W.A.G.s to Riches is set in Miami but somehow the Netflix series found a way to feature a feud over a Kansas City Chiefs game.
During the first season, which premiered on Wednesday, January 22, Keeta Hill was asked about the tension between her and Sadé Vanessa.
“We actually had an interaction when [my husband Tyreek Hill‘s team the Miami Dolphins] played Kansas City last season. I didn’t really know [Sadé] but all the wives and girlfriends had a suite together,” she recalled. “We all pitched in and I was filming for Netflix’s Hard Knocks [docuseries] at the time.”
Keeta asked to shoot scenes “in the suite” because it “was zero degrees outside” when the two teams faced off in the Chiefs’ first playoff game of the season.
“All the girls said Sadé was the one saying I couldn’t do it,” Keeta claimed about entering the suite at the game, which took place in January 2024. “I never met her before and I didn’t know who she was. We all pitched in.”
Keeta thought the lack of footage had something to do with it. “I think some of the girls thought, ‘We aren’t getting shot so you all can’t come in,'” she noted.
“I took it upon myself to arrange and coordinate a suite because we are going to Kansas and it is negative seven degrees,” she explained from her perspective. “In that group chat, she was not present. We made plans and everyone sent in money. She had someone speaking for her behalf in the group chat. She sent money.”
Sadé continued: “Me along with several other girls were not comfortable with them. If Hard Knocks wants to put us in a suite then they need to provide it. They didn’t come up to the suite until after halftime because they were filming and I was nothing but nice.”
The duo ultimately hashed things out after a group lunch. “I didn’t choose not to allow you guys to shoot. I wasn’t the main girl [in charge of that decision],” Sadé told Keeta. “It wasn’t even a thought. I am not disagreeing with that.”
Sadé and Keeta admitted there were issues “still lingering” that they wanted to bring to an end. More specifically, they noted that “communication was just not there” when the confusion originally began but they wanted to start fresh.
George Gray is best known for declaring, “Come on down,” on The Price Is Right but there’s more to the announcer than meets the eye.
Gray was born in the suburbs of St. Louis, and later relocated to Tucson, Arizona, for high school and college. After graduating from the University of Arizona, he worked as a sketch and stand-up comedian. Gray also dabbled in acting before turning to hosting.
After Rich Fields revealed in 2010 that he was not returning as The Price Is Right’s announcer, Gray and several others were selected to be rotating announcers for the game show. The following year, Gray officially got the gig.
“I never thought that I’d be [announcing The Price Is Right]. I mean it’s crazy,” Gray reflected in a December 2020 interview for Hosts at Home. “When I was up for the job, I just thought, ‘Well the thing to do is do what I do.’”
Keep scrolling for five things to know about Gray:
Gray Has Hosted Other Game Shows
Before becoming The Price Is Right’s beloved announcer, Gray hosted several other game shows. His first hosting gig was for the Fox Movie Channel’s series FXM Friday Nights. Gray then went on to cohost Movies For Guys Who Like Movies on TBS.
In 2001, Gray joined the series Junkyard Wars as the host for season 1, where he earned his first Emmy nomination. Gray also hosted Extreme Gong, The Weakest Link, National Lampoon’s Greek Games, $25 Million Dollar Hoax, I’d Do Anything and What’s With That House.
Gray Had His Own Viral ‘Price Is Right’ Moment
During a January 2015 episode of The Price Is Right, Gray was describing a treadmill while on the equipment. He decided to jog backwards so the camera could see him and Gray ultimately fell while trying to get off. Despite taking a tumble, Gray decided the show must go on and continued announcing from the floor.
“Aspirin not included,” he quipped in the clip which ultimately went viral.
Gray Suffered From 3 Heart Attacks
In April 2020, Gray was rushed to the hospital for chest pains. He suffered from a heart attack and had a stent put in. The stent failed and Gray had a second heart attack. He then received an additional stent. While in the hospital, Gray suffered a third heart attack. Instead of having a third stent put in, Gray underwent a quadruple bypass. Gray returned to work five months later.
Gray Is Going Through a Divorce
Gray made headlines in January 2025 after he filed for divorce from wife Brittney Green after five years of marriage. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Gray listed the pair’s date of separation as August 1, 2024. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
The announcer later told TMZ that his and Green’s separation was amicable and that the pair were in counseling to work on their marriage.
Gray Is an Avid Vintage Collector
Outside of his career, Gray is an enthusiast for all things vintage. In his home, he has a series of old school pinball machines and video games. He also has several classic cars including a 1972 Corvette.
“Moments in #NYC w my big baby girl ,” Alba, 43, wrote in a post shared via Instagram on Wednesday, January 22, featuring a collage of photos from her latest trip to the Big Apple. “Love 1 on 1 with my angel, Honor.”
In addition to spending time with her oldest daughter, Alba — who also shares Haven, 13, and Hayes, 6, with Warren — was able to catch up with a few close friends, including Chef Giada DeLaurentiis.
“We had all the yummy eats, watched the incredible @ohmaryplay written and performed by @coleescola,” she shared. “I was blown away, beginning to end belly laughs. It was such a good time!”
When she wasn’t staying at her “favorite home-away-from-home,” the Equinox Hotel, in the city, Alba was frequenting a few of her beloved food spots including The Corner Store, COQODAQ and Mari Vanna Restaurant.
