From Love Island USA’s Vanna Einerson to The Real Housewives of Mormon Wives’Layla Taylor, a number of Utah stars have been candid about getting plastic surgery at young ages.
Take Demi Engemann, for example, who told Page Six in 2024 that “Utah’s known for having very minimal procedures done to where we still look natural.” The Secret Wives of Mormon Lives star noted that it’s common for women in the state to go under the knife “before we were 20 years old.”
Taylor, for her part, has been open about getting cosmetic work done on multiple occasions. She also told Page Six that she’s had a few “minor tweaks” including a tummy tuck, lip filler, chin filler and Botox.
Einerson, who is currently 21, told Nick Viall on his “Viall Files” podcast in July 2025 that she got a breast augmentation and has gotten her lips done.
On Love Island USA, she noted that many girls in Salt Lake City have similar features to her. “There’s a Utah girl stereotype,” she said while chatting with Ace Greene. He then asked what that entailed to which Vanna replied while pointing at her chest, “You’re looking at it! It’s me! All the girls are, like, tan, blonde,” she said.
Keep scrolling to see which stars in Utah have been candid about getting work done:
In June 2025, Engemann opened up about her nose job, which she got in 2019. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has also been open about getting a breast augmentation in 2024. At the time, she joked about her husband not being able to touch her chest for two weeks while she was healing.
Taylor, who stars on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, told Page Six’s “Reali-Tea” podcast that after wrapping season 1 of the show that she had a tummy tuck, lip filler, chin filler and Botox, which she considered “minor tweaks.”
In March 2025, Ngatikaura opened up about getting a nose job to reduce the size of her nostrils via Instagram. “People have been awful about my looks & it definitely affected my confidence,” she explained. “But I also had insecurities before that I wanted to tweak so I took care of them!"
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star also underwent a labiaplasty in season 1 of the show after giving birth to her second baby. “They're cutting it all off, tightening it back up. I'm getting a mommy makeover,” she said in a September 2024 episode.
"A labiaplasty basically takes the inside of your vagina, the material that's a little more sensitive, and tucks it up inside,” Ngatikaura added. "Pregnancy kind of pushes it out and mine decided to stay there. And now after having two kids, even though physically I look back to normal, there are things that will never be the same."
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star got a breast augmentation but decided to remove her implants in 2024 after suffering a chronic illness. In January 2025, she celebrated one year of getting them taken out.
"POV: It's been a year since you decided to remove your implants that sparked the beginning of a two-year battle with chronic illness,” she captioned a number of pictures and videos of her journey, including shots of her skin flaring up.
The Love Island USA season 7 star opened up about the work she had gotten done during a July 2025 episode of “The Viall Files” podcast after she received backlash from fans on her look.
“Most of the things that people thought I got done, like my cheeks and my chin and my lips — lips, duh, I got my lips done,” she said. “I like my lips. But my cheeks and my chin, [I was] born with it.” Einerson added, “Of course I got my boobs done. I’m just a girl.”
“I have everything,” she told Andy Cohen during the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 1 reunion. “I have Botox, filler in my lips, these are natural,” she added while pointing at her chest. Rose also shared that she got a “mommy makeover” on her stomach after losing muscle during her pregnancy.
Shah got real about the work she had done while chatting with Cohen during the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 1 reunion. “I know everybody thinks I’ve done all this stuff to my face,” she said. “I haven't had plastic surgery.” Shah went on to share that she’s had “fillers and Botox and stuff,” and regretted not getting a nose job after her son Omar accidentally broke her nose when he was a baby.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, who is the owner of Beauty Lab + Laser, an infamous medspa in Salt Lake City, told Page Six in OCtober 2022, “I get Botox, filler in my lips. I get Sculptra, which is like a collagen stimulator.” She’s also been open about losing 25 pounds while on Ozempic.
On Wednesday, a 12-person jury convicted Diddy of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, while he was acquitted of the arguably more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. Diddy could face as much as 20 years behind bars for the two transportation convictions.
Hylton, 51, seemingly offered her reaction to the verdict via her Instagram Story, where she shared a quote from author Cory Allen: “Underrated life style: Knowing when to let your silence say everything.”
Diddy and Hylton, a fashion designer, were together in the early 1990s and share son Justin Combs, 31, who was one of the disgraced mogul’s family members celebrating outside a Manhattan federal court following the announcement of Wednesday’s verdict. (Diddy has seven children, in total. He shared son Christian, 27, and twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, 18, with late partner Kim Porter, and he also adopted her son Quincy Brown, 34. He shares daughter Chance, 18, with Sarah Chapman and welcomed his youngest child, daughter Love, 2, with Dana Tran in December 2022.)
Hylton previously offered support for Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) after she filed a lawsuit against the musician in November 2023, accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. Diddy denied Cassie’s claims. One day after the suit was filed, Diddy and Cassie, 38, settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.
At the time, Hylton wrote via Instagram that she was “heartbroken” to see Cassie having to “relive the horror of her abuse” following the release of the surveillance footage.
“My heart goes out to her. I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma,” Hylton wrote in May 2024. “[Diddy’s children] were raised by women that want the best for them — we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams. Two of the youngest do not have their mother here and it has been our duty to support them.”
She concluded by writing, “Their father needs help and I am praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it.
Hylton eventually attended Diddy’s trial in New York City multiple times, where she was initially photographed using a walker due to a leg injury. Following some public backlash, Hylton insisted that she was simply supporting her son Justin at Diddy’s court session.

“God is good all the time! Yes, I’m good everyone I’m on my healing journey,” she wrote in May. “When I suffered my injury I had chosen to heal privately but when my son said ‘Mommy I need you’ I was right there for him, walker and all. I’m a MOTHER FIRST, FOR REAL and I am my son’s strength and thats just what it is. Plain and Simple.”
She continued, “Whoever doesn’t understand that just simply isn’t in alignment with me or anything that I’m about in life. I’m cool with that. I have a purpose filled life that I live daily. I make impact. I’m not concerned with insecure people attempting to project their insecurities on to me. EVER.”
Hylton encouraged anyone angry with her decision not to “let [Instagram] rule your life.”
Eyewitnesses told Us Weekly following Wednesday’s court proceedings that Diddy reached out to greet his family after the verdict was read, but he was prevented from interacting with them. The rapper was said to be in “ecstatic” spirits as he raised his hands in prayer.
Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo has already asked Judge Arun Subramanian to release the hip-hop mogul Wednesday as part of a $1 million bond package that includes travel restrictions to Florida, New York and California, Diddy surrendering his passport and undergoing court-monitored drug testing. Agnifilo promised that Diddy would return home to Miami and follow every court guideline if bail is imposed.
“He treasures, I assure you, the opportunity that he has been given, and he will not run afoul of anything this court imposes on him,” Agnifilo promised the judge.

