As tension builds in the villa, fans are taking to the Love Island USA app to make their voices heard.
The Stand on Business challenge on Tuesday, July 1, led to a new show record as the Love Island mobile app received more than 1 million votes in the first six minutes, according to Deadline. The internal date noted that after the less than two hour voting window closed, the app had received votes from more than 3 million unique users.
Fans are asked to vote multiple times throughout the season to affect the outcome of the show. Earlier in season 7, the results led to a recoupling where Jeremiah Brown was paired off with Iris Kendall instead of Huda Mustafa, Hannah Fields was selected to be with Pepe Garcia over Charlie Georgiou and Olandria Carthen swapped Taylor Williams for Jalen Brown.
One week later, Hannah and Jeremiah were dumped from the island after they were one of the people with the least amount of support from the public. Since the app relaunched in May, it has grown an average of more than 100,000 unique users per day. The app has added more than 1 million new users since Tuesday with over 5 million unique users.
The Love Island USA Islanders live in isolation and are under constant video surveillance while searching for The One in a luxury villa in Fiji. They must be coupled up to remain on the show and to stand a chance to receive the prize of $100,000.
The passion for the outcome of the show has led to the network reminding fans not to take their passion too far.
“The keyword in Love Island is … love. We love our fans. We love our islanders,” read a statement from Peacock that aired in a June episode. “We don’t love cyberbullying, harassment or hate.”
Host Ariana Madix has also had to step in. “I do want to say something to some of those people who are online,” she said on Aftersun. “Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxxing people.”
Ariana continued: “Don’t be going on islanders’ pages and saying rude things. You still have time to delete all of that because the islanders don’t have their phones. So we are giving you a chance because this is a fun, amazing and beautiful show. We should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves.”
The record-breaking voting comes as the villa is at odds. During Tuesday’s episode, the Islanders had to write letters to each other — signed or anonymous — where they called them out in front of everyone. This led to several falling outs including between Huda and Chelley Bissainthe following the former’s makeout session with Ace Greene in an earlier challenge.
New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.

Michael Madsen died on Thursday, July 3. He was 67.

The actor was found unresponsive at his home in Malibu, California, on Thursday after deputies responded to a 911 call that morning, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Us. Madsen was pronounced dead at the residence at 8:25 a.m. PT.
“The death is believed to have been from natural causes and no foul play is suspected,” the sheriff’s department added.
“In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life,” Madsen’s managers Smith and Susan Ferris and publicist Liz Rodriguez told Us in a statement on Thursday. “Michael was also preparing to release a new book called Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughtsand Poems, currently being edited.”
The statement concluded: “Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.”

Madsen and Tarantino, 62, frequently collaborated during the actor’s four decades in the industry. They worked on Kill Bill: Vol. 1, The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood.
The late actor also appeared on Our Family Honor, Vengeance Unlimited, Big Apple and Powers and starred in WarGames, Thelma & Louise, Wyatt Earp and more.

Michael and Bisignano were married from 1991 to 1995. He married DeAnna in 1996 and filed for divorce in September 2024. Michael and DeAnna also shared son Hudson, who died by suicide in January 2022 at the age of 26.
When it comes to the little white lies a parent tells their child, Priyanka Chopra Jonas admits there aren’t many she tells her daughter, Malti, 3.
While a guest on Kylie Kelce’s podcast “Not Gonna Lie,” Kelce and Chopra Jonas discussed the fibs they tell their kids. Kelce, 33, admitted to telling her four girls that the TV in their minivan only works during long car rides, while Chopra Jonas, 42, often tells Malti that the internet isn’t working in the house.
But that’s about where the lies stop, Chopra Jonas admitted, because when it comes to Malti, she can get away with anything.
“She’s the most precious thing in our lives and was such a miracle anyway that she gets away with murder with me,” Chopra Jonas told Kelce. “So I try, I try, but the internet is one of my big lies.”

“Oh, and with food as well,” the actress continued. “She wants to be as old as Moana. And my daughter was a preemie, preemie baby, so I’m one of those NICU moms that is still, like, obsessed with her nutrition.”
Chopra Jonas said each of Malti’s meals include everything she needs, despite her daughter’s pediatrician telling her she “needs to stop obsessing.”
“I can’t help it,” Chopra Jonas continued, “because she was so tiny when she was born.”
Malti was 110 days early when she was born, or “the entire third trimester,” as Chopra Jonas explained.
“That is impressive,” Kelce said. “What a fighter, girl.”
“Yeah, she really fought and clawed her way into life,” Chopra Jonas said of Malti, whom she shares with husband Nick Jonas. “I have so much admiration for her. So she gets away with anything with me. Honestly, I’m just like, ‘Yes, take it. It’s yours. Everything, whatever you need.’”
The Heads of State star also admits that her daughter knows it too. Malti is a big fan of playing dress-up with her mom’s wardrobe, who doesn’t object.
“She comes into my closet. She calls it the ‘magic closet,’” Chopra Jonas shared. “She’ll wear my shoes, walk out. She’ll like, take my bag, walk out.”
Kelce admitted that Malti would get along well with her third daughter, Bennett, who loves playing with makeup, which she calls “wakeup.” Malti calls it “yippic.”
“I just want to see life through their eyes for a little bit,” Kelce admitted, to which Chopra Jonas agreed.
“It’s my escape. Like, if I’m having a s***ty day, that’s what I do. I come back home to my daughter and my husband, like, I come back home especially to her, and I like, just throw my bag, my shoes, whatever, and just snuggle into her,” Chopra Jonas said. “And everything is OK in the world.”

