The royals have a longstanding tradition of enjoying an annual family stroll to St Mary Magdalene Church near Sandringham House on Christmas Day, and they carried on with the custom on Wednesday, December 25, despite the family’s recent hardships.
Kate, 42, decked out in a festive green coat and matching hat, and William, also 42, walked alongside their children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. King Charles and Queen Camilla led the royal family’s Christmas Day walk while greeting well-wishers, with pregnant Princess Beatrice joining the event with husband Edoardo Mappelli Mozzi and his son Christopher, 8.
The outing comes nearly one year after Buckingham Palace revealed Charles, 76, and Kate’s, 42, respective health issues. Both of the royals were hospitalized in January — Charles underwent a “corrective procedure” for a benign prostate enlargement and Kate had a “planned” abdominal surgery.
Charles reflected on the royal family’s challenging year during his annual speech on Wednesday.
“I am speaking to you today from the Chapel of the former Middlesex Hospital in London – now itself a vibrant Community space – and thinking especially of the many thousands of professionals and volunteers here in the United Kingdom and across the Commonwealth who, with their skills and out of the goodness of their heart, care for others – often at some cost to themselves,” he said. “From a personal point of view, I offer special, heartfelt thanks to the selfless doctors and nurses who, this year, have supported me and other members of my family through the uncertainties and anxieties of illness, and have helped provide the strength, care and comfort we have needed.”
Charles continued: “I am deeply grateful, too, to all those who have offered us their own kind words of sympathy and encouragement. … All of us go through some form of suffering at some stage in our life, be it mental or physical. The degree to which we help one another — and draw support from each other, be we people of Faith or of none — is a measure of our civilization as Nations. This is what continually impresses me, as my family and I meet with, and listen to, those who dedicate their lives to helping others.”
In February, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Charles was diagnosed with cancer during his hospital stay the previous month, though the type and stage has remained private. As a result, he “commenced a schedule of regular treatments” and postponed his public duties for the time being. Charles eventually stepped back into his public role in April as he continued to receive treatments.
As for Kate, in March — and after months of online speculation and conspiracy theories — she announced she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and was in the “early stages” of “preventive chemotherapy” treatments. She added at the time that the news came as a “huge shock,” noting that she and William had “been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
Kate subsequently confirmed in September that she had completed treatment, emphasizing that the “last nine months” had been “incredibly tough for us as a family.” She shared that she was doing everything she could “to stay cancer free,” although her “path to healing and full recovery” was still “long.”
Later that month, Kate returned to her public-facing royal duties for the first time since her health scare.

Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on Travis Kelce as his Kansas City Chiefs took on the Houston Texans.
The pop star, 35, was spotted at the Saturday, December 21, home game, the final game taking place at the Chiefs’ Kansas City, Missouri, stadium during the 2024-2025 NFL regular season. Swift rocked a red jacket with fur trim with knee-high black boots coordinated with a black bucket hat. Swift’s mom, Andrea, and dad, Scott, accompanied her.
Kelce, 35, and his teammates will finish out the regular season with away games against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, December 25, and the Denver Broncos at a yet-to-be-determined date. The Chiefs’ season won’t end there, though, as they have already clinched a spot in the playoffs.
“When she thought she was going to a small, quiet dinner but it was actually a giant surprise party with her friends and family, props included ,” Swift’s pal Ashley Avignone captioned a Thursday, December 19, Instagram post with photos from the gathering.
In a series of images shared by attendees, Swift posed with her inner circle — including Avignone, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, the Haim sisters, Jerrod Carmichael and Lyndsay Bell — as guests wore Eras-inspired outfits. She also danced with Kelce and smiled as he placed a black hat on her head in a nod to the “22” portion of her concert. Kelce, meanwhile, was dressed in a black tuxedo and top hat, referencing his on-stage cameo during one of Swift’s London shows in June.
JoJo Edwards-Helaire, the wife of Kelce’s teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire, also confirmed in a TikTok comment that the “congratulations party” was “a surprise from Trav.”
As for whether an engagement is on the horizon for the couple, a second insider noted that they are not rushing it.
“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the second insider revealed. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
Andi Dorfman and her husband, Blaine Hart, have welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Harper.

