The Sassiest Baby Clothes That Make the Cutest Gifts

19 December 2024 at 15:19

It’s that time of year again — and no, we’re not talking about the holidays. At some point this December or even early January, someone that you know is bound to announce that in 2025, they’ll be welcoming a baby. While it’s exciting news for them, it does pose a new dilemma for you. What special something are you getting this friend or family member as a way to say congratulations?

Thankfully, Walmart has the answer, since the retailer sells a variety of sassy baby clothes that make the cutest gifts. You can hurry up and order these pieces now and surprise the parents-to-be with a tiny, adorable holiday present, or save your pick for the upcoming baby shower or birth. Either way, we’re rounding up our favorite silly onesies that will have everyone giggling. The only catch? They must send you a photo when the little one finally wears it!

7. Mommy’s Biggest Fan: Sure, they might be a bit young to appreciate Snoop Dogg’s lyrics (although it’s worth checking out the rapper’s Doggyland tunes!), but this twist on “Gin and Juice” will be much appreciated by a ’90s-kid-turned-mom — $11 at Walmart!

8. Funny But True: Their new little roommate will look extra cute in this itsy bitsty one-piece, which features the joke “I Still Live With My Parents” — $15 at Walmart!

The College Football Playoff Rankings Are In: Here’s What to Get Team Fans for the Holidays

12 December 2024 at 10:40

If you have a serious sports fan in your life, now’s the time to check in on them. The much-anticipated College Football Playoff rankings were officially released on Sunday, December 6, and the final 12-team bracket reveals which schools will face off against each other during the 2024-25 College Football Playoff season. While gearing up for some exciting games ahead, alumni and supporters alike might want to cheer on their team with, well, actual gear. And that’s where the holiday season comes into play.

Since this time of year is all about gifting, now’s the time to purchase the ultimate present for your college football fan: An easy-to-remove wall decal. Whether they’re rooting for the Oregon Ducks, Texas Longhorns, Ohio State Buckeyes or another team in the mix, we’ve found a fun pick that they’ll enjoy hanging up. However, don’t run out the clock on this one — the major holidays are just a few weeks away, so you’ll want to buy your gift ASAP.

27 Creative Gift Ideas for the Person Who Has Everything

For the Oregon Ducks Fan

If you’re worried about these yellow and green decals fading, you’re in luck: They were made to be both scratch- and fade-resistant, so fans can technically keep them up for years to come.

For the Arizona State Sun Devils Fan

Say hello to Sparky! That’s probably what your own little Sun Devil will say after they find the perfect spot to showcase their team’s trident-holding mascot.

For the Penn State Nittany Lions Fan

Got a Penn State alum in the family? They can finally show off their pride (wink, wink) with this lion decal.

For the Ohio State Buckeyes Fan

Now they can go nuts cheering on Ohio State next to Brutus Buckeye himself.

For the Tennessee Volunteers Fan

While subtle enough to be appreciated by those who aren’t into sports, Tennessee supporters will immediately understand what the “T” stands for.

For the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Fan

The good news is that these reusable vinyl wall decals come in multiple sizes, so whether your Notre Dame fan has a lot of wall space (like in a basement) or just a few inches (like in their cubical), there’s an option for them.

For the Georgia Bulldogs Fan

Sadly, there’s no “Go dawgs” in this mix of decals, but there are multiple graphics showing off the team’s tough pup mascot, Uga, which is even better.

For the Boise State Broncos Fan

Player Ashton Jeanty is currently a candidate for the Heisman trophy, so it’s possible your Boise State fan will want to place this pick somewhere that everyone can see it.

For the Texas Longhorns Fan

Sure, the team’s live mascot, Bevo, wasn’t at the SEC championship, but his likeness will be a welcome addition to any UT Austin home.

For the Clemson Tigers Fan

We’re sure the Clemson Tigers will put up a good “fight” in the playoffs, but the team’s fans won’t argue that this vinyl wall decal is their favorite gift of the season.

Gilmore Girls’ Lorelai Is Back and Her Cute Winter Coat Is Under $40

4 December 2024 at 14:08

Walmart clearly knows the way to our hearts — and it’s a combination of nostalgia and cute clothes. In its latest commercial, the retailer reunites a few iconic Gilmore Girls characters for a throwback-inspired scene. And while we definitely squealed at the sound of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) uttering the words “Coffee, coffee, coffee please!” we also found ourselves lusting over her winter-friendly ‘fit.

Our favorite TV mom was clearly bundled up to face the elements, but more importantly, she was wearing the cutest winter coat from Walmart (naturally). Surprisingly, the luxe-looking design isn’t as expensive as we assumed — in fact, it’s just $35, which is the ultimate steal if you ask Us.

Get the Time and Tru Bonded Faux Shearling Bomber Jacket for $35!