Alba’s trip to the East Coast comes just days after the actress addressed her recent decision to separate from her husband.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” Alba wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 16. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
The Honest Company cofounder assured fans that they are “moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family.”
Alba and Warren married in 2008 — four years after meeting on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2004, where Alba played Sue Storm and Warren was a production assistant.
Although Warren, 46, has not publicly commented on the split, a source previously toldUs that the Pair of Thieves cofounder and Alba don’t want to make things “messy” for the kids.
“They are good parents and partners in business together but lost their spark and grew apart,” the source explained. “Jessica and Cash made the decision together that this was no longer working or healthy for anyone.”
A source close to the couple also shared with Us that Alba plans to file for divorce “soon.” The recent Los Angeles Fires, however, have slowed the process down.
“Cash has been slowly moving things out of their house but since the fires, they have been spending more time under one roof as a family,” the source explained. “They are being there for each other right now.”
On Wednesday, January 22, Alaina revealed she is expecting her first child with her husband Cam Arnold, whom she married in February 2024.
In a statement shared with People, Alaina confirmed the news of her pregnancy after hinting about it in her latest music video, “Those Kind of Women,” where she accentuated her growing baby bump.
“It’s all about the women who raised me,” she said of the song. “I was really fortunate to be raised around a bunch of very strong women. And when we cut this song, when we recorded this song, I was not pregnant nor thinking about becoming pregnant,” Alaina told People.
“It’s funny how things fell into place. It literally changed the song for me. I already loved it, because it’s about the women who raised me. But, now I am going to be a woman raising a child.”
Alaina hasn’t yet shared publicly if she is expecting a son or a daughter.
“[I didn’t know] I can love something that I haven’t even really held yet. I feel the baby inside me, and it’s kicking me and doing all of the things. It’s like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew,” she told People.
Alaina said learning she was pregnant “bonded” her and her husband “even more” than their marriage did, People reports.
“My love for him grew that day of getting married, and then finding out we were having a baby together. Walking through this experience with him has been unbelievable.”
”I’m looking forward to watching my husband be a dad,” Alaina continued. “He is so obsessed with our animals; he’s a big nurturer in general. In fact, when I was getting ready to marry him, that was something that I knew would be one of the best things about being his wife, was being able to parent with him.”
Alaina admitted that they weren’t trying to get pregnant yet, hoping to start that process in 2025.
“Now I’m scared because I don’t feel like I passed any sort of test,” she shared. “They don’t make you take a test on being a mom. It’s crazy. People are like, ‘What’s your plan with the birth? And what’s your plan here?’ And I’m like, listen, ‘God’s plan. It wasn’t my plan.’”
She also believes her late father had a hand in everything that transpired in the months following his death.
“I do think that my dad passed away and got a stair up in heaven and was like, ‘Hey, we got to work something out down there to send the family something good.’ And it has been such an unexpected blessing.”
“We obviously still talk about and are dealing with the grief of my dad, but this baby has healed a lot of that for us … like it’s a little piece of my dad that will live on.”

Heath Ledger made an impact from the moment he first stepped in front of the camera — and his legacy continues to live on long after his death.
The Australian actor landed 23 roles during his 19-year career, making it nearly impossible not to see his face on the big screen year after year.
Sadly, Ledger’s life was cut short when he died at the age of 28 in 2008 due to an accidental overdose. Still, his legacy continues in his films — and through his and ex Michelle Williams’ daughter, Matilda, whom they welcomed in 2005.
In his memory, Us Weekly is recounting the performances that made him a legend. Relive his most iconic onscreen moments above and read on for more details about his biggest movie hits.
’10 Things I Hate About You’ (1999)
This was the film that put Ledger on the map and gave the world their first look at that gorgeous smile that lit up the screen. One of his most memorable scenes in his career was in this film — his character, Patrick, sang “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” on the bleachers of the high school stadium to win over Julia Stiles‘ Kat.
‘A Knight’s Tale’ (2001)
Ledger was excited to land a more serious role after the rom-com. This movie was when he realized he had become a movie star. “I am affected by all this, you’d be a freak if you weren’t,” he said in an interview with NitrateOnline in 2001 while promoting the film. “I don’t care about it enough to let it affect me, it’s not the be-all and end-all of my life. I truly work to live. I love what I do, but the special moments for me are between ‘action’ and ‘cut,’ and the rest really bores me.”
‘Brokeback Mountain’ (2005)
The love story of two cowboys earned Ledger his first Academy Award nomination. He didn’t win, but earned great praise for his role of Ennis Del Mar. “Heath is very meticulous,” director Ang Lee told The Guardian in 2006. “I don’t advise actors to come to the monitor to watch themselves, but he’s the only exception I made. He gets better as he gets more self-conscious. He sets himself in a zone and believes in it and keeps refining it.”
‘The Dark Knight’ (2008)
Probably Ledger’s most memorable role is one of his last where he portrayed a very dark joker. The actor earned a posthumous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in the film. While many thought the intense role drove him to his death, Ledger’s family confirmed that wasn’t the case at all.
“He had an amazing sense of humor and certainly playing the Joker, for him it was one big gag. He had so much fun doing that,” his sister Kate Ledger said after the Tribeca Film Festival premiere for I Am Heath Ledger, a documentary made about the actor, in 2017. “It was actually the exact opposite. There was no doom and gloom … That was a shock to me that people even thought that, really.”

