Kristin Cavallari Shares Fun BTS Clips of Daughter Saylor Designing Jewelry

17 April 2025 at 08:15

Kristin Cavallari and her daughter Saylor had the perfect day together designing jewelry.

Cavallari, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 16, to share moments of her daughter Saylor, 9, whom she shares with ex Jay Cutler, picking out pieces to include in their children’s jewelry collection, part of the actress’ line, Uncommon James. (Cavallari and Cutler, 57, are also the parents of sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 10.)

In the clip, the Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County alum looked over Saylor’s shoulder as she carefully examined each necklace. Cavallari then stepped into the frame and showed her little one more options. Next, the camera cut to a shot of Saylor deciding on a colorful beaded style. The duo also picked out charm bracelets, shell necklaces, palm tree pendants, flamingo studs and more.

“How it feels designing jewelry with your mom,” Cavallari captioned the post, as Hoku’s 2001 hit, “Perfect Day” played in the background.

Elsewhere on social media, Cavallari shared a selfie of her and Saylor in the studio. As they worked on their collection, Cavallari rocked a knit high-neck crop top, which she paired with khaki shorts. Saylor, for her part, looked pretty in a smocked dress complete with yellow floral details. The mother-daughter duo twinned with gold chain necklaces.

“It’s a big day for my angel baby!! Saylor has her first jewelry collection out today with @uncommonjames,” Cavallari captioned the selfie. “A beachy vibe with seashells, colorful beads, flamingos, plus a lot more. It was so sweet having this experience with my girl, and I’m so proud of her 💗💗.”

While Cavallari doesn’t post many pics of her kids, this isn’t the first sweet moment she’s shared with Saylor. In October 2023, she shared pictures of them twinning in devil costumes via Instagram while going trick-or-treating on Halloween.

For the spooky holiday, Cavallari dressed in a red, long-sleeved top, which she paired with devil ears, a matching voluminous tutu and knee-high black leather boots. Saylor looked even more festive than her mom in a glitter-flecked skirt, shimmery leggings, a cherry red cape and black-and-scarlet devil horns.

Charity Reacts to Report That Rory McIlroy Donated His Masters Winnings

17 April 2025 at 08:11

After a rumor circulated that Rory McIlroy had donated his earnings from winning the Masters Tournament to an Irish charity, the organization cleared things up.

Mencap, a charity based in Northern Ireland that supports individuals with learning disabilities, issued a statement on Wednesday, April 16.

“We would like to clarify that reports stating [McIlroy] donated winnings from a recent tournament to Mencap are not accurate,” Grainne Close, Director of Mencap Northern Ireland, said via X

The charity noted that McIlroy, 35, has donated to them in the past, helping to build a children’s center in Belfast a few years ago.

“We remain deeply grateful for his generosity and commitment to our cause and would like to congratulate him on his recent wins,” the charity added.

McIlroy is from Holywood, Ireland, a town just outside of Belfast.

The golfer earned $4.2 million for his Masters victory on Sunday, April 13, which saw McIlroy defeat Justin Rose on the first sudden-death playoff hole.

According to the PGA Tour’s website, Rose, 44, won $2.268 million for his runner-up finish.

Patrick Reed and Scottie Scheffler, who finished in third and fourth place, respectively, each collected over $1 million.

McIlroy’s elusive Masters victory earned him the career grand slam, becoming just the 6th golfer in history to win the Masters, U.S. Open, PGA Championship and Open Championship.

After hoisting the trophy on the 18th green at Augusta National, McIlroy called it “the best day of my golfing life.”

Scottie Scheffler Responds to Rory McIlroy Masters Snub Accusations

“This is my 17th time here, and I [had] started to wonder if it would ever be my time,” McIlroy told reporters. “What came out of me on the last green there in the playoff was at least 11 years, if not 14 years, of pent-up emotion. I got the job done.”

In an interview in the clubhouse with CBS’ Amanda Balionis after the win, McIlroy gave credit to his “incredible support system the whole way throughout my life.”

“As an only child, the support that I had from my parents — they saw some potential in me as a golfer and they gave me every opportunity to try to fulfill that potential,” McIlroy continued. “Talking to them on the phone after I won, my mom probably still hasn’t stopped crying.”

David Beckham Celebrates Victoria’s 51st Birthday With Throwback Pics

17 April 2025 at 07:51

David Beckham couldn’t miss the chance to publicly celebrate his wife Victoria Beckham’s birthday.

“Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife, mummy and best friend that we could all wish for,” David, 49, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, April 16. “Have the most perfect day because you deserve to, and we love you so much.”

David also shared a carousel of throwback images of the couple, including shots of him and Victoria making out in a pool, cuddling on vacation and hanging out with their four children. David also uploaded a pair of rare photos of Victoria during childhood, where she sported a blue sweatsuit with pigtails and, separately, a nightgown while posing with a birthday cake.

“I love you so much ❤❤❤❤,” Victoria replied on Thursday, April 17.

Victoria Beckham Celebrates David’s 49th Birthday With Loving Tribute

David and Victoria have been married since 1999 and share sons Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, as well as daughter Harper, 13.

“I love you so much, mum,” Cruz gushed via Instagram comment on Thursday. “From day 1, you have showed us unconditional love and haven’t stopped since ❤.”

David, meanwhile, shared more birthday tributes to the fashion designer on his Instagram Story.

“Happy birthday, Mummy,” David gushed, sharing more throwback family photos. “We all love you sooooo much. Happy Birthday, Posh. The look 😍.”

In a separate Instagram Story upload, David referred to Victoria as a “special mommy.”

David and Victoria Beckham Had ‘Each Other’ During ‘Difficult Times’

“Love you,” he captioned a pajama pic of his wife. “Can’t tell if she is angry, moody or just flirting with me.”

David and Victoria are one of Hollywood’s enduring couples, recently chronicling their love story in 2024’s Beckham docuseries.

“Do we look like the couple seen in the Netflix documentary? Yes,” Victoria told Elle Spain in April 2024. “We like to have fun, chat, dance, drink and laugh at each other. We create moments for ourselves.”

She added at the time, “Sorry to disappoint you, but we are a normal couple: we have dinner and go to bed early. At 20, we never went clubbing, and at 50, that hasn’t changed!”

In an Us Weekly cover story that month, a source further offered insight into David and Victoria’s connection.

“They don’t brush things under the rug. They talk things out until they come to a resolution,” the insider exclusively told Us. “Neither one of them shies away from bringing up issues. It’s obvious to everybody in their inner circle that they love each other more than anything.”

Ben Affleck Calls Ex-Wife Jennifer Lopez ‘Spectacular’ 1 Year After Split

17 April 2025 at 07:51

Ben Affleck has nothing but praise for ex-wife Jennifer Lopez while walking the red carpet at The Account 2 premiere.

“It’s a great night. The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,” Affleck, 52, told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, April 16. “I’m proud of the movie, I love the movie and I love when all the kids come out. It’s really fun. It’s exciting.”

After the outlet pointed out that it’s “really dope” Affleck has been “continuing those relationships,” Affleck replied, “Listen, I don’t read the stuff online much, and sometimes I get the sense that people perpetuate this idea of, I don’t know, they wanna find something negative to talk about.”

“For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” he continued. “I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.”

How Ben Affleck Really Feels About J. Lo, Jennifer Garner and Dating Again

Affleck gushed that he’s “thrilled” both his and Lopez’s kids are with him. (Affleck is dad to Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Lopez, for her part, shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.)

“The relationships that you can have with children like that, it’s the joy of my life,” Affleck said. “And those kids are amazing, and I’m glad that this is a movie they want to come to.”

After the outlet noted that Affleck is “a really good dad,” he replied, “I try my best. I certainly do.”

Affleck’s comments come one year after his marriage to Lopez, 55, ended. While Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024 on their second wedding anniversary, their date of separation was listed as April 2024. The pair’s divorce was finalized in January.

What Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Have Said About Each Other Post-Split

Affleck’s comments come after he opened up for the first time about the ending of his relationship with Lopez in GQ’s April cover story. Affleck told the outlet that there’s “no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue,” regarding their breakup, adding, “There is no, ‘This is what happened.’ It’s just a story about people trying to figure out their lives and relationships in ways that we all sort of normally do.”

Moving forward, Affleck doesn’t want to rush into another relationship, a source exclusively shared in Us Weekly’s latest cover story.

“He and J.Lo moved so fast,” the insider said. “In the future, he’ll be more cautious. He’s much more centered and reflective now.”

