Savannah Chrisley is looking back at the death of her ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles.
“I truly was heartbroken, devastated. I had so many regrets of things I had said publicly, and things I wish I could have apologized for and just conversations that Nic and I never got to have,” Chrisley, 27, told People on Sunday, February 23.
The former reality star was visiting her father, Todd Chrisley, in prison when she found out Kerdiles was in a motorcycle accident. (Todd, 55, is currently being held in Pensacola after being sentenced to 12 years on charges of tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy.)
“I was shaking and sobbing. I’m like, ‘I have to get home. I have to get home,'” she explained. “[I] kept texting him, and I was like, ‘Please tell me it’s not true. Please. You’re OK, right?’ The messages were going through. So, I was like, ‘OK, maybe they just got it wrong. He’s OK.’ Because it was still showing delivered.”
Savannah got engaged to Kerdiles in 2019 after two years of dating, with the pair later pausing on their wedding plans. Savannah announced their split in 2020 and despite briefly reconciling, the duo ended their relationship for good in 2021.
“Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today … I miss you and I love you. I’ll forever save our last messages of ‘I love you,'” Savannah wrote via Instagram Story at the time. “Please send me a sign that you’re OK. Maybe it’ll be thru [sic] a ham and cheese crepe … or pasta with white sauce … or maybe your favorite carrot cake.”
Nic Kerdiles and Savannah Chrisley.Paul Archuleta/Getty Images
She continued: “We loved hard … and I can’t wait to ride bikes along the beaches of heaven with you one day.”
In Sunday’s interview, Savannah recalled mourning Kerdiles with Todd: “I was like, ‘I’ve got to tell [my] dad [Todd]. I can’t leave here without telling him.’ Because he and Nic were best friends. So, I went and I told my dad. I walked in, and he just automatically knew, and I just broke down.”
The Chrisley Knows Best alum “cried all day” with Todd. “He knew something was wrong. And he was just devastated and heartbroken,” Savannah noted.
Before Kerdiles’ death, Savannah found love with now-boyfriendRobert Shiver. (Savannah initially reached out to Shiver, 40, after he made headlines in 2023 for surviving an alleged murder plot orchestrated by his ex Lindsay Shiver.)
“After a few weeks, I told Robert, I was like, ‘I promise I will stop talking about it. I just have to go through my process.’ And Robert’s exact words were, ‘You weren’t my first love and I wasn’t yours, but we can be each other’s last,'” she told People about how she “just saw the emotional maturity in him and how he showed up, and how he could have easily ran.”
Savannah added: “This is a month into us dating. Just the way that he shows up on a day-to-day basis, and the type of father that he is, and how he guides people through every hardship and adversity. It’s just [he’s the] best friend [and] teammate that you want.”
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m over the winter. I need more sun and warmth! Still, I know we’re a few weeks out from the official start of spring, and even then the weather can be pretty contradictory. One day, it’s cold to the bone outside, and the next, it’s bright, warm and sunny. The weather can even change within a few hours, which makes getting dressed so much more difficult. That’s why it’s important to have a solid selection of transitional coats to help you stay comfortable while looking cute throughout this finicky season.
With the 12 transitional coats ahead, you’ll be both stylish and happy as the seasons change. Take that, Mother Nature!
2. Indecisive Weather: For those weird days when it’s freezing early on but warms up by mid-morning, this extra cozy faux fleece jacket will be your go-to. It’s not bulky like many fleece options but still regulates your body heat nicely — $32 (originally $45) at Amazon!
5. Leather Treasure: Some leather jackets aren’t very insulated. . . which makes them a miss for chillier days. This oversized option not only looks trendy, but it’ll keep you toasty on those in-between days, too — $57 at Amazon!
6. Must-Have Layering Piece: If your goal is to master the art of spring layering (like me), you need this lightweight peacoat in your closet — $60 at Amazon!
8. Chic as It Comes: Few items are worth investing in. At the top of the list is a solid trench coat, and none compare to this design from London Fog — the brand makes some of the best around! This specific style features a longer silhouette, a removable hood, front flap pockets and a removable belt — $180 (originally $300) at Nordstrom!
11. Feelin’ Spring: I prefer to choose my outerwear based on color. Name something more spring-like than this pretty pastel blue Hatley jacket. The open-front design gives you plenty of styling options — $180 at Nordstrom!
Jason Kelce knows his way around an NFL retirement conversation — and his brother, Travis Kelce, might have his mind made up already.
During a recent chat with Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson on “The Steam Room,” Jason, 37, reflected on getting his brother’s guidance before making his own decision about leaving the Philadelphia Eagles last year.
“[I talked to Travis] a lot,” Jason said on the podcast, which dropped Friday, February 21.
Jason added that he would “for sure” return the favor for Travis, 35, when he’s ready. “I’m sure we will talk about it, we’ve already talked about it a little bit,” Jason continued. “And I’m sure he’s going to go through a process of figuring that out.”
As the speculation about his NFL future continues, Jason hinted that Travis “probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do.”
“We’re very similar people, but we also have different ways of thinking about things. And sometimes I can way overanalyze situations, and my brother has this way of being like, ‘Hey man, you want to play or you don’t want to play,'” he explained. “He’ll say something like that where it’s just like, ‘Don’t worry about all of these minor things.’ And nine times out of 10, he’s right about all of it.”
Travis has been a top-performing player since being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. Throughout the 2024-2025 NFL season, however, the tight end struggled to make his usual impact.
Cooper Neill/Getty Images
“I used to get really, really pissed off and almost lose my cool a lot of the time from not having that success knowing I demand that out of myself. I just like to play the game to such a high level of accountability that it’s tough for me to deal with me being mediocre or having stats that represent that,” he said on the Kelce brothers’ “New Heights” podcast in September 2024, admitting that he “stopped caring about stats about four or five years ago.”
