Legal Expert Explains Kellie Pickler's Court Battle With Her In-Laws

16 April 2025 at 10:42

Kellie Pickler’s ongoing legal battle with her late husband Kyle Jacobs’ parents could get “complicated,” according to a legal expert.

“Probate cases can be very difficult for all involved. What should otherwise be intimate family matters are made public in a court of law,” Tennessee-based attorney and estate planner Michael Crowder, who has no connection to the case, exclusively told Us Weekly. “Conflict can be compounded by the pain, hurt and sometimes guilt or anger that the family is experiencing over the loss of a loved one.”

Jacobs died by suicide in February 2023 at the age of 49. Nearly one year later, Jacobs’ parents, Reed and Sharon, allegedly asked Pickler, 38, for many of Jacobs’ personal belongings. (Reed and Sharon are coadministrators of Jacobs’ estate.)

Pickler, meanwhile, claimed that she did not have any of the items — Jacobs’ gun collection, watches, jewelry, musical instruments and more — in her possession. She filed court documents in 2024, claiming that Reed and Sharon also removed certain items from her home without her knowledge or consent. Reed and Sharon disputed Pickler’s accusations in a November 2024 legal response, asserting that they had an “express invitation” to collect Jacobs’ belongings.

Breaking Down Kellie Pickler's Court Battle With Late Husband's Parents

“The dispute in this case involves the ownership and division of tangible personal property,” Crowder explained to Us. “Some of the most contentious cases I’ve handled in my career involve the division of a person’s belongings — what we lawyers call ‘tangible personal property,’ such as furniture, jewelry, guns, musical instruments, etc. These disputes are most often fueled not by the monetary value of the items, but by their sentimental value.”

According to Crowder, such disputes can often become “proxy wars” for family members to “work out long-standing issues” that started long before an individual’s death.

“One of the threshold issues in this case appears to be whether certain items of tangible personal property were owned by Ms. Pickler or by her husband,” Crowder said. “Ms. Pickler has alleged that the Jacobses entered her and her husband’s home and took possession of certain items. If those items were, in fact, owned by Ms. Pickler, the Jacobses had no authority to take possession of them and acted improperly in doing so.”

Crowder, however, acknowledged that Reed and Sharon are “authorized under Tennessee law” to take possession of Jacobs’ tangible personal property since they are his estate administrators.

“Determining ownership of such property can be complicated. It may involve tracing the source of the funds used to purchase the items,” Crowder added to Us. “For example, did the money come from Ms. Pickler’s employment, or from her husband’s? Additionally, spouses can enter into contracts regarding the ownership of their property, often through prenuptial or postnuptial agreements.”

Pickler and Jacobs did sign a prenup when they got married in 2011, which Reed and Sharon have used as a reason why the singer’s legal request should not be granted.

Kellie Pickler and Husband Kyle Jacobs’ Relationship Timeline

“The court will likely need to interpret that contract to determine what the parties agreed to in terms of ownership,” Crowder said. “To the extent the court determines that some or all of the property was owned by Ms. Pickler’s husband, the Jacobses have the right to collect that property as the estate’s administrators. Some or all of that property could be sold during the administration of the estate, if necessary, to pay debts and expenses.”

Once any debts and expenses are paid, it is up to an administrator to distribute the remaining property to the estate’s heirs. Since Pickler and Jacobs did not have children, Tennessee law typically allocates the entire estate to the individual’s spouse.

“Under the default rules, Ms. Pickler would be entitled to all of her husband’s property after the estate is administered by the Jacobses. However, a spouse’s right to inherit can be modified by contract,” Crowder told Us. “Many people think a prenuptial agreement only addresses property division in a divorce, but it can also address the spouses’ rights to each other’s estate upon death. Additionally, it’s possible for the family of a deceased person to reach an agreement amongst themselves regarding the division of property.”

Kellie Pickler and Late Husband Kyle Jacobs’ Parents Headed to Court

Many of the details about the legal battle have been placed under a seal for enhanced privacy. Earlier this month, Reed and Sharon also filed a subpoena to the Harpeth Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center for further details about Jacobs’ funeral service and cremation plans. Harpeth has allegedly refused to comply with the request, but has not filed an objection.

“It’s difficult to estimate the Jacobs’ intentions behind the subpoena to the funeral home,” Crowder told Us. “This is conjecture, but they may hope to uncover information that helps them locate certain belongings of their son.”

Aerosmith Star Steven Tyler’s Family Guide: Marriages, Reunions and More

16 April 2025 at 10:40

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler’s love life has generated no shortage of headlines throughout his legendary music career, as have a few of his famous children.

The singer-songwriter’s two marriages came at pivotal points in his life, and his late-in-life discovery that he fathered actress Liv Tyler with model Bebe Buell forever entwined him with another rock icon, Liv’s surrogate father Todd Rundgren.

The singer would go on to wed one of Andy Warhol’s models, Cyrinda Foxe, during arguably one of the most tumultuous points in his life. His first marriage lasted nearly a decade, before Tyler wed designer Teresa Barrick mere months after his divorce from Foxe was finalized.

Keep scrolling for a look at Steven Tyler’s complicated and outrageous personal life:

In 1973, Tyler, then 25, became then 17-year-old Holcomb’s legal guardian while they lived together in Boston. Decades later, Holcomb, later known as Julia Misley, filed a lawsuit against Tyler in 2022 claiming that he’d sexually assaulted her and pressured her to have an abortion after she experienced an unplanned pregnancy.

Tyler’s attorneys denied any wrongdoing on the rocker’s behalf and argued he had qualified immunity as Misley’s one-time guardian.

The legal battle between the pair is ongoing as of 2025. In April 2025, Tyler accused Misley of hindering his ability to fundraise following the California wildfires with her legal suit, according to In Touch.

Tyler and Buell’s relationship took place during the mid-1970s while Aerosmith was cementing themselves as one of the world’s premier rock bands. Their whirlwind romance was short-lived because of Tyler’s admitted struggles with addiction.

Buell became pregnant shortly before the dissolution of her relationship with Steven, and initially claimed that fellow rocker Rundgren was her daughter Liv’s father. Rundgren signed Liv’s birth certificate and didn’t learn the truth about her paternity until many years later.

During an April 2025 interview on Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson’s “Sibling Revelry” podcast, Liv revealed she was “8 0r 9” when Buell came clean about her biological father’s true identity. Steven had previously reached out to Buell to make amends after getting sober and gradually started spending more time with the family.

Liv Tyler Shares Rare Photos of Her Children

“The first wave was shock,” Liv recalled. “After that concert, we went home and my mom had a chaise lounge in front of a window. I remember sitting there for what felt like three days, but it was probably three hours, and coming to this conclusion of, ‘Whoa, I have two dads and all this love.’”

While Liv eventually built a relationship with Steven, she told People in 1992 that she still regarded Rundgren to be her “spiritual father.” Liv later acknowledged on “Sibling Revelry” that Rundgren really struggled after learning that he wasn’t her biological father.

