Hugh Grantwas not happy with recent interactions between his family and immigration officers working at London’s Heathrow Airport.
“Just came through Heathrow with wife and children,” Grant, 64, wrote via X on Friday, April 4, referring to spouse Anna Eberstein and their three kids. “We all have the same last name (Grant) on our passports. Immigration officer engages my children in chit chat then whispers to them, ‘Are these your Mum and Dad?’”
The British actor further called the conversation “intrusive, insulting and creepy.”
The Border Force officers, who are employed by the U.K.’s Home Office and not Heathrow, have not publicly addressed the alleged situation. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
Grant and Eberstein, 46, have been married since 2018 and share three children: John, 11, Lulu, 8, and Blue, 6. (Grant also shares eldest children Tabitha and Felix with ex Tinglan Hong.)
“I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named [Lulu], and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was danger, so her name is Lulu Danger Grant,” the Heretic star said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in October 2024 of his kids’ eclectic names. “[Like] Austin Powers.”
According to Grant, he was in a similar state of “panic” when Blue arrived.
“I panicked about names with my wife, so we asked her elder brother [son John Mungo] when she was on the way,” Grant recalled to host Jimmy Kimmel. “‘There’s a new baby on the way, what should we call her?’ And he said Kevin because that was his favorite minion. We did think about calling her Kevin but then we said, ‘You better think of something else.’ So, he said Blue because it was his favorite color.”
During the broadcast, Grant also gave an update on Lulu and Blue’s latest interests.
“Lulu and Blue are too good at Halloween,” he quipped. “You know those twins in The Shining? The little boy’s on his tricycle and the two identical girls say, ‘Come play with us, forever and ever and ever.’ They go from house to house doing that. They look very similar; almost the same size, though they’re different ages.”
Lulu is also a major fan of pop star Taylor Swift, so Grant took her to see the Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in June 2024. (Grant and Lulu watched the concert from the VIP tent next to Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce.)
“She does want to meet Taylor, and I haven’t been able to lay that on for her,” Grant said at the time. “[Then, I did] so many shots with him and his friends. I don’t know who they were; I don’t know what was happening, but I do know that I got to the stage where I could ‘Shake it Off.’”
In honor of The White Lotus season three finale, we’re taking a moment to appreciate one style icon in particular: Jaclyn Lemon. Played by actress Michelle Monaghan, it’s hard to take your eyes off her fashionable ‘fits, but truthfully, it’s her flawless skin we’re after.
The 49-year-old actress told Marie Claire that the Foreo Luna 4 Cleansing Brush is her secret to getting a “good cleanse,” especially after wearing makeup “nonstop from filming.” Since discovering it, she’s been “obsessed” — and it’s easy to see why. Even better, the skincare device is 30% off right now — but only for a limited time.
The Foreo Luna 4 Cleansing Face Brush provides up to 8,000 pulsations per minute, removing dirt, oil and makeup residue more effectively than hands alone. It comes in three iterations to suit various skin types: sensitive skin, balanced skin and combination skin. Each type offers three modes to customize your cleanse.
Use the “gentle” mode for a more soothing cleanse or on areas that are more sensitive. “Deep” mode offers a thorough cleanse that’s ideal for getting rid of pore-clogging bacteria, dirt and oil. Finally, “regular” mode offers a healthy balance between the “gentle” and “deep.”
The Foreo Luna 4 doesn’t just give your skin a good cleanse — it also promotes lymphatic drainage and improves circulation, giving your face a more sculpted, refreshed appearance.
The device has a sleek, ergonomic design that lays comfortably in the hand. Unlike other cleansing tools that are made with nylon-bristled brushes, it features bacteria-resistant silicone, making it much more hygienic.
To use, wet your face and apply your favorite gentle cleanser. Turn on the Foreo Luna 4 and select your intensity. Then, use light, circular motions to cleanse your skin for 60 seconds. If you’re feeling fancy, connect the device to the Foreo app for guided routines and personalized cleanse settings.
There’s never been a better time than the present to snag this luxe skincare device now that it’s 30% off at Amazon. Considering how much money you’ll save on monthly facials, this celeb-approved gadget is a no-brainer buy!
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s tell-all podcast about her respective breakups from Shawn Booth and Jason Tartick seemed to strike a chord with Rachel Lindsay.
“They say there are two sides to every story… but this time, you’re getting HERS. ,” a Thursday, April 3, Instagram caption on Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast page read. “Kaitlyn holds nothing back in this unfiltered tell-all, and we know you’ve been waiting for it. No topic is off-limits. No rumor left unaddressed.”
During the podcast episode, Bristowe, 39, spilled major tea about what led to her respective broken engagements with Booth, 37, and Tartick, 36. She even claimed that Tartick stole her favorite baby name, Teddy, for his new dog’s moniker.
In the Instagram comments, Lindsay, 39, offered her support.
“Good for you for telling your story ,” Lindsay replied. “It gets to a point where you’re like, enough is enough. I’m almost there girl lol.”
Lindsay was married to Bryan Abasolo, whom she met on The Bachelorette season 13, for four years before he filed for divorce in January 2024. Despite a messy legal back-and-forth, Lindsay has seldom spoken out about the downfall of her marriage.
“I’m just trying to get through it,” Lindsay exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024, noting she’s also not ready to date again. “Friends [and] family keep me empowered. I saw this quote the other day about romanticizing life and it was just learning about loving the simple things, whether it’s going on a walk, whether it’s just being thankful for the air that we breathe [or] whether it’s just like laughing with a friend. I’m really holding onto those moments because they give me life.”
Lindsay and Abasolo, 45, finalized their divorce in January 2025, with the former attorney needing to provide her ex-husband alimony payments.
“I don’t really talk about the divorce because [I’m] not sure how I want to roll it all out,” Lindsay said on the Friday, April 4, episode of her “Higher Learning” podcast. “When it comes to spousal support, even child support — but I’m not gonna speak to that because I don’t have children — it is particular to the people that are involved. That goes for their circumstances, and it also goes to what state they reside in.”