Brie Garcia is in the midst of making major strides in her career, which has included adding one important skill to her professional resume: matchmaking.
Brie, 41, who recently cohosted ABC and ESPN’s coverage of the 2025 X Games, exclusively told Us Weekly how she was scouting potential suitors for her twin sister, Nikki Garcia, while she was on the ground in Salt Lake City.
“I had my goggles on this past weekend,” Brie said. “I was like, ‘Who’s single?’ I kept texting her. I’m very happy in my marriage, but I do think I’d be the best wingwoman. I told her, ‘This time, you need to listen to me and trust your sister.’ I feel like I’d find the best guy.”
Brie has been married to former professional wrestler Bryan Danielson since 2014, and the couple share two children: daughter Birdie, 8, and son Buddy, 4.
Nikki finalized her divorce from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev in November 2024. The couple share son Matteo, 4.
Despite Brie’s confidence that there are “great men” out there for her sister, she admitted the twins’ fame presents a conundrum.
“This is what Nikki and I were thinking: Are they scared to date women in the public eye?” Brie questioned. “Especially ones with a podcast.”
The sisters cohost “The Nikki & Brie Show” podcast, which releases new episodes every Monday and Wednesday.

As for her recent X Games experience, Brie revealed it all came about by chance.
“It’s crazy, because Nikki actually got the phone call first to host,” Brie revealed. “She’s back at WWE. I was like their runner-up in a way. I got lucky that Nikki was busy and I could do it.”
Brie added, “I’m so grateful to the X Games because I’ve been wanting that chance. I feel like Nikki keeps getting the chances. We’re twins, so sometimes people will hire Nikki and it just feels like the Bella Twins. People put us together.”
“I really hope people saw Brie,” she said about the X Games gig. “Like, I’m here. I am ready to rumble. Let’s go.”
With the X Games in her back pocket, Brie is looking ahead with optimism about her television future.
“I’m hoping people saw that I’m capable,” she said. “I love sports, and I love what women have been doing in sports in the last five years across the board. I hope people will give me a chance and trust me.”
“I have a partner in life who is so supportive of what I do. So I don’t feel like I have to apologize for it or rein it in,” the human rights attorney, 47, told Glamour in an interview published on Thursday, July 3. “And I remember when I became a mom, which was obviously a new frontier, he was the first one to say, ‘I know you’ve got this speech at the Security Council. You have to go. I’ve got the kids, don’t worry about it.’”
George, 64, and Amal have been married since 2014, going on to welcome twins Alexander and Ella in 2017.
“I feel so incredibly lucky to share every day with him, and now we’re four,” Amal added to Glamour. “I don’t take any of it for granted. I treasure the laughter and the joy that I get from just being with them.”
Amal further gushed that her family is “the greatest joy” in her life.
“The people I love — my husband, our children, our friends, filling our house with people we love,” she told the outlet about how she finds happiness. “That’s the greatest joy in my life and what gives me balance.”
Outside of her home life, Amal is a dedicated lawyer and activist.
“I was lucky. I grew up in a place that was safe with parents who supported me, and an amazing education. Many girls don’t have this start in life. They face very significant barriers, and it’s a driving force in my work to remove those barriers,” Amal said. “I was born in a part of the world — in the Middle East — where many women don’t have equal rights and many girls don’t have the same opportunities as boys.”
She continued, “It’s been a driving force in my work to try to use legal tools to remove those obstacles wherever we can, so that a girl can start her life with the same chance as her brother. I think it also gives us a perspective when you watch young girls in Iran with a backpack on, trying to protest for their most basic rights, and you just think about the risks that girls are having to take around the world to just get basic freedom.”
Amal also supports George in his career endeavors, recently joining him and the twins in New York City for the duration of his Tony-nominated run in the Broadway production of Good Night, and Good Luck.
“They love being here [and] we’re having a really fun time,” George gushed of Alexander and Ella during a February appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. “Actually, a play is kind of a good schedule because you’re working at night and you get to see the kids during the day, so it’s OK.”
The greatest tennis players aren’t the only ones grabbing the attention of fans at Wimbledon.
On Wednesday, July 2, John Cena and his wife, Shay Shariatzadeh, stepped out in London to attend day three of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.
Before taking a seat in the parkside suite, the duo posed for photos at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
Shariatzadeh, 36, smiled from ear to ear while wearing a sleeveless aqua blue summer dress, which featured a bubble hem. As for Cena, 48, he tried to match his wife with a blue blazer and beige pants.
Once they were able to sit and watch the match alongside celebrity guests like Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Cena and Shariatzadeh were photographed displaying a little PDA as they kissed on the lips.
Although the Heads of State actor and reigning WWE Champion likes to keep his personal life on the private side, Cena recently shared a glimpse into his marriage to Shariatzadeh.

