Elon Musk's Custody Battles and Child Support Payments Explained

17 April 2025 at 11:58

Elon Musk has navigated various custody arrangements with the respective mothers of his children.

Musk shares twins Vivian and Griffin, born in 2006, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, born in 2006, with ex-wife Justine Wilson. The pair, who divorced in 2008, also shared son Nevada, who died of sudden infant death syndrome in 2002 at 10 weeks.

Musk also shares three children with singer Grimes: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus, who were born in 2020, 2021 and 2023, respectively. Weeks before Musk and Grimes welcomed Exa via surrogate, Shivon Zilis gave birth to twins Strider and Azure. Zilis and Musk later welcomed daughter Arcadia and son Seldon.

Author Ashley St. Clair also claimed in February 2025 that she secretly gave birth to her and Musk’s son, Romulus, in late 2024.

Where Elon Musk Stands With the Mothers of His 13 Children

Musk had previously been candid about his desire to have a big family.

“Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis,” he wrote via X, the social media platform that he owns, in July 2022. “A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces by far. Mark my words, they are sadly true. I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of Musk’s custody and child support arrangements:

Justine Wilson

Wilson claimed in a 2010 essay for Marie Claire that she and Musk signed a postnuptial agreement without disclosing specific details.

“Two months after our wedding, I simply signed the postnuptial agreement,” Wilson wrote. “I trusted my husband — why else had I married him? — and I told myself it didn’t matter. We were soulmates. We would never get divorced. A life without Elon was unthinkable.”

According to Wilson, the postnup “signed away” any claims to community property except for their house. She said that the residence was “vested in [her] name” after she gave birth to their first child.

Wilson’s divorce lawyer ultimately tried to argue that the postnup was invalid since the author reportedly wasn’t informed of Musk’s significant business holdings when she signed the document. The judge ruled in Musk’s favor to uphold the document.

Details of their custody arrangements are unknown, though Musk is estranged from daughter Vivian. She claimed on multiple instances that the Tesla founder did not support her when she publicly came out as transgender.

“He was not as supportive as my mom,” Vivian claimed in a 2025 profile in Teen Vogue. “First of all, I had not talked to him in months — in months — so I had to get parental consent to get testosterone blockers and [hormone replacement therapy].”

Per Vivian, she also only found out about Musk’s kids with Grimes, Zilis and St. Clair through the internet.

“I don’t keep up with that side of the family because … I don’t. My mom doesn’t really either. She’s divorced, werk,” Vivian added. “I don’t really [care] what they do. This is not my problem, OK?”

Grimes

Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” over her three kids with Musk in September 2023. While the court documents were sealed, the musician later claimed via X that she had exhausted her bank account during the legal battle.

“Spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers rights having my Instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn’t have my kids and fighting and detaching from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me, with a fraction of his resources (or iq/ strategy experience), all the while I didn’t see one of my babies for 5 months,” Grimes alleged in November 2024. “And this is only what can be said publicly, since most of my experience these last years should remain behind closed doors.”

Musk has not publicly addressed his custody battle with Grimes. He has since brought their eldest son, X, to many public events in 2024 and 2025, which Grimes publicly condemned.

“I have tried begging the public and my kids’ dad to keep them offline, and I’ve tried legal recourse,” she tweeted in March 2025. “The state of my children’s lives being public is of grave concern to me, and I think about how to solve this every day. It’s insane to me that there’s no way to deal with this. I would hope there was some law that would allow a parent to veto small children from living public lives, but I don’t even trust the law to help me now if I tried to invoke it tbh.”

Shivon Zilis

Musk’s parenting plan with Zilis, a Neuralink executive, has not been publicly shared. A bombshell Wall Street Journal report in April 2025, however, claimed that Musk gives Zilis “special status.”

“Musk chooses to spend time at her home in Austin as well as bringing her to high-profile public events,” the WSJ claimed, further alleging that Zilis and her four kids live on Musk’s estate in Texas.

Musk appeared to deny the report, tweeting, “TMZ >> WSJ.”

St. Clair revealed in February 2025 that she gave birth to her son with Musk several months earlier. St. Clair subsequently filed a lawsuit in New York, petitioning for sole custody of Romulus and asking for Musk to submit to a DNA test.

“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed,” Musk wrote via X in March 2025. “Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”

The WSJ alleged the next month that Musk had previously offered St. Clair a one-time $15 million sum and an additional $100,000 per month to keep their son’s existence a secret.

Ben Affleck Mentions Exes Gwyneth Paltrow, Jen Garner, J.Lo in Film Lookback

17 April 2025 at 11:58

Ben Affleck had his exes — namely Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez — on his mind while looking back at his iconic film career.

Although Affleck, 52, played a role in 1998’s Oscar-winning Shakespeare in Love, he explained that he didn’t have an intention to portray the lead, but was intrigued at nabbing a part alongside then-girlfriend Paltrow, now 52.

“I read that script, remains the best script that I’ve ever read. I was never gonna play a lead,” Affleck told GQ in an interview published on Thursday, April 17. “When I read that Joe Fiennes was playing the lead, I read it because I was dating Gwyneth at the time — or I don’t know if I read it because of that, but I remember that she was going to be in it. I read it and loved that character. It was like the actor who’s full of himself and I thought it was very funny.”

He continued, “And more than that, I like the idea of a Tom Stoppard screenplay, you know, to me just seemed like this is amazing. This brilliant guy has actually written a screenplay for the movies and it was the best screenplay I’ve ever read. I loved it and I loved making the movie and it was a thrill and an honor to do.”

Ben Affleck’s Dating History Through the Years

Affleck and Paltrow were together for three years on and off until calling it quits for good in 2000. Three years later, Affleck starred in Daredevil alongside Garner, now 53.

“I love the comic book and I loved working with Mike Duncan and Colin [Farrell] and Jen Garner,” Affleck said. “It wasn’t the adaptation ultimately that, like, I thought was the best version of what it could have been and that was disappointing.”

One year after starring in the film together, Garner and Affleck’s romance was confirmed. He popped the question in 2005, and the pair tied the knot the following year. The couple welcomed their children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel in 2005, 2009 and 2012, respectively. Garner and Affleck announced their separation in 2015, finalizing their divorce in 2018.

Affleck also mentioned his starring role opposite second wife Lopez, now 55, in 2004’s Jersey Girl. The duo got engaged in the early 2000’s but ended the engagement shortly after. They rekindled their romance in 2021 and said “I do” the following year. Us Weekly confirmed in August 2024 that Lopez filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary. The pair’s divorce was finalized in January.

