The reality star, 29, shared an Instagram video of his father driving him to a meeting on Thursday, July 3, but he wasn’t too impressed with Todd’s driving skills.
“Going into a meeting and my dad doesn’t know how to drive, so now I have a stained shirt because of this,” Chase narrated the video, panning from a liquid stain on his shirt to his dad smirking in the driver’s seat.
“You should’ve taken driver’s ed while you were in there,” he then quipped, referring to Todd and mom Julie’s recent federal prison stints following their 2022 convictions on charges including tax evasion, bank and wire fraud and conspiracy. (Both Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, have maintained their innocence.)
Chase captioned the video: “This is what I deal with…. I still love you even though you are a pain in the ass @toddchrisley.”
In May, Todd and Julie received pardons from President Donald Trump over their respective convictions and were released from prison. Since then, the couple have reunited with their family, including sons Chase and Grayson, 19, and daughters Savannah, 27, and Chloe, 12.
The former Chrisley Knows Best stars reflected on their respective prison stints — Todd’s in Pensacola, Florida, and Julie’s in Lexington, Kentucky — on the latest episode of daughter Savannah’s “Unlocked” podcast.
“In my head, I was still free. I did not take up residence there. I was in prison, prison was not in me,” Todd shared on the Tuesday, July 1, episode of “Unlocked.”
“I prayed, I read my Bible, I worked out, I walked,” he continued. “I wreaked havoc on anyone that was mistreating somebody else.”
“He was talking s*** about Savannah, because that’s when she had already started, you know, pulling the Barbara Walters and exposing everything in the [Bureau of Prisons]. He started talking smack,” Todd recalled. “I said, ‘I will rip your head off and s*** down your neck if you talk about my child again.’ And I meant what I said.”
Julie, meanwhile, recently claimed that her health deteriorated due to poor conditions in her penitentiary, FMC Lexington in Kentucky.
“I could see my health deteriorating,” Julie shared in an ABC News special that aired via Hulu on Sunday, June 29, claiming that she developed asthma during her time there.
The couple started dating and got married before the hit Hulu series premiered in September 2024. During the first season, Jessi’s personal life wasn’t in the spotlight, but that all changed after she filmed two episodes of Vanderpump Villa. From there, rumors spread about Jessi’s relationship with Marciano, which she denied was anything more than a friendship while filming season 2.
The season 2 finale, which aired in May 2025, took Us by surprise when Marciano claimed he slept with Jessi. She didn’t initially clarify the allegations but noted that there was more to the story, which would play out on screen.
“I’ll say I’m an open book. Even though there were things I hadn’t shared yet — once I was in the position to share them — I have nothing to hide,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025. “I was willing to just lay it all on the table.”
Jessi said it is important to “just be honest,” sharing, “I’ve made mistakes. My husband has made mistakes. Everyone in their life has made mistakes. I think sharing those is relatable and hopefully people can get something out of it.”
“Every relationship has ups and downs. But when you’re on reality TV, it puts a microscope on it and everyone sees everything and has opinions. It’s hard not to have it affect your friendships, your relationships and your family life,” she noted. “That was definitely hard.”
Jessi continued: “Now that we’re done filming for a little while, I’m just going to focus on my family, my kids and get back on track with all of that. Then hopefully I will be in a better head space for the next time we film — if we do.”
The reality star acknowledged how filming the show played a role in her and Jordan’s marriage issues, saying, “It was definitely probably the hardest time of my life filming the next season. I do think it’s going to help a lot of people. I’m excited to share my story and help with what some women go through. I do think that it’s going to be a good thing — as hard as it is.”

You started out as my friend and I’m so glad that blossomed into what we have today. I feel so lucky to have you in my life.”

Jordan proposed to Jessi two months later, writing, “The girl of my dreams; you’re my best friend and soul mate. I can’t imagine my life without you. We are tying the NGAT.”
“He is our perfect chunky boy!” Jordan captioned the post. “Unfortunately he’s having some problems with his lungs and is currently in the NICU getting some help. He is a fighter just like his momma and has been doing so much better today than last night. He’s such a blessing to our life and we feel so lucky he choose us to be his parents .”
After welcoming their first baby together, Jessi and Jordan exchanged vows later that year.

It’s not easy to leave your home and your family to do a job that requires leadership, resilience and a great work ethic.”
She continued: “I’m in awe of what he’s doing for himself and our family C I miss you more than life but l’m also the most proud wife. Love you baby!!!”

I pick you forever and I love the life we have built and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us and our babies. Love you to the .”
Jessi celebrated the major milestone as well, adding, “Happy Anniversary @justjordddy 4 years has felt like 4 lifetimes, we’ve done so much and lived such a full life in such a short amount of time. We went back to the place we got engaged tonight and I think it’s safe to say we’ve gotten better with time love you babe!!”

The second season of Mormon Wives called Jessi’s marriage into question when Marciano claimed they had an affair. Jessi denied the allegations but later admitted she had issues she needed to address with Jordan.
“I will say that reality TV is hard on any relationship, whether it’s a friendship or a marriage,” Jessi revealed on “The Viall Files” podcast in May 2025. “We’ve been through a lot, and now it’s going to be public.”
Jessi was also asked about not wearing a wedding ring and noted that she and Jordan were “working through things,” adding, “We’re trying our best — but things are a little tricky right now. I’m excited to hopefully someday share more about that. But right now it’s just real life and it’s hard.”
“We’re back working on things. Every day is different,” Jessi exclusively told Us. “Marriage is hard. We still have ups and downs — and you will see a lot of that unfold in season 3.”
