Stephen “tWitch” Boss’ mom, Connie Boss Alexander, is breaking her silence one day after her late son’s wife, Allison Holker, included personal details about his life in her upcoming memoir.
“Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss,” Boss Alexander wrote via Instagram on Thursday, January 9. “The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”
Boss Alexander explained that she had “remained quiet and away from the public eye to protect my family” for the past two years.
“My primary focus has been on healing and attempting to remain connected to my grandchildren,” she continued. “But when I read these dreadful claims about my baby, our beloved Stephen, I realized I could not stay silent any longer. Our family will ensure his name and memory are protected, and we are committed to defending his honor.”
The statement was signed with her name, “Connie Boss Alexander.”
In the comments section of the post, former Ellen DeGeneres Show producer Andy Lassner replied, “Sending you so much love.” Us Weekly reached out to Holker’s rep for comment.
Holker received backlash after a Tuesday, January 7, interview about her late husband and her upcoming memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, in which she discussed his alleged drug issues and childhood sexual abuse. Boss died by suicide in December 2022 at age 40.
Holker, for her part, released a statement explaining her reasoning behind sharing intimate details in her book.
“To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” Holker wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday. “Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”
Holker added that she hopes readers will be able to see she intended to “celebrate the love and life” she and Boss had with their family. (Holker and Boss shared daughter Zaia, 5, and son Maddox, 8. He was the adoptive father of Holker’s eldest daughter, Wesley, 16.)
“I hope that by sharing our full story maybe I can help someone else who might see themselves or a loved one in Stephen,” Holker continued. “In sharing I hope that maybe they can catch some of the red flags that I missed before it’s too late.”
Holker also claimed that she spoke with several mental health nonprofits over the past “two years” to ensure she accurately detailed the subject. She plans to give proceeds from the memoir to the foundation she created in Boss’ memory.
“My hope is that that we won’t need to lose another husband, brother, father, or friend to suicide,” she said. “I believe that if Stephen were able to choose, he would choose to have his story told if it meant saving even one life. Much love to all those who have supported our family these many years.”

Pamela Andersonhas been slaying rich mom style this winter! First, she wore a tailored and timeless winter coat that’s a must-have for any closet. Now, she’s showing Us how to do elegant cozy loungewear — and we found a similar version of her look for just $40!
The 57-year-old actress and model was just spotted arriving at the SiriusXM office in New York City on January 8, 2025. Pulling off the cozy-chic rich mom aesthetic, she wore a simple matching set that consisted of a cream button-up cardigan, some wide leg pants and some black pointed-toe boots. While we’re inspired by her full Chanel look, what we’re not so thrilled by is the high-end price point. Thankfully, we can still get her style with this lookalike version on Amazon for just $40!
Get the Merokeety 2 Piece Waffle Knit Sweater Set (Originally $50) on sale for just $40 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication, January 9, 2025, but are subject to change.
Channel Anderson’s rich mom winter style in the Merokeety 2 Piece Waffle Knit Sweater Set. Similar to the I Love You: Recipes from the Heart cookbook author’s pick, this two piece set features a v-neck cardigan and wide leg pants. They also similarly have a front button design and relaxed fit. It’s made of a PBT, viscose, acrylic and polyamide fabric blend, which makes it soft, stretchy and durable too. This also means it can be machine washed, however, the brand recommends washing it in cold water on a delicate cycle to keep it in its true shape.
What we love about this set is that it has a slightly more wearable design that can be used beyond just one occasion! It also has ribbed details on the hems and wrists, which better help to keep cool air out — perfect in the winter! You can get it in Anderson’s color pick of cream, but it also comes in several other options as well like navy, green and black too. Find it in sizes XS to XL.
Anderson’s look proved that this look can go beyond just wearing while on the couch, it can be elevated too! If you’re really feeling daring, you can dress this set up with some booties and statement jewelry for a casual lunch with friends. However, it can be used more casually as well, like for running errands or a movie night with the fam. Bonus: it can easily be mixed and matched with the rest of your closet throughout other seasons, like pairing the pants with a tank and sandals in the summer and the cardigan with a skirt and heels in the spring.
Needing a new matching set but want it in a different design? Or maybe you’d prefer something more lightweight? We’ve got you! We’ve rounded up a few more Anderson-inspired options below so you can find the one that’s best for your closet!
“A month after having my second baby, I hit a breaking point,” Trainor, 31, wrote in an essay for Today published on Thursday, January 9. “I’ll never forget it, it’s like it was yesterday — I’m sweating, just thinking about it. I was holding Barry, my newborn, and he was crying and crying. My husband was with our toddler, Riley, putting him to bed, so I was alone with Barry and he would not stop crying and then I was crying.”
She added, “I was having a panic attack and I was just over-exhausted, but I felt like I was dying. I felt if I stood up, I would pass out. I didn’t feel safe holding the baby and at the same time I felt like my body was giving up on me.”
Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, welcomed sons Riley and Barry in 2021 and 2023, respectively. Shortly after Barry’s arrival, the singer was aware that something felt different.
“I said to my husband, ‘Daryl, I need help.’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I’m here, no worries.’ And I said, ‘No, no, no, something’s wrong. I need you to take the baby and I need to make some calls. I need to call my mom. I need to call a doctor. I need help,’” Trainor recalled. “So I called everyone. I knew I would get through it, but I needed to hear from my support team that I would get through it. My doctor wrote me a prescription for a medication that would help me that night. I took it and I felt much better.”
