Nicole Kidman paid tribute to her late parents in honor of her mother’s birthday.

“Missing Mumma and Papa so much on what would have been her birthday today ,” the actress, 57, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, March 12, alongside a throwback pic of her mom, Janelle Ann, and dad, Antony.

The photograph showed Kidman’s parents as they smiled sweetly for a close-up shot. The pair were seemingly standing in a kitchen area as they huddled next to each other.

Kidman lost her father in 2014 after reportedly suffering a fall at a hotel in Singapore. He was 75 years old. It was later revealed that Antony’s cause of death was due to a heart attack.

A decade after her father’s passing, Kidman’s mother died. While attending the Venice International Film Festival in September 2024, Kidman left the event early after learning her mother passed away at age 84. As Kidman rushed home, she ended up winning the Best Actress award for her role in Babygirl.

The film’s director, Halina Reijn, accepted the award on behalf of Kidman and read a statement from the actress.

“Today I arrived in Venice to find out shortly after, that my beautiful, brave mother Janelle Ann Kidman has just passed,” Reijn, 49, read at the time. “I am in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her, she shaped me, she guided me and she made me. I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina, the collision of life and art is heart-breaking, and my heart is broken.”

After sharing the news of her mother’s passing, the Oscar winner took to social media to thank fans for the support shown to both her and her sister Antonia Kidman during their difficult time.

“My sister and I along with our family want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindness we have felt this week,” Nicole wrote in a joint post with her sister, Antonia, 54. “Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Nicole has continued to honor her mother in the wake of her death. During a December 2024 interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Nicole revealed the last piece of wisdom she received from her mom.

“The final words my mama said, which I didn’t know were gonna be the final words … I was going to get on a plane and go back to see her. And she was like, ‘Maybe wait a minute because I think you just need to take care of yourself right now, Nicky,’” she recalled. “So, I’m doing that more. And I say that to other people in the world, and particularly women. I think we tend not to take care of ourselves.”

Former En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson has fallen on hard times.

Robinson then claimed that her former manager offered to let Robinson stay with him until she got back on her feet. However, both he and Robinson had dogs and there wasn’t enough space in his place for two people and two canines. As a result, the manager volunteered to get her a hotel where she ended up staying for “eight months”

While Robinson looked for a place to live, she said the manager offered to help her and attend listings with her — but didn’t follow through. When she asked him for his thoughts, she said he allegedly found something wrong with each housing option.

“I’m trying to make this easier on you because financially I know it’s got to be hard,” she said she told her former manager in the video. “You’re paying rent and you’re paying my hotel.”

After finding no success on the home front, Robinson said she decided to research car life and was impressed with the lifestyle.

“There’s a whole community of people who live in their cars and a whole community of people who live in their RVs and a whole community of people who live in their vans,” she reflected. “And I loved what I was seeing. I just thought, ‘Wow, these people. I could do this, I think.’”

Robinson left the hotel for good in 2022 and took her car up to Malibu. While she said she found the first night to be “scary,” Robinson had no regrets about her decision and she ended up getting comfortable as she learned the ins and outs of car life, including how to cover her windows and being selective of the information she shared with others around her.

“I felt free,” she shared. “That was a sense of freedom that I had. I was so free.”

Robinson claimed that many people encouraged her not to be so candid about her current living situation, fearing it would lead to public judgment. For Robinson, she said she wasn’t worried about others’ perception of her lifestyle.

Grant Amato made headlines long before he was named in the alleged murder plot against Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin.

According to a police report obtained by Us Weekly, Amato was named as the Floridian prison inmate who was allegedly talking to Aaron’s wife, Victoria Goodwin. In her alleged conversations with Amato, Victoria expressed her desire to leave her marriage. One of her alleged text messages read, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”

Victoria was arrested in March 2025 on charges of soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder, per inmate records in Clark County, Nevada. TMZ was the first to report.

Victoria has denied the allegations. She claimed that she never wanted to have her husband killed and that she didn’t remember sending the messages to Amato.

Billy Joel has postponed multiple of his upcoming tour dates after undergoing surgery.

Joel has rescheduled eight shows due to an undisclosed “medical condition.” The decision to push the dates back came so Joel could recover from “recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors.” He is expected to make a full recovery.

The dates affected include his upcoming shows in Toronto, Detroit, Syracuse, New York, Milwaukee, Salt Lake City and Charlotte. The change in schedule also affected two of Joel’s upcoming international performances in Edinburgh and Liverpool. Josh Allen’s contract extension salary with the Buffalo Bills has been revealed.