“I think it’s probably still very hard and painful [for Todd],” Liv said. “I don’t speak to him enough, I love him and I have brothers from him and I had a whole family with them. But I was a kid, so it was really hard because he was mad at my mom and then suddenly Steven was there and we did a paternity test and it was positive and so we moved to New York. I think I was 11 or 12.”

Rundgren has rarely discussed the matter publicly, but did tell WXPN in April 2019 that the revelation negatively impacted his relationship with Liv for many years.

“Fortunately, there is a happy ending there,” he said. “Just talking about the way everything came about, what happened during the relationship. It was always the one subject in my life that I was most sensitive about; my relationship with Bebe, and such. For years, I was very upset about the fact that [Liv] essentially forgot that I was her father. Things turned out to be a lot of fun for her. I got completely side-lined for a while, and I got bent out of shape about it.”

Model-turned-actress Liv got her professional start with a starring role in Aerosmith’s “Crazy” music video, opposite Alicia Silverstone, in 1993. Aerosmith later recorded the Billboard No. 1 single “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” for Liv’s 1998 blockbuster Armageddon.

Steven became a grandfather to three, as Liv welcomed now-20-year-old son Milo William Langdon during her five-year marriage to Spacehog vocalist Royston Langdon and, later, shared now-10-year-old son Sailor and now-7-year-old daughter Lula with former partner David Gardner.

Steven and Foxe married in 1978 and welcomed daughter Mia in December of that same year, just over a year after Liv’s birth in July 1977.

Foxe had been a model for acclaimed artist Warhol and was previously married to New York Dolls frontman David Johansen. She was a muse for David Bowie, inspiring his classic track “The Jean Genie.”

Her marriage to the Aerosmith rocker lasted until 1987, and after their divorce she published the tell-all memoir Dream On: Livin’ on the Edge with Steven Tyler and Aerosmith. In the book, Foxe alleged that Steven wasn’t always present for their daughter Mia’s upbringing.

“He’s just not there for Mia,” she wrote. “The only time he’s there for his other daughter, Liv, is when she’s on a photo shoot. But he’s there only for himself. Whenever he’s in rehab he cries and feels guilty. He lives a luxurious lifestyle, in the biggest house in a middle-class neighborhood, so he looks like the big cheese.”

Foxe went on, “He pays for school and that’s it. Mia wants a Prada dress, that’s $700, and he won’t buy one. You’d think he’d want his daughter to be well-dressed so she can hang out with the other rock kids. Why doesn’t he give her a credit card? I don’t get it.”

Steven was in attendance for Foxe’s funeral when she died from brain cancer in 2002.

Barbra Streisand Says She and James Brolin Inspired Aerosmith’s Biggest Hit

Mia followed in half-sister Liv’s footsteps by becoming an actress and model, including starring in the 2007 movie Rush Hour 3. She was married to Papa Roach drummer Dave Buckner from 2002 to 2005.

She later had son Axton Joseph Tallarico with boxer Dan Halen in 2017. Mia has more recently dated Moth and Kill Devil Hill singer Dewey Bragg.

During an April 2025 episode of the “Sibling Revelry” podcast, Liv spoke about meeting Mia for the first time at an Aerosmith and Guns N’ Roses concert when they were preteens.

“I just remembered standing there, watching [Guns N’ Roses] play, looking and seeing this girl who looked exactly like me. We literally had the same outfit on,” Liv remembered. “I looked at my mom. … She just started crying. My mom just, like, bawled.”

Teresa Barrick

Steven married fashion designer Barrick one year after his 1987 divorce from Foxe was finalized. They share daughter Chelsea, born 1989, and son Taj, born 1991.

In February 2005, Steven announced that he’d split from Barrick in a statement released to NBC News by his publicist Mitch Schneider.

“Before the tabloid media makes more of this than it is, I am announcing that my wife Teresa and I are currently separated,” Steven said at the time. “We’re just a family trying to work through a difficult time. A little privacy and sensitivity — for Teresa, my children and myself — would be nice.”

The pair finalized their divorce in 2006.

Justin Bieber's Former Collaborators Speak Out: ‘Hope He’s OK’

16 April 2025 at 10:27

UPDATE — 4/16/25, at 3:03 p.m. ET: Justin Bieber’s rep addressed The Hollywood Reporter’s article, saying in a statement to Us Weekly, “This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin.”

The statement continued, “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But, they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Original story:

Justin Bieber’s former collaborator Poo Bear is weighing in on fan concern for the “Baby” singer’s well-being.

“Whatever he’s going through, I pray for him and hope he’s OK,” Poo Bear, 45, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published on Wednesday, April 16.

Poo Bear — who cowrote some of Bieber’s hit tracks including “Despacito” and “What Do You Mean?” — wasn’t the only one in the musician’s circle to address Bieber’s health.

“Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose,” an ex team member told the outlet. “He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”

A source close to Bieber, 31, meanwhile, told The Hollywood Reporter that there’s nothing to worry about when it comes to the singer.

“Artists are artists — they don’t look at the world the way you and I do,” the insider said. “He’s healthier than all of us — physically and mentally.”

Us Weekly reached out to Bieber’s rep for comment.

Justin Bieber's Rep Addresses 'Harmful' Rumors Singer Is Using Drugs

In recent months, Bieber has sparked fan concern for his behavior. One example was when Bieber stopped following his wife, Hailey, on Instagram in January. At the time, he quickly set the record straight and clarified he wasn’t the one to unfollow her. (The couple, who wed in 2018, welcomed son Jack Blues in 2024.)

“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote via his Instagram Story at the time. “S— is getting suss out here.”

The next month, a source exclusively told Us that Bieber is “happier than he’s been in a long time,” adding that he “just really doesn’t care what people think.”

As concern grew for his well-being, the musician’s rep told TMZ in February that rumors about Bieber using hard drugs are “absolutely not true” and called the speculation “exhausting and pitiful.” His rep noted that rumors about Justin’s mental health and alleged drug use “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

Why Are Fans Concerned About Justin Bieber? A Timeline of Concerning Posts

A source exclusively told Us in February that Hailey, 28, is “trying to be as supportive as possible,” adding, “It can be hard for Hailey, but she’s always there for him and is understanding.”

In March, Bieber opened up about navigating life in the public eye. “People told me my whole life, ‘Wow Justin, u deserve that’ and I personally have always felt unworthy,” he wrote via his Instagram Story. “Like I was a fraud. Like when people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky, like, damn if they only knew my thoughts. How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn’t be saying this. I say all this to say if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”

Later that month, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Hailey was no longer following Justin on Instagram. However, Us confirmed at the time that the singer deactivated and then reactivated his account, throwing the cache system into a glitch.

Hailey went on to respond to a TikTok video discussing her alleged Instagram estrangement with Bieber, writing, “It’s a glitch. Didn’t unfollow him. Hope this helps!”