Jessi noted that she was hopeful about their future, adding, “I do think that overall it’s going to be inspiring to people. I hope that a lot of people can relate.”
According to Jessi, the pair “didn’t have a choice” or option to work things out privately, resulting in the cameras capturing their marital woes.
“A lot of this story is unpacked in season 3 so I can’t talk about it yet,” she said before assuming that Jordan felt “anxious, nervous and sad” hearing her discuss a possible affair. “We’re both going through a lot right now. But I think he’s willing to tell his truth too and he’s been very vulnerable throughout season 3. So we both just laid it all out there. There was a lot more to the story and it’s not what you think it is. There’s no secrets. Like, we are exposing it all.”
Jessi clarified that any interactions with Marciano happened “after” he allegedly spoke with Demi off screen. Later in the special, Jordan joined the group and revealed whether he thought he and Jessi would work through their issues.
“I knew what happened because of the conversations that I had had with Jessi, but it was really tough to have the allegations made,” he said about continuing to work through their issues. “I tried to talk to Bret [about Marciano]. It’s a really tough place to be. I see him a couple times a week. We wave at each other at the gym, but outside of that we don’t talk.”
July 2025
In the season 3 trailer, Jordan’s immediate reaction to the rumors about Marciano and Jessi played out, with him saying, “If I find anything else out, I am done.”
Jessi, for her part, was later seen asking Marciano, “Why did you lie to Layla about us?” Marciano hinted that he was “influenced” by Demi and even agreed to a lie detector test with Jessi about what actually happened between them.
The 4th of July may be a great time to celebrate the birth of the nation with family and friends, but it’s also an excellent time to catch up on your binge-watching.
The Watch With Us team has a few suggestions for the must-watch shows to watch on Netflix, Hulu and more streamers.
Admittedly, our selections are very heavy with action and action comedies because they play very well in the summer.
But if you want something different, our first selection is one of this year’s best TV thrillers.
Paradise doesn’t waste any time killing off the President of the United States, Cal Bradford (James Marsden). The promos for the series give that away, but there are plenty of twists that you won’t see coming. Sterling K. Brown stars in the series as Secret Service agent Xavier Collins. Once, Xavier and Bradford were very close and shared a bond. But that bond has been fractured in the present.
That may be why Xavier is one of the primary suspects in the murder of President Bradford. But it’s going to take some time to understand what really happened on the final night of Bradford’s life, and that’s time that Xavier may not have as he attempts to get answers.
Lost‘s Josh Holloway is back on TV this summer with Duster, a throwback action crime thriller that takes place in 1972. Rachel Hilson stars as Nina Hayes, the first Black female agent in the FBI. And she’s made it her mission in life to take down Ezra Saxton (Keith David), a ruthless crime lord in the Southwest.
What Nina needs is a man on the inside, and that’s where Jim Ellis (Holloway) comes in. Jim doesn’t initially have a personal stake in what happens with Ezra, and he’s the best getaway driver in his criminal organization. But once Jim is convinced to help Nina, they form an unconventional partnership that’s irresistible.
If you’ve ever seen True Lies, then you’re going to be very familiar with the premise of the action comedy FUBAR. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays Luke Brunner, a CIA agent who has hidden his real job from his family for decades. That makes things really awkward when Luke discovers that his daughter, Emma Brunner (Monica Barbaro), is also a highly-trained CIA agent — and no one in the agency told him.
Despite the lingering anger and tension between father and daughter over years of lies, they make a pretty good team. FUBAR season 2 debuted earlier this summer, and it introduced Carrie-Anne Moss as the show’s new villain, Greta Nelson. She’s hilarious and makes the new season worth watching.
Supernatural‘s Jensen Acklesgets back to his action roots with Prime Video’s new series, Countdown. Ackles plays Mark Meachum, an LAPD detective who is on loan to a special task force. Someone murdered a Department of Homeland Security officer in plain sight, and the government has put together a team to hunt down the killer.
What started as a simple murder investigation quickly escalates into a plot that may lead to a terrorist attack against the people of Los Angeles. If Mark and his new team can’t stop this in time, then the casualties will be immense.
Money isn’t everything for Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Jon Hamm), but it’s more than enough to drive him to a life of crime in Your Friends & Neighbors. In this darkly funny series, Coop used to be wealthy, but his divorce from Mel (Amanda Peet) and the loss of his high-paying job put that to an end.
To keep his family afloat, Coop begins stealing from his rich neighbors as long as he can get away with it. It turns out that he has a knack for being an underhanded thief. He’s also got an on-and-off again relationship with Samantha “Sam” Levitt (Olivia Munn), his wife’s former best friend. But Coop can’t let Sam get too close, especially if it would jeopardize his newfound criminal activities.
Your Friends & Neighbors is streaming on Apple TV+.
Sofia Richie Grainge has officially entered her style icon era. From her wedding looks to her polished off-duty outfits, everything she wears feels put-together without trying too hard. Her capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, which launched earlier this year, reflects that same energy, especially this pleated maxi skirt we recently spotted her in.
Unfortunately, like much of the collection, the skirt sold out fast. But if you’re still thinking about the crisp, pleated silhouette, we found a near-identical match on Amazon for just $24!
This pick is simple and flattering with a flowy shape that pairs well with everything from slouchy tees to structured button-downs. And reviewers love how easy it is to style across seasons, and they’re especially into the soft waistband and deep pockets that don’t ruin the shape.
One shopper said that it’s a “nice, simple wardrobe staple” and praised the fit, stretch and comfort.
