Hailey Bieber Is Giving Herself a Year Before Making This "Big" Choice

After a long and messy battle, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo finalized their divorce in January — but she’s still not happy with their agreement.
“I don’t really talk about the divorce because [I’m] not sure how I want to roll it all out,” Lindsay, 39, explained on the Friday, April 4, episode of her and Van Lathan’s “Higher Learning” podcast.
She noted that when it comes to spousal support and child support there is “so much generalizing,” which causes issues.
“When it comes to spousal support, even child support — but I’m not gonna speak to that because I don’t have children — it is particular to the people that are involved,” Lindsay argued. “That goes for their circumstances, and it also goes to what state they reside in.”
Rachel Lindsay Reveals What ‘Bothered' Her 'Most’ in Bryan Abasolo Divorce
The former Bachelorette, who married Abasolo, 45, in August 2019, after falling in love on the show two years prior, confessed, “It’s just annoying to hear so many people have an opinion on my particular situation because they’re comparing it to somebody else who’s been subjected to alimony.”
Lindsay revealed, “I have an issue with people who take advantage of the system,” before claiming, “The reason I said my ex is not deserving of alimony is because we both made sacrifices in the marriage, and I shouldn’t be punished because I was successful during the time that we were married, and he wasn’t.”
She admitted, “I’m truly tired of the narrative of, ‘Well, he’s deserving of the money because he picked up and sacrificed his career for her.’ I’m just gonna say this, and I’m gonna say this once — not true.”
Lindsay claimed that Abasolo’s first move came when he relocated to Dallas after The Bachelorette, because he “quit his job as soon as he won the show” and she was still employed. (He was a chiropractor when they met and Lindsay was an attorney.)
She pointed out that she also relocated for him, when she moved to Miami, before she got a job in Los Angeles and they made a “we decision” to once again uproot their lives.
Rachel Lindsay Owes Ex-Husband Bryan Abasolo More Than $400,000: Docs
“Marriage, partnership, relationships are also about sacrifice and compromise,” Lindsay told her listeners. “Some people give a little here, some people give a little there. It’s a back and forth. It’s not all about one person.”
Us Weekly confirmed in January 2024 that Abasolo filed for divorce, listing their date of separation as December 31, 2023. Lindsay was ordered in July 2024 to pay Abasolo $13,257 a month in temporary spousal support plus $15,000 in attorney’s fees and $5,000 for forensic expert expenses, according to court documents obtained by Us.
In January court docs, Abasolo said he “waives, discharges and releases” Lindsay from “any and all” future payments. He also acknowledged that the exes will also be responsible for their own attorney fees going forward. (The judgement, however, revealed that she still owes him $460,229.)
Lindsay revealed on Friday that she was “willing to give money” to Abasolo, but it’s alimony a.k.a. spousal support that has remained an issue — since Abasolo can get a job but is allegedly choosing not to.
“Somebody who is fully capable of working, who is licensed in multiple states, who could go work for somebody or start their own business or could influence or could use the platform that was given them to leverage into other things should not be receiving spousal support,” she declared.
Lindsay clarified, “I’m not saying my ex didn’t deserve some sort of compensation. … What I don’t agree with is the taking advantage of just because you can.”
Rachel Lindsay Is Experiencing ‘A Fresh Start’ After Bryan Abasolo Divorce
She further alleged, “I was willing to split 50-50 even though I don’t think he’s deserving. He got that and said he couldn’t support himself. That’s where the system is broken.”
Lindsay said that her “sum is so big” because of the spousal support each month, not the 50-50 agreement they have in place.
“That’s where the greed comes in,” she continued, later explaining that she called Abasolo a “leech” in the past because he didn’t just ask for spousal support.
She recalled him “asking for my retirement, my stocks, my investments. Like every single thing, tax refunds. … It was ‘I want half of everything you have plus spousal support.’ Nothing in between. And that, to me, is wrong.”
Looking back, Lindsay said she thinks Abasolo’s “jealousy and resentment” toward her was the driving force for their divorce settlement.

