Kudrow, 61, told Drew Barrymore on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, that she “recently found” a note written to her by Perry while the pair were working on the final episode of Friends in 2004.
Perry, who died in October 2023 at the age of 54 after suffering acute effects of ketamine, had placed the note inside a cookie jar prop he had taken from the hit TV comedy series’ set. “Matthew gave that to me at the end of our last episode,” Kudrow told Barrymore, 49. “I had recently found the note that he had in it for me. I hadn’t opened it up or looked inside of it. But yeah, he did. He had a note in there and I forgot about it.”
Kudrow did not share what was written inside the note, but added that, “timing is everything.”
The cookie jar was a familiar prop on the Friends set, constructed to resemble a clock with the words, “Cookie Time,” written across it. Kudrow, who portrayed the eccentric Phoebe Buffay on the show, which began in September 1994 and spent ten years on TV screens, recalled a touching memory about the jar during her 2020 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“We were shooting a scene years before we finished,” Lisa told Kimmel, 57, on the talk show in May 2020. “My line was, ‘Ohhh, I’m late. I better get going,’ and it was too late when I realized I don’t have a watch. As the words were coming out I went, ‘Oh good there’s a clock,’ and I gestured to that [the cookie jar] and said, ‘Oh look at the time. I better get going.’”
Kudrow added that Perry, who portrayed the hilarious Chandler Bing, went up to her after her comment and said, “Did you point to the cookie jar and say, ‘Look at the time’?” to which both Kudrow and Perry laughed.
Perry’s death was ruled an accident two months after he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home. The actor was pronounced dead on October 28, 2023.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office released a toxicology report concluding that Perry died from ketamine effects, with drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine (used to treat opioid use) listed as contributing factors.
In a tribute to Perry posted via Instagram on November 15 that year, Kudrow wrote, “Thank you for making me laugh so hard at something you said, that my muscles ached, and tears poured down my face EVERY DAY. Thank you for your open heart in a six-way relationship that required compromise. And a lot of ‘talking.’ Thank you for showing up at work when you weren’t well and then, being completely brilliant.”
Spencer Pratt’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, revealed her brother and his wife, Heidi Montag, lost their Los Angeles home as the Pacific Palisades fire continues to ravage the Los Angeles area.
According to an Instagram post from Stephanie, Montag, 38, and Pratt, 41, lost their property as the blaze took hold of the star-studded area on Tuesday, January 7. (TMZ was first to report on the news with sources telling the outlet the “entire family was able to safely evacuate earlier in the day.”)
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives of the couple for comment.
In the late hours of Tuesday, Stephanie, 38, shared that she was devastated for her family. “Honestly looking for advice. I’m frozen in shock. How horrible for my sweet little nephews to watch their house disappear like this. They must be so scared and confused,” she captioned a photo of the fire. (Pratt married his Hills costar in November 2008 and the pair share two sons, Gunner, 6, and Ryker, 13 months.)
Stephanie, who also appeared on The Hills, posted an Instagram Story to expand on the news. “I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids,” Stephanie posted alongside a photo of Spencer watching the blaze. “Just spoke to my dad- he tried to save my brother’s house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Spencer took to social media to share footage of the raging fire via his Instagram Story capturing a light aircraft flying through the sky and dumping water over the affected region as thick black smoke launched off mountains in the background and foreground.
TMZ, meanwhile, shared a video of Spencer standing outside his home, his mobile phone in hand as he watched the fire devastate his neighborhood alongside a loved one. At one stage during the clip, Spencer was seen wiping his eyes as either smoke or a fleck of ash affected his sight.
The footage then captured the blaze itself as Spencer was seen pointing out to indicate how close the fire had reached.
The out-of-control wildfire, which has burned through more than 1,200 acres in Pacific Palisades which house many celebrity residents, sparked local evacuations earlier on Tuesday.
Casino actor James Woods shared footage of the natural disaster before he evacuated his own property, taking to X to post a video of his surroundings and captioning it, “Leaving.”

Guttenberg, 66, told KTLA in an interview filmed on the street, “I live right up the hill. I have friends up there right now, and they can’t evacuate because it’s stuck on Palisades Drive. There are families up there, there are pets up there, there are people who really need help.”
The fire also cancelled multiple scheduled events in the area including the premieres for Jennifer Lopez’s new filmUnstoppable, and Wolf Man starring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner.
Los Angeles saw a frightening natural weather event — and its star-studded community has been heavily impacted.
An extreme wind storm, caused by Santa Ana gusts, sparked fast-burning brush fires at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, with drivers along Sunset Boulevard and Palisades Drive abandoning their cars to seek safety, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Local areas were evacuated, including the celebrity haven of Pacific Palisades, located about 20 miles west of Downtown L.A., where A-list stars are renowned for their sprawling luxury homes.
Stars including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper, Reese Witherspoon, Adam Sandler, Michael Keaton, Miles Teller, Michael Mann, Ann Sarnoff, Alan Bergman, Kathleen Kennedy and Carol Lombardini all reside in the exclusive enclave.

Her primary school, every shop or restaurant we used to go to with my parents and Michael [Sheen]’s parents — and devastatingly, most of her friends’ homes. My heart is broken.”

