Artificial intelligence is all around us, and movies about artificial intelligence have been around even longer than the technology itself — going back as far as the 1927 film Metropolis. But as AI evolves, our storytelling about it changes, too. While you’re pursuing HBO and Max this month, Watch With Us recommends checking out Companion, a hilarious horror comedy that invites us to see things from an AI’s point of view.
Companion is about Iris (SophieThatcher, Yellowjackets), a young woman who is besotted with her boyfriend Josh (Jack Quaid, The Boys) but a bit nervous about going on vacation with his friends. A few minutes into the movie, however, Iris learns that she is a companion robot from a company called Empathix, programmed to love Josh. When Josh sets Iris up to take the fall for a crime he forced her to commit, Iris seeks a way to gain control over her own programming. It’s a story about betrayal, love and control — wrapped in a bloody, robot-filled package.
Here’s why you should stream this smart, scary and thought-provoking movie.
It’s Scary, but Not Too Scary
A man kisses the neck of a woman in ‘Companion.’Warner Bros.
I’m not a horror movie person. I don’t seek out blood and gore, I hate jump scares and I still think about “The Tethered” from Jordan Peele’sUs and get chills at random moments. Psychological horror freaks me out too — I don’t usually want to think about the dark depths of the human soul. Life is scary enough!
But now and then, a horror movie —usually a horror comedy — breaks through and makes me think more about what the story means than how grossed out I am. Companion is one of those movies. Despite my trepidation, I was encouraged to watch it by a friend, and I’m so glad I did.
There’s violence and gore, but Iris is such a compelling protagonist that I found myself focusing on her journey toward self-actualization instead of the number of people she stabbed (there are a few).
The comedic performances in Companion also soften the more violent moments. Quaid is hilariously loathsome as Josh, a stereotypical “nice guy” who seethes with entitlement. Harvey Guillén (What We Do in the Shadows) and Lukas Gage (You, The White Lotus) are hilarious as another couple on the trip. (Their relationship dynamic is fascinating. I won’t spoil it by saying more.)
Overall, the storytelling in Companion is strong enough to overpower the scariness — and coming from this writer, that’s saying something.
The AI Metaphor Is Multi-Layered
Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid in ‘Companion.’Warner Bros. Pictures
Positioning Iris as the protagonist, and making her believe she’s human for the first few minutes, does something really interesting for the narrative — it frames her as the “real person” in the story and Josh as the malevolent force. Yes, Iris is a robot, but she’s also a woman, and the story serves as a metaphor for the way women are often diminished or even dehumanized in relationships.
Josh can control Iris’ level of intelligence via an app, modeling her to his exact preferences and specifications. Iris is so eager to please him that when she first learns the truth, she just wants to return to their happy relationship. “I can make you so, so happy,” she pleads.
Who among us hasn’t contorted themselves to try to be “perfect” for a significant other? Iris’ plight is eerily familiar to anyone who’s felt a partner pulling away and wondered if they could’ve been better. It’s a remarkably human sensation.
Iris also remembers having a perfect meet-cute with Josh, which is typically a hallmark of rom-coms like Notting Hill. This detail is a clever commentary on how pop culture romantic narratives shape many women’s identities and how easy it is to define oneself around a relationship.
Her status as a robot provides rich metaphorical territory when it comes to how abusive men seek to control and manipulate women — while still considering themselves the hero of the story.
You Won’t See the Twists Coming
Iris’ status as a companion is a surprise to her, but it’s inherent to the movie’s premise, so it’s not exactly a surprise to the viewer. But the story is full of unexpected turns, many of which genuinely shocked me.
As William, 42, and Kate, 43, left their joint appearance at the naming of the HMS Glasgow ship on Thursday, May 22, a waiting fan called the Princess of Wales “beautiful.” Once the individual got a glimpse of William, they added, “You too!”
William, meanwhile, jokingly downplayed the compliment.
“You don’t have to say that,” the Prince of Wales quipped in social media footage as the couple walked toward their waiting car.
William and Kate made a joint appearance at Thursday’s naming ceremony at BAE Systems’ shipyard in Scotstoun, Scotland. Kate also brought the nautical vibes with her outfit, looking pristine in a navy-and-white dress with a matching fascinator. William, for his part, opted for a classic suit.
The outing comes amid Kate’s sponsorship of the HMS Glasgow, for which she was appointed in June 2021. The boat is a state-of-the-art Type 26 anti-submarine frigate that can protect the U.K.’s nuclear deterrent and aircraft carriers. During their visit, William and Kate received a tour of the facilities and met with local employees.

Kate has steadily been returning to official duties after navigating an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024.
“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,” she wrote in a September 2024 statement, revealing that she completed her chemotherapy treatment. “With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.”
Kate had battled cancer with her family, including William and their three children, by her side. During that time, she took a step back from her public duties. The duchess confirmed earlier this year that she was in remission.
“It is a relief to now be in remission, and I remain focused on recovery,” she wrote in an Instagram statement in January. “As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.”
Plenty of Hollywood lotharios keep on grabbing headlines well into old age but, at 88, Warren Beatty leads a quiet life largely out of the spotlight — and, considering how he started out, it’s nothing short of miraculous.
For decades, Beatty was the embodiment of Hollywood charisma — a leading man whose smoldering looks, sharp intellect, and knack for both acting and directing made him one of the most fascinating figures in the entertainment industry.
From his breakout role in Splendor in the Grass (1961) to the cultural shockwave of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) to the critically acclaimed hit Bugsy (1991) — the very set where he finally found enduring love with Annette Bening — he was never far from the camera, or the headlines, even famously dating Madonna while they worked on Dick Tracy (1990) together. And yet, he’s still mostly kept pretty quiet. In a rare interview in 2016, he even denied the insane rumor that he’d slept with 12,775 women, declaring it mathematically impossible. “If you stopped and thought about it, I’m now a married person of 24 years, and I believe in doing the right thing,” he told Vanity Fair. “And I’ve never been secretive that I had a rather religious youth, and that I didn’t begin this until late — you know, the age of 20. So I would have had to have been with something like three or four people a day, and nobody twice, ever!”
