'Traitors' Season 3 Cast's Unfiltered Thoughts on Danielle Reyes' Behavior

It isn’t just Traitors viewers who are conflicted about Danielle Reyes‘ approach to the game — her season 3 costars are just as confused.

The latest installment of Peacock’s hit series got off to a strong start when Danielle, Bob the Drag Queen and Carolyn Wiger were chosen as Traitors, causing chaos behind the scenes. The situation went even further off the rails once Boston Rob Mariano was brought into the mix, which left everyone at odds.

Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen’s Traitor-on-Traitor fighting was tough to watch — but so was Danielle’s very emotional performance in the role of a Faithful. While some found Danielle’s concern that she could be killed off believable, many of her fellow contestants — and fans watching at home — felt she was giving herself away with her over-the-top behavior.

The drama got worse once it was just Danielle and Carolyn left as the last remaining Traitors. Their issues with each other — which stemmed from them both trying to banish the other one from the castle — reached a fever pitch with a heightened roundtable that left Carolyn in tears and Danielle literally shaking when her competitor was unmasked as a Traitor.

All Rules and Behind-the-Scenes Secrets You Didn’t Know About ‘The Traitors’

Despite the offscreen backlash, Danielle stood by her approach.

“That’s all performance and crazy acting,” she told People in February 2025. “I am a non-emotional person in my normal life to the point people think I’m heartless and cold. I’ve been told that. So I decided to cry. I thought I’d be more emotional. I would get emotional at stupid stuff. It’s so cringey. I laugh at myself because it is funny.”

Danielle knew that not everyone would support her gameplay, adding, “It seemed like, ‘What am I doing?’ ‘Oh, you’re an obvious Traitor because you’re not scared,’ but I did act scared. I made my hands shake, but I did put my name up eventually, but it was edited out. My point was to make it seem like I was a Faithful, that’s why I did that.”

She added: “If you listen to people who’ve been murdered and banished, they’re all surprised that I’m a Traitor. I mean, it’d be so boring if I wasn’t doing what I was doing. You don’t want Traitors hugging and singing ‘Kumbaya.’ You want to see the chaos, and that’s what we’re giving you guys.”

Chanel Ayan

During a January 2025 episode of the Traitors aftershow, Ayan had nothing but praise for Danielle, whom she referred to as a “hot grandmother.”

“She has a nice ass for her age. Like it is super up there for a 52-year-old woman,” Ayan quipped. “Her ass made me think she wasn’t a Traitor.”

Chrishell Stause

After coming face to face with Danielle when she was murdered on the show, Chrishell was left unimpressed.

“They cut out the fact that Danielle swore on her grandkids. This is going to come out at the reunion. She knew it was going to be aired on the show and she said it multiple times while filming,” Chrishell said on the “Off the Vine” podcast in February 2025. “There [were] factual things she was doing where I was like, ‘This doesn’t add up.’ I was trying to bring these things up. Just think about facts and don’t go with feeling. If someone swears on whatever, don’t listen, just go on facts.”

The Selling Sunset star added: “Gamers [from Big Brother] take it differently. The ones I was talking to trying to get traction that aren’t gamers, take that in a different way. I feel like there’s a moral difference and they can take advantage of people like us that would think that you would never do that.”

Ciara Miller

“I was kind of disgusted that she was a Traitor,” the Summer House star exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2025 “I just didn’t respect her game-playing.”

Ciara also pointed to Danielle swearing on her family members. “There were some off-camera swearing on kids, grandkids or whatever, and I just didn’t feel like the stakes were that high,” she claimed. “Granted, I don’t play game shows for a living, so I don’t know, but it just felt ridiculous to me.”

At the time, Ciara also came for Danielle’s acting skills, saying, “The tears were a lot. And I’m like, ‘These people aren’t actually dead.’ And then come to find out [she’s a Traitor]? Like, bitch, you’re doing the killing.”

Before her banishment — at Danielle’s hands — aired, Carolyn addressed her fellow Traitor’s gameplay.

“I thought it was ridiculous,” she told People in February 2025. “I thought we may not be getting along in the turret, but I thought we were together. I was really loyal to her. That was the person I was working with. Come on, girl!”

Carolyn initially “felt close” with Danielle before she ended up feeling betrayed. She also said Danielle’s fake crying made her “uncomfortable.”

“I don’t believe that we need to emotionally manipulate people on The Traitors,” she added. “I don’t believe we need to swear on our family or our children. I don’t believe we need to cross those moral lines. I watched last season, and this is supposed to be fun. What is this bitch doing?”

Carolyn ultimately found it “hard to watch” the season back. “It was uncomfortable,” she concluded. “They need to cast more clueless-ass people because that’s fun to watch.”

After her exit, Carolyn shared a poem she wrote for Danielle, saying, “Imagine loving this show and being so excited to have fun and play this game and then you show up with your JCPenney hat wanting to play hard. I get it girl but we are not the same. They say that expectations will leave you frustrated and sad. I didn’t expect to be around constant shaking and crying. I guess that was my bad. You are not just a Traitor. You are keeping Visine in business too. I hope those Big Brother fans are proud of you.”

“Danielle is an absolute icon in the world of reality TV,” Bob the Drag Queen told People in February 2025 about his fellow Traitor. “I don’t think y’all reading at home know how much Danielle Reyes has changed the game of reality TV. You literally don’t know. They do reality differently because of her impact.”

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly in February 2025, Nikki weighed in on Danielle, saying, “The one that sticks out to me the most would be Danielle because when you are trying to act too much, fake cry, and when you look back at the shields. It’s so messy.”

“Watching the Traitors, I’m like, ‘OK, you all are a hot mess,’” Robyn exclusively shared with Us in January 2025 about every Traitor. “I actually messaged Carolyn last night. I’m like, ‘You all are a hot mess. Why did you murder me? But you’re a hot mess,’ and you can just see that it’s going to implode, but it’s very compelling television.”

Robyn noted that she thought Carolyn was going to go far “because she was so under the radar” compared to her costars.

The actor took it upon himself to give Us some pointers that could have helped Danielle’s performance, sharing, “She shouldn’t be shaking and she shouldn’t be crying. When you cry in acting, the best way to cry is when you actually stop yourself from crying. You kind of hide away. It’s a vulnerable moment, and she was not doing that. She was doing the opposite of that, which makes [her] a terrible actor.”

He added: “She was crying for attention and she was giving Traitor [vibes] throughout the whole season. It just wasn’t the right timing for us to get her, but she’s playing hard and she’s competitive and I give her that.”

Why 1923's Sebastian Roche Asked Indigenous Women for 'Forgiveness'

22 February 2025 at 07:00

Sebastian Roché is no stranger to playing villains, but one brutal moment in 1923 made him change his approach.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the actor, 60, reflected on preparing to film his character, Father Renaud, killing Leenah Robinson’s Baapuxti — a student at the North Dakota Boarding School for Native Americans — in season 1. “There was a whole room full of Indigenous [and] Native American young women,” Roché recalled. “Before the scene, I wanted to clear the air and talk about what we were about to do because we’re recreating [the] history that truly happened.”