Multiple outlets confirmed that Allen’s new deal with the Bills is worth $330 million. A reported $250 million of that salary is guaranteed — a record for the NFL.

Allen, 28, is now one of the highest paid football players in the league and joins the ranks of quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, DeShaun Watson and Dak Prescott. Mahomes, 29, signed a 10-year contract for $450 million in 2020. Meanwhile, Watson, 29, agreed to a $230 million guaranteed contract in 2022. Prescott, 31, earned a four-year contract extension of $240 million last summer.

Allen’s new deal comes after his impressive 2024-2025 season. Not only did Allen lead the Bills to their fifth consecutive AFC East title, he is also the current reigning NFL MVP. While accepting the accolade at the NFL Honors in February, Allen gave a shout-out to his fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld, for all her support.

“They only have a few timeframes they can have the wedding, so they are nailing down the logistics and are location scouting right now,” the source explained. “It will be a very intimate but extravagant event.”

Lauren Graham is aware that Gilmore Girls fans want another revival series — but acknowledged it’s not an easy task to accomplish.

“How do you honor those people who have kept [Gilmore Girls] alive?” Graham, 57, asked host Dax Shepard on the Monday, March 10, episode of his “Armchair Expert” podcast. “Is it giving them more? Is it doing what Reese Witherspoon is doing with Legally Blonde, Elle the prequel? Is this a Captain Marvel multiverse where you wanna follow whoever? Or do you try to go back?”

Gilmore Girls ran for seven seasons on the WB from 2000 to 2007. The show starred Graham as Lorelai and Alexis Bledel as her daughter Rory. Nine years after the series finale, the drama was revived for a miniseries on Netflix titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. For Graham, coming back to the series after nearly a decade was a rewarding experience.

“For me, it was an incredibly satisfying, beautiful, cried every day experience,” she reflected. “I could mark some growth I felt I had in terms of that character, that time. Working with [creator] Amy [Sherman-Palladino]. It felt different so all the stuff I love about it was the same but it was better and different than a more grown-up version.”

It’s not [multiple] episodes but it’s seeing all your friends together again.”

The actress shared that she thought it was “a sweet ‘where are they now?’ thing” for the pair’s characters.”

Graham added that in order for the show to have another life “it just can’t be the same,” which is why she thinks a holiday catchup would be the best bet.

While Graham is grateful that the decision is not in her hands, she said if she gets the call for another revival she’ll “do it.”

Freddie Prinze Jr. has come a long way since he made his acting debut.

Prinze Jr. was born in Los Angeles to Katherine Elaine Prinze and standup comedian Freddie Prinze. Upon his father’s death in 1977, Prinze Jr. and his mom relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The authorities have been piecing together the timeline for Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa’s deaths.

Us Weekly confirmed on February 27 that Hackman, Arakawa and one of their dogs were found dead at their Santa Fe home the previous day. The Academy Award winner was 95 while his wife was 64. Hackman’s family later confirmed the couple’s passing.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy. He was loved and admired by millions around the world for his brilliant acting career, but to us he was always just Dad and Grandpa,” Hackman’s daughters and granddaughter told Us in a statement at the time. “We will miss him sorely and are devastated by the loss.”

While law enforcement ruled out foul play, an investigation commenced to determine the pair’s cause of death.

Nearly one week later, the chief medical examiner for New Mexico, Dr. Heather Jarrell, revealed the official causes of death in a press conference. She determined that Hackman died due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor while Arakawa’s death was due to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome.

February 9

During a March 7 press conference, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza revealed that Arakawa picked up their dog, Zinna, from a veterinary hospital after the pup underwent a procedure.

February 11

Two days after picking up Zinna from the vet, the classical musician conversed with her massage therapist via email. That same day, Arakawa was spotted running multiple errands around town, per surveillance footage viewed by authorities.

“Mrs. Arakawa was at the Sprouts Farmers Market between 3:30 and 4:15 p.m. Mrs. Arakawa was seen on surveillance video at the CVS Pharmacy in Santa Fe from in 4:12 to 4:20 p.m. She then stopped at a local pet food store at about 4:54 p.m.,” Mendoza said during the March 7 press conference. “Her car was seen on surveillance and the remote control clicker that was assigned to her and her vehicle was used to enter the subdivision to gain access to the gated community at 5:15 p.m.”

