Unlike some other ceremonies, the SAG Awards give celebs a chance to show off their style and pack a little extra punch with their outfits.
While the show never fails to serve up glitz and glamour, it’s garnered quite a reputation for out-of-the-box outfits. There’s never a shortage of buzz-worthy ensembles, from jumpsuits to sequins or daring dresses.
Perhaps one of the show’s most iconic outfits came to pass in 2010 when Kate Hudson slayed in a backless Emilio Pucci gown that was seemingly a page of Andy Anderson’s playbook. The actress topped best-dressed lists across the board with a low hem that showed off her toned physique and delicate silver detailing.
Unfortunately, not all red-carpet moments are as amazing as Hudson’s. In 2014, Meryl Streep made headlines in a black dress designed by Stella McCartney. Even though the star can do no wrong in our eyes, many thought the gown looked like a skirt that was pulled up above her shoulders.

Those hoping to see Patrick Mahomes Sr. and John Rocker go head-to-head, prepare to be disappointed — the fight has officially been canceled, and Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy claims Brittany Mahomes is partially to blame.
The initial plan was for the two former MLB relief pitchers to participate in one of Barstool’s Rough N’ Rowdy fights, scheduled for April 18. However, according to Portney, Brittany — wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II — quashed the idea.
“Mahomes’ agent, the football player, and Brittany — from what I am told — intervened and were like, ‘There’s no way this fight’s happening,'” Portnoy, 47, said during a Friday, February 21, appearance on “The Unnamed Show” podcast. “’We’re going to cut this guy off if he does it.’”
Mahomes Sr., 54, and Rocker, 50, made news in the hours after the Super Bowl in New Orleans, where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Chiefs. The two were recorded having a heated argument on Bourbon Street, trading insults as a couple onlookers tried to separate them.
The elder Mahomes, who pitched 11 seasons in the Major Leagues, is currently on probation and told a court that the squabble was staged to boost publicity for the fight, according to TMZ. Had it been real, he would have been in violation of his probation.
The outlet also reported that Mahomes Sr. was due to make $85,000 in the fight, with the possibility of more based on pay-per-view numbers.

After their tiff on Bourbon Street, Rocker and Mahomes continued their feud via X.
“You really haven’t changed one bit in the last 25 years,” Mahomes Sr. posted on February 11. “Keep my name out your loud mouth.”
“You wouldn’t have had the balls to say that to my face the other night. Lanky ass clown,” Rocker replied in a quote, adding in separate post, “Mahomes is lucky he got away. I would have Rocked him.”
While their fight in New Orleans was staged, the hate between the two is apparently real.
“They came to us to do this,” Portnoy said of the showdown. “How would we ever come up with this concept. Like, Oh, let’s put John Rocker vs. Pat Mahomes Sr. Like, who would ever think of that?”
He added, “They came to us and said they hated each other and wanted to fight.”
The rivalry between Mahomes Sr. and Rocker goes back decades. Mahomes Sr. pitched for the New York Mets in 1999 and 2000 while Rocker was with the Atlanta Braves. The Mets and Braves were heated rivals at the time, with Rocker going on an infamous racist and homophobic rant in a 2000 interview with Sports Illustrated about the people of New York.
Neither pitcher has publicly addressed the fight’s cancellation.

Phil Collins has offered a heartbreaking update on his health.
“The thing is, I’ve been sick. I mean very sick,” Collins, 74, told MOJO magazine in an interview published on Tuesday, February 18.
The legendary singer-songwriter, whose daughter is Emily in Paris star Lily Collins, has largely retreated from the public eye following the completion of his band Genesis’s The Last Domino? Tour in March 2022. A myriad of health problems meant Phil sat in a chair during those shows, while his son, Nic Collins, replaced him on drums.
In this new interview, Phil admitted that his health setbacks have dampened his interest in writing and recording new music.
“I keep thinking I should go downstairs to the studio and see what happens. But I’m not hungry for it anymore,” he conceded.
Collins is a type 2 diabetic and also suffered nerve damage from a spinal injury in 2007. He was unable to play drums at all for a period of time, before undergoing surgery in 2015. Following this procedure, Collins triumphantly announced in October 2015 that he was “no longer retired.”

