Just because S.W.A.T. is coming to an end for a third time doesn’t mean viewers will be satisfied with the conclusion.
During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, star Annie Ilonzeh admitted it is “really hard to say satisfied” about the series finale, adding, “There was so much more juice to squeeze out of it. So you’re really like, ‘Wait, I just left a whole meal on the table. I am not full. I’m not satisfied.'”
“In terms of storytelling and it being a farewell, I think we’re all happy with where these futures would live,” she noted. “But it still leaves you with some questions. There are questions.”
Based on the 1975 TV show and 2003 film adaptation of the same name, S.W.A.T. is centered around the Los Angeles Police Department. The CBS series premiered in 2017 and aired six seasons before it was picked up for a seventh and final run. CBS ultimately reversed the decision and S.W.A.T. got a season 8. But the celebration didn’t last long — the network cancelled the show for a second time in March.

“This show is so damn good. I’m talking about the things that happened in front of the camera that you guys experienced, the things that happened behind the camera — all of it as a whole. It is such a bummer [but] we’re still fighting,” Ilonzeh, 41, explained. “We’ve got our petition with 70,000 signatures and it’s continuing to grow. Every time we do a massive push on our socials, people [join the] fight when they sign and they start reposting and we do have some bites.”
“We are crossing our fingers. So there is a particular discussion being had. I hope I can say [soon] that we really did it. We rallied for a third time,” she added. “But we’re making noise. They do see it — producers and streamers that are interested — they are like, ‘OK, this is something.’ So if we can plug and play, we’re all geared up to go. We don’t want this ride to be over.”
If S.W.A.T. was to receive another renewal, it would be its last, with Ilonzeh revealing, “I was just talking to [my costar] Shemar [Moore] yesterday and he was like, ‘If we do this for a third time — whenever we do get canceled again — I will be OK with it. I’m not fighting for a fourth [time] because we really did it and we end on that.’ We will end on the fight and the win and relish in all of this and squeeze the life out of it. We will know that we did it, we did our job and we can walk away happy campers.”
“What a great accomplishment, if we could get to double digit seasons. It’s still great to be able to celebrate long-lasting TV with a built-in fan base. That becomes your family,” Ilonzeh concluded. “We’re crossing our fingers with our numbers going up on the petition. But also we are hopeful that they really take that noise serious and go, ‘Let’s do this.'”
S.W.A.T. airs on CBS Fridays at 10 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.
Jelly Roll‘s acting debut on Fire Country came with an emotional monologue — and introduced his new song.
During the Friday, April 11, episode of the hit CBS series, Jelly Roll was introduced as healthcare worker and former convict Noah. Vince’s (Billy Burke) first visit to Walter’s (Jeff Fahey) memory care facility got off to a rocky start when his dad confused him with his brother.
“You know, they forget but we never do. What happened with you and your dad in there, I have seen that play out a time or two,” Jelly Roll’s character told Vince. “No pressure but I am on lunch if you want to talk. Just say yes, man. It is freezing out here.”
After getting into Vince’s car, Noah reflected on his own struggles with an ailing parent, adding, “I lost my own mother to dementia. I am still ashamed to admit it, but I was kind of grateful she forgot who I was.”
He continued: “The last time I got to see my mom was from behind prison glass. When she didn’t recognize me I figured at least she didn’t have to deal with the heartbreak of seeing her boy like that. But I made a vow right then that I was going to be the good boy she raised and remembered.”
Sergei Bachlakov/CBS
Noah’s support turned into a suggestion that Vince cook Walter a “home cooked meal” because it is “great for memory stimulation.” He turned out to be right when Vince’s meal with Walter triggered Walter remembering his son.
Later in the episode, Jelly Roll’s “Dreams Don’t Die” song played as Cal Fire helped survivors of a ski resort accident following a chair lift malfunction. Jelly Roll’s appearance was the musician’s first scripted role after he previously made a cameo as himself on Paramount+’s Tulsa King.
Star — and executive producer — Max Thieriot recently told Us Weekly that he “reached out first” after crossing paths at the CMT Music Awards.
“He was finishing drying his hands with a towel in the bathroom at the CMTs [in April 2024]. I ran into him in the bathroom straight up at the CMT Music Awards,” he recalled. “I said, ‘Thank you for letting us have some of your songs on the show.’ And he’s like, ‘Dude, how do I get on the show? I’ve been petitioning online and talking to my people and you got to get me on that show.’ He said Fire Country is what he really represents. … He called me the next day and it showed how sincere he was.”
Sergei Bachlakov/CBS
Thieriot credited Jelly Roll for being collaborative. “We worked on coming up with a character [for him] that we all thought would be interesting, unique and special and still. It tells some of the story about second chances and what he really represents,” he noted to Us. “But [it] also feels different from who he is and how people see him day to day as a country singer.”
He concluded: “I don’t know [if we will have more country singers]. I have to wait for the next awards show and I’m just going to set up a chair in the bathroom to start greeting them as they come in. But there’s a few that we’ve been talking with for a while now. Honestly, it would be fun to maybe see both [Kane and Jelly Roll] bring their characters back in some form.”
Sklenar, 34, and Meghann Fahy were discussing their new film, Drop, in a video MTV posted via Instagram on Friday, April 11. In the comments section, one user referred to Sklenar as “Walmart Glen Powell” and the actor had the perfect comeback.
“Who doesn’t love a bargain?” Sklenar replied.
The user was seemingly surprised to get a response from Sklenar but was impressed by his quick wit.
“Rlly don’t know u from any movies yet but you’ve just gained a supporter ,” the troll replied.
While the social media user isn’t familiar with Sklenar’s resume, he has been in a series of recent successful projects, including the Yellowstone spinoff 1923. He also starred in the box office hit It Ends With Us, alongside Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Sklenar played Atlas, a childhood friend and love interest for Lively’s character.
Following It Ends With Us, Sklenar signed on to star in Drop alongside Fahy, 34. The thriller follows Fahy’s character, a widow and survivor of domestic abuse, as she goes on a date with a new love interest played by Sklenar. However, the date goes awry after Fahy receives a series of AirDrops to her phone, forcing her to complete tasks in order to save her daughter. The project is helmed by Christopher Landon, who also directed Happy Death Day.
“It was after It Ends with Us, and 1923 [season 2] had pushed for some reason. So I was eager to keep working when Drop came along, and it just seemed like a great opportunity and a great acting exercise,” Sklenar said of the film in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published on Thursday, April 10. “It was also a chance to work with Chris, and I love his films: Freaky, Happy Death Day, and We Have a Ghost. That was a fun movie. I’m just a big horror-thriller fan.”
Sklenar was also cast in The Housemaid, which is a film adaptation of the Freida McFadden book of the same name. In addition to Sklenar, Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried have been cast in the thriller.
All three films Sklenar has worked on in the past year have had themes of domestic violence — giving the movies a personal connection to him.