According to Lindsay, the chiropractor allegedly was “not deserving” of receiving any spousal support.
“We both made sacrifices in the marriage, and I shouldn’t be punished because I was successful during the time that we were married, and he wasn’t,” she claimed. “I’m truly tired of the narrative of, ‘Well, he’s deserving of the money because he picked up and sacrificed his career for her.’ I’m just gonna say this, and I’m gonna say this once — not true.”
Lindsay further stressed that marriage and relationships are supposed to be “about sacrifice and compromise.”
The Boise State University gymnastics team has reacted to former member Hailey Okula’s sudden death following childbirth complications.
“We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Boise State gymnast Hailey (Gaspar) Okula,” a Friday, April 4, tribute on the team’s Instagram page read. “Okula had an amazing career at Boise State (2010-12) as she garnered two All-WAC first team honors. She also earned three 9.950s on vault and helped the Broncos win the 2011 WAC Championships.”
The statement added, “Following her collegiate career, Okula moved to California and began work as a nurse. She poured her passion of teaching others through her business RN New Grads, helping new nurses thrive. Our thoughts are with her husband and newborn as they navigate this tragic loss.”
Hailey died on March 29 at the age of 33, moments after giving birth to her and husband Matthew Okula’s first baby, son Crew. The social media personality had suffered an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE), which occurs when amniotic fluid enters the mother’s bloodstream and triggers a life-threatening reaction.
“It’s incredibly rare and devastating. Her OBGYN said they were doing everything they could, but it just took over,” Matthew, an engineer with the Los Angeles Fire Department, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, April 4. “I couldn’t wrap my head around it. She was so healthy, everything had gone well, and then suddenly she was gone.”
He added, “Even in the ICU with every specialist — cardiologists, pulmonologists — no one could save her. It was just so fast, and her body was hit with everything at once: heart failure, lung failure, internal bleeding. There’s no treatment protocol for this. It’s just rolling with each complication as it comes and trying to keep the patient alive.”
Hailey and Matthew met during college and eventually got married in 2022. After two years of struggling with infertility, they completed a successful cycle of IVF last year. Hailey announced via Instagram in September 2024 that she was pregnant.
Since Hailey’s sudden passing, Matthew wants to make sure that Crew grows up knowing all about his mother.
“I talk to him about her constantly. I want him to know how amazing she was — how much she’s still doing for us,” Matthew told Us. “He’s going to hear about her all the time. I show him her nursing skits [and] her gymnastics videos. She wasn’t just a brilliant entrepreneur — she was a Division I gymnast, an amazing wife, sister, daughter and friend. She impacted so many people.”
Edwina Findley didn’t cut corners when it came to her role on The Residence.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Findley, 44, explained how she kept track of the show’s flashback scenes, alternative moments and different timelines for her character, Sheila.
“That was extremely complicated to do. That took an incredible amount of technique for me. Literally, I created over 100 pages of research of preparation specifically for Sheila,” Findley recalled. “Then there was probably another 20 pages or maybe 30 of just untangling the timelines and what happens when and in what version.”
“It’s untangling what part of this is the truth and what part of this is a lie. Then what are the alternate endings of these various stories? So that definitely was a marathon for me as an actor to put it all together,” she shared. “I started going to AA meetings. I started reading the whole big book of AA. I started watching documentaries — and it was very important to me to get it right.”
Findley specifically pointed out the way Sheila’s alcohol consumption played out on screen, adding, “If she had one sip at 9 p.m. and then a whole bottle at 3 a.m. then what’s happening in her body? What’s happening in her mind? What is she seeing? What is she hearing? How is it affecting her relationship with the truth? That’s already a tenuous relationship to begin with.”
Inspired by The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House by Kate Andersen Brower, the eight-part Netflix series premiered in March and followed renowned detective Cordelia Cupp (Uzo Aduba) as she was tasked with finding out who was responsible for the Chief Usher A.B. Wynter’s (Giancarlo Esposito) death at the White House.
Jessica Brooks/Netflix
Findley’s character, Sheila, was one of the suspects but was ultimately exonerated. The major evidence that stacked up against Sheila was her dependency on alcohol.
“That was extremely important for me because as an actor [to portray properly]. It’s really your job to take your character’s side. It’s your job to represent your character with authenticity and truth and compassion,” the actress told Us. “It was extremely important to create a multidimensional and authentic human being. And a part of that was leaning into creating a backstory around that. So I loved that the show created these beautiful vulnerable monologues for her. You see the big Sheila and you see her being the star of her own story.”
Findley continued: “And in the privacy of her own mind, she thinks she is the heir apparent to the First lady. But she’s struggling because there are protocols and there’s a way that you’re supposed to do things in the White House. Obviously she butts up against all of that because a part of her spirit is trying to be free.”
While reflecting on the role, Findley called the opportunity a “full circle manifestation moment” after her own connection to the White House.
“I have been very passionate about telling the stories of real people in Washington D.C to the point where I was creating my own whole show around it,” she revealed. “Suddenly to get this script from Shondaland set around the White House and depicting very real characters — maids and butlers and housekeepers and ushers and florists — where it wasn’t really about the president, it was about all these regular people. That upstairs, downstairs dynamic was really exciting and it was just an honor to be able to tell that story.”
“I remember I used to live tweet with the cast during Scandal,” she recalled. “Those monologues were just such a dream. Just hearing the words and letting them wash over me. And so to be a part of The Residence now, sign me up. This is an actor’s dream.”
Findley is holding out hope that The Residence is the first of many collaborations with Rhimes, 55, saying, “Let’s just put that out there. I would still love to do Bridgeton!”
Barack Obama needed to reprioritize his marriage to Michelle Obama in the wake of his two-term presidency.
“Look, I was in a deep deficit with my wife, so I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things,” Barack, 63, quipped during a Thursday, April 3, conversation at Hamilton College.
Barack and Michelle, 61, have been married since 1992 after meeting a decade earlier during their early legal careers in Chicago. The pair went on to welcome daughters Malia and Sasha in 1998 and 2001, respectively. Seven years after Sasha completed the family, Barack was elected president of the United States. He served two consecutive terms, leaving the office in 2016.