We have evacuated, I believe our home is also gone — it was news I got from a stranger, which was a very surreal experience,” she told the news anchor. “But gosh, it was incredible on our way out, to see the people going in to help. And when I think about our neighborhood I think about fire station 69 and all of the firefighters that we knew; that held bake sales and toy drives … they’re as much a part of our neighborhood as anyone and I know what they’re having to do now must be extraordinarily difficult.”
Procter added that she is “grateful” her family was able to take “some clothes” and “a few necessary items” before they evacuated, but has quickly realized that people’s homes are “not structures” but are “actually microcosms of people’s lives.”

Sunny Hostin’s husband, Emmanuel “Manny” Hostin, has been named in an insurance fraud lawsuit filed in New York City.
According to legal documents obtained by the Daily Mail and viewed by Us Weekly on Tuesday, January 7, Emmanuel, who married The View cohost in 1998, is one of almost 200 defendants included in the lawsuit filed with the New York Eastern District Court on December 17, 2024.
Listed as “Emmanuel Hostin, M.D.,” the orthopedic surgeon, based at New York’s Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West Hospitals, per U.S. Health, is accused of federal insurance fraud and “getting kickbacks by performing surgery and … billing a company that insured taxi companies and Uber and Lyft drivers,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

The lawsuit reads, “Hostin knowingly provided fraudulent medical and other healthcare services including arthroscopic surgeries.” The documents also allege that insurance firm American Transit was then billed “in exchange for kickbacks and/or other compensation which were disguised as dividends or other cash distributions.”
Emmanuel addressed the allegations via his attorney Daniel John Thwaites, telling the outlet that his client “denies each and every allegation.” Thwaites added that the lawsuit is a “blanket, scattershot, meritless lawsuit by a near-bankrupt insurance carrier.”
Thwaites offered further, “It is meant to intimidate and harass doctors from collecting for care given to American Transit insureds and their passengers. American Transit has rushed into the lawsuit without ever conducting an examination of Dr. Hostin or expressing any concerns to his lawyers. The real story here is about an insurance carrier abusing the legal system to limit and restrict health care benefits to its insureds and their passengers, and write off its proper obligations.”
Emmanuel and Sunny, 56, reside in Purchase, New York, and share two children — a son, Gabe, who was born in 2002, and a daughter, Paloma, who was born in 2006.
Sunny, an attorney and multi-platform journalist who joined The View as a full-time cohost in 2016, has been candid about the various troubles her family has seen over the years. In January 2021, she revealed that Emmanuel’s parents both died from COVID-19 just weeks prior.
“Although I’ve chosen a very public career, as most of you know, those of you that know my husband, Manny, know that he is intensely private. But after speaking with him, he felt that from a public health standpoint it was very important for me to share that we are deeply saddened that Manny lost both of his parents over the holidays,” Sunny said on The View at the time.
Sunny added that her in-laws, Dr. Maria Jesus and Dr. A. Emmanuel, “were both physicians and they were both very careful” and “didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving with us because we all decided that it wasn’t safe. And after a lot of contact tracing, we still don’t know how they contracted this virus and this disease.”
According to the filing, American Transit is seeking at least $450 million in damages. An attorney for the company, William Natbony, told the Daily Mail, “‘No fault fraud is a huge problem in New York. American Transit filed a lawsuit as part of its statutory responsibility to fight such fraud.”
Eagle-eyed fans who looked beyond her sparkling ring on Sunday, January 5, took to social media to speculate over what appeared to be a small tattoo on the left side of her torso. Some claimed that the tattoo was of the letter T, serving as an ode to Zendaya’s boyfriend, Tom Holland.
One X user posted on Sunday, “Finding out that Zendaya has a tiny ‘t’ tattoo and an engagement ring was not on my golden globes bingo card … I’m so happy for my girl.” Other fans agreed that Zendaya, 28, did indeed seem to be branded with a lowercase T.
However, the mark also resembled an anchor, as noted by another X user who posted an anchor emoji and questioned the marking’s true meaning. “Isn’t it this tho,” the user wrote.
Us Weekly has reached out to Zendaya’s representative for comment regarding the engagement rumors.
The Challengers star, who met Holland while working on 2016’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, attended the awards ceremony on her own. She was nominated in the category of Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role as Tashi Duncan in Challengers but lost out to Demi Moore, who starred in The Substance.
Zendaya started the night wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown and Bulgari jewelry but changed into a white halter-neck dress once inside the ceremony. In a photo taken alongside The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri inside the event, the tattoo was no longer visible.
Zendaya and Holland kept their relationship a secret for several years, going public five years after they met when photos of the pair being affectionate in a car surfaced. After their relationship was confirmed, a source exclusively told Us at the time that the pair’s friendship played a pivotal role in taking their connection to the next level.
Zendaya and Holland have since shared sweet glimpses of their romance through the years. After being asked in February 2024 who from the Dune cast had the best “rizz,” Zendaya gave a sweet shout-out to Holland. “I don’t know. Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own,” Zendaya told BuzzFeed at the time. “I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but personally works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.”
As for the topic of tattoos, Zendaya stated in a 2020 interview with Allure that, “I love tattoos … but I don’t want any.”
For Holland’s part, the Marvel star is known to have a spider tattooed to his foot as a tribute to his ongoing role as Spider-Man.
According to Craig, Weisz had a very good reason for opting out of the Sunday, January 5, event, sharing details into her no-show with Extra on the red carpet.