Instead of focusing on the numbers, Travis said, “I just went out there and started to play free and play for my guys. Sure enough, I think that’s the better mentality. You think about it more play by play and what your job is on that specific play.”
By the end of the season, the Chiefs had the opportunity to make history with a third consecutive Super Bowl victory — but the result wasn’t what they hoped for. With Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift looking on, the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX 40-22 earlier this month in New Orleans.
Travis told reporters after the game that the Chiefs “couldn’t get it going offensively,” congratulating the Eagles on their victory.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, meanwhile, was asked whether he thought Travis would hang up his helmet. “I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own,” he said in a post-game interview.
The Chiefs reportedly gave Travis until March 14 to make his choice. During the Super Bowl recap episode of “New Heights,” Jason encouraged his brother to take his time before settling on his final decision.
“I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it’s gonna be something that it’s a wholehearted decision and I’m not half-assing it,” Travis said on the podcast. “I’m fully here for them and I think I could play, it’s just whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human, as a person to take on all that responsibility.”
Among the limited-edition lipsticks, glosses and nail polishes is a Willy Wonka-worthy hidden surprise — not a golden ticket, but a 22-carat gold $10,000 BASLIQ ring with diamonds, rubies and sapphires. In a playful twist, three rings have been scattered amongst online orders.
According to Pat McGrath, Founder and CEO of Pat McGrath Labs, this dazzling twist only amplifies the lineup’s enchanting allure. “Beauty should always be an adventure,” McGrath told Us Weekly exclusively.
She continued: “This collection is all about joy, play and opulence — and now, three lucky individuals will unwrap a truly one-of-a-kind treasure. How divine is that?”
The BASLIQ 22-karat gold ring with diamonds, rubies and sapphires was made to encircle the MatteTrance Lipstick bullets in the limited-edition Candy Crush Saga x Pat McGrath Labs collection, which includes two iconic shades: Elson and Divine Rose.Candy Crush x Pat McGrath Labs
Crafted initially as gifts for McGrath’s inner circle, including supermodel Alex Consani and influencer Tefi Pessoa, the rings are made to elegantly encircle the MatteTrance lipstick bullets. But now they will land in the hands of three shoppers, turning every purchase into a potential jackpot.
Meanwhile, Consani, 21, and Pessoa, 33, are already urging future shoppers to meticulously check their packages while hyping up the high-stakes beauty treasure hunt before it’s game on.
“Pat McGrath Labs and Candy Crush teaming up? It’s the kind of unexpected collaboration I live for,” Pessoa shared exclusively with Us. “Makeup is supposed to be playful and fun anyway! It’s beauty, nostalgia and a little bit of drama, because, of course, a $10,000 diamond ring had to go missing!”
Pessoa added: “Did I mention I love drama? I love drama. This collab is pure indulgence, wrapped in diamond-encrusted chaos, and I am obsessed.”
Consani also loves drama, but the kind that comes in the form of a statement lip (specifically, MatteTrance lipstick in Divine Rose). “Pat McGrath x Candy Crush is a fab twist on my favorite everyday iconic colors from her!” the model said. “She knows how to make things iconic, hence the ring! Mother knows!”
Indeed, there is more than makeup magic up for grabs, as now with every purchase of MatteTrance Lipstick on PatMcGrath.com, anyone has a chance to uncover a diamond surprise if you can find it.
But even if you can’t, the collection has more surprises in store, as the lineup is filled with six limited-edition products that are inspired by the game’s bold colors and McGrath’s signature artistry.
For the first time, Elson is also being offered as a nail lacquer. It’s one of two long-lasting polishes; the second is Gold 001, a metallic masterpiece inspired by Pat’s original Lab.

Get your shimmer fix with LUST Gloss in Astral Flashdance or Bronze Venus to drench lips in balm-like hydration and high-wattage shine. Take it from “Mother McGrath,” as she’s affectionately known, who said it’s the “ultimate lip candy” with “everything you need for a dazzling, oh-so-glossy look that’s irresistibly divine.” (And Mother knows best.)
Considering her previous collabs have sold out in seconds, get ready to crush it when the limited-edition Candy Crush Saga x Pat McGrath Labs collection drops on Thursday, February 27 via PatMcGrath.com, followed by a March 3 launch on Sephora.com and a wider release at Nordstrom in March. May the beauty drop odds be ever in your favor.
Welcome to Plathville introduced viewers to Barry and Kim Plathand their nine children when the reality show premiered on TLC in November 2019.
According to the series description, the couple’s kids — Ethan, Hosanna, Micah, Moriah, Lydia, Isaac, Amber, Cassia and Mercy — “have never had a soda, don’t know who Spider-Man orTom Bradyis and have never watched TV.” They live remotely in rural Georgia and “follow their own [set of] rules” from Kim and Barry. However, things between the relatives began to change as many of the children grew up and explored avenues that were once forbidden.
Not every member of the family is as willing to share their life with the world, though. Moriah explained exclusively to Us Weekly in August 2021why Hosanna is not on the show.
“She got married at a young age and moved off with her husband and started her life somewhere else,” Moriah said. “And she didn’t want to be on the show, and we were kind of all just, like, yeah, I mean, it’s her life. … Sometimes we keep in touch to some extent, but it’s also, like, she’s across the country and, you know, it would just be a hassle and she doesn’t want to be on the show.”
Scroll through the gallery below to learn more about the Plaths:
Barry was born in March 1968, while Kim was born in August 1972. The couple tied the knot in July 1997. In addition to having a family band, he works as a transportation planner, and she is a naturopathic doctor. Barry and Kim had a 10th child, son Joshua, but he died in an accident in 2008 when he was 15 months old.