In March 2023, Dorfman opened up about her strong connection with Hart, revealing how she knew he was right for her.
“I didn’t ever think he wasn’t The One,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “I don’t remember having that moment where I’m like, ‘Oh, yeah, this is the man I’m gonna marry.’ We weren’t ever not together, and we never had a bad time and it just built up into what we have now.”

The holiday card comes at the conclusion of a difficult year for the family of five. Kensington Palace announced in January that Kate underwent a “planned” abdominal surgery. At the time, she retreated from the public eye to focus on her recovery.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. Kate addressed the snafu at the time. “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing,” she wrote in a statement posted via X. “I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. The incident was not the first time William, 42, and Kate were accused of photoshopping their pictures. Royal watchers pointed out apparent inconsistencies with the couple’s 2023 holiday card, including what some believed to be extra limbs and missing extremities.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the pair were “embarrassed” people thought their card — which showed the family posing in matching button-downs and pants — was heavily edited, adding that they “were as shocked as everyone else” by the backlash to the black-and-white photo.
The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Karen Huger has received a verdict in her DUI trial nine months after her Maryland car accident.
Huger, 61, was found guilty on nearly all charges except reckless driving, her rep told Peopleon Wednesday, December 18. She is scheduled to be sentenced on January 29.
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told People in a Wednesday statement. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
Huger was involved in a car accident in Potomac, Maryland, in March. The Montgomery County Police told TMZ at the time that Huger was driving her 2017 Maserati in an “aggressive manner” in Potomac, Maryland, when she struck an intersection crosswalk sign and a parking sign.
She was not arrested but received multiple citations from police at the time. She was later charged with a DUI and DWI.
Following the accident, Huger released a lengthy statement about her state of mind leading up to the crash.
“Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes during this very frightening experience. I am still in shock from last night’s incident but grateful to be alive today. With the passing of my beloved mother, grief comes and goes in waves, and with Mother’s Day approaching it has felt more like a tsunami,” she told TMZ in March. “Last night I met a girlfriend for dinner, we talked and brought up some very emotionally sensitive topics. I was crying on my way home and saw a car heading right for me. I swerved to avoid the head-on collision, hit the divider and then a tree. I’m hurt, bruised up a bit, but so grateful I am alive! I did receive citations, one of which was unrelated to the incident which is understandable, but what was most surprising is that the car that almost hit me just drove away!”
She concluded: “I would like to stress, it’s important to understand your emotional state when driving and may this be a reminder to all to use their seatbelts. My mother may be my guardian angel, but the seatbelt saved my life.”
During Huger’s trial, body camera footage showed her saying she was “hammered” and appearing to slur her words.
Multiple witnesses also testified during the trial, including an EMT who claimed that Huger refused treatment at the scene of the accident and “swayed” when she attempted to get into an ambulance.
Huger has been an original cast member on The Real Housewives of Potomac since its 2016 premiere. The Bravo reality show is currently in its ninth season, which kicked off in October, and has followed the aftermath of the DUI.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made the season bright with their 2024 holiday card, featuring children Archie and Lilibet.
The couple shared a glimpse at their home life as the parents of two via their annual card, which was released on Monday, December 16. “We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year,” the card read.
Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, included several photos of their travels over the past year to celebrate the holiday season. However, it is the rare glimpse at Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, that has fans talking.
In one photo, the children can be seen running to give their mom and dad a hug while their dogs run around their backyard. While the kids’ faces aren’t shown, they both have red locks like Harry. In the snap, Harry and Meghan are all smiles.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have carried on the royal tradition of sending holiday wishes via a personal card each year since they tied the knot in May 2018.
That December, the pair shared a new photo from their private wedding reception at Frogmore House. In the black-and-white image, they wrapped their arms around each other as they watched fireworks overhead.

“It’s all because of the labor laws. The number of hours that children are allowed to work are highly restricted, which limits the amount of time that producers can actually have adolescents on set,” casting director Todd Thaler told Vice in May 2017. “Within those limited hours that children can work, part of that time includes education, rest and meals.”

The "Sober" singer and the former One Direction member made headlines in March 2023 when they were spotted spending time together in New York City and sharing a kiss, per Entertainment Tonight.

