3 Underrated Netflix Movies to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

9 May 2025 at 10:45

In the first week of May, Netflix added a lot of movies to its library. The Twilight movies returned to the streamer and instantly entered Netflix’s most popular movies list for the week.

The 2024 comedy hit Beetlejuice Beetlejuice also debuted this week on Netflix after streaming exclusively on Max earlier this year. These movies all have their fans, but there are several films on Netflix that deserve more love and attention.

Among them are a recent action movie that is very similar to a ‘90s Keanu Reeves classic, a 1980s comedy that has just been remade as a limited series and a comic book adaptation starring Tilda Swinton as an androgynous angel.

‘Bullet Train Explosion’ (2025)

Mild-mannered train operator Chika Matsumoto (Non) is good at his job, but his skills are about to be tested when an anonymous caller informs his station that there’s a bomb on his train that will explode if the speed drops below 62 mph. To make matters worse, some of the train’s passengers find out about the bomb, and begin either panicking or live-streaming the drama on board. Can Chika keep the train running — and in one piece — in time for the authorities to find the person behind the bomb threats?

3 Underrated Amazon Prime Video Movies to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

If you think Bullet Train Explosion’s plot sounds awfully familiar, you’re right. The movie is essentially Speed on a Japanese train, and it doesn’t hide it. A lot can be forgiven if a movie is good, though, and Bullet Train Explosion earns its absolution by being a fun, breezy action flick to watch on a lazy afternoon. The movie was briefly one of Netflix’s most popular movies last month, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Bullet Train Explosion is streaming on Netflix.

‘Constantine’ (2005)

When it was released in February 2005, Constantine got a lot of hate, primarily for daring to cast the very dark-haired, very American Keanu Reeves in the title role of the very blond, very British supernatural detective, John Constantine. While Reeves is miscast, that doesn’t really harm the movie, which is still as fun and freaky 20 years later.

A spear that pierced Jesus Christ is being used to unlock the gates of Hell and the only person to stop it is John Constantine (Reeves). But his time on Earth is almost over due to a nasty smoking habit that’s caused him terminal lung cancer. Constantine strikes a deal with the archangel Gabriel (Tilda Swinton) for more time to investigate, but will he find the mysterious person — and save the city — before it’s too late?

Constantine is streaming on Netflix.

‘The Four Seasons’ (1981)

Netflix just released a much-publicized series remake of the 1981 comedy, The Four Seasons, so it’s only fitting that we should recommend it. And there’s plenty to recommend here: a talented cast led by two comedy legends, a visual storytelling that embraces naturalism over glossy production values and a witty script full of tossed-off jokes and observations about love and marriage.

18 New Movies to Watch This Weekend on Netflix, Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime, More

Throughout the year, three middle-class New York couples vacation together, but their tight-knit group is disrupted when one of the couples decides to divorce. It’s particularly unsettling for Jack and Kate Burroughs (Alan Alda and Carol Burnett), whose marriage isn’t as rock-solid as they initially thought. Will their union survive the changing of the four seasons?

Shirtless Jason Kelce Shows Off His 25 Pound Weight Loss at Truist Pro-Am

9 May 2025 at 10:31

Jason Kelce showed off his recent weight loss during a wardrobe malfunction at the 2025 Truist Championship pro-am.

Kelce, 37, was shirtless while struggling to put on his polo before his round at Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course on Wednesday, May 7.

“Good start to the day,” Kelce joked while he finagled the garment in a video via Instagram posted by the PGA Tour. “Classy establishment.”

Once he finally got the shirt over his head, Kelce realized his next error. “It’s backwards,” he said, as those surrounding him broke out in laughter.

Jason Kelce Has Cutest Response to Golfer Whose Daughter Is a Swiftie

On the practice green, somebody told Kelce, “You’ve lost a little weight.”

“I’m trying,” Kelce said, revealing he had trimmed down to 270 pounds after playing at 295 during his NFL career.

In June 2024, three months after announcing his retirement, Kelce said he had already begun the process of getting leaner.

“Right now, I’m about 277. I’m almost 20 pounds down right now,” Kelce told GQ at the time. “It’s hard to imagine another nearly 20 pounds coming off, being honest with you. But my back already feels better. My knees already feel better. So another 20 pounds hopefully will make that much more adept at playing with my children.”

Since then, Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, welcomed their fourth daughter, Finnley “Finn,” in March 2025. Jason and Kylie, 33, also share daughters Wyatt, 5, Ellie, 3, and Bennett, 2.

During his pro-am round on Wednesday, Jason told his partner, Irish golfer Shane Lowry, about his full house back at home.

“It’s chaos, but in the best way, though,” Jason said.

During a candid moment in the midst of their round, Lowry, 38, asked Jason about “retired life.”

“I was talking to Tom Brady at the Super Bowl,” Jason said. “He looked at me [and said], ‘Nothing replaces playing.’”

Jason Kelce Admits He 'Forgot All About' Mother's Day After 4th Baby

That might explain why Jason is keen to golf. While walking the course on Wednesday, Jason opened up about a recent Reddit post he made, in which he attempted to source advice about his swing.

“I thought it would be a fun video to see if Reddit could actually make me a better golfer,” Jason explained. “We’re going to give it 30 days. The main bit of advice so far that almost everybody has told me is that I’m swinging entirely too hard. And then I’m also a heavy over-the-top person through and through.”

Jason also tried getting some suggestions on his swing from PGA star Justin Thomas

“I’m trying to get better, man,” Jason told him. “[I’m] heavy over the top, don’t know if you can tell by looking at me.”

Princess Diana’s Quotes About Sons William and Harry Before Her Death

9 May 2025 at 10:30

Princess Diana was a doting mother to sons Prince William and Prince Harry before her August 1997 death.

“My childhood, I remember, was filled with laughter, filled with happiness, and filled with adventure,” Harry recalled during his 2022 Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan.

Harry was 12 and William was 15 when their mother died at age 36 following a car crash in Paris. Both boys spoke candidly about Diana during the 2017 HBO documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.

“I miss that feeling, I miss having that mother to give you those hugs and that compassion that everyone needs,” Harry said, in part. “Behind closed doors, she was a very loving, caring mother and an incredibly funny person. I think she lived a lot of her life, especially in private, through us and I think that childish fun element really came out when she was spending time with us.”

Keep scrolling to look back at Diana’s sweetest quotes about William and Harry before her death:

Embracing Motherhood

“Most importantly, [my role is] being a mother and a wife,” Diana declared in a 1985 interview. “That’s what I try to achieve; whether I do is another thing, but I do try.”

She also stated: “I live for my sons. I would be lost without them.”

Taking Them to School

Diana famously took her children to school, recalling the moment she sent William off for the first time in September 1985.

“I was [a little sad] because it’s opening another chapter in my life and certainly William’s,” she shared at the time. “But he’s ready for it. He’s a very independent child.”

Putting Them 1st

“I will fight for my children on any level so they can reach their potential as human beings, and in their public duties,” Diana said in a 1995 interview.

Her Advice to William

In the same 1995 interview, which aired via BBC1, Diana revealed a piece of advice she shared with her eldest son.

“I went to the school and put it to William, particularly, that if you find someone you love in life, you must hang onto it and look after it,” she said. “And if you were lucky enough to find someone who loved you, then you must protect it.”

William married Princess Kate Middleton in April 2011, and they share three kids: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Her Final Call

Diana’s longtime friend Richard Kay revealed that her last phone call with him was about William and Harry. They spoke shortly before her 1997 death.

“The police said that the last call she made was to me,” he said in a 2021 documentary, revealing that Diana was “in quite a good place,” but “she wanted to come back and see her boys.”

Why Kristen Doute Commends Stassi Schroeder for Working With LVP Again

9 May 2025 at 10:29

Kristen Doute had a surprising response to Stassi Schroeder reuniting with Lisa Vanderpump for Vanderpump Villa after their respective Vanderpump Rules exits.