Jana Kramer Asked to Be Jonathan Taylor Thomas' GF on 'Home Improvement'

16 April 2025 at 10:19

Jana Kramer had such a crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas that she personally asked ABC to be cast as his girlfriend on Home Improvement.

During the Wednesday, April 16, episode of her “Whine Down” podcast, Kramer recalled taking matters into her own hands as a teenager.

“I wrote [to] ABC — because I was so dead set on being Jonathan Taylor Thomas’ girlfriend on Home Improvement — that I wrote a full letter,” the 41-year-old recalled. “I was 13. I tracked down ABC’s address and I actually never shared this story.”

The actress explained that she was a big fan of Thomas’ character, Randy, who was Tim Allen‘s son in the series.

'Home Improvement' Cast: Where Are They Now?

“He was the older son. I was obsessed and I had [merch] all over my walls. I tracked down ABC’s address [in] a book. That’s how I got the address,” Kramer noted. “So I wrote a handwritten letter and this was my pitch to them.”

She continued: “So I pitched that I should be the niece of Tim Allen’s neighbor. You know the guy that’s always over the fence? I should be his niece and Jonathan Taylor Thomas falls in love with me because I’m the niece of his neighbor.”

Despite not scoring a role on the sitcom, Kramer did receive a response. “I got a signed poster of JTT which read, ‘I hope you love The Lion King,’ because [he voiced] Simba.”

Home Improvement, which ran from 1991 to 1999, made Allen, 71, a household name alongside Thomas, Patricia Richardson, Taran Noah Smith, Zachery Ty Bryan, Richard Karn and Debbe Dunning.

Child Stars: Where Are They Now? Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen, Hilary Duff, More

Thomas, 43, joined Home Improvement when it premiered but exited the series early to focus on school and ultimately made the decision to step back from acting entirely. He reunited with his onscreen dad for four episodes of Allen’s next sitcom, Last Man Standing, and later directed three episodes of the show.

While Thomas has largely remained out of the public eye since his childhood success, Allen teased that they are still in contact.

“Everything is a possibility,” Allen exclusively told Us Weekly in January about Thomas making an appearance on his new ABC sitcom, Shifting Gears. “He just came back [to the last episode we filmed]. He showed up on the set.”

Allen said he would love nothing more than to share the screen with Thomas again, adding, “He’s literally my kid. I raised that kid for eight years on Home Improvement. All of these are my kids and I’m kind of sick about this.”

Where Does the 'Selling Sunset' Cast Stand in Season 9? Breaking Down Feuds

16 April 2025 at 10:12

Has anyone else struggled to remember which Selling Sunset costars are on good terms — and which are currently at odds? If the answer is yes, then good news, because Us is breaking down where each star stands with each other as season 9 sparks more feud speculation.

Selling Sunset, which debuted in 2019, follows employees at high-end Los Angeles real estate brokerage the Oppenheim Group. The Netflix series boasts expensive homes, but it’s the drama between the cast that keeps viewers coming back for more.

Nine seasons in, the cast divides are bigger than ever. When season 8 came to an end in 2024, Chrishell Stause and Nicole Young were still at odds, but Emma Hernan has since been added into the mix. After previously accusing Chrishell of only getting real estate listings because their boss Jason Oppenheim had a crush on her, Nicole then claimed Emma was having an affair with a married man.

Nicole attempted to clarify where she got the information, but the damage was done. Then, as everyone chose sides in that feud, Chelsea Lazkani accused Bre Tiesi of bringing her friend Amanda Lynn to the show as a way to intentionally out Chelsea’s husband Jeff Lazkani’s alleged infidelity, which ultimately led to their split.

Where the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Stands on the Biggest Feuds

The feuds caused Netflix to skip a season 8 reunion, and based on the cast’s social media activity, nothing has been resolved. Keep scrolling as Us explains which cast members are friends and which are feuding ahead of season 9:

Chrishell Stause

Where Do the Selling Sunset Stars Stand With Each Other in Season 9 Breaking Down Ongoing Feuds
Courtesy of Netflix

On Good Terms With: Chrishell has remained close with Emma and Chelsea in addition to her consistent friendship with Mary Bonnet.

At Odds With: Since Nicole joined Selling Sunset, she and Chrishell could never fully work out their issues. That got even worse amid Nicole’s feud with Emma, and Chrishell also chose Chelsea’s side when it came to her issues with Bre. During season 8, Chrishell revealed she wasn’t in the best place with Amanza Smith due to alleged homophobic comments made by her hairstylist.

Emma Hernan

Where Do the Selling Sunset Stars Stand With Each Other in Season 9 Breaking Down Ongoing Feuds
Courtesy of Netflix

On Good Terms With: Similar to Chrishell, Emma is loyal to their friend group, which includes Chelsea. Emma and Mary haven’t had any drama in recent seasons either.

At Odds With: After trying to remain neutral when it came to Chelsea vs. Bre, Emma chose Chelsea’s side and has remained there. Emma is currently caught up in an individual feud with Nicole after Nicole spread rumors about her personal life on screen.

Chelsea Lazkani

Courtesy of Netflix

On Good Terms With: As season 8 came to an end, Chelsea’s bond with Chrishell and Emma has never been stronger.

At Odds With: The same can’t be said for Chelsea’s friendship with Bre, which is nonexistent. Chelsea also sided with Emma when it came to the drama between her and Nicole.

What the 'Selling Sunset' Cast Has Said About Returning — Or Quitting

Bre Tiesi

Courtesy of Netflix

On Good Terms With: A falling out with Chrishell, Emma and Chelsea has left Bre with allies such as Nicole and potentially Mary.

At Odds With: After speaking with Us about being on the outs with most of the cast, Bre’s situation seemingly only got worse when filming season 9. Bre has been called out by Chelsea, Chrishell and Emma, and if their offscreen drama is anything to go by, season 9 will show clear division between the cast.

Nicole Young

On Good Terms With: It remains unclear who Nicole’s allies are while they film season 9, but Amanza, Mary, Alanna and/or the Oppenheim brothers might be on the list.

At Odds With: Nearly everyone after a public feud with Chrishell got worse when Nicole started to vocalize her issues with Emma as well.

Amanza Smith

On Good Terms With: As Amanza weathered issues in her own life, she has largely stayed out of the drama with her costars on Selling Sunset.

At Odds With: While Amanza hasn’t spoken out about Bre vs. Chelsea, she did shut Nicole down when she brought up allegations against Emma on the show. Amanza previously worked out her issues with Chrishell, which involved a member of Amanza’s glam squad.

Jason and Brett Oppenheim

On Good Terms With: The Oppenheim twins just want their agents selling properties. While they sometimes weigh in on the drama (partly because many of the women in the office are Jason’s ex-girlfriends), they usually don’t choose sides.

At Odds With: Whoever isn’t bringing in money or selling homes.

