Selling Sunset's Nicole Breaks Silence After Being Put on Pause Amid Feuds

Nicole Young revealed her status on Selling Sunset after she paused filming the Netflix show due to a messy feud with costar Chrishell Stause.

“I had a call with production two days ago during which they told me I have absolutely not been fired from the cast but they chose to pause my filming schedule until next week in order to protect me from situations on set that had become very contentious,” Nicole, 39, told Us Weekly in a statement on Thursday, January 23. “I’m still debating whether or not I want to continue filming in this kind of environment, especially with so many infuriating double standards.”

She continued: “Selling Sunset has been a great opportunity and a wild ride, but it is not my life or identity. I have a big, beautiful life outside of the show…and thankfully in the real world, my life and personality can’t be edited or misconstrued to portray me negatively to fit into a produced storyline.”

The Netflix show put Nicole on pause after Chrishell, 43, previously threatened to quit, according to a report by TMZ. An explosive incident allegedly took place late last year between Nicole and other coworkers at the Oppenheim Group. The cast dinner captured a reported confrontation between Nicole, Chrishell and Emma Hernan.

All of the Biggest 'Selling Sunset' Feuds Throughout the Years

Per the report, Nicole then filmed a one-on-one scene with Jason Oppenheim where he suggested she take a step back from the office. After the talk, Nicole has reportedly not filmed any new content for season 9 of the hit reality series.

Us Weekly has reached out to Stause and Netflix for comment. The report comes one month after Chrishell made it clear that she would never forgive Nicole — and only film with her if she got a big pay bump.

“At the end of the day, obviously I have very strong feelings about her that I stand 10 toes down on and I don’t take any of that back. I believe every bit of it,” Chrishell said in a TikTok video posted by Pedestrian TV in October 2024. “However, I am also a business woman.I always will be able to change my mind if you add a zero. So listen, I hate her, but if you are going to pay me a ton of money to go say it to her face, then write the check.”

Chrishell and Nicole originally found themselves at odds during season 6 whenNicole accused Chrishell of only getting real estate listings because Chrishell’s ex Jason — had a crush on her.

“A couple of years ago, Jason added both Nicole and I onto a listing. And Nicole didn’t think that I deserved any credit when the house sold because I was a fairly new agent. And she felt like she did a lot more work than I did,” Chrishell recalled on the show. “Even though I did show the house to multiple buyers, and I held open houses.”

Chrishell escalated the situation by claiming Nicole was on drugs at a group dinner. Nicole denied the allegations as Chrishell continued to question her intentions on the show.

What the 'Selling Sunset' Cast Has Said About Returning — Or Quitting

“The thirst for camera time on season 6 is REAL. Wow. That was insanity. But also SO transparent. Get your 15mins girl but leave my business out of it 🤡,” Chrishell wrote via Instagram at the time. “Screenshots have been archived for this very moment. Of COURSE you have a huge issue with me now — not before — when you have a camera crew around you. I hate fake 💩. If you want camera time — JUST SAY THAT. I would have helped you get the right angle. But don’t try to come for people I love or my business when you were added and I was there to hype you up, excited for you.”

Despite attempts on Chrishell’s side to address their issues in season 7, Nicole wouldn’t apologize. The divide got worse when Nicole brought up rumors one season later that Emma, 32, was allegedly sleeping with a married man. Emma, who denied the claims, recently told Us how she planned to address the affair allegations on the show.

“I wasn’t given a voice in the last season. I had no idea what was being filmed behind my back. I filmed an entire season just trying to be there for one of my best friends [Chelsea] going through one of the most difficult times of her life and that was taken away by what happened when the show came out and me being blindsided,” she told Us in December 2024 about finding out what Nicole said days before the episodes aired. “You saw me in a light that was false and unfair. I’m very passionate about that [because of] how hurtful it was to me. I really can’t reiterate how painful it was to me and how shocked I was and how hurt I was and how blindsided I was to everything.”

Where the ‘Selling Sunset’ Cast Stands on the Biggest Feuds

Emma continued: “I wish that I was at least made aware of what was being said behind my back because then I could’ve addressed it and squashed it in two seconds because there was no truth to it. But that wouldn’t be as great of a story line. It wouldn’t be as juicy. So of course, they didn’t give me that opportunity because they know it would’ve been squashed in two seconds. I wish things could’ve been handled differently and people involved could’ve done things differently.”

Selling Sunset is currently streaming on Netflix.

Miles Mitchell, the Timothée Chalamet lookalike contest winner, is making a name for himself.

Mitchell took to TikTok on Wednesday, January 22, to reveal he’ll be suiting up as Chalatmet, 29, once again to star in an Impossible Foods “social ad.” To transform into the actor, Mitchell tried out a number of different mustaches in the studio to mimic Chalamet’s facial hair. After finding the perfect match, the beauty team glued the hair above his upper lip.

“Then I put on the outfit that matched Timothée Chalamet’s game-day outfit, which was him wearing a black hoodie and a pink jacket,” Mitchell explained, referencing the look the actor sported while making an appearance on College GameDay last month.

Mitchell continued, first trying on a fuchsia puffer coat, “The first jacket was a bit too pink so they had me put on a different jacket that was more black and pink. I think this one was a lot better and fit the vibe a lot more.”

Twinothee Chalamet: A Look-Alike Contest in NYC Had a Surprise Guest

The doppelgänger added that the “shoot was super fun.” Mitchell continued: “I love doing stuff like this. I can’t believe that this all came from me showing up to a park one day and randomly winning a celebrity lookalike contest.”

“From a park to a green screen 😂. The dad lore has been crazy this year!” he captioned the Instagram post. “Super thankful and blessed for this opportunity ❤️‍🔥.”

In the ad, which was created for Instagram and TikTok Mitchell can be seen making lookalike jokes while comparing Impossible Foods’ snacks.