“It’s a theme that’s been around me and in my life for a long time,” Sklenar explained to THR. “Someone very close to me has been dealing with it for many years, and I’ve been helping her navigate that space as much as I can. Perhaps, by the grace of God, it keeps finding its way into my sphere as a theme because it’s a theme in my own life.”
Michelle Lally got into it with her estranged husband, Jesse Lally, during the The Valley premiere.
An eyewitness exclusively tells Us Weekly that Michelle’s boyfriendAaron Nosler and Jesse, 43, were having a “pleasant conversation” when Michelle, 36, confronted her ex during the season 2 premiere event in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 10.
“I’ll never forgive you for calling me a hooker,” Michelle yelled, per the insider.
The source notes that Jesse “apologized repeatedly,” but the incident escalated when Nosler jokingly quipped, “Well, just so you know I only date hookers.”
The insider says that Jesse pointed out that Michelle’s “boyfriend literally just called you a hooker.” However, Michelle responded that Jesse would “one day you will have to explain this to your daughter.”
According to the witness, Jesse apologized again and he planned on explaining his actions to the pair’s 4-year-old daughter, Isabella.
Jesse said, “I will explain it to her, and I will explain that I did it because I was hurt but that it’s not ok, and that I am sorry.”
Us has reached out to Jesse and Michelle for comment.
Viewers were introduced to Michelle and Jesse during the inaugural season of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff. During the first season, Michelle and Jesse’s tumultuous relationship was put on display.
The pair tied the knot in 2018 and called it quits shortly after production on The Valley season 1 wrapped up. Us later confirmed that Michelle and Jesse filed for divorce after nearly six years of marriage.
In the season 2 trailer, fans got a sneak peek at Michelle and Jesse’s dynamic following their split. In one heated moment, Jesse called his ex a “hooker.”
“You’re a f***ing drunk,” Michelle claimed in an explosive argument with her ex. Jesse responded, “Well, she’s a hooker so it’s fine.”
At the season 2 premiere red carpet on Thursday, Jesse expressed his regrets over calling Michelle a hooker.
“My biggest problem — and I got it tattooed on my arm — is that emotion clouds reason. The strongest person — regardless of the work they’re doing — in a moment of weakness can be triggered,” Jesse exclusively told Us. “There are certain words, like, you can say I drink too much or he’s an alcoholic. But when you call somebody a drunk, that implies something a lot deeper.”
He continued: “The messiness of it was a triggering thing for me. I’m trying to raise a little girl, and her mother is calling her father a drunk. That was very triggering for me. It was unfair of Michelle but it was certainly unfair of me to use that word.”
Jesse added that he had since apologized to Michelle and thought about how his choice of words can affect his daughter as well.
“I had to realize that I also have a daughter,” he said. “I’m learning how to talk to and treat women differently, and it was just a weak moment for me.”
The Valley season 2 premieres on Bravo Tuesday, April 15, at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
Woods, 49, posted an announcement via his Instagram page on Monday, April 7, sharing that his foundation is teaming up with the Augusta National Golf Club to launch a state-of-the-art STEAM education facility for local students.
“Partnering with Augusta National to serve its surrounding community is truly special,” Woods wrote. “This is a transformational opportunity to empower the next generation and provide meaningful educational programming while ensuring access to fun and affordable golf. I am excited to work alongside Augusta National and see both projects become a reality.”
Trump, 47, subsequently reshared the post via her Instagram Story, per the Daily Mail. The post has since expired.
This is the first time Trump has publicly referred to her and Woods’ new romance since the golfer confirmed their relationship last month. Woods took to social media in March to subtly reveal he and Trump are an item.
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” Woods wrote alongside a carousel of images that captured the couple being affectionate with each other. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”
Before dating Woods, Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018. The exes share five children: Kai, 17, Donald III, 16, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12 and Chloe, 10.
Woods, for his part, has been involved in various high-profile relationships over the years. When he first began his golf career, he was married to Elin Nordegren with whom he shares daughter, Sam, 17, and son, Charlie, 16.
The athlete and Nordegren split in 2010 after he had an affair with Rachel Uchitel. The athlete was later linked to Lindsey Vonn and Erica Herman.
After news broke of Vanessa and Woods’ romance, many members of the Trump family reacted to the new couple. Vanessa’s former sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump, took to the comments section on Woods’ post to congratulate the pair.
“So happy for you both ! ,” Ivanka, 43, replied to Woods’ Instagram post.
Vanessa’s former father-in-law, Donald Trump, also shared his thoughts on the romance.
“I love Tiger and Vanessa,” the president told reporters in the Oval Office last month. “Vanessa and Don had a very good relationship. They have incredible children, five incredible children, all good athletes, all great students. And they broke up quite a while ago, which was, to me, very sad, because I think they’re both right.”
Peacock may not have the vast selection of movies that its rivals enjoy, but it does have some great ones.
Beyond Peacock’s hit movies like Nosferatu or Creed III, there are also hidden gems that don’t always get the chance to shine in theaters.
That’s why the Watch With Us team has combed through the lineup to pick these three underrated Peacock movies you should watch this weekend.
This week’s selection includes a gritty boxing drama, the reunion of a great comedy team and a legendary filmmaker’s first mainstream movie.
‘Jawbone’ (2017)
It’s hard not to look at Jawbone without picturing it as a dark reflection of the Rocky movies. Much like Sylvester Stallone did decades earlier, Johnny Harris wrote his own movie and cast himself as a down-on-his-luck boxer. That’s where the direct comparisons between Rocky Balboa and Jimmy McCabe (Harris) end. Because Rocky has never been as close to self-destruction as Jimmy is, and the latter’s victory is far from assured.
Jawbone begins with Jimmy at a very desperate time in his life. He’s a struggling alcoholic and newly homeless. Boxing is his only way out, but his old coach, Bill (Ray Winstone), and his former corner-man, Eddie (Michael Smiley), don’t have much faith in Jimmy’s ability to remain sober. Jimmy’s best chance to escape his current circumstances is to accept an illegal fight setup by Joe Padgett (Ian McShane). It may literally be the battle for Jimmy’s life, and he’s woefully unprepared.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler had a great run together on Saturday Night Live as cohosts of Weekend Update. Sisters was their second reunion on the big screen, except this time Fey portrayed the irresponsible character instead of Poehler. Both actresses played against type as siblings Kate (Fey) and Maura Ellis (Poehler).
The sisters are summoned by their parents to clean out their belongings before the family home is sold. Against her better judgment, Maura allows Kate to convince her to throw one last wild party in the house before they leave. SNL veteran Maya Rudolph also costars in the film as the sisters’ rival, Brinda. And Brinda’s not going to let their party happen without incident unless she’s invited.
In some alternate timeline where Star Wars didn’t exist, George Lucas would have probably made more films like American Graffiti. This movie is understandably overshadowed by Lucas’ success on other projects, but it’s also his most relatable film, and one that influenced later classics like Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused.
