One of Kevin Bacon’s upcoming projects will combine two of his favorite things: his family and the horror genre.
The actor, 66, is set to star alongside wife Kyra Sedgwick and their two children — Travis, 35, and Sosie, 33 — in their new film Family Movie. The horror-comedy will follow a family of filmmakers whose slasher film goes off the rails after a real body is discovered on set. In addition to starring, Bacon and Sedgwick, 59, will co-direct the project.
“This is a dream,” Bacon exclusively told Us Weekly of working with his relatives at the Monday, March 31, New York City premiere of his new show, The Bondsman. “We just love hanging out with our kids. But the crazy thing is, not all the time, but every once in a while, they like to hang out with us, and so that’s the s*** right there because you raise them and a lot of times, it doesn’t translate into an ongoing, lasting, close relationship.”
Bacon said that he and his “very close” family of four never take their strong bond “for granted,” adding, “We all work in separate things. Travis works, Kyra works separately, I work separately, Sosie’s always working. Just the idea [of being] able to work together is gold.”
Bacon and Sedgwick tied the knot in 1988 and welcomed Travis and Sosie in 1989 and 1992, respectively. Both of their kids have followed them into the entertainment industry, with Travis working as a musician, composer and producer. Sosie, meanwhile, has built herself an impressive acting career with roles in projects such as 13 Reasons Why, Mare of Easttown, Smile and Hazard.
Despite being one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting couples, Bacon and Sedgwick continue to keep each other humble through humor. In a recent Instagram video, Bacon declared that their date night was “all about” Sedgwick — all while standing underneath a Times Square billboard for The Bondsman.
“Listen, I love hanging out with her,” he gushed to Us on Monday. “She’s my partner. At this point, there’s not that much left to say. We’re a team. We always have been, and we always will be.”

While Sedgwick is Bacon’s partner off screen, Jennifer Nettles fills the role of Bacon’s partner on-screen on their new show The Bondsman, and the two got to collaborate on new music for the series. “We got together in New York. We wrote a song. It got rejected, but we liked writing,” he explained. “So, we wrote a number of other songs for the show, and a couple of them made it in there. And I wrote one with my brother. I wrote one by myself. She wrote one by herself. And then all of a sudden, we turned around and we had eight songs. And we thought, ‘Well, let’s just cut them.’”
The Prime Video series follows a bounty hunter named Hub (Bacon), who is brought back from the dead on the condition that he kills demons who escaped from hell for the devil. The failure to complete his supernatural duties could result in deadly consequences.
Unlike his character, Bacon told Us he doesn’t “want to come back for another life,” but rather “live this one right here, right now.” He added, “If everybody else thought more about the fact that they had a responsibility to live this life in this moment right now, I think the world would be a better place.”
Bacon was also excited to return to the horror genre after getting one of his first breakout roles in 1980’s Friday the 13th, which turns 45 years old this year.
“I love horror. I always have, but the horror that I sort of grew up on was Rosemary’s Baby and The Shining and The Exorcist, and Don’t Look Now,” he shared. “But Friday the 13th was great. Unfortunately, I died, so they couldn’t bring me back for any of the sequels.”
The Bondsman premieres on Prime Video Thursday, April 3.
Over the last decade, the market for Korean skincare and beauty products — dubbed “K-beauty” — has skyrocketed. In fact, even the Kardashian-Jenner clan swears by it. Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kylie and Kendall have credited their gorgeous skin to a variety of K-beauty products, including facial sets, serums and gel cleansers. So if you, too, want to look like a Kardashian, keep reading for the K-beauty products they actually use.
Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner Swear By This One Product
Lip Mask: Kim Kardashian used Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask to gear up for the 2022 Oscars, makeup artist Ariel Tejada told The Independent. Ariel calls it it “one of the greatest lip balms of all time,” because it can be used before bed, or throughout the day for ultimate hydration.
Facial Set: In 2019, Kourtney and Kim tried out the Hanacure Facial Set, which is a buzzy new treatment from South Korea. It combats fine lines, loss of elasticity and hyper-pigmentation.
“Kim convinced me to use this face mask and I feel stunning,” Kourtney joked on Instagram, posting a photo of her and Kim in spooky looking beauty masks.
Khloe Kardashian Has a Go-To K-Beauty Skincare Tool
Skincare Tool: Khloe Kardashian uses the Medicube Age-R Booster Pro — in fact, she’s a big fan. This K-beauty skincare tool has six skincare functions: Electroporation, microcurrent, EMS, electric needles, LED light and sonic vibration. It supposedly works to renew and repair skin, and it’s suitable for all skin types.
Kylie Jenner Loves These Two Medicube Products
Serum: Kylie Jenner is chock full of skincare secrets, and evidently, Medicube Peptide Serum is one of her go-tos. It uses vegan rose PDRM to repair the skin, and give a luminous complexion.
“I like that the serum is soft and easy to apply,” she said in an interview with The Zoe Report.
Facial Toner Pads: It seems as though Jenner is loyal to Medicube, because she’s added Medicube Zero Pore Pads to her skincare regimen, according to InStyle. It exfoliates and refines pores using citric acid, botanical extracts and more.