Kim filed for divorce from Barry in June 2024, two years after they announced their split after 24 years of marriage. In court docs obtained by Us at the time, Kim asked for primary custody of their three minor children, demanded that Barry pay child support and requested equal separation of their “marital property” and “marital debts.” Their date of separation was listed as December 23, 2021.
Barry and Kim welcomed their oldest child in May 1998. Ethan works as a mechanic and married Olivia — who is a photographer — in October 2018. Ethan and Olivia announced their split five years later in October 2023 and filed for divorce in February 2024. He debuted his new relationship via Instagram in December 2024, opting to keep his girlfriend’s name private at the time.
Hosanna arrived in August 1999. She tied the knot with Timothy Noble in June 2019, and the pair live in Ohio. They work as a musical duo since she is a violinist and he is a pianist. Hosanna has chosen not to appear on Welcome to Plathville.
Moriah was born in August 2002. She is viewed as the rebellious child in the family. After two years of dating, Moriah and Max split amid cheating allegations.
Lydia arrived in 2004. She got engaged to Zac Wyse one month after going Instagram official in November 2024. The couple tied the knot on the Plath family’s Georgia farm in February 2025.
The Voice is on the hunt for the best undiscovered singers in the country.
Season 27 of NBC’s hit reality competition show returned in January and coaches Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, John Legend and Adam Levine didn’t waste any time building their teams in the blind auditions.
Despite a five-year hiatus from the show, Adam, 45, didn’t hesitate to turn his red hair when he heard a talented and unforgettable voice.
“I wouldn’t say I was nervous, but I was definitely curious to see and feel what it was going to be like,” the Maroon 5 frontman told NBC before the season began. “It’s been a while since I’ve been on and I honestly thought maybe it was time. I just thought I’d come back and give it another chance.”
Look at the stars; look how they shine for Britton. After missing a previous season of The Voice because his high school baseball team made it to the championships, Britton made it to the stage and earned a four-chair turn from the judges.
“There was definitely something in your voice that reminded me a little bit of how I do it,” Adam told the 21-year-old Texas native. “I just felt, like, an instant connection with you. I pushed really early because I felt this kid is going to be special and I was right.” Britton ultimately chose Team Adam.
Bryson Battle – Donny Hathaway’s ‘A Song for You’
Within seconds of covering “A Song for You,” Bryson wowed each of the judges with his range and tone. “You might have the greatest voice I’ve ever heard in my life,” Michael said. “I sing that song every night in my shows, and I’ve never sung it that good.”
The North Carolina native ultimately picked Team John as he moved toward the battle rounds.
Grace-Miller Moody – Maroon 5’s ‘Sunday Morning’
It takes a brave singer to appear on The Voice and sing a classic Maroon 5 hit in front of the band’s lead singer. But when Grace-Miller took the stage, she quickly received a four-chair turn thanks to her unique rendition of “Sunday Morning.”
“Forget the song,” Adam said. “I know it’s mine. I know you have great taste in music. All of that’s fantastic. … I can definitely help you get to where you want to go. The potential is limitless.”
In just two short weeks, Ethan’s audition received more than one million views on YouTube. His take on “Northern Attitude” quickly earned him a four-chair turn and praise from Kelsea.
“This is the first time I felt like I was turning for an artist like I’m at your show,” she said. “I love Noah. I have a song out with Noah right now [and] I’m a fan of you.” Despite the country singer’s persuasive argument, Ethan chose Team Adam.
RENZO – Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ‘Simple Man’
Some music fans may have recognized RENZO from when he made the Top 10 on American Idol seven years ago. At that time, he auditioned with his full name, Dennis Lorenzo.
While appearing on The Voice, RENZO picked Team John after hearing a compelling argument from the Grammy winner. “The only award I want to win with you is The Voice,” Legend said. “And then watch you go win a bunch of Grammys on your own.”
During the event on Sunday, February 23, Short won his first SAG Award at the age of 74, taking home the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Only Murders in the Building. The Hulu series also scored Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Short, however, was noticeably absent from the awards show. In a statement to Deadline on Sunday, Short’s rep explained that the actor “was not able to attend due to Covid.”
While he wasn’t there to thank his peers in person, Short expressed his gratitude in a statement, noting, “The honor of being in Only Murders In The Building is the most spectacular compliment anyone could be given. The honor of being awarded by your peers is even greater. Thank you so so much.”
Fellow OMITB star Steve Martin was also not in attendance “due to a previous conflict in his schedule,” per his reps. Martin later congratulated Short, writing via Instagram, “I’m the buddy of a winner! Congratulations to Martin Short for his best comedy actor award, and thank you SAG for our comedy ensemble award!”
Disney/Patrick Harbron
Martin, 79, revealed earlier this month that Short contracted COVID at Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special, announcing that the pair’s live shows in Durham, North Carolina, and Knoxville, Tennessee, for their Dukes of Funnytown Tour were postponed until October. The duo were originally expected to perform in Tennessee on Sunday.
“So sorry for the inconvenience,” Martin wrote via Instagram while announcing the new dates. “I think we’ll be funnier then, anyway.”
Martin Short in ‘Only Murders in the Building.’Disney/Patrick Harbron
Without Short and Martin by her side, Selena Gomez accepted the award for Ensemble in a Comedy Series on behalf of the OMITB cast.
“We never win, this is so weird,” Gomez, 32, said on Sunday, joking, “Marty and Steve aren’t here because … you know, they don’t really care.”
Gomez was joined on stage by Michael Cyril Creighton, Richard Kind, Kumail Nanjiani and Molly Shannon. Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria and Zach Galifianakis, who were recognized for their work on season 4, didn’t appear at the SAG Awards.
OMITB has been nominated in the ensemble category every year since 2022, but Sunday marked the show’s first win.