Trainor had previously been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder after eldest son Riley was born.
“It was months after the birth and I was having nightmares that I was still on the surgical table and I could feel the doctor’s hands inside of me,” she said, referring to her C-section delivery. “She said, ‘Right, so this is a form of PTSD and we’re going to have to talk through this and get through this.’”
Trainor previously struggled with her mental health while she was growing up.
“I was on antidepressants before I had kids. I’m kind of grateful that I had mental health issues before going into pregnancy,” she wrote in Thursday’s essay. “I had already figured out how my brain works. Going into pregnancy, I knew I would need to ask for help and be prepared.”
With her doctors’ recommendations, Trainor continued taking her antidepressant medication throughout both pregnancies.
“In the hospital, a lot of the nurses would look at me and say, ‘Oh, it’s probably because of your antidepressants.’ My doctors and my psychiatrist reassured me that wasn’t true.” Trainor added. “But then, during my second pregnancy, every day I was questioning myself, ‘Was that why Riley went to the NICU?’ I felt crazy. But I, again, stayed on my antidepressants the whole time, and my second baby was also born via C-section and came out crying — perfect.”
After struggling with postpartum changes the first time, Trainor knew to ask for help when Barry arrived.
“My husband and I communicate about everything, even if it’s ruthless and honest,” she stressed. “I told him that during our first postpartum experience, getting up equally as much as he didn’t feel fair because I was recovering from a major surgery. I said, ‘I never told you, but I definitely resented you while you were sleeping and I was pumping and in pain.’ So for our second baby, he got up all night, every night, with Barry, and fed him formula.”

Kylie Kelce did not expect to be appearing alongside her husband, Jason Kelce, on his very own late-night talk show.
Kylie, 32, reacted to fan comments about her debut on They Call It Late Night With Jason Kelce on the Thursday, January 9, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, one of which read, “Kylie always looks like she has no idea how she got roped into the next thing,’ like, ‘Damn it, I did not want to do this.’” The comment sparked Kylie to begin a new segment on her podcast dubbed “Places Kylie Has No Business Being.”
“Getting ‘roped into’ this is the perfect way to express how I ended up as the announcer for this,” she joked. “My husband asked me to participate, and being the supportive wife that I am, I said yes, hesitantly.”
She went on to note that she “did not know” that a “Kylie’s Korner” poster would be hanging from her commentary box. “I do appreciate that because you guys know how I love to hide in a corner,” she quipped. “Although it’s not really hiding when you have spotlights and a camera on you. So, I might need to discuss that with someone.”
They Call It Late Night premiered on ESPN on Saturday, January 3. During the episode, Kylie hilariously read a disclaimer to young viewers, warning them that “this evening’s program is intended for mature audiences. Young viewers, such as your children, may hear language that is inappropriate for them.”
Kylie and Jason, 37, wed in 2018 and share daughters Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 22 months, and are currently expecting their fourth baby girl.
On Thursday’s podcast, another fan asked in a comment if Kylie was nervous to make her late-night debut, to which she said she was not. “I do find it [similar] to our wedding day when I was nervous about walking down the aisle because everyone’s eyes were going to be on me, and then the minute I could see Jason, I was like, ‘Oh, I’m fine. I can get down the aisle. I’ll just focus on him,’” she explained.
Kylie said she had a similar feeling watching her husband host the show. “He is the main focus, and all of that, and he’s crushing it, I didn’t need to get nervous,” she stated. “I had very few lines, luckily. Love that for me. And I also did PA in college for men’s lacrosse games, so I had a little bit of experience.”
While Kylie is keeping busy with her podcast and her They Call It Late Night gig, she recently clapped back at online trolls who stated they’re “tired” of her projects. “A while ago, I had talked to my producers, like, ‘Do we do a segment on algorithms and explain to people that if you engage with the content and if you write my name and s—, you’re just going to keep getting me on your timeline?’” she joked on the January 2 episode of “Not Gonna Lie.”
Kylie also reacted to another comment which asked, “Who the f— is Kylie Kelce?” She replied: “I can’t get over the fact that [someone] actually typed this into Twitter when you could have typed this into Google. Also, you typed my name, so you know what you’re going to get? More Kylie Kelce content.”
They Call It Late Night airs Saturdays on ESPN at 1 a.m. ET.
The new year is the perfect time to kick off a healthy hair journey. Whether you want to revive color, treat chemical-induced damage, or focus on split ends, adding new products like the Amyla Cosmetics Hair Growth Serum, to your routine is a great place to start.
Maintaining a nourishing haircare routine is important year-round but especially during the winter. Cold weather and brisk air pull the moisture from hair, often resulting in dry, brittle strands. Not to mention, many of Us wear hats made from materials that lead to friction, frizz and even breakage.
The Hair Growth Serum uses a powerful blend of ingredients to strengthen and fortify hair from the root to the tips. Wondering what makes this serum so special? Key ingredients like almond oil, argan oil, biotin, carrot oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, peppermint, tea tree oil and vitamin E work together to hydrate, nourish and stimulate growth. Safe for daily use, this serum features vitamins and nutrients that deliver a radiant shine without weighing your hair down.