All of the Biggest 'Selling Sunset' Feuds Throughout the Years

Mary Bonnet

On Good Terms With: Mary’s place in the brokerage means she largely isn’t at odds with anyone. She was also more focused on mourning her and Jason’s late dog in season 8 than getting involved in the drama.

At Odds With: After defending Nicole in the past, Mary questioned her friend’s behavior after Emma’s personal life was brought up on the show. Mary also defended Bre’s decision to tell Chelsea what she heard about her husband but has shown support for Bre as well.

Alanna Gold

On Good Terms With: With Alanna still being the new girl at the office, she’s largely friendly with everyone. But with season 9 currently filming, there’s still time for that to turn around.

At Odds With: Outside of her public misunderstanding with Pioneertown, Alanna has largely remained an observer. She did admit onscreen that Nicole raising speculation about Emma’s relationships wasn’t the best move.

Scottie Scheffler Responds to Rory McIlroy Masters Snub Accusations

16 April 2025 at 10:12

Scottie Scheffler addressed an awkward moment between himself and Rory McIlroy after his fellow golfer’s triumphant moment at the Masters.

Per tradition, Scheffler, the 2024 Masters champion, helped McIlroy, 35, put on the iconic Masters green jacket on Sunday, April 13, awarded annually to the tournament’s winner.

However, once Scheffler, 28, slipped McIlroy into the jacket, he noticeably scurried out of frame on the CBS broadcast without even giving McIlroy a congratulatory handshake.

“What’s the story with Scottie?” one viewer wrote via X after noticing the exchange, or lack thereof. “Not even a ‘well done’ & just melted away. Very awkward.”

Another golf fan on social media called Scheffler “classless” for appearing to slight McIlroy in the midst of his big moment.

Scheffler spoke to reporters on Tuesday, April 15, ahead of this weekend’s RBC Heritage in South Carolina, where he explained exactly what happened.

“In that moment, like it was such an emotional day for [McIlroy], I kind of just tried to stay out of the way and basically get the jacket on without embarrassing him or myself,” Scheffler said with a laugh.

Scheffler, who finished in 4th place at the 2025 Masters, revealed he was watching every dramatic moment of McIlroy’s sudden death playoff victory over Justin Rose — just like everybody else.

Rory McIlroy Didn't Mention Wife During Masters Chat With Amanda Balionis

“I got to watch the whole celebration. I watched the finish,” Scheffler said. “It was really cool for me to be able to see because I have — I don’t have the understanding of what it’s like to be asked about the career grand slam, but I have a small understanding of what it’s like to be asked, ‘Hey, you accomplished this, but you haven’t accomplished that.’ It can be very taxing on people sometimes.”

With his Masters victory, McIlroy became just the sixth golfer in history to win all four majors in their career, including the U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship.

Scheffler is a two-time Masters champion, also winning in 2022, but has never won another major tournament. He finished in a tie for second at both the 2022 U.S. Open and 2023 PGA Championship. Scheffler’s best finish at the Open Championship was a tie for seventh in 2024.

“It was cool to be able to see Rory get the job done,” Scheffler added. “Definitely from the outside it looked a lot more like relief than anything. Rory has accomplished everything in the game of golf, and that was really the last thing for him to accomplish. The guy has won the FedEx Cup, the Players, all four majors. Maybe the only other thing would be the Olympics is what he would want to win.”

The Who Fires Ringo Starr’s Son After Reported Onstage Disagreement

16 April 2025 at 10:08

English rock band The Who has reportedly fired its drummer, Zak Starkey, after an onstage incident during a show in March at Royal Albert Hall in London.

“The band made a collective decision to part ways with Zak after this round of shows at the Royal Albert Hall,” a representative for the band said in a statement to The Guardian on Wednesday, April 16. “They have nothing but admiration for him and wish him the very best for his future.”

The incident reportedly happened while the band was playing the final song of its set, “The Song Is Over.” Band frontman Roger Daltrey appeared to abruptly stop the performance, telling the crowd, “To sing that song I do need to hear the key, and I can’t. All I’ve got is drums going boom, boom, boom. I can’t sing to that. I’m sorry guys.”

Starkey, 59, is the son of Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and his first wife, Maureen Starkey. He appeared to pre-empt the announcement of his own dismissal with a statement via Instagram shared on Saturday, April 12.

Ringo Starr, 84, Says His Family Is ‘Fed Up’ With Him Considering Retirement

“Heard today from inside source that Toger Daktrey [sic] lead singer and principal songwriter of the group unhappy with Zak the drummer’s performance at the Albert Hall a few weeks ago is bringing formal charges of overplaying and is literally going to Zak the drummer,” he wrote in all caps beside a photo of him and Daltrey, 81.

Starkey’s run with The Who began in 1996 when he joined the group on its Quadrophenia Tour, following in the footsteps of longtime family friend and The Who’s original drummer, Keith Moon. He is also a member of the group Mantra of the Cosmos and has previously played with Oasis, Johnny Marr, Paul Weller and Graham Coxon.

Starkey made headlines earlier this year when he canceled a Mantra of the Cosmos performance after he developed a blood clot in his leg. After doctors recommended he take blood thinners and rest for two weeks so the clot would not worsen, the group axed the show just hours before it was scheduled to begin.

Days later, the drummer took to Instagram to thank his fans for their support.

“Thanks everyone for sending amazing amount of lovely get well wishes -thank u all- am on the mend and we have sold out of lt edition singles – we will try to got some more pressed with slightly different something about them asap,” he wrote in the January 27 post.

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki’s Relationship Timeline

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki were seemingly a perfect match — until their engagement abruptly ended over the phone years ago.

The golf pro and tennis star began dating in 2011, and they got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2013. Months later, McIlroy called off the engagement via a phone call.

“The problem is mine,” McIlroy said in a May 2014 statement. “The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realize that I wasn’t ready for all that marriage entails. I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we’ve had.”

While McIlroy and Wozniacki were linked, he met PGA transport official Erica Stoll, who helped him get to the Ryder Cup in 2012 after he overslept. After McIlroy and Wozniacki split, he began dating Stoll — whom he wed in April 2017. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2024 that McIlroy filed for divorce from Stoll after seven years of marriage. McIlroy and Stoll share daughter Poppy, who was born in September 2020.

Wozniacki, for her part, moved on with former NBA player David Lee, whom she wed in 2019. The pair have since welcomed daughter Olivia and son James in June 2021 and October 2022, respectively.

May 2014

McIlroy called off the engagement in May 2014. The twosome planned to wed that November. After releasing a statement about the separation, McIlroy described the separation as a mutual decision.

“It is quite a difficult time for Caroline and myself, and the statement really said it all this morning,” McIlroy said per ESPN at the BMW PGA Championship. “It was mutual, and we both thought it was the best for us, the best for both of us. Time to move on, and I’ve said all that I need to say.”

Reports subsequently circulated that McIlroy ended their relationship with a phone call — that lasted only a couple minutes. “Except that the last time he called, less than a day after telling her how much he loved her, it was a three-minute conversation she thought was a joke,” The Times wrote in a May 2014 article.

