Saquon Barkley put up more ridiculous numbers in the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFC Championship victory over the Washington Commanders on Sunday night, leading to jabs at the New York Giants.
Barkley finished with 118 rushing yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns. Both scores came in the first quarter – one was a 60-yard scamper that got Eagles fans buzzing early.
As the Eagles celebrated getting to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years, NFL fans mocked the Giants for letting Barkley go in the offseason.
New York chose to re-sign Daniel Jones to a four-year contract before the 2023 season and gave Barkley a one-year deal. Before the 2024 start, the Giants let Barkley walk to free agency, much to the chagrin of Giants fans. He decided to sign with one of their archrivals.
Tom Brady and the rest of the NFL world made sure to let the Giants know they made a huge mistake.
"Giant mistake letting him go," Brady said during the FOX broadcast.
In Barkley’s first season with Philadelphia, he nearly ran for the most yards in a single season. He may have gotten the record, but he was held out of the Eagles’ last game of the season to rest for the playoffs. It turned out to be a crucial move as he has yet to let his foot off of the gas pedal in the postseason.
He has 442 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns in three playoff games so far.
The Eagles will play the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
A driver in Philadelphia hit and injured three pedestrians in a crowd of people after the Eagles’ NFC Championship win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday, police said.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, was in custody. Philadelphia police said the incident didn’t immediately appear to be intentional. The victims reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
"Auto Vs. Pedestrians crash at Broad and Spring Garden – driver of vehicle is in custody. Does not appear intentional at this time," police said in a post on X.
The driver struck the crowd near the City Center area around 9:30 p.m. ET – a few hours after the game was finished at Lincoln Financial Field.
Hundreds of Eagles fans flocked to the street to celebrate the Eagles win. Fans were seen on top of cars, shooting off fireworks and climbing the greased light poles.
The Eagles defeated the Commanders, 55-23, behind big-time plays from running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Police warned fans ahead of time about precautions taken before the game – whether the team won or lost. Authorities announced road closures, safety precautions and the greasing of light poles.
"Don’t climb the poles, greased or not greased, please don’t climb the poles, because you could break the poles and that’s expensive, and it’s money we could spend on other things," Philadelphia’s managing director Adam Thiel said, via FOX 29 Philadelphia.
Taylor Swift was seen entering Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs in their effort to make history and compete for a third straight Super Bowl championship.
Swift was far from the focal point of the contest as the Chiefs topped the Buffalo Bills. The CBS broadcast showed her reacting to a big play in the game along with at least two shots of her hanging out with her mother, Andrea, and Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna.
The next time Swift was shown was on the field as she and Donna watched Travis celebrate the team’s third consecutive conference title. Cameras also caught the two lovebirds sharing a few kisses in the mix of the celebration.
Swift was a major focus for the NFL and broadcasts during the 2023 season as she and the Chiefs’ star tight end announced themselves to the world as a couple. The "Swift Effect" was real, and her fandom drew an increase in viewership for the game.
However, Swift herself expressed some dismay with the attention she received in a 2023 interview with Time magazine.
"I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in," she said. "There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.
"I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads," she added, referencing the hype that came with her appearances – good and bad.
This season, Swift was seen at Arrowhead Stadium a few times, but she also had to continue with her "Eras Tour." When the Chiefs were off, she and Kelce were spotted in New York City having dinner multiple times.
Now, Swift is likely to be back for the big game when Super Bowl LIX heads down to New Orleans.
Philadelphia Eagles fans poured into the streets on Sunday night and celebrated the team’s NFC Championship win and impending Super Bowl appearance.
It is the second appearance in three years for the Eagles. This time, the Eagles pummeled the Washington Commanders behind scoring from Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts. Both players elevated the Eagles to the upper stratosphere as they won the game, 55-23.
As soon as the clock hit triple zeroes, the party moved from Lincoln Financial Field to Broad Street in Philadelphia. Views from overhead showed hundreds of fans in the streets, climbing on light poles and shooting off fireworks.
Philadelphia officials were ready regardless of the outcome. Law enforcement issued safety precautions, closed roads and greased light poles in preparation for either a celebration or defeat, according to FOX 29 Philadelphia.

The Eagles will now have a Super Bowl LVII rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. The game will take place on Fox and can be streamed on Tubi.