This serum is recommended for all hair types and is easy to use. Apply a few drops to desired areas and you’re good to go!
Shoppers are also impressed with this product.
“As someone with tight coils, finding the right hair product can be a challenge, but this one exceeded all my expectations,” one five-star reviewer wrote. “It keeps my curls moisturized, frizz-free, and defined all day long. I’ve received so many compliments since I started using it.” Another shopper added, “I’m so impressed with how this product transformed my dry, brittle hair into soft, luscious curls! It’s perfect for anyone with natural hair looking to add hydration and shine. A must-have in my hair care routine!”
Going on a healthy hair journey doesn’t have to be a complete overhaul. Sometimes it’s as simple as adding a new product to your routine. This Amyla Cosmetics Hair Growth Serum nourishes, strengthens and promotes shine.
Many reality TV personalities evacuated Los Angeles amid the ongoing wildfires that started in the Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, January 7.
“My heart goes out to those impacted by the fires here in L.A. County,” former Bachelorette Katie Thurston wrote via Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 8. “Waking up this morning and seeing all the updates breaks my heart. I couldn’t sleep this morning hearing the constant emergency vehicles and strong winds and realizing just 10 miles away, destruction is happening.”
She captioned a follow-up post, “This is f—ing scary.”
Within hours, Thurston, 34, packed a go-bag and waited to find out whether she and fiancé Jeff Arcurineeded to evacuate. The New York-based couple were in town for one of Arcuri’s comedy shows and ultimately left home later on Wednesday night.
Keep scrolling to see which other reality TV stars evacuated Los Angeles as the wildfires raged on:
Gabby Windey
The Traitors season 3 star and her girlfriend, Robby Hoffman, left early on Wednesday morning.
“We evacuated at 4 a.m. due to heavy smoke and no power,” Windey, 34, wrote via her Instagram Story. “Feel incredibly lucky we have somewhere to go and praying [for] everyone losing their homes, firefighters, medical staff and patients.”
Chrishell Stause
The Selling Sunset star, 43, revealed late on Wednesday night that there was an “immediate evacuation” in her neighborhood.
“Me, G [Flip] and Gracie are safe and out of the house,” Stause wrote via her Instagram Story, referring to her spouse and their pet dog.
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt
The Hills alums lost the home they share with young sons Gunner and Ryker to the blaze after they had already left the L.A. city limits.
“The craziest thing about packing for a fire [is] your brain just freaks out,” Montag, 38, said in a Wednesday TikTok video. “It’s so overwhelming packing up a house. I mean, I only have two pairs of jeans, two shirts. I got so much more clothes for the kids. I’m like, ‘Why didn’t I grab more?’ Thankfully, I grabbed anything and that’s such a blessing and the main thing is that we’re safe.”
Pratt’s parents also learned their home was leveled in the devastating fires, which they watched via security footage after their own evacuation.
According to Thurston’s Instagram Story, she and her fiancé were staying in San Diego “for a few days.” One of the items that Thurston packed was the ashes of her beloved late cat, Tommy.
Julianne Hough
TheDancing With the Stars host, 36, revealed via her Instagram Stories late on Wednesday that a fire had broken out “right near [her] house.” She and her dog, Sunny, got in a car and started driving out of the city.
“The reason I say evacuate now, even if it’s not close to you if you have somewhere to go because there’s traffic and you’re gonna be stuck in traffic,” Hough explained in a video. “That is not good. So, everybody please be safe and send prayers to all the first responders and firefighters.”
When it comes to fashion, so many of our favorite celebrities and entertainers are notorious for rocking pricey items that are way out of our budget. In these cases, we take our inspo and hit our favorite retailers looking for more budget-friendly options. Now and then, an A-lister hits the town in an affordable ensemble that’s worth recreating.
Take Selena Gomez, for instance. Late last fall, the paparazzi snapped shots of Gomez strolling through Los Angeles with her boyfriend Benny Blanco, who would propose almost a month later. She was dressed to impress in a sophisticated ensemble featuring a classic mall brand.
The Only Murders in the Building star-styled Banana Republic’s Crepe Knit Ruched Bodysuit with the brand’s Icon Classic Wide-Leg Jeans. She topped her look off with a black velvet blazer, a black belt, and pointed-toe black heels. The stylish look offered style and sophistication, so of course, we were left swooning over it.
Gomez proved that classic silhouettes never go out of style in the ultra-flattering bodysuit. Right now, bargain hunters can snag the same bodysuit on sale for just $48. The form-fitting one-piece features a wrap-front effect with flattering ruching at the side and a high neckline. The stretch-crepe fabric allows for a comfortable fit. Best of all? It comes with a thong back so you don’t have to worry about pesky panty lines.
Gomez wore the eye-catching bodysuit in a classic black shade, but it sold in every size except an XL. Thankfully, the shirt is available in the shade chocolate ganache brown in women’s sizes S-XL.
There are so many ways to style this celeb-loved top. You can take a page from Gomez’s style book and pair it with jeans and pointy heels. However, you can dress it down with straight-leg jeans and sneakers. Want to take things to the next level? You can style a date night-approved look by pairing it with a mini skirt, black tights and closed-toe heels.
Ready to add a versatile touch to your winter wardrobe? This Selena Gomez-approved bodysuit is an absolute eye-catcher. Best of all? You can snag it on sale under $50!