Another five-star reviewer added that while the fabric is on the thinner side, it “lays correctly and doesn’t look cheap.” Others liked that it’s breathable but appropriate for work or more dressed-up looks.
Ready to get quiet luxury style without the designer price tag? Grab this $24 lookalike on Amazon to channel Sofia Richie Grainge’s polish on a budget.
“Whoa, my love, my darling, I’ve hungered for your touch …” With The Righteous Brothers’ “Unchained Melody” playing, sleepless Molly (Moore) is working at her pottery wheel at 2 a.m. in an NYC loft.
Live-in love Sam (Swayze) sleepily wanders in. Oh, hey, he’s shirtless! He wraps his arms around her, nuzzles her neck, their fingers intertwine and caress … and all thoughts of making a pot disappear. And so the supernatural drama Ghost, released July 13, 1990, gave moviedom one of its most memorable love scenes.
Keep scrolling for a full breakdown of Moore and Swayze’s iconic film:
Who Was Involved
It would become 1990’s biggest money maker, but Ghost was a tough sell in terms of casting. After all, the leading man quickly gets shot and killed, only to stick around in spectral form. His agenda: walk through stuff, moon over his soulmate and then save her life.
“I just didn’t get it. I said, ‘Hey, the guy’s dead. How are you gonna have a romance?’ Famous last words,” Bruce Willis told The New York Times of passing on the role. (The self-proclaimed “knucklehead” missed a chance to star opposite his then-wife.)
Other names that came and went: Harrison Ford, Michael J. Fox, Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise. Dirty Dancing was a few years behind Swayze, but he nailed the audition. Meanwhile, Moore was always the No. 1 choice for the female lead, but Michelle Pfeiffer, Molly Ringwald, Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman and up-and-comer Julia Roberts were also contenders.
Why We Remember It
Patrick Swayze, Demi MooreEverett Collection
Sheer swooniness! “It was pretty sexy playing in all that clay, so all we had to do was go with it, let our imaginations run wild and then touch each other’s arms for the sparks to fly,” Swayze wrote in his memoir with wife Lisa Niemi, The Time of My Life. Keeping the action PG-13 — no “jumping each other’s bones,” per Swayze — was key: “You want to see them looking intently into each other’s eyes, in an intimate, personal moment that conveys desire.”
Key Details
Swayze and Moore were barely past the introductions when it was time to get dirty.
“His face was so beet-red!” Moore told People. But he was the perfect gentleman. Recalled the actress: “I would say, ‘Please don’t let my breast be exposed.’ And he would say, ‘OK.’ If he noticed my shirt coming up over my rear, he would pull it down.”
The Aftermath
Demi Moore, Patrick SwayzeEverett Collection
A scene this distinctive is just begging to be parodied — and many have taken it for a spin, like Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake in the viral “Evolution of End Zone Dancing.” In 1991’s The Naked Gun 2 1⁄2: The Smell of Fear, Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley got behind the wheel … though close-ups revealed a surplus of hands and then (ick) feet. Snoop Dogg assisted Martha Stewart as she frosted a spinning cake for VH1, while The Bachelor indulged Peter Weber. More TV takes: Two and a Half Men, Euphoria, Community, Family Guy.
In 2023, Channing Tatum revealed his production company had bought the rights to the film, but no greenlight yet for a remake.
A New Perspective
Moore didn’t leave with the skills to DIY her dinnerware: “If you could see my sad little pots … they literally look like something that somebody does in kindergarten,” she told Seth Meyers of her souvenirs last year. “But I have my initials on them, and I treasure them.”
Where Are They Now?
We lost Swayze to pancreatic cancer in 2009. He was 57. As for Moore, 35 years after her Ghost breakthrough, she took home a best actress in a musical or comedy Golden Globe for The Substance.

Tish Cyrus is not only a proud mom of five — she’s also a doting stepmom.
The music manager, 58, is stepmother to husband Dominic Purcell’s four children from a previous marriage, including rising star Joseph Purcell, who has gone viral on TikTok in recent months thanks to his starring role in the vertical short drama His Nerd.
Joseph joined his stepmom and stepsister Brandi Cyrus on the Thursday, July 3, episode of Tish and Brandi’s “Sorry We’re Cyrus” podcast, giving listeners sweet insight into their loving relationship.
“I feel like Tish is the best person ever. I don’t know how to boil it down,” Joseph said near the end of the podcast episode.
Tish, meanwhile, got teary-eyed as she recalled Joseph’s speech at her August 2023 wedding to his dad Dominic, 55.
“My favorite thing you ever said to me [was] at the wedding,” Tish said. “He started reading his speech, and he said, ‘I never, ever wanted my dad to get remarried, and then I met Tish.’ I was like, ‘That is the sweetest thing.’”
Before tying the knot with Tish, Prison Break star Dominic was married to Rebecca Williamson, the daughter of Australian playwright David Williamson, from 1998 to 2008. They share four children, including Joseph, his sister Audrey and twins Augustus and Lily-Rose.
“I love these guys so much,” Tish said, referring to Joseph and his siblings.
Likewise, Joseph has a lot of love for his famous stepsiblings: Brandi, 38, Trace, 36, Miley, 32, Braison, 31, and Noah, 25. “You guys are so cool, the coolest stepsiblings you could ever want. Talented. Cool,” he told Brandi.
Speaking to his stepmom and stepsister, Joseph opened up about following in his dad’s acting footsteps, though he admitted that it wasn’t always the plan.
“Literally never,” Joseph responded when asked if he always wanted to be an actor.