After Chalamet crashed his own lookalike contest in New York City in October 2024, he invited a number of the contestants to join him as he hosts and musical guest stars on the forthcoming episode of Saturday Night Live on Saturday, January 25. Here’s hoping they also make a surprise cameo with Chalamet in an SNL sketch.

Everything Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster Said About Each Other Before Romance

Before Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster started dating in 2024, they portrayed one of the most iconic theatrical couples.

Jackman and Foster were cast as Professor Harold Hill and Marian Paroo, respectively, in the 2022 revival of Broadway’s The Music Man, where they instantly hit it off and became friends offscreen.

“Hugh and I actually have [a pre-show ritual],” Foster said during a July 2022 appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark. “We call it ‘carpet chat.’ We hang out in my dressing room before every show and just catch up. At some point, we ended up sitting on the carpet.”

She gushed, “It’s such a wonderful thing, and we’ve become really good friends. We talk and catch up on our days. That’s been one of the best parts of the whole thing is that I’ve made this wonderful new friend.”

Sutton Foster and Hugh Jackman’s Relationship Timeline

The two actors were each married to other people at the time. Jackman and wife Deborra-lee Furness had been together for two decades before they separated in 2023. Foster, meanwhile, filed for divorce from husband Ted Griffin in October 2024. One month later, Us Weekly confirmed that she had moved on with Jackman.

Keep scrolling to look back at Jackman and Foster’s connection in their own words:

‘An Explosion of Awesome’

Jackman teased The Music Man, and Foster’s performance specifically, via Instagram in December 2021.

“There are hundreds who’ve made this moment happen. But there’s one, in particular, I pay tribute to — @suttonlenore, this show is nothing without you,” he wrote. “You’re an exceptional talent and friend. Your joy brings the entire company of @musicmanbway to life. I can’t wait for the world to see you as Marian. They are in for an explosion of awesome.”

Where It All Started

Also in December 2021, Jackman looked back on March 2020 during their rehearsal process.

“On March 10, 2020 @suttonlenore and I took these photos. We were just starting our first workshop for @musicmanbway,” he captioned a pair of selfies. “Little did we know what was lurking around the corner … I’m beyond excited to share these photos as we pack up from the rehearsal space and make our way uptown to the great white way at our new home at the #wintergarten [sic]. Deliriously joyful, grateful and petrified all at the same time. Wouldn’t want to be standing beside anyone else but Sutton and this extraordinary cast and crew.”

Side by Side

“This man. An honor to be by your side. You. Are. The. BEST,” Foster wrote via Instagram in February 2022, sharing pics from the official opening night of Music Man.

Birthday Wishes

In the middle of the Music Man run, Jackman made sure to celebrate Foster’s birthday.

“Happy birthday to a great friend and the best onstage partner in the world,” he wrote via Instagram in March 2022. “@suttonlenore you make the world a better place. I’ve booked a table for 50 in River City tonight and, the mayor is paying.”

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster Are 'Happier Than Ever'

‘A Dream’

Speaking on CBS Mornings in April 2022, Foster called the costarring experience “a dream.”

“Hugh is a dream [and I’m] just having the time of my life,” she reiterated. “He’s always a dream. … One of the best things that happened is, because of COVID, we ended up sharing a room at the rehearsal space because we were trying to keep everything safe. We would have a check-in every day and we became really close. When we moved to the theater, we each had our own dressing rooms and we were like, ‘Wait a minute, I’m going to miss you.’ So, we come together for a half-hour before every show. It’s pretty cool.”

‘Having the Time of My Life’ on Stage Together

“I’m having the time of my life playing opposite this guy,” Foster said during a joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers in May 2022. “It’s a dream come true.”

According to the two-time Tony winner, she was intimidated by Jackman when they first met.

“Very much so, I mean, [he’s] Hugh Jackman,” Foster added. “Then, our names are really big on a giant billboard and I was like, ‘Oh, God, that’s gonna cost a lot of money when they have to replace me because that’s real big. It’s a lot of pain.’”

A Dancing Match

Jackman was initially wary about dancing alongside Foster in Music Man.

“I’m not a dancer,” he told Vanity Fair in September 2022. “It’s not in my bones. But I can learn it. I can get there. So I thought, having all this time, there’s no way I’m going to waste it. She can learn a new dance in three hours, and she’s the best dancer you’ve seen on Broadway.”

‘Love Island U.K.’ Couples: Where Are They Now?

23 January 2025 at 13:12

Since the U.K.’s Love Island originally debuted in 2002, several of the reality TV couples have stood the test of time.

Love Island follows a different group of singles every season who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa.

During season 3, Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt proved to be a perfect match and their relationship has continued to go the distance since leaving the villa. The couple, who got married in September 2021, are now parents of three. They share daughters Nell and Nora, as well as son Brodie.

“Jamie is a very supportive partner and a great dad,” Camilla gushed to the UK’s Express in July 2023. “He brings a lot of happiness into all our lives. I love that one day we are going to be able to look back on the memories of these times together. We say to each other all the time that surely these will be the best days of our lives.”

Josh and Sophie sparked a romance inside the first All-Stars villa. After the February 2024 finale, the pair have continued to go the distance.
“I can’t imagine life without you! I love being your best friend and I’m so lucky I get to laugh with you every day,” Sophie wrote via Instagram the following May. “Your [sic] the kindest soul and thank you for continuing to make me the happiest I’ve ever been.

Molly and Tom won Love Island All-Stars season 1, continuing their romance on the outside.
“She blows me away every time 🤩 Makes me the happiest man in the world,” Tom gushed via Instagram in June 2024.

Jess and Sammy made their romance official weeks before they won the season 10 prize in August 2023. After returning home to England, they celebrated their victory with their loved ones.
Rumors swirled in October 2023 that the season 10 winners had gone their separate ways less than two months after the finale aired. Sammy subsequently confirmed the news via his Instagram Story.
“Yes, we had a private conversation regarding our relationship, but this was left up in the air and we haven’t had a chance to speak in person,” Sammy wrote in a lengthy statement. “For me to see then today via the mid that we had officially broken up came as a total shock.”
He continued: “I was committed and respectful to our relationship. Unfortunately, things don’t always work out the way you hoped. Despite how this has all played out today, I think Jess is an amazing woman and genuinely wish her all the best.”
Jess did not publicly address the breakup at the time.