A separate source shared that Affleck is “really happy” and “in a good headspace,” adding, “He’s embracing this next chapter.”

Tom Schwartz Jokes He Would ‘Still Be a Virgin If It Wasn’t for Alcohol’

17 April 2025 at 07:34

Tom Schwartz has been curious about the idea of sobriety, but he isn’t ready to give up on alcohol yet — especially when it comes to his sex life.

During the Thursday, April 17, episode of Jax Taylor renamed “In the Mind of Jax Taylor” podcast, Schwartz, 42, weighed in on the recent mocktail craze, saying, “Especially with the younger generation. It’s very sober positive on TikTok but I still see people out there having fun.”

Taylor, 45, and Schwartz agreed it was a “great time to be sober.”

“It’s the best of both worlds. Back in the day, it was almost stigmatized to not drink,” Schwartz recalled. “Like you’re a dork if you don’t drink. But there are positives.”

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast’s Dating History

Schwartz went on to joke, “I would still be a virgin if it wasn’t for alcohol.”

The candid commentary has become a regular thing on Taylor’s podcast. After leaving his and estranged wife Brittany Cartwright‘s “When Reality Hits” podcast, Taylor started his own venture shortly after revealing his past struggles with addiction.

“I’ve been in and out of using cocaine for awhile. I wouldn’t use it every single day. There would be months I would take off,” he explained to Us Weekly in a March cover story. “And then I would do it like a week here, maybe two times a month or three times a month. It got really bad though. When the divorce started [with my estranged wife Brittany Cartwright], I felt like I was doing it recreationally.”

Taylor highlighted his commitment to working on himself. “I had all these other issues because I’m masking loneliness,” he said. “I’m masking the texting women by doing drugs and drinking alcohol. I have all these other issues. So it’s a slow process, which is hard for me because I always look for the quick fix. This is one of those things in life that it’s not a quick fix. You have to work at it. I’m not used to that.”

He concluded: “This is not gonna work that way. That’s not how addiction, sickness and mental health works. People are like, ‘Jax, you’ve done a lot of freaking damage. Like a lot. And this is just not going to go away anymore. People have had enough.’”

Taylor’s work has included staying consistent on his podcast, which has included some surprising stories about his personal life. Taylor recently revealed that he has “faked orgasms” in the past.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast: Then and Now

“We would be having sex and I know it’s not going to happen. So I’ll stop it early and be like, ‘You know what? I really, really like you. I don’t think we should do this right now,'” he admitted earlier this month. “So it takes the pressure off me. And then they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s so sweet.'”

Taylor stood by the method, adding, “I would rather her tell her friends that, ‘He was so sweet that he wanted to wait.’ Rather than, ‘He can’t cum when he’s with me.’ That’s a little more embarrassing.”

One month prior, Taylor referred to himself as a “very late bloomer,” sharing on his podcast, “No and I grew up in a very conservative neighborhood. I don’t even think I had the sex talk with my dad. Sex wasn’t really a big thing then. I didn’t lose my virginity until I was 19.”

Katie Thurston Has ‘Moments’ She Feels Like She’s Dying Amid Cancer Battle

17 April 2025 at 07:27

Katie Thurston has “moments” when she feels like she’s dying amid her battle with stage 4 breast cancer.

“I think that comes from reading from other people’s experiences. Just like others, there’s just a lot of unknown. People just aren’t experienced with cancer,” Thurston, 34, said during a Thursday, April 17, appearance on “Uncomfortable Conversations” with host Emmanuel Acho. “You usually hear stage 4, you hear that it’s spread to the liver, and I think automatically people think you have a short time to live.”

Thurston explained “that might be very much true” for certain people.

“For me, I’m trying to be very optimistic and feel that’s not the case for me. Not once has my doctor made it sound like that’s the case for me,” she continued. “The medication and the route that we’re going has been very positive for people.”

Thurston announced in February that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

“I will say, I cried in a way that I’ve never heard myself cry. It was just devastated,” Katie recalled during Thursday’s interview. “Beyond anything I’ve ever felt before. Probably the worst feeling of my life, if I’m being honest.”

The following month, she was finalizing treatment plans while moving to New York City with now-husband Jeff Arcuri. (Us Weekly broke the news of their wedding in March.) Multiple spots were subsequently found on Thurston’s liver. She confirmed in March that the spots were cancerous, which put a pause on her chemotherapy plans.

Thurston told followers earlier this month that her first line of treatment going forward will be a combination of “Letrozole + Kisqali + Zoladex.” Her April 10 social media post explained that this was a “custom plan” based on her specific disease — but chemotherapy was not completely off the table.

“They measure it in five-year increments,” Thurston explained during Thursday’s interview. “It’s a weird thing to say but I feel like at least I got five years. Truly, I’d like to think I have 20 or more, given medical advancements and stuff.”

Katie Thurston Details How Cancer Battle Affects Intimacy With Jeff Arcuri

Thurston’s honest answer came after Acho, 34, asked: “Do you feel like you’re dying?” He also asked the former Bachelorette star if she’s grieving “the life you dreamt of living” following her diagnosis.

“I don’t know. I’m still processing, I think,” Thurston replied. “It is a weird reflection of 2020, getting on reality TV and working at a bank and how simple my life almost seemed — even though it was very chaotic. Everything I have experienced, I guess, prepared me for this moment.”

Thurston explained that she’s gone through “a lot of hard stuff in life” and being diagnosed with cancer is “just another battle” for her.

“I f***ing win battles,” she added. “I fight so hard, and this will be the hardest battle of my life, for sure, but I’ve never thought I wouldn’t get through it. I’ve never thought that I would not see the other side. So that’s what I’m hoping to do.”

CNN Reporter Claims Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood Have New Project Coming

17 April 2025 at 07:27

It appears that Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood might be teaming up again after filming The White Lotus season 3.

CNN journalist Elizabeth Wagmeister claimed on the Thursday, April 17, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast that she heard rumblings that Goggins, 53, and Wood, 31, might have another joint project in the works.

“I was told this off the record, but there is something professionally that they are doing in the coming weeks together,” Wagmeister teased. “So, if there really is a feud, this has not stopped them. It’s not like they can’t be in the same room — is my point.”

According to the Emmy-nominated reporter who’s previously covered entertainment for Variety before joining CNN in 2023, “there is something on the books.”

White Lotus' Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood's Sweetest Friendship Moments

“Also, work is work,” Wagmeister said to podcast host Nick Viall. “If you have to do something for work, look, they’re about to go into a giant Emmy campaign. Like, every person is going to be nominated. They’re going to have to be in the same room. … I have no idea if there’s a feud or not. It could be all nonsense. Who knows?”

Goggins and Wood, who have not publicly addressed speculation of a post-White Lotus project, played a couple, Rick and Chelsea,  on the latest season of the hit HBO anthology. As season 3 premiered earlier this year, fans wondered if the two actors were at odds after costar Jason Isaacs alleged that some “friendships that were lost” during production.

“Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost,” Isaacs, 61, told Vulture in March, without mentioning specific individuals by name. “All the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights.”

He added, “They say in the show, ‘What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand.’ But there’s an off-screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama.”

When pressed if he wanted to elaborate, Isaacs declined with a laugh.

“Absolutely not,” Isaacs stated. “I became very close to some people and less close to others, but we still all had that experience together and there’s a certain level of discretion required.”

Neither Goggins nor Wood has addressed whether they are at odds, though eagle-eyed fans have claimed that they are not following one another on Instagram. The actors have, however, been grateful for their experience as scene partners.

“Thank you, Aimee Lou, for being my partner,” Goggins gushed via Instagram earlier this month. “A journey I will never forget.”

7 Best Action Movies on Amazon Prime Video Right Now (April 2025)

17 April 2025 at 07:00

Spring isn’t usually the time for action movies, but nobody told Amazon Prime Video that. The streamer boasts an impressive lineup of films in the genre, and is the primary destination for movie fans who like to see things go boom.

This April, Prime Video’s movie library includes an underrated Liam Neeson movie, a great 2024 film starring Dev Patel and a cult classic directed by John Carpenter.

Need more recommendations? Then check out the Best New Movies on Netflix, (HBO) Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime and More, the Best Movies on Amazon Prime Video Right Now, the Best Rom-Com Movies on Netflix Right Now and the 4 Underrated Movies on Netflix in April 2025.