Philadelphia will look to prevent history from being made as the Chiefs go for three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
The Kansas City Chiefs once again saw confetti falling in their favor in a crucial game, as they won the AFC Championship for the third straight season to give themselves a chance at Super Bowl history in New Orleans next month.
On the other sideline, the Buffalo Bills were gutted when they saw Samaje Perine run for the first down necessary to seal the 32-29 victory.
After the game, quarterback Josh Allen let his feelings out when asked about his emotions following yet another loss to the Chiefs in the postseason.
"It’s just not fun," he said after letting out a sigh. "But to be the champs, you got to beat the champs, and we didn’t do it tonight."
Allen is now 0-4 against the Chiefs in the postseason, so the regular season victory over Kansas City at the Bills' Highmark Stadium does not matter in the end for this squad or its quarterback.
However, the ball was in Allen’s hands to change that winless streak late in the fourth quarter. However, with the two-minute warning and fourth-and-5 on the scoreboard, the Chiefs dialed up the perfect pressure, and Allen launched a prayer downfield to tight end Dalton Kincaid.
It hit his arms but went incomplete. Then, with the Bills down three points, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs knew a couple of first downs equaled another Super Bowl trip.
"They gave a good look," Allen said when asked what he saw before that fourth-down snap. "Didn’t see anything in my first cadence. They were sliding left, the corner came…yeah."
There was not much else Allen could say just minutes after falling just short again at the Bills’ first trip to the Super Bowl since 1993. However, Mahomes was classy after the game, giving kudos to Allen during his speech while hoisting the AFC title trophy.
"I have so much respect for Josh, man," he said to CBS Sports’ Jim Nantz. "He’s a true competitor, a true warrior, a great football player. They always come down to the wire. Luckily, we were on the winning side this time. I’m excited to get down to New Orleans. Let’s go make history."
The Bills wanted to be looking at one more game to hopefully give the franchise its first-ever Super Bowl – they infamously lost four straight from 1990-93 – but they will have to go back to the drawing board with the offseason starting to see if they can change that in 2025.
Allen could be getting a massive personal accolade, as he is an MVP finalist and expected to be a frontrunner alongside Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson for their work during the 2024 campaign.
However, Allen will say he does not care about individual achievements right now. His Bills lost, again at the hands of the Chiefs, and they will have months to stew over it before a new season begins.
"You can either get it done, or you can’t. We didn’t get it done," Allen said.
Conor McGregor on Saturday ripped pro-Hamas and pro-Hezbollah demonstrators who raised the terrorist groups’ flags in a rally that took place in Ireland.
McGregor's social media post came as Hamas released four female hostages as part of a ceasefire deal with Israel. McGregor appeared to be enraged over the rally.
"To raise the flag of a terrorist organization on Irish soil must become a major crime in the eyes of our state," he wrote in a post on X. "It will not be tolerated nor lauded!
"Raise a country flag, off your own person, and off of government buildings, yes, no problem. Raise the flag of radicalized terror organizations off of the same.. Big problem."
One of McGregor’s biggest rivals, Khabib Nurmagomedov, praised Ireland on Saturday for being pro-Palestinian. His remarks came as he saw his cousin Usman Nurmagomedov defeat Irishman Paul Hughes for the Bellator’s lightweight championship.
"I know this is not my time to talk, I just want to say one thing," Khabib Nurmagomedov said, via Bloody Elbow. "With all the things between me and [Conor McGregor] when we were fighting. Don’t forget, Ireland is the biggest supporter in the world for Palestine. Don’t forget about this. We love you guys! You, your government, everybody.
"When we’re inside the cage, it’s only competition. MMA, all about respect. We love you guys because you guys support our brother[s] in Palestine."
Later Sunday, Israel and Hamas reached a deal to release hostages and allow Palestinians to return to the Gaza Strip.
NFL officiating was a talking point in the midst of the biggest game of the year between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night in the AFC Championship.
The Bills were stuck with a 4th-and-1 with about 13 minutes to play in the game. Josh Allen ran a quarterback sneak to try to achieve first-down yardage. At first glance, the push from his teammates appeared to be unsuccessful in getting a new set of downs.
The game was stopped as officials reviewed the play. The CBS broadcast appeared to show the two sideline judges initially disagreeing with the spot of the ball. One official spotted the ball closer to the marker than the other.
