During a January 2017 interview with Fuse, Baldoni, 40, recalled an awkward moment when he interacted with the pop superstar while she was guest starring on Jane the Virgin.
“I know she was a fan of the show,” he recalled. “We were shooting and then a few of us that weren’t in scenes with her came to watch one of her scenes. Because I had tweeted her and she had tweeted me back, I’d gone up to her [too], so in my mind we were friends, but we weren’t. I went up and I gave her a big hug and I think I scared her.”
After the moment, Baldoni saw his costars laughing, leaving the actor wondering: “Did I just harass Britney Spears?”
“I was a huge Britney Spears fan in high school. What adolescent boy wasn’t?” he asked. “The guest star I was most excited to work with was Britney Spears. And then it turned out, I didn’t get to work with her. And there was zero scenes with Rafael and Britney Spears — probably at her request.”
Baldoni played Rafael Solano in Jane the Virgin for nearly 100 episodes between 2014 and 2019. During season 2, the show welcomed Spears, 43, as a guest star where she played herself.
“I had tweeted her. I was going to bring a poster from her Live [From] Las Vegas tour to set and I didn’t do that because I don’t have one,” Baldoni recalled. “I was joking. But I think she thought I was serious.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Baldoni’s team for comment on the video.
The resurfaced clip comes as Baldoni finds himself in a legal battle with his It Ends With Us costar Blake Lively.
In December 2024, Lively, 37, sued Baldoni for sexual harassment. The lawsuit alleges that there was a meeting conducted to address Lively’s claims that there was a “hostile work environment” on set. She also accused the actor of launching a “social manipulation” campaign against her to “destroy” her reputation.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called Lively’s accusations “completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious” in a statement to Us, claiming that Lively filed the lawsuit to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” about the movie’s production.
Baldoni hit back days later with his own lawsuit, where he was listed as one of the 10 plaintiffs suing The New York Times for $250 million after its reporting on Lively’s legal filing. Baldoni’s lawsuit alleged that Lively pursued a “strategic and manipulative” smear campaign against him and “cherry picked” communications while leaving out key details.
A spokesperson for The New York Times said that the publication is standing by the story and plans to “vigorously defend against the lawsuit.”
“This last Sunday, my father passed away,” Katie, 37, wrote via Instagram on Friday, January 10. “Since I have been met with a variety of emotions, numbness, peace, complete udder sadness and even at times guilt. My dad was everyone’s favorite, he was so charming, made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We shared the love of dad jokes and he had an endless supply.”
While paying tribute to her beloved family member, Katie shared photos from recent vacations including a snowy trip to Salt Lake City, Utah.
“He was always so supportive of my brothers and I growing up and as adults championed our endeavors,” she wrote. “I cannot smell Irish spring without immediately thinking about him, how the scent almost covered up the smell of wheel grease from his job. It’s a core memory that I have always held and hold closer now.”
Soon after sharing her personal news, the “Disrespectfully” podcast host received well wishes from her Bravo family.
“Sending you love ,” The Valley’s Janet Caperna wrote in the comments section. Summer House’s Amanda Batula added, “So sorry for your loss Katie .”
Earlier in the week, Katie’s brother, Rocky Maloney, also paid tribute to his father via Instagram, calling him “such an amazing person, dad and friend.”
“Dad, I will think about you everyday,” he wrote. “I will always look at my phone waiting for our daily phone call to talk sports.”
As the Maloney family continues their grieving process, Katie is focused on all the positive memories she made with her father away from any camera crews.
“Dad, I love you forever, thank you for the million laughs, for the father-daughter dances throughout life and for the love you gave us,” she said. “I feel like I am a stranger to grief. As much as it has touched my life and so many I love. It’s not something I have become comfortable or well acquainted with.”
Katie is an original cast member of Vanderpump Rules and documented her life in West Hollywood for 11 seasons.
Although Bravo announced in November 2024 that the show would be revamping for season 12 with a brand-new cast, the reality star has her hands full with a variety of projects including her Something About Her sandwich shop with costar Ariana Madix.
“It’s a mixed bag. But I wouldn’t change a thing,” Katie shared via her Instagram Story after the news was announced. “Thank you for the memories and the love the last 11 years.”
While some prepared to embrace a new experience in a Scotland castle, others were a bit hesitant to find out what the reality show would be about.
“When you go to Rome, you got to do what Romans do. Everybody is basic as f—. I got to be basic too,” Ayan, 46, shared via Instagram on January 3. “Why play fair, when I can play fabulous?”
Previously, The Traitors has featured Bravo stars like Summer House’s Kyle Cooke and Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan. Season 2 also featured a powerful Bravo alliance made up of Sheree Whitfield, Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Kate Chastain.
As season 3 kicks off, get to know the Bravo stars entering the candle for an unforgettable adventure hosted by Alan Cumming:
Chanel Ayan — ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’
Before The Real Housewives of Dubai was put on pause after season 2 in November 2024, Ayan brought the fashion, glamour and drama. As she begins The Traitors, the Bravo star admitted this experience will be a whole new ballgame.
“I have no idea what’s going on,” Ayan said via Instagram before the season 3 premiere. “As a model on Housewives, I don’t think so much. Here, I need to activate my brain so I can literally start getting into this game.”