“Oh my god, I love doing that movie too. I love Kevin. We had a beautiful time together. Vilmos Zsigmond shot that movie,” he said of Jersey Girl. “Jen was great, Liv [Tyler] was great and George Carlin was such a … Raquel [Castro], the actress played the young girl, you know, by the way, she’s like, 30 now or some crazy thing. But George was a wonderful guy and a hero of mine. And to get to work with him and get to know him was an honor and a treat.”

Affleck’s trip down memory lane comes one day after he praised Lopez while walking the red carpet for The Accountant 2 premiere.

“For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” he told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, April 16. “I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.”

Shanna Moakler’s Dating History: Dennis Quaid, Travis Barker and More

17 April 2025 at 11:58

Shanna Moakler has always been honest about her love life after sparking romances with several A-listers over the years.

Moakler was briefly linked to Billy Idol in 1997 before moving on with Oscar De La Hoya later that year. Moakler and De La Hoya welcomed daughter Atiana in March 1999 but split one year later.

The model dated Dennis Quaid for eight months in 2001 before she met her future husband, Travis Barker, whom she wed in 2004. Moakler and Barker welcomed son Landon in 2003 and daughter Alabama in 2005. The couple broke up in 2006 but briefly rekindled their romance, ultimately divorcing in 2008.

Moakler has since been linked to a few other famous faces, including Days of Our Lives star Greg Vaughan in late 2023.

Moakler and Idol were linked in 1997, with her later sharing that she was "a fan of accents."
"He's so sexy. You know, he's got that English thing going on. And the hair, and everything! He's a rock star ... he's so cute," she shared with ESPN in a 2001 profile.

Moakler and De La Hoya began dating in October 1997 and got engaged the following year. Moakler and De La Hoya's relationship ended after three years of dating when the boxer showed up with another date to the Latin Grammy Awards in September 2000.
"I'm sitting in bed, watching the Latin Grammy awards, feeling hurt that he went without me. Then, I see him there with another woman," she claimed to ESPN. "I was devastated. I had no idea there were any real problems in the relationship until that point."

The exes, who were married from 2004 to 2008, had their ups and downs as they tried to focus on coparenting for their children. Unfortunately, things took a turn when Barker started dating Kourtney Kardashian and Moakler chose to make drastic changes.
"Shanna is scoping out auction houses to auction off sentimental things that Travis has gotten her when they were together," a source exclusively told Us in July 2021. "She wants to sell her engagement ring."
The insider noted at the time that their coparenting relationship had "hit rock bottom." The source added, "She wants to get rid of everything that reminds her of him and reminds her of the happier times." (Barker married Kardashian in May 2022.)

Moakler was on and off with Rondeau from 2020 to 2021. The pair's relationship took a turn when Moakler entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in February 2022. That same month, her former housemate Teddi Mellencamp claimed that Rondeau DMed her shady comments about Moakler.
"Shanna is going to be completely blindsided once she comes out of the house and finds out what Matthew has been up to," a source told Us after fans noticed that the actor unfollowed his girlfriend on social media ahead of her eviction on the CBS series. "They were headed toward an engagement but now can be headed toward a split."
Moakler, for her part, also unfollowed Rondeau when she returned home from the competition series. That same month, Rondeau was arrested following an altercation with Rondeau. The charges were dropped later that year.
The duo briefly rekindled their romance before Moakler confirmed in January 2023 that they had ended things for good.

Moakler met Vaughan in 1994 when they were both models in Miami. However, it wasn’t until November 2023 that they started dating after reconnecting at a vodka launch party. Moakler and Vaughan went public with their romance in March 2025 when she celebrated her 50th birthday on social media.
“He’s my best friend, my safe space, and the person I can totally be myself around, no filter needed,” Moakler told the Daily Mail in April 2025, revealing she moved to Texas the previous fall to be closer to the General Hospital alum. “Plus, he’s a hardworking, loving dad with that classic southern charm. Chivalry is definitely not dead with him!”

Emilio Estevez Says 'St. Elmo's Fire' Director Was a 'Nightmare' and 'Bully'

17 April 2025 at 11:42

According to Emilio Estevez, things weren’t as friendly on the set of St. Elmo’s Fire as they appeared on screen.

“What’s the worst note a director has ever given you?” host Josh Horowitz asked the actor, 62, on the Thursday, April 17, episode of the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast. Estevez threw shade at the director of St. Elmo’s Fire in his response, stating, “‘Have a good f***ing time.’ Screaming at the top of his lungs. Here’s looking at you, Joel Schumacher.”

St. Elmo’s Fire hit theaters in 1985, just a few months after another of Estevez’s iconic films, The Breakfast Club, premiered. “To go from [The Breakfast Club director] John Hughes, who was collaborative, who was a mentor in many ways, who was calm [and] listened, to Joel, who was wildly insecure and was a nightmare on set and was a bully,” he claimed.

Estevez said Schumacher’s alleged treatment of him on set inspired his own behavior behind the camera. “I vowed never to speak to my actors that way, if I ever got a chance to direct,” he shared. “In 1984, I thought, ‘This is the best lesson a young actor who wants to direct could ever get.’ Thank you, Joel.”

The Brat Pack: A Complete Guide to the Actors That Ruled the '80s

St. Elmo’s Fire followed a group of recent college graduates as they navigated friendships and romantic relationships while transitioning into adulthood. The beloved ‘80s flick starred many members of the Brat Pack, including Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Andrew McCarthy and Demi Moore.

The movie marked one of Schumacher’s earliest directing credits. He went on to direct a number of memorable projects over the years, such as The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, The Phantom of the Opera, The Number 23 and Trespass. He directed two episodes of Netflix’s House of Cards before his death at age 80 in June 2020.

Earlier in Thursday’s podcast, Estevez teased plans for an upcoming St. Elmo’s Fire sequel, revealing that Sony Pictures is “fast-tracking” the project written by Stuart Blumberg and produced by Will Gluck. A director has not been attached to the movie.

“I know Rob [Lowe] is keen on it. He’s very quick to talk about it. Every time he gets on a red carpet, Rob talks about St. Elmo’s Fire,” Estevez quipped. “It will really depend on the script. But I know the studio’s keen on it.”

Andrew McCarthy and Emilio Estevez’s Rift Revealed in 'Brats': Revelations

Lowe, 61, revealed that a follow-up film was in the works last year. “We’ve met with the studio and I have been talking about doing it for about four months,” he told Entertainment Tonight in July 2024. “But it’s very, very, very, very, very early stages. So we will see.”

Lowe gave an update on the project on his “Literally with Rob Lowe” podcast last month, revealing, “The script has to come in and we all have to like it but everybody wants to do it. Everybody’s on board.”