The rocker reunited with Genesis bandmates Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks for their second and final reunion tour in 2020, but several Last Domino? concerts faced postponements in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Peter Gabriel, who fronted Genesis between 1967 and 1975, chose not to join his bandmates on stage but attended their final show at London’s O2 Arena to support Collins.
“Phil wasn’t in as great a shape as he used to be, but they did a great job,” Gabriel told MOJO. “Me going was a rite of passage, really. I’d been part of the creation of Genesis, so I wanted to be there at the end.”
During an appearance on BBC News in 2023, Rutherford revealed that Collins was “much more immobile” due to his health problems.
“He’s fine now at home, he’s enjoying life,” Rutherford said. “He’s worked so hard over the years. I think he’s enjoying his time at home.”
A more recent update came from the 2024 documentary Phil Collins: Drummer First, in which he spoke candidly about how his health problems have impacted his lifelong passion for drumming.
“If I can’t do what I did as well as I did it, I’d rather relax and not do anything,” he insisted. “If I wake up one day and I can hold a pair of drumsticks, then I’ll have a crack of it. But I just feel like I’ve used up my air miles. It’s still kind of sinking in a bit … I’ve spent all my life playing drums. To be suddenly not be able to do that is a shock.”
Collins got his first plastic drum at age 3. As a professional, he sold a staggering 33.5 million solo albums in the U.S. throughout his career, on top of the more than 100 million he sold with Genesis worldwide. Initially hired as the group’s drummer, Collins took over as lead singer as well following Gabriel’s departure in 1975.
He left Genesis in 1996 to focus strictly on his solo work, but the brand briefly carried on with Ray Wilson as new frontman until 2000. The 1980s lineup of Genesis reunited for the Turn It On Again Tour in 2007 and contributed to the BBC documentary Genesis: Together and Apart in 2014.
Collins has received numerous industry awards as well, including a Best Original Song Oscar for “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Disney’s Tarzan soundtrack. He has won eight Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Genesis in 2010.

Katie Thurston is feeling optimistic after the latest update in her breast cancer journey.
“Good news! My cancer hasn’t metastasize[d],” the former Bachelorette, 34, shared via her Instagram Story on Friday, February 21. Despite the small victory, Thurston noted that the cancer was found in her lymph nodes “as expected.”
Detailing her next steps, she continued, “Two more appointments left in LA before officially moving to NYC March 1st. The anticipated order of things is fertility (egg/embryo freezing), chemo, then surgery.”
Noting that the past week has been “A LOT,” Thurston concluded her post by writing, “I’m so thankful for my family, friends, and community here for helping me make it to my current stage [sic] of mind. Today I feel calm, less scared, and ready.”
Earlier this month, Thurston shocked Bachelor Nation with the news of her breast cancer diagnosis. “I experienced a range of emotions over the past two weeks. Despair. Anger. Sadness. Denial. And then strength. Purposeful. Ready,” she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post on Saturday, February 15. “I cried a lot. I tried to even make a video instead of this post and couldn’t.”
Thurston declared that she’s “ready to fight this” and thanked her fiancé, Jeff Arcuri, for being a pillar of support. “I don’t know how I’d do this without you. The selfless love that you smother me in is beyond anything I imagined I’d be blessed with,” she gushed. “I love you to the fullest in this lifetime and the next.”

She shared more details about her diagnosis via her Instagram Stories that same day, revealing she initially dismissed a “small lump in my breast” as a benign cyst like one she had previously removed. After the spot continued to give her pain, she underwent a mammogram and “had to get multiple biopsies taken and sent off for testing to confirm.” Thurston noted that she was “waiting on learning what stage” her cancer was in.
While navigating her health battle, Thurston has been working on moving to New York City, “ideally near Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center,” she told followers on Tuesday, February 18.
Thurston underwent another biopsy earlier this week, revealing via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, February 19, that the procedure “went much better this time.” She added, “Took lorazepam, explained my last appt struggles and asked for more numbing, and they allowed Jeff to be there holding my hand. Waiting between appointments for the next one.”