Dolores Catania — ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’
If there’s one thing The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know about Catania, 54, it’s that loyalty is everything. No matter how much drama enters New Jersey, the Bravo star tries to see both sides and keep the peace.
While Catania can lose her temper — never forget her fight with Margaret Josephs about an alleged reunion meeting — the Jersey girl tries to keep it cool, until you cross her.
In August 2024, Catania had the support of Medley, 60, and Ayan at her annual charity softball game in Brooklyn, New York.
Robyn Dixon — ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’
After eight seasons, Dixon, 45, said goodbye to The Real Housewives of Potomac in April 2024. While some costars questioned the state of her relationship with longtime partner Juan Dixon, nobody could doubt her friendship and bond with costar Gizelle Bryant.
While Dixon has proven to be a loyal friend in Potomac, fans are curious to see if she will continue to be trustworthy or choose to be reasonably shady.
Dorinda Medley — ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’
From 2015 to 2020, Medley did her best to make it nice on The Real Housewives of New York City. While she was put on pause by Andy Cohen, she returned to participate in The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip and became friends with Catania by playing softball together.
While Medley has been known for her iconic one liners, could her temper make her a threat in the house? Time will tell. Clip!
Ciara Miller — ‘Summer House’
Miller is exchanging weekends in the Hamptons for a new adventure at a Scotland castle. The Bravo star was a nurse who chose to put her career on the back burner to pursue a career in modeling.
In her last season of Summer House, Miller, 29, dealt with heartbreak when she developed feelings — and disappointment — for her costar West Wilson. With the fling in her past, Miller is ready to win the hearts of her Traitors cast — and some big money.
Tom Sandoval — ‘Vanderpump Rules’
As an original cast member of Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval, 42, has faced his fair share of OMG moments. Most recently, he faced the consequences of cheating on his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with her close friend and costar Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
While the former SUR employee has tried to move on, some of his Traitors peers may not be so willing to forgive and forget.
Miller previously called Sandoval “annoying” when filming Winter House together. “The sound of his voice was annoying,” she shared on an August 2023 episode of the “Viall Files” podcast. “He talked a lot about himself, his business ventures … himself. That was just on an hour-long car ride to the mountain.”
The Traitors season 3 is streaming now on Peacock with new episodes premiering Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
After 16 years of marriage, the couple recently decided to separate and are preparing to file for divorce, TMZ reported on Wednesday, January 8.
The duo’s love story began when they met on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2004, where Alba, 43, was the lead actress and Warren, 46, was a production assistant. They tied the knot four years later.
While the couple — who share Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7 — have not publicly commented on their relationship status, both Alba and Warren have talked openly about the highs and lows of marriage.
While attending a pre-Golden Globes party at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Saturday, January 4, Alba was photographed without wearing her wedding ring.
Just one month earlier, the actress was spotted running errands and picking up beverages at Kreation in Los Angeles without a ring on that finger.
Meanwhile, Warren raised eyebrows when he posed for a family photo on Christmas without his ring.
Jessica Alba’s New Year’s Eve Post
Before saying goodbye to 2024, Alba posted a collage of images reflecting on the past 12 months of her life. While she was able to post memories from vacations, girls’ night outs and various projects, the Honest Company founder failed to post any photos of Warren.
“Here’s to a colorful past year that was filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy and so much love ,” she wrote via Instagram on December 31. “Sending hugs to everyone going through it- cheers to 2025 and even more love to come! Let’s goooo!”
In the middle of celebrating 10 years of his clothing brand Pair of Thieves, Warren reflected on his marriage to Alba in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.
While reflecting on their bond, Warren admitted that it took “hard work” to keep their union strong.
“I think, ultimately, the friendship and support and just knowing that your partner has your back means everything to us,” he told Us in July 2024. “I think that would be the secret, is just having each other’s back. It’s hard work, but we roll up our sleeves and we do it. It’s wild. It’s the longest relationship I could have ever imagined.”
Back in April 2024, Alba appeared on an episode of Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s “BDA Baby” podcast. When asked how she was able to find balance amid her heavy responsibilities — and ensure “your husband feels tended to” — Alba admitted it was a process.
“You know, I think that [Cash] probably gets the short end of the stick,” she said. “It’s hard. It’s impossible.”
She advised couples “to communicate when you’re unhappy and nipping it right away” before it becomes a bigger issue.
“We have, obviously, the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘You’re not going anywhere,’” Alba added. “And so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right? You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant — it’s a constant one to work on.”
Jessica Alba Compared Cash Warren Marriage to Being ‘Roommates’
While chatting with Schwarzenneger Pratt, 35, Alba continued to give an honest perspective on marriage life.
“I would say it’s all rosy for two-and-a-half years,” she shared. “But then after that, you become roommates. You’re just going through the motions, the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”
During an August 2023 appearance on Jana Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast, Warren said he briefly broke up with Alba four years into the relationship.
“When we first started dating, I was really jealous of other guys and the attention that she was getting from other guys, and it just wasn’t making me feel good,” Warren said. “I was always a pretty confident person in my own, kind of, walking my own path and really happy there. And next thing you know, I’m looking up and just feeling jealous all the time.”
After his feelings led to a breakup with Alba, Warren said he vowed to “channel [my jealousy] in a different way, into a more productive way.”
“Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,” Huger’s manager, Ryan Tresdale, said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish on Thursday, January 9. “She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”
Earlier in the day, Bravo shared a sneak peek of the upcoming reunion and Huger, 61, was noticeably absent from the cast.
“Dropping the #RHOP Season 9 Reunion seating chart here,” Bravo wrote via Instagram. “More info to come soon…”
Mia Thornton, Wendy Osefo and newcomer Stacey Rusch were seated on one side of host Andy Cohen. On the other side were Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby and newbie Keiarna Stewart.
“Where is Karen??” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams wrote in the comments section as fans speculated where the original Real Housewives of Potomac star could be.
In a separate Instagram Story, Bravo posted a photo of Cohen’s hand touching Bryant’s freshly manicured nails. “Holding space for the #RHOP reunion,” the network wrote. “Filming now.”
In December 2024, Huger, 61, was convicted of DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of an address change, according to a report from Fox5 DC. The report also stated she was acquitted of one charge of reckless driving.
After the guilty verdict, the police body cam footage from Huger’s arrest was also released.
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told People in a statement at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
The reality star — whose nickname is the Grand Dame — is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, January 29, and faces up to two years behind bars.
Throughout season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Huger said she has been limited about what she can say about her case that stemmed from a Maryland car accident in March 2024.
Stars from Hollywood, sports, comedy and beyond are finding huge financial success as they continue to share stories behind the microphone.
With more and more pop culture consumers around the world streaming podcasts as voraciously as music, TV and film, companies like Spotify, SiriusXM and Amazon are willing to pay big bucks to secure top-tier talent.
In August 2024 alone, “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper signed a massive agreement with SiriusXM. In addition, NFL players Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce signed a reported 9-figure deal to continue their “New Heights” podcast.
“We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons,” the brothers said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter before acknowledging the nickname for their listeners. “We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”
Keep reading to see how much some of your favorite podcast hosts are making as they deliver new content to listeners:
Grace O’Malley
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy shared details of Grace O’Malley’s former salary in January 2025, after she left the media company.
Portnoy claimed in a TikTok video that O’Malley’s base salary was $175,000 and she received 70 percent “of anything that we were able to sell” through her personal social media accounts.
“She got another $75,000 in 2024 that way,” he claimed. “I think we treated — as I’ve said from the beginning — Grace great.”
Portnoy’s salary declaration came after O’Malley appeared on Theo Von’s podcast and claimed that she “didn’t make anything” while working at Barstool. (O’Malley departed the company in December 2024.
Alex Cooper
In August 2024, news broke that the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host signed an agreement with SiriusXM, giving the platform exclusive advertising and distribution rights, as well as other content and events. The multi-year deal is worth $125 million across three years, CNN reported. It’s more than double her previous deal with Spotify.
SiriusXM also received exclusive global ad sales rights to all editions of Cooper’s Unwell Network, which includes podcasts like “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy,” “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey” and “In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.”
“THANK YOU @siriusxm,” Cooper wrote via Instagram. “DADDY GANG GET READY. WE ARE AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE AND DOING IT EVEN BIGGER IN 2025.”
Jason and Travis Kelce
Less than two weeks before the NFL officially kicked off their 2024 regular season, the Kelce brothers signed a nine-figure deal with podcast studio Wondery for the rights to their popular “New Heights” podcast, according to a report published by The Hollywood Reporter.
The deal is said to include global distribution rights to the popular podcast, ad-sales representation, rights to past episodes and the right to launch international adaptations of the podcast.
“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” Travis and Jason said in a statement to the outlet. “Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights!’ We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership.”
Dax Shepard
Amazon’s podcast company Wondery inked an exclusive distribution and ad-sales deal for the “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard” in July 2024. The agreement called for Wondery and“Armchair Expert” to co-develop and produce two new podcasts for fans and one livestream per year.
The deal also includes a first-look option for any additional new podcasts created by actor Shepard. Financial terms weren’t announced, but Wall Street Journal said the deal was worth about $80 million.
Joe Rogan
In February 2024, the host of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast and Spotify entered a new deal worth up to $250 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The agreement would allow the show on other platforms after its exclusive 4-year run on Spotify.
Under the licensing agreement, Spotify will also sell ads for and distribute “The Joe Rogan Experience” across several podcast platforms, including in a video format on YouTube.
“At SiriusXM, we are proud to be home to the stars, and with Jason, Sean and Will joining us, that statement has never been more true,” SiriusXM President Scott Greenstein said in a statement. “Over the past several years, we have doubled down on our commitment to podcasting, and with the addition of ‘SmartLess,’ we are strengthening our leadership position in podcasting.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
In late 2020, The Sussexes inked a $20 million agreement with Spotify after leaving their senior roles within the royal family. Their exclusive partnership promised to “produce programming that uplifts and entertains audiences around the world” and “spotlight diverse perspectives and voices,” per the Archewell Audio website.
Markle later launched “Archetypes,” during which she conducted interviews with a variety of guests including Mariah Carey and Mindy Kaling. The series aired 12 episodes from August 2022 to November 2022.
In June 2023, the streaming giant and Archewell Audio confirmed they had “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”
Markle later found a new podcast partner with Lemonada in February 2024.
Take a little time to enjoy The View — on the weekends.
ABC announced on Wednesday, January 8, that America’s most-watched daytime network talk show will expand into weekends with a new streaming series titled The Weekend View.