The replay appeared to show Allen may have gotten the ball across the line as he inched backward into Chiefs defensive linemen. However, officials ruled that Allen did not get the ball to the marker, and Buffalo turned the ball over.
NFL fans watching the game were highly critical of the ball spot and expressed it as much during the game.
The Chiefs scored on the following drive. Buffalo did tie the game on the next possession. However, it was Harrison Butker’s field goal and a Chiefs defensive stop that put an end to the game.
The Allen stop was not the only questionable call in the game. A huge Xavier Worthy play in the second quarter was ruled a catch despite the ball seemingly touching the ground.
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are on the cusp of NFL history, as they cemented yet another trip to the Super Bowl with an AFC Championship win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
As he drank in another successful campaign that got him back to the "Big Game," Mahomes had to first tap into his faith during a post-game interview.
"First off, I want to give all glory to God," he told CBS Sports' Tracy Wolfson after the 32-29 thriller that went the Chiefs' way at home. "Without Him, none of this is possible, and I truly mean that."
Mahomes then showed all the love to his team as they gave just as much as he did to make this chance at history happen.
"I’m just so proud of my teammates and how they responded. That was a great football team. I’m just at a loss for words. I’m excited for New Orleans," he said.
It seems, even three times in a row, the feeling of going to the Super Bowl never gets old for the NFL superstar.
The Chiefs found themselves going back and forth with the Bills all game long. Mahomes' second touchdown run of the game was after a crucial fourth-down stop by the defense, yet Josh Allen and the Bills' offense responded with a fourth-and-goal touchdown of their own in the fourth quarter to tie it at 29 apiece.
Mahomes and the Chiefs were ultimately able to drive deep enough into Bills territory that Harrison Butker made it 32-29 with a field goal, but it was on the defense to get a stop against Allen, who previously beat them in the regular season.
That is exactly what happened on fourth-and-5, as Allen heaved one in the air after a well-timed Chiefs blitz and his tight end, Dalton Kincaid, could not haul it in. Mahomes, then, got first downs thanks to Isiah Pacheco and Samaje Perine, his veteran backs, both moving the chains on short passes to ice the victory.
Those efforts on both sides of the ball are why Mahomes pointed to how much of this was a team effort yet again to reach the Super Bowl.
"I think I’ve always said it, it’s not about one guy, it’s not about a couple guys," he said. "It’s about the whole entire team. When we needed the defense to get stops, they got stops. Offense, we made plays. That’s why we’re so special. It’s a team effort, and it’s a team football game."
As he hoisted yet another AFC title trophy, Mahomes gave a shout-out to the fan base as well for being boisterous as always to help give them the home field advantage before it's neutral ground at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
"I appreciate Chiefs Kingdom for being out here, being loud and proud. We love you, Chiefs Kingdom."
It is a rematch of Super Bowl LVII, which started this Chiefs' dynasty as they beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35, late in the fourth quarter. Mahomes won his second Super Bowl of his career in that game after previously beating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.
However, the Eagles have a difference maker this time, with Saquon Barkley scoring three touchdowns, along with quarterback Jalen Hurts, in the rout of the Washington Commanders to win the NFC Championship earlier on Sunday.
It is bound to be a thriller in New Orleans, and Mahomes will have the brightest football spotlight on him and the Chiefs yet again as they hope to etch their names in the NFL history books.

The Kansas City Chiefs held off the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship Game, 32-29, in an absolute thriller at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.
The Chiefs will now have a shot at NFL history, as they can become the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls if they can defeat the Philadelphia Eagles again.
The Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII over the Eagles in Arizona during the 2022 season.
Meanwhile, Josh Allen and the Bills are now 0-4 against the Chiefs in the postseason despite giving them one of their two losses during the 2024 regular season.
A brilliant NFC Championship performance from Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on Sunday led one Dallas Cowboys great to troll the New York Giants for letting him go, a storyline that has been used all season.
But Giants defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux didn't appreciate Dez Bryant's posts on X, leading to some public beef as they went back and forth.
Barkley scored three touchdowns on the ground in the Eagles' 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders to punch their ticket to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
Bryant fired off a tweet as Barkley was dicing up the Commanders, poking the Giants for letting the star running back walk away in free agency and eventually signing with the division rival Eagles.