“I wanted to clear the air by kind of asking forgiveness before we did the scene,” the Vampire Diaries alum continued. “That really helped not only everyone [else] to ease the tension, but myself, because I suddenly felt unbelievably emotional in those scenes.”

“[It’s] so realistic that really, I got incredibly emotional and nervous,” Roche explained, noting that afterward, “I was truly physically exhausted.”

Sebastian Roche Teases Possible Jerry Jacks Return on ‘General Hospital’

In 1923, Roché’s Father Renaud is the abusive headmaster at the North Dakota Boarding School for Native Americans where Baapuxti and her cousin Teonna Rainwater (Aminah Nieves) are students. In season 1, Teonna kills two abusive nuns before fleeing into the night. After the priest discovers the deceased women, he interrogates Baapuxti for answers. When she refuses to reveal where Teonna has run off to, Father Renaud kills her. Season 2 picks up where the finale left off, with Father Renaud and U.S. Marshals looking for Teonna.

Filming season 2 was “physically taxing as well as emotionally taxing,” Roché told Us, noting his character goes through “a change” in the Yellowstone prequel’s return. “He’s accompanied by this marshal who may be even more ruthless than he is, so he sees an alter ego, a sort of carbon copy of himself, which makes him start to question certain things about himself.”

For Roché — whose previous roles include The Vampire Diaries’ Mikael Mikaelson and General Hospital’s Jerry Jacks — it’s crucial that he not view his characters as “evil” or “bad” when bringing them to life onscreen. Instead, he opts to go through a “psychological evaluation” of the character.

The Duttons Vow to ‘Defend or Die’ in Action-Packed ‘1923’ Season 2 Trailer

Anthony Hopkins always told me [to] read the script — he reads the script 80 times — and eventually, the script will tell you its secrets,” he told Us. “I could find [Father Renaud] is a terrifying character, but where does that ruthlessness come from?”

“He necessitates so much energy and focus, and it’s quite an exhausting character to play in the best possible way, because he’s so rich,” Roché added. “He may be one-sided to you, but to me, he’s extremely rich.”

Roché is looking forward to viewers witnessing his character’s journey play out in season 2. “You’re going to see many different aspects of Father Renaud,” he added, “which I found really, really exciting and interesting.”

Julian Edelman Loves Taylor Sheridan Shows — But Not ‘The Real Housewives’

22 February 2025 at 07:00

Former NFL star Julian Edelman is a big TV fan, but he’s not watching any Real Housewives franchises.

“Right now, I am watching Landman,” Edelman, 38, reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly, proving that he’s Just Like Us. “Lioness, very good. Taylor Sheridan — I like his stuff. It is fun. It’s easy. That’s what I’m watching right now.”

However, when asked about his favorite Real Housewives franchise, Edelman didn’t have an answer.

“I don’t even know any of them,” he said. “My mom’s going to kill me because she loves that stuff.”

Yes, Edelman talks to his mom quite frequently and even visits with her to get his clothes washed. But don’t be fooled: the former athlete separates all his clothes himself.

“Last time I did laundry, I actually did it, like, a month ago at my mom’s house,” he told Us. “Mom, you lost your touch. I don’t like my colors and whites together, so I did it myself.”

Edelman actually spends quite a lot of time with both of his parents. The NFL alum told Us about how he got a speeding ticket once, with his dad in the car.

“Last time I got a ticket, unreal story. Literally right after I won Super Bowl MVP [in 2019], I went to my hometown area. I was taking my dad and three friends. We were going to go to my shop,” he recalled. “Then all of a sudden, I got pulled over. Hometown cop — well, it was a county sheriff — gave me a ticket. Speeding 14 [mph] over the speed limit.”

Julian Edelman Says Tom Brady Leaves Him on Read, Texts Like 'Grandparent'

He continued to explain why they were going so fast.

“It was a weird section where you’re coming right before the freeway,” Edelman recalled. “I was going, like, 45 [mph] and then you slow down to get back on the freeway. It was a speed trap.”

Edelman joked that the police officer “clearly” did not know who he was.

For those who aren’t sports fans, Edelman played for the New England Patriots for 12 seasons from 2009 to 2020. He picked up some famous friends along the way and, yes, they snap photos together.

“The last famous person I asked to take a selfie with, I don’t even remember. Maybe [Rob Gronkowski]. It was just for friendship memories,” Edelman said. “But he’s famous.”

Demi Moore’s Pilaf and Beyond: Hollywood’s Most Pampered Pooches

22 February 2025 at 07:00

From international travel and diamond jewelry to movie premieres and magazine covers, some celeb pets live more luxe lifestyles than most people thanks to their A-list owners, who’ve turned them into Tinseltown’s hottest new accessory.

Well, semi-new. In the early aughts, stars like Paris Hilton would often parade around their tiny furry friends. From her OG Chihuahua Harajuku Bitch (who lived to 23!) to her current canine roster, Hilton has always been a connoisseur of small dogs. She now runs an Instagram account, @hiltonpets, for all of her fur babies — and like many early 2000s trends, petite pooches are back in fashion.

Yet the nepo pups of 2025 are more spoiled than ever, and their appearances on press tours (think: The Substance and Twisters) only bring more attention to their humans and their projects.

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of the luxurious lives of the dogs that truly are their star’s best friend:

At just 1.2 pounds, Moore’s micro-Chihuahua has seen about every wonder of the world. As a service animal, Pilaf is allowed anywhere, including the Louvre, in Lady Gaga’s arms during a talk show, Fashion Week front rows, film festivals, the French Open and even inside a Birkin bag. Moore estimates that Pilaf has flown to Europe and back more than 14 times.

Porsha Williams Addresses Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia's ICE Detainment

Porsha Williams Reacts to Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia's ICE Detainment: 'Disheartening'

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams has broken her silence after her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, was detained by immigration officials.

“It’s disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome,” Williams, 43, wrote in a Friday, February 21, Instagram statement. “At this moment, my priority is moving forward with my family.”

Us Weekly broke the news earlier on Friday that Guobadia, who was born in Nigeria, is currently being held at Georgia’s Stewart Detention Center, per U.S. Department of Homeland Security records. Guobadia’s status is listed as “in ICE custody,” referring to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (President Donald Trump signed a mass deportation plan into effect earlier this year, which means that illegal immigrants could be deported back to their home countries.)

According to Atlanta’s WSB-TV 2, Guobadia, now 60, immigrated to the U.S. in 1982 and allegedly overstayed his visa. He returned to America in 1986 and apparently also overstayed a work visa. Guobadia was arrested the next year, pleading guilty to bank and credit card fraud. After two more arrests, Guobadia was deported in 1992.

Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Detained by ICE Amid Mass Deportations

Guobadia was later able to return to the U.S., eventually meeting Williams in 2021. They got engaged within one month of dating and tied the knot in November 2022. News broke in February 2024 that Williams filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage.

