  • On Thursday, season two of "The Flipping El Moussas" premiered on HGTV.
  • Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa flipped a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Los Angeles.
  • The flip took longer than they anticipated, but they still made a profit on the property.

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae El Moussa are back to flipping houses on HGTV.

In January, the couple will appear in the competition series "The Flip Off" with Tarek's ex, Christina Haack. And on Thursday, season two of Heather and Tarek's show, "The Flipping El Moussas," premiered on HGTV, diving into the couple's house-flipping business.

In the episode, Tarek and Heather flipped a three-bedroom house in Los Angeles that was filled to the brim with trash when they started the project.

As the episode opens, Tarek and Heather check out a three-bedroom, two-bath house in Los Angeles.

Tarek's company, Tarek Buys Houses, had purchased the 1,200-square-foot property for $430,000, which they said was on the low end for the area because the house was in disarray, filled with trash, rat droppings, and human feces.

They originally intended to sell the home to another flipper at wholesale, but because it was so dirty, Tarek and Heather would have had to invest money in cleaning it out before they could sell it to another flipper.

Instead, they decided to flip it themselves. They set a budget of $184,000 for renovations and hoped to sell the home for close to $1 million.

The home's large living area was full of garbage when Tarek and Heather started working on it.

The large living area had an open-concept feel, though it was difficult to see the layout when Tarek and Heather first toured the property because it was covered in debris.

Tarek said in the premiere that it took his team three days and 10 trips to the dump to clean out the property.

Tarek and Heather decided to fully open the living area during the flip.

Tarek and Heather took down the wall that separated the kitchen from the rest of the living area, making the space feel larger.

The space was full of light thanks to its white walls and the sliding glass doors that took up nearly a whole wall in the living room. Touches like beachy lighting modernized the space.

The backyard wasn't much to look at before the renovation.

The fenced-in backyard offered privacy, but that was the only redeeming quality when the El Moussas worked on the project. The grass had died, and the house wasn't in great shape.

However, the El Moussas noticed that a raised patio would create a view of the area, so they decided to add it to the property.

A patio made the house feel more luxurious.

HGTV

The episode revealed that adding the patio to the home wasn't simple. The team originally constructing it built an unstable structure and burned a hole through it, to Heather and Tarek's dismay.

But the final version of the patio created an indoor-outdoor living vibe thanks to the sliding doors.

The El Moussas also added a new fence, grass, and a gravel area to the yard for additional seating.

The kitchen was originally full of dark cabinetry.

HGTV

To make the kitchen feel grander, the El Moussas decided to place the oven and gas range in the center of the space so they were visible when you entered the home.

They had to move some windows around to make the change, which ended up causing them weeks of delays on the flip.

The delays were worth it, as the range became the centerpiece of the kitchen.

The kitchen looked cohesive with the living room, featuring white counters, appliances, and built-in open shelves.

Tarek and Heather wanted to modernize the fireplace in the living room.

A stone fireplace took up much of the central wall in the living room, but the dark color was dated and didn't fit the clean look Tarek and Heather were creating for the home.

When Tarek and Heather first walked through the house, they found that the primary bedroom had a bathroom attached to it, but it was accessible from the home's laundry room and kitchen as well.

The El Moussas decided to close off the bathroom and move the laundry room to a closet to make the bedroom bigger and have a true en suite.

Rather than one large window, the El Moussas added two windows framing the bed in the primary to give it a sense of grandeur.

Heather and Tarek's vision for the bathroom paid off, as they were able to use the former laundry room to add square footage to the bathroom.

The walk-in shower featured a bench, and tile floors with a star-shaped pattern brought a pop of color to the room.

The wooden cabinetry also matched the shelving in the living area, giving the home a sense of cohesion.

The flip took longer than the El Moussas wanted, but they still made a profit.

Due to project delays, Tarek and Heather spent 12 months flipping the property in Los Angeles.

They also spent nearly $100,000 over their original budget on the renovation and invested $276,000 in the flip. Considering the carrying and selling costs, Tarek and Heather's breakeven price for the house was $793,000.

They originally listed the house for $999,999 and got an offer of $920,000.