Both Cassie’s attorney Douglas Wigdor and prosecutors opposed Diddy being released on bail prior to his sentencing.
“Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Combs is likely to pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case, including herself, as well as to the community,” Wigdor wrote in a letter to the judge.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s defense team argued that he should be let out on bail because he “obeyed the Court, respected these proceedings and demonstrated model behavior” during his imprisonment at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center following his arrest in September 2024. (Four previous requests were denied by Subramanian.)
“The jury unambiguously rejected the government’s allegations that Mr. Combs ran a years-long criminal enterprise or engaged in sex trafficking — the core of the government’s case,” Diddy’s lawyers argued. “Mr. Combs stands convicted of two Mann Act counts, and his sentencing exposure is substantially lower than when the government initially sought detention.”
Diddy was originally arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all of the allegations against him.
A federal trial started on May 5 and was largely based around testimony from Cassie and an unnamed Jane Doe accuser. Following two days of deliberation, the jury informed Judge Subramanian on Tuesday, July 1, that they’d reached a verdict on four out of the five counts but were deadlocked on the racketeering conspiracy charge.
The judge instructed the jury to continue deliberating before they ultimately returned a verdict on Wednesday morning. Judge Subramanian thanked the 12 members of the jury prior to dismissing them from the courtroom.
“I want you to know that it is inspiring to all of us,” Judge Subramanian told the jury. “You listened, you worked together, you were here every day, rain or shine. You did so with no reward, other than the reward that comes from answering the call of public service. That should give all of us hope.”

Lindsay Arnold and husband Sam Cusick’s relationship dynamic has grown from high school sweethearts to mom and dad.
Arnold and Cusick got engaged while on vacation in Africa in December 2014. The following year, the couple tied the knot in Provo, Utah.
“I’ve loved Sam since I was 16 years old and today I officially get to spend the rest of my life with him — through giggles and tears, and every moment in between!” the Dancing With the Stars alum told Us Weekly in a statement on her wedding day in June 2015.
Since exchanging vows, Arnold and Cusick have expanded their family with daughters Sage and June, whom they welcomed in November 2020 and May 2023. As they’ve embraced their roles as parents, their relationship has gotten stronger over the years.
Keep scrolling for everything Arnold has said about her marriage over the years:
Being Best Friends
Arnold opened up about how companionship was the foundation of her and Cusick’s relationship.
“I truly think that is the key to a happy and successful marriage … on top of everything else your spouse should be your best friend,” she wrote via Instagram in January 2021. “I am so grateful for our friendship these past couple months with a newborn. It has helped us laugh off the tired cranky moments (from me) hahaha and have patience with each other while going through the (sometimes hard) firsts that come with being new parents. And it has brought us the most incredible joy being able to experience the special gift of parenthood together. This guy is my official bestie and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Being Their Authentic Selves

Arnold opened up about how she and Cusick have brought out the best in each other.
“Since day one Sam has always been my best friend and I truly believe that is what has gotten us through the challenges and ups and downs of marriage,” she captioned a June 2022 Instagram post. “Through everything he has been the person I feel most comfortable being my true self around and the one who loves me at my best and at my worst. Grateful for our love and for the life we have created together .”
Her ‘Best Decision’
While celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary in June 2023, Arnold expressed her support for having Cusick by her side.
“8 years with the love of my life and my best friend beyond grateful for this guy he is the best husband and dad and I am very excited we get to celebrate him today for Father’s Day too,” she captioned a snap of them. “The best decision I ever made was marrying this man and watching him as a father has made me fall in love with him over and over again .”
Cherishing All the Moments