The former reality star praised her fiancé once again after Arcuri, 36, postponed his upcoming comedy shows in New Zealand, Australia and Japan to help her instead.
“I was originally planning on moving back to [Washington] to be with my family and start care while Jeff continued his world tour,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, February 20. “But he opted to postpone the upcoming dates to be by my side and I’ll forever be so thankful for this selfless act.”

Jane Fonda has revealed that she nearly quit acting after a disastrous experience on her first-ever movie.
“I had decided after my first movie, Tall Story, that I was going to quit while I was ahead,” Fonda, 87, revealed to Variety in an interview published on Wednesday, February 19.
Jane comes from one of Hollywood’s most famous acting families – her father, Henry Fonda, won an Oscar for On Golden Pond in 1982, and brother Peter Fonda cowrote and starred in 1969’s counterculture classic Easy Rider. Jane faced lofty expectations when she started her career on Broadway in 1960, before making her film debut in Tall Story that same year.
The romantic comedy cast Jane opposite Anthony Perkins in an adaptation of Howard Nemerov’s 1957 novel The Homecoming Game, but working with director Joshua Logan was not pleasant for her.
“I didn’t enjoy the experience. And before we started shooting, Josh Logan, the director-producer, said to me, ‘You should have your jaw broken so your cheeks aren’t so puffy.’ Stuff like that really builds a girl’s confidence,” she recalled in her new interview.
Jane walked away from Tall Story feeling unsure about her future as an actress, before an unexpected offer to star in 1962 drama Walk on the Wild Side changed her life forever.

“That made all the difference in the world. [Her Walk on the Wild Side role] was a real character,” she said. “She wasn’t some cheerleader from next door that I had a hard time relating to. She rode around in a boxcar and then she becomes a hooker in a high-class brothel run by Barbara Stanwyck. And I had a blast.”
Jane earned her first Golden Globe Award, for Most Promising Newcomer, for Walk on the Wild Side. Throughout the 1960s, she racked up a string of acclaimed performances in Western comedy Cat Ballou, Neil Simon‘s film adaptation of his hit play Barefoot in the Park and, of course, 1968’s science fiction classic Barbarella.
She became one of Hollywood’s most enduring stars into the present day, which is why she will be presented with the Life Achievement Award by Julia Louis-Dreyfus at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, February 23.
“Given annually to an actor who fosters the ‘finest ideals of the acting profession,’ the SAG Life Achievement Award will be the latest of Fonda’s esteemed catalog of international industry and public distinctions recognizing her masterful performances and impactful activism,” SAG-AFTRA confirmed via its website in October 2024. “Jane Fonda’s acclaimed career, which spans six decades, has captivated audiences with her versatile performances across film, television and theater, while using her platform to champion critical social causes.”
Jane responded to being chosen for the prestigious award by saying that there’s “no honor like the one bestowed on you by your peers.”
“SAG-AFTRA works tirelessly to protect the working actor and to ensure that union members are being treated equitably in all areas, and I am proud to be a member as we continue to work to protect generations of performers to come,” she added.

