo of her husband, Jared Kushner, with Berrios, Tagovailoa and her son.
She also posted a video of her son and the quarterback-receiver duo tossing around the pigskin.
There was also another photo of her son wearing Matthew Tkachuk's Team USA jersey at a Panthers-Oilers game on Feb. 27. Tkachuk, who did not play in that contest, was one of the players to get into a fight against Team Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off. The Oilers' Connor McDavid netted the championship-winning goal for Canada.
Tagovailoa's wife, Annah, has previously shown support for the president.
Back in October, Annah posted a story to her Instagram on Wednesday that praised Trump's preemptive response to Hurricane Milton; at the time, Trump was still the nominee for the election and a former president.
She re-posted a video by conservative influencer Benny Johnson that showed footage of the former president hosting 275 Florida Power and Light linemen at one of Trump's resorts in Miami. Trump hosted the workers free of charge as a safe place for them to wait out the hurricane while it made landfall in more northern areas of Florida.
While Annah received some praise for her post, there were a few negative comments aimed at her and her husband.
Many of the negative comments addressed Tua's recent concussion that he suffered in Week 2 of the season against the Buffalo Bills. It was the third concussion of the quarterback's pro career, and has brought widespread concern over his long-term brain health and NFL future.

Eddie Hill, a former NFL running back who played for the Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins, has died, one of his former teams announced on Monday. He was 67.
The Dolphins announced Hill’s death in a post on social media.
"We are saddened by the passing of former Dolphins running back Eddie Hill, who played for the team from 1981-84," the team wrote on X.
No official cause of death was announced. Nearly eight years ago, Hill opened up to the Sun-Sentinel about his health issues and revealed he had battled brain cancer. He told the paper he believed he was also dealing with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, or CTE, which is believed to be caused by repeated blows to the head.
"Every life has a purpose and football was one of those biblical, scriptural things that I learned early in life that applied to me, the gift," he told the paper in May 2017, adding he had no regrets about playing the sport.
"And recently, in the last 10-15 years, I’ve learned that purpose and I live that purpose."
The Rams chose Hill in the second round of the 1979 NFL Draft out of Memphis.
He played for Los Angeles for two seasons, including a Super Bowl appearance in his rookie year. The Rams fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XIV.
He was traded to Miami before the start of the 1981 season. He played four more years with the Dolphins before calling it a career.
He appeared in 75 games and had 443 rushing yards with two rushing touchdowns. As a special teams player, he had 17 total kick returns for 330 yards.
Dion Jordan was a highly touted NFL prospect coming out of college in 2013 and was treated as such.
The Miami Dolphins selected Jordan with the No. 3 pick of the draft that year, but his career did not go exactly the way anyone planned. The former defensive end had three sacks in 26 games for the Dolphins and was then suspended in 2015 for violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
He reappeared in the league in 2017 with the Seattle Seahawks, securing four sacks in five games, but it was not enough to revive his career as a starter. He played for the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers before leaving the league following the 2020 season.
Jordan, 34, came to grips with the failure of meeting those high expectations.
"I didn’t have my life in order. My life outside of ball wasn’t in balance," he said in a recent interview on "The Fish Tank" podcast. "You know, it wasn’t what it needed to be to match all of that stuff and I struggled, dude. I struggled coming in. I struggled understanding the plays and the playbook.
"When I left the facility, it didn’t help because I’m out partying. I’m enjoying the money I have, and I’m just putting myself behind the eight-ball. I’m hurt, you know. Sometimes I’m missing my rehabs, so that’s not helping."
Jordan made clear that it was no one else’s fault but his own for the way his NFL career panned out. He is now an assistant at Eureka College in Illinois to help teach the next generation.
In 63 career games, he had 13.5 sacks and 108 total tackles.
Former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Jonathan Martin is walking back his bullying accusations against his former teammate, Richie Incognito, which caused quite the scandal in 2013.
"I never believed for a second I was being bullied," Martin told ESPN. "It’s a story that I’ve been trying to fix for 10 years."
Incognito was suspended by the Dolphins in 2013 after reports that he bullied Martin to the point where the latter stormed out of the team’s cafeteria as a result of what was said.
Martin, a second-round pick by the Dolphins in 2012, was in his second NFL season when the bullying controversy surrounded him and Incognito.
The Dolphins later announced that Incognito was suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team."
The league eventually got involved, retaining lawyer Ted Wells to investigate the incident, which found that Incognito, Mike Pouncey and John Jerry had all been engaging in bullying toward Martin.
The NFL’s report on the matter also said that Martin checked himself into a hospital and his mother needed to be flown across the country to be with him during that time.
But now, Martin is blaming his parents for the situation becoming as widely known as it is today.
"I had a situation with my teammates that I wasn’t super happy about," Martin told ESPN. "But my mother had her own read on the situation.