Premiering on Saturday, January 11, the 30-minute show will be hosted by the talk show’s Friday panel including moderator Joy Behar and cohosts Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro.
Whoopi Goldberg will continue moderating “Hot Topics” on The View Mondays through Thursdays.
According to ABC, The Weekend View will focus on the biggest stories in entertainment and the buzziest news topping social media feeds.
With all-new “Hot Topics” not explored during the week, the ladies promise to share their unique takes on a variety of topics with their own candor and humor.
“In addition to having its most-watched linear season in four years, The View is finding success meeting viewers wherever they get their content,” executive producer Brian Teta said in a statement. “From podcasts to YouTube, and now with new exclusive streaming content for the weekend on ABC News Live.”
While The View has found success in the ratings by discussing politics, The Weekend View is expected to take on a lighter approach with its topics.
“We’re following what we’ve seen be successful on ABC News Live on the weekends,” Karin Gilford, senior vice president of Digital Media, ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks, told Variety in an interview published January 8. “On Saturdays and Sundays, it’s sort of the more a lighter feel. They’re still covering all the stories of the week, but in a little bit of a different tone. So it’ll be the same show format. We’ll cover the hot topics, but it will lean a little bit more into pop culture on the weekends.”
Fans of The View will likely get to see the cohosts discuss their favorite celebrities.
In previous episodes, Hostin, 56, has voiced her support for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s love story while Navarro, 53, has shined a light on her friendships with stars like Eva Longoria and Gloria Estefan.
As for Farah Griffin, 35, she is a self-proclaimed Swiftie who loves reality TV. Her recent favorite shows include The Real Housewivesof Beverly Hills and Dancing With the Stars.
The Weekend View streams on ABC News Now Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. ET and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. ET.
“I think, ultimately, the friendship and support and just knowing that your partner has your back means everything to us,” Warren, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2024 when celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Pair of Thieves. “I think that would be the secret, is just having each other’s back. It’s hard work, but we roll up our sleeves and we do it. It’s wild. It’s the longest relationship I could have ever imagined.”
The couple — who share Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7 — were together for 20 years and married for 16 before they reportedly separated. The couple has not publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
In honor of Hayes’ birthday on December 31, 2024, the couple recently enjoyed a family day at Universal Studios Hollywood.
While family time has always been a priority for Warren and Alba, 43, the duo also tried to make time for date night away from any kids.
“For us, it’s getting out of the house and going and staying somewhere else for a night,” Warren previously told Us. “Unplugging is big. We love taking walks. We love chatting. We love eating good food together. We have so many of the same interests that we enjoy. What’s awesome is that we’re also still willing to participate.”
Warren praised Alba for being on an “awesome spiritual journey” that included sound baths and learning about crystals.
“I’ll get my charts read,” he added. “I’ll learn about it alongside her and she’s always opening me up to new things.”
Before her split from Warren was announced, Alba appeared on an April 2024 episode of Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s “BDA Baby” podcast. When asked how she was able to find balance amid her heavy responsibilities — and ensure “your husband feels tended to” — Alba admitted it was a process.
“If you’ve figured it out in your relationship, let me know,” she said. “You know, I think that [Cash] probably gets the short end of the stick. … It’s hard. It’s impossible.”
She advised listeners that it was important “to communicate when you’re unhappy and nipping it right away instead of letting it sort of, like, fester.”
Through all of Alba’s accomplishments, however, Warren was a vocal supporter.
After Alba stepped down from the Honest Company in April 2024 to redirect her focus on new projects and passions, Warren expressed how proud he was of his wife.
“What she was able to accomplish with the Honest Company is amazing and she’s still involved. She’s still on the board. We’re obviously still a Honest household,” he told Us in July 2024. “I’ve just been blown away that she was able to so elegantly step down from her role with Honest and jump back into acting and immediately find success like that. It’s mind blowing to me. I’m just like, ‘How do you do that?!’”
“Somebody had messaged me [while on vacation] that I was cut from the cruise. I had no idea,” Aydin, 47, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 8. “My manager didn’t want to tell me. She didn’t want anything to ruin my trip. Then I went to the website and I saw my name wasn’t there. And you know what? I took it like a champ.”
Aydin was expected to join her Real Housewives of New Jersey costars Teresa Giudice and Dolores Catania on a luxury cruise experience aboard the brand-new Norwegian Aqua in September 2025. Titled “Wives on the Waves,” the event would allow guests to vacation with some of their favorite Bravo stars.
A rep for the “Wives on the Waves” cruise confirmed to Us that Aydin would no longer be part of the event after she went viral for criticizing some Jersey Mike’s employees at one of the sandwich shop’s airport occasions.
“This decision was not personal nor an act of canceling anyone. At Fans at Sea, we believe in second chances and personal growth,” Patrick Harbison said in a statement. “Our priority is to create a drama-free, fun-filled experience for everyone. To ensure this, we made adjustments to keep the cruise enjoyable and welcoming for all guests.”
According to Aydin, she accepted the cruise’s decision and didn’t want to fight against the lost opportunity.
“This is a business and this is their business, and I do not want them to receive any backlash because of me,” she told Us. “The cruise was a fun idea for me because I love an opportunity to engage with the fans, but it’s all good. The timing wasn’t the most ideal for my family. The kids are going back to school that week and my kids were already complaining that I had committed to doing it. Everything happens for a reason.”