"The Giants have got to be sick; I don’t care what anyone says," Bryant posted, with a laughing emoji.
Thibodeaux saw the tweet come from Bryant hours after posting it, but he wasted no time jabbing at Bryant about his lack of championships in his own career.
"We got the same amount of SB (Super Bowls)," Thibodeaux quote tweeted over Bryant’s initial post.
Bryant answered five minutes later and didn’t hold back his thoughts about the Giants.
"That’s a fact but I had a grat career and I’m in the record [book emoji]..sooooooo….I’m good with that!" Bryant said.
"You guys let go of the best player in the NFL this year and the GM son told him straight in his face to draft Jayden Daniels. You shouldn’t be addressing me you should be addressing your dumb ass GM…"
That was just the start of it for these two as Thibodeaux added, "I’m shooting on any old head mentioning the Giants from here on out." But that led to more from Bryant.
"The only player over there who’s (sic) legit is Malik Nabers…Other than that, sorry to break it to you buddy, you guys are awful," Bryant said. "Cut all of that political shit out! ..You better hope they don’t trade your ass the way you’re hyping…Pipe down buddy…I bet not see you looking for a trade or cut."
Thibodeaux attempted to cool the tension, but Bryant continued.
Thibodeaux obliged, asking the former receiver, "Why haven’t you retired?" He also implied Bryant, 36, would answer the call from Giants GM Joe Schoen if he asked him to work out for a roster spot.
"I bet you show up," Thibodeaux said.
"This how I know..you don’t know..," Bryant responded. "One day we’ll rap in person! Im far off the spectrum! I’m here to put you guys on game…I hate you misinterpreted my tweet…I’m done going back and forth..I pray you have a successful career."
One NFL fan eventually asked what the two were beefing about.
"Everybody think they can say something about a team I represent….not on my watch," Thibodeaux responded with a laughing emoji. "Till I’m not longer a Giant ima (sic) stand in bidness (sic)."
Thibodeaux was the Giants’ fifth overall pick out of Oregon in the 2022 NFL Draft, and after posting 11.5 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in a breakout 2023 campaign, he regressed on the stat sheet with 5.5 sacks and 28 combined tackles compared to 50 the year prior. He also played just 12 games in 2024.
Meanwhile, Bryant, the three-time Pro Bowler, played nine seasons in the NFL, eight of which came with the Cowboys, where he totaled 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns over 113 games. He played his final NFL season in 2020 with the Baltimore Ravens, playing in six games in which he had six catches for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
The Kansas City Chiefs received a favorable call late in the first half of the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
On 3rd-and-5 with 3:13 left in the second quarter, Patrick Mahomes scrambled and found just enough space to throw up a ball to Xavier Worthy. The rookie wide receiver and Bills safety Cole Bishop both leaped for the ball. It appeared Bishop may have gotten the ball while he was in the air, but Worthy managed to get his arm around it as they came down the ground.
The officials ruled that Worthy had completed the catch, and it was the Chiefs’ ball instead of an interception for the Bills. Buffalo was also called for a holding penalty, so it was unlikely the ball would have gone back to them.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott challenged whether it was a completed catch. The replay appeared to show the tip of the football hitting the ground. But still, the play was ruled a catch.
A few plays later, the Chiefs scored on a Patrick Mahomes touchdown run. Kansas City had a 21-10 lead.
NFL fans were quick to point out that the questionable call went in the favor of the Chiefs.
NFL officials’ alleged favoritism toward the Chiefs was in the spotlight over questionable calls in their divisional round win over the Houston Texans.
"I don’t feel that way," he said. "… I just try to play football at the end of the day. The referees are doing their best to call the game as fair and proper as best they can.
"For me, it's go out there, play hard, try to do whatever I can to win the football game and then live with the results based on my effort and how I play the game, and that's what we preach here in Kansas City."
In the words of Yogi Berra, it’s déjà vu all over again. This time it may have cut New Yorkers a bit deeper.
The Empire State Building lit up in green to support the Philadelphia Eagles in their win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship on Sunday night. Saquon Barkley, who previously played for the NFC East rival New York Giants until the 2024 season, ran for two touchdowns.
The landmark’s X account showed the video of the building going up in green.