Jason Kelce made an interesting impression on now-wife Kylie Kelce’s parents when they were introduced.
“Jason first met my family at my aunt’s house in Northeast Philadelphia,” Kylie, 32, said in a Monday, January 20, clip of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “I extended an invitation to him because my family always has an open-door policy for whoever wants to come. I thought, for sure, that he would say no — and then he didn’t.”
She continued, “He ended up in an above-ground [swimming] pool in the front yard of my aunt’s house. He actually nailed that first impression.”
Kylie and Jason, 37, started dating in 2015 after matching on the dating app Tinder. Initially, Kylie was unaware that Jason played football for the Philadelphia Eagles until they met in person. (Jason retired in 2024 after 14 seasons with the Philly team.)
“My family thought he was a good time,” Kylie recalled. “He was very sweet and it eased my dad’s worries about the fact that I was dating a professional athlete because, you know, not a great reputation going on for them.”
Jason and Kylie dated for three years before he proposed outside of her parents’ house.
“It was a weekend at training camp, so I was fully convinced that we were not getting engaged for another year. … Once football starts, it’s football. There is nothing else,” Kylie previously said during a January episode of Allison Kuch’s “Sunday Sports Club” podcast, noting he popped the question after they left dinner with her folks.
She added, “We go outside, we get in the car, we’re ready to leave and Jason turns and is like, ‘I gotta run back in.’ And I said, ‘Really? This is the time you have to take a s—? … Hurry up.’”
Jason was actually asking for her parents’ blessing to propose, returning to Kylie less than five minutes later.
“I know my husband. That wasn’t enough time to take a s—,” she told Kuch, 30. “So he gets back in the car and I straight up said, ‘Go back in there and finish your business.’ The whole time, he’s just silent and fidgeting. He’s like, ‘I don’t need to take a s—.’”
Jason then told Kylie, “This isn’t the most romantic way to do this, but I need you to get out of the truck.”
At the mere reference of romance, Kylie instantly knew that Jason was about to get down on one knee.
“I blacked out. I have no idea what this man said to me,” Kylie explained earlier this month. “I’m pretty sure he asked me to marry him. I’m not 100 percent sure, but there was a ring involved and I put it on. … I did feel a little guilty about the fact that it was a whole conversation about taking a s— leading up to [it].”
Jason and Kylie wed in 2018, one year before welcoming daughter Wyatt. Daughters Ellie and Bennett followed in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Kylie confirmed late last year that she is pregnant with baby No. 4, another girl.
The Golden Bachelorette alum Jonathan Rone first crossed paths with his girlfriend, Michelle Zimmermann, online.
“So Joan [Vassos] didn’t keep me along for the hometown visits, and so I came back to Iowa with my tail between my legs, so to speak,” Rone, 62, said on the Wednesday, January 22, episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast. “I started this whole journey looking for love and so when I came back, I was a little dejected, and so I kind of eventually went back online and I was just swiping and looking and then I came across Michelle’s pictures and she eventually contacted me. We connected. It’s been a beautiful thing so far.”
Rone gushed that Zimmermann’s “first words” to him on the app “made my heart warm,” but remained tight-lipped on the exact message.
“She said something about my eyes. She could tell something about my eyes was warm and kind, or something along that line,” he recalled. “That let me know that she just wasn’t looking at … we made an eye connection. The eyes are a connection to your soul.”
When asked what dating app he was on, Rone replied, “Let’s just say I was stung by a bee. Bumble.” Rone explained that he connected with Zimmermann when she was in the Midwest, where he is located.
After cohost Kathy Swarts asked whether Rone and Zimmermann had plans to move in together, he replied, “You’re moving fast, aren’t you?”
Rone gushed that his girlfriend of six months “definitely” stole his heart. “I truly am happy. I mean, she’s a wonderful woman. She has a wonderful spirit. She has a playfulness that I think we both connect on and we just have fun with each other,” Rone said. “That’s what I love about it.”
While gathering with fellow contestants from The Golden Bachelorette, Rone revealed during the November 2024 Men Tell All episode that he moved on with a new woman.
“I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity,” Rone told Vassos, 62, who is engaged to winnerChock Chapple, during the episode. “I mean, I wouldn’t be here, I wouldn’t have started the journey if it wasn’t because of you. And so I just kind of wanted to give an update that on this journey that I have met someone and the most important thing about that is that I’m happy.”
Days later, Jonathan got candid about his connection with Zimmermann. “‘So I Dropped The Bomb’… I started my journey looking for love, a love that is a forever love. A love I thought I once had but this was my second chance! So, I went all in with no walls to protect my vulnerability! I had no other intentions than that!” he wrote via Instagram. “This journey can be full of expectations but the unexpected happened and ‘The Bomb’ is the second chance I’ve been looking for! I am so grateful for all the of the support and kind words from all you in the Bachelor Nation! I’m happy to say that Michelle is truly ‘My Bomb.’”
“I went on [The] Ellen [DeGeneres Show] and I just bombed. I mean, I just bombed,” Womack, 52, said on the Monday, January 20, episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast. “Even the publicist at the time kinda gave me the puppy eyes, like, ‘Oh that didn’t go so well.’”