“Because of my dad, people would always ask me if I wanted to act, and it was the one thing I never wanted to do,” he explained. “It was the only thing I didn’t want to do ’cause I was super shy as a kid, and I wanted to be a professional athlete. It didn’t happen till I was 20 that I thought maybe there was a road [in acting].”
The 4th of July is a time for fireworks and barbecue, but if you’re subscribed to Hulu, it’s also the time to watch some high-quality films.
The streamer has an extensive library of films, which is why Watch With Us has selected three underrated Hulu movies for you to watch this weekend.
If you’re craving some drama with your hot dogs, then stream Catch and Release with Jennifer Garner.
Thrill-seekers should check out Asphalt City with Sean Penn, while action fans will enjoy watching a former James Bond as a hitman in Fast Charlie.
‘Catch and Release’ (2007)
Gray’s (Jennifer Garner) fiancé, Grady, just died, and she’s understandably upset that she can’t marry the love of her life. Her sadness soon gives way to confusion and anger when she discovers during the reading of his will that he’s been giving another woman, Maureen (Juliette Lewis), $3,000 a month. Has Grady been cheating on her throughout their relationship? What other big secrets was Grady keeping from her? And how much did his best friend, Fritz (Timothy Olyphant), know about Maureen?
Catch and Release sounds very melodramatic, but it’s actually pretty low-key and grounded for a movie that deals with death, infidelity and grief. The movie mixes elements of tragedy and romance well, with the occasional welcome comedic interlude supplied by Kevin Smith, who plays Gray’s friend and housemate.
Best known for cheery rom-coms like 13 Going on 30, Garner is superb as a woman forced to work through all the stages of grief in a very short time. Her journey from mourning girlfriend to a single woman open to new possibilities is always involving and never less than entertaining.
Charlie Swift (Pierce Brosnan) is very good at his job. For more than 20 years, he’s been a professional hitman and fixer who makes all of his clients happy. But when a rival hitman kills his friends and kills him, he’s determined to get his revenge. That involves teaming up with Marcie Kramer (Morena Baccarin), the widow of a mobster whom Charlie killed not too long ago. Can she forgive and forget long enough to help Charlie?
It’s been more than two decades since Brosnan last played his signature role, James Bond, but he’s lost none of his sense of humor and style. He elevates Fast Charlie and gives the titular character a cool intelligence that makes the movie more entertaining than it would be if he hadn’t played the role. Director Phillip Noyce knows his way around an action scene, having directed the excellent ‘90s action classics Patriot Games and The Saint, and he gives this movie a slick polish that works well with the simple but effective story.
Ollie (Tye Sheridan) just started working as a paramedic in New York City, and he quickly befriends veteran coworker Gene (Sean Penn) while working brutal hours. But as Ollie learns more about Gene and experiences some pretty traumatic cases like a battered wife who refuses treatment and a heroin addict who gives birth to a stillborn baby, he’s not so sure he can handle being a first responder in the Big Apple. Can Ollie maintain some semblance of sanity — and a promising relationship with Clara (Raquel Nave) — or will he have to give up the career he always dreamed of having?
Asphalt City is a tense “day in the life” movie that showcases the dangerous side of living and working in NYC. The movie works best when it follows its two lead characters around as they respond to numerous emergency calls, all of which take a toll on both men. Penn’s always been a terrific actor, and he’s terrific as someone who has seen too much and is trying to live with the weight of all that memory. The movie is sometimes tough to watch, but it’s one of the few films to show life as it is in a big city that’s typically romanticized by such shows as And Just Like That.
Two years ago, it was the summer of Suits on Netflix, as USA Network’s legal dramedy became incredibly popular on the streamer.
In 2025, it could be the summer of hackers. Netflix just added Mr. Robot, another USA Network original series, which is about as tonally far away from Suits as it can possibly get. It’s also one of the best shows you’ve never seen.
Christian Slater plays the title character of Mr. Robot, but the real star of the series is Rami Malek. Malek also won an Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Drama for his turn as Elliot Alderson in this cyberpunk thriller.
And that’s just the first of many reasons why you should catch Mr. Robot on Netflix in July and beyond.
Elliot isn’t just the main character of Mr. Robot; he’s also constantly breaking the fourth wall as the narrator for the audience. We see what he sees and know what he knows, which isn’t always the full picture of what’s going on. The show makes it clear pretty early on that Elliot isn’t the picture of mental stability, and he’s suffering from several mental illnesses, including extreme paranoia and depression.
Malek embodies those aspects of Elliot in a very believable way while also presenting his character as a credible cybersecurity expert. The only thing that Elliot is really good at is working with computers, and that includes his after-hours activities as a hacker. Elliot will hack anyone, anytime, just to know more about the people around him. It’s his way of connecting and also a window into his inability to follow social norms. He’s a tortured genius, and Mr. Robot is going to give him the chance to change the world.
‘Mr. Robot’ Presents a Very Realistic Look At Hacking
Early in the series, Mr. Robot convinces Elliot to join his hacktivist organization, fsociety, and help him implement a plan that could bring one of the wealthiest corporations in the world to its knees. In Hollywood, hacking is often treated like a magic trick, with actors pretending they know what they’re doing while pressing a lot of keys on a keyboard.
The team behind Mr. Robot took the unusual step of actually researching how hacks are done, hiring consultants who understand that world and presenting the most realistic presentation of hacking to date. The programming language glimpsed on screen may not mean much to people who aren’t programmers, but that added touch of authenticity helps sell the illusion of the hacks Elliot and other fsociety members pull off during the show. Mr. Robot does require the audience to make a few leaps of logic, and that’s a lot easier to do so with one foot in reality.