Amazon Prime Video has yet to share the new additions to its movie library this month, and that’s not a late April Fool’s Day joke.
While we can’t tell you which classic movies and TV shows will be coming to Prime Video yet, we can say that Kevin Bacon is starring in a new Amazon original series, The Bondsman. He’ll be playing a man who does the devil’s dirty work for him by sending renegade demons back to Hell.
Later in the month, Viola Davis is having another action moment following her turn in The Woman King. G20 casts Davis as the President of the United States, and she’s forced to save herself when terrorists attack the G20 summit.
The incomplete list of what’s new on Amazon Prime Video in April 2025 is below. If Amazon shares the rest of the list, we’ll update the lineup.
As Brooke Hogan and her parents, Hulk and Linda, continue to trade barbs and accusations on social media, Nick Hogan finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
Nick, 34, the youngest child of Hulk, 71, and Linda, 65, has refrained from directly inserting himself into the latest family drama involving his parents and his sister Brooke, 36.
“He’s caught in the middle,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly.
The source added, “He has pressure from a lot of different people to just kind of stay where he is. You know, just stay quiet. He has a lot to lose from a few different ends. He can’t really support anybody in the situation. He’s just trying to stay out of it as much as possible to make sure he’s in good graces with as many people as he can be.”
Nick has had multiple run-ins with the law in the decades since his family’s reality series, Hogan Knows Best, hit the airwaves on VH1 in 2005. Most recently, Nick was arrested for DUI in Clearwater, Florida in November 2023. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year of probation.
Body cam footage from the scene of the arrest was later released that showed Hulk chatting with officers after Nick was placed in custody. “This is crazy. Sorry about this,” Hulk told the authorities.
Hogan Knows Best ran for four seasons, from 2005 to 2007. Brooke went on to star in her own spinoff reality series, Brooke Knows Best, which ran for two seasons from 2007 to 2009 and included guest appearances from her family members.

Nick got married in January to former adult film actress, Tana Lea.
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives of Nick for comment.
“I try very hard to ignore issues surrounding my family in hopes I might have peace in my life,” Brooke explained.
Brooke is not currently on speaking terms with either of her parents, saying she “intentionally made myself smaller in my professional career in music and TV simply to dodge the public negativity surrounding my family that has continuously and relentlessly overshadowed anything I do.”
“I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents,” she added in her post. “No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother. … This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me my entire life.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly how Brooke’s husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy, has been attempting to broker peace between his wife and Hulk for “years.”
The source said Oleksy, 39, has directly requested a “man-to-man conversation” from Hulk multiple times since he began dating Brooke.
“Unfortunately, that’s never been in the cards,” the source said.
Brooke and Oleksy got secretly married in June 2022 and welcomed fraternal twins — Oliver and Molly — in January 2025.
Katie Thurstonis opening up about the different avenues she and husband Jeff Arcuri have discussed to expand their family after her stage 4 breast cancer battle is treated.
Thurston, 34, shared a screenshot of a social media exchange via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 2, in which she was asked how she “can afford surrogacy.” (The former Bachelorette previously said in a post last month that a gestational carrier may be her best option to have a baby after undergoing chemotherapy.)
“No idea how much it is. We haven’t even begun to cross this path,” Thurston replied in Wednesday’s screenshot. “No idea how much adoption is. Both are very expensive. And both take time.”
She continued, “Surrogacy isn’t even a guarantee that the embryo makes it to term. I have a year ahead of me, so it’ll be a while until we explore options.”
Thurston was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in February. Knowing that she’d need chemo and additional surgeries to treat the tumors, she and Arcuri, 36, opted to do a round of in vitro fertilization (IVF) first to preserve fertility.
“It does raise the risk of you not being able to conceive. And so we [knew] that we wanted kids in the future. We thought, ‘OK, well let’s do IVF just to have that option,’” Thurston exclusively told Us Weekly in March. “We dedicated two weeks before doing anything else breast cancer-wise to doing IVF.”

After doing “10 days of just shots,” Thurston and Arcuri retrieved 17 eggs and six became fertilized embryos at RMA of New York. Only two ended up being viable.
Late last month, Thurston underwent a PET scan that revealed her cancer had spread to her liver, which elevated her illness to stage 4. She will next start her treatment before even considering the best avenues to have children.
“Maybe parenthood isn’t in the cards for us,” she added on Wednesday. “If there is anything I’ve learned in two months, it’s that you can make all the plans you want, but life is gonna do its thing.”
Thurston further noted that she and Arcuri would likely try to use their two stored embryos before looking into adoption.
“There are many emotional, physical and financial layers to parenthood,” she responded to another social media user in a DM screenshotted and shared via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday. “We will cross each bridge as we go.”
Before Thurston starts her treatment, she wed Arcuri following their 2024 engagement.
“We were wanting to plan a wedding and there’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don’t know what the next year looks like,” Thurston told Us last month, two days before their nuptials. “And one night he said, ‘I want to show you that I still love you and that I’m here to stay. I’ll get married to you tomorrow.’ We flew our parents in from Michigan and Washington State. We got our marriage license and a friend is just gonna marry us.”
She continued, “It was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health. He is proving that he’s here to stay. He shows up every day and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise.”
Arcuri also thought it was important to marry Thurston before she started chemo.
“I want to be able to be in the hospital with her and just be like, ‘My wife’s in there.’ There’s more power to that,” Arcuri told Us. “I don’t want to be not with you for any of this.”
Jake Shane is living out his dreams as he makes his foray into acting — which he teased to Us before his role in Hacks season 4 was announced.
“I really want to get into acting. I just did my first acting thing. It’s not announced yet. It’s small, but it’s really, really, really cool, and I’m really excited about that,” Shane, 25, exclusively told Us Weekly in March while promoting his partnership with CeraVe. “So hopefully that opens more doors. I’m really, really hoping to get into that.”
Variety reported on Wednesday, April 2, that Shane would play “Social Media Girlie” in season 4 of Hacks. After news broke of his casting, Shane teased via his social media that he would be in a “few episodes” of the Max show.
“It’s not every day you fall in love with a TV show … and then get to guest star in it. Honored to announce I’ll be in a few episodes of Max’s Hacks Season 4, premiering April 10,” Shane wrote via Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes images of his time onset. “Thank you to Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky for trusting me with their vision, and the entire Hacks cast and crew for being so welcoming … I am so grateful to be a part of this masterpiece of a show.”