"I’m sorry I have to do this," the post read. "Shining in @Eagles colors in honor of their NFC Championship win."
The account made clear it was going to light up in the colors of whoever won the AFC Championship as well, but it didn’t appear to matter so much. Fans criticized the building for being lit up in colors to support Philadelphia’s NFL team, seeing it as a betrayal to the city.
The Empire State Building showed support for the Eagles two years ago when the team defeated the San Francisco 49ers to make it to the Super Bowl LVII. The building also lit up red for the Chiefs as they won the AFC Championship that year.
For what it’s worth, New York’s football teams haven’t had much to be happy about in a very long time.
The Giants, after letting Barkley go in free agency, finished the 2024 season 3-14. They have one playoff appearance in the last eight seasons.
The New York Jets finished the season 5-12. The Jets haven’t been to the playoffs since the 2010 season.
The Bills are looking to take over as the pride of New York. But they need to get past the Chiefs first.
The Philadelphia Eagles are back in the Super Bowl after the dynamic duo of Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley combined for six rushing touchdowns in the 55-23 beatdown of the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
Philadelphia will wait to see who will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LIX, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills get underway in the Midwest on Sunday night.
Hurts and the Eagles were in the "Big Game" in 2022, where they lost to the Chiefs in Arizona. But what the Eagles didn't have then was Barkley, the NFL's leading rusher in 2024, and he showed why he might be the missing piece to win the Vince Lombardi after an incredible performance at home.
On just the first offensive snap for the Eagles in this game, following an 18-play Commanders opening drive that ended with a field goal, Barkley ripped off a 60-yard touchdown run to immediately put the Eagles up 7-3 after the extra point.
The Commanders’ response wasn’t a good one, as receiver Dyami Brown fumbled after a Zack Baun punch while tackling his opponent. And unfortunately for Washington, fumbles became a bad trend throughout this game.
The last time these two teams played, the Commanders turned the ball over five times. However, Jayden Daniels and the Commanders ended up winning on a last-second drive in a 22-point fourth quarter.
But the comeback didn’t happen this time with the turnovers, as Jeremy McNichols fumbled on a kick return near the end of the first half, and Austin Ekeler fumbled in the second half.
And all of those turnovers led to touchdowns.
Barkley scored from four yards out after the Brown fumble, and Hurts got his first tush push score of the game to make it 20-12 near halftime, he found A.J. Brown for his only passing touchdown of the content to take a solid 27-12 lead into the locker room.
The second half, though, is where things unraveled for Dan Quinn’s Commanders, as Hurts’ second touchdown on the ground was a nine-yard score in the third quarter to make it 35-14. And despite Daniels scoring on the ground himself to cut the lead a bit, Ekeler’s fumble saw another tush push touchdown for Hurts to make it three on the night.
With desperation on their sideline, Quinn had no choice but to force Daniels to go for it on every fourth down as the fourth quarter began, and Nolan Smith’s sack on fourth-and-11 ultimately led Barkley to his third touchdown with a four-yard run, which basically sealed the deal at 48-23.
The last-ditch effort from Daniels in the fourth was a deep ball down the left sideline to Terry McLaurin, who scored a 36-yard touchdown earlier in the game, but it was intercepted in the end zone by rookie Quinyon Mitchell.
The cherry on top for Philadelphia was, with the backups in the game, Will Shipley scoring a touchdown from two yards out after ripping a 57-yard run earlier in the drive.
Celebrations ensued for the home team, and rightfully so after incredible performances from Hurts (20-for-28 for 246 yards), Barkley (15 rushes for 118 yards) and Brown (six catches for 96 yards).
For the Commanders, Zach Ertz, the former Eagles tight end, certainly did his part with 11 catches for 104 yards. Daniels finished 29-for-48 for 255 yards, while rushing for 48 yards on six carries.
The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders were more than just division rivals on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field as they played for a spot in Super Bowl LIX.
But one thing both fan bases could agree on was how great the national anthem performance was before the game.
Fans took to social media to voice their love for the patriotic scene that involved an actual Eagle, a brilliant rendition by Mark Kate Morrissey, who plays Elphaba in Broadway’s "Wicked," and fighter jets doing a flyover.
"I’m not an Eagles fan but their national anthem is the absolute best with the bald eagle flying in the stadium," one X user wrote. "It can’t get any better."