Any reputable action movie list has to have a Liam Neeson film, and fortunately, In the Land of Saints and Sinners is one of the actor’s best. Neeson stars as Finbar Murphy, a veteran contract killer who is looking to quit. His retirement is on hold when he discovers that a young girl in his Irish village is being sexually abused by her uncle. He kills him, but that man belonged to the IRA and one of its leaders, Doireanne (Kerry Condon), doesn’t like it when someone kills one of her boys.

In the Land of Saints and Sinners could’ve been a cheesy Assassins knockoff, but because it’s set during the Troubles, the film has a more serious tone than its action movie brethren. Finbar loathes what he’s done for a living, and Neeson expertly conveys the man’s disgust with himself and others like him.

After seeing his village burned down and his mother killed by corrupt police chief Rana (Sikandar Kher), Kid (Jatin Malik as Young Kid, Dev Patel as the older version) vows revenge. Years later, Kid works as an underground fighter to get closer to Rana, but after his failed assassination attempt, he’ll have to ally himself with the criminal underworld to avenge his mother and stop Rana for good.

Although Monkey Mans plot is your stock revenge tale, the film’s visual style and on-location shooting in Indonesia sets it apart from the others. The movie embraces vibrant color and loud, thumping beats, and Patel, who also cowrote and directed the film, is an unexpectedly effective action hero.

Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a forensic accountant for criminals who uncovers suspected theft by examining their financial records. When he’s hired by Lamar and Rita Blackburn (John Lithgow and Jean Smart) to investigate potential fraud in their robotics company, he soon encounters various hitmen trying to prevent him from finding the culprit. Fortunately for Christian, and to the detriment of everyone else, this accountant also knows his way around a gun and will find the truth no matter what.

Released in 2016, The Accountant was a big enough hit to warrant a long-delayed sequel in 2025. Affleck is good as the autistic Christian, who doesn’t want to use violence unless it’s absolutely necessary. Anna Kendrick shows up as a peppy fellow accountant unaware of Christian’s extracurricular activities, and Lithgow is appropriately shady as the CEO who knows more than he’s letting on.

Kate Carter (Daisy Edgar-Jones) is a meteorologist who used to chase tornadoes before a traumatic incident forced her to quit. Five years later, she’s persuaded by her friend Javi (Anthony Ramos) to do what she does best: cover dangerous storm systems and potentially save lives. But this time, she’ll have to team up with charismatic YouTuber Tyler Owens (Glen Powell) to overcome her past trauma and somehow make it out alive.

Twisters is a quasi-sequel to 1996’s Twister (none of the original actors make an appearance), but it has the same qualities that made that movie so appealing: two charismatic lead actors, a straightforward narrative and realistic special effects. The movie is good old-fashioned summer blockbuster fun, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else.

Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) is a veteran Hollywood stuntman desperate for work. When his ex-girlfriend, film director Gail Meyer (Emily Blunt), hires him for her new action movie, Colt thinks his fortunes have improved. But when the film’s lead star, Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), mysteriously disappears, it’s up to Colt to find out what happened to him to save Gail’s movie — and maybe rekindle their romance.

Based on a 1980s TV series few people remember, The Fall Guy is a breezy, lightweight action-comedy that is like Romancing the Stone but with a little more violence. Gosling and Blunt have indelible chemistry together, and the stunts are legitimately impressive. It’s the rare movie that will please both rom-com fans and action movie bros alike.

Before there was Alan Ritchson in Reacher, there was Tom Cruise in the two Jack Reacher movies. Those films were modest hits, but because the 5 '7 Cruise wasn’t as tall or big as the book version of the character, they were dismissed by some as not worthy. But Cruise excels at action, and he’s really good in the Jack Reacher sequel, Never Go Back

When Major Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders) is charged with the murder of two Army soldiers, Reacher believes she’s innocent and the victim of a cover-up. When Reacher is himself framed for the murder of Turner’s lawyer, he teams up with her to escape prison and find whoever is behind the conspiracy.

Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) is a truck driver who stumbles into a kidnapping plot involving his best buddy Wang Chi’s (Dennis Dun) fiancee Miao Yin (Suzee Pai). Both men must save her from Lo Pan (James Hong), an ancient Chinese sorcerer who must sacrifice a green-eyed girl — Miao — to break an ancient curse. Jack isn’t going to let that happen, but how can a regular guy like him stand up to an eternal mystic with supernatural powers?

One of the best action-comedies around, Big Trouble in Little China is tremendous fun and a testament to Russell as an Everyman movie star. Directed by John Carpenter, the cult movie is filled with fights, car crashes and people blasting energy beams from their hands. It’s also very funny, and its overall silliness is irresistibly endearing.

Chris Meloni Alludes to Being ‘Always Open’ for Benson and Stabler Romance

17 April 2025 at 07:00

Chris Meloni might be ready for an Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler romance — but it’s not his call to make.

“I’m always open to opening that can of worms,” Meloni, 64, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting Law & Order: Organized Crime season 5, hinting at a possible relationship between Benson and Stabler. “It’s powers that are above me.”

The show’s two-episode premiere airing on Thursday, April 17, includes “a lot of trauma for one guy,” Meloni joked to Us, referring to his battle-tested NYPD character, Stabler.

“It has echoes of unresolved issues from his days as an SVU detective,” Meloni continued. “He’s in — I wouldn’t say fragile — but an emotional state that’s rather jagged.”

Bensler! SVU’s Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler’s Relationship Timeline

In the episode, Stabler, who brings back his undercover alias Hank, attempts to bust a trucking company that’s smuggling drugs — and trafficking women. Things go awry when he gets a soft spot for a parentless young girl named Bunny, who goes missing. When attempting to rescue the young girl, Stabler’s truck gets rammed by an 18-wheeler, causing her death.

The detective is briefly in a coma after receiving a traumatic brain injury (TBI) diagnosis, which leads to some pretty wild dream sequences — one of which features Mariska Hargitay as Benson, disappearing from his bedside.

Upon waking, Stabler admits to his mother (Ellen Burstyn) that he’s been having bad dreams about “things I’ve lost.” When Meloni was asked about this moment — and the obvious allusion to Benson and Stabler — the actor played coy.

“That’s a whole giant can of worms that I haven’t even found the giant can opener to open,” he quipped.

Hargitay, 61, made several appearances in the episode to visit her longtime friend and former partner in the hospital. (Hargitay and Meloni shared the screen on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit from 1999 to 2011.)

While the duo had their share of special on-camera moments, Benson also had quite the face-to-face meeting with Stabler’s brother, Randall (Dean Norris), who became a series regular for the show’s fifth season.

Does Mariska Hargitay Think SVU's Benson and Stabler Are ‘Endgame’?

Their rather hilarious scene featured Randall hitting on Benson “over my dying body,” Meloni joked.

“Don’t forget about Randall. That little thing they threw in there,” Norris, 62, reminded Us. “All of a sudden everyone started thinking, ‘Oh, we can make that happen.’”

The onscreen brothers — who’ve been friends for 20 years in real life — also teased that, all possible romances aside, their “very dysfunctional” family dynamic will be explored throughout season 5.

“I think that brotherly love grows a bit,” Norris said. Meloni added, “I agree with that.”

'Ginny & Georgia' Teases Mother-Daughter Division in 1st Look at Season 3

17 April 2025 at 07:00

Ginny & Georgia is back after a two-year wait, and the first look at season 3 shows the mother-daughter duo at odds.

Netflix released a sneak peek on Thursday, April 17, where Ginny (Antonia Gentry) deals with the aftermath of Georgia‘s (Brianne Howey) arrest.

“What happens when everything falls apart?” Ginny asks in a voiceover while her mother is seen behind bars. “The rug can be pulled out from you in a second.”

Georgia, however, doesn’t appear too worried about her fate. “Don’t you want to ask me if I did it?” she wonders in the video before another clip shows her saying, “I am not a bad person, it is all about perception.”

Spring TV Preview 2025: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

According to a message alongside the teaser, viewers should “prepare for judgment day” as Ginny, Georgia and those around them pick up the pieces after season 2 ended in chaos.

Ginny & Georgia, which premiered in 2021, follows a young single mother who moved her family to Wellsbury, Massachusetts, after running away from her past. In addition to Howey, 35, and Gentry, 27, the Netflix series also stars Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter and Raymond Ablack.