Sorry to report, but The Last of Us season 2 is shorter than the first.
In June 2024 — almost a year before its premiere — creators Craig Mazin and Neil Druckman revealed that the HBO show’s second season would only be seven episodes long. The duo told Deadline at the time that each installment would be “quite big” in length, but does that make up for two fewer episodes?
“The story material that we got from Part II of the game is way more than the story material that was in the first game, so part of what we had to do from the start was figure out how to tell that story across seasons,” Mazin explained at the time. “When you do that, you look for natural breakpoints, and as we laid it out, this season, the national breakpoint felt like it came after seven episodes.”
He added: “One thing is absolutely for sure, I don’t see how we could tell the story that remains after season 2 is complete in one more season.”
How 'The Last of Us' Cast Compares to Their Video Game Counterparts: Photos
The cocreator and director has more recently spoken about the potential for the show to continue for a season 3 — and even a season 4.
“Neil and I really are focused on telling the story that’s there, and it will come to an end, whether it is in season 3 or season 4,” he told People late last month.
The Last of Us became a fan favorite quickly following its January 2023 premiere. In addition to those who played the PlayStation video game on which the show is based, the drama series has racked up a huge following. It also skyrocketed both Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, who play Joel and Ellie, respectively, to fame.
A Guide to TV Shows and Movies Based on Hit Video Games
The season 1 finale ended with Joel lying to Ellie about what happened when he took her to see the Fireflies in Salt Lake City. Ellie ends the season thinking that her immunity wasn’t needed after the group found a cure for the cordyceps infection ravaging their post-apocalyptic world. What actually happened is that Joel went on a murderous rampage after finding out the Fireflies planned to extract a cure from Ellie’s brain, which would have killed her.
The second season trailer hints at Joel dealing with the aftermath of his betrayal.
“You swore,” Ramsey’s Ellie says to Pascal’s Joel, teasing a rift between the pseudo father-daughter duo.
The Last of Us season 2 premieres on HBO Sunday, April 13, at 9 p.m. ET.

The big movie premiering this weekend is Minecraft, an adaptation of the hit video game starring Jack Black, Jason Momoa and Jennifer Coolidge.
While it’s expected to do well at the box office, Minecraft isn’t for everyone, so you may be looking for other options.
If you subscribe to HBO and Max, then this list is for you. What to Watch is recommending three movies to binge this weekend that will provide you with a decent hour or two of entertainment.
In the mood for a strange romance set in the Emerald Isle? Or how about an underappreciated action movie that’s similar to — and better than — Suicide Squad? If you’ve answered yes to any of those questions, then keep on reading.
COVID messed up a lot of people’s plans, and the film industry wasn’t immune to that disruption. As a result, the few movies that were released didn’t get the spotlight they deserved, and one of them was Wild Mountain Thyme, an unusual romance set in Ireland starring Emily Blunt and Jamie Dornan.
They star as childhood friends Rosemary and Anthony, who have lived next door to each other for nearly 30 years. Rosemary loves Anthony, but he doesn’t seem interested. In reality, Anthony loves her as much as she loves him, but he’s hiding a big secret that could get in the way of their happy ending.
Wild Mountain Thyme was written and directed by John Patrick Shanley, who made one of the best rom-coms of all time, Moonstruck. This one is weirder but no less enchanting, and Blunt and Dornan have great chemistry as the introverted lovers. Be warned: the ending is a bit strange, but that doesn’t invalidate the movie’s charms.
Wild Mountain Thyme is streaming on Max.
There was a time between 2004 and 2010 when Chris Evans would star in nothing but comic book adaptations. Now known primarily for his role as Captain America in the MCU, he also starred as Johnny Storm in the first big-budget Fantastic Four film, and as an evil ex-boyfriend in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. He was also part of The Losers, an action-comedy comic book adaptation that flopped in 2010 and has been pretty much forgotten about since.
Evans plays Jensen, a computer hacker who is part of a black-ops team known as the Losers. After a botched mission leaves them betrayed by their boss Max (Jason Patric) and stranded in Bolivia, the Losers are approached by a mysterious woman named Aisha (Zoe Saldaña) who offers them a way out of the country and an opportunity to get revenge on Max. But can the Losers trust someone who is not one of them, especially after they have just been nearly killed by Max?
The Losers isn’t great, but it’s a perfectly “mid” action movie that gets the job done without any fuss or pretension. Evans plays the comic relief instead of the hero, and he’s good at it. The rest of the cast, which includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Idris Elba, fire as many one-liners as they do bullets. They’re having fun, and you will, too.
The Losers is streaming on Max.
Laura Dern is one of the best actresses working right now, and while she won an Oscar for her supporting performance in Marriage Story, she deserved an award for her devastating work in The Tale. The film, a hit at Sundance in 2018 that debuted on HBO the very same year, didn’t get as much attention as it deserved, but it’s a drama that will haunt you in the best way possible.
Jennifer Fox (Dern) is a successful professor and documentarian whose life is upended when her mother discovers an essay she wrote when she was a teenager. The movie then slowly reveals the contents of that essay, which involve Jennifer’s time at a horse training camp when she was 13. As the adult Jennifer re-examines her uncomfortably close relationship with professional coach Bill (Jason Ritter) and his wife, Mrs. G (Elizabeth Debicki), she begins to realize she may have experienced sexual abuse under their care.
The Tale is streaming on Max.

