Country singer Ingrid Andress felt the support of her community after sparking backlash with her drunk national anthem performance last summer.

Andress, 33, spoke for the first time about the now-viral mishap — which resulted in her checking into rehab — on the Thursday, March 6, episode of Nick Viall‘s “Viall Files” podcast. Andress said it was “really meaningful” that other musicians rallied around her in that moment.

“I was expecting no one to reach out, but there was just so much outpouring of love from female country artists in Nashville,” she said. “I actually felt, like, so loved and seen going into rehab.”

Andress named Elle King and Kelsea Ballerini as being among the artists who sent her support. “Elle King was like, ‘This is just all part of it, girl,'” Andress recalled. “She’s obviously been there before, too. … And that really meant a lot to me.”

In June 2024, Andress sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the MLB Home Run Derby in Arlington, Texas, and her rendition quickly made headlines. One day after the event, Andress announced she was seeking professional help.

“I’m not gonna bulls— y’all, I was drunk last night,” she wrote in an Instagram statement at the time. “I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun.”

As she reflected on the mishap on Thursday, Andress admitted that she “was really loving the numbing feeling” that she had after drinking. “It wasn’t until I woke up the next day where I was like, ‘OK, this is so unlike me.’ Like, ‘This is not OK.’ … Because I actually walked out [onto the field] and did not care. I was just like, ‘I don’t care how this goes,'” she said.

Andress was “so f—ed up” that she initially thought she “kind of nailed” her performance. “My best friend called me after I got off the field and I remember briefly talking to her. She’s like, ‘So how do you think that went?’ … She was very delicate,” Andress recalled.

The songwriter added that when she woke up the next morning, she didn’t have much recollection of the performance, which was “terrifying.” At that point, she made the decision to call her management and go to rehab.

“It only took, you know, global humiliation for me to be like, ‘This is a problem,'” she joked. (Andress recently performed the anthem again at a Colorado Avalanche hockey game, her first public event since the MLB incident.)

King, meanwhile, gave her own drunken performance at the Grand Ole Opry in January 2024 during a tribute to Dolly Parton. “I’ll tell you one thing more: ‘Hi, my name is Elle King [and] I’m f—ing hammered,'” she said in footage from the event shared online.

Several months later, King revealed on the “Dear Chelsea” podcast that she was going through something “very heavy and traumatic,” which led to her “big no-no” on stage. “I suffer from severe PTSD. That day, I hadn’t eaten, I hadn’t slept in days, and I was really overwhelmed. I was like a shell of myself,” she explained in May 2024. “I take one shot too many, and I’m just not there in my body, I’m not there. I don’t remember it. … I was mortified.”

King said she apologized to both the Opry and Parton, who told her, “Well, Dolly’s not mad at you, why should the world be?”

After welcoming her fourth child last year, Jessie James Decker was disappointed her body wasn’t bouncing back as quickly as she hoped.

“Even after I stopped nursing, I was like, ‘Wow, [the weight] is not coming off as fast as it did before. I’m going to have to really go for it this time,’” Decker, 36, exclusively shares in the latest issue of Us Weekly.

With a goal in mind (“I wanted to be back to where I was before, or as close as I could [get] to it,” she explains), the singer leveled up her workout routine with cardio, F45 training and pickleball, and incorporated intermittent fasting into her diet. Now, the results speak for themselves — and the mom of four is feeling a type of confidence that only comes with age.

“As I’ve gotten older, I like the way I look now more than I did when I was 23,” she says.

When you’re shopping for a swimsuit, you really have to think about your body and what works for you. What’s beautiful about this collection is that there’s something for every single body type.

What styles do you tend to find the most flattering?

I love ribbed material. I have a pretty intense C-section scar, so I’m always self-conscious choosing swimsuits that cover it, and we really did a great job selecting bottoms. There’s certain cuts that are sexy, but thick enough [that] you’re covered, [and] still showing a little something, something!

You gave birth just a year ago. How was your experience modeling the bathing suits?