During the Thursday, May 8, episode of the “Housewives Nightcap” podcast, Kristen, 42, weighed in on Stassi, 36, and Lisa’s new collaboration, saying, “No [I am not surprised] because Stassi is going to get her own show — good for her.”

Kristen understood where Stassi was coming from.

“If you have to swallow that pill to do what’s best for you, your family and for your career then get it,” Kristen added. “I commend her because I don’t know if I could have done it. I really don’t.”

Where Does the 'Pump Rules' Cast Stand With Stassi Schroeder?

She continued: “I think my ego and my pride would have taken the best of me if someone offered me something like that. So I’m like, ‘Good for you girl. Look at the bigger picture.'”

Kristen and Stassi were original cast members on Vanderpump Rules when it debuted in 2013. They were both fired in June 2020 due to past racially insensitive behavior toward former costar Faith Stowers. Kristen broke her silence on the scandal one month later.

Lester Cohen/WireImage

“I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned is that I have so much to learn,” she said on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast in July 2020. “I know that’s super cliché and a lot of people say that, but it’s absolutely true, because I think that I thought that I understood racism, but now I’m really learning about unconscious bias. Learning about anti-racism. Learning about how we can do things locally to really truly make changes and putting work into your community locally to make those changes I think [are] so important.”

Stassi later addressed the “huge” mistakes that led to her departure from Bravo. “Just imagine making a terrible mistake, but one that has nothing to do with how good you are at your job. And one that doesn’t truly reflect who you are,” she wrote in her 2022 memoir, Off With My Head. “You’re told to stay quiet. You’re already ashamed of the mistake you made. You already want to fix it. But on top of that, every single person you know or have ever met knows about this mistake.”

Kristen has since made her reality TV return with The Valley, which is currently airing its second season and also stars VPR alums Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.

Stassi, meanwhile, was at the center of season 2 of Lisa’s Hulu series Vanderpump Villa. Stassi additionally signed a larger deal with Hulu that includes her own show, Stassi Says. The half-hour docucomedy is currently in development.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast: Then and Now

Despite both returning to the reality TV space, Kristen and Stassi have not remained as close as they were in the past.

“The last time I talked to her [was] like a year ago. When [Luke Broderick and I] had our pregnancy loss, she was texting me pretty often and being very loving,” Kristen, who is currently expecting a baby with fiancé Luke Broderick, told Alex Baskin on a January episode of his “Bravo’s Hot Mic” podcast. “It was the way I think she just naturally is, especially because we were in each other’s lives and were very close for so long.”

The former costars interacted once more after that. “Since then — as of today — we haven’t spoken since her anniversary [with husband Beau Clark],” Kristen added. “I texted her and she was like, ‘Oh, you introduced us.'”

Kristen clarified there is “no hate” between her and Stassi, saying, “It’s just how people grow apart. She has two kids and a huge taxing career that keeps her very busy. She has a husband and she has a different group of friends.”

The New Pope Is Just Like Us! 6 Reasons Why

9 May 2025 at 10:24

When Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected as the 267th pope of the Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, May 8 — taking the name Pope Leo XIV and making history as the first-ever pope from America — our Stars: They’re Just Us! team had just one question: How Just Like Us is the new pope?

There were some good signs: Reverend Mark Francis, a friend of Prevost since the 1970s, described his pal as a solid supporter of his predecessor Pope Francis’ commitment to social justice issues. “He was always friendly and warm and remained a voice of common sense and practical concerns for the poor,” Reverend Francis told Reuters.

Fortunately, we’ve uncovered even more evidence that Pope Leo, 69, is indeed a pontiff of the people.

Scroll on for examples of what makes him so refreshingly relatable:

He Plays Word Games!

While preparing for the voting sessions at the Sistine Chapel, Pope Leo distracted himself from the stress by playing online word games with his brother John Prevost.

“First we do Wordle because this is a regular thing, then we do Words with Friends,” John told NBC News. “It’s something to keep his mind of life in the real world.”

If 2024’s Oscar-nominated drama Conclave helped you understand the papal election process, you’re in good company: John revealed that he asked his brother if he’d watched the fictional drama — which stars Ralph Fiennes as a cardinal who organizes his eligible cohorts to elect the next pope — in order to prepare. The answer was yes! “And he had just finished watching the movie Conclave, so he knew how to behave,” John said. But will the new Pope leave a Letterboxd review?

He Loves Charlie Brown and Snoopy!

In May of 2020, Pope Leo (under his @drprevost handle) reposted a Peanuts panel meme to X. The comic strip (written in Spanish) depicted a conversation between Charlie Brown and his beloved dog, Snoopy, as they enjoyed a lake view while sitting on a pier. Charlie asked, “Snoopy the Dog, there are a lot of smart people?” — and Snoopy cleverly replied, “Of course there are, but most of them are asymptomatic!” (We take it that Pope Leo is a dog person!)

He’s a Baseball Fan!

Pope Leo is a Chicago native, which leads to the inevitable question of which hometown Major League Baseball team he prefers. So, does the new Pope root for the Cubs or the White Sox? It looks like the Sox win this one: According to his brother, the current pope has “never, ever been a Cubs fan.”

“I don’t know where that came from,” John told local outlet WGN. “He was always a Sox fan.”

Paul Pierce Walks 20 Miles to FOX Studios After Celtics’ Playoff Loss

9 May 2025 at 10:16

Paul Pierce is a man of his word.

The Boston Celtics legend and current NBA analyst walked 20 miles from his home to the Fox Sports studio after his former team lost Game 2 of its Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the New York Knicks.

Pierce, 47, promised to make the trip on foot after the Celtics blew a 20-point lead to the Knicks in Game 1, dropping the series opener at home.

“If the Celtics lose Game 2 at home, I’m walking here tomorrow, 15 miles!” he said on TV after the game. “In my robe, no shoes on, barefoot. … Put the house on this game.”

He added that fans had a better chance of “seeing a dinosaur” outside than the Celtics losing Game 2.

Amazingly, the Celtics blew another 20-point lead in Game 2 as the Knicks escaped with a 91-90 win.

Pierce began his trek — robe and all — on Thursday morning, May 8, documenting the walk for his followers via Instagram.

“Alright, time for me to get to steppin,” he said in his first post, around 5 a.m. ET.

He continued to update followers on his progress, stopping along the way to take pictures with fans, do some sponsored content for DoorDash, say hi to friends and ask followers who may encounter him on the street to bring water.

Pierce arrived at the studio at 12:38 p.m., confidently promising, “I’m never doing this again.”

His Fox colleagues even had an inflatable dinosaur waiting for him, causing him to joke, “I guess they’re real.”

Speak, the show he hosts on FS1 with Keyshawn Johnson and Joy Taylor, had some fun at Pierce’s expense. The show shared video of Pierce entering the studio in a wheelchair as the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme played in the background and fans waved Celtics-colored pom-poms lining his path.

“I made it, y’all,” Pierce proudly declared as he approached the desk.

Pierce also shared screenshots of his phone from his journey, which showed the path he took on the 20.2-mile walk, which took him eight hours and two minutes. He took 33,465 steps along the way, according to another screenshot.

One day later, Pierce seems to be feeling the effects. He posted, “Damn my feet huuuuuurt,” via X on Friday afternoon.

The Knicks vs. Celtics series now shifts to New York City as the two teams will square off in Game 3 Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET.

3 Underrated Netflix Shows to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

9 May 2025 at 10:00

For the second weekend of the month, Netflix’s most popular shows include wildly different series that have almost nothing in common with each other.

But that also illustrates the strength of Netflix‘s programming, where even a South African revenge thriller can become one of the top 10 shows worldwide.

The Watch With Us team has put together our choices for the three underrated shows to watch this weekend.

This week’s picks include an emotionally moving update of a classic young adult novel, the second season of a Netflix original and a horror show on loan from AMC.