When asked by Extra’s Adam Glassman whether Weisz, 54, was, “with you tonight,” Craig, 56, replied, “She’s not, no, she’s getting our little one back in school.” Craig and Weisz, who got married in 2011, share a daughter, Grace, 6.
Craig — who was nominated in the category of Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Drama but lost out to Adrien Brody for his work in The Brutalist — and Weisz are famously private when it comes to family life. (Craig is also father to daughter Ella, 32, whom he shares with ex-wife Fiona Loudon, and stepdad to Weisz’s son, Henry, whom she shares with ex Darren Aronofsky.)
In a rare comment in April 2023, Weisz shed light into the couple’s home life, telling Stephen Colbert during an episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, “Daniel and our daughter have been watching Star Wars.”
The Constant Gardener star added, “It was like a father-daughter, kind of, bonding experience, and they started on the original ones.” Weisz then revealed that the youngster “got obsessed” and began asking her mother to Google things like, “What does Darth Vader look like under his mask?”
“She wants to know everything,” Weisz explained. “She’s obsessed with the mythology and these characters are so real for her.”
Weisz added that her daughter had also watched Craig’s brief cameo in 2015’s The Force Awakens, which involved Craig depicting a stormtrooper whom Daisy Ridley’s Rey performs a Jedi mind trick upon.
As for Craig, the actor shared insight of his own in November 2024, telling The New York Times he chooses acting projects that allow him to be at home as much as possible. “I’ve got a 6-year-old at home,” Craig told the outlet. “And I don’t want to be away from home as much as I have been in the past.”
Craig’s candid comments coincided with the release of his interview on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast, recorded mid-November 2024, which delved into Craig’s thoughts on his sophomore James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Despite taking pride in the film’s “amazing stunt sequences,” Craig said he felt the movie “didn’t quite work” as a whole. “The storytelling wasn’t there,” he said at the time. “And that’s the abject lesson: going to start a movie without a script, it’s just not a good idea.”
RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Tyra Sanchez has been criticized for making a joke about the death of James Lee Williams, better known as The Vivienne.
The backlash was sparked when Tyra, formerly known as King Tyra and whose birth name was James Ross, took to X on Sunday, January 5, to respond to a 2020 tweet from The Vivienne that discussed Tyra, 36. Tyra’s joke was posted the same day that The Vivienne’s death was confirmed by their manager, Simon Jones, via Instagram.
The Vivienne’s 2020 tweet read, “Bet Tyra was fuming when she Realised Netflix Spoiled the win Too. Sorry gal. You Tried though,” to which Tyra replied on Sunday with, “Yet it doesn’t compare to the fumes of the crematorium.”
Fellow drag queen Kandy Muse, whose real name is Kevin Gabriel Candalario, responded to Tyra’s post, “I’ve defended you for years but now you can absolutely go f— yourself and if our path were to ever cross it’s absolutely on sight bitch, it’s not a threat it’s a promise. you disgusting person.”
Another X user commented, “You are disgusting … Shame on you,” and another wrote, “this was very twisted. As someone who used to admire you, this is so coldhearted and disappointing.”
The widespread criticism did nothing to dampen Tyra’s stance, however, as Tyra posted later that evening, “She’s dead. Rotting. Sending me all the hate in the world won’t bring her back. But you do as you must. Because of you the tweet has reached over 25k individuals. Thanks for the much needed attention that I oh so desperately needed.”
The Vivienne’s death shocked fans of the show who had followed the drag queen’s career path closely after they won the inaugural Drag Race UK series in 2019. Jones’ Instagram announcement on Sunday read, “It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams — The Vivienne, has passed this weekend. James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person. Their family are heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother and uncle.” The Vivienne was 32.
In a follow-up statement regarding The Vivienne’s death, also shared via Jones’ Instagram account, Jones shared a more personal reaction to the news, writing that The Vivienne was more than a client — they were a friend.
Kandy Muse, who was the runner-up on season 13 of Drag Race, shared their own tribute to The Vivienne via Instagram on Sunday. “you f—ing rockstar, you angel. I am in utter shock, devastated and absolutely heartbroken, one of the sweetest person I’ve ever gotten to meet and spend time with – you kept me up while I was at my lowest in life on tour with your bright energy and smile, I’ll miss you friend. rest easy you beauty. I love you @thevivienne_.”
Nelly Furtado has entered 2025 feeling sexier in her skin than ever before.
Furtado, 46, took to social media on Sunday, January 5, to share two makeup-free photos of herself rocking a neon orange bikini. The Instagram carousel started with a front-on, full-length shot of the singer and closed with a selfie of Furtado snapping her frame from the side.
The “Maneater” hitmaker paired her post with a lengthy message that reflected on her experiences throughout 2024. “This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way , while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self -love and genuine confidence from within,” Furtado began before recalling that she took “legal action against a few charlatans” who were allegedly “selling health and beauty myths about me.”
Furtado offered no further details into the legal action before shifting into the subject of her appearance and revealing some recent dental work. “For whoever cares, I have never had any face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides for veneers on the top row of my teeth, quite recently,” Furtado wrote. “So far, I have not had any face or lip injections or fillers of any kind.”
She then discussed some long-held beauty secrets, including an “old school facialist” Furtado began seeing when she was 20 and drinking “a lot of water” plus sleeping on her back to ensure she looks fresh on red carpets and while professionally photographed.