The newest batch of episodes are set to air on June 5 after a lengthy hiatus. When season 2 wrapped up in 2023, Georgia and her brother Austin finally found out about their mother’s murderous past. By the finale, Georgia was arrested on her and Paul’s (Porter) wedding day for the murder of fellow Wellsbury resident Cynthia’s husband. Georgia previously killed Cynthia’s terminally ill husband after learning Cynthia blocked Austin’s dad Gil’s application to move to Wellsbury.

“We see entirely new sides of Ginny and Georgia,” Howey exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “I feel like [it’s] surprising ’cause we’ve already seen so many sides of them, but lo and behold, there’s more.”

One month later, Howey expanded on what is to come, telling Us, “All of the characters are now, as we see, on their own mental health journey, and it’s a really important part of the show. Georgia, for the first time in her life, is realizing the catastrophic consequences of her actions that they have on her children.”

Howey was excited for Georgia to continue to evolve. “As season 2 starts, Georgia has been so exposed — all of their private family secrets are now out in the open — and you can only imagine the domino effect of what this does to everyone in Georgia’s life, including Georgia,” she added.

Every TV Spinoff to (Hopefully) Look Forward to in 2025

The one constant will always be Georgia and Ginny’s bond.

“I think what we love so much about Ginny and Georgia is their love for each other. What Georgia is out there showing is that there’s no wrong way to love your child — it might look different on everybody, but there’s no wrong way to love your child,” Howey continued. “Georgia, even with her limited toolbox — and she, of course, doesn’t get it all right — but she is trying so hard. I think that’s what really matters.”

Season 3 is premiering after Howey became a mother off screen. (Howey and husband Matt Ziering welcomed a daughter in 2023.)

“Having my own daughter going through these scenes … meant so much more in a new way,” she noted. “The more personal you make the work, the more universal it becomes, and the writing, the story, the nuance, it’s so personal to everybody involved and it seems to be making waves. No matter what walk of life you come from, there seems to be a character that you feel like you can really relate to and that you want to go on this journey with them.”

Kendra Wilkinson Explains Why She 'Threw Away' Her Weight Loss Drugs

17 April 2025 at 06:45

Kendra Wilkinson revealed why she is no longer taking weight loss drugs.

“A lot of you ask why I threw away the shots,” Wilkinson, 39, wrote via Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 16. “I’m actually OK with a little weight gain. Happier in life now at days.”

Wilkinson also had concerns after hearing other people’s experiences, adding, “Heard too many horror stories around me. People end up in ER. Surgeries. No Thanks.”

Wilkinson previously called out online critics regarding her appearance in January, writing via Instagram, “For those of you hating on my new weight [and] 40 yr old face, please know that I’m happy, healthy and at peace in life finally.”

Wilkinson went on to thank those who were supporting her. “Embracing life a little differently now a days….I’ve had my fair share of hardships and setbacks these last years but I’ve learned how to rise above and let life flow,” she added at the time.

In a follow-up post, Wilkinson noted that gaining weight was and is not “a failure,” writing, “I do enough every day to keep myself standing upright, healthy, mentally healthy and smiling. Overcoming challenges just shape us into new people and I’m willing to live and learn and grow through it all while staying focused and motivated.”

Wilkinson, who shares son Hank IV, 15, and daughter Alijah, 10, with ex Hank Baskett, subsequently told Us Weekly that she’s “been working really hard” on herself over the past year.

“I see a lot of ageism [and] a lot of body-shaming, and it’s not right. We’re human. People are getting mad at women for aging [or] gaining a pound,” she exclusively told Us in February. “It’s unfortunate we have to feel [like] we have to be 25 [years old] and a size zero forever. I’m unapologetically me at all times, and I have the confidence to rise above it and to be comfortable in my own skin. This is about embracing life now.”

Kendra Wilkinson Through the Years: From Playboy Playmate to Full-Time Mom

Wilkinson noted that she has had highs and lows, adding, “Before that, I [was] struggling with life through divorce, depression and mental health. I’ve been through absolute hell — my 30s were a mess — and [I] thank God I hit that rock bottom because the only way to go is up. I finally did the proper work to get to that point of confidence.”

She continued: “Before, I was self-sabotaging and living in regret and shame, so even though I was skinny and fit, [that] doesn’t mean I was necessarily happy. Now that I’ve gained a couple of pounds, I feel confident. I feel great about myself. This is the first time in a long time I want to prance around in a bathing suit with everybody watching.”

Justin Bieber's Ups and Downs Through the Years

Justin Bieber has faced his fair share of hardships since skyrocketing to fame after being discovered by Scooter Braun in 2007.

Upon breaking onto the scene with his debut album, My World 2.0, the two-time Grammy winner was beloved by the world over for his boyish charm, famous hair “swoop” and age-appropriate love songs.

However, in the years that followed, Bieber’s partying ways became the subject of much scrutiny and worry — from his fans, parents and Braun himself.

“I was worried every night that I was going to lose him. I thought he was going to die,” Braun shared on “The Red Pill” podcast in 2018. “I thought he was going to sleep one night and that he would have so much crap in his system that he would not wake up the next morning.”

Bieber’s romantic life also made frequent headlines — namely, his high-profile romances with Selena Gomez and future wife Hailey Bieber.

Shooting to Fame

Braun discovered Justin on YouTube when the singer was just a young teen in the early 2000s. The “Baby” singer released his debut album, My World 2.0, in 2010 following his My World EP. The record ultimately went 4x platinum.

N-Word Scandal

In 2014, Justin dealt with two racism scandals in one week. In the videos shared online, one clip showed the singer telling a racist joke five years prior, while the other piece of footage featured a young Justin singing a racist parody of his song “One Less Lonely Girl.” The parody replaced “girl” with the N-word and made references to the KKK.

“I’m very sorry,” Justin said in a statement to the Associated Press at the time. “I take all my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable behavior.”

He added: “I thought it was ok to repeat hurtful words and jokes, but I didn’t realize at the time that it wasn’t funny and that in fact my actions were continuing the ignorance. Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologized for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologize again to all of those who I have offended.”

Justin Bieber's Histories With Ex Selena and Wife Hailey: A Timeline

Substance Abuse Issues

In his 2020 documentary, Justin Bieber: Seasons, the Canada native got real about his struggles with substance abuse.

“My security and stuff would come into my room at night to check my pulse. People don’t know how serious it got. It was legit crazy scary,” he recalled. “I was waking up in the morning and the first thing I was doing was popping pills and smoking a blunt and starting my day. It just got scary. I basically said to myself, I’m like, ‘God, if you’re real, you get me through this season of stopping these pills and stuff, and if you do, I’ll do the rest of the work.'”

Mama Drama

Justin and his mom, Pattie Mallette — who was just a teen when she gave birth to her only son in March 1994 — were always extremely close. However, their relationship soured as Justin struggled with drugs.

“I was distant because I was ashamed,” he later reflected to Billboard in 2015 about his relationship with his mom. “We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her.”

Selena Gomez Relationship

Justin and Gomez went public with their romance at the 2011 Vanity Fair Oscars party, breaking up for the first time one year later. As the duo continued to be on and off over the next several years — with both stars dating other A-listers in their “off” periods — they ultimately called it quits for good in 2018, several months before Justin proposed to Hailey.

Hailey Bieber Marriage

The future couple initially met in 2008 after being introduced by Hailey’s dad, actor Stephen Baldwin. While Justin and Hailey became friends — and on and off romantic partners — in the years following, the “What Do You Mean?” artist got real about not wanting to hurt the model while he focused on himself.

“What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged,” Justin told GQ in 2016. “It’s really hard to fix wounds like that. It’s so hard. … I just don’t want to hurt her.”

Two years later — after his final split from Gomez — Justin and Hailey tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony in New York City. In 2019, they threw a larger ceremony attended by their families and friends.

Health Problems

Justin got real about his battle with Lyme disease in 2020.

“While a lot of people kept saying Justin Bieber looks like s—t, on meth etc. they failed to realize I’ve been recently diagnosed with Lyme disease, not only that but had a serious case of chronic mono which affected my, skin, brain function, energy, and overall health,” he wrote via Instagram at the time.

Two years later, Justin canceled his tour dates amid another health scare — this time: Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

“It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” Justin said in an Instagram video at the time, showing his followers that he couldn’t move half of his face. “As you can see this eye is not blinking. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move.”

As for his canceled concert dates, “I’m just physically not capable of doing them,” Justin noted. “This is pretty serious as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case. But obviously, my body is telling me I need to slow down.”

Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber’s Health Struggles Through the Years

Dropping Scooter as His Manager

In August 2023, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Justin “officially let Scooter go as his manager” amid reports that Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande also parted ways with the music executive.

The insider added that it was Hailey who “led the charge that led Justin to leave him for another manager.”

A separate insider, however, told Us one day prior that “all of Scooter Braun’s clients are under contract and negotiations have been going on for several months as Scooter steps into his larger role as Hybe America CEO.” The source elaborated: “People are spreading rumors based on what they know, but they are off. Scooter’s team at SB Projects are still handling both Justin and Ariana as they work through what this new structure looks like.”

A New Chapter

Justin kicked off his fatherhood era with wife Hailey in August 2024, welcoming son Jack Blues.

The Ongoing Speculation

Rumors started swirling in January 2025 that Justin had unfollowed Hailey on Instagram, sparking speculation about the status of their marriage. Justin was quick to set the record straight, claiming “someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife.”

Fans continued to express concern for the singer, and his reps spoke out claiming that any rumors about Justin using drugs were “absolutely not true.” They slammed “exhausting and pitiful” speculation noting that “despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.”

Debunking Debt Rumors

The Hollywood Reporter posted an article in April 2025 resurfacing the concerns about his mental health and claiming that Justin was millions of dollars in debt after the cancellation of his 2023 Justice World Tour.

“This is just clickbait stupidity based on unnamed — and clearly ill-informed — ‘sources,’ disappointed that they no longer work with Justin,” his team shared in a statement to Us. “As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue. But they won’t deter him from staying committed to following the right path.”

Blake Lively Narrates Adorable Baby Penguin Moment in Docuseries Sneak Peek

17 April 2025 at 06:30

While Blake Lively narrates National Geographic’s new docuseries, Secrets of the Penguins, it’s the baby penguins that really steal the show.

Lively, 37, lends her voice to the three-part docuseries about unique penguin behaviors and traits caught on camera across the globe. In Us Weekly’s exclusive sneak peek at the show, which premieres on Sunday, April 20, Lively takes viewers through an interaction between two emperor penguins and their adorable chicks.

“Scientists believe it’s possible that, at just two weeks old, the chicks are already being encouraged to make friends,” she says over footage of one baby penguin squealing at another to come out of their mom’s brood pouch. “Their mothers bring them face to face, perhaps so they can learn to communicate the emperor way.”

After one of the chicks shakes their head, the other one mimics their actions, something Lively notes adult emperor penguins also do.

The clip goes on to show dozens more penguin mothers gathered to socialize with their babies. “It’s a mommy and me class, and the empress has brought her daughter,” Lively states. “She’s a little shy, but mom knows how important this will be.”

Just as Lively says, the clip ends with the little one coming out of their mother’s pouch to join the fun.

Lively’s narration of the motherly interaction makes for a sweet moment, and the actress is a mother herself. She shares four kids with her husband, Ryan Reynolds: daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, and Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2.

The Gossip Girl alum shared her excitement for the docuseries via Instagram. “This Earth Month dive into the incredible & SECRET Lives of the Penguins with breathtaking cinematography by @bertiegregory along with the thoughtful work that went into this production by so many @natgeo @natgeoanimals @jamescameronofficial,” she wrote alongside the show’s trailer on March 12.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' Relationship Timeline

She continued, “It was a dream and honor to narrate this series and to learn about these fascinating penguins’ joys, challenges, loves and devotion to their families. It was beautiful to see how well we humans can relate to creatures seemingly so different than us ♥.”

The docuseries — produced in part by director James Cameron — marks Lively’s most recent project ahead of the May 1 release of her new Prime Video movie, Another Simple Favor. A sequel to 2018’s A Simple Favor, the sequel picks up with Anna Kendrick’s Stephanie Smothers after Lively’s Emily Nelson ended up in jail for the murder of her father and twin sister. Now released, Emily surprises her frenemy by asking her to be the maid of honor at her lavish Italian wedding. Just as she took Emily down in the first film, Stephanie quickly suspects there’s more to the wedding trip than meets the eye.

Lively, who was recently named to the 2025 TIME 100 list, has also been wrapped up in legal drama with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni since December 2024. While Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign against her, Baldoni has refuted her claims and alleged that she attempted to take over creative control of the film, among many other claims from the two. Both sides and their legal teams have vehemently denied the other’s allegations, and a trial date is set for March 2026.

Secrets of the Penguins premieres on National Geographic Sunday, April 20, at 8 p.m. ET. All three episodes will be available to stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu. Disney Channel will celebrate Earth Day by airing the first episode on Tuesday, April 22, at 8 p.m. ET.

Michelle Obama's Brother Thought Her Relationship With Barack Wouldn't Last

17 April 2025 at 06:19

Michelle Obama’s brother, Craig Robinson, didn’t believe she and Barack Obama would become the power couple they are.

The former first lady, 61, and Robinson, 62, recalled their dating histories on the Wednesday, April 16, episode of their “IMO” podcast. Robinson revealed that he used to test out his sister’s romantic interests by taking them to play basketball.

“What my dad [Fraser C. Robinson III] would say is, ‘You can really tell a person’s character by how they play pick-up basketball,’” he explained. “And the reason is, you can see how hard a person works. You can see if they’re the type of person who talks trash.”

Craig recalled his initial reaction to Michelle beginning her relationship with Barack, 63, in 1989, sharing, “We don’t know who this guy is. [We’re] just like, ‘Barack, who’s got a name like Barack?’ And I’m thinking to myself, ‘It’s going to last about a month,’ like most of your relationships did.”

Michelle Obama Says She 'Had to Stop' After 2 Kids — But Barack Wanted 3

Craig added that their late mother, Marian Robinson, was happy that Barack was “tall,” adding, “I said to myself, ‘Well, it’s too bad it’s not going to last.’”

Craig noted he wasn’t planning to play basketball with Barack until Michelle urged him to. “At first I said, ‘No way. I am not doing your dirty work for you. If he turns out to be a bad dude, I am not going to be the one to say [it],’” he shared. “And you said, ‘Come on, please.’ And I finally acquiesced. And so, we went and obviously, we had a great time playing.”

Aside from learning that his now-brother-in-law was “tremendously left-handed, so he couldn’t go right at all,” Craig said the most important thing he learned was that Barack was a “team player.” He said, “[Barack] fit in with the people. And so, I was able to report back to you, ‘Everything was fine,’ and the rest is history.”

Michelle and Barack tied the knot in 1992. They went on to welcome daughters Malia and Sasha in 1998 and 2001, respectively, before Barack was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States in 2009. He served two terms, leaving the White House in 2017.

Earlier this month, Michelle addressed speculation that she and Barack are heading toward divorce after more than 30 years of marriage. “That’s the thing that we as women struggle with — disappointing people,” she shared during the April 8 episode of Sophia Bush’s “Work in Progress” podcast. “I mean, so much so that this year people were, they couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself, that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”

She went on to note that if actions don’t “fit into the stereotype of what people think we should do,” they will be “labeled as something negative and horrible.”

Barack previously proved that their relationship is stronger than ever by sharing a sweet birthday tribute for his wife via X. “Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama,” he wrote alongside a snap of them enjoying a dinner date on January 17. “You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace – and you look good doing it. I’m so lucky to be able to take on life’s adventures with you. Love you!”

Nancy Travis Takes Us Back Through Her Career: 'Last Man Standing' and More

17 April 2025 at 06:00

At the start of her career, Nancy Travis felt she was “more known” for jobs that got away than ones she scored.

“I came so close to many jobs only to lose them in the 11th hour,” Travis, 63, recalled in the newest issue of Us Weekly about her early acting days. “There were always reasons and excuses — and I always just tried to not let it define me in any way. I knew that rejection came with the territory and I always tended to look at it as the person who rejected me [it was] their lack of clarity or judgment rather than my own.”

Travis noted that she doesn’t look back asking what if, telling Us, “I don’t have regrets about the things that I’ve chosen to do because I have enjoyed each project in its own way.” In fact, Travis had enjoyed looking at her career as a “continuous journey” with certain choices paving the way for long-lasting success.

“Every job is a new beginning. It is not like I’m winding down and ready to retire,” she shared. “I don’t ever think I am going to be that person. I will be delivering some Shakespearean monologue and I collapse on the stage. That’s my fantasy of how it all ends.”