5 Great New Netflix Shows to Watch in May 2025

‘Forever’ (2025)

If you’ve ever read Judy Blume‘s 1975 YA novel Forever, then you might get the gist of this newly released Netflix series. But Blume’s beloved novel has been completely re-imagined by showrunner Mara Brock Akil into a modern love story between two Black teenagers, Justin Edwards (Michael Cooper Jr.) and Keisha Clark (Lovie Simone).

Justine and Keisha both come from loving homes, and they’re both high school athletes with bright futures. They also feel the weight of the relentless pressure to live up to the expectations that have been placed upon them. It’s hard for Keisha and Justin to figure out what they really want to do with their lives when they’ve got the weight of the world on their shoulders. Sometimes those outside pressures push them away from each other. But they always seem to find their way back together, even as the end of high school threatens to end their blossoming romance.

Forever is streaming on Netflix.

‘Unseen’ (2023 – Present)

In the first season of Unseen, Zenzi Mwale (Gail Mabalane) was hellbent on finding her husband after his disappearance. Failing that, Zenzi went on a rampage through South Africa’s criminal underworld to get her revenge. She was literally talked off a ledge at the end of last season, but Unseen season 2 finds her trapped in prison and portrayed as a serial killer by the media.

3 Must-Watch TV Shows Coming to Netflix in May 2025

Although Zenzi’s future seems pretty bleak, she has a chance to earn her freedom if she cooperates in an investigation of Andrew Harting (Frank Rautenbach), a corrupt South African billionaire who may remind you of some prominent real-life billionaire who is also from South Africa. The odds are stacked against Zenzi, but now she has a reason to live again if she can see this mission through to the end.

Unseen is streaming on Netflix.

‘The Terror’ (2018 – Present)

There are three seasons of The Terror, each with its own standalone horror story. Season 3 will premiere on AMC later this year, but Netflix only has the first season of the acclaimed series. In 1846, two British ships, the HMS Erebus and the HMS Terror, set out for the Arctic under the command of Sir John Franklin (Ciarán Hinds) and Francis Crozier (Jared Harris). The expedition was supposed to travel through the Northwest Passage, but too much ice stranded both ships for the winter.

When winter passes, the ships remain stuck. But now the men are turning on each other, supplies are low, and there may be a supernatural monster preying upon the remaining crew members. You’ll have to watch the show to learn more about the monster, but regardless of its origins, it’s a very real threat to the survival of the two crews.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Slash $8 Million From Beverly Hills Mansion

9 May 2025 at 09:38

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have slashed the price on their Beverly Hills mansion following their split.

Us Weekly can confirm that the listing price for the sprawling home — which has 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms — was reduced from $68 million to $59.9 million in recent real estate listings. (People was the first to report the price reduction.)

While the price tag is still hefty, Affleck and Lopez’s 38,000-square-foot house features a tennis court, a boxing ring and athletics facility, and a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse. The property includes a separate caretaker’s residence and a 12-car garage, with parking options for up to 80 people as well.

Us Weekly exclusively reported that Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, purchased the Beverly Hills mansion for $60.8 million in June 2023 — which means they’d take a loss of more than $800,00 if it sells for $59.9 million. Us also reported in April that the pair were at odds over selling their Beverly Hills property because Lopez was resistant to reducing the price.

“Jennifer thinks they can get more money for the home, so she wants to keep the price as is,” a source exclusively told Us. “But the real estate market is not there, and it’s not selling.”

In March, property records indicated that Lopez purchased a new home in the Los Angeles area as she navigated her split from Affleck. The Hustlers actress filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024 on the two-year anniversary of their Georgia marriage celebration. (The former couple legally tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022 and held a reception for their family and friends in Georgia the following month.)

Lopez reflected on the difficulty she faced over the past year — and how she addressed it with her and ex husband Marc Anthony’s children, Emme and Max, both 17 — in a recent interview.

Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner Reunite at Kids' Play After J. Lo Divorce

“I had a really tough year. Unexpected things happened. And so, I read a lot of books. I did a lot of self-introspection,” the singer, 55 told El País. “I did meditation. I prayed a lot. I wanted to improve my relationship with God. I wanted to kind of really solidify the family unit that is me and my two children, my twins.”

She went on, “[I told the kids], ‘I promise you, this is a difficult time, but you’re going to see that I’ll come out the other side stronger and better.’ I promised them that and I did it. And they feel it now. That gives me a great sense of peace in my life.”

Meanwhile, Affleck offered a light-hearted response to being called “Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor” by a photographer while out to dinner in Los Angeles this week. He joked that he felt “muy bien” — which translates from Spanish to English to “very good” — about his eligible bachelor status and insisted that he “of course” was still open to dating Latina women.

Jennifer Lopez Covers Up Bennifer Commitment Tattoo on Red Carpet

Affleck also recently shared that he felt “a lot of empathy” and kinship with Britney Spears over the difficulty they’d both faced in the limelight. (Spears spent 13 years under a conservatorship until it was terminated in November 2021, while Affleck has undergone several high-profile romantic splits and has been on a longterm sobriety journey.)

“I can remember a long time ago, years and years ago, I really had a lot of empathy for Britney Spears,” Affleck said on Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast in May. “That’s not somebody [who] I knew or hung out with, but you see all this s*** that comes through. Having had my own experiences myself, I knew that these are people following her around in a time where she may or may not be having difficulty.”

The Accountant 2 actor added, “I don’t know her, but I do know that the cycle of having people harang you and yell at you and hassle you and follow you, it seemed like that itself was whipping up the whole thing into a tizzy. They’re, kind of, poking a stick at it. That’s the first time I thought, ‘This is a weird, kind of, unintentional culturally, but [also] collective cruelty,’ where what’s taken out of the image that you see are the people around you waving the stick at the tiger and all you see is the growling animal.”

3 Underrated Peacock Movies to Watch This Weekend (May 9-11)

9 May 2025 at 09:30

It’s Mother’s Day weekend, so it’s only fitting that the Watch With Us team has been on the lookout for some appropriate movie choices for this weekend.

Peacock actually has one of the many movies that share the name Mother’s Day, but we found two better examples for this week’s movie picks.

One of the three underrated Peacock movies to watch this weekend explores the relationship between a mother and her adult children, while another focuses on a mother and her young daughter.

But if you’re looking for an action comedy to enjoy during the unofficial holiday weekend, Ke Huy Quan‘s Love Hurts has just made its streaming premiere on Peacock.

8 Must-Watch Movies on Peacock Right Now (May 2025)

‘Love Hurts’ (2025)

Ke Huy Quan’s comeback hit a little snag when Love Hurts didn’t do very well in theaters. But it’s worth a second look now that it’s streaming. Quan plays Marvin Gable, a man who has already paid a high price for love. He fell hard for Rose Carlisle (Ariana DeBose), a lawyer he was supposed to kill. Instead of seeing that contract through, Marvin walked away from his life as an assassin and reinvented himself as a real estate agent, even though it alienated his brother, Alvin “Knuckles” Gable (Daniel Wu).

As far as Knuckles is concerned, Marvin betrayed the family when he turned his back on him. When Rose makes contact with Marvin, Knuckles sends assassins to get her location from him so he can finish the job. Instead of intimidating Marvin, these killers drag him back into the life he left behind and towards an inevitable showdown with Knuckles.

Love Hurts is streaming on Peacock.

‘I’ll Be Right There’ (2024)

The SopranosEdie Falco takes the lead in I’ll Be Right There, a drama in which her character, Wanda Jeannie, is constantly attending to her adult children, Mark (Charlie Tahan) and Grace (Jeannie Berlin), to help them fix the problems in their lives that they can’t handle themselves — which happens a lot.

What’s New on Peacock in May 2025

Wanda has spread herself so thin that not even having two different lovers, Marshall (Michael Rapaport) and Sophie (Sepideh Moafi), is emotionally fulfilling. Wanda needs to find some balance in her life that won’t let her children dominate her time. But she just can’t seem to bring herself to fight that battle.

I’ll Be Right There is streaming on Peacock.