‘Mr. Robot’ Presents the Creative Vision of One Man From Beginning To End
It would do a disservice to Mr. Robot to spoil any of its surprises, especially for first-time viewers who are about to discover the series. Rather than ruin any of those twists, it’s better to tell you that this show was born out of a feature film script by Sam Esmail, who went on to become the showrunner of Mr. Robot.
Throughout four seasons, Esmail wrote 24 episodes of Mr. Robot and directed 38 of them. Other writers did contribute to the show, but Esmail successfully oversaw the entire 45-episode run and brought the series to a satisfying conclusion. When watching the first season, you may notice that Esmail was clearly inspired by a fan-favorite cult classic film from 1999.
Rami Malek and the cast of Mr. RobotUSA Network
But if we named that movie, it would definitely take away from an important moment for the show. And because this project came to life as a series, Esmail had plenty of time to explore the ramifications of the things Elliot learned along the way.
This was perhaps the darkest show on USA Network in a long time, and it’s not going to be for everybody. Regardless, Mr. Robot has the potential to break out again on Netflix six years after it concluded. If you love binge-watching great TV shows, make this one your next pick.

Near the beginning of Wrath of Man, Patrick “H” Hill (Jason Statham) doesn’t make a very good impression with his new colleagues at an armored truck company. Hill comes off as very unremarkable and unskilled, which is exactly what he wanted to convey. But when the truck is attacked and his trainer, Bullet (Holt McCallany), is taken hostage, Hill kills all of the robbers single-handedly.
Hill’s co-workers are naturally suspicious of him after that stunt, and for good reason. As they begin looking into Hill’s past, he’s examining their history as well. Hill’s true agenda will be revealed by the end of the film, and that’s when the bullets will really start flying.
The premise of F***, Marry, Kill may give Only Murders in the Building fans a touch of déjà vu. Eva (Lucy Hale) and her single friends are a little too into true crime podcasts, especially since the Swipe Right Killer is targeting young ladies on dating apps who are just like them.
However, the search for the Swipe Right Killer really hits home for Eva when she realizes that each of her current romantic prospects — Norman (Samer Salem), Mitch (Brendan Morgan) and Kyle (Jedidiah Goodacre) — share a known characteristic of the serial killer. Eva’s attempt to investigate her beaus is going to put her life on the line in some hilarious ways. If one of them really is the Swipe Right Killer, then Eva may not live long enough to solve the mystery.
Back to the Future may be 40 in 2025, but something about this sci-fi comedy never gets old. Michael J. Fox‘s Marty McFly gets to be the first person to travel back in time from 1985 to 1955. Unfortunately for Marty, his historical expedition wasn’t by choice, and Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd) — the creator of time travel and the only man who understood how it worked — was murdered right in front of him.
In 1955, a much younger Doc Brown is still alive. But even if Doc can get Marty back to the future, there may not be any place for him in the new timeline. That’s because Marty’s mom, Lorraine Baines (Lea Thompson), didn’t meet his father, George McFly (Crispin Glover), at their fated time. Now, Lorraine is infatuated with Marty instead of George, and time’s running out for Marty to put things right.
Romeo, 22, mourned the death of Portuguese soccer star Diogo Jota via his Instagram Story on Thursday, July 3, resharing a picture of the Liverpool forward and adding four broken heart emojis. (Jota and his brother André Silvadied in a car crash in Spain in the early hours of Thursday morning. He was 28.)
In a subsequent post, Romeo ruminated, “Life is too short, love who you love and tell them how much you really do!”
“Life can flash before your eyes at any moment! But the people that truly love you and care for you will always be there…. Don’t hold back from LOVE OR APPRECIATION for ANYTHING OR ANYONE,” he continued.
Romeo’s message follows reports of a rift between the wider Beckham family and his brother, Brooklyn, 26, and Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30.
Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t take part in dad David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations in early May, and a source told Us Weekly that the couple have “not been in touch” with his parents since.
Courtesy of Romeo Beckham/Instagram
“There hasn’t been any sort of resolution from either side,” the source told Us, noting that David and wife Victoria Beckham have also not reached out to Brooklyn and Nicola.
A second source told Us in May that there is lingering “bad blood” between Nicola and Victoria, 51, stemming from Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding in April 2022.
“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the insider said. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”
Neither Brooklyn and Nicola nor David and Victoria have publicly addressed the feud rumors.
On Friday, July 4, David did, however, mention his eldest son in a sweet tribute to wife Victoria to mark their 26th wedding anniversary. “26 years today you said YES to me Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together I love you Lady Beckham,” David wrote alongside a series of throwback photos of him and Victoria. He tagged Brooklyn, Romeo and their brother Cruz, 20, in the post and used a hashtag for daughter Harper, 13, who is not on Instagram.
Even Martha Stewart knows the power and comfort of a good lounge set. The Emmy-winning television personality was recently boating, and she wore a dark khaki-colored tracksuit for the occasion.
Although we may not be heading to a boat anytime soon, a two-piece set is always a smart choice for running errands, travel and beyond. To channel our inner Stewart, we found the Caracilia Two-Piece Sweatsuit, an Amazon lookalike that’s very reasonably priced.
This expensive-looking sweatsuit consists of a half-zip sweatshirt and wide-leg pants with subtle but elevated vertical pleats to elongate the frame. You’ll feel super comfortable in the soft fabric, all while looking trés chic at school drop-off or coffee shop.