Jennifer and her husband, Dr. Bill Aydin, share five children including Justin, 20, Gabby, 17, Jacob, 15, Christian, 13, and Olivia, 11.
While Jennifer wishes she could cruise with her fans, “I understand that this is totally business and I respect the cruise’s decision.”
Her treatment of employees went viral — and caught the attention of Andy Cohen — with one worker posting a response in a TikTok video, referring to Jennifer as a “stupid bitch.” A GoFundMe page was also created for another employee featured in Jennifer’s videos.
While speaking with Us, Jennifer asserted that she “was not rude” to any of the food chain’s staff.
“I will call a spade a spade,” she said. “That staff was very highly dismissive, not just to me, to everybody on that line. Everybody was frustrated.”
At the same time, Jennifer admitted that she should not have posted any clips to her 549,000 Instagram followers.
“I’m one that takes full responsibility and accountability for my actions. When I feel I’m wrong, I should not have posted it,” she said. “I just want people to know that that was coming from a very frustrated mom who just wanted to make her flight with her children.”
A source exclusively tells Us Weekly that as a result of Beyoncé, 43, stepping onto the football field for a must-see performance on December 25, the NFL cautioned the Cowboy Carter singer and her team that she would be fined $500 for each crystal that fell off her costume during her halftime set.
“They would charge her for each once they found,” the insider explains. “It’s for players’ safety because anything like that on the field could cause injury.”
After the halftime show, the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens took to the field at NRG Stadium in Texas for the second half of the game. The Ravens ended up beating the home team 31 to 2.
While it’s unclear if Beyoncé faced any wardrobe mishaps or fines after her gig, fans certainly loved every moment of her performance.
Viewership for Netflix’s coverage of Wednesday’s Christmas Day football peaked with 27 million viewers for Beyoncé’s set. In fact, more people watched the Grammy winner’s performance than the two football games the streamer aired that day.
After renditions of “16 Carriages” and “Black Bird,” Beyoncé surprised the crowd by singing “RIIVERDANCE” with Shaboozey and “LEVII’S Jeans” with Post Malone.
To top the night off, Beyoncé’s 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, joined the backing dancers when it was time to sing “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
For the special performance, Beyoncé opted for a studded white, long-sleeve bodysuit with coordinated chaps courtesy of Lindsey James Show Clothing.
Stylist Shiona Turini also picked out an ASN cowboy hat, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Christian Louboutin boots for the major moment.
While the performance earned a round of applause from many fans, the former Destiny’s Child member still faced some critics. As a result, Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, decided to send a message to the haters.
“It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later,” she wrote via Instagram on December 27. “Go to another channel when it’s halftime watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in.”
After the halftime show — nicknamed Beyoncé Bowl — the artist posted a cinematic clip with a date of January 14, 2025. While the Beyhive has speculated that a tour announcement or new music is coming, Beyoncé is staying quiet — for now.
Us has reached out to the NFL and Beyonce’s teams for comment.
“We knew she smoked,” Erika, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 7. “Here we are and that just kind of speaks to where Dorit was, and you know what’s great? Now in my phone, it has Dorit Kemsley with a cigarette icon and that’s true.”
During the season 14 premiere of RHOBH, cameras rolled as Dorit, 48, smoked a cigarette on camera for the first time while driving through the Hollywood Hills. The scene came as she was going through a breakup with her husband, PK Kemsley.
“I did the same thing but not with cigs,” Erika joked when alluding to her own divorce from disgraced attorney Tom Girardi. “She was coping in the canyon.”
Back in November 2024, viewers watched Dorit share with Erika that she was separating from PK, 57, after nearly a decade of marriage. The couple — who share son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, 8 — have yet to file for divorce.
In recent episodes, Dorit said PK’s drinking contributed to their separation. PK later denied he was a “fully blown alcoholic” and said he was celebrating one year of sobriety in January.
“When she said it, I was like, ‘OK, Oh. OK.’ I never heard her speak about it like that,” Erika told Us. “She’s telling everyone what’s going on in her life.”
When asked if Dorit and PK’s separation caught her by surprise, Erika added: “I had no idea. I did not know.”
As another dramatic season of RHOBH plays out, Erika said she continues to root for Dorit and her family.
“Dorit is very resilient,” she shared. “I haven’t spoken to her in a couple of weeks, but she’s a tough cookie. She will figure it out, but she’s in a tough spot. I only want the best for her and the kids and PK too. I have no dog in this fight other than to say I want the best for everyone — whatever that looks [like] for them.”
While viewers may be surprised with the ever-changing friendships and relationships in Beverly Hills, Erika said her own wild experiences are a reminder that things can change rather quickly.
Former QVC program host Jennifer Coffey is ready to share some of her big plans after leaving the shopping network.
“I am here to announce something that I’ve been keeping low-key for quite awhile as I prepare but I can’t take it anymore and I really want to share the news,” Coffey said via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7. “Also, I have to share the news because I’m hiring and in order for me to hire, I’m going to have to let the world know what is going down.”
Coffey announced she will be opening up her first yoga studio called The Phoenix Yoga in February 2025.
