Woman Claims She Was Raped by Diddy When She Was a Teen Babysitter

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of rape by another alleged victim in a new lawsuit.

In the complaint, which was filed in New York and obtained by Us Weekly, the woman claimed Diddy raped her in 2000 when she was a 16-year-old high school student. The plaintiff, who was identified as Jane Doe, said she was living in Manhattan with her parents and claimed to be working as a babysitter in an apartment building where Diddy’s partner also lived. (It is unclear who the romantic partner was.)

The accuser claimed she came across Diddy, now 55, and two other men who allegedly worked for him. Diddy repeatedly asked her whether she wanted a ride home, which she refused before ultimately getting in the car with him.

The woman alleged that she became concerned when she was not dropped off at her house, claiming that she was offered a drink to “calm her down.” The plaintiff alleged that the drink made her feel “groggy” and “unsteady.”

Diddy Accused of Raping, Threatening to Kill 19-Year-Old in New Lawsuit

The accuser claimed she was taken to another location by Diddy and his two employees before he raped her. The woman was then taken to her home. (The other two employees are not named in the lawsuit.)

Diddy’s legal team denied the accusations in a statement to Us.

“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor,” the statement read. “We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”

The new lawsuit is one of many against Diddy since his ex Cassie accused him of sexual abuse in a bombshell lawsuit in November 2023. Diddy’s lawyer Ben Brafman denied the accusations on his behalf at the time, and Cassie and Diddy settled out of court one day after her court filing. Last year, a 2016 video that showed Diddy assaulting Cassie in a hotel resurfaced. Diddy publicly apologized for his actions.

Diddy Accused of Sexual Assault in 4th Lawsuit, Denies 'Awful' Claims

In March 2024, several of Diddy’s residences — including homes in Miami and Los Angeles — were raided by Homeland Security in connection to a sex trafficking investigation. Six months later, Diddy was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. As he awaits a criminal trial in May, Diddy has denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” read a statement to Us in October 2024. “In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman.”

Hilary Duff and her husband, Matthew Koma, have lent a helping hand to Mandy Moore and Taylor Goldsmith’s family amid the Los Angeles wildfires.

Taylor’s brother, Griffin Goldsmith, revealed that Duff and Koma, both 37, have taken in Moore, 40, and Taylor, 39, — as well as their three children: Gus, 3, Oscar, 2, and Lou, 3 months. (Duff and Koma, for their part, share children Banks, 6, Mae, 3, and Townes, 20 months. Duff is also mom to son Luca, 12, whom she shares with ex Mike Comrie.)

“Our dear friends @matthewkoma and @hilaryduff thought it wise to set up a gofundme for us to help with everything moving forward,” Griffin, 34, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, January 13. “Not to mention they are currently housing my brother’s family. They’ve taken care of my entire family from the moment this began. I will never be able to thank them adequately. This is the kindest act any human could do for another. They are the most beautiful, selfless people we’ve ever known.”

Tens of thousands of people were forced to evacuate due to the Los Angeles wildfires, which began after a windstorm sparked brush fires on January 7. Moore shared on January 9 that her home with Taylor had been destroyed in the fire. While the “main part” of their residence is still standing, it is “not livable.” She also noted at the time that Griffin and Kit lost their home, as well.

While reflecting on the wildfires in his Monday post, Griffin shared a carousel of photos via Instagram on January 12 of the destruction.

“It’s Impossible to express how much we’re feeling right now,” Griffin wrote. “We’ve lost everything. 8 years of memories made in our house. 20 years of gear. My wife @quintessentiallykit was applying the finishing touches to the nursery for our baby boy who’s due in a few weeks. She had, throughout the years, poured her heart and soul into making the property a literal piece of paradise. Anyone who had the chance the visit can attest.”

Griffin continued, “We often would say to each other ‘I want to live together in this house for the rest of our lives’. We had convinced our whole family and closest friends to join us in Altadena. Our parents were around the corner. They lost their house as well.”

Griffin, who’s married to Kit Goldsmith, noted that Taylor and Moore are “just down the street” while the couple’s other loved ones live blocks away.

“All of these houses are gone. The thing we mourn the most is the loss of the community,” he wrote. “Unfortunately, we aren’t the only people reckoning with this. We’ve all had to watch our home, the city we love so much, transform overnight into an infernal hellscape. And it’s by no means over….”

Griffin called the situation “so overwhelming” before noting that it’s “equally overwhelming” to see the love and generosity they have received. Griffin extended his gratitude to everyone who donated to their fund.

“I’ve never been so moved in my life. We are completely blown away. I can’t talk or think about it without crying,” he wrote. “Like I said there aren’t words to describe how I feel. I’m doing my best. You all have completely changed what the picture of our future in Los Angeles looks like.”

Griffin continued his emotional post in the comments section, noting that he and his wife have confidence they “will be OK” as they begin parenthood.

Celebrities Share Personal Photos of Heartbreaking Los Angeles Wildfires

“This baby will be born into a fractured Los Angeles. But because of you all he will be met with warmth and love and comfort,” he wrote. “I’m so buoyed by everyone’s generosity. It allows me to believe that we can build back the neighborhood so that it is stronger and more beautiful than before.”