“Sometimes on the red carpet or at photo shoots my makeup artist uses face tape to give my eyes, skin and makeup more lift,” Furtado also revealed in the post. “Sometimes my stylist uses body tape to give a certain look to different silhouettes. Body makeup can also sometimes be contoured to achieve a certain look. Makeup can do magical things! So can great eyebrows! So can a great hairstylist!”
Furtado — who shares daughter Nevis Gahunia with ex Jasper Gahunia and another daughter and son (whose names haven’t been publicly revealed) with ex Gerard Damien Long — added that she is proud of the “spider veins” her body possesses. “They remind me of my mom and aunties and life so I think that’s why I haven’t parted with them so far .”
The musician concluded her candid post with an encouraging message to her fans. “Express yourself freely, celebrate your individuality and know that it’s perfectly OK to be OK with what you see in the mirror, and it’s also OK to want something different,” she wrote. “We are all cute little humans just bouncing around the earth looking for hugs.”
Lizzo is ready to tackle the new year with dialed-up confidence.
The “About Damn Time” singer, 36, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 5, to share two photos of herself dressed in a skimpy black bikini paired with a black shirt emblazoned with the words, “F— you.”
Lizzo captioned the carousel with a fierce mantra she’s committed to taking into this year. “2025 is the year of keeping the vibration on a higher frequency than what the world tries to lower it to,” she wrote. “Don’t subscribe to the bulls— just to make others feel comfortable live truthfully and don’t hold back— it’s your world!”
While the first photo in the series captured the singer gazing sultrily into the camera while sipping on a coconut, the second shot presented a close-up of the coconut, etched with the script, “Case G3 Lizzo,” as she kept her face hidden behind the tropical fruit.
Lizzo followed it up with another, more revealing bikini post on Tuesday, January 7, when she shared a video via Instagram of herself doing wood therapy while flaunting her body in a black string two-piece.
In the clip, she rubbed oil over her stomach before pressing wooden body massagers all over her physique.
“I’m proud of the ways you’re deciding to show up for yourself,” she captioned the clip. “I’m proud of the boundaries you’ve set. Amazing things will happen to you today. Now say that 3 times out loud.”
Her recent social media content cements Lizzo’s self-confidence era as she continues to show off her figure online after shutting down Ozempic accusations.
The social media post cements Lizzo’s self-confidence era as she continues to show off her figure online after shutting down Ozempic accusations.
During the early months of 2024, Lizzo’s weight loss journey was attributed by some online fans to GLP-1 drugs primarily prescribed for adults who struggle with obesity. The speculation ran rife despite Lizzo telling The New York Times during an interview published in April of last year that she had been, “methodical, losing weight very slowly.”
The online rumors led to Lizzo addressing them head on in September 2024. “When you finally get Ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote via social media at the time.
Lizzo stood up to the accusations just one month later by dressing up as Ozempic packaging for Halloween, revealing the costume via Instagram on October 26, 2024, and captioning it, “LizzOzempic dump.”
Lizzo’s epic shutdown was amplified by her choice to bedazzle the packaging with her name in capitalized block letters. Furthermore, a tape measure was fastened around her waist to indicate a slim-down, and she also carted around a fake slice of pizza as an accessory.
As for Lizzo’s January 5, 2024 post, fans were quick to show their support for the musician’s unwavering body confidence. One Instagram user wrote in the comments, “Now THIS is what protecting your peace looks like! Now tag the maker of that shirt please! ,” while another wrote, “STRONG, CONFIDENT and ENOUGH..”
One particularly supportive fan commented, “Weight loss doin its thang gurl keep it up! Proud of u!!!”
Taylor Swift’s almost-two-year Eras Tour run touched fans right around the world — including her longtime bass player Amos Heller.
Heller, 47, who joined Swift’s band in 2007, took to social media on Tuesday, December 10, to reflect on the highs and lows experienced throughout the tour.
Sharing a string of photos of himself and Swift, 34, performing at various locations, Heller captioned the Instagram carousel with a long and moving tribute as he detailed “the ride of a lifetime.”
Starting with some of the tour’s toughest demands, Heller wrote, “No more early lobby calls. No more airports. No more lugging a suitcase and Mono bag up an escalator, through a line, out of baggage claim. No more warming up, no more cooling down. No more looking at my watch 20 times to make sure I don’t miss a call. No more saying goodbye to my family, no more ‘how many sleeps now?’ No more jet lag.”
Heller’s tribute then moved into the challenges of traveling to far-flung corners of the globe as the Eras Tour, which delivered 152 shows across five continents after kicking off in March 2023, became the highest-grossing tour of all time.
“No more slipping into new languages, cultures, cuisines, accented pleasantries. No more snow in Tokyo, watch factories in Switzerland, museums in Sweden, bass shops in Australia, steaks in Rio, tattoos in Ireland, runs in Germany, flowers in Amsterdam,” Heller continued. “It’s done.”
The musician then moved into his most memorable highlights, including feeling like “a gladiator” while walking into any given stadium. “No more screaming lyrics with a perfect stranger who’s now your best friend. No more staring in awe at my family/friends who just moments ago were sharing a ridiculous joke, suddenly transformed into iconic titans, towering and thriving in the blinding lights,” he wrote. “No more being called upon to dig the deepest I can, requiring the very best I am capable of.”
