  • In 2024, vintage watches and expensive alarm clocks were the epitome of luxury.
  • This year, however, $600 calendars and stained-glass lamps have become the new status symbols.
  • Giant tote bags from Coach and oval-shaped Miu Miu glasses also signify luxury and taste in 2025.

A new year calls for fresh routines, lofty goals, and the latest luxuries.

While 2024 was all about vintage watches and expensive alarm clocks, different status symbols are taking over in 2025.

Home decor is now all about stained-glass lamps and $600 calendars. Fashionable outfits, on the other hand, aren't complete without giant tote bags and fancy glasses.

Here's a closer look at the luxurious products you'll see everywhere — and probably be tempted to buy — this year.

Everyone wants to elevate their spaces with stained-glass Tiffany lamps.

If you watched any Christmas gift hauls on TikTok recently, there's a good chance you've heard more than a few mentions of Tiffany lamps.

The stained-glass pieces were first made by Louis Comfort Tiffany, the original design director of Tiffany & Co., in the late 1890s.

His style became so popular that other artisans picked it up, and it has remained an interior design staple. Now, most colorful glass lamps are called "Tiffany" lamps, regardless of the craftsman who made them.

To add one to your home this year, you can buy a Tiffany lamp from a modern artisan or search thrift stores for a vintage one. However, if you want an authentic piece from Tiffany Studios, be prepared to spend between $20,000 and $120,000.

All the "it girls" are carrying oversize tote bags from Coach.

Coach has massively rebounded in recent years thanks to its new trendy purse styles, flashy social-media ads, and a loyal Gen Z fan base.

So, of course, the go-to bag for 2025 is a style from the New York City brand: the Brooklyn 39 shoulder bag.

Typically made from smooth leather, the totes are sold in seven colors and measure 17 inches tall. Some fans of the $495 bags include TikTok fashion influencers and model Bella Hadid.

Coach also offers a brown suede version of the product.

Whether you need glasses or not, you'll probably want a pair of Miu Miu frames soon enough.

We've long surpassed the days when glasses were considered nerdy and unappealing. Still, some pairs are more chic than others.

Enter the Miu Miu Regard frames. At $505 a piece, the oval glasses are decorated with a tortoiseshell print and set with transparent lenses, which are said to block the sun and blue light.

Adding to the appeal is the fact that the Miu Miu acessory looks more like a pair of traditional readers than sunglasses, which they technically are.

If you need more convincing, just look at Sabrina Carpenter wearing them.

Car air fresheners are out, and fancy scent diffusers are in.
A Pura Car Pro air freshener.
With these diffusers, you can fill your car with luxurious scents from brands like Nest.

Pura

Classic, tree-shaped air fresheners are convenient. You can find them at just about any store, and they typically cost under $3 each.

The Pura Car Diffuser, on the other hand, takes things to the next level. The $34.99 device fits in most cupholders, plugs into car USB ports, and releases luxury scents from brands like Anthropologie and Nest.

Each cartridge costs under $18 and is said to remain fragrant for at least 30 days. You can also adjust scent intensity via an app, and the diffuser stops and starts as you move your car.

Talk about high tech.

iPads have made a comeback.

On TikTok, it seems like everyone got a new iPad for the holidays.

For a while there, iPads seemed a lot like glorified, oversize iPhones. In 2025, however, the tablets are key to organization and success.

Since the holiday season, people on TikTok have been showcasing their new tech and, more importantly, the apps and features they'll use most in the new year.

One popular video with over 32,000 views shows customized calendars, vision boards, and notepads with the caption, "2025 iPad girl loading."

There are a few iPads on the market, but the two most popular options are the 13-inch iPad Pro ($1,299) and the 13-inch iPad Air ($799).

Paper calendars are fine, but digital ones from Skylight are far more lavish.
The Calendar Max from Skylight.
The most popular Skylight calendars cost between $300 and $600 each.

Skylight

Maybe iPads are too small for your liking, or maybe their surplus of apps distracts you from staying organized.

That's where Skylight comes in. For months, people have praised the brand's digital calendars on TikTok, saying they appreciate the product's touchscreen checklists, color-coding options, and massive size.

The calendars also double as frames, displaying slideshows of your favorite photos as a screensaver.

However, if you want to add one to your home, be prepared to spend a decent chunk of change. The calendars cost between $159 and $599 each.

You'll likely see Rhode's gray skincare bottles on every bathroom counter.

Rhode is on track to become the "it girl" of skincare brands for 2025.

Rhode

Hailey Bieber launched her skincare brand Rhode in 2022, and it's been a steady player in the beauty industry ever since.

Her line's lip treatments and phone cases were the skincare status symbols of 2024, but its face products are now set to have a big year.

Beauty lovers have recently been displaying their gray bottles of the brand's $32 glazing milk, $38 moisturizers, and other products in their recent TikTok videos. Rhode was also a major part of many "what I got for Christmas" hauls online.

Many are also looking forward to coming releases, which some fans speculate will include eye patches and skincare sticks.

You can skip the line at Starbucks if you have a fancy espresso maker at home.

Nothing makes the coffee-brewing process as easy as a touchscreen does.

Terra Kafe

So, what's the machine of choice this year? Look no further than Terra Kaffe's TK-02. Many coffee fanatics got the device as holiday presents to upgrade their daily espresso.

The $1,695 device is sold in black and white colorways and has a touchscreen that makes it easy to brew your morning cup even when you're half asleep.

It makes hot and cold drinks, works with all kinds of milk, and utilizes pre-ground or whole beans.

If you don't have a KitchenAid mixer, now is the time to get one.

KitchenAid

Visit any baker or chef's kitchen, and you'll likely find a KitchenAid mixer. One specific one, though, stands out among the rest.

In 2025, foodies can't get enough of the $699.95 KitchenAid Design Series mixer, which features a forest-green body and a wooden mixing bowl.

It's arguably the most aesthetically pleasing design the brand has ever released and is considered a bestseller at Williams Sonoma.

  • Kate Middleton became the Princess of Wales in September 2022.
  • She's shown off different facets of her style while taking on new royal responsibilities.
  • Kate has embraced pantsuits, and for her two public appearances in 2024, she wore chic dresses.

Kate Middleton became the Princess of Wales after Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022.

The mom of three, who celebrated her 43rd birthday on Thursday, has had fun with her fashion since her title changed, showing off a sleeker side of her style.

Following her abdominal surgery and chemotherapy treatment in 2024, Kate made a handful of appearances, and her recent royal looks seemed to blend the best of royal tradition with modern trends.

Business Insider looked back at some of the best ensembles Kate has worn since becoming the Princess of Wales.

Ahead of Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral in September 2022, Kate Middleton and Prince William met with troops who were set to participate.

Middleton wore a black, military-esque coat by Catherine Walker with buttons down its bodice and epaulettes on its shoulders.

She completed the look with a black hat, semi-sheer tights, leather heels, and the late Queen's pearl earrings from her Silver Jubilee.

In December 2022, Kate attended the Christmas Day Service at St. Mary Magdalene Church while wearing a navy-green ensemble.

Her Alexander McQueen coat had a high neckline, multiple pockets, and a long pleated skirt.

She wore it with a handful of accessories in rich tones and textured fabrics, like dark velvet boots, brown leather gloves, and a green, wide-brimmed hat adorned with ribbon.

She also visited Boston, Massachusetts, that month, and showed the more colorful side of her wardrobe.

She wore a burgundy pantsuit designed by Roland Mouret with matching pumps and a baby-pink blouse. The shirt's long bow added a feminine flair to her outfit.

The Prince of Wales wore a blue suit with a red tie, which matched Kate's vibrant red suit.

Alexander McQueen designed her asymmetrical blazer and pleated pants, which she wore with red heels, a matching clutch, and geometric earrings from Chalk.

For the Wales versus England Six Nations rugby game in February 2023, Kate wore a coat that featured the colors of both teams.

Her houndstooth-print Catherine Walker coat was red and white, mirroring the colors of both rugby teams.

The BBC reported that, on the day of the match, the Prince of Wales described his wife's attire as "diplomatic," though she was rooting for England. Her team went on to win the game.

For the Commonwealth Day Service in March 2023, Kate wore a printed set with lots of flair.

Designed by Erdem, her navy-blue outfit included a fitted blazer top with peplum detailing at the waist, and a mermaid-style skirt that flared just above her ankles.

She wore the outfit with velvet pumps and a wide hat.

Rather than wearing true green as most do on St. Patrick's Day, the Princess of Wales opted for a Catherine Walker coatdress in a shade of teal often referred to as "St. Patrick's Blue," as People reported.

The color also matched the plumes the 1st Battalion of Irish Guards wore in their hats. It was a fitting choice for Kate as she inherited the title of Colonel of the battalion from William in December 2022.

She paired the look with coordinating shoes from Gianvito Rossi and a hat designed by Jane Taylor London.

The Waleses marked the full family appearance with coordinating blue ensembles, and Kate chose another Catherine Walker coatdress for the occasion. It had a two-toned lapel and pocket detailing.

A matching hat and nude heels tied the look together.

Designed by Elie Saab, the powder-blue dress had a sheer overlay and was covered in velvet embellishments.

An oversize bow sat on her neck, and a coordinating hat with a large flower completed the ensemble.

Even better, the look was recycled. Kate previously wore it to the 2019 Royal Ascot.

Puffy sleeves and a ruffled neckline gave the navy polka-dot dress from Alessandra Rich a feminine feel.

She paired the look with a white clutch and black-and-white heels.

First worn by the princess to Wimbledon in 2021, the Beulah London dress had short sleeves. Buttons lined the bodice, and it belted at the waist.