After Arakawa returned to her and Hackman’s home, she received multiple emails that went unanswered. Jarrell stated it was “reasonable to conclude” that Arakawa died on this day.

February 17

Amid the investigation, Mendoza shared on February 28 that Hackman’s pacemaker recorded its last event nine days before the actor’s body was discovered. When asked by a reporter if that meant Hackman could have been dead since that last registered moment, Mendoza stated it was very likely per the pathologist on the case.

February 18

It was later determined that Hackman most likely died one day after the final recording on his pacemaker.

“There is no reliable scientific method to accurately determine the exact date or time of death. Mr. Hackman’s initial pacemaker data revealed cardiac activity on February 17. With subsequent pacemaker interrogation demonstrating abnormal rhythm of atrial fibrillation on February 18, which was the last record of heart activity,” Jarrell said on March 7. “Based on this information, it is reasonable to conclude that Mr. Hackman probably died around February 18.”

February 26

Days later, a welfare check for Hackman and Arakawa was initiated after a maintenance worker called 911 to report that the pair were unresponsive. The worker was outside their home and noticed the bodies through a window.

When the police arrived at the scene, they found Hackman, Arakawa and one of their dogs deceased. Two additional healthy dogs were also found on the couple’s property.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, an open pill bottle with the medication scattered next to Arakawa’s body. She was reportedly in a “state of mummification.”

February 27

News broke the following day that Hackman and Arakawa passed away.

February 28

One day after news broke a preliminary autopsy revealed that both Hackman and Arakawa did not show signs of “external trauma.”

March 4

Hackman’s daughters worried that the actor and Arakawa suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. The fire department did not find evidence of a carbon monoxide leak. However, the gas company later revealed there was a “minuscule leak” of 0.33 percent gas in the air — which is a nonlethal amount — at one of the stove burners

March 5

Police initially reported that Hackman and Arakawa’s German shepherd was the one found deceased. However, the dog was misidentified by the officers as it was revealed that the pair’s kelpie mix, Zinna, was the one who passed away.

“Our deputies, they don’t work with canines on a daily basis,” a spokesperson told the Associated Press at the time.

March 7

Hackman and Arakawa’s causes of death were revealed in a press conference after the pair’s family were notified first. Hackman died due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor.

“I think he died as a result of his heart disease with the Alzheimer’s being a contributing factor,” Jarrell said, noting that it was difficult to say it was a heart attack.

Arakawa died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, which was considered to be a natural cause. Jarrell added that due to Hackman’s Alzheimer’s condition, he may not have realized his wife passed.

“I can tell you that he was in an advanced state of all and it’s quite possible that he was not aware she was deceased,” the medical professional said.

While Hackman and Arakawa’s dog’s death has not been determined a vet ruled out hantavirus since dogs cannot catch the condition.

Anna Kendrick skirted multiple questions about working with Blake Lively for Another Simple Favor.

Kendrick, 39, attended the SXSW premiere of her and Lively’s new film on Friday, March 7. While on the red carpet, Kendrick was asked how it was to work with Lively, 37, again after A Simple Favor premiered in 2018.

“Oh, you know,” Kendrick quipped to Entertainment Tonight before walking off to take a selfie with a fan.

Another Simple Favor is Lively’s first movie release since her ongoing legal drama with Baldoni. In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us costar accusing him of sexual harassment and attempting to launch a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni has denied the allegations and filed his own lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and her publicist in January, citing defamation among other claims. The legal matter is ongoing and is scheduled to go to trial next year.

Guy Gansert is trading the Bachelor mansion for Port Charles.

The Golden Bachelorette runner-up, 66, has landed a guest starring role on General Hospital, per People. Gansert, who is a retired ER doctor, will play a wildlife journalist named Geoffrey Beckett who makes his debut on the Wednesday, March 12, episode.

“They loved the idea of a real ER doctor who made it to the final two of The Golden Bachelorette,” he told the outlet on Friday, March 7. “Even though I was ecstatic over being a cast member on The Golden Bachelorette, this was an exciting opportunity to actually act and be a part of an iconic show. This is all happening after deciding to hang up my stethoscope and retire after 35 years.”

When unmanaged for a long period, it can lead to problems including heart failure and arrhythmias.

Arteriosclerosis occurs when a person’s arteries become thick and stiff compared to the typically flexible and elastic consistency a healthy one, per the Mayo Clinic. The arteries’ walls can harden over time. When the artery walls have a buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances it results in plaque which can cause the vessels to narrow and block blood flow.