“Forever begins now,” Gomez, 32, captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 11, that showed off her engagement ring. Blanco, 36, celebrated the milestone moment, writing in the comments section, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
The couple collaborated together on a handful of songs — including her 2015 hit “Same Old Love” — before becoming romantically involved in 2023. After sparking dating rumors with Blanco, Gomez confirmed their relationship in December 2023, revealing that they had been together for “six months.”
“He is my absolute everything in my heart,” she wrote in an Instagram comment at the time. “He [has] been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. The end. … He’s still better than anyone I’ve been with. Facts.”
The following month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Gomez had “never been with anyone like” Blanco.

Five artists competed to win season 26 of The Voice, but only one walked away with the victory.
Sofronio Vasquez was crowned the champion during the Tuesday, December 10, finale. After Jeremy Beloate,Danny Joseph and Syndey Sterlace were revealed as the bottom three, Vasquez was announced as the winner with Shye coming in as runner up. Both of the final two finalists hailed from coach Michael Bublé’s team, marking his first win on the NBC series.
“My Filipino brother, you are the hope of so many people. … It has been such an unbelievable journey to be here with you,” Bublé told Vasquez before host Carson Daly announced him as the winner.
The live episode also featured performances by former coaches Kelly Clarkson and Dan + Shay as well as Snoop Dogg and Sting, Riley Green and Ella Langley, Tears for Fears, Myles Smith and more.
Ahead of the two-night finale, the first part of which aired on Monday, December 9, the top five artists were announced, with each of the coaches — Reba McEntire, Snoop, Gwen Stefani and Bublé — seeing contestants from their team advance. Joseph represented Team Reba, Beloate competed on behalf of Team Snoop and Sterlace kept Team Gwen’s hopes alive. Meanwhile, Team Bublé had two members make it to the finale: Vasquez and Shye.
During the December 3 semifinals episode, viewers voted to keep Sofronio, Sydney, Jeremy and Shye in the competition. Danny then performed The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” in the Wildcard Instant Save round, beating out Team Snoop’s Christina Eagle, Team Reba’s Adam Bohanan and Team Gwen’s Jan Dan to advance to the finale.
Season 26 marked the arrival of new coaches Snoop, 53, and Bublé, 49. McEntire, 69, returned after making her coaching debut during season 24 in 2023, while Stefani, 55, has appeared on a total of eight seasons since 2014.
Stefani and McEntire both have one previous win under their belts, with Carter Rubin on season 19 in 2020 and Asher HaVon on season 25 in May, respectively. Rubin and HaVon each made history with their victories, as Rubin became the youngest male winner ever at age 15 and HaVon was the first openly LGBTQ contestant to be named the show’s champion.
While season 26 has just ended, fans already know that The Voice is in for some major changes during season 27, which is set to premiere in February 2025. Bublé is the only coach from this season who will return for the next. Past viewer favorites John Legend and Adam Levine will be back, though. Legend, 45, previously appeared on nine seasons from 2019 to 2024; Levine, 45, was an original judge who exited the show in 2019 after 16 seasons. Kelsea Ballerini will round out the lineup of coaches as she makes her debut in the role.
The results of a Penn State University police investigation into an altercation between Jason Kelce and a football fan have been revealed.
A spokeswoman for Penn State University Police told TMZ Sports on Tuesday, December 10 that the case has been closed: “The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property.”
Jason, 37, made headlines on November 2 when a heckler approached him at the Penn State vs. Ohio State football game in Pennsylvania and made a homophobic comment about his brother, Travis Kelce, amid the 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
“Hey, Kelce. How does it feel your brother’s a f— dating Taylor Swift?” the person said.
Two days after the altercation, Jason broke his silence during the November 4 episode of ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown.
“I’m not happy with anything that took place. I’m not proud of it,” he said at the time. “Within a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate and I don’t think that’s a productive thing. I don’t think it leads to discourse.”
He added, “In that moment I fell down to a level that I shouldn’t have. Bottom line is, I try to live my life by the golden rules. That’s what I’ve always been taught. I try to treat people with decency and respect. I’m going to keep doing that moving forward.”