I had [difficult] moments, I’ll be honest. I remember putting on a bikini and walking down the steps [to] the grass, and [thinking], “Oh my God, this is so uncomfortable.” But as soon as they started taking pictures and they turned the monitor around to show me, I [thought], “I don’t look so bad!” I felt confident, ready and strong. It felt really good to put it all out there.

Did you have a goal weight?

I knew what I weighed before and around that ballpark felt good to me. I love where I’m at [now] because I put in the time building the muscle. I like being toned, muscular and really strong.

What worked for you this time around?

I like to intermittent fast and I don’t eat first thing in the morning. I wake up, have coffee, drink water and go to the gym. Maybe a couple hours later, I’ll have a chicken salad with rice. I eat what I want at dinner because I’m on the lighter side throughout the day. Cutting out alcohol and trying not to eat past 6 p.m. is a game changer. If you’re going to have alcohol, [drink] Prosecco. There’s not that many calories and sugar.

You tapped Eric to appear with you in the swim campaign. How has he been supportive in other ways?

Eric could not work out for six months and have a bag of donuts every day, and [he’d still] look like a Greek god. We can definitely be that fitness couple. I don’t love working out with him though, because he gets bossy. [But] he’s so supportive. He thinks I’m pretty no matter what, even when I’m having a hard day or after I’ve had a baby [and] I’m not feeling like myself. I look for it in his face and he never flinches. He tells me I look pretty the way that I am.

How’s life with your family of six? Any plans to expand your brood in the future?

Well, [Eric] is snipped, so if I were to get knocked up again, it’s because of that two percent chance! Denver’s starting to walk, which is cool. We’re obviously not sleeping very much, [but] it’s amazing to be able to do it all over again. It’s fun that the kids are older and getting to do this with us, watching their little baby brother grow up. Eric and I look at each other and we’re like, how did we get here? It’s been really special for our family.

The Royals Have 2 Last Names

Before 1917, the royal family technically didn’t have last names and therefore individual royals used their royal title or “house” as a substitute. This changed when King George V started using the name of his royal house, Windsor, as a last name.

When Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, married Prince Philip in 1947, they combined their last names to be Mountbatten-Windsor.

This name is usually given to royals without HRH (His or Her Royal Highness) or prince/princess titles who wouldn’t already have a royal house to use as a substitute for a last name.

As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, didn’t have titles at the time of their respective births, they were given the last name Mountbatten-Windsor.

The children were made a prince and a princess respectively after their grandfather, King Charles III, took the throne on September 8, 2022. Archie and Lilibet’s royal “house” subsequently became Sussex to reflect the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles held by Harry and Meghan since their wedding in 2018.

It is not known whether the children’s names have been legally changed to reflect the title change, though it’s worth noting the royal website refers to them as “Prince Archie of Sussex” and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex.”

“It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children,” Meghan said in an interview with People on Monday, March 3. “I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me.”

This practice is not uncommon among the royal family. For example, when Prince Charles was named the Prince of Wales in 1958, Wales became his royal house. This was also inherited by Princess Diana, Harry and Prince William, who used Wales as a last name while growing up.

The brothers also used the name Wales while serving in the U.K. military.

Similarly, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, previously used the last name York to honor their parents’ titles Duke and Duchess of York.

However, Beatrice and Eugenie’s last names have since been changed to their husband’s names. For example, Beatrice’s name is styled on the royal website as “Princess Beatrice, Mrs. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi,” while Eugenie’s is styled as “Princess Eugenie, Mrs. Jack Brooksbank.”

Titles are usually only used as last names in situations when a last name is officially or legally required. Princess Kate Middleton, for example, has never publicly asked to be called “Kate Wales,” and instead uses her formal title, the Princess of Wales.

The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant is giving an update on Karen Huger after she was sentenced to prison last month.

The RHOP original told Andy Cohen on his Andy Cohen Live radio show that she has had no contact with Karen, 61, since she was imprisoned on February 26, but she has been in touch with Karen’s husband, Ray.