The reality TV personality tied the knot with her fiancé, Zac Wyse, on Saturday, February 2022. “The Wyse family, Est. 2~22~25,” Lydia captioned photos from the couple’s nuptials, which were held on her family’s Georgia farm, via Instagram.
Lydia, 21, embraced her bridal beauty in a flowy, short-sleeved white gown with a floral embroidered bodice. Matching their wedding’s blue color scheme, Wyse donned a navy suit with a light blue tie and pocket square. In her post, Lydia shared a family photo of the pair with her parents, Barry and Kim Plath, and several of her siblings.
Lydia is one of Barry and Kim’s nine children, including Ethan, 26, Hosana, 25, Micah, 23, Moriah, 22, Isaac, 19, Amber, 15, Cassia, 13, and Mercy, 12. The family rose to fame on TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, which premiered in 2019. The series follows the kids as they look to forge their own paths outside of their strict religious upbringing, which included not having cellphones and having limited access to pop culture, among other rules.
In addition to the Plath family, 115 guests watched Lydia and her now-husband share their very first kiss ever at the altar during their wedding ceremony. “The discipline it has taken to save our first kiss for the wedding day is an example of the commitment we have for each other going into our marriage,” Wyse told People in an interview published on Sunday, February 23.
Wyse noted that using Lydia’s family farm as the venue was a sentimental choice, as they “wanted to create new memories on top of the many memories Lydia had growing up here.” He added to People, “Neither of us wanted to get caught up in the details we won’t remember for the years to come. So we’ve tried to keep our focus on what our purpose for this day is, our union before God, our friends, and family.”
Zac Wyse and Lydia Plath.Courtesy of Lydia Plath/Instagram
Lydia, for her part, gushed about her wedding dress, calling the gown, “the perfect balance of lace and sparkle while remaining very light and flowy.”
The duo each wrote their own vows and incorporated traditional ones, as well. After the wedding, Lydia told People that the couple’s celebration “couldn’t have happened without everyone who just gave so much, and I’ve been blown away by the beauty of it all. It was so much better than I could ever have imagined.”
Wyse noted, “It was nothing short of a miracle how this day came together.”
The pair’s wedding comes two months after Wyse popped the question. “A million reasons to say YES to the love of my life! @zaclwyse you’re a gift from the Lord!” Lydia captioned pics from their forest-set proposal via Instagram in December 2024. “The way you care for not only me, but for my family, my friends and everyone you come across in such an intentional way is a rare gem to find. … I love you so much And I’m so blessed to call you mine.”
Lydia first teased that she was in a relationship via Instagram in October 2024 by sharing a snap of their hands holding each other for National Boyfriend Day. One month later, she made their romance Instagram official.
“Words can’t describe how grateful I am the Lord has brought you into my life!,” Lydia captioned her first Instagram pics with Wyse in November 2024. “You never cease to amaze me with the adventures we go on, supporting me in every high and low, and overflowing every moment with joy as we pursue the Lord together. My love @zaclwyse .”
Is it just Us or are people more eco and health-conscious lately? Maybe it’s our favorite essential oil celebs influencing the masses or maybe it’s just a sign of the times, but either way, chemical-free lifestyles are more popular than ever. Everything from natural cleaning products to animal-free meat alternatives is trending!
While it’s impossible to completely avoid chemicals, we can try our best to consume, purchase and live more naturally. It comes down to the day-to-day decisions we make. But perhaps one of the easiest ways to improve our health is to focus on what we’re putting in and on our bodies. We can’t directly control the air we breathe, but we can control what we buy and apply to our skin!
Using a chemical-free deodorant is a simple swap, one that requires nothing more than a few extra bucks. But checking reviews is critical with natural deodorants; some don’t have the odor-preventing capabilities they say they do, while others contain a secret list of sulfates, phthalates and parabens. If you want a clean, natural, fail-proof deodorant that provides 48-hour protection and a slew of other benefits, check out this bestselling formula at Blu Atlas!
Made without aluminum, baking soda or other nasties, it contains everything you want and nothing you don’t. This non-greasy deodorant derives 99 percent of its ingredients from natural origins like plants, minerals and fruits. Plus, the formula goes on in one fell swoop without leaving any pilling or residue. It won’t stain your clothes, either!
In addition to odor-blocking bamboo extract and arrowroot powder, this roll-on contains mulberry root extract to brighten the skin, thereby reducing dark spots, hyperpigmentation and discoloration. It also contains horsetail, sage and aloe vera to soothe the skin and prevent irritation. Volcanic ash is another superstar in the ingredient lineup, one that actually detoxifies the skin! Note that the formula doesn’t prevent sweat, but rather the odor associated with perspiration.
As if the technical stuff wasn’t enough, this deodorant seriously smells like a cologne! There are three scents to choose from — as well as a fragrance-free option — all of which are crowd-favorites. The classic scent will give you a just-showered smell while the coconut apricot is sweet, refreshing and tropical. If you want an ultra-manly smell, opt for santal cedar. It combines sandalwood and cedar for a smoky, warm scent that is as sophisticated as it is classy.
Whichever scent you choose, you’ll have peace of mind with what you’re putting on your body. According to reviewers, “It actually works!”
According to the synopsis, Beyond the Gatestakes place in a posh gated community in one of the most affluent African American counties just outside of Washington, D.C. The Duprees are at the center of the show as “the very definition of Black royalty” in the luxurious Fairmont Crest community.
“At the center of this community are the Duprees, a powerful and prestigious multi-generational family that is the very definition of Black royalty,” the synopsis continued. “But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those that live outside these gates are watching closely.”
Beyond the Gates, which premieres on Monday, February 24, makes history as the first Black soap opera in nearly 35 years. The show — a joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP — is the first daytime soap centered around a Black family since Generations, which ended in 1991 after a 13-month run. Beyond the Gates is also leaving another mark in the soap genre as the last time a new daytime show premiered was in 1999 with NBC’s Passions.