The Time and Tru Bonded Faux Shearling Bomber Jacket looks eerily similar to designer options that often cost upwards of $100. While at first glance you might think that the toasty layer is made of black leather with a beige shearling trim, this heavyweight piece is actually 100% polyester and machine washable (a major plus). What makes it extra trendy are the princess seams, which appear along the back and down the sleeves. Complete with the zipper and the cropped fit, they add a fun, eye-catching twist to such a classic design. We also love how the coat is size-inclusive — the range is XS to 3X, so everyone can achieve Star Hollow-approved style!

These Coats All Look Designer But Start at Just $17

Thankfully, the love for this coat goes beyond fiction, with actual Walmart customers leaving glowing reviews.

This faux leather jacket is very plush and cozy!” one person wrote. “I ordered a size small and it fits great! I would say it fits true to size. I am normally a small or medium and decided since the coat is bulkier a size small would be best! This jacket will be great to wear out and about for errands or could dress up for a date night out. This will be easily worn during the winter as it will keep you warm!”

“So cute. . . it feels like good quality!” another shared. “Pockets nice, oversized fit — can’t wait till the temperatures get cooler and I get to wear it.”

The good news is that Lorelai’s coat is still available in every size. . . but not for long. Now that the secret is out and this trendsetter is back on our screens (at least in a small way, for now!), this pick is sure to fly off the shelves, especially ahead of the holidays (we know a number of Gilmore Girls fans who would be thrilled to receive it as a gift!). Hurry and scoop one up ASAP, and if you’re really feeling the full look, add an ivory Time and True beanie and scarf set to your cart, too!

Lindsay Lohan Nailed Holiday Hair With This Cordless Curling Iron — And It’s 20% Off Right Now

2 December 2024 at 11:09

Welcome to the Lindsay Lohan-aissance, where the actress is back to taking over our screens — and inspiring our beauty looks. Thankfully, the Mean Girls star is open to spilling at least some of her secrets, including how she gets her hair holiday party-ready. In a new video posted to Instagram, Lohan is seen with her hairstylist, Danielle Priano, who is curling the 38-year-old’s hair with a cordless curling iron. Not only is the gadget easy to use and clearly celebrity-approved, it’s also on sale at Amazon for Cyber Monday!

The 20 Most Popular Products Us Weekly Readers Are Shopping During Cyber Week

Normally $80, the TYMO Curlgo Eco 2.0 has been discounted by 20%, costing Amazon shoppers just $64 for the exact version that Lohan has. Little effort is required to use this tool — as demonstrated in the Instagram Reel, it’s self-rotating, so all you need to do is press a button to start wrapping your hair around the wand. While that might feel a little risky to anyone who has ever gotten their hair stuck on a round brush (or worse), there’s no need to worry. The Curlgo Eco 2.0 has an anti-tangle feature, which detects tangles and quickly rotates the wand in the opposite direction, freeing your hair and preventing any serious mishaps.

Get the TYMO Curlgo Eco 2.0 for just $64 (originally $80) at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication but are subject to change.

Love Lindsay Lohan's Chic Trench Coat? The Look on Amazon for $60!

Although the main selling point is that this curling iron is completely portable, able to be unplugged and used on the go with 60 minutes of charge time (perfect for days when you’re in a rush!), that’s not its only impressive feature. The tool also heats up in 60 seconds, has three different temperature settings and automatically turns off after 10 minutes (so you won’t have to worry if you accidentally leave it on). Between the self-rotating aspect, the use of 200 million ions and a tourmaline ceramic-coated wand, the brand promises that you’ll be able to achieve bouncy, shiny, frizz-free curls in just 10 minutes. We honestly wish Ms. Lohan told us about this sooner!

Still, a deal this good won’t last long. Cyber Week is already ending, and we’re sure this pick will be flying off the shelves now that the secret is out. Snag one while you can, then follow Lohan’s lead by nailing soft, flawless waves for your next seasonal gathering. You might even feel tempted to take your new purchase to the couch and get glammed up as you watch her latest Netflix film, Our Little Secret!

Get the TYMO Curlgo Eco 2.0 for just $64 (originally $80) at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication but are subject to change.

14 Gifts From Walmart That Look Way More Expensive Than They Actually Are

28 November 2024 at 17:30

I tend to take gift-giving seriously. Each holiday season, I carefully plan out what I want to get my loved ones (stuff I’ve heard them mention, items that tie into their interests and hobbies, etc.), but usually, I’ll end up going way over my budget. This year, however, I’m sticking to a plan. I’ve been searching for the top deals and shopping at Walmart, buying gifts that look expensive but are still under a certain price point.

14 Walmart Black Friday Deals Most At Risk of Selling Out

Walmart sells plenty of expensive-looking items that I know my family and friends will enjoy. Personally, I’m all about the retailer’s fashion section (half of my luxe-looking wardrobe is actually from Walmart!), but I also know the store sells coveted beauty sets, dreamy home décor and must-have appliances that anyone would be excited to open.