Take one of her go-tos, for example: her blue Alexander McQueen coat that’s made several appearances over the years. She debuted the pretty closet staple in 2014 and it’s earned a total of four public appearances, which is truly impressive for a royal.
It just so happens that the brunette beauty is a big fan of the luxury British label. Another piece that’s made headlines is the white-and-gold polkadot gown she wore to the BAFTAs on February 2, 2020. The stunner styled the look with a matching gold clutch and dangly earrings. Eight years prior, Middleton wore the same dress to a fancy state dinner while on a royal tour of Malaysia. From a glance, it even looks like she accessorized with the same pieces.
We don’t know about you, but Us Weekly’s dying to know Middleton’s secret to holding on to nearly every fashion item she’s acquired in the past 15+ years.

Al B. Sure! has long been an outspoken critic of Sean “Diddy” Combs. Now, in the new Peacock documentaryDiddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, the songwriter and record producer is sharing more of his story.
“Al B. has been through a lot,” executive producer Ari Mark exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the film’s Tuesday, January 14, premiere. “There are definitely more layers to his story, for sure. And hopefully we get the opportunity down the road to share more of that story.”
Sure, 56, was married to the late Kim Porter from 1989 to 1990. The former couple welcomed a son, Quincy Brown, in 1991. Porter later dated Diddy, 55, off and on from 1994 to 2007. Before her death at age 47 in November 2018, the duo welcomed son Christian, 26, and twin daughters Jessie and D’lila, 18.
It’s long been reported that Diddy adopted Quincy, 33, as a toddler, but Sure (whose real name is Albert Joseph Brown) claims in the documentary that it never happened.
“There’s no adoption. None,” Sure alleged in the film. “And if you haven’t noticed, his name is still Brown. People thought I was absent and things of that nature.”
Sure didn’t share all of his grievances with Diddy in the documentary, but Mark understood that he shared what he felt like he could during filming.
“He definitely has history with Kim and with Sean, and this is part of his family,” Mark told Us. “For him, it just hits really, really close to home. He definitely has a lot of strong opinions about it, and I think a lot of those were shared in the film. And for the ones that weren’t shared, I think you can probably glean how he feels.”
Later in the film, Sure didn’t hesitate to share his belief that Porter did not die of natural causes. (The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed her cause of death as lobar pneumonia in January 2019.)
“That’s just a day that will never, never leave my mind,” Sure said in the film. “And just that empty feeling of like, ‘Nah, something is not right with this.’”
As the documentary notes, medical professionals have found no evidence that Porter died of unnatural causes. Her children, meanwhile, said last year that they accept the official cause of her death.
“Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed,” Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D’lila said in a joint statement in September 2024. “While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day.”
While Diddy did not participate in the film, his attorneys issued a statement to producers, saying, “Sean Combs unequivocally denies the baseless allegations being circulated in connection with this documentary. Regarding the legal cases referenced, Mr. Combs will not comment on pending litigation. He will fight them in court, where the facts will be distinguished from fiction.”
In a statement to Us, Diddy’s team added, “This documentary recycles and perpetuates the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been slung against Mr. Combs for months. It is disappointing to see NBC and Peacock rolling in the same mud as unethical tabloid reporters. By providing a platform for proven liars and opportunists to make false criminal accusations, the documentary is irresponsible journalism of the worst kind.”
Diddy is currently in jail awaiting trial after his September 2024 arrest on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has repeatedly denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Mark, for his part, praised “the courage” it took for Sure and other participants in the documentary to speak out.
“So many have resisted speaking up for years, so this is really the first time they’re opening up,” he told Us. “I hope audiences recognize how tough that must be and that they feel like they have the producers’ and the network’s gratitude. Seeing the man behind the mugshot is something I think that is valuable and important, not just because of an audience’s curiosity. … There is a societal responsibility to tell these types of stories.”
Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy premieres on Peacock Tuesday, January 14.
People set some lofty goals around the New Year. From cutting sugar and hitting the gym eight days a week to having fewer cocktails, spending less money and going to bed earlier, everyone seems to have a multitude of ambitions for 2025. If you haven’t set goals yet, have fun with it! Your goals don’t have to be life-altering; just things you can stick to and measure.
As someone who already eats healthy (most of the time) and exercises daily, my goals look a little different. While I have a generally healthy lifestyle, I’m lacking in the clean beauty department — like, severely lacking. I rarely check the laundry list of ingredients in my soaps, shampoos, makeup products, moisturizers or dry shampoos.
Dry shampoos are particularly chemical-laden, especially the sprays that contain aerosol, drying alcohols, silicones, talc and other harmful additives. I’ve been using the same dry shampoo spray for years, but it wasn’t until I tried this Dry Shampoo Powder Puff that I realized how unnecessary the chemicals really are. This puff works ten times better and is much healthier for my hair, my lungs and the environment. What a win!
Instead of chemicals, this powder contains refreshing milled starches, biotin, copper peptides and an antioxidant-filled energy complex to support the hair without clogging your scalp. Almost all of the ingredients are naturally derived! And yes, it really works. In addition to instantly absorbing oil and refreshing roots, 90% of study participants noticed fuller, denser roots, added volume and less oiliness over time.