‘Proxima’ (2019)

Eva Green is an actress who can pull off almost any role, and she’s once again mesmerizing to watch in Proxima. Green portrays Sarah Loreau, a woman who is on the cusp of achieving her dream of being an astronaut by training to spend a year on the International Space Station. However, the price of Sarah’s ambition is that she will be separated from her young daughter, Stella (Zélie Boulant-Lemesle), for the entire journey.

Stella really doesn’t make Sarah’s plans easy for her, and the emotional toll is weighing the worried mother down while her astronaut team leader, Mike Shannon (Matt Dillon), treats her with open hostility. Sarah can handle the intense training and unfair boss, but can she reconcile her relationship with her daughter before it becomes irreparably fractured?

Proxima is streaming on Peacock.

HSN viewers are preparing to say goodbye to a few of their favorite shopping buddies.

On Friday, May 9, the home shopping network announced several hosts will be leaving ahead of the company’s big move to Pennsylvania.

“Over the coming months, we will be saying farewell to Natasha Lloyd, Helen Keaney, Amy Morrison, Lynn Murphy, Marlo Smith, Valerie Stup, Rebecca Vargas, Michelle Yarn and Guy Yovan,” HSN wrote via Facebook. “We will also have new faces joining our talented team of hosts and we look forward to introducing them to you soon!”

Back in January, HSN announced its headquarters would be leaving St. Petersburg, Florida, after nearly 50 years.

QVC’s Most Memorable Hosts: Where Are They Now?

Hosts and staffers would be able to relocate with sister network QVC to West Chester, Pennsylvania, which is home to their parent company, Qurate Retail.

At the time, Qurate said the consolidation is part of a shift to focus on “live social shopping” under the rebrand of QVC Group. HSN and QVC, however, will still operate as separate brands.

“In a million years, I would never have imagined that 42 years ago today when I was hired at a tiny, crazy channel that sold things on radio and TV, that I would still be here today!” Carter wrote via Facebook on February 7. “I have said many times how lucky I am to have had this journey. … The people I have met, the friends I have made, the experiences of a lifetime and hopefully I have touched people’s lives along the way. I will be forever grateful! Thank you for blessing me with this incredible life of TV retail! Although our building will be gone, HSN and our family will still be here for you.”

Although viewers can expect some changes when they watch HSN in the coming months, the shopping network — home to Curtis Stone, Giuliana Rancic, Christie Brinkley, Joy Mangano and more celebrity lines — promises that the shopping will go on.

“Thank you for being part of our HSN family — as we’ve been saying, HSN is moving…but we’re not going anywhere!” the network’s Facebook post stated. “We can’t wait to continue bringing you innovative products, captivating content and unforgettable moments.”

What the Duggar Children Have Said About Potentially Having 19 Kids

9 May 2025 at 09:09

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are proud parents of 19 children — and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

“We didn’t start out wanting a large family, but God changed our minds and we have been open to life ever since,” Jim Bob said on the Today show in 2010. “We know that we’ve been very fortunate in terms of Michelle’s health because it has always been good, except for feeling like she doesn’t run around after the kids now that she’s 43, as she used to do when she was in her 20s.”

Jim Bob and Michelle raised their kids following the controversial IBLP religion, which included homeschool classes, modesty restrictions and dating via traditional courtships. The Duggars chronicled their life as a large family on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting docuseries and its Counting On spinoff.

Since Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids — all of whom have “J” names — grew up, many of them have taken a step back from the IBLP while expanding their own families.

The Duggars: A Comprehensive Guide to the Famous Family

“I mean, sometimes things are trial and error,” Jinger, who shares three children with husband Jeremy Vuolo, exclusively told Us Weekly in February 2023 of their parenting guidelines. “I want to equip them for life and give them the best possible lives that I can and point them to the word of God.”

She added, “And then, at the end of the day, I think that they will grow and mature. [For example,] I don’t think that courtship is a word that we’re gonna use with them at all because I don’t think that that’s the only way to find a spouse — or the best way — at all.”

Jinger and Vuolo share Felicity (born 2018), Evangeline (born 2020) and Finnegan (born 2025), with no plans to follow in her parents’ footsteps of 19. See what her siblings have said about expanding their own broods:

Jill is married to Derick Dillard, welcoming sons Israel, Samuel and Freddy in 2015, 2017, and 2022, respectively. The couple, who have also suffered multiple pregnancy losses, remain on the fence about having more children.

“We would love more kids if God chooses to give us more,” Jill said in a September 2020 YouTube video. “I don’t know that we have a number, [but] probably not 20 kids. Again, we’re not going to rule anything out, like, if God has us run an orphanage or something.”

Jessa Duggar

Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, share five children: Spurgeon (born 2015), Henry (born 2017), Ivy (born 2019), Fern (born 2021) and George (born 2023), plus are expecting another baby in 2025.

In a May 2025 social media video, Jessa addressed comments that the couple are “breeding like rabbits” and “trying to follow in [her] mom’s footsteps.”

“I’m not going to have 19 kids, but honestly, my mom is my hero. I love her, I adore her [and] she is my role model in so many ways,” Jessa said. “Her patience, her love, her gentleness [and] her kind speech. She is the golden example of a mother, in my opinion. So, when people say, ‘Do you want to be like your mother?’ I’m like, ‘Yes, please, Lord, help me.’”

Less than one year after Jason married Maddie Duggar in October 2024, they revealed that they don’t want to have children “for a little while.”

“I love kids, but I don’t want any right now,” Maddie said in an April 2025 YouTube Q&A video. “I want to savor this and just get to know each other.”

According to Maddie, she would want to have no more than six kids once they are ready to expand their family.

“Absolutely not,” Maddie said, responding to a question about whether 19 could be the magic number. “That’s too many for me. I think your mom is an absolute angel for being able to do that because I couldn’t.”

Jinger Duggar

On a January 2025 episode of the “Unplanned” podcast, Jinger proclaimed that she and Vuolo are “not having 19” little ones. She did think that some of her siblings, however, could get there.

“It’s very possible,” Jinger said. “So, get this: One of my brothers [Jedidiah Duggar] is a twin, OK? He and his wife [Katey Duggar are] pregnant with twins, and their twins are going to be born before their oldest turns 3, so they’re going to have four under the age of 2, so it’s possible.”

Jed and his wife, Katey, welcomed son Truett, daughter Nora and twin daughters Elsie and Emma in 2022, 2023 and 2025, respectively. After becoming parents of four, they are uncertain about the next steps.

“We are just praying about each one and we’re just loving life and very excited for each one that God’s given us this far,” Jed said in a December 2024 YouTube video. “We’re not really sure yet. We’re just praying each time, like, asking God, ‘OK, what’s the timing for everything?’”

Jed further noted that the couple are “very open” to a potential baby No. 5 — but didn’t disclose whether 19 could be in the cards.

Joy and her husband, Austin Forsyth, share Gideon (born 2018), Evelyn (born 2020) and Gunner (born 2023).

“Not 19,” she said in a March 2025 Instagram Story Q&A when asked how many kids they want overall. “I want to be able to effectively and intentionally raise [sic] my kids for Jesus so whatever number that is for us: Maybe 4 or 5.”

Why Tina Knowles Called Daughters Beyonce and Solange Over Content in Memoir

9 May 2025 at 09:08

Tina Knowles was admittedly apprehensive about releasing her Matriarch memoir to the masses.

“I would call my kids and I’d be like, ‘I think I talked too much,’” Knowles, 71, told Michelle Obama during a conversation released via the “IMO” podcast on Friday, May 9. Knowles — the mother of Beyoncé and Solange — explained that she revealed “everything” in her book.

“They were like, ‘What did you put in there?’ Because I sent them their parts,” Knowles continued, referring to her daughters. “I was like, ‘They’re too busy [to read the whole thing].’ Plus, I was scared, so I just held it from them.”

Knowles explained to Beyoncé, 43, and Solange, 38, that she told “my story,” which ended up being about others as well.

“Sometimes, your story includes other people,” she continued. “It was scary. I’ve been up for days too. Between that and Cowboy Carter.”