Dave Grohlhas made headlines for both his music career and his personal life through the years.
Grohl rose to fame when he joined the band Nirvana in 1990. Four years later, lead singer Kurt Cobain died by suicide. In the months that followed, Grohl founded Foo Fighters.
Off stage, the 19-time Grammy Award winner was married to his first wife, Jennifer Leigh Youngblood, from 1994 to 1997. He moved on with his second wife, Jordyn Blum, in 2003. The couple welcomed daughters Violet, Harper and Ophelia in 2006, 2009 and 2014, respectively.
In September 2024, Grohl revealed that he had welcomed another child outside of his marriage. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote via Instagram. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
He concluded, “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Grohl joined the band in 1990 when Cobain and Krist Novoselic were looking for a guitarist. The next year, Nirvana released their album Nevermind, which is considered to be one of the best records of all-time, featuring songs like “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” The band released a second album, In Utero, in 1993. Cobain died by suicide the following year.
Cobain’s wife, Courtney Love, and Grohl began feuding in 1999 when he questioned her songwriting abilities during an interview with Howard Stern. The drama continued through the years, with a Foo Fighters song “Let It Die” seemingly featuring digs at Love and with Love accusing Grohl of hitting on her and Cobain’s daughter, Frances. (Grohl’s publicist called the accusations “absolutely untrue” at the time.)
Love and Grohl seemingly made amends at the 2014 Hall of Fame Ceremony. "It was a nice excuse to finally be friends," he told Us Weekly later that year. "It was one of the greatest nights of my life. Wish Kurt could've been there!"
Grohl dated Tina Basich for two years in the 1990s. After parting ways, Basich claimed that he was seeing another woman during their romance. In her 2003 memoir, Pretty Good for a Girl: The Autobiography of a Snowboarding Pioneer, Basich recalled Grohl being “busy.”
“I don’t know how anyone in his profession can have a normal relationship with a girlfriend … or two, as it turned out,” she wrote. “I found out secondhand, through the grapevine, when it seemed like everyone else in the world knew about it but me.”
When Basich tried to get details from Grohl, he told her “nothing” and ended their relationship. “All I got was a five-minute phone call from him, after five weeks of me calling and trying to get ahold of him because I just had to know if these rumors were true and had to hear it straight from the source,” she wrote.
Grohl tied the knot with Jennifer Leigh Youngblood in 1994 and the pair split three years later. In an interview with The Guardian in 2007, it was printed that Grohl “admitted [to] infidelities that led to his divorce from first wife.” Further details about his split from Youngblood were not released.
Grohl met his second wife, Blum, when he and his then-bandmate Taylor Hawkins were at the Sunset Marquis whiskey bar in 2001. When a woman came over to Taylor, she waved her friend to come join the group – who ended up being Blum.
“I was like, ‘Oh my, God. Not a chance!’ So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass. And by the end of the night I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife,’” he told Q Magazine in 2007. “So she gave me her number: ‘Jordyn, your future ex-wife.’”
Blum gave birth to her and Grohl’s first daughter, Violet, in 2006. They welcomed daughters Harper and Ophelia in 2009 and 2014, respectively.
Grohl has performed with their eldest daughter through the years, including at Lollapalooza in 2001. The next year, she sang a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Help Me” at a pre-Grammys bash.
The same year the Foo Fighters won Best Rock Song at the 2022 Grammys for “Waiting on a War,” band member Hawkins died at age 50. Months after Hawkins’ death, Grohl broke down in tears while playing “Times Like These” at the Taylor Hawkins’ Tribute concert.
Grohl seemingly threw shade at Taylor Swift while performing a Foo Fighters show in June 2024. Grohl joked that the band likes to refer to their concerts as “The Errors Tour” — a play on Swift’s Eras Tour — because they’ve “had more than a few eras and more than a few f–king errors as well.” Grohl noted that the band has errors “because [they] actually play live.”
The following night, Swift seemingly responded to the dig during one of her shows. “Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” she said on stage. “And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”
When TMZ asked Grohl about the incident in August 2024, he didn’t answer. “A lot of people online thought your statements on Taylor not playing live weren’t fair. Why do you think she doesn’t sing live?” a TMZ videographer asked while Grohl got into his car.
Grohl shared that he fathered a child outside of his marriage in September 2024. Page Six reported in February 2025 that the Los Angeles woman Grohl had the affair with was named Jennifer Young. Us reached out for comment at the time.
The name of the woman who welcomed a baby with Dave Grohl has reportedly come forward months after news of his cheating scandal.
Page Sixreported on Friday, February 21, that Jennifer Young — a 38-year-old from Los Angeles — welcomed a child with Grohl in August 2024 amid his marriage to wife Jordyn Blum. (Us Weekly has reached to to Grohl’s team for comment.)
Young reportedly asked the publication not to reveal the name of her and Grohl’s child, stating that there are “some really angry fans.” She noted: “Protecting her identity is really important.”

