Three prominent legal analysts offered insight on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorneys’ sentencing recommendations following the verdict in his federal prosecution.

Diddy faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years behind bars following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday, July 2. A 12-person jury acquitted Diddy on the three arguably more serious charges — racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. The next step in the trial is for both the defense and prosecution to submit their sentencing recommendations to the court.

Jennifer Biedel, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York who is not connected to Diddy’s case, told Us Weekly that at sentencing, “The judge is required by federal statute to consider several factors.”

“[The factors include] the history and characteristics of Sean Combs, the nature and seriousness of the offense for which he was convicted and the need to promote respect for the law and to prevent Sean Combs and others from committing similar crimes in the future,” explained Biedel, who has prosecuted and defended sex crimes, represented Jeffrey Epstein survivors and advised institutions including Penn State during the Jerry Sandusky investigation.

“The judge will also look to the federal sentencing guidelines as a factor,” Biedel, who now practices at Dykema, added. “While it is not mandatory that the judge give a defendant a sentence that is within the guidelines, sentences in [the Southern District of New York] typically are near the low end of the guidelines range, barring some evidence of aggravating factors. Here, a rough estimate of that guidelines range is around two to three years, but that could increase to around five to six years if Sean Combs has a serious criminal history.”

Mark Chutkow, a former federal prosecutor who previously led the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Detroit, where he handled trafficking and racketeering cases, also spoke to Us about the verdict.

“The prostitution charges were the least serious of the counts in the indictment,” said Chutkow, who is not affiliated with the Diddy case. “While each has a 10-year statutory maximum, which could be imposed consecutively for a possible 20-year sentence, it is unlikely that the court would impose such a high sentence given the acquittal on the more serious charges. When imposing a sentence, the court will consider the fact that the prostitution charges did not involve a criminal enterprise nor allegations of force, fraud or coercion.”

NBC News legal analyst Misty Marris believes that Diddy’s legal team will likely request that he serve no more time behind bars, taking into account time served since his arrest in New York last September, while the prosecution is expected to seek a sentence much closer to the maximum of 20 years imprisonment.

Before Judge Arun Subramanian makes a final decision, a probation board will review the verdict and make a sentencing recommendation. The board’s suggestions will take into account Diddy’s behavior since his incarceration at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and the fact that this is a first-time offense for him.

“The judge is really limited in those sentencing guidelines,” Marris told NBC News’ Laura Jarrett. “There’s discretion up to that 10 years [per charge], but they’re going to use those guidelines in order to really pin down what would be appropriate under the circumstances.”

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo already asked Judge Subramanian to release the hip-hop mogul on a $1 million bond today so that he can return home to Miami. Agnifilo insisted that any member of Diddy’s family was willing to sign the legally binding bond order.

The attorney clarified that Diddy has already lost access to his private plane and would be “nothing short of a fool” if he violated any court orders, reported CNN.

“He treasures, I assure you, the opportunity that he has been given, and he will not run afoul of anything this court imposes on him,” Agnifilo vowed.

Judge Subramanian is expected to make his decision on Diddy’s potential release following a 1 p.m. ET deadline for his lawyers to formally submit their request.

Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Subramanian.

Wednesday’s verdict followed two days of jury deliberation. The jury previously indicated on Tuesday, July 1, that they’d reached a verdict on four of the five counts but were deadlocked on the racketeering charge. Judge Subramanian instructed the jury to continue deliberating on Wednesday, and they ultimately reached a verdict.

Diddy entered a not guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution following his arrest in New York in September 2024. The subsequent trial was built around testimony from Diddy’s former girlfriend Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) and an unnamed Jane Doe.

After Wednesday’s verdict was announced, Cassie’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor credited her with having “the courage to file her civil complaint” against Diddy in November 2023. Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. The disgraced mogul denied her claims. One day after the suit was filed, Diddy and Cassie settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.

“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” Widgor told Us. “By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial. She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.”

Cassie’s legal team vowed to continue to “fight on behalf of survivors” and insisted that the trial proved “change is long overdue.”

A courtroom reporter told Us that Diddy was “ecstatic” following Wednesday’s verdict as he thanked members of the jury and raised his hands in prayer. Eyewitnesses revealed to Us that Diddy attempted to greet his family members in the courtroom but was not allowed to do so.

Diddy’s supporters — including his mother, Janice Combs, and his son Justin Combs — were spotted celebrating outside the courtroom as his supporters shouted “Free Puff” following the verdict announcement on Wednesday.

The controversial verdict in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial caused a stir outside the Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse in New York City, leading to a verbal fight between his supporters and critics.

On Wednesday, July 2, two men were captured arguing over Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie after a jury found Diddy, 55, not guilty of sex trafficking despite her harrowing testimony about her alleged mistreatment at the hands of the rapper. Earlier in the day, the jury announced a verdict of guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. (Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges following his arrest last year.)

“Is he a woman abuser? Is he going to prison?” a man in a denim jacket, navy undershirt and orange sunglasses asked a man wearing a red bucket hat and red shirt regarding Diddy’s fate following the verdict.

“He beat her,” the man in denim yelled, referring to Diddy’s alleged physical abuse of Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) during their on-off relationship.

The man in the bucket hat claimed, “It doesn’t matter.” The first man fired back, “He beat her! He kicked her! He sat on her!”

The man wearing red didn’t care, shouting, “And she liked it, how about that?” A woman nearby then yelled, “She said, ‘No!’” backing Cassie, 38, and her allegations of abuse.

The man in denim tried to deescalate the situation, quieting the crowd so he could ask the man in red a question.

“Have you ever been so in love that it [is] a possibility that Cassie Ventura went through things like these horrific, horrible things — you agree the videos are horrible, right — is it possible she did things she wouldn’t normally do because she was so in love with this man?” the denim-clad individual asked. “The answer’s yes or no.”