Located in Wayne, Pennsylvania, the space will offer yoga classes for people of all levels, from beginner to advanced.
“If you know me, you know this has been something that I’ve wanted to do for quite some time, and now that I have the time to work on this passion project, I get to put everything that I have inside of it,” Coffey explained. “My mission and goal is to always help people achieve their dreams. In this case, I hope to help people achieve something very deep, something very beautiful. Exploring their bodies and what their bodies can do.”
The former QVC star also expressed her hope that via her new yoga studio, people can explore their minds and spirits and realize “just how beautiful they are.”
Soon after sharing the news, Coffey received several well wishes from her extended QVC family, including hosts Sandra Bennett and Kerstin Lindquist.
“It’s OUT! Congratulations!!!!!!!” Julia Cearley wrote in the comments section. “And I can’t wait! Sign me up, sister!!! (Er, for the beginners classes obviously, please) .”
After 13 years with QVC, Coffey announced in November 2024 that she was leaving the shopping network to pursue new adventures.
On December 31, 2024, she hosted her final shopping party and expressed her hopes that viewers will follow their own dreams in a new year.
“My entire purpose over these last 13 years has been to inspire,” Coffey said on her final show. “Everyone watching has a dream in your heart right now. … Whatever your dream is, you are meant to have that dream come true. Even if it seems insurmountable — someone’s telling you you can’t. The circumstances seem too challenging — here’s what I know to be true. If you believe and know that that dream is meant to be yours, it will be yours because whatever you want, it wants you too.”
In November 2022, Aaron Phypers was driving his wife to work in Los Angeles when a bullet suddenly struck the back of the cab of their truck. As they kept driving, the shooter allegedly followed them, eventually blocking their vehicle in.
“It wasn’t like we got cut off. It was just all of a sudden this guy was following us,” Richards, 53, said while appearing on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live in February 2023. “He was kind of aggressive, and Aaron tried to scootch over, and he pulled over and [the shooter] pulled over.”
According to Richards, Phypers, 52, rolled down the window to confront the man.
“He put his hands up and goes, ‘I don’t know what you’re upset at. I’m just trying to take my wife to work,'” Richards recalled.
While Phypers seemingly appeared calm during the unpredictable moments, Richards said her reaction was the opposite.
“I did not handle it well,” Richards told Jeff Lewis when describing the moments she started screaming. “I was literally on the floor almost peeing my pants.”
At one point, Richards started to jump out of the truck to escape before Phypers pulled her back in for safety.
She later told the unidentified individual, “Please, I don’t know what we did, but he’s just trying to take me to work.” According to Richards, the man proceeded to roll up his window and drive away.
As Richards tried to heal from the experience, the actress was met with some Internet trolls.
When one Twitter user suggested it would be OK if Richards was injured, she replied: “I would never wish any harm on anyone. What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care. Was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in. I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck … a–—–.”
Since the ordeal, Richards has been able to move forward as she continues raising daughters Sami, 20, Lola, 19, and Eloise, 13.
In addition to starring in Special Forces, Richards will also appear in a new reality show focused on those closest to her.
“It’s a big glimpse into our family,” Richards told Us Weekly in December 2024.“We’re finishing up everything. I’m excited, but I’m also like, ‘Oh my gosh, everyone’s gonna see my family.’”
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is hoping to set the record straight when it comes to Grace O’Malley’s alleged salary with the company prior to her exit.
“Grace went on Theo Von’s podcast and sort of insinuated like we didn’t pay her fairly, so I figured I’d just say what she made here so people can decide for themselves,” Portnoy, 47, wrote via TikTok on Tuesday, January 7. “She was in the last year of a 3-year deal.”
According to Portnoy, O’Malley’s base salary was $175,000 a year. In addition, she received 70 percent “of anything that we were able to sell on her personal socials.”
“She got another $75,000 in 2024 that way,” he also claimed. “[Her interview] could have been cut up, misconstrued a little bit, but it does bother me when people make it seem like they’re not getting paid fairly. I think we treated — as I’ve said from the beginning — Grace great.”
While appearing on the Monday, January 6 episode of the “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” podcast, O’Malley opened up about her experience with Barstool Sports before she signed a deal with “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper‘s Unwell Network.
“I didn’t make anything when I was there. I had a salary and that was kind of it,” she alleged. “I had the option to leave and I took it.”
Grace went on Theo Von podcast and sort of insinuated like we didn’t pay her fairly so I figured I’d just say what she made here so people can decide for themselves. She was in the last year of a 3 year deal.
“My buddy was paid a little bit more — a lot of bit more,” she said. “I never made any money off [the podcast tour]. Barstool took it. I also didn’t care. I was happy to be there. I was stoked to just have the job.”
In response to O’Malley’s remarks, Portnoy said she was referring to her “PlanBri Uncut” podcast cohost Lapaglia, 25.
“I know she’s like, ‘My friend made a lot more.’ She’s referring to Bri,” Portnoy said. “Bri was a much bigger personality, way more followers, bigger everything, and really, obviously, Grace’s star has risen recently with the blowup and everything happening, but you know, that is why Bri got paid more.”
Portnoy also pointed out that once Barstool makes back your base salary, “we will split every dollar moving forward fifty-fifty.”
“I just don’t like it when people make it seem like we scam our creators, because we f—ing don’t,” he added, “and that’s why a lot of them have been with us for over a decade.”