Blake Lively requested a new protective order amid her ongoing legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni. Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, February 21, that Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, submitted a letter to a judge one day prior in order to ask for a protective order that is stronger than the standard one they were granted when the saga began. Shep Rose made it clear he was all-in on girlfriend Sienna Evans on season 10 of Southern Charm — but most of his castmates weren’t as convinced.
Shep had a whirlwind romance with Sienna, who is nearly 20 years younger than him, in 2024. But by November of that year, Shep revealed he was single. The ups and down of his short-lived relationship with Sienna have been front and center on season 10 of the Bravo series, which began airing in December 2024.
During the February 20 episode, fans got a look at just how deep Shep’s feelings were for Sienna when he and his castmates were on a trip to her native Bahamas. Shep, for his part, professed his love for Sienna and sent her a long text about their possible future.
The episode also shined a light on Sienna’s feelings — which appeared to be less strong. “Were we together? Maybe, I don’t know,” Sienna told the girls when asked flat out if she was dating Shep.
She later explained, “We’re so similar in terms of being noncommittal. And it works for both of us.”

Craig told the cameras during the February 13 episode that “you shouldn’t have to force someone into liking you” after seeing Shep get ghosted by Sienna. Once he finally met Sienna in person during day one of their Bahamas trip, Criag was convinced it was a one-sided romance.
“I have never felt someone’s aura like this in my entire life. I feel like I can sense people’s energies right away,” Craig explained. “I know any hope that I had that Sienna was genuine with her feelings with Shep disappeared as soon as she walked in the room.”
During the “Text Message in a Bottle” episode, which aired on February 20, Craig expressed his concerns to the group.
“The tension, you could cut it with a knife,” he claimed before telling the cameras, “I watch enough 90 Day Fiancé to know it just didn’t feel right.”
Looking back at the trip, Craig revealed that he could sense that Sienna would get a stomach ache and need to leave early — which she did on night one.
“Her body language is not … romantic. She’s basically like, ‘Just so you know, I’m going to have a stomach by the end of this dinner,’” he quipped during the Southern Charm: After Show while watching back Sienna’s arrival to dinner with the cast.
“It’s something that I just kind of look at and go, ‘I’m glad that’s not me.’ And I mean that respectfully, but I’m in such a happy place where I go, ‘Everything does happen for a reason, and I’m very happy with the person that I’m with,’” she said, referring to her boyfriend, Gaston Rojas. “And so seeing that I’m just going, I’m just glad it’s not me.”
During a January episode of the show, Taylor grilled Shep over his romance with Sienna and appeared to take her side. However, she later comforted Shep when it became clear that she wasn’t that into him.

During the “Red Flags” episode, Austen got real with Shep, telling him, “You’ve only hung out with her for like six weekends. This is a 26-year-old girl who’s like, ‘I don’t know what the f—k I want.’ And that’s what it’s sounding like to me.”
The following episode, which aired on February 6, Austen was even more wary of Sienna’s intentions. “I think that Sienna told Shep that she loved him so that she could keep him on the hook. That kinda gave her a longer leash to do what she wanted,” he said in a confessional. “Clearly whatever she wants to do is ghosting Shep for days at a time.”
When the group arrived in the Bahamas, Austen continued to be skeptical of Sienna. “I am not doctor love, but you fly to the Bahamas and you call your girlfriend upon landing. You’d be in the airport waiting for that person to arrive!” he told the cameras during the February 13 episode.
While talking to Shep on the February 20 After Show, Austen called BS on Sienna having a “stomach ache” on night one that made her leave their hotel early.
“She was like, ‘I don’t feel well, I have to go home.’ Get the f–k out of here. That is the oldest trick in the book,” Austen quipped. “It was so clear, not to you apparently.”

Madison teased in an exclusive interview with Us that she did “enjoy the ending” to Shep and Sienna’s relationship, confirming it got messy.
“Shep and I have this relationship where at this point, we can kind of just poke fun at each other, even if it’s like me bringing up things I’ve said in the past, and he doesn’t take offense to it because he’s actually kind of the same way,” Madison explained in December 2024. “So I definitely poke him a little bit this season, especially when I see a girl that I don’t know likes him as much as he likes her. So I have fun. He’s meddled in my relationships. So back at ya.”
Madison made her feelings about Sienna clear from the start of the season as well. She described her as “way too pretty for Shep” during Sienna’s Southern Charm debut. Madison claimed during the “Bahama Blues” episode, which aired on February 13, that Sienna was “not that into you, that’s the deal.”
She also told Shep to his face the next episode, “She doesn’t like you. I’m just saying.”