However, they ultimately broke up in March 2024 after seven months together.
“Love Island’s Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble have made the decision to end their relationship in the last week,” a rep said in a statement to the U.K.’s Digital Spy. "They both are still extremely close friends and will be supporting each other in their next ventures.”
According to the spokesperson, the relationship “ended on good terms,” and Molly and Zachariah were “parting as friends.”

Kai and Sanam took home the season 9 grand prize when the finale aired in March 2023, making history as the first Casa Amor couple to win. Since leaving the villa, the pair are enjoying blending their lives back home in England.
Kai popped the question in April 2024 during a gondola ride.
“Introducing the next Mrs Fagan ❤️💍,” he wrote via Instagram, sharing proposal pics. “Beautiful, Caring, Loving and Smart are just some of the words that describe you. I love loving you, I love you and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you ❤️.”

Shaq and Tanya also left the South Africa villa as boyfriend and girlfriend.
“Life together starts now! I have a best friend in my boyfriend I can’t wait to fall deeper in love with you! If that’s even possible 🤭❤️,” Tanya gushed via Instagram in March 2023.
One year later, Shaq and Tanya called it quits.
"Hi guys, just want to say unfortunately me and Shaq are no longer together and have parted ways,” Tanya wrote via Instagram Story in August 2024. “We wish each other the best and can’t thank you enough for loving us together until now! Thank you.”

Tom and Samie enjoyed sharing their hometowns with each other after the Love Island finale in March 2023 — one month before calling it quits.
"Didn’t think I’d be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways," the soccer player wrote via Instagram Story in April 2023. "We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her. I’m gutted it’s come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best ❤️."

The season 8 champions returned to their lives in the U.K. after their Spanish summer with hopes of continuing their romance. The Turkish actress revealed during a joint appearance on Loose Women in August 2022 that they are “planning” to move in together that fall.
The couple’s ITV spinoff series, Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings, premiered in November 2022, as they traveled around one another’s native countries: Italy and Turkey. One month later, Davide gifted Ekin-Su with a promise ring as a symbol of their commitment. Despite announcing their split in June 2023, the pair sparked speculation that they had reconciled nearly two months later.
“A scene already seen,” Davide captioned an Instagram Story pic of the duo lounging by a pool in August 2023. Ekin-Su subsequently reposted the snap via her own account. They split again in January 2024.

Gemma and the fishmonger’s romance continued heating up since leaving the villa, as the duo were frequently seen in one another’s social media snaps.
Three months after the finale, however, Gemma announced their breakup.
“I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship,” she wrote via Instagram Stories in November 2022. “It wasn’t an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for us both right now. Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning, and I want to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters.”

Despite finishing in third place, Indiyah and Dami’s connection has continued to grow in the outside world.
“Entering the villa I never expected to find a connection as pure as the one I have now and for that I’ll forever be thankful,” the model wrote via Instagram in August 2022. “Excited to explore new beginnings with you @damihope. Here’s to the future and choosing each other always.”

The Dubai-based real estate agent and Tasha also left the show as a happy couple. “I’m so proud of everything you’ve achieved in such a short space of time. You really are SO special and if I’m honest my inspiration,” Andrew gushed via Instagram in August 2022. “I love you with my whole heart.” The duo adopted a puppy, whom they named Luna, in June 2023 and planned to renovate a joint house together in the countryside.
Andrew stood in Tasha’s corner as she competed on Strictly Come Dancing in fall 2024. However, by January 2025, rumors surfaced that the pair had split. Tasha’s mom appeared to confirm the breakup by “liking” several Instagram comments about the apparent situation.

The Love Island UK season 4 alum asked Paige to be his official girlfriend shortly after they were dumped from the island, which he confirmed to On Demand Entertainment in August 2022.
However, the pair eventually split by that October. “I'm single — living my best life! I'm kidding, it's been a really s—t time,” Paige quipped during an appearance on the “Saving Grace” podcast, alleging that he was unfaithful. (Adam, for his part, has denied cheating on his former partner.)

After a string of bad luck in the villa, everything changed for Danica when the soccer player walked through the doors. Despite being voted off the island, the pair’s romance continued to blossom.

After winning season 7 of Love Island, the pair have offered fans a glimpse at their travel adventures together. In July 2022, they announced their breakup via their respective Instagram Stories. Following their time in the villa, Teddy and Faye's romance continued to heat up off screen before the pair welcomed a new puppy in September 2022.
After months of split speculation, Faye announced in February 2023 that the twosome had called it quits.
“I wanted to let you know that after lots of time and consideration, Teddy and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. “Thank you all so much for supporting our relationship and sharing the journey with us. I'm forever grateful.”
Teddy seemingly addressed the breakup in an Instagram post of his own, writing, "Love you all following the journey, there is always going to be ups and downs, but we keep going 🖤."

Eva and Nas continued dating after being dumped from the Love Island villa in 2020. After four years together, they broke up.
“Unfortunately, Eva and I have decided to end our relationship. There is no bad blood or wrongdoing. It was a mutual and completely amicable decision,” Nas wrote via Instagram Story in March 2024. “We tried to work things out over the past couple of months but decided this was for the best, and are both at peace with the situation.”
Nas concluded, “I am grateful to Eva and her family for the past 4 years and will cherish those memories, and wish her all the best going forward.”

The season 6 winners moved in together shortly after leaving the island. However, they ultimately split three years later.
“We're still really good friends. I think we drifted apart. We did [COVID-19] lockdown together and any and every struggle we could have faced, we were faced with,” Paige confessed during a June 2023 episode of Love Island’s Aftersun. “But we're still good friends.”