“Thank you for your prayers & support. – PW,” she succinctly wrote via Instagram at the time, adding a broken heart emoji to the post.

Simon was previously married to RHOA alum Falynn Guobadia, initially denying that there was any overlap in the two romances. (Simon announced his engagement to Williams less than one month after revealing his divorce.)

“I’d like to seize this opportunity to thank every well-wisher of Porsha and I, whether via phone, text or DM,” Simon wrote via Instagram in May 2021. “You affirm my [belief] that finding love is possible for everyone who genuinely seeks one. Getting married again was never a question in my mind, but when. Did not expect to be blessed with a mate so soon. The interesting thing about life is that it is an individual journey.”

RHOA’s Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia’s Split: What We Know

He added at the time: “We travel this road not lightly considering we have [been] in relationships that have [taught] us to want and do better for ourselves. I asked her to marry me because we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and then some. We have done the individual work to sustain a healthy relationship, and I stand next to her, proud that we found each other.”

Williams, for her part, was previously married to Kordell Stewart from 2011 to 2013 before moving on with Dennis McKinley, with whom she shares daughter Pilar. Williams and McKinley split in 2018 and have continued to coparent their 5-year-old daughter.

“Pilar Jhena’ love of my life,” Williams gushed via Instagram of her child earlier this month. “You make every day brighter and I thank God for you endlessly.”

Inside Chelsea Handler's Dating Life: What Her New Man Has That Others Don't

22 February 2025 at 06:45

Chelsea Handler might not be shy about her love life, but she’s keeping details about her new man out of the public eye.

“I’m dating. Dating is wonderful. Now, I understand what kind of date I am,” Handler, 49, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting her upcoming memoir I’ll Have What She’s Having. “I want lovers all around the world. I want lovers all around the globe.”

Handler told Us that she’s “not a liar” with people she’s dating — especially about other men.

“I will be very honest and upfront with anyone who I’m dating, that you may not be the only one,” she explained. “And if you need to know, I’ll let you know, but I’m just letting you know. Hopefully you don’t need to ask any further questions.”

The author said she doesn’t “thrive with dependency,” especially in a romantic relationship.

Chelsea Handler's Dating History: From 50 Cent to Jo Koy

During her “Call Her Daddy” podcast episode earlier this month, Handler confirmed that she has an “awesome” new man in her life but does not want to have another public relationship. (Handler previously dated fellow comedian Jo Koy.)

Chelsea Handler Has Open Conversations About Dating Multiple People Says New Man Has No Ego
Chelsea Handler JOHN RUSSO

“I think an attractive quality in a man — the most attractive quality — which is hard to come by, is to find small egos on men. Men who have no egos,” Handler explained to Us. “Right now, I’m dating someone who has no ego. He’s very good at a lot of things, but he’ll never ever show you. He doesn’t need that kind of validation. He doesn’t need to be good at something. He doesn’t need to show off.”

She also detailed a sweet moment they had recently.

“The other day, he goes, ‘God, you know how lucky I am to be waking up next to you. Do you know how many men would die to wake up next to you?’ I wanted to go, ‘Do you know how many men would never in a million years even think about that?’ Nevermind, say it,” Handler said. “What a sweet thing to even think. Then a sweeter thing to even say, because just by virtue of saying that to someone means that you don’t have a big ego.”

Chelsea Handler Subtly Shades Ex Jo Koy at Critics Choice Awards After Globes Fail

While she seems to have her dating life on lock, marriage is not in Handler’s future.

“I’m not the marrying kind. I am not looking for children, as we well know. I’ve established that for a very long time now, and I just want to have lots of love stories. I feel like that’s kind of the most romantic way to look at love,” Handler said. “I’m glad that I know that about myself because I think so many women are starting to be more open about this idea that this love story and prince charming nonsense that we’re sold is so silly.”

Christopher Rich Thinks Brock and Reba Rekindled Their Romance After Finale

Christopher Rich Thinks Brock and Reba Rekindled Their Romance After Sitcom Ended

Brock and Reba didn’t end up together when the Reba sitcom came to an end — but Christopher Rich isn’t ruling out a reconciliation after the fact.

“That show has such a wonderful following that people will comment about it online, and there’s still a whole thing about Reba and Brock getting back together,” Rich, 71, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting his reunion with Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman on NBC’s Happy’s Place. “It kind of kills the show but that’s great credit to Reba and I.”

Rich has appreciated seeing the support for his and McEntire’s characters, adding, “The way we played them made people root for us to get back together as a couple. That’s pretty cool. It’s just so wonderful to work with [Reba and Melissa].”

While Rich doesn’t think Brock and Reba would have lasted, he could see them briefly getting back together. “There’s also a chance that Brock and Reba might have gotten back together for a brief period,” he noted. “That would be fun. It would investigate how exes sometimes reconnect for a brief time and then go, ‘Oh, I see why we divorced.'”

Which 'Reba' Sitcom Alums Have Appeared on Reba McEntire's 'Happy's Place'?

Reba, which aired from 2001 to 2007, followed a single mom (McEntire) who got a fresh start after her husband, Brock (Rich), left her for his pregnant dental hygienist, Barbra Jean (Peterman). Reba focused on raising her three kids — including her pregnant teen daughter (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) and her boyfriend (Steve Howey).

Before Rich weighed in with his theories, Peterman, 53, spoke to Us about where she thought each person — and couple — from the sitcom would be today.

“I think Barbra Jean and Brock would still be together. Van and Cheyenne would be. I think Reba would be either in a really committed relationship or married,” she shared in October 2024. “I honestly think Reba should absolutely have met the love of her life in her life.”

Rich hasn’t gotten the chance to reprise his role as Brock but NBC’s Happy’s Place paved the way for several Reba reunions. The onscreen collaboration was extra meaningful for Rich, who suffered a stroke six years prior.

‘Reba’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

“The crew made it feel like the old Reba set because we were having a blast. They had as much fun as I did, and that was really heartwarming for me. It felt like I was back home in a safe place,” he told Us. “I was really well taken care of. It was a blessing. I want to go back so badly.”

After Happy’s Place wrote his stroke into the script, Rich became more hopeful about revisiting Reba, saying, “Barbara Jean is not going to let Brock get too far away from her. So he’s going to be attached at the hip to Barbara Jean and complaining every step of the way probably. But I imagine if he was well, he’d still be out there playing golf.”

He continued: “That was an interesting thing about what would that be like for Brock to have had a stroke? Melissa had the funniest line. She said, ‘Well, if Brock and Barbara Jean ever get back together and he had the stroke, I can say it’s not so bad. He’s still a loving man. He always was. He doesn’t have any use of his left side — but to be honest — I never much liked what he did with his left hand anyway.'”

Happy’s Place airs on NBC Fridays at 8 p.m. ET.

Drew Barrymore Is 50! Revisit Her Life Through the Years

22 February 2025 at 06:21

Drew Barrymore has had her ups and downs — and they’ve all played out in the public eye. The former child star overcame a rough past and is now a Hollywood vet with more than 70 credits under her belt.