In honor of Cusick’s 29th birthday, Arnold reflected on how she and her husband have grown since their teen years.
“Sam and I started ‘officially’ dating maybe two weeks before his 16th bday and I remember being so nervous about getting him a present like maybe it was too soon lol so I ended up dropping it off on his porch knocking on the door and running away cause I was so awkward ,” she wrote alongside an April 2023 Instagram Reel. “Here we are 14 birthdays later and I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for every single year I get with this man. We have experienced so much together and I wouldn’t want to be doing life with anyone other than him.”
Arnold gushed that Cusick “is the best husband and most incredible dad.”
“I really could not have dreamed I would get so lucky!” she continued. “I could go on and on and on about all the things I love about our guy he is everything and more and I’m so grateful for the life we have together, happy birthday baby .”
Shutting Down Haters
Arnold sparked backlash online in June 2025 after she posted a TikTok video showing how Cusick made their bed, which included pillows on the floor and untidy bedding. While some fans appreciated Arnold’s humor, others did not. One fan replied, “Your husband should file for a divorce because of this video.”
“Good news Sam still loves me my recent post ruffled some serious feathers in the comments haha but happy to report that it’s possible to joke around and still love/appreciate each other ,” she captioned the clip.
Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar) paid tribute to her stillborn daughter, Annabell Elise Forsyth, on what would have been her 6th birthday.
Joy-Anna, 27, took to Instagram to share photos from Annabell’s birth on Tuesday, July 1. The carousel included black-and-white snaps of the late infant’s feet and tiny footprints, as well as a photo of Joy-Anna holding Annabell alongside her husband, Austin Forsyth. In other photos, the couple was surrounded by their family as they mourned Annabell’s death.
Joy-Anna also included a mirror selfie where she showed off her baby bump, a video of her ultrasound scan and a photo of herself and Austin, 31, sharing a hug in the woods as they held a box with Annabell’s remains.
One slide featured a yellow rose and read, “Annabell Elise Forsyth, July 1, 2019, 2:39 p.m., 4.8 ounces, 7 inches long.”
In the caption of her post, Joy-Anna wrote, “Happy heavenly 6th birthday Annabell Elise Forsyth .”
Joy-Anna also shared many of the same photos on her Instagram Story.
Posting the photo of the yellow rose, she recalled that the hospital hung the flower on their door after Annabell was delivered.
“Her features were perfect … her little hands, fingernails, lips, tongue, ears, arms & legs,” Joy-Anna wrote alongside the photo of Annabell’s feet.
The Counting On alum also reposted the photo of herself and Austin in the woods and wrote, “This moment was so difficult. Burying her felt like we had to move on without her. I just wanted to hold my baby, but I had to let her go. I just held her wooden box tightly and bawled.”
Joy-Anna Duggar/Instagram
Joy-Anna continued, “We were able to bury her in a special place on my in-laws’ farm.”
Joy-Anna and Austin announced in May 2019 that they were expecting what would have been their second child. However, the following month, the couple learned at their 20-week scan that Joy-Anna had suffered a miscarriage.
“Today marks one week since we heard these words,” the former TLC personality wrote on Instagram at the time. “’So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement.’ We had gone in for our 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal. It was a baby girl.”
She continued, “Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord. In the words of King David after the loss of his baby, ‘I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me’ (2 Sam 12:23). We don’t grieve as those who have no hope because we trust that we will see this little one again.”
Joy-Anna also shared why they chose to name their late daughter Annabell Elise, writing, “Annabell means ‘God has favored me,’ and Elise means ‘God satisfies.’ What a precious thing to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”
Joy-Anna and Austin are also parents to son Gideon, whom they welcomed in February 2018, daughter Evelyn, whom they welcomed in August 2020, and son Gunner, whom they welcomed in May 2023.
“Look, I don’t want to answer that question definitively, but I don’t think he is,” Howerton, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly at the PaleyLive: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia 20th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, July 1. “In my mind he’s not. In my mind he’s just delusional.”
The actor explained, “[He’s] so afraid of not being in control that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to be in control of any situation more than that he’s an actual serial killer.”
Howerton has been playing Dennis since the show’s premiere in 2005 and throughout its 16 seasons, he’s raised several red flags with his actions.
Fans, therefore, have theorized that Dennis is a secret serial killer for saying things like, “We’re going to follow our victim then we’re going to jump her. Then I’m going to strangle her and you’re going to chop her into pieces” while getting into the mind of a killer during season 3’s “Mac Is a Serial Killer.”
Patrick McElhenney/FX Networks/Everett Collection
During season 7’s “The High School Reunion Part 2: The Gang’s Revenge,” Dennis confessed that he randomly keeps “duct tape, zip ties and gloves” in his truck, raising eyebrows.
The following season, Dennis assumed the identity of Brian LeFevre after the gang finds his wallet at Paddy’s Pub. It is later revealed that LeFevre was murdered in the alley, and Dennis could have done it. (Dennis isn’t convicted and the murderer remains unknown.)
Patrick McElhenney/FX Networks/Everett Collection
Dennis being an undercover serial killer is one of the longest-running jokes and theories surrounding the comedy show, continuing even to this day. During season 11, Dennis makes a clay sculpture he describes as “a woman’s head in a freezer, and it’s supposed to represent the preservation of love forever and ever.”
During season 12, Dennis is the prime suspect when a cat woman named Maureen Ponderosa is found dead in an alley. “Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer” is filmed a la true crime style and feeds into viewers’ long-held belief that he has what it takes to kill.
While Howerton played down Dennis’ suspicious activity and how it could point to serial killer tendencies on Tuesday, he was more open about some of his favorite moments from the show over the past two decades.
Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty
He told Us at the Los Angeles event that his “favorite” rant by Dennis is from season 5 when the crew is going up against college kids.
“I go back to my alma mater and try to join in with my old fraternity, and then I come back, and I rant and I’m screaming, ‘Savages idiots,’” Howerton recalled. “That was the first time we ever really had my character go that far with the ranting. And I remember it was Charlie [Day] that pushed me to really just go absolutely nuts. And I did, and it really struck us as very, very funny. So, I have a particular fondness for that particular rant.”
Howerton also pointed to “Frank Reynolds’ Little Beauties” from season 7 as his “favorite” episode to date. “That episode just cracks me up. It just cracks me up,” he said. “It just makes me laugh.”
Season 17 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia premieres with a two-episode special on FXX Wednesday, July 9, at 9 p.m. ET. Episodes available for streaming next day on Hulu.
The $60 million mansion that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez bought in 2023 is now off the market, one year after the former couple first listed their marital home. Realtor.com was first to report the news.
Us Weekly can confirm that the pair’s listing expired on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The former couple can still relist the estate with another agent and it does not mean that the home is no longer for sale. It is also possible that they found a buyer off-market.
Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, put the mansion on the market in 2024, shortly before news broke that they had split. They finalized their divorce in January 2025 after two years of marriage and planned to split any profits from the sale of the house. Realtor.com reports they spent “millions” renovating the Beverly Hills estate.
The actor and singer initially asked for $68 million for the 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom home before slashing the price by $8 million in May. The 38,000-square-foot property boasts a tennis court, boxing ring and athletics facility (including basketball and pickleball courts), and a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse. It also has a separate caretaker’s residence, lounge, bar, pool and a 12-car garage that can fit parking for up to 80 guests.
“Jennifer thinks they can get more money for the home, so she wants to keep the price as is,” a source exclusively told Us. “But the real estate market is not there, and it’s not selling.”
Property records show that in March, Lopez purchased a home of her own in Los Angeles for $18 million. She told Access Hollywood in May that now that she’s single, she’s not necessarily looking for love.
“I [told Tiffany Haddish], ‘Girl, I’m not looking for no man,’” she said. “I’m happy right now. I’m not trying to ruin it, OK?”
Affleck and Lopez were originally engaged from 2002 to 2004 before splitting, then reuniting in 2021. They tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2022 and celebrated with family the following month in a ceremony in Georgia.
As Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s It Ends With Us legal battle continues, their respective camps have sent subpoenas to several famous faces.
Lively named Baldoni, her costar and director on 2024’s It Ends With Us, in a lawsuit later that year. The Gossip Girl alum accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, fostering a hostile work environment and trying to destroy her reputation. Baldoni vehemently denied the accusations before filing a $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively, as well as her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist, Lesley Sloane.
Lively, Reynolds and Sloane each rebuffed Baldoni’s claims and filed motions to dismiss. Us Weekly confirmed in June 2025 that a judge ruled to dismiss his suit. Baldoni later declined to submit an amended motion, instead planning to focus on defending himself from Lively’s claims.
Amid trial prep, both Lively and Baldwin’s legal teams have sent out subpoenas seeking evidence of the accusations. Keep scrolling to see which stars have been subpoenaed so far:
Taylor Swift

