Isaiah “Zae” Frederich’s time in the Big Brother house was short but memorable thanks to his beef with Rachel Reilly.

“I honestly don’t feel like I was heated at all. I was pretty levelheaded. Like, I think she was trying to get me to get heated,” the salesman, 23, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, July 18, about his argument with Rachel, 40, before being evicted from the house. “I was just kind of confused. If anything, I was like, ‘Why is she still coming after me?’ Like, she couldn’t just drop it. She wouldn’t have a normal one-on-one conversation with me, like an adult.”

Zae added that once he and Rachel were able to talk, the former winner seemed uninterested in conversing with him.

“We finally did sit down one-on-one. She kept on saying, ‘I’m bored, I’m bored, I’m bored. I don’t wanna talk about this.’ And then I told her, ‘OK, I’m not holding you hostage. You can go if you’d like.’”

Zae shared that from his perspective, it was a “very strange interaction.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever had a conversation like that with an adult that went like that, that was that immature of an interaction,” he quipped.

During the Thursday, July 17, episode, Zae exchanged words with Rachel after she felt like he planned on targeting her if he stayed in the game.

“At first, she wasn’t my target and she was trying to beat me to say that she was my target. And I kept on saying, ‘No, if I win HOH I’ll put three people up that voted to evict me from the house,’” he explained. “Because it makes the most sense for my game, because it puts the least blood on my hands. She was saying, ‘So you’re targeting me?’ And I was like, ‘I did not say that.’ So she kind of took it that way.”

However, Zae’s intention changed once they had their blowup.

“After we had that interaction, … I was like, you know what? I am targeting Rachel. I will put her up,” he said, “Then at that point, my strategy was, I wanna make her a bigger target than I am. Because people are scared to take shots at her. I wanna be the guy that’s willing to take a shot at her.”

Rachel was not the only one on Zae’s list, as he had plans to go after the other women in the house since he was in an alliance with all men. However, he claimed that Rachel portrayed it as a “boys vs. girls thing.”

“I had multiple of the girls tell me they’re scared to not line up with the girls because they don’t wanna be on the outs with the girls,” he said of his thought process of his potential targets. “There were more girls than guys in the house. And so that’s just kind of how it went down.”

While Zae planned on nominating all women if given the chance, he explained that his thought process was purely strategic and not personal.

“I mentioned at one point that if I won, I would put up three women just because it was kind of divided and [the guys] didn’t have the numbers. I [thought] it was gonna be divided. In addition to his feud with Rachel, Zae made headlines for using an ableist slur on the live feeds. However, he backtracked his remark right away after remembering that he was being recorded 24/7.

“[It was] very different and honestly kind of felt like I wasn’t on camera,” Zae said of his experience being constantly recorded. “It was very weird to be in the house, mic’d up, like, you kind of just forget you are.”

Astronomer Launched an Investigation After Kiss Cam Drama

While neither Byron nor Cabot have spoken out about the incident yet — despite a fake statement circulating on Thursday that appeared to be from Byron — Astronomer has launched an investigation.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” the company shared in a statement via LinkedIn on Friday. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

Byron and Cabot, for their part, appear to have deactivated their respective LinkedIn accounts. His wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, seemingly deactivated her Facebook account as well after social media users found it and began spamming her comments.

90 Day Fiancé star Leida Margaretha denied all allegations of wrongdoing related to her newborn daughter’s death, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

Margaretha’s attorney, Taylor Hart, spoke to Us on Friday, July 18, following her arrest over issues with bond in an unrelated criminal case. Margaretha, 36, and ex Eric Rosenbrook’s baby Alisa Rosenbrook, died on July 8.

Hart told Us, “Sadly, on July 8, 2025, Alisa Rosenbrook (daughter of Eric and Leida) was removed from life support and passed away. Over the past two years, Leida and her husband tried desperately for a child.”

He continued, “They tried, and hoped, and prayed, but they unfortunately suffered many setbacks including multiple miscarriages. The loss of Alisa is a tragedy. Eric and Leida are both actively grieving and they ask for your privacy, sympathy and understanding during this difficult time.”

Jason Priestley got an unexpected shout-out on Bachelor in Paradise this week — and he too was surprised to learn how fast the ancient texts are disappearing.