During his Thursday speech, Barack opened up about how he spends his free time since exiting the White House.
“Well, right now, at the moment, I’m splitting time between the work for the foundation,” he said. “Michelle and I set up the Obama Foundation to train the next generation of leaders here in the United States and around the world, and that keeps me busy.”
“In case any of you feel sorry for yourself, this is, like, 50 term papers,” he joked to the crowd of college students. “I mean, it just goes on forever. But people ask me, ‘Do you enjoy writing?’ I say, ‘Absolutely not,’ but I do enjoy having written when it’s finished. I’m hoping to get to the finish line on that.”
Barack also offered insight into his home life with Michelle and their daughters, joking that he “constantly” loses arguments to all three women.
“I constantly lose arguments to my wife, my daughters,” Barack joked. “They mock me and ridicule me at the dinner table.”
According to Barack, daughters Malia, 27, and Sasha, 23, also frequently remind him about their differences — like their respective technology proficiencies.
“They didn’t get their first phones, and they constantly remind me of this, until they were 13 and 10 [or] 14 and 11, and they’re still in their 20s,” Barack recalled. “I mean, that’s how recent these changes have happened. As profound as that technology has been, AI will be more impactful.”
Since leaving the Oval Office, Barack has frequently gushed about his marriage.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama,” he wrote via social media in January. “You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace — and you look good doing it. I’m so lucky to be able to take on life’s adventures with you. Love you!”
Michelle reposted her spouse’s tribute via X, writing, “Love you, honey!”

“She is very much a role model for me. I did love Grey’s Anatomy and I never told her because I didn’t want to weird her out,” Reid, 27, exclusively told Us Weekly. “But I really loved working alongside Ellen so much.”
Reid, who plays Natalia Grace, “learned so much” sharing the screen with Pompeo, 55, adding, “I remember there was a time on set where as an actor you have to get into your right mark and I was confused. Ellen asked the cameraman to turn over the camera for me so I could actually see what I was doing. That was a real learning moment for me — it was like I was really being taught there.”
Pompeo’s costar was thankful for the support on her first TV acting job.
“She always taught me that I could have a voice and that I could speak up,” Reid continued. “For my first job I was shy, I was a bit intimidated and she always made me feel so comfortable. It was just a real gift for me to have somebody like her to learn from. These things that she’s taught me, I’ll always take with me to each job that I do.”
Good American Family, which is currently airing on Hulu, is a scripted true crime series inspired by Natalia Grace, who made headlines when she was adopted by Kristine and Michael Barnett as a child only to accuse them of abandoning her. Pompeo plays Kristine, which marks her first role since being cast as Meredith on ABC’s long-running medical drama.

Reid was thankful for the support she felt on set after previously appearing as a body double on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and HBO’s The Third Day.
“I was so nervous about taking on a speaking role to begin with and being a lead. I really thought, ‘Can I take this on?’ Because it’s a lot of pressure, but the thing that helped me through it is I thought, ‘I’m a little person, I can tell this [story],'” Reid, who also has a form of dwarfism, Reid. “I had an incredible cast that I knew was going to guide me and I wasn’t wrong. So I was in very good hands.”
Reid broke down the extra work that went into playing Grace, sharing, “Disney helped so much. They actually hooked me up with an acting coach and I actually had an incredible movement coach as well that helped me figure out Natalia’s movement.”
She continued, “It was very early on when I decided that I wanted to portray my own version of Natalia. So through this, we found the movement in my own body that felt genuine but not imitating Natalia as we have different types of dwarfism. That was something that was really important to me. There was also an incredible dialect coach who helped me with the American accent and all of this just really helped portray my character.”

While reflecting on the opportunity, Reid expressed gratitude to her costars. (Good American Family also stars Mark Duplass, Sarayu Blue, Dulé Hill, Jenny O’Hara, Kim Shaw and Christina Hendricks.)
“Something that I never really dabbled in is the amount of acting choices they would each make. Ellen would always talk about choices and this was something that I did do ut I think I could have delved in more,” Reid shared with Us. “Also just how professional they all are and how they can step into a character so quickly [is something I learned]. It was mesmerizing learning from Christina, Sarayu, Dulé, Mark and Ellen. And even though I may have been the lead, they were the leads for me. I learned from them and it was just so amazing to do.”
New episodes of Good American Family air Wednesdays on Hulu.
Elton Johnfinds his recent eyesight loss to be “distressing.”
“I can see you, but I can’t see TV, I can’t read,” John, 78, told a Times of London reporter in a profile published on Friday, April 4. “I can’t see my boys playing rugby and soccer, and it has been a very stressful time because I’m used to soaking it all up.”
He added, “It’s distressing. You get emotional, but you have to get used to it because I’m lucky to have the life I have. I still have my wonderful family, and I can still see something out of [my left eye]. So you say to yourself, ‘Just get on with it.’”
John — who shares sons Zachary, 14, and Elijah, 12, with husband David Furnish — lost most of his eyesight in 2024 after an eye infection.
“I had an infection in the South of France,” John said on Good Morning America in November 2024. “It’s been four months since I haven’t been able to see, and my left eye’s not the greatest. I’m, kind of, stuck in the moment.”
At the time, John wasn’t sure if he’d be able to continue making music.
“I can’t see a lyric, for start. We’re taking an initiative to try and get it better, but at the moment, that’s really what we’re concentrating on,” John revealed on GMA. “It’s never fortunate for anything like this to happen. It kinda floored me, and I can’t see anything. I can’t read anything, I can’t watch anything.”
John, luckily, could continue performing. His newest album, Who Believes in Angels?, is a collaboration with Brandi Carlile and dropped on Friday.
“I knew her because I had bought her album and she’s the most remarkable singer, so I said, ‘Absolutely, but you’ll have to come to Vegas because I’m stuck here.’ We became friends and I took an interest in where she was going,” John told The Times. “I even bought her an electric guitar. People thought Who Believes in Angels? would be Americana, laid-back. No. It’s upbeat and rocking.”