The man wearing red took a minute and replied, “Yes,” but claimed, “At the end of the day, we all have cellphones. 911.” He started screaming “911,” implying that Cassie should have called for help if she was in danger.

The heated exchange came shortly after Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday following his trial. The musician was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.

During her multi-day testimony in May, Cassie, who dated Diddy on and off from 2007 to 2018, accused Diddy of sexually assaulting her and physically beating her on more than one occasion. She went into detail about the alleged violence, including explicit descriptions of Diddy’s “freak offs,” which she said she took part in to please her then-partner.

Following the jury’s verdict on Wednesday, Cassie released a statement via her attorney Douglas H. Wigdor.

Cassie previously sued Diddy in November 2023 for sexual assault and physical abuse, which Diddy adamantly denied. The exes settled the case out of court one day after Cassie filed.

Her lawsuit, however, created a ripple effect, and other people soon came forward with similar allegations of misconduct against Diddy. The music mogul has maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us in September 2024 following his client’s September 2024 arrest. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

The attorney continued: “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Diddy’s sentencing date has not been set, but according to a court reporter, Diddy was “ecstatic” about the jury’s decision.

Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor made it clear that she is not a “winner” after the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial came to an end.

“Obviously, Cassie Ventura, at that point in time and today, is not the winner,” Wigdor told CNN on Wednesday, July 2. “She endured 10 years of abuse where she had to engage in days long sexual acts with UTIs, she alleged that she was she was raped.”

He added, “To call her a winner, even though she did get $30 million part from, as she testified, part from Sean Combs, part from the hotel, no amount of money is going to ever undo what she had to endure and what she had to go through.”

Cassie testified against Diddy in May, detailing alleged physical and sexual abuse she endured throughout their on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.

Wigdor noted that Cassie is “really trying to look forward” in the aftermath of the trial.

“Both she and I didn’t really take well to that as her being ‘a winner,’” he added.

Wigdor’s statement came days after Diddy’s defense attorney Marc Agnifilo claimed in court on June 27 that Cassie — full name Casandra Ventura — came out of Diddy’s trial on top.

“If you had to pick a winner in this whole thing, it’s Cassie,” Agnifilo said at the time. “She is sitting somewhere in the world with $30 million.”

Wigdor spoke with CNN on Wednesday after the verdict in Diddy’s two-month trial was delivered. A New York jury found the music mogul guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was further acquitted on two counts of sex trafficking and one racketeering conspiracy charge. Diddy faces up to 20 years in prison if given the maximum sentence.

During the same interview with CNN, Wigdor noted that there were “a lot of mixed emotions in that courtroom” after Diddy’s verdict was read.

“Obviously, we would’ve liked to have seen convictions on the RICO charges and the sex trafficking charges, but Cassie prompted this investigation by the Southern District, and now Sean Combs stands before this court as a convicted felon of two crimes,” he added, noting that this is “not the exact outcome that we wanted.”

Despite Diddy’s acquittal on three charges, Cassie is “comforted in knowing that not only has she played a role in the criminal prosecution but that she shined a light on this behavior,” Wigdor added.

Cassie broke her silence on the verdict in a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday, released through Wigdor.

Outer Banks fans hoping to see Kiara explore a romance with Rafe in season 5 may not get their wish.

Madison Bailey posted a TikTok on Tuesday, July 2, showing the cast on set. A fan replied in the comments section, writing, “Maddie tell Kiara I want her with Rafe now!”

Bailey, 26, replied and made it clear she wasn’t as on board with the fictional couple. “She said no,” she said.

Bailey’s opinion comes as some viewers were hoping season 5 would be the time for Kiara and arch nemesis Rafe (Drew Starkey) to explore their chemistry. Other fans, however, pointed out that it wouldn’t make sense in the narrative considering Kiara’s boyfriend, JJ (Rudy Pankow), just died.

“It’s a hard turn to go straight to a Rafe and Kiara ’ship given where they’ve been in the past,” creator Josh Pate told Cosmopolitan in November 2024 before adding, “We also know how great Drew and Madison are as actors and how great they are together. Outer Banks, which debuted in 2020, follows the conflict between two groups of teenagers in a coastal North Carolina town. The social divide is introduced with the wealthy residents (a.k.a. the Kooks) and the working class (the Pogues). Since season 1, Kiara and Rafe have not been on good terms — especially as Sarah’s (Madelyn Cline) brother antagonized their friend group and killed a few people along the way.

Season 5 is currently filming and is expected to follow the aftermath of JJ’s shocking death. The show originally received backlash when Pankow’s departure was confirmed despite the writing team claiming it was always the plan to kill off the fan-favorite character.

“It’s been kind of lurking in his DNA from the beginning. He’s really a tragic figure, and the idea of mortality, and you only have a finite window — it’s also a theme of the show,” executive producer Jonas Pate told The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024. “It’s something John B. has talked about from the first season. So believe it or not, this is something that was always sort of baked in the cake, and we just wanted to tell the story as elegantly and interestingly as possible.”

After JJ’s onscreen death, the show’s creators explained their decision to kill off a Pogue.

“The overarching plan was to begin with just some kids who wanted to have a good time all the time, and take them on a whole journey,” Shannon Burke told Deadline in November 2024. “One of them was going to end up dying, and pretty early on, we knew that was going to be JJ, he’s the most reckless. He is also the most beloved and, in one way, the most sacrificing and the most risk-taking. And this was going to be JJ’s year.”

He continued: “The kids, they’re getting older. We wanted to begin in a place of innocence and then go to a place that at least one point to go is really dark for them, and then have them come out of it. That’s the overarching plan for the show. It was always JJ that was going to be, we just weren’t sure how we were going to play it.”

A jury of 12 New Yorkers decided the fate of Sean “Diddy” Combs during his highly publicized sex trafficking case.

After nearly seven weeks of testimony, eight men and four women came up with a verdict following less than three full days of deliberation.

Diddy, 55, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday, July 2. He was, however, acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. Each transportation charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. (Diddy previously pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all of the allegations against him.)