Months after the pair called it quits, Wozniacki opened up about the breakup.

“I was shocked. I thought at least it would be face to face or something but there was nothing. It was a phone call and I didn’t hear from him again,” Wozniacki said on In Depth with Graham Bensinger. “It was very hard because he made it very public from the start. He put out a press release and all of that so it just got put in my face.”

April 2025

Wozniacki was present at the 2025 Masters and did an interview with ESPN but made no mention of her ex. After McIlroy won the tournament, a source exclusively told Us that Wozniacki “has moved on with her life.”

“She has two beautiful children and a third on the way and a loving husband in David Lee,” the insider noted. “The Rory stuff is water under the bridge at this point. She was invited to the Masters and she’s a huge sports fan and David is an avid golfer.”

Travis Kelce Just Shared His 'American Pie' Origin Story — IYKYK

16 April 2025 at 10:02

Travis Kelce is proving his place on the board of Taylor Swift‘s Tortured Poets Department.

During the Wednesday, April 16, episode of “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, asked his brother, Jason Kelce, about the first R-rated movie he remembered seeing. Jason, 37, couldn’t think of a title offhand, but Travis knew his own pick right away.

“The one I remember watching that I didn’t even realize was rated R was American Pie, and that was when we were, like, 10,” Travis said. “I feel like I had to have watched a couple before that.”

When Jason insisted that their dad, Ed Kelce, couldn’t have approved the movie, Travis revealed that he didn’t see it with their mom, Donna Kelce, either.

Travis Kelce Sings Along to Taylor Swift's 'So High School' Performance

“I was just f***ing going to the movies,” Travis recalled. “I forget how I got in … I might have been there with someone else’s parents.”

The reference to American Pie sent alarm bells ringing for Swifties online, with one fan account immediately clocking the connection to the song “So High School.”

“I’m watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night 🤣,” the X user wrote on Wednesday alongside a clip from the podcast.

“So High School” appears on the Anthology version of Swift’s 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April 2024. Swift surprised fans at the time with the extended double album, which brought the tracklist to 31 songs in total.

While much of TTPD is a reflection on Swift’s relationships with and splits from Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, listeners also dug for nods to her romance with Travis, which began in summer 2023.

“You knew what you wanted and, boy, you got her,” Swift sings on “So High School,” which fans believe is a shout-out to how Travis attempted to make his first move with a friendship bracelet at an Eras Tour concert in Kansas City.

The song is also loaded with football references, from “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle” to “I feel like laughing in the middle of practice.”

Taylor Swift’s ‘So High School’ Lyric Video Includes Travis Kelce Shout-Out

Swift snuck more sports nods onto “The Alchemy,” which appears at the end of TTPD‘s standard edition. “So when I touch down / Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team / Ditch the clowns, get the crown / Baby I’m the one to beat,” she sings in the chorus.

In the bridge, she seemingly gushes over a moment she shared on the field with Travis after the Chiefs won the 2024 Super Bowl, which she attended with a group of her A-list friends. “Where’s the trophy? / He just comes running over to me,” Swift sings.

Swift made her second Super Bowl appearance earlier this year with a very different result. Travis and the Chiefs were defeated by Jason’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, in February. Since then, the couple have laid low.

“Taylor and Travis are doing great, and they’re still very much together and in love. They’re just taking a break from the public eye,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month.

A second insider added that the pair are “enjoying some R&R after working their butts off, making the most of their time off” and “fully living their best lives.”

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied's Relationship Timeline

16 April 2025 at 09:44

Natalie Portman and her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied, met on the set of her film Black Swan in 2009.

“I think I was in, like, dreamland. So, it was pretty … it seemed pretty fun the whole time,” Portman said of getting to know Millepied during a June 2018 interview on Sirius XM’s Town Hall.

Portman thanked Millepied while accepting the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in Black Swan in 2011. At the time, she and Millepied were engaged and expecting their first child together. The couple welcomed their son, Aleph, in June 2011, and went on to tie the knot in August 2012. Their daughter, Amalia, was born in 2017.

The two worked together again on the 2018 film Vox Lux, in which Portman starred as fictional pop star Celeste Montgomery. Millepied choreographed her dance scenes.

Five years later, Us Weekly confirmed that the pair had separated after 11 years of marriage. Their split news came shortly after rumors spread that Millepied had been unfaithful. Their divorce was finalized in March 2024.

The couple met on the set of Portman’s film Black Swan, for which Millepied was a choreographer. “It was, like, I really got to know him and then that is when it seemed, ‘Oh, right, this is the person,’” she shared during a June 2018 interview on Sirius XM's Town Hall.
They began dating soon after.

The duo announced they were engaged and expecting their first child together. “The pregnancy was a bit of a shock,” an insider close to Portman told Us in January 2011. “He proposed after they found out. They are happy, and all is right.”

Portman and Millepied welcomed their first child together, son Aleph, in June. “I love being a mum, but it’s much more intensive work than being an actress – going to work feels like you’ve got a day off,” the No Strings Attached actress told Elle UK in September 2013.

Millepied sang his wife’s praises when asked about her portrayal of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the 2016 biopic Jackie in an interview with Variety. "I saw the movie, and I think she’s exceptional in it. I thought [the film] is exceptional, and rich and detailed. I’m really happy for her,” he told the outlet.

The couple expanded their family, welcoming their daughter, Amalia. Portman told The New York Times in 2016 that being a mother made her “much calmer under stress, because there's that weird parent thing you develop, that when things get really bad, your voice gets calm and your blood pressure slows, and you can make everything okay again.”

Portman collaborated with her husband once again on the film Vox Lux. The Annihilation actress played pop star Celeste Montgomery and Millepied choreographed the dance scenes.
“My husband choreographed the performance that she has at the end … it was so fun,” she told Extra. “It was kind of like living out my childhood dreams of, like, being a pop star and having a microphone and then, you know, getting to work with my husband which is always so fun."

Nearly 10 years after they said, “I do,” the couple gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes during their photo opportunities at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty.

"Ten years today @benjaminmillepied, and it keeps getting better…" the actress gushed via Instagram while celebrating the pair's decade of love. Famous friends — from Kerry Washington to Alexis Ohanian — wished the couple the best on their big day in the comments.

When it comes to his and Portman's work lives, Millepied exclusively told Us that they view themselves as "two artists with different ambitions and interests," adding, "But of course we share what’s going on, and I’m sending her a new script that I finished."

© Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The Brothers actress felt “humiliated” by allegations that Millepied cheated on her with a younger woman, a source exclusively told Us.
“Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was a brief and stupid liaison that means nothing to him,” the insider stated, adding that Portman is "willing to see if she's capable of rebuilding her trust" in her husband to make sure their children don't "grow up in a broken home."
However, a second source said it's unclear whether the two will be able to mend their relationship following the accusations. Noting that Millepied “regrets” his actions, the source told Us: “Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children."