During an interview with Us, Leva broke down Shep’s state of mind to start the season — which was filmed in spring and early summer 2024 — and recalled his thoughts about his possible future with Sienna.
“He’s like, ‘Can you imagine me and my curly haired babies running down the beach? I’ll be Warren Buffet, except for without the guitar,’” Leva exclusively told Us on February 5. “I was like, ‘Wow, you have this planned out.’ I think he was literally thinking he was going to own a hotel in The Bahamas with all his little kids.”
Leva also revealed that she thinks Shep’s breakup with Taylor — which was his longest relationship to date — left him more vulnerable with Sienna.
“I do think he still loves Taylor. I don’t know if he’ll end up with Taylor, but I do think that that was a very special love,” she shared. “And I think he was so excited to have some version of that again, that he got ahead of himself.”
Leva noted that Sienna was pretty transparent about her intentions when the group met her for the first time. “She was like, ‘I’m here for a good time, not a long time.’ I was like, ‘Wow, then you’re perfect for Shep.’ Both just out here having a good time,” the Southern Hospitality star recalled. “And then when he started to talk about how in love was then it was a little bit different.”
Looking back, Leva told Us that Sienna felt like someone who “wanted to be on the show” and was interested in the “idea of Shep” because he’s so “fun.”
“She knows Shep for what she sees, and then all of a sudden Shep’s like, ‘Oh no, I’m into commitment.’ She’s like, ‘Wait, what? This is not the narrative you have sold me thus far as a viewer,’” Leva added. “I think that jarred her too.”

During the “Red Flags” episode, which aired on January 30, Patricia revealed to Madison that her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith, had allegedly been messaged by Sienna on Raya before she connected with Shep. (Sienna claimed via TikTok in February that Whitney messaged her and she had no idea he was friends with Shep until she was visiting Charleston and dating Shep.)
“As far as I’m concerned, it screams ulterior motives to me,” Patricia said. “It sounds like she’s working a lot of angles here. Stalker!”

One episode later, Whitney slammed Shep over his relationship with Sienna and claimed that “she just liked me first” but he allegedly “didn’t respond” to her on Raya.
When Shep confessed during the February 6 episode that he didn’t know where he and Sienna stood, Whitney went off on him. “I’ll tell you exactly where you stand. Shep. Not rich enough. Boring,” Whitney quipped. “Not famous enough. That’s the overriding issue.”

“I thought it was extremely weird that she wanted to come hang out with us without Shep. She wanted to go with us [in the Bahamas],” Rodrigo told Taylor during the February 20 Southern Charm: After Show. “I was like, ‘Listen girl, you kinda were rude to me the first night.’ I was like, ‘I don’t even want to be around you.’ It’s kinda annoying to be quite honest.”
Rodrigo claimed that during their trip, Sienna was “not that nice” to him even though he was one of the only people in the group that had spent time with her in the past.
“Every experience that I had with her was so lovely,” he said, referring to their past hangouts. Rodrigo then claimed, “There was a definite switch that was flipped. She was very standoffish.”

Turkish influencer Gizem Özmen has reportedly died following a car crash. She was 24.
Özmen, best known as Lavinia Özmen on TikTok, died following a traffic collision in Manisa, according to a Monday, February 17, report by CNNTurk. The social media star and another individual, who has not been publicly identified, allegedly died when their car crashed into a tanker parked in the emergency lane.
CNN further reported that law enforcement and first responders had been dispatched to the scene, where Özmen and the vehicle’s driver were both pronounced dead.
Further details have not been revealed and an investigation is ongoing.
Özmen was active on TikTok, amassing 200,000 followers. She last posted on Monday ahead of the CNN report, and the comments have since been flooded with “RIP” messages.
She also had more than 26,000 followers on Instagram, where she often opened up about hardships faced during childhood. Özmen last posted on Instagram on February 9 to share a similar story about a woman named Ela.
In the comments section, many of Özmen’s followers expressed their condolences.
“Rest in peace ,” one translated message reads, while another says, “We have a new story. The name of our story is Lavinia [who] lost her life in a car accident.”
Another social media user felt a specific kinship to Özmen due to similar upbringings.
“I talked to her for a while, we didn’t really know each other, but we became friends on social media,” the fan replied. “I knew her story, our story was almost the same, but now after her death, it is really very painful and very sad that his videos come across us like this. I get emotional whenever I see it. Rest in peace and rest in peace May Allah give patience to her relatives.”
Other social media users called Özmen “a very good person [and] sister.”
“May God rest her soul in peace It took a long time ,” another message reads.
“She was so strong, always talked about fighting. She said that no matter what happens, one must fight on in life,” another Instagram commenter added earlier this week. “Maybe that was the reason I liked her out of all the thousands of influencers. So strong, such a warrior, I can’t believe she’s gone.”