While the identities of each jury member are only known to the judge and lawyers, each juror revealed a little bit about themselves as they were selected for the trial.

How Diddy Reacted After Verdict Was Reached in Sex Trafficking Trial

According to NBC News, those selected range from ages 30 to 74 and live in different parts of New York, including Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester County.

The men and women come from various professions, with an investment analyst, a physician assistant, a massage therapist, a social worker and a deli clerk all serving on the jury.

Six alternate jurors were also selected for the trial. Those four men and two women range in age from 24 to 71.

Before the trial officially began on May 5, potential jurors were asked about their familiarity with various celebrities, including those who personally knew or had been involved with Diddy.

Some high-profile witnesses who ended up testifying in the trial included Cassie, Kid Cudi and Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard.

Before deliberations began, Judge Arun Subramanian delivered specific instructions to the jury. He asked the men and women not to jump to conclusions based on their personal likes or dislikes before reminding the group that “your verdict must be unanimous, but you are not bound to sharing your honest convictions.”

“If you listen to the views of your fellow jurors, and you use your own common sense, you will find a common verdict,” Subramanian added.

On Monday, June 30, Subramanian received a note from the jury’s foreperson, stating that they were “concerned” that one jury member “cannot follow your honor’s instructions” during deliberations.

The man, referred to as juror No. 25 in the note, is reportedly a 51-year-old man from Manhattan who holds a degree in molecular biology and works as a veterinarian, according to Reuters. (The judge ultimately decided that no further action was needed.)

Shortly after the verdict was announced, Subramanian thanked the jury for their service and commitment to the case for nearly two months. (Diddy also mouthed “thank you” to the jury with prayer hands before looking up.)

“I want you to know that it is inspiring to all of us. You listened, you worked together, you were here every day, rain or shine. You did so with no reward, other than the reward that comes from answering the call of public service,” he said via CNN. “That should give all of us hope.”

Subramanian also warned the jury that members of the press will likely try to speak with them about the case in the future. He asked them not to speak about other jurors’ views or how the deliberations played out.

“There is an important reason to respect the privacy of your deliberations,” he said. “That being said, the choice of whether to speak to others about the case and your personal views is up to you.”

Anna Camp didn’t expect her relationship with Jade Whipkey to be such a huge deal.

“We’re definitely surprised by all of the attention, to be totally honest,” Camp, 42, told Cosmopolitan on the red carpet at the 2025 Mediterrane Film Festival’s Golden Bee Awards in Malta on Sunday, June 29. “We’ve been a bit surprised by all of the hubbub, but there’s been a lot of support so we’re very grateful and thankful for everybody who is supportive of us. It’s lovely.”

Camp added, “We’re so happy together. It’s just been such a wonderful, transformative time in my life. I’m so thankful to have her by my side.”

Jason Kelce was prepared to go the extra mile to make sure he had smooth skin while posing in a Speedo.

Jason, 37, opened up about wearing a Speedo during his annual Beer Bowl on the Jersey Shore, which raises money for the Eagles Autism Foundation, during a Wednesday, July 2, episode of his “New Heights” podcast, which he hosts alongside brother Travis Kelce.

“I think everybody saw the viral moment with the Speedo,” Jason said, referencing a moment where he tore off his swim shorts and revealed the itty-bitty design. The former Philadelphia Eagles player explained that he was wearing a Speedo because he lost a weight loss competition against his teammate Beau Allen.

“We talked about maybe adding something else to [the bet] and the most asked thing from our fans was that the loser also has to get waxed,” he said.

Travis asked how the wax felt, to which Jason replied, “I mean it wasn’t fun. The people at European Wax in Philadelphia did a great job. They made it as comfortable as they could. I had a great technician. I understand why some men get it [but] it’s not a thing I’m gonna redo,” he said while Travis cracked up in the background.

Jason went on to say that the technician tried to talk him into getting a Brazilian wax, but Jason denied it. “They said the butt [strip] isn’t as painful but I don’t like anything in that crease. That’s a no-fly zone for me.”

While they continued chatting, Travis was sent a video of Jason getting the wax done and couldn’t stop laughing. “The spread eagle is hilarious,” he said of Jason’s position.

Jason continued, sharing he was surprised he had to remove all his clothing from “the waist down” upon starting the appointment. “They say, ‘Now assume the butterfly position.’ I am filleted open. I look like a turkey. I took it like a man.”

Lena Dunham is hoping to expand her family soon despite fertility setbacks amid health issues.

Dunham, 39, spoke about enduring years of chronic illness in an interview with The Times published on Saturday, June 28. The Girls writer and star had a hysterectomy in 2017 in order to escape the excruciating pain of endometriosis. Still, she’s not giving up the dream of becoming a mother.

“It was a grief but it was also a relief,” she said of the surgery, during which doctors removed her uterus, cervix and one of her ovaries. “I thought I would have the opportunity to experience my fertility and my cycle waning and it never was. Instead it was a very quick, sharp cut-off … I will say we’re in the process of expanding our family in new ways.”

Although she didn’t divulge intimate information on the subject, Dunham added, “I want to safely meet our children and then figure out how to talk about it.”

In a December 2020 piece for Harper’s Magazine titled “False Labor,” Duham discussed the pain of “giving up on motherhood” after she attempted to have a baby following medical conditions, a stint in rehab and a painful breakup from her longtime boyfriend, Jack Antonoff.

“There is a lot you can correct in life — you can end a relationship, get sober, get serious, say sorry — but you can’t force the universe to give you a baby that your body has told you all along was an impossibility,” she concluded the memoir. “Weak animals die in the woods as their pack mates run ahead. Bad eggs don’t hatch. You can’t bend nature.”

She added: “The irony is that knowing I cannot have a child — my ability to accept that and move on — may be the only reason I deserve to be anyone’s parent at all. I think I finally have something to teach somebody.”