When asked if acting or wrestling was his “No. 1 passion,” Cena corrected the reporter and gave a shout-out to his wife.
“My No. 1 passion is my wife,” Cena told Extra on Tuesday, June 24, at the New York City premiere of Heads of State. “Absolutely. That is the first on the list. I’d say right behind that is my health so I can be the best husband to my wife.”
Cena met Shariatzadeh in February 2019 and proposed a year later on Valentine’s Day.
“It was beautiful,” the WWE star shared of the proposal during a February 2024 appearance on The Howard Stern Show. “And I had the ring in my pocket because I was afraid I’d lose it in my bag, by chance, and I [decided to] ask her right now. So I blew all the special plans and just said ‘Hey, there’s no better moment,’ because there wasn’t — it was so beautiful, still, we were both so open and it just happened right there.”
The couple ultimately tied the knot in October 2020 during an intimate and private wedding.
When asked for the secret to a happy marriage and relationship, Cena told WSJ. Magazine, “Honesty, communication, genuine love, gratitude and vulnerability have helped us tremendously.”
Before meeting Shariatzadeh, Cena was with wrestler Nikki Bella. They were together for six years before calling it quits in 2018. He was also briefly married to Elizabeth Huberdeau from 2009 to 2012.
Not all reality TV stars are created equally — some come with a following before the cameras even start rolling.
From Charli D’Amelio to Alix Earle, many content creators have taken center stage in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom. (D’Amelio won season 31 with partner Mark Ballas, while Earle will be competing on season 34 in fall 2025.)
Earle, who rose to stardom online thanks to her viral “Get Ready With Me” videos, is set to be featured on a new reality show following her and her family.
“The show is in very early stages of development,” a source exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly in June 2025. A second insider noted that no studio has been attached to the project. “It will explore Alix traveling around the world for work and her family dynamic,” the first source shared.

Earle will lace up her dancing shoes on Dancing With the Stars season 34. “I mean, I’ve always been a fan of Dancing With the Stars. I used to watch it when I was so young with my grandma,” she said on GMA in May 2025. “I was so in love with dance. When this opportunity came to me, it was like, ‘What can I do next? Where can I take this?’ I mean, I’m ready to challenge myself, I think it’s gonna be a lot of fun. It was a very obvious answer to say yes.”
Earle and her family are also the subjects of a new reality show, which a source told Us is “in the very early stages of development.”
Charli and her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, debuted their own Hulu reality show alongside parents Marc and Heidi D’Amelio in 2021 and aired for three seasons. Charli and Heidi also competed for the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing With the Stars season 31, which the TikToker won in 2022.

Amazon Prime Video‘s movie and TV show schedule in July 2025 is as impressive as a fireworks display on the 4th of July.
The writers and editors at Watch With Us are big fans of the streamer, and we’re pumped to watch such classic movies like A Fish Called Wanda with Jamie Lee Curtis and newer flicks like Wicked with Ariana Grande later in the month.
We’re also curious to stream Amazon’s original movie Heads of State, an action-comedy that stars John Cena and Idris Elba as world leaders who kick butt and take no prisoners.

Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to sharing her opinions on the internet — and when it comes to beauty products, the RHONY star isn’t shy about praising or passing on certain formulas. One product she raves about is a hydration serum that adds intense moisture to your skin while leaving it with a youthful glow. Keep reading to learn more about how it works.
“I have always been a fan of BeautyStat, and I have gotten to know the founder, Ron Robinson, who happens to be a cosmetic chemist,” Frankel told Byrdie. “They are launching a new coconut-based serum this month called the Triple-Plump Coconut Milk Serum, and it’s like nothing I’ve ever tried before.” Has your interest piqued? Well, you can get the exact serum on Amazon now.
The BeautyStat Triple-Plump Coconut Milk Serum is all about hydrating to your skin. Its formula is crafted with a powerhouse combination of hyaluronic acid, polyglutamine acid, micro silver and coconut complex known for plumping and locking moisture deep into the skin’s layers. Additionally, micro silver supports the microbiome, resulting in more radiant skin.
There is also calibrated coconut complex specifically formulated by BeautyStat’s chemists to help fortify your skin’s moisture barrier. With consistent use, the serum leaves your skin plumped, hydrated and youthful.
“Coconut water is extremely hydrating in a different way,” Frankel continued. “But I haven’t seen it in skincare except for in a lotion. I think that’s really innovative and creative and jumps off the page. It’s good fat, and as a natural food chef, that was the first place we used coconut water and coconut oil.”
Shoppers are also raving about the lightweight serum. Here’s what they’re saying:
“Smoothness achieved,” a five-star review said. “If you don’t want your skin to be as soft as a baby’s bottom, don’t buy this product. I love the instant hydration and plumping I feel when I use this product.”
“This feels so great to put onto the skin; it’s such a good texture, and I love the way my skin soaks it up like it’s the nectar of the gods,” another wrote. “It’s definitely ‘milky’ in terms of texture, and the price seems fair, even though it is a fair chunk of cash.”
If you need a serum that actually delivers on its promised results, make sure you add this one to your cart ASAP.
Before Savannah Guthrie found love with Michael Feldman, she was married to Mark Orchard for a brief period of time.
The twosome reportedly met sometime in 2005 while covering the Michael Jackson sexual abuse trial — Guthrie on assignment as a CourtTV correspondent and Orchard for the BBC.
Guthrie and Orchard tied the knot in December 2005, but ended up filing for divorce in 2009.
While she hasn’t opened up about her marriage to Orchard throughout the years, Guthrie did make a short comment on the breakup in July 2025.
“I don’t want to talk about getting divorced,” she said on an episode of Monica Lewinsky’s“Reclaiming” podcast. “It was horrible and sad and it broke my heart. It took me years to recover. I’m not blaming anyone but I don’t really want to get into it.”
Over two decades since her divorce from Orchard, Guthrie published a series of personal essays called Mostly What God Does. The book included a disclaimer to readers to let them know that Guthrie wasn’t going to touch on some personal matters because they were “too personal and too embarrassing.”
“I’m down here and my feet are burning on the pavement — I just don’t want to tell you why the pavement was so hot or how many blisters I had on my feet,” the disclaimer read. “I don’t want to give you the gory details. But I do want to share with you and I understand that you may have these questions and maybe this won’t be enough for you.”
February 2025
In an interview with Us Weekly, Guthrie said she was 36 when she got divorced and “wasn’t married long,” which was a “huge disappointment” to her.
“I was pretty sure that I had lost my opportunity [to have kids] and more or less ruined my life,” she explained. “All I ever really wanted was to fall in love, be a mom and have a family. I don’t know if it’s acceptable to admit these days, but that’s kind of how I was. I wanted to do something important and meaningful, but I really wanted a family.”

On an episode of Lewinsky’s “Reclaiming” podcast, Guthrie said she didn’t “want to talk about getting divorced because “it was horrible” and “sad” and took her “years to recover.”
“I’m not blaming anyone, but I really don’t want to get into it,” she noted.
Kesha says that she got “re-canceled” when her “Cannibal” lyrics name-dropping notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer resurfaced online.
“Oh my God, I got re-canceled for the Jeffrey Dahmer lyric. It was a controversial lyric,” Kesha, 38, told People in an interview published on Thursday, July 3. “If some people aren’t offended by what I’m doing, I’m probably not doing a very good job of being a pop star.”
“Whenever you tell me I’m pretty / That’s when the hunger really hits me,” Kesha sings. “Your little heart goes pitter-patter / I want your liver on a platter / Use your finger to stir my tea/ And for dessert, I’ll suck your teeth / Be too sweet, and you’ll be a goner / I’ll pull a Jeffrey Dahmer.”
The song went viral 10 years later with a crop of new fans choreographing a TikTok dance to the sound. Others, however, criticized Kesha for sensationalizing Dahmer, who was killed in 1994 while serving 15 consecutive life sentences for the murders of 15 men.