Beatty now lives a remarkably low-key life with Bening, who he married in 1992, consciously stepping out of the spotlight to focus on raising their family in as normal a fashion as they could, considering their huge fame. The success and accolades Beatty earned in the first half of his incredible career have meant that, in his older years, he’s been able to pick and choose projects when he’s in the mood.
“I was lucky,” he told the Los Angeles Times in 2016. “I didn’t have to make movie after movie after movie. I could take my time. I also had a life. I got caught up in the urgencies of life. “You might say that I luxuriated in that thing that fame affords, which is access.”
Beatty’s control over his multi-hyphenate movie career (actor, writer, director … ) has allowed him to vanish whenever he wants to — and return when he has something to say. Mostly, though, these days, Hollywood’s most elusive former bachelor is basically just that nice old guy down the street who loves reading, relaxing and spending time with his loved ones. He’s clean-living too. “If you see pictures of me smoking, I was acting,” he told Vanity Fair in 2016. “What I do like very much is the smell of cigar smoke.”
The occasional cigar aside, the truth is that even at the height of his fame, Beatty never seemed entirely comfortable with the trappings of celebrity life. While his romantic entanglements with the likes of Natalie Wood, Julie Christie, Diane Keaton, and, of course, Madonna were huge sources of gossip (and, certainly, a ton of fun!) those who knew him well still described him as reserved and deeply intellectual.
It could be that the high-profile relationship with Madonna — they dated for 15 months from 1989 — ultimately made the megastar realize he preferred to keep his private life, well, a little more private. After all, in the Queen of Pop’s 1991 pre-reality-TV documentary movie, Truth or Dare, Beatty famously said, “She doesn’t want to live off-camera, much less talk. There’s nothing to say off-camera. Why would you say something if it’s off-camera? What point is there existing?”

As it turned out, his next relationship, with Bening, was a keeper, and spelled a turning point in his public persona. As the story goes, the pair met for a business lunch — at the time, he was 53, and she was 32 — to discuss Bugsy and, afterwards, he called director Barry Levinson and said “I love her, and I’m going to marry her.” He told the New York Post in 2014, “It took about 10 minutes [to fall in love with her]. Maybe five. I was so elated to meet her, and yet at the same time, I began to mourn the passing of a way of life.”
Beatty and Bening’s first child, Stephen, was born in 1992, and they got married two months later before going on to have three more children: Ben, born in 1994, Isabel, born in 1997, and Ella, born in 2000. Since his rapid transformation from playboy to family man, he’s kept his personal life away from the public eye. “I have four children and any one of them is more interesting than any 12 movies I’ve done,” he told People in 2016. “I had my life before them and my life since them.”
Ultimately, it seems as if, after all those years of partying and making movies, Beatty realized that fatherhood and family life were what he really found rewarding — especially with someone as grounded as Bening. The acclaimed star’s own mother, Shirley Bening, said Beatty was attracted to her daughter “because she doesn’t behave like an actress, she’s still herself.”
Speaking to GQ in 2016, Beatty said he’s glad he took his time to settle down. “Had I gone ahead earlier and gone through 143 divorces, I would have felt very guilty,” he said. “I think I would have handled it badly, More importantly, it wouldn’t have been these kids or this wife … I’m so much more interested in my wife and kids than anything else.”
The same year, he also told People about how much fatherhood meant to him. “That’s the biggest thing that’s ever happened to me,” he said. “And their mother. That’s bigger than fame, and it came not a moment too soon.” When picking up the Kirk Douglas Award the same year, he elaborated further. “I became a devoted husband and father 25 years ago, and I have to say they have been the most enthralling years of my life, with our four fantastic kids,” he said. He added: “We have these four, what I like to call small eastern European countries that we negotiate with, and we send ambassadors, and we negotiate, and they’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me — they, and her.”
In recent years, the pair have become empty nesters — and, after so many years devoted to family, it was quite a shift. “I think we’re both still adjusting to the quiet at home,” Bening told AARP in 2019. Beatty even said it had reignited his Hollywood ambitions. “There’s something about the empty nest that makes you say, ‘Well, maybe I should go out and make a movie!’” he told People in 2018.
However, around the same time, he also likened making movies with, well, puking. “I have sometimes compared it to vomiting,” he said on The Graham Norton Show in 2017. “I don’t like to vomit and I rarely vomit, but something builds up, you think about it for a long time, you try to avoid it, but finally you think you will feel better if you go ahead and throw up.”

When Bening appeared in Life Itself in 2018 alongside Olivia Wilde and Oscar Isaac, the couple stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance at the premiere, and Bening was happy to chat about their enduring marriage. “He’s 21 years older than I am and we’ve always been at different stages of life,” she told The London Times. “He’s got a lot of experience. But we’re very different in many ways. The crucial thing is that while we want many of the same things in life, we’ve thrived because we approach things very differently.”
Over the years, Bening has shared a few other tidbits about their marriage. On The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2022, she was asked how they celebrate Valentine’s Day. “It’s pretty no-pressure,” she said. “Valentine’s is pretty low-key. He will generally make me like a little Valentine with just a little red felt pen and make a little heart. He’s very economical in his message.” She added that one of the most successful movie stars of all time is, perhaps unsurprisingly, tough to pick gifts for. “There’s nothing to buy for him,” she said. “He’s one of those men, you cannot find anything … So, no, it’s usually something small; it’s a little note, it’s a flower.”
In 2024, Bening spoke on The Drew Barrymore Show about their deep connection. “I think marriage is like the greatest thing and greatest challenge to really make it all work and to stay together,” she said. “And that is the thing that I am so, so proud of with us.”
Although the couple still live in Los Angeles — Beatty himself designed their sprawling Mulholland Drive home — these days public appearances are rare. In fact, Beatty hasn’t been photographed in public since 2022, when he appeared at the TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood. The last movie he directed and starred in, Rules Don’t Apply, was released even longer ago, in 2016, and it attracted negative reviews and disappointing box office numbers. In fact, Beatty was even sued by his own producer for overspending on marketing.