The California native launched onto the entertainment scene with the 1982 sci-fi E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, which was directed by her godfather, Steven Spielberg. The following year, she presented at the Academy Awards at age 4.

Barrymore was born into an acting legacy thanks to her father, John Drew Barrymore, who was an actor. Her great uncle Lionel Drew famously played Mr. Potter in Frank Capra’s 1946 classic It’s a Wonderful Life.

Today, Barrymore is a box-office success. She’s starred in a string of hits — including Never Been Kissed, The Wedding Singer, Charlie’s Angels and He’s Just Not That Into You. She’s added director to her résumé and made a splash on TV with Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet, which lasted three seasons from 2017 to 2019. Barrymore also hosts her eponymous daytime show, The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I don’t know how to date with kids. I’m not there yet. I have two young girls, and I don’t want to bring people home,” Barrymore said during a January 2022 episode of her talk show. “I think that it would take me a very long time to meet someone and get to know them before I could ever even introduce them to my daughters.”The Emmy nominee added: “I would maybe live with someone again. Maybe. But there’s no way I will ever, ever, ever be married again.”

How Jason Kelce Could Initially Tell Travis ‘Really Liked’ Taylor Swift

Jason Kelce Says He Could Tell Brother Travis ‘Really, Really Liked’ Taylor Swift ‘From the Get-Go’

According to Jason Kelce, brother Travis Kelce was “down bad” as soon as he started dating Taylor Swift.

“I remember the first time he said he was hanging out with her and I remember just being, like, ‘Are you kidding me? You’re hanging out with Taylor Swift, like, that’s insane [and] that’s awesome for you,’” Jason, 37, recalled during the Friday, February 21, episode of “The Steam Room” podcast. “You meet a lot of people [and] I think this felt different.”

Travis, 35, famously shot his shot with Swift, also 35, during a July 2023 episode of his and Jason’s “New Heights” podcast. At the time, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end called out Swift for “not wanting to meet” — and exchange phone numbers — when he attended her Eras Tour show in KC. Soon enough, Swift listened to Kelce’s “metal as hell” podcast shout-out and got in touch. They started quietly dating for several months before making their public debut at one of his Chiefs games in September 2023.

After Travis began hanging out with Swift, he informed his family of the blossoming romance.

Inside Jason Kelce's Bond With 'Wonderful' Taylor Swift

“What also felt different is the way he talks about her and talked about her from the moment he was with her,” Jason said on Friday. “You could tell how much he really, really liked her right from the get-go and just first impressions. I think that level early on of that was something that was very eye-opening to me when we first had discussions.”

Jason initially learned of Travis’ connection with Swift long before the romance became a mainstream headline.

“We knew before everyone else knew but it was not, like … it did not hit the group chat,” Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, joked during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast earlier this month. “Jase and I found out together, but we knew before they hard-launched with her going to a game.”

Jason Kelce Feels ‘Fortunate’ to Know ‘Down-to-Earth, Genuine’ Taylor Swift

Jason and Kylie, 32, met Swift in person for the first time at a 2024 playoff game and later linked up for an intimate double date.

“It was at home,” Kylie added on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “I don’t know that I really ate the meal. This is going to sound terrible. I didn’t really eat the meal because I was eight weeks pregnant.”

Kylie, who is currently pregnant with her and Jason’s fourth baby, later clarified that she didn’t refuse Swift’s cooking.

“I wouldn’t refuse anything, especially if I was without child,” Kylie said on the Thursday, February 20, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “The home-cooked meals that I did not get to enjoy were not because I refused to eat them, but because the child in my womb overwhelmed me with hormones that suggested if I consume anything other than crackers, that it might be seen again if you catch my drift. Anyone who has experienced pregnancy nausea knows that it’s not a choice. At eight weeks, that’s not a choice.”

Jenna Dewan Calls Her Kids the ‘Greatest Antidote’ for Overcoming Dark Roles

22 February 2025 at 06:15

Jenna Dewan has been an actress for more than two decades — and it’s her children who have been the best medicine for shaking off her darker roles.

“Over the years, I’ve learned once I walk off the set, I sort of leave it on set,” Dewan, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting season 7 of The Rookie. “Mentally, it’s kind of [like] as soon as I’m done, I’m done.”

The actress, who plays firefighter Bailey Nune on The Rookie, noted that “sometimes it lingers” which is when she turns to her family to get her out of the funk.

“Having children is like maybe the greatest antidote to this because you come home and they don’t really care,” Dewan explained. “They’re like, ‘What am I having for dinner? And give me a bath and come read five books to me.’ And so you naturally have to switch your brain.”

Jenna Dewan Reveals Which 'The Rookie' Scene Scared Daughter Everly

Dewan shares daughter Everly, 11, with ex-husband Channing Tatum. She also shares son Callum, 4, and daughter Rhiannon, 8 months, with fiancé Steve Kazee.

During season 7 of The Rookie, Dewan faced one of her darkest story lines after her character, Bailey, was kidnapped by her ex-husband, Jason, played by Kazee, 49. After years of domestic violence against Bailey, Jason was killed, but he still haunted her — especially in the Tuesday, February 18, episode of the ABC series.

The latest episode revealed Bailey coming face-to-face with another domestic violence survivor who helped her understand that she was in fact a victim. While Bailey has learned to lean on her husband, Officer John Nolan (Nathan Fillion), Dewan told Us it’s not always easy to leave those stories at the office.

Do The Rookie’s Bailey and Nolan Still Want Kids After Hitman Drama?

Dewan has implemented a series of self-help tactics to better help her pivot from character back to herself quicker.

“I can either reach out to somebody and talk to somebody and call somebody on the phone or take a bath, take a long hot shower and [start] visualizing and sort of draining off me into the drain and down with the water,” she told Us. “There’s some visualization techniques that I’ve done with certain more intense days on set.”

The Step Up actress noted that she has a “toolbox of how to play intense roles and not let it linger.”

Although Dewan can step back into her home life after a long day on set, she knows that isn’t the case for many domestic violence victims. Dewan appreciates The Rookie shining a light on the truths that come with this type of situation.

Jenna Dewan Calls Coparenting With Ex-Husband Channing Tatum a ‘Journey’

“I felt like I gained a lot more insight and empathy into domestic violence victims just in the reading of the scenes and researching it,” she shared, adding, “I do hope that there are people, women and men that are watching this, that feel seen in some way and maybe even unlocks something they didn’t think of before and helps them in their own life.”

Dewan said that she has gotten a “couple messages” from people who have connected with the Jason and Bailey story line. Fans who have told her, “’I’ve been in a situation like this. I’ve had a [man] that’s really hunted me down and never let go. And you’re giving me hope that I can move on and find a relationship that’s healthy and that gets me and sees me.’”

While Dewan has been grateful that fans have reached out, she told Us, “It’s heartbreaking to think how many people are living with this kind of control and psychological [and] physical abuse in their [homes].”

The Rookie airs on ABC Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.

If you or someone you know are experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.

Sitcom icon Patricia Heaton hides her Emmys in a surprising place she likens to Harry Potter’s cupboard under the stairs.