"I hadn’t even told my coaches, hadn’t told anyone. And suddenly it’s on ESPN, right?" he continued. "I didn’t believe any of the stances I was taking, right, where I’m this victim. I wasn’t a victim, right? And again, it’s been a point of consternation.
"My mother maybe in her mind – I can’t read her mind – she thought she was doing the right thing."
Incognito, who missed the second half of the 2013 season and the entire 2014 campaign due to the scandal, responded after seeing Martin’s new words on the matter.
"He couldn’t cut it in the NFL so he quit and his mom blamed me," he said, bluntly on X. "Legacy media pushed this narrative long and far. Too bad it was all a lie! They lied to protect his money. He quit…the team had every right to claw back that money. His mom started the bullying narrative with @espn @AdamSchefter so that @MiamiDolphins wouldn’t go after his signing bonus!"
While Martin’s mother, Jane, did not speak with ESPN for the interview, his father, Gus, did say his piece.
"His mom and I did strongly intervene," he said. "To make sure he was protected."
Gus Martin also played an alleged voice from Incognito, which was left for his son at the time. The man on the phone who is allegedly Incognito threatens Jonathan Martin, using graphic language including racial slurs.
"Hey, what’s up, you half-n----- piece of s---," Incognito allegedly says. "I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. I’ll s--- in your f---ing mouth. I’m going to slap your f---ing mouth, I’m going to slap your real mother across the face. F--- you, you’re still a rookie. I’ll kill you."
Martin would eventually get traded to the San Francisco 49ers during the offseason after the bullying allegations were brought to light. However, he only played 15 games there before retiring after going to Carolina Panthers training camp the year after.
Meanwhile, Incognito signed with the Buffalo Bills after his suspension was lifted by the league. He spent three seasons in upstate New York before joining the then-Oakland Raiders.
During an appearance on "HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" in 2019, Incognito denied ever bullying his former teammate, blaming Martin’s "mental health issues and his demons" for being out of the league.
Incognito added, "I fit the bill. Hey, racist, homophobic, whatnot. What I’m saying was, we were close, personal friends. It wasn’t factored into, ‘Hey, this is guy talk, these are two alpha males talking to each other.’ Was some bad s--t said? Absolutely. But was this a case of bullying? Absolutely not."
Tyreek Hill appears to be interested in sticking with the Miami Dolphins for the foreseeable future.
On Friday, the star wide receiver expressed his "love" for Miami. "I don't want to go nowhere. I love [Miami], my family loves it," Hill said during an appearance on "Up & Adams."
Hill's latest comments come just weeks after he said he was "out" of Miami following the Dolphins' season-ending loss to the New York Jets.
"I'm out, bro. It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, I’ve got to do what’s best for my career.... I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there," Hill said in January. Hill later admitted he made those remarks during a moment of irritation.
"What y'all had heard at the end of the season was frustration," Hill told ESPN last month.
Hill cited the "special" nature of what the Dolphins were working to create as he further explained his hopes of remaining in Miami.
"It's an amazing thing, man. We are really building something special in Miami. We made it to the playoffs the first two years. Obviously, this year was hard. If guys continue to buy in, to what coach is building and the culture that he's trying to build, it's going to be an amazing thing."
Hill's frustrations appeared to reach a tipping point when he pulled himself out of the second half of Miami’s aforementioned loss to the Jets on Jan. 5 when it became clear Miami would not clinch a playoff berth.
The five-time All-Pro selection expressed regret about his postgame comments.
"I could have handled the situation better," Hill said. "Instead of saying, ‘I’m out,’ I could have obviously handled it better. And I wish I did. But in the heat of the moment, I just said whatever I had to say. And I’m taking full accountability of that."
After leading the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards last season, Hill finished this season with just 959 on 81 catches. It was the first time he didn’t have 1,000 yards receiving since he had 860 with the Kansas City Chiefs in an injury-filled 2019 season. Injuries to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa contributed to Hill’s lack of production. Tagovailoa missed six games in 2024, including the Week 18 loss.
Hill said he has since spoken to Dolphins veterans such as left tackle Terron Armstead, cornerback Jalen Ramsey and running back Raheem Mostert, and offered a public apology Friday to his teammates and Tagovailoa.
"Tua, he’s my guy – always will be, no matter what," Hill said. "I’m sure he understands my frustration, we all want to win... this is my public apology to you, Tua. I love you bro."
He also spoke with coach Mike McDaniel, who in his end-of-season press conference described the conversation as necessary to "clear the air in a rough and tumultuous situation."
Hill agreed to a restructured contract this past offseason that raised his four-year total of fully guaranteed money to $106.5 million. His contract runs through 2026.

For the first time ever, Dublin, Madrid and Berlin will host NFL regular-season games next season, the NFL announced Friday, just days before the Super Bowl.
The Los Angeles Rams will also host a game in Melbourne, Australia, in 2026, the first time an NFL game is played on that continent.
The Pittsburgh Steelers will play at historic Croke Park in the Irish capital, with their opponent yet to be determined.