“It’s just an interesting time where that can happen now,” Kesha told People. “It’s a trippy thing to witness, and it’s so cool, and I love it. I’m connecting to a whole different audience that wasn’t even alive when I wrote the songs.”
She added, “I feel like the way people are consuming music is so different than it was, and will probably continue to get even more different. But it’s a beautiful thing to watch a song you wrote, God, 15 years ago, and have 7-year-olds now relate to that song.”
Kesha recently started making music again after leaving Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records in 2023. The pop star claimed in 2014 that Luke, now 51, assaulted her in 2005, which the producer denied before filing a defamation lawsuit. They settled out of court in June 2023.
“There is a day marked on my calendar when I am free to release music, so just know that she is out here in the woods writing and singing till 4 in the morning, ferociously,” Kesha told V magazine in February 2024. “I am being a feral wild woman out here.”
She continued, “I’ll say this: I’ve never felt happier, more excited, more at peace and had such a purpose in my entire life. I feel like I have earned the right to be this happy for sure. So letting that be … I am loving every minute of what feels like a brand-new and very exciting chapter.”
Lily Allen has been very open about her journey to motherhood over the years.
The singer shares daughters Ethel, born in November 2011, and Marnie, born in January 2013, with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper. Their first child, son George, was stillborn when Allen was six months pregnant in 2010.
“For ten hours between my baby dying and me getting him out, I entered a realm I’d never been to before,” she wrote in her 2018 memoir, My Thoughts Exactly. “It is a realm I’d never been to before. It is a realm I cannot describe or revisit, even if I wanted to. The sickness I was experiencing was consuming. I felt knocked out. I felt not human.”
“I’d get pregnant all the time, all the time,” she said during a July 2025 episode of her “Miss Me?” podcast. “Abortions, I’ve had a few, but then again, I can’t remember exactly how many. I think maybe like, I want to say five, four or five.”
Allen was married to Cooper from 2011 to 2018 and then went on to marry Stranger Things actor David Harbour in 2020. They reportedly separated in 2024, but neither Allen nor Harbour has confirmed the split.
Below, read more of Allen’s quotes about pregnancy and motherhood:

Allen suffered a stillbirth in 2020 when she was six months pregnant with her and Cooper’s son, George.
“As I was delivering him, the doctors said there was a pulse, but then there wasn’t,” she told the BBC Radio “4 Woman’s Hour” podcast in September 2018. “The cord was wrapped around his neck … He was just too small.”
Allen further detailed some of the complications that occurred during the delivery.
“He was so small that he actually got stuck halfway in and halfway out,” she explained. “And because his skin wasn’t fully formed they couldn’t use forceps to pull him out. So there was a period of about 12 hours of him lying there deceased in between my legs. Which was incredibly traumatic.”
She concluded: “I went into trauma and I don’t think I will ever recover from that.”
On Stepping Back from Her Career to ‘Concentrate’ on Her Children
“I chose stepping back and concentrating on [my children], and I’m glad that I’ve done that because I think they’re pretty well-rounded people,” Allen said in an interview with Radio Times in March 2024 after joking that Ethel and Marnie “ruined my career.”
“I mean I love them and they complete me, but in terms of, like, pop stardom, totally ruined it. Yup,” she said, laughing. “It really annoys me when people say you can have it all because, quite frankly, you can’t. And, you know, some people choose their career over their children and that’s their prerogative. But my parents were quite absent when I was a kid and I feel like that really left some nasty scars that I’m not willing to repeat on [my kids].”
On Being a Single Parent

During a 2024 episode of “Miss Me?,” Allen said single moms must rely on a “strong support network.”
“My mom [film producer Alison Owen] had me when she was 23 and had my sister when she was 17 and I cannot fathom how she managed to create and establish a pretty successful career for herself whilst having three children,” she said, alluding to her sister, Sarah Owen, and brother, Alfie Allen.
Lily continued: “She would say that she doesn’t think that it would be possible in today’s world because we don’t have the same sense of community that you guys had when it was the ‘80s or late ‘70s. You know, people are strapped for cash, people are strapped for time. Life is tough, at the moment out there.”
On Becoming a Mother for the Wrong Reasons
Lily admitted that she had children for reasons she now views as misguided in a discussion on her podcast in September 2024.
“I think I had children for all the wrong reasons really because I was yearning for unconditional love, which I haven’t felt in my life since I was a child,” she shared, admitting she hoped motherhood would offer her the love and stability she had long been craving.
“Also my career was at such a high speed, you know high pressure and I’m a people pleaser and I felt very overwhelmed by what was happening,” she continued. “I just didn’t get much respite and I felt like the one way to stop people hassling me, it’s not about me — it’s about this other person that’s inside me.”
Lily added, “They did leave me alone, but I don’t think I really understood what I got myself into.”
The Guilt of Falling Back into Old Habits