While some dry shampoos are formulated for specific hair textures and types, this puff provides a convenient refresh for any hair, whether straight, wavy, curly, thick, fine or some combination of the above. The talc and benzene-free powder comes in two shades, translucent and tinted. As a hardcore brunette, I typically opt for tinted, however I’ve been loving the translucent shade; it’s clean, mess-free, blendable and universal, so I can share it with my girls when they need it!
Something else that makes this mattifying formula a must-have is the smell. It smells like citrus and flowers without going overboard (if you know what I mean) and has a musky vanilla finish. If I didn’t know that this was a dry shampoo scent, I’d probably think it was perfume!
Before your first use, be sure to remove the internal sticker and pat the puff upside down a few times to get the powder flowing. From there, you’re set to pat it directly onto your scalp, massage it in and watch the magic happen. I’ll be living in my clean beauty era this year . . . join me!
Lily Allen candidly addressed her ongoing mental health struggles — and shut down rumors she was going to rehab following a relapse.
During the Thursday, January 9, episode of her “Miss Me?” podcast, Allen, 39, announced she was stepping back while “finding it really hard to be interested in anything” at the moment.
“I’m really not in a good place,” she explained. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiraling and spiraling and spiraling and it’s got out of control.”
Allen recalled having a “panic attack” at an event recently, adding, “I went to see something at the theater the other night with my [friends] Carlo and Claire, and I had to leave at halftime. I just can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through.”
The singer, who is married to actor David Harbour, didn’t specify what was causing the personal decline. “It’s really, really hard,” she added before discussing her break from podcasting. “I’m going away next week. You’re not gonna hear me for a few weeks, listeners.”
Allen also used the opportunity to shut down “vicious rumors” she had relapsed and was going to rehab. She has often used her podcast as a platform to discuss mental health — revealing in December 2024 that she had been having difficulty eating for the last three years after suffering from bulimia in the past.
“I’ve been going through a tough time over the last few months and my eating has become a real issue,” she said on her show about how she didn’t tell her therapist about the issues. “It’s just because it hasn’t seemed at the top of the list of the important things that I need to talk about. I’m really not in a great place mentally at the moment.”
“I think that addiction runs deep in my family, so self-medicating was going to be on the cards. For me, it didn’t really feel like an ‘if,’ it was a ‘when,’” Allen, who is the daughter of comedian Keith Allen, told The Times in November 2024. “The journey of sobriety isn’t singular, and it isn’t linear. So if sharing my own experiences and struggles helps even just one person process what they’re going through, then it’s all worth it.”
Allen, who shares daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 12, with ex Sam Cooper, elaborated on how her sobriety affects her marriage to Harbour, 49.
“We don’t really talk about it,” Allen explained. “I don’t think I’d ever had sex with anybody not drunk before I got together with him. So that was different for sure.”
She continued: “It’s a totally different thing. It’s unavoidable, conscious and real. He had a lot of experience with it, so it’s been helpful to do it with someone that’s long-in-the-tooth in that game.”
Over the last year, after making their relationship known to the public, the singers have been seen on stage performing together quite a bit, Billboard reports.
While talking about Wright in a July interview with The Kyle & Jackie O Show,Swims opened up about dating someone also in the music industry.
“She does what I do, which is great. Because it’s, like, maybe 3 a.m., and I’m calling her and she’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, I’m in a session. I’m recording vocals.’ And I’m like, ‘Girl, yeah, handle your business, baby.’”
On Wright’s 29th birthday, Swims praised his partner, calling her “my sweet girl.”
“My sweet girl. You are truly the divine feminine,” he wrote alongside a handful of photos of the two of them together.
“You are the most perceptive and caring person I’ve ever met. You’re so beautiful inside and out. So nurturing yet so tough. You coddle me and challenge me. I’m looking forward to loving you forever and ever and I’m so thankful and lucky to call you mine.”
“I love you. Happy birthday angel,” he continued, adding her 29th year “is going to bring you everything you desire, need, and so much more! I’m so happy to be by your side and support you through it all.”
In May 2024, Wright shared a video of her and Swims sharing the stage.
“Omg I’m SO obsessed with you two!!!! Get you a man who looks at you the way (Swims) looks at Raiche,” a comment read. “I [expletive] love you girl, and I love watching your happiness and success. Literally fills my heart with so much joy.”

It’s such a rarity for me to make any sort of dent, yet I’ve completely used up three tubes of this lip plumper because it’s simply that good. The substantial gloss stays put for hours and it provides my lips with a natural plumping effect that rivals professional injections — sans needles or any stinging sensation.” — Mary Honkus, Commerce Writer
Blake Lively is back online after filing her lawsuit against It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni.
“To everyone affected by the Los Angeles fires,” Lively, 37, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, January 9, alongside a link to the organization Mutual Aid LA Network’s list of resources for those impacted by the ongoing disaster in California. A follow-up post included a video about the resource list.
Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, also reshared posts about how to help amid the wildfires via his Instagram Story on Thursday and linked to Mutual Aid LA Network’s list, which is continuing to be updated.
The couple, who wed in 2012 and share four children, are among many celebrities who have shared their well-wishes and resources via social media. Lively and Reynolds, 48, did not reveal whether they were personally affected by the fires.
Other stars such as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Diane Warren, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Melissa Rivershave lost their homes. The fires began to spread on Tuesday, January 7, as a result of Santa Ana wind gusts, causing devastation and forcing thousands to evacuate the area.