Baldoni sent a subpoena to Swift, Lively’s one-time close friend, in May 2025 amid claims that she helped the actress take over It Ends With Us production.
“Taylor has always been Blake’s friend, but Taylor doesn’t have any involvement in the case. She wasn’t part of the movie,” a source close to Swift told Us in February 2025. “Taylor was not a producer on the film and had no creative involvement.”
The summons was later dropped after information was “voluntarily provided” to Baldoni’s team.
“[Taylor is] not talking about the case,” a second insider told Us in May 2025, adding that the pop star is “feeling an immense sense of relief.”
“It’s been a stressful few weeks for her and she seems happier and lighter since the subpoena was dropped,” the second source added. “Taylor has handled it with a lot of grace and is not solely focused on it. She’s moved on.”
Us broke the news that month that Swift and Lively’s friendship stalled as a result of the legal battle.

A source confirmed to Us in June 2025 that Lively sent a subpoena to the music manager and his HYBE America company to identify any information about the work crisis PR veteran Melissa Nathan allegedly did for Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios. (Nathan was employed by Baldoni’s team for a month.)
Candace Owens
Joe Raedle/Getty Images
TMZ reported in July 2025 that Owens received a subpoena from Lively’s team about any alleged communications with Baldoni.
“I haven’t received anything,” Owens claimed on her eponymous podcast that same week. “As of right now, I still cannot tell you anything [about the documents] because no process server has arrived at our door. … How could us covering the lawsuit that has already been filed [mean we’re involved]? We have nothing to do with your lawsuit. It’s our right to cover pop culture [and] whatever it is that we want as reporters.”
According to Owens, she has only mentioned Lively twice by name in her text messages — once to praise her “flawless” pink diamond ring and another about plans to briefly discuss the lawsuit on a 2024 podcast episode.

TMZ also claimed in July 2025 that the gossip blogger was subpoenaed by Lively’s legal representatives.
“I take this very seriously,” Hilton said in a social media video. “I have not been served a subpoena yet, but I will comply with the law, and I have nothing to hide.”

The film producer was allegedly sent a summons by Lively’s team in July 2025.
“My client has not been served with any legal process at this time. He runs a news outlet and is in the midst of creating an independent documentary IT ENDS WITH JUSTICE that has spoken to many involved in the case,” his attorney Nathaniel Broughty told Us in a statement. “Should service occur, we intend to vigorously defend against any claims and will protect the confidentiality of sources on BOTH SIDES — consistent with the principles of press freedom and journalistic integrity.”
Badgley kicked off the chatter on Monday, June 30, by praising Fahy’s performance in her Netflix series, Sirens.
“So I don’t usually do this, but my wife [Domino Kirke] and I just finished Sirens. OK Sirens, want to give her her flowers,” he said in an Instagram Reel. “Now obviously there’s Julianne, there’s Kevin, there’s Milly, but this Meghann Fahy. This newcomer, this refreshing gawky beauty, love it, love you.”
Badgley was seemingly joking about Fahy being a “newcomer,” since they previously worked together on Gossip Girl, and she’s become a household name after starring on The White Lotus season 2. However, Fahy took to the comments section and played along with Badgley’s bit.
“Penn! This is so kind. Thank you,” she replied. “Tell Domino I say hi. And that her taste is flawless.”
That comment sparked a chain reaction as it turned into a full-on conversation between the pair. Fahy called out Badgley for calling her “gawky,” then teased him about his Netflix show, You.
“There you go again with that trapping thing,” she quipped. “Heard you did a lot of that on your show. I never watched it.”
Many fans speculated Fahy could be an upcoming guest on Badgley’s “Podcrushed” podcast. However, one day later, news broke that Fahy and Badgley would be starring in the film adaptation of Sarah Hogle’s You Deserve Each Other.
The romance novel tells the story of Naomi and Nick, who are engaged and fall out of love ahead of their wedding day. While neither one wants to call off the ceremony, the couple turns to hijinks and pranks to make the other one fold.
While Badgley and Fahy haven’t spoken out about You Deserve Each Other, their banter is seemingly them getting into their respective characters for the upcoming project.
Keep scrolling for a full breakdown on Badgley and Fahy’s trolling moments:
Bantering in the Instagram Comments
After Fahy interacted with Badgley’s video, the twosome went back and forth on the post’s comments section. Fahy kicked it off by saying hello to Kirke and complimenting her taste in television series. Badgley corrected her, saying it was “our taste.”
“Oops haha,” Fahy responded before questioning his description of her. “Gawky tho .”
Badgley explained he “meant it as a compliment.”
“Long arms are so gorgeous but historically less featured,” he said.
Fahy recommended that he “chill on the body stuff.”
“Whoa I’ve obviously been very supportive and complimentary but this feels like a trap,” he replied.
Fahy then pointed out he was acting like his character, Joe Goldberg, from You, from what she’s heard, despite not seeing the show herself.
“There you go again with that trapping thing,” she said.
‘Gossip Girl’ Call Back
One day after their conversation on Badgley’s post, the actor shared a new video making fun of him and Fahy previously working together on Gossip Girl. (Fahy appeared in one episode as the character Devyn.)
“Butterfly effect is crazy because if I’d never met Meghann Fahy on the set of Gossip Girl my life would be exactly the same,” he wrote alongside the clip poking fun at the trend set to Lorde’s song “Ribs.”
Fahy’s Response
Shortly after Badgley uploaded his video, Fahy took to Instagram to share a message for him.
“Penn Badgley is a 10 if you’re looking for a Temu Pedro Pascal,” she said while mispronouncing his last name.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kelli Ferrell was sued by a debt collector over an alleged five-figure bill, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
According to court documents filed on May 5, obtained by Us, Navy Federal Credit Union filed a complaint against Kelli.
The suit alleges that Kelli owes a total of $26,434.86. The credit union said they demanded payment but Ferrell “has failed, neglected and refused to make payment upon the account.”
The suit demanded the entire unpaid balance plus attorney fees.
Kelli’s rep tells Us, “Kelli has not been served with any paperwork from Navy Federal Credit Union, which is an account that was shared with her now ex-husband [Chuvalo Mark Ferrell]. Due to her ex-husband currently being in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings, we cannot comment on this matter.”