Arroyave, 47, explained his outlook via an Instagram Reel posted on Thursday, February 20, just over a week after Mellencamp’s surgery.
“So I wanted to share with you guys something that has always helped me through tough times and that’s just remembering that happiness is not the absence of problems, it’s the ability to deal with them,” he said. “And as simple as this is going to sound, my No. 1 secret to dealing with problems is just having faith.”
Arroyave presented it as a choice between positive and negative thinking.
“When you really think about faith, faith is just a projection of the most positive thing for the future, versus the opposite, is fear,” he explained. “Fear is the projection of the worst possible thing for the future.”
“So when you think about it, they both haven’t happened yet,” he continued. “It’s up to you if you’re going to choose to be positive or you’re going to choose to be negative. And it takes the same amount of mental energy to focus on failure than it does to focus on success. So I’ve always chosen faith no matter what I feel like, no matter what it looks like, I choose faith.”

Arroyave’s video comes as he and the former couple’s three kids remain by Mellencamp’s side during her recovery. The two married in 2011 before Mellencamp filed for divorce last November. They share kids Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4.(Mellencamp has also been a stepmother to Arroyave’s eldest daughter, Isabella, from a previous relationship.)
“So many people asking for updates. All I will say right now is surgery went well,” he wrote via his Instagram Story on February 13. “That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.”
The surgery, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum explained, was to remove two tumors that doctors believe had been growing for “at least six months,” while the remaining, smaller tumors, would be dealt with via radiation later.
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she wrote via Instagram on February 12, before the surgery. “Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”
QVC program host Courtney Khondabi is officially a mom after welcoming a baby girl through adoption.
“I know so many of you have been wondering what I’ve been up to, and I’m so excited to finally share this news with you,” Khondabi, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, February 21. “We are overjoyed to announce that we are now parents! [My husband] Joey and I have welcomed our beautiful daughter, Camille , into our lives. She came to us through adoption, and our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude.”
In her announcement, Khondabi shared a video of her baby girl wearing a white ensemble as the family dog Finnegan gently touched her with its paw.
“Camille arrived a little early, and we spent nearly a month by her side in the NICU as she grew into the strong, beautiful and mighty baby she is today,” Khondabi continued. “We are beyond thrilled that she is now home and thriving. We are also in awe of the doctors and nurses who cared for her during those early weeks.”
“I couldn’t share it sooner, but I’m so happy to finally do so,” she wrote. “I also want to thank all of you who care about me and my family. I can’t wait to bring you along on this new chapter of motherhood.”
After sharing the news, Khondabi received support from many of her fellow QVC hosts including Shawn Killinger, who adopted a baby girl named Jagger in 2017.
“Ugh girl God’s timing is SO divine (and so is that bitty lil hand),” she wrote in the comments section. “I know exactly how ur heart is feeling right now and I can’t say enough how excited relieved and utterly joyful I am for u both#adoptionrocks.”
Jane Treacy added, “I’m so happy my Grand-bestie is here!!!! You know how much I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Camille chose well!!!.”
In a final message to fans, Khondabi expressed gratitude to her daughter’s birth mom “for the incredible gift of entrusting us with her life.”
“Our love for Camille knows no bounds, and we are cherishing every moment as a family,” she wrote. “Our hearts are so full. I’m taking some time to be with my baby girl, but I’ll see you again on air in April.”