Over 4K Shoppers Bought This 5-in-1 Hair Styler This Month — 30% Off Today

26 December 2024 at 11:47

When it comes to styling your hair at home, achieving a salon-like look can be extra challenging without the right tools. If you’re tired of struggling with various blow dryers, round brushes and curling irons while getting ready, you might want to reevaluate the items you’re using. If you’re alternating between hair tools, trying one for a frizz-free blowout and then another to create bouncy curls, let us put you on to the Mescomb Store 5-in-1 Hair Air Styler. This pick is a lookalike for Dyson’s popular, pricy and best-selling styler — and it costs a fraction of the price at Amazon!

15 Affordable Hot Hair Styling Tools to Help You Skip the Salon

The Mescomb Store 5-in-1 Hair Air Styler makes it easy to do your hair at home. It’s crafted to create curls, straighten, volumize or dry your hair. While lightweight and compact, this hairstyler includes a powerful motor that harnesses 110,000 revolutions per minute and dry hair in as little as three to five minutes. It’s also meant to leave behind minimal heat damage as well as reduce frizz, all thanks to an included heat control function that has “three temperature settings and 12 level airflow intensities.”

Although it sounds too good to be true — especially since competitive stylers can cost upwards of $400 — over 4,000 shoppers have purchased Mescomb’s alternative this month and hundreds have given it a five-star rating.

It’s “worth every penny,” one five-star reviewer said. “Dries fast, easy to switch out each tool. Three different air speed settings and heat settings. I’ve used the dryer alone, the large brush and the air wrapping tools (two are included for alternate curling directions). My hair looks smooth and healthy. All components work well, plus it’s lightweight and easy to use. Recommend to dry hair about 80% and then use the tool to finish up.”

“I love the weight of this product,” another person wrote. “It’s so light! It dried my hair fairly quickly, and I have a lot of it! I was able to use the round brush and easily style my hair instead of needing to both blowdry and straighten. I love that when I turn it back on, it remembers the setting I last used. It has several attachments and I can’t wait to try them all, I may actually become good at doing my hair now!”

While some hair tools come with a learning curve, Amazon customers note that they quickly fell in love with this easy-to-use option.

“I’ve had this for a week and I’m obsessed,” one shopper raved. “Dryer and round brush leaves hair silky smooth. The curling attachments are also great. Bouncy wavy curls that last. I’ve tried the shark and this is just as good, if not better and for a fraction of the price!”

Hurry and add the hair styler to your cart before it’s back to its original price. 2025 may be your best hair year yet!

Everything Candace Cameron Bure Has Said About Leaving Hallmark for GAF

26 December 2024 at 11:45

Candace Cameron Bure shocked fans in April 2022 when she announced that she was leaving Hallmark Media for Great American Media.

The actress starred in 10 holiday films for Hallmark Channel during her 13 years with the network, earning her the title of “Queen of Christmas” from viewers and critics alike.

She also helmed Hallmark Mystery’s Aurora Teagarden Mysteries franchise, appearing as librarian-turned-amateur-sleuth, Aurora Teagarden, in 18 films before her 2022 departure.

Cameron Bure’s exit came one year after former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott launched the new network following his controversial handling of a same-sex commercial for the channel.

Shortly after the release of her first Great American Family holiday film in fall 2022, Cameron Bure made waves for her comments about the network’s faith-based programming. She told WSJ. Magazine that GAF aligned with her beliefs partly because they were focusing on “traditional marriage” story lines, which caused backlash from her fanbase.

Scroll down to see everything that Cameron Bure has said about her transition to Great American Media — and why Hallmark was no longer a good fit — below:

“I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch,” the Kind is the New Classy author said in an April 2022 statement. “I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose. GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family.”

©

“Candy Rock Entertainment’s mission is to bring to life compelling stories that the entire family can enjoy while feeling a sense of togetherness and connection. I’m so proud of the first of these projects because they are exactly that,” the California native said in a September 2022 press release when announcing her first holiday film for Great American Family. “A Christmas … Present is about slowing down enough to recognize what’s right in front of our eyes. The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will arrive before we know it but it’s through the quiet moments that we hear God speak to us, directing our path to what’s most important.”

©

“The truth is I’ve been under contract with Hallmark for a very, very long time. And those have been absolutely wonderful,” the A Shoe Addict’s Christmas star told Variety in September 2022. “It just so happened that my contract was expiring when Great American Family started up. So we did not start having those discussions until we were well into negotiations with Hallmark Channel for renewing. And as every business person knows, you’ve got to do what’s right for contracts. It didn’t work out with Hallmark and so we started talking to Bill.”