Around this time, Beatty admitted to flirting with the idea of a career shift to politics, but in the end, he decided that making — and watching — movies about it was more appealing. “I’ve grown to think that to run for office is more like running for crucifixion,” he told People in 2016. “I will confess to having been flattered at being kicked around as a possibility, but I had seen so many close friends go through such agonies.” One such friend was John McCain — despite Beatty’s stance as a lifelong Democrat, he was close friends with the late Republican senator, and even a pallbearer at his funeral in 2018.
Beatty’s most memorable appearance in the past decade was, of course, at the 2017 Oscars, when he and his Bonnie and Clyde costar Faye Dunaway declared La La Land the winner of Best Picture when the award was supposed to go to Moonlight. It wasn’t Beatty’s fault — they were given the wrong envelope — but it’s fair to say that it probably confirmed everything he loathed about life in the spotlight. “I guess you could say it was chaos,” he said on The Graham Norton Show later that year.
More recently, in 2025, when Beatty and Bening’s youngest daughter, Ella, made her Broadway debut alongside Sarah Paulson in Appropriate, Beatty stayed home, with Bening representing the couple alone.
Despite the Hollywood legend’s low-key profile, Beatty has stayed engaged with the world in his ninth decade, reading voraciously and keeping up with the news. “He still reads the New York and Los Angeles Times and the Hollywood trade magazines,” a friend told Closer in 2025. “He’s an activist at heart so he still gets riled up about politics. He’s not the leading man anymore, but he has no regrets.”
Lily Collins, who worked with Beatty on Rules Don’t Apply, also spoke to Vanity Fair in 2016 about how the enigmatic icon stays relevant. “Warren is not his age,” she said. “He’s timeless, he’s fearless, he’s just . . . very singular. He stays up with the times because of his kids, or just because he loves what he does. There’s no one quite like him. Annette and Warren have created this amazing family who are, for all intents and purposes, ‘normal,’ and that’s a testament to how they both raised them.”
All things considered, it sounds like Beatty has lived a life of two wonderful halves: global fame and beautiful women early on, and devoted, low-key family life from his fifties onwards. And since making movies always felt like vomiting, in the end falling so instantly in love with Bening gave Beatty the great midlife transformation he didn’t know he needed.

If you want to switch to lighter products just in time for summer, make sure your routine includes this magic balm while it’s still in stock. Your skin will thank you!
Shaquille O’Neal is explaining why he abruptly answered nature’s call on live TV last month.
The former basketball player went viral in April after he quietly got out of his seat and shuffled off the set of TNT’s Inside the NBA mid-broadcast to go to the bathroom, telling his surprised cohosts, “Go ahead, keep talking.” Shaq’s sudden exit prompted cohost Kenny Smith to joke, “That’s that olive oil you’ve been drinking.”
On Thursday, May 22, Shaq, 53, was quizzed about the viral moment during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, though he wasn’t initially forthcoming with all the details.
“I was drinking a lot of water that day,” the legendary center said at first. “I know I had the number-two run, but it was really a number one.”
Just moments later, Shaq admitted lying to host Jimmy Fallon.
“I just made a mistake. I lied to you on national TV,” Shaq confessed. “It wasn’t a number-one run, it was a number-two run. I had to go so bad!”
As for the olive oil? “I’m drinking olive oil because I want to be sexy,” Shaq explained. “That’s what it said on Instagram. [It] said if you drink olive oil for 14 days, it clears stuff out, gets you a flat stomach. So I was trying it.”
Shaq’s sudden bathroom break last month caused a stir among his cohosts in the studio. “He’s been drinking olive oil to clean his gut … he’s cleaning his gut all right,” Smith said with a laugh after Shaq’s exit.
Ernie Johnson Jr. wondered, “That was a first … that wasn’t something planned, was it?” He went on to joke, “I didn’t like his gait as he left, that was not a typical walk right there.”
“Please turn his mic off,” Smith added in jest.
The following night on Inside the NBA, Shaq’s cohosts had a surprise for him when the show went on the air: a portable toilet.
It’s not the first time Shaq has shocked — or dismayed — his cohosts. Back in January, the sports analyst showed off his bare feet to his costars, eliciting strong reactions.
“Look at those nails, man,” Johnson quipped, while Smith remarked, “Your feet look like a bald eagle’s feet.”
The state of Shaq’s feet threw Charles Barkley off so much that he struggled to transition into the next segment. “I need time to say something serious, but I can’t do it right now,” he said.

This Memorial Day weekend, the place to be isn’t at the beach, a music concert or even the movie theater — it’s in your home watching HBO Max. The newly rebranded streamer has so many hit movies and shows, there’s really no need to step outside. (For health reasons, please do.)
The only problem is deciding what to watch. Some may opt for the Oscar-nominated drama The Brutalist, while others may prefer Christopher Nolan’s mind-pretzel of a movie, Inception.
Watch With Us prefers to highlight movies that are underrated and deserve some attention. This weekend’s lineup includes an unfairly maligned video game adaptation, a fascinating documentary behind one of the most successful shows of all time and a biopic that dramatizes the last days of a music mogul accused of murdering a woman.
‘Assassin’s Creed’ (2016)
Cal (Michael Fassbender) is about to be executed for murdering a pimp when he’s saved by a mysterious organization named Abstergo. They need him to retrieve an artifact known as the Apple of Eden, and the only way to do that is for him to enter a simulation called the Animus that allows him to relive his genetic memories in the distant past so he can find the artifact’s present whereabouts. But Abstergo’s intentions aren’t exactly pure, and Cal soon realizes his saviors only want to use him before disposing of him for good.
Assassin’s Creed is silly, confusing and too convoluted for its own good. It’s also immensely enjoyable if you like to watch classy actors such as Fassbender, Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Irons spout inane dialogue about secret organizations and shadowy conspiracies involving historical figures like Christopher Columbus. The plot is somehow both complex and nonexistent, but the action sequences are staged well, and Fassbender makes for a good, brainy action hero with a lethal middle finger.
Wait — they made a Game of Thronesmovie? Well, not exactly. Game of Thrones: The Last Watch is an in-depth documentary about the controversial last season of one of the best shows ever created. Why was it controversial? We won’t get into it here, but fans expected a satisfying conclusion to George R.R. Martin’s epic fantasy, and the showrunners delivered … something else.
