Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton’s Girlfriend Celebrates With After Crazy Game 1

22 May 2025 at 08:46

After leading an unbelievable comeback in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton celebrated the moment with his girlfriend, Jade Jones.

Jones posted a video via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, May 21, showing the moment she and Haliburton, 25, embraced on the court in an empty Madison Square Garden shortly after the Pacers’ 138-135 overtime victory over the New York Knicks.

“My baby 💛,” Jones captioned the video, which captured her getting on her tiptoes to hug her 6’5” boyfriend.

Jones also posted a photo of the moment to her Story, writing, “I’m so proud of you ❤.”

Haliburton and Jones have been dating since 2019 after the couple met during their time at Iowa State University, where Haliburton was a star basketball player and Jones was a cheerleader.

Jones celebrated Haiburton’s birthday in February with a carousel of photos from their time together.

“Happy birthday to my best friend!!” Jones wrote via Instagram. “Words will never be able to fully express how special you truly are to me! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world ❤ I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to go on this adventure with! You’re my rock forever! I love you so much 🥳💝.”

As for the Pacers’ comeback win, Haliburton hit a buzzer beater at the end of regulation to force overtime, erasing a 14-point deficit with just over three minutes to play.

After his game-tying shot, Haliburton celebrated by mimicking a choke sign, a reference to former Pacers great Reggie Miller’s iconic celebration at Madison Square Garden during the 1995 NBA playoffs.

Haliburton performed the celebration as an homage to Miller, 59, who was sitting courtside calling the game for TNT.

“I wanted [Miller] to see it more than anything,” Haliburton told reporters after the game. “I think it’s just really cool to continue to make my own history and this group to make our own history while also showing respect and love to the ones that came before us. Definitely a special moment and something I won’t forget.”

Haliburton was quick to note that Miller’s Pacers didn’t win the series against the Knicks in 1995.

“Would not like to repeat that,” Haliburton said with a laugh.

Haliburton finished Game 1 with 31 points, 11 assists and four rebounds.

Mary-Kate Olsen Spotted on Ultra-Rare Public Outing: Inside Her Life Now

22 May 2025 at 08:37

The famously private Mary-Kate Olsen kicked off the summer season with an ultra-rare public outing in the Hamptons.

Olsen, 38, was spotted walking in the New York suburb on Tuesday, May 20, in photos obtained by Us Weekly. The actress-turned-designer dressed casually in a long black peacoat over wide-legged mauve trousers. She carried an armful of handbags and wore a pair of sunglasses to cover her eyes.

Mary-Kate and her twin sister, Ashley Olsen, have been household names since 1987 when they were both cast as baby Michelle Tanner on Full House. After eight seasons playing the pint-sized Tanner tyke, the Olsens launched their own direct-to-VHS empire and starred in a slew of beloved movies and TV shows, including Billboard Dad, Passport to Paris, Holiday in the Sun and So Little Time that made them a financial fortune.

As Mary-Kate and Ashley, also 38, grew up, they turned from entertainment to fashion, launching high-end, successful sartorial brands such as The Row and Elizabeth & James. While their careers continued to thrive, the twins kept much of their private life under wraps.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Through the Years

“We were raised to be discreet people,” Mary-Kate told i-D magazine in a rare joint interview published in June 2021.

At the time, Ashley also divulged why they often collaborate on professional projects.

“We like working together, and we like having that dialogue. I think it helps harden your ideas to be able to hear them out loud, to speak something through,” Ashley explained to the outlet. “You know, we definitely go by intuition and instinct and it can either confirm that feeling, or if we’re both not feeling right about something, for some reason, we just don’t do it. Our instincts are kind of the same. But I think what’s great is that we have each other to lean on.”

Save for rare outings like Tuesday’s stroll, fans haven’t heard much from either Mary-Kate or Ashley.

“Being in the spotlight as little kids really seems to have impacted how Mary-Kate and Ashley live their adult lives,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly for a July 2024 cover story.

A second source, meanwhile, told Us that Mary-Kate, in particular, sought solace after her 2020 divorce from Olivier Sarkozy. (The former child star and Sarkozy, 55, were married for nearly five years.)

“She felt hounded,” the second insider said at the time. “It was too much to handle.”

Now, Mary-Kate often spends her time in the Hamptons, Los Angeles and Europe, while Ashley is primarily based in New York with husband Louis Eisner and their son, Otto, who was born in 2023.

“They’re homebodies who would rather go over line sheets for The Row than be out on the town,” the first source added to Us. “And they’re extremely cautious of who they let in and what they divulge in public.”

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Are 'In Vacation Mode,' Caitlin Clark Says

22 May 2025 at 08:36

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark knows what it’s like to be constantly under the microscope, and she hopes Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are enjoying a break from all the scrutiny.

Though Swift and Kelce, both 35, have temporarily receded from the spotlight, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year hopes both can make it to a Fever game this season.

“I feel like they’re also living — they’re in vacation mode right now,” Clark, 23, told USA Today in a story published Wednesday, May 21.

“So I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight,” she added. “But I’m sure they’ll be cheering for the Fever either way.”

Caitlin Clark Got So Many ‘Eras Tour’ Bracelets Her Arm Went Numb

Clark struck up a friendship with Swift last year when she attended two of the “Cruel Summer” singer’s Eras Tour shows in Indianapolis. The Fever guard watched the concerts from Swift’s private suite at Lucas Oil Stadium alongside Kelce and Swift’s mom, Andrea.

After the shows, Swift gifted Clark some Eras Tour merch and left a note saying she was hoping to attend a Fever game. The singer also invited Clark to one of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games, which Clark took her up on during the 2024 NFL Playoffs.

Clark watched the Chiefs win the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium with Swift in a private suite as cameras caught the pair hugging and celebrating after Kelce scored a touchdown.

