When Gomez was set to appear on the Monday, January 6, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she arrived at the studio in Los Angeles wearing a Raisa Vanessa white mini dress with hand-beaded crystal and pearl embellishments. The bodice extended into a sculptural skirt that would look right at home on the dance floor at the Bachelorette party.
She paired her marquise diamond engagement ring — which Blanco, 36, helped custom design with jewelers Katherine Theofilos Claster and Stephanie Theofilos — with Le Soonar diamond drop earrings. Meanwhile, her Aquazzura bright white pumps could easily be worn down the aisle, particularly with the practical ankle strap.
But that wasn’t the only all-white look in her repertoire, as she had a second dress that would feel just as right at a bridal shower. By the time she sat down on Jimmy Kimmel’s couch for the interview, she’d changed into a Valentino frock with scalloped details and a Saint Laurent strong-shouldered blazer, which looked reminiscent of the tailoring that her fiancé wore when attending the Golden Globe Awards together on Sunday, January 5.

The cast embarked on a worldwide press tour that saw the film’s leading ladies, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, embracing the magic of method dressing at every stop, from New York to London to Australia.
To build the Wicked fashion fantasy (and fanbase), designers — including Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Westwood and Thom Browne — created looks that captured the essence of Grande and Evivo’s on-screen characters, Glinda and Elphaba.
Archival looks with meaning behind them was another way celebrities made headlines. Case in point: Sydney Sweeney, who hit the Oscars afterparties in the legendary Marc Bouwer gown Angelina Jolie wore to the Academy Awards in 2004.

Taylor Russell gave new meaning to “here comes the bride” when she opened the Venice Film Festival in a scene-stealing archival wedding dress that supermodel Claudia Schiffer wore on the 1993 Chanel Couture runway. When Holly Madison considers her past fashion choices, she only has one regret: layers.

A sparkly standout is the flesh-colored naked dress inspired by a vintage Bob Mackie gown that she bedazzled herself for Hugh Hefner‘s 80th birthday party in 2006. “I just went to Hollywood Boulevard where they have all the stripper stores and got this see-through dress, and then I put a crystal bunny on it,” Madison explained.

“I still have it!” Madison gushed. “I love fashion history, [and] I love the history of the Playboy pictorials.” She added: “My dream is to build a house with a perfect closet where I can display a lot of things and have a mannequin, like a little museum of my favorite stuff.”

Paris Hilton certainly made a statement this Christmas, transforming herself into a human present by posing wrapped in a large bow.
Hilton, 43, celebrated the holiday season with a sexy video posted via her Instagram account on Wednesday, December 25, that caused fans to do a double take.
The shot featured the socialite wrapped in a large red bow, complemented by red fingerless elbow-length gloves, pointed-toe pumps and pearl-and-diamond drop earrings. The final accessory? Her 20-carat emerald-cut diamond engagement ring with baguette diamonds on either side.
The clip was set to Ariana Grande’s Christmas anthem “Santa Tell Me (Dirty Version)” with the lyrics, “Oh, I wanna let him unwrap me, like, oh-ooh-oh / Get on top of him, by that fireplace, oh-ooh-oh.” She captioned the post, “My presence is a present.”
Her signature blonde hair was styled in glamorous Old Hollywood waves. Additional photos showcased Hilton in lacy red lingerie paired with matching thigh-high fishnet stockings and Santa-worthy suspenders. Her caption read: “All wrapped up and ready to sliv this holiday season.”
The joke was on Us, as many tastemakers and media outlets have recently declared the bow as the go-to holiday detail of choice, albeit usually atop a Christmas tree.
“The bow-topped tree trend stems from the aforementioned girlhood aesthetic, but it also aligns with the cottagecore and coquette-ified interiors that dominated our social media feeds during the pandemic,” wrote Architectural Digest. “But more importantly? It’s about personal style.”
The trend started to take shape in 2023, with Vogue reporting that, “bows — pinned into hair and dangling from clothes and hanging from candlesticks and stuffed into pillows and stuck onto unconsenting dogs and tied around everything from champagne coupes to antidepressants — were everywhere.”
Hilton’s tree, however, was dressed in a pink color scheme with various Christmas ornaments in shades of magenta, fuchsia, Barbie pink and more. On top was a single sparkling silver star, though no amount of decor could steal the spotlight from Hilton as a scantily clad present.