“The Gates will be everything we love about daytime drama, from a new and fresh perspective,” President of the CBS Studios NAACP venture, Sheila Ducksworth, said in a March 2024 press release. “This series will salute an audience that has been traditionally underserved, with the potential to be a groundbreaking moment for broadcast television. With multi-dimensional characters, juicy storylines and Black culture front and center, The Gates will have impactful representation, one of the key touchstones of the venture.”
Keep scrolling and let Us introduce you to the characters at the center of the messy, dramatic and epic soap opera:
Before becoming the matriarch of the Dupree family, Anita was a famous singer who raised two daughters with her now-retired senator husband. But "underneath her glamorous and refined exterior, she has a fierceness she gained from her humble beginnings in Chicago."
The Dupree patriarch is Anita's husband who is described as a "gentle, humble, generous and venerable former senator with much knowledge and experience." Vernon retired after previously being at the forefront of the civil rights movement.
According to CBS' synopsis, Nicole is a high-achieving and competitive philanthropist and psychiatrist who "exudes warmth, empathy and compassion." Nicole's life seems perfect — down to her marriage to her surgeon husband — but things look different on the inside.
Dani is a former model who turned into a momager and gave up her career for love. As the Dupree family’s wild child, Dani is "free-spirited, headstrong and uninhibited," which led to her dropping out of school.
Dani's neighbor Vanessa is a high-end real estate agency owner who specializes in luxury property and is best friends with Nicole. Vanessa is "in a loveless marriage with her high school sweetheart."
Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, Martin got into politics and became a congressman who lives outside "the gates" with his husband and children. Martin is "ambitious and would like nothing more than to be the first openly gay Black president."
Bill is described as an "opportunist, publicity hound and narcissist, according to his ex-wife, Dani." He is a "charismatic and calculated criminal defense attorney who is well-connected, well-received and gets what he wants by any means necessary."
Andre inherited a large fortune after losing his parents in a plane crash, which has allowed him to live happily as a photographer. Nicole and Ted stepped up for Andre and he "depends on their support and wise counsel." He is known for being a "playboy who is smooth on the surface, there is something elusive about Andre that occasionally makes people question his intentions."
Derek is a firefighter in a relationship with Ashley Morgan and is best friends with Jacob Hawthorne. Derek is "fearless, holds nothing back and goes into a zone when he fights fire — which is almost personal for him rather than just a professional calling. Incredibly handy, he can fix almost anything."
Hayley is a paralegal at Bill Hamilton’s firm who is "considered a husband-stealing tramp" in Dani’s inner circle. "With time, patience, charm and effort, she will try to win them over and if not, so what? Hayley has what matters: Dani’s ex-husband," CBS' character description teased.
Jacob is a robbery and homicide detective with the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia. He "hails from a family of law enforcement and is proud of his wife, the family he comes from, serving the community and seeking justice for victims."
Ashley is Naomi’s best friend and is the only child of a young single mother. She was "a latchkey kid who has never been afraid of rolling up her sleeves and is a nurse at Washington D.C.’s Garland Memorial Hospital. She has the perfect temperament for her profession — positive, cheerful, brisk, resourceful and independent and can be serious but is also fun-loving with a smile that lights up a room."
Ted is a plastic surgeon with "an ultra-exclusive private practice and women clamor to put their faces and bodies in what they call his blessed hands." He created his dream life with his wife and is sure that "his past will never disrupt his perfect world."
Leslie is a waitress and bartender who is the "only person who sees what’s disturbing about her is her daughter Eva and very soon all will see what is unsettling about her, too."
Smitty is a former political reporter turned househusband. He is thinking of resuming his writing career but is hesitant to tell his husband, Martin, who likes their home life the way it is.
Chelsea is a social media influencer and has been a successful but reluctant high fashion model since she was 18. During the Sunday, February 23, episode of the Yellowstone prequel, an “In Memoriam” message was shown before Brings Plenty’s character, Pete, was reintroduced. Jeremy Guana will now be playing Pete, the son of Hank Plenty Clouds (Michael Greyeyes). Pete found Teonna (Aminah Nieves) after she ran away from the reservation school and reunited her with her father, Runs His Horse (Michael Spears).
Guana previously worked with Yellowstone creatorTaylor Sheridan on 1883, another prequel of the hit Paramount+ series. Cole, meanwhile, was the nephew of Yellowstone star Mo Brings Plenty.
In March 2024, a warrant was issued for Cole’s arrest in relation to a domestic violence incident. According to a press release, authorities were called to the scene after reports of a screaming woman, but Cole had fled in his vehicle before they arrived. Mo and his Yellowstone costar Cole Hauser asked for the public’s assistance in finding his nephew.
“My good friend @mobringsplenty nephew is missing,” Hauser, 49, who plays Rip, wrote via Instagram in April 2024. “He was last seen on Easter evening in Kansas City. If you have any information on his whereabouts please contact the below or your local police.”

Cole’s father, Joseph Brings Plenty Sr., also released a statement about his son’s disappearance, writing via Facebook, “If anyone knows where my son Cole Brings Plenty is please tell him to call me. His family is very worried about him.. Last seen early morning hours on Easter morning.. He hasnt messaged me or called me back, I have some of our family and friends in the area looking for him. Love you son, just reach out to me, messaging you on your phone.”
Days later, Cole was found dead at age 27. A cause of death was not released, but Lawrence Kansas Police Chief Rich Lockhart confirmed that there was no foul play.
“None of us could have imagined this outcome,” Lockhart shared in a statement at the time. “I learned through this series of events that our Police Department must work harder to increase trust with our Native American community members. Through meeting with Cole’s family members and members of our Native American community, I clearly see that we are not where we need to be in partnering with a community that is very important to Lawrence’s history and to its current culture.”