Former ‘SNL’ Producer Weighs in on Jason Kelce's New Late-Night Show

Jason Kelce’s new venture in late-night TV is being met with optimism.

Less than three weeks after They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce premiered on ESPN, one industry leader believes the Super Bowl champion may have what it takes to succeed in the competitive landscape.

“If the show is good and the content is great, people will find it,” Emmy-winning producer Lindsay Shookus — who worked on Saturday Night Live for more than a decade — shared with the New York Times in an interview published Thursday, January 23. “I think ESPN and Jason’s team have to buckle down and find the format that’s going to let him shine.”

While the show has already included special appearances from Kylie Kelce, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and rapper Lil Dicky, They Call It Late Night also leans into sketches and banter.

Everything to Know About Jason Kelce's Late-Night Show

According to Shookus, the unscripted sports discussions were Kelce’s strength after he began serving as an analyst on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown in the fall of 2024.

“He’s not a comedian, and I don’t think you can ask him to be a comedian all of a sudden,” Shookus explained. “I think to break through, you have to capture his authentic self.”

Although Kelce, 37, has spent much of his career focused on football — he spent his entire 13-year career as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles — the “New Heights” podcast cohost has been exploring new career paths ever since he announced his retirement from the NFL in March 2024.

When he signed a multiyear deal to be an ESPN analyst, he negotiated a late-night show concept into his contract.

“I love late-night shows,” Kelce said during a November 2024 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “I’ve always loved them. I remember at sleepovers watching Conan O’Brien with my friends.”

Jason Kelce Had 1 Very Specific Demand About His Late-Night Show

As They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce continues airing Saturdays at 1 a.m., ESPN’s president of content, Burke Magnus, is confident Kelce has what it takes to create a unique — and successful — show.

This is not something I think would work with just anyone, but he’s one of those guys that I believe can pull it off,” Magnus told the New York Times. “For me, it’s going to be a little bit more art than science. Do people think it’s good and funny? Does it have the potential to grow?”

They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce airs on ESPN Saturdays at 1 a.m. ET.

NHL's Matthew Tkachuk Doesn't Care If You Like Him: 'Why Not Be Myself?'

Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk knows hockey culture is steeped in tradition, but he’s not particularly concerned about ruffling some feathers.

Tkachuk, 27, who won a Stanley Cup with the Panthers last season, has enjoyed pushing boundaries both on the ice with his hard-nosed style of play and off the ice with his colorful disposition.

As the American-born player explains it, he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I have the ability to be able to reach different pockets of people in the U.S. with hockey and with my personality, playing in south Florida, being born in Arizona and being from St. Louis,” Tkachuk exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the NHL’s inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off, which begins February 12. “I’m very lucky in that sense. I just think, why not be myself? Why waste all this time having the time of my life and not act like myself? Why would I not show off my personality?”

H.S. Friends Jayson Tatum and Matthew Tkachuk Win Titles 1 Week Apart

He added, “That’s how I approach it. I guess some people like it, some people don’t like it. But I’ll never change being myself.”

Tkachuk, the son of 18-year NHL veteran Keith Tkachuk, said this generation’s players are feeling the freedom to step outside of the box more than ever.

“I think the mindset of guys has changed a little bit,” Matthew explained. “They’re able to express themselves more than they were 10, 15, 20 years ago. And I think that’s great. I think it’s great for personalities. I think it’s great for fans to relate to players more, being able to see more of them. I think that’s very important for growing the game.”

Matthew will help expand hockey’s reach even further when he represents the United States in the first-ever 4 Nations Face-Off, which pits the league’s best players from the U.S., Canada, Sweden and Finland in a best-on-best tournament. Joining Matthew on Team USA will be his younger brother, Ottawa Senators star Brady Tkachuk

Competition aside, Matthew is looking forward to showcasing the beauty of the sport’s international appeal.

“One thing I really like about hockey is you have so many different guys from so many different places in the world,” Matthew said. “Hockey is the one thing that brings them all together. It doesn’t matter if you’re from Russia or Finland or Sweden, in a weird scheme of everything, you are pretty much the same the way you’ve been brought up in the game. It’s pretty cool.”

NHL's Filip Forsberg Gushes About 'Rare' Opportunity Given With Son Felix

He added, “I love getting to know teammates from different backgrounds and different parts of the world. Some of my great friends in hockey are from places that are so different than where I am from.”

Along the way, Matthew will be looking fresh thanks to role as an off-ice ambassador for fashion and lifestyle brand Perry Ellis.

“I just love their stuff,” Matthew gushed. “I’m super excited to wear it not only to 4 Nations, but to wear it on just a normal day for myself. I think it looks awesome and for them to be with us at USA Hockey, I think everybody is going to really like it.”

The 4 Nations Face-Off will drop the puck on February 12, with games taking place in Montreal and Boston through the championship game on February 20. Tickets for all 4 Nations Face-Off games are available for purchase via Ticketmaster.com

Below Deck's Aesha Scott Gets Bombshell Makeover for Upcoming Wedding

Aesha Scott gave new meaning to “taking the plunge” on Wednesday, January 22, in New York City when she revealed a glamorous makeover in a sexy white jumpsuit befitting the bride-to-be.

Lest you forget, last summer, Below Deck Mediterranean‘s Chief Stew exclusively told Us Weekly that she was engaged to her high school sweetheart, Scott “Scotty” Dobson. Before proposing, Scotty worked with Aesha’s favorite jewelry designer, Layla Kaisi, on a one-of-a-kind ring. The round-cut diamond is set with multiple baguettes, each meant to represent a member of Aesha’s family.

Fast-forward to the present, the future Mrs. Dobson is dressing the part by making the sidewalk look like the road to the altar. En route to tape an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Wednesday, Aesha, 33, all but stopped traffic in a spangly sheer ivory jumpsuit and gold platforms that felt destined for dancing all night at the Bachelorette party on the horizon.