White shoes accented the summery outfit, just one of the pink looks she wore over the summer.

The white dress was designed by her go-to designer, Alessandra Rich. Polka dots covered the form-fitting, long-sleeved dress, which cinched at the waist.

A black hat with polka-dot feathering and black-and-white shoes completed the ensemble.

Kate also showed off her curtsying skills at the event.

Kate chose another Beulah London dress for the polo game, which William played in, this time in pale blue.

The long-sleeve dress flowed to Kate's ankles, and it was covered in stripes of floral print.

She paired it with nude heels.

The princess turned to Catherine Walker for her dress in November, when she was ceremonially welcomed by the president and first lady of the Republic of Korea.

The red coatdress flowed past her knee, draping over her arms almost like a wrap. An asymmetrical bow on the gown's collar acted as a modern touch, and coordinating red shoes, a red purse, and a red hat tied the look together.

She attended the "Together at Christmas" celebration with an all-white outfit that looked more Hollywood glam than royal chic in December 2023.

Kate tapped menswear bespoke tailor Chris Kerr for her cream coat, which flowed to her ankles.

She paired the structured coat with a white blouse, matching high-waisted trousers, nude shoes, and a mini-purse. The outfit looked both trendy and timeless.

Jenny Packham designed the knee-length dress Kate donned for Trooping the Colour 2024, which marked her first public appearance of the year. The Princess of Wales announced she was undergoing chemotherapy in March 2024.

The dress was upcycled, as Kate was previously seen wearing it at a luncheon before King Charles' coronation in May 2023. But Packham added a black-and-white bow and altered the belt to give it a second stripe for Trooping the Colour, making it look new.

She paired the dress with a coordinating white hat, pointed-toe heels, and the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch on her lapel to highlight her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

When she made her first solo appearance of the year at Wimbledon in June 2024, Kate wore a purple dress.

Kate attended the men's final of Wimbledon 2024 with Princess Charlotte at her side.

She arrived in a purple dress designed by Safiyaa London. The dress featured cap sleeves, a cinched waist, and a tea-length skirt with pleats. Ruching on the bodice added dynamism to the boatneck bodice, as did a navy brooch shaped like a bow.

Nude shoes and a pair of sunglasses completed the ensemble.

Alexander McQueen designed the double-breasted burgundy coatdress Kate wore to the ceremony, which was the first she attended in 2024.

Her coordinating hat was from Sahar Millinery, and Kate played up the autumnal vibes of her look with brown gloves, a brown Chanel clutch, and brown knee-high boots from Gianvito Rossi.

She chose pearly jewelry to complete the ensemble, including a four-strand choker Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana both wore in the past.

The Prince and Princess of Wales participated in the royal family's annual walk through Sandringham on Christmas with their children, and Prince William, Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte all wore navy ensembles.

Instead of matching her family, Kate donned an emerald green coat from Alexander McQueen with a matching beret from Gina Foster. She wore black boots and gloves with the look, but the standout accessory of her ensemble was her navy and green tartan scarf, which connected her look to her family members' outfits.

It complemented Charlotte's look in particular, as Charlotte's blue coat featured a checked pattern.

  • Kacey Musgraves has evolved her style from Western casual to designer chic.
  • She once wore a mix of colorful jeans, classic cowboy boots, and patriotic tops.
  • Her current wardrobe, however, features more feathered hats and crystal-covered dresses.

On her 2018 album "Golden Hour," Kacey Musgraves famously sings about being "all right with a slow burn" life.

She's seemingly taken the same approach to her fashion, too.

After entering the music scene over a decade ago in colorful jeans and cowboy boots, Musgraves slowly became a fashion superstar.

Now, her wardrobe consists of feathered hats, crystal-covered dresses, and bold accessories.

Here's a look at how her style has evolved over the years.

When Kacey Musgraves entered the music scene, she did so wearing colorful jeans and cowboy boots.

One of her earliest appearances was in 2013 at the SiriusXM Studios in New York City.

She wore red jeans, brown cowboy boots, and a denim button-up shirt for the occasion, creating a casual and classic country look.

Musgraves then accessorized with gold hoop earrings, a silver nose ring, and an assortment of bangles.

She quickly developed a red-carpet style that was feminine and retro.

When Musgraves walked the red carpet at the 2014 CMA Awards, she was photographed wearing a pink, short-sleeved gown designed by Oscar de la Renta.

It had mesh paneling across the neckline and silver sparkles decorating the gown from top to bottom.

However, it was the musician's sky-high hair that stole the show. She wore a '60s-inspired beehive with modern highlights — a style that became her go-to that year.

Musgraves went full Americana with her outfits in 2015.

The outfit she wore to perform at Stagecoach that year is just one example.

For the concert, she wore an American flag bralette, a fringe miniskirt, and blue bedazzled cowboy boots. Her accessories included sparkling tights, oversize hoop earrings, and statement red sunglasses.

It was relaxed, casual, and patriotic — as were many of her ensembles in 2015.

Her former aesthetic was on display at the 2016 CMA Awards, where she wore a custom Christian Siriano ballgown.

The lavender dress was strapless, crafted from tiers of tulle, and completed with a black waistband.

To contrast its elegance, Musgraves wore it with smoky eye makeup and deep-purple lipstick.

The singer experimented with high-fashion designs in 2018.

Musgraves has been wearing designer ensembles since the start of her career. But she took things to another level in 2018, specifically at the CMA Awards.

She walked the red carpet that year in black trousers and a mesh blouse designed by Versace.

The Western-inspired top had only a single button, creating a deep slit in the shirt's center. It was also embellished with gold Swarovski crystals across its sleeves, shoulders, and chest.

The next few years were all about taking fashion risks, leading Musgraves to really come into her own around 2021.

You couldn't miss her when she walked the red carpet at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.

Valentino designed her purple minidress, which was sleeveless, ruched, and complementary to her massive feathered hat.

And the look didn't stop there. She wore see-through sandal heels and red leather gloves that extended over her elbows.

The outfit was bold, fashion-forward, and, most importantly, true to Musgraves' vibrant personality.

Among her fashion signatures are feathers, shades of pink, and bodysuits.

She wore all three at the same time for the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Her Valentino ensemble included a baby-pink catsuit beneath a floor-length feathered cape and pink satin heels that matched both pieces.

Musgraves perfected the look with rosy pink makeup, an updo hairstyle, and minimal jewelry.

Musgraves stayed true to her unique sense of style in 2024.

The most daring looks celebrities have ever worn at the Golden Globes

  • The Golden Globes red carpet has become a must-see event for daring celebrity fashion.
  • In the past, stars like Jennifer Lopez and Anne Hathaway have worn bold, skin-baring styles.
  • More recently, Miley Cyrus stole the show with an eye-catching outfit covered in cutouts.

On the Golden Globes red carpet, just about anything goes.

While some stars stick with glamorous gowns and diamond accessories, others take major fashion risks.

Backless tops, see-through dresses, and neon outfits have all had their moment in the spotlight.

Here's a look at those styles and some of the other boldest pieces ever worn at the prestigious event.

Andie MacDowell wore a skin-baring minidress at the 1991 Golden Globes.

The loose-fitting piece had thin shoulder straps, silver sparkles from top to bottom, and plunging fabric that dipped just above her backside.

It was so bold that MacDowell opted not to wear any dramatic makeup or jewelry — only a touch of red-tinted gloss.

Courtney Love brought her rock-and-roll style to the event in 2000.

She wore a John Galliano for Dior gown designed to look like it had been shredded.

The sleeveless piece had an asymmetrical neckline, tears across its bodice, and a ruched skirt decorated with blue sparkles and a thigh-high slit.

The outfit was memorable and one of the most daring ever seen at the event. Love completed it with silver sparkles dusted across her hair.

Anne Hathaway showed the daring side of her style in 2003.

Dressed by Elie Saab, Hathaway wore a sleeveless gown that was bold in both color and shape.

Its hot-pink fabric was infused with spots of green, and the band beneath its neckline was embellished with small beads.

The garment also featured a deep, square-shaped neckline and a nearly hip-high slit that revealed her metallic sandals.

Two swaths of fabric covered her chest and created a plunging halter neckline, also making way for a backless bodice.

The latter feature emphasized the gown's mid-rise, floor-length skirt.

The garment, made entirely from lace, was see-through and featured a deep V-shaped neckline. Its form-fitting bodice was also connected to its short skirt.

Berry perfected the outfit with simple sandals, an updo hairstyle, and statement earrings.

Instead, she wore only a blazer, crystal body chain, and floor-length skirt from Altuzarra.

The outfit was edgy, daring, and perfectly accessorized. Washington wore the three pieces with strappy sandals, silver jewelry, a short bob haircut, and vibrant red lipstick.

Long before promoting "Wicked," Cynthia Erivo had a neon-green fashion moment at the 2021 event.

She wore a sleeveless, sharply structured Valentino gown. It had a full skirt that hovered above the ground, statement stitching, and pockets on each side of the dress.

Erivo wore it with platform heels and cream-colored gloves that extended over the elbow.

Celine designed her showstopping dress, which had an open back that plunged to her hips and crystal-covered shoulder straps.

It was also daring across its bodice, where the gown had a deep neckline and thin, sparkling slits.

The dress made for an ensemble that was equally daring and chic.

9 celebrity looks from the 2025 Golden Globes that missed the mark — sorry

  • Celebrities walked the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet in Beverly Hills on Sunday night.
  • Unfortunately, a few of those stars missed the mark with their overpowering outfits.
  • Melissa McCarthy and Andrew Scott wore vibrant colors that didn't work for them.