“I have reached out to Ray. He’s keeping the circle that’s going to be contacting Karen very tight. As of right now, I’m not on it,” Gizelle, 54, said on the Wednesday, March 5, episode of Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show. “But he’s open.”

Gizelle also revealed that all of the RHOP cast have rallied around Ray, 79, as he deals with his wife’s imprisonment.

“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s lawyer, A. Scott Bolden, said in a statement to People at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”

Cohen weighed in on Karen’s sentencing during the Monday, March 3, episode of Andy Cohen Live.

“We haven’t been on since Karen was sentenced, and I don’t have much to say,” Cohen, 56, said. “I will say, I am thinking of Karen every day. I’ve been thinking about her a lot and I’m so sad about this. I’m so sad about how this entire thing has played out.”

While Cohen stated that he is a “Karen fan,” he made it clear that drunk driving “is no joke” and was surprised to hear from a Potomac judge that Karen had previous legal troubles involving alcohol.

“It’s so bad, so that this was her fourth situation was tough to hear and I’m not surprised that the judge was not playing, you know?” he explained. “I’m not surprised at all, and then hearing what I heard on the reunion last night from Gizelle [Bryant] who said that she heard that she was offered a plea and home confinement for six months. Who were her lawyers that were recommending to go to trial on this when they knew there was body cam footage like that? I mean, it’s so sad.”

Gizelle previously said she was “shook” to learn her costar would be spending time behind bars.

“I do not have her wigs. I am concerned,” Gizelle said during her Gizelle 21 Shady Questions Live at City Winery event on February 26. “In all seriousness, I am concerned for her safety. Karen ain’t cut out for jail. I pray that she’s OK and that the Lord is with her.”

A day later, RHOP costar Ashley Darby, 36, said she “cried like a baby” after learning of Karen’s sentencing.

Fellow Housewife Wendy Osefo also shared her reaction exclusively with Us Weekly. “I was definitely shocked, but I’m just keeping her in my prayers because I’m sure it’s a very difficult time for her,” Osefo, 40, told Us at the 18th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 27.

Bhad Bhabie’s boyfriend, Le Vaughn, was shot in the hand during an altercation at a Los Angeles strip club, reports TMZ.

According to the outlet, Le Vaughn was injured early Wednesday, March 5, after two groups of men opened fire inside Sam’s Hofbrau near downtown L.A. The rapper’s boyfriend was shot in the hand and another person was hit in the shoulder, TMZ reported, citing the Los Angeles Police Department.

A suspect reportedly managed to evade arrest by getting away in a white G-Wagon.

Jennie Garth is criticizing the 2025 Oscars for snubbing the late Shannen Doherty in its “In Memoriam” segment.

Garth, 52, shared her thoughts with TMZ in an encounter posted on Wednesday, March 5. When a reporter for the outlet approached her on the street and asked about the snub, the actress replied, “Yeah, that’s messed up.”

While Doherty was not included in the montage, which played during the Sunday, March 2, ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, she was listed as one of the names that Hollywood lost in 2024-2025 on the official Academy website. 90210’s James Eckhouse Mourns Shannen Doherty in Touching Tribute

Garth and Doherty starred in the hit TV show Beverly Hills, 90210, which aired from 1990 to 2000. Garth stayed in the cast for the whole 10 years, while Doherty departed after four seasons.

In July 2024, Doherty died at age 53 following a long battle with cancer. Garth was one of the first of Doherty’s former costars to speak out in the wake of her death. 

“I am still processing my tremendous grief over the loss of my long time friend Shannen,” Garth shared via Instagram at the time. “The woman I have often described as one of the strongest people I have ever known. Our connection was real and honest.”

She added: “We were so often pitted against each other but none of that reflected the truth of our real relationship which was one built on mutual respect and admiration. At 19, Kim married Thomas, now 54, whom she divorced before her debut on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2007. The duo, who had a 10-year age difference, were married for three years until they called it quits in 2003.