Shane also shared a throwback video of him finding out he was cast on the show. In the TikTok uploaded on Wednesday, Shane placed his hand over his mouth before jumping around the room in joy and screaming.
Season 4 of Hacks — which is set to premiere on Thursday, April 10 — picks up after Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) landed her dream job on late-night and refused to give Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder) the head writer gig. Ava, however, ended up black-mailing Deborah into giving her the role.

When it comes to getting tips on his acting skills, Shane told Us that he has leaned on pal Glen Powell — whom he called “one of the busiest people I think I’ve ever met in my entire life.”
“I do actually always ask Glen for advice, and he always gives me really, really great advice,” Shane said. “It’s a business where you hear no a lot. So if you have something going for you that’s working, keep pushing forward with that while working on it. Don’t just forgo everything just for this, you know?”
While Shane has yet to appear on the big screen, he did make an appearance in Poppi’s 2025 Super Bowl commercial with influencer Alix Earle and Love Island USA’s Rob Rausch.
“That was so fun. I was so excited to film that. That was like the best news ever,” he told Us of the ad that aired during football’s biggest night. “I remember, like, calling [Alix], being like, ‘Oh my God, I think we’re gonna do a Super Bowl commercial together.’ It was just the best moment ever. We were both screaming. It was just awesome to get to do [it] with one of my closest friends as well.”
Hacks premieres on Max Thursday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET.
In a new cover story, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about her battle with cancer. Mellencamp, 43, revealed earlier this year that she is dealing with stage 4 melanoma, which has metastasized to her brain and lungs. “I’m fighting for my life. But also for my family’s life and all the people I love,” the former Bravo personality told Us. While Mellencamp is “listening to my body” and “staying active,” she admitted that the experience has been “really emotional.” Several more tumors were found following Mellencamp’s initial surgery, causing a shift in her treatment plan — and her journey isn’t over yet. “I find out for sure exactly where we stand on June 1. If you need to do another round, if there’s any other surgery, if it’s the end. It’s a hard pill to swallow,” she told Us, adding that sarcasm has been a useful coping mechanism. “I’d rather joke about it and have the best possible outcome than be completely in denial and have my heart broken.” Keep reading for more exclusive updates and top stories:

“Excuse me, Raya, why am I still on the waitlist? I have five referrals,” Mellencamp, 43, exclusively joked in her Us Weekly cover story, on newsstands now. “I realize that, maybe, I’m slightly controversial, but I’d appreciate you letting me in ’cause I’ve seen some of the other people [on there] and they seem like even bigger trainwrecks than me.”
Mellencamp filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, in November 2024. Together, they share daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 5, as well as son Cruz, 10. (Arroyave, 47, is also father to daughter Isabella, 16, from a past relationship.)
As Mellencamp and Arroyave navigate coparenting their children, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality started dating again thanks to the app Hinge.
“There’s only been two guys I’ve actually gone on dates with,” Mellencamp told Us, joking she wouldn’t “listen” if Arroyave gave any dating advice. “The first [person on Hinge] asked me if I wanted to have more kids, and I was like, ‘I’m in the hospital. This isn’t really the right time, bud. I have a head wrap on. I just learned my own birth date.’ But the other guy is super nice, super sweet, kind — exactly what I need right now.”
Mellencamp revealed in February that doctors found multiple tumors on her brain, which required emergency surgery to remove. The procedure successfully took out a handful of tumors, more of which are being treated via radiation and immunotherapy.
John Chapple/MEGA
“I’m fighting for my life,” Mellencamp said in her cover story, which took place on March 24, two days before four additional tumors were discovered in her brain on March 26. “But, also for my family’s life and all the people I love.”
According to Mellencamp, her cancer battle is “definitely the hardest thing” she’s faced in her life.
“Now, it feels less hard. When I was in the ICU, it was incredibly difficult because I had no memory,” Mellencamp recalled to Us. “One day, I realized it was my daughter’s birthday, and I couldn’t be there for it; it was really sad. It’s still sad when I can’t be there for my kids the way I’d normally be.”
“They realize when I’m in pain and how massive the surgery was. I don’t know that they know the rest,” she said. “I think they’re a bit scared. I’m going to fight really hard. I can’t imagine my life without them, so I’m going to do everything I possibly can, no matter how mean it makes me. I can’t imagine — does this sound like a narcissist? — any of them living without me.”