In response to Kellie’s statement, Chuvalo’s rep tells Us, “[Chuvalo] was removed from all joint and business accounts — including those with Navy Federal Credit Union and Truist Bank — during the divorce proceedings in 2022. He has no knowledge of any loans or transactions initiated by [Kelli] after his removal from those accounts.”
They added, “The current legal dispute between Navy Federal Credit Union and Ms. Kelli A. Ferrell is strictly between those two parties. [Chuvalo] is not named in the lawsuit and has had no involvement in the matter.”
“We find it deeply troubling that [Chuvalo’s] name continues to be invoked in matters to which he has no connection. This pattern of blame-shifting — three years post-separation and divorce — appears designed to divert public scrutiny from Ms. Ferrell’s financial difficulties,” the rep ended.
Back in April, Kelli was hit with a separate lawsuit over an alleged six-figure debt owed to the landlord for her restaurant, Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles.
The landlord for the commercial property located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, claimed Ferrell signed a lease in January 2024, which is set to expire in 2029.
In the legal documents, the landlord accused the reality star and her company of breaching the lease. The suit claimed Kelli had failed to obtain required permits and not pay all rent due.
The landlord said Kelli was put on notice of her default multiple times from August 2024 to March 2025. The suit demanded $101,000 in unpaid rent and other fees.
The landlord also asked the court to award another $13,000 in future rent owed and attorney fees.
Kelli’s rep disputed the claims in a statement to In Touch.
The rep said, “This is in regard to her second [restaurant] location, which is underway. Although Kelli’s divorce has been finalized, there is still a lot of gray area left, especially with finances.”
Ferrell claimed that she had yet to be paid money owed in the divorce judgment.

At the time, the rep said the issues with the divorce, along with $160k Kelli had to pay to her divorce attorney, left her in a “small financial stomp with opening the new location.”
“However, this situation is currently being sorted out with the landlords of the new location and Nana’s in Sandy Springs will be open by this Summer,” the rep said. “Kelli has been a successful entrepreneur for over eight years, but this divorce is extremely contentious and has caused issues.”
Kelli’s rep tells Us the lawsuit over the alleged unpaid rent was resolved. “That has been settled and Nana’s Chicken & Waffles in Sandy Springs is slated to open next month,” the rep said.
Kelli and her ex-husband have been in and out of court since she filed for divorce in 2022.
Kelli, who wed her ex in 2011, demanded sole custody of their three children. Chuvalo opposed the request and asked the court to award him joint custody.
In the end, Kelli, who joined RHOA in season 16, walked away with primary custody. Her ex was ordered to pay $3,991 per month in child support. The exes were instructed to split the proceeds of the sale of their former home. Kelli kept $175,000, while Chuvalo was paid $90,000.
Back in February, Chuvalo filed a petition to reduce his monthly support payments. He said the support was based on his previous monthly income of $19,847. In his petition, he said there had been a substantial change in his income.
His lawyer noted, “[Chuvalo] is no longer working for the family business that was granted to [Kelli] and his income has been substantially reduced.”
The case was dismissed by Chavlo before Kelli had the chance to respond.
Scott Wolf had a run-in with police for driving nearly double the speed limit months before his bitter divorce erupted, Us Weekly has learned.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Scott, 57, was pulled over by a Utah Highway Patrol officer at 7:24 p.m. on May 11.
The former Party of Five star was driving a 2019 white Audi Q7, according to the citation, which listed Scott’s speed as 128 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone. The officer noted he was driving 63 miles over the limit.
The report noted Scott did not cause an accident. The Daily Mail, who broke the news, reported that Scott told the officer that he was speeding because “he was in a hurry because his child needed to use the bathroom.”
On May 28, a hearing was held in San Juan County, Utah. Scott was not present but entered a plea of guilty to the Class B misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.

He was sentenced to five days in jail, but the sentence was suspended if Scott paid a fine of $690.
The court placed Scott on probation for six months. The actor paid off the fine and the case was closed a short time later.
As Us previously reported, Scott’s drama with his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, became public last month when he announced he filed for divorce. They share kids: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11
Scott announced the separation on June 10, a day after he filed for divorce.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” Scott said in a statement. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
Kelley, 48, has been outspoken on social media since the breakup. Last month, she was detained by officers while on Instagram Live. The former Real World star was taken to a local hospital and released a short time later.
As Us first reported, Scott filed for a restraining order last week.

The court order said Kelley had “engaged in an escalating pattern of behavior that poses a substantial threat of immediate and irreparable harm to the parties’ minor children.”
The order noted that Kelley allegedly tried to remove the kids she shares with Scott from the country. The judge also said he considered Kelley’s behavior that led to her being detained by law enforcement and placed on an involuntary psychiatric commitment.
The court awarded Scott temporary sole physical and legal custody of their three children. The judge said that Kelley would not have any contact with Scott or their kids until a future court hearing.
The actor was also awarded exclusive use of their Utah home. On social media, Kelley said she has been staying with family and friends.
Kelley responded to the restraining order last week. The documents are sealed.
As Us first reported, the police were called out to Scott and Kelley’s home the same day Kelley was detained by officers. They received a call from a distressed female who wanted her brother-in-law out of the home.
During their investigation, an unidentified male told them about an alleged assault that took place in March. He claimed an unidentified woman choked him in a bedroom. The officers left without making any arrests. The alleged victim was contacted days later but declined to press charges.
Scott has yet to speak out since taking out a restraining order. A hearing has been set for later this month where the judge will hear from both sides.
Eva LaRue has nothing but gratitude for her experience on General Hospital — from beginning to end.
“To be honest, the way I went out, while surprising, was actually like an actor’s greatest gift because they gave me these scenes to leave by that were so juicy and delicious,” LaRue, 58, shared with Soap Opera Digest in an interview published Tuesday, July 1. “If they had just had me go off into the sunset and get on a plane and join Blaze, it would have kind of all been for naught. … It would have been a boring exit!”
On the Monday, June 30, episode of General Hospital, LaRue’s character, Natalia Ramirez, overdosed on a mixture of pills and booze. On Tuesday’s episode, she was declared dead.
“I’ve never been killed before,” LaRue explained of her character’s untimely death. “This is my first time to die!”
While the actress previously thought her character was going to go off and meet up with her rock star daughter Blaze, she said the writers chose a more juicy route.
What came next was a storyline that left LaRue feeling “really grateful.”
“Natalia just goes into a full-on life spiral — a full-on, huge, juicy arc of a life spiral over the course of a couple of days,” she said. “As an actor, I was just like, ‘Oh, my God, these are delicious!’ In your lifetime, whether you’re doing daytime or nighttime [TV], rarely as an actor do you get those kinds of scenes.”