After a whirlwind romance, Dunham married English-Peruvian musician Luis Felber in September 2021 after she felt “it wasn’t possible to resist it.” They now live in the U.K. and are gearing up for future family life.

“In the long term our big dream is to have a farm situation in the countryside,” she told The Times. “And children with British accents skipping off to school in little hats and uniforms. It’s too charming!”

Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard shared her reaction to the Sean “Diddy” Combs verdict in a statement via her attorney Lisa Bloom.

“Today’s split verdict is a disappointment, but the criminal charges are different than the civil claims we filed and have been fighting against Sean Combs,” Bloom told Us Weekly in a statement on Wednesday, July 2. “We will continue to aggressively fight our case until we obtain full and complete justice for Dawn.”

Diddy, 55, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday, July 2. He was not guilty on one count of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. (Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied the allegations against him.)

Richard, 41, previously filed a lawsuit against Diddy in September 2024, days before he was arrested. She accused him of manipulating, terrorizing and sexually abusing her and claimed that she witnessed him physically abusing ex-girlfriend Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura).

In her suit, Richard alleged that Diddy abused her by forcing her to rehearse days at a time without sleep and claimed he promised to advance her singing career if she complied with his demands.

Richard further alleged that Diddy touched her inappropriately after barging into her dressing room at his recording studio and once locked her in a car for two hours as she yelled for help. Her lawsuit also included additional claims that she saw Diddy harm other people in front of her, including his late girlfriend Kim Porter in 2005. Years later, Richard allegedly saw Diddy throw Cassie against a wall before choking her in his Los Angeles home.

Diddy denied Richard’s allegations in a September 2024 statement shared via his attorney Erica Wolff. “Mr. Combs is shocked and disappointed by this lawsuit. In an attempt to rewrite history, Dawn Richard has now manufactured a series of false claims all in the hopes of trying to get a payday — conveniently timed to coincide with her album release and press tour,” Wolff told Us at the time. “If Ms. Richard had such a negative experience with Making the Band and Danity Kane, she would not have chosen to continue working directly with Mr. Combs for Dirty Money, nor would she have returned for the Making the Band reboot in 2020 or agreed to be featured on The Love Album last year. It’s unfortunate that Ms. Richard has cast their 20-year friendship aside to try and get money from him, but Mr. Combs is confidently standing on truth and looks forward to proving that in court.”

Richard testified in the trial in May, alleging that she once saw Diddy try to hit Cassie, 38, with a hot skillet in 2009.

“He came downstairs angry and was saying, ‘Where the f*** was his eggs’ and he was telling Cassie she never gets anything right and where the f*** was his food,” Richard claimed. “And he came over to the skillet with the eggs in it and tried to hit her over the head, and she fell to the ground.”

Richard went on to allege that Diddy continued to beat Cassie while she was on the floor then “proceeded to take his arm around her neck and dragged her by the hair up the stairs.” The following day, Diddy allegedly invited Richard and her Dirty Money bandmate Kalenna Harper to record with him in the studio, where he told them the attack they’d both seen was “passion.” Richard further claimed he threatened them, saying, “People who say something can end up missing.”

It’s going to be a summer of mysteries in the Big Brother house, and everyone’s favorite summer guilty pleasure is ready to go all-in on the theme.

CBS released a first look at the Big Brother 27 house on Wednesday, July 2, and, true to form, it begs more questions than answers. When the game begins, houseguests will enter the Big Brother “Hotel Mystère,” where “secrets lurk behind every door and nothing is as it seems,” according to a release from CBS.

As detailed as the house design is — and it’s honestly impressive — fans are sure to raise an eyebrow at a line from CBS about casting. This is, after all, the Big Brother preseason when casting rumors run rampant.

“In a season full of surprises, the premiere will be filled with unexpected twists and turns including a masked visitor, a secret accomplice and the shocking arrival of a ‘Mystery Houseguest’ whose identity will remain under wraps…at least for now,” the release reads.

‘BIg Brother’ Teases Summer of Mysteries Theme and Mystery Houseguest

Big Brother has done the mystery houseguest gimmick each of the last two seasons. In Big Brother 25, Survivor legend Cirie Fields surprised fans at the end of the premiere episode as the surprise 17th player. Then, in Big Brother 26, players had the option to vote in Ainsley, an AI houseguest, which they declined to do.

As for the house itself, it looks eerily reminiscent of the castle used in The Traitors, complete with hidden passageways, a secretive wine cellar and dizzying detail in every corner that houseguests will undoubtedly have to study for a competition sometime down the line.

Once houseguests step through the front door (just don’t be the first one!), they’ll encounter 75 key boxes, some filled with skeleton keys and others with clues that can help them in the game.

Four giant chess pieces overlook the living room, serving as a constant reminder of the maneuvering it takes to navigate a summer-long power struggle. Meanwhile, the adjacent kitchen is rooftop garden themed, perfect for schmoozing and subtle strategy.

The bedrooms take the mystery theme even further. One is billed as the Attic Bedroom of Oddities, with beds made from wooden crates, rubber masks on the wall and “haunted artifacts” that make the room a “spooky treasure trove.” The other is the Sleeper Car Bunk Room, a “train-themed bedroom straight out of a murder mystery novel” with bunk beds, which Big Brother has not had since season 1 in 2000.

Upstairs, houseguests will encounter the venom lounge and poison bar, which CBS confirms does not contain real poison. It does, however, have snakes slithering across the wallpaper and ravens (the bird, not BB19’s Raven Walton) watching over the players.

Big Brother 27 premieres Thursday, July 10 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Unlike in other recent seasons, fans won’t have night one live feeds — the feeds will come on after the second episode, airing Sunday, July 13, also at 8.

Mikayla Raines’ husband, Ethan Frankamp, is picking up the pieces at the SaveAFox rescue after her death by suicide.