Dog owners everywhere can relate: when duty calls, you throw together a ’fit from whatever is in close reach in order to get your pup outside as quickly as possible.
Irina Shayk, however, is making that often cumbersome activity and elevated affair. On Monday, April 1, the supermodel took her beloved pooch and similarly treasured $60,000 Birkin bag out for a stroll in New York City.
By her standards, Shayk, 39, was dressed casually, but it was miles away from the more haphazardly attired dog walkers among us. Her rare Hermès Birkin 35 bag in black crocodile with gold hardware is perhaps the most glamorous solution to toting doggy bags on the go.
She wrapped up in a long and shaggy black shearling coat by Moose Knuckles — a unisex style with grained sheepskin trim, leather tabs at the collar and silk lining. Although gargantuan in size compared to her Yorkshire Terrier, the choice of outerwear matched her canine companion perfectly.
Meanwhile, the Victoria’s Secret model’s Rick Owens trousers instantly elevated an otherwise basic black hoodie and served as a chic yet equally comfortable (if not more so!) alternative to blue jeans.
Irina ShaykXNY/Star Max/GC Images
She tied her outfit together with sleek Balenciaga sunglasses but added a playful double dose of color in Riccardo Tisci x NikeLab Air Force 1 High ‘Victorious Minotaurs’ sneakers. (The limited-edition kicks feature Tisci’s initials, R.T., embroidered at the back.)
Shayk is no stranger to serving looks on her regular dog walks with Peanut, whom she and her ex-husband Bradley Cooper reportedly share custody with along with their daughter, Lea, 7. Peanut, for his part, looked dapper in a Louis Vuitton monogrammed collar and leash set.
Here’s hoping that Cooper, 50, springs for the $60,000 Louis Vuitton kennel (designed by Pharrell Williams), which left the actor slack-jawed at the brand’s store opening last November. As he said on the red carpet: “The biggest standout for me was the Louis Vuitton dog house.”
No doubt Peanut and his devoted designer-wearing model mom Shayk would also agree.

Graham, 58, had a pretty honest answer when asked about her relationships with the Parenthood cast during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, released on Wednesday, April 2.
“Well, I mean, varied,” the actress admitted. “Predominantly, it was the most easy filming experience which — [you] bond to some degree no matter what — but when something’s easy and you just have a lot of time to sit around and chit chat, that’s so fun. How lucky were we that we got to make this show where it was a very different way of working?”
Graham said it was a “looser” working experience on this show, in which she played Sarah Braverman from 2010 to 2015.
She gushed specifically about her onscreen children, Mae Whitman and Miles Heizer, who played Amber and Drew Holt, respectively.
Actors Craig T. Nelson, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Lauren Graham, and Peter Krause.Taylor Hill/FilmMagic/Getty Images
“I just love everybody, truly,” Graham continued. “I had the fortune of working with Mae and Miles being child-of-mine adjacent. Incredible friendships that have lasted.”
Graham famously found love on the Parenthood set, dating costar Krause, 59, who played her brother Adam Braverman on the show.
“Nobody knew about it for a while because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out,” she explained in a 2010 interview. “I’ve also been really protective of it because it’s important that you can buy us as brother and sister on the show.”
The Gilmore Girls alum eventually offered more details about the breakup in her November 2022 bookHave I Told You This Already? Stories I Don’t Want to Forget to Remember.
“When my relationship of almost twelve years ended last year, I went into a sort of shock I’d never experienced before,” she wrote. “I’d be doing normal things like driving to the store, or putting in a load of laundry, but also have the sensation of watching myself doing these things from a distance.”
Graham noted that she felt as though she was “moving in slow motion” following the split.
“It was as if I’d spent a long time watching a movie with ominous background music, not noticing, until it finally swelled to a level I couldn’t ignore,” she continued. “And none of these metaphors were quite accurate.”
While promoting the book, Graham hinted that she and Krause didn’t see eye-to-eye on certain things.
“I didn’t maybe ask some fundamental questions about ‘What are your values and what do you envision?’ and those more grown-up things,” she told People at the time. “And then they just caught up with us.”
Gyllenhaal, 47, showed off an avant-garde accessory while promoting her The Bride, which she directed, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday, April 1. She wore a black Schiaparelli suit from the Spring 2025 line, featuring a tailored blazer equipped with a gold key lock enclosure and straight-leg trousers for the occasion. She contrasted the look with a white dress shirt and a cherry red manicure.
The most head-turning part of her ensemble, however, was easily her $2200 Schiaparelli tie, which was fashioned out of a large lock of faux hair. The ombré tresses cascaded past her waist and were styled in a neat braid.
Gyllenhaal matched the accessory to her own brunette locks, which was parted to the side and styled in textured waves. The actress opted for soft makeup, matching her lipstick with her nails. She tied her glam together with soft brown eyeshadow, feathered eyebrows and a healthy swirl of blush.
While Gyllenhaal can effortlessly slay with an offbeat look, she has no shortage of soigné ensembles, too. In October 2024, she donned an elegant black gown by The Row at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. The knit design was equipped with a gold hoop neckline, cut-outs at the sleeves and a column skirt. Gyllenhaal chose effortlessly understated jewelry for the evening, including a simple gold bangle and emerald beaded earrings.