Nearly one decade later, Kim got engaged to Kris Humphries in 2011 following a whirlwind romance. Kim and Humphries, now 40, tied the knot in 2011 but split after 72 days of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in April 2013 following a lengthy court battle.

Tom Sandoval was “somewhat aware” fellow Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor had been struggling with cocaine addiction — and thinks it’s “amazing” that he’s taking steps toward getting the help he needs. 

“I mean, I think that’s amazing,” Sandoval, 42, said on the Wednesday, March 5, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I ’m so proud of him, I think that’s so awesome. He really seems like he’s really been working on himself. For real. For real this time.” 

Sandoval also noted that he was “somewhat aware” of Taylor’s “problems” since the pair costarred on a Bravo series for years together, telling host Andy Cohen, “I mean, I’ve been around him over the years.”

When Cohen, 56, asked if “the cast was aware” of Taylor’s struggles, Sandoval replied, “Yea.” 

Jax Taylor Says There Were 'Signs' Hinting at His Cocaine Addiction on 'VPR'

Taylor, 45, announced on the Tuesday, March 4, episode of Alex Baskin‘s “Hot Mic” podcast that he is “an addict.”

“I have substance issues — primarily with cocaine. It’s hard to say out loud,” he said. “I’ve been dealing with this on and off since I was 23 and now I’m 45. There was times where I would stop doing it but then there were times where I’d go heavy on it.”

Taylor, who made his Bravo debut on Vanderpump Rules in 2013, acknowledged that fans had suspected his issues over the years. “[They] could kind of tell that I was on something. Obviously production and [other] people, they didn’t know what I was doing,” he said. “Everything I was doing was on my own but I was just on that train and I couldn’t get off.”

Taylor said recently that he cut out alcohol to help him stay clean from cocaine. “People ask you, ‘Do you have an alcohol problem too?’ I don’t necessarily think I have an alcohol problem but the two go hand in hand,” Taylor said. “I can’t do cocaine without drinking. So I just gave up both. I’m proud to say I’m 83 days sober right now, which is the longest I’ve ever gone in my life without either.”

Lala Kent, who starred with Taylor and his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, on Vanderpump Rules for nearly five years, expressed her support for him on Tuesday.

Kent, who has also struggled with addiction, said she was hopeful that Taylor’s quality of life would take a turn for the better.

The dynamic between Chicago P.D.’s Deputy Chief Reid and Sergeant Hank Voight is “fractured” after their most recent case — and according to actor Shawn Hatosy, it’s only going to get worse.

“I think they’re both looking over their shoulder,” Hatosy, who plays Reid, exclusively told Us Weekly, noting that the new chief will continue to butt heads with Voight (Jason Beghe).

“It sort of tests the relationship, and Hank has to face the fact that he’s dealing with somebody that is gonna go and do something because he has dirt on somebody else,” Hatosy, 49, explained of the cat-and-mouse game Reid and Voight are playing.

The actor noted that Voight learns how Reid “operates,” which “creates a little bit of a tense relationship” between the pair. Reid obtaining a search warrant in a suspicious manner raises eyebrows for Voight and “puts things in motion” for him to “go down the rabbit hole and see who this guy is,” Hatosy added.

At the end of the episode, Voight realizes that Reid has “criminals in his pocket too.” Reid admits that he’d rather have a drug dealer in charge of the neighborhood — with no violent priors on his record — than four young kids selling dope, which didn’t sit well with Voight.

“It can’t end nicely. It has to go somewhere, and it has to blow up,” Hatosy told Us of the trajectory for Reid and Voight this season. “It’s heading in a direction where it’s gonna blow up.”

He teased, “Once things blow up, where [do] the characters go? Maybe Reid is the one that never comes back, but something has to occur where these characters are affected, and moving forward it might change them.”

When asked what Voight needs to do to come out unscathed, Hatosy confessed, “I don’t know,” adding that showrunner Gwen Sigan has been “very tight-lipped” about Reid’s endgame.