Lively’s support for the fire victims marked her return to social media after filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, 40, last month. In docs first obtained by The New York Times, she accused Baldoni of acting inappropriately on the set of It Ends With Us and alleged he attempted to launch a smear campaign against her to “destroy” her career.
In a December 2024 statement to Us, Lively noted, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”
Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman denied the actress’ “outrageous” accusations in a statement of his own, instead alleging that she threatened not to show up on set or promote the film unless certain demands were met. (Lively officially filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, and Wayfarer Studios on December 31, 2024.)
Baldoni, meanwhile, filed a $250 million lawsuit against the Times, further accusing Lively of trying to ban him from an It Ends With Us premiere and kicking him out of the film’s editing process. A spokesperson for the outlet defended their “meticulously and responsibly reported” story in a statement to Us last month.
During a recent interview with NBC News, Freedman insisted that Baldoni never wanted to “hurt” Lively but confirmed that the actor “absolutely” plans to countersue and “release every single text” exchanged between the costars.
Lively’s attorneys denounced the “attacks” from Baldoni and his team in a statement to Us on Monday, January 6, alleging that they “engaged in unlawful, retaliatory astroturfing against Ms. Lively for simply trying to protect herself and others on a film set. And their response to the lawsuit has been to launch more attacks against Ms. Lively since her filing.”
The statement that they “will continue to prosecute her claims in federal court, where the rule of law determines who prevails not hyperbole and threats.” Freedman issued a response one day later, calling out Lively’s “painfully ironic” accusations and reiterating, “We have all the receipts!”

Facial hair. It’s an uncomfortable subject for many of Us ladies to discuss — which simply means we need to talk about it more often. We’ve been conditioned to believe that facial hair is limited to men, but whether light or dark, everyone has peach fuzz! Despite what social media, airbrushed pictures and photoshop show you, it’s normal and natural — albeit inconvenient.
Removing facial hair isn’t a walk in the park, especially if you want a baby-smooth finish without any remnants. Men can use a regular razor to shave their upper lip, chin and cheeks; if you want a smooth finish, however, you’ll want to avoid it. Shaving with a regular razor will leave your hair thicker and more visible than before. Waxing is a valid alternative, but waxing is painful, time-consuming and expensive. What’s one to do?
If you haven’t tried dermaplaning, your mind will be blown. Dermaplaning is using a fine blade to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells, hairs and fuzz. It strips away the top layers of your skin — including the peach fuzz — so you’re left with smooth, flawless skin. The process also reduces the appearance of acne scars, fine lines and hyperpigmentation while revealing brighter, more youthful skin.
There are a lot of dermaplane razors out there, but if you’re looking for a high-quality eco-friendly option that does a better job than your local aesthetician, we found just the tool. This single-blade facial razor is a bestseller for a reason, amassing a cult following on social media and beyond. Stainless steel Japanese precision blades are just the beginning!
This refillable dermaplane razor creates a smooth canvas; it’s guaranteed to reveal radiant, even skin that’s ready for your makeup and skincare. You can tell it’s a high-quality razor by the weight of the metal handle! This tool is easy to hold and control, ensuring you don’t remove too much or too little.
To use, simply pull the skin taut and drag the razor downward — in the direction of hair growth — at a 30-degree angle. Once the hair is removed, apply a gentle moisturizer and allow the skin to rest before applying any makeup. Each blade cartridge an be used three times, so be sure to wipe the blade clean with a tissue or cloth after use. You’ll only need to dermaplane once every few weeks. The set comes with two blades, so you’ll be set for months!
Reviewers are obsessed with the quality, noting that it’s “not like the cheap plastic ones with flimsy blades” you may find at drugstores. One states it’s “just as good as a professional’s job” — and it’s much less expensive, too.
Princess Kate Middleton was fully thrust into the spotlight when she and Prince William dated for more than a decade before tying the knot in 2011. But just because she became a royal doesn’t mean she pushed her own family out of her life.
In fact, the Princess of Wales has remained close with her younger siblings, sister Pippa Middleton and brother James Middleton, from birth.
“We spend a lot of time together. We still do a lot together as a family. We’re very close,” Pippa told NBC in 2014. “We have a very normal, sisterly relationship. And, you know, we support each other and get each other’s opinions and things.”
Pippa also served as maid of honor at Kate and William’s wedding, and James read a passage from the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible at their 2011 nuptials.
While promoting a mental health campaign in 2017, Kate opened up about why she’s so interested in advocating for the wellbeing of children across the globe, noting that parents Michael Middleton and Carole Middleton taught her about the importance of qualities like “kindness, respect and honesty.”
“I realize how central values like these have been to me throughout my life. That is why William and I want to teach our little children, George and Charlotte, just how important these things are as they grow up,” she said at the time, per The Standard. “In my view it is just as important as excelling at maths or sport.”
She continued, “People often ask me why I am so interested in the mental health of children and young people. The answer is quite simple: it is because I think that every child should have the best possible start in life. When I was growing up I was very lucky. My family was the most important thing to me.”
William also has a good relationship with his wife’s family. In May 2021, the Prince of Wales opened up about missing his in-laws amid quarantining during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Some people are quite happy they haven’t seen their in-laws for a year,” he said while spending time with emergency responders in Scotland, according to Marie Claire U.K. “I love my in-laws.”