The story follows multiple characters throughout a single night in 1962. Jaws star Richard Dreyfuss plays Curt Henderson, a teenager obsessed with finding a cute blonde woman who briefly flirted with him earlier in the night. Happy Days’ Ron Howard also has a memorable performance as Steve Bolander, a young man looking to leave his small town behind and find his place in the world. But if he leaves, Steve risks his relationship with Laurie Henderson (Cindy Williams), the only woman who truly loves him.
Taylor’s marriage to businessman Russell Armstrong crumbled on national television during RHOBH’s first two seasons, with Armstrong later dying by suicide in 2011. Taylor faced scrutiny in the aftermath of Russell’s suicide, both from her RHOBH costars and her late husband’s family.
After leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on a full-time basis in its third season, Taylor married attorney John Bluher and then suddenly found herself in the spotlight once again as the unlikely subject of a cat meme.
Keep scrolling for a look back at Taylor’s dramatic ups and downs, including her time on both The Real Housewives Ultimate Girl Trip and her historic stint on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
October 2010
When Bravo announced the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 1, the network promoted Taylor’s Oklahoma background and willingness to spend $50,00o on her then-4-year-old daughter Kennedy’s birthday party.
Taylor was listed as owning her own consulting firm when RHOBH premiered.
While Kyle Richards’ feud with costar Camille Grammer (and family drama with sister Kim Richards) was the driving force behind RHOBH season 1, those early episodes foreshadowed trouble to come for Taylor and husband Russell as various cast members shared their doubts about the couple.

July 2011
Taylor filed for divorce from Russell after completing filming on RHOBH season 2 (but before the episodes aired on Bravo). Taylor cited verbal and physical abuse in court documents as the reason for her split from Russell.
“It was a difficult decision but I have decided to file for divorce from Russell,” she said in a statement at the time. “Although we have tried our best to work through our differences, I have come to the conclusion that it is in the best interests of our family that we separate.”
Taylor later toldEntertainment Tonight that Russell had been physically abusive “maybe 20 times” during their marriage. She finally left Russell after he fractured bones in her face.
“When I finally showed him the MRI, he just put it down and started to cry,” she said. “I think it was him having to come to terms with the fact this had gone on far too long.”
Taylor further opened up about her abusive marriage during a 2025 episode of Investigation Discovery’s Hollywood Demons, revealing that she’s still haunted by people asking why she stayed with Russell so long.
“It is a really hard question when I have people ask why I stayed [with him],” she said.
“It is so complicated and statistically most domestic violence victims return seven times before they find the courage to leave,” Taylor explained in the special. “I questioned myself a lot, asking, ‘Am I being abused?’”
August 2011
Taylor discovered Russell’s body at his rented home in Los Angeles after an apparent suicide. It was subsequently reported that Russell was more than $1 million dollars in debt by the time of his death.
“He didn’t have any extra assets. He was living month to month to support his lifestyle for Taylor,” Russell’s lawyer Ronald Richards told ABC News in 2011.
Taylor’s spokesperson reacted to the tragic news by saying, “Taylor Armstrong is devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her young daughter.”
Bravo said in its own statement: “All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the death of Russell Armstrong. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time.”
A coroner’s report later established that there were no signs of foul play.
September 2011
Despite the L.A. coroner’s determination, Russell’s sister Laurie Kelsoe posited the theory on NBC’s Today that her sibling may have been murdered.
“From the minute that I got the call, I knew that it was not suicide,” she told NBC. “I don’t know if it was something in the marriage, I don’t know if it was his business, or the show, I don’t know.”
During Kelsoe’s Today segment, reporter Miguel Almaguer mentioned that the Los Angeles Police Department had received no additional information that would warrant the case being reopened.
Taylor addressed her sister-in-law’s comments on Today in January 2012, when she insisted Kelsoe didn’t have “much knowledge of what went on” inside her marriage to Russell.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers watched the final months of Taylor and Russell’s marriage play out on camera.
Taylor was memorably confronted by cast members Lisa Vanderpump and Camille Grammer during a contentious gathering at Vanderpump’s home. Grammer alleged that Taylor previously confided in her RHOBH castmates about Russell’s abuse but asked them not to bring it up on camera.
Addressing the abuse rumors, Grammer memorably told Armstrong, “We don’t say it, but now we said it.”
Once Russell died, the RHOBH cast, minus Taylor, were called back to film a scene on August 29, 2011, where they addressed the tragic news.
Meanwhile, Taylor released her memoir, Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within in February 2012, leading to combative scenes at RHOBH’s season 2 reunion.
Brandi Glanville took particular issue with Taylor for releasing a memoir “a hot minute” after Russell’s death.
“Three women die every single day from domestic violence, you want me to wait another month so 100 more women will be dead? How about 6 months and 600 more women are dead?” Taylor shot back. “It’s about women that are dying every single day.”
Throughout the season, RHOBH viewers watched as Taylor sought to settle her late husband’s outstanding debts, including forfeiting her wedding ring.
September 2013
Taylor exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a main cast member but would appear as a “friend of” in season 4. She made numerous guest appearances throughout subsequent seasons.
She told “Life After Bravo” in 2020 that it was the right time to leave RHOBH because she “needed to take some time away” from Los Angeles in order to focus on raising daughter Kennedy.
“It was a little bit frightening for a while ’cause I couldn’t go anywhere and I had my little girl and I wanted to take her away for a while and not have her exposed to people constantly yelling and asking me questions about what had happened,” she explained.

April 2014
Taylor tied the knot with second husband, Bluher, at the Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, California, on April 4, 2014, in front of a star-studded guest list that included her former RHOBH costars Richards, Vanderpump and Faye Resnick.
She was walked down the aisle by her then-7-year-old daughter Kennedy while wearing a strapless, form-fitting dress by Chagoury Couture.
May 2019
Taylor found an unexpected resurgence in visibility when she was featured in a now-iconic meme created by a Twitter user on May 1, 2019. The meme juxtaposed a dramatic moment of Taylor arguing with Grammer in RHOBH season 2 with a cat sitting at a dinner table.
Arguably, Taylor became more famous for her association with this meme than for her time on reality TV. The star rolled with her viral success by offering to recreate the cat meme on her Cameo channel.
“It’s just funny to me. That life feels like someone else’s life, at this point,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in a 2023 interview. “[The meme] doesn’t bother me at all.”
Taylor returned to reality TV for the second season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, where she once again had it out with Glanville over past tensions. Taylor confronted Glanville for making hurtful comments in the aftermath of Russell’s death.
She told Us Weekly at the time that there were “ups and downs” throughout filming, as well as some unexpected catharsis.
“In some respects, we have a bit of a family feeling with one another, so it’s almost like fighting with your sister,” she said.
August 2022
Bravo made history by announcing that Taylor would be the first Housewife to switch franchises when she became a “friend of” the cast on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17.