The Last Watch, however, is immensely satisfying because it provides an all-too-rare peek behind the showbiz curtain. What’s it like to be one of the many extras in an elaborate battle scene? How do you provide costumes for hundreds of extras and keep track of who is wearing what? And what was the cast’s initial reaction when they read the final episode script? All these questions are answered throughout the documentary, which gives GoT fans the proper closure the series finale failed to provide.
Phil Spector was a legendary music producer who worked with famous musicians like The Beatles, The Ramones and Tina Turner, but he’s now remembered as a tabloid fixture who was tried and convicted for killing actress Lana Clarkson. The HBO movie, also called Phil Spector, focuses on the disgraced producer’s relationship with attorney Linda Kenney Baden (Helen Mirren), who defended him at his first murder trial.
Al Pacino plays Spector as a man delusional about his past actions and defiant about the accusations levied against him. Mirren’s attorney is sympathetic to her client but also realistic about the solid case the prosecution has put together. The movie freely dramatizes some of the facts related to the case, so Spector comes off as more sympathetic than he was in real life. But Phil Spector, which was written and directed by David Mamet, is a solid chamber piece featuring two of the best actors working today.
Miley Cyrus went to extreme lengths for her new musical film.
The “Easy Lover” singer, 32, revealed she was hospitalized with an unspecified leg infection around Thanksgiving last year after rolling around on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her latest opus, Something Beautiful. (Cyrus is set to drop her new album on May 30, followed by a musical movie featuring tracks from the record next month.)
During an appearance on the Thursday, May 22, episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Cyrus said she “caught something” while filming scenes set to the tune of “Walk of Fame,” one of the new album tracks.
“I filmed this video in October, and by November at Thanksgiving, I was put in the ICU for a moment — just for a moment,” Cyrus recalled. “My leg began to disintegrate around the kneecap area.”
Cyrus continued, “The doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’ And I just saw myself [rolling around on the Walk of Fame] and I had to tell him.”
“To have a surgeon look at you and say, ‘Yuck’ … Like, they open up cadavers, they see inside the gut of humans, and they’re looking at me telling me I’m disgusting,” Cyrus quipped.
Cyrus shared that she decided to shoot on the Walk of Fame in the middle of the night to avoid costly rental fees.
“With this movie, I had a big dream and a small budget. Well, I had a pretty good budget but I spent it all on my clothes,” the singer explained. “So then, when it came time to go to the Walk of Fame, they were like, ‘So what are you gonna do? Are you gonna rent this thing or what? ‘Cos that’s really out of your price range.’ I’m like, ‘No, we’ll just go in the middle of the night.’”
“I had a pretty traumatic experience on a show that I was doing with Lorne [Michaels] when I was doing my New Year’s show,” Cyrus said during a Wednesday, May 21, interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe. “I had a medical emergency. I had an ovarian cyst rupture.”
An ovarian cyst rupture is when a fluid-filled sac on or inside an ovary bursts open and causes severe pain and bleeding inside the pelvis, per the Mayo Clinic. At the time, Cyrus “didn’t know exactly what was going on,” so she proceeded with the show. Cyrus hosted alongside godmother Dolly Parton and performed duets with Parton, Sia and Paris Hilton.
“It was pretty traumatic because it was extremely excruciating and I did the show anyway,” Cyrus recalled. “But it was really, really hard on me.”

HBO is home to dramas like The Pitt and comedies like And Just Like That, but it’s also a great platform to watch high-quality movies.
The cable network and its streaming service, Max, excel at offering a variety of great thrillers from the past to the present that could win over the most jaded moviegoer.
From classics like The Silence of the Lambs with Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster to current releases like the unsettling Caddo Lake, there’s a thriller for every mood and temperament.
Watch With Us has compiled a list of the best thrillers on HBO and Max for you to stream right now.
Ellie (Eliza Scanlen) is vacationing with her family at Caddo Lake near the Texas/Louisiana border when her stepsister, Anna (Caroline Falk), disappears. Meanwhile, Paris (Dylan O’Brien) is investigating why his mother drove off a bridge near the lake. At first, Ellie and Paris have nothing to do with each other, but as they try to solve their mysteries, they separately realize the answer to all their problems lies in Caddo Lake.
A thriller with some sci-fi elements, Caddo Lake has a twisty plot that is almost too complex to follow. But it manages to make sense in the end, and it’s the rare thriller that’s surprisingly moving. Caddo Lake is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, so that should give you a hint about what you should expect.
Cooper (Josh Hartnett) seems like your ordinary, everyday guy. A firefighter and devoted dad, he takes his daughter, Riley (Ariel Donoghue), to a pop concert in Philadelphia. Something’s slightly off about the whole thing, though, and he discovers that it’s an elaborate ploy by the FBI to catch a serial killer named “The Butcher.” That’s a big problem for Cooper because he’s The Butcher, and he’ll do anything to keep his double life a secret.
Director M. Night Shyamalan takes his irresistible premise and runs with it throughout Trap, placing Cooper in one tense situation after another as he tries to find a way to escape the intricate trap the authorities have set for him. Hartnett is effective as the charismatic killer, who always tries to do what’s best for his kid, even when he’s trying to kill people to get away. Coop may be a killer, but no one can convict him of being a bad dad.
Asger Holm (Jakob Cedergren) is a disgraced police officer assigned to work a late-night shift answering emergency phone calls. One night, he receives a bizarre call from a woman, who gradually reveals she’s been abducted and is in a white van. The call ends, but so begins a terrifying night as Asger tries desperately to find the woman and save her before it’s too late.
Remade 3 years later with Jake Gyllenhaal, the original is better in almost every way. Director Gustav Möller expertly interweaves the central mystery of the missing woman with the gradual revelations about Ager’s personal life, which plays a big part in the film’s climax. The Guilty is a terrific thriller about how one man’s heroic actions force him to come to terms with his less-than-heroic past.
In 1890s New England, Ephraim Winslow (Robert Pattinson) arrives at an isolated lighthouse for what’s supposed to be a short stint as a “wickie” before leaving. But the days seem endless due to the harsh weather and harsher supervision by Thomas Wake (Willem Dafoe), who orders him to do menial tasks. Soon, the two men are at war with one another, and Winslow’s sanity begins to unravel. Will the two men kill each other? Or will the raging sea drown them before they even have a chance?