“There’s a feeling here at the rescue I’ve never felt before. Empty. Sad. Cold. Despite all of the animals and staff here, there is an overwhelming loneliness,” Frankamp wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, July 1. “But I am trying to get out, and make sure the animals feel loved. I’m trying to be a good dad. I’m trying to make up for the absence of their favorite person. I can’t explain it to the animals, and I can’t make it comprehensible for our daughter. But I can be there for them. Just like Mikayla always was.”

Frankamp shared that he has “never experienced anything so difficult, so absolutely life shattering” but he is “trying to be as strong as I can.”

“I wanted to thank you all for your overwhelming support. I hope Mikayla can see it, all of it. I desperately hope she can feel the support, love and compassion everyone is showing for HER,” he wrote. “I hope it washes over her like warm waves, and she feels nothing but peace. I hope she’s surrounded by animals she has loved and lost. Thank you all, from the entire team at Saveafox. .”

Frankamp shared via YouTube last month that his wife died by suicide after facing alleged online bullying. “She couldn’t bear what she was feeling any longer and she ended her life,” Frankamp said in the video. “It breaks my heart that someone who is selfless and devoted her life to animals could have so much negativity pointed at her.”

In the wake of Raines’ death, Frankamp’s sister created a GoFundMe to support him, particularly in covering funeral expenses. In a separate GoFundMe, Frankamp’s sister encouraged fans to fundraise for the future of the couple’s daughter, Freya.

“As you know Mikayla Raines recently passed away, she is survived by her husband, Ethan and 3yr old daughter, Freya,” the message read. “There have been a few people asking about where they can donate towards college and future expenses for Freya. Ethan plans to continue the non-profit, SaveAFox, in Mikayla’s honor. This will make it much more challenging to put aside money for Freya’s future. It would be a huge blessing to Ethan and Freya to have some money set aside for her. Thank you for all your support.”

While reflecting on her daughter’s final days, Sandi Raines explained that Mikayla had recently rescued 500 foxes and rehomed 400 of them.

“She was just beating herself up that she couldn’t find homes for the last hundred; it wasn’t quite fast enough. She was still finding them, but not as fast as she found the other ones. She was beating herself up about that,” Sandi exclusively told Us Weekly.

Sandi also claimed that Mikayla had been navigating online bullying, which began four years ago. Sandi shared that the alleged internet harassment “broke” Mikayla, who never cared about online fame and only wanted to rescue animals.

Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared to react to the jury reaching a verdict in his sex trafficking and racketeering trial.

In a courtroom sketch obtained by Us Weekly, Diddy, 55, was spotted bending down underneath the table. He appeared to rest his head in his hands as the verdict was read.

News broke on Wednesday, July 2, that Diddy had been found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The jury found him not guilty on the remaining charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy has not been sentenced yet, though each count of transportation carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Diddy was arrested in New York in September 2024 after a grand jury indicted him on charges of transportation, sex trafficking and racketeering. The indictment claimed that he “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” in an effort to fulfill “his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct,” with the alleged incidents dating back to 2009.

Breaking Down Diddy’s Legal Troubles and Accusations: A Timeline

Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo addressed the arrest in a statement to Us Weekly at the time.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Agnifilo said. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

Agnifilo continued, “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Diddy subsequently pleaded not guilty to all charges and had continued to deny all the allegations against him.

Diddy’s trial began on May 5. He made several attempts to be released on bail ahead of the trial, but he ultimately dropped his appeal in December 2024, agreeing to remain behind bars in New York until the proceedings began.

Despite making appearances in court in the months after his arrest, Diddy remained out of the public eye since cameras were not allowed inside the courtroom. Following a December 2024 hearing, Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner claimed that Diddy “appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect [from him being] inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now.”

Millner added, “A lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before, but [he] appeared very noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to weigh on him.”

Shortly after Millner’s remarks made headlines, a source told Us that Diddy was doing well as he awaited trial.

“[He’s] fit, healthy and fully focused on his defense,” the insider said at the time. “He has been very active, remains in good spirits, and, as always, he was happy to see his children.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made the day of a local business near the Kansas City Chiefs star’s hometown.

Swift and Kelce, both 35, had lunch at JoJo’s Bar in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 1. Chagrin Falls is right outside of Cleveland Heights, where Kelce was raised. 

“We were lucky enough to have a special visitor today at JoJo’s,” Michael Dei Maggi, the corporate chef and culinary director for NCR Ventures, which owns JoJo’s, told Cleveland.com on Tuesday. “It’s a huge deal for us. We try to approach every single guest visit as if they’re super VIP.”

Del Maggi added, “We have the ability to create some really cool, sequestered spaces and high-security private spaces for those very rare occasions that you have rock and roll and football royalty in the restaurant.”

The couple originally hoped to dine at 17 River Grille, another NCR restaurant in Chagrin Falls, but Del Maggi said JoJo’s was better equipped to handle the A-list couple’s privacy requirements. 

Swift and Kelce used a side door from the Inn of Chagrin to enter the restaurant for their meal. 

“We’re connected to JoJo’s,” Inn of Chagrin managing partner Molly Gebler told Cleveland’s 3News on Tuesday. “There’s a door in our lobby that goes right into JoJo’s. “We’re a little quieter right now; there aren’t any people in our lobby, so I’m sure that was probably their intent.”

While Swift and Kelce managed to keep things low-key, one JoJo’s employee had a brief moment of shock upon seeing them. 

“First I was caught off guard,” JoJo’s co-manager Ryan Schwartz told 3 News. “Someone’s like, ‘Oh my God, Taylor Swift’s here.’ I’m like, ‘No way.’ So I was kind of sneaking up to take a little look, and it was her.”

Schwartz added, “Of course, she had her security detail with her, so we chose as a restaurant group to kind of just respect her privacy.”

JoJo’s lunch menu includes specialties like crispy chicken limone pasta, a turkey burger and a chicken milanese sandwich. Starters include JoJo’s Nantucket clam chowder, jumbo Maryland crab cakes and house-made wedding soup.

