Taylor Swift is now the rightful owner of all of her music, and Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are loving it.
The pop icon bought her catalog of recordings, originally released through Big Machine Records, from their most recent owner, the private equity firm Shamrock Capital, regaining control of her entire body of work.
Swift posted a letter to her website about the news and implored her 281 million Instagram followers to read it in a post captioned, "You belong with me," a reference to one of her hit songs. The post was a photo of Swift with each of her first six albums.
Brittany and Swift have formed a friendship in recent years since Swift began dating Patrick's teammate, Travis Kelce, in 2023.
Throughout that season, the Chiefs' WAGs were spotted in suites together at several Chiefs games, and it was not uncommon to see them hanging out outside of games with their significant others.
"I can’t thank you enough for helping to reunite me with this art that I have dedicated my life to, but have never owned until now," Swift addressed fans in the post. "The best things that have ever been mine … finally actually are."
Swift had been rerecording and rereleasing her albums under the moniker "Taylor's Version" in an attempt to regain control of her music.
She has also released new music, including last year’s "The Tortured Poets Department."

The matriarch of the Mahomes family was open about her support for President Donald Trump during the 2024 campaign. She endorsed the president on the eve of the election when she showed up to a Chiefs game wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat.
"I think for a president of our country, of the United States, I think it’s amazing," she said. "I think whoever the president is, to support the teams, to support America’s best sport.… I think it’s really neat for a president to be able to support it. You know what, let’s do it."

"I love those two women – they’re so great," he told OutKick’s Clay Travis. "And they’re so loyal. They’re so great. I met Patrick’s mother at the game, before the game started she came over.
"And Brittany, I’ve seen so much of Brittany, just being so loyal and beautiful. It’s really nice."

Randi Mahomes may have been the most outwardly vocal between herself and her daughter-in-law.
During the Chiefs’ Monday night game before Election Day, she showed her support for Trump by wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat in her box at Arrowhead Stadium.
Brittany Mahomes stoked social media controversy when she "liked" a post on Instagram that outlined the "2024 GOP platform." She then "liked" a separate comment that said "TRUMP-VANCE 2024."
She then made cryptic posts as her support for Trump divided some of her fans.
"I mean honestly, To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood," she wrote. "There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well."
The other message read, "Contrary to the tone of the world today…. you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind. Read that again!"
The grandfather of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has died just weeks after being put in hospice care, the NFL star’s mother confirmed Friday.
Randi Mahomes shared a post on Instagram announcing the passing of her father, Randy.
"Hard to find the words of holding my fathers hand as he goes to Heaven," the caption read.
Randi previously shared to her Instagram Stories last month that she was "lost for words" after her father had been placed on hospice care for an undisclosed reason.
At the NFL Honors last week, Randi told People that she believed her father was "hanging on" to hopefully see his grandson make NFL history by winning three straight Super Bowls.
"I know that it has meant a lot to him," she said. "And I think he's hanging on because he wants to see his grandson do an amazing thing or just let him play."

In his Super Bowl interview with Bret Baier, Trump also praised Patrick's wife, Brittney, who first indicated her support for Trump on Aug. 13, when she liked Trump's Instagram post that outlined the "2024 GOP platform."
"She’s a Trump fan. She’s a MAGA fan, so I happened to love her, but she’s a great person," Trump said in the interview.
Trump was also spotted shaking hands with Chiefs star pass rusher Chris Jones on the field ahead of the game.
However, there was no Trump magic to rub off on Kansas City, as they suffered a 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Chiefs, one of the best offenses in the NFL this season, and a team that has obvious history in this game over the past two years, had just 34 total yards of offense in the first half as the Eagles defense was thriving against the offensive line.
Patrick Mahomes was never comfortable, and it showed as they punted their first three possessions. Mahomes threw two picks, one of which was taken to the house by rookie Cooper DeJean. The Eagles defense sacked Mahomes six times.
Fox News' Scott Thompson contributed to this report.
President Donald Trump made a Super Bowl LIX prediction in his interview ahead of the game on Fox News Channel with Bret Baier.
Trump said he was hesitant about making a pick because of the greatness that will be on the field during the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
"I watched this great quarterback, who has, by the way, has a phenomenal wife," he said, referencing Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. "She’s a Trump fan. She’s a MAGA fan, so I happened to love her, but she’s a great person.
"I guess you have to say a quarterback who has won as much as he’s won, I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic … it’s going to be a great game."
Trump told Baier he was a fan of both the Chiefs and Eagles.
"They’re sort of different," Trump said. "Philadelphia have one of the greatest running backs. Saquon had an uncle who was a great fighter. So, you have a great running back, you really have a great quarterback.
"The other team, the quarterback really knows how to win. He is a great, great quarterback."
Trump explained why he decided to attend the game and become the first sitting president to do so.
"I think just the spirit of the country, the country’s taken on a whole new life. I thought it would be a good thing for the country to have the president be at the game," he said.

What a great couple – See you both at the Super Bowl!"