He also credited the 2024 documentary about the Brat Pack, aptly titled Brats, for helping to garner interest in a sequel. “Brats helped it and it was just, like, ‘Yes we are doing it,’” he explained. “The script is being written.”

Shanna Moakler Has Been Quietly Dating Greg Vaughan Since 2023: 'No Drama'

17 April 2025 at 11:36

Shanna Moakler revealed she’s been quietly dating soap opera star Greg Vaughan since fall 2023 but she’s now ready to publicly profess her love.

“We’ve both been through the highs and lows of public relationships, and after living in the Hollywood spotlight for so long, we really just wanted something for us,” Moakler, 50, told the Daily Mail on Thursday, April 17. “No pressure, no headlines — just real moments, privately shared.”

The model revealed it’s been “so refreshing to build something healthy, peaceful, and full of joy without the noise.” Moakler noted, “Sometimes the best love stories grow quietly and that’s exactly what we needed.”

While Moakler only recently announced her and Vaughan’s relationship — she made it Instagram official last month — they have known each other for decades.

Shanna Moakler’s Dating History: Dennis Quaid, Travis Barker and More

“Greg and I actually first met in 1994 in South Beach when we were both aspiring models,” she recalled, revealing that she and the Days of Our Lives star, 51, “had a little Miami moment and briefly dated” before they were pulled in different directions.

Three years after they first met, Moakler and Vaughan costarred in Poison Ivy: The New Seduction. In the decades since, the pair have “run into each other in Los Angeles, on set, or through mutual friends,” Moakler said.

While she said “nothing ever really lined up” that changed when the two crossed paths again in November 2023 at Jason Momoa’s vodka launch.

Shanna Moakler’s Drama With Her and Travis Barker's Kids Over the Years

“Life really came full circle, and I think that’s what makes this all feel so special,” Moakler gushed.

Despite being happy with the former General Hospital actor, Moakler confessed it “wasn’t easy” at first since they lived in separate states. Vaughan was in Texas, while Moakler resided in California.

“We’re both back and forth between Texas and Los Angeles for work and family, but we’ve found a rhythm that really works,” she said, confirming she relocated to Texas in September 2024 to be closer to her boyfriend.

More than one year into their relationship, Moakler is feeling like she hit the jackpot. “This feels like a mature love built on honesty, mutual respect, and real communication,” she shared. “In the past, those things weren’t always present. With Greg, there’s no drama, no guessing.”

Moakler noted that the couple shows up for each other “in the most genuine way,” calling Vaughan a “rare soul” who understands her. “He didn’t break my heart, but somehow he managed to heal it, and that says everything,” she continued.

“He’s my best friend, my safe space, and the person I can totally be myself around, no filter needed,” Moakler concluded. “Plus, he’s a hardworking, loving dad with that classic southern charm. Chivalry is definitely not dead with him!”

Travis Barker, Shanna Moakler’s Ups and Downs: Explosive Divorce and More

Prior to her relationship with Vaughan, Moakler has been in several high-profile romances. She was engaged to Oscar De La Hoya, with whom she shares daughter Atiana, 26, from 1998 to 2000. Moakler then married Travis Barker in 2004.

Moakler and Barker, 49, filed for divorce in 2006, but briefly reconciled. They parted ways for good in 2008. Moakler shares son Landon, 21, and daughter Alabama, 19, with the Blink 182 drummer.

Moakler has since romance Hells Angels biker Bryan Sollima and had an on-off relationship with Matthew Rondeau that ended in 2023.

Vaughan, meanwhile, was married to Touriya Haoud from 2006 to 2014. The exes share three sons, Jathan, Cavan and Landan. The soap star was most recently in a relationship with Angie Harmon. The pair got engaged in December 2019, but called it quits two years later.

Ben Affleck Recalls Facing His 'Internalized Homophobia' for Gay Kiss Scene

17 April 2025 at 11:36

Ben Affleck opened up about a difficult time he had processing his emotions while filming Chasing Amy, which featured his character kissing a man.

“I ended up having to confront some of my own internalized homophobia [in Chasing Amy] because I found it so difficult to kiss Jason [Lee],” the actor, 52, said in a GQ interview on Thursday, April 17. “And I thought, ‘This is really embarrassing. Like, this is clearly some internalized thing because why should that be a difficult thing to do?’”

Affleck starred in the 1997 romance film alongside Lee, now 54, and Joey Lauren Adams. In the movie, directed by Kevin Smith, Affleck’s character falls in love with a woman (Adams) who is a lesbian, and his professional partner (Lee) does not approve. Affleck and Adams’ characters build a friendship that later turns romantic much to the chagrin of Lee.

“At the time, what I thought about it was that it kind of alluded to a spectrum of sexual orientation,” Affleck recalled of the film. “Because to me it was very suggestive around the homosexuality between the two friends.”

Ben Affleck Claims He Was 'So Bad' in ‘Buffy' Role They Dubbed Over Him

As Affleck dived deeper into his character, he questioned what “a love relationship between two men” would look like after only knowing platonic connections.

“You love this other man, we have friendships with men that we love very much,” he explained. “And it was a way of looking at well, how is this also similar to homosexual relationships? Or maybe there’s a sort of continuum or spectrum, and I thought that was honest.”

While looking back on the movie, Affleck admitted he wasn’t thrilled with his performance.

“And I still think I did a s***y and unconvincing job at it, and I’m disappointed by that,” he confessed. “And I would love the chance to do better at that. Although now I’m not sure the idea of playing a gay character would be welcome.”

Affleck added that he also would be “aversive” to take another queer role since he does not want “to offend anyone in this direction.” (Many films have been criticized for casting straight performers to play leading gay roles rather than casting actual LGBTQ+ actors.)

Despite his feelings about his performance, Affleck is still proud of the project.

“It was a movie that, at the time, sort of felt like it was pushing some boundaries,” he said. “And in retrospect, as often happens, the world has evolved.”

Chasing Amy was a success at the time. The indie film received positive reviews and earned $12 million at the box office. Chasing Amy won two awards at the 1998 Independent Spirit Awards, one for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Lee.

Brandi Glanville Reveals What She Looks Like Currently Amid Health Battle

17 April 2025 at 11:32

Brandi Glanville is providing an update amid her mysterious facial disfigurement.

“Good morning,” Glanville, 52 — who concealed half her face behind the camera — began in her video exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “I know doctors think I’m crazy and there’s nothing really wrong with me, nothing’s growing and it’s just another normal Sunday.”

Glanville then positioned the camera to show off her whole face, revealing a new growth visible on one side of her cheek.

“That’s why I today am heading to urgent care because there’s nothing wrong with me,” Glanville quipped. “Nothing’s growing. It’s in my head.”