Us confirmed that Portman and Millepied separated after 11 years of marriage following his alleged affair. “After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,” an insider exclusively told Us of the duo.
Another source later told Us that Portman had “no doubt he regrets what he did, but that “things just haven’t been the same” since the affair drama. “It was a really humiliating scenario for Natalie,” they explained.
A separate source added that the exes “tried to work things out” to no avail. “The damage was done. She couldn’t forgive him and is taking a break for now,” the insider told Us.

A source exclusively told Us that Portman and Millepied were “being very civil toward each other for the kids,” adding, “Benjamin would’ve love[d] to have Natalie back, but she’s not interested.”
Their divorce was finalized that same month.

Portman subtly addressed Millepied while opening up about their children in a profile for Interview magazine. When asked by Jenna Ortega whether having kids helped her find “balance” in life, she stated, “Having kids, that wasn’t really my motivation. I was just excited to have kids, and with a person that I was in love with. But it’s really important to have people in your life who keep you on the ground.”

Serena Williams Addresses Stephen A. Smith Saying He'd Divorce Her Over Dance

16 April 2025 at 09:15

Serena Williams denied that her now-infamous “crip walk” at the 2025 Super Bowl was a direct shot at her ex-boyfriend Drake.

“Absolutely not,” Williams, 43, told TIME in a profile published on Wednesday, April 16. “I would never do that. And that was sad, that anyone would ever think that.”

She added, “I respect how they could. Obviously, I can see how someone would think that. But, absolutely not. I have never had negative feelings towards him. We’ve known him for so many years.”

Williams made a blink-and-you-missed-it cameo during Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance of “Not Like Us,”  a Grammy-winning song heavily rumored to be about Lamar’s feud with 38-year-old Drake. The tennis champ replicated the celebratory dance she did after winning the “Golden Slam” title in 2012 on the NFL stage.

Serena Williams Doesn't 'Have Time for Petty' After Super Bowl Backlash

“I don’t know if I regret it or not,” Williams, who reportedly dated Drake in 2015, added to TIME. “I don’t know the answer to that.”

The cameo soon sparked widespread backlash and criticism. ESPN host Stephen A. Smith even claimed that, if he were married to Williams, he would have divorced her solely over the Super Bowl appearance.

“I thought it was hilarious,” Williams said. “He’s allowed to have his personal opinion. But did you see my husband’s remark? It was so eloquent.”

Williams is married to Alexis Ohanian, with whom she shares two daughters. In February, he responded to Smith, 57, via X, writing, “This is bigger than the music.” Williams concurs with Ohanian’s stance.

Alexis Ohanian Defends Wife Serena Williams’ Super Bowl Halftime Cameo

“And I’m like, dude, like, we literally are investing in the world, both of us,” she said. “We’re investing in women and in sports. This is literally the last thing on our minds. Come on.”

According to Williams, she and Ohanian, 41, were more concerned with meeting pop star Taylor Swift at the big game. (Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, who ultimately lost the Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles.)

“I’m such a mom. I was ready to go in here myself and be like, ‘Taylor, come get this girl.’ It’s hard when your team is losing,” Williams recalled to TIME, noting she wanted to secure an autograph for daughter Olympia. “I totally get it. My husband and I, we’re so in a different space. We’re so connected, we’re so in love [and] we’re just, like, trying to get our daughter Taylor Swift autographs. And nothing else.”

Sydney Sweeney Wears Wedding Dress on ‘Euphoria’ Set Amid Her IRL Breakup

16 April 2025 at 09:15

Sydney Sweeney had yet another bridal moment amid her split from Jonathan Davino.

Sweeney, 27, was seen wearing a wedding gown while filming season 3 of HBO’s Euphoria, per fan footage shared via X on Tuesday, April 15. In the brief clip, the actress, who plays Cassie Howard in the series, looked stunning in a white A-line gown featuring a strapless neckline that hugged her curves, a thigh-high slit and a billowing skirt complete with an extra-long train.

The actress, who Us Weekly exclusively revealed called off her wedding to Davino last month, styled the look with a long tulle veil, mile-high white pumps and a choker necklace. Her blonde tresses were styled in a half-up coiffure with her curtain bangs framing her face.

This isn’t the first bridal look Sweeney has donned since splitting with Davino, 41. Earlier this month, she rocked a Wiederhoeft look straight from their Spring 2025 runway and bridal collection while promoting The Housemaid at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Her look included a strapless satin corset that sculpted her figure. She tucked the top into a low-waisted skirt that cascaded to the floor. She tied her look together with a satin belt complete with silver hardware and coordinating jewelry.

In March, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that the duo “have been having major issues but are not fully split.” The insider added, “Things are not great right now, but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”

Mere days later, another source told Us they “officially” broke up after seven years together. “Sydney and Jonathan are officially split,” the insider said, explaining she was “telling friends she is single.”

“They were supposed to get married this spring,” the source said. “The wedding is not happening, and they aren’t having further discussions about it. Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress.”

Following her split, fans wondered if Sweeney was moving on with her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell after she attended his sister’s wedding, but his mom, Cyndy Powell, said the twosome are just “really close friends.”

Portraits of Val Kilmer as Batman Are Now on the Moon — Really

16 April 2025 at 09:14

The late Val Kilmer is now immortalized as Batman on the moon. Seriously, there’s a portrait of him as Batman, and that artwork is sitting on the actual moon right now.

Space Blue — a global art, media and production house — confirmed earlier this month that Kilmer was one of several celebrities whose artifacts made it to the moon. Let’s back up, shall we?

Director Dallas Santana, Space Blue founder, launched a time capsule into space in February 2024. Attached to the Lunar Lander Odysseus — the first private lunar landing — was the Lunaprise Museum, which had 222 art projects on board curated by Santana and Space Blue.

Remo Camatero, the art director of the late actor’s Kamp Kilmer, included an art piece Camatero created which depicted the actor Batman in the image. This piece of artwork will stay in the museum on the moon, which is set to last for over one billion years.

Val Kilmer Wore Batman Mask in Instagram Video Weeks Before His Death

Before his death, Kilmer — who moonlighted as an artist — would often share his artwork on Instagram. The actor frequently painted himself as Batman, a character he portrayed in the 1995 film Batman Forever. Kilmer founded the virtual platform Kamp Kilmer in 2020 as “a place of collaboration, creativity, and true connection between people through art,” according to the website.

News broke on April 1 that Kilmer had died from pneumonia at age 65.

“Thank you for honoring our extraordinary father’s memory,” Kilmer’s family shared in a statement days after the death news. “We are so proud of him and honored to see his legacy celebrated. At this time, we would like to grieve privately.”

The actor is survived by daughter Mercedes Kilmer and son Jack Kilmer, whom he shared with ex-wife Joanne Whalley.