Robert Eggers (Nosferatu) specializes in atmospheric, esoteric nightmares, and The Lighthouse is arguably his best attempt at conveying an ancient, almost mystical sense of fear and dread. He also crafts a tense thriller by effectively exploiting his single location — the titular lighthouse — and letting his two talented actors let their freak flags fly. The Lighthouse is a beautiful nightmare, one that you won’t want to wake up from anytime soon.
Lou (Kristen Stewart) is wasting her life in a small New Mexico town until bodybuilder Jackie (Katy O’Brien) walks into her gym one day. The two begin a passionate love affair, but their dreams of running away to Las Vegas together are sidelined when Lou becomes involved in a family affair that leaves one person dead. With the cops closing in and Lou’s crime boss father (Ed Harris) angry that his criminal empire could be exposed, the two lovers must think fast before time runs out for both of them.
Directed by Rose Glass, Love Lies Bleeding is a superb crime noir movie with a thrilling plot line that is never predictable. Stewart and O’Brien are believable as an odd couple who risk everything to be with one another, and Harris gets some nice moments to shine as a father who loves his daughter, but loves his illegal business even more. There’s a “WTF?” moment at the end that is never explained, but that only enhances the movie’s weird, gonzo appeal.
Before there was “I see dead people,” there was “Who is Keyser Söze?” By the end of the ‘90s, pretty much everyone knew the answer to that question, but modern audiences may be unaware of the real identity of one of cinema’s greatest masterminds. After a fire on a ship leaves 27 people dead, U.S. customs agent Dave Kujan (Chazz Palminteri) is looking for answers, and only Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey) can provide them. But can Dave trust Verbal’s confession, which involves an elaborate story involving a band of criminals blackmailed to destroy a ship full of cocaine?
We’re not revealing anything except that The Usual Suspects still packs a punch after all these years. It helps that the case, which features a young Benicio Del Toro and the Oscar-winning Spacey, is so good, and that the screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie is so clever. Even if you know who Söze really is, it’s still a pleasure to watch The Usual Suspects and surrender to its crime-movie charms.
Jonathan Demme’s masterful thriller creeped people out in 1991 and is still scary today, but its real power lies in the oddly intimate relationship between Jodie Foster’s Clarice Starling and Anthony Hopkins’ Hannibal Lecter. She needs his help to capture Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine), a serial killer who likes to wear the skin of his victims. But Lecter’s help comes with a price — he wants to know everything about Clarice, including the traumatic event that still haunts her. Can Clarice trust a sociopathic serial killer to end Buffalo Bill's reign of terror for good?
Hopkins is only on screen for 16 minutes in The Silence of the Lambs, but he dominates the movie with his seductive, sophisticated monster. Foster has a trickier role, but she turns her character’s vulnerability into an asset. Tiny in stature and underestimated by her male coworkers, Clarice is the only one smart enough to piece together clues that lead to Buffalo Bill. The movie is one of the best thrillers ever made and fully deserved its five Oscars.
Justin Bieber is showing his support for Chris Brown after the latter’s recent arrest in the U.K.
“Welcome home,” Bieber, 31, commented on Brown’s Thursday, May 22, Instagram post showing the “Forever” singer exiting a private jet. Brown captioned the shot, “Cook, remain humble. ”
Brown also received support from rapper Sexyy Red, who commented, “They freed my man .”
Brown was released on £6.7 million bail on Wednesday, May 21, a week after his arrest in Manchester, England, in connection with an alleged 2023 London nightclub assault.
The singer, 36, was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm on May 15 after flying into Manchester. He is accused of attacking music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle at a London nightclub in February 2023, per BBC News.
“We have authorised the Metropolitan Police to charge Chris Brown with one count of grievous bodily harm, contrary to section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861,” said prosecutor Adele Kelly in a statement.
Kelly added “criminal proceedings against this defendant are active” and “he has the right to a fair trial,” per BBC News.
“We can confirm that Chris Brown was involved in an incident with our client, and the injuries sustained are serious. We are pursuing all legal remedies to hold him accountable. At this time, we will let the facts speak for themselves through the proper legal channels,” Diaw’s attorney Ryan J. Daneshrad told TMZ at the time.
On Wednesday, Brown shared an Instagram Story after being granted bail, writing, “FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!!”
Brown is set to launch his Breezy Bowl XX tour in Europe on June 8. He is expected to make another court appearance in the U.K. on June 20, between concert dates in Cardiff, Wales, and London.
Bieber has previously expressed his admiration for Brown via social media, including a May 2019 Instagram post praising him as a combination of legendary musicians Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur.
“Everyone wants to wait til people die to give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time,” Bieber wrote. “Trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent … you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial.”
The Dance Moms alum, 22, shared with People in an interview published Thursday, May 22, that her team “discouraged” her from signing up for the popular reality show, but she ultimately went with her gut.
“It’s funny because going into the experience, nobody on my team wanted me to do it and everyone tried to discourage me from doing it,” Siwa told the outlet.
“But for some reason, I was really set on doing it,” she continued. “Right before I went in, the last thing I told my mom is, I said, ‘Mom, I think this is going to be the best thing I’ve ever done in my life.’ And I wasn’t speaking about my career, I was speaking about my life and I think I was accurate on that.”
Siwa struck up a close friendship with former Love Island UK contestant Chris Hughes, 32, in the Celebrity Big Brother house, and in the weeks since the show ended, the costars have ignited speculation of a romance. (Siwa broke up with her girlfriend, Kath Ebbs, after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother UK.)
Photos obtained and published by The Sun on Thursday show Siwa and Hughes sharing a kiss on a pool floatie at an adults-only hotel in Mexico. Hughes appeared to hold a drink in his hand as he leaned in toward Siwa. (Us Weekly reached out to Siwa and Hughes’ reps for comment on Thursday.)

The kissing pic came shortly after Siwa and Hughes fueled relationship speculation by sharing several photos of each other via Instagram. “This years birthday week was more magical than anything,” Siwa captioned a carousel of photos on Wednesday, May 21, many of which featured her and Hughes looking loved-up.