Taylor made the most of her one season on RHOC by feuding with costar Heather Dubrow over an acting role. Unfortunately, her onscreen tension with Dubrow wasn’t enough to secure her a second season in Orange County.
Taylor confirmed speculation that she was not asked back for RHOC season 18 and would once again be leaving the Bravoverse.
“Loved spending time with the ladies of #RHOC and thankful I got to give the viewers an update on my life,” she wrote via Instagram. “I’ve made some real friendships that I cherish. Wishing the ladies all the best for season 18.”

There is no one who wants to watch Jax Tayloron season 2 of The Valley than Jax himself.
“It is really rough. I don’t know who that person is. I look disgusting,” Taylor, 45, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 10, at the red carpet premiere for The Valley about watching season 2 back. “I give myself the ick just looking at it really.”
Taylor referred to himself as a “shell of a human being” while filming the second season, adding, “I was very disgusted with myself, very emotional and very sad. But again, that was a year ago. I’m in a very different place now.”
He continued: “I’m healthier. I put on a little weight — healthy weight. I am really into my fitness and health and trying to take care of my body. I’m trying to make things right with Brittany [Cartwright] and take care of our son.”
Despite public ups and downs, Taylor and his estranged wife “put our stuff aside” for Cruz, 3. “We just want that little boy to thrive. That’s the most important thing. It’s not about her and I, it’s about him,” Taylor continued. “He’s in school and he’s in speech and occupational therapy. He’s involved in so much. It’s just taking him a little longer. But, you know what? If he wants to live with me for the rest of his life, that’s fine by me.”
Jax Taylor.Charles Sykes/Bravo
Taylor admitted that he wasn’t always in a good place with Cartwright, 36. “We talk every day. We’re OK today but God knows what’s gonna happen tomorrow,” he noted. “Anyone going through a divorce goes through this. I don’t know who doesn’t. It’s just a tough thing but we’re gonna be OK.”
The drama between Cartwright and Taylor has played out as they returned to film season 2 of The Valley. By the time cameras picked back up in summer 2024, Cartwright and Taylor were going through divorce proceedings, and he subsequently entered a 30-day treatment program to address his mental health struggles.
Taylor left the in-patient facility in August 2024, with his rep saying in a statement, “Jax has spent the last 30 days in treatment and will be heading back home later this week. It’s been an emotional month for him and he’s most looking forward to spending time with his son.”
More recently, Taylor revealed that he has been battling substance abuse issues, including abusing cocaine, for more than two decades.
“I’ve been in and out of using cocaine for awhile. I wouldn’t use it every single day. There would be months I would take off,” he explained to Us in a March cover story. “And then I would do it like a week here, maybe two times a month or three times a month. It got really bad though. When the divorce started [with my estranged wife Brittany Cartwright], I felt like I was doing it recreationally.”
Jax Taylor.Koury Angelo/Bravo
Taylor noted he is still working on himself every day. “I had all these other issues because I’m masking loneliness,” he said. “I’m masking the texting women by doing drugs and drinking alcohol. I have all these other issues. So it’s a slow process, which is hard for me because I always look for the quick fix. This is one of those things in life that it’s not a quick fix. You have to work at it. I’m not used to that.”
Taylor concluded: “This is not gonna work that way. That’s not how addiction, sickness and mental health works. People are like, ‘Jax, you’ve done a lot of freaking damage. Like a lot. And this is just not going to go away anymore. People have had enough.”
The Valley season 2 premieres on Bravo Tuesday, April 15, at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
In addition to sharing how they think their characters should evolve for season 2, the actresses revealed their dream guest stars — including The Baby-Sitters Club stars, a Switched at Birth actress and the one and only Bradley Whitford.
“Oh my gosh, I mean, Bre [Blair], Larisa [Oleynik] and Rachael [Leigh Cook] are probably the ones I see the most and stay the most in touch with,” Fisk exclusively told Us during a set visit when asked which of her former Baby-Sitters Club castmates she’d want to make a cameo on the show.
Fisk made a name for herself in Hollywood after portraying Kristy in the 1995 coming-of-age movie. In addition to her fellow babysitters, the actress said she is in touch with the film’s director Melanie Mayron, whom she would “love” to have “come and direct a block” on The Chicken Sisters.
“That’d be so fun. Can we get all three of those girls on here?” Fisk added. She’s not the only Chicken Sisters star with a list of former castmates on their list to pull over for future episodes, either.
Scroll down to see what the cast of The Chicken Sisters envision for their characters on season 2 — and if they have a guest star they’re pushing for:
Schuyler Fisk
Kailey Schwerman/Hallmark Media
Fisk plays Amanda on the series, the daughter of Gus (Malick) and daughter-in-law of Nancy (Thompson) as well as Mae’s (Angelson) sister. “I would be excited to see her sort of, like, explore some of the things that she’s interested in that she’s kind of put to the wayside,” the actress told Us of Amanda’s possible story line next season. “I think her art is one of them. Something that I think she’d like to kind of pursue further in some way.”
Fisk added, “I think that I’d like to see her sort of step out of the shadow of her husband a little bit. Not necessarily away or not away from him. I’m not [going] to say anything about that relationship, but just to take more of a leadership role in her life, which I think she’s already starting to do.”
Lea Thompson
Kailey Schwerman/Hallmark Media
Thompson exclusively told Us that Nancy “has a long way to go” in the progress department. “She starts one way and even by the end of the first season, she’s really changed,” she explained. “She’s a very good-hearted person though. She’s a very kind and good hearted person. I share her need to make everybody happy.”
When it comes to who Thompson wants to make an appearance on season 2, she told Us her No. 1 pick is her “other kind of sister wife,” Switched at Birth’s Constance Marie. “I love her so much. I think she’d be hilarious in this show,” she said of Marie, who played Regina Vasquez on the Freeform series alongside Thompson’s Kathryn Kennish.
Thompson noted that she likes the idea of her Spencer Sisters costar Stacey Farber joining the cast, too. “Stacey Farber is another redhead in case they need another red. Another natural redhead,” she said with a laugh. (The Spencer Sisters premiered on The CW in 2023.)
Wendie Malick
Kailey Schwerman/Hallmark Media
Malick, who plays grey-haired Gus, the rough and tough mother of Mae and Amanda, teased that a costume change is something she wants for season 2. “I want her to get a haircut,” she exclusively told Us, laughing about the idea.
The actress revealed that while the grey suits Gus “for now,” she “might be moving into a different phase” come season 2. “That’s all I’m going to say about that,” Malick added.
Malick, however, was more open about her ideal guest stars, picking from her Hot in Cleveland and Just Shoot Me! costars. “I immediately thought of Enrico Colantoni, because he’s Canadian,” she told Us, referring to the actor who played Elliot DiMauro alongside her character, Nina Van Horn, on Just Shoot Me! in the late 1990s.