The Golden Globes brings out some of the best red-carpet fashion each year.

Still, there are usually a few misses — even from the most stylish stars.

This year was no different, with actors including Melissa McCarthy and Andrew Scott wearing outfits that were overpowering and missed the mark.

Here's a look at what they wore and a few other ensembles that could've been better.

The color of Demi Moore's dress wasn't quite right for her.

Moore walked the red carpet in a custom Armani Privé gown, which was strapless and crafted from a metallic fabric that shifted between silver and gold.

Unfortunately, the blended shades washed Moore out, and its mermaid-style skirt distracted from its unique, asymmetrical bodice.

Ali Wong's Golden Globes look had too much going on.

Less would have been more for Wong's Golden Globes ensemble this year.

She wore a red Balenciaga gown covered in curled frills and embellished with a satin bow around the waist. Black, over-the-elbow gloves and thick plastic glasses completed the look.

The comedian could have improved her overall outfit by eliminating her arm accessories and swapping her chunky glasses for more delicate ones.

The color of Andrew Scott's suit was a bit too bold.
Andrew Scott attends the 2025 Golden Globes.

Amy Sussman/Getty Images

You couldn't miss Scott when he arrived on the red carpet. The "Ripley" star wore a Vivienne Westwood suit in a vibrant blue shade, a matching tie, and black dress shoes.

His fashion risk was appreciated, and he did stand out among other male celebrities at the event. That said, its color was a bit too bold and reminiscent of a Tiffany and Co. jewelry box.

Kathryn Hahn's look wasn't a good fit for the Golden Globes.

The black long-sleeved top, yellow pleated skirt, and gold buckle belt Hahn wore would have been great for a date or dinner with friends.

However, the outfit was too casual for the prestigious awards ceremony. The same shirt made from shiny silk, a different belt, and a slightly shorter skirt could have elevated the look.

Melissa McCarthy's look would have been stronger as a dress.

Christian Siriano designed McCarthy's two-piece outfit, which included a hot-pink pantsuit and an oversize, ruffled cape.

The baby-pink shade on the latter piece complemented McCarthy and would have looked stunning in the form of a gown. However, the pantsuit and cape combination she wore overpowered the actor.

Anthony Ramos' belt didn't add much to his ensemble.

Ramos arrived in a gray suit that was sharply tailored and looked chic. But there was one thing he could have changed: the non-functional belt that sat wrapped around his waist.

Instead, it would have been fun to see the actor embellish his outfit with a statement brooch, a unique tie, or even a more interesting shirt.

Heidi Klum's look felt like a safe choice for the runway star.

Klum brought her signature, sultry style to the Golden Globes with a strapless green gown. It had a deep neckline, ruched fabric, and diamond-shaped cutouts across its bodice.

Still, the model has worn many similar dresses in the past. It would have been fun to see Klum experiment with something even bolder and more high-fashion this time around.

The cape on Keri Russell's dress was unnecessary.
Keri Russell attends the 2025 Golden Globes.

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images

Stéphane Rolland designed Russell's cream dress to look like a suit, with a plunging neckline and a slit in the center of the skirt mimicking the look of a jacket and pants. Lapel detailing and an oversize belt completed the illusion.

The look was fun, but a layer of straight fabric flowed down from the back, making the dress look boxy and unnaturally stiff. Without the additional fabric on the back, it would have been stronger.

Salma Hayek's dress had a sequin problem.

Hayek chose a burgundy Gucci dress for the Golden Globes. Sequins covered the halter bodice, and the sparkles reappeared on the train, flowing from the form-fitting skirt. She wore a green necklace with the look.

The dress felt disjointed and would have been more cohesive if there were any sparkles on the skirt to connect the bodice and train.

Redmayne's black-and-white look consisted of a checked jacket and pants paired with a cream top. He wore the shirt with the collar popped up and completed the outfit with black shoes.

Taylor Swift's Golden Globes outfits, ranked from least to most daring

  • Taylor Swift has been attending the Golden Globes and its after-parties since 2013.
  • Her stunning ensembles over the years have also included a few bold styles.
  • The most daring was a black, see-through gown designed by Versace.

Taylor Swift has become a staple of the Golden Globe Awards over the past decade.

After attending her first in 2013, the "Tortured Poets Department" musician has made several appearances at following shows and after-parties in stunning fashion.

Here's a look back at every outfit Swift has worn to Golden Globe events, ranked from least to most daring.

She wore a yellow Jenny Packham gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline and a floor-length pleated skirt.

Though the dress was vibrant, its silhouette was extremely simple. Swift paired it with an updo hairstyle and her signature red lipstick.

Her red-and-black gown at the 2014 Golden Globes was a little more fun.

Carolina Herrera designed this strapless look, which had a black bodice and a dramatic, high-waisted red skirt.

Though the dress wasn't daring, it did evoke an old-school Hollywood glamour vibe — especially when paired with Swift's red lipstick and curly updo.

Swift experimented with bold patterns at the 2020 awards show.

Her sleeveless, teal gown was custom-made by Etro. It had a low back, a triangle cutout above its skirt, and an all-over yellow flower print.

The outfit was fresh and bright, and Swift perfected the look with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and a wispy bun.

Swift's plum-colored Donna Karan dress looked elegant from the front, with a square neckline, form-fitting bodice, and mermaid skirt that fanned out around her knees.

But when she turned around, you could see that the dress also had a plunging back and nude-illusion side panels.

Years before entering her "Reputation" era, Swift stunned in a netted black minidress.

Dressed by Gucci, Swift stepped onto the carpet wearing a metallic green gown with daring details.

It had a form-fitting top with cutouts at each side of the chest, a floor-length skirt, and a deep back held together with thin straps.

The outfit was eye-catching and accessorized to perfection. Swift wore it with green Louboutin heels and over $108,000 worth of De Beers earrings.

In addition to being one of her most daring Golden Globes looks, the ensemble was one of the most expensive Swift wore in 2024.

Versace custom-made Swift's sparkling black gown. It had off-the-shoulder straps, a structured bodice with a deep plunge, and a floor-length skirt with a thigh-high slit.

The outfit was bold in shape and fabric, as its mesh-like material was semi-sheer. Swift completed the look with black sandals and diamond earrings.

  • Taylor Swift has become a regular at Kansas City Chiefs games since she started dating Travis Kelce.
  • Her NFL style was initially laid-back, as she appeared in simple sports jackets and sweatshirts.
  • Now, Swift has leaned into luxury and subtle nods to Kelce for her gameday looks.

Taylor Swift made her NFL debut in September 2023, revealing her romance with Travis Kelce in dramatic fashion by supporting him at a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Over a year later, Swift and Kelce still seem to be going strong, and the singer's gameday fashion continues to make headlines.

From standout $70,000 outfits to forgettable athletic looks, here's a look at everything she's worn in her WAG era, ranked from least to most stylish.

Taylor Swift's first gameday outfit was cute but ultimately forgettable.

She made her Arrowhead Stadium debut in studded $190 Ksubi shorts, a white $105 Dôen tank top, and $192 New Balance sneakers — all sold out as of November 2024.

She also sported a vintage Kansas City Chiefs jacket and a $1,305 crescent-shaped earring from Jacquie Aiche.

The same could be said for the leather and denim getup she sported in October 2023.

As the Chiefs battled the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, Swift cheered the team on from a box suite.

Her simple outfit for the occasion included $528 denim shorts with crystal detailing from Area (which have since sold out), a black long-sleeved shirt, and a leather jacket from Gant.

She also accessorized with a $9,250 diamond choker and $1,795 Louboutin boots.

The outfit she wore to a December 2023 game had lots of team spirit but lacked interesting details.

Her Chiefs pullover, for example, was a light-gray shade that didn't stand out in the audience. Her plaid skirt was also understated.

The most interesting aspects of her outfit were the accessories. Swift wore a $598 Mejuri ring with a red stone in the middle and a $35 handmade hat from a local Kansas City artist.

Swift quickly became intentional with her outfit choices.

For a game in October 2023, Swift arrived wearing a red, white, and black jacket covered in Kansas City logos. The $130 piece, which is now sold out, was the work of Wear by Erin Andrews.

Though the jacket wasn't part of her flashiest outfit, Swift undeniably left her mark on the sports anchor's clothing business.

"I started screaming and freaking out and singing all my favorite Swiftie songs. And then yeah, we restocked, and we sold out. And thank you, thank you, Taylor Swift," Andrews told Seth Meyers during an appearance on his show.

Swift paired the outerwear with a $3,190 Balenciaga corset and sold-out Prada boots.

Swift paired a vintage Chiefs sweatshirt from Ellie Mae Studios with a black pleated skirt and loafers.

As usual, she added an assortment of jewelry to elevate her look, including Cartier's $13,400 Juste un Clou necklace. She also wore the $3,600 Heavy Belcher bracelet and the $1,050 Enamel Miniature Medallion from Foundrae, as well as Jacquie Aiche's $5,775 evil-eye bracelet and $4,675 7 Diamond Kate Smooth Bar bracelet.

Swift completed her look with a $21 custom friendship bracelet featuring an 87 in a sweet nod to Kelce, who wore a red plaid shirt after the game that coordinated with Swift's gameday look.

The designer jacket she wore to a game in January screamed luxury.

Rather than wearing team gear, Swift arrived at the sporting event in a white varsity jacket from Gant's collaboration with Kilo Kish.

The high-fashion piece featured stars and other shapes in the Chiefs' signature red, matching Swift's winter beanie and lipstick.

The jacket, which retailed for $1,800, is now sold out.

There was no missing Swift when she arrived at Arrowhead Stadium for a game in November.