In most patients, a mild case of arteriosclerosis typically does not display symptoms. If the condition is detected early, doctors can typically prevent it from worsening into a heart attack or stroke. However, the disease slowly gets worse over time.

The Friday press conference revealed that authorities believe Hackman died on February 18, eight days before his body was discovered. It was also determined that Arakawa’s cause of death was hantavirus pulmonary syndrome; she is believed to have died a week before her husband on February 11. Hackman and Arakawa’s family was informed of the autopsy findings prior to the press conference.

Abby Lee Miller had an impromptu run-in with Tate McRae in Los Angeles — and it seemingly did not go well.

“I don’t know her that well, I just know her [enough] to say ‘Hello,’” the dance coach, 59, said of McRae, 21, during the Thursday, March 6, episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “I just saw her at Craig’s having dinner a couple weeks ago.”

“I think that it’s great that she can whack her leg up there while she’s [singing],” Miller said of McRae’s signature dance moves while performing. “It shows that you have to do everything. You have to be a triple threat – she’ll be acting next, probably.”

Before becoming a singer, McRae got her start as a competitive dancer. In one episode of Dance Moms, McRae beat out a couple of Miller’s students, including her star pupil Maddie Ziegler. Miller, for her part, defended her dancers and explained how their training differed from McRae’s process.

The Lifetime reality series, which aired for eight seasons, followed Miller and her dance company as she trained a group of girls for the studio’s competitive dance team. Miller was known for being strict with her students — who were primarily young children. She trained several big names including Ziegler, JoJo Siwa, Kendall Vertes, Nia Sioux and more.

Once Dance Moms wrapped up in 2019, Miller sold her iconic studio that was featured on the series. Now, she hosts her “Leave It On The Dance Floor” podcast.

Jackye Clayton and Lauren McKinney may not have won The Amazing Race but the sisters did conquer some big fears.

In the season 37 premiere, fans saw Clayton, 51, get emotional as she and McKinney, 61, were tasked with climbing up a colossal series of stairs at the Tian Tan Buddha in Hong Kong. Clayton explained on the show that she suffered a scary fall from a series of steps that required her to get surgery and sparked a phobia.

“I think about it every time I see stairs,” Clayton exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, March, following their elimination from the competition series. “Like last week at a basketball game, I had to hold popcorn and there wasn’t an aisle. And I was like, ‘Oh, let me do it.’ I just wanted to call my sister and say, ‘Lauren, I took the stairs without a guardrail.’”

Clayton couldn’t help but feel “so proud” of herself for facing the fear and she was even more grateful that the series included it in the episode.

“I don’t know if everyone watching would know this was major for me. This is my jumping out of an airplane or trying to do a trapeze,” she said. “Like, for me it was a major deal. So I am ultimately proud of myself.”

When watching the show back, Clayton looked at the aerial shot of the lengthy stairs and was still amazed she climbed up and down them. While a fear of stairs might not be an ideal trait for an Amazing Race competitor, Clayton explained that she trained and practiced for it since stairs have popped up before.

“The first thing that we had to do was run down the stairs,” she quipped. “‘And I was like, ‘Oh good. We got the stairs over with out of the way.’”

McKinney, for her part, gushed about how proud she was of her sister for not backing down from the challenge.

“I never felt like she disappointed me at all. All I could think about was, ‘Wow, there’s somebody out there that’s watching this because there’s a fear. There’s something that they don’t talk about with someone because they feel like they’ll be ridiculed or judged or whatever because it’s so minor,’” McKinney told Us. “Maybe it’ll help us all just stop. Everybody’s going through something on their own, sometimes their own silent journey. And you can extend a hand and be a help to somebody and let them actually it’s the opposite.”

In addition to Clayton taking on the stairs, McKinney had a moment herself when she stepped up to complete the first Roadblock of the season. McKinney was tasked with climbing up a Cheung Chau Bun Festival bamboo tower — which she did without an issue. However, tackling the heights-themed challenges was not on McKinney’s radar.

“We watched every season of The Amazing Race. Leading up to this, we decided in advance who’s going to do this, who’s gonna eat that if it comes up, who’s gonna, and she was gonna do all the height things,” she explained. “Put me in the mud. I’ll climb through mud, I’ll push ox, I don’t care, swim, whatever she was gonna do all the height things jump out of a plane bunch, whatever. So I was not gonna do that.”