“He could actually work up here,” Malick explained, joking, “I think we have our fill of Americans and they wanna start hiring more Canadians. And he’s also brilliant and wonderful, fabulous. He’d be great.”
In addition to Colantoni, Malick said she’d “love” to have Just Shoot Me! alum Laura San Giacomo as part of The Chicken Sisters lineup. “It would be fun to have Jane Leeves or Valerie Bertinelli [from Hot in Cleveland],” she added.
Genevieve Angelson
Kailey Schwerman/Hallmark Media
Angelson didn’t have a specific road mapped out for her character, Mae, but she was quick to weigh in on the guest stars topic.
“Bradley Whitford would be my choice for No. 1 Chicken Sisters [guest star],” she exclusively revealed during Us’ set visit, recalling Whitford’s time on Handmaid’s Talewhen he directed Angelson in 2022 as Alanis Wheeler. “He’s absolutely wonderful.” (Whitford also plays Joseph Lawrence on the Hulu series.)
She added that her “favorite sister relationship” before The Chicken Sisters was with Anna Paquin on Flack. “That was also a female driven show,” Angelson shared, noting, “I think it would be pretty funny to have all of the British actors who were on that play Southern [roles].”
The Chicken Sisters season 1 airs on Hallmark Channel Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. The full season is also streaming on Hallmark+.
In my opinion, the best face serums help reduce dark spots and even out skin tones. If your current routine is packed with products that aren’t making a major difference, it’s time to level up — and by that, I mean add a vitamin C serum from tried-and-true brand Clinique to the mix. Sure, it’s a splurge, but trust me, it’s worth every penny!
The Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Clearing Serum is one of the best serums I’ve tested to date. After suffering from acne scars and hyperpigmentation that wouldn’t go away — even with a solid skincare routine! — this pick made an impact almost immediately. The dermatologist-developed solution is specifically meant to treat hyperpigmentation, dark spots and dull skin. What makes the formula so effective is the brand’s proprietary molecule UP302, which works to brighten and soothe at the same time.
The serum also includes a combination of vitamin C, niacinamide, salicylic acid and glucosamine, which help to visibly reduce dark spots. I appreciate that this product did not require an introductory period; I added it to my skincare lineup with no irritation or additional breakouts. While lightweight, it instantly melts into the skin for a hydrating feel.
Still, don’t take my word for it — thousands of shoppers also praise the serum. “I’ve been using this for about three weeks now and while I haven’t noticed a difference in my dark spots, I do see a difference in the radiance of my face and it feels very soft/silky,” one person said. “I use it twice daily and will continue to use it, even if I never see the dark spots lighten, just because of how it makes my face look and feel.”
“It works,” another shared. “I had pigmentation around my lip and couldn’t really use other skin discoloring products because I’m always in the sun and would make it more visible. I tried this one because someone at Ulta recommended and it was on sale. After applying it every morning and night, I saw results in three weeks.”
Many shoppers said to trust the process and one day, you’ll wake up to surprising results.
“I wasn’t sure if this was working on my sun damage til I realized it was GONE when I put on foundation,” someone wrote. “No spots — been using it for two months! I reordered and am really really pleased with the results!”
If you want to drastically improve your skin’s radiance and reduce dark spots, the splurge is well worth it. It’s time to add this serum to your routine and enjoy glowing skin in a matter of weeks!
Prince Harry is still fighting to restore security for him and his wife, Meghan Markle, five years after the U.K. government pulled it.
Harry, 40, spent two days at London’s Royal Courts of Justice for an appeal hearing regarding the decision to pull the couple’s security in February 2020 when they decided to leave the U.K.
The Duke of Sussex described the decision to The Telegraph as “difficult to swallow” and previously hinted that the issue was a factor in his rift with his father, King Charles III.
Telling People as he was leaving court on Wednesday, April 9 that he is “exhausted and overwhelmed,” Harry added that his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad.”
Harry and Megan, 43, first announced they were stepping back from public duties in January 2020. The couple then met with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II to iron out the details of their exit, with Elizabeth believing it was “imperative” that they “continue to be provided with effective security,” according to a letter from the late monarch’s private secretary, Sir Edward Young.
But the Royal and VIP Executive Committee concluded that if Harry and Meghan were to live private lives, they did not “fit readily” into the organization’s framework. Ravec ordered their security to be pulled by the end of March.
Harry and Meghan now live in Montecito, California with their two children, son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3. He saw the removal of security as retaliation and thought it was a tactic to keep the couple trapped in the royal family.
“We were trying to create this happy house,” he told The Telegraph following the hearing.
In an effort to get his security detail reinstated, he applied for judicial review in January 2022. The U.K.’s high court ruled against him in 2024, leading to the appeals process that has carried into 2025.
Sir James Eadie KC, a government barrister, criticized Harry’s appeal in a written statement.
“[The Home Office] has, and continues to, treat (the duke) in a bespoke manner. He is no longer a member of the cohort of individuals whose security position remains under regular review by Ravec,” he said. “Rather, he is brought back into the cohort in appropriate circumstances, and in light of consideration of any given context.”
Barrister Shaheed Fatima KC argued during the appeals process that Ravec “did not have the expert analysis that it needed” to determine whether Harry should receive “other VIP” treatment.
“On 8 January 2020, [Harry] and his wife felt forced to step back from the role of full time official working members of the royal family as they considered they were not being protected by the institution, but they wished to continue their duties in support of the late Queen as privately funded members of the royal family,” she argued in a written submission.
It’s hard to maintain a positive attitude in These Times, but Valerie June is determined to do so — and she hopes her music can be a beacon of joy for her listeners.
“I’ve examined it over the years … what does [positivity] mean in a dark world, or in dark times in your life when you feel like you failed or like you’ve lost or like things aren’t going your way?” June, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly while discussing her new album. “I ask myself, ‘Well, how could I still have joy in that time?’ And I go back to the ancestors and being a Black American from the South. My ancestors worked the fields and they were enslaved and they understood hard times. I have been so lucky in my lifetime — and most of us in America — that we don’t see those hard times, because so many people believed in the joy of those that were being born and the future.”
It’s gratitude for that luck, she explained, that keeps her going.
“We gotta keep believing in the joy, because that’s what they did,” she said. “And that’s why I’m sitting here, a free woman able to write songs all day long and get in the bathtub and play with a rubber ducky if I want. I ain’t gotta do nothing but enjoy what they have paved the way for me. … That’s where we find the joy in the dark times, is when we look through the history of humanity and we see, ‘Hey, we’ve made it.’ We’ve made it, we’ve made it, we’ve made it, we’ve made it, and we’re gonna keep on making it as long as we keep the light on in our hearts.”
Valerie June
From its first minute, June’s new album, Owls, Omens, and Oracles, is an exercise in finding happiness. The opening track — appropriately titled “Joy, Joy!” — begins with the lyrics, “There is a light you can see / That is wanting to be free / A hidden light deep inside / Learn to trust your spirit guide / There is a light you can find / If you stop to take the time.” The song then builds to a buoyant explosion of drums and guitar that’s impossible not to bop along with, anchored by June’s inimitable Tennessee twang.