Following Lively’s sexual harassment allegations against her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni, she received public support from figures including Paltrow, 52. Lively’s accusations against Baldoni include unwanted kissing during filming and a campaign to damage her reputation. Baldoni has vehemently denied these claims, calling them “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious.”
Paltrow publicly showed her support for Lively, 37, on the day the complaint was released. In an Instagram Story, she featured Lively’s Blake Brown haircare line on her Christmas wish list, adding a queen emoji to her post.
According to the legal documents obtained by Us Weekly, the effects of Baldoni’s tear down campaign against Lively’s professional life were “immediate and substantial.” This includes Blake Brown, which launched around the same time as It Ends With Us’ theatrical release this summer.
As a result of negative chatter on social media, Lively claimed she felt she could not “proceed with public appearances or events without being forced to openly discuss what happened on set.”
One such incident allegedly included cancelling a “critical” Target corporate event for said haircare company, which she backed out of her scheduled appearance for.
The lawsuit also alleges that the retaliation campaign against Lively resulted in damage to her companies as well, like the launch of Blake Brown, which Lively had spent seven years building up to.
“The long-planned launch of her haircare line, Blake Brown — a date which was set more than a year prior to the date selected,” the documents read, “for the release of the film — was caught up in the crossfires of the negative environment against [Lively].”
Prior to when the “social manipulation” campaign was underway, the Gossip Girl actress was informed that Blake Brown was Target’s largest haircare launch on record. And based on internal sales projects the “sudden and unexpected negative media campaign launched” negatively affected retail sales of products by a whopping “56%–78%.”
What’s more, the Instagram account for the brand was allegedly flooded by “harassing and derogatory comments, including many posted by user accounts that had no followers and no prior posts,” which suggested an inauthenticity, according to court papers.
Last week, Jennifer Lopez made headlines with her response to an interviewer who brought up her age.
“Listen, I can’t believe it’s been 30 years since Selena. I can’t believe that 30 years we do the retrospective of this and you will be 60 by then,” Variety’s Senior Awards Editor, Clayton Davis, said on Sunday, December 15, in a video obtained by TMZ.
Lopez, 55, interjected to add, “Wow,” as Davis continued to comment on her age, “which is getting up there” according to the reporter. Lopez nodded at the remark, replying, “I am.”
The comment elicited laughter — as well as some confusion — from the audience, with one person asking, “Did he really just say that?”
Davis continued the conversation by applauding Lopez for “one of your best performances” yet in Unstoppable, which was released in September.
“It’s funny you think that I’m getting up there,” Lopez began, while Davis spoke up to clarify that his comment was a “joke.” Lopez appeared unfazed by the remark, and instead chose to praise the audience.
“It’s because I want to say thank you, you guys. Because we’ve been doing this a long time together. Been doing it a long time and you guys have been here with me,” Lopez said. “Today, I was singing some new songs and I went back and sang ‘If You Had My Love,’ which is my first song, 1999. It’s that thing, of like, what a journey this has been.”

The Grammy-winning singer, who’s currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, was performing at Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, December 12, in Nashville, Tennessee, when he suffered a wardrobe malfunction involving a tightly fitted harness that’s going viral.
A TikTok video filmed by a concert-goer showed Timberlake, 43, trying to adjust himself in the harness, which caused a stir among fans as it unintentionally highlighted his groin.
In the clip, Timberlake could be seen tugging at the bottom of his shirt in an attempt to cover the area. The harness is used for his performance of “Mirrors,” during which he serenades the crowd from a suspended platform.
The comments section of the video included several quips comparing Timberlake’s faux pas to a similar mishap that Chris Brown experienced during his 1:11 Tour in Canada this past summer. At the time, The Daily Mail reported on an accident that highlighted Brown’s “manhood” while The Hollywood Reporter shared a video of the singer stuck in the air mid-concert.