She was photographed wearing a vintage, leather Chiefs jacket — a fan said her parents sold it on eBay for $169 — and black shorts from Agolde.

Other pieces included $2,195 Louboutin boots, a $3,900 Dior saddle bag, and a $630 belt from The Row. But it was her gold and diamond accessories that stole the show.

Swift wore $575 Louis Vuitton earrings, a $4,475 Chanel necklace, a $3,150 Louis Vuitton ring, and a $4,150 ring from Retrouvai.

One of Swift's most memorable looks came on Christmas Day.

She attended the holiday Chiefs game alongside her brother Austin, who was dressed as Santa Claus.

Though Swift wasn't in costume, she was dressed with holiday spirit. To complement her Santa hat, which was embroidered with Kelce's jersey number, Swift wore an $895 bomber jacket from Guest in Residence, which has since sold out.

She also sported a now-sold-out Hill House skirt, $35 Sheertex tights, and heeled Prada loafers.

Swift's Super Bowl look was fairly simple, but a slew of symbolic accessories made it stand out.

The base of Swift's look for the 2024 Super Bowl — which the Chiefs won — was all black. She paired Dion Lee's crochet corset top with Area's $695 crystal slit jeans and $1,195 suede ankle boots from Christian Louboutin.

Swift also wore a red Chiefs bomber jacket from WEAR by Erin Andrews, which cost $129. Her accessories also nodded to the Chiefs, like Judith Leiber's red football clutch. The bag is not available in red online, but brown, gold, and pink versions cost $3,995 on the brand's website.

Her $3,325 necklace from Stephanie Gottlieb featured an 87, a nod to Kelce's jersey number. She also wore a diamond tennis choker from the brand, which cost $7,995.

Swift adorned herself with other red jewelry, including two rings from Shahla Karimi, Retrouvai's $4,550 Ruby Magna ring, and The Last Line's $695 diamond-studded Heart Twist earring, which is sold individually.

She also turned to Shay Jewelry for several red pieces, including a $6,800 necklace, the $5,600 Ruby Eternity Band, and a $19,950 bracelet. Jacquie Aiche's $7,150 Sophia Diamond Chain Pavé Ear Cuff and $715 Pavé Diamond Letter Mini Hoop completed her look. Swift wore a "T" hoop, naturally.

Swift's Super Bowl ensemble was simple, but her accessories filled the look with team spirit.

Swift put a more glamorous spin on her NFL style when the Chiefs played the Green Bay Packers in December 2023.

Instead of wearing a sweatshirt or jersey with the Chiefs logo, Swift donned Stella McCartney's $2,400 belted teddy coat for an away game in Wisconsin. The red color was perfect to support the Chiefs.

The rest of Swift's look was black, including her Louis Vuitton mini wrap skirt, which retails for $3,400. She also wore a black mock-neck top with Cartier's Agrafe Herringbone Twisted necklace atop it. The $27,250 necklace featured gold and diamond detailing, matching Swift's $1,400 linked tennis earrings from Vrai.

Stuart Weitzman's $995 thigh-high Vidaland boots completed her ensemble.

Her coordinating Vivienne Westwood set for an October game was among her most high-fashion NFL looks.

The $1,875 off-the-shoulder Sunday corset and $1,010 Meghan kilt from Vivienne Westwood featured a plaid pattern with maroon detailing that subtly nodded to the Chiefs.

Vivienne Westwood also designed Swift's $1,270 Grace boots and $590 Belle Heart-Frame Jacquard bag.

She didn't hold back on her jewelry for the game, wearing over $46,000 worth of it with the look, including her Cartier necklace and $5,680 custom diamond TNT bracelet from Wove that Kelce gave her as a gift.

Jacquie Aiche designed Swift's bracelets: the $4,675 Seven-Diamond Kate Smooth Bar bracelet and the $5,250 evil-eye bracelet. She also wore various rings, including Shahla Karimi's $3,490 Cloud Offset Pear ring and two custom-made ruby-studded rings from Effy Jewelry.

Glitter freckles from Fazit completed her ensemble.

Swift's look for the game between the Chiefs and the Bengals was simple: black pants, a belt, and a black top.

But a white-and-black varsity jacket designed by Jeff Hamilton brought a pop of team spirit to her look. The jacket featured an assortment of patches, including the "KC" arrowhead logo on the front and back, the NFL logo, and a football helmet. Swift's jacket also said "Chiefs" in red lettering.

Her statement jacket was almost identical to a Jeff Hamilton jacket Kelce wore to arrive at the Chiefs game on Christmas 2023, just a week earlier.

Kelce and Swift's jackets were custom, but Hamilton sells a similar jacket for $850 on his website.

Swift subtly paid tribute to her boyfriend with a gold and diamond bracelet last year.

After Kelce and his teammates won the 2024 AFC Championship, Swift joined him on the field to celebrate. There, fans got a closer look at her red and black outfit.

It included a $695 red sweater from Guest in Residence, $2,830 earrings from Wwake, a $6,250 diamond ring from Jacquie Aiche, and $35 Sheertex tights.

But the gold, diamond-embellished tennis bracelet from Wove seemingly had the most sentimental value to Swift.

The brand's founder, Kendall Junck, previously told Business Insider that the bracelet was part of a jewelry collaboration with pro golfer Michelle Wie West, who is friends with Kelce.

She said that when West reached out to gift Kelce some of the pieces, he requested matching bracelets with the letters "TNT" for Taylor and Travis.

Swift's oversize 1995 Salem shirt hit her mid-thigh, allowing her to wear it as a dress. The red piece featured the Chiefs logo and the team's name.

Swift did not reveal where she bought the shirt, though Kansas City business Westside Storey, which sells souvenirs and curated vintage items, told BI it was selling the same piece a week before she was spotted wearing it.

Swift paired the top with Giuseppe Zanotti's $1,650 Frannie boots and Louis Vuitton's Coussin bag, which retails for $4,800.

She wore several high-end jewelry pieces, including Louis Vuitton's $625 My LV Chain earrings. Swift also stacked two necklaces, Vitaly's $120 Shimmer Chain and Melinda Maria's $118 Julian Loves Diamonds Necklace 16, which features diamondettes.

Swift attended the Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills in December 2023 wearing a $250 vintage sweatshirt, which said "Chiefs" in large letters and featured the team's logo on one sleeve.

She bought the sweatshirt from Westside Storey in Kansas City. The store's owner, Chris Harrington, told BI he initially thought her purchase was fraudulent.

Swift dressed up the casual sweatshirt by pairing it with a $2,100 leather miniskirt from Khaite, which she wore backward, Larroudé's $500 Kate Hi boots in black leather, and GANT 240 Mulberry Street's $1,700 tailored coat in black.

She also added Mejuri's Heirloom Ring, which costs $648, and Mazin Jewels Open Rivet Ring, a $64 piece.

Her custom jacket for the Chiefs' playoff game against the Miami Dolphins in January was one of a kind.

Swift attended the playoff game in a custom red jacket made by Kristin Juszczyk, a designer married to San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

Kristin made the oversize puffer jacket using one of Kelce's jerseys, as she documented in a TikTok, so it featured his number, 87, on the front and sleeve, as well as his name. She also embroidered "Chiefs Kingdom" onto the jacket.

Swift focused her look on the jacket, pairing it with a black top, Paige's $249 Gemma pants, and $1,395 Christian Louboutin combat boots.

She also wore Anine Bing's Waylon belt, which retails for $200 but is out of stock, and carried the $525 Ilda Bag from Manu Atelier.

She wore all denim at the 2024-2025 season opener.

Swift seemed to signal she was fully stepping into her WAG era at the season opener in September, arriving at Arrowhead Stadium in an all-denim look.

She paired a denim version of Versace's Medusa corset, which retails for $1,325, with $174 mom shorts from Grlfrnd.

Swift also wore Giuseppe Zanotti's $1,650 burgundy thigh-high Frannie boots. The pricey shoes were more affordable than her Louis Vuitton side trunk bag, retailing for $3,950.

An assortment of high-end jewelry completed Swift's ensemble, including her TNT bracelet and a 1970s-inspired coin necklace from For Future Reference. The brand's founder, Randi Molofsky, previously told BI that the brand collaborated with Swift's stylist on the look.

"We were so lucky to work directly with Taylor's longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell Falconer, on last night's look for Taylor," he said. "He came to us specifically for the vintage coin necklace because he really had a vision of that bold, glam '70s style to pair with the denim-on-denim and over-the-thigh boot."

The priciest element of her outfit was a $29,100 ring from Retrouvai, which she paired with Howl's $4,800 Ruby Cocoon ring. Lizzie Mandler's $13,200 three-row Cleo bracelet sat on her wrist while she wore EF Collection's $895 diamond and prong chain earrings and the $590 Love Explosion Starburst Charm earrings from Three Stories Jewelry in her ears.

Swift wore $66,970 worth of jewelry for the look.

Swift elevated her style from sporty to chic in November.

Swift then arrived at a Chiefs home game in a red-and-black checked Versace blazer and skirt that cost $3,350 and $1,695, respectively.

The blazer sat on her shoulders, showing off the $34.99 Victoria's Secret corset Swift wore as a top.

She also chose Versace accessories for the look, including the $1,650 Medusa 95 Leather Knee High Boots and the $2,190 Medusa 95 Small Tote Bag.

Swift's standout jewelry piece for the game was the gold Tambour Watch from Louis Vuitton she wore on her wrist. It retails for $54,000, and Kelce has a coordinating timepiece.