Halle Berry is the master of the underwear-as-outerwear trend.
Berry, 58, showed off a super sexy ensemble while promoting her upcoming movie, Crime 101, at CinemaCon on Wednesday, April 2. At the soirée, she rocked a barely-there Alexander McQueen corset adorned with a floral lace design. She teamed the silky lingerie with a tailored blazer and a coordinating pencil skirt finished with a thigh-high slit.
Berry added the perfect amount of sparkle to her getup with crystal embellished heels by Aquazzura. She further accessorized with emerald and diamond rings.
For glam, Berry donned a full beat, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Jorge Monroy. Her glam featured dewy, youthful skin combined with bronzed cheeks and a touch of blush. She tied her makeup together with brown eyeshadow strategically swept underneath her waterline, long flirty lashes and nude glossy lips. Her hair was cut into wispy bangs and styled in loose, voluminous curls.

Following the event, Berry took to Instagram to show off her outfit, along with snaps of her posing on the red carpet with co-star Chris Hemsworth. She also posted a mirror selfie of herself posing without her blazer, teasing the perfect amount of skin.
Berry’s ageless look comes weeks after she opened up about taking testosterone, which helped her regain her energy.
“I’m not trying to grow hair on my chest,” she joked during a March episode of “The Tamsen Show” podcast. “However, after starting the treatment, I do [notice a difference.” Berry added, “My libido’s back. I have more energy.”
Styled by Lindsay Flores, Berry previously posed in a sheer ensemble at The Union premiere in August 2024, rocking a coordinating bodysuit and midi skirt.

Phoebe Gates is stepping more into the spotlight after releasing a podcast under Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.
Phoebe, who is the youngest daughter of Bill Gates and Melinda Gates, launched “The Burnouts” with friend and business partner Sophia Kianni in April 2025. The podcast centers around how Phoebe and Kianni are getting their startup, Phia, off the group after graduating from Stanford University.
“The point of this show is not really to be polished. It’s not a buttoned-up business plan,” Phoebe told People in April 2025, adding she gets “so nervous” before filming. “I’m like, ‘Should we even be saying this stuff?’”
The startup founder graduated in June 2024 from Stanford University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in human biology in only three years. Melinda was the guest speaker during the graduation ceremony.
“I knew I had to make it happen if I could, because I wanted to watch my mother deliver this year’s commencement speech as a graduate,” Phoebe shared with Nylon at the time. “I can’t think of a better ending!”
Phoebe Gates and Boyfriend Arthur Donald's Relationship Timeline
Phoebe noted to the outlet that she was “so grateful” to have her parents with her on her special day.
Keep scrolling to learn more about Bill and Melinda’s youngest daughter:
Phoebe graduated from Stanford in 2024 with a bachelor of science in human biology and a minor in African studies. Her mom delivered the commencement speech on her graduation day.
“It’s the end of one chapter, and beginning of another, and it was such a privilege to have this time with our family and friends to celebrate this,” Phoebe told Nylon in June 2024.
Phoebe first sparked dating rumors with McCartney’s grandson, Arthur Donald, in October 2023 after they went on a European vacation together.

“Paris on film ,” Phoebe wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of the couple on a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
Less than one year later, Phoebe confirmed her romance with Donald while celebrating her college graduation.
“My boyfriend, Arthur, giving me a lift post-ceremony,” she captioned a photo diary for Nylon in June 2024.
Phoebe and her former Stanford roommate, Kianni, are in the process of launching a new online fashion platform called Phia in 2025.
“Sophia and I are first-time founders, and learning as we go,” Phoebe told People in November 2024. “With Phia’s beta, we’re building with our customers, so we can deliver a product that ultimately makes them the smartest shoppers in the room.”
Paul McCartney’s Family Guide: Meet His Kids, Grandkids and More
Phia, which will be a free Chrome extension, will inform shoppers on the future value of the products they buy online and assist customers with finding great deals on resale sites if they’re looking to go secondhand.
Phoebe and friend/cofounder, Kianni, debuted their new podcast, “The Burnouts,” under Cooper’s Unwell Network. Throughout the podcast, Phoebe and Kianni will get candid about getting their startup, Phia, up and running as well as featuring advice from mentors, experts and surprise guests such as Kim Kardashian, who is featured on the first episode.
“Our dream listener is the girl who’s grinding, she’s moving up the ladder, she’s working hard, she’s falling down and getting back up,” Phoebe told People in April 2025. “And she’s listening in her AirPods on the way to work.”
Throughout the years, Phoebe has continued to be vocal about using her platform to support reproductive freedom. She has donated millions of dollars to abortion rights groups and even coproduced Everybody’s Fight: An In Bloom Series alongside Karlie Kloss, a series that looked at the impact of reproductive health restrictions.
“I think that choice is a fundamental freedom upon which all other freedoms are built,” she told People in October 2024. “Our generation of women is now less free than those before us. How could I ever accept that? I won’t and I know I’m in good company. … The way you use your voice and your privilege really, really matters.”