UsWeekly has reached out to O’Malley’s team for comment.
Chrisley Knows Beststar Chase Chrisley has been identified as a suspect in an alleged simple assault incident.
According to a police report obtained by Us Weekly, officers from the Atlanta Police Department responded to a call at Twin Peaks Sports Bar on Monday, January 6, where an employee alleged he was assaulted by Chrisley, 28.
According to the alleged victim, Chrisley “became really drunk” while inside the bar. He started to “act very disrespectful and belligerent.”
The employee stated to police that Chrisley was asked to leave the establishment “multiple times.” Instead, the reality star allegedly “refused to leave and started acting more belligerent.”
Police indicated in their report that the alleged victim accused Chrisley of slapping him in the face twice. The employee did not have any injuries and refused medical attention.
The alleged victim stated he does have security camera footage that recorded the incident. It’s unclear if he has uploaded the footage and shared it with police.
Us Weekly has reached out to Chrisley’s rep for comment.
The Growing Up Chrisley star’s legal situation comes as his parents Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisleyremain in prison for fraud and tax evasion.
While their sentences were reduced in September 2023, Julie, 52, isn’t expected to be released from prison until March 2028 while Todd, 55, will stay through May 2032.
“[My sister] Savannah will go see my dad, I’ll go see my mom. We’ll rotate, and Savannah will normally take the kids [Grayson and Chloe] down with her,” Chase explained on the “Chasin’ Birdies” podcast in May 2023. “But it’s tough, man. I mean, our family loves really, really hard, so when you love somebody as much as we love each other, it’s definitely very difficult to see your loved ones in a situation like that.”
“Everybody acts like my dad is in some country club and that’s not the case at all,” he noted. “They got like black mold [where my dad is], and my mom’s place is even worse. I mean, she doesn’t even have air conditioning. They’re in a camp. It’s better than, like, being behind a wall.”
Despite the circumstances, Todd and Julie’s kids continue to push forward. Earlier this month, Savannah, 27, announced her younger brother Grayson, 18, was starting college at the University of Alabama.
“The past two years, Gray had every reason to give up, but instead, he showed up for himself and for the people he loves,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7. “This next chapter is yours, Gray, and you deserve every single bit of it.”
“This guy was light,” Lassner, 58, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7, shortly after a new interview with Boss’ widow, Allison Holker, was published by People. “Kindness and joy in motion. That’s how I remember him every day. He is deeply missed.”
Boss was hired as Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show DJ in 2014. Six years later, he became an executive producer on the series until the show came to an end in May 2022.
In December 2022, Boss was found dead at a Los Angeles hotel. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner later confirmed that the So You Think You Can Dance alum died by suicide. He was 40 years old at the time.
After Lassner shared his tribute, Holker, 36, commented with two red heart emojis.
The post comes as Holker prepares to share new details about her healing journey in a new memoir titled This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light.
Ahead of its release on Tuesday, February 4, Holker gave a wide-ranging interview to People about her late husband’s life and the “triggering” discovery she made just before Boss’ funeral.
Weeks after Boss died, Holker said she found a “cornucopia” of drugs including mushrooms, pills and “other substances I had to look up on my phone” hidden in Boss’ closet.
“It was a really triggering moment for me because there were a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed,” she told People in an interview published January 7. “It was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue [about]. It was a really scary moment in my life to figure that out, but it also helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much, and there must have been a lot of shame in that.”
According to Holker, however, she’s trying to help people feel safe to ask for help.
“It’s hard to think that he never opened up to someone and wanted to face it, to get through on the other side,” Holker told People. “I really hope people dealing with the same thing will help themselves out of the shadows and [know] you’re going to be OK.”

“Kesha and I met on Instagram. She was following me. We DM’d each other and she’s here with me tonight,” Richards, 55, said on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of Bravo’s reality show. “Yes, Kesha’s a musician and we’re friends — so let the rumors begin!”
Cameras rolled as the cast headed to the Viper Room in West Hollywood to celebrate costar Erika Jayne being honored by GLAAD.
Although Richards assured viewers her plus one was just a friend, the reality star’s romantic life has been put under the microscope as she navigates life after separating from husband Mauricio Umansky in July 2023. The pair were married for 27 years prior to their split.
One month after announcing the end of her marriage with Umansky, 54, Richards starred in singer Morgan Wade’s “Fall in Love With Me” music video. Her appearance left some fans questioning if they could potentially be dating.
At the beginning of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 in November 2024, however, Richards said she would not be talking about Wade, 30.
“I know there’s a lot of curiosity about the person they always talk about,” Richards said. “I’m not using her name intentionally. I don’t want to speak on anyone’s behalf except my own.”
“She was following me on Instagram and I followed her back and we said, ‘Oh, we should get together for dinner,’” Richards recalled to Jayne, 53. “We went to Venice or something and I sat down…and we started talking about everything and sharing everything and sharing all of our secrets.”
According to Richards, she “automatically connected” with the “Tik Tok” singer and a new friendship was born.
“I just automatically connected with her and she’s just so sweet and has such a big heart,” she said. “Kind, not judgemental, talented and creative. We started hanging out and we became really close friends fast.”
To prove Beverly Hills really is a small town, Kesha and Wade ended up doing a song together called “Walked on War.” And yes, Kesha will be performing at the same London music festival as Jayne this June.