But the Ruby and Diamond Heirloom Bezel Ring from Retrouvai she wore on her hand was nearly as pricey at $32,970. She complemented the ring with Effy Jewelry's $2,167 Ruby Royale Ruby and Diamond Crossover Ring.

The luxurious look was stylish and sleek, making her stand out in the stadium filled with sports fans.

The superstar's best gameday look so far included a fuzzy coat and designer hat.

There was no missing Swift when she arrived at Arrowhead Stadium over the weekend.

She wore a vibrant red coat with a faux fur lining from Charlotte Simone, plaid Sheertex tights, and a vintage Chanel bucket hat in black.

Her outfit also included $1,595 Manolo Blahnik boots and a red Tods handbag.

The outfit was fashionable, festive, and perfect for a winter game.

The fragrances successful women are wearing this year, from expensive Aesop scents to a Gucci perfume dupe

  • Perfumes were massively popular in 2024, especially those from prestige brands.
  • Business Insider asked successful women across industries to name their favorite scents.
  • Some like expensive, trendy options from Aesop, while others enjoy body sprays and classic perfumes.

The key to everyday luxury in 2024 was simple: spray some perfume.

The fine fragrance industry boomed throughout the year, with Women's Wear Daily reporting that prestige scents were the fastest and largest growing sector of the overall beauty industry.

Colognes were also extremely popular with men, and members of Gen Z became obsessed with smelling good.

So, Business Insider turned to successful women across industries to learn which perfumes they recently favored. Here are their picks.

The founder of a sustainable marketing agency loves unisex scents from Aesop.
A bottle of Tacit perfume from Aesop.
Viviene New York founder Estella Struck uses two Aesop scents, including Tacit.

Aesop

Estella Struck founded Viviene New York, a marketing agency that promotes sustainable businesses. She's also a rising star of influencer management.

The 23-year-old told BI that she's "not a perfume maximalist" — but there are two scents she loves.

"I really like Aesop. I think they have an amazing line of fragrances, and they're unisex," she said.

She's purchased the Tacit scent for herself, which costs $160 or $220 depending on the bottle you buy, and the $200 Karst scent for her boyfriend.

"I'll use his Aesop scent depending on my mood," she added.

She also likes a clean version of a popular Gucci fragrance.
A bottle of Floral Honeysuckle from Dossier
Rather than buying Gucci perfume, Estella Struck prefers this Dossier dupe.

Dossier

Struck told BI that she loves the scent of Gucci Bloom but doesn't find it to be the most sustainable and skin-friendly option on the market.

It's also priced pretty high, between $110 and $128 each for full-sized bottles.

So, the marketing professional turned to Dossier, a brand known for selling clean, inexpensive fragrances inspired by designer products.

Struck said the brand's Floral Honeysuckle perfume smells exactly like Gucci's, and the bottle costs $39.

One media strategist is loyal to a classic Victoria's Secret perfume.

Abby Carlos has spent the past two years working as a media strategist for Warner Bros. Discovery.

So far, she's worn the same perfume each day on the job: Victoria's Secret Bombshell.

She prefers the brand's original scent, which is sold as a body mist, lotion, and perfume (though the latter is sold out).

Other variations of the fragrance — including Bombshell Intense — are still available on the Victoria's Secret website for upward of $60.

For nights out, she turns to a designer brand.
A bottle of Carolina Herrera perfume.
Though the scent Abby Carlos uses is a limited edition one, Carolina Herrera sells various others.

Carolina Herrera

Carlos told BI she likes to wear a limited-edition Carolina Herrera scent called Good Girl Fantastic Pink for nights out.

"It's packaged in a sparkly pink bottle, and I get so many compliments on that one," she said.

She also previously enjoyed the brand's Very Good Girl scent, packaged in a red, heel-shaped bottle. But over time, she thinks it's become a bit overrated.

"It felt like everyone started wearing it," she said of the perfume. "I was like, 'Oh my God. Now I've got to find a new scent.'"

Bottles of the latter fragrance — and others in Carolina Herrera's Good Girl line — range in price between $94 and $192 per bottle. The brand no longer sells the Fantastic Pink line, but it can be purchased on fragrance websites and Amazon.

One entrepreneur sprays an underrated Viktor and Rolf perfume as a mood booster.

Sabrina Guler, 31, is an author and entrepreneur who cofounded the real-estate investment company Techvestor, which landed her on BI's rising stars of real estate list.

"I love Viktor & Rolf's Tiger Lily," she said. "That's been my go-to, and I always get complimented on it."

She describes the scent as floral, feminine, and "very sexy."

"I'm someone who wears fragrance when I want to enhance my self-love," she said. "If I want to feel better about myself, if my mood is kind of off, or if I just want to feel more connected to me, I'll add a little bit of perfume."

An influencer talent agent layers multiple fragrances to create her signature "vanilla cupcake" scent.
A bottle of Cashmere Vanilla body spray from Being Frenshe.
This Being Frenshe scent is just one piece of Asia Gousse's fragrance routine.

Being Frenshe

Asia Gousse found herself on BI's list of rising stars in influencer talent management thanks to her work with Slash Management. She works with an all-female client roster that she discovered on TikTok.

Even when her job is busy, the 28-year-old makes time for a thorough fragrance routine.

Gousse always begins by applying unscented body oil to help her perfume last longer. She then uses the $14.99 Being Frenshe body spray in Cashmere Vanilla as a base layer for a rotating perfume.

Sometimes, she sprays Valentino's Born in Roma Intense, which costs between $110 and $140. On other days, she chooses Maison Margiela's Replica Afternoon Delight ($35 to $165) or Viktor & Rolf's Flower Bomb Ruby Orchid ($38 to $225).

Finally, she uses a niche fragrance from Idult Paris called Tiholta, which she says is the "truest vanilla" scent she can find. It costs 180 euros, or about $187.

"I want to always walk around smelling like a vanilla cupcake. It's my pride and joy," she said.

A fashion designer has found her signature scent in YSL's line.
A bottle of Black Opium Over Red from Yves Saint Laurent.
Designer Anna Molinari says she enjoys the Over Red version of YSL's Black Opium.

Franziska Krug/Getty Images

Anna Molinari is a 26-year-old content creator and sustainable fashion designer. She's also a newly cemented fragrance fan.

"I never used to be a fragrance person, but now I've been learning about them as I receive them in PR packages," she told BI. "My favorite is the YSL Black Opium Over Red."

In addition to the YSL scent, which costs between $35 and $160 per bottle, Molinari enjoys the Mugler Alien scent, which retails for around $150 per bottle.

"My issue with perfumes is that, to me, they can smell like old ladies," she said. "So what I like about the YSL cherry scent specifically is that it does smell very fruity. Same thing with Mugler Alien. I can wear them every day."

  • Lainey Wilson released her fifth album, opened a Nashville bar, and won a Grammy in 2024.
  • The "Yellowstone" star also continued to evolve her red-carpet fashion.
  • She's swapped matching suits for bold tops, statement hats, and bell-bottom pants.

The past year has been major for Lainey Wilson.

The country musician and "Yellowstone" star released her fifth studio album, opened her Nashville bar, and won her first Grammy award in 2024.

At the same time, her style also majorly evolved.

Here's a look at how Wilson took her fashion from that of a young, emerging star to one fitting for a TV star and country legend.

Lainey Wilson went bold for one of her first red-carpet appearances.

The musician attended the 2018 ASCAP Country Music Awards in a two-piece suit printed with a brown snakeskin pattern.

She paired the set with a sparkling button-up top, an assortment of rings, and a delicate necklace.

The outfit was eye-catching but pretty different from the styles Wilson would gravitate toward in the following years.

Fast-forward to 2021 and Wilson had adopted bell-bottom pants as her fashion signature.

She wore a pair at the 2021 CMT Music Awards. They were crafted from a metallic, mustard-yellow fabric and decorated with silver studs in star prints at the ankles.

Still, the "Yellowstone" star remained loyal to snakeskin. She wore a top designed with the print that had long sleeves and was tied at the waist.

For accessories, she layered gold and silver necklaces.

For the iHeartRadio Music Awards that year, Wilson donned a black, corseted bodysuit beneath see-through bell bottoms.

She also wore a sheer duster decorated with silver fringe, which matched her statement metallic jewelry.

The outfit showed the more daring side of Wilson's style and the progression of her glamour.

Wilson stepped onto the CMA Awards red carpet that year looking like a Hollywood star.

She wore a standout Carolina Herrera catsuit with a wrapped, strapless bodice and layered ruffles down each pant leg.

The high-fashion piece was also accessorized with statement jewels from Haybelle Co., which made the ensemble even more exciting.

This year, the "Whirlwind" musician added vibrant colors and daring details to her fashion.

Just look at the Roberto Cavalli suit she wore to the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year event.

Its turquoise color stood out on the red carpet, and its opened button-up blouse added a surprising, skin-baring edge.

Wilson also wore a statement belt from Lela Rose, jewels from Jacquie Aiche, and a black, wide-brimmed hat.

She's even stepped away from bell-bottom pants on a few occasions.

For example, she didn't wear her signature bottoms at Charlize Theron's 2024 Africa Outreach Project party.

Instead, Wilson sported straight-leg, high-waist trousers in a red shade that matched her high-neck crop top.

She stayed true to her favorite accessories: oversize jewelry, a belt with a large buckle, and a white cowboy hat.

Cutouts have also become a part of Wilson's style.

Her designer top was sheer, covered in ruffles, and split at the waist by a large cutout. The musician wore it with black bell bottoms covering her shoes and a hat that was the same color as her blouse.

The overall style of the outfit was in line with Wilson's signature looks, while its designer tags showed just how far the musician's fashion has come.