Before joining General Hospital, LaRue experienced some epic storylines when she played Maria Santos on All My Children.
While her run on General Hospital was originally supposed to last a couple of months, it kept getting extended — ultimately lasting over a year.
“It’s been really fun, and all my friends are there from All My Children,” LaRue exclusively told Us Weekly in May at Nancy Davis’ Race to Erase MS Gala. “I love every second of it. I love [executive producer] Frank Valentini at the helm. It’s just been fun to be part of such an iconic show.”
Although it’s always sad to leave a soap opera or positive gig in the industry, LaRue will forever look fondly on her final scenes.
“It was heavy, and I was so nervous days before because I thought, ‘I really want to do this justice,’” she told Soap Opera Digest. “I was really happy that they gave me those departing scenes. That was awesome.”
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Stream old episodes anytime on Hulu.

Alba’s former pad closed on June 27 for $18,200,200 — nearly doubling what she and Warren, 46, initially paid for the property.
Alba, 44, and Warren, who bought the home in 2017 for $9,948,000, listed it in April amid their separation.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote in a statement shared in January. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
She continued, “We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
Alba and Warren share daughters Honor, 17, and Haven, 13, as well as son Hayes, 7. Since the split, Alba has also started dipping her toe back into the dating scene.
“[Jessica has] gone on dates, but she isn’t seeing anyone specific right now,” a source exclusively told Us in May. “She’s having a lot of fun going out with her girlfriends and being more spontaneous. She’s embracing all the attention she’s getting.”
The insider further told Us that Alba was in the midst of house-hunting.
“She’s looking for a new house so she and the kids can have a fresh start,” the source added. “She wants a new space to make new memories.”
The Honest Company founder, who stepped back from her role as Chief Creative Officer in 2024, is also making memories with her kids. She recently traveled to Italy with Honor, where they attended Jeff Bezos’ wedding. Days later, they jetted to England to catch the West End opening of Evita and a Wimbledon match.
“Had a blast @wimbledon with my sweet girl — thank you @evianwater ,” Alba wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, July 1. “And congratulations to @katiecboulter @paulabadosa and @carlitosalcarazz @fabiofogna — fantastic day of tennis at #Wimbledon .”
Alba has also made sure to amicably coparent her kids with Warren, even celebrating him on Father’s Day.
“Our babies couldn’t have a better dad — warm, kind, present, always knowing what to say,” she wrote via Instagram Stories last month. “I admire your patience and the way you hold space for them, making them feel safe and light after every conversation. Thank you for being their rock.”
Hailey Bieber showed off her toned figure while teasing a new Rhode product.
Bieber, 28, took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 1, to show off her tight figure while giving fans a glimpse of her upcoming Lemontini Peptide Lip Tint, which is set to launch on July 14. In the snap, Bieber slayed in a white tank top featuring a scoop neck, a loosely fitted body and spaghetti straps. Bieber teamed the crop top with low-waisted black bottoms, which she tugged down even farther with her fingers.
For glam, Bieber donned soft makeup including dewy foundation, blushed cheeks and lined glossy lips, thanks to her Lemontini gloss. She tied her ensemble together with her brunette hair parted down the middle and worn down and straightened.
Bieber snapped the pic with her phone which was in a neon yellow case holding her Lemontini tint.
The Rhode founder officially announced the launch of her limited-edition lip tint — which features a new formula — via Instagram on Wednesday, July 2.
Bieber brought sexy summer vibes to her photo shoot while rocking a black bikini. The set had a sleek triangle top that tied into a halter top and matching bottoms with bows at her hips. The model slipped her Lemontini lip tint in the center of her bikini top and accessorized with black-and-gold statement earrings, as well as dark shades. Bieber let her hair glow in the wind as she threw her hands up and danced around.

“I think this is probably the best verdict he could have hoped for,” Judge Rachel Juarez said via an Instagram video on Wednesday, July 2, shortly after the verdict was announced. “I think this is the ideal situation for him because transportation for the purposes of prostitution was almost a given.”
Juarez and costar Judge Yodit Tewolde pointed out that the transportation charges carry a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison each. The prosecution asked that both sentences be carried out consecutively, but this will ultimately be up to the judge presiding over the case.
“This is probably the best outcome he could have gotten because he will be able — I think he’s young enough to still see more life after a prison term,” Tewolde said. “So, I don’t think he’s looking at the rest of his life after this verdict.”
After the verdict was reached, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo asked the court to release the rapper on bail to his Miami home until his sentencing hearing, which has yet to be scheduled. Meanwhile, the prosecution asked that Diddy, 55, remain behind bars. A bail hearing is set for 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
While some who are following the case have pointed out that Diddy’s defense may make an argument for time served, meaning that his time spent in custody already would count toward his sentence, Juarez and Tewolde said they don’t believe this will happen or will make a difference.
“I think he’s been in for a year and a half. We’re talking about a charge that carries a maximum of 10 years, that it’s not going to be time served,” Tewolde said.
Rachel Juarez and Yodit TewoldeCourtesy of Yodit Tewolde/Instagram
“And then they’re going to look at aggravating factors, mitigating factors, and I think there are going to be a host of aggravating sentencing factors,” Juarez added. “So I think we’re not looking at the low end, we’re looking at the high end [of sentencing].”
Diddy was arrested in New York in September 2024. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and maintained his innocence throughout the trial, which largely focused on the alleged “freak offs” orchestrated by the rapper. His ex-girlfriend Cassie, who filed an abuse and sexual assault lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, served as a key witness in the trial, as did an unnamed Jane Doe.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson argued that Cassie “tried the first freak off because she loved the defendant and wanted to make him happy,” while Jane Doe participated because she believed the freak off was a “one-time wild night.”
Diddy’s attorney Teny Geragos stated in response, “Every witness in this case had free choice to make the choices they made.”
Cassie’s lawyer Douglas H. Wigdor reacted to Wednesday’s verdict in a statement to Us Weekly.
“This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023. Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” Wigdor said.
The statement continued, “By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial. She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion. This case proved that change is long overdue, and we will continue to fight on behalf of survivors.”