'Last Man Standing' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Over the years, Travis found some of her most notable hits on the big screen with Three Men and a Baby and So I Married an Axe Murderer. But there’s also a plethora of TV roles that stayed with Us — like Almost Perfect and Last Man Standing. Travis even made a debut on Broadway in 1985’s I’m Not Rappaport but now she’s excited for opportunities such as playing Patty on NBC’s Grosse Pointe Garden Society.

“I don’t think I’ve ever played a part like this,” she told Us about her character, who is trying to stay on top in a small town. “I am eating it up. I’ve had a career of being the woman who is eye candy for the man, basically. This is a woman on a mission.”

Keep scrolling to see how Travis takes Us back through her career:

Commercial Work (1987)

Travis credits past commercials for being a “launching pad” in her career. “They were very lucrative,” she recalled about filming herself eating Hostess cupcakes, wearing Levi’s jeans and more. “I don’t think I’ve had one of the Hostess cupcakes — or anything like that — since then.”

The ads ultimately became a “trendsetter” for its time. “They really wanted real people as they looked in their lives,” Travis shared. “For somebody like me who has this crazy curly hair that is untamable, it was a door that opened for me.”

‘Three Men and a Baby’ (1987)

Starring opposite Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson in the biggest American box-office hit of 1987 is still what Travis gets recognized for the most. “At this rate, we’re going to be Three Men and a Lady at the Retirement Home,” Travis, who reunited with Danson on his sitcom Becker in 2002, joked. “It’s interesting that the longer you’re in this business, the smaller your world becomes.”

Celebrities Who Became BFFs With Their Costars

‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ (1993)

Mike Myers’ black comedy holds a special place for Travis, whose now-husband Robert N. Fried produced the film. “We were together before that and it was just a charmed experience. We only worked together one other time on the 2007 short Sally,” she recalled. “It was a charmed experience to be in San Francisco, which was magical.”

‘Almost Perfect’ (1995 to 1996)

After becoming a household name, Almost Perfect allowed Travis to lead her own series. “It was a lot of fun at a time when sitcoms were really flourishing,” she says about playing a fictional executive producer of a cop show.

The underappreciated sitcom took a hit when Travis’ onscreen love interest Kevin Kilner was written off, she noted, “It definitely changed the dynamic of the show. If you pull out a piece, it doesn’t hold the same form and the same shape. It has to almost be completely redesigned.”

‘Last Man Standing’ (2011 to 2021)

Nancy Travis Takes Us Back Through Iconic Career From Three Men and a Baby to Last Man Standing

While balancing an offer for Last Man Standing and a chance to guest star on Hart of Dixie, Travis chose the full-time gig playing Tim Allen‘s TV wife, which she called “a hard decision” at the time.

“We have a great rapport, a nice, relaxed thing,” she said. While Last Man Standing weathered several recastings and network changes, Travis and Allen’s dynamic kept Us coming back for more.

Travis recently reunited with Allen on his new ABC sitcom Shifting Gears, which is staffed by many of the same crew members as Last Man Standing and Home Improvement. “It was a family reunion,” she recalled. “It’s like everybody meeting back in the sandbox.”

Actors Who Worked Together Again and Again

‘Ride’ (2023)

Hallmark’s attempt at a Western drama series — shot on a working cattle ranch — didn’t last long, but it felt like a manifestation for Travis. “I love to shop for houses in my imagination. I was fantasizing about having a ranch, maybe 50 dogs and a couple horses. And the next week, I got a call for this job,” she said. “I had to learn how to ride a horse. I really love nature, so any time I get to be in it, I take advantage of that.”

‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ (2025)

“I read Grosse Pointe Garden Society and was so taken with the writing. I think it’s masterful,” Travis told Us. “I’m excited for people to discover what happens because it’s not anything that you think judging by the first episode.”

She continued: “What I love about Patty is that even though people may find her disagreeable or distasteful, she is at heart a dedicated mother and she cares about her son more than anything. She will do whatever it takes to make sure that he is OK and he is happy.”

This Dermatologist-Developed Serum Stops Postpartum Hair Loss In Its Tracks

17 April 2025 at 06:00

Postpartum is a joyous time for mothers; your baby is finally here! But it also comes with its own set of challenges that new moms have to face. From adjusting to the lack of sleep and your new body, we get it; it’s hard. Not to mention the pesky hair loss and shedding sneaks up on you…thanks, hormones!

As a mother, I know the struggle of trying to stop postpartum hair loss — it feels like nothing works. That’s why KilgourMD developed this bundle to get strands back on track.

The KilgourMD Bundle is an expert-backed formula that addresses hair loss and constant shedding. Here’s how it works: It features the Prevention Scalp Serum and Treatment Scalp Serum, which provide a dual-action system for your hair. The Prevention Scalp Serum acts as a protective barrier for your follicles to prevent strands from falling out. It includes a proprietary blend of four advanced technologies: Procapil, Capixyl, Anagain and RootBioTec to heal weak follicles and rejuvenate the scalp. Meanwhile, vitamin C defends hair follicles against UV damage and photo-aging.

The next step is the Treatment Scalp Serum, which “works to stimulate and stretch the follicles, activating the growth of thicker, glossier hair,” according to the brand. This step features Redensy, a plant-based compound that improves hair growth by stimulating the follicle stem cells and boosting scalp circulation. There’s also KilgourMD’s botanical blend of caffeine, rosemary, ginseng, turmeric, saw palmetto, amla, pumpkin seeds and pine bark, which help block all three causes of hair loss, including aging, hormonal and environmental factors.

Together, these serums reduce visible hair fall by up to 30% and stimulate hair follicle growth by 200%, according to recent studies conducted by KilgourMD. Plus, these formulas offer 2.5 times better recovery than Minoxidil, a popular ingredient found in other drug-filled treatments.

Here’s what real life moms praise about the formulas.

“As someone in my late 30s, I’ve struggled with noticeable thinning at my temples since giving birth,” a five-star reviewer said. “After experimenting with numerous products, I’ve finally found one that delivers real results. My hair feels stronger and fuller, and I’m thrilled!”

“After using this product for just two weeks, I am already seeing a significant decrease in my hair fall,” another reviewer said. “This product truly works wonders. As someone who has been skeptical of scalp care products in the past, I was relieved to discover that this product is developed by a dermatologist. If You Have to Watch 1 Amazon Prime Video Show in April 2025, Stream This 1 Now

17 April 2025 at 06:00

In the early 2000s, USA Network was known for its light and breezy shows like Monk, Royal Pains and Psych. But in 2002, USA debuted The Dead Zone, a show that didn’t really fit into the network’s mold.

The series was based upon Stephen King’s 1979 novel of the same name, which followed a man named Johnny Smith who emerged from a years-long coma with psychic visions that could be triggered by touch.

In 1983, The Dead Zone was adapted as a feature film with the great Christopher Walken in the lead as Johnny Smith.

That movie was arguably among the best King adaptations, but The Dead Zone TV series was also great in its own right. Instead of rehashing everything from the film, the show went in its own direction with a new take on Johnny and the people in his life.

All six seasons of The Dead Zone are currently available on Amazon, and it’s Watch With Us’ pick for the one Amazon Prime Video show that you have to watch in April.

Anthony Michael Hall Recalls Moment Molly Ringwald Revealed Her 'Big Crush'

Anthony Michael Hall Is Incredibly Compelling as Johnny Smith

Following in Christopher Walken’s shoes couldn’t have been easy for Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall, but he made the role of Johnny Smith his own. Hall was particularly great in the first season when the wounds of Johnny’s lost years were still readily apparent. He conveys Johnny’s hurt feelings, his anger and his despair while maintaining an innate willingness to use his visions to save people he doesn’t even know.

Johnny’s actions and his visions drive almost every major storyline in the show. Sometimes he’s a reluctant hero, but he always steps up because he has to. The overriding story of the series is about Johnny’s attempts to ward off a vision of Armageddon he receives from shaking the hand of Greg Stillson (Sean Patrick Flanery), a rising political star who may doom the world.

Johnny’s Visions Give the Show a Unique Hook

The challenge of depicting Johnny’s powers on-screen was to keep them visually interesting. Sometimes Johnny was thrust into someone else’s perspective and other times he viewed the events as an outside observer. There were usually visual and audio cues that Johnny was experiencing a vision, but occasionally the show left those out to catch viewers off guard.