Tina Knowles Details 2nd Divorce in Book: Biggest Family Revelations

Knowles released her Matriarch memoir on April 22 and embarked on a nine-city book tour. (Her conversation with Obama, 61, took place at the Washington, D.C. tour stop on April 30.)

Knowles confirmed that she had “not” gotten any phone calls about the book’s content just yet — from either of her daughters.

“I’m gonna get the call though,” she joked at the time. “I know it already.”

Knowles spoke candidly about Beyoncé and Solange in her memoir, even revealing that she sent them to therapy at a young age. The mother of two also addressed “hurtful” rumors about Beyoncé always wanting a solo career — even during her Destiny’s Child days.

“People oftentimes say that the goal was always for Beyoncé to be solo, but if that were the case, she would have done that out of the gate,” Knowles wrote in the book. “She loved being part of a group.”

Beyonce Has Hilarious Reaction to Mom Tina Knowles’ New Memoir

Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland were original members of Destiny’s Child in 1990, when it was still called Girls Tyme. Michelle Williams joined the group in 2000 alongside Farrah Franklin, following the departure of LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson. (Knowles did not detail the other singers’ respective departures in her book.)

Knowles hit back at yearslong claims that Beyoncé — who released her first solo album in 2002 — was the reason the group disbanded.

“Beyoncé saw it as the end of a marriage of 10 years, and she began to grieve it as such,” Knowles wrote. “Rumors and negative stories took hold, casting Beyoncé as the daddy’s girl who made demands, and people even ran with a lie that Kelly only stayed because she was Mathew’s biological child from an affair. It was all incredibly hurtful.”

Everything Alan Jackson Has Said About His Charcot-Marie-Tooth Diagnosis

9 May 2025 at 09:03

Country superstar Alan Jackson has been battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease for more than a decade, but he didn’t go public with his diagnosis until September 2021.

“I have this neuropathy and neurological disease,” the Country Music Hall of Fame member explained during a Today show interview at the time. “It’s genetic that I inherited from my daddy. … There’s no cure for it, but it’s been affecting me for years. And it’s getting more and more obvious.”

Abbreviated as CMT, Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a hereditary disorder that affects the nervous system, causing progressive loss of muscle tissue and loss of sensation in the arms and legs. Patients may also experience trouble balancing and difficulty walking.

As Jackson explained during his Today appearance, the disease doesn’t shorten life expectancy, but it can make movement extremely difficult — especially for a person used to performing on stage night after night.

“I’ve been reluctant to talk about this publicly and to my fans,” the “Chattahoochee” singer explained when revealing his battle with the disorder, which also affected his grandmother and sister. “It’s called CMT, ironically enough, because CMT was a big part of my career.”

The Grammy winner released his debut album, Here in the Real World, in 1990, eventually becoming one of the most successful country stars of all time. He has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and has been named the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year three times.

Throughout his career, he’s had wife Denise Jackson by his side. The duo, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot in 1979 and later welcomed three daughters: Mattie (born in 1990), Ali (born in 1993) and Dani (born in 1997).

The couple briefly separated in 1998, but after their reconciliation, Denise wrote a 2007 memoir about their romance titled It’s All About Him: Finding the Love of My Life. Since his diagnosis, the author has been one of her husband’s biggest supporters.

“When I’m down, he lifts me up. When he’s down, I try to lift him up,” Denise told Jenna Bush Hager in September 2021. “The happy side of that is we’ve had a fairy tale life.”

After opening up about his health battle, Alan announced the Last Call Tour, but he emphasized that he didn’t want to refer to it as a farewell tour. He’s also continued to support his colleagues in the music industry, playing at a Loretta Lynn tribute concert at the Grand Ole Opry in October 2022. The following month, he accepted the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the CMA Awards.

During his speech, he thanked Denise for her unwavering support over the years. “We started out as teenagers, and she’s hung in there and rode this roller-coaster ride with me for 40-something years now,” he said. “I’m probably not always the easiest person to love, but she’s hung in there and helped me through hard times, and we’ve shared great times. The good and the bad, the happy and the sad. We’ve survived a lot.”

"There's no cure for it, but it's been affecting me for years," the "Gone Country" crooner explained in a September 2021 interview on the Today show. "And it's getting more and more obvious. And I know I'm stumbling around on stage. And now I'm having a little trouble balancing, even in front of the microphone, and so I just feel very uncomfortable." The American Music Award winner added: "It's not going to kill me. It's not deadly. But it's related [to] muscular dystrophy and Parkinson's disease."

After revealing his diagnosis, Alan said he planned to continue touring, but he didn't want to call it a "farewell" outing. "I never wanted to do the big retirement tour, like people do, then take a year off and then come back," he told Hager in September 2021. "I think that's kinda cheesy. And I'm not saying I won't be able to tour. I'll try to do as much as I can."

“I’ve always admired my heroes like George Jones, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn and Charley Pride, who just played as much as they wanted to, as long as they could,” Alan said in a statement in March 2022 after announcing his Last Call Tour. “I’ve always thought I’d like to do that, and I’d like to as long as my health will allow. I’ll try to do as much as I can, but if I’m comin’ your way, come see me.”

After postponing two tour dates in October 2022, the "Little Bitty" singer assured fans that he was doing his best to continue playing shows. "I hoped I’d be able to be there," he said in a statement at the time. "I hate to disappoint my fans. I tried as much as I could to play this show at this time."

After announcing more dates on his Last Call Tour, Alan explained in a May 2024 social media video that the disease was affecting his ability to play shows. “I’m getting into my twilight years,” he said. “I think it’s just getting time to start thinking about hanging it up full-time. Most of my fans know I have a degenerative health condition that affects my legs and arms and mobility that I got from my daddy, and it’s getting worse and it makes me more uncomfortable on stage. I have a hard time and I just want to think about maybe calling it quits before I’m unable to do the job like I want to.”

Country Superstar Jelly Roll and Wife Bunnie XO’s Relationship Timeline

9 May 2025 at 09:00

Jelly Roll might consider himself the son of a sinner, but he’s found an angel in wife Bunnie XO.

Following two stints in jail — Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) was arrested for aggravated robbery at 16 and served one year before being incarcerated for drug dealing at the age of 23 — the “Save Me” singer found The One with Bunnie (full name Bunnie DeFord), whom he wed in 2016. He also found a caring stepmother for his two children, daughter Bailee and son Noah, from prior relationships.

The couple have been each other’s rocks as their respective careers have flourished. Bunnie launched her “Dumb Blonde” podcast and media company in 2020. Jelly Roll, meanwhile, became a rising star in country music in 2020 after starting his career as a hip-hop artist in 2003.

Country Music’s Biggest Couples

“My shooting star 💫 You’ve dreamt your whole life of being where you are today. You manifested, did the work & now my sweet Antioch boy is living his dream,” Bunnie gushed via Instagram in November 2023 ahead of Jelly Roll’s 2023 CMA Awards performance. “I LOVE YOU. I admire you. I’m so proud of you! You are exactly where you’re supposed to be. Let’s take ‘em to church tonite baby!!! 🏆🏆.”

The twosome tied the knot at a Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas nearly one year after first crossing paths.

May 2020

“It takes a special kind of woman to raise a kid that isn’t her child and still treat the child as if she was. Bunnie is that special woman, outside of the social media, outside of the podcast, and all the business endeavors she does and helps me with, Bunnie is a beautiful soul,” Jelly Roll wrote via Facebook alongside a photo of his wife with his daughter, who began living with the couple in 2016. “She is kind, patient and caring. Over the years watching her relationship with Bailee blossom into this beautiful mother daughter bond that it has become has been nothing short of magical.”

He gushed: “I have truly been blessed with the best partner I could’ve asked for in life. You are the epitome of a good mom and deserve more credit than anyone because you didn’t have to step up to the plate the way you did. You chose to step up and man you have knocked it out of the park. Thank you, Mama Bear — we love you.”