Carole Middleton
Carole and Kate’s relationship has always been tight.
Though Carole typically does not speak out herself, the Party Pieces founder told The Telegraph in 2018 that she was heavily involved in planning the royal wedding.
“We talked about music…everything. I was involved lots with both Pip’s and Catherine’s weddings,” she said.
While speaking to Good Housekeeping in 2021, Carole opened up about her close relationship with her grandkids. William and Kate share three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
“I want to run down the hills, climb the trees, and go through the tunnel at the playground,” she told the outlet at the time. “As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides.”
Royal author Phil Dampierrevealed in June 2021 that Kate also “turns to her for advice and comfort all the time” and reiterated that she spends “a lot of time” with William and Kate’s kids.
“Her mom has been staying with her to help her recuperate,” the source said. Carole was also photographed heading to an appointment with Kate earlier that month.
In April 2024, Carole and husband Michael were “forced to sell Party Pieces in May 2023 due to mounting debts,” according to U.K.’s The Times, but Carole put her role as a mother above all else
“No one in the royal family is embarrassed by the failure of Party Pieces,” author Christopher Andersen, who has penned bestselling books about the royals including Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Megan, exclusively told Us Weekly.
Another source added, “Carole is desperately trying to keep Catherine fully focused on her recovery. It’s a very worrying time for the family but they are not looking for any assistance from their children and don’t want them to worry.”
Michael Middleton
Kate and her dad Michael have had a solid relationship through the years. Though Kate and Pippa were born in the United Kingdom, Michael moved their family to Jordan in 1984 while working for British Airways and lived there for nearly three years. Kate’s former teacher told The Daily Mail in 2023 that the doting dad would sometimes pick her up while wearing his uniform, adding, “The kids used to get very excited and run to see him.”
Ahead of Kate and William’s 2011 nuptials – where Michael walked his eldest child down the aisle – William shared a sweet and funny story about asking for Kate’s hand in marriage.
“Well, I was torn between asking Kate’s dad first and then the realization that he might actually say no dawned upon me,” he said. “So I thought if I ask Kate first, then he can’t really say no. So I did it that way round.”
The pair also have fun outside of her royal duties. The father-daughter duo attended Wimbledon together in 2021, and that same year, both Michael and Carole attended Kate’s first-ever Christmas carol concert alongside Pippa and James.
Pippa Middleton
Kate has had a close relationship with younger sister Pippa (born in September 1983) since they were young, and their strong bond has continued to flourish into adulthood.
Pippa became a fixture in the media after serving as Kate’s maid of honor during her royal wedding to William in 2011, wearing a form-fitting gown that nearly stole the show.
“We spend a lot of time together,” she said during a 2014 Today show appearance. “We can sort of be normal with each other, treat each other normally, and that’s sort of kept us all fixed to the ground. We’re very close.”
Though Kate “had no idea” that Pippa was about to get engaged to now-husband James Matthews in 2016, a source told Us Weekly at the time that “Kate is so happy for Pippa. She knows how much this means to her and how much she loves James.”
The sisters have been by each other’s sides through some of the biggest moments of their lives, including births. Just hours after Kate and William welcomed their youngest child, Prince Louis, in 2018, Pippa visited the happy family at Kensington Palace.
In 2021, Pippa honored her sister by giving her and Matthews’ older daughter Grace the same middle name as the Duchess of Wales: Elizabeth.
James Middleton
James is the youngest Middleton sibling, born April 1987. Though he typically keeps out of the spotlight, he’s made a few rare comments over the years that give insight into his relationship with Kate.
“I’m extremely proud,” he said on a July 2023 episode of Good Morning Britain via a video shared by The Daily Mail. “I’m always taken aback by how much she does do, and that does always continue to sit at the forefront of my mind. But actually, to be honest, she’s my sister—so I know all of her sort of quirks and everything. And actually, to see her blossoming in that role, I’m very proud of her.”
After Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis in March 2024, James broke his silence on his sister’s health in a throwback photo of the pair shared via Instagram.
“Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too ,” he wrote.
Months later, James offered exclusive insight to Us Weekly on what Kate is like behind closed doors.
“Catherine is very much on a public stage and I’m in awe of a lot of the things she does,” he said. “I think the thing I’m most proud of is that she’s still the same person that I grew up with.”
Marie Osmond is paying tribute to her brother Wayne Osmond after he died at age 73.
“I’ve taken a break from social media for the past 9 months and will continue to do so as I have felt a need to unplug and spend time with family,” Marie, 65, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, January 8. “I’m so grateful that just a few weeks ago, I was able to take a long drive to spend time with my brother Wayne. I really felt the Spirit compel me to go see him, and I’m so thankful I listened to what I was feeling.”
“I will cherish those hours I spent with him for the rest of my life. I didn’t know that just a few days after my visit, he would have a massive stroke,” she continued. “I haven’t done any interviews or issued any statements until this post. The truth is, it’s just too hard to put into words, but I will try my best to honor one of the most loving men I have ever known.”
In the emotional post, Marie confessed that Wayne’s death left “another giant hole” in her heart. “There’s no question that Wayne had a long and successful career as an entertainer, musician, and songwriter. But what stands out to me as his sister were the joy-filled, humorous times I spent laughing with him and our deep intellectual conversations that left me edified,” she recalled. “He was always my safe place to go when I needed advice.”