“I will be there with bells on,” Richards joked. “I’m so excited about that. I’m ready to go.”

“We’re mad at Sutton because Sutton likes to kick a dog when they’re down,” Jayne, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 7. “That’s a fact. I don’t think anybody looking at this without bias would say anything different.”
Stracke, 53, hasn’t seen eye-to-eye with Dorit Kemsley this season on the hit Bravo reality show — especially as she deals with a public divorce from PK Kemsley.
At one point, the ladies got into an explosive fight during a cast trip to Oceanside, California, where Stracke proclaimed to her costar: “You’re not angry with me. You’re angry at your life.”
The argument came just days after Stracke wrote an essay about friendship and sisterhood. Her words were later shared with the cast during a sisterhood ritual at a filmed dinner.
“I never bought into the sisterhood because you have to lead by example,” Jayne explained to Us, referring to Stracke’s essay. “It’s great to say things, but then you have to do it and you can’t do it once. It has to be consistent and it wasn’t. It’s a lot of nice words but you have to lead. You have to put in the action.”
Stracke first started filming with Jayne in 2020 when she was a “friend” of the show in season 10. Even though the pair continue working together through the current season, Jayne isn’t sure if she can call Stracke a true friend.
“Sometimes [she’s a friend]. I consider us to be on friendly ground more so now than ever,” she said. “I enjoy Sutton when she’s her bubbly, kind, fun self. I don’t enjoy her when she’s mean.”
Jayne isn’t the only Bravo star trying to figure out where she stands with Stracke. On the January 7 episode, newcomer Bozoma Saint John questions if Stracke is “delusional” or “mean.”
According to Jayne, the answer to that question isn’t always clear.
“I think there are times when Sutton is mean and there are times when she is just herself,” she said. “We can all be a little delusional. We’re all eccentric in our own ways. We can all be petty but there are times when we’ve all been mean to each other.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can stream old episodes anytime on Peacock.
Meghan Markle is mourning the death of her dog nearly 10 years after adopting the beagle from a rescue in Canada.
“I have cried too many tears to count — the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there,” Markle, 43, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7. “But they are. And that’s okay too.”
Markle recalled the moment in 2015 when she met her dog she would call Guy. He had been at a Kentucky kill shelter and was given a few days to live.
“I swooped him up … and fell in love,” she wrote. “They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.”
The Duchess of Sussex said Guy was by her side as she worked on her old blog, The Tig, and filmed scenes for Suits. He also was nearby for all of her milestone celebrations with Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
“When I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom,” she shared. “He was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”
As Markle shared many photos of Guy in her announcement, she confirmed her dog will be making some appearances in her upcoming Netflix show titled With Love, Meghan.
According to Netflix’s official logline, the show “reimagines the genre of lifestyle programming” with Markle at the forefront “blending practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends.” It will also offer a look at her life in California.
“Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss,” Markle explained. “I think you may fall a little bit in love too.”
In her personal tribute to Guy, Markle also took the time to recount a “terrible accident” her dog endured before she moved to the United Kingdom. For several months, Guy had to undergo surgeries and heal away from home.
“Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it,” she wrote. “H and I would drive late at night, after hours, to see Guy as he recovered in Surrey for months on end. I will always be grateful to Noel and his team, the team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our vets now, and my friends and community: Thank you for loving him so.”
In a final message to her followers, Markle asked pet lovers to consider adopting not shopping the next time they look for a furry friend. She also continued to express gratitude for all the happy memories she shared with Guy.
“Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy,” she wrote. “You filled my life in ways you’ll never know #adoptdontshop.”
Paris Jackson is marking a big milestone in her health and wellness journey.
“Hi, I’m pk and I’m an alcoholic and a heroin addict,” Jackson, 26, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, January 7. “Today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. To say that I’m thankful would be a poor euphemism. Gratitude hardly scratches the surface.”
When celebrating the news with her followers, the singer included several memories of herself smoking or drinking. The video then featured photos of the sobriety chips she has earned over the years.
“It’s because I’m sober that I get to smile today,” Jackson wrote. “I get to make music. I get to experience the joy of loving my dogs and cat. I get to feel heartbreak in all its glory. I get to grieve. I get to laugh. I get to dance. I get to trust. I feel the sun on my skin and it’s warm. I’ve found that life keeps happening regardless of whether I’m sober or not, but today I get to show up for it.”
While marking five years of sobriety is no small feat, the past year alone has been filled with special moments for the artist.
In December 2024, Jackson confirmed that her boyfriend, Justin “Blue” Long, proposed. “Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind and I couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
As for her professional life, Jackson continued to follow in her late father Michael Jackson’s footsteps by expanding her music career.
“He put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did so that I can stand up here on stage in front of you and scream into a microphone,” Jackson said during an August 2023 concert in Colorado. “So I owe everything to him.”
She also had the opportunity to celebrate music’s biggest night at the 2024 Grammys.
While she couldn’t share all of her positive memories from her sobriety journey, Jackson tried her best to give followers insight into what her life is like sans drugs and alcohol.
“Here’s a little snapshot of what has been possible because of my sobriety, and my god I can’t believe I almost missed it all,” Jackson concluded her post. “Thanks 1 • 7 • 20.”