©

“I’m that person that just sits and watches and observes from the sidelines. Bill has just always been a champion. He’s been a champion for others through his whole career and that’s what has made him an incredible president and CEO of a company — because he knows he’s not doing it himself,” Cameron Bure told the outlet in September 2022 of the former Hallmark Channel CEO. “It takes a team and it takes loyalty and it takes people doing their best. And he acknowledges that always, which makes him a great leader. … It’s been an almost 15-year relationship.”
She added: “I trust what Bill has done over the years and that really means a lot to me. That’s also why a move to Great American Family was a good move for me because of the long standing relationship with Bill.”

©

“It absolutely is representing family. It’s representing faith, which is a really big component. They are going to move much more forward in the faith content, and having both — still having lots of movies, rom-coms and Christmas movies that don’t involve faith, but also ones that really do,” the Fuller House alum said in September 2022 of Great American Media’s focus. “I think that that’s going to be a big difference in Great American Family channel, as well as patriotic content. I love hearing stories about our veterans, about our servicemen and women, those reunions when they come home. We want to showcase all of that — all of the good that’s going on and we want to tug on those heartstrings.”

©

“It basically is a completely different network than when I started because of the change of leadership,” Cameron Bure told WSJ. Magazine in November 2022, when asked about her departure from Hallmark Media.
When it comes to the stories being featured on Great American Media’s channels, she confessed, “I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”
The comment came after Abbott’s 2020 exit from Hallmark Media following his choice to cut a same-sex commercial from the network. Hallmark has since begun to feature more diverse couplings and lead characters — but Great American Media has hinted that won’t be its focus moving forward.
“I want to be able to tell that story in a beautiful way, but also that is not off-putting to the unbeliever or someone who shares a different faith,” the former child star added.

©

Cameron Bure told the magazine in November 2022 that she was ready to make movies that didn’t include the stereotypical rom-com tropes such as cocoa dates and snowball fights that lead to forever love.
“My own kids have said, ‘Mom, are you leaving the big city and going to the farm, meeting the love of your life?’” she quipped, noting that she will still make rom-coms for Great American Media in the future. “Those are all fun things that we love, but we see over and over and over.”

©

Cameron Bure responded in November 2022 to claims that she’s a “bigot” after she told WSJ. Magazine that Great American Media would focus on “traditional marriage” story lines.
“It absolutely breaks my heart that anyone would ever think I intentionally would want to offend and hurt anyone,” she wrote in a lengthy social media statement. “It saddens me that the media is often seeking to divide us, even around a subject as comforting and merry as Christmas movies. But, given the toxic climate in our culture right now, I shouldn’t be surprised. We need Christmas more than ever.”
The former View cohost also clarified why she chose to move to Great American Media, implying that her original interview comments were taken out of context.
“I have long wanted to find a home for more faith-based programming. I am grateful to be an integral part of a young and growing network. I had also expressed in my interview, which was not included, that people of all ethnicities and identities have and will continue to contribute to the network in great ways both in front of and behind the camera, which I encourage and fully support,” she claimed. “I’ve never been interested in proselytizing through my storytelling, but in celebrating God’s greatness in our lives through the stories I tell.”

©

Cameron Bure gave insight into her reason for switching from Hallmark to Great American Family during a May 2024 Instagram Story Q&A. “It wasn’t so much about leaving as it was about an opportunity to grow a new network that puts faith and family at the forefront of its content,” she replied. “I’m very proud of the work I did at Hallmark for 15 years and love all my friends there.”
The actress explained, “I’m more than an actor. Growth in my company as well as my achievements in business is extremely important to me.” She also confirmed two new projects from Great American Family: The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries and A Christmas Less Traveled.

©

“Hallmark has been so loved for so many years, and I loved working there. So it’s like, how can you leave?” Cameron Bure exclusively told Us in November 2024, reflecting on her network move. “And it’s just like, well, things grow and things change and there are new chapters, and I love that I’m getting to build a new network and one that truly carries a message that’s more meaningful for me personally.”
She explained that with Great American Family she gets to bring “stories of faith” to the forefront. “We have ones that aren’t about faith and more in the traditional rom-com space, but our viewers really want messages that are more meaningful,” she said.
Cameron Bure added that with her new projects she is able to include “biblical message[s]” and remember “the reason we celebrate Christmas is because of the birth of Christ.”