Lily told “The Recovery” podcast host DJ Fat Tony that she and Cooper were facing financial troubles when she decided to join Miley Cyrus’ “Bangerz Tour” in 2014. She admitted she wasn’t mentally ready to leave her children, and began abusing alcohol and drugs again.
“I felt so guilty about neglecting my kids in those early years of their lives and having to go off on tour and misbehaving in the way I was,” she said.
On Her Multiple Abortions
Lily was open and honest about undergoing several abortions in her life during a July 2025 episode of her podcast.
“Abortions, I’ve had a few, but then again, I can’t remember exactly how many. I think maybe like, I want to say five, four or five,” she told cohost Miquita Oliver, who noted that she’d had “about five, too.”
“I remember once getting pregnant and the man paying for my abortion, and me thinking it was so romantic,” Lily said with a laugh, noting her opinions have since changed. “I don’t think it’s generous or romantic. How much is it, like, 500 quid? Kids are a lot more expensive.”
Lily recalled the aforementioned guy not “texting her after” she got the abortion despite paying for it. “Fair [to be honest], I was a f***ing crazy bitch, still am,” she quipped.
The “Smile” singer added that she’s since gotten better at using contraceptives. “I have an IUD now. I think I’m on my third, maybe fourth. I just remember before that was a complete disaster area.”
In 2022, Lily also spoke about her personal stance on abortions, sharing via Instagram Story, “I wish people would stop posting examples of exceptional reasons for having abortions. Most people I know, myself included, just didn’t want to have a f***ing baby. And that is reason enough! We don’t have to justify it.”
On the Possibility of Having More Children

Following her marriage to Harbour, Lily told The Sunday Timesin October 2020 that she would like to have more babies.
“I think so. Especially now Marnie’s getting so big. It’s like, no, my babies,” she said, admitting she misses having little ones around. “I do. I miss little terrors running around the house.”
Lily added, however: “I’m in a really good place. I don’t know if I’d mess with my hormones, at this particular point.”
Opening Up About the Joy of Having Kids in Her Life
“I can say, it’s really tough – they are always there and you have to be present and there for them,” she shared on her podcast, noting that it’s difficult to “hold things together” sometimes. “And that’s OK. When things in life are going well and you’re coping, it’s really nice to have the kids around. They’re a joy. One of the main sources of joy in one’s life.”
Lily added: “We are a support network for each other and encourage each other to talk about our feelings but I think the main thing is telling them we’re going to get through it and be fine.”

Nickelodeon alum Jennette McCurdy surprised fans when she first detailed her abusive relationship with her mother, Debra McCurdy.
Jennette and her three older brothers were raised in California by Debra and father Mark McCurdy. (The actress would later find out that Mark was not her biological dad.) As a child, Jennette’s mother encouraged her to start acting, which led to her rising to stardom for portraying Sam Puckett on iCarly from 2007 to 2012.
While Jennette was making people laugh on screen, behind the scenes she had a tumultuous relationship with her mother, who introduced her to several eating disorders and forced her to continue acting.
Following Debra’s death from cancer in 2013, Jennette briefly continued to book roles before stepping away from acting. She pivoted to writing and used her personal essays as inspiration for a one-woman dark comedy show: I’m Glad My Mom Died. This ultimately became the jumping off point for Jennette’s 2022 memoir of the same name, which is now being adapted into an Apple TV+ dramedy series with Jennifer Aniston cast as Debra.
“Of course, there are moments where I fantasize that my mom would’ve apologized or that we’d have a turnaround in our relationship, but that’s fantasy,” Jennette told Vogue in August 2022 about reflecting on her complicated relationship with her mother. “That’s a lot of what the book is about to me, not needing to romanticize the dead and validate our own experience with them.”
She continued: “I feel very confidently that if my mom were still alive, I’d still have eating disorders. I’d still be having a lot of mental health struggles. I’m sure she and I would still live in the same place and I would have no chance of being in a relationship or having any friends. I have no doubt my life would still be very controlled by her if she were alive.”
Keep scrolling for Jennette’s most candid comments about Debra’s abuse — and her healing journey in the wake of her mother’s death:
Finding Her Voice
“My earliest memories of childhood were of heaviness, and chaos,” Jennette told People in October 2021. “My mom’s emotions were so erratic that it was like walking a tightrope every day. The mood fluctuations were daily.”
Jennette noted it took a long time for her to find her “identity” without her mother. She was able to reach a point though where she finally felt “free.”
Breaking Her Silence