6 of the best outfits Kim Kardashian wore this year and 5 that missed the mark

  • Kim Kardashian consistently wore daring designer outfits at events in 2024.
  • Her fashion choices included some stunning ensembles, from cutout gowns to casual streetwear.
  • Other outfits, however, were less successful and missed the mark entirely.

One thing never changed this year: Kim Kardashian's dedication to bold outfits.

The television star regularly appeared in major cities and at red-carpet events, wearing stunning ensembles from designer brands.

On a few occasions, however, her attire could have been better.

Here's a look at the best and worst looks Kardashian wore in 2024.

Kim Kardashian kicked off 2024 with a skin-baring gown for Paris Fashion Week.

She attended the Maison Margiela runway show and was photographed outside wearing a sleeveless design from the fashion house.

Her black dress — which hugged Kardashian's body and had round cutouts from top to bottom — was paired with Tabi shoes and a statement silver necklace that covered her neck.

The outfit was fashion-forward and memorable.

Her sheer dress a few days later didn't have the same effect.

For a Balenciaga show, Kardashian wore a black lace gown that was form-fitting and backless.

The gown's silhouette was stunning, thanks to a short train, waterfall sleeves, and a high neckline. However, one small detail distracted from the look.

Attached to the back of the dress was a long string and Balenciaga tag, intended to look like Kardashian bought the dress and forgot to remove its price label.

Unfortunately, the feature was too gimmicky for the chic look.

The Skims founder perfected the mob-wife aesthetic in March.

She was photographed leaving a Margiela exhibit in Paris while wearing a fuzzy, jaguar-print coat from Balenciaga. It had an oversize collar, thick sleeves, and a leather belt wrapped around the waist.

The coat was a standout on its own, but Kardashian elevated the piece with the rest of her look.

She wore sheer black tights, pointed heels, and glowing, smoky makeup. She also carried a black leather purse and tied her hair in a slicked ponytail.

Her street style faltered, however, while visiting Los Angeles.

For one occasion, Kardashian stepped out wearing an oversize Balenciaga bomber coat and $3,590 leggings that covered an attached pair of pointed heels.

The outfit was overly simple and looked as if it were missing a piece, such as a skirt or shorts.

Kardashian also wore black sunglasses and an updo hairstyle that worked with the streetwear look but didn't add any extra style.

The fashion mogul experimented with old Hollywood glam after the Oscars, and the look worked for her.

She attended the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in yet another Balenciaga design. Her off-white dress was strapless, with a floor-length skirt, short train, and a neckline pointing toward her face.

Not only did the gown's shining fabric complement Kardashian's glowing makeup, but it also looked luxurious when paired with diamond jewels.

She wore a statement ring and large stud earrings, and her hair was styled sleekly to cover one side of her face.

It didn't click as well when Kardashian tried to bring back styles from the early 2000s.

For the Breakthrough Prize ceremony this year, Kardashian donned a white Alaïa gown with a daring bodice.

Its halter top had a triangle cutout across the chest and thin slits at the waist, both of which were more reminiscent of Y2K designs than anything modern.

The tight gown's best feature was its stark white color, which looked great on Kardashian. However, the crocodile-embossed leather looked a bit strange from far away, almost like the dress was made from a towel material.

Kardashian completed the look with shining lip gloss, dark eye makeup, and straight hair styled to appear wet.

The neutral outfit she wore in New York over the summer was classic Kardashian.

The brand founder stepped out of her hotel in a $94 Skims dress in a custom color. It had long sleeves, a layered skirt, and a high neckline.

She wore the simple piece with a tan pair of Balenciaga's Pantaleggings and a $1,850 shearling bag from ERL.

Kardashian's tan outfit matched her signature neutral aesthetic, and her fuzzy, butter-yellow purse added a fun, fashionable touch.

She wore more yellow pieces in August, but they didn't all work for her.

She was photographed in New York City wearing a strapless Miu Miu tank top made from vibrant yellow leather and tan pants that were wide at the ankles.

The latter garment was unfortunately too neutral in color and washed Kardashian out. A darker shade could have made all the difference.

The TV star completed the outfit with tan sandals, a Birkin bag, and a wavy hairstyle.

Following her own tradition, Kardashian wore a corset gown to the Met Gala. As usual, she stole the show.

This year, she sported a John Galliano creation at the Met Gala. It was strapless with a tightly corseted waist and metal floral pieces that created its skirt.

The gown was like a work of art and matched the night's theme: "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."

Kardashian truly looked like a princess who had just awoken, especially thanks to her small gray cardigan that she carried around her arms.

You might have forgotten about the leotard she wore to the 2024 Academy Museum Gala.

Thierry Mugler designed the white ensemble Kardashian wore that night. It included a corseted leotard with a plunging neckline and hip padding and a thin overcoat that reached the floor.

The two pieces looked too casual for the prestigious event, as did her see-through heels.

However, her wavy hair, pink makeup, and diamond necklace were picture-perfect.

She arrived in a white Gucci gown with two thin straps acting as a bodice, which created a deep V-neckline that reached her stomach.

The skin-hugging dress was complemented by an off-white overcoat, which Kardashian carried across her back, and thick necklaces from Garrard.

The one shaped like a cross was previously worn by Princess Diana. Kardashian purchased it at an auction in 2023 for nearly $200,000.

  • Taylor Swift has been making bold fashion statements for over a decade.
  • For performances, the singer often wears sparkly rompers and sheer dresses.
  • And on the red carpet, Swift isn't afraid to wear gowns with plunging necklines or daring slits.

Over the past few years, Taylor Swift has solidified her status as a powerhouse in the music industry.

From her massive Eras Tour and accompanying film to her record-breaking fourth album of the year Grammy win, Swift's influence is nearly unmatched following the release of her 11th studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department."

Though music is her bread and butter, Swift also holds sway in the fashion world, helping small brands make massive sales simply by wearing one of their designs.

Her style has changed throughout her decade-plus in the public eye, and she has been experimenting with daring fashion more and more often in recent years.

Take a look at some of her most daring looks to date.

How Selena Gomez's style evolved as she became a billionaire

  • Selena Gomez was named a billionaire in September, largely thanks to her success with Rare Beauty.
  • Since then, her style has subtly shifted toward timeless fashion.
  • Specifically, Gomez has adopted an all-black wardrobe featuring designers like Ralph Lauren.

Selena Gomez graced magazine covers, was nominated for two Golden Globe awards, and hosted her second Rare Impact Fund Benefit in 2024.

She also became a billionaire in September, largely thanks to the success of her massive cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty.

The actor and entrepreneur has shied away from talking about her financial achievement, saying that she's "grateful" but finds it "distasteful" to discuss money publicly.

However, her style has shifted slightly to complement her status as one of the most influential and successful businesswomen in her field.

Here's how her fashion has evolved since becoming a billionaire, from colorful minidresses to luxury ensembles.

Selena Gomez has always worn fun, feminine fashion.

Gomez, 32, might have entered the Hollywood scene as a young Disney Channel star in jeans and T-shirts.

Eventually, however, she swapped her casual looks for metallic gowns, bold cutouts, and fun, colorful minidresses.

Her style often merged classic pieces with edgy trends and crossed a wide range of aesthetics. Still, Gomez's fashion always steadily evolved with her and her career.

The multi-hyphenate star really came into her own style in 2023.

She began working with stylist Erin Walsh that year. Together, the duo experimented with flashy, skin-baring gowns, pops of red, and chic business attire.

And as Gomez approached billionaire status, she elevated her looks.

Gomez hasn't flaunted her wealth with her style — but she has embraced luxury.

In May, she attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote her film "Emilia Pérez," and she looked like a classic Hollywood star on the red carpet.

Gomez wore a black Saint Laurent gown with white, off-the-shoulder sleeves, Santoni heels, and statement diamonds from Bulgari.

Instead of colorful minidresses, she began wearing sparkling numbers in darker shades.

At the August premiere of "Only Murders in the Building," Gomez sported a $555 halter dress from Self-Portrait.

It had a lace neckline with a silver bow attached and black sparkles from top to bottom.

The chic design was an elevated version of the youthful minidresses she's worn throughout her career. Gomez completed the look with $3,264 Roger Vivier heels and Marli jewels.

Statement jewelry also became a major part of her wardrobe.

For the Toronto International Film Festival in September, Gomez donned a sparkling Rodarte gown with a halter neckline, peplum waist, and rose appliqué.

It was her jewelry, however, that stole the show. She wore a variety of Tiffany and Co. rings and dangling earrings.

Walsh described Gomez's look on Instagram as "the divine feminine."

At the 2024 Emmy Awards, she wore a black velvet gown with glitter-covered halter straps. The Ralph Lauren design, which was made specifically for Gomez, also had a mermaid-style skirt that pooled around her feet.

The actor amplified the classic gown with Tiffany and Co. jewels and Ralph Lauren heels.

In September, Gomez attended the New York Film Festival. As has become customary for the actor, she wore all black.

Vera Wang custom-made the halter, scoop-neck gown for Gomez. It featured a floor-length skirt, a form-fitting bodice, and a large bow attached at the back. There were also matching over-the-elbow gloves.

Gomez wore the dress with an assortment of rings and earrings from Tiffany and Co.

Rather than wearing daring dresses, Gomez has recently opted for simple ones with intricate details.

For the 2024 Academy Museum Gala, the Rare Beauty founder wore a custom piece from Alaïa. It had a leather bralette beneath a blue velvet gown with a deep, scooped neckline.

The fabric looked rich and timeless but also fashion-forward when paired with leather detailing and chunky silver accessories from Tiffany and Co.