The actress beamed in a diamond tennis necklace and drop earrings in a gleaming gold finish. Topped with a cozy sherpa-lined coat in a tonal hue, the bridal-white ensemble left little doubt that the reality show fan-favorite is transforming her look in the lead up to the big day. She even had a beauty trial in Bravo’s palm tree-wallpapered greenroom.

Which ‘Below Deck’ Stars Are Invited to Aesha's Wedding — and Which Aren't

Before Aesha sat down for a tête-à-tête with Cohen, 56, red carpet and bridal hairstylist Faith Stanek, gave her a sleek high pony with face-framing curls. The yachting professional donned a full beat, courtesy of makeup artist Natasha Brooks, who gave her a perfectly contoured complexion, fluttery false eyelashes and rosy cream blush that was the definition of “glowing bride to be.” It’s safe to say the future is looking bright for Aesha and Scotty as they plan their fantasy nuptials .

Aesha and Scotty’s meet-cute came a decade after they first met in their native New Zealand when they reconnected. They made their relationship public in 2020, while documenting their far-flung travels around the world. Consider it an earlier Earlymoon, if you will.

The couple made it official in May 2024. “Homunga Bay was my dream place to get engaged, but I had no idea it was coming and was totally surprised,” Aesha exclusively told Us about Scott popping the question on the beach near her hometown.

Hulu is keeping a tight lid on most plot details involving This Is Us creator Dan Fogelman‘s mysterious new political thriller Paradise.

According to the synopsis, Paradise is “set in a serene, wealthy community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals. But this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high stakes investigation unfolds.”

Sterling K. Brown is playing the head of security for a former president — played by James Marsden — who is the last person to see him alive. Not much is known outside of that since Fogelman has preferred to surprise viewers with his shows. The trend started with This Is Us, which aired from 2016 to 2022, and costarred Brown in a lead role. (This Is Us viewers didn’t know the show was set in various decades until the end of the pilot.)

Despite fans hoping for a This Is Us spinoff, Fogelman expressed interest in moving forward.

Every Project That Reunited ‘This Is Us’ Cast, Crew After the Show Ended

“My well is pretty dry right now and I think we wanted to end the show when we thought we were at our creative strong point before it got too tiring, too hard for us to come up with ways to keep it special and interesting. I feel this is the right endpoint,” Fogelman explained to Entertainment Tonight in May 2022. “Who knows what change of heart or midlife crisis brings but I feel like we’ve put these stories to bed now. Certainly for quite a bit of them.”

When Does ‘Paradise’ Premiere?

The first three episodes will debut on Tuesday, January 28, and then new installments will be released weekly. Ahead of the show’s premiere, it was announced that Paradise will make its broadcast debut on ABC and FX, which is a first for Hulu. Only the first episode will air on ABC Wednesday, January 29 at 10 p.m. ET and on FX Saturday, February 1 at 10 p.m. ET.

What Does the ‘Paradise’ Trailer Reveal?

Hulu has done a good job not sharing too much about the plot of the show. Based on the sneak peek, Brown and Marsden lead a political thriller where there is more than meets the eye.

Before reuniting on Paradise, Brown and Fogelman collaborated on This Is Us. The hit NBC series paved the way for several reunions such as Moore joined forces with This Is Us showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger in 2022 for a Hulu show based on the hit “Twin Flames” podcast.

Meanwhile over at CBS, Justin Hartley teamed up with This Is Us producer and director Ken Olin to adapt Jeffery Deaver‘s novel The Never Game, which became the network’s hit series Tracker.

Kylie Kelce Admits She Has No Idea What 'Vanderpump Rules' Is About

Kylie Kelce knows there’s a dark-haired woman on Vanderpump Rules, but that’s pretty much where her knowledge of the Bravo hit ends.

Kelce, 32, brought pop culture expert Amanda Hirsch on to the Thursday, January 23, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. There, the two participated in a segment Kelce calls “Coach Me Up,” where her guest gives her a quick lesson on whatever subject they’re an expert in.

When it comes to reality TV, the soon-to-be mother of four needed all the coaching she could get.

“I’m not gonna lie, I am so bad at keeping up with [pop culture] I can’t even put it into words,” she admitted. “I do not watch, really, reality TV. I don’t keep up with celebrity happenings.”

While her first question was understandable for someone without much reality TV knowledge — she asked which Real Housewives franchise she should watch) — her second highlighted exactly how behind the times she really is.

“What is Vanderpump Rules?” she asked.

Hirsch turned away from the camera as she responded, “Oh my God, we have work to do.”

Kelce clarified, adding she does know something about the show.

“I know that there is, like, a pretty matriarch, dark-haired woman who is the head,” she said, describing Bravo icon Lisa Vanderpump. “That’s all I know. That’s all I got. I couldn’t tell you who else is involved in the show, I couldn’t tell you the woman’s name.”

Travis Kelce Jokes 'Love Is Blind' Is 'Worse' Than 'Catching Kelce'

Hirsch then gave Kelce a quick history lesson on how the show evolved out of Vanderpump’s origin on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, focusing on the drama between the staff at her restaurant, SUR.

“But they’re, like, 45 now so they haven’t been working at the restaurant,” Hirsch added. “But I’m so glad that now you know. I’m going to take this honor with me that now you know what it is.”

Kelce did not commit to catching up on all 11 seasons of the Bravo hit, but she did ask for advice on which dating show to start watching. She clarified that she has heard of Love Island but has not seen “a single episode.”

Hirsch recommended she start with Love Is Blind instead — a smaller commitment than Love Island, which has seasons that can run up to 49 episodes.

Like VPR, Kelce had the most basic knowledge of the show.

“Is Love Is Blind when they are speaking through a wall?” she asked. “And they meet up at the end in a weird little hallway? I’ve seen the hallway in TikTok clips.”

She assured Hirsch that she would try Love Is Blind, “If I get there.”