Jason went into more detail during the November 6 episode of his and Travis’ “New Heights” podcast.
“I’m just gonna address it because I feel like it needs one more time and then hopefully we can stop talking about this really stupid situation that occurred,” he began. “I’m not happy about the situation. Me reacting gave him the time of day and it also gave the situation notoriety. That’s what I regret. It didn’t deserve attention, it’s really stupid. And if I just keep walking it’s a nothing burger, nobody sees it. Now it’s out there and it just perpetuates more hate.”
He continued, “The thing that I regret the most is saying that word, to be honest with you, and the word he used is just f—ing ridiculous. And it takes it to another level. It’s just off the wall, f—ing over the line. It’s dehumanizing and it got under my skin and it elicited a reaction. In the heat of the moment, I thought, ‘Hey, what can I say back to him? I’m gonna throw this s— right back into his face. F— him.’ I know now that I shouldn’t have done that because now there’s a video out there with me saying that word, him saying that word, and it’s not good for anybody.”
Jason noted that his biggest “regret” about the ordeal “is that now there’s a video that is very hateful that is now online that has been seen by millions of people,” concluding, “I share fault in perpetuating it and having that out there.”
Travis, meanwhile, applauded his brother for taking accountability for the incident. “The real situation is you had some f—ing clown come up to you and talk about your family, and you reacted in a way that was defending your family,” he said on the podcast. “You might have used some words that you regret using, and that’s a situation that you just gotta kind of learn from and own. And I think you owning it and you speaking about it shows how sincere you are to a lot of people in this world.”
The continued investigation into Liam Payne’s death could result in more charges following a previous indictment of three individuals.
Court documents obtained by Rolling Stone on Tuesday, December 10 reveal that a judge is weighing charges against two employees at the CasaSur Palermo hotel — including the receptionist who called 911 and hotel manager.
“Since there is sufficient reason to suspect that they have participated in the investigated act, we ask that the following people give a statement,” the court docs read, noting that the two individuals will be notified of the accusation. Rolling Stone reported that the documents do not list what they will be charged with.
The publication also reported that the receptionist — who made two 911 calls the morning Payne died — is still working at the hotel. Rolling Stone also shared details from the 911 call, telling dispatchers that a guest had “too many drugs and alcohol” and was “trashing the entire room.”
There was also apparently a second 911 call made in which the receptionist stated that one guest’s life “may be in danger.”
“Are you sending the police as well, or not?” he asked in the second call, per Rolling Stone, asking the dispatcher to “just” send the SAME, which is Argentina’s emergency medical services.
Us Weekly previously confirmed that Payne died on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. He was 31.
Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti said at the time that Payne suffered “serious injuries” that first responders were unable to treat by the time they arrived on the scene at CasaSur Palermo Hotel.
Payne’s preliminary autopsy report stated that he died from multiple injuries involving “internal and external hemorrhage” and suffered “multiple traumas” that contributed to his death.
ABC News later reported that a partial autopsy revealed Payne had “pink cocaine” — a recreational drug that typically mixes methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA — as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine and crack in his system at the time of his death.
The prosecutor’s office announced on November 7 that three individuals were charged with abandonment leading to death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics in connection to Payne’s passing.
Prosecutor Andrés Esteban Madrea requested the arrests of the three people in a 180-page indictment submitted by Judge Laura Graciela Bruniard.
“The first defendant, a companion of the artist during his stay in Buenos Aires, has been charged with abandonment leading to death — a crime under Article 106 of the Criminal Code, punishable by five to 15 years in prison — in conjunction with the supply and facilitation of narcotics (Article 5, Section E of the Narcotics Law No. 23.737),” the statement read.
The statement continued, “The second defendant, a hotel employee, is charged with providing Payne cocaine on two occasions while he stayed at the hotel, and the third defendant, also a narcotics supplier, is charged with two additional confirmed instances of cocaine supply on October 14. Both are charged with narcotics supply (Article 5, Section E of Law No. 23.737).”
The forensic team also ruled out “self-harm or third-party involvement” in connection with Payne’s death, noting that his “lack of defensive posture upon impact suggests [he] may have fallen in a semi- or fully unconscious state.”