One year prior, she buttoned up in a Giorgio Armani three-piece suit at the 80th Venice International Film Festival. Her timeless ensemble was complete with a velvet vest, which exposed just the right amount of skin, a fitted blazer and sleek pants.
Jason and Travis Kelce got into the weeds about what body part of theirs they would like to make detachable.
“From Em, no dumb questions. If you could make one of your body parts detachable, which would it be and why?” Jason, 37, said on the Wednesday, April 2, episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. “It’s a very weird question Em.”
Jason encouraged Travis, 35, to answer first, prompting the Kansas City Chiefs player to take a minute to process the question before responding.
“I don’t know, maybe my ears so I wouldn’t have to hear people?” Travis responded, which Jason agreed would be a good option.
Travis went on to add that a detachable nose would be a good option, too.
“You’re going sense,” Jason noted. “If there’s mayonnaise in the area, you don’t want to smell that.”
Travis agreed, sharing that he didn’t want to smell that particular odor.
“I’m going senses though, I’m going ears or nose,” Travis said of his final answer.
Jason acknowledged that removing a person’s ears would be “nice,” especially when it was time for bed.
“[You’re] trying to get some shut-eye, trying to go to sleep, just take your ears off. Sleep tight,” he said.
However, Travis pointed out that waking up from a slumber could be an issue, and that he would need something in the room to jolt him awake. Then the conversation went off the rails when Jason added a new hypothetical into the mix.
“Alright, I’m just going to throw it out there. I mean if we’re being honest it usually just gets in the way,” Jason said joyfully without naming the body part. “It’s an inconvenient appendage at times … I mean I’m very happy I have one.”
Travis picked up what his brother was putting down and asked if Jason was referring to “the ball and chain.”
“I think it’s a one-stop shop,” he countered. “I think it’s all one appendage”
Travis attempted to shut down Jason’s logic saying, “I don’t think that’s how it works.”
Jason, for his part, continued down his rabbit hole of male genitalia.
“If you could just take it all off it would eradicate … it just gets in the way sometimes. You know what I mean?” he explained. If you’re running, you gotta think there’d be less friction without that in between your legs to play sports.”
Travis cut in to point out he’s never had that issue, but Jason went further down the proverbial rabbit hole.
“If you could detach it, that means you could probably attach an upgraded one. I mean you could go bigger,” he said. “Assuming it is a universal connection point, I could attach another one.”
Travis erupted in laughter.
“You’re a f***ing psychopath man,” Travis said in between laughs. “I was waiting for you to make it make sense and you never disappoint.”
Jason called Intern Brandon to ask the Perplexity search engine to weigh in on what would be the best body part to make detachable. The result included practical options, like the appendix and tonsils, before offering creative options, like an arm, leg and head. The idea of a detachable head caught Jason’s attention, reminding him of Futurama.
“I wouldn’t mind that … why would I make my d**k detachable if I could just make my head detachable and put it on somebody with a bigger d**k,” he quipped.
Jason was then reminded of an old saying that their dad, Ed Kelce, used to tell them.
“What would Dad say? You’d lose your d**k if it wasn’t attached?” he asked. “I think that’s what he used to tell us.”
Travis agreed that he remembered hearing that from Ed back in the day.
“Maybe that’s why I thought of this immediately.” Jason reflected. “You’re right dad, I don’t want this to be detachable cause I would definitely lose that motherf***er.”
After coming up with multiple scenarios where Jason could potentially lose the body part, he agreed making it detachable was not a good idea.
“Yeah, you’re right — we don’t want that to be detachable, it’s got to stay on,” he said. “I’m not responsible enough to have a detachable d**k.”
Griffin says she finds DeGeneres to be “very naturally funny,” seeming to respect the former talk show host for her professional chops. But that’s where the compliments end.
Griffin opened up about the long-standing feud in a video for her YouTube channel, where she went back and looked at their first run-in in the 1990s.
“I have a loathing for her that is epic,” she said in the video, published Wednesday, April 1. “I know a lot of it is jealousy. I get it. She’s way more successful than I’ll ever be.”
“You’re welcome, Ellen,” she continued. “That’s way nicer than anything you’ve ever said about me or ever will.”
The two have had more run-ins over the years, including a dispute over Griffin’s status on The Ellen Degeneres Show and an argument following the death of Joan Rivers.