He continued, “There are so many people that need help and I know based on our own experience that so many are motivated to help. We are too. I love you all. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to respond to texts. There have been too many❤.”

Griffin pledged to continue to help those affected by the wildfires “in whatever way we can,” noting that his and Taylor’s band Dawes “will be involved in raising money for the community when the dust has settled.”

In his slideshow of images, Griffin shared a picture of a CD burned on the ground. That last photo of the burned record was taken by Wylie,” he wrote. “It was one of the few things he found in the ashes of his own home.”

Sandra Lee Says Her House ‘Still Stands’ Amid L.A. Wildfires

Since the fires began, Moore has been asking her followers to consider donating to Griffin and Kit’s GoFundMe to support the family. After receiving backlash for sharing the fundraiser, Moore hit back.

“[For] people questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money Google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic,” Moore wrote via Instagram on January 9. “Of course we are. Our buddy Matt started this GoFundMe and I’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them.”

Moore reminded her followers that “no one is forcing you to do anything,” adding, “We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF.”

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Explain Stories Behind Their Kids' Names

13 January 2025 at 12:31

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, have kept up with a theme when it comes to baby names.

After getting engaged in September 2020, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Patrick and Brittany welcomed daughter Sterling Skye in February 2021. The pair tied the knot in March 2022 and added son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III to their family that November.

“My second child, Patrick Mahomes III. I have to say his real name or his dad will get mad,” Brittany explained on the Kelly Clarkson Show in January 2024. “His name is Patrick [and] we call him Bronze.” (The NFL player’s full name is Patrick Lavon Mahomes II and he was named after his father, Pat Mahomes Sr.)

Brittany and Patrick announced in July 2024 they were expecting their third child. In January 2025, the duo shared via Instagram that they welcomed daughter Golden Raye.

Scroll down to see what Patrick and Brittany have said over the years about their kids’ names:

Sterling Was Initially Meant for Their Dog

Brittany shared the origins of Sterling’s name during an Instagram Story Q&A in April 2023. “I got Steel in college and named him that,” she explained of the couple’s older dog. “We then got our second dog and was gonna name her Sterling because it went with Steel perfect.”

Brittany continued, “Then I said no, I want that to be my daughter’s name, so then we came up with Silver to go with Steel.”

Brittany explained that they were “already set on Sterling” when they were expecting their daughter. “Then having a boy and him being Patrick Mahomes III, Bronze was just meant to be and went perfect,” she wrote.

Patrick shared that he initially had another name in mind for his son. “We were going with Trey at first because the third obviously and everything like that,” he explained while speaking on The Drive on Audacy’s 610 Sports Radio (Kansas City) in December 2022, per People.

While keeping in the family’s tradition, Bronze’s moniker happened by chance. “My brother Jackson [Mahomes], whenever we were trying to find something that was a little unique and different, he said, ‘What about Bronze? It fits perfectly with Sterling,’” Patrick said during a press conference in November 2022. “So, we went with that.”

He continued, “It works out well. He can have his own thing now where he’s not Patrick, he’s Bronze, even though he’s Patrick. And, Sterling and Bronze can have that connection moving forward.”

Carrie Underwood is scheduled to perform at Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration.

News broke of Underwood’s gig on Monday, January 13, after reporter Matthew Foldi shared a leaked copy of the program for the event via X.

On the paper, Underwood, 41, is listed as singing “America the Beautiful” during the January 20 inauguration and will be joined by the Armed Forces Chorus and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club.

“I love our country & am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement, per a CNN correspondent. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

A spokesperson for the Presidential Inaugural Committee confirmed the news to Deadline. Us Weekly reached out to Underwood’s rep for comment.

The performance comes two months before Underwood is set to return to American Idol as a judge. ABC confirmed in August 2024 that Underwood would be taking over for Katy Perry on the show, joining Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

“I went from nobody knowing my name to tens of millions of people watching the show,” Underwood said in a video announcing her role. “I’m proud of everything that I was able to accomplish on the show and I’m so proud of everything I’ve accomplished since.”

Executive producer Megan Wolflick opened up about why they chose Underwood, who won the reality singing competition in 2005.

A Look Back at Carrie Underwood's 'American Idol' Winning Season

“Well, it is 20 years since she auditioned in St. Louis for American Idol, and to have the first-ever Idol alum on the panel has always been something that’s been interesting to me,” Wolflick told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “She is our queen, she is our icon of American Idol.”

Wolflick explained that they had been searching “and obviously talking to Carrie for a little bit here.” She added, “It has been a little over two months since the [season 22] finale, but these talks have been going on for a while and we’ve been really excited to make it all happen.”

Wolflick gushed that longtime host Ryan Seacrest, who has been on the show every season since the premiere, is looking forward to welcoming Underwood back.

“Ryan couldn’t be more excited, since he has been there every step of the way with Carrie,” Wolflick said. “He was like just over the moon about it.”

She continued, “It’s a new era of the show and every new chapter of American Idol. When we open up that first page, it is just as exciting as closing a chapter, and I cannot wait to embark on this journey with our first Idol alum with the panel.”