©

Two years into her time with Great American Family, Cameron Bure told The Hollywood Reporter that they’re still “relatively new.” She explained in December 2024, “Like any new business, you have your core demographic and what you’re looking for, and you’re going to produce the product that will best suit that audience.”
Cameron Bure noted, “Most networks are not trying to be all things to all people. What really differentiates our channel from some of the other ones out there is that we’re not afraid to talk about God and God’s hand in our lives instead of fate or providence.” The actress added that Great American Family isn’t afraid to lean into “faith” that aligns with their tagline for the channel which is: “Christmas as it’s meant to be.”
With that tagline in mind, Cameron Bure has focused on finding stories that “touch the heart and have more purpose to them than just the magic of Christmas or the Santa Claus of Christmas.”
She concluded: “It’s always been the spirit of all the movies that I’ve produced. God loves all of us, and so that’s the spirit in which I make everything.”

Jennifer Lopez enjoyed time with family during her first Christmas since her divorce from Ben Affleck.

Lopez, 55, shared a series of festive photos via Instagram on Wednesday, December 25. In one snap, she posed on a bench next to child Emme, 16, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and niece Lucie, also 16. The trio held warm beverages in their hands, staying cozy in the snowy locale.

Lopez also took a selfie with sister Lynda and shared a photo of Emme and Lucie sitting by a Christmas tree dressed in matching holiday pajamas. In a separate video, Emme and twin brother Max could be seen lounging in a room by a blazing fireplace.

“Merry Christmas Eve to you and yours,” Lopez captioned the clip.

Lynda, 53, also shared a snap of the picturesque fireplace via her Instagram Story, writing, “Thank you to my sis for the most beautiful Christmas Day … 🎄 ❄@jlo.”

While Lopez spent Christmas away from Affleck, 52, the pair met up to exchange gifts on Sunday, December 22. In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Lopez and Affleck reunited at the members-only social club Soho House in West Hollywood. Affleck was seen carrying a black tote bag seemingly filled with presents.

Lopez filed for divorce in August after two years of marriage. In her divorce docs, she listed April 26 as her and Affleck’s date of separation. Although their marriage didn’t work out, Lopez and Affleck have been spotted together on several occasions since their split.

Jennifer Lopez Breaks Silence After Filing for Divorce From Ben Affleck

Earlier this month, Lopez joined Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner at a youth play. Emme was in the production along with Seraphina, 15, whom Affleck shares with Garner, 52. (Affleck and Garner also share Violet, 19, and Samuel, 12.)

In September, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Lopez and Affleck experienced “lingering doubts” about whether they were making the right decision by divorcing, especially when considering their blended family.

“There’s still a lot of love between them,” the insider shared, adding that the divorce is “going forward” nonetheless. “When they’re together as a family and see the kids together, it reminds them of how good they are as a team and what’s important.”

Jennifer Lopez Calls Twins Her 'Whole Heart' Amid Marriage Woes

A second source shared that Lopez and Affleck “know they will be in each other’s lives because of the kids and are remaining friendly.”

Lopez and Affleck have a long history together. They initially got engaged in 2002 but called off the wedding in 2004. After their respective divorces from Anthony, 56, and Garner, they rekindled their romance in 2021. However, it eventually became clear that they weren’t meant to be, a source exclusively told Us in August.

“It was more and more apparent they weren’t a good match,” the insider explained. “It boiled down to [the fact that] they are two different people. … She came to the realization things weren’t going to change and they were incompatible. Spending time apart — it became obvious it wouldn’t work.”

"Nonsense": Panama's president slams Trump's claims that Chinese soldiers operate in canal

26 December 2024 at 17:53

Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino on Thursday vehemently denied President-elect Trump's claims of Chinese interference in the Panama Canal.

Why it matters: Trump has accused Panamanian authorities of charging "exorbitant" shipping rates and cited the increasing dominance of China's government in trade throughout the Americas as a reason to take control of the Panama Canal, one of the world's most crucial pieces of infrastructure that the U.S. ceded in 1999.

Driving the news: The president-elect doubled down in a Christmas Day message, writing on Truth Social: "Merry Christmas to all, including to the wonderful soldiers of China, who are lovingly, but illegally, operating the Panama Canal."

What they're saying: "There is absolutely not any interference" from China or any other nation in the operation of the canal, Mulino said during a Thursday briefing, emphasizing that Panama is open for business equally to all interested parties.