According to John, he didn’t always agree with his fellow songwriters.
“They stood up to me and I got frustrated, but it’s no good working with ‘yes people.’ If I want to make a great album aged 76 or 77, I’ve got to be told and they put up with my little foibles, which were really about anxiety, self-doubt and not feeling very well at the time,” John said. “I was tired, so I thought, ‘I’m going to abandon this. ‘The problem was three other people were involved, and I knew that if I walked away from it, I would hate myself for the rest of my life.”
“I always said I wanted to die on stage. Now I want my gravestone to read, ‘He was a great dad,’” John stated. “My career has been wonderful, but the kids are what matters.”
According to John, he and his husband are focused on “making sure” Zachary and Elijah will be alright.
“We’re making sure they’re OK, making sure they’re appreciative and not spoiling them too much because, you know, I’m Elton John,” the singer concluded.
At 58 years old, it’s safe to say Halle Berry is basically aging backwards. The actress, director and former model looks youthful as ever because before skincare was trendy, she was using her facial scrub, hydration mask and moisturizer. So if you, too, hope to defy the laws of aging like the beloved Halle Berry, here’s how to recreate her skincare routine at home.
Cleansing Brush: She starts the day by opening up her pores using a Finishing Touch Scrubber. She considers it to be one of her many “youthful skin secrets,” according to Prevention, because it “penetrates the sensitive skin” on her face and neck.
Lip Mask: She pairs her collagen face mask with a Knesko Amethyst Hydrate Lip Mask. Not only does it hydrate and moisturize your lips, but it also makes them appear more plump and youthful. It’s definitely worth 15 minutes.
Overnight Treatment: Berry largely attributes her youthful look to Olga Lorencin Ageless Facial in a Box, in addition to adhering to a healthy diet, according to Yahoo! Life. It can be applied at night to smooth out wrinkles and to add a little extra life to your complexion.
Hair Mask: Although it isn’t for her face, Berry keeps her hair looking soft and lively with Virtue Hair Mask. It was yet another one of her favorite products of 2023, that she still likely uses today.
5 Moisturizers and Serums Halle Uses For Rejuvenation
Healing Serum: For stressed out skin, she considers Olga Lorencin Healing Serum to be a total game-changer. “You’re going to need this for your face,” she told WhoWhatWear.
You put this on, you wake up, you’ve got a new face. It happens to me every morning.
Hyaluronic Acid: Berry told ELLE Canada she likes Tatcha Hyaluronic Acid Mist because of how it makes her face feel after getting a full face of makeup: “I was skeptical the first time he wanted to spray it on top of my freshly applied makeup,” she said. “But now I can’t live without the natural dewy effect it creates.”
Hydrating Serum: She tells Prevention that Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum is “that good good,” because it adds moisture and helps shed dead skin. “It continues to slough off the dry and dead skin,” she explains, “always leaving leaving your most fresh skin on the surface so you can apply cosmetics better.”
Lifting Serum: Described as “anti-gravity,” the Knesko Nanogold Repair Serum lifts and firms skin. Berry told Marie Claire she uses it at night.
Lucas Bravo is giving Us fans a brief update on his return to Emily in Paris season 5.
“We’re starting filming in May,” Bravo, 37, told Parade at the Thursday, April 4, opening night of the Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck. “I think it’s the best season so far.”
Bravo has played Gabriel (a.k.a. the hot chef) on all four seasons of Emily in Paris, which was created by Sex and the City exec Darren Star. Gabriel is one of the on-off love interests of the titular Emily (Lily Collins) when she relocates from Chicago to Paris for work. At the end of season 4, Emily temporarily moved to Rome to head the new Italian division of her luxury marketing agency — with new love interest Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini) by her side.
“I had lunch with Darren a few days back, and he told me a bit without telling me too much,” Bravo quipped on Thursday. “I think fans are going to lose it. It’s the craziest one so far.”
While the French actor teased his excitement to return to Emily in Paris, he played coy when Parade asked whether he’d have any special set visitors.
“Will Shailene [Woodley] be joining you on set at all?” the reporter asked, referring to the recent speculation that the 33-year-old actress is seeing Bravo romantically. (Neither Woodley nor Bravo have addressed the rumors, though Bravo told People on Thursday that he was “really happy.”)
With a laugh, Bravo replied, “Who? I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
While Bravo’s Gabriel has been a fan-favorite character on the Netflix hit, the actor hasn’t always felt the same.
“Life is short. It takes five months to shoot this series. Do I want to sacrifice them by telling something that does not stimulate me?” Bravo told France’s Le Figaro newspaper in October 2024, hinting he was mulling whether to return for season 5. “I do not want to be a part of a cog that does not tend to take the intelligence of viewers into consideration.”
Bravo stressed at the time that he wanted to see Gabriel have more “panache.”
“I don’t really have any freedom,” he stated. “And as people are starting to give it to me elsewhere, I am getting a taste for it.”
That same month, Bravo told IndieWire that he had grown “apart” from the character.
“The ‘sexy chef’ was very much part of me in season 1 and we grew apart season after season because of the choices he makes and because of the direction they make him take,” Bravo explained in October 2024. “I’ve never been so far away from him.”
There’s never been a better time to be a TV fan. Gone are the days of “57 channels and nothin’ on”; now, there are (at least) 500 channels, and everything good is streaming at once. It can be hard sometimes to decide which show is worth a binge and which series deserves a hard pass.
That’s where Watch with Us comes in. We’re on the frontlines of pop culture and know a good show when we see one. The following is a carefully curated list of quality shows to watch on streamers such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and more. This week’s new shows to stream include The Bondsman with Kevin Bacon, Netflix’s medical drama Pulse and Hulu’s dramedy Dying for Sex with Michelle Williams.

The third season of The White Lotus has continued the dramedy’s tradition of ensemble casts full of talented, well-known actors. The lead actors are listed below:
What Is ‘The White Lotus’ Cast Saying About the Season 3 Finale?