"Absolutely beautiful!" another one added.
An American flag the size of the football field was displayed by numerous fans, creating a perfect wide shot of the whole scene before the two teams got to work on the gridiron.
But the live eagle flying around the stadium from one trainer to another while Morrissey reached the climax of "The Star-Spangled Banner" was talked about the most on social media.
"Not an Eagles fan but DAMN…that Bald Eagle flying during the singing of the National Anthem brought tears of pride to my eyes," another X user said.
As Morrissey finished singing, four F-16s from the 177th Fighter Wing flew over the stadium, putting the cherry on top of the patriotic scene.
Things got off to a hot start for the Eagles faithful in this game, too, as the home team saw star running back Saquon Barkley score two touchdowns in the first quarter, including one on the Eagles’ first offensive snap of the game to take a commanding lead from the start.
Many teams pull out all the stops for their national anthems during the season, but fans believe the Eagles are the cream of the crop after what transpired in this conference championship game.
The Washington Commanders fumbled the ball away for their third turnover of the NFC Championship against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and some chaos ensued as Saquon Barkley got the team down to the goal line.
Barkley busted free for a 22-yard run on the third play of the drive and got the Eagles within one yard of adding to their lead.
Jalen Hurts tried to break into the end zone but was stopped. Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was called for a defensive offsides. Then, after getting stopped, Washington committed three straight penalties to try to stop what they knew was coming.
Commanders linebacker Frankie Luvu tried to jump the play two straight times. He was called for encroachment penalties. Then Allen was called for encroachment. The Commanders were then warned that officials could reward the Eagles with a score if they purposely kept trying to jump the play and pick up a penalty.
After Allen’s foul, Hurts was able to get pushed into the end zone for his fourth touchdown of the game. Philadelphia went up 41-23 with 12:24 to go in the game.
Hurts had the Eagles rolling all game long. He ran the ball into the end zone three times and threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver A.J. Brown earlier in the game.
Taylor Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium dressed in a black jacket with gold Louis Vuitton lettering as she got set to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills later on Sunday.
Swift also wore a black Louis Vuitton beanie, a black skirt and red tights as she was seen in the tunnel before she went up to her suite to watch the game with her crew.
The pop star has been at a few Chiefs games this season between some breaks in between her "Eras Tour." But now that the tour is over, Swift is back in her place at Arrowhead Stadium leading the Chiefs Kingdom in their support for Kelce and company.
Last week, Swift was seen sitting with Caitlin Clark as the Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans. The Indiana Fever star is a massive Chiefs fan. They were seen celebrating Kelce’s touchdown in the second half of the game.
Kansas City is hoping to do the unthinkable: win three consecutive Super Bowl titles. No NFL team has accomplished the feat since the league merged with the American Football League.
Swift was right by the Chiefs’ side during last year’s playoff run, which included a divisional-round victory against the Bills.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and Washington Commanders defensive back Marshon Lattimore had to be pulled apart as they got into a brouhaha in the NFC Championship on Sunday.
The incident occurred after Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ran into the end zone for a touchdown from the 1-yard line with under 2 minutes to play in the first half. Off to the right, Brown and Lattimore locked horns.
The two players were pushing each other in the helmet. Brown pushed Lattimore’s helmet off his face. Lattimore was penalized for unnecessary roughness, and it gave the Eagles a great opportunity for a 2-point try. However, Washington locked in and stopped Hurts’ sneak.
No other player was penalized for the flare-up.
Lattimore is a four-time Pro Bowler. Washington acquired him in a trade with the New Orleans Saints in the middle of the season. He appeared in two games for the Commanders during the regular season and had three pass-breakups.
Lattimore is a fiery competitor. He’s been seen in multiple skirmishes with Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Mike Evans as the two players competed during NFC South rivalry games when the cornerback was on the Saints.
Brown, Lattimore’s foe in this skirmish, ended up scoring on the Eagles’ following drive. He caught a 4-yard pass from Hurts to push Philadelphia’s lead even higher.
He went into the half leading Philadelphia in receiving with four catches for 61 yards and the touchdown.
The Buffalo Bills' eccentric wide receiver Mack Hollins did much more than just walk into a stadium barefoot again on Sunday ahead of the AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Hollins showed up at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium wearing a full "Animal" costume, a beloved Muppets character, and it included a big, red head.