The tune is almost a mission statement for the rest of the album, which includes collaborations with M. Ward and the Blind Boys of Alabama. “All I Really Wanna Do” recalls the doo-wop sounds of ’60s girl groups, while “Sweet Things Just for You” is a exuberant love song about being so into someone you’d “swim more than a thousand seas” to see them.
June notes that she still has her bad days, but she approaches life — as well as music — with a determination to center the good.
“It’s taken me years to understand it,” she told Us. “I’ll be on the floor in my own dark depression and be like, ‘What the heck? I’m supposed to find some light and feel some joy? F*** that. But now I get it. … It’s not necessarily that you are running around with a big smile on your face all the time. It’s like a resolve, it’s like a trust.”
Travys Owen
She went into the studio to begin recording the album last July, but some of the songs on it have been floating around in one form or another for more than 20 years. “My Life Is a Country Song,” for example, is “so old,” but she finally decided to record it, knowing that she might decide to alter something about it in the future.
“There’s many different ways for a song to live. It’s not permanent like a tattoo,” she explained. “You can always change a lyric or add a horn or play it without instrumentation. [There are] many different ways of it existing, so I went ahead and put it out.”
June is hesitant to pick a favorite track on the album — “the songs get jealous of each other” — but she there’s a few she “can’t wait” to play live, including the rocker “Endless Tree.”
“I’m feeling all kinds of Iggy Pop vibes on this s***,” she teased. “It’s got so much energy, and I just wanna get on stage and sing it. I just wanna feel every single lyric, especially in this time with everything going on politically across the globe and the polycrisis we have with climate change and all the things coming together all at once that we’re really gonna have to start to face. I’m like, ‘OK, there is kind of an anthem for this now where it’s like, we gotta be ready to learn how to disagree with each other and still live on this Earth together and create a harmonious existence with one another.’ That is what we have to do. And if you need a song for it, then I wrote it.”
If you aren’t a gamer or don’t have kids, chances are you haven’t seen The Minecraft Movie and never will. That’s OK since streaming offers so many options, there’s bound to be something that interests you this weekend.
One streamer, Hulu, has the very enviable flaw of having too many options. That’s where Watch With Us comes in.
We’ve selected three underrated movies that are far more entertaining than Minecraft. Even better, if you already have a Hulu subscription, they are readily available at no additional cost. In this age of inflation and tariffs, you can’t beat a deal like that.
‘Mothers’ Instinct’ (2024)
How many major American movies starring two Oscar-winning actresses have their world premiere in Lithuania? That’s what happened to Mothers’ Instinct, a psychological thriller starring Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway that barely got a theatrical release before it was dumped on Hulu shortly thereafter. While not perfect, the movie is weird and watchable, and it shows just how talented its two lead actresses are.
Alice (Chastain) and Céline (Hathaway) are next-door neighbors, best friends and devoted mothers of two preteen boys, Theo (Eamon O’Connell) and Max (Baylen D. Bielitz). When Max dies from a tragic accident, Céline begins to behave strangely. She grows closer to Theo, and gradually, Alice begins to fear that Céline blames her for Max’s death and is secretly enacting her revenge.
But is Alice right or merely feeling guilty for not preventing Max’s death? Even if her suspicions are correct, who would believe a seemingly perfect housewife like Céline is capable of murder?
Margot (Emilia Jones) is a college sophomore not really looking for love, but there’s something about Robert (Nicholas Braun) that appeals to her. Is it the fact that he’s a bit older than her and seemingly more mature? Or maybe it’s his claim that he’s a cat person, which hints that he’s in touch with his sensitive side? Margot takes a chance and sleeps with him. That’s when things go horribly awry for both of them.
Cat Person is all about how two people’s perceptions about one another don’t quite match the reality. Margot wants to like Robert, but she can’t quite ignore the suspicion that he’s stalking her. Is she right? Or is it just one of her strange daydreams where he’s attacking her for no reason?
A hit at Sundance in 2023, Cat Person got some notice from critics for its excellent lead performances, but it’s still not as widely known as it should be. The movie has two main characters who are highly problematic, but they’re always fascinating to watch, even when you’re shaking your head at all the bad decisions they are making.
Jane (Whoopi Goldberg) needs a car to travel to Los Angeles to find work as a musician. Robin (Mary-Louise Parker) has a car but needs someone to drive her because she’s ill. Meanwhile, Holly (Drew Barrymore) needs to get away from her violent ex-boyfriend, whom she may or may not have accidentally killed. Together, these three women travel the roads of America, forging bonds that could last a lifetime — if they don’t end up in jail first.
Boys on the Side shouldn’t work — it brings together three characters who, in the real world, would never talk to each other, let alone travel and live together. But the three lead actresses are magnetic and the story is surprisingly poignant. The film is peak mid-90s, with a young Matthew McConaughey sporting a badge, an accent and a crew cut and a soundtrack that includes Melissa Etheridge. It’s fun.

What started out as stray cast comments about offscreen tension turned into rumors about a feud between The White Lotuslove interests Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood.
The White Lotus, which premiered in 2021, focuses on the employees and guests at a fictional resort as they experience a slew of personal ups and downs while on vacation. The anthology series is also known for featuring a mysterious murder — or two — that is eventually revealed at the end of each season.
The perks of an anthology means introducing a new star-studded cast each season and the third installment, which premiered in 2025, got Us invested in characters played by Goggins, Wood, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Lalisa Manobal, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Lek Patravadi, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Tayme Thapthimthong.
While behind the scenes photos hinted at a close bond between the costars, Isaacs surprised Us with comments about an offscreen divide.
“Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost. All the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights,” he told Vulture in March 2025. “They say in the show, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand.’ But there’s an off screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama.”
The outlet offered Isaacs the chance to elaborate, which he laughed off, adding, “Absolutely not. I became very close to some people and less close to others, but we still all had that experience together and there’s a certain level of discretion required.”
While Isaacs later tried to clarify his original point, viewers already pointed out that Goggins and Wood were no longer following each other. Speculation continued into the rest of the cast but Chelsea (Wood) and Rick’s (Goggins) onscreen deaths in the finale kept fan attention on the fictional love interests.
Keep scrolling as Us explains why The White Lotus fans not only think there were issues on set of the show — but also have suspicions about specific people:
The Key Players
Isaacs started the conversation — multiple times — with comments about a disconnect on set. Viewers then started to examine the BTS photos to see which cast members didn’t spend too much time together. The most notable combinations include Isaacs with Goggins, Isaacs with Posey and more. None of them, however, have confirmed any falling out. After the speculation, Goggins and Wood stopped following each other on Instagram despite previously documenting their time on set together.