“She called me a jerk the first season because I didn’t pick anybody,” Womack added of DeGeneres, 66. “Thank god, she asked me back for a little bit of redemption. But it was the third time I was on Ellen to announce the second season.”
Womack was previously The Bachelor on season 11 of the franchise in 2007, but chose no one in the end. He was then cast as the lead again for season 15 in 2011, and ultimately popped the question to Emily Maynard. Womack and Maynard, now 38, called off their engagement months after the finale aired. (Maynard went on to become The Bachelorette in 2012 and accepted a proposal from Jef Holm. The pair announced their separation later that year. She has since marriedTyler Johnson and they share five children as well as Maynard’s daughter Ricki, 19, from her relationship with the late race car driver Ricky Hendrick.)
Womack recalled being a “ball of nerves” going into his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, noting that it was when he realized “I’m about to do this thing again.”
“It was really nerve-racking,” he said. “She didn’t cut me any slack, of course, and the audience wasn’t having it. It was a bad appearance. But yeah, she did call me a jerk, but thank god she apologized.”
When asked why the comedian apologized to Womack, he said he thinks DeGeneres “got the other side of the story.”
“Not picking anybody the first season, of course I became public enemy No. 1 right away,” he said. “That was not my intent, I wanted to stay true. I said this so many times, I really do believe in the premise of the show. I just didn’t want to sell-out.”
He continued, “I think [Ellen] took her initial reaction and was thinking, ‘Who does this guy think he is?’ And then I guess through, I don’t know, some other channel she got the true story, and she invited me on. I was able to tell my side of the story and so it went a little bit better. I got a little bit of redemption, but not much.”
Us reached out to DeGeneres for comment.
Since his time on the franchise, Womack has kept his romantic life private. On January 1, Womack hard-launched a romance with a woman named Gabriella.
“We’re having a lot of fun together. She’s an inherently kind human being,” he shared. “I’m really happy. We’re really happy together right now.”
Hailey Bieber is finally sharing all the secrets behind her picture-perfect lip combo.
Bieber, 28, took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 21, to share her beauty brand, Rhode, is dropping a lip liner in the near future. In the clip, Bieber leaned forward while gazing into the camera as an off-screen assistant touched up her look using a double-ended liner and crayon. Bieber then flashed a soft smile while showing off her juicy pout.
In a separate snap, the official Rhode account teased that “something new” was coming, urging its 2.7M followers (and counting) to “check back on Friday.”
Elsewhere in the beauty entrepreneur’s photo dump, Bieber teased her new liner while holding the product between her lips and rolling her eyes. Rather than a full beat, she went makeup-free and wore her caramel strands in finger-raked waves.
Bieber also posted a decidedly glam pic using her liner, donning a dewy base including bronzed cheeks with a touch of blush, a highlighted nose, subtle winged eyeliner, brown eyeshadow and long lashes. She tied her look together with glossy pink lips.
The It Girl completed her cool mom look with a leather jacket featuring baggy sleeves and wool-spliced textured finish.
She followed it up with another zoomed-in snap, this time depicting her lining her lips slightly above her cupid’s bow with the soon-to-be released product.
“,” Hailey, who recently welcomed her first baby boy, Jack Blues, with husband Justin Bieber, captioned the post.
Celebrity friends and fans complimented the Rhode founder in the comments section. Alix Earle went the emoji route with the caption: “,” as Kylie Jenner called Hailey a “hot mom.” More eagle-eyed fans noticed she flashed a Rhode compact in another photo and wondered if it would soon be up for grabs, too.
“Is that a Rhode mirror?!” asked one user, while another added, “RHODE COMPACT MIRRORS .” Other fans were excited about the product launch and wrote, “We see the lip liner!!! .” A third quipped, “Pookie, I need the lip liner.”
And if you’re anything like Us, you’ll want to mark your iCal for Friday, January 24, when the lip liner drops online.
Weeks since his untimely passing, friends of the late filmmaker Jeff Baena are still remembering his larger-than-life personality and warmth.
Alex Ross Perry, a friend of Baena and his wife, Aubrey Plaza, reflected on his friendship with Baena in an emotional Vanity Fair essay published on Wednesday, January 22, revealing that Baena was known for throwing star-studded game nights. “I asked a group chat to share photos of Jeff’s house—game nights, dinner hangs. I’ve looked at the 60 photos Chad Hartigan sent of various get-togethers over the past year,” he shared. “They capture the essence of Jeff’s house, but nothing will replicate the spirit.”
According to Perry, 40, Baena’s game night guest lists would include “an actor or two you maybe recognized, a filmmaker you’re a fan of, and then some guy, or maybe a few some guys.” Despite the famous faces, Perry said “no personality was larger than any other, except for Jeff’s” at the get-togethers.
“You’d sometimes get the feeling his wife, Aubrey Plaza, was content to be another guest at game night, even in her own home,” he added. “It wasn’t her party. When the door opened and the players came through, Jeff and Aubrey’s home became Jeff’s house with Jeff’s rules.”
Baena’s competitive side, which Perry dubbed “game night Jeff,” is a side of the late star Perry grew familiar with. “I knew him well. Perhaps the most widely known Jeff. To me, this meant Codenames, Balderdash, Rummikub, and Scrabble,” he recalled. “He was undefeated—and undefeatable—at Scrabble. It was astonishing and maddening to play him, and I am incredible at Scrabble.”