“I like to keep my career separate from my home,” the actress, 66, explains in her 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me feature in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. “So my Emmy awards are in a little Zoom room behind the laundry room, which is behind the kitchen. It’s my version of Harry Potter under the stairs.”

Heaton was nominated for seven Emmy awards for her performance as Debra Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond across nine seasons from 1996 to 2004. She took home the trophy twice, in 2000 and 2001. Her second Emmy was an especially poignant moment for her.

“The actress I [admired] growing up was Mary Tyler Moore, and the proudest moment of my career was when she presented me with my second Emmy,” Heaton shared with Us.

2. The TV show I’m binge-watching right now is the British series Joan, starring Sophie Turner.

3. When Everybody Loves Raymond wrapped, I took home a ceramic bird from Frank and Marie’s house. I love birds — and I couldn’t get the big fork and spoon [from the “Baggage” episode in season 7] in my car.

4. Filming the car scenes with the whole family for The Middle was always fun because I used to play old songs on my phone to educate our younger actors on how my generation grew up.

5. I like to keep my career separate from my home, so my Emmy awards are in a little Zoom room behind the laundry room, which is behind the kitchen. It’s my version of Harry Potter under the stairs.

6. One thing I learned from hosting Patricia Heaton Parties is to relax. People are just so happy that you’ve invited them over and that they don’t have to cook that they will love anything you do.

7. I have so many dream projects, but I’d like to work with Annette Benning. I’m a fan of everything she does.

8. I love my Nashville home. It’s peaceful, welcoming and has enough room for my most valuable possession: my family.

9. I’ve started dabbling in songwriting and it’s working out quite well so far.

10. My favorite book is The Information by Martin Amis.

Why Jeremiah Brent Is Hesitant to Do Another Show With Husband Nate Berkus

22 February 2025 at 05:45

As much as Jeremiah Brent loves his husband, Nate Berkus, quality time doesn’t have to include filming another show together.

“We did it for so long. I need a break,” Brent, 40, exclusively told Us Weekly when partnering with Almond Breeze. “I see him every day. I mean, I would do anything with him, but to be honest with you, doing this show, Queer Eye, has changed my life.”

The interior designer said working with Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan van Ness and Karamo Brown has had a “huge impact on me.”

“It’s changed who I am as a father and as a husband, as a member of the queer community,” he explained to Us. “So I’m happy doing this right now.”

Who Is Jeremiah Brent? 5 Things to Know About New 'Queer Eye' Cast Member

Married since 2014, Berkus, 53, and Brent share two children: daughter Poppy, 9 and son Oskar, 6. The pair previously worked together on hit reality shows including Nate and Jeremiah Home Project and Nate and Jeremiah: Save My House.

“I love Nate more now than I did from the day I met him,” Brent said about his husband. “I think the beautiful thing about our relationship and something we work really hard to protect is the idea of growing together while we both grow individually. It’s a thing that a lot of married couples have to navigate and it’s hard, but we both really respect each other.”

The founder of Jeremiah Brent Design said Berkus remains “my favorite person in the world” and is confident he would say the same thing.

“I love doing life with him,” he added. “It’s never boring.”

While the pair love their careers centered on interior design, both Berkus and Brent also savor every moment as parents to their two kids.

While Poppy and Oskar “challenge” the couple every day, it’s safe to say Brent wouldn’t want life any other way.

“I don’t know truly why we got so lucky with the kids we have and they are so good and so smart and so kind,” he told Us. “We’ve got two rules in our house, which is kindness and honesty.”

Another unofficial rule Brent may have in his house is to always have Almond Breeze in the kitchen. The designer teamed up with the brand to highlight the shelf-stable Almond milk varieties, including Unsweetened Vanilla and Unsweetened Original.

Bravo's ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

The brand will also be running a sweepstakes to offer a pantry makeover with Brent for one lucky winner.

“It’s the leading shelf-stable almond milk, which is really important, especially as a parent who’s always on the go,” Brent said. “The fact that I can put something in my pantry and not be scared that it’s going to be bad in two days, let alone a couple months, is wild and amazing. It never lasts that long for the record, but it’s good to know that it could.”

Ask Us: How Often Do Celebrities Use Ghostwriters for Their Memoirs?

Ask Us: How Often Do Celebrities Use Ghostwriters for Their Memoirs? Experts Weigh In

Celebrity memoirs captivate readers with tales of glitz, glamour and ultimately, humanity. But how much of that writing is actually done by the star themselves?

This was the exact question Kayla S. from Nashville asked in the most recent installment of Ask Us in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now: How often do celebrities use ghostwriters for their memoirs?

Well, the truth is: often!

“Writing a book is hard! So if a famous person — meaning, famous for anything other than being a writer — puts out a book, the chances are extremely high that they had help,” Lisa Dickey, ghostwriter of over 20 titles including New York Times bestsellers like Patrick Swayze and Lisa Niemi’s The Time of My Life and Jane Lynch’s Happy Accidents, told Us Weekly. “There are a few celebrities who write their own books with only the help of their editor. But that’s definitely the exception rather than the rule.”

Hayley Kiyoko and More Stars Who’ve Written Books

A few stars, such as Matthew McConaughey, opt to write their memoirs solo — “I think I’ll write a book / A word about my life. / I wonder who would give a damn / About the pleasures and the strife?” read the actor’s future-telling 1989 poem that opens the 2020 novel, titled Greenlights — but most enlist a cowriter and share the byline or call a ghostwriter.

Ask Us: How Often Do Celebrities Use Ghostwriters for Their Memoirs? Experts Weigh In
Matthew McConaughey Mike Coppola/Getty Images

“If you’re curious whether a ghostwriter helped with a particular book, just flip to the acknowledgements,” Dickey added. “Many celebs thank the ghost outright for having helped write it. And even those who don’t spell it out so plainly will often thank someone for helping to ‘find my voice’ or ‘get words on the page.’”

But don’t be mistaken: the process of working with a ghostwriter involves much more than just a diary handoff.

“It’s a bit like falling in love sometimes,” ghostwriter Sarah Tomlinson, who has penned more than 20 books including five NYT bestsellers, told Us of the process of finding the right writer for the job. “It’s really a matter of a particular energetic connection of a shared sense of humor, shared sensibility or even a shared life experience that brings you together.”

Tomlinson brings the typically behind-the-scenes process of ghostwriting to life in her 2024 fiction novel, The Last Days of the Midnight Ramblers, which follows ghost Mari as she navigates writing about the legacy of a legendary rock band.

The Wildest Name-Drops in the Biggest Celeb Memoirs From 2024

“I often compare what I do to being an engineer or a producer in the recording studio,” Tomlinson — who began her career as a music journalist — said. “Of course, a band or a songwriter has incredible talent with music, and they might have their whole album written, but they still need someone in the studio with them to help them realize it and make it sound as good as they can. I often think of the ghostwriter like that.”