“We’re gonna shine our cameras on anybody,” Bryan, 49, said in fan footage. “Who’s here with their secretary tonight? Hey, it’s gotta be someone way up there.”

As the venue panned its cameras to various audience members, Bryan continued to have some fun with the internet’s latest obsession.

After the concert footage quickly went viral on social media, the internet discovered the pair put on the big screen were Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot.

In an added twist, Byron is reportedly married — to a woman multiple outlets identified as Megan Kerrigan Byron — not Cabot.

On Friday, July 18, Astronomer — a tech company that aims to empower data teams to bring mission-critical software, analytics and AI to life — announced they are conducting a “formal investigation” into the matter.

YouTube star Kate Albrecht ended up in a coma two weeks after she and husband Joey Zehr welcomed their second baby.

The couple, who are famously the faces of the Mr. Kate DIY YouTube channel, recalled their experience nearly two months after their daughter Mars was born.

“I was so tired and so sore. I felt like, ‘Wait, this is supposed to be easier. I’m supposed to recover from a natural childbirth easier than a surgery,’ but I was bedridden,” Albrecht, 42, told People in an interview published on Friday, July 18, noting that she started getting intense migraines.

Albrecht recalled being at home with a family friend, who put her to bed — but she has no further memories of the day her illness worsened.

“I walk into the room, and Kate’s lying in bed with blood coming out of her mouth and clearly unconscious,” Zehr, 43, recalled. “So, I immediately jump on the bed and yell at her, and she won’t wake up.”

He added, “Then Kate started having seizures in the room, which was terrible to watch.”

Zehr said he was “f***ing freaking out,” especially after Albrecht was put into a medically induced coma. She was woken up the next morning after several tests had been run.

Albrecht was ultimately diagnosed with eclampsia, which are “seizures that occur in pregnant women with preeclampsia,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.

“But I think the craziest thing about it all is that I think most people in pregnancy don’t necessarily know about … we were so prepared,” Zehr continued. “We knew so much information. Yet, we had no idea that two weeks after giving birth, we should be watching for preeclampsia, eclampsia.”

Albrecht noted that she had “checked out fine” throughout her entire pregnancy when undergoing tests.

“In hindsight, during those two weeks knowing that she had some headaches, she probably was developing preeclampsia, but we didn’t really know to be watching,” Zehr explained. “We were prepared for everything except the one [thing] that happened.”

Aside from Mars, who was born on May 22, the internet stars are also parents to 6-year-old son Moon. Albrecht and Zehr have been married since 2013.

“When I first came home, I was just exhausted and lying around with my newborn, enjoying some sunshine and stuff,” Albrecht told People. “Then I’ve just been feeling better each day, feeling stronger each day, really comforted by the fact that this is known to be a one-time occurrence, and it’s caused by the blood pressure.”

The Writers Guild of America isn’t just questioning the timing of CBS canceling Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show — they are calling for an investigation and accusing the network of trying to “curry favor” with President Donald Trump.

“On July 2nd, Paramount agreed to settle a baseless lawsuit brought against 60 Minutes and CBS News by President Trump for $16 million,” read a Friday, July 18, statement from the labor union. “On July 15, during a regular show of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Colbert went on-air and called the settlement a ‘big fat bribe’ in exchange for a favorable decision on the proposed merger between Paramount and Skydance, a charge currently under investigation in California.”

WGA pointed out that The Late Show’s final season was announced “less than 48 hours later,” adding, “Paramount canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a show currently performing first in its timeslot, giving vague references to the program’s ‘financial performance’ as the only explanation. For ten years, the show has been one of the most successful, beloved and profitable programs on CBS, entertaining an audience of millions on late night television, on streaming services and across social media.”

The statement noted WGA’s “significant concerns” about the cancellation.

“Given Paramount’s recent capitulation to President Trump in the CBS News lawsuit, the Writers Guild of America has significant concerns that The Late Show’s cancelation is a bribe, sacrificing free speech to curry favor with the Trump Administration as the company looks for merger approval,” they continued. “Cancelations are part of the business, but a corporation terminating a show in bad faith due to explicit or implicit political pressure is dangerous and unacceptable in a democratic society.”