Perry lived with Baena for a month while filming 2016’s Joshy, during which he said “every night was game night.” Perry explained: “Every day ended with the cast eating together and listening to music that Jeff, and only Jeff, curated. The ‘work’ was an opportunity for him to sit at the head of the table and not get up for weeks. To host, to curate, to introduce, to nurture. These were Jeff’s objectives, whether at his home for a night or on a shoot for weeks.”
In his essay, Perry noted how he “won’t sit at Jeff’s table again for a game night” following his death at age 47 earlier this month. “Honestly, I don’t know what meaning these recollections will turn out to have. I wanted to write this so that I can read it later and remember what Jeff’s house meant to me.”
News of Baena’s death broke on January 3, after the indie director was found dead in his home. Medical examiner records reviewed by Us Weekly listed his cause of death as suicide.
Plaza, who wed Baena in 2021, broke her silence in the wake of her husband’s passing via a rep statement to Us Weekly. “This is an unimaginable tragedy,” the statement read. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Perry previously paid tribute to his late friend in a lengthy Instagram post on January 8. “There will be no rematch in Scrabble — he will remain undefeated against me, and I am great at Scrabble,” he captioned a photo of the two of them. “He knew words other people didn’t. He possessed facts that were so esoteric, they couldn’t be fact checked. He had opinions that were so baffling as to be definite. He claimed to have different rods and cones, and be able to see colors others could not.”
Jinger Duggar spent more than a decade in front of the reality TV cameras and now, five years after Counting On ended, she doesn’t seem eager to go back.
Duggar, 31, and her husband Jeremy Vuolo talked about the possibility of a reality return on the January 22 episode of “The Jinger and Jeremy Podcast.” The 19 Kids and Counting alum thought about it, but admitted she wouldn’t be able to recapture the nostalgia of the past.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so,” she said. “Not right now. Not in this season of life.”
She qualified that by saying that if she were to do another reality show, it wouldn’t be “following every aspect of life,” as Vuolo, 37, put it. Duggar added, however, that she does miss “some aspects” of reality TV.
“For all those years you have the sweet memories of traveling and stuff, but it’s not all the same,” she said. “Because you wouldn’t have your same film crew, you wouldn’t have your same people you’re working with. And you’re not filming as a larger family unit so there’s lots of things that would feel so drastically different if you did a show again.”
The sixth of 19 Duggar kids in the TLC reality franchise, Jinger first rose to fame in 2008 when the show, then called 17 Kids and Counting, premiered. She later appeared in the spinoff series, Counting On, which ran from 2015 to 2020.
Now, she and Vuolo share two kids with a third due in March. Vuolo, a former professional soccer player, is now a minister. The couple cowrote a memoir titled, The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God, in 2021 and appear content in having closed the reality TV chapter of their lives.
Vuolo compared it to the end of his soccer career. Though he competed in MLS for the New York Red Bulls and then in the now-defunct NASL, he stepped away in 2014 to focus on ministry.
“It was a chapter,” he said. “It closed and I went, ‘Yeah that’s done. The Lord’s led me in a different direction.’”
He empathized with Duggar’s sentiment about it “not being the same,” adding that it’s good to have a “healthy break” from one chapter to the next.
“Otherwise, you’re constantly living in the past,” he said. “And if there’s too much nostalgia, it can lead to this depression because you’re thinking, ‘Man, I’ll never get that back,’ or ‘I’ll never have this opportunity again.’”
Sara Haines did not hold back on The View when it came to discussing her father, Dick Haines, or his conventionally attractive looks.
“My dad’s hot and I say it all the time,” Sara, 47, said during the talk show on Wednesday, January 22. Alyssa Farah Griffin replied, “Your dad is hot.”
Sara doubled down, adding, “My dad’s hot. He just is.”
The conversation came during the “Hot Topics” segment, when The View hosts brought up Jack Schlossberg’s recent X post in which he compared Usha Vance, Vice President J.D. Vance‘s wife, to his grandmother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
“True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O,” Schlossberg, 32, wrote. After receiving widespread backlash online for the post, the political correspondent continued to troll the internet.
“I’m a literal pervert. I called my grandmother hot … have I totally lost it? Jesus,” he wrote. “This kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. Time to get a job.”
Joy Behar seemed to have a lot of thoughts on the topic.
“My grandmother, Antonia, her name was, she was 60, I can’t tell that she was hot,” Behar, 82, explained. “She never took her apron off, so how would I even know how hot?”
Sara, meanwhile, didn’t think there was anything wrong with the social media message.
“Even when it’s family, you have eyes, though,” she said.
Sunny Hostin also chimed in, noting that she too has a hot dad.
“You have a hot dad,” Sara confirmed. (Hostin claimed that some of her friends “always wanted to date” her dad.)
Sara then bought the conversation back to her own father.
“My friends, my whole life talked about my hot dad,” she continued, noting that The View producer Brian Teta finds it weird. “I’m not blind. I’m not attracted to him, he’s just hot. I can see him,” she continued.
She then got into specifics, recalling a past moment with a friend.
“We were walking up to my yard and my dad was mowing the lawn and had no shirt on,” Sara recalled. “My friend Emily was like, ‘Oh my God, who’s mowing your lawn?’ And I was like, ‘That’s my dad!’”