Still, timeless, neutral styles are Gomez's signature.

She recently attended The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Gala while wearing a $585 midi dress from Self-Portrait.

The elegant piece had white ruffles across its sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline, which added a feminine touch to its dark fabric.

For accessories, Walsh dressed Gomez in Chopard jewels and Manolo Blahnik heels.

I compared Le Labo's cult-favorite Santal 33 perfume to a $30 Target dupe. I'd only recommend the cheaper option.

11 December 2024 at 02:32

  • Le Labo is known for its luxury fragrances, including its famous Santal 33 scent.
  • However, perfume fans say there's a dupe on the market: Jungle Santal from the Target brand Fine'ry.
  • I tried both products and found they were similar in almost everything except the price.

Sitting at my desk with a cat on my lap, I slowly typed each credit card number into Le Labo's website.

Buying a sample of the brand's Santal 33 fragrance made me feel like I was entering a club I've long been an outsider to. The perfume, which can cost up to $1,095 for a bottle, is favored by celebrities, businesspeople, and other fragrance fans.

I was reminded of the scent — and the fact that I'd never smelled it — while interviewing successful men about their favorite colognes. Many of them mentioned Le Labo.

To feed my growing curiosity, I tried the brand's most popular scent. While I was at it, I figured I'd also experiment with a potential dupe: Jungle Santal by Target's fragrance brand Fine'ry.

Quickly, I realized that Le Labo fans might want to switch to the cheaper alternative.

Santal 33: a fragrant and expensive status symbol

I ordered my Santal 33 sample — which cost $12.79 with shipping and tax — on a Thursday morning, and it was delivered to my doorstep the following day.

Despite its minuscule size, the sample embodied Le Labo's understated aesthetic. The glass tube was wrapped in cardboard, and a yellow sticker displayed its ingredients and origin.

Amanda Krause/Business Insider

I've heard many fans say that Santal 33 is "refreshing" and "smells expensive." One social-media user said the scent reminded them of a pricey hotel in New York City.

Though I originally expected something light, almost like a spa scent, I altered my expectations after reading the perfume's description on Le Labo's website.

With notes of iris, violet, sandalwood, and leather, maybe it would smell sharp but floral, with a lingering musk.

I didn't expect the perfume to smell like pickle juice — a comparison that social media has shown is common among Santal 33 critics and fans alike.

Cat Chen, the founder of the fragrance brand Skylar, previously told BI that the reason perfumes can smell bad to you and great to others is likely related to your body chemistry — or, more specifically, your skin type and pH balance.

In my experience, the fragrance first smelled deeply earthy with a floral touch. As it settled, the musk kicked in, creating a mixture that reminded me of a spice cabinet and, again, an open jar of pickles.

I found it unpleasant and overpowering. Ultimately, it was not for me.

One spray of this fragrance reminded me of pickle juice. Other perfume fans have said the same.

Amanda Krause/Business Insider

Once the perfume was on, its odor could not be ignored. So, I put my distaste aside and tested the scent's lasting power.

It was most fragrant in my hair, where I could smell it strongly for the first two hours I wore it. Four hours after application, the scent had nearly vanished from my skin.

I even asked friends and family if they noticed my perfume. They said they only smelled it faintly when we hugged.

The quick fade in scent surprised me. If I had spent $107 on the smallest bottle of Santal 33 or $1,095 on the largest, I'd savor every spray.

Purchasing the sample also did not include a coupon to save a few dollars on a larger bottle — a fairly standard practice in the perfume industry. Representatives for Le Labo did not respond to a request for comment.

Target's version isn't exactly the same — but it's close enough

Fine'ry doesn't claim to make dupes, as it told Fast Company in April. The brand aims to bring luxury scent trends to consumers shopping at a lower price point.

Still, on "PerfumeTok" — the fragrance-obsessed side of TikTok — numerous fragrance fans have said the brand's Jungle Santal perfume, sold at Target as a $29.99 perfume and $14.99 body mist, matched Le Labo's Santal 33.

I ordered the more expensive bottle that Thursday, which arrived by Sunday morning.

I was quickly impressed. The perfume, packaged in a plastic-wrapped box with a modern design, looked more high-end than expected from a big-box chain.

Amanda Krause/Business Insider

One spray proved that the Jungle Santal perfume isn't an exact dupe for Santal 33 — but they're similar. Both scents feature notes of cardamom and wood and are equally strong and musky.

While Le Labo's perfume quickly reminded me of pickles, Fine'ry's initially smelled more masculine with a stronger spice. Still, when the two fragrances settled on my skin, they were almost indistinguishable.

A bottle of Fine'ry perfume from Target.

Amanda Krause/Business Insider

One thing I preferred about Fine'ry's scent is that the perfume features a note of black oolong tea, which I felt calmed the fragrance.

Most noticeably, they lasted the same amount of time, about four hours, on my skin.

The Fine'ry perfume did seem to fade more dramatically. Whereas Le Labo's perfume slowly drifted away, the more inexpensive fragrance seemed to lose a large chunk of its scent every half hour.

Representatives for Fine'ry did not respond to a request for comment.

Money versus fragrance

What's considered a good perfume will always be a matter of personal preference. While I like sweet gourmand scents, others despise anything in the category.

So, I can't say I enjoyed wearing either fragrance simply because I'm not a fan of musky, spicy scents.

However, based on lasting power, price, and aesthetics, it's hard to see why fans wouldn't swap Le Labo's pricey perfume for the Fine'ry option.

It lasted as long as the more expensive fragrance, was packaged in a pretty and minimalistic bottle, and cost significantly less than the designer option.

4 of the best looks and 3 that missed the mark at the 'Mufasa: The Lion King' premiere

  • The "Mufasa: The Lion King" premiere was hosted in Hollywood on Monday night.
  • Celebrities like Beyoncé looked stunning on the red carpet in designer outfits.
  • Others like Heidi Klum could have arguably made better fashion choices for the event.

The holidays might be on the horizon, but Hollywood is celebrating a different occasion: the upcoming release of "Mufasa: The Lion King."

Stars gathered at the Dolby Theatre on Monday night for the movie's red-carpet premiere, and many wore themed gowns and suits.

While some celebrities like Beyoncé stunned in their ensembles, others missed the mark.

Here are the best and worst looks of the night.

Beyoncé stunned in a golden gown with a plunging, tear-drop neckline.

Designed by Balmain, the form-fitting piece was strapless, floor-length, and decorated with reflective circle pieces.

The daring gown also featured an above-the-thigh slit down one side of its skirt.

The outfit's bold design stood out on the red carpet, and its golden hues complemented the movie premiere's yellow and orange decor.

Beyoncé's wavy blonde hair completed the look.

Heidi Klum's white gown didn't make much sense for the event.

She donned a white halter piece from Manish Malhotra that was covered from top to bottom in more than 100,000 pearls and crystals, as the designer said on Instagram.

The dress was stunning and would have been perfect for a holiday event.

However, its stark white color didn't match the event's aesthetic, making Klum's outfit appear out of place.

Chloe Bailey looked chic in a simple yet sentimental outfit.

She walked the red carpet in a strapless, shimmering gown crafted from sparkling blue fabric. The material was ruched across its bodice and extended into a floor-length skirt with a train.

Not only was the gown's shape flattering on Bailey, but its color was also a sweet nod to Blue Ivy, Beyoncé's 12-year-old daughter who made her voice-acting debut in the new Disney film.

"Blue for Blue 💙 i cried like a baby in my seat… loved this movie 🦁," Bailey wrote on Instagram after the premiere.

Jordyn Woods wore a dress that had potential but ultimately missed the mark.

Her custom dress from Minna Fashion had a single strap, a slit across its bodice, and a floor-length skirt with another cut that revealed her legs.

Her fuzzy coat was arguably the best part of her look. It added a few neutral shades and a contrasting texture to her sparkling dress.

The gown itself, however, was too light in color to stand out on the red carpet.

Fashion designer Olivier Rousteing brought his signature style to the movie premiere, and it worked.

Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain, was photographed at the event wearing a black blazer with sharp shoulder pads, a white button-up blouse, and baggy pants tucked into leather boots.

The outfit was memorable and perfectly represented both the fashion house and Rousteing's personal style.

It also blended classic menswear styles with fashion-forward accessory designs.

Billy Eichner's suit nodded to big cats — but not the ones featured in the movie.

The comedian stepped onto the carpet wearing an all-black ensemble comprised of trousers, a blazer, a T-shirt, and boots.

From afar, the outfit wasn't so bad, but Eichner's suit was subtly decorated with an animal print — leopard, to be exact.

The pattern didn't make perfect sense, considering "Mufasa" focuses on lions.

Tiffany Boone wore a colorful gown that looked like a piece of art.

Balmain created the red, yellow, and blue gown, which had a strapless neckline that extended above Boone's chest.

It was undoubtedly one of the most memorable outfits of the night.

The actor perfected her outfit with blue earrings, vibrant red lipstick, and a long ponytail that extended past her thighs.

Successful men say these luxury items make their lives easier, from a $516 alarm clock to a $6,000 couch

6 December 2024 at 01:34
A Hatch alarm clock, Sony XM5 headphones, a Lovesac sactional, and Solreader glasses

BI

  • Business Insider asked successful men about the luxury items that make their lives easier.
  • Some said they love expensive chairs to make working from home more comfortable.
  • Others said they enjoy e-reader glasses and massive TVs to unwind in their free time.

If there's one thing that most people on your holiday shopping list would like, it's a gift that would make their lives easier.

For some, that might look like skincare products or a spa package. Others might prefer a new smartwatch or a fancy alarm clock.