Heller compared the tour’s final performance, staged in Vancouver on Sunday, December 8, to a “graduation” of sorts, before concluding his post with a message directed at Swift.
“You command so much respect and admiration from everyone who’s fortunate enough to add their effort to yours. Your blend of focus, heart, stamina and joy calls forth the best of everyone around you,” he wrote. “Thank you for trusting me with my part of your vision. It was the ride of a lifetime. I love you.”
Swift confirmed the final Eras Tour show on June 13, calling the experience, “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life,” at the time.
During the announcement, which took place during the tour’s 100th show in Liverpool, England, she added that the tour had overtaken “everything” before thanking fans for their support.
“You have done so much to be with us, right?” Swift gushed at the time. “You’ve made plans so far in advance, you planned what you were going to wear, you memorized lyrics, you got yourselves here, you figured out parking, you figured out transportation.”
She continued, “I want to spend the 100th show just thinking about that and living in this moment with you and being here with you. Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you put in to be with us … So, thank you.”
Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa has jokingly suggested that the man suspected of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson become his season 34 partner.
Sosa, 24, took to TikTok on Tuesday, December 10, to share a smiling photo of the suspect, Luigi Mangione, to highlight the pair’s physical similarities.
Captioning the clip, “he finna be my partner season 34 #dwts,” Sosa also filmed himself merging into the photo of Mangione, 26, before shaking his head in laughter as he absorbed the pair’s mirrored hair and facial features.
Mangione is suspected of shooting and killing Thompson outside an entrance to the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, December 4. After a five-day search, Mangione was arrested in Pennsylvania on Monday, December 9, while he was eating at McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
According to CNN, Mangione has been charged with murder and is facing four additional charges, including one count of forging a document and criminally possessing a firearm.
Sosa’s fans were quick to see the comedy in the professional dancer’s post, with one fan writing, “Honestly surprised Ryan Murphy hasn’t called you for the biopic yet. You were the first person I thought of LMAO,” and another commenting, “Ezra you need to enter the look alike contest.”
Sosa isn’t the only high-profile personality to have been rocked by the shooting. Social media influencer Caroline Callowayclaimed on Monday that she has her own connection to Mangione.
“OMG GUYS I LITERALLY F—ED THE UNITED HEALTHCARE CEO ASSASSIN,” Calloway, 33, wrote via X that day. In a subsequent tweet, she wrote, “Ok technically he was not an assassin when we f—ed. … That I know of. But still!!!!”
Sosa is no stranger to stirring up controversy via TikTok. Boasting more than 502,000 followers on the social media platform, Sosa recently used it to express his thoughts on debated DWTS rules.
When a social media user referenced Derek Hough and Shawn Johnson East’s season 15 performance via TikTok last month, questioning if it was fair that the duo lost points after breaking hold during a quickstep performance, Sosa replied with his thoughts.
“The rules have gotten looser and looser each year!” Sosa wrote in response to the post on November 17. “Back than [sic] it wasn’t OK but now it is.”
Sosa was partnered with Anna Delvey for season 33 of the hit reality TV series. Serving as the show’s newest pro, Sosa led the pair to finish in 12th place.
Taking to Instagram in the late hours of Tuesday, December 10, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson), posted the deepfake and captioned it, “I want to post this but I’m afraid I’m gonna get shot. LOL .”
The fabricated video, set to the track “Sound of Da Police” by rapper KRS-One, depicts Jay-Z, 55, and Diddy, also 55, attending a public event as police officers handcuff the pair and escort them out of the fictional room.
The pair are then falsely represented to be standing behind bars with champagne glasses in their hands.
50 Cent’s followers were quick to comment on the video post, with one fan writing, “ Whoever showed 50 how to use AI just opened up a whole new can of worms,” and another penning, “You can tell 50 has no skeletons in his closet the way he calls out everyone. Real one .”
The deepfake post comes after Jay-Z and Combs were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the early 2000s, via a civil lawsuit refiled on Sunday, December 8, by an anonymous woman. The alleged incident was said to have occurred at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. Both Jay-Z and Diddy have denied the accusations, while Diddy has also denied all allegations lodged against him since his September 16 arrest.
This is not the first time 50 Cent has mocked Jay-Z and Diddy’s recent legal troubles. After Jay-Z and wife Beyoncéattended the Mufasa premiere in Hollywood on Monday, December 9, with Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, and the pair’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 50 Cent shared photos from the outing via social media.
“Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL,” 50 Cent captioned a since-deleted Instagram post.
Earlier that day, 50 Cent also appeared to allude to the controversy via a post on his X account which referenced the Super Bowl, sharing a popular meme of himself driving away in a car. “Ok I don’t know what’s going on, but are we gonna still have the Super Bowl. ,” 50 Cent captioned the X post. “I’m just asking for a friend.”
While the frivolous jabs keep coming, 50 Cent also expressed genuine concern for Jay-Z’s legal issues in an interview with radio host Big Boy for the Monday episode of BigBoyTV.
Clarifying his X post, 50 Cent said he was curious as to what the allegations mean for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show, set to be headlined by Kendrick Lamar. “I’m asking for Kendrick. I’m just trying to figure if we’re still doing everything,” 50 Cent explained. (Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2020.)