Haines’ dad is well-known among The View fans — Dick appeared on the “Behind the Table” podcast in October 2024 to talk about his daughter.
“I envisioned a different career path [for Sara],” he admitted, noting that he and wife Sandy Haines thought Sara would become a comedian. “I laugh at some of [her jokes].”
Netflix’s W.A.G.s to Riches was about the wives, girlfriends and former partners of professional athletes and rappers — yet somehow 50 Cent‘s past legal issues due to a leaked sex tape quickly took center stage.
The lawsuit made headlines amid 50 Cent’s (real name Curtis Jackson III) feud with Lastonia “Stoni” Leviston‘s ex Rick Ross. A 13-minute video appeared online in 2009 with 50 Cent — in a wig — narrating the tape. A jury ordered the rapper in 2015 to pay $5 million to Stoni after allegedly acquiring the video from her ex-boyfriend Maurice Murray.
“This was something done to me,” she testified at the time. “I didn’t have a choice. I would never, ever do this to myself.”
Attorney William A. Brewer III said 50 Cent and his legal team were “disappointed in the verdict but very appreciative of the service of the jury and the court.” (A rep for 50 Cent didn’t respond about the resurfaced allegations in the Netflix reality show.)
“Our client intends to file post-verdict, pre-judgment motions which we believe should reduce the size of the award,” the statement to Us Weekly continued. “Ultimately, the fate of any obligation to pay a final judgment will be determined by the bankruptcy court.”
“In the height of the breakup, the beef started with Rick and 50 Cent. Long story short, my ex — the guy that was in the sex tape — he is bitter so he goes and sells the tape to 50 Cent,” she claimed in the first episode. “Then 50 Cent released it on ThisIs50. It is petty and it still haunts me to this day.”
Keep scrolling for a guide to every mention on the show of 50 Cent and the legal issues:
At Odds Because of Her Past
During the series premiere, Stoni said she thought her leaked sex tape contributed to distance between her and her costars. (W.A.G.s to Riches also stars Sharelle Rosado, Maranda Johnson, Ashley Wheeler, Alexis Welch Stoudemire, Porsha Berto, Sadé Vanessa, Keeta Hill and Julz Goddard.)
“So things happened that Rick isn’t so happy about. The sex tape,” she explained. “I was dating this guy a long, long time ago — after I ended my relationship with Rick Ross. He was into videotaping me and he didn’t even really ask. He would just pull it out. Never once in my brain did I think I would have sex with him on tape. I didn’t feel unsafe at the time. I felt like I was happy.”
Stoni revealed what led to the sex tape being exposed. “I did the tape. Things got rocky, he started cheating and I outed him to the other girl. He got upset about it. We broke up,” she continued about how the video allegedly ended up in 50 Cent’s possession.
The reality star got emotional about the “leniency” she wished was extended to her by her costars.
“I was collateral damage in a beef I had nothing to do with,” Stoni noted. “In that second, my whole life changed. The minute the tape was released, nothing was the same. I became suicidal and I didn’t want to live anymore. I felt like I was damaged goods. Like no man would ever love me again. I felt like I let my kids down tremendously.”
50 Cent, who filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2015 after the initial verdict, was ordered by a New York City jury to pay $2 million in punitive damages to Stoni. The amount was discussed multiple times on W.A.G.s to Riches.
“Allegedly, she sued 50 Cent,” Sharelle told the cameras. “If I sued 50 Cent and I got a couple of million of dollars, I am not going to be standing up under my baby daddy. I would take that money and buy my own house because as a woman, I don’t ever want to have to depend on a man. Girl, you are a whole senior citizen and nothing has changed.”
Stoni, meanwhile, defended her monetary issues, which stemmed from her attempts to open a boutique.
“I didn’t have anything given to me. The money that they said I lost was all mine,” she shared. “It wasn’t from my football boyfriend or my basketball husband. If I took it and threw it all in the toilet or if I wanted to go buy 10 cars, it was my money and I did what I wanted to do with her.”
According to The Washington Post, 50 Cent accused Ross in another lawsuit that same year of being responsible for leaking the full video online first. Ross’ lawyer called that suit a “desperate” attempt to “avoid and deflect legal and financial responsibility.”
Rumor on the Street
According to Sharelle, some of the words others used to describe Stoni include “porn star and escort.”
“What frustrates me is she has had more money than the rest of us. She won a big lawsuit from 50 Cent, and she just blew it trying to impress other people,” Sharelle said. “She hangs around the wrong people, and she’s the oldest out of all of us. It is harder to change older people. I am not going to try to waste my time and breath trying to raise a grandma.”
“They say you have an open door type of relationship. It is an arranged relationship. You got together because it looks good on paper and business wise. For looks,” Stoni claimed. “Because it is rumored that he likes to have threesomes. With other parties.”
Sharelle denied the insinuation, adding, “I don’t have time to focus on what everyone else thinks and their opinion. If I am sitting here worried about what everyone feels then I am missing out on money. … We are together. There is no arrangement.”
Sharelle and Chad called it quits once production on the show wrapped.
“I don’t [like it] — at all,” Johnson East, 33, told her spouse in an Instagram Story video uploaded on Tuesday, January 21. “It’s not anger, but it’s [disappointment].”