As Griffin explained, the trouble began when she guest-starred on her future adversary’s 1990s sitcom, Ellen. DeGeneres came into the table read for her episode and recognized Griffin from a commercial she had recently done for Kenmore Stereos.
In the ad, Griffin recited the lyrics to Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” in an understated, deadpan way. DeGeneres insisted she do it again at the table read.
“It was just off. It wasn’t said with, like, a fun spirit,” Griffin described. “If that was me and I was the star of the show, I just wouldn’t do that to somebody who’s like the day player…I felt like she was saying ‘dance, b****, dance.”
Eventually, Griffin recited the lyrics, only the joke didn’t work without her outfit and backup dancers. The rest of the cast and crew, some of whom had not seen the commercial, sat by in an awkward silence.
“You could hear a pin drop because I felt like the rest of the room was just going, ‘I don’t get what’s so special about this,’” she said. “[Ellen] then also kind of looked at me like, ‘what are you doing?’”
“If you know her, that is like who she is,” Griffin concluded. “She never was friendly after that. It was just rough.”
2007
In a March 2007 interview with W Magazine, DeGeneres denied Griffin’s claim that the comedian had been banned from her talk show.
“I know she had a big thing about wanting to be on the show, and we didn’t book her,” she said. “She did a whole thing that I banned her from the show. I didn’t ban her from the show, because first you have to be on the show to be banned.”
She eventually had Griffin on the show later that year, but called her “mean” during her opening monologue. Griffin later said she felt betrayed.
“I was in the dressing room like, ‘S**t! You’re another woman comic, c’mon!'” she told Us Weekly at the time.
DeGeneres never liked comedian Joan Rivers’ brand of comedy, according to Griffin, because she felt the late comic was “too vulgar.” When Rivers died in 2014, Griffin reached out to DeGeneres hoping to get her help for a tribute.
“I just called her and I just said, ‘Look, woman to woman, comic to comic, I think you need to let go of your hatred for Joan Rivers. She’s passed away, just do a f—ing tribute, be cool,’” Griffin explained in a 2018 story for Variety.
When DeGeneres refused, allegedly saying, “there’s a difference between mean and funny,” Griffin fired back.
“That f***ing set me off,” she said. “So we had a fight in which I used inflammatory words like, ‘Look you f***ing untalented hack.’ … You know when you’re fighting with someone and you can kind of laugh at a point? Yeah, not that day.”
Griffin claims she later reached out to DeGeneres to apologize but received no response.
2016
Griffin published her book, Celebrity Run-Ins: My A-Z Index in 2016 and included a story that seemed to be about DeGeneres kicking her out of a dressing room at the Emmys.
“I’m almost positive a certain beloved daytime talk show host once had me kicked out of a backstage dressing room at the Emmy Awards.” she wrote: “I can’t prove it, but this person, who has short blonde hair, has a mean streak that all of Hollywood knows about.”
Griffin later told the Hollywood Reporter that an angry DeGeneres called her after the book was published.
“The only angry call I got was from Ellen DeGeneres, which is, by the way, not fun to get when you’re like, a female comic who loves her and her accomplishments,” she said in a December 2016 interview. “She was extremely upset, and I think she had a thought that she was going to, like, put me in my place, or whatever, but as you know I’m not shut-uppable.”
“We kind of got into it, and I’m not going to lie, after I hung up, I sobbed like a baby,” she admitted. “I admire her and, you know, it was a difficult conversation. But hey, it came with the territory.”
Dave Coulier and Melissa Bring formed a strong relationship before saying “I do.”
Coulier met Bring in 2005, over a decade after he and his ex-wife, Jayne Modean, ended their two-year marriage in 1992. (The exes welcomed their only child, son Luc, in 1990.)
Coulier popped the question to Bring after nine years of dating in 2014 and the two wed later that year. “I’m a lucky man — since 7-2-2005. mi familia,” the Full House alum captioned a July 2020 Instagram pic of Bring with their two dogs, Shorty and Ziggy.
In November 2024, Coulier announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Discussing the news during an episode of Today, Coulier said Bring didn’t believe the news at first.
“She said, ‘Have you heard anything?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I have cancer.’ And she said, ‘C’mon, quit making jokes.’ And I said, ‘No, I did,’” he shared. “And once that settled in, it was a gut punch.”
He went on to praise Bring for being a source of support amid his cancer battle, stating, “She has been so incredible from when we first got the news. … She has been there every step of the way.” (News broke that Coulier was cancer-free in March 2025.)

While opening up about his cancer diagnosis, Coulier told People he and Bring consulted friends within the medical field to create “a very specific plan for how they were going to treat this.”
Reflecting on breaking the news to his wife, he added: “I looked at how those words affected [Melissa] and I thought, you know what, I’m going to be strong throughout this, not just for me, but I’m going to be strong for her.”
Bring gave fans an update on Coulier’s cancer journey, telling local Detroit news station WXYZ, “He has some really tough days, and as the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult.”
Despite his health hardships, Bring noted that her husband maintained his “positive attitude.” She shared, “Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too.”
She also credited Coulier’s family for giving him the strength to fight cancer.
“He has had a lot of loss in his life when it comes to having to deal with cancer. He lost his mother, his sister, his niece. His other sister had it,” Bring explained. “I think for him, he takes every stride and really pulls strength from seeing the women that were so close in his life to powering through it, and he just wants to honor them.”