50 Cent also predicted that the NFL may cut its partnership with Jay-Z altogether. “They will fall back … the NFL, they won’t necessarily be associated to that,” 50 Cent said in the interview.

TikTok personality and mommy influencer Hannah Hiatt is being investigated by police following reports made via Child Protective Services.
According to People, Hiatt, known online as “Nurse Hannah,” was the subject of “numerous reports through Child Protective Service and police,” after posting a video of her 2-year-old son, James, appearing to “flinch and hide his face while his dad walks toward him” via TikTok. Utah’s Ogden Police Department spoke with the outlet on Tuesday, December 10. (The since-deleted video was posted last month.)
The police department told the outlet that “there is an open, active investigation” into Hiatt, who first rose to fame after revealing the 17 dirty diapers she had lying around her house in October, and that “a detective [is] assigned to the case.”
Us Weekly has reached out to the Ogden’s Utah Police Department for comment.
The outlet noted that the investigation comes as a result of “a slew” of reports made to authorities after the video went live. Before it was removed, the TikTok attracted hundreds of comments detailing fans’ concern for the toddler.
A follow-up video posted by Hiatt on November 30 started with her addressing the attention her original video received. “The fact that I even have to address this right now is kind of insane,” the influencer said.
Hannah, who often posts about her “lazy husband,” Braxton Hiatt, and has attracted more than 437,000 TikTok followers as a result, continued, “If you were to know me in real life, this whole lazy husband thing, it’s satire.”
She then offered followers more detail into her husband’s personality, describing him as the “sweetest, nicest, kindest, most loving, most nurturing father in the entire world.”
“He [Braxton] is playing on the ground with James, like, 90% of the day,” Hannah added. “If that man is not laughing, having fun, teasing him, playing with him, whatever it is, then something’s wrong because those two have the strongest bond … that I know of anyone else.”
Hannah’s initial follow-up video sparked a second follow-up video, posted just one day later on December 1, which rejected fan comparisons to former social media influencer Ruby Franke, who was convicted of four counts of aggravated child abuse in February. “The fact that I’m even being compared right now to Ruby Franke is absolutely comical,” Hannah said in the second video. “It’s hilarious, really. We live in a world … where people will turn nothing into something.”
Comments were disabled on the two follow-up videos.
As for Hiatt’s October “17 diapers” video, the social media star told People at the time that she did not predict the post would resonate the way it did. “I just pulled out my phone and filmed a funny video. I didn’t think it was going to be controversial or honestly attract attention whatsoever.”

Kate Cassidy has returned to TikTok with an emotional tribute to her late boyfriend, Liam Payne.
Cassidy, 25, took to the social media platform on Sunday, December 8, to share a compilation video of time spent with the late One Direction star, who died at the age of 31 after falling from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony on October 16.
Captioning the post, “I love you,” the influencer began with footage of herself and Payne blowing kisses to the camera before sharing moments from various outings. The couple were also seen dancing together, arms wrapped around one another, in another touching moment.
Quiet moments were also spliced with a series of lighthearted memories, including footage of Payne, who traveled with Cassidy just two weeks prior to his death, dragging his amused girlfriend’s legs around a kitchen floor and bowling with her.
Editing together one and a half minutes’ worth of footage in total, Cassidy also included clips of Payne goofing around in front of the camera, lounging with her on the couch and sleeping beside her in bed.
The video was set to a 1993 track by Mazzy Star titled “Fade Into You.”
Cassidy’s return to TikTok comes after she was last seen appearing to contain her emotions while out walking in central London after Payne’s November 20 funeral. Dressed in a long coat and sweatpants, Cassidy was seen in photos obtained by the Daily Mail on November 29 as she visited a coffee shop and strolled with a coffee cup in her hand.
Cassidy, who was first linked to Payne in October 2022, was one of many famous faces in attendance at the funeral, including Payne’s former One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. Cheryl Cole, Payne’s ex who is the mother of Payne’s son Bear, 7, was also there, as were James Corden and Simon Cowell.
Us Weekly confirmed on October 16 that Payne died after falling from his third-story hotel balcony. Buenos Aires emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti announced that the singer suffered “serious injuries” that were untreatable by the time first responders arrived on the scene.
Payne’s friend Rogelio “Roger” Nores was among three people charged with abandonment leading to death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics in connection to Payne’s death last month. “I never abandoned Liam. I went to his hotel 3 times that day and left 40 minutes before this happened,” Nores told the Daily Mail in a November 7 statement. “There were over 15 people at the hotel lobby chatting and joking with him when I left. I could have never imagined something like this would happen.”
TMZ reported on Tuesday, December 3, that a judge is allowing Argentina national prosecutors to continue their investigation into Nores’ role in Payne’s death. Nores’ team, however, filed documents of their own stating that his case should instead be handled by Buenos Aires local prosecutors.

Gracie Abrams is just like the rest of us — not quite ready to say goodbye to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.
Abrams, 25, who served again as a guest performer during Swift’s final tour show at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, on Sunday, December 8, took to the stage with a piece of paper prior to her final performance.
Reading a heartfelt speech to the crowd, which was captured by a fan and posted via TikTok that evening, Abrams said she was “not ready for it to be over” before paying tribute to the profound effect Swift, 34, has had on her life.