It was refreshing that the series didn’t take very long for Johnny to convince people that his visions were real. Early in the show’s run, after Johnny’s vision about a hockey player’s potential heart problem is proven to be true, he experiences multiple visions as a crowd of strangers places their hands on him. Similarly, a later episode features Johnny and reporter Dana Bright (Kristen Dalton) in a potentially romantic scene that’s upended by his visions of their previous lovers in the same room with them.

The Supporting Cast Deliver Strong Performances

Johnny’s fate in the show is very different from his violent end in The Dead Zone novel and movie. An episode in season 2, “Zion,” demonstrated that one of the main reasons why Johnny’s destiny changed was because of his friendship with his physical therapist, Bruce Lewis (John L. Adams). Hall and Adams had a great rapport during the show’s first five seasons, and the latter was sorely missed when he wasn’t a series regular in season 6.

M*A*S*H’s David Ogden Stiers had a surprisingly nuanced role as Reverend Eugene “Gene” Purdy, a family friend whom Johnny initially suspected of killing his mother. The revelation of what actually happened to Johnny’s mom shaped his relationship with Gene throughout the series. The good reverend didn’t always make the right choices, but that just made him more interesting.

The show also went in an interesting direction by keeping Johnny’s former girlfriend, Sarah Bannerman (Nicole de Boer), in his life as one of his best friends, and by allowing Johnny to befriend Sarah’s husband, Sheriff Walt Bannerman (Chris Bruno), as well. Once Walt was shown that Johnny’s visions were real, he didn’t hesitate to use him as a resource when needed.

The Series Expands the Narrative of King’s Novel

Johnny’s life may have diverged from the path laid out by King, but it was still going down the same road. While the majority of the episodes were standalone stories, the long-term storytelling focused on Johnny’s attempts to stop Stillson from triggering the apocalypse short of murdering the man himself.

The Dead Zone also introduced the idea that psychic abilities ran in Johnny’s family, and his biological son with Sarah, J.J. Bannerman (Spencer Achtymichuk), would eventually inherit his gift. That notion came to fruition in the sixth and final season, when the role of Johnny Jr. was taken over by Connor Price.

Unfortunately, this is a story that doesn’t have an ending. The creative team behind The Dead Zone season 6 seemed a little too convinced that a season 7 order was assured. That meant a lot of dangling threads were left unresolved, including a big cliffhanger in the final episode.

But when a show is as good as The Dead Zone was, it’s worth overlooking that flaw to enjoy a series that ran for 80 episodes. This is a show that found new layers and depth in King’s creation, and it deserves to be remembered.

The Dead Zone is streaming on Prime Video.

Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow: From Perfect Couple to Just Good Friends

Since both of them now have a string of high-profile exes behind them, the three year on-off relationship between Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow at the tail end of the 20th century has been overshadowed by the many romantic dramas in their lives since. But, over the years, all sorts of interesting details have emerged about the cute but ultimately ill-fated romance between two of Hollywood’s most intriguing characters…

How it Began

Just weeks apart in age and both part of the same young, talented, late ‘90s Hollywood set, the pair were both 25 when they first met at a Miramax dinner in 1997 (and not at the premiere of Affleck’s breakthrough movie Good Will Hunting later that year, as has often been reported.)

At the time, Paltrow — then best known for her roles in Seven and Emma — was freshly single and ready to mingle after calling off her engagement to Brad Pitt a few months earlier, while Affleck was newly famous and had recently split from his summer camp sweetheart and girlfriend of seven years, Cheyenne Rothman (then an aspiring director herself, now a full-time mom who prefers being out of the spotlight.)

Soon, Paltrow and Affleck were going on double dates with another iconic but short-lived ‘90s couple, Winona Ryder and Matt Damon, and indulging in red carpet PDAs. Two gorgeous, talented, intelligent stars whose movie careers were going stratospheric at the same time — what could possibly go wrong?

How Long it Lasted

While on paper, these two were a great match, it seems they weren’t quite at the same life stage mentally, with Paltrow looking for something a little more settled than Affleck could offer at the time, as he revelled in his new VIP status on the wild Hollywood party scene.

Still, they were together for almost three years in total, but it was an on/off situation that eventually fizzled into a strong friendship when they finally split for good in 2000.

Their relationship was a very busy one, with the pair co-starring in two movies together — 1998’s huge hit Shakespeare In Love (yes, the one that Paltrow would go on to win the Best Actress Oscar for in 1999) and the more low-key romantic drama, Bounce (they were in more of an “off” phase while shooting it, though, and by the time it was released in 2000, they had split properly.)

How it Ended

By the time Bounce came out, they were over, after realizing they didn’t want quite the same things. “I can tell you unequivocally that Gwyneth and I are not going out,” Affleck told Entertainment Weekly in 2000 when asked about paparazzi photos of him hugging Paltrow in Paris. “We’re not a couple. We’re not an item. I do love her very much and I care about her enormously, as that picture indicates. But I hug a lot of people this way. Whether or not people believe that is up to them.”

(It’s official, Affleck is a hugger — we saw the same thing again recently when he was hanging out with one of his other very high-profile exes, former wife Jennifer Garner, at their son Samuel’s paintball party in March 2025.)

Ben Affleck’s Dating History Through the Years

Paltrow confirmed the split at the time, too. “If we’re in the same city, we go out,” she told Entertainment Weekly. ”We’re close. Sometimes when I’m in L.A., I stay in his house. But it’s not what people think it is. We are not together. I swear on my life. We’re not. It’s really art imitating life, only without the happy ending in our case. But we have another kind of happy ending, which is that we have a friendship. I love his family, even more than I love him. So that’s a good thing.”

Even during the relationship there were signs that they weren’t quite on the same page — but they were at least funny about it. When they appeared on Good Morning America together in 1999 while dating, Affleck said that Paltrow’s ideal man would be someone like her dad, and Paltrow hit back that Affleck’s perfect woman would be “any sort of stripper at Scores, anyone that serves cold beer in a bikini.” Of course, we all know that Paltrow is more the type to serve kombucha in crisp white denim.

Despite their differences, they admirably got through the break-up in good spirits too. During a Saturday Night Live appearance to promote Bounce, Affleck popped up during a scripted skit with Paltrow. “We just broke up a month ago,” he reminded her. “Didn’t you read about it? It was in all the papers!”

What They Said About Each Other

While they were together, Paltrow was openly gushing about her man. “He’s the most intelligent man I’ve met under 45,” she told the Los Angeles Times in 1999. “He’s a brilliant actor. He has a huge range and impeccable timing and real depth. I think it’s great that it’s coming out slowly, bit by bit.”

In 2000, around the time they finally split, she was also extremely complimentary about her on/off love in an interview with the New York Times. “Ben is affable and charming and people are sort of drawn to him,” she said. “He’s disarmingly quick, fiercely intelligent and, in some ways, an underachiever. Ben had a difficult childhood, but not a nightmarish one. He loves both his parents dearly. Though Ben had almost perfect SAT scores in high school, his grades varied wildly depending on his attendance and level of interest. There’s a huge chasm between the public and the private Bens. In quiet moments, Jocular Ben transforms into Contemplative Ben. He’s not vulnerable right away; it takes ages to get to that part of him. I like him in all his incarnations.”

Ben Affleck Through the Years: Teen Movies, Oscar Wins and More

It wasn’t just Paltrow doing all the talking — while Affleck wasn’t quite as effusive (who is?!), he often praised Paltrow for helping him professionally. “One of the things that Gwyneth taught me is to maintain a level of work where interesting people that you like want to work with you,” he said in the same interview, to promote Shakespeare In Love. “And you do that by doing things you think are interesting, not by playing into some expectation.”

What They Say Now

Since the split, the pair have been probed about their relationship from time to time and both have been happy to talk about it, with their feelings of friendship seemingly getting warmer and warmer over the years as they moved on with new partners (actor Luke Wilson was Paltrow’s next, relatively brief, relationship. She then married Chris Martin in 2003 and had two children together — daughter Apple, born in 2004 and son Moses, born in 2006 — before “consciously uncoupling” in 2014 and going on to marry current husband Brad Falchuk in 2018. Affleck, meanwhile, was with Jennifer Lopez from 2002 to 2004, before they called off their engagement, and then spent a decade married to Jennifer Garner and had three children — Violet, Fin and Samuel — before their split in 2015. He and Lopez then shocked the world by getting back together in 2021, but divorced after two years of marriage. He is currently single.)