Why Bachelor’s Kelsey Anderson Isn’t Wearing Her Engagement Ring

Kelsey Anderson may not be rocking her engagement ring 24/7 — but that doesn’t mean there’s trouble in paradise in her relationship with fiancé Joey Graziadei.

Anderson, 26, reacted in a TikTok to a user who asked, “Where is your engagement ring?” on Sunday, January 12. In response, Anderson held up her hands — which did not feature her ring — to the camera and quipped, “Ah, where is it? I don’t know! I’m scared. What the heck.”

“I’m joking,” she continued. “I’m just not wearing it. And you know what that means. It means I’m still engaged cause it’s literally just a symbol.”

Anderson noted that she doesn’t “all of a sudden take it off” as a hint that she’s no longer engaged to Graziadei, 29.

Joey Graziadei Admits ‘DWTS’ Was ‘Difficult at Times’ on Kelsey Romance

“I realize that it causes excess wear and tear whenever I wear it, like whenever I work out, you know just wear it all the time,” she said. “I’ve been trying to practice taking care of it better, putting it away whenever I get home or whenever I’m working out.”

Anderson explained that she “warped” the ring and needed to get it fixed because “one of the diamonds fell out” due to how she was caring for the jewelry. “Now I’m trying to be more responsible,” she said.

While slamming the speculation about her relationship status, Anderson pointed out the double standard since Graziadei isn’t expected to wear a ring. “Y’all didn’t say anything to him. It’s cause I’m a woman,” she said. “That’s real nice.”

“But yeah, I know I’m in a public relationship and that’s why people are like, ‘What?’” she said. “But yeah, all good in the hood over here.”

Anderson accepted a proposal from Graziadei during The Bachelor season 28, which aired in March 2024.

“I know there’s a lot of tough decisions through this journey, and that’s what makes today really difficult. But there is nothing difficult about choosing you. And I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” Joey said during his proposal speech. “There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It’s a feeling I’ve never had before. I know during this time that we’ve built a very strong flame and the only reason I know that flame will never go out is because you’re my light.”

Following the show, the couple relocated to Los Angeles for Graziadei to compete on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars. (Graziadei won the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with partner Jenna Johnson.) The pair ultimately decided to settle down in the area.

“I’m excited to take this version of a routine that I’ve created with Dancing and then build it into my own. I’m excited to see what’s gonna possibly [be] next for me,” he said during an appearance on the “Lightweights” podcast in November 2024. “I’m really excited, we’ve decided to stay in L.A. I’m excited to build a home together. We got an apartment. I cannot wait to make it feel like something that’s really ours.”

Justine Bateman Criticizes Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Helping L.A. Fire Victims

13 January 2025 at 09:59

Justine Bateman is criticizing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s efforts to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires.

“Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers. What a repulsive ‘photo op’ they achieved. They are ‘touring the damage’? Are they politicians now?” Bateman, 58, wrote via X on Saturday, January 11. “They don’t live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists. #PalisadesFire.”

Alongside the message, the Family Ties actress reshared a Friday, January 10, video of Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, speaking with people affected by the fires. While visiting the World Central Kitchen, Harry and Meghan wore masks around their necks. (Bateman previously thanked the LAPD and LAFD, writing via X, “We love you so much. Thank you for protecting us with your unjustly-limited resources. We thank you and bless you endlessly. #PalisadesWildfire #SunsetFire.”)

Us Weekly understands that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex volunteered to hand out food and supplies to victims of the Eaton Fire. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, offered their support as they heard stories from those affected by the wildfire and witnessed a strong community spirit.

Monetary donations have also been made via their charity organization, Archewell Foundation, for relief, recovery and rebuild efforts.

After tens of thousands of people were forced to evacuate their homes in the Los Angeles area due to the wildfires, Harry and Meghan opened up their Montecito, California, home to friends who were affected. (Their home is about 80 miles north of the Pacific Palisades area, where the fires first broke out.) The twosome have also created a dedicated page on their official website to the wildfires, sharing resources for organizations aiding the relief efforts. In addition, the Duchess delayed the planned January 15 launch of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan to March in order to “focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” she said in a statement.

Harry and Meghan, who are parents to son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3, initially moved to California from the U.K. in 2020. They spent several months at Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles home before buying their own in Montecito.

Ali Larter and her husband, Hayes MacArthur, have been by each other’s side for two decades.

The pair first crossed paths in 2005 while filming the movie Homo Erectus and went on to pursue a relationship.

“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow,” Larter told Cosmopolitan in 2007. “I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”

Larter and MacArthur announced they were engaged in 2007. “Since I was 15 years old, all I wanted was to find the guy I was going to marry. My heart got broken so many times because I put so much pressure on it. And then … I got blindsided,” she told Cosmopolitan in 2009. “[He] showed me the way, and all was right. This is how it’s supposed to be.”

Us Weekly confirmed in 2009 that Larter and MacArthur tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, Maine. The couple went on to welcome son Theodore in 2010 and daughter Vivienne in 2015.