Tomlinson’s latest title, Dancing on the Edge, was co-written with legendary actor Russ Tamblyn. She believes that “it’s a particular calling to write a book,” and while there are plenty of other ways celebrities can use their influence to make money, those who feel compelled to tell their story “feel it very strongly.”

Ask Us: How Often Do Celebrities Use Ghostwriters for Their Memoirs? Experts Weigh In
Sarah Tomlinson with Russ Tamblyn and his daughter Amber Tamblyn Steffie Nelson

Whether it’s spending a long weekend or several years together, Tomlinson says she gets to know her celeb clients “very intimately.”

Adds Dickey: “I’ve done all kinds of things with my clients: horseback riding, chanting Buddhist mantras, flying on private planes, going to church, attending court cases, traveling to their hometowns. I’ve read diaries, sifted through photo albums, shared difficult stories over martinis, offered embraces when they’ve cried. It’s an intense, personal, incredibly rewarding relationship — and it’s all in service to writing the best book possible, and telling their stories in their voice, in exactly the way they want them told.”

Music Books Coming Out This Fall and Winter: Cher’s Memoir and More

While ghosts historically stayed true to their nicknames, hiding in the shadows behind the scenes of bestsellers, the culture is changing. Writers behind zeitgeist-defining books like Prince Harry’s Spare (J.R. Moehringer), Demi Moore’s Inside Out (Ariel Levy) and Britney SpearsThe Woman in Me (reportedly Ada Calhoun, Sam Lansky and Luke Dempsey) are becoming bona fide celebrities in their own right.

“There was a funny moment a few years ago, when my wife was standing in line to board a flight,” Dickey recalled to Us. “A couple of guys were talking about Andre Agassi’s memoir, Open, which was famously written by the most celebrated ghostwriter working today [Moehringer]. One guy says to the other, ‘Man, it’s just not fair! Agassi’s a great tennis player, and he’s a really good writer too?’ She just rolled her eyes.”

She continued: “It has been really nice to see that perception change in recent years. You wouldn’t be embarrassed about hiring an architect if you want to build a house, right? Why should you be embarrassed about hiring a professional writer to help you write a book?”

Jay Ellis Breaks Down His Chemistry With 'Running Point' Costar Kate Hudson

Jay Ellis Talks Working With the Funny Kind Bit of a Smartass Kate Hudson on Running Point 019
Marco Sagliocco/Shutterstock for Rabbit Hole

For Jay Ellis, building on screen chemistry with Running Point costar Kate Hudson was nothing short of a slam dunk.

“Kate, first of all, she’s such an easy person to be around,” Ellis, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting his Creative Spirit Challenge for Aspiring Filmmakers with Rabbit Hole Distillery. “She’s funny, she’s kind, she’s a bit of a smart ass. You get all sides of her at the same time. Also, she’s, like, walking around singing all the time. She’s serenading you with this mermaid-like voice. It’s beautiful.”

The duo play colleagues on the sports drama, which premieres on Netflix on Thursday, September 27. Ellis portrays Jay Brown, the head coach of fictitious NBA team the Los Angeles Waves. Hudson, meanwhile, plays Isla Gordon: a former party girl who finds herself thrown into the role of team President when her older brother Cam (Justin Theroux) heads to rehab to tend to his drug addiction. Together, they are tasked with proving that the Waves have a “winning roster” with the hodge-podge group of players they’ve assembled.

Ellis said that while he had no “expectation” going into working with Hudson, he knew the pair would have multiple scenes together — and was happy to discover how well they gelled as actors.

Kate Hudson Hosted a Crawfish Boil for Entire 'Running Point' Cast

“There’s just some people you just click with. I feel fortunate to have worked with someone like Kate,” he continued. “I feel like acting is constantly giving gifts to somebody. I’m giving you a gift and then you’re reacting to it, and then you’re giving me a gift and we’re going back and forth. And I think when you’re locked in, it’s magic and you create something that hopefully people really feel and relate to…. And that was working with Kate.”

While starring alongside Hudson was clearly a high point of getting to work on the series, Ellis was also excited to bring a big part of himself to the role — other than his first name — by using his expertise. While attending Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, the actor was a member of the basketball team, graduated Suma Cum Laude and served as student body president.

“It’s crazy that I got to bring this much of my personal life to a role every single day. It was kind of wild,” Ellis told Us at the Running Point premiere in Los Angeles earlier this month. “It definitely took me back to that time, which was a lot of fun obviously. It was great. I thought about my teammates. I thought about injuries, guys who had gotten hurt. I thought about my own selfishness or my ambition of wanting to be the best player on my team. I thought of all of those things and how that relates.”

Ellis added that there were differences from his own basketball career, too, which made for an “interesting experience.” He told Us: “I’m a coach on the show, having to talk to these younger players. And [my character is] only also a year or two removed from playing [himself].”

That competitive spirit that Running Point entices, Ellis said, also felt relatable. “I find myself constantly wanting to best the last thing or push a little bit further,” he explained of his own competitive nature, which he says he directs mostly at himself. “That could be from a workout to a role to my next take, to be honest with you, when I’m on set. Part of that I think just lives in me innately. And I think another part of it has just been kind of conditioned through sports.”

Perhaps Ellis’ love of competition will lend itself useful when serving as a mentor to an up-and-coming filmmaker for his Creative Spirit Challenge with Rabbit Hole Distillery. The partnership features an exclusive contest for aspiring filmmakers and the launch of a limited-edition distillery series whiskey release.

“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it until I can no longer say it: the filmmakers of tomorrow are making short films today,” Ellis said of his decision to partner with Rabbit Hole “They’re making their first projects today. And I think if we are not finding a way to support emerging artists, then we’re only hurting ourselves in the long run. … So I think any opportunity we have to get out there and help folks get their start and be able to tell their story and from their point of view is something that we should be doing as artists.”

Ellis added that he particularly enjoys working with companies like Rabbit Hole because of how much they “support the arts” and “realize the importance of storytelling in our culture at large.”

This year, Rabbit Hole is showing that unwavering support by teaming up with Ellis to invite emerging filmmakers to enter the Creative Spirits Challenge by submitting a video sharing their story and why they deserve to win. The grand prize winner will receive a professional-grade Canon camera and a one-on-one mentoring session with Ellis, while three runners-up will also receive professional-grade Canon cameras. A collaborative whiskey release will follow in spring 2025.

Ellis is hyped to lead an emerging creative, but just hopes the lucky winner is ready to get down to business.

What to Know About Mindy Kaling’s Series ‘Running Point’

“There’s a whole syllabus for these guys. They’re gonna fall asleep. I’m gonna, slap the ruler and wake ’em up, and we’re gonna go through it again. There’ll be a pop quiz,” he joked. “ You know, I think there’s so many things that go into being able to make a career doing this. Obviously there’s passion, there’s creativity, there’s point of view in your own storytelling, [but] there’s [also] the marketing aspect of it, there’s the self-confidence aspect of it, there’s the craftsmanship of writing, the craftsmanship of filmmaking, the craftsmanship of being able to talk to actors and direct while also knowing lighting and camera lenses and all of those things. So I really hope that if I am not able to give them everything that they’re looking for in terms of questions or guidance or advice. I want to be able to point them in a direction.”