"I think the emotion you hear from all of us is the excitement to bring a regular-season game to Ireland with the Steelers and how special that will be. And, yes, it ultimately comes back to the fans," Peter O'Reilly, the NFL's executive vice president for international events, said in a statement.
"We see Irish fans travel to games in London or Germany or elsewhere, but this is a game on Irish soil, in Dublin, at Croke Park, and an opportunity to create an incredible atmosphere."
The Steelers played the Chicago Bears in a 1997 preseason game at Croke Park, which has a capacity of more than 82,000.
The Indianapolis Colts will be the home team for a game at Olympic Stadium in Berlin, and the Miami Dolphins will be the home team in Madrid.
The Dolphins are playing at Bernabéu, the home stadium of Spanish soccer club Real Madrid.
The Rams will be the home team when they play in Melbourne, Australia, in 2026. They will play at Melbourne Cricket Ground, a venue that holds about 100,000 spectators, as part of a multiyear deal to have games in Australia.
"This is a big statement," O’Reilly said. "Probably a few years ago, you may not have thought this was a reality. I’d say the commissioner, the 32 owners, there’s a commitment to become a true global sport property. That means expanding our footprint. That means going to different parts of the world and exposing more fans around the world, in this case fans in Australia and Melbourne, to our great sport."
O'Reilly also said the game in Melbourne will likely be played in Week 1 to give teams as much time as possible to acclimate to the difference in time zones.
The NFL could play up to eight games internationally in 2025. London is hosting three of them, with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns each being the home team for a game at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
The Jets are also going to be the home team for a game at Wembley Stadium.
As international consumer markets go, Ireland would be by far the smallest that the NFL has entered so far.
The NFL is also considering having a team play back-to-back weeks in different European cities as it continues to try and expand the game globally.

Another concussion for Tagovailoa meant four missed games, and the Dolphins went 1-3 in that span to quickly fall to 2-4 on the season. Of course, this is a Miami squad that has all the firepower to take the top off defenses and run up the scoreboard.
However, like Braxton Berrios, one of the Dolphins last season who unfortunately could not play all 17 games due to a torn ACL, said, "Injuries happen."
When they happen to a quarterback like Tagovailoa, who is the key to making Mike McDaniel's fast-paced, timing-oriented offense work, it can derail a season.
"I think a lot of times, things don’t fall your way some seasons," Berrios, who was at Radio Row ahead of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on behalf of IRCode, said. "I think that’s part of the game – it’s an imperfect game played by imperfect people. Injuries happen, a lot of different things happen."
Tagovailoa was finally able to come back in Week 8, but the Dolphins did not click immediately. They lost his first two starts back before finally dropping the streak on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.
However, it was a season where the Dolphins did not control their own playoff destiny as they had in the past, and they missed out on a wild card spot.
Tagovailoa took the season especially tough, knowing things might have been different if he had played all 17 games. Again, to Berrios' point, injuries can come at the worst times.
He used another team as a perfect example.
"You look at Detroit, their defense was decimated," he said of the Lions. "Those fans could easily say, ‘If we didn’t get so injured, we might be here.’ And they’re probably absolutely right. But the fact of the matter is, it’s part of the game and you just gotta go with it. Injuries can derail things some seasons, and you just got to pick up where you left off, and use it as motivation, as anything else."
Berrios will be heading to free agency this offseason, but he has no doubt those in the Miami building are the right ones to get back to playoff football in 2025.
"I think the people in the locker room were the right ones," he said. "Obviously, free agency will happen and who knows there, but I think that staff and that upstairs team is in the absolute right direction. I think they have what it takes, but you just need a few more things to shake your way. We’ll see what happens in free agency."
No matter where he might end up, Berrios knows exactly how good Tagovailoa can be when he is 100% healthy on the field.
"First and foremost, incredible guy. Very good friend, we’re actually together this weekend hanging out," he said. "Incredible athlete, and the accuracy and timing are second to none. He makes the offense tick, obviously. All of sudden when he comes back, everything is rolling like it’s supposed to."

Berrios was down in New Orleans on behalf of IRCode, which is changing the way we interact with content, whether it be watching TV or looking at an image.
The football star broke down the "absolutely crazy" experience he had with the technology that he believes will revolutionize the connectivity of brands with consumers.
"To watch live sports and be able to interact digitally [and] immediately? The instant gratification thing is a huge thing in our society, and so is the gamification. So, for me, it’s such a cool way for me to interact with fans in a different way, a live way. If I have something I want to promote or I want to push, when they scan me on TV instead of just getting my jersey, [or] fantasy stats, whatever it is, I can plug in my foundation or anything else I want to lead or direct them to. It’s first of its kind and a really cool way for us to interact with fans."
"You open the app, you don’t have to press anything or open anything. It scans it for you and it takes you wherever you’re supposed to be. It’s really cool."