Stockard Channing Says 'Grease' Wasn't 'Taken at All Seriously' at First

Stockard Channing Says Grease Wasn t Taken At All Seriously When It Came Out But She Is Still Proud of Her Role 130

Stockard Channing was an inimitable force as Betty Rizzo in 1978’s Grease, though the movie was never meant to become a huge phenomenon.

“I gave [Grease] my all, and I’m proud of the performance and proud of the character. But at the time, it was not taken at all seriously,” Channing, 80, told The Times of London in a profile published on Thursday, January 23. “The money that it was making was resented. I was resented. It’s a kid’s movie — it was really pissed on.”

Channing, who was 33 at the time, portrayed Rizzo, the 17-year-old leader of the Pink Ladies clique, and performed the show-stopping “There Are Worse Things I Could Do” ballad. (The high school film also starred John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as star-crossed lovers Danny and Sandy.)

“The depth of the impact is bizarre,” Channing recalled of Grease. “I’ve gone through a lot of changes about that experience. I needed the gig enormously; things were not going well after a big, big lesson in show business.”

'Grease' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Despite the popularity of the movie-musical, Channing still struggled to book a steady stream of roles and, instead, focused her career on the stage.

“But then I realized with time, how it’s affected generations, especially of women and even some men,” she claimed. “I’m not going to name the actor, but we were in a movie together and we were doing a press tour. We passed each other from one press table to another, and he said, ‘You were my wet dream when I was 12.’ Oh, thank you so much. A little too much information.”

Channing has also since relocated from the United States to England, where she moved in 2019.

“I enjoyed living here, the friendships I had, I kept, I was spending months at a time here. And then I was here during COVID, and that sort of cemented everything,” she recalled. “I realized that I was happier here. Also at my age, people get sick, and people die and people move away. And that started to happen. Now I live here, and I’m really grateful that I was able to pull it off.”

Henry Winkler Explains Turning Down John Travolta’s Role in ‘Grease’

Channing further gushed that “life is very good” for her, denying that she’d get into another long-term relationship in the future. (Channing, who has been married four times, was last in a relationship with Daniel Gillham until his death in 2014.)

“No, I think that would be such a pain in the ass,” Channing quipped. “I’m consolidating, thank you very much. I’m very happy with the friends I have. No. Life is good.”

Susan Noles Reveals If She’s Dating Golden Bachelorette’s Jack Lencioni

Susan Noles is setting the record straight on where she stands with The Golden Bachelorette’s Jack Lencioni.

“God bless Jack,” Susan, 67, shared on the Wednesday, January 22, episode of iHeartRadio’s “I Do, Part 2” podcast. “The world thought, ‘Susan and Jack.’ Jack likes to cook like I do. We did meet and he’d be a great friend.”

Despite some fans shipping the couple, Susan squashed any and all rumors that they are dating.

“We’re both loud and we’re both Italian and we both like to cook and we’re both funny at times,” she said. “Two of the same as me may be not so good.”

Susan Noles Reacts to Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s Divorce

Susan made a lasting impression on fans when she competed for Gerry Turner’s heart on The Golden Bachelor in September 2023. Jack, meanwhile, appeared on Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette in 2024.

While Susan and Jack, 68, didn’t find their forever partner on their respective ABC reality shows, there’s always hope for a Bachelor in Paradise show with an older generation.

“Rumor has it they’re thinking about some Golden Paradise and the first thing I said was, ‘We’re not going to Mexico with bugs and no air conditioning,’” Susan shared with a laugh. “It’s not going to work at our age.”

All jokes aside, Susan said she’d be open to participating and is hoping producers pick a fabulous cruise ship to help facilitate some connections.

She’s also hoping for some new guys to join the show after discovering some of Joan’s exes are taken.

“Here’s the issue,” Susan explained. “Women are not shy, so those men that did not get chosen — and they’re all lovely men. I’ve interviewed quite a few of them and had them on our podcast and got to know them and they’re great guys — most of them are taken.”

According to Susan, the men who competed on The Golden Bachelorette had their DMs blow up after their show aired. The ladies of The Golden Bachelor haven’t been so lucky.

Memorable Golden Bachelor and Bachelorette Contestants: Where Are They Now?

“I remember them saying it to us, ‘Don’t worry ladies. When you get off here, you’re going to get so many people asking you out,’” she recalled. “Men my age aren’t really on Instagram and social media. You’re lucky if you get a Facebook, you know what I mean. And they’re not doing that, but women do.”

As Susan remains single and ready to mingle, the hair and makeup artist — who was previously married to retired baseball player Dickie Noles — still has plenty of hope for a second chance at love.

“I’m such a believer in positive attracts positive and what you put out there you’re going to get right back at you,” she declared. “If you feel a little negatively, be aware of it. …It really works.”

A suspect was sentenced for murdering children at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the U.K. last summer. According to the Associated Press, 18-year-old Axel Rudakubana was sentenced to 52 years in prison, with a judge referring to the incident as “the most extreme, shocking and exceptionally serious crime.” Rudakubana was 17 at the time of his arrest, meaning that he could not be sentenced to life without parole. The stabbing took place in Southport, England, in July 2024 and led to the deaths of three children under the age of 10. Rudakubana was charged for the three murders and faced 10 additional charges of attempted murder and one count of possession of a bladed article. Swift was not officially associated with the event, but she addressed the tragedy in a public statement. “These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families,” she wrote at the time. Follow along with more top stories below:

Sister Wives’ Kody Admits He and Robyn Aren’t ‘Synced Up’ About Coyote Pass

23 January 2025 at 12:12

Kody Brown and wife Robyn Brown are a united front on most things, but the idea of selling their Coyote Pass property isn’t one of them.

“I love Coyote Pass. I always have,” Robyn, 46, says in Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the Sunday, January 26, episode of Sister Wives. “It’s hard to think of letting it go.”

Kody, 55, confesses, “Robyn and I haven’t really synced up” when it comes to their plans for the property. (Kody and Robyn share the Arizona plots of land with his ex-wives Janelle and Meri Brown.)

