Looking Back at Viral Jumbotron Moments Amid Andy Byron's Kiss Cam Scandal
Thanks to social media, what happens on the Jumbotron doesn’t always stay in the arena or stadium.
The big screens have long been a mainstay at concerts and sporting events, often used to highlight couples in the crowd for “kiss cam” segments or to showcase other fan moments.
And sometimes, they stir the pot. Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and his coworker Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer, seemingly had their extramarital affair exposed via Jumbotron while watching Coldplay perform at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on July 16, 2025.
Andy, who is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, according to multiple outlets, had his arms wrapped around Kristin when the kiss cam stopped on the pair during the concert. Once the two realized they were on camera, Andy dropped his arms from Kristin’s waist and ducked out of the Jumbotron’s view, while Kristin pulled her hands to her face and turned around.

Coldplay Accidentally Exposes an Alleged Affair
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin immediately realized what might have been going on between Andy and Cabot when he saw them on the kiss cam.
“Whoa, look at these two. Alright, come on. You’re OK,” Martin told the crowd as the pair tried to hide their faces. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure what to do. Holy s***. I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
After that moment, the kiss cam moved to another couple, and Martin asked them, “OK, now listen, are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple?” They nodded, and the musician said, “OK, good,” before he started to play the band’s song “Fix You,” as seen in fan footage shared online.