In the wake of the indictment, Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Noresdenied being involved in the singer’s death.
“I never abandoned Liam. I went to his hotel three times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores told the Daily Mail in a November 7 statement. “There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left. I could have never imagined something like this would happen.”
Nores added that he was “heartbroken” by the tragedy and has been “missing my friend every day.”
Braian Nahuel Paiz, a suspect whom Payne met at the restaurant where Paiz works as a waiter, also denied supplying drugs to Payne. Paiz told Argentina’s Telefe Noticias in a November 9 interview that Payne “was already under the effects of drugs” at the restaurant. The two swapped information and later met up at Payne’s hotel, with Paiz claiming, “We took drugs together, but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money.”
Reba McEntire proved she is more than just a country superstar when she led her own TV show — appropriately called Reba.
The sitcom ran for six seasons from October 2001 to February 2007. McEntire starred as a single mother raising her three children — played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Scarlett Pomers and Mitch Holleman — alongside her ex-husband (Christopher Rich) and his new wife (Melissa Peterman).
In the years since the series concluded, the cast has remained close. Swisher revealed in June 2019 that her daughters consider McEntire family. “She’s very much Auntie Reba,” the Sweet Magnolias star exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “She spoils quite a bit. She doesn’t babysit because when I see her, I want to be with her.”
Swisher also teased a potential Reba revival at the time. “I definitely think it’s possible and I think everybody would love to,” she said. “There is so much love there and such fond memories of our time on the show. The list of nominees for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards proves that the stars will be shining bright at the 82nd annual ceremony.
Mindy Kaling and Morris Chestnut announced the nominations — which honor accomplishments in both film and television — on Monday, December 9.
Nikki Glaser is set to host the awards show for the first time on Sunday, January 5. The comedian, 40, noted in an August press release that it was “an exciting yet challenging gig because it’s live, unpredictable and in front of Hollywood’s biggest stars.”
“Some of my favorite jokes of all time have come from past Golden Globes opening monologues when Tina [Fey], Amy [Poehler] or Ricky [Gervais] have said exactly what we all didn’t know we desperately needed to hear,” she continued. “I just hope to continue in that time-honored tradition (that might also get me canceled). This is truly a dream job. Plus, I no longer have to feel guilty for every TV show and movie I’ve binged over the past year. It was all worth it.”
The Golden Globes, which first took place in 1944, have undergone several changes in recent years. The 2022 ceremony was not televised after stars boycotted due to a 2021 Los Angeles Times report that revealed the Hollywood Foreign Press Association — the organization of journalists that was responsible for awarding the Golden Globes at the time — had no Black members.
Although the HFPA vowed to diversify their membership and the Golden Globes returned to NBC with A-listers in attendance in 2023, the HFPA ultimately dissolved the following year, with Dick Clark Productions acquiring the Golden Globes and CBS signing a deal to air the awards show moving forward.

The 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards will air on CBS Sunday, January 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
Taylor Swift had a few more tricks up her sleeve during the final performance of her Eras Tour.
The pop star, 34, took the stage at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8, which marked her last show of the tour. In a poignant moment, Swift performed a three-way mash-up for Sunday’s surprise song, giving lucky fans a rendition of “Long Live” mixed with “New Year’s Day” and The Tortured Poets Department track “The Manuscript.”
As one fan pointed out via X, her final surprise song on the Eras Tour was rather fitting: “First surprise song: tim mcgraw, last surprise song: the manuscript, the first and last song of her discography.”
Swift also paid homage to her long-running tour by changing the lyrics of “Long Live” from, “It was the end of a decade,” to, “It was the end of an era / But the start of an age.”
Closing out the show, Swift thanked fans for “being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.” The pop star then segued into one last song, “Karma,” lifted from 2022’s Midnights, and as she has done throughout the tour, gave a little shout-out to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, by singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
Swift kicked off the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, performing throughout the United States until August 2023. The singer then embarked on the international leg of the tour, making stops in South America, Asia, Australia and Europe from November 2023 to this August. In October, Swift returned to North America for a handful of final shows in the U.S. and Canada.
In total, Swift performed 149 sold-out concerts across five continents over the course of nearly two years, making the Eras Tour the highest-grossing tour of all time.