“Like all of you, I [was] brought up with Taylor’s songs,” Abrams began. “Magically, needing a moment in my life that I didn’t think anyone else could understand or know or ached or yearned or loved or lost, and yet she did. How are we supposed to have the words for it? We don’t yet. But I do know that we have each other, thanks to Taylor, her music, her generosity, her curiosity, her wild and unparalleled pen, her superpower of seeing into our lives and creating soundtracks for every single formative moment we’ve had and that we will have.”
At one stage, Abrams, who performed a duet with Swift during the Saturday, December 7, show, became emotional, with her voice breaking. The musician, however, pushed on, telling the crowd that her night’s mission was clear.
“We are all here to remind her how deeply she’s touched us,” Abrams continued. “How much we appreciate every single tiny detail that she dreams up to delight us and to thank her, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us the time of our lives.”
Swift embarked on the Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, performing throughout the United States until August 2023. She then embarked on the international leg of her tour, dropping into South America, Asia, Australia and Europe between November 2023 and August.
In October, Swift returned to North America for a handful of final shows in the U.S. and Canada.
Abrams was a self-proclaimed Swiftie prior to forming a friendship with the pop star, telling Vanity Fair in a July 2023 profile that “every formative memory in my life is paired with a Taylor Swift song that helped me get through.”
Shortly before the pair met, Abrams got a call from an unknown number inviting her to Swift’s birthday party. She immediately called a mutual producer to confirm the digits belonged to Swift before replying in an effort to avoid getting her hopes up if it wasn’t her.
Swift then invited Abrams to be one of the opening acts on the Eras Tour.
“[It was] the best experience of my life,” Abrams gushed of the concerts during a December 2023 interview with Variety. “To have that become a part of my weekly routine for four months straight has bled into kind of all ways of my life, not just how joyful I feel internally, but the songs that we’ve been making.”
In June, Swift confirmed that the tour would come to an end in December, calling the venture “the most exhausting, all-encompassing, but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life.”
Brittany Mahomes has nailed her Chiefs game day ensemble once again.
Brittany, 29, who is pregnant with her third child with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, rocked a stylish coat while attending the Sunday, December 8, matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Posing for photos on the field prior to kickoff at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Brittany showed off a red patent leather statement piece slung over the top of blue jeans and a white turtleneck top.
Ensuring her look shined, Brittany, who already shares daughter, Sterling, 3, and son, Bronze, 2, with her athlete husband, pulled much of her hair back in a half-up, half-down ‘do while letting the front section frame her face.
Brittany reshared one of the photos, taken by Tavia Hunt, who is the wife of Chiefs CEO and chairman Clark Hunt, via her Instagram Story late that evening.
The spotlight-stealing look comes amid a string of eye-catching maternity wear choices, with Brittany most recently showing off a cheetah print one-piece via social media less than one week prior.
The look was captured by Brittany’s personal trainer, Kirsty Rae, who posted a video of Brittany working out. “We workin,” Brittany captioned a repost of the video via her own social media account.
Brittany’s game day outfit also follows her consistently on-theme style choices as she supports her husband throughout the current NFL season. Opting for a regular stream of red to mirror the Chiefs’ signature shade, Brittany has rocked everything from statement cowboy boots and handbags to a red patent leather suit.
As the Mahomes count down to the arrival of their third child, the pair, who married in March 2022, recently celebrated a family milestone — Bronze’s birthday.
Brittany and Patrick, also 29, hosted a Disney-themed birthday bash on November 30, one day after the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback narrowly led his team to victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. The party also featured references to golf, one of Patrick’s favorite pastimes.
“Happy Second Birthday to our boy!!! You bring so much love to this family,” Patrick and Brittany wrote via Instagram on November 28. “You are the most lovable, sweetest and funniest little guy all while bringing a whole new level of spunk! Bronze. you are so unbelievably loved by your mom, dad and sister!”
The pair announced in July that they were adding to their brood, announcing via Instagram at the time, “Round three, here we come.”
Jay-Z has referenced his wife, Beyoncé, and the pair’s three children within a statement denying allegations of rape lodged against him in a civil lawsuit.
Jay-Z, 55, was accused in the lawsuit that was refiled on Sunday, December 8, of allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The accuser, who has remained anonymous and was only identified as “Jane Doe,” claimed the assault occurred at an afterparty for the MTV Video Music Awards that year.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, responded to the lawsuit on Sunday with a lengthy, emotional statement. The statement, provided to Us Weekly, denied the allegations, saying that his “only heartbreak is for my family.” (Jay-Z has been married to Beyoncé, 43, since 2008, and the pair share three children, Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, both 8.)
“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” Jay-Z’s statement read. “I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.”
The statement also spoke to Jay-Z’s “strict codes and honor,” claiming that he strives to protect all children. Directing his response to Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee, who filed the lawsuit on Sunday after its initial filing in October which only included Diddy’s alleged involvement, Jay-Z wrote, “You seem to exploit people for personal gain. Only your network of conspiracy theorists, fake physics, will believe the idiotic claims you have levied against me that, if not for the seriousness surrounding harm to kids, would be laughable.”
Us has also reached out to representatives for Diddy, 55, for comment.
Jay-Z’s statement detailed how he was alerted to the lawsuit, labeling it a “blackmail attempt.”