Brandi Glanville Spent Over $113K Amid Health Issues, Misses 'Living Life'

Glanville, who has been dealing with an unknown medical condition for nearly two years, exclusively told Us that she’s spent thousands of dollars searching for answers.

“I’m out of funds. I’m out over six figures at this point,” she explained, while promoting her “Remedy” single. “I don’t have the means to go anywhere at this point. I’m online every day, going down a different rabbit hole. It’s exhausting. It’s all-consuming.”

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum claimed that she’s spent more than $113,000 attempting to find a treatment outside of her health insurance plan. (Glanville alleged she has run through Kaiser’s covered options.)

“I just wanna find a doctor who makes it, like, his mission to help me,” Glanville said. “And not just me, [but] these other poor women who have been going through this for so long, and men, too. I’ve had a couple men reach out. I feel for them, like, I know exactly what they’re talking about and the pressure in their head, how they feel it’s gonna explode. … I’m at my wits’ end.”

Brandi Glanville’s Facial Disfigurement Is Starting to Affect Her Teeth

Glanville has met with doctors, undergone CAT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds — and still has no definitive answers on “whatever’s living in [her] face.”

“It’s moving down my body, like, literally in my neck now moving on my left shoulder [and] down my arm,” she said. “I have to get up, I have to stretch, I have to get in a hot tub. I have a routine and it sucks.”

Glanville shared that she’s also been leaning on antibiotics and CellSound to feel better. “It’s an ultrasound therapy, it pisses off whatever’s going on there and it gives me reprieve from the pressure,” she said. “It’s been very helpful. And then I recently started with Dr. Joy Kong doing stem cells. And I did notice, like I had right after, immediately I had more energy.”

Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow’s husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, has been one of medical professionals who has offered to help Glanville get a diagnosis and has performed four biopsies on her.

Dubrow exclusively told Us in February that he’s “committed to helping” Glanville, adding, “I think once we get a diagnosis and we get a treatment plan, that we can get on the other side of it.” Dubrow, however, has had no answers for Glanville.

Aaron Rodgers Says He's in 'Serious Relationship' Amid Retirement Talk

17 April 2025 at 11:28

With intense focus being placed on his football future, Aaron Rodgers is more concerned about his personal life.

Rodgers, 41, is a free agent for the first time in his NFL career after the quarterback and the New York Jets parted ways in February following two tumultuous seasons. But the future Hall of Famer has managed to block out the noise surrounding chatter about what comes next.

“I’m in a different phase of my life,” Rodgers said on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show during a Thursday, April 17 video call from his home in Malibu. “I’m 41 years old. I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention. I have personal commitments not knowing what my future was going to look like after last year that are important to me.”

Rodgers — who has previously dated Shailene Woodley, Olivia Munn and Danica Patrick — revealed he was dating a woman named Brittani during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in December 2024.

“I have a couple of people in my inner circle who are really battling some difficult stuff,” Rodgers continued on Thursday. “I have a lot of things that are taking my attention and have, beginning in January, away from football. That’s been where I’ve been focusing most of my attention.”

McAfee, 37, hinted that he and Rodgers had spoken off-air about the specific issues Rodgers was referencing. But Rodgers balked when McAfee pressed him to reveal some details to help the public better understand what he was dealing with.

“They don’t need [to know],” Rodgers said. “My personal life is my personal life. There’s a sensitivity to some of the stuff that’s going on, for sure. It’s very important to me.”

Aaron Rodgers Teases What He's Looking for in Next NFL Team After Jets Exit

As for his potential path forward in the NFL, Rodgers called many of the narratives surrounding him this offseason “bulls***.”

“To make a commitment to a team is a big thing, whether you’re a first-year player or a 20-year [veteran]. I had a lot of great conversations with a lot of teams,” he said. “Not one of those was the Jets, because that wasn’t a great conversation. But I’ve had some good conversations. I’ve been up-front with all of them.”

Rodgers added, “I’m not out there putting s*** out just to put s*** out. That’s just not how I operate. There’s been a lot of people assuming they have information about me that’s just not true. I’ve been straight-up with these teams from the start about where I was at.”

BiP's Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk Celebrate Their 4-Year Anniversary

17 April 2025 at 11:14

A Bachelor Nation success story! Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk are one of the few couples to survive life after Bachelor in Paradise.

The couple met in 2017 while filming season 4 of BiP, and though their love lasted through the finale, Gottschalk pointedly did not propose on the show. At the time they were living in different cities and felt they needed more time together for their relationship to grow. “He promised me a really big ring!” Gates joked shortly after the finale aired, adding that they didn’t feel “any pressure” from producers to get engaged during the episode.

Just under two years later, they announced their engagement via Instagram and in the long run-up to the wedding — they postponed their nuptials multiple times amid the coronavirus pandemic — the pair had plenty of time to think about the next step: children. “I have baby fever, but Adam has extreme baby fever,” Gates exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2020, noting that it would be “totally fine” if they got pregnant by accident. “He is ready.”

The couple finally tied the knot in April 2021 before announcing the following July that they were expecting their first baby. Son Gates, whose moniker is inspired by his mother’s maiden name, arrived in January 2022. He became a big brother one year later in July 2023.

The couple took a lengthy vacation to Thailand in fall 2018 and shared tons of the photos from the trip on social media. "Hi from Bangkok," Gates captioned one snap. "Adam's smiling because I'm finally used to the time change being 12 hours ahead & I'm not so jet lagged. He had been calling me his 'little demon' but today I got the name of 'my sweetness.'"

During an appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe's "Off the Vine" podcast, Gates spoke candidly about her time with Gottschalk in the fantasy suite, saying that she had a "mind-blowing" experience with her future fiancé. "When I was on [BiP], he would take me into the ocean and say some dirty s—t to me," she recalled. "We get into the fantasy suite and he did the damn thing. That's when I was pretty damn sure."

Who Is Liv Tyler’s Mom? What to Know About Bebe Buell

17 April 2025 at 11:11

Bebe Buell is the central figure in one of rock music’s most notorious paternity controversies.

The one-time Playboy Playmate dated Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and singer-songwriter Todd Rundgren in the 1970s, with both men believing they were the father of her daughter Liv Tyler at different points.

Buell kept Liv’s paternity a secret for the first few years of her daughter’s life due to concerns about Steven’s admitted drug use at the time. When the truth was revealed in 1988 that Steven was Liv’s biological father, Rundgren endured a painful disconnection from the surrogate daughter he’d raised.

Aside from her incredible paternity revelation, Buell dated many other iconic rock stars and developed a music career of her own.