Reminding fans to take care of themselves as well as others, they continued, “So today, on Valentine’s Day, we’re sending all our love to you. Thank you for being a source of strength and light. In an interview with Parade, Bring revealed that Coulier was preparing for the worst after going through his fifth round of chemotherapy. “He was like, ‘I’m prepared either way. If I die, I die. And if I can stay here, great. I want to,’” she shared. “Those conversations were obviously so tough.”
Coulier, for his part, said he was trying to be realistic about his condition at the time. “I think everybody’s mind goes there,” he said of thinking about death. “It’s part of the reality of life. Like, ‘Wow, this is really serious’ and ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’ I’ve seen it so often in my family.”
Luckily, Coulier got the good news that there was an absence of cancer cells halfway through his treatments. “I’m in a position where I can inspire others. A negative attitude doesn’t inspire anybody,” he told the outlet. “Positivity, though, can take you a long way.”
One day after Cameron Bure broke the news that he was cancer-free, Coulier thanked fans in a message of his own. “I’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to family, friends and fans for their continued prayers, love and support throughout my emotional roller coaster ride through cancer,” he said in a statement, per multiple outlets. “I will continue to encourage others to check in with doctors to get early screenings like breast exams, colonoscopies and prostate exams.”
Glen Powell has seen the internet’s reaction to Sydney Sweeney attending his sister Leslie Powell’s wedding amid her split from fiancé Jonathan Davino.
“The wedding caused a little bit of a stir. Did that surprise you?” Jenna Bush Hager asked the Twisters star, 36, on the Wednesday, April 2, episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. Powell chuckled as he replied, “You know, timing is everything in this world, isn’t it?”
Though Glen didn’t specifically mention Sweeney’s recent split, he did drop her name while chatting about Leslie’s big day. “She and Syd are obviously great friends, and it was a hell of a wedding,” he shared. “The Powells know how to do it right, and so, all the people that love her were there.”
Powell went on to call his sister’s new husband, Thomas Gillespie, “the best guy” and revealed that he gave a speech during the wedding. “I’m a groomsman, but I think there were, sort of, I guess everybody sort of had other roles, but I’m like the master of ceremonies, I guess, at the wedding,” he explained to Bush Hager, 43, and her guest cohost, Olivia Munn.
Less than a week before Leslie’s Saturday, March 29, wedding, a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that Sweeney and Davino, 41, had called off their spring nuptials after facing major issues,” some of which stemmed from Sweeney’s busy schedule.
Sweeney was spotted hanging out with Powell at a local Dallas restaurant during Leslie’s wedding weekend, per pics obtained by DeuxMoi on Sunday, March 30. However, another source exclusively clarified to Us that “there is nothing going on romantically between Glen and Syndey.”
The insider noted that Sweeney is “close friends” with Leslie and the Powell family and “brought one of her girlfriends to the wedding as a guest and she RSVP’d months ago.”

One day later, a separate source confirmed to Us that Sweeney and Davino had called it quits. “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” the insider shared on Monday, March 31. “[Sydney is] telling friends she is single.”
Sweeney got engaged to Davino after four years of dating in 2022 but famously sparked romance rumors with Powell while promoting their 2023 rom-com Anyone But You. The pair played up their chemistry but denied dating speculation, something which a source told Us back in May 2023 served as a “huge test” for Sweeny and Davino’s relationship.
Following Sweeney’s split news, Powell’s mother, Cyndy Powell, addressed the reignited chatter about her son and the Euphoria actress’ relationship status. “They’re definitely not together,” she told the Daily Mail on Monday, adding, “We love Sydney. We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend. We all were together so much, and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s a really good friend and we all enjoy her.”
While Sweeney sported a light blue dress at Leslie’s nuptials, she donned a wedding-inspired look while promoting her upcoming film The Housemaid at CinemaCon on Tuesday, April 1. She sported a silver metallic dress by the bridal brand Wiederhoeft but noticeably did not accessorize the look with her engagement ring.
“It’s still exciting, but it was so mind-blowing to just be, like, milling around to see Christopher Walken [on set],” Griffin, 64, said in a Tuesday, April 1, YouTube video. “I didn’t talk to him. I was too afraid to talk to him. … Anyway, it was just a wild party to be at. Like, Travolta was there.”
According to Griffin, she initially hoped to get insights from Travolta, 71, about his experience with the Church of Scientology.
“Of course, I wanted to ask him about Scientology and what it’s like to be a [member],” Griffin recalled. “I wanted to get him out of Scientology, but I was also telling myself the whole time I was at that party, ‘Don’t do it, Kathy. Do not go up to John Travolta and try to get him to leave Scientology. Quentin [Tarantino, the director] is not going to like that.’”
She added, “It was a big inner struggle, but I didn’t do it. There’s a little part of [me] now that regrets not doing it because that would have been, if nothing else, a very good chunk of my [stand-up] act.”

Griffin made a brief appearance as herself in Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, which starred Travolta and Uma Thurman. During that time, Travolta was a noted member of the Church of Scientology. The Grease actor joined the organization in 1975 when he was 21 years old.
Travolta later told Us Weekly exclusively in 2019 that Scientology helped him and wife Kelly Preston cope with their son Jett’s death in 2009. Jett, who was 16 years old, had suffered a fatal seizure. (Travolta and Preston, who died in 2020, also shared daughter Ella and son Benjamin.)
“The church never left our sides for two years,” Travolta exclusively told Us in January 2019. “I don’t know if I would have made it through without their support. Our church is the No. 1 thing that keeps us grounded.”
Travolta has also frequently defended Scientology as the religious organization has faced various criticisms over the years. During a 2015 appearance on Good Morning America, the actor called his religion “misunderstood.”
“You know, people really need to take time and read a book … that’s my advice,” Travolta said on GMA. “You could read New Slant on Life or Dianetics, and I think if you really read it, you’ll understand it. But unless you do, you’ll speculate, and I think it’s a mistake to do that.”