In 2000, not long after their split, Paltrow talked about how she often tried to push Affleck to take on tougher roles. “I’ve always had this ongoing dialogue with Ben about doing stuff that required more of him,” she told Entertainment Weekly as the pair promoted Bounce. “When I see something like Armageddon and see him just not connecting, I get sort of like, ‘Yeah, you’re charming… but it’s not what you’re capable of.”

She added: “We didn’t have one of those horrible acrimonious break-ups. The good thing is that we maintained this friendship. I have a sort of brotherly feeling towards him. I want him to do well and grow up and be a happy person and a fully realised man and feel good about himself, so when I read the script I thought, ‘Ben has to do this film. It would be really good for him to have something where he has to really sink his teeth in and concentrate and expand.’ I mean, everyone thought, ‘Don’t do this. You’re making a real mistake. It’s going to be a drama.’ My father was like, ‘Oh, God!’ I don’t think he actually vocalised anything but I saw that look: ‘This is a mistake.’ But it couldn’t have been better. We’re so fond of each other and we have such a nice rapport between us. It wasn’t difficult at all. People just deal with things in different ways.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Compares Sex With Exes Ben Affleck and Brad Pitt

In 2002, a couple of years on from the split and after Affleck had received treatment for alcoholism and was first rumored to be dating his future ex-wife Lopez, he talked to the Daily Mirror about how his lack of maturity had led to the split. “Gwyneth is much more evolved spiritually than I am,” he said, hinting at the Goop-ification that would follow. “She does yoga and meditates, and I just don’t. She is much closer to inner peace and has a sense of calm, whereas I am much more frantic and I need to be active. I have a very difficult time sitting still. We are very different in that respect, but she is still one of my closest friends.”

In a 2003 interview with Diane Sawyer, Paltrow was a little more negative about Affleck. “Ben makes life tough for himself,” she said. “He’s got a lot of complication, and you know, he really is a great guy. So I hope he sorts himself out.”

Affleck responded in 2004 via Rolling Stone, saying “She’s probably right about that. I trust her opinion about most things. Not all, but most. I think I probably do get in my own way.”

In a 2015 interview with Howard Stern, Paltrow was more reflective and analytical about the relationship. “He was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend,” she said. “It’s interesting, I think there’s certain boyfriends where you are trying to work stuff out, right? Like, you’re trying to heal certain stuff from your childhood and he was very much a lesson in that way.”

She added that her parents were big fans of Affleck, but understood why they split. “I think [they] appreciated that he’s super intelligent, and really, really talented,” she said. “And he’s funny. They loved him but they were okay with us not being a couple. I like him. I’m friends with him still.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Through the Years

At the time, Affleck was married to Garner, and Paltrow said she was happy for them. “Not only is she beautiful, she’s so warm, and she cooks, and is so into her kids,” she said. “She’s really great and she’s hilarious. I had a girls’ dinner before the summer and she came over. She’s my neighbor. I really like her a lot.”

Since then, Paltrow and Affleck have always talked fondly about each other — in some cases, very fondly, when, on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2023, she was asked to compare him sexually with her other most A-list of exes, Pitt.

“Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind of, at the time and then Ben was, like, technically excellent,” she said. “I can’t believe my daughter is listening to this!” (Sure enough, Apple was in the studio too, with footage later shared of the teenager looking shocked with her hands over her ears!)

Paltrow added that Affleck was “a good kisser” and then referenced his brief marriage to Lopez which was in full swing at the time. “God bless J.Lo and everything she is getting over there!” she said with a laugh.

She added that Affleck was the funniest of her two big Hollywood exes (the other being Pitt, of course), but also the more argumentative.

Key Relationship Takeaways

These two were perfect peers, but not so perfect as a couple. But, despite Affleck’s apparent lack of maturity when it came to their relationship, they managed to deal with the breakup with the thoughtfulness and class they’re both known for — which is why they can now enjoy a solid friendship at 52 (but whether that makes Affleck the most intelligent man Paltrow has met over the age of 45 remains a mystery!)

Their friendship is definitely good news considering they just can’t seem to escape each other: while they’re no longer starring in the same Hollywood movies together, now their kids are rubbing shoulders instead: Affleck’s daughter Violet and Paltrow’s stepson Brody are both currently in their freshman year at Yale.

While Paltrow seems very settled with Falchuk, Affleck is, once again, single — but, knowing Paltrow, she’ll have a long list of gorgeous friends lined up for him. Well, it would be a shame for those “technically excellent” bedroom skills to go to waste, right?

Val Chmerkovskiy Expects 'Big Names' on 'DWTS' After Season 33 'Went Viral'

17 April 2025 at 05:30

Val Chmerkovskiy has very high expectations when it comes to potential celebrity contestants on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars after the show “went viral” on social media.

“When I think of a partner, I just want somebody that — after being on the show for 20 seasons now — I just want somebody that’s excited to be there,” Chmerkovskiy, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting his new Hulu show Got to Get Out. “I’ve seen a lot of really incredible people and I’ve worked with a lot of really talented dynamic people. But it is from that excitement that I’m really inspired and now you have me really going the distance for you.”

Chmerkovskiy noted that being an ideal dance partner isn’t about having the skills — it is about having the passion.

“If you’re an incredible dancer and you’re excited then that is even better. If you’re not a dancer but you’re really excited, that is great,” he continued. “I’m never prepared [to name my dream partner]. I always go like Beyoncé or Adele or Rihanna — some crazy names. But, after last season, who knows?”

Every 'Dancing With the Stars' Pro Through the Years: Where Are They Now?

The professional dancer wouldn’t be surprised if some major A-listers joined next season, adding, “I feel like season 33 really went viral. There were so many highlights. Dancing With the Stars was huge and it is growing in popularity, which is crazy to say after 20 years of being on air. But with its reestablished popularity, I think we’re going to get a lot of really big names and I’m excited for that.”

Chmerkovskiy was a consistent presence on DWTS over the years but it wasn’t until season 11 that he joined as a pro. Since then, Chmerkovskiy has been paired up with celebrities such as Zendaya, Rumer Willis, Laurie Hernandez, Normani, Olivia Jade, Gabby Windey, Xochitl Gomez and Phaedra Parks.

After three wins, Chmerkovskiy has learned that “nothing is set in stone” when it comes to potential victors.

'Dancing With the Stars' Winners Through the Years: Photos

Dancing With the Stars is a living and breathing project. So even pre-season there are potential favorites but as the season gets going, that premiere sets a certain tone with so many different variables along the way,” he explained before referencing the most recent winners: his wife Jenna Johnson and Joey Graziadei. “There were things that shifted last minute that some may analyze as like, ‘Oh man, well, there goes our chance.’ Even the fact that Jenn [Tran] joined the show last minute — that took some of the steam out of the whole Bachelor Nation supporting one person. Now that vote is split. So these little variables potentially can change the game and change your odds.”

Viewers won’t be surprised to learn that Chmerkovskiy took that winning attitude with him when filming Got to Get Out. The newest reality show, which is currently streaming, follows a mix of reality TV contestants and non-celebrities living together in a mansion for 10 days while they compete in physical and mental challenges for $1 million in prize money.

“I quickly realized that I am a rookie when it comes to reality TV shows,” Chmerkovskiy, who walked away as one of 16 winners, admitted about his initial days on the show. “I never have to form alliances on Dancing With the Stars. I don’t have to have crazy confrontations at the dinner table. I had experience with confrontation but not like this show. I was in over my head for the first three days. I was under the impression that I was going to get out quickly — whether I was going to get out and take the money or I was going to attempt an escape and get eliminated again.”

It didn’t take long for Chmerkovskiy to adapt, adding, “Why I’m successful on Dancing With the Stars is [because] I authentically connect with my partners. But for the first time, I wasn’t trying to build a genuine rapport and that was really hard for me. I found myself really struggling with lying. I just didn’t want to compromise who I am as a person for money.”

Spring TV Preview 2025: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

He continued: “I didn’t really compromise my moral compass. Maybe it made for boring TV. But I added a lot of excitement elsewhere. I was dancing with everybody all the time.”

Chmerkovskiy considered Got to Get Out a positive experience — even without the win.

“I’m very passionate about the process. I just did my best — whatever that best was. I also try not to put so much pressure on myself,” he recalled. “It takes a lot of self-discipline to not lose yourself. Maybe that’s where my experience came from since I’ve been on TV for 13 years on DWTS. I had a very cool, calm and collected type of approach to all of it.”

Got to Get Out is currently streaming on Hulu.