The Gist
Fabio Lovino/HBO
Shortly after The White Lotusreturned for season 3 in February 2025, Isaacs stirred up questions about potential feuds.
“It was a theatre camp, but to some extent an open prison camp: you couldn’t avoid one another,” the actor told The Guardian while acknowledging “tensions and difficulties” while filming. “I don’t know if they spilled from on screen to off screen, or if it would have happened anyway.”
He continued. “There were alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke. It’s a long period of time for people to be away from their family with an open bar and all the wildness being in Thailand allows.”
While witnessing the alleged tension, Isaacs recalled not being exempt, adding, “I can’t pretend I wasn’t involved in some offscreen drama. Dave [Bernad] has seen it before, twice, and so has [creator] Mike [White]. I can’t speak for them, but I imagine they think it feeds into the onscreen drama, and they might well be right. I think the heat contributed to these fissures appearing.”
He concluded: “I was in some ways used to it, but within a couple of weeks my wife [Emma Hewitt] went, ‘Some of these people are f****ing mad.’ I said, ‘No, it’s just a bunch of actors away on location, love. You’ve forgotten what it’s like.’”
The commentary became a big deal when Isaacs’ quotes started to go viral. From there, fans of Rick and Chelsea’s fictional romance started to speculate about an offscreen connection between the actors following a blind item on Deuxmoi about costars who had an unfair.
The speculation was unsubstantiated and Goggins often spoke about having his wife, Nadia Conners, and their son in Thailand with him. The damage was already done, however, with online rumors continuing to spark as Goggins and Wood stopped following each other.
What People Are Saying
Fabio Lovino/HBO
Neither Goggins nor Wood weighed in on the rumors. He publicly thanked Wood for her hard work in a post-finale tribute, writing via Instagram, “For being my partner … a journey I will never forget.”
Wood also spoke about Goggins after he was missing from a finale event. “I was sad that Walton wasn’t there because it was something that we did together but also it’s so f***ing Rick and Chelsea,” Wood told The Hollywood Reporter. “Like, of course Walton had to watch it alone and of course I had to watch it in the group because there is so much Aimee in Chelsea and so much Walton in Rick.”
What We’re Saying
The White Lotus is a popular series, which makes sense why some want to keep the drama and the intrigue going in between seasons. It is also important to note that Isaacs ultimately walked back his statements after they made consistent headlines.
“I told the truth, while we were there, it’s a whole community. It was a city and it wasn’t just the actors. People need to remember it was the actors and the crew and the administrators and all these people were in a little pressure cooker together. And like anywhere you go for the summer, there’s friendships, there’s romances, there’s arguments, there’s cliques that form and break and reform and stuff like that,” he shared on SiriusXM’s TODAY Show Radio series The Happy Hour in April 2025. “I’m not stupid. I look at the internet. I only read every single word written about The White Lotus and about everybody in it.”
“All these amateur Sherlock Holmes out there, they’re extrapolating, ‘Well, one person posted this.’ And nobody has the slightest clue what they’re talking about. People who think they’re onto something, and then it gets magnified because of a thousand other people. Nobody has any clue what I’m talking about,” he continued. “I’m talking about people you’ve never met before half the time, in different departments and the people in the hair and costume and in the accounts department and stuff.”
He concluded: “First of all, it’s none of your business. I’m just saying it wasn’t a holiday. Partly I started saying that is because people think we were on a seven-month holiday and believe me, it felt like work a lot of the time. It was insanely hot and there’s all the normal social tensions you get anywhere, but for all of you thinking you’ve cracked it by something you think someone has posted or is in a photo or not, you’re just so far from the truth, believe me.”
The White Lotus has been renewed for a fourth season but no location, cast, theme or returning characters have been confirmed. So what is there left to do until there’s more information? Speculate wildly.
Meghan Markle is the talk of the town lately. If you’ve been living vicariously through her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, you already know her outfits oh, so swoon-worthy. Comprised of high-quality linens, billowy button-ups and soft knit sweaters, the Duchess of Sussex’s nails effortless and polished style. Earlier this month, the 43-year-old was spotted in a classy yet casual everyday outfit that included Baptise silk and hemp pants and an Anine Bing tee that’s sold out everywhere, with the coordinating set racking up a $475 receipt. She accessorized the look with Chanel slingbacks and Cartier jewelry, so her look was undoubtedly in the thousands — or tens of thousands. Luckily, we found a nearly identical outfit for just $38 on Amazon.
This knit outfit set nails Markle’s cozy chic aesthetic. Made of a breathable cotton material, this set includes a stretchy cap-sleeve top with lengthening ribbed material, a crew neckline and a darling chest pocket. It’s slouchy and relaxed-fitting with a refined appeal.

Worn together, these lounge set pieces are beyond elegant, perfect for fancy dinners out, walking the streets of Italy, running errands and everything in between. It’s the “everything” outfit you’ve been looking for!
While we love the look of these pieces worn together, you can mix and match them with other pieces in your wardrobe. Choose from seven different color combos, ranging from solid-color sets to striped varieties. If you want Markle’s look, however, you’ll want to opt for the white and beige.
Reviewers adore the set, calling it “a must buy” and “elegant, yet comfy like jammies.” “This set is stunning,” one writes. “It is like wearing buttery pajamas, and looking like you’re ready to go yachting.. the fit is spot on. I bought two of these in different colors and I love them both. They are beautiful!”
For a chic day-to-day outfit, try wearing this set with your favorite white sneakers, oversized sunnies and a shoulder bag. If you’re bringing it on vacation, all you need is a pair of sandals to be the center of attention. Dress it up with flats or loafers for the office. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

The so-called “ugly shoe trend” has been percolating for seasons, but it reached a fever pitch with an unexpected yet undeniably cool new collaboration between Balenciaga and Dr. Scholl’s.
The two labels have teamed up to bring together “Balenciaga’s savoir-faire with Scholl’s expertise in ultra-comfortable orthopedic footwear and insoles,” according to a press release.
The collection, debuting for Fall 2025 and now available for pre-order with prices ranging from $575 to $1,750, was born out of Balenciaga Creative Director Demna Gvasalia’s “desire to create the most comfortable heels ever made” while infusing the luxury French fashion house’s “signature footwear silhouettes with the unmatched comfort of Scholl products.”
Calfskin sandals with exposed cork soles accented by Scholl’s unmistakable metal buckles, which pay tribute to the original 1956 Pescura style, are offered in kitten heels and flats in black, glossy pink and silver metallic lambskin.
Platform perforated square-toe clogs and co-branded iterations of Balenciaga’s Pool Slide Sandals are rendered in shades of white and a decidedly versatile pastel orange hue.

There is also a Birkenstock-esque variation offering extra grip with the same edgy metal hardware. Everything is crafted with ergonomic insoles to take you into fall in stylish stride.