November 2022

“We hit it off. She said she fell in love with the saddest eyes in the room,” the “Need a Favor” singer told Taste of Country Nights host Evan Paul in November 2022 of how he met his partner. “I’m not going to act like I shot my shot. She kind of shot hers. We had mutual friends. She said, ‘Yo. Just plug me in with Jelly.’ And I hit her on some other s–t. I was like, ‘Yo. I’m going to be coming out to shoot some content and video stuff. She was like, ‘Yeah! C’mon!’ I was like, ‘Cool, well I’m living in my van, so I’ll leave now.”

Later that month, the pair made their red carpet debut at the 2022 CMA Awards in Nashville.

Bunnie sang her husband’s praises after he won three CMT Music Awards for Male Video for the Year, Male Breakthrough Video of the Year and CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year for his hit “Son of a Sinner.”

“You were sent here to destroy stereotypes & blaze the trail for all the have nots,” she wrote via Instagram. “Saying I’m proud of you has to be so redundant after all these years, so tonight, per usual- I stand in awe of you. The pied piper of lost souls, the melancholy maestro … tonight was your night. Hell, if we’re being honest, 2023 has been your YEAR. You filled their hearts with love & brought ‘em to church handsome. Can’t wait to see what’s next.”

Ghosts' Danielle Pinnock Renews Vows With Husband 10 Years After Wedding

July 2023

Jelly Roll penned a “Bunnie appreciation post” via Instagram in honor of her launching her podcast and leaving her past as a high-end escort behind her for good. “A lot is often said or made about my story, but the truth is, I’ve never been moved more by a story than the story of my wife,” he shared. “To watch what this woman has overcame and her passion and determination to be something better has inspired me from the moment I met her. She saved me in one of the darkest times of my life. She has been nothing but supportive.”

The former rapper recalled: “I watched her build her own platform, her own podcast and her own team with ZERO help from me. She wanted to do it on her own, she didn’t want to be just ‘Jelly Roll’s wife’ she wanted to build her own empire to empower women and share her story in hopes that it could motivate others to believe that they could change their lives and be happy. … Watching you take this thing to the moon has been nothing short of incredible to watch — so so so so happy for you baby. Let’s keep changing the world a little at a time.”

We made that right,” Jelly Roll wrote via social media after the magical night. “I may have never gave my wife the wedding she truly deserved but I plan on giving her the life she deserves for the rest of it. I love you more anything mama bear. You are my anchor.”

Bunnie shared photos from the intimate ceremony, calling her spouse her “missing puzzle piece. My safe space. The man that makes me dance in my feminine energy. 'Tracker' Brings Justin Hartley Home to Solve a Case — But Where Is Russell?

9 May 2025 at 09:00

The upcoming Tracker finale is keeping Justin Hartley‘s Colter busy with a hometown case, a stack of pancakes and a surprise update on Jensen Ackles‘ whereabouts.

In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the Sunday, May 11, episode of the hit CBS series, Colter is back in Echo Ridge to help his mother’s friend find her missing brother. This offers him plenty of time to catch up with his mom — over breakfast.

“Come on, I made pancakes. Your father did the same thing. Standing up, looking out the window and pacing. It drove me crazy,” Mary (Wendy Crewson) tells Colter. “I guess the only way to get you to come visit is a job.”

Colter apologizes to Mary for not coming home enough, which is when she brings up his sister, Dory (Melissa Roxburgh).

'Tracker' Questions We Need Answered: Is Gina Alive? Will Billie Return?

“I wish Dory would come back and bring the kids so they could see where she is from,” she says, as Colter fires back, “It is probably hard for her, given what happened here.”

Mary doesn’t understand what Colter means since his dad’s death happened “a long time ago.” After Mary argues that she did “the best” she could, Colter notes that she could always call her daughter. Colter also offers an update on his brother, Russell (Ackles).

“Don’t ask me about Russell or how he is doing,” Colter adds. “I have absolutely no idea what he is up to. It is probably for the best.”

Justin Hartley's Colter Returns Home
CBS

The topic changes to the case, which Mary warns is different from what Colter might expect. She specifically points out how Echo Ridge changed since Colter spent time there when he was a child.

“It is not the same place. Folks from the city are moving in. Echo Ridge is changing. This change is not good,” Mary explains. “The sheriff busted a meth cookout last month. Things used to be simpler here.”

Colter, however, disagrees with his mother, adding, “Sounds like you and I remember this place differently.”

According to the official synopsis, Colter “returns to Echo Ridge to investigate a diner owner’s disappearance, only to uncover a decades-old kidnapping and a shocking family secret.”

Sunday’s episode is expected to give fans some major answers — starting with what happened to Colter’s father. For those who need a refresher, Colter’s dad died when he was a teenager and the family assumed Russell was somehow responsible. The eldest Shaw son, however, has denied being involved and actually pointed to another man in the woods the night that their dad fell from a cliff.

Last month, Hartley hinted that the end of the season builds up to uncover what actually went down.

“You are going to get the last five episodes in a row. So, you’re getting five separate movies. We call them little movies. As we’re inching closer to the end of the season, we creep closer and closer to the mystery of what the hell happened to Colter’s father,” Hartley, 48, teased to The Hollywood Reporter. “How did he die? Was there in fact another man in the woods? Did he get pushed? Did he get killed? Was it an accident? What the hell is going on with that?”

Most Iconic Guest Stars Featured on Justin Hartley's 'Tracker' Series

The actor promised “an incredible payoff” with “a lot of clues” being revealed as Tracker moves the story along.

“Of course, we have many more stories to tell. Now we’re in new territory,” he continued. “We have a couple of ideas. One of these is that Colter has all of these skills — he’s a survivalist and he knows how to be alone, and he knows how to find people and he’s gifted in that regard. He’s a great listener.”

He added: “But it would be interesting, I think, to see him be set up. In other words, to see him using all those skills to run from the authorities, because you’ve been set up for whatever reason.”

Hartley used the opportunity to remind viewers that Colter’s life could be in danger.

“I don’t want our audience to forget that this man is mortal, he’s not a superhero. He can die!” he concluded. “The things he is doing are very, very dangerous.”

Tracker airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.

The federal ban on generic GLP-1 starts this month. Here's what you can do

9 May 2025 at 08:55

If you’re following the GLP-1 (Ozempic and other prescription weight-loss medications) scene, you may have read that the FDA set a cut-off date for this month on pharmacies that compound GLP-1 medications (specifically, semaglutide and tirzepatide). This means that if you’re taking or thinking about taking more affordable compounded medication, there’s a strong possibility that you’ll no longer have access to these powerful weight loss drugs.

Thankfully, we found telehealth providers that offer affordable GLP-1 options, both FDA-approved name-brand and customized GLP-1/GIP protocols, which may avoid the looming ban on generic options. I am part of the team that reviewed more than 30 of the top telehealth providers offering GLP-1 medications in the past year for our sister site, Woman’s World, and used that expertise to curate a list of the best options. Here’s what I found.

6 Affordable GLP-1 Alternatives You Should Know About

1. Mochi Health: Mochi Health offers affordable access to compounded GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide, starting at $99 per month plus a monthly membership fee that also includes virtual medical care and coaching. Mochi also offers brand-name GLP-1s (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) and if you have health insurance and you qualify for GLP-1 medication, your out-of-pocket cost will be significantly less than without insurance.

Mochi’s cost for compounded GLP-1 medication (semaglutide) is $99/month plus a $69 membership fee ($168/month), and compounded GLP-1/GIP (tirzepatide) is $199/month plus a $69 membership fee ($268/month). However, Mochi discounts their monthly membership fee if you pay in advance. We have an in-depth review of Mochi Health for more.

2. Found Health: With Found, you’re getting a personalized weight loss program that includes name-brand GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro) or compounded semaglutide (if you’re approved). When I recently reviewed Found, I “found” their offerings, pricing and customer service competitive in the marketplace.

While name-brand medication pricing will vary depending on your insurance, it offers compounded semaglutide for $189 plus a $99 membership fee per month ($288 total). Found also offers non-GLP-1 weight loss medications that it includes in the $99 monthly fee (metformin, topiramate, zonisamide).