If you’re like me and trying to keep your gifts budget-friendly this year, here are a few picks that look like a million bucks, but are surprisingly affordable!

Hurry — The Viral Drew Barrymore Chair Is $100 Off Before Black Friday

1. Free Assembly Welt Pocket Cardigan: If you’re searching for something for a fashionista, add this cardigan to cart. It’s simple yet trendy, available in multiple colors and comes in sizes XS to XXL. Plus, it really does have a luxury connection — the creative director for Free Assembly is designer Brandon Maxwell! — $25 (originally $28) at Walmart!

2. Michael Kors Chain Crossbody Bag: A real designer bag for less than $65? Where else but Walmart are you going to find that kind of deal? This crossbody design will no doubt become their go-to since it’s easy to throw on and wear every day — $60 (originally $398) at Walmart!

3. JLab Noise Cancellation Headphones: Whether the person you’re gifting loves listening to music or audiobooks, or is simply someone who works from home and could use quiet time, these noise-canceling over-ear headphones will be much appreciated — $29 (originally $80) at Walmart!

4. No Boundaries Women’s Cozy Double Buckle Sandals: These fuzzy slides work for both warmer and cooler weather (the ideal transitional shoe!) and can easily replace indoor slippers. Give them to the comfy-cozy-lover in your life. They’ll never even know you paid less than $10! — $8 (originally $25) at Walmart!

5. Thyme & Table 32-Piece Non-Stick Cookware & Bakeware Set: Multiple pans, baking sheets, utensils, measuring cups. . . Thyme & Table’s non-stick ceramic set really has it all. Newlyweds, new homeowners or someone who is just getting into cooking will appreciate opening it up — $87 (originally $198) at Walmart!

6. Costway 4-in-A Row Giant Game Set: Sometimes these big toys can be pretty pricey, so it was a surprise to find a jumbo game for just $60. It’s fun for the whole family or a person who enjoys entertaining, and since it’s easy to assemble, you might find yourself playing a round or two in the near future — $60 (originally $149) at Walmart!

12 Holiday Gifts from Zappos Everyone Will Be Fighting Over This Year

7. U.S. Polo Assn. Men’s Varsity Bomber Puffer Jacket: It’s almost impossible to find a men’s coat for less than $30, let alone one that looks like it’s straight off the runway. This trendy pick goes up to size 3x and if you’re debating buying it, don’t wait too long — the blue colorway is already sold out! — $20 (originally $42) at Walmart!

8. Lazy Buddy Steel Fire Pits for Outside: If you assumed firepits were super expensive, well, same. But toasty nights outside can be yours — err, theirs (with them extending an invite to you) — for less than $70 —  $67 (originally $183) at Walmart!

9. OPI Nail Lacquer: This themed nail polish set will be appreciated by Wicked fans, but someone who loves a mani-pedi will also be thrilled to see so many colors. Considering one bottle of polish costs around $10, a 12-pack for this price is really a steal — $24 (originally $50) at Walmart!

10. JeenMata White Flower Pendant Necklace: Chic and simple, this pendant design will add just enough flair to any outfit. There’s also a similar design from Van Cleef & Arpels that costs close to $4,000, which is probably why this pick is a bestseller — $16 (originally $79) at Walmart!

11. Vavsea Cocktail Shaker Set: If you’re shopping for a Secret Santa or someone hard to buy for, get them this luxe bartender kit along with a small bottle of something they like to drink. Easy peasy! — $26 (originally $90) at Walmart!

12. Made by Me Easy-to-Knot Quilt Making Kit: Know a kid who loves a craft? This quilting kit, which is packed with materials, will keep them busy — no sewing required! It’s best suited for those six and up and reviewers note that it’s the perfect distraction for long car rides and trips — $10 (originally $25) at Walmart!

14. Better Homes & Gardens Candle: For the most part, candles are a no-fail gift and can be given to a variety of different people (especially coworkers and acquaintances). Not only is this a reputable brand, you can choose between multiple scents, and with a price this low, you may want to stock up — $5 (originally $10) at Walmart

The 13 Best Black Friday Deals to Shop at Wayfair — Up to 82% Off!

28 November 2024 at 07:50

Of course, we’ve been waiting until Black Friday to stock up on essentials (we could use some new toothbrushes and recently ran out of makeup remover). But if you ask Us, the retail holiday is meant for something more — and we’re not even talking about presents. Now is the time to buy those big-ticket items at a discount, and if you’ve been contemplating replacing your couch or getting a new bed frame, Wayfair should be your first stop. While the home goods site is always one we turn to for reasonably priced items, Wayfair’s Black Friday sale is impressive. Some pieces are marked down up to 82% off, a discount that’s kind of unheard of in 2024.