After word got out that Swift and Kelce were dining at the restaurant, fans began flocking there in hopes of catching a glimpse of the couple. 

“She’s beautiful, her music’s wonderful,” Renee Miano told 3News. “I was hoping to see her, but they said that she’s probably on her way to the airport.”

Queen Elizabeth II’s cousin and confidante Lady Elizabeth Anson, who died in 2020, reportedly knew details about the late monarch’s relationship with Meghan Markle.

Anson, who died at age 79, spoke to royal author Sally Bedell Smith in a posthumous interview published by The Times of London on Wednesday, July 2.

“[Prince] Harry wrote to me and said they were going another way. He said, ‘I am close to my grandmother, and she is content with this,’” Anson said, referring to Harry, now 40, and Meghan, 43, planning their 2018 wedding. “When I spoke with the queen, she said she is not at all content. Meghan could turn into nothing but trouble. She sees things in a different way.”

Elizabeth, who died in 2022 at the age of 96, was allegedly “dismayed” that Harry asked the Archbishop of Canterbury to perform the ceremony in St George’s Chapel without obtaining permission from the Dean of Windsor first, according to Anson.

“Harry seems to think the queen can do what she wants, but she can’t,” Anson claimed. “On the religious side, it is the Dean of Windsor’s jurisdiction. … Harry has blown his relationship with his grandmother. Harry, who is one of Elizabeth’s grandchildren, is said to have repaired his relationship with his grandmother within months. Anson, meanwhile, spoke to Bedell Smith two weeks before Harry and Meghan tied the knot and claimed that Elizabeth told her that  “the jury is out on whether she likes Meghan.”

“My Jemima is very worried,” Anson said, using her informal nickname for Elizabeth. “Harry is besotted and weak about women. We hope, but don’t quite think she is in love. We think she engineered it all.”

Harry and Meghan ultimately took a step down from their duties as senior working royals in 2020. They moved from London to Montecito, California, to raise their two children: Prince Archie, now 6, and Princess Lilibet, now 4.

While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not addressed Anson’s posthumous claims, they were reported to be on good terms with Elizabeth after leaving England.

“They have kept a great relationship with [Prince] Philip and the queen,” royal expert Omid Scobie told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. “We heard Harry talking very warmly about his [grandparents] on James Corden’s show not so long ago.”

Harry appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden in February 2021, noting that Elizabeth even sent Archie a waffle maker as a gift.

“My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker,” the prince said at the time. “She sent us a waffle maker for Archie. So [for] breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful, organic mix, [puts it] in the waffle maker, flips it, out it comes. He loves it. … Archie wakes up in the morning and just goes, ‘Waffle?’”

Harry also revealed that he and Meghan had Zoom video chats with both Elizabeth and Philip, who died later that year at the age of 99.

Harry attended Philip’s funeral in April 2021 solo, while Meghan stayed home with Archie amid her pregnancy with Lilibet. The married couple later both attended Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022.

50 Cent is weighing in after a verdict was reached in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial.

“Diddy beat the Feds that boy a bad man ! ,” 50 Cent, 49, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, July 2, alongside a photo of him smiling. “Beat the Rico, he the Gay John Gotti @50centaction.”

News broke on Wednesday that Diddy, 55, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. This carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison for each charge, totaling 20 years. The disgraced rap mogul was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.

When Diddy’s verdict was read, an eyewitness told Us Weekly that Diddy gave a nod of approval to the jury and mouthed, “Thank you.” He gave prayer hands to the jury before looking up and praying.

Days later, 50 Cent clarified his remarks while sharing a screenshot of a Daily Beast article with the headline, “50 Cent Plans to Nuke Diddy’s Chances at a Pardon.” He wrote via Instagram in June, “I didn’t say I would Nuke anything. I simply said I will make sure Trump is aware. .”

In September 2024, Diddy was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.

Aubrey O’Day broke her silence after a verdict in the trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs came through.

“Wow,” she captioned an Instagram video on Wednesday, July 2. O’Day, 41, filmed CNN journalists revealing the verdict as she shared her live reaction in the clip.

“This makes me physically ill,” she said. “I’m gonna vomit.”

A New York jury found Diddy, 55, guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday. He was subsequently acquitted of three other charges, including two sex trafficking charges and one racketeering conspiracy charge. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

O’Day has been outspoken against Diddy since the beginning of his legal battle. She started covering the trial on an iHeartRadio podcast that launched on May 16, shortly after the trial began.

She also told Us Weekly exclusively late last month that Diddy’s trial has impacted her love life.

“You know, there’s nothing that can really murder your sex life that’s bigger than the Diddy trial,” she said. “And I talked to Homeland Security over a year and something ago. I haven’t been interested [in dating]. I haven’t had sex in years.”

O’Day first crossed paths with Diddy when she competed on Making the Band 3, which aired on MTV from 2005 to 2006. O’Day, alongside Aundrea Fimbres, D. Woods, Dawn Richard and Shannon Bex, formed the group Danity Kane, which was signed by Diddy’s Bad Boy Records. When the Making the Band 4 finale aired in 2008, Diddy announced that O’Day had been kicked out of the group.

In more recent years, O’Day has been outspoken about her past experiences with Diddy — especially as various allegations came out against him.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ family members were spotted smiling as they left a Manhattan federal court following a verdict in his sex trafficking trial on Wednesday, July 2.

The hip-hop mogul, 55, was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution but acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. Diddy is facing a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison.

According to NBC News, Diddy’s entourage — including his mother, Janice Combs, and his son Justin Combs — smiled as they exited the courthouse. They entered a waiting van, which was reportedly mobbed by fans chanting, “Free Puff!”

Diddy’s defense attorney Marc Agnifilo has already requested in court that Diddy “be released on appropriate conditions” so he could return to his home in Miami. The lawyer told Judge Arun Subramanian that “any” member of Diddy’s family was willing to sign a $1 million bond to grant Diddy release pending sentencing, reported CNN.