Larter explained to Us how she and MacArthur maximize their date nights as parents of two. “We like to walk to dinner,” Larter said. “We love to go out and get pasta and a beautiful bottle of wine and just take our time. We don’t want to just rush to a restaurant and rush to eat. It’s really about getting off the clock.”

Larter added that she sees qualities of herself and MacArthur in her kids. “Teddy’s like me because we run hot, we definitely have a little temper and it takes us a minute to simmer down,” she said. “My daughter is so funny. She giggles at herself, she laughs at everything, and she’s very similar to my husband in that way. Just totally the most fun person to be around.”

2020

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Larter and MacArthur moved their family from Los Angeles to Idaho.

November 2024

Larter exclusively told Us that she never imagined she would end up in Idaho. “It unfolded in the most incredible way for us,” she said. “If you had told me this 20 years ago, even five years ago, I would have never believed that I’d be living in a very small town in the mountains.”

She continued, “We absolutely adore it, and we are so grateful to get to raise our family here. It’s really, really beautiful to live a smaller life with our children during this chapter.”

Ali Larter ‘Never Believed’ She’d Leave Hollywood and Settle Down in Idaho

January 2025

Larter reflected on her and MacArthur’s move to Idaho during a January 2025 appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark.

“Our kids’ schools were shut down during COVID and we were like, ‘Why are we just sitting here?’ It was not working at all in Los Angeles,” Larter said during the episode. “So, my husband said, ‘Let’s take a road trip to Idaho [and] go skiing with the kids.’”

The getaway trip turned into a longer stay. “We fall in love with nature and the mountains and this entire new life,” she gushed. “We totally pivoted and went for it. We literally had our house [in California] for less than a year. We went back to L.A. and we realized we wanted to put our family first.”

Larter continued, “Our life is so different there and it’s a small town, and it kind of holds you to a different type of accountability. It’s something that me and Hayes really wanted to do for our children, so we did.”

Larter explained that the family has “a real life” that is “rooted in reality” after relocating to Idaho.

“We’re so grateful,” Larter said, later joking that Theodore initially wasn’t pleased with the idea. “He likes fast cars and designer colognes and that whole thing, like, he wants to be in the big city. I’m like, ‘At 18, you can go [back].’ … He really likes it now and I think he understands how great his wolf pack is there.”

Larter added that she and MacArthur “feel if you can hike a mountain, you can run a boardroom.” She concluded, “We just believe in raising them that way.”

Ally Lewber is turning the page on a new chapter following James Kennedy’s arrest.

“Hey guys, I’m going to do a quick vibe check on the astrology for 2025 in the midst of this challenging, scary time which we are clearly experiencing here in L.A. But for everyone personally, worldwide, it’s always important to find the things that bring you comfort and peace,” Lewber, 29, said via TikTok on Sunday, January 12. “For me, that is music, movies, books, music, my cat, astrology, always. So I just wanted to give you a very brief, very brief, scope of the astrology of 2025.”

Lewber explained that there is “a lot happening,” meaning that “some very important planets” are “switching signs.” Lewber noted that this is a “very big deal” because it “brings change.”

“This year is a transition. We are moving into new territory that we haven’t experienced ever, or in a really long time,” Lewber said. “We’re all experiencing and co-creating a new reality together. So it’s really up to us on how we want to show up this year.”

She continued, “We get to be a part of a greater story that will shift and inspire generations to come.”

Lewber said to “expect change” in 2025, which she said is “not easy, but always rewarding.” She added, “Remember that it is OK to feel, it’s great to feel. Again, we’re human. But it’s also nice to just remember that we are just in the process of change. There is still so, so, so much magic to look forward to this year.”

Lewber, who sat inside an apartment while sharing her message, captioned her post, “There will be a lot of new beginnings this year. Keep an open mind and an open heart.”

Lewber’s upload comes one month after Kennedy, 32, was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. Us Weekly confirmed in December 2024 that police were dispatched after receiving a call about an argument between a man and a woman. A witness allegedly saw Kennedy grabbing a woman. Officers responding to the scene did not see any visible injuries, and Kennedy was released on a $20,000 bond.

James Kennedy Knows He Has 'A Lot to Lose' After Arrest

“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” Kennedy’s attorneys said in a statement to Us. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”

Lewber — who has been dating Kennedy since 2022 — broke her silence days after her boyfriend’s arrest.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” Lewber wrote via her Instagram Story in December 2024. “I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”

Following the incident, a source exclusively told Us that the couple are “having some distance” from each other, “but it’s not over.” Us reached out to their reps at the time.

Former General Hospital star Leslie Charleson has died at age 79.

General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini announced Charleson’s death via the show’s official Instagram account on Sunday, January 12.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson,” he wrote. “Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew.”

Alongside the message, Valentini shared a photo of the four-time Daytime Emmy nominee smiling. “I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set,” he continued. “On behalf of everyone at General Hospital, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.”

‘General Hospital’ Star Kelly Monaco’s Soap Opera Ups and Downs

Charleson began playing the role of Monica Quartermaine on the soap opera in 1977, making her the longest-running cast member on General Hospital.