WGA went on to call for an investigation, writing, “Paramount’s decision comes against a backdrop of relentless attacks on a free press by President Trump, through lawsuits against CBS and ABC, threatened litigation of media organizations with critical coverage, and the unconscionable defunding of PBS and NPR. The Writers Guild of America calls on New York State Attorney General Letitia James, no stranger to prosecuting Trump for illegal business practices, to join California and launch an investigation into potential wrongdoing at Paramount.”

The statement concluded: “We call on our elected leaders to hold those responsible to account, to demand answers about why this beloved program was canceled and to assure the public that Colbert and his writers were not censored due to their views or the whims of the President. In the meantime, the Writers Guild of America will support our members at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and across the late-night industry as they speak truth to power and we will explore all potential legal and political avenues to fight for our members in the aftermath of this decision.”

On Thursday, July 17, CBS executives released a statement about The Late Show’s fate.

“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end its historic run in May 2026 at the end of the broadcast season. We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise at that time,” their statement read. “We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television.”

The network revealed that it was a “financial” decision that was not “related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”

The statement acknowledged that The Late Night “has been #1 in late night for nine straight seasons, adding, “Stephen’s comedy resonates daily across digital and social media; and the broadcast is a staple of the nation’s zeitgeist.”

Late Night Hosts React After Stephen Colbert's 'The Late Show' Is Canceled

Amid backlash over the decision, Colbert’s recent comment about Paramount, CBS’s parent company, settling what he called “a nuisance lawsuit” brought by Trump, 79, has resurfaced. In his lawsuit, Trump alleged that 60 Minutes had unfairly edited an interview of Kamala Harris.

“I absolutely love that Colbert got fired,” Trump posted to his Truth Social platform on Friday. “His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!”

While CBS has not yet publicly addressed WGA’s statement, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren weighed in on the sudden cancellation.

“CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump — a deal that looks like bribery,” Warren claimed on X. “America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.”

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders also shared his concerns, writing via X, “CBS’s billionaire owners pay Trump $16 million to settle a bogus lawsuit while trying to sell the network to Skydance. Stephen Colbert, an extraordinary talent and the most popular late night host, slams the deal. Days later, he’s fired. Do I think this is a coincidence? NO.”

Hewitt concluded that 9-1-1 marks the first time since her Party of Five days (which ran from 1995 to 1999) that the audience is more excited about her performance than her appearance.

‘The Lost Husband’ (2020)

If zombies aren’t your thing, here’s a movie that deals with something scarier — love. In The Lost Husband, The White Lotus’ Leslie Bibb stars as Libby, a single mother with two young children and nowhere to go. She ends up at her Aunt Jean’s (Nora Dunn) Texas farm, where she begrudgingly learns how to manage it.

Her teacher is James O’ Connor (Josh Duhamel), a gruff farm manager who isn’t thrilled about showing a newbie the ropes. Would it surprise you to know that Libby and James start to develop feelings for each other? And that a secret from James’ past threatens to end their burgeoning feelings for one another?

The Lost Husband’s plot is straight out of a Hallmark movie, but what makes it better than your average cable movie weepie is Bibb, who shows real dramatic range as the world-weary Libby, and Duhamel, who radiates matinee idol charisma. The movie has a good feel for its central Texas setting and has a third-act reveal that you won’t see coming.

With his last words, the man tells Ben that a statesman will be assassinated in London. Ben doesn’t believe him until Hank is kidnapped. He won’t be harmed as long as Ben doesn’t say anything about the dying man’s warning. Will Ben remain silent and let an innocent man die in the hope his son will be returned to him alive?

Astronomer is conducting a “formal investigation” after CEO Andy Byron was involved in a kiss cam scandal with colleague Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” a Friday, July 18, statement shared via LinkedIn reads. “Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

The tech company further noted that Byron, who has been the firm’s CEO since 2023, has not “put out any statement” despite widespread speculation.

Byron and Cabot attended Coldplay’s concert in Massachusetts on Wednesday, July 16, where they were seen cuddling on a jumbotron. They tried to hide when they realized the cameras were on them.

As Byron and Cabot’s kiss cam scandal dominated social media, rumors also surfaced that the pair attended the Coldplay concert with another colleague, which Astronomer denied in its Friday statement.

“Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event, and no other employees were in the video,” the statement added, mentioning Cabot’s coworker in the People department.

Both Cabot and Stoddard have worked for the tech company since 2024.

“Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory,” Andy — who is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron — previously said of Cabot in a November 2024 press release. “She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”

The Hunting Wives, which premieres on Monday, July 21, follows Sophie (Snow) who “moves to a deep East Texas town with her family and becomes drawn” to a prominent socialite a.k.a Åkerman’s Margo.

“That was the role that I was offered. What that says about me, I don’t know. I’d read all eight episodes and loved it and I was the first person to get cast on this show. They just said, ‘We can’t see anyone else but you in this role.’ But they were so gracious and so wonderful and it definitely is a dynamic role,” Åkerman teased. “It has many layers and it is all the juicy stuff that you want in a role.”

She continued: “I was privy to all eight episodes, which is really helpful. Because a lot of times when you are on the journey of getting a TV show made you usually just get the pilot episode. That doesn’t give you the character arc and it doesn’t give you the real detail into who this person is that you’re going to be playing.”

Åkerman noted that Margo’s journey will be “really vast and wide and wild,” adding, “I really wanted to play her because she’s so different from how I operate in my own life. I love diverting the code. I love when you see actors in a very different role than you’re used to them in. For me, that’s really wonderful to watch.”

While previewing the show, Åkerman hinted what is to come between Margo and Sophie.

“Margo is just surprised by her own feelings. They have very different approaches to the relationship that they’re building and it ends up going in many different directions that we couldn’t ever imagine. “Answered a couple questions today priviately [sic], figure I should post it here as well since I can’t respond to everyone individually,” Walker wrote via X on Friday, July 18. “I’ve found Andy to be professional, I’ve only ever been on a call with him once.”

Walker, who left the tech firm in 2022, added that those he’s spoken to on the Astronomer staff largely approve of Byron’s leadership.

“Everyone on the team has praised his leadership to me. So I think this is an unfortunate development that comes as a big surprise,” he clarified.

Since the footage went viral, several fake public apologies attributed to Byron have circulated via social media. Astronomer broke its silence on the controversy to confirm a widely-circulated apology was “not a real statement” from Byron.

In the fake message, the CEO was purported to have shifted the blame on Coldplay: “I also want to express how troubling it is that what should have been a private moment became public without my consent.”

The fake statement went on to quote Coldplay’s song “Fix You,” continuing: “I respect artists and entertainers, but I hope we can all think more deeply about the impact of turning someone else’s life into a spectacle … As a friend once sang: ‘Lights will guide you home, and ignite your bones, and I will try to fix you.’”

The fan who originally shot the viral footage — a woman identified as Grace — told The Sun on Friday that she had “no idea” who Byron and Cabot were when she posted the video.

“[I] just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it,” Grace acknowledged. “A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games … win stupid prizes.”

Grace expressed her hope that Byron and Cabot’s partners will “heal from this” viral moment and ultimately consider her clip a “blessing in disguise.”

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders star Reece Weaver was “really proud of the outcome” after fighting for more money, she told Us Weekly exclusively at the Netflix Summer Break event hosted at Santa Monica Pier on Thursday, July 17.

“I know a lot of people really led that, but we all supported it. We all just wanted to not only do this for our team, but for all the women that came before us and … for just women in general,” Reece, 23, told Us. “It was just a blessing to be a part of and we’re just super proud of it.”

Kelly Villares agreed, noting that it was a “really revolutionizing” success for the dance industry overall.

“We’re hoping to see improvements in the NFL cheer world as well,” she added.

Us Weekly shared exclusive details last month that the cheer squad received a giant salary increase just before America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 2 premiered on Netflix.

The show’s first season, which took the world by storm in 2024, revealed that the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders reportedly made only around $500 per game along with hourly wages for practices and some fees for public appearances and events.

“It’s a tough topic to start to have conversations [about],” cheerleader Jada Mclean told Us before the second season’s June 18 premiere. “But we were pretty serious, as leaders, this was something that we really wanted to see a change happen.”

Jada was one of the veteran cheerleaders who led the charge for more money.

“A walkout was something that we talked about, but at the end of the day, we knew we all wanted to be on that field and as hard as it was to decide what the right choice was to do, we just decided we were gonna cheer,” she added. “But still stand firm in what we believed in. And at the end of season 2, there is a resolution that’s positive for us.”

The season 2 finale revealed that the women received “400 percent” salary increases.