She continued, “Full of surprises, family time, performing, chilling, laughing, loving, smiling, and good meaningful cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing a week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
Siwa’s snaps included one in which she and Hughes hold hands, as well as photos of them sharing breakfast, cuddling on a couch together and Hughes placing his hand on her leg.
In an Instagram post of his own, Hughes shared a pic of he and Siwa hanging out in a pool. “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.. ,” he captioned the Tuesday, May 20, post, which featured more snaps of Hughes with Siwa and her family.
Siwa and Hughes previously described their friendship as strictly “platonic” in an interview on the U.K.’s This Morning talk show.
Earlier this month, the “Karma” singer reiterated that she and Hughes were strictly friends in her Us Weekly digital cover interview. “We still speak all the time, obviously, naturally,” she shared. “No, to be out of the house, we just exist, and it is what it is. We’re happy, and we have each other. It’s a great little special friendship that we have.”
Chrissy Teigen has appeared on social media with a bandaged-up face.
In an Instagram Live uploaded via her account on Thursday, May 22, Teigen, 39, could be seen with bandages around her head and a swollen face while resting on what looked like a hospital bed.
While it’s unclear what type of procedure she may have been undergoing, fans expressed concerns in the comments during the Instagram Live.
“You okay?” one asked, while another commented, “Surgery face, oh girl.”
Teigen has previously been an open book in the past when it comes to her decision to partake in cosmetic surgery.
Speaking to Glamour UK in March 2020, the cookbook author shared details of why she opted for a breast augmentation surgery at about 20 years old to further her modeling career.
“It was more for a swimsuit thing,” the Sports Illustrated model told the outlet at the time. “I thought, if I’m going to be posing, laid on my back, I want them to be perky!”
Teigen noted that having children made her think differently about her implants. (Teigen and husband John Legend share daughter Luna, 9, son Miles, 7, daughter Esti, 2, and son Wren, 1.)
“Then you have babies and they fill up with milk and deflate and now I am screwed,” she added.

Teigen also touched on her breast augmentation during a January 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen when she shared she’s had “three boob jobs.”
“I’ve had a lift, a put-in, a take-them-out. I don’t like them out,” she said.
Teigen has recently been candid about other health experiences she’s had throughout her life, most recently revealing her relationship with sobriety and alcohol.
Earlier this month, Teigen shared she had a “relapse” after cutting alcohol out of her life in 2017 and then again in 2020.
Posting via Instagram on May 15, Teigen wrote that she felt like she had let people down after letting alcohol “back into my life.”
“The truth is, I don’t know what I’m doing. I one hundred percent know I like me better sober,” she wrote in the lengthy and candid caption. “I one hundred percent know I get more done, I absolutely feel better in my body without it. And I am one hundred percent pissed that I can’t be normal and have a cocktail with my husband on vacay without it turning into 8 and feeling like sh**.”
As we age, collagen production slows down, which can make skin look dull, dry and tired. Even if you have a consistent skincare routine packed with serums and anti-aging treatments, you need a product that stimulates collagen and protects the skin barrier. Enter: the OneSkin Face Topical Supplement.
What sets the moisturizer apart is the proprietary OS-01 Senescence Blocking Peptide. As the brand explains, this is the first peptide scientifically proven to ‘reverse skin aging at the cellular level.’ It also contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, allantoin and andiroba oil to achieve a plumper, firmer and brighter complexion.
This combination of ingredients improves skin texture, soothes irritated skin, promotes collagen production and supports epidermal regeneration for a revived, youthful complexion. Is there anything this moisturizer can’t do?
The moisturizer is simple to add to your skincare routine. For optional results, dispense one to two pumps onto your fingers and gently massage it into clean skin.
Reviewers of all ages and skin types praise OneSkin’s formula.
“I stopped using retinol, which caused me to have rough, red patches, but kept my skin supple and smooth…and now using OneSkin, I still have the wrinkle reduction effects and smooth skin without the negative effects,” one shopper said.
“I love this science-backed product,” another shared. “It truly makes a difference to my skin and has allowed me to pare down all the other lotions, potions, and products that were more reactive in nature vs this proactive approach. Not only have I saved money on my skincare routine, but I’ve witnessed even skin tone, more elasticity, and a reduction in forehead wrinkles.”
“It’s working great!!! It absorbs quickly,” a final reviewer raved. “I see and feel a significant difference in my skin’s texture and radiance. My skin looks smoother and feels firmer. I highly recommend it for anyone serious about maintaining youthful, healthy glowing skin.”
If you need to upgrade your skincare routine, make sure to snag the Face Topical Supplement. Though it’s a bit pricey, coming in at $120 (or $99 if you subscribe and save), the impressive results mean no more testing drugstore formulas to find what works. Your skin will thank you from the first use.
Even better, the brand is offering a Memorial Day weekend deal. You’ll score one free travel size item when you spend $125. Healthy, youthful-looking skin, awaits!
Zachary Levi is aware he’s ruffled some feathers by making controversial comments over the years.
In a new interview with Variety that was published on Thursday, May 22, the actor opened up about the professional fallout he’s experienced after publicly expressing his thoughts on topics such as President Trump and COVID-19 vaccines.
“I know that there are people that would prefer not to work with me now because of my opinions. My team has let me know,” Levi, 44, told the outlet.
He added: “They haven’t given me any specific names, but there are people who prefer not to work with me at this time. And it’s unfortunate. I knew that was probably going to happen. I didn’t make this decision blindly or casually.”
Last year, Levi’s former Broadway costar, Laura Benanti, expressed her dislike of the actor during an episode of “That’s a Gay Ass Podcast.”
“I never liked him,” Benanti, 45, said while appearing on the podcast in December 2024.
She recalled, “‘Everyone was like, ‘He’s so great!’ And I was like, ‘No, he’s not.’ He’s sucking up all the f***ing energy in this room.”
Benanti further claimed that Levi wanted to “mansplain everybody’s part to them” while they were members of the same cast.