“I started the show the day Elvis Presley died, and being such a huge fan, I of course was very upset driving to the studios, and then getting there I was told that they hoped I had brought my own wardrobe and makeup because there was a strike going on — and that was before I even got in the building,” Charleson recalled to Soap Opera Digest in 2022.

“Then I got in the building and I realized that no one really liked me, because the girl playing Monica before me was very rudely fired,” Charleson continued, referring to Patsy Rahn, whom she replaced.

After 30 years on the show, Charleson appeared on General Hospital in a recurring status in 2010. Charleson, who has had health ups and downs, had returned to the show a few times — most recently appearing in a wheelchair in December 2023.

How Kelly Monaco Landed Her 'Dream' Soap Opera Role After Career Setback

While speaking with Soap Opera Digest in 2016, Charleson — who was married to Bill Demms from 1988 to 1991 — reflected on her General Hospital legacy.

“It has been quite a long run,” she said at the time. “I am just so pleased because, unlike some of the actors that have come and gone, and gone on to other soaps or other things, this has really been my home since I started here, way back then, hundreds of years ago. I am very grateful to keep working at something that I love to do, and I am certainly grateful that it has endured.”

The Wanted's Max George Wrote a Will Before Heart Surgery: 'I Thought I Was Going to Die'

Max George is reflecting on his recent hospitalization for issues with his heart.

“That first night I wrote a will, I thought I was going to die,” George, 36, said in a Saturday, January 11, interview with The Sun.

The Wanted frontman recalled waking up with freezing blue hands on December 11, 2024, while he was staying with his mom.

“I hadn’t been feeling myself for a few days, I started feeling a bit rough,” George said. “I couldn’t put my finger on it. I was quite lethargic and stuff, struggling to get out of bed. But I didn’t think it was anything serious.”

He continued, “Luckily I’d gone around to my mum’s to stay and I woke up and I remember looking at my hands and they were blue, and my arms were a grey colour and I was freezing cold. I struggled to even sit up in bed.”

When George’s mom saw him, she gasped and called a doctor. While George had a check-up and was sent home, his mom continued asking around for help.

“At this point I had a panicky feeling, but was also just absolutely knackered,” he said. “I couldn’t move my arms and the worst feeling was I felt like my throat was closing up. It felt like someone had their hands around my neck. Thank God I stayed at Mum’s house — she saved my life.”

Doctors informed George that something was “not right with the bottom part” of his heart and he would need a pacemaker.

Celebrity Health Scares Through the Years

“For some reason the rhythm is way off and the signal doesn’t seem to be getting from the top chamber of your heart to the bottom part, the bit that pumps the blood around your body,” he recalled the doctors telling him. “I was in complete shock.”

George called the experience “really scary” noting that it was “certainly not a place I thought I’d be in at 36.”

“I was awake all night, feeling a closing in my throat, I was really struggling to move and had really deep, slow breaths,” he said. “There was nothing that they could do to stop that. I could have lived maybe a few weeks, maybe a few months, but it could have been a few hours. We didn’t know.”

Two days after being admitted to the hospital, George’s heart rate dropped to 26 beats per minute.

“Friday, December 13, was the worst day that I had there,” he said. “My heart rate and my blood pressure dropped at the same time, and that was the biggest worry.”

Sean Hayes Recently Went to ER Twice in 1 Night for a ‘Heart Issue'

He continued, “The consultants weren’t there on hand to do the operation in an emergency. It was quite close that night, it really felt like my neck was closing up and that’s when the sort of panic really kicked in. I felt like I was dying. It was the worst, I felt emotional.”

George was taken by an ambulance to a hospital on December 15, where he had a CT scan. He received a pacemaker three days later, with his partner Maisie Smith by his side as he became aware of his surroundings.

“I had a proper heartbeat by then as well. My heart rate started just shooting up. So I remember feeling my feet going tingly, because I think obviously the blood started to properly pump around,” he said.

He continued, “I was like, ‘Holy s—, I feel alive again,’ like it was a really nice feeling. It’d been so hard being away from Maisie, but she climbed on the bed, obviously she lay on the other side of my chest to my op, and put her head on me. We just had a cuddle for a couple of hours while I talked about football and we treated it like normal. I could feel butterflies again next to her.”

Erin Andrews Says Husband Jarret Stoll 'Would Rather We Not Be So Public'

Erin Andrews and her husband, Jarret Stoll, don’t always see eye-to-eye when it comes to sharing their personal lives with the public.

“My husband would rather we not be so public — me not be so public,” Andrews, 46, told Success magazine in an interview published on Friday, January 10.

While the couple, who tied the knot in 2017, navigated their fertility journey, the idea of being private came up. “He was just like, ‘Why do we have to say this?’ And I said, ‘Because these waiting rooms are packed,’” she explained.

Andrews has been candid through the years about her fertility journey, sharing in a 2021 essay for Bulletin that she had been undergoing “time-consuming and emotionally draining” treatments since she was 35. In July 2023, the couple welcomed their first child, son Mack, via surrogate.