Hollins also wore a red-and-yellow crop top shirt and beige cutoffs just like Animal.
It might be Chiefs colors, but Animal is known for being wild and unpredictable when playing for the fictional "Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem" band.
Perhaps that’s the type of mindset Hollins has entering enemy territory, wanting to be an animal to help his Bills reach the Super Bowl.
Hollins has turned heads by showing up in freezing cold temperatures on game day without any shoes or socks.
He’s a big advocate of "grounding," also known as earthing, where you walk with bare feet to connect to the planet’s natural electrical charge. It provides a therapeutic release for many.
Hollins also has a growing social presence, especially on TikTok, where he shares homecare tips, fun science projects for kids, and more.
But Hollins’ primary focus is making this latest chapter of the Bills-Chiefs rivalry have a happy ending for his squad.
The Chiefs head into their home field advantage as the favorites to reach the Super Bowl for the third straight season, with hopes of becoming the first team in league history to win three straight Vince Lombardi trophies.
Meanwhile, Josh Allen and the Bills want to finally get their shot at the Super Bowl, which would be the first time Buffalo reaches the "Big Game" in 31 years.
Allen is one that sprays the ball around the field, and Khalil Shakir is usually the security blanket for him in the pass game. Hollins, though, provides a big-body presence, especially in the red zone.
In these playoffs, Hollins has one catch on two targets in each game. During the regular season, he had five touchdowns on his 31 receptions for 378 yards.
University of South Carolina athletics said Sunday it suspended the DJ who played a song to troll the LSU Tigers women’s basketball team and its star Flau’jae Johnson after the Gamecocks’ win in their pivotal matchup.
No. 2 South Carolina topped No. 5 LSU, 66-56, on Friday night. The Gamecocks’ win ended the Tigers’ undefeated streak to start the season.
South Carolina’s official DJ, DJ T.O., played the instrumental version of Camoflauge’s "Cut Friends." Camoflauge was shot and killed in Savannah, Georgia, outside Pure Pain Records while he was walking his son. He is the father of Flau’jae Johnson and the shooting occurred six months before she was born, according to NOLA.com.
DJ T.O. reshared someone’s post about the song on Instagram and wrote "My bad" with a cry-laughing emoji.
Flau’jae is a rapper in her own right and has dedicated her career to her late father. She called out the DJ on X.
"I’ll take my L on the chin, but this just nasty behavior. Nun funny bout that," Johnson wrote on Saturday.
South Carolina then addressed the incident.
"We are addressing Friday night’s inappropriate in-game song selection and subsequent Instagram post by the DJ who is hired to work our women’s basketball games," the school said. "Her actions were understandably upsetting to Flau’jae Johnson and her family and disrespectful to the LSU program and fans. Conference rivalries and passionate fan bases should only serve to enhance sports, not be used to target individual players personally.
"We regret that it came to that in our venue after a game that saw both teams capture the level of national attention that women’s basketball has earned and we apologize to Flau’jae, her family and LSU.
"As a result of her actions, DJ T.O. will be suspended for the next women’s basketball home game, and we will meet with her to provide further education on our expectations of her in the future."
Barkley found a hole, broke one tackle and spun around a Commanders defender to run for a 60-yard touchdown. Philadelphia went up 7-3 early in the first quarter.
Jayden Daniels led Washington on an 18-play, 54-yard drive to begin the game. The Commanders made two fourth-down conversions before Zane Gonzalez nailed a 34-yard field goal. On Washington’s next drive, the Eagles defense caused wide receiver Dyami Brown to fumble and Philadelphia recovered.
The Eagles and their fans were buzzing at Lincoln Financial Field. The NFL world was just as hyped on social media.
Barkley wasn't done. He scored again later in the first quarter as the Eagles went up 14-3.
Barkley appeared to be building upon his incredible performance in the Eagles’ divisional round win over the Los Angeles Rams. He had two long touchdown runs in the win to go along with his 205 rushing yards. Philadelphia won the game 28-22.
The former New York Giants running back has run for at least 100 yards in four straight games and nearing a fifth straight game. The streak dated back to Philadelphia’s three-point loss to Washington on Dec. 22.
The winner of the NFC Championship will punch their ticket to Super Bowl LIX.