After Clayton’s emotional moment with the stairs, McKinney knew that the pair had a significant delay and were already in last place. So she decided to give her sister a break and master the tower herself.

“She had just conquered those stairs. I had to conquer this tower,” McKinney told Us. “So I just knew something within me you don’t like, I didn’t even feel scared. It just went away. I just went straight into, ‘I have to do this.’”

“There was that feeling of when you overcome something that you didn’t think you could. I knew my sister was waiting for me at the bottom,” she reflected. “I couldn’t see her, but I knew she was there cheering me on the whole way. So it was absolutely amazing and quite a moment.”

Despite the mixed reviews from the public, Kaling explained that she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the Duchess of Sussex, 43, but hinted she didn’t really want to discuss the show.

“I loved my time with Meghan. I’m also like, let her promote her show, I’m here to talk about Running Point,” Kaling said, referring to her own Netflix series, which stars Kate Hudson.

Kaling ended the discussion by reiterating that the appearance was “great” and it was “fascinating” to see the people’s “reaction.”

The Office alum made a guest appearance on the second episode of With Love Meghan. The women revealed that they connected via email. They bonded over motherhood and struck up a friendship. In their episode, Kaling referred to Meghan by her maiden name and the duchess corrected her on her last name — which ultimately went viral.

“It’s so funny you keep saying Markle. You know it’s Sussex now,” Meghan said. “You have kids and you go, I share my name with my children. I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me but it just means so much to go, this is our family name. Our little family now.”

Kaling replied, “Now I know and I love it.”

In addition to the last name snafu, Kaling grilled Meghan on the number order for her jam brand, which was sent out to many members of the royal’s inner circle.

“[It was] probably one of the most glamorous moments of my life,” Kaling reflected on receiving jar No. 19 before asking the question on everyone’s minds. “As a very hierarchical person, I was like, who are these people? Does having a lower number make me more special?”

Meghan reassured her that it was not “a ranking” of her celebrity friends.

“It was just, ‘Let me share them.’ And then people started to take it very personally,” she said, noting that her mother, Doria Ragland, also received a jar of jam.

Mark Crawford and Larry Graham’s elimination on The Amazing Race came down to a footrace to the finish line.

“When we drove up, we were trying to get outta the taxi, but there was a bus there and the cab driver wouldn’t allow us to get out there,” Graham, 59, exclusively told Us Weekly of his and Crawford’s elimination. “And by that time when we got out, they were running and so we fell in behind them.”

During the premiere episode, Graham and Crawford were neck and neck with two teams: dating nurses Courtney Ramsey and Jasmin Carey plus brothers Nick Fiorito and Mike Fiorito. Graham added that the time difference between the three teams was “probably less than a minute.”

“It was close,” Crawford told Us. “We could see ’em. They were there.”

In the episode, viewers saw Ramsey and Carey struggle to find transportation in the busy streets of Hong Kong. The women were the second to last to arrive at the Fork in the Road stop. They ultimately chose to do the dancing task, thinking they could pass other teams, including Graham and Crawford.

Graham and Crawford immediately opted for the dancing challenge rather than the singing one (which had fewer teams signed up at the time) since neither one of them was confident in their vocal abilities. The retired firefighters were also hesitant to attempt to sing in Chinese.

“If you [heard] us sing, then you would know that it really wasn’t [an option],” Crawford quipped. “There was a clear fork there, but we only had one way we were going.”

While Graham and Crawford took some extra time at the dancing challenge, they confessed the task had an extra difficult element due to the language barrier between them and their instructor.

“When we were communicating with our guy, he could dance really well. He could play the little drum beat. But we lost a little bit in interpretation,” Crawford told Us. “The dance wasn’t difficult, but we couldn’t get the steps down because it was just a slight communication issue.”

As Crawford and Graham navigated the challenge, they shared that they weren’t surprised to see Ramsey and Carey catch up to them since they were unsure of their place overall.

“You never know where people are in the race either. We had no idea where we were,” Graham explained. “Like when we got to the Fork in the Road. We were, like, number seven or something right in the middle of the pack. And I was thinking, ‘We’re like dead last.’”

Much like Ramsey and Carey, Graham and Crawford also struggled with getting a ride after letting their cab go once they got to the Fork in the Road.

“Things happen … we’re thankful just to be where we were in the race. And what you don’t realize is it’s not as many taxis,” Graham said. “Sometimes you get one, but then you have to figure out how you can communicate where you’re going.”