Before her memoir hit shelves, Jennette opened up about her eating disorder and a stunted adolescence.
“It’s something I mean sincerely,” Jennette told BuzzFeed News in August 2022 about the title of her book. “I’m genuinely glad. If she were alive, I’d still be trapped. Every important decision in my life wouldn’t have been possible.”
Jennette also recalled wanting to leave the entertainment industry following her mother’s death. “I think seeing yourself is particularly difficult with growing up in the public eye, because you’re so public-facing and seen as one thing,” she continued. “That makes the reality of you so much more unseen and invalidated and unacknowledged. But now, because I see myself, I can accept being seen by others.”
Unpacking the Trauma
According to I’m Glad My Mom Died, Debra insisted on performing vaginal and breast exams on Jennette and never let her daughter shower alone until she was 17 years old. Jennette also opened up about how her mother controlled her appearance, which included bleaching her hair and whitening her teeth when she was 10 years old.
Debbie allegedly introduced Jennette to calorie counting one year later, which led to Jennette’s eating disorder.
“It’s quite unfortunate, but my mom taught me anorexia. She taught me calorie restriction when I was 11,” Jennette said during a September 2022 episode of Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk. “And I knew that my mom really wanted me to stay young. She really, really made that clear to me. She would sob and really clutch me intensely and say, like, ‘I don’t want my baby to grow up.’ ”
She continued: “I knew me growing up would mean us separating, and I didn’t want that to happen, so I asked if there was a way that I could stop the boobies from coming in, and she told me, ‘Well, there’s a thing called calorie restriction.’
“The truth is that I wish I had anorexia, not bulimia. I’m pining for anorexia. I’ve grown humiliated by bulimia, which I used to think of as the best of both worlds — eat what you want, throw it all up, stay thin,” Jennette detailed in her book. “But now it doesn’t feel like the best of both worlds. It feels terrible. I’m filled with so much shame and anxiety every time after I eat.”
Elsewhere in her memoir, Jennette discussed developing a complicated relationship with sex due to her religion and her mother’s controlling behavior. Jennette wrote how her first sexual encounter was when she was 18 and her partner was 32.
“I wanted something that was bold and also something that I meant sincerely. I would never use a bold and attention-grabbing title if it weren’t authentic,” she told The Hollywood Reporter when the book debuted. “I would never do it if it were just coming from a flippant place. That’s not my approach to humor. I knew that anybody who had experienced parental abuse would understand the title, and anybody who had a sense of humor would understand the title.”
Jennette also addressed her family’s reaction to the memoir.
“My brothers have been so supportive, so understanding,” she added about her siblings, to whom she dedicated the book. “They get the title, to put it simply. It was also a title that I knew I wanted early on.”
Putting in the Work

The former child star admitted it took a while for her to feel comfortable discussing her past.
“Because it’s so personal, I felt like it was important that I had a lot of experience in therapy,” Jennette told THR. “I didn’t sit down with a therapist and say: ‘So I want to write a memoir. How can we get me to a place where I’ve got the perspective to do it?’ But it was several years of really intense therapy before I started feeling like I could explore all that personal stuff creatively.”
Jennette credited therapy for helping her heal from her trauma.
“My mind just went: ‘Is it possible to be so full of s*** that you can’t see when you’re full of s***?’ And then I was like: ‘No, I think I’ve done too much therapy for that,'” she explained. “I consider myself fully recovered from eating disorders, and I’m really, really proud of that. And yet, I think that elements of my relationship with my mom will always be something that I’m exploring in some way, whether that’s just subconsciously kicking around or whether that’s creatively. But I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It doesn’t feel retraumatizing for me to explore that relationship creatively.”
Her Memory of Her Mother
During an appearance on The Daily Show in September 2022, Jennette was asked whether she hates her mom.
“I definitely don’t hate my mom,” she noted. “I think she was a really complicated and nuanced person, and I try to kind of articulate her to the best of my ability, and all her many shades and colors.”
Influencer Anita Wright is sending a prerecorded message to her followers one month after her death following a battle with ovarian cancer at age 77.
“I have passed away. Yes, that’s the truth of the matter. I video recorded this so that my daughters could post it and let you all know what has gone on,” Wright said in the Wednesday, July 2, Instagram video. “Now, first of all, let’s say, I’m looking pretty good for a dead person. Anyhow, that is the sad truth. I have passed away.”
Wright explained that she chose to use MAID, medical assistance in dying, which she described as “the perfect thing” for her.
“I didn’t want to suffer any longer and my girls didn’t want me to suffer and nor did my friends,” she said. “It wasn’t scary. It wasn’t scary at all. I just basically got an IV and then nodded off.”
She continued, “The truth of the matter is, it’s hard for everybody that’s left. So I would love it if you guys could all rally around each other and anybody who is upset by this post. Know that I’m OK. I’m OK. If there was a way I could come back and tell you that, I would. But, trust me, I’m OK.”
Wright noted that she didn’t want her death to “take [away] any hope” for others on their own health journeys and added that there are new “treatments” being developed “all the time.”
“I also wanted to honor all of you and let you know how much I have loved being one of your influencers, being one of your friends, being somebody that has taken some of my advice to heart and some of you have given me great advice,” she said. “I love you all, I loved being here, I’ll see you on the other side.”
Wright concluded her message by blowing a kiss at the camera, as the video began showing a photo of her posing next to a bench while wearing a shirt that read, “Nana.”
“This is our mom’s last message to her followers who were so very important to her,” the caption read. “She died May 7th with MAID. Thank you all for your support.”
Wright, who was known as tastyentertaining on Instagram, amassed more than 150,000 followers while sharing lifestyle content. The influencer had also been candid about her cancer diagnosis, which she shared in 2022. Two years later, Wright explained that her cancer began spreading.
“I’m very hopeful that we can kick this to the curb again a little while longer,” Wright said in a video shared via her GoFundMe. “Even though it’s not good news, I’m not going to worry about it.”