“We’re in different places and it’s an in and out,” Kody says of his and Robyn’s differing opinions. “It’s like sometimes I want to keep it, sometimes I want to sell it. And Robyn knows we need to sell it but sometimes wants to keep it.”

Robyn is aware that her husband is looking to sell the land, especially since it has been a point of contention with all his ex-wives.

Kody and second wife Christine Brown split in November 2021. When she left Kody, Christine, 52, gave her portion of Coyote Pass back to him and Robyn. In return, she kept the money from the sale of her Arizona house.

Kody and Janelle, 55, parted ways in December 2022 and in January 2023, Meri, 53, announced her separation from the patriarch.

Throughout season 19 of Sister Wives, Meri and Janelle have butted heads with Kody over their rights to the land and their desire to sell and get the money to move on without him. (Kody previously confessed that he had considered “screwing” Janelle over with the land, but Robyn “won’t let me.”)

That turmoil has weighed heavy on Kody and Robyn, who tied the knot in 2014.

'Sister Wives’ Preview: Janelle Wants to Move to Montana, Sell Kody’s Land

“Every time I’m at a Coyote Pass, I’m just like my heart aches,” Robyn says in Us’ sneak peek at this week’s episode. “I [just] see the vision that I’ve always imagined, you know, all of the space and the houses.”

Kody understands where his wife is coming from, revealing that Coyote Pass is “literally the last place our family ever got everybody together.”

The property has since become something that reminds the couple of what could have been. “It’s just been so difficult and so sad with the family,” Robyn adds. “I know everybody just wants out of the pain.”

Noted actress and neuroscientist Mayim Bialik is admittedly not well-versed in pop culture, so she turned to a former Bachelor for assistance.

During her Thursday, January 23, appearance on Nick Viall’s eponymous podcast, she was asked to give feedback on Grant Elliscast of women before his season premiere next week.

“What’s the premise?” Mayim, 49, asked Nick, 44, who previously served as the franchise lead in season 21 after respective appearances on The Bachelorette and Bachelor In Paradise.

Before Mayim and Nick went through the women vying for Grant’s heart, the podcaster gave her a run-down of the entire show.

What to Know About Grant Ellis’ Season 29 of ‘The Bachelor’

“Twenty-five to 30 women show up and night one they come out,” Nick explained. “Sometimes, people [are] like myself; I blacked out and was really nervous. Some people hang glide down. … The producer was like, ‘So, what do you want to do?’ I was like, ‘Well, I was just going to introduce myself.’ They’re like, ‘Well, we’re not sure, but if you want to parachute in or something, like, you never know.’ Sometimes they will do a stunt.”

The Big Bang Theory alum had questions about the length of episodes, how the lead narrows down the crop of suitors and more logistics.

“Night one, they get anywhere from zero seconds to two minutes of time to make a connection,” Nick continued. “One person gets what’s called the ‘first impression rose’ and they’re safe. At the end of the night, the Bachelor hands out a bunch of roses and if you don’t get a rose, you go home.”

Nick’s wife, Natalie Joy, chimed in, “By the end of it, he proposes to one person and gets engaged.”

Nick, who met his wife after his Bachelor Nation tenure, further explained how the end of the show works ahead of the final rose ceremony.

Grant Ellis Reveals When He Found Out He Was the Next Bachelor

“The final four weeks, there’s what’s called ‘hometown week,’ where the [lead] gets to meet their families and then it’s super weird. The Bachelor has to fake-ask for the blessing of a bunch of people he has no intention of getting engaged to. Then, the third week is called ‘fantasy suite week’ and you have an overnight with each [person] off camera.”

Mayim then asked whether fantasy suites were a place for contestants to hook up.

“Sometimes [they have] the sex, and sometimes not the sex,” Nick added.

Mayim, meanwhile, wanted to know what would happen if “somebody gets pregnant” from an off-camera tryst.

“I know I’m just supposed to say, ‘Use birth control,’ but I have to tell my kids the only way not to get pregnant [is to abstain or use contraceptives],” Mayim added.

Nick and Natalie, 25, jumped in to joke that they’ve “been hoping” for a pregnancy scare for the sake of show ratings.

“On my season, there were a couple [magazine] covers … claiming that I might have gotten one of the people pregnant. That was a rumor,” he stated.

Nick first appeared on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette in 2014, finishing in second place. He returned in the middle of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season in 2015 and was also the runner-up. After a brief jaunt to Paradise season 3, Nick served as the lead. He got engaged to Vanessa Grimaldi only for them to split several months later.

Grant’s season 29 of The Bachelor premieres on ABC Monday, January 17 at 8 p.m. ET.

Former Bachelor Zach Shallcross is setting the record straight about why he and his fiancée, Kaity Biggar, decided to get out of their wedding contract.

“We had been planning or talking about wanting to plan our wedding, figure out a date, figure out a venue, what do we like, what we don’t like,” Shallcross, 28, said on the Thursday, January 23, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast.

Shallcross explained that he and Biggar met with one of their “good friends” who is a wedding planner to talk details.

“Credit to our wedding planner, she took it and started to run with it and started just booking us at all these places,” Shallcross said. “And we’re like, ‘Oh, wow, this is happening really quick.’”

Where Are Bachelor's Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar Getting Married?

When their wedding planner said the couple would have to “go a lot over” their budget for their ideal venue, Shallcross and Biggar, who want to prioritize buying a house, took a pause.

“We pondered on it for a week and we’re like, ‘[It] does not feel good to just go so into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are,’ which is buying a house and not a down payment for one day,” Shallcross said. “So we backed out of the contract. Not saying we’re done with wedding planning. We’ve actually gone further in other areas, but we just couldn’t do that. I don’t know, like it’s so crazy nowadays.”

Bachelor Nation first met Shallcross during Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season 19 of The Bachelorette, where he went home after making it to the fantasy suites with Recchia.