Hurry — The Viral Drew Barrymore Chair Is $100 Off Before Black Friday

Of course, you don’t want to wait too long to fill your cart. While Wayfair plans to keep the deals going through December 21, the good stuff is bound to sell out quickly. To spark some inspiration for what to buy, we’ve rounded up 13 pieces of furniture and decor items we think are well worth it. Looks like your home will be even cuter come 2025!

1. Marilee Wood and Black Metal Frame Bed with Headboard: If we spotted this modern-looking bedframe in a celebrity’s home, we’d assume it costs thousands. Luckily for you, it’s less than $200 for the queen size — $170 (originally $792) at Wayfair

2. Raulin 28” Linen Upholstered Accent Chair: Two is better than one — especially in the case of these swivel accent chairs. Now, your living room (or bedroom or basement) will look chicer and feel cozier than ever — $410 (originally $750) at Wayfair!

3. Wayfair Basics® 1800 Series Sheet Set: We’re pretty picky about our sheets, but for less than $25, you’ll have a fresh set that not only has a near-5-star rating but also comes in a variety of colors. We may just buy a few! — $21 (originally $44) at Wayfair!

4. Worton 5 Geometric Chandelier: If the light fixtures in your home are begging for an upgrade, this geometric chandelier should do the trick. It’s artsy yet vintage-inspired (thanks to that candle design), and even better, there’s nothing blocking the bulbs, so you’ll actually be able to see — $160 (originally $529) at Wayfair!

5. Torron Lift Top Coffee Table: Those of us who live in small spaces need items that serve more than one purpose. While this is technically a coffee table, the top expands to reveal storage. . . and more. It also transforms into two computer tables and a dining room table that seats up to eight people. Talk about a bang for your buck! — $150 (originally $500) at Wayfair!

6. Allyannah 5 Drawer 31.5” W Dresser: If you’ve been living out of fabric drawers, now is your chance to retire them. This dresser is sleek and simple, plus offers plenty of space for your belongings. Reviewers add that it’s easy to assemble, too, which is the ultimate win — $160 (originally $586) at Wayfair!

7. Avrilynn 120” Upholstered Sofa: Sure, there are cheaper couches on Wayfair, but trust Us — you don’t want to skimp on this piece of furniture. This plush, mid-sized pick is both comfy and perfect for a couple or small family, and you’ll love lounging with your legs up on the footstool — $590 (originally $800) at Wayfair

5 Holiday Decor Finds That Are 50% Off or More at Amazon

Hurry — The Viral Drew Barrymore Chair Is $100 Off Before Black Friday

23 November 2024 at 12:11

Every so often, while wasting time on social media, I’ll spot the same viral piece of furniture I’ve been coveting for years: the Drew Chair from Drew Barrymore’s Beautiful line. With a nearly 5-star rating and thousands of reviews on Walmart’s site, it’s constantly selling out — and, of course, I’m always too late to score one for myself. That’s why I’m rushing to buy this chair now, while it’s $100 off as part of Walmart’s Black Friday sale. Between its popularity and the great price, I know it will be gone within a matter of minutes.

What I love most about this particular pick is that it looks way more expensive than its price tag. It’s well cushioned, has a sleek, rounded shape, and the fabric is soft, sturdy and stain-treated (perfect for a frequent spiller like me). I’ve actually reached out to touch the display at my local Walmart (more than once, TBH) and was truly impressed by how luxe and high-end it felt.

At the same time, the chair is also practical. The seating area is pretty large, and the swivel base turns a full 360 degrees, allowing you to easily move around and grab things without getting up. While it’s plush, it’s also supportive, and the addition of three (three!) throw pillows will ensure your back isn’t aching after sitting around for a few hours.

Thankfully, the Drew Chair is more than just good looks — according to reviews, it really lives up to the hype (which explains why people are always rushing to buy it).

“I have been eyeing up the Pottery Barn round swivel chair for two years, but the price is ridiculous,” one person said, referencing a much pricier lookalike. “This Walmart chair is amazing. I recently visited the Pottery Barn store in KOP and sat in their chair to compare. Honestly, this Walmart chair is more comfortable. Very happy with our purchase.”

Other customers noted that the “assembly was easy” and said they ended up buying more than one to decorate their living space.

“These chairs are incredible,” someone wrote. “I bought four after just seeing one! Everyone is surprised these are Walmart! They are very high quality and comfortable. Perfect for my sunroom!”

While the Drew Chair comes in multiple colorways, it’s the versatile charcoal that’s heavily discounted (good news for me, since I have pets who love eating and chilling on soft surfaces). But, like always, the deal won’t last. You’ll want to hurry and add one to cart before Walmart’s Black Friday sale is over — or this piece sells out, which is probably what will happen first. Mine has already been purchased!