“Hey remember when Grant said on television ‘Should I just stop right now and pick litia?’” one user commented on Juliana’s Tuesday, April 1, TikTok. Juliana, 28, replied, “Hey so this is a really odd thing to take time of out your day to type.. hope that helps!!!! .”
In Juliana’s video, she lipsynced and danced to No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.” She wrote over the video, “When u have to stay in separate hotels from your fiancé bc the world doesn’t know ur together yet.”

Ahead of the season 29 finale of The Bachelor, Grant dropped the L-bomb to Litia, 31, and questioned whether he should end the show because of his declaration of love.
“I think the maturity that you bring is big. I like the ground that you stand on, and I know where your priorities are, and I know what’s important to you, it’s what you are on the inside that I can see myself with you,” Grant told Litia. “And see you as my wife, because I do love you.”
In the finale episode, Grant told Juliana he was in love with her and appeared torn between his final two. He eventually sent home Litia, who appeared blindsided by the split, and told Grant that she would have “a lot of questions” if she were Juliana based on what the lead had said. While the exes reunited at the live portion of the episode in March, Litia said she was “glad” that the events were not a part of her “love story.”
While recalling the comments, Grant exclusively told Us Weekly after the finale that there was “a lot” that he “didn’t align with” when it came to Litia’s perspective.
“I’m not gonna sit up there and argue with her on stage about what she thought I said. But I think that having a little more clarity — when you are the Bachelor, you do see your final two contestants as somebody that could be your wife,” he told Us. “That’s where some confusion came into play. There’s room for interpretation when things are said, ‘off camera.’ At that point in time, I can’t really say much. I’m not gonna argue, I just have to accept whatever the conditions are and apologize and let her feel how she feels because she’s in a tough situation and she’s hurt. I understand.”

Juliana, who accepted a proposal from the lead in the Bachelor season finale, was upset with Litia for name-dropping her in the breakup with Grant.
“I think that that was uncalled for,” Juliana said on the Tuesday episode of “The Viall Files” podcast of the comment Litia made. “Then to continue to make kind of those jabs on stage, saying she is glad that this isn’t a part of her love story and that she deserves a man that’s not so confused up until the last second, when Grant and I know the reality of it and that was strictly a jab at me, I think that those things took me back.”
She continued, “I want her to be supported. I’m not saying by any means that I don’t want her to feel like she has a girl gang behind her lifting her up because I can’t imagine what it’s like to get to that point and maybe have your heart and your ego bruised. But I think at the end of the day, I had relations with a lot of the girls, and at no point were they making digs at him or our relationship. Where now it’s like, maybe that’s a platform that’s being used for whatever purpose it is, but it’s hurtful and it’s not anything I want to surround myself with at any point in my life.”
While Haley Joel Osmentwas displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires, he is grateful he now gets to spend more time with sister — and current roommate — Emily Osment.
“Because I lost my house in the fires, I’ve been living with her for the past a couple months,” Haley Joel, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the Poker Face panel at PaleyFest on Saturday, March 29. “So she’s been very generous and helping me out there. She’s fantastic.”
Haley Joel has enjoyed getting to cohabit with Emily, 33, as they focus on their careers, adding, “She’s great. Her show [Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage] is just wrapping up season 1 right now. Great community of people there.”
While the siblings have leaned on each other off screen, they have yet to showcase their bond in front of the cameras Haley Joel acknowledged how long fans have waited in the hope that he would share a scene with Emily in any of their individual projects.
“It’s funny that we have never had a scene together on screen,” he quipped to Us. “We were both in The Kominsky Method and we were in a wedding scene together — but we didn’t have any interaction. I know something will happen eventually because she’s great and I’m so proud of everything she’s done.”
Both of the Osment siblings got their start as child stars, with Haley Joel appearing in Forrest Gump and The Sixth Sense before his more recent opportunities, like Blink Twice and season 2 of Wednesday. Emily, for her part, was on Hannah Montana before transitioning to more mature projects, including Young & Hungry and now Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.

Despite not working together yet, Emily and Haley Joel haven’t ruled it out as a future possibility. They are currently focused on their own projects though, with Emily’s CBS sitcom being renewed for a second season amid her split from now-ex-husbandJack Anthony and Haley Joel making a guest appearance on Peacock’s Poker Face.
“I’ve had the opportunity several times to go on a show that I had just enjoyed as a fan. What We Do in the Shadows is like that, too. You watch the first season and then a couple of weeks later you’re like, ‘Oh, I’m on the set now,'” Haley Joel told Us. “That is kind of a fun experience. But I love Natasha [Lyonne]’s work and everybody involved with this show is so cool. I love a murder mystery and gory stuff, too. It’s cool being a part of that atmosphere.”
Haley Joel’s upcoming episode pairs him off with Taylor Schilling and Justin Theroux, which he teased to Us, saying, “Everybody was great. We had a really fun lineup in our episode and getting to work with Natasha after watching her and all of her work for all these years is just really exciting because she’s such a creative person.”
He concluded: “I play a social media influencer entrepreneur bro who is getting married but he’s using the wedding to advertise an energy drink he just came up with. He’s kind of on thin ice with the rest of the wedding party.”
Poker Face season 2 premieres on Peacock Thursday, May 8.