Vogue’s Sarah Mower aptly described it as a classic Demna-ism by taking the comfort-centric Dr. Scholl’s slide and turning it into a “spike-heeled fashion mule,” which she added looked “so ineffably cool when worn with a great big gray hip-length bomber and a flared knee-length skirt.”
Scholl, an Italian brand with over 100 years of experience in foot care, is world famous for its innovative, scientifically backed designs that prioritize comfort and wellness. Through Gvasalia’s distinctive lens, orthopedics have achieved unprecedented new levels of “ugly shoe” trendiness.
The Balenciaga | Scholl collaboration will be available in select Balenciaga stores worldwide and is now up for pre-order on balenciaga.com.
NASCAR driver Josh Berry might have walked the same high school hallways as Taylor Swift, but he’s learned his lesson about discussing his former classmate.
“It’s one of those things when you’re doing an interview one day and somebody’s like, ‘Hey, what’s a funny, crazy story about you?’” Berry, 34, said on a recent episode of the “Rubbin’ Is Racing” podcast. “I’m like, ‘Oh, I went to school with Taylor Swift.’ You don’t think that’s that big of a deal. But good gosh, man. It never ends.”
Berry and Swift, 35, both attended Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Swift completed 9th and 10th grades at the school before transferring to Aaron Academy, which offered homeschooling, to accommodate her blossoming music career.
“She was in a different grade,” Berry explained. “I didn’t really know her. I know of somebody who knew her kind of deal. But I didn’t really know her.”
“Then she starts dating Travis Kelce and it all comes back again,” Berry lamented. “I’m like, ‘I don’t care about Travis Kelce. He has nothing to do with me.’ It just never ends.”
Though he didn’t attend Hendersonville High, Berry also grew up near Indycar superstar Josef Newgarden, who was a student at Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School, less than 5 miles away in the same town.
“With Josef, we were both in school at the same time but we really didn’t know each of us raced,” Berry said. “He didn’t really know I raced, I didn’t really know he raced. We were around each other, but didn’t really connect the dots.”

Swift and her family moved from Pennsylvania to Hendersonville in 2004 so the burgeoning superstar could be closer to a prosperous music scene. When Swift’s mother, Andrea, informed former Henderson High School principal Paul Decker about those plans, he recalled being skeptical.
Google Maps
“Being at Hendersonville High School and as much music as there is in this area, I thought, ‘You don’t know how many times I’ve heard that right here in this office,’” Decker told WKRN-TV Nashville in a story published on Friday, April 11. “But I did say, ‘Well, I hope it works out for you.’”
Swift’s former teacher, Lile Rogers, told the outlet that she was “very nice and very sweet and not a diva at all.”
Pittsburgh Steelers legend Terry Bradshaw is setting the record straight amid rumors that he helped a plane full of trapped people escape.
After flying into Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, April 10, the plane he and other passengers were on experienced a malfunction. According to CBS News, the airplane’s door was stuck and as a result, the passengers were unable to exit the aircraft.
Several passengers claimed that Bradshaw, that in an effort to aid the flight crew, lent a helping hand, eventually forcing the stuck door opened so he and the other passengers could get to their final destination.
One of the passengers on the plane, Selah Holland, told CBS News at the time that “the pilot” made an announcement “and you could kind of hear he was chuckling as he said it.”
“But he said, ‘Thanks to the strength of one of our passengers, we were finally able to get the door open,’” Holland continued, “and I think we all knew he was alluding to Mr. Bradshaw.”
Gamble told CBS News affiliate KDKA-TV that people were aware Bradshaw was on the flight. Holland claimed another passenger made the comment that Bradshaw should “bust down the door,” but Holland didn’t think Bradshaw could do it being 76 years old.
“I mean honestly I was just ready to get off the flight, but the guy next to me had the joke that they should have him bust down the door, and I was like, ‘Well, maybe he could a few years ago.’ So I’m definitely eating my words,” Holland explained, noting that the story will be “a good one for family dinners and parties and all that.”
However, it’s not a true story. Bradshaw was on the plane but has since clarified that he was not needed to open the plane door.
“Just to set the record straight,” Bradshaw wrote in a post shared via Instagram on Friday, April 11. “I did nothing to open the door on the plane! The maintenance crew had it open in 15 [minutes].”
Bradshaw played his entire career as a quarterback for the Steelers from 1970 to 1983. He led the franchise to four Super Bowl wins in a six-year period from 1974 to 1979.
According to CBS News, Bradshaw traveled to Pittsburgh on April 10 to celebrate his first-ever Super Bowl win at a dinner thrown by fellow teammate, former Steelers cornerback Mel Blount, 50 years after the fact.
Blount joined the team the same year and retired from the sport the same year as Bradshaw.
Fans joked on social media that Bradshaw should come out of retirement to help the Steelers as the team continues to struggle to find a franchise quarterback after the original story was shared online.
“Any chance he could play QB1?” a fan asked.
“Steelers so down bad at QB they flying out Bradshaw to sign him,” another commenter joked.
Olivia Munn is channeling major rich mom energy this spring thanks to a wardrobe staple. On April 9, the actress — who has two little ones herself — braved the cool New York City weather wearing a classic beige trench coat. While it’s always tricky to dress for this time of year, Munn’s transitional layer proved this piece never goes out of style, and luckily, we found an affordable lookalike on Amazon.
A mainstay in the viral quiet luxury aesthetic, a beige trench coat is one of the most versatile and chic spring layers you can buy. While the Your Friends & Neighbors star looked ever-so-classy in an all-beige ensemble, a trench is easy to layer over jeans, fancy dresses and even shorts. The best part? You don’t have to have a movie star budget to get one. Simply pop over to Amazon and check out this $56 version, which looks way more expensive than its price tag.
Not only is the Makkrom Double Breasted Long Trench Coat both functional and fashionable, it’s the perfect way to channel Munn’s effortlessly elegant look. Like the actress’s pick, it has a relaxed fit, collared neck and front buttons. The Amazon option, however, is also double-breasted and includes notched lapels and side pockets.
Great for ever-changing spring weather, the Makkrom design is made from a blend of cotton and polyester, which ensures it’s both breathable and durable. The belted waist will help keep it closed while cinching your waist and highlighting your silhouette. While the under-$60 option comes in classic beige like Munn’s luxe alternative, there are also a few other colorways for shoppers to choose from, like black, olive and white. Find it in sizes S to XXL.
The affordable trench coat has also proven to be a hit, earning over 900 five-star ratings on Amazon. It also solidified a spot on the retailer’s bestseller list for trench coats.
One shopper raved about the “lightweight” feel that’s “perfect for unpredictable weather,” noting that it keeps them dry “without feeling bulky or heavy.”
“The material is soft yet durable, and the design is sleek and modern,” they said. “I love how comfortable it is to wear throughout the day.”
A spring coat is an important purchase, so it’s wise to browse through a few options before deciding on one. If you love Munn’s trench coat but want to make sure you’re shopping the right one for you, check out our other favorite beige trench coat options below.