For Ellis, knowledge is power. “I really believe in information and I really believe that no one person has the answer,” he told Us, before adding with a laugh, “I just really hope that whoever this poor, poor winner is, I really just hope that they walk away with understanding their story matters. And that we want their films in the world.”

Running Point premieres on Netflix Thursday, February 27.

Tom Schwartz Is Fine Just Making Cameos on ‘The Valley’ After 'VPR' Shakeup

Tom Schwartz is only making cameos on The Valley right now — and that’s how he prefers it.

“Time will tell. But they want to keep — this is my interpretation — The Valley pure,” Schwartz, 42, exclusively told Us Weekly at the L.A. Art Show Opening Night on Wednesday, February 19. “I think it is good the way it is.”

Schwartz said he will still make appearances every now and then, adding, “I am sure they will sprinkle me in at times. I just love the Bravo family so of course I would love to be a part of whatever world I fall into.”

Despite not playing a large role on screen, Schwartz is excited to watch the drama unfold.

‘Vanderpump Rules' Stars Who Left the Series: Where Are They Now?

“They might pepper a little Schwartz in here or there. We will see. What I do know just because they are my friends and I know what is going on, it is going to be a hell of a season,” he teased. “Obviously I wasn’t there all the time. But just from talking to my friends who were on the show, it is going to be a doozy.”

He continued: “It is going to be a hell of a season. Maybe one of the best second season debuts ever — from what I am hearing.”

In addition to Schwartz, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies and Lala Kent are also expected to appear on the Vanderpump Rules spinoff. Schwartz appeared on Vanderpump Rules since season 1 as Bravo fans saw his highs and lows over the years.

The Valley, which premiered in 2024, featured an appearance from Schwartz before Bravo confirmed Vanderpump Rules would be going through a cast overhaul for season 12. The network originally put the new Vanderpump Rules season on pause after the cast ended up at odds due to Tom Sandoval’s split from Ariana Madix following his affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.

While the new cast list has yet to be announced, Schwartz is one of multiple stars who have opened up about being ready for a change.

Disney Channel! Lifetime! The ‘Pump Rules’ Cast’s Most Random Acting Gigs

“I’m at peace with it. I kind of knew [the announcement] was coming. But I don’t necessarily love the way [season 11] ended,” he shared with Us in December 2024, which was one month after his exit from Vanderpump Rules was announced. “It was a little heavy, a little toxic, a little fractured.”

Schwartz argued that there should have been “one more season” with him, Sandoval, Ariana, Lala, Katie Maloney, Scheana and James Kennedy before Bravo introduced a new group to take over.

“But I mean, the network made the right decision, I guess,” he continued. “And we got 11 seasons. That’s insane. I’m so grateful for that. So I have nothing to gripe or complain about. It was probably 11 of the best years of my life. I got to travel the world. And yeah, man, it was exhilarating.”

A Guide to 'VPR' Stars Appearing on Other Shows While Season 12 Is on Pause

Schwartz admitted he felt “nostalgic” and “sentimental” since news broke that he wasn’t coming back for season 12, adding, “I still talk to everyone — mostly everybody. Everyone’s thriving, everyone’s doing their thing.”

While Schwartz isn’t officially joining The Valley cast, his former VPR castmates are excited to share the screen with him again. (Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute and Brittany Cartwright became leads on The Valley after past stints on Vanderpump Rules.)

“Why not bring them in there and have them around once in awhile,” Jax, 45, told Us on Wednesday. “I don’t mind. They live in The Valley so it makes sense and they are our friends.”

Andrew Garfield Is Dating Oscar Nominee Monica Barbaro: Report

Andrew Garfield Sparks Dating Rumors With Monica Barbaro

Andrew Garfield is reportedly off the market.

The actor, 41, is dating Oscar-nominated actress Monica Barbaro, People reports. “They’ve been really lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” a source told the outlet.

Us Weekly reached out to Garfield and Barbaro’s reps for comment.

Barbaro, 35, starred as Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown, and she is nominated at next month’s 97th annual Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She’s up against Ariana Grande (Wicked), Felicity Jones (The Brutalist), Isabella Rossellini (Conclave) and Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez). Prior to starring in the awards season darling, Barbaro played Phoenix in 2022’s blockbuster sequel Top Gun: Maverick.

Andrew Garfield's Dating History: Emma Stone, Rita Ora and More

The new couple were photographed together in Los Angeles at W Magazine‘s Annual Best Performances Party on January 4 alongside Garfield’s longtime pal Eddie Redmayne. In mid-February, the pair were spotted by fans in London watching Jonathan Bailey perform Richard III on the West End. Garfield wore a naive hoodie and red baseball cap, and Barbaro also opted to keep a low profile in a blue baseball cap.

Garfield — who was previously nominated at the Oscars for Best Actor in both 2017 for Hacksaw Ridge and 2022 for Tick, Tick… Boom! — dated Dr. Kate Tomas for several months last year. The self-described “professional witch” confirmed the breakup news in October after a fan inquired about their relationship status via Instagram. “We broke up months ago but I’m sure he will be happy to know that he is loved 🥰❤,” she wrote.

Later that month, the We Live in Time star went viral when he spoke about love on Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date interview series. Dimoldenberg, 30, pointed out that plenty of people start dating by “meeting someone at work,” especially in the entertainment industry.

“Yeah, exactly. And how many of those relationships work out?” Garfield asked.

He continued, “I mean, it’s, like, flash in the pan stuff, usually.”

One of Garfield’s most public relationships, however, was with his The Amazing Spider-Man costar Emma Stone. Us Weekly confirmed the costars were officially dating in 2011. They called it quits for good in October 2015, but the two still speak highly of each other.

Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield's Relationship Timeline: The Way They Were

“We care about each other so much, and that’s a given, that’s kind of this unconditional thing,” Garfield told Vanity Fair in January 2017. “There’s so much love between us and so much respect [. . .] I’m her biggest fan as an artist. So for me, it’s been bliss to be able to watch her success and watch her bloom into the actress that she is.”

Jane Seymour Was ‘Forced To’ Wear Jeans, and Now She’s ‘Thriving’

21 February 2025 at 17:35

Jane Seymour never wore jeans until she was “forced to,” as she exclusively told Us Weekly.

“When I came to America, I would never wear pants,” she shared. “I was never about the legs.” Only when she became comfortable in her own skin did she finally embrace denim, as she was recently encouraged by her inner circle, who (rightfully) reminded her that she’s “got great legs!”

“‘How do you have legs like that in your mid-70s?’” she recalled many people asking her, which was all the more reason to reconsider jeans that show off the former Bond Girl’s gams.

Seymour, 74, credits her newfound sense of self-confidence (and denim styling choices) to a science-backed skincare regime that she describes as so “brilliant” it’s “working gangbusters.”

Why Jane Seymour Is Having ‘More Passionate’ Sex Than Ever at 72

She’s talking about The Body Firm, the famous anti-aging body treatment system, Crépe Erase, which launched a “revolutionary” new product this month, Youthful Essence.