Keep scrolling for a look back at Buell’s eventful life, famous romances and the paternity revelation that changed her daughter Liv’s life:

Early Years

Buell was just out of high school when she was discovered by the prestigious Eileen Ford modeling agency and whisked away to New York City. At age 21, she posed for Playboy and was selected as the Playmate of the Month for November 1974.

A few years later, Buell made her music debut with the release of a four-song E.P. called Covers Girl in 1981. The short-form record was produced by the powerhouse duo of The Cars’ Ric Ocasek and “Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo” singer Rick Derringer. Throughout the ‘80s, Buell was a part of bands B—Sides, from 1980 to 1985, and The Gargoyles, from 1985 to 1991.

Early Dating Life

While Buell’s most notable relationships were with Steven and Rundgren, she was also linked to rock gods Mick Jagger, Iggy Pop, David Bowie and Elvis Costello, among others.

Buell rejected calling herself a “rock groupie,” instead referring to herself and others with a similar romantic background as “rock girlfriends.”

Liv Tyler Gets Emotional About Meeting Sister Mia at Dad Steven's Concert

“My reputation is so overblown. I can count the number of men I’ve been with on two hands; it just seems like a lot because you recognize their names,” she told New York Magazine in 2011. “I consider ‘groupie’ a sexist term, and I think it’s misused. I was a free agent. I was a very independent, successful girl. I made my own money, I bought my own airline tickets. When I got a paycheck, I went to Bergdorf and I bought my own clothes. There were no rock stars buying me my clothes.”

The model confessed that there were downsides to dating some of rock music’s most eligible bachelors during the zenith of their fame.

“I think every little girl would like exclusivity, but that wasn’t how it was. If you had a jealous streak, the ‘70s wasn’t your era,” she said in 2011. “And I figured if he was going to date, I would date, too. I had lovely boyfriends. For your first three boyfriends to be Mick Jagger, Todd Rundgren and David Bowie, I don’t think anyone would have a problem with that.”

Her exploits in the ‘70s rock music scene partially inspired Kate Hudson’s character Penny Lane in the Oscar-winning 2000 movie Almost Famous, according to writer-director Cameron Crowe.

Steven Tyler and Todd Rundgren

Buell was in an on-off romance with Rundgren for most of the 1970s, but they went through periods of estrangement as well. During one such period, Buell had a fling with Aerosmith frontman Tyler.

In a 2018 Rolling Stone interview, Buell opened up about her awkward first meeting with Tyler when Aerosmith were considering working with Rundgren.

“Todd and I were flown up to Boston when Aerosmith were considering Todd as producer,” she explained. “It was around ’74 and they flew us to this outdoor show. It was pouring down rain and mud everywhere and I was dressed in a long white dress and espadrilles and didn’t want to step over the mud.”

She continued, “Todd was going, ‘Bebe, stop it.’ Steven could see what was going on and he comes leaping over, throws his coat over the puddle and picks me up and carries me across. I thought it was hilarious, and very gallant. Like a knight in shining leopard.”

Liv Tyler Shares Rare Photos of Her Children

Buell told The Believer in 2017 that it was not unusual for couples in the rock world to have open relationships in that era.

“I was never married [at the time]. That’s not a judgment,” she said. “I just never saw myself as a taken woman very often, even when I was with Todd all those years. We always saw, in private and not-so-private, other people. It was the era. It was the time.”

Buell went on, “Maybe if we had been married, it would have been different. But I find that those kinds of relationships tend to be very damaging to your psyche. I don’t care what anyone says. There’s nothing abnormal about not feeling OK, or feeling jealous, when the person you are with is with another person. It hurts a lot. When you’re a young girl you might act things out in a different way. My way of acting out was, ‘Well, OK, I’ll date Mick Jagger, then.’”

Buell experienced an unplanned pregnancy during her brief time with Steven. The model chose to conceal the truth about daughter Liv’s paternity and asked Rundgren to sign her birth certificate since they’d recently got back together. As such, her daughter was named Liv Rundgren on her birth certificate in 1977.

According to a 2019 interview, Buell felt that it was best to conceal the truth from Steven initially because she was worried about his drug use at the time. Steven has been open about his struggles with addiction, writing in his 2011 memoir Does the Noise in My Head Bother You? about abusing cocaine at the height of his troubles.

“Doctors said [cocaine] was not addictive . . . it was habituating,” Steven wrote. “They didn’t know at the time that the drug would eventually take a sharp turn after a certain day. Blow, once the life of the party, became the stuff of fear and loathing, the source of devious and secretive behavior, and the mother of all lies. ‘What, me? No, I don’t have any!’ ‘Sorry, ran out, bummer, man!’ ‘Nope. Hey, I gotta go to the bathroom.’ And that’s where the rock ‘n’ roll bathroom came from. That’s when people started keeping stuff in two pockets — you had your courtesy bindle you’d share, your sock. And thus sin and doubt entered our happy world.”

Liv went the first 8 or 9 years of her life without suspecting the truth about her father, according to her own estimation in a 2025 appearance on the podcast “Sibling Revelry.” Buell told Rolling Stone in 2018 that Rundgren learned the truth about Liv’s paternity much earlier.

“We made a pact that he would be Liv’s father and if it ever became an issue, we’d tell her at 18,” she said. “But fate had something else up its sleeve and she had a hunch as early as 9 years old, but it wasn’t until August 1988 when she turned 11 that she put it together and confronted me. It’s not like I could lie to her.”

Paternity Revelation

In his memoir, Steven wrote that he first learned about Liv around “Christmas of 1980” when he had an unexpected visit from Buell before an Aerosmith show.

“[Bebe had] gotten pregnant in Germany and we’d somehow broken up after the tour,” he clarified. “I guess I was in denial about it being my child, and she’d had just about enough of me and decided Todd Rundgren would be a better father. Bebe showed me pictures of baby Liv and we both cried before I went on.”

Steven got sober in the mid-1980s and reached out to Buell to make amends. As he started spending time around Buell’s family, Liv noticed her physical similarities with Aerosmith’s frontman.

Liv recalled on The Jonathan Ross Show in 2015 that she finally realized Steven was her father when she met her half-sister, Mia Tyler, at a concert in 1988. Steven had welcomed Mia with his first wife, Cyrinda Foxe, in 1978, just one year after Liv’s birth.

“I kind of figured it out [that Steven is my father] because he looks exactly like me and I have sister, named Mia, who is a year younger than me,” she said. “I saw her, standing on the side of the stage at a concert, and literally, it was like looking at a twin. She looked exactly like me.”

Liv continued, “I looked at my mom and she had tears in her eyes. I kind of put it all together.”