He continued: “It’s my hope that future bridges we build and partnerships we form between our Native American community and our police department will create a relationship that will not only increase trust and understanding but will also be a model for other communities.”
A rep for Justin Bieber is speaking out amid widespread concern for the singer’s well-being.
The representative told TMZ on Sunday, February 23, that rumors about Bieber using hard drugs are “absolutely not true,” calling the speculation “exhausting and pitiful.” Per the rep, the chatter about Bieber’s mental health “shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”
The past year has been “very transformative” for Bieber, who “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that Bieber, 30, is “happier than he’s been in a long time” despite raising eyebrows with his behavior and recent outings. “There’s no breakdown,” the insider added, noting that the pop star “just really doesn’t care what people think.”
Justin initially sparked concern in January when eagle-eyed fans noticed he was no longer following his wife, Hailey Bieber, on Instagram. The 28-year-old Rhode founder, however, was still following Justin. (The couple have been married since 2018 and welcomed son Jack Blues last year.)

As the alleged social media activity made headlines, Justin set the record straight via his Instagram Story. “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he claimed. “S— is getting suss out here.”
In the weeks since, Justin has been spotted out and about in sweats — and was even spotted leaving a spa shirtless. “He’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky clean image just because the public wants him to,” the source told Us this month.

Following his rise to fame as a teen idol, Justin has faced a few ups and downs in the spotlight. He’s spoken candidly about struggling with his mental health, revealing to Vogue in February 2019 that he “got really depressed” on his Purpose tour and used Xanax.
“Drugs put a screen between me and what I was doing. It got pretty dark,” he confessed. “I think there were times when my security was coming in late at night to check my pulse and see if I was still breathing.”

A source told Us at the time that Justin sought out a therapist, adding, “He doesn’t want to be dependent on medication. He struggles with ups and downs, anxiety, depression and uncertainty about the future.”
Hailey, meanwhile, has stood by her husband’s side. “I just wanted him to be happy and be good and be safe and feel joy,” she told Vogue. “I’m really proud of him. To do it without a program, and to stick with it without a sober coach or AA or classes — I think it’s extraordinary. He is, in ways, a walking miracle.”

Anna Sawaiis seriously hot property in Hollywood right now — but the award-winning star of Shōgun has responded noncommittally to buzz around her taking on the role of Yoko Ono in the hotly anticipated Beatles movies.
Speaking to Us Weekly and other press outlets at the SAG Awards after winning Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in the epic period drama, the 32-year-old actress said the Ono gossip was mere speculation.
“I think a rumor is just a rumor,” she said. “I’m still trying to figure out what I want to do, so I’m reading a lot of scripts. I’m also doing a lot of meetings and I just want to make sure that whatever I’m choosing is the right thing. It might take time for me to find the right projects, but I am trying to be selective so that I can surprise everyone who’s going to watch it.”
Sawai taking on such an iconic role would certainly be a welcome surprise, particularly alongside the other big, exciting names who’ve been rumored to be part of the Sam Mendes project. So far, no casting has been officially confirmed, but, according to Deadline, it’s expected that Paul Mescal will play Paul McCartney alongside Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon.
If all goes to plan, the series of films by Mendes, which are penciled in for a 2027 release, will be a who’s who of hot young talent. They will also mark the first time that The Beatles and Apple Corps have allowed the legendary British band’s life stories and music to be used in scripted films.
Sawai’s SAG Award is the latest in a series of honors for her role in Shōgun. She also took the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series — the first actress of Asian descent ever to win — and the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV Drama.
During her interview with the press, she said she has mixed emotions about winning so many awards, given that she isn’t signed up for season 2.
“I don’t think this is something that you really get used to,” she said. “It’s also, I guess, just the love for the whole team that I have and knowing that I probably won’t be able to celebrate with them like this anymore, that this is really the final day for me representing Mariko. … So just all of that made me very emotional because I love the team so much.”
Awards season continued Sunday, February 23, as film and television’s biggest stars attended the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña were among the stars feted with top prizes on the movie side, continuing to pick up steam as they get ready for the Oscars on Sunday, March 2.
On the television side of things, Shōgun’s Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada were among the top drama winners, alongside The Penguin’s Colin Farrell and Baby Reindeer’s Jessica Gunning.
Sunday’s ceremony also saw wins for Only Murders in the Building’s Martin Short and Hacks star Jean Smart on the comedy end of the spectrum.
During Sunday’s ceremony, Chalamet, 29, picked up Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. “I was not expecting this at all, truly,” Chalamet said in his acceptance speech. “I know the classiest thing would be to downplay the effort that went into this role and how much this means to me, but the truth is this was five and a half years of my life.”
Later in the speech, Chalamet noted, “Lastly, I can’t downplay the significance of this award because it means the most to me. I know we’re in a subjective business. The truth is, I’m really in pursuit of greatness. I know people don’t usually talk like that. But, I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats. I’m inspired by the greats here tonight.”
The Dune actor had a busy night as he was also spotted greeting the iconic Jodie Foster and celebrating his award win in the press room with his mom, Nicole Flender. Other stars spotted inside the ceremony included Ariana Grande, Elle Fanning and Daniel Craig.

MTV reality star Tony Raines, best known for The Challenge, was arrested early Sunday, February 23, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reports TMZ.
Raines, 36, was charged with one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one count of reckless operation and four counts of negligent injuring, according to the outlet.
Online records show that a Charles Anthony Raines (Raines’ full name) was booked at 3 a.m. local time Sunday by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana. He was bonded out of custody at around 9 p.m. Sunday. (TMZ reported that Raines was held on a $7,500 bond.)