The finale of The White Lotus has been shrouded in mystery. Producer David Bernad mentioned to THR that the creative team “Wrote crazy fake endings that we distributed on set.” Only the actors know what happens, and some of them are still waiting to be surprised. “I’m just excited to watch the finale with the rest of the world,” says Schwarzenegger. “I actually have no idea what happens.”
Posey says she found the finale script “so stressful” to read that she “forgot who died.”
Gries urges viewers to expect the unexpected. “Whatever you think you know, you’re going to get it wrong.”
Fans who are hoping for a happy ending seem doomed to be disappointed. Le Bon summed it up succinctly, predicting, “People are going to hate Mike White.”
White himself confirmed that the ending is tragic, adding, “My hope is that it’ll feel like a cathartic sad or a satisfying sad and not a ‘What the f—?’ sad, but people are going to have a million different opinions.”
What’s Been Happening This Season?
Fabio Lovino/HBO
Season 3 has been a slow but intense burn of sex, violence and secrets for all the guests and staff at The White Lotus.
The Ratliff family is on the brink of financial ruin, and no one knows except for patriarch Timothy. The disgraced businessman has been alternating between sneaking gulps of his wife Victoria’s missing Lorazepam and imagining shooting himself and various members of his family. (The gun Timothy stole from Gaitok was reclaimed in a previous episode, so he no longer has the means to shoot anyone.)
Meanwhile, Ratliff brothers Saxon and Lochlan are recovering from the drunken, incestuous threesome they shared with Chloe, Gary/Greg’s girlfriend. Chloe proposed another hookup, this time involving Gary, to Saxon, who declined and is trying to get closer to Chelsea. Lochlan, eager to escape his guilt and shame about the encounter, told his sister Piper that he was considering joining her at the Buddhist monastery, an idea that Piper was less than enthusiastic about.
Lifelong friends Laurie, Jaclyn, and Kate are all at odds after the revelation that Jaclyn slept with yoga instructor Valentin. Laurie responded by hooking up with Alexei, ultimately getting chased out of the Russian’s apartment by his angry girlfriend and spotting some jewelry stolen from the hotel.
Gaitok also put together the pieces about the robbery after spotting Alexei and Valentin at a Muay Thai fight he was attending with Mook. Meanwhile, their tentative romance seems doomed after he told Mook that he did not want to seek a promotion and become a bodyguard because of his devotion to the Buddhist principle of non-violence. Mook was disappointed, saying, “I thought you were more ambitious.”
Rick confronted Jim Hollinger, whom he believes murdered his father, and appeared to reach some kind of epiphany. But he left his devoted girlfriend Chelsea worrying about him at the hotel, and in spite of herself, Chelsea appears to be growing closer to Saxon.
Belinda sat down with “Gary,” who confirmed that he was Tanya’s (Jennifer Coolidge) husband Greg, but fled Italy after her suspicious death. He told Belinda that he had nothing to do with it, and offered her $100,000 for her silence about his identity. Belinda’s son Zion thinks she should take the money, but she has not yet decided what to do…
Will There Be a Season 4 of ‘The White Lotus’?
Fabio Lovino/HBO
The White Lotus has already been greenlit for a fourth season, but White says it might take a little longer for the next one to grace our screens. We were supposed to start scouting [for a location for Season 4] in April, and I was like, ‘You guys, I haven’t been home in three years.’”
It sounds like White is hoping to take a well-deserved rest before embarking on the next White Lotus voyage.
“Biggest NFL predictions of the season, man,” Compton, 35, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting VICE TV’s docuseriesThe Grudge. “I think the Chiefs don’t make the playoffs.”
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has taken the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl for the past three years, and they even won the big game in 2023 and 2024. (The Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles this past February.)
Compton, for his part, has some history with the Chiefs alongside podcast cohost Taylor Lewan. The duo interviewed tight end Travis Kelce in June 2024 — and yes, his relationship with Taylor Swift was discussed.
“There’s a good song and dance that happens in the conversation,” Compton explained to Us when asked about interviewing athletes and having to bring up their personal lives. “Guys will sit with us and tell us stories that they might not necessarily tell in the locker room, in front of a camera or to a reporter or to any other big media company, but they’ll sit down with us.”
Both Compton and Lewan are retired NFL players themselves and have used “Bussin’ With the Boys” to “bring the locker room to life” with their podcast.
“For me, you end up finding a lane within the humor or within something else to bring up a harder question, so that we’re not just going in reading off of a card,” Compton continued. “You might say something humorous that happened throughout the season involving Taylor and be like, ‘Do you ever get sick of the storytelling you have to do with yourself and Taylor Swift?’ From there, I might bring out a different story with Travis to where he’s talking about Taylor Swift, and I’m just using that as an example — I don’t even know if that happened — but that’s the mindset.”
This week, retired Carolina Panthers player Luke Kuechly appeared on “Bussin’ With the Boys.” According to Compton, stories were shared that “people haven’t necessarily heard” before.
Aside from the podcast — which just signed a major deal with FanDuel following five years at Barstool Sports — Compton is celebrating his new gig with VICE TV. The podcaster is “ecstatic” to be narrating the network’s The Grudge docuseries, which is all about some of the biggest rivalries in sports history.
“I’ve always had a weird obsession, any time a movie trailer comes on, trying to mimic the voice and have fun with my voice,” he told Us. “Elevate it, bring it up, bring it down, play with it. The fact that they wanted me to be on their docuseries was all-time.”
New episodes of The Grudge premiere on VICE TV Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
Cleansing can be a powerful tool for not only weight loss but your overall health. It can be especially beneficial for women over 40 because of a slower metabolism, hormonal changes and just an overall need to detoxify the body after more than four decades. As a Certified Nutritionist Consultant, I found cleansing and detoxification to be very effective when I recommended them to my clients.
There are many different ways to cleanse the body and some can help jumpstart your weight loss results. While they are not an end-all solution and should go along with healthy nutrition and exercise for lasting results, it is realistic to expect a few pounds of weight loss in your first week! Weight loss results for each cleanse are only estimates and will depend on several factors including age, activity level, metabolism, preexisting medical conditions, genetics and dietary choices. Whatever you do, stay hydrated and make sure you get enough electrolytes!