Liv quickly bonded with Steven while simultaneously experiencing a falling out with Rundgren. The “Just One Victory” singer confessed in a 2019 interview that it was very hard for him to see Liv and Steven bond so quickly.

Band Members Who Have Dated Each Other: Paramore, Fleetwood Mac and More

“There is a happy ending there,” Rundgren insisted. “Just talking about the way everything came about, what happened during the relationship. It was always the one subject in my life that I was most sensitive about; my relationship with Bebe, and such. For years, I was very upset about the fact that she essentially forgot that I was her father. Things turned out to be a lot of fun for her. I got completely sidelined for a while, and I got bent out of shape about it. That doesn’t bother me now, but yes, it was tough to write about something that had been bothersome for so long.”

Liv acknowledged on “Sibling Revelry” in 2025 that she regretted the way Rundgren was treated in the aftermath of her paternity discovery.

“I think it’s probably still very hard and painful,” Liv told hosts Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson. “I don’t speak to him enough, I love him and I have brothers from him and I had a whole family with them. But I was a kid, so it was really hard because he was mad at my mom and then suddenly Steven was there and we did a paternity test and it was positive and so we moved to New York. I think I was 11 or 12.”

Rundgren has sons Rex, born 1980, and Randy, born 1985, from his relationship with Karen Darvin as well as sons Keoni, born 1991, and Rebop, born 1992, from his marriage to Michele Gray.

Later Years

Buell was married twice following her 1978 split from Rundgren. She wed Canadian musician Coyote Shivers in 1992 and they divorced in 1999. She tied the knot with Jim Wallerstein, vocalist and guitarist of the alternative rock group Das Damen, in 2002.

After launching her own music career in the 1980s, Buell largely stepped back from performing in the 1990s to manage actress Charis Michelsen, who was featured in Martin Scorsese‘s 1999 drama Bringing Out the Dead and the Michael Douglas—starring comedy Wonder Boys.

She returned to music to front the Bebe Buell Band in the 2000s. Buell’s most recent studio album, Baring It All: Greetings from Nashbury Park, was released in 2018.

She spoke to The Believer in 2017 about where she stood with both Steven and Rundgreen 20 years after Liv’s paternity came to light.

“I know now why I didn’t marry Todd Rundgren and I didn’t marry Steven Tylery,” she said. “I know now why they have the roles they have in my life now, as opposed to then. I thought it would be Todd that would be my lifelong friend. That turned out to be Steven, who everybody thought would be the big f**kup. He’s turned out to be the one who’s done the most work on himself and has come the fullest circle and is the best person I know.”

How Tori Spelling and Carmen Electra Discovered Their Exes Were Cheating

17 April 2025 at 11:01

Tori Spelling and Carmen Electra were quite the spies in their younger days, it seems.

“I had a boyfriend — and this is so wild,” Spelling, 51, declared during the Thursday, April 17 episode of her “Misspelling” podcast. “I was best friends, this is random, Carmen Electra, and I was best friends with her. I’m talking when I was like 19, and I had this bad boyfriend.”

Electra, now 52, also had a “bad boyfriend,” and he was best friends with Spelling’s man at the time.

“They were always going off and gambling,” Spelling continued. “She and I would just be homebodies at home. I went to a spy store because I was like, I know my boyfriend is cheating on me. We got a listening device, put it on the phone and recorded.”

Electra and Spelling got together after the fact and had a “moment of truth” about their respective boyfriends.

Tori Spelling's Wildest Sex Confessions on Her 'MisSpelling' Podcast

“Instead — I mean, my boyfriend was cheating on me — but found out her boyfriend was cheating on her,” Spelling recalled.

The walk down memory lane came while Spelling was interviewing Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Britani Bateman for Thursday’s podcast episode. Bateman, 53, noted that she had also previously bugged an ex’s phone.

This led into Housewives conversation with Spelling asking Bateman about claims made from fellow RHOSLC star Meredith Marks. (A January episode of RHOSLC, showed Marks asking if Bateman put a “recording device” in her hotel room during a cast trip.)

“To find out that Meredith was looking like all over her room with Heather for a listening device. I mean, that kind of stuff. I’m like, ‘Really?’ Come on, Heather,” Bateman said during Thursday’s episode. “It’s so ridiculous that it’s almost not even insulting. It’s just like, OK, that tells me much more about you than it does about me.”

Bateman said the whole situation was “so silly,” before doubling down on her claim from the show.

Tori Spelling’s Dating History: A Complete Guide

“Literally got woken up in the middle of the night,” Bateman claimed again. “This is a true story. I heard someone throwing up, and it was Meredith, through the wall. There was no listening through the door or the wall.”

Spelling clarified, “So they thought you put a listening device. You had gone to some spy store.”

Spelling — a fan of RHOSLC — also spoke with Bateman about a different scene from the same episode. Bravo fans will recall Bateman recording a video from inside a sprinter van with the full cast. Bateman was immediately clocked — and yelled at by her costars.

“It is infamous, you recording,” Spelling noted.

“I’m not sure how much I can speak to it. “Something about that comes out this season,” Bateman said. “We may or may not be filming and things may or may not be coming out about the recording in the van.”

’Alias’ and Beyond! See Jennifer Garner Through the Years

17 April 2025 at 10:57

Jennifer Garner became a household name thanks to her starring role on Alias. In the two decades since, she’s played a variety of unforgettable parts in beloved projects.

Even in the early days of her career, Garner had a big vision for what Alias could become. “I hope this show is included with all of the shows that have celebrated strong women [in TV history],” she told Entertainment Weekly in November 2005. “To me, what’s mattered about this character is how much she’s struggled to hold on to her humanity in the middle of this weird world that she lives in and how incredibly hard she works at doing the right thing when that isn’t always cut-and-dried.”

After welcoming her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, Garner took a step back from the spotlight in order to focus on her family, but has no intention of giving up acting any time soon.

“It’s a very hungry, greedy career and a very unforgiving one,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2021. “And for someone who has chosen family way more often than I probably should have, I can’t believe I’m still here.”

Garner was born in Houston, Texas, in April 1972, though her family soon relocated to West Virginia, where she spent her childhood and teenage years.
The actress' childhood was shaped by her mother. "My mom grew up really poor in Locust Grover, Oklahoma, on a farm," Garner said during an appearance on the PBS' "Tell Me More" in October 2020. "I think my mom was so poor, it's just unbelievable that she managed to leave. As a matter of fact, when I moved to New York after college, my mom said, 'Jennifer, no matter what you do, it will never be as big of a deal as it was for me to leave that farm.'"