“I can’t go into too much detail, but I will say there’s an increase all around when it comes to hourly and appearance fees and just everything as a whole,” Jada told Us. “It’s a very great change and I think the girls are gonna benefit a lot from it moving forward.”

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will see six new members lace up the squad’s iconic boots next season.

In a celebratory post made via Instagram on Thursday, July 17, the team introduced the rookies: Brenley Herrera, Maddy Unger, Jenna Waller, Morgan Perschy, Parker Kilpatrick and Faith Ward. 

The newbies were welcomed to the team by Charly Barby, who joined the team last year. 

“OUR TEAM ,” Barby wrote. “6 perfect hardworking amazing & dedicated DCC ROOKIES!!!!!! So incredibly deserving. What an amazing summer & an even better season to start!!!! A night everyone will remember forever. I couldn’t love this team more if I tried .”

Herrera, a former cheerleader at Texas Tech University, celebrated the news on social media. 

“I’m still at a complete loss for words,” she wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “But i’m so honored and excited to announce that i’m officially a DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADER!!!!!! this journey couldn’t have happened the way it did without the most incredible people in my life.”

She added, “This is truly such an amazing honor and I want to thank the Cowboys Organization for giving me this life changing opportunity. I now get to cheer for AMERICAS TEAM!!!!! This Texas girls heart just might explode. .”

Unger, a former cheerleader at the University of Nebraska, said she was “overwhelmed with gratitude & SO excited” to announce the news in a post via Instagram on Thursday. 

Waller was a cheerleader at the University of Oklahoma who graduated in April 2024. 

Perschy was on the cheerleading team and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in May. 

Kilpatrick was a cheerleader at the University of Texas and was a member of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue team — the first and only co-ed dance crew and drumline in the NFL — last season.

Faith, a dancer with more than 200,000 followers on TikTok, is the first New Zealand native to be named a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. 

“This journey has been incredibly challenging, both physically and mentally, but I wouldn’t change a thing!” she shared via Instagram on Monday. “I’ve been pushed in ways I never imagined, I’ve learned and grown so much already. I’m excited to see where this wild ride takes me! I feel so privileged to stand alongside not only the most talented dancers but also some of the most amazing women I’ve ever met.”

Thanks to the cheerleaders who came before them, the new members of the team will be rewarded financially like never before.

Masquerade is all about those benjamins — it flaunts its wealth almost as much as Olivia does. That’s a large part of its appeal, though, as it’s escapist porn at its finest — and sleaziest. Lowe is good as always at playing a pretty boy with a shady past, and Kim Cattrall pops up briefly as one of Tim’s horny older lovers. You can see her most popular role, Samantha Jones, in an embryonic stage in Masquerade, a full decade before Sex and the City debuted on HBO.

‘Derailed’ (2005)

Rachel Green in a thriller? Yeah, it happened, and everyone’s forgotten about it. But Derailed is a modest thriller that both works and gives star Jennifer Aniston a role she doesn’t usually play — the femme fatale. When family man Charles (Clive Owen) meets Lucina (Aniston) on a commuter train, he’s instantly intrigued — and in lust. But when they check into a hotel and begin to take off their clothes, a naked intruder storms in, assaults Lucinda and punches Charles. Days later, Charles receives a phone call demanding $10,000 or else his wife will know he almost cheated on her.

And that’s only the beginning as Charles and Lucinda get wrapped up in a blackmail plot that will leave at least one person dead and another in prison. Derailed has a wild plot full of narrative surprises, but it’s mostly kept on track by its two lead stars, who are believable as horny would-be adulterers who are in way over their heads.

‘My One and Only’ (2009)

15-year-old George (Logan Lerman) loves his mother Anne (Renée Zellweger), even though she’s a complete mess. After she catches her husband with another woman, she takes George and heads out West, with little direction and almost no money. As they travel from St. Louis to Albuquerque, George begins to understand his mother’s need to flee from her past and his own ambition to be better than his dysfunctional family.

Based on journeyman actor George Hamilton’s life story, My One and Only is a fascinating coming-of-age story that focuses on a complex — and often messy — mother/son relationship. Anne doesn’t always make the right choices, but she always wants what’s best for her son. George loves his mother, but he wants to get as far away from her as possible. The movie doesn’t soften the rough edges of their relationship, and that alone makes it worth a watch.