Hatosy noted, “They’ve clearly set in motion that they want to take this guy down,” but Reid is “prepared” for what’s to come.

“Him knowing Voight and what he’s capable of and how he’s gotten to where he is. It’s gonna blow up,” he explained. “It’s sort of by design, so I’m excited to see how it turns out.”

Two men have been charged in connection with the deaths of three Kansas City Chiefs fans.

Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson were charged on Wednesday, March 5, with three counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of the delivery of a controlled substance, KMBC News in Kansas City, Missouri reports. Each of those charges carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. 

“People may have doubted this investigation because it has spanned more than a year,” Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd stated Wednesday, according to the news station. “The Kansas City Police Department and my office do not rest on homicide cases until we have exhausted every possible resource. Today’s charges are the product of the hard work of Kansas City detectives and prosecutors over those many months.”

On January 9, 2024, the bodies of Ricky Johnson, Clayton McGeeney and David Harrington were found frozen in the backyard of Willis’ home. The three men had gathered to watch a Chiefs game at Willis’ house two days before police discovered their dead bodies. Court documents stated that they had consumed alcohol, marijuana and cocaine.

In a press conference Wednesday, Zahnd said that McGeeney’s fiancée had worried about his whereabouts and showed up at Willis’ house and “found at least one person dead on the back patio. Temperatures had dropped below freezing the night of the Chiefs game.”

When police searched the scene, they found two plastic bags containing a white powdery substance that was later forensically identified as a mixture of cocaine and fentanyl. Willis and Carson were linked to the drugs via DNA evidence, and an investigation identified Carson as the primary drug supplier. He admitted he had sold cocaine to Johnson, McGeeney and Harrington prior to their deaths. 

On January 12, 2024, a medical examiner revealed that the three had died of fentanyl and cocaine combined toxicity. 

Carson is being held in county jail on Wednesday and Willis is expected to surrender to authorities. Willis intends to post a $100,000 bond for his release, Zahnd stated.

“This case is a tragic reminder of the dangers of street drugs,” Zahnd said. “But make no mistake. The people who supply those drugs can and will be held accountable when people overdose.”

Paige DeSorbo didn’t mince words when confronting Kyle Cooke about his rage texts on the latest Summer House episode.

During the Wednesday, March 5, episode of the Bravo series, Paige, 32, called out Kyle, 42, for “rage texting” her earlier in the week about then-boyfriend Craig Conover and BFF Hannah Berner. (Paige and Craig, 36, called it quits in November 2024 after three years together.)

While Amanda tried to calm Kyle down, he didn’t stop. He alleged that Hannah’s comments about her allegedly being fired after she did an “ad for Truly Seltzer” and it reportedly “annoyed” Kyle, who owns a rival alcohol brand, was “slander.”

Paige feared that Kyle and Craig’s feud would blur into her relationship with Amanda, crying to Ciara Miller, “I’ve been in this situation before and I’m trying not to be in it. Amanda and Hannah not being friends anymore was the worst. I still get upset about it.”

Amanda, meanwhile, went into Paige’s room and gave her a big hug. They both said “I love you” and noted that they didn’t want to “fight” with each other. “It makes me so sad, Amanda. I think all the time I wish you and Hannah were friends again,” Paige confessed, noting, “I don’t even want to fight with Kyle.”

Amanda admitted that her husband was “f—ing stupid” and they two have had fights over this “stuff.”

“In moments like this I can’t even talk him off the ledge,” Amanda said of Kyle in a confessional. “I know that Craig’s actions have affected Kyle and affected Loverboy but the way Kyle’s reacting to it isn’t doing him any favors.”

The next morning, Kyle told Amanda he felt like “a fish out of water” and he was “sorry for making things more awkward for you.”

Amanda pointed out that although he was upset, putting Paige in the middle was “unfair” to her. The episode ended with Kyle pulling Paige aside at the beach to talk to her about their drama.

Since filming wrapped, Kyle and Craig have made amends, with Kyle exclusively telling Us Weekly in October 2024 they are “good.”