She continued, “He thought it was cute and it had to do with my birthday, evidently. It was my birthday present and I think he missed the mark. Just buy jewelry! I am embarrassed and sorry to say that he made a billboard — and he decided to choose a bikini picture.”
East, 33, clarified in the clip that he chose “a snorkel picture” even though the retired gymnast was wearing a two-piece swimsuit. (He further asserted the tribute was meant as “an ode to love.”)
“You put words over 90 percent of my body, but not my freaking crotch,” Johnson East explained. “If you’re a girl, you’ll be like, ‘I get it.’ What the [heck]?”
According to Johnson East, the billboard was installed “right next to Vanderbilt University” in Nashville for the entire city to see.
“So, when you go in for your prestigious education and you look over and see that, I don’t think that’s a good reflection of what Vanderbilt can give you,” Johnson East said, joking about East’s alma mater. “I’m sure Vandy is so proud! I am sorry for everything you get to see as you sit in Owen.”
East tried to soothe his wife’s concerns, mentioning that the billboard is only up for “four more weeks.”
“There’s only one more surprise,” East, a former football player, said with a laugh as Johnson East appeared startled.
Johnson East also shared an image of the billboard, which featured four pictures of her — including one where she was wearing a swimsuit — alongside the text “Shawn Johnson Is Cool [Dot] Com.”
“My husband did a thing and I can only summarize my response as, like, disappointment,” she wrote alongside her upload.
“I feel like we’re slowly getting into a routine,” Johnson East exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2024. “It was touch and go there for a while, but we’re finally settling in, which is feeling more manageable.”
She added at the time, “Honestly, the first couple weeks of three was super — it felt easy, as easy as it can be. The only hard part was he was our first kind of colicky baby. We had some things we needed to figure out, and we hadn’t dealt with that before.”
Grab your duck callers and camo gear because a Duck Dynasty revival is coming to A&E this summer.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home,” married stars Willie and Korie Robertson said in a statement on Wednesday, January 22. “We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”
The network announced on Wednesday that nearly all of the Robertsons will appear on the new series, Duck Dynasty: The Revival. Fans will get 20 one-hour episodes from the duck hunters over the course of two seasons.
In the updated series, Willie, 52, and Korie, 51, will be at the helm instead of patriarch Phil Robertson, who was not mentioned in the list of confirmed cast members.
“According to the doctors, they’re sure that he has some sort of blood disease that’s causing all kinds of problems,” his son Jase Robertson explained during an episode of their “Unashamed With the Robertson Family” podcast. “It’s accelerated and it’s causing problems with his entire body.”
Prior to his health issues, Phil raised eyebrows in 2013 when he made controversial statements during an interview with GQ that were homophobic in nature. Phil was briefly suspended from the show. However, after the family publicly said they regretted the “coarse language” he used and Phil claimed he would “never incite or encourage hate” he was reinstated.
When it comes to Duck Dynasty: The Revival, the show will follow Willie and Korie as well as their adult children and grandchildren as they continue their family’s work on their Louisiana homestead. Phil’s wife, Miss Kay Robertson, is slated to appear on the new show as is his brother, Si Robertson.
A&E also confirmed that five of Willie and Kori’s six children — John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca — will all join in on the reality show fun. Their son Rowdy isn’t listed.
“With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander, watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy,” the press release reads.
Duck Dynasty premiered in 2012 and ran for 11 seasons before going off the air in 2017. At the time, the show focused on Phil, brother Si, and three of his sons, Willie, Jase and JepRobertson as they grew their business, Duck Commander.
In time, Willie’s home life became a big focus and his children, Sadie, 27, and John Luke, 29, gained their own fame. (Sadie married Christian Huff in 2019, while her brother wed Mary Kate McEacharn in 2015.)
“The Robertson family has always been very open with their lives. Good and bad,” Willie exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2017, reflecting on the phenomenon surrounding their show. “When you’re vulnerable and say, ‘Hey, this is what we’re going through,’ that resonates.”
While the family has been off camera for nearly a decade, A&E is certain fans are still interested in their business and close-knit connection.
“The Robertsons earned a seat in homes across the country with their unique brand of downhome practicality, southern charm and relatable humor,” executive VP and head of programming for A&E and Lifetime Elaine Frontain Bryant said in a press release on Wednesday. “Duck Dynasty played a huge part of the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons on the revival.”
Duck Dynasty: The Revival will premiere on A&E sometime this summer.
Native Angeleno and Latina pop star Becky G (real name Rebecca Gomez) always has had love for her hometown, which means giving back to her community after the Wildfires devastated Los Angeles was a no-brainer. “ I’m working with This is About Humanity (an organization founded by Elsa Marie Collins, Zoe Winkler Reinis,Yolanda Selene Walther-Meade and supported by others like Eva Longoria),” she told Us Weekly. “Eva, a friend of mine, and Zoë Saldana. Whether we live here, spend a lot of time here, or, like me, were born in Los Angeles — [we] knew we had to use our platforms for something bigger. And it was so beautiful to feel that.”
Gomez has been working with local communities on the ground to help people impacted by the wildfires: “Specifically, yesterday’s work with Elsa and many others who took the time to help the community focused on our Hispanic community. Latinos are such a big part of the essence of Los Angeles. We’re very present, and often, we’re not the priority. We’re a community that cares for so many, but sometimes we don’t know how to care for ourselves or where to find that same support.”