News broke on January 2 that Wayne died in Salt Lake City, with sibling Merrill Osmond making the announcement via Facebook. “My brother was a saint before he came into this world, and he will leave as an even greater saint than he came in,” Merrill wrote at the time, noting that his brother “endured much” before his death.
Wayne performed alongside Merrill and brothers Donny, Alan and Jay as part of The Osmonds, hitting the peak of their success in the 1970s. While celebrating Wayne’s memory on Wednesday, Marie shared some of their favorite moments together.
“Wayne loved deeply, and he showered this love upon his beautiful wife, Kathy, whom he loved with all his heart, and his beautiful children and grandchildren. It’s all he ever talked about! I admired him, too, for his deep love and unwavering devotion to God our Father and His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ,” she recalled. “Throughout his life, Wayne was an honorable member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was his eternal compass, and he was a light to others as he testified of God’s great plan for us in this life. If you can, listen to one of his favorite albums that my brothers wrote ‘The Plan.’”
Marie concluded by sharing support for those who might be going through a similar experience. “So right now, if I could say anything to him, it would be: Wayne, I could not cherish the gift God gave me more than to be loved by you in this life!” she wrote. “You are a true, loving brother, and I will miss you so very much. I testify eternally of my great love for you with every fiber of my heart and soul! #TillWeMeetAgain.”
She added, “I know many of you understand these feelings from losing your loved ones,” also sending her “deepest prayers” to those impacted by the outbreak of wildfires raging through Los Angeles.
Dick Wolf‘s On Call follows fictional law enforcement working for the Long Beach Police Department — but why did the procedural make an effort not to offer commentary?
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Troian Bellisario, Brandon Larracuente, Eriq LaSalle and Lori Loughlin discussed how their new show introduced important conversations without picking sides.
“At least from my own experience, the show left me with more questions than real answers. I hope that that’s what audiences experience as well,” Larracuente, 30, who plays Officer Alex Diaz, noted. “By the end of it, we’re not really trying to paint any narrative.”
Larracuente applauded On Call for “just trying to show the human side” of everyone, adding, “Hopefully audience members can relate to one of the characters [on the show] in some way, shape or form.”
“We want so many different kinds of people — who have many different views about the police — to come to this show. And we want them to take away what they take away,” the actress, who plays Officer Traci Harmon told Us. [“Executive producer] Elliot [Wolf] put it really well. He’s like, ‘We want to create a buffet and we want everybody to come to the table and eat together.’ That’s the thing. We’re not going to say, ‘Oh, you have that idea, so you’re not welcome here.’ You have that idea so you won’t like this show.’ You will see people make incredible decisions [on screen]. You’ll see us make mistakes. Nobody is a hero. And these are human beings — they just so happen to be doing this job.”
On Call, which premiered on Thursday, January 9, is Wolf Entertainment’s first scripted streaming series. The gritty drama utilized bodycam, dash-camera and cellphone footage to follow cops in the field.
While speaking with Us, Loughlin, 60, showed support for On Call‘s “intention” when “not trying to comment” any which way. Her costar Eriq La Salle found that to be an appealing part of the show when joining as a lead and director.
“We’re just trying to present real credible characters. We all spent a shift — or at least a minimum of a shift — riding along with a cop, answering calls and observing, which was extremely helpful. For me as a director, being able to be in that cruiser and to be the fly on the wall is the goal for me with the audience,” the actor, 62, who plays Sergeant Lasman explained. “We try to bring the audience in and make them feel like they’re in that car with us and that they’re on these calls with us. Everyone was in sync on what we were trying to do.”
“We’re not saying [anything], we are just presenting. It’s up to you to decide how you interpret these characters. You might like some characters, you might not like some characters,” he continued. “You might agree with some characters [and] you might not. But our job — and I think I am proud of the job that we have done — is to present what we see as the truth and what we see as the multi-dimensions of these characters.”
“Our audiences are evolving. The police procedural is something that is not new and it’s definitely a Wolf Entertainment production. It’s classic and everybody loves it,” Bellisario noted. “Younger audiences are mostly streaming. They’re watching less procedural and more character-driven shows. We’re going to use the world of law enforcement but we’re going to show it to you in a place that you don’t really see a lot, which is Long Beach. It’s an entirely new community and landscape.”
She concluded: “We’re not going to show you a case and then solve it by the end of it. There is an overarching story line to this season that our characters are following. but it’s really just about the time spent between us and this relationship and how it builds and how it falls and the betrayals and the beliefs. It’s just a really incredible amalgamation of all of these new ideas that I think present a totally original idea in the show.”
The world watched in awe as Prince William and Princess Katewed at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011, and years later, commoners still stand impressed with the couple. Though they didn’t tie the knot until 2011, Kate and William first met 10 years prior while studying history at Scotland’s University of St Andrews. The two would go on to keep quiet about their romance as they completed their education, but later had a high-profile split in 2007.
“At the time I wasn’t very happy about it, but it actually made me a stronger person,” Kate shared during a joint interview with William in November 2010. “You find out things about yourself that maybe you hadn’t realized. I think you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you are younger, and I really valued that time for me as well although I didn’t think it at the time.”