Paige, meanwhile, exclusively told Us on Tuesday, March 4, that she and Kyle have a “brother-sister relationship.” She insisted that they are “fine” and both know, “we’re not gonna not be friends.”

Ben Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner are not looking to get back together.

A source tells Us Weekly that Affleck and Garner, both 52, are “good friends” and any rumors of a romance between them are “ridiculous.”

Following his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez, Affleck’s priorities remain on his family and his career — not dating — and both he and Garner are focused on coparenting their three children, Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.

Speculation about a rekindling began when Affleck and Garner were spotted spending more time together after the actor’s split from Lopez, 55, last year.  (Affleck and Lopez, who wed in July 2022, finalized their divorce in January.)

Garner and Affleck, who were previously married for a decade before their 2015 split, have been seen out and about together multiple times over the past few months, including at functions that involve their kids. Several reports surfaced that Affleck and Garner’s connection could turn romantic again, however, the outcome is unlikely: the actress has been happily dating businessman John Miller since 2018.

“Everything is fine with John and Jen,” a second insider exclusively told Us earlier this month amid rumors that Miller, 47, was jealous of Garner spending more time with her ex-husband. “Those close to them haven’t heard of any issues.”

While Garner and Affleck have long since called it quits on their romance, the pair have maintained a close bond as exes. Throughout his divorce from Lopez, Garner was by Affleck’s side.

“Ben and Jennifer are friends, and they have a great coparenting relationship,” an additional insider exclusively told Us of the duo in August 2024, noting that the exes have a “mutual understanding that their kids come first.”

It’s all happening — on The Masked Singer, where Scheana Shay was just revealed as Bat.

Shay, 39, was unmasked during the Wednesday, March 5, episode of the Fox competition series on Voices of Olympus night. The Vanderpump Rules alum performed a cover of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” but was eliminated ahead of fellow Group B contestants Space Ranger, Pearl, Boogie Woogie and Griffin.

“I’m becoming Bat because I’m a creature of the night and a bit of a badass,” Shay began in her clue package. “Like bats, I am one of the most misunderstood creatures ever. I’ve been forever villainized, constantly portrayed as a bloodsucking backstabber. And to that I say, ‘Ew, get over it.’ I am so not that bat!”

The next portion of Bat’s package referenced her classic single “Good as Gold” as well as her time on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules.

“My real friends know I actually have a heart of gold,” she said. “I’ve just been surrounded by a bunch of lunatics, and for years, all my words have been twisted upside down.”

To comply with the evening’s Voices of Olympus theme, Bat said she was “leaning into Dionysus, the god of partying to show there’s nothing wrong with letting your hair down.”

After her performance, Bat hinted that she’d interacted with panelist Jenny McCarthy before, saying, “It’s been a minute since I’ve seen you, Jenny.” This appeared to be a reference to the fact that McCarthy, 52, once interviewed Shay on her radio show in 2015.

Bat also teased host Nick Cannon by revealing that they “actually spent a holiday together this year.” This clue was seemingly a nod to last Easter, when Shay and Cannon, 44, volunteered with the Los Angeles Mission to provide hot meals to the people of Skid Row.

Finally, Bat’s “Crack the Case” clue was a pair of gold hoop earrings. She explained them by saying, “Gold is just a part of every major life event I’ve had, including the debut of my first single.”

While Vanderpump Rules fans might have figured it out, the judges were stumped. McCarthy thought Bat could be The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen, while Ken Jeong guessed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Rinna. Robin Thicke and Rita Ora stayed in the Bravo universe too, throwing out Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel’s name.

Bravolebrities are frequent guesses on The Masked Singer, but in 13 seasons, Shay is only the fourth one to ever appear on the show (and only the second Vanderpump Rules star). The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss kicked things off in season 3 when she won as Night Angel. Season 10, meanwhile, featured RHONY’s Luann de Lesseps as Hibiscus and VPR’s Tom Sandoval as Diver.