Ann-Margret stepped out for a rare red carpet and TV appearance looking beautiful as ever.
The actress, 84, attended Project Angel Food’s Lead With Love fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 28. She posed for photos in a black long-sleeve top, black pants and black boots and sported a silver cross necklace paired with her fiery red hair.
Once inside the telethon event, Ann-Margret took the stage with Eric McCormack, which was broadcast on KTLA 5. McCormack, 62, gushed about getting to share the stage with the entertainer, whom he praised for her “’60s dance moves that captivated the world.”
“You changed how a generation hit the dance floor,” he continued. “Where do those incredible moves come from? Does everyone in Sweden dance like that?”
KTLA also posted a clip via Instagram from the night of the event that showed Ann-Margret receiving a round of applause as she made her way through the audience.
“I have a lot of male friends that are very, very jealous of me tonight because I get to stand here with you,” McCormack said.
The Will & Grace alum also called Ann-Margret “the female Elvis,” a comment that made her smile.
Ann-Margret reflected on her friendship with Elvis Presley numerous times in the past after they worked together on 1964’s Viva Las Vegas. (Presley died at age 42 in 1977.)
“Being with E.P., we laughed so hard! He teased the heck out of me, but I teased him right back! He wasn’t going to get away with that,” she recalled of working with the singer on the film in a March 2024 interview with Closer Weekly.

While the pair had a great relationship, there are still some aspects of her bond with Presley that she still chooses to keep close to her chest.
“Everyone knows how I felt about him and the friendship that we had all these years. It was very, very private,” Ann-Margret told Closer in May 2023.
Ann-Margret’s recent public appearance came after she reminisced about her Hollywood career via Instagram.
“Looking back at some cherished memories. What a ride it’s been!” she captioned a throwback photo of herself sitting on a motorcycle on June 18.
“OH MY GOSH ANN!! What a gorgeous picture! Was that your motorcycle?,” one person wrote in a comment, while a second person said, “Gorgeous Anne! You had it all and still do sweet lady..”
Ann-Margret has long had a love for riding motorcycles. Last year, she revealed that she still frequently took her Harley-Davidson bike out for rides.
“It’s lavender, and it’s got white daisies all over it. There [are] flowers on the back fender and the front fender. … I love speed. Not the drug,” she told Fox News in February 2024.
Influencer Juliana Marins’ family is unveiling her heartbreaking final texts before she fell off a volcano and died.
In text messages shown on Fantastico and reported by The Mirror, Marins, 26, wrote: “Mami, I love you so much. I was heartbroken when we said goodbye. In fact, that’s the only thing that worries me: letting you, papi or my sister be disappointed. Other than that, I’m not afraid of much, much less trouble.”
Marins continued: “I was raised by a woman who can solve any problem and who is not afraid to take the plunge and go after her dreams. I am like that too. I have different desires and dreams. I love you all very much! And I will always be grateful for all the support, care and affection. That is what makes me fearless.”
News broke in June that Marins was climbing Mount Rinjani in Indonesia when she fell. It took days before rescue workers could reach her.
“The Brazilian government informs, with deep sadness, the death of the Brazilian tourist Juliana Marins, who had fallen from a cliff surrounding the trail near the crater of Mount Rinjani,” the Brazilian foreign ministry said in a statement translated by CBS News.
The statement continued, “At the end of four days of work, hindered by adverse weather, terrain and visibility conditions in the region, teams from the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency found the body of the Brazilian tourist.”
Marins was found unresponsive, Indonesia national search and rescue agency head Mohammad Syafii told the outlet. Her death was also confirmed by an Instagram account created to focus on the search and rescue efforts of Marins.
“Today, the rescue team managed to reach the place where Juliana Marins was. With great sadness, we inform you that she did not survive,” the post read. “We remain very grateful for all the prayers, messages of affection and support that we have received.”
Before Marins was found, authorities were planning to send rescuers via helicopter — a move Muhamad Hariyadi, the chief of the search and rescue office in the city of Mataram, called “very risky.”
When members of Marins’ family claimed that the Indonesian government faked a video of her rescue and had not been giving her food and water, Hariyadi denied the allegation and instead claimed that the rescue efforts had been thwarted by the terrain and fog.
Videos shared by the search and rescue team alleged that they believed they saw a flashlight and pole of Marins but were not sure because of visibility. Mount Rinjani National Park’s Instagram account claimed that the rescue helicopter couldn’t operate to the top of the mountain because of the weather. Indonesia’s Brazilian Embassy alleged to have been in touch with local authorities about Marins.
After a verdict was reached in the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial, prosecutors and defense attorneys each stated their case for whether he should remain behind bars until sentencing.
Both sides submitted letters to the judge on Wednesday, July 2, shortly after Diddy, 55, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and not guilty on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.
Diddy’s attorneys asked for the rapper to be released following the verdict in a letter reviewed by Us Weekly.
“Since his arrest and detention on September 17, 2024, Mr. Combs has obeyed the Court, respected these proceedings and demonstrated model behavior at the MDC,” the letter read. “And today, the jury unambiguously rejected the government’s allegations that Mr. Combs ran a years-long criminal enterprise or engaged in sex trafficking — the core of the government’s case. Mr. Combs stands convicted of two Mann Act counts, and his sentencing exposure is substantially lower than when the government initially sought detention.”
Diddy’s legal team proposed a “bail package” that included a $1 million bond, travel restrictions to Florida, New York and California, the surrender of Diddy’s passport and undergoing drug testing.
The prosecution, meanwhile, argued that Diddy is “not entitled to release and his detention must be continued” pending sentencing. “The offenses of conviction constitute crimes of violence and mandate detention following the defendant’s conviction,” the government argued. “Here, the defendant has been convicted of two such crimes.”
The letter continued, “Even if detention was not mandatory here, which it is, the defendant cannot meet his burden to show by clear and convincing evidence that he is not likely to flee or pose a danger to any other person or the community.”
In a separate letter on Wednesday, Cassie’s lawyer supported the government’s argument for Diddy to remain behind bars.
“Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Combs is likely to pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case, including herself, as well as to the community,” wrote attorney Douglas Wigdor.
In the courtroom on Wednesday, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilorequested his client’s immediate release, telling Judge Arun Subramanian soon after the verdict was read, “His family is here and could sign a bond.”
Agnifilo asked that Diddy be allowed to return to his Miami Beach home on Star Island.
“Are you proposing he just walk outside now?” Subramanian inquired, to which Agnifilo responded, “Yes.”
“He is no longer charged with sex trafficking or racketeering,” Agnifilo reasoned. “His plane has been chartered — it is in Maui. He does not have access to his plane. This is his first conviction, and it is a prostitution offense. He should be released.”
While Agnifilo requested a $1 million bond that would allow Diddy to travel to New York, Los Angeles and Florida, prosecutor Maurene Comey opposed his release, arguing, “A person found guilty shall be detained until the judicial officer finds he is not likely to flee or be a danger.”
Diddy was arrested in New York in September 2024. He subsequently pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
After his multiple attempts at bail were denied, Diddy remained behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, for nearly eight months while awaiting trial. The proceedings began on May 5, with seven weeks of testimony from witnesses such as Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie, her ex Kid Cudi and Danity Kane member Dawn Richard.
The jury started their deliberations on Monday, June 30. The following day, they reached a verdict on four out of the five counts, but the group remained deadlocked on the racketeering conspiracy charge. After receiving additional instructions from the judge, the jury agreed to continue deliberating on Wednesday morning and delivered their verdict later that day.