  • "If they're Chinese, if they're Costa Rican, if they're American, all are welcome who want to invest in the country. There is no discrimination here in foreign investment," he said.
  • "There are no Chinese soldiers in the canal, for the love of God," added an animated Mulino, addressing Trump's post directly. "It's nonsense. There is not a single Chinese soldier in the canal."
  • Representatives for Trump did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment in the evening.

Between the lines: China's government has in recent years heavily invested in operations in the Canal Zone, raising concerns about its neutrality.

  • It's the primary source of products going through the Colón Free Trade Zone, a free port in Panama dedicated to re-exporting a variety of merchandise to Latin America and the Caribbean, noted the Center for Strategic and International Studies in 2021.
  • Beijing's "increasing presence in and around the Canal has made the waterway a flashpoint for U.S.-China competition over spheres of influence," added the CSIS in the report.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Reveals Her Experience With Ageism in Hollywood

26 December 2024 at 11:23

Jennifer Love Hewitt has been a bonafide Hollywood starlet since the 1990s — and she’s opening up about the unrealistic expectations that come with being in the spotlight for decades.

“I feel like fans pick this age that they love that they think represents you, and you’re never supposed to grow beyond that,” Hewitt, 45, told Fox New Digital in an interview published on Thursday, December 26. “For me, it was like me and my 20s. People seem to have a really hard time accepting that I don’t look that way anymore.”

While Hewitt started her acting career at a young age on Kids Incorporated, she had her first big break at 16 years old when she landed the role of Sarah Reeves on Fox’s Party of Five. Two years later, she became a global sensation with 1997’s slasher hit I Know What You Did Last Summer and its subsequent sequel. She has since starred in shows like Time of Your Life, The Client List and Ghost Whisperer, and released four studio albums.

While some may have had trouble watching her evolve over the years, Hewitt — who shares kids, Autumn, 11, Atticus, 9, and Aidan, 3, with husband Brian Hallisay — sees aging as a beautiful thing.

“Age is age,” she explained. “I think women really come into this acceptance of themselves and comfortability in their 40s that is beautiful.”

These days, she stars as Maddie Buckley on ABC procedural 9-1-1 and just released The Holiday Junkie, a TV film which she directed and starred in.

“It’s hard because I think as humans, we want to evolve,” she continued. “We want to have lines on our faces, and you know our boobs be lower from breast-feeding our children, or, you know, our butt’s bigger.”

However, Hewitt is only human, and can’t help but occasionally notice trolls’ comments on social media.

7 Times Celebs Clapped Back At Aging Comments

“Whatever it is, you just want to have the freedom to be whoever you are at that age,” she explained. “And it’s hurtful sometimes when people reject you as you are verbally on Instagram or the internet because they’re having a hard time adjusting to it.”

The criticism reached a boiling point last year when Hewitt posted a photo of herself with no makeup, leading to claims that she was “unrecognizable.” She addressed the photo on a December 2023 episode of Michael Rosenbaum’s “Inside of You” podcast.

“The picture ended up somewhere. And a bunch of people were like, ‘Jennifer Love Hewitt is unrecognizable,'” she said. “’She’s unrecognizable and so she’s gone to filters because she doesn’t want us to know how bad she actually looks now in her 40s.’ And I was like, ‘This is crazy.’ Right?”

Hewitt also took time to look back at her younger self and offer some advice to the teenager who graced the cover of Maxim at age 17.

“Look, it’s going to work out. You’re going to start getting old, and they’re still going to let you do things,” she said. “It’s OK. You’re fine.”

Justin Baldoni and Gina Rodriguez evolved from onscreen love interests to best friends.

The duo met on the set of Jane the Virgin, which premiered on The CW in 2014. Based on a Venezuelan telenovela, Jane the Virgin starred Rodriguez as devout virgin Jane who became pregnant after an accidental artificial insemination by her gynecologist while Baldoni played Rafael a.k.a the father of her baby.

Before Jane the Virgin came to an end five seasons later, Baldoni reflected on the impact the show had on his life.

“What a magical experience @cwjanethevirgin was. Even from the audition there was something so special / magical about it,” he wrote via Instagram in 2019. “Its a longer story for another time but we set our intention from the beginning (actually before the official beginning) to be of service with our work. Love @hereisgina — so proud of all the bad ass magic she is creating right now.”