7 of the Best Weight Loss Cleanses for Women Over 40
1. Herbal and Tea Cleanses:Herbal detox teas can aid digestion, reduce bloating, boost metabolism and cleanse the body. While you may not see immediate weight loss, it will help improve your body’s functions like digestion, liver and kidney function. Traditional Medicinals Organic EveryDay Detox Tea and FitTea 14-Day Detox Tea are the two options I’ve tested and recommend.
Estimated Weight Loss: One to three pounds in a week (mostly water weight)
2. Colon Cleanses: I know it can sometimes be a taboo subject, but your colon health is extremely important. While the figures about having 20 pounds of fecal matter stuck in your colon are exaggerated, doing a colon cleanse can help eliminate built-up waste, reduce bloating, and improve digestion. They also make your body more efficient at absorbing and processing food. I’ve done a few of these cleanses and the most effective one I found is Health Plus Super Colon Cleanse.
Estimated Weight Loss: Two to six pounds over a few days
3. Protein and Gut Health Cleanse: Protein is essential for preserving muscle mass and keeping your metabolism active, especially for women over 40. Whenever I am dieting, adding a protein shake is a great way to keep my hunger at bay while not adding a lot of calories. By using a metabolic detox protein powder, it can help you lose weight and cleanse your gut by combining vegan protein, vitamins, minerals, flax seed and healthy fats.
Estimated Weight Loss: Three to seven pounds in 14-21 days
4. Whole Food Cleanses: In general, you should emphasize eating whole and minimally processed foods in your diet. However, that is sometimes easier said than done in our busy lives. By doing a whole food cleanse, it will help reset eating habits, lose weight and promote long-term health.
While you can certainly buy and cook all your food, having a meal delivery service like Unity can help take the guesswork out of meal prepping. At $5.55 per meal for your first box, it’s a great way to cleanse your body, lose weight and save money on eating out. Check out the under 600 calories section!
Estimated Weight Loss: Five to 10 pounds in 14-21 days
5. Juice Cleanses:Juice cleanses involve consuming only fruit and vegetable juices for a set period, allowing the digestive system to rest and aiding in detoxification. While juicing your own fruits and vegetables at home or at a juice bar is ideal, I recommend pre-made cold-pressed options for added convenience like the three day cleanses from Suja Organic or Raw Fountain.
Estimated Weight Loss: Three to eight pounds in three to five days
6. Fruit Cleanses:Fruit cleanses are effective because they focus on consuming a variety of fruits that are rich in fiber, antioxidants, and water content, which help detoxify the body, improve digestion, and support weight loss. When I was in college, one of my teachers was fitness and nutrition guru, Jay Robb, who recommended a three-day fruit flush to help jumpstart your body into weight loss.
Estimated Weight Loss: Three pounds in three days (according to Jay Robb)
7. Intermittent Fasting Cleanses: Intermittent fasting is a type of eating schedule that switches between fasting and feeding windows (like the 16/8 method). It can support metabolism and balance hormones, which is particularly helpful for women over 40. Fasting can help you lose weight, detoxify the body and offers many other health benefits, according to Hopkins Medicine.
While fasting doesn’t require anything but eating or not eating, there are supplements like fasting electrolyte powder that support hydration and replenish electrolytes without breaking your fast with excessive calories.
Estimated Weight Loss: Five to 12 pounds in 30 days (if paired with healthy eating)
Tips for Success With Any Cleanse
Consult your doctor: If you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns, it’s always best to consult with a healthcare provider before starting a new cleanse. This is especially important if you plan on fasting or making extreme dietary changes.
Eat whole foods post-cleanse: After completing a juice, fruit or other type of cleanse, it is a good idea to reintroduce whole, nutrient-dense foods like vegetables, lean proteins and healthy fats to support long-term health.
Avoid processed foods: During and after a cleanse, try to limit your intake of processed foods, refined sugars and artificial additives.
Listen to your body: If you feel lightheaded, fatigued or ill during a cleanse, consider taking a break or consulting with a healthcare provider.
Exercise gently: Incorporate light exercise such as walking, yoga or stretching to support your body’s detoxification process and enhance weight loss.
Note
As someone who recommended cleansing during my nutritional counseling days and has done cleanses myself, they can be quite uncomfortable. Depending on the type of cleanse, you may experience some negative side effects like:
Many of these cleanses will help you lose weight, but remember that eating at a caloric deficit and exercising regularly will give you the greatest long-term weight loss results.
Netflix’s medical drama Pulse sucked viewers in with an unconventional love triangle — but could Nia and Tom end up together?
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Ash Santos shared her thoughts, saying, “It felt so fresh to me. I am kind of like that in my personal life where as you get older, you realize most men are literally just [meh]. So you’re like, ‘If you like me, great. If you don’t like me, even better.'”
Santos, 31, called it “refreshing” that her character, Nia, didn’t fight with Cass (Jessica Rothe) over Tom (Jack Bannon). Instead, each woman created boundaries as Tom found himself conflicted — and later in trouble over his relationship with Nia.
“[Now] there’s even more of a pull between Nia and Cass. So I like that,” Santos continued. “Toward the end of the first season, you realize because things are so natural between [Jack and I] that it makes you root for Nia and Tom.”
Pulse, which is streaming now, follows the personal and professional lives of doctors and staff at a busy Miami trauma center as they navigate medical crises and personal drama. The show initially hinted that season 1 would track Tom’s romance with Nia, but it turned out he was also hooking up with Cass.
“If we get a second season — if we keep this going — you can see them going the distance,” Santos told Us. “Because there isn’t that forced tension that might be there with him and other characters or in the other love triangles or love schemes. It just felt really natural.”
The situation got complicated though when Nia, a paramedic, became a patient at the hospital. At that point, Tom supervising Nia’s care created a lot of issues, as doctors aren’t allowed to be involved with their patients.