Swift previously opened up to TIME in December 2023 about her mission to “superserve the fans” with her biggest tour ever. (The three-and-a-half hour concert took attendees through her musical eras via a massive 45-song setlist which, after the April release of The Tortured Poets Department, included hits from her latest album and a cameo from her NFL star boyfriend.)
“They had to work really hard to get the tickets,” she explained at the time. “I wanted to play a show that was longer than they ever thought it would be because that makes me feel good leaving the stadium.”
Swift gushed that the Eras Tour made her “the most fulfilled I’ve ever felt” in my life.
“I know I’m going on that stage whether I’m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable or stressed,” she added. “That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.”
In June, Swift confirmed that the tour would come to an end in December, calling the venture “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life.”
“I think that this tour has really become my entire life,” she continued. “It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore. All I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mash-ups and think about what you might want to hear.”
Amid her record-breaking tour, Swift achieved a bevy of professional accomplishments, including the chart-topping releases of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department — which inspired her to revamp her entire show to include the new music — and her rerecordings of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version). Additionally, she ensured that the tour will live on for years to come through her concert film.
Swift has also dealt with several changes in her personal life since the Eras Tour began, with the most notable being her relationship with Kelce, 35, which began after he attended one of her concerts in the summer of 2023.
“She’s here!! Gemma Britt Kufe ,” Hubbard, 38, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, December 8, alongside a photo of her and boyfriend Turner Kufe holding on to their infant’s hands.
Hubbard announced in July that she and Kufe — whose identity she did not publicly reveal at the time — were expecting.
“Trigger Warning: This post contains more fireworks than the 4th of July! WE’RE PREGNANT!!!!! ,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I truly believe the universe has a bigger plan and this is it! The second I had a feeling, I took a @clearblue Early Digital Pregnancy Test and getting a clear result, in words, made the next steps sooo much easier. My boyfriend and I are beyond excited to welcome our little #HubbCub this Holiday season 2024!!”
In an interview with People that followed, Hubbard explained the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy.
“It was a surprise and a shock at first because we were not trying or even planning, but we had some honest conversations and it just felt so right for both of us,” she told the outlet, adding that the couple had only been together for a few months when she took a pregnancy test.
“It immediately and unmistakably displayed with words ‘You are pregnant’ and as shocking as that was, having a really clear result just helped alleviate the unknown,” she continued. “Those next steps are a little scary, but at least they’re easier just knowing one way or another what you’re working with.”
Hubbard and her boyfriend — who is a doctor working in biotech investing — began dating in January. They went out a few times in 2020, but their romance fizzled out because he was reluctant to settle down. He reached back out to her in December 2023 after news broke of her split from ex-fiancé Carl Radke. (Us Weekly confirmed in August 2023 that Radke called off their engagement just three months before their wedding.)
“We have a very loving, caring and healthy relationship. I finally feel like I met my match with him,” she said of her beau. “He’s just so excited to be a dad and proud to be having a child with me.”
Hubbard acknowledged that the situation could be difficult but emphasized she and her boyfriend were already navigating it well. “It just means the world to have someone like him by my side,” she gushed. “And yes, it is a lot of pressure on a new relationship, but I think because he’s the right man because we are so bonded and connected and communicate very effectively with each other that it hasn’t felt like work.”
“I’m sure he’ll find out when the rest of the world finds out, but I’m not calling him up and having a conversation with him,” she told People.
“That relationship is in my past, and I can’t really focus on my past anymore because I’m so focused on my present and my future,” she added. “And to be honest, his emotions are no longer my responsibility. It’s just not my problem anymore.”

It’s the beginning of the end for the Eras Tour, as Taylor Swift performed the first two of her final concerts in Vancouver, Canada.
The pop star, 34, took the stage at BC Place on Friday, December 6, and again on Saturday, December 7, before her last-ever Eras Tour show on Sunday, December 8. While most of Saturday’s shows (including outfits) were repeated from the night before, Swift did have one new surprise up her sleeve.
“Tonight is the last opportunity Gracie [Abrams] and I have to perform together on this tour,” Swift said during her acoustic section on Saturday.