The inspiration for the latest “miracle” product is all about beauty from the inside out, which means a vitamin-packed antioxidant powder, a daily probiotic and an adaptogen supplement, which, when taken together, are said to balance your gut while boosting your mind and mood.

“That’s why I’m excited,” Seymour gushed. “[It’s] the mindset. It’s [the] ‘you deserve it,’” she said. “You’re doing this for you.” The actress is a firm believer that “feeling healthy and full of life” starts from the inside out. According to the Wedding Crashers actress, it’s all the more important as women begin to reach a certain age and many experience what she calls “unseen-ism.”

Fortunately, The Body Firm is designed for women age 45 and up; however, Seymour also revealed that the men in her life love it just as much and frequently “steal” her favorite products.

Jane Seymour Feels ‘Post-Traumatic Numbness’ After California Wildfire

According to Seymour, thanks to The Body Firm’s new inside-out approach to health and beauty, she can now “go out there into the world and just say, ‘Hey guys, I’m still around, actually.’” She also added, “What’s more, I am thriving. And you might want a bit of this because I’m probably having more fun now than I was 10, 15 years ago.”

Even more fun? She’s doing it in everyday denim — and what’s not to love about that?

Chris Rich's 'Happy's Place' Episode Had 'Reba' Nods — and a Cheating Joke

21 February 2025 at 17:25
Reba Alum Chris Rich Post Stroke Health Battle in His Words

Christopher Rich‘s debut on Happy’s Place came with several nods to his days playing Brock on Reba — including a cheating joke.

During the Friday, February 21, episode of Happy’s Place, Rich, 71, made a cameo as Maverick, which reunited him with Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman two decades after they shared the screen on Reba. Rich’s debut included several Easter eggs that Rich found “so delightful” for the audience.

“I liked that they let me call [Reba’s character Bobbie] Red at one point. That’s what I called her on the show,” he exclusively told Us about Brock’s reference to Reba on the hit sitcom. “Frequently, those little things are magnificent. And Reba [the show] has such a wonderful following that people will comment about it online. It was just so wonderful to work with those two women. They took such good care of me and they were very, very protective.”

Rich’s return to acting had him playing a tattoo artist who immediately caught Gabby’s (Peterman) eye. Friday’s episode even included a line where Gabby asked Maverick whether he had a wife she could steal him away from. The significance? Peterman and Rich previously played a couple on Reba, who got together after Brock cheated on his wife Reba (McEntire).

Which 'Reba' Sitcom Alums Have Appeared on Reba McEntire's 'Happy's Place'?

The trio originally became household names when Reba aired from 2001 to 2007. The hit show followed a single mom who had to start over after her husband, Brock, left her for his dental hygienist, Barbra Jean (Peterman). Reba attempted to start fresh while raising her three kids — including her pregnant teen daughter (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) and her boyfriend (Steve Howey).

McEntire, 69, and Peterman, 53, reunited two decades later as costars on NBC’s Happy’s Place, which paved the way for them to reunite with Rich and Howey as well. Rich’s episode holds extra significance after he stepped away from acting for several years following a massive stroke.

“The crew made it feel like the old Reba set because we were having a blast. They had as much fun as I did and that was really heartwarming for me. It felt like I was back home in a safe place,” Rich shared with Us. “I was really well taken care of. It was a blessing. I want to go back so badly.”

In fact, Rich already has an idea for how he could return, adding, “I think that Maverick should come back because Gabby wants to have a baby. I make pretty children.” Rich doesn’t mind playing a new character alongside Peterman and McEntire — but the Reba nostalgia couldn’t be avoided.

‘Reba’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

“It was like coming out of the dark into the light. I almost didn’t leave the house at first when I had the stroke. I was so embarrassed and afraid people would look at me and go, ‘God, what happened to that guy?’ But you have to get over it and just let it breathe,” he noted. “That was an interesting thing about what would that be like for Brock to have had a stroke? Melissa had the funniest line. She said, ‘Well, if Brock and Barbra Jean ever get back together and he had the stroke, I can say it’s not so bad. He’s still a loving man. He always was. He doesn’t have any use of his left side — but to be honest — I never much liked what he did with his left hand anyway.'”

Rich is grateful he starred on a show that still has such a lasting impact.

“We started off with the intention of doing something real. Originally, it was just a divorce show. They didn’t even want Brock to be a regular character. He was just going to make an occasional appearance. But I lobbied as someone who came from a divorced family and had a divorce,” he continued. “I know what that’s like. There’s a lot of material there. Obviously, we found it and there’s a lot of material in that fractured family. It was very important to show what it was like for a divorced family to navigate the seas of life today.”

Happy’s Place airs on NBC Fridays at 8 p.m. ET.

Porsha Williams’ Ex Simon Guobadia Detained by ICE Amid Mass Deportations

Porsha Williams’ estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, has been detained by ICE, Us Weekly can confirm.

Guobadia, who was born in Nigeria, is currently being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s records, obtained by Us on Friday, February 21.

His status is listed as “in ICE custody,” meaning he is being held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. (The detainment comes amid President Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan, which he signed into effect earlier this year after taking the Oval Office. Under the order, illegal immigrants could be deported back to their home countries.)

Guobadia, 60, came from Nigeria to the United States in 1982 and allegedly overstayed his visa and was declared deportable in 1985, according to Atlanta’s WSB-TV 2. Guobadia returned to America in 1986 and once again overstayed his work visa.

He was arrested in 1987 and pleaded guilty to bank and credit card fraud. Guobadia was later arrested two more times and deported back to Nigeria in 1992.

Guobadia was able to return to the U.S. one month later, according to the news station, which reported on Friday that he applied for naturalization in 2016. However, Guobadia was denied by the U.S. government.

In February 2024, Guobadia made headlines again when the Atlanta Black Star reported that he had been repeatedly denied residency in the U.S. At the time, Guobadia seemed unbothered by his citizen status.

Andy Cohen Is ‘Surprised’ by Porsha Williams' Split From Simon Guobadia

“Happy Tuesday to all who ever overcame and persevered in life. You are winning👌🏾👌🏾#42yearsLivinginAmerica,” he wrote via Instagram in February 2024, sharing a photo smoking a cigar and riding on a golf cart in Georgia.

Days later Williams, 43, filed for divorce after being married to Guobadia for 15 months. The pair tied the knot in November 2022 after getting engaged in May 2021.

Porsha Williams Thanks Fans for 'Support' After Simon Guobadia Divorce News

Us reported in November 2024 that Williams was awarded “temporary, sole and exclusive possession, use and occupancy” of her and Guobadia’s shared residence in Georgia, meaning she could still film The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The order included permission for Williams to have the “unrestricted right to film and produce television, film or social media” content on the premises. The docs obtained by Us also stated that Guobadia shall “execute any and all documents necessary to facilitate.”

Williams and Guobadia signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their wedding, but their divorce is ongoing.

Us Weekly has reached out for comment.