To get Stewart’s look, snag the khaki color. However, there are 13 other options, like black, navy, burgundy, pastel green and sky blue. Stewart paired her tracksuit with sneakers, which is always a safe choice. You could even venture out and try it with loafers or boots.
Real-life shoppers can’t stop buying the Caracilia sweatsuit in multiple colors, and the rave reviews make it clear as to why.
“This two-piece set looks expensive. I’m very impressed with the quality of the fabric and details,” one verified Amazon buyer wrote. “I ordered an XL, which is my usual size, and it fit as a sweatsuit should.”
“I purchased this outfit, hoping that it would be what I wanted, and it truly exceeded my expectations,” one five-star reviewer wrote. “I normally wear a large, but decided to get a medium based on the information in the size guide, and I am glad that I did because the medium fits perfectly. I have bought almost all of the colors.”
The amazing thing about matching two-piece sets is that they look so put-together, and you didn’t even have to think about it. Plus, if it’s Stewart approved, it’s approved in our book.
Get the Caracilia Two-Piece Sweatsuit for $40 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate as of the publishing date but are subject to change.

There’s no shortage of films that glorify America for the Fourth of July. For instance, two of director Roland Emmerich‘s best movies — The Patriot and Independence Day — are fan-favorite July 4th films.
But this year, the Watch With Us team is making an unconventional pick for the one movie you need to stream on July 4th — Alex Garland‘s Civil War.
This 2024 movie isn’t about the American Civil War from the 19th century. Instead, it takes place in a world that isn’t too far removed from our own.
And it’s a cautionary tale about America’s trajectory after decades of internal strife.
‘Civil War’ Is a Disturbing Look at America’s Possible Future
Leave it to an Englishman to decide that California and Texas would team up against a tyrannical federal government in Civil War. Garland is a very astute filmmaker, but that was one political alliance that didn’t seem very plausible. What seems very possible, however, is that the ongoing culture war becomes an actual war that engulfs the nation.
We’ve already had one civil war in our nation’s past, and there are still scars from that conflict that resonate today. What Civil War lacks in recognizably authentic American politics, it makes up for by offering a harsh reminder that there are no real winners in a domestic civil war. And this film serves as a reminder of everything that could be lost if there really were another civil war.
‘Civil War’ Doesn’t Shy Away From the Ugliest Aspects of War
Jesse Plemons has an unnerving cameo in Civil War as a racist militant who is more than willing to hurt people whom he decides aren’t American. It’s hard to see that scene and not think about the recent unrest over ICE roundups that have included American citizens who were arrested regardless of whether they were undocumented immigrants or not.
Plemons’ character takes that mindset to its horrifying conclusion. What makes him so terrifying is that nothing can be said to dissuade that character from unleashing violence on innocent people. He’s a monster, and Plemons plays him as an ice-cold reflection of the worst aspects of humanity.
Kirsten Dunst Gives a Career-Best Performance
Kirsten Dunst is the heart of Civil War, even though her character, Lee Smith, is a veteran war photojournalist. Lee’s been hardened by previous experiences in war zones, but even she is visibly affected by what she sees unfolding in her own country. Dunst’s face conveys the growing alarm, disgust and the deepening depression of Lee as the movie marches to its inevitable conclusion.
Dunst demonstrates the somewhat softer side of Lee through her willingness to mentor Jessie Collin (Cailee Spaeny), a young journalist who accompanies her and Joel (Wagner Moura) on a long journey to Washington D.C. for an interview with the President that may never happen. Spaeny is also quite good as Jessie, whose transformation is the fun house reflection of Lee’s. As Lee slowly breaks down throughout the film, Jessie becomes more immune to the horrific things happening around them. That leads to some haunting moments you won’t soon forget.
July is already off to a steamy start with heat waves outside and hot movies and TV shows debuting throughout the month.
If you’re looking for something to do while staying within reach of an air conditioner, why not stream a new show or movie?
Luckily, this month’s selection is both eclectic and entertaining.
Check out Watch With Us’ picks for new movies and shows coming to streaming this July, featuring actors like Uma Thurman and Adam Sandler on platforms like Netflix and Hulu.
‘The Old Guard 2’ (Now Streaming)
The eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2020 Charlize Theron action movie was just released on Netflix, and it’s just as explosive as its predecessor. Theron plays Andy, an immortal warrior who uses her unexplained powers to protect the world alongside a team of equally powerful mercenaries.
Uma Thurman and Henry Golding join the cast for the sequel, which sees Andy grappling with her waning power while former Old Guard member Quỳnh (Vân Veronica Ngô) seeks revenge on her former comrades. If you’re a fan of magic, action and found families, this one should definitely be on your watchlist.
Netflix’s answer to Discovery’s famous Shark Week programming block adds a competitive twist. In All the Sharks, four teams of aquatic experts travel the world to capture images of as many species of shark as possible. The winning team scores a $50,000 prize. With over 500 known species of shark out in the briny blue, the possibilities are endless. If you’re a fan of fins, don’t miss this reality competition series with some serious bite.
(If you’re planning on going to the beach over 4th of July weekend, you probably shouldn’t watch this one until after you get home!)
Lena Dunham (Girls) has created a new romantic comedy series starring Hacks’ Megan Stalter, and we truly can’t wait to see it. In this 10-episode series, Stalter plays Jessica, a New Yorker whose disastrous breakup leads her to upend her whole life and move to London.