Us Weekly has reached out to Raines’ representatives for comment.
Raines appeared on MTV’s Real World: Skeletons in 2015 followed by stints on The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros in 2018, The Challenge: All Stars season 4 in 2024 and The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, which began airing last year and concluded in January.
Raines married his longtime love, Alyssa Giacone, in October 2023 in an intimate ceremony in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The couple share a daughter, Isla, 8. Raines is also dad to daughter Harper, 9, whom he shares with ex and Challenge star Madison Walls-Channing.
“There is so much I love about her,” Raines told People ahead of the wedding. “From her looks to how great a mother she is to the way she cares for me, but what means the most is the feeling that I get knowing that she supports me through everything, and truly having a partner that has my back and best interest at heart.”
“For me, it’s a fairy tale! I’ve pretty much been waiting for this moment since high school!” Giacone added. “It’s been a super chill planning experience which has made it even better and I’m just ready for the big day to get here.”
Raines recently marked Valentine’s Day with a sweet picture of him and Giacone kissing against a sunset backdrop. “20 years ago Cupid shot me and that arrow is still lodged in there I love you, Beautiful. Happy Valentine’s Day ,” he wrote via Instagram, tagging Giacone.
Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, was arrested Saturday, February 22, over the alleged assault of his estranged wife, Kate Major.
Michael, 64, was taken into custody without incident in Harris County, Texas, and charged with continuous family violence, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Us Weekly.
According to the police department, Major attended a medical appointment on Friday, February 21, and was concerned that Michael, 64, was following her. Police then responded to a 911 call.
Major told police officers that Michael had flipped her out of a chair several days before and complained of pain and discomfort. A female deputy noted bruising on Major’s body, the sheriff’s office said.
In a statement to TMZ Sunday, February 23, Michael denied the allegations. “I’ve shut up long enough about Kate’s physical, emotional and verbal abuse,” he said. “She set me up. Originally she said I was stalking her! Really? Lol. Then, when that didn’t work, she said, I pushed her over a chair which is a total lie. Not only will my kids attest to it, but I have video. I have more videos of her abuse.” (Major has yet to publicly respond to Michael’s comments.)
Michael and Major, 42, married in 2014 and share two children, sons Landon, 12, and Logan, 10. Major filed for divorce in 2018. (Michael also shares four children with his ex-wife, Dina Lohan, including Lindsay, 38.)
The couple have had their ups and downs over the years. In June 2024, Major was arrested for violation of a protective order after a heated exchange with Michael in the middle of the road, reported TMZ at the time. It’s not clear whether any charges were pressed against Major.
Michael was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting Major in Southampton, New York, in February 2020.
According to the Southampton Police Department, the domestic incident occurred at the Lohan’s house — but the arrest took place two miles away on Main Street. “He was arrested without incident,” Sgt. Herman Lamison told Us at the time.
Michael was charged with “misdemeanor criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation (choking)” as well as second-degree harassment, the sergeant said.
In March 2020, TMZ reported that the choking charge against Michael had been dropped and he had struck a plea deal on the charge of harassment. Michael was put under a two-year limited protective order and fined, according to the outlet.
If you or someone you know are experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.
“This city and the people in it have been put through the wringer. Our most attractive tables are right over there,” she said before pointing to several tables filled with Los Angeles firefighters. “Words won’t do it. Invitations to these events won’t do it, and as a diagnosed people pleaser, I really need to know what will do it because not knowing is very very hard for me.”
What Bell did know was she had a duty to help run a show filled with must-see acceptance speeches and a few surprise wins. Keep reading to see the best and worst moments from the 2025 SAG Awards:
Best Opening Moment: Jean Smart
Although Bell found a creative way to get a Frozen song stuck in our heads again thanks to her unique rendition of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman,” it was Smart’s opening sketch that earned big laughs from viewers at home.
While channeling Deborah Vance from Hacks, Smart learned that she had been fired from hosting the 2025 SAG Awards because she hadn’t paid her dues in years. At the end of the segment, she’s offered to take “The Substance” before Bell takes control as host.
Best, Most Unpredictable Acceptance Speech: Kieran Culkin
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
After receiving the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in A Real Pain, Culkin playfully took a shot at The Brutalist star Adrien Brody in his wide-ranging speech.
“I don’t think there’s any way anyone can hold this for 45 seconds. Which is the allotted time, Adrien Brody, 45 seconds,” Culkin said before acknowledging there was no need for the joke. “There was no reason to take that shot. I love you, it’s a joke. You take your time. Lord knows I will because I didn’t think of anything.”
With awards season coming to an end, some may think they know who’s going to win based on the many trophy-fests beforehand. SAG-AFTRA voters, however, reminded fans to expect the unexpected.
A Complete Unknown’s Timothée Chalamet and Martin Short winning Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in film and TV roles, respectively, was a plot twist some fans didn’t see coming. Short’s good luck continued when Only Murders in the Building won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. “We never win,” Selena Gomez shared during her speech. “This is weird.”
And with the 2025 Oscars just one week away, Conclave’s shocking win for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture may just be the boost they need.
Best Reunion: All of Them!
Netflix
The Good Place stars Ted Danson and William Jackson Harper paid tribute to the sexy tennis movie Challengerswhen they engaged in their own jostling love triangle as they competed for former castmate Bell’s attention.
“This is not a challenge,” Bell proclaimed before her former costars Danson and Jackson Harper playfully disagreed and leaned in for a mock kiss.
The reunions kept coming throughout the night as cast members from New Girl, Gossip Girl, X-Files and more found themselves in the same room at the same time.
Best Unexpected Tribute: ‘Law & Order’
Peter Kramer/NBC
While Mariska Hargitay’s longtime drama series was not nominated for an award, the SAG Awards couldn’t help but acknowledge just how many major stars have had the opportunity to have early-career guest star roles on Law & Order and its famous spinoffs.