“It will obviously be difficult. It won’t be without its trials,” Santos continued. “They naturally bring out a side of each other that they’ve never had. I think Nia really grounds Tom and she brings him to a place that he’s never been before. She’s also a type of woman that he’s never been with before.”
She continued: “He’s the same for her. It’s just nice that he’s this refreshing, bold and really ambitious person. Also, they just bring out this humorous side of each other and they just can’t help but be drawn to each other. Couples like that, despite how hard things get, usually end up making it.”
While season 1 mostly kept Nia confined to her hospital bed, Santos is hoping to see that change with a potential renewal, adding, “It made it kind of difficult. I realized acting-wise I didn’t have my usual tools of using my body and the space. So that was a fun challenge, and I feel like I grew in that way.”
Santos noted that Nia has already been through so much onscreen growth, and this is just the beginning.
“She started off scrappy, ambitious, hungry and unafraid,” she shared. “I am so excited to keep hopefully stepping into her shoes and bringing more out of her, because that was what drew me to her.”

As Carly Pearce prepares to turn 35, the country singer is proud to say she’s putting herself first.
“I feel in every way — no matter if it’s the kind of music that I’m making or how I spend my days in my personal life — I’m choosing me,” Pearce, 34, exclusively shared in the new issue of Us Weekly. “For the first time, I’m totally doing things 100 percent the way that I want to, and I’m in my single era and kind of loving it for the first time in my life.”
Whether performing around the world for her Hummingbird tour or gearing up for a return to the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California, on Friday, April 25, the “What He Didn’t Do” singer continues to live out her music dreams.
She also can believe how many fans she has inspired by creating honest and vulnerable songs.
“I never imagined that people would connect with my songwriting in the way that they have,” she told Us. “I always felt like I was a personal songwriter, but until I wrote my album, 29: Written in Stone, I just had no idea how much being vulnerable was going to be an asset of mine and a strength.”
“I don’t take for granted that people come to my shows to feel understood,” Pearce continued, “and I write music so that maybe I can help myself feel understood. It’s a really amazing thing.”
In between tour stops, we asked Pearce to Make Us a Mixtape of some of her favorite songs. Keep reading to see the tracks that left a lasting impact on her heart.
Song That Reminds Carly of Her Childhood:
Per Ole Hagen/Redferns
“Cowboy Take Me Away” by The Chicks. I think I was in elementary school just dreaming of singing country music. I was probably playing my first talent show with that song.
Song That Carly Sings in the Car When No One Is Watching:
I feel like any Shania Twain song. We’ll go with “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” Everybody knows that one.
Song That Makes Carly Cry:
There are so many! I’m gonna say “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room” [by John Mayer]. There’s something so heartbreaking about that song. I think it’s just the idea of the realization that the relationship is slowly dying the way that he wrote it. As a songwriter, it’s a song that I wish I would have written.
Song That Reminds Carly of Summertime:
Jason Kempin/Getty Images for the Grand Ole Opry
Anything Kenny Chesney, but I’ll specifically say “Anything But Mine.” I love him. He’s so good live.
Song by One of Carly’s Idols That Always Inspires Her:
“Jolene” by Dolly Parton because it’s so honest, so vulnerable and so iconic.
I don’t know if it’s a first date. Maybe you’re just really feeling the first date, but I think one of the most romantic, hottest songs is “Violins” by Amos Lee. You’re probably making out at that point.
Song That Gets Carly and Everyone Around Her Dancing:
Oh, I know it works for my tour bus full of married men. It has to be “Formation” by Beyoncé. It is something, I promise.

There’s no denying that you can get nearly anything you want on Amazon (within reason). In fact, you can even buy a brand-new car! However, there’s an entire category of products that some people might find…well, a little strange. From self-stirring mugs to taco-shaped sleeping bags, these quirky items can add a dash of humor and surprise to your life! Here’s a rundown of some of the weird, wacky, and downright funny things you can buy on Amazon.
1. Flush Money Down the Toilet: My parents used to always tell me I was flushing money down the toilet when I’d make dumb financial decisions. Now you literally can do that (albeit with fake money printed on toilet paper). If money isn’t your thing, there are designs with presidents, animals, or quirky sayings that people love.
3. Fry Fanatic: Speaking of fries, I know I’m not the only one who digs into the McDonald’s bag on the way home to munch on some fries. Now you take your fry-eating game to the next level with a French fry cup holder. This one even has a holder for sauces! The fry holder might also prevent you from finding a fry underneath your seat when you vacuum your car.
4. Popular Pop: When the popular soft drink brand asked “Wouldn’t you like to be a pepper too?” in their 1980s ad campaign, I imagine they were not thinking about candles! Well, now your candle can smell like delicious soda with this fragrant Dr. Pepper candle!
5. Let’s Taco Bout it: This adorable taco sleeping bag blanket is a fun and hilarious addition to sleepovers, parties, camping and car trips. It makes a great gift too!
6. Meat Mincers: Unlock your inner Wolverine with these meat claws. Now you can slice, dice, or shred any type of meat that you want. Keep these away from children, of course, but these are perfect for the grill master in your home!
7. Taco Toaster: One issue with tacos is how easily they fall apart. Using the original Taco Toaster, you can get a nice crisp on your tortilla so it can hold the filling a bit easier. It’s as simple as putting the tortilla in the holder and inserting it into a toaster.
8. Cheesy Covers: These finger covers are perfect for gamers or anyone who can’t stand getting Cheetos dust on their fingers (myself included!) You might not get to lick your fingers after but it’s a small price to pay for easier cleanup!
9. Phone Prison: There’s no denying that many of us are addicted to our phones. With this phone lock-up cage, you can make family night a phone-free affair. These are mostly a gag gift, as they tend to be easily opened (especially by eager teenagers). If you really want to lock up a cell phone, get a real safe.
10. Hyundai (yes, really): As a former automotive editor/journalist and lifelong car enthusiast, being able to avoid a sleazy salesman at a dealership is a godsend. Now, Amazon lets you buy a brand-new Hyundai in the comfort of your home and avoid getting upsold on extended warranties at the dealer.