Safe to say, there's a wide range of options out there. So Business Insider asked some of the busiest people — from brand founders and engineers to a dermatologist —what items optimize their lives.

These are the most luxurious, helpful items that make a daily difference to them.

Before tech professional Sasha Bratyshkin sleeps, he reads a few chapters on his Sol Reader glasses.

Bratyshkin, a 28-year-old engineer who's the chief technology officer of Housing.Cloud, a platform he cofounded to help students find housing, told BI that after he leaves work, he loves to read.

Still, Bratyshkin works late hours and doesn't want to wake his partner with a reading light or glowing Kindle.

So the former Facebook employee uses $399 glasses from Sol Reader that privately display book pages in each lens.

"It's the most gadgety gadget of all time — but it's how I get most of my reading done these days," Bratyshkin said.

In the morning, Bratyshkin relies on his Joy Resolve Barisieur alarm clock.

"It's amazing to wake up to a cup of coffee," Bratyshkin said of the gadget that makes a cup of coffee timed to your alarm. "You just program it and then wake up to the fresh scent. It also looks really cool. Even when I'm not using it, I'm like, look at that thing! It looks so cute."

The $516 Barisieur machine can make up to two cups of coffee or tea, depending on the model. It has storage for grounds, a built-in mini fridge to keep milk cold, multiple alarm settings, and solid-wood detailing.

The engineer sits on his Herman Miller chair when he works from home.

Herman Miller

Eames lounge chairs from Herman Miller have been a staple of the designer brand since 1956 and one of the most popular home status symbols for men throughout 2024.

The expensive furniture pieces are made from wood and leather. They cost between $6,895 and $10,000 each.

Bratyshkin, who sits at his desk for up to 12 hours daily, says the back support the luxury item provides "is indispensable."

Bryce Grandison, a real-estate entrepreneur, winds down by watching sports on his 85-inch TV.

When he's not studying or working, Grandison, 27, a former real-estate analyst now studying to become a licensed real-estate agent in Georgia, relaxes with his biggest splurge of the year: an 85-inch television from Sony.

"My wife and I love to catch up, watch TV shows, and hang out on the couch," he said, adding that he also loves to watch football and basketball on the massive screen. "As much as work and business are important, it's also really important for you to take care of yourself, relax, and have a good balance."

Sony sells a wide range of 85-inch TVs that cost between $1,499 and $7,999 each.

He said a Peloton bike and Hatch alarm clock have also improved his wellness routines.

Hatch

When Grandison, who was previously named one of BI's rising stars of the real-estate industry, wakes up each morning, he does so with the help of his Hatch.

The $169 alarm clocks can be customized (via an app) to mimic a sunrise each morning, display different colors, and play various nature-inspired sounds to help you sleep.

"Our evening routine starts off with our Hatch playing waves with red light, setting a good atmosphere to go to sleep," he said. "When we wake up, we've programmed the Hatch to have ambient lighting and birds chirping."

He says he prefers the calm, slow wake-up routine the clock provides, especially as opposed to a normal phone alarm that jolts you out of bed.

Art tech professional Paul Hill says his Sony headphones are key to a relaxing commute to work.

Paul Hill, the 25-year-old founder of the art-tech company Strada, enjoys Sony's WH-1000XM5 headphones.

As he told BI, music is deeply important to him. He often listens to it via Sony's $399 over-the-ear headphones, which are said to have a 30-hour battery life and noise-canceling capabilities.

"I am very, very passionate about and tied to these headphones," he said with a laugh.

Dermatologist Reid Waldman says his Humanscale chair and Lovesac couch are major parts of his daily work routine.

Reid Waldman, a 30-year-old dermatologist and CEO of biopharmaceutical company Veradermics, told BI comfortable seating is essential to his daily routine.

Waldman is a fan of Humanscale chairs. They might look like basic office furniture, but they're actually ergonomic seats that cost between $258 and $5,062 each.

"For someone who sits in a chair 14 hours a day, it's totally worth it," he said of the chairs. "And then I do an astounding amount of work sitting on my Lovesac Sactional."

The famously fluffy pieces cost over $2,700 and can be customized to your living space.

The best and worst looks country music stars have worn this year so far

25 November 2024 at 09:40

  • It's been a big year for the country music genre and the fashion worn by its stars.
  • Beyoncé, Miranda Lambert, and Kelsea Ballerini have all worn stunning looks in 2024 so far.
  • Shania Twain and Keith Urban have missed the mark with some of their outfits.

Country music stars are having a big year.

Shania Twain started her new Las Vegas residency, Zach Bryan released highly-anticipated new music, and Beyoncé showed off her Texas roots with the release of "Cowboy Carter."

Those three stars and others have also made splashes on red carpets throughout 2024 — sometimes in stunning fashion, and other times not.

Here's a look at the best and worst outfits country musicians have worn this year.

Miranda Lambert showed the glamorous side of Western fashion at the 2024 ACM Awards.

She arrived at the ACM Awards wearing a black Roberto Cavalli gown that was both elegant and slightly daring. It had a halter neckline with a deep bodice slit, a matching cut across its floor-length skirt, and a short train that extended beside her.

The dress was also embellished with a silver collar and turquoise-studded belt, adding a Western touch to the overall look.

Lambert completed her outfit with strappy silver sandals, a metallic clutch, and statement earrings.

But Lainey Wilson's outfit at the 2024 People's Choice Awards missed the mark.

The Grammy winner also wore Roberto Cavalli in the form of a leopard-print catsuit — one of the night's most daring looks.

Her outfit included a string halter top with a keyhole cutout at the chest and flowing bell-bottom pants. However, the latter portion was too long for the musician, making her outfit look ill-fitting as she walked the teal carpet.

Her suit also needed some metallic accessories, like a gold belt at the waist or cuff bracelets across her wrists.

Beyoncé's latest fashion era is as strong as her first country album.

At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Beyoncé made an appearance in a strong Versace ensemble.

It included a few leather pieces adorned with gold hardware and fringe, from her black button-up top to her high-waisted pants.

The music icon also wore a gold-studded belt, black sunglasses, hoop earrings, and a Versace cowboy hat, making her outfit one of the best of the night.

There was too much going on with the suit Shania Twain wore to the pre-Grammy gala.

Twain has defended her daring fashion of recent years, saying in April 2023 that "life is too short to wear boring clothes."

That might be true, but the Christian Siriano suit she sported at the 2024 pre-Grammy gala didn't reach its potential.

She wore the gold, textured two-piece with its jacket buttoned up to her collarbones, making the top look stiff. Instead, she should have worn it open with a bralette or crop top beneath it, as shown on the designer's runway.

T.J. looked cool in powder blue, wearing a colorful tuxedo adorned with a pearl brooch over a red shirt. John, on the other hand, went full country in a paisley blouse, a burnt-orange suede jacket, and a cowboy hat.

Their outfits were just coordinated enough to work together but also representative of their individual styles.

But at the annual CMT Music Awards, Keith Urban looked too casual.

His outfit that night included a plaid top with gradient shading, dark skinny jeans that were baggy at the bottom, and chunky black boots with white soles.

The ensemble might have worked for a casual concert or a day out, but it was arguably too laid back for an awards ceremony.

Kelsea Ballerini stunned when she showed the edgy side of her feminine style.

Ballerini quickly became one of the best-dressed stars of the 2024 Fashion Trust US Awards when she arrived in a lace Zuhair Murad dress.

The long-sleeved garment had a high neckline, a corset bodice that hugged her body, and a see-through skirt that reached the floor.

The daring outfit choice stood out on the pink carpet and showed how drastically Ballerini's style has evolved over the years.

Reba McEntire's look at the ACM Awards was almost perfect.

The country legend was in attendance that night wearing a fun pair of lace pants with black fringe and sparkles. And her blazer was equally eye-catching thanks to its all-over rhinestones.

But McEntire's overall look missed the mark because of her turquoise jewelry. Her statement necklace and rings were a bold choice that took away from the chic suit.

Kane Brown sparkled his way down the pink carpet of the 2024 Lo Nuestro Awards.

Brown looked dapper in his two-piece outfit, including black trousers with sparkling stripes and a matching jacket over a satin blouse.

He also accessorized perfectly with dress shoes, a black cowboy hat, and minimal jewelry.

But Zach Bryan didn't stand out at this year's Grammy Awards.

He arrived on the red carpet wearing a standard black tuxedo, as well as an undershirt and bow tie in the same dark shade.

The solid shade made Bryan blend into the background during much of the event, and didn't highlight his new star power.

A different-colored jacket or one with a print could have worked better.

Kacey Musgraves had a standout moment in denim at the 2024 CMA Awards.

She wore a Georges Hobeika midi dress made from light-wash denim and embellished with teardrop crystals.

The form-fitting piece also had a sweetheart neckline and long, feathered sleeves, adding Hollywood glamour to the classic Western fabric.

But Kelsea Ballerini's sparkling dress had one noticeable issue at the same event.

Her Dolce & Gabbana frock was shapeless and floor length, with large silver sequins decorating its white fabric.

While its metallic shine complemented Ballerini, the gown's bodice had too much fabric. The excess created odd shapes as she walked and distracted from the overall look.

Shaboozey wore a mint-green suit that cemented his place as one of the best-dressed country stars of the year.

His custom three-piece from La Roxx included a black, sparkling button-up, a beaded jacket with his name painted across the back, and trousers with rose prints down each leg.

But the most memorable piece of Shaboozey's showstopping look that night was his footwear.

He wore a black pair of Crocs covered in sparkles, which made them look more like dressy loafers than rubber shoes.