“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle,” Jay-Z stated. “No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”
The “Hard Knock Life” hitmaker added that the allegations were “heinous” and noted that he had “done a bit of research” on Buzbee, who has filed lawsuits on behalf of several of Diddy’s alleged victims; he has previously claimed to be representing at least 120 of the disgraced mogul’s alleged victims.
“This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these type of theatrics!” Jay-Z wrote. “I have no idea how you have come to be such a deplorable human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over. I’m more than prepared to deal with your type. You claim to be a marine?! Marines are known for their valor, you have neither honor nor dignity.”
Jay-Z’s response to this lawsuit comes after last month when an unnamed male celebrity filed a lawsuit against Buzbee and his firm for “shamelessly attempting to extort exorbitant sums from him or else publicly file wildly false horrific allegations against him,” according to court documents obtained by CNN.
As for Diddy’s current legal troubles, he remains incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after his September 16 arrest on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. Diddy has denied all allegations lodged against him.
Valerie Bertinelli is feeling proud of her body and she wants the world to know it.
Bertinelli, 64, took to social media on Tuesday, December 3, to share a mirror selfie of her bikini-clad frame. Looking toned in a black and white bikini as she offered a slight smile at the camera, the Food Network alum snapped the Instagram shot right before attempting to color her roots.
“At some point I will talk about the madness my body has been through this year,” she captioned the candid image. “But right now every lump bump wrinkle and saggy part of me just feels acceptance and simple appreciation to be standing in front of a mirror in a hotel bathroom in downtown Manhattan ready to color my roots late on a Monday night.”
The post arrived just days after the celebrity chef shared via Instagram Stories that she had taken a fall and injured her knee. “I continue to have the knees of a 9 year old because I fall far too often than what is comfortable for someone my actual age,” Bertinelli captioned her Friday, November 29, post.
Bertinelli has documented many significant musings this past year as well as serious health updates including her struggles with anxiety.
On Sunday, November 17, Bertinelli uploaded a clip of her hand shaking, accompanying the video with a brave explanation. “So I don’t know if you can tell from this video (and my heart is still beating a little rapidly as I write this) I had a really bad anxiety attack today. I haven’t had one like this in a very, very long time,” she captioned the video. “A few hours ago, I was weeping uncontrollably, and my heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest. I couldn’t stop shaking.”
Bertinelli continued, “I want to share it because I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one out here who has experienced this. Gratefully these attacks have become much more infrequent, so this one took me a little bit by surprise today. This is the after effect. As I’m going through the actual attack (lol attack is such an appropriate word. My body and my mind feels like it’s actually under attack ).”
She added that her brain was “overthinking and catastrophizing” during these attacks, which makes her body go “into overdrive,” noting that she has “no control.”
Less than one month prior, Bertinelli also shared a dramatic injury on her arm, labeling herself a klutz in the photo’s Instagram caption. “I would ask for hazard pay, but it was my own damn fault,” she wrote to accompany the October 30 post. “I’ve been working on a really fun new project that I can’t wait to tell you about and this is what happens when you literally trip over the corner of a stage and fall on your ass in front of the crew. And the whole audience.”
Gunvalson, 62, followed up an interview for the Tuesday, December 3, episode of “The Viall Files,” hosted by Viall, 44, with candid thoughts on the former Bachelor star that she seemingly didn’t know were being recorded.
Filmed via video conferencing from the sandy shores of Mexico, Gunvalson ended her chat with, “OK, bye, bye,” and a wave before launching into some less-than-chirpy remarks.
“That was a favor to her dad,” Gunvalson was then immediately overheard telling her travel companion, boyfriend Michael Smith. “He’s got 7 million views.” It is unclear whose father the reality TV star was referring to. “He has his own network, his own show … I’ve never heard of him.”
The hot mic moment visibly amused Viall, who let the audio continue as he sipped from a reusable coffee cup. Smith then asked Gunvalson about Viall’s surname, and the RHOC star responded with a mispronunciation of Viall, which drew a smirk from Viall himself.
The couple moved onto the topic of their time in Mexico before podcast producers cut the line and the call finally ended.
Viall’s wife, Natalie Joy, guest starred as a cohost during the episode and couldn’t keep her own amusement contained throughout Gunvalson’s candid musings. “I just started sweating so incredibly bad. I’m not going to lie,” Joy, 26, said in the podcast studio. “She is an icon.”
Joy, who married Viall on April 27 after giving birth to the couple’s first child, a daughter named River, in February, continued, “I am not OK. That gave me really bad anxiety. I was waiting for her to clock back in and be like, ‘Oh my God!’”
Viall appeared somewhat more relaxed about hearing Gunvalson’s unfiltered remarks, although he did admit that there was, “No breath,” flowing through him after the hot mic surprise.
Gunvalson, who left RHOC in 2018’s season 13 but has returned as an occasional guest star, has never been one to hide her true feelings. Recently, during the November 7 episode of the “Jeff Lewis Live” show, she spoke about who she believes deserves to be cut from the current RHOC cast.
“I would definitely get rid of Tamra [Judge],” she said. “I think enough is enough with this throwing napkins and FBI hats and going to people’s junk. She knows I’ve felt that way. It’s not because I’m not on and she is, I just think enough is enough.”
Gunvalson also noted that “everybody” she speaks to thinks the show is “too much” with her former bestie Judge, 57, on board. “She’s always in people’s stuff but she doesn’t want anybody in her stuff,” Gunvalson explained.