And as Clark revealed on a January 2025 episode of Travis and his brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast, her cheers were real.

Everyone Taylor Swift Sat With at Chiefs Games This Season

“I’m a midwest kid,” Clark explained. “I had family in Kansas City and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City, so that’s the closest NFL team. My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m a bandwagon Chiefs fan and I’m like, ‘No! I was there before! Before Patrick [Maholmes] and Travis. We were ride or dies.”

While Swift and Kelce are enjoying some time to themselves, the season is just ramping up for Clark and the Fever. With Clark as popular as ever, one of her new teammates, Sophie Cunningham, compared her to Swift in the offseason.

Cunningham, 28, joked in a February appearance on the “Sports and SHEnanigans” podcast that if Clark is the WNBA’s Swift, then she could be the league’s Sabrina Carpenter.

“It really was a joke,” she told Us Weekly in March. “I think that Taylor Swift has helped Sabrina Carpenter so much, and I think that Caitlin Clark has helped not only her teammates, but our whole league, our whole sport in general, not only here in America, but around the world.”

Why Kid Cudi's Dog Is a Point of Contention at Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Trial

22 May 2025 at 08:31

Rapper Kid Cudi is set to testify in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing trial — but not before the court questioned the relevance of his dog.

Judge Arun Subramanian briefly excused the jury on Thursday, May 22, to discuss Cudi’s testimony, according to The Washington Post. Cudi, now 41, was called to testify about Diddy, now 55, allegedly orchestrating a 2011 burglary at his house. (Cudi dated Cassie that year during one of her breakups from Diddy.)

Diddy’s lawyer Brian Steel wanted Cudi (real name Scott Mescudi) to omit any testimony that his pet dog was “traumatized” by the alleged ordeal. (Diddy hasn’t publicly addressed his reported involvement in the burglary.)

Steel said he didn’t want any “dog lovers on the jury” to be swayed by Cudi’s remarks.

Cassie Recalls Diddy's Alleged Threats to ‘Hurt’ Her and Boyfriend Kid Cudi

“‘The dog was never the same. The dog urinated on the floor.’ Why do we need that?” Steel asked.

Subramanian, meanwhile, stated that Cudi likely wouldn’t “testify about what the dog thought” before issuing a ruling on the matter. Per the judge, Cudi will be allowed to mention the immediate impact the incident had on his dog without mentioning any alleged “long-term consequences.”

Cudi’s dog has since died, with prosecutor Emily Johnson also agreeing to limit any dog-related questions to the “immediate aftermath” of the burglary.

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all allegations against him and pleaded not guilty.

Diddy's Alleged Plot to Firebomb Kid Cudi's Car Resurfaces in Court Docs

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly in a statement at the time. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal.”

Cassie, 38, took the stand in Diddy’s trial earlier this month, claiming that the disgraced music mogul threatened to blow up Cudi’s car when he found out about their romance. (Cassie shared the same claims in her 2023 lawsuit, which Diddy denied before they settled out of court the next day.)

Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) alleged that Diddy “was going to hurt Scott and I” when he found out about their romance through email correspondence. The “Me & U” singer said that she broke up with Cudi after receiving a number of alleged threats from Diddy.

“Too much danger, too much uncertainty of what could happen if we continued to see each other,” Cassie said.

Inside Kim Kardashian's Journey to Become a Lawyer

22 May 2025 at 08:21

Kim Kardashian, esquire? The reality TV personality has been open about her journey to become a lawyer after registering with the California State Bar to study law in 2018.

Kardashian spoke publicly about her plans for the first time in her April 2019 Vogue cover story, explaining she blocked out 18 hours of supervised study alongside lawyers Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney each week.

“First year of law school you have to cover three subjects: criminal law, torts, and contracts,” she told the magazine. “To me, torts is the most confusing, contracts the most boring, and crim law I can do in my sleep. Took my first test, I got a 100. Super easy for me. The reading is what really gets me. It’s so time-consuming. The concepts I grasp in two seconds.”

At the time, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s goal was to take the bar in 2022. However, she has to pass the First-Year Law Students’ Examination a.k.a. the “baby bar” before she can continue her education. During a May 2021 episode of her family’s former reality show, she revealed she failed the baby bar after her first attempt in the summer of 2020.

After multiple tries, Kardashian finally passed the baby bar while continuing on with her four-year apprenticeship program.

The Skims founder revealed that she secretly “registered with the California State Bar to study law” one year prior.
“I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case,” she wrote via social media at the time. “One person actually said I should ‘stay in my lane.’ I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. Everyone can take this route if you live in a state where this is allowed.”

After taking the baby bar for the third time, Kim told Kristen Bell and Monica Padman on their “We Are Supported By…” podcast that she would start to “question” herself if she failed again.
“I think I did well,” she said. “So if I don’t pass, I am going to be so f—king pissed, you have no idea.”

The KKW Beauty founder announced she passed the “baby bar” on her fourth try. “I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years,” she revealed via Instagram. “But I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!”
She added, “I did have COVID on the 3rd try w[ith] a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses 😉.”

Kardashian revealed she still has a lot of studying to do before she takes the official bar exam.
“I’m probably going to take the bar in February 2025,” Kim said at the 2023 Time100 Summit in New York City. “I think it’s like a 36 percent pass rate."

Us Weekly confirmed that Kardashian graduated from her apprenticeship, which her family celebrated with a surprise brunch.
“They are all excited and proud of her and wanted to surprise her to celebrate this accomplishment,” a source told Us. “Her law mentors are also surprising her, and she has no clue they will be there.”
According to the insider, Kardashian also passed the multistate professional responsibility exam, which is a 60-question multiple-choice test that is a prerequisite to the bar exam. Once she passes the bar, she will be allowed to practice law in California.