Erin Andrews Says She’s Considering Baby No. 2, Talks What Scares Her

Now, the couple is thinking about adding another little one to their family. “We’re talking about trying it again,” Andrews told E! News in October 2024. “I was really, really honest with my doctor a couple weeks ago. I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.’”

Before Mack’s birth, Andrews lost two of her embryos. “It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back, of how crappy you felt, how numb your body gets, just the fear of loss,” she said.

Andrews noted that she and Stoll, 42, leaned on each other through the emotional process, helping each other by sharing their feelings.

“Sometimes men don’t want to talk about this stuff, but they’re also feeling the feels, too,” Andrews said. “My husband was really, really great after we were going through more lows than highs, just being like, ‘This sucks. This just isn’t great. I feel really crappy, and I feel like a failure,’ and that really helped a lot too.”

While navigating her job responsibilities and parenting duties, Andrews shared that she’s still figuring out a proper work-life balance. “I talked about it on a walk with my husband last night as we were walking our dog — we’ve got a lot going on,” she told Success magazine.

Andrews said the start of the NFL season is when her life gets “absolutely crazy” with her work. “Plus it’s a Super Bowl year,” she said. “We have Tom Brady on our broadcasting crew this year. So it’s going to be a lot.”

Aubrey Plaza has deleted her Instagram account one week after the death of her late husband, Jeff Baena.

While Plaza’s account was previously active, a message now reads, “Sorry, this page isn’t available.”

Plaza’s decision to erase her account comes after news broke that Baena died at age 47. According to medical examiner records reviewed by Us Weekly, Baena’s official cause of death is listed as suicide. No additional causes or suspicious circumstances surrounding Baena’s passing were listed.

Days later, Plaza’s rep addressed his death in a statement on behalf of the Parks and Recreation actress and her family. “This is an unimaginable tragedy,” the statement to Us read. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”

Aubrey Plaza Breaks Silence After Husband Jeff Baena's Death at 47

Prior to his death, Plaza, 40, and the filmmaker had been together for 14 years and exchanged vows in 2020. One year after saying “I do,” Plaza recalled how she and Baena decided to tie the knot.

“A lot of things happened during COVID for me. Yes, we got married. Big deal,” Plaza recalled during a December 2021 appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “We got a little bored one night. We got married and I’ll tell you how: Onehourmarriage.com. That’s real, look it up.”

Plaza continued, “We were in the lockdown. Things got a little crazy, especially in my house. My husband got really into tie-dying and when I say tie-dying, I mean 50 shirts a day.”

The White Lotus actress said she wanted to “do something” special for their 10th anniversary and decided to throw a ceremony in their backyard.

“I created a very quick love altar in our yard. Facts of our love, little stones, smoke, fire. Things of that nature,” she said. “Then the man from Alhambra showed up in a Hawaiian shirt with a briefcase [to perform the ceremony]. … I can’t remember a lot of it, it was fuzzy. But I’m pretty sure it’s legal.”

The following year, Plaza shared that her nuptials to Baena was not well-received by some fans. “Oh, my God. Jeff got death threats in his DMs,” Plaza told Cosmopolitan in a 2022 profile. “I think so. People project so much stuff onto marriage, but it wasn’t some big statement I’m trying to make where I want everybody to react to it.”

Bob the Drag Queen Defends Targeting Housewives on ‘The Traitors’

Bob the Drag Queen Defends Targeting Housewives on ‘The Traitors’: ‘Get Over It’

Bob the Drag Queen is aware it was a controversial move to murder two Housewives on The Traitors.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for season 3 of The Traitors.

While recalling his decision with fellow traitors — Danielle Reyes and Carolyn Wiger — to kill The Real Housewives of New York’s Dorinda Medley in episode two, Bob, 38, explained they agreed someone from the Bravo franchise should leave because they “have the strongest numbers.”

“The Survivor people do not like each other. The Housewives are friends,” Bob said on a Friday, January 10, YouTube livestream recapping the first three episodes. “The Survivor people and the Big Brother people have all backstabbed each other, they’ve hurt each other, so they are not buddy-buddy. The Housewives are buddy-buddy, and we do not think they will turn on themselves unless they want to make a point, right?”

[Spoiler] Cried Their ‘Eyes Out’ After Being Murdered 1st on ‘Traitors’

Despite Wiger, 38, thinking Medley, 60, could be a “good shield,” Bob (real name Christopher Delmar Caldwell) said they decided to kill the RHONY alum.

“This really pissed people off on the internet,” Bob said of their decision. “I don’t know this woman. I don’t know that she’s this icon on Real Housewives. I don’t know [if] she’s causing a scene. I have no clue who Dorinda is, so I’m like, ‘Girl, kill her.’ I don’t know, let’s pick someone, because they’re all strangers to me.”

The next morning, the contestants gathered for breakfast and discovered that Medley was missing. While the group’s reactions were shown on camera, Bob and Reyes, 52, were seen crying — but he insisted his emotions were genuine.

“I was not acting,” Bob said. “It genuinely was sad for someone to go. Her dreams got crushed. Yes, I did it, yes I did it,but it was still sad. … I was never really acting on the show. If I was crying, I really was crying because I was emotional. It was also a crazy time in my life.”