The Last of Usco-creator Neil Druckmann confirmed that he is stepping down from the HBO show ahead of its third season.
“I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my creative involvement in The Last of Us on HBO,” Druckmann, 45, said in a statement through his video game company, Naughty Dog, on Wednesday, July 2. “With work completed on season 2 and before any meaningful work starts on season 3, now is the right time for me to transition my complete focus to Naughty Dog and its future projects.”
Druckmann has been a pivotal creative force behind the Last of Us franchise, as co-creator of the original video games for Naughty Dog. He also adapted the live-action TV version of The Last of Us for HBO with Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin. HBO’s adaptation of the hit video games has won eight Emmy Awards (so far). (The Ankler was first to report the news of his departure.)
“Co-creating [the Last of Us] show has been a career highlight,” Druckmann continued. “It’s been an honor to work alongside Craig Mazin to executive produce, direct and write on the last two seasons.”
He continued, “I’m deeply thankful for the thoughtful and dedication the talented cast and crew took to adapting The Last of Us Part I and the continued adaptation of The Last of Us Part II.”
(HBO’s first season of The Last of Us was based on Druckmann and Bruce Straley’s acclaimed 2013 zombie apocalypse game. The Last of Us Part II – which was written by Druckmann and Halley Gross – inspired the second season of the HBO show.)
Despite Druckmann’s exit from The Last of Us TV show’s creative team, he will continue to serve as an executive producer. Mazin said in a statement to Us Weekly that it had been a “creative dream” to work with Druckmann over the past two seasons.
JC Olivera/WireImage
“I couldn’t have asked for a more generous creative partner,” Mazin added. “As a true fan of Naughty Dog and Neil’s work in video games, I’m beyond excited to play his next game. While he focuses on that, I’ll continue to work with our brilliant cast and crew to deliver the show our audience has come to expect. We are so grateful to Neil and Halley Gross for entrusting the incredible story of The Last of Us Part II to us, and we’re just as grateful to the millions of people around the world who tune in.”
The seismic creative retooling of The Last of Us will likely come as a major shock to fans, since Druckmann had signaled that he was very much on board with season 3 when HBO renewed the show in April.
“To see The Last of Us brought to life so beautifully and faithfully has been a career highlight for me, and I am grateful for the fans’ enthusiastic and overwhelming support,” Druckmann said at the time. “Much of that success is thanks to my partner in crime, Craig Mazin, our partnership with HBO, and our team at PlayStation Productions. On behalf of everyone at Naughty Dog, our cast, and crew, thank you so much for allowing us this opportunity. We’re thrilled to bring you more of The Last of Us.”
The Last of Us viewers were left with lots of lingering questions following the May 25 season 2 finale, including whether Pedro Pascalwill return as Joel in season 3. (Pascal’s character Joel was killed off in a storyline that mirrored the events of the Last of Us Part II video game, but continued to appear via flashback scenes.)
In addition to its eight Emmy wins, The Last of Us was recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the Top 10 TV shows of 2023 and won a prestigious Peabody Award for Entertainment in 2024.
The Last of Us seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream on HBO Max.
Pitt, 61, appeared on the Wednesday, July 2, episode of Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast and discussed the ongoing bit where he eats in every single movie. The conversation brought up a wild memory.
“I haven’t thought about this for years. One of my first movies, I’m doing this little independent film,” the actor said, setting the scene. “We’re shooting in this little tiny cafe. It’s full of the crew. So there’s about 60 people in there. It’s hot. You can’t breathe.”
Pitt explained that his character in the film “hadn’t eaten for days” and decided to get a “big plate of beans.” The F1 star joked that he was “all method” at this point in his career.
“I was like, ‘I’m gonna’ do this right,’” Pitt continued. “I just power down this plate of beans. Take two, do the same thing. Take three, I do the same thing. I do the same thing. … Something hit me.”
Because Pitt was filming the scene, he was “stuck” on set and “nature took its course” as they continued filming. Initially, nothing happened but Pitt recalled the most “diabolical” smell descending on set, leading the crew to “flee” the café.
“Ever since then, I’ve paced myself,” Pitt said.
For those unfamiliar with Pitt’s career, eating has become kind of a nonnegotiable for him in movies.

“Damn, I don’t know how I get this — like people eat in life,” Pitt said, noting that it started with his role as Rusty Ryan in 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven. (There are TikTok edits of these scenes, don’t worry.)
“I figured he’s always waiting around. He’s like the consigliere of the group,” Pitt explained. “He’s got to eat on the run. That’s where this came from. There was thought behind it.”
Pitt joked that he’s a “grazer” and noted that out of “everything” he’s done, this is what he’s become known for on screen. As for the best thing he’s consumed on camera? Pitt recalls a “big” ice cream sundae the best.
Pitt previously discussed this with Margot Robbieback in 2019 during the Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood press tour.
“I have noticed you eat food a lot in movies,” Robbie said at the time. Pitt responded, “I like to busy myself, I’m a grazer by nature.”
The Ocean’s Eleven of it all was brought up.
“There was actually method to that, because he was always on the run, always on the move, I figured he could never sit down and have a proper meal,” he told Robbie. “So he always had to grab something on the run.”