3. MedVi: MedVi offers a comprehensive weight loss program that includes access to GLP-1 medications, including compounded and name-brand options. The program starts at $179 for compounded semaglutide, which covers physician review, a personalized plan, one-on-one guidance, a metabolic report and the cost of prescription medication delivered to your door. Subsequent refills are $299, maintaining the same program benefits.

MedVi also offers compounded tirzepatide for $279 the first month and $499 when you refill your medication. If compounded medications aren’t your thing, MedVi has access to Ozempic and Wegovy starting at $795 and $995 per month, respectively.

4. SkyRX: SkyRX provides GLP-1 medications, including compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, with an all-inclusive pricing model. The telehealth provider offers same-day appointments, with medications delivered within two business days. Pricing is a single monthly fee that includes medication, supplies, doctor visits and shipping.

Compounded semaglutide starts at $199/month and refills at $297/month. Compounded tirzepatide is slightly more expensive at $297/month and refills at $397/month. SkyRX says that you can see a 15% reduction in your body weight when taking GLP-1 medication.

5. Fridays Health: Fridays offers compounded GLP-1 medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide with all-inclusive monthly pricing. Plans start at $249/month for semaglutide or $359/month for tirzepatide, with discounted rates available for 3-month subscriptions. Pricing includes provider visits, lab work, coaching and access to fitness and mental wellness resources. In my review, Fridays stood out as a top choice with fast and effective customer service.

6. Ro: Ro provides GLP-1 medications through its “Body Program,” which includes personalized treatment plans, clinical check-ins and weight loss coaching. Pricing starts at $45 per month plus the cost of medication. The cheapest option is Zepbound, which costs $349-$499 per month, depending on your dose. Ro also provides other telehealth services, including sexual health, fertility, hair loss and skin care. Check out our sister site’s review on Ro, where we thoroughly dive into their offerings, pricing and customer experience.

How Can Telehealth Providers Still Offer Compounded GLP-1 Medication?

After speaking to several telehealth brands offering compounded GLP-1 medication, there seem to be three approaches they are taking to stay within current FDA regulations:

  1. Continue selling compounded medication: A few brands I spoke to are continuing to sell compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. They will continue to do so until their supply runs out, and then will have to find an alternative solution.
  2. Stop selling compounded medication: Some brands are stopping compounded medications and are only offering name-brand options.
  3. Sell customized compounded medication: Certain brands are now offering “customized” GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP protocols. This means that they can create semaglutide and tirzapetide, but customize them to an individual patient by adding different ingredients like B12 or metformin.

Make Sure to Thoroughly Research GLP-1 Providers

While compounded medications from telehealth providers offers a much cheaper alternative to name-brand medications, it’s not without its risks. In fact, there are mixed medical opinions on the safety. When I spoke to Megahan Garcia-Webb, MD, a triple board-certified physician specializing in obesity medicine and producer of the YouTube series Weight Medicine with Dr. Meghan, she mentioned she’s against compounded GLP-1 medication:

I don’t recommend compounded versions because they bypass the standard precautions, and there is no guarantee they are safe, not to mention effective.

In a slight contrast to Dr Garcia-Webb, GLP-1 expert Dr. Spencer Nadolsky told me:

I used to be much more against the compounded versions. I think there is a degree of quality in compounding the medicines. If I were to recommend a compounded version ever, it would be made by a 503B pharmacy. I’m still cautious about it because I think it would be really nice to know more about it if it’s been studied more.

Telehealth Providers Still Offer Affordable GLP-1 Options, At Least For Now

As FDA regulations around compounded GLP-1 medications continue to evolve, many telehealth providers that rely on compounding pharmacies may soon face supply shortages or pause their offerings altogether. If you’re currently using compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide (or thinking about starting), it’s important to understand that access could change quickly. Providers that offer a  GLP-1/GIP option, like Mochi, hope this variation won’t be subject to upcoming restrictions.

However, there are still affordable and flexible options available through trusted telehealth platforms, including both FDA-approved name-brand medications and customized GLP-1/GIP protocols. Just be sure to do your research: look for providers that clearly state where their medication comes from and whether they work with licensed 503B compounding pharmacies in the U.S. While the landscape is changing, it’s still possible to find a safe, effective solution that aligns with your weight loss goals and budget.

Jordana Brewster Is Starting ‘A New Tradition’ This Mother’s Day

9 May 2025 at 08:55

Jordana Brewster’s Mother’s Day is going to look a little different this year.

“I don’t have custody of my kids this week, but I’m doing this fun, like, dive into the ocean with a bunch of other moms,” Brewster, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Baby2Baby Mother’s Day Celebration presented by Crate & Kids on Thursday, May 8. “It’s almost like a cold plunge on Mother’s Day. So hopefully that starts a new tradition, too. That’ll be fun.”

Brewster, who shares sons Julian, 11, and Rowan, 8, with ex-husband Andrew Form, said coparenting is all about consistency. (Form, 56, also shares a 6-month-old baby with wife Alexandra Daddario.)

“Consistency between the households is one of the most important things, and just your kids knowing that they’re supported,” she said. “And that what [our] family looks like may have changed, but the love is still there. I think that’s what they need to feel. So that comes with stability and communication, and I’m lucky enough to be able to foster that.”

The Fast and the Furious franchise star parents a blended family of six children after marrying businessman and father-of-four Mason Morfit in September 2022. She shared that therapy “can be really helpful” when it comes to the combining of households, telling Us she puts a focus on mental health and wellness with her boys.

“My sons really love to open up at the end of the day,” Brewster said. “I take them through [breathing practices]. And, by the way, we all need that, right? I’ll start driving and I’ll get nervous, and then I start doing this breathing exercise and there’s meditation techniques involved. I do the same thing with my little guy. That centers him at the end of the day.”

Brewster was on hand at the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens on Thursday to help hundreds of mothers and their children impacted by January’s wildfires at the Baby2Baby and Crate & Kids event. She volunteered, alongside fellow celebrities Hilary Duff, Lori Harvey and Lauren London, to provide families with the needed items and special gifts.

“What I really love is interfacing with other moms and talking with the kids and helping them out, and giving and donating my time in any way that I can. It’s very fulfilling,” she said. “These are all moms that have been affected by the Altadena fires, primarily, and Crate & [Kids] was generous enough to donate a bunch of essential needs, plus we’re also pampering the moms. We’re giving them jewelry and all these awesome EltaMD suncare [products], all these luxuries. So hopefully it’ll make their Mother’s Day a little bit brighter.”

Brewster hopes to instill in her sons that same desire to give back by teaching them lessons about kindness. She also wants them to push through adversity, emphasizing the importance of “grit and resilience.”

“I feel like it’s really easy nowadays to feel discouraged or beat down but as long as you’re working hard and you have a lot of self-respect, you can get through anything,” she said.

Did Romeo and Cruz Beckham Mock Sister-In-Law Nicola Peltz Amid Family Drama?

9 May 2025 at 08:50

Did Romeo and Cruz Beckham just take a subtle shot at their sister-in-law, Nicola Peltz?

Fans are convinced that Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, were mocking their brother Brooklyn Beckham‘s wife Peltz, 30, in a series of recent Instagram comments.

“So beautiful Romeo ✨🩷,” Cruz commented on a series of photos Romeo uploaded to Instagram on April 7. Cruz was quick to reply with a series of crying laughing emojis. Eagle-eyed fans have appeared to connect their series of comments to one made by Peltz two days prior

Model Mia Regan uploaded photos on April 5 from a shoot she did with POP Magazine.

“So beautiful mia 🩷✨,” Peltz wrote in the comments section — which seems to be the exact same way Cruz reacted to his brother.

Us Weekly has reached out to Peltz’s team for comment.

Brooklyn Beckham Shares Gift From Nicola's Parents Amid Family Feud Rumors

The recent Instagram snafu is just another clue into the ongoing Beckham family feud. David Beckham’s recent 50th birthday celebration raised some eyebrows when Brooklyn and Peltz were noticeably absent from the family photo.