‘The Traitors’ Season 3 Cast Includes Sandoval, Chrishell and Gabby Windey

While reflecting on her exit from the show, Medley said she “cried my eyes out.” She told Decider in an interview published Friday, “When I saw that envelope, it was so unexpected. First of all, I think I should have been a traitor. But it was so devastating because unlike the Housewives, where you can sort of go on and you’re in control of what you say, how you say it, what you’re doing … this, you just have no control over.”

Medley shared why she thought the traitors went after the Housewives. “I just think they realized that the Housewives are strong characters. We’re opinionated, and we’re strong,” Medley said. “I think people especially think of me as a strong woman who’s been through a lot of stuff and doesn’t take a lot of bulls—.”

After Wells Adams gets banished from the castle, the traitors’ next move was to kill The Real Housewives of Dubai’s Chanel Ayan. (Boston Rob joined the traitors after their first murder.)

“I know, guys. I know you’re mad at me. Get over it,” Bob told fans on Friday, before explaining his strategy. “Ayan will never get out at the round table. That will never happen, so how are we going to get her out? We have to kill her, right. … I do feel bad that she got murdered but it is what happened.”

The Traitors season 3 airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Denise Richards Is ‘Sure’ Mario Lopez Would Pass ‘Special Forces’

Denise Richards has money on one of her former costars being able to pass Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

“Well, actually, I just interviewed with him and he is my very first costar on Saved by the Bell, Mario Lopez,” Richards, 53, told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published on Saturday, January 11.

Richards revealed that she had a conversation with Lopez, 51, about him appearing on Special Forces. “And I asked him, ‘When are you going to do it?’” she said. “He would do awesome on it. He’d make it to the end, I’m sure.”

The pair appeared alongside each other during a 1991 episode of Saved by the Bell, where Cynthia (Richards) attempts to meet A.C. Slater (Lopez). (The series, which aired for four seasons from 1989 to 1993, followed a group of teens — including Lopez — navigating the highs and lows of high school.)

‘Special Forces’ Soldiers Break Down Denise Richards Revealing Past Assault

While appearing on Special Forces, Richards attempted to jump from a speeding boat to a speeding helicopter and jumped off a bridge before claiming she hurt her back. (She also later revealed she ruptured her breast implants.) As the contestants participated in a punishing Navy SEAL exercise known as surf immersion in the second episode, Richards initially asked to sit out. She ultimately went on to take off her armband, signaling her withdrawal from the competition.

Despite her early exit from the series, Richards said that she’s “very proud” of herself. “I had the guts to jump off a bridge and that I jumped off. I was so happy. Even though I couldn’t climb in that helicopter, I was very happy,” she told the outlet. “I was able to at least grab on and hang from there. I never in a million years thought I could do that.”

Richards was also the first contestant on the show to get vulnerable about her past, revealing that she has frozen in certain situations because she is “completely overcome by fear.” Richards shared during a conversation with the staff that the first time she experienced a “freeze” like that was at age 15.

“I noticed a man following me. He came up from behind me, put his hand around my mouth, grabbed my vagina and started dragging me,” she said. “And I froze, like, I couldn’t even scream for help.”

Denise Richards Teases Her ‘Special Forces’ Experience: 'Never' Again

Before sharing her story on Special Forces, she had previously only told husband Aaron Phypers about the incident. “It’s so scary to have that situation, you know, [at] that age and be so vulnerable,” she continued. “And I have three daughters, and I want them to be able to never go through that. And also, if something, God forbid, happen to be strong enough.”

While recalling Richards’ candidness, Directing Staff instructor Billy Billingham said in a joint interview with fellow soldier Rudy Reyes gave insight into why contestants share their stories.

“Before we do the mirror room, even [if it’s only been 12 hours], you’ve already put through a phase of deprivation,” he said at Us Weekly’s NYC studio on Thursday, January 9. “When you’re tired, you’re hungry, you don’t care anymore. You’re more open. Now there’s something about that, what we call the mirror room. I don’t know why it is — and we are not psychologists and we have no idea what that story’s gonna be right out of that person’s mouth.”

Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test airs on Fox Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Macy Gray Storms Off UK’s 'The Masked Singer' Stage After Elimination

Macy Gray made quite the exit during the UK version of The Masked Singer.

After the audience voted to save other artists, Gray, 57, who was Toad in the Hole in the show, performed against Bear. The judges ultimately chose to save Bear, sending Gray home — and leading her to walk off the stage.

Gray later returned in the Saturday, January 11, episode to unveil her identity and was interviewed by host Joel Dommett. After the episode aired, Dommett, 39, shared a clip of his conversation with Gray. “Lol,” he captioned his Instagram post.

Dommett went on to recall the events during an appearance on BBC Radio 2. “This is why The Masked Singer is so good, it doesn’t matter if you’re a good singer or if you’re not, the show doesn’t sit in either camp,” Dommett said during the Sunday, January 12, episode, per the Daily Mail. “The case with Macy is she is a legend, she has a recognisable voice and she might as well go because we all know it is her, and they put the other person through because we still don’t know who they are.”