“In the television industry, detective-based shows are considered especially beloved,” Hargitay said in a pretaped segment. “In the Law & Order universe, these dedicated actors that bring these stories to life are members of an elite squad known as the guest stars.”
Old footage of then-unknown Bradley Cooper, Viola Davis, Sarah Paulson, Kerry Washington, Sabrina Carpenter and other stars began to play with clips of their small but unforgettable roles.
Worst: Flubbed Best Picture Nominees’ Intros
We’re the first to acknowledge that no actor is perfect. But as casts from various Best Picture nominees delivered a snippet of their highly regarded film of the year, we wondered if they had any time to rehearse?
As the cast from A Complete Unknown celebrated their film, Chalamet wasn’t sure what to read and when to begin. “We should have done a rehearsal,” he joked.
In comparison, the cast of Anora couldn’t help but giggle through a majority of their speech. Anything can happen when a show is live.
Worst Struggle: Heavy Trophies
Based on several reactions from award-winning actors, the SAG Award trophy isn’t the lightest prize to hold during a night of celebrating. According to Kulkin, his award was “incredibly heavy” and later joked that the “heaviest of all awards is the one given by actors.”
After receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Fonda delivered one of her signature speeches by grabbing the microphone and pleading with viewers to practice empathy and truth in a changing world.
At one point in her speech, viewers could hear a muffle from her microphone. At a separate moment, the sounds of a voice-over began playing. Fortunately, Fonda took it in stride by responding, “And I can conjure up voices!”
Worst Trigger: Jamie Lee Curtis’ COVID-19 Confession
Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images
Just when we thought we were healed from the coronavirus pandemic, Curtis delivered a shout-out to the actor who got her sick at a previous award show. What came next was a reminder of a season filled with masks, social distancing and Zooms.
“And the Actor goes to…the man who gave me COVID at the Golden Globes,” she said. Colin Farrell.”
Farrell replied, “Guilty as charged. But Brendan Gleeson f—ing gave it to me! So I was just spreading the love.”
Worst Absence: So Many Winners
We know an actor’s schedule is very busy, but there were multiple awards handed out where the main stars weren’t present to accept. Although she won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series thanks to her role in Hacks, Smart was not in attendance because she was filming another project.
In addition, when Only Murders in the Building won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Short and Steve Martin weren’t present.
“Marty and Steve aren’t here because they don’t really care, but I don’t know what to say,” Gomez said in her speech. “Thank you Marty and Steve for helping raise me.”
Kristen Bell shared the small screen with many of her former castmates while hosting the Sunday, February 23, awards ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. In addition to sharing the stage with her Nobody Wants This costar Adam Brody, she and his wife, Leighton Meester, shared a surprise Gossip Girl reunion.
“Hey everyone! Gossip Girl here. One of my sources LEMEE86 sends me this,” Bell, 44, stated in her iconic Gossip Girl voice. “Spotted at table eight, Jeff Goldblum has a wicked appetite. And a peek behind the curtain reveals he likes his green eggs with ham. And look who it is, not-so-lonely boy Timothée Chalamet sitting next to a hot steak, medium rare, au poivre with a side of…”
Noticing that all the gossip items mentioned food, Bell turned to Meester, 38, who was sitting next to her eating a roll. “Leighton, none of this gossip. It’s just all about food,” Bell stated, to which Meester replied “I’m sorry. I’m just really hungry.”
Before presenting the cast of Conclave, Bell quipped, “The popes in Conclave were better at gossiping than us. I think we should pass the torch.” Meester agreed, stating, “Amen.”
Bell wrapped up the pair’s skit by declaring the stars of Conclave as “Gossip Girl 2.0.”
Scroll down to see all the cast reunions from the 2025 SAG Awards:
Bell finally shared the screen with Blair Waldorf herself after voicing Gossip Girl’s titular character throughout the teen drama’s six-season run from 2007 to 2012. (They’ll also share the screen on the next season of Nobody Wants This as Meester was recently confirmed to guest star.)
Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield seemed just as excited about their New Girl reunion as fans were watching them present the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
“We wrapped New Girl eight years ago, and so, the last time we saw each other must have been eight years ago,” Greenfield, 45, quipped. The duo even poked fun at costar Lamorne Morris’ 2024 Emmy win for his work on Fargo.
“Have you talked to or seen Lamorne?” Deschanel asked, to which Greenfield responded, “It’s been challenging since, well, you know, the Emmy. … But [we’re] so happy for Lamorne.”
Jason Segel recreated his funny Forgetting Sarah Marshall towel scene while catching up with Bell in between awards. “Hey! I got a surprise for you!” he said while taking off the towel wrapped around his waist, though Bell noted the moment “doesn’t really have the same effect with a towel over your pants.”
Segal hilariously retorted, “Don’t be a pervert.”
In the middle of her hosting duties, Bell was interrupted by Ted Danson to question whether William Jackson Harper was her favorite costar. “Look man, I’m just telling him what you told me in Paris,” Harper stated, a reference to his and Bell’s characters visit to the City of Love on The Good Place.
Bell’s attempts to diffuse the pair’s argument turned into a hilarious Challengers moment. “This is not a challenge,” she stated as the film’s iconic score played. The men responded, “Yes, it is,” before leaning in to kiss like the characters from the film.
Mulder and Scully themselves, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, reunited to present the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. “It’s great to see you, Gillian. You look …” Duchovny started before Anderson finished, “Younger than you last saw me when we shot 218 episodes?”
“Yes, that’s exactly right,” he replied.
Though Joey King presented an award with The Boys star Jack Quaid, she and Taylor Zakhar Perez had a mini The Kissing Booth reunion on the SAG Awards red carpet.