11. Cute as a Bug: I’m a big fan of keeping my desktops nice and clean using a mini vacuum. Now you can do it with this ladybug mini vacuum that cleans crumbs off desks while being adorable!
12. Self-Stirrer: It’s crazy that we’ve gotten to the point where we have self-stirring mugs but here we are! For those who don’t feel like being hassled with a spoon or stirrer, this mug does the job automatically. However, it is a pretty good idea for hot cocoa where the chocolate drops to the bottom of the cup!
13. Spinning Spaghetti: Mainly for the young ones, this fork with a motor spins your spaghetti for you, ensuring a perfectly twirled bite every time. Now more messy spaghetti face photos for this kid!
14. Brand Your Bread: Have you ever wanted a picture of Bob Ross branded onto a piece of toast? No? Just me? Well, now that’s a reality with this branding toaster. Also available in Hello Kitty, Snoopy and Darth Vader!
15. Sushi Socks: While there are countless cute socks with brands like Oreo and Coca-Cola, we love these hilarious sushi socks! Comes in a cute little sushi box and features salmon, tuna and cucumber rolls.
16. Cat Chase: If you have any feline friends in the house, a laser cat toy is a must-have. The toy projects a laser that cats love to chase and leads to endless entertainment (and probably some funny videos).
17. Bathroom Book: Here’s a guest book specifically for people to leave notes in your bathroom, turning it into a quirky, interactive experience. I’m not so sure about this one due to cleanliness, but at least 2,000 other shoppers thought it was a good idea!
18. Hold My Beer: Do you enjoy a cold one while taking a bath or shower? If so, then you need this small, suction-cup beer holder that attaches to the shower wall. It might seem a bit weird, but at least it’s better than having an electrical cord from a coffee maker next to your tub like Kristen Bell!
19. Inflatable Unicorn Horn for Cats: Here’s a comically small inflatable unicorn horn that fits on your cat’s head, making them look both regal and ridiculous. I’m guilty of being a crazy cat man and I’m definitely getting this from my cat! He might not like it but at least I get some amusement, right?
20. Cactus Cleaner: Add a little bit of vibrant Mexican culture to your home with this pretty cactus soap and lotion dispenser. Gives a nice rustic vibe with shades of green, beige and pink.
21. Precipitation Protector: Live in a rainy town and don’t want to pull out an umbrella every time it rains? Use this umbrella hat instead! This might be a bit more of a gag gift due to its bright colors but don’t knock it until you rock it!
22. Burrito Blanket: When I wrap myself in our beige blanket, my wife says I look like a burrito. Now I can look exactly like one with this burrito blanket. It’s a large, round blanket that looks like a giant tortilla, making your dreams of being a human burrito a reality.
23. Pastry Pillow: If tortillas aren’t your thing, how about a giant bread loaf pillow? This can go great on its own or with the taco or burrito blanket. This one doesn’t smell like freshly baked bread, but it sure looks the part!
24. Bacon Bandages: Hmm…bacon. You won’t want to eat this bacon bandage but if you put this on your wounds, who knows what people will think? Just don’t be surprised if you get “interesting” looks!
25. Dinosaur Dog: Check out this hilarious inflatable dinosaur costume that fits over your dog, making it look like it’s walking around as a mini T-Rex. This one’s only for smaller dogs, so check sizing before you buy!
26. Large Lollipop: This massive lollipop looks like it belongs at a carnival but is sold as a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth and a sense of humor. Somebody call a dentist!
27. Portable Pizza Pouch: I’m all for eating on the go but this is getting ridiculous! This small, clear plastic pouch lets you carry a slice of pizza around your neck for easy snacking on the go.
28. Plant Protector: If you’re anything like my wife, you forget to water our plants from time to time! These self-watering planters will water your plants for you and are perfect for those who tend to forget their plants exist until they’re wilted.
29. Popular Pancakes: Bring some joy into the kitchen with this nonstick emoji frying pan that leaves different emojis on your mini pancakes. Features seven different emojis and cooks perfectly shaped pancakes in minutes!
30. Toilet Golf: Got a few extra minutes on the toilet? Why not improve your golf game with this toilet-side mini golf set? Don’t forget to use the included do-not-disturb door hanger for maximum concentration!
One year after embarking on a health and fitness journey, Big Brother’s Derek Frazier is proud of how far he’s come.
“I feel amazing about my progress,” Frazier, 33, exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “I have lost 72 pounds so far. For the first time, I am actually seeing fat turn into muscle. But this journey has been about so much more than fitness. It has been about putting myself first — mentally and emotionally.”
In addition to changing his eating habits and visiting the gym six or seven days a week, Frazier cut back on his social life by not partying and drinking every weekend in Philadelphia.
“For so long, I was focused on everyone else and not taking care of myself,” he shared with Us. “This past year has been all about becoming a better version of me, especially at 33. I want the reality TV world to give big and plus-size people a real chance to compete on physical shows because we can still show up and perform just like anyone else.”
Fans met Frazier when he competed on season 23 of Big Brother in 2021. He was a member of The Cookout alliance, which included Xavier Prather, Azah Awasum, Kyland Young, Hannah Chaddha and Tiffany Mitchell.

The group, which formed on day one with the goal in mind to crown Big Brother’s first Black winner, defied expectations when they all made it to the final six.
During the finale, Prather, 30, was crowned the winner, while Frazier earned second place.
Since appearing on the CBS competition series, Frazier has expressed disappointment that he has not had an opportunity to do more reality TV.
“I am honestly tired of being overlooked just because I am a bigger guy,” he said. “I hope production and casting teams start to notice the growth and the work I have put in. … Most importantly, I want to be healthy physically and mentally. At the end of the day, you only have yourself.”
After marking one year of his journey on Monday, March 31, with a before-and-after photo on X, Frazier said his goal is “to get under 250 pounds.”
“I am currently at 339 and started [around] 409,” he said. “I want to compete again and come back stronger and more confident than I was before. I want to feel good about myself not just in the TV world but also in the gay community.”