A death certificate obtained by TMZ on Thursday, April 10, confirmed that pneumonia was Kilmer’s immediate cause of death, but hypoxemic respiratory failure, chronic respiratory failure and squamous cell carcinoma of the base of the tongue were listed as underlying causes. Malnutrition and a tracheocutaneous fistula were also contributing factors.

Val Kilmer’s Best Movie Roles Through the Years

Kilmer battled throat cancer, getting diagnosed in 2015 and denying any illness publicly. He eventually confirmed his throat cancer battle in 2017, noting that he was in the clear. The actor eventually discussed the disease in his 2021 documentary, Val.

“I can’t speak without plugging this hole [in my throat],” he said at the time. “You have to make the choice to breathe or to eat.”

He called it “an obstacle,” noting that he sounded “much worse” than he felt at the time.

“I have behaved bizarrely to some,” Kilmer continued. “I deny none of this and have no regrets because I have lost and found parts of myself that I never knew existed. I am blessed.”

Christie Brinkley Details Falling ‘Hopelessly in Love' With Billy Joel

16 April 2025 at 09:04

Christie Brinkley recalls falling “hopelessly in love” with Billy Joel in her upcoming memoir, Uptown Girl.

While describing their first meeting at a St. Barts’ dive motel bar in 1983, Brinkley, 71, noted Joel, 75, “definitely didn’t look like a rock star” in People’s except of the book.

“The man was sunburned to a crisp, his face the same color as cranberries and unctuous with oil, which he’d undoubtedly slathered on to soothe the burn, topped by what I like to call ‘the Long Island bubble:’ a carapace of curly shellacked hair popular in the 1980s in parts of suburban New York,” she wrote.

Brinkley, who initially wasn’t sure whether his name was Billy Joel or Billy Joe, recalled the pair laughing “like you couldn’t believe” during their whirlwind romance.

“But also he was so sensitive and he did all the old-fashioned things, the flowers, the notes and the poems and the songs,” she wrote. “He was going into the recording studio and he was writing all these songs and saying ‘This one’s for you.’ How could I not fall in love with him? When I heard him sing on stage, I found myself undeniably attached to this physically hot and charismatic man.”

Brinkley shared that she and Joel coined nicknames for each other — “Bada Bing” and “Bada Boom” — because they were “really like teenagers falling in love.” She added, “We were suddenly fumbling and stuttering and dropping things.”

Brinkley also recalled their elaborate meals, writing, “We were the biggest, greatest Italians making Italian food. Si, Christie …. And then we’d start dancing.”

The model and Joel tied the knot in 1985 and welcomed daughter Alexa later that year. After nearly a decade of marriage, Brinkley and Joel divorced in 1994.

“To be clear, I never wanted to end things with Billy,” she wrote. “But his drinking was bigger than the both of us.”

Now, while reflecting on the end of their romance, Brinkley added, “In the end, when the relationship isn’t functioning the way you want it to be anymore — that’s the worst kind of loneliness because you just can’t make it work together and that’s painful.”

Brinkley — who went on to wed Richard Taubman in 1994 (calling it quits in 1995) and Peter Cook in 1996 — shared that she and Joel have remained friends through the years, calling their relationship “great.” (Brinkley is also mom to son Jack, whom she and Taubman welcomed in 1995 and daughter Sailor, whom she and Cook welcomed in 1998. Joel, for his part, is dad to daughters Della, 9, and Remy, 7, whom he shares with wife Alexis Roderick.)

”He lives mainly in Florida so we don’t see him as much as when he lived in Sag Harbor, but when he comes by to see Alexa, he’ll come in and say hello,” she noted.

When it comes to reading Joel new book, Brinkley shared, “Alexa described it to him and he’s like, ‘Sounds good, no problem.’”

Lisa Vanderpump Reveals Which 'VPR' Stars She Does — And Doesn't — Talk To

16 April 2025 at 09:00

Once a SURver, always a SURver? Not exactly.

In Us Weekly‘s new cover story ahead of Vanderpump Villa‘s return on April 24, Lisa Vanderpump reflected on her reality TV career — including what made Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules stand out, saying, “For me, Vanderpump Rules was more of a business show about mentoring, nurturing, dealing with all the dynamics. It wasn’t so intrusive personally.”

Vanderpump Rules began as a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which Vanderpump starred on from 2010 to 2019. The series became its own cultural phenomenon as Vanderpump expanded her TV universe with Vanderpump Villa, Vanderpump Dogs and Overserved With Lisa Vanderpump.

Vanderpump’s staff was ultimately the draw and Vanderpump Rules specifically introduced Us to Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Ariana Madix and Jax Taylor. Most of the reality stars no longer work at SUR but their lives have kept viewers at the edge of their seats.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast: Then and Now

The drama, however, became too much and the fallout of the Scandoval drama in 2023 affected the cast moving forward.

“It didn’t make sense anymore. I’d always said I would rather quit when we’re on top,” Vanderpump told Us about the season 12 overhaul. “I do not want to go down on a sinking ship. The group was splintered — it was done.”

Bravo ultimately confirmed in November 2024 that Vanderpump Rules will be returning, but with an entirely new cast. The show has since started filming and Vanderpump is excited for fans to see what is to come.

“It’s very rare that you see behind the scenes of a restaurant because no other restaurant is crazy enough to do that,” she teased. “When you get a lot of young, hot people, it always gets complicated.”

But with onscreen changes come shifts behind the scenes. In the aftermath of the cast overhaul, Vanderpump stayed in touch with some former VPR stars — but not all. Keep scrolling for a breakdown of where Vanderpump stands with each VPR alum:

Jax Taylor

Taylor, 45, was on Vanderpump Rules from 2013 until 2020. After welcoming son Cruz with then-wife Brittany Cartwright, the twosome joined the VPR spinoff The Valley (and called it quits).

Vanderpump hasn’t been in contact with Taylor recently, telling Us, “When they had Cruz [in 2021], I sent them all gifts — even though they were gone from the show. But no, I’m not really close to Jax. I think Jax kind of shot himself in the foot when he left. I looked at him and he was like, ‘This is my show.’ And I was just like, ‘No, this is my show. Bye.'”

Kristen Doute

Doute, 42, was another OG cast member from VPR who made the move to The Valley. But before she signed on for the spinoff, Doute was fired in June 2020 alongside Schroeder, 36, due to past racially insensitive behavior toward former costar Faith Stowers.

“I can’t let my good sense interfere with my choice as a producer [on The Valley]. I never really got along with her. She always made things complicated — even as a waitress [at SUR]. That’s probably why she was there in that group in the first place and she was intrinsically entwined with them,” Vanderpump told Us. “I make no secret of the fact that I’ve never been close to her. But if she’s part of a group, it’s about the authentic story.”

Vanderpump clarified she doesn’t “have a lot to do” with The Valley, adding, “Obviously they came from my show that I created. I’m involved with that with Jax and Brittany but I don’t really have a lot to do with that show. I’m executive producer but I think the people are good TV. They want to do it and they have a different perspective. You don’t always have to like somebody to enjoy them.”