Shallcross was ultimately crowned the next lead of the franchise in September 2022, where he met Biggar. Shallcross popped the question to Biggar in The Bachelor season 27 finale. During the live After the Final Rose episode, the couple revealed they planned to move in together in Austin, Texas, and were hoping to walk down the aisle in 2025.

Now, Shallcross gushed that he would tie the knot with Biggar tomorrow if he could before the former Bachelor revealed that he and Biggar had plans to make things official soon.

“We’re planning to get eloped very soon, like very soon, and then we’ll figure out like celebration and all that, like the glitz and the glamour,” he shared. “It’s not a matter of when, it’s like the other stuff and like wanting to have all the family from all over come for it.”

Golden Bachelor’s Susan Noles Says Taylor Swift Wanted a Photo With Her

Sorry, Bachelor Nation, but former Golden Bachelor star Susan Noles did not cross paths with Taylor Swift when attending the Kansas City Chiefs game alongside Donna Kelce.

“My phone was blowing up,” Noles, 67, began while recapping her time in Kansas City during the “I Do, Part 2” podcast on Thursday, January 23. She noted that all her friends cared about what if she was going to meet Swift, 35, at the NFL game.

“Donna stayed for most of the game and then she went over to their box — Taylor’s family’s there and everything,” Noles continued. “I said to one of the producers, ‘Everybody wants to know if I’m going to meet Taylor Swift.’ Obviously, not.”

Noles heard through a producer (seemingly with the campaign that the group attended with) that Swift wanted her picture taken with Noles.

“Taylor, if you’re out there listening, I would love to do that,” she said. “But I know the game was not the place to do it.”

Noles added, “That was a little thrill.”

Other notable names, including actresses Brooke Shields, Gina Torres and Roselyn Sanchez, were also at the game. It appears they were all in attendance to raise awareness about shingles for THRIVE@50+, a GSK campaign. They also wore friendship bracelets (also showing support for Swift) that read “thrive,” “resilient” and “intentional.”

The Golden Bachelor alum joked that she and Donna, 72, “go way back” after collaborating in the past.

“Donna and I met last year, we did a job for a company,” she explained during Thursday’s podcast. “We were hired again this year, and that was part of it. We did filming all day.”

Taylor Swift's Best Moments With Travis Kelce's Family

Noles documented her time with Donna ahead of the Chiefs game on Saturday, January 18.

“Game Day Kansas City Baby with Donna,” Noles captioned the photo. While Donna was, of course, wearing Chiefs merch for her son Travis Kelce, Pennsylvania native Noles showed her support for the retired Jason Kelce in a Philadelphia Eagles jersey. Donna also snapped a photo with Noles and Shields.

The Chiefs beat the Houston Texans 23-14 on Saturday.

It was almost a full Kelce family affair at the game, because Jason was also in attendance as an ESPN commentator. At one point, Jason got a chance to praise his younger brother.

“I just couldn’t be more proud of where he is now, the leader he is,” he gushed. “You can see how much the team gravitates toward him and how much he’s really embraced that role. He’s also got a fantastic beard, which I’m also very proud of.”

The reboot and revival craze has now become the sequel and prequel boom — and CBS is at the center of the trend.

The network has invested in their shows over the years with FBI, Fire Country, NCIS and more getting the chance to spread their story across multiple installments.

Fire Country, which debuted in 2022, followed inmate Bode (Max Thieriot) returning home and volunteering for the California Conservation Camp Program. There has since been a backdoor pilot for Morena Baccarin‘s character, which turned into the upcoming Sheriff Country series — and the franchise isn’t slowing down.

“I think there’s still a lot of room to explore. There’s more room to explore in Edgewater and outside of Edgewater,” Thieriot, who serves as an executive producer, teased to Us Weekly exclusively in May 2024. “When I started, I was always putting the cart before the horse. In my head, I had probably at least three other versions outside of Fire Country. Whether any of those ever see the light of day — we’ll see. But I certainly have at least a couple more ideas for this world.”

Every TV Spinoff to (Hopefully) Look Forward to in 2025

There’s also Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, which is following in the footsteps of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon.

“You can watch Young Sheldon without knowing anything about The Big Bang Theory,” star Montana Jordan told Us in October 2024. “And I believe you can watch this new show without watching Young Sheldon. It’s a new start. We’re starting a new thing and you get to follow Georgie and Mandy as they go through all these trials and errors in life. It’s a very relatable topic and everybody knows about it and it’s not a secret.”

Keep scrolling for a guide to each show CBS has — or will — expand on with at least one spinoff series:

‘Elsbeth’

After originally being introduced on The Good Wife and The Good Fight, Carrie Preston returned to CBS as Elsbeth on her own show, which debuted in 2024.

‘FBI’

In 2018, FBI originated on CBS and paved the way for FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International follows. The network has plans to expand with a fourth franchise — FBI: CIA — in development.

‘Fire Country’

The town of Edgewater was originally introduced when Fire Country premiered in 2022. An interest in the fictional world turned into a backdoor pilot for Sheriff Country, which received a straight-to-series order with Baccarin at the helm. Now, there’s a possibility that Padalecki will score his own series titled Fire Country: Surfside.

The Big Bang Theory has stood the test of time after initially airing on the network from 2007 to 2019. The TV universe branched out with the Young Sheldon spinoff and that became a setup for the Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage prequel.

‘NCIS’

NCIS as a franchise started with JAG, which debuted on NBC in 1995. After NBC canceled the show after one season, CBS rescued the series and fan-favorite Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) was introduced alongside his team in the eighth season finale of JAG in 2003.

The backdoor pilot subsequently led to the network ordering a full first season of NCIS, which then grew into Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawaiʻi and NCIS: Sydney. More recently, NCIS: Origins premiered in October 2024 with Austin Stowell playing the younger version of Harmon’s character.

‘The Equalizer’

The reboot of the original series of the same name premiered in 2021 and stars Queen Latifah in the leading role. After five seasons, CBS decided to expand by ordering a potential spinoff starring Titus Welliver and Juani Feliz.