After graduating from Denison University in 1994 with a B.F.A. in theater, Garner worked in summer stock theater productions and in TV movies before landing her first major role on Felicity in 1998. While working on the show, she met Foley, and the pair tied the knot in 2000. However, they separated just three years later and their divorce was finalized in 2004.

In 2001, Garner landed the lead role of Sydney Bristow in Alias. Over the course of the show's five-season run, she was nominated for four Golden Globe Awards (she won Best Actress in a Television Series — Drama in 2002), four Emmys and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, winning once in 2005. In addition to earning a great deal of critical acclaim, Alias also turned Garner into a household name. “I couldn’t walk two feet without people stopping me to tell me how much they loved the show. I can still remember the shock of it," she told The Hollywood Reporter in March 2021.

After starring opposite future husband Affleck in 2003's Daredevil, Garner played the lead role in the sequel, Elektra. "It's such a shame, honestly, because once Kevin [Feige, president of Marvel] took over everything there was elevated: the writing, the direction, the comedy inside of the stories they were telling. And I did not have that experience," she told THR in October 2021.

Garner starred as Jenna Rink in one of her most iconic films, 13 Going on 30. "We had the sweetest time," Mark Ruffalo, who played Jenna's best friend Matty, told Entertainment Tonight in April 2019. "[Jennifer] was a big star then but I was kind of just starting out. She was just so lovely. ... We were making this really sweet movie that had a great message for young girls. We were all sort of coming into our own in that moment."

The West Virginia native married Affleck in June 2005 in a private ceremony in the Caribbean officiated by her Alias costar Victor Garber. Garner was pregnant with her and Affleck's first child when they tied the knot, and the then-couple welcomed daughter Violet in December of that year.

After taking a break from acting following Violet's birth, Garner returned to the big screen with a critically-acclaimed performance in Juno. "Scripts like this don’t come around that often," she told Entertainment Weekly in September 2007. "What happens in this movie forces the character to open up bit by bit. I think she just wants this baby, and she thinks the way to go about it is to be as appealingly Leave It to Beaver as possible. And she just forgets to add the human being in there."

Garner began work on Dallas Buyer's Club in 2013, just months after welcoming son Samuel, which was her first big project after shifting her focus toward motherhood. "My boobs were freaking out. It was bedtime and we were doing some scene that was supposed to be light and I started crying and I was like, 'I have to quit. I have to go home and be with my kids. I just can't do this anymore,'" she recalled during an October 2021 interview on "Tell Me More."
It was costar Matthew McConaughey who convinced Garner not to drop out of the film, and he made sure that she had regular breaks to pump. "From then on, whenever I needed to, I would give him a high sign and I would go take care of it. He said, 'You can do both. You've got it. You can do it,'" she recalled. "How much do I love that guy? I know, a lot."

Affleck and Garner called it quits in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage. "The truth was, we took our time, we made a decision, we grew apart,” the Argo director revealed on The Howard Stern Show in December 2021. “We had a marriage that did not work. This happens. It is somebody I love and respect, but to whom I should not be married any longer. And then we said, ‘You know what? We tried. We tried because we had kids.’”
Since their split, the pair have made an effort to amicably coparent their three children. "Things come up between them, but they are committed to doing the best they can for the kids," a source told Us Weekly in February 2020. "They want to be the best parents they can for the kids. If they have differences, they keep it to themselves and don’t let it have an impact."

As a result of her work with the charity Save the Children, Garner testified in front of Congress in 2017 to urge lawmakers to fund preschool and education programs for children living below the poverty line. "Poverty dulls the senses, it saps hope, it destroys the will," she said in her testimony. "Somebody has to tell their story above all the noise. Poverty is silent, but I can’t be."

Garner cofounded the organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm in 2018. Some of the fruits and vegetables used in the products are grown on the farm her mother's family has owned for centuries in Oklahoma. In March 2019, it became the first organic, refrigerated baby food to be available for purchase on the WIC low-income family program.
The same year, she began dating businessman John Miller. The pair amicably split in August 2020.

Garner reprised her role of Elektra in Deadpool & Wolverine, where she even made a subtle jab about her divorce from Affleck. (The now-exes both appeared in 2003’s Daredevil, where Affleck played the titular character.)
Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool offered Elektra condolences about the other Marvel characters who didn’t survive. “It’s fine,” Garner-as-Elektra joked.
The line was personally approved by Garner.
“[Ben] was never on set and yet he gave us the character, and the real-life backstory certainly gave us one of the biggest laughs that we could ever get as far as the writing and mention of Daredevil, given that it’s Jen Garner playing Elektra,” director Shawn Levy said on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast in August. “We vetted it with Jen.”
He added, “I later spoke with Ben because, as you know, the end credits have this tribute reel to the legacy of Marvel movies and so that gave us the occasion to speak to everyone, because we needed and wanted everyone’s permission. That joke, as far as I know, wasn’t vetted by Ben.”

‘American Idol’ Alum Doug Kiker’s Cause of Death Revealed

17 April 2025 at 10:54

American Idol alum Doug Kiker’s official cause of death has been revealed one month later.

The singer died from an opioid overdose, according to a report from the City and County of Denver Medical Examiner obtained by TMZ on Thursday, April 17. Kiker’s death was reportedly caused by “the combined toxic effects of fentanyl, methadone, and amphetamines, with recent cocaine use” and was ruled an accident.

The singer’s sister Angela Evans confirmed the news of Kiker’s death at age 32 in a Facebook post on March 12.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of my brother, Douglas Kiker,” she wrote. “He was sooo loved and will be missed by so many! You’re singing with the angels now Bubba. Please pray for our family as we go [through] this very difficult time.”

TMZ reported in March that a pedestrian in Denver called the police after seeing Kiker on the side of the road. The singer was hospitalized and died several days later.

Kiker appeared on season 18 of American Idol, auditioning with a rendition of the Rascal Flatts song “God Bless This Broken Road.”

The performance was widely praised by the judges, especially Lionel Richie.

“For a man who has no idea what his voice can do, for a man who has no idea what key he’s singing in, for a man who has no idea who the heck he can be, he’s here to do one thing: He’s trying to show his daughter that he’s somebody,” he said following Kiker’s audition. “I want us all to let you know, you’re a hell of a man. I want you to come get this ticket. You’re going to Hollywood!”

He was eliminated, however, during the next round following a performance of Marvin Gaye’s “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

Another one of Kiker’s sisters, Donna Kiker Carrillos-Ramirez, issued a separate statement last month following his death.

“Today, I got the call that no one wants to get. We lost an amazing person today. He had the biggest smile and knew how to make you laugh,” she shared via Facebook. “I know I didn’t raise him, but I never stopped loving him. My parents did an amazing job with him. Douglas Kiker, you will forever be missed. Fly high. Say hey to grandma.”