Jessica has a lot of romantic ideas about what a London life should be — mostly informed by romantic comedies like Notting Hill — but the messy new life she finds doesn’t quite live up to her expectations. Neither does Felix (Will Sharpe of The White Lotus), an aloof and cynical musician with whom Jessica forms an unexpected connection. Can love — and British rom-com tropes — win the day?
This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown stars alongside Ernest Kingsley Jr. in Washington Black, a new historical adventure series based on Esi Edugyan’s bestselling novel of the same name. Spanning two timelines, the story follows Washington “Wash” Black (Kingsley), a young Black man with a gift for science and aeronautics, on a globetrotting adventure in the early 19th century after he escapes from slavery. The novel examined themes of freedom, friendship and identity — and based on the thrilling trailer, the show will be just as powerful.
The rest of the ensemble cast includes Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Rupert Graves (The War of the Worlds). Washington Black looks likely to be an emotional roller coaster, so bring your tissues.
Start practicing your golf swing, because Happy Gilmore is back! Adam Sandler’s hilarious comedy about an unrefined hockey player who rocks the uptight world of golf is getting a sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. Sandler, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald and Ben Stiller are all reprising their roles as Happy, Virginia, Shooter and Hal L., respectively.
Bad Bunny joins the cast as Happy’s new caddy, along with a slew of athletes and comedians who will make cameos — Travis Kelce, Eric André and Oliver Hudson are just a few of the confirmed appearances. Sequels can be rough, but we’re hoping Happy Gilmore 2 will deliver the laughs and nostalgia of its predecessor.
The actor, 59, recently weighed in on e.l.f. Beauty’s $1 billion acquisition of daughter Hailey Bieber’s Rhode skincare brand, which Bieber, 28, launched in 2022.
“The cool part of it is she’s super smart, smart in business,” Baldwin shared on a recent episode of “The Adam Corolla Show” podcast. “Succeeded as a model prior to everything she’s doing now. But the cool part was she actually had an offer to do something pretty big and cool in the cosmetics a couple years ago and didn’t.”
Instead, according to Baldwin, Bieber set out to make a product that she would want to use herself.
“The sweet part of my kids too is, in the wake of whatever their success is, their dad remains the same. I’ve always been the same way. You know you’re going to tell your daughter the truth,” he added.
Bieber announced e.l.f.’s acquisition of her beauty brand in May via her Instagram. The deal officially makes her a billionaire.
“When I launched [Rhode] in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing Rhode to more spaces, places and faces globally,” she wrote. “So today I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of Rhode. I found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand. I feel invigorated, excited and more ready than ever to step into an even bigger role as Chief Creative Officer, and Head of Innovation of Rhode as well as strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty.”
“Thank you to the amazing Rhode team who have helped me build over the years. I couldn’t have done it without all of you,” she continued. “And to our Rhode community, thank you for being the most supportive and for being on this journey, this next chapter is going to be even more incredible together!”
Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, celebrated the news by sharing photos of himself embracing Hailey via his Instagram.

As the 4th of July approaches, we’re getting ready for fireworks and beach barbecues.
If you feel like adding a movie to your holiday weekend plans, Netflix offers plenty of options for whatever your Independence Day vibe might be.
Watch With Us is recommending five films that approach the 4th of July from different angles — a comedic look at patriotism starring Will Ferrell, a war movie starring Tom Cruise and a documentary about Taylor Swift, to name a few.
Whatever your holiday spirit looks like, there’s a movie for it!
Born on the Fourth of July seems like an obvious pick simply because of its name, but it’s also a powerful, emotional drama — and a perfect watch for Independence Day.
Based on the true story of Vietnam War veteran Ron Kovic, the film stars Tom Cruise in one of his most critically acclaimed performances. Directed by Oliver Stone, this Oscar-winning movie dives deep into themes of patriotism, sacrifice and disillusionment as Kovic transforms from a proud Marine to an anti-war activist.
It’s a gripping reminder that loving your country sometimes means questioning it — making it a thought-provoking July 4 pick.
Whether you’re a die-hard Swiftie or not, there’s no denying that Taylor Swift has become one of America’s most influential cultural figures.
In this documentary, which explores her growth as both an artist and a person, she examines her own relationship to patriotism as she decides to speak out about politics for the first time. It’s a fascinating look at a once-in-a-generation artist.
After all, there’s nothing more American than freedom of speech.
The Notebook isn’t an obvious 4th of July pick, but its old-school Americana aesthetic, World War II plotline and epic love story earn it a spot on this list.
Besides, if you don’t feel fireworks when Noah (Ryan Gosling) and Allie (Rachel McAdams) kiss, you’re probably just not paying attention.
The Notebook follows this star-crossed couple — working-class Noah and heiress Allie — over decades as social class and misunderstandings keep them apart. But the moving movie assures us that love conquers all.
Stereotypical Barbie (Margot Robbie) must leave the feminist utopia that is Barbieland and venture to the Real World, where she learns that “all problems of feminism and equal rights” have actually not been solved by Barbie dolls.
In addition to its social commentary about the nature of womanhood, Barbie is also a hilarious satire of American corporate culture, so it’s also a great one to enjoy if you’ve got the day off from your Real World job.
Americans have the 4th of July — but how do other nations celebrate their patriotism? With the Eurovision Song Contest, of course!
This over-the-top comedy starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams lovingly mocks the global phenomenon that is Eurovision, following Lars and Sigrid as they attempt to win the competition on behalf of their small town of Húsavík, Iceland.
The colorful cast of characters is more vibrant than any fireworks display and includes Dan Stevens as a Russian Eurovision singer, Pierce Brosnan as Lars’ disapproving father, and several real Eurovision winners from past decades.