“Mr. Combs has been given his life by this jury,” his defense attorney told the judge.

Agnifilo insisted Diddy would be “nothing short of a fool” if he were to violate the terms of a potential bond release and noted that the musician no longer has access to his private plane.

“He treasures, I assure you, the opportunity that he has been given, and he will not run afoul of anything this court imposes on him,” Diddy’s attorney promised.

The judge is expected to make a decision on releasing Diddy following a 1 p.m. ET deadline for his lawyers to formally submit their request. Earlier, Judge Subramanian thanked the jury for reaching a verdict and formally dismissed them from the courtroom.

“I want you to know that it is inspiring to all of us,” the judge told the jury. “You listened, you worked together, you were here every day, rain or shine. You did so with no reward, other than the reward that comes from answering the call of public service. That should give all of us hope.”

The 12-person jury originally reached a verdict on four of the five counts on Tuesday, July 1, but informed Judge Subramanian that they were deadlocked on the racketeering conspiracy charge. The jury was given instructions by the judge to continue deliberating and ultimately rendered their verdict on Wednesday morning.

Diddy entered a not guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution following his arrest in New York in September 2024. The subsequent trial focused primarily on allegations made by Diddy’s former girlfriend Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) and an unnamed Jane Doe.

Following Wednesday’s verdict, Cassie’s attorney told reporters: “At the end of the day, [Diddy] needs to be sentenced pursuant to the guidelines and pursuant to what the law is. My understanding is that he faces significant incarceration.”

Diddy’s arrest came nearly one year after Cassie, 38, filed a lawsuit against him accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. The mogul denied her claims in a statement shared by his attorney.

“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations,” Diddy’s lawyer Ben Brafman said at the time.

One day after the suit was filed, Diddy and Cassie settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.

Bridgerton fans hoping to see more of Anthony Bridgerton in season 4 shouldn’t hold their breath.

Jonathan Bailey was asked whether viewers will be seeing “more” of him in season 4, to which he told Buzzfeed UK on Tuesday, July 1, “No. Because the story’s moved on and that’s what’s beautiful about Bridgerton.”

He added: “But I will be there. Of course, to support. I’m really looking forward to it and it’s going to be brilliant.”

Production wrapped on season 4 last month after Bailey, 37, confirmed he would be reprising his role as the eldest Bridgerton sibling.

“I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘Thanks, bye.’ It’s not in my nature,” he told The Hollywood Reporter in June when asked about his future on the hit Netflix series. “There’s a real sense of brotherly pride I feel in it.”

Bailey went on to subtly spoil his upcoming scenes in season 4, adding. “I was filming a wedding on a Monday morning. People know that people get married in Bridgerton — that’s not a spoiler, right?”

The next installment of the hit Netflix series will center on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his love story with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha). Anthony’s story, meanwhile, has continued since his marriage to Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) but the fan-favorite couple hasn’t been the focus after wrapping up season 2.

Bridgerton previously received backlash for not spending as much time on Anthony and Kate. Despite their season getting wrapped up, some viewers felt that the characters didn’t get the focus they deserved after not getting together until the last few minutes of season 2.

Ahead of the show’s sophomore season, then-showrunner Chris van Dusen hinted that Bridgerton would be taking a different approach when it came to showing the passion between Anthony and Kate.

“It was never about quantity for us,” the creator told reporters in March 2022. “Our approach to intimacy on the show really is the same as season 1. And we use these intimate scenes to tell a story and to push the story forward. We’ve never done a sex scene for the sake of doing a sex scene, and I don’t think we ever will.”

Dusen added: “It all serves a larger purpose and it’s a different story this season. It’s different characters. We’re with Anthony and Kate most of the [second] season and that’s very different from Daphne and Simon. And that’s really part of the draw to me of a project like this, the ability to tell these close-ended love stories of different characters season after season.”

Ashley, 30, meanwhile, argued that the emotional intimacy between Kate and Anthony was much more important than sex, saying, “It makes sense for these characters because they’re so protective over their families and they’re so truthful to their duties and responsibilities — so for them to break that wouldn’t have made sense for the characters. And as Chris has said, they aren’t performative sex scenes or intimate scenes. They have a meaning behind them and I think it’s very earned when the fireworks happen.”

At the time, Bailey defended Bridgerton’s decision to scale back on the sex scenes.

“What you lose in sex scenes you gain in a deeper human understanding, which hopefully enriches the world so that the future intimacy scenes won’t be the heavy feature, and [you] won’t have to lean on them as much. It’s right to surprise an audience and keep them on their toes a bit,” he told USA Today in March 2022. “It would have been wrong for Kate and Anthony to have got physical any sooner than they did. And I think the payoff is really earned.”

Anthony and Kate did get more bedroom scenes in season 3 before disappearing on another honeymoon. They returned in the second half of season 3, which premiered in 2024, to announce Kate’s pregnancy before once again making plans to leave — this time for India.

Despite their screen time being scaled back, Bailey and Ashley are expected to continue to make appearances in upcoming seasons. Netflix recently confirmed that Bridgerton, which is based on the book series by Julia Quinn, was renewed for seasons 5 and 6.

Nine Perfect Strangers’ season 2 finale drops more than one bombshell, revealing how each retreater is connected — and who is responsible for their pain.

During the Wednesday, July 2, episode of the Hulu series, Masha (Nicole Kidman) tells everyone that their trauma is tethered to David (Mark Strong) and his many companies.

One by one, the guests realize that David exploited his way to the top and left behind a trail of pain and suffering. To fix things, David vows to stop making bombs and dismantle Signal Ops’ weapons production.

While Masha unravels David’s wrongdoings, Martin (Lucas Englander) spirals out of control on a bad mushrooms trip. At the height of his delusions, he grabs a gun and goes after David and Masha, whom he blames for stealing Zauberwald from him.