In addition to her advocacy work, the “Arranca” singer spoke to Us about the very exciting news she received recently, becoming the most nominated female artist at the upcoming Premio Lo Nuestro awards, airing on February 20. “I’m very proud that it has reached a point where it feels like a reunion among friends and family,” she gushed. “I mean, even people behind the scenes — directors, producers, the whole production team — it feels like, “Oh, my God, we saw you at your quinceañera, and now you’re a woman, it’s so exciting”
Gomez also revealed why being nominated for her Spanish language music was so moving. “I’ve always said I’m Latina and very proudly Latina, but I wanted to show everyone that I know my roots, my blood, the history, my last name, and there’s something very powerful in that,” she said. And, obviously, as a girl born here in Los Angeles, being Chicana is sometimes a little — it’s very complex, you know? If you don’t live it, you can’t understand it. I mean, we’re very judged by our accents or for not being from here or there. And I’ve always seen my life like, OK, so where do I belong?’ Because if I’m neither from here nor there, where should I go?”
The “Sin Pijamas” singer continued: “I think I was around 15 years old (when she started working with Premio Lo Nuestro). And I didn’t feel so accepted in the world — the Latin world — and obviously, it’s because I was born here in the United States. My Spanish is very ‘pocha’ (broken), although it’s improved a lot over the years. I remember at first I felt very nervous, very anxious, and very excited, you know?”
She adds that staying connected to her cultural roots has profoundly shaped her as an artist and individual. “I feel like when you really step into spaces that allow you to be unapologetically yourself, that’s when the magic happens,” Gomez concluded while promoting her cause with the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation. “It’s not just about representing, but also about creating opportunities for others who share similar dreams.”
Tune into the Premio Lo Nuestro awards taking place in Miami on February 20th.
Patrick Mahomes admitted this weekend’s AFC Championship Game could be Travis Kelce’s Kansas City swan song.
As Mahomes, 29, and the Chiefs prepare to host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, the quarterback addressed the retirement rumors that have swirled around his tight end.
“I have no idea. He hasn’t said anything to me if he’s thinking that,” Mahomes said Tuesday, January 21 on Kansas City’s 96.5 The Fan. “I know he signed a two-year extension before the season. It seems like he still loves football. But he also has a great life, as well.”
“Either way, I just appreciate every time I step onto the field with that guy knowing that he’s a true legend of not only the Chiefs, but of the NFL,” Mahomes continued. “If it is his last game, let’s go out there and get him a win. If it’s not his last game, let’s go out and get him a win anyway.”
If the Chiefs win on Sunday, they would advance to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 9 against the winner of Sunday’s NFC Championship between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders.
Kansas City is attempting to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
During an interview with Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday, January 15, Kelce said his attitude about retirement “changes every single day.”
“I’ll re-evaluate it like I always do, and I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing, and I’ll come back next year,” Kelce continued. “It’s just something that you have to keep in perspective. I never want to get to the point where I’m not helping this team win.”
Kelce’s stats took a noticeable dip in 2024.he 10-time Pro Bowler earned 823 receiving yards in the regular season, the lowest total of his career, and just three regular season touchdowns — another career low.
However, Kelce did produce a break-out performance during the Chiefs’ Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans on Saturday, January 18, amassing 177 yards and one touchdown.
Whatever decision Kelce makes this offseason, he said he has the full support of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce told Smith, 57. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”
The Chiefs face the Bills in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 26 at 6:30 pm ET on CBS.
James Kennedy and Ally Lewber may still be in communication, but friends think the Vanderpump Rulescouple are done for good following his domestic violence arrest.
A source exclusively tells Us Weekly that Kennedy, 32, “has been telling friends that they are just taking a break,” noting that “they are still talking.” But the insider adds that “everyone around them thinks they are done and can’t come back from this.”
Us reached out to reps for comment.
News broke in December 2024 that Kennedy was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. Us confirmed at the time that police were dispatched to Kennedy’s home after receiving a call about an argument between a man and a woman. A witness allegedly saw Kennedy grabbing the woman. Officers who responded to the scene did not see any visible injuries and Kennedy was later released on $20,000 bail.
Per police records, the woman reportedly told the Burbank Police Department that “her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground.” In response, Kennedy’s legal team released a statement on his behalf.
“We are in the process of conducting our own investigation into the allegations levied by the Burbank Police Department against James,” his attorneys said in a statement to Us. “We understand that there were no injuries and we are hoping that, after careful review, the city’s attorneys will decide not to file formal charges.”
Days later, Lewber, 29, addressed the incident. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me,” she wrote via her Instagram Story in December 2024. “I’m OK and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
Following the arrest, a separate source exclusively told Us that Kennedy and Lewber are “having some distance” from each other. Us reached out to their reps at the time.
Lewber, who has been dating Kennedy since 2022, previously hinted at “new beginnings” this year while reflecting on astrology for 2025.
“This year is a transition. We are moving into new territory that we haven’t experienced ever, or in a really long time,” Lewber said via TikTok on January 12. “We’re all experiencing and co-creating a new reality together. So it’s really up to us on how we want to show up this year.”
She was later seen moving items out of their shared home on January 17.
If you or someone you know are experiencing domestic violence, please call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 for confidential support.