Kiker is survived by his parents, his sisters and his two children.

Tamron Hall Seemingly Confirms She Was Fired From ‘Sister Wives’ Reunions

17 April 2025 at 10:46

Tamron Hall is shining a light on why she suddenly stopped hosting reunions with the Sister Wives cast.

“Fans of the show know that I used to host their reunion tell-all for four seasons,” Hall, 54, shared on the Wednesday, April 16, episode of the Tamron Hall show. “I, like millions of viewers, watched the family grow and change over time.”

Before bringing out Meri Brown as her special guest, the talk show host explained why reuniting with the TLC reality star was such a special occasion.

“I have not seen Meri since I hosted the last tell-all,” Hall explained. “I will be honest with you. I was told not to come back because some people thought that the questions were too tough that I was asking.”

Us Weekly has reached out to TLC for comment.

Hall proceeded to play a clip from a past reunion show where she asked Kody Brown about his lifestyle with multiple wives.

“How do you feel now that so much emphasis was placed on a legal document that — I know this is going to offend you — but it legitimizes one wife of the four that you have?” she asked.

Robyn Brown replied, “I am offended. I think if anyone could step into our world and see how serious our spiritual marriages are to us, they wouldn’t even bring that up to us.”

Before welcoming Meri, 54, to the stage, Hall admitted that when she first agreed to be part of the Sister Wives franchise in a small capacity, she knew very little about the family.

“Initially, I did not want to host that show,” she told the audience. “I was asked to do it and at the time, I said, ‘It’s a check. Done.’”

Overtime, Hall said she got to know the family and fell “so deeply in love” with the children.

When it was time for Meri to come out, she held back tears before describing the moment as a “happy reunion.”

“I am absolutely honored that you wanted me here, and I was so excited when I was asked,” Meri shared. “I wanted to talk to you. I always felt like I had a really cool connection with you, and I never had any issues with you.”

Sister Wives first premiered in 2010 and documented Kody’s life with three wives — including Meri, Janelle and Christine — and their combined 12 children.

Over time, family dynamics began to change with Christine, 52, leaving the family in 2021, followed by Janelle, 55, in 2022. In December 2022, Meri and Kody, 56, confirmed that they had called it quits after 32 years together.

“Life is not a straight line and sometimes, there are curves and things happening you don’t even know,” Hall said at the beginning of the show. “I have a lot of respect for Meri.”

17 April 2025 at 10:33

The family of Kyren Lacy has started a GoFundMe amid an outpouring of support after the NFL Draft prospect died by suicide on Saturday, April 12.

The former LSU wide receiver died after he led police on a miles-long vehicle chase, according to a police report obtained by Us Weekly. Lacy, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene after authorities attempted to remove him from the vehicle.

“On April 12, 2025, our community suffered an unimaginable loss with the passing of Kyren Lacy,” reads the GoFundMe description, which was signed by “The Family.” “Kyren was so much more than a name — he was a beloved son, brother, cousin, friend, and teammate. “He touched countless lives with his heart, his strength, and his unwavering positivity.”

“Your contributions will help ease the financial burden as the family navigates the days ahead, and will serve as a lasting reminder of how deeply Kyren was loved by all who knew him,” the description concluded.

It was also two days before he was scheduled to appear in court for his alleged involvement in a car accident that took the life of a 78-year-old man in December 2024. He was charged with negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run and reckless driving after the crash and released on $151,000 bond. Lacy maintained his innocence until his death.

“Young parents, start talking to your kids at a very early age and make sure they are confident and comfortable confiding in you,” the prospect’s father, Kenny, wrote via Facebook on Sunday. “Don’t be cool with ‘I’m Alright, or I’m good’ when you know deep down something isn’t right. Mental Health is real, and for the most part [and] it’s invisible. Don’t ignore the signs, even if they may seem small.”

He continued, “Our lives have changed forever and this will never be OK, but God needed my baby more than he was needed here. This has to be the biggest pill our families have had to swallow, but I know the love and compassion in our families will get us through.”

The page has raised nearly $30,000 from 530 donors as of Thursday afternoon.

When asked if she would ever return to reality TV, Serena said she would be open to it.

William, Kate to Reportedly Skip Easter Service: Why It's a 'Big Deal'

17 April 2025 at 10:26

Princess Kate Middleton and Prince William will allegedly not go to the annual Easter church service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor — an event traditionally attended by all key members of the royal family, including William’s recuperating father King Charles III.

The Mirror and HELLO! reported on Thursday, April 17, that Kate, 43, and William, 42, would not be joining other royals for the Sunday, April 20, holiday at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. Instead, a source told the outlet that the couple are “choosing to spend time together as a family before the children go back to school.”

“This is a big deal,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “It’s royal tradition for the family to attend this together. Everyone understood the family not attending last year when Kate was sick but there’s been a lot of raised eyebrows at the palace about William’s decision to skip again this year. It feels like a deliberate move and even a snub.”

Last year, the family’s Easter celebrations were altered due to Charles and Kate’s cancer battles. Kate, William and the couple’s three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, were noticeably absent from the church service in March 2024. At the time, Kate had taken a step back from her public duties after being diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer earlier that year.

Breaking Down King Charles III’s Cancer Battle: A Complete Timeline

Meanwhile, Charles, 76, attended the 2024 Easter church service but was isolated from the main congregation to ensure his well-being as he also battled an undisclosed form of cancer, which was discovered earlier in the year. He chose not to participate in the post-service reception and family lunch, but he briefly greeted the public outside of the church.

In addition to Charles and Camilla Prince Andrew, Duchess Sarah Ferguson, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie were among the royals who stepped out for the Easter service in 2024. Charles’ estranged younger son Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — based in Montecito, Calif., are not expected to attend.

More recently, Charles and Kate have both offered updates on their health amid their cancer journeys. Kate, for her part, revealed in a September 2024 social media post that she had completed chemotherapy. Then, in January, she wrote via Instagram that her cancer was in remission.

“It is a relief to now be in remission,” she noted. “And I remain focused on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal.”

Kate Middleton’s Cancer Battle Timeline: From Diagnosis to Remission

She added: “I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”

As for Charles, he was briefly hospitalized in March due to side effects of his cancer treatment.

“Following scheduled and ongoing medical treatment for cancer this morning, The King experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in hospital,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read. “His Majesty’s afternoon engagements were, therefore, postponed.”

The palace confirmed at the time that Charles had returned to Clarence House to recover and his engagements the following day would be rescheduled “as a precautionary measure.” He ultimately resumed his public duties on April 1.