David, who is also under the influence of psychedelics, walks out into a snowstorm to try and get service and make good on his promise. As the snow parts, Masha finds him on a bridge and then Martin with a gun.

Masha steps in front of the gun to protect David. Martin is hearing his late mother Dr. Helena’s (Lena Olin) voice taunting him to get revenge. He then pulls the trigger, and Masha goes over the bridge.

David runs to her side and helps her get back to the retreat where she manages to survive the attack. One month later, David and Masha are reunited and broker a deal pegged to her psychedelic business.

Brian

Brian’s (Murray Bartlett) connection to David was revealed earlier this season. David owned one of the networks that constantly played Brian’s Crabapple Clubhouse meltdown on a loop, further ruining his career. David claims he didn’t directly oversee the coverage.

After weeks of seeing his former puppet costar as a hallucination, Brian decides he needs to leave the physical toy behind and start fresh. Once on the ski lift back to civilization, Agnes (Dolly De Leon) asks if he wants to entertain again, but this time at hospitals, charity events, etc. and he says yes!

Agnes

According to Masha, when Agnes was working under Mother Irene as a nun and nurse and lost a woman and her baby, it was David’s fault. Mother Irene’s humanitarian work was funded by David’s company, and she abided by strict protocols which resulted in preventable deaths — one of which was the death that led to Agnes’ crisis of faith.

David says his company did an “expose” on Mother Irene, but Masha claims it was only because another outlet was about to scoop them. Masha also alleges that David’s company created the bombs and then funded the hospitals to help clean up their messes.

Agnes leaves the Austrian Alps in normal clothes, not her nun attire. She decides to team up with Brian to make children’s lives better and continue to do good.

Matteo

Earlier this season, viewers learned that Matteo’s (Aras Aydin) parents and siblings were killed by a “smart bomb” when he was a child. It’s later revealed that Imogen’s father, Victoria’s (Christine Baranski) late husband, was the creator of the technology used for the attack. Masha reveals during the finale that it was David’s company who took the technology and made it into a weapon, making him responsible for the deaths.

Matteo stays levelheaded throughout the episode, leaving the retreat with girlfriend Victoria. He and Imogen are also now friends.

Victoria

After learning that David’s company created the smart bomb/missile that killed Matteo’s parents, Victoria puts together her own pieces. She realizes that her late husband was “exploited” by David for his brilliance which led to his technology being used to murder innocents. That guilt ultimately resulted in her husband taking his life.

At season’s end, Victoria and her daughter, Imogen (Annie Murphy), are finally in a good place. Imogen promises to visit in a few weeks and Victoria, who is battling ALS, leaves with boyfriend and caretaker, Matteo.

Imogen

While Victoria tries to shield her daughter from the truth, it doesn’t take long for her to connect the dots. Imogen punches David square in the face, blaming him for her father’s suicide.

While Imogen doesn’t like David, she is still fond of his son, Peter (Henry Golding), whom she slept with earlier in the retreat. As Imogen and Peter part ways, they share their feelings for one another and decide it’s not goodbye. (Even though they live on separate continents.)

Wolfie

Masha discovers that one of David’s charities, Signal Op, decided to pull scholarships to young musicians, one of which was Wolfie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), after a change in state tax law left them without a tax write-off.

“Everyone in the whole program had to drop out,” Wolfie says. David argues he has nothing to do with what charities they fund — and blames the system for Wolfie’s dreams being blown up.

When the experiment ends, Wolfie breaks up with Tina (King Princess) despite originally coming to the retreat to help her get over her fear of playing piano.

Tina

Technically David didn’t wrong Tina, but defunding Wolfie’s scholarship led to her girlfriend’s financial hardships. Tina was only part of the experience because of Wolfie.

Before leaving Zauberwald, Tina and Wolfie break up. Although she’s sad, Tina begins to play piano again, seemingly curing herself of the ailment she had upon arrival. Tina and Masha also have a heart-to-heart about her journey and how talented she is as a performer in a surprisingly sweet moment.

Peter

Peter came on the retreat to bond with his father, whom he claims abandoned him and never made time to be present amid his globe-trotting, empire-building life. While the pair do have a few highs, Peter agrees with the rest of the group that David needs to dismantle his weapons’ work. Peter also calls his dad a narcissist and claims he’s pretending to feel remorse.

Peter leaves the retreat at odds with his dad — but in the same car. He is in an even better place with Imogen. Peter promises to send his family’s private jet to get her from New York anytime she wants to visit him in London.

Martin

Even though Martin goes off the deep end while on a bad trip and shoots Masha, the two make amends before seasons’ end. Masha gives Martin the retreat, which was his birthright, and tells him she believes he can run it without her.

David

While getting grilled by the retreaters, David claims he loves his son, Peter, “with all my heart,” and tells everyone he will do better. However, once Masha wakes up following the shooting he tells her wants to rethink working together — and the idea of stopping his weapons division.

Masha lets him leave the retreat but then leaks a video recording of him promising to stop making bombs to the media. One month later, David makes good on the promise and gets out of weapon production.

He later reveals his net worth has gone down $1 billion but he still wants to be involved with Masha’s journey of psychedelics. Masha declines his offer, but he threatens to blackmail her with videos from the retreat that show her negligence. In response, she agrees to go into business with him, and they kiss.

Masha

After getting shot, Masha sees her late daughter, Tatiana (Emílie Páclová), and realizes she has to let her go to finally move forward. Tatiana says, “Goodbye mommy,” and Masha wakes up at the retreat. The next morning, Masha accepts Martin’s apology for shooting her.

She then releases a video of David so he has to stop making bombs and finally take accountability for his actions. The following month, Masha agrees to meet David at a McDonalds — a nod to their one-night stand in Prague — and he blackmails her into working with him.

Masha teases that he’ll be “stuck” with her now, especially because they are “family.” She reluctantly agrees to the deal and playfully says, “I do,” before kissing David.