It’s unapologetically silly in the way that Ferrell does best, and if you’re not feeling particularly patriotic right now, it’s a great way to transport yourself around the globe.
Whether you’re a big fan of patriotism or you just like having the day off from work, this summer holiday is the perfect excuse to celebrate with a great movie.
These five films — all available on Amazon Prime Video — hit the Independence Day theme from different angles.
Read on to learn what the Watch With Us team believes makes a 4th of July movie — and which ones you should watch this weekend.
This teen movie starring Aubrey Plaza is all about one girl’s last summer before college, and that carefree summer vibe makes it a 4th of July flick to us. Maisy Stella plays Elliott, a teenager who hopes to spend the summer hanging out with her friends and hooking up with her longtime crush, Chelsea. But her plans change when she takes magic mushrooms and winds up face to face with an older version of herself (Plaza).
Taking advice from her “Old Ass,” she tries to make the most of her last remaining days with her family. She also fights her growing attraction to Chad (Percy Hynes White), a seemingly lovely guy whom her older self warns her to avoid at all costs. This beautiful coming-of-age story will make you cherish the remaining days of summer, no matter how old you are.
Not only does this movie have “American” in the title, it’s a great supplemental entertainment if you like spending the 4th on the beach with a great book. (American Fiction is based on Percival Everett’s novel Erasure.) Jeffrey Wright plays Thelonious “Monk” Ellison, a Black writer and professor who grows frustrated with stereotypical “Black” books — many of which he feels pander to stereotypes — flooding the market. As a joke, he writes the most cliched, stereotypical book he can think of, only to have it become a bestseller.
At the same time, Monk reckons with the problems in his estranged family by cleaning out his mother’s old beach house. It’s a darkly comedic movie about race and class in American culture that won a well-deserved Oscar for best adapted screenplay. The excellent supporting cast includes Sterling K. Brown and Issa Rae, who add both depth and humor to the film.
If summer sports are your jam and you plan to spend the 4th watching Wimbledon, we suggest Challengers as your weekend movie. This sizzling dramedy from Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a promising and dedicated tennis player who forms a long-standing love triangle with two best friends.
The movie examines Art (Mike Faist) and Patrick (Josh O’Connor) and their complicated relationships with tennis, Tashi and each other. It’s a sexy and funny movie that will have your head reeling — or perhaps turning from side to side like you’re watching a ball travel up and down the court. The tension is as attention-grabbing as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at last year’s U.S. Open.
If you’d like to take the drama out of politics and imagine a cheerier version of international relations on Independence Day, Red, White & Royal Blue is just the ticket. This Amazon original rom-com follows Alex, First Son of the United States (Taylor Zakhar Perez), and Prince Henry, third in line to the British throne (Nicholas Galitzine). Their mutual dislike leads to a scandal, which in turn leads to a classic PR solution — Alex and Henry will pretend to be best buds.
What no one counted on was the two young men falling in love. As they face the expectations of their respective countries and families, Alex and Henry must reckon with their identities — both national and personal. It’s a warm and sweet rom-com that feels like a modern fairy tale.
If you’re looking for a more serious and emotional watch this 4th of July, Saving Private Ryan delivers. This powerful war epic from Steven Spielberg stars Tom Hanks as a captain leading a team of soldiers behind enemy lines during WWII to rescue one man — Private James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon).
With gritty realism, heartbreaking performances and themes of duty, sacrifice and patriotism, it’s a moving reminder of the real lives behind American freedom. It’s not light viewing, but it’s absolutely essential.
Posting via Instagram on Friday, July 4, the soccer star, 50, shared a carousel of photos of his relationship journey with the fashion designer as he celebrated their 26th anniversary.
Among the images shared by David were photos from the couple’s wedding day, photos of the former Spice Girl cozying up to their children in their younger years as well as various snaps of the couple together over the decades. (The couple met in 1997 and wed two years later before renewing their vows in 2006.)
“26 years today you said YES to me Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together I love you Lady Beckham ,” David gushed in the caption, addressing Victoria with the new title she obtained when the athlete received a knighthood in June.
David tagged Victoria, 51, the couple’s three sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, and used a hashtag for daughter Harper, 13, who does not have Instagram.
Victoria also shared her own anniversary post via Instagram, writing, “Another year, another chapter in our love story. I’m so proud of the beautiful family and life we’ve built together. You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much @davidbeckham xx Here’s to 26 years!! xx.”
Although David tagged Brooklyn in the post that shared his gratitude for his children, there have been ongoing reports of a family rift between the Beckham family and Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
Brooklyn and Nicola skipped David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May, and an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that the young couple have “not been in touch” with his parents since then.

“There hasn’t been any sort of resolution from either side,” the source told Us, adding that David and Victoria have also not reached out.
For Father’s Day, David included Brooklyn as well as his other children in a post to mark the occasion.
“My most important and favorite job in life is being a dad,” he captioned photos of his four kids via Instagram on June 15. “I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day, I will always be here for you no matter what. Mummy, thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father. There is no greater gift in life than making me a dad. Happy Father’s Day. I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.
Both Romeo and Cruz shared tribute posts to their dad for Father’s Day, but Brooklyn did not.
Similarly, when David was awarded the prestigious knighthood honor last month, Romeo and Cruz publicly acknowledged the big day for their father while Brooklyn remained silent on his social media.
“I’m so proud of you, Dad, I love you,” Cruz wrote via his Instagram Stories on June 14. “Sir David Beckham has a nice ring to it!”
Romeo added on his own account, “So so proud of you.”