Macy Gray Completely Transforms as Soon as She Hits the Stage: Photos

Dommett claimed that it’s a “win-win situation” if a contestant is eliminated early because they “get the same money and [they] don’t have to do anything else.”

“You can’t be vexed when you’re dressed as a toad. In my professional career — I love Macy, she is incredible, great voice —- but I have never witnessed anything more funny than a 6ft toad storming off,” he said. “It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Prior to Gray’s stint on the UK version of the series, she previously competed on the US show in 2023. During the season 10 finale, Gray — who was the Sea Queen — called herself a “seasoned performer” but noted that The Masked Singer was difficult due to her costume. “It’s hot in there!” she quipped.

The Grammy-winning vocalist previously told Us Weekly that she has struggled with her self-confidence. “I have to step out of myself,” Gray said in September 2023. “I literally put on a cape and transform into the person that is brave and confident enough to get up there.”

While Gray prepares for a show, she told Us she takes a moment to reflect and “transform into the person that is brave and confident” before hitting the stage. Gray gushed to Us that “nothing is better than performing.”

Former ‘Ellen’ Show Producer Weighs In on Allison Holker Backlash

Former producer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show Andy Lassner is weighing in on the controversy surrounding Allison Holker sharing personal details about late husband Stephen “tWitch” Boss in her upcoming memoir.

“Here’s the thing about addicts: we know each other. Whether we’ve got 10 days clean or 10 years, there’s this unspoken recognition. A vibe, a nod, a ‘yep, I see you.’ It’s instant,” Lassner, 58, began via his Instagram Story on Thursday, January 9. “tWitch never gave me that. At all. He carried light, joy, and kindness in a way that made people feel safe and seen. Every day his energy wasn’t the chaos of addiction — it was the calm that so many of us fight for.”

Lassner continued, “Obviously, as an addict, I know about keeping secrets and bulls—- the world about who we are. I’m not saying there weren’t maybe some things about his life I was completely missing. But if there were, he was as good at hiding them as anyone I’ve ever seen. Ever.”

Lassner noted that his heart has “never stopped hurting” for Boss’ family, including Holker, 36, and their three kids. (Boss and Holker, who wed in 2013, shared daughter Zaia, 5, and son Maddox, 8. He was the adoptive father of Holker’s eldest daughter, Wesley, 16.)

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ Mom Breaks Silence Amid Allison Holker Backlash

“I’m not here to weigh in on what is right or wrong, or what is true or not,” Lassner concluded. “But I am here to tell you that the man I knew for many years was an absolute king and I think he deserves to be remembered that way.”

Lassner’s statement came one day after Holker received backlash for revealing new and personal details about her late husband’s alleged drug addiction and childhood sexual abuse in her new book, memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light. (Boss died by suicide at age 40 in December 2022.)

Holker went on to release a statement explaining why she included those details in her book. “To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” Holker wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 8. “Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”

In her message, Holker said that she hoped readers would see she intended to “celebrate the love and life” she and Boss had with their family.

“I hope that by sharing our full story maybe I can help someone else who might see themselves or a loved one in Stephen,” Holker continued. “In sharing I hope that maybe they can catch some of the red flags that I missed before it’s too late.”

While writing the memoir, Holker claimed she spoke with several mental health nonprofits for the past two years to ensure she accurately detailed the subject. Holker added that she plans to give proceeds from the book to the foundation she created in Boss’ memory.

“My hope is that that we won’t need to lose another husband, brother, father, or friend to suicide,” she said. “I believe that if Stephen were able to choose, he would choose to have his story told if it meant saving even one life. Much love to all those who have supported our family these many years.”

One day later, Boss’ mom, Connie Boss Alexander, slammed Holker. “Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss,” Boss Alexander wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”

Boss Alexander said she had “remained quiet and away from the public eye to protect my family” for the last two years.

“My primary focus has been on healing and attempting to remain connected to my grandchildren,” she continued. “But when I read these dreadful claims about my baby, our beloved Stephen, I realized I could not stay silent any longer. Our family will ensure his name and memory are protected, and we are committed to defending his honor.”

In the comment section of the post, Lassner replied, “Sending you so much love.” Us Weekly reached out to Holker’s rep for comment at the time.

While season 3 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test began with 16 contestants, only some have what it takes to make it to the end of the competition.

In the reality show, which features celebrities trying their hand at tasks the real United States Special Forces must complete to become part of the military, contestants move forward by passing a series of tests — or they turn in their armband to signal their voluntary departure from the series.

While attempting assignments in Wales, England, Stephen Baldwin became the first season 3 contestant to exit the competition. The dad of Hailey Bieber successfully jumped from a speeding boat to a speeding helicopter and climbed into the helicopter — but claimed he got injured in the process.

“I smashed my meniscus on the helicopter today and my back is in knots and I can’t turn my head past there,” Baldwin said while talking with the on-duty doctor.

After Baldwin explained that he “cannot get injured” ahead of a gig he had lined up after the show, the Special Forces operatives dismissed him from the series. “No. 5, you failed this course and you failed yourself. Go,” the staff said.