The actress alleged Levi tried to get their She Loves Me castmates to have dance parties before each show, which she never enjoyed. (Benanti played Amalia Balash in the 2016 production while Levi portrayed Georg Nowach.)
“He really sucked everybody in with his, like, dance party energy. Like, ‘We’re doing a dance party at half-hour,’” Benanti remembered. “I was like, ‘Good luck. Have fun.’”
Benati also took issue with Levi’s comments about the death of their late She Loves Me costar Gavin Creel.
In September 2024, Levi made headlines when he claimed Creel’s death was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.
“To use his memory for his political agenda and to watch him try to make himself cry until he had one single tear, which he did not wipe away, I was like, ‘F*** you forever,’” Benanti during the podcast as she referenced Levi’s comments about Creel.
Us Weekly confirmed in September 2024 that Creel died at the age of 48. The Tony Award winner’s cause of death was metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma. Creel was diagnosed with the very rare form of cancer in July, a mere two months prior to his passing.
Machine Gun Kelly has given his followers a peek at his baby daughter, eight weeks after he and ex Megan Fox welcomed her into the world.
The musician (real name Colson Baker) shared a new photo via his Instagram on Thursday, May 22.
In the photo, MGK, 35, was in ultimate dad-mode as he posed with his baby girl strapped to his chest in a baby carrier. In the selfie taken in the reflection of a car, MGK managed to keep his daughter’s face hidden while sharing a glimpse of the baby with his fans.
“Stop what you’re doing. These pictures are v important,” the “Lonely Road” singer captioned the post.
The post comes one day after Fox, 39, posted about their daughter via her own Instagram account, revealing it was an “unplanned” pregnancy.
“38 years old six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise),” she captioned an Instagram Story video on Wednesday, May 21. “Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings.”
She continued, “We do not have an expiration date. Don’t let them rob you of your power.”
Machine Gun Kelly.(Photo courtesy of Machine Gun Kelly/Instagram(
MGK shared the news in March that he and Fox had welcomed their daughter, announcing via Instagram, “She’s finally here!!”
In the caption of the Instagram post, he referred to their daughter as “Our little celestial seed.” Following confusion from fans MGK was later forced to clarify that they did not name their daughter “celestial seed.”
Fox announced her pregnancy in November 2024 after opening up about suffering a past miscarriage. “Nothing is ever really lost,” she captioned an Instagram post at the time. “Welcome back .”
In the first photo, a naked Fox cradled her baby bump while covered in what appeared to be black paint, tagging MGK on her belly. A second picture featured her positive pregnancy test.
The Transformers star and MGK met in 2020 on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass and their relationship had its ups and downs over the years. The former couple became engaged by 2022 but called it quits in late 2024.
Despite sharing a child together, Fox and MGK are “absolutely not getting back together at this point in time,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month.
Fox also shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 8, with ex Brian Austin Green. For his part, MGK and ex Emma Cannon share 15-year-old daughter Casie.

Farmer Wants a Wife’s third season has come to a close — and at least one couple is still going strong.
Warning: Spoilers below for the season 3 finale of Farmer Wants a Wife.
During the season 3 finale of the hit Fox series, which aired Thursday, May 22, all four farmers were asked to make a choice between their final two women. While drama sprouted from certain decisions, it was smooth sailing for John Sansone, who ultimately chose Claire Dirette over Lily Ayres.
“Claire and Lily and I, leading up to [the final decision], had been knowing what this [show] was and knowing what we were all in for,” John, 25, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the finale. “I was trying to keep the camaraderie as strong as possible throughout it. I would’ve been shocked if Lily or Claire in a different situation had just blown up on me.”
John and Claire walked into the sunset unscathed, but the couple confessed that their initial meeting was far from spectacular. Their attraction, it turns out, came as a surprise to both of them as the season progressed.
“I didn’t have a first impression of Claire personally at all,” John confessed. “Afterwards we have these things called OTFs, which [are] on-the-fly interviews about each and every date. And after the speed dates in Alabama, I remember saying to the camera something like, ‘Yeah, Claire was a great girl. She seemed very sweet and nice and soft-spoken, but the date was just kind of dull.’”
Claire, for her part, recalled being “extremely nervous and anxious” about being on the show, which affected how she presented herself.
“I don’t remember our first conversation by any means. So I had no first impression of John at all,” she told Us, noting that she was on “autopilot” at the start of the season.
FOX
While John said he “immediately” noticed how well Claire got along with the other women — something that made him want to “keep her around” — it wasn’t until the pair got more comfortable together that things took a romantic turn.
He told Us, “Toward the end [of the season everybody started to loosen up more and get more casual and just started basically being themselves and not worrying about all the cameras and all that nonsense, so that’s when I think I really started to like Claire and really started to get along with her into a level that would stem to a relationship.”
Claire echoed John’s sentiment, admitting there were times she thought she might need to “leave” — “I can’t be here, this is too hard,” she recalled thinking — before bonding with John and the other women changed her mind.
“It did kind of quickly change as soon as I got close with the girls. And then John made it easy on me too,” she continued, pointing to the show’s Nashville mixer, which all four of the farmers and their contestants attended, as a big turning point.
“I had to pull him for a conversation and I was super anxious, like, I couldn’t really get a word out, and he just made it really lighthearted and joked around,” she recalled. “I think that really helped me just loosen and open up and be more myself.”
After John picked Claire for a solo date toward the end of the season, the twosome realized they had different values. Being opposites, however, only brought them closer together as John appreciated learning from someone with an alternate point of view.
John Sansone, Claire DiretteFOX
“I think that’s a very beneficial thing to have in any relationship,” John said. “Personally, I’m not a big fan of echo chambers. I can’t stand them. I gotta get away from them. So, I think it’s pretty interesting and fun to go through this with somebody who has a different outlook on certain things in life.”
Some differences, of course, were slightly bigger obstacles than others. John’s desire to marry someone who stays home with the kids didn’t fully line up with Claire’s life plans, but it wasn’t something she worried too much about.
“I guess I wasn’t super surprised that he felt that way,” she told Us. “And I mean, I don’t think it was anything I was immediately, adamantly against. I’m happy to learn from him and I think he learns from me. And that’s one really strong point we have is our ability to communicate. So any difference or problem that we’ve had, we’ve been able to talk through. And I think that I would be surprised if there was something that we couldn’t figure out and talk through in the future.”