An insider told Us earlier this week that Brooklyn, 26, requested a “separate meet-up” with David and Victoria Beckham to celebrate his dad’s milestone birthday. The British power couple swiftly turned the offer and have “thrown in the towel” over the drama. (Aside from Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, the couple are parents to daughter Harper, 13.)

“David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family and the family does things a certain way,” the source added. “But Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.”

A separate insider told Us that years-long tension between Victoria, 51, and Peltz was the catalyst for this family feud. The second source explained that there’s been “bad blood” between the two women since before Brooklyn and Peltz’s 2022 wedding.

Romeo Beckham Appears to Exclude Brother Brooklyn From Family Tribute

“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the second insider shared. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”

The same source noted that Brooklyn “completely supports and stands by” his wife amid the family drama.

“It has put a rift in his relationship with his parents. Nicola is outspoken and that is what has caused tension with his parents,” they continued. “She will defend Brooklyn a lot and is defensive. Brooklyn will always be on Nicola’s side, and that’s made things even more tense between him and his parents.”

Golfer John Daly on His Health After 16 Surgeries: ‘Waking Up Is a Win’

9 May 2025 at 08:43

Pro golfer John Daly finished in last place at the Insperity Invitational in Texas last weekend, but in his mind, he’s a winner anyway. Daly, 59, has endured 16 surgeries in his life, including an emergency hand surgery in January.

“I’m like Lazarus, I keep coming back from the dead,” he told The Associated Press in a story published earlier this week. “Waking up is a win for me.”

Daly announced his emergency procedure in January, sharing a photo of himself in a hospital bed via his Instagram Story.

“Emergency hand surgery,” he wrote at the time. “Thankful [it] went great.”

Celebrity Health Scares Through the Years

Daly told the AP that putting remains one of his problems on the course as his recovery continues. Still, he’s determined to keep playing. Despite finishing 27-over last weekend, he’s already looking forward to his next event, the senior golf tour’s Regions Tradition May 14 to 18.

He chose that tournament over the PGA Championship, which is at the same time.

“I can go there and miss the cut and get $6,000,” Daly said of the PGA Championship. “But I’m playing Birmingham. I love Regions. They’re a great sponsor. But why are they scheduling Regions the same week as the PGA Championship, where I can see Brooks [Koepka] and all the guys?”

Daly has endured even more medical challenges over the years. He underwent surgery for bladder cancer in 2020, and while he has admitted the cancer could return, he said he was thankful that doctors caught the cancer early.

Summer House’s Jesse Solomon Opens Up About Testicular Cancer Journey

“I’m cutting way, way back on the Diet Coke and counting minutes before I can have a cigarette,” he said during a 2020 interview with the Golf Channel. “I’m trying to quit smoking. The doctors aren’t saying it’s too late.”

Daly once admitted to smoking 40 cigarettes per day and drinking 10 to 12 cans of Diet Coke — sometimes reaching 26 to 28 cans in a day. During his heyday as a golfer, Daly was known to both smoke and drink Diet Coke on the course.

“We will just see what happens,” he added. “Maybe there’s a miracle.”

Daly announced in February that his cancer is in remission.

One year before his diagnosis, Daly was vacationing in England, when he was bitten by a brown recluse spider. He then developed sepsis and required emergency surgery.

Daly has also opened up about his struggles with alcohol, undergoing multiple stints in rehab. In a 2024 appearance on golfer Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube channel, he told DeChambeau that he was on his 20th drink of the day.

“Oh I started drinking at nine this morning,” he said. “Might be the 20th. I’ve slowed down. I’ve slowed down a little bit. This is an important day, I’m with my son and we are going to break 50.”

Bachelorette Jenn Tran Picks 'DWTS' Partner for Sasha Farber for Season 34

9 May 2025 at 08:39

Jenn Tran is down for Dancing With the Stars partner Sasha Farber to keep it within Bachelor Nation for the next season of the ABC competition series.

Joan Vassos should go on Dancing With Stars. I love that woman. She’s actually the sweetest and the greatest and I think she would enjoy it,” Jenn, 27, told Us Weekly during an exclusive interview at an event to celebrate her partnership with Clorox Scentiva, adding that the OG Golden Bachelorette, 62, would “absolutely” be in a good match for Sasha, 41.

Jenn met Sasha on season 33 of DWTS. While she finished in 7th place, she found a romantic connection with the pro dancer and considers the series a major highlight of life since she appeared as the season 21 Bachelorette.

When Us pointed out to Jenn that it’s been about a year since she returned from filming the dating show, Jenn described the last 365 days as “nothing that I could have ever imagined.”

Jenn Tran and DWTS’ Sasha Farber’s Relationship Timeline

“I think you go into [The Bachelorette] thinking, ‘This is gonna happen, that’s gonna happen.’ And nothing happened that I thought was actually gonna happen,” she said. “Instead, better things happened and I’ve been just so surprised. I constantly am and I’m just so grateful. The past year, I’ve really felt a lot of gratitude for what it has brought me.”

Jenn said her “highest high” occurred the first time she stepped onto the Dancing With the Stars ballroom.

“That very first rehearsal was when I was really like, ‘Holy s***. I’m on Dancing With the Stars.’ That show has been a lifetime goal of mine — a delusional goal, or so I thought.”

On the flip side, Jenn’s low point was her finale of The Bachelorette, where fans watched her relive her proposal with then-fiancé Devin Strader despite him already ending things once filming wrapped. “I think everybody saw my lowest of lows, and that’s OK.” she told Us. “I’m glad I got to share it with the world.”

Since wrapping DWTS, Jenn has returned to PA school while also taking on the opportunities that come post-reality TV.

DWTS Pair Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Made Us Believe in Showmances in 2024

“I live in Miami but I’m just never home. I don’t sleep and I’m just constantly thriving in chaos,” she said. “Things just pop up and I’m traveling here, I’m traveling there, I’m seeing patients here and there. I’m really just trying to take it one day at a time.”

Jenn made it clear that she was “very passionate about medicine” before and after landing her first gig on The Bachelor.

“I spent a lot of my life trying to get into PA school because it’s not an easy master’s program to get into. So it didn’t make sense for me to suddenly — just because I had a really fun year— to give it up and do other things because it is a very hard spot to get,” she explained. “My program was very nice to give me that year break, but I knew that I wanted to go back. I knew that healthcare was something that I wanted to pursue and still do and want to work in and just use my degree to help people. … There’s a lot of specialties that PAs can do and you can switch around. Once I graduate, it’ll be a little bit of trial and error.”

Overall, Jenn describes herself as in a “good” place after all the ups and downs.

“I mean, I feel like I’m running around with my head off because I’m just in five places at once, but I very much feel like I have purpose,” she said. “Being at school grounds me and I feel good about the decisions that I’ve been making.”

Jenn also finds time to work with brands that she believes in, including Clorox and she’s loving the latest scents from the Scentiva line.

Jenn Tran’s Brother Makes Cheeky Comment About Sasha Farber Rumors

“You gotta keep your home clean somehow — and I’ve been using Clorox for so many years. This new scented bleach line is amazing,” she said, referring to Clorox Scentiva bleach, which has a lavender base. “But my favorite are the wipes that you can use on the counter. The Grapefruit and Orange Blossom Wipes make your home smell so nice. “I’m someone that loves scents. I am very cautious or very aware of how people perceive me when they smell me and I think the same thing about your home, what people smell is how they perceive your home.”

Jenn mentioned Sasha when discussing her sensitivity to smells.

“He was teaching me a dance and I was like, ‘Why am I suddenly thinking about Sam from The Bachelor?’” she recalled, referring to her Bachelorette villain. “I was, like, sniffing him and I was like, ‘Oh my God, you’re wearing Sam’s cologne.’ I’m very sensitive to smells. They really do bring back memories. I feel like it transports you. And so I was like, ‘That is crazy. You’re never wearing that cologne.'”