The two singers then performed Swift’s “Last Kiss” and Abrams’ “I Love You, I’m Sorry.” (They previously duetted during previous Eras shows in Cincinnati, London and Toronto, performing a mashup of their song “Us” off Abrams’ The Secret of Us album and Swift’s 1989 hit “Out of the Woods.”)
Swift has been on the Eras Tour since March 2023, when she kicked off the venture in Glendale, Arizona. When the tour concludes, she will have performed a total of 149 shows across 50 cities and five continents.
During her previous stop in Toronto, Swift became emotional on stage while receiving a standing ovation after “Champagne Problems.” She expressed her gratitude for her fans and the team that has supported her throughout the Eras Tour.
“We’re at the very end of this tour, so you doing that, you have no idea how much it means to me and to my band and to my crew and everybody who’s put so much of this into this tour,” she told the audience while wiping away tears and getting choked up. “I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. I’m just having a bit of a moment. I’m sorry. It’s not even the last show!”

She continued: “My band, my crew [and] all my fellow performers, we have put so much of our lives into this, and you put so much of your lives into being with us tonight and to [be] giving us that moment that we will never forget. We have loved our time in Toronto; it’s been so amazing. I love you, guys, thank you so much for that.”
With the nearly two-year tour winding down, Swift has reportedly already made plans for her next era. According to a source who spoke exclusively to Us Weekly earlier this week, she hopes to hit the road again in 2026 for a scaled-back tour.
“She had such a great experience on Eras. She really wants to do it again,” the source revealed. “She loves being with all her fans; it inspires her.”
However, Swift’s schedule could change depending on her personal life. (She has been dating Travis Kelce since the summer of 2023, and fans have been eagerly awaiting news of their next steps.)
“Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the source said of a potential engagement for the couple. “That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.”
A second insider told Us that while Swift and Kelce, 35, would both “love to be engaged,” they “aren’t rushing it.”
In the immediate aftermath of the tour’s conclusion, Swift “plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the insider shared, noting that they “want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.”
“Taylor’s exhausted,” the insider added. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
The duo shared their card on the royal family’s social media accounts Sunday, December 8, writing, “Christmas is coming… Their Majesties are pleased to share this year’s Christmas card, taken by Millie Pilkington in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace in April 2024.”
In the photo, Charles, 76, wears a gray suit and blue tie while Camilla, 77, coordinates in a blue dress. The card reads, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”
The royal couple, who have been married since April 2005, have dealt with a barrage of medical issues this year. The ordeal began when Charles underwent a “corrective procedure” for a benign prostate enlargement in January. The following month, Buckingham Palace announced that “a separate issue of concern was noted” during the king’s hospitalization and “subsequent diagnostic tests … identified a form of cancer.”
Although the palace did not provide specifics on the type or stage of cancer, the statement confirmed that Charles had “commenced a schedule of regular treatments” and he would be postponing his “public-facing duties” for the time being.
Royal expert Rebecca English reported to the Daily Mail in October that Charles was putting his cancer treatments on “pause” to travel to Australia and Samoa later that month. Doctors were reportedly “happy” to briefly halt the treatments for the sake of the trip, with English noting that they would resume upon his return to the U.K. from the nine-day tour.
Two months earlier, Charles shared a minor update on his progress, saying during an August appearance in Southport, England, that he was “not too bad.”
As Charles battled cancer, Camilla faced her own health setback in November. “Her Majesty The Queen is currently unwell with a chest infection, for which her doctors have advised a short period of rest,” Buckingham Palace said in a November 5 statement to the BBC, adding that Camilla needed to withdraw from some previously scheduled engagements as a result of her diagnosis.
Although Camilla was expected to recover quickly, she was ultimately forced to cancel additional appearances at Remembrance Day and the London premiere of Gladiator II later that month. She returned to some of her royal duties on November 12, but Buckingham Palace later confirmed that she had been suffering from pneumonia.
As a result, Camilla was unable to attend the outdoor portions of a two-day state visit to the U.K. from the emir of Qatar. However, she was on hand for an indoor luncheon on December 3, where she told guests that she contracted pneumonia after her and Charles’ trip to Australia and Samoa but avoided hospitalization while ill.