Baldoni went on to praise Rodriguez as a scene partner, adding in a separate post, “So proud of my soul sister @hereisgina. I’ve been watching her create magic for the last five years, I’ve seen how hard she works both on screen and off to create change and make a difference.”

He continued: “The business deals in between scenes, the love and respect for the crew and family, the 14 hour days and press on the weekends, the fight for representation and care to always look to cast and hire the marginalized and under-represented. She is so full of love and talent and I am so damn proud to call her a friend.”

Rodriguez was just as proud of Baldoni amid his success as a director and producer. “Justin is also one of my closest friends and we talk all the time,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2024.

Rodriguez and Baldoni originally crossed paths after being cast on Jane the Virgin. When the series premiered, Jane (Rodriguez) was dating boyfriend Michael (Brett Dier) but soon her feelings for the baby's father, Rafael (Baldoni), made her question what she really wanted for her future.

Over the years, Rodriguez shared sweet selfies of her and Baldoni, writing via Instagram, "Me and TV baby daddy. Days with @justinbaldoni are awesome 👪."
Baldoni, meanwhile, gushed over Rodriguez as Jane the Virgin received critical acclaim.
"Over the last year, I've watched as my friend went from being an unknown actress with all the talent and potential in the world, to winning a Golden Globe and being nominated for every other possible award ... all while becoming a household name and a role model to millions and millions of people," he captioned a post. "This woman inspires everyone she meets, and is doing so much good with her celebrity and is giving a voice to a massive group of people who've been waiting for someone like her for decades. ... If you met Gina and spend a few minutes with her — you would understand not only how deserving she is, but how needed she is in this business."
Baldoni continued: "@hereisgina You, my dear, are loved. You are beautiful. And you are extraordinary. You set an example for us all to strive to be a better version of ourselves."

"This is a special gratitude post for @hereisgina, my bad-ass acting partner and friend, who I've witnessed time and time again over the last 3 years put everything she has into our show. Who is in almost every scene, and usually ends up working 14 hour days every day," Baldoni wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of him and Rodriguez. "She is a warrior and never shows how tired her body probably really is. Who even on minimal sleep, somehow always knows her lines and always delivers insane, emotional and brilliant performances that make America laugh & weep every week. But perhaps most importantly, is someone who treats everyone she meets with love and respect no matter how overworked, tired, or stressed she might be."
Baldoni referred to his costar as "nothing short of a superhero."
"I can write this because I've seen it firsthand, over and over again," he gushed. "Grateful for you today G. Thanks for inspiring all of us. And since you dedicate one day a week to lifting up and recognizing others in this business who are doing great things… I think it's only fair that you let us do the same thing for you. #icaniwill #janethevirgin #loveyouTVbabymamma #warrior."

After having "a rough week," Baldoni issued a public thank you to Rodriguez.
"If it weren’t for the beautiful support and direction by my friend/ TV baby Mamma @hereisgina — I’m not sure I would have been able to get through my work in this episode," he wrote via Instagram. "Thank you Gina for holding the space, and the beautiful and thoughtful direction. Her talent is real people."

During an exclusive interview with Us, Rodriguez revealed which of her Jane the Virgin costars she would want to reunite with on her ABC game show, Lucky 13.
"I would love Justin to come," she shared. "Justin would definitely come. Justin is super busy. But Justin is also one of my closest friends and we talk all the time. I could get him to come on the show."

Rodriguez called Baldoni her "my brother forever" when she told People in August 2024 he was "hands down the person" she stayed in touch with "the most" from Jane the Virgin.
Baldoni reacted in a separate interview with the outlet. "You know what? That came at a very special time for me and that meant a lot," he noted in October 2024. "She really showed up for me. That was really sweet. That was really sweet. She's a sweetheart. She's family forever."
He continued: "I'd love to work with her. She's so talented. I hope it's a movie that she directs. She's a fantastic director, so I would love to act in something that she directs. People don't realize how gifted she really is also behind the scenes. She's a real filmmaker."
Two months later, Baldoni's costar Blake Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against him. Lively claimed Baldoni created a “hostile work environment” on set that caused her “severe emotional distress.” The lawsuit also alleged that Baldoni “ignored well-established industry protocols in filming intimate scenes, and exploited the lack of controls on set to behave inappropriately.”
Baldoni denied the allegations against him in a statement to Us from his lawyer Bryan Freedman. The attorney referred to Lively’s claims as “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious,” while alleging she filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the film’s production.