Biggest 'Vanderpump Rules' Feuds Ever — and Where the Relationships Stand

Ariana Madix

Vanderpump had nothing but well wishes for Madix, 39, telling Us, “I love all of them for all their mishaps, foibles … everything. I do love all of them because it’s such an unusual experience to go through reality TV — even behind the scenes — to be there and be somebody that’s been a huge part of orchestrating it.”

She continued: “I brought [Ariana] from Villa Blanca into the show. I’m just glad she’s doing well. She knows that she has my support. … The fact that she’s happy in a relationship [with boyfriend Daniel Wai], I always said, ‘Don’t get mad. Just get even and then some.'”

Tom Sandoval

Two years after Sandoval’s affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, Sandoval, 42, remained in the public eye with appearances on Fox’s Special Forces and Peacock’s The Traitors.

“I don’t know the public perception. But he’s a very individual character and I think people have probably seen that [on The Traitors]. I haven’t watched it because having nighttime businesses, I don’t really have time to watch TV,” Vanderpump noted to Us. “But I hope that he is doing well and I always wish them well.”

Stassi Schroeder

Schroeder took a break from reality TV for five years before reuniting with Vanderpump on season 2 of Vanderpump Villa.

“There was a definite feel-good factor about her coming onto the show. We had a lot of fun together. It felt right,” Vanderpump shared before addressing Schroeder’s 2020 firing from VPR. “She is responsible. She’s definitely still Stassi, which separates her from most people and says things that most people wouldn’t even think of. But there’s an essence of responsibility for sure — that continually growth and responsibility.”

She continued: “I think [her husband] Beau [Clark] is very good for her. But she’s playful. I have great banter with her and she’s essentially the same.”

James Kennedy

Us confirmed in December 2024 that police were dispatched to the home Kennedy, 33, shared with then-girlfriend Ally Lewber in response to a call about an argument between a man and a woman. Kennedy was booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. According to police records, the victim — who was not immediately identified as Lewber — told the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.”

Kennedy and Lewber, 29, denied the abuse allegations and he ultimately did not face any charges.

“I give people chances. I believe people [mess] up and then they learn from it and they have to. But it’s like with James where he was in the headlines recently. I’ve had so much patience with him and I was so happy to see him with Ally doing so well,” she recalled. “I know [addiction is] a disease and we talk about that and you just at some point I had to say, ‘I cannot support this anymore’ with some people when they keep making the same mistakes. So that’s frustrating for sure.”

Vanderpump recalled speaking to Kennedy after his arrest.

“I said, ‘Before I speak to you, I want to speak to Ally and I want to understand it completely.’ So it was when she talked to me and reassured me and they were taking their time apart,” she recalled their last interaction. “I said, ‘I think that’s the best thing.’ But as I said, ‘People continually make mistakes when they’re young.’ So how they grow from it, that’s important to me.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast's Biggest Scandals and Controversies

“I did talk to Ally at great length [after the arrest] and she did reassure me that nothing happened physically,” Vanderpump claimed about Kennedy’s December 2024 arrest. “They were just in a drunken nonsense. She did say nothing like that happened. I would have to talk to her to be reassured of that.”

Scheana Shay

“I haven’t spoken to Scheana but she almost grew up with me. She was at Villa Blanca for quite a few years. They’re all doing OK and I think Scheana is doing OK. Thankfully she’s got somebody loyal by her side [husband Brock Davies] because she had a hell of a roller coaster with different relationships,” Vanderpump noted. “I heard that she was on The Masked Singer, which is something that I know she would love because she talked about being on Dancing With the Stars.”

Vanderpump pointed out that she “can’t talk” to everyone from the show “all the time.”

“Remember, I have 700 people that work for me,” she added. “As long as they know I’m always there if they need me.”

Tom Schwartz

Vanderpump confirmed she talks to Schwartz “quite a lot” these days. She also weighed in on Schwartz’s business with Sandoval, adding, “[Before the VPR overhaul], most of them had been smart and built something on their own. It was hard to see the boys go through the whole thing with Schwartz and Sandy’s [closing]. That was very, very difficult to see them go through that.”

Lala Kent

“I’ve always pulled her back in like with Stassi [where I have said], ‘You can do this. You’ve got this.’ We would often have intense conversations about being authentic. We talked about that always like, ‘Don’t tell us what you think we want to hear. Tell us how you feel,'” Vanderpump recalled. “But I love all of them. They’re frustrating. But over the years I’ve had an incredible time. Even through the downtimes of reality, I still would hardly change anything about it.”

Natalie Portman Makes Rare Comment About Kids With Ex Benjamin Millepied

16 April 2025 at 08:53

Natalie Portman gave rare insight into life with her two kids, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied.

“My kids are always a source of excitement, because you just see them develop into the individuals they are,” Portman, 43, told Jenna Ortega in an Interview magazine profile published on Tuesday, April 15. “And also, I’ve been spending a lot of time with my friends, with their kids and my kids; that’s pretty fun.”

Portman subtly addressed her ex when asked whether having kids helped her find a “balance” between her professional and private lives. “Having kids, that wasn’t really my motivation,” she said. “I was just excited to have kids, and with a person that I was in love with. But it’s really important to have people in your life who keep you on the ground.”

Portman and Millepied, 47, met on the set of their film Black Swan in 2009. They welcomed their eldest child, son Aleph, one year before they tied the knot in 2012. Their family continued to grow with the birth of their daughter, Amalia, in 2017.

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied's Relationship Timeline

The pair kept their children out of the spotlight before their August 2023 split. Us Weekly confirmed that Portman and Millepied called it quits after 11 years of marriage amid rumors that he was unfaithful.

“After news of his affair came out, they’ve been trying to work on their marriage but are currently on the outs,” a source exclusively told Us at the time.

A second insider shared that Portman had “no doubt he regrets what he did,” but that their relationship hadn’t “been the same” since.

Portman has remained relatively quiet about the breakup, but she spoke about the attention on her personal life in a February 2024 interview. “It’s terrible, and I have no desire to contribute to it,” she told Vanity Fair.

Shortly before Portman and Millepied finalized their divorce in March 2024, a third insider exclusively told Us that the exes were “being very civil toward each other for the kids,” adding, “Benjamin would’ve love[d] to have Natalie back, but she’s not interested.”

The choreographer moved on with a mystery woman in October 2024, whom he was spotted kissing in Paris. “Natalie isn’t surprised that Benjamin has moved on because of how their relationship ended,” a source told Us the following month. “She thought he’d move on pretty quickly.”

News broke last month that Portman has sparked a romance of her own with French musician Tanguy Destable. “Natalie and Tanguy have been seeing each other for a few months,” an insider exclusively told Us on March 10. “[It hasn’t been] too long, but they are having a great time together.”

The source went on to note that Portman is “really into” Destable’s “outgoing and boisterous” personality and that the two share a “few mutual friends.” A separate insider added, “Natalie is very happy with Tanguy.”