Jared Leto continued on with his band 30 Seconds to Mars’ summer world tour in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations against him.
Leto, 53, and 30 Seconds to Mars performed in front of a jam-packed festival audience at I-Days 2025 in Milan, Italy on Wednesday, July 2, and they are expected back on stage in Gorizia, Italy, at the Piazza della Casa Rossa on Thursday, July 3. The band have upcoming shows scheduled in Spain and Portugal throughout July, before returning to the U.S. for a homecoming concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on August 16.
On Wednesday, Leto and his rock group performed a selection of their biggest hits to the I-Days festival crowd, including “Up in the Air,” “Kings and Queens” and “This is War.”
Leto and 30 Seconds to Mars have shared photos and videos from their European shows throughout the week via social media, without acknowledging the controversy swirling around the Oscar-winning actor.
The report included allegations from an unnamed woman who claimed that Leto approached her at a Los Angeles café to ask for her phone number when she was 16 years old.
She recalled their alleged phone conversations, saying, “I don’t know if he was on drugs or what … It was the weirdest, grossest voice … [But] for me, it’s Jared, you know?”

Another woman accused Leto of hounding her after she turned down a request to attend a party at his Laurel Canyon home.
“[He’d call] always at 1, 2, 3 a.m.,” she alleged. “The conversations turned sexual. He’d ask things like, ‘Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d***?’ He changed — his voice, the way he talked. It scared me. That was the first time I thought, ‘Oh my God, that’s not just in movies.’”
Model Laura La Rue also accused Leto of “flirting” with her when she was 16 years old and he was 36. She said, at age 17, she witnessed Leto allegedly walking into a room completely naked.
“He just walked out, d*** out, like it was normal,” La Rue insisted. “I thought maybe this was just what adult men do.”

Leto’s representatives claimed that La Rue later applied to work as the actor’s personal assistant, which they said highlights “the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.” (La Rue denied seeking work with the actor.)
Other women accused Leto of asking them to spit on his genitals while masturbating in front of them, and inviting underage young girls to parties at his home.
In response to multiple accusations of sexual impropriety, Leto’s representative stressed that “all of the allegations are expressly denied.”
Aside from his busy summer touring schedule with 30 Seconds to Mars, Leto has multiple acting projects in the works. He will return to the big screen on October 10 with a leading role in Disney’s Tron: Ares, where he will play a sophisticated AI program sent into the real world to deliver a dire warning to humanity. (The third film in the Tron series has been in the works since 2010, with Leto initially coming on board in 2017.)
Leto is also attached to the heist film, Lunik Heist, with John Mulaney and Lupita Nyong’o, and has been cast as Skeletor in a live-action reboot of Masters of the Universe, in which he’ll star opposite Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man and Camila Mendes as Teela. (Masters of the Universe will open in theaters on June 5, 2026.)

Johnson, 35, was seen exploring Ibiza, Spain, in a stylish bikini top on Wednesday, July 2. For her outing, the actress, who called off her engagement to Chris Martin last month after eight years together, wore a white top featuring triangle cups finished with halter straps. She styled the look with a low-waisted silky skirt adorned with blue and yellow florals.
Johnson further accessorized with a white baseball cap with a blue rim and a mint green beach bag with a bamboo strap. She tied her look together by styling her long brunette tresses in a braid.
The How to Be Single actress was seen enjoying her vacation with stylist Sophie Lopez, fashion insider Douglas Chabbott and Kate Hudson.
While taking a dip, Johnson showed off her bum in cheeky bikini bottoms.
Hudson, 46, for her part, sizzled in a yellow bikini featuring ruffled triangle cups and coordinating bottoms with bows tied at her hips.
Johnson and Martin, 48, reportedly split in June after previously facing breakup rumors when Johnson was spotted in Los Angeles without her engagement ring in 2024.
In August 2024, Johnson’s rep confirmed to Us Weekly, “The reports are not true. They are happily together.”
Johnson and Martin started dating in December 2017 after his divorce from Gwyneth Paltrow was finalized in July 2016. The Coldplay singer shares two children with Paltrow, 52: daughter Apple, 21, and son Moses, 19.
Since becoming single, Johnson has had a number of sexy looks. Last month, she rocked a naked dress while out and about in New York City, just one day after news broke that she split from the singer.
Her sheer dress featured a black mesh crisscross neckline, long sleeves and a miniskirt complete with a flared hem. Underneath, she gave fans a glimpse of her red lingerie.