Claire’s mom, on the other hand, was more taken aback by John’s traditional outlook, asking him during the finale what he felt women “are for.” Thankfully, the duo were able to have a respectful exchange — but that didn’t mean John wasn’t anxious going into it.
“I was insanely nervous. Her mom is a decorated college professor who does public speaking events and a very strong woman and very set in her ways,” he explained. “It was pretty interesting and nerve-racking to talk to her. But I think it was very cool that we were able to just talk through stuff and just learn each other’s outlooks and perspectives and have a friendly conversation and just talk about our differences. I think that was really neat and something that a lot of people should take a note from that old notebook.”
So, where do John and Claire stand now? Us is pleased to report the two are still happily together and currently spending some time in Chicago — “I’m extremely uncomfortable and I wanna leave, I want my mom to pick me up,” John joked of the location change — and are focused on taking it “day by day.”
That means while they are loving spending time together, a permanent move for Claire to the farm isn’t in the cards quite yet.
“[We’re] not putting any pressure on ourselves. I think that’s why we have such a strong relationship,” John revealed. “We’re not trying to force anything or put all these dates or timelines or plans on us, because that’s just gonna build a lot of unnecessary pressure for us right now. We’re still in the very early stages of the relationship.
We’re both very young. We’re just gonna keep riding this out and see how it goes.”
As for those “differing” values, John said they’ve had “those conversations” and they always “go over very well,” but it’s nothing they’re stressing out over right now.
“That’s just one of those things that’s, like, way too big of unnecessary pressure walking in,” he said, while Claire added, “I think every time we’ve had a difficult conversation or something more serious, we’ve been better afterwards.”
With the show behind them, John and Claire are looking toward the future and taking what they’ve learned with them.
“I’m so glad I did that because it was kind of, like, free therapy all the time when you’re sitting and talking to the camera and the producer is asking you questions. Even doing that you learn a lot about yourself,” Claire said. “So I was really grateful for the entire experience.”
John also has no regrets and said putting himself in “uncomfortable situations” is the “absolute best way to grow.”
“The coolest thing that I learned is just how easy it is to actually just talk to people with different views and values,” he told Us. “Not only Claire, but people in production, other people on different farms and all that stuff. As long as you just go into it with a good attitude and recognizing that that’s just another human being on the other side of the conversation, then you know you’re gonna go far in life.”
Farmer Wants a Wife is available to stream on Hulu.
“I think we should address what people have been saying about us,” Reynolds, 48, kicked off the FX show’s latest episode, which premiered on Thursday, May 22. “You know, the Disney thing.”
McElhenney, 48, explained that “people in the U.K. and all over the world” have started referring to their Wrexham soccer team as “Disney FC,” referring to Welcome to Wrexham being on FX (which is owned by Disney). Not to mention, McElhenney’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia airs on the same network and Reynolds’ Deadpool franchise falls under the Disney umbrella.
“We get it, there’s similarities. We like parades, we like fans, we like costumed characters, merch, I could go on,” Reynolds said. McElhenney added, “I’m going to be dead honest with all of you, I wanted with all of my heart to hate Disneyland.”
McElhenney admitted to being “transported like a child to the happiest place on Earth,” and goes every year for his birthday. He also had some choice words for those Disney FC critics.
“We invite you all to come experience that magic with us through the tale of Disney FC,” he said. “The rest of you jaded pricks can go f*** your f***ing selves.”
Wrexham falls into another major Disney category: happily ever after.
For those not keeping up, McElhenney and Reynolds bought a losing Wrexham AFC in 2020 with the hopes of turning it into a Premier League team. Over the past four seasons, the actors have created a winning squad that made history earlier this year after being promoted to a higher league for the third year in a row. This is, basically, unheard of.
Despite the highs and lows, the wins and losses, Wrexham is always coming out on top. A happily ever after indeed.
As the rest of this week’s Welcome to Wrexham continued, McElhenney and Reynolds took the Disney FC bit about as far as they could. The episode did, indeed, come to an end with CGI fireworks over the Wrexham stadium and Tinker Bell waving her magic wand.
New episodes of Welcome to Wrexham premiere on FX Thursdays at 9 p.m. and are streaming via Hulu the following day.
Fellowes died in July 2024 at age 82 from “undisclosed causes”, leaving behind a £1.5 million (USD$2 million) fortune. According to a Hello! article published on Wednesday, May 21, court documents showed that most of the assets left behind was left to his widow, Baroness Fellowes.
According to the outlet, the will stated that Baroness Fellowes would receive her late husband’s possessions and income from his estate. There was also an inclusion that requested the estate support the wider family, which includes the couple’s son Alexander, 42, and two daughters, Laura, 44, and Eleanor, 38. Friends and local charities were also beneficiaries and received small cash gifts or donations.
Per the outlet, Prince Harry, 40, and Prince William, 42, both did not receive anything from their late uncle in the will, which was made in June 2012.
Us Weekly has reached out to Harry and William for comment.
Fellowes was their mother Princess Diana’s brother and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s private secretary from 1990 to 1999.
Harry and William both attended their uncle’s funeral in August last year, but according to reports, the two kept their distance from each other amid their ongoing feud.
According to The Sun in August 2024, a family friend said they were “very happy to confirm both princes were there,” but that the brothers did not sit near each other.
A separate source told The Sun that “William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance.”

The brothers have been in a state of discord reportedly since 2016, which escalated when Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, announced their exit from royal duties in 2020.
Following their departure from the royal family, Harry and Meghan poured fuel on the fire by publicly airing their grievances against family members in a bombshell tell-all interview on CBS in 2021.
Harry elaborated further on his family issues when he released his memoir, Spare, in 2023.
As well as having issues with brother William, Harry confirmed that his father, Prince Charles, 76, “won’t speak to him” amid the drama.
“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” Harry told the BBC earlier this month. “But I’ve forgiven them.”
During the interview, Harry commented on his father’s mortality and expressed a desire to make up. (Charles was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024.)
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” Harry said. “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