Kaia Gerber, often seen channeling her supermodel mother Cindy Crawford‘s iconic ’90s style by borrowing vintage pieces, put a fresh spin on a classic for a recent mother-daughter outing in New York City.
At the Thursday, April 3, opening of George Clooney’s Broadway debut in Good Night and Good Luck, Kaia, 23, was joined by Crawford, 59, and father Rande Gerber. She opted for a sleek little black dress from Givenchy, designed by the esteemed Sarah Burton.
The ankle-length number, with a simple square neckline and delicate black straps, echoed the classic fashion codes that defined Crawford’s reign on the runway in the ’90s. Kaia kept her accessories understated, choosing pointed-toe heels and a gold Omega watch, allowing the dress’s elegance to take center stage.
Crawford mirrored her daughter’s sophisticated choice, also donning an LBD, although hers featured more contemporary touches like a daring side slit and a single-shoulder cutout. Meanwhile, Rande, 62, also complemented the stylish duo in a traditional black suit and tie.
Kaia Gerber ‘Didn't Realize’ How Much of an Icon Mom Cindy Crawford Is
It wasn’t the first instance of the Gerber-Crawford family showcasing their sartorial harmony, particularly Kaia and Cindy, who frequently coordinate their red-carpet looks. Their shared sartorial sensibility favors clean lines and enduring shapes over overly embellished designs.
Kaia has also previously paid homage to her mother’s style, notably wearing a custom Hervé Léger gown inspired by Crawford’s 1993 Oscars dress, paired with her mother’s vintage jewelry, at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival.
Their similar sense of style extends beyond formal events, as seen during the opening of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games when Kaia and Cindy wore cohesive little black dresses, just like they did in 2023 while walking the red carpet before a cocktail reception at the Planet Omega exhibition.
Ditto for the Versace bondage-style LBDs with gold Medusa details that Kaia and Cindy wore 27 years apart almost to the date.
Kaia’s choice of Givenchy by Sarah Burton places her among the early adopters of the newly appointed designer’s vision for the French luxury label, alongside Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet.
Her collaboration with Burton was a natural fit. It further highlighted the enduring appeal of a minimalist aesthetic, which the supermodel mother-daughter duo continuously champions.
Their consistent mother-daughter fashion moments demonstrated a common understanding that the most impactful looks often lie in simplicity and timelessness. In other words, less is more.

When Sleigh Bells released their debut album, Treats, in 2010, even their most ardent fans might have had a hard time imagining a future beyond the distortion-drenched riffs of “Infinity Guitars.” The band was a moment, for sure, but in a world of ever-shortening attention spans, no wave ever lasts too long.
Sleigh Bells, however, is still going strong, having stayed true to their headphone-busting roots for 17 years now while avoiding the interpersonal drama that has plagued many a band before them. On their sixth album, Bunky Becky Birthday Boy, Alexis Krauss and Derek Miller sound better than ever — like the Sleigh Bells of Treats, but with a hard-won helping of friendship and experience.
“There’s a way to hold somebody accountable through blame and guilt and shame, and I really don’t think that exists in Derek and my relationship,” Krauss exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the album’s Friday, April 4, release. “It never really did, but especially now, it’s all coming from this well of mutual respect and admiration and trust. I think that’s really only something you can achieve after knowing somebody for a long time and going through a lot of ups and downs.”
Miller agreed, adding, “Any solid friendship or relationship in whatever context or circumstance, if it lasts long enough, s***’s gonna happen. S***’s gonna go down, and that’ll test your friendship. … The best friendships last. Your people are there for each other.”
Michelle Zauner Explores 'Sad' Side of Fame on New Japanese Breakfast Album
In 2008, Miller famously enlisted Krauss to sing for his new project after meeting her at a restaurant where he was waiting on her and her mom. She listened to his demos and soon agreed to be his vocalist, and Sleigh Bells was born. Rarely does a chance encounter lead to a band with this kind of longevity, a fact which even Miller and Krauss marvel at.
“It’s just surreal, it really is, when people say that number — 17 years. It certainly doesn’t feel like that,” Krauss said. “We don’t force ourselves to make albums, no one’s telling us we have to do it. We do it because we genuinely, genuinely are inspired by each other. And when we send music back and forth, we’re like, ‘F***, this is making us feel something strong and we should act on it.’ I feel like we both live pretty much in the present, and it just keeps happening.”
On the surface, Bunky Becky Birthday Boy may sound like a typical Sleigh Bells record — amps turned up to 11, floor-shaking beats, noisy guitars — it’s actually full of emotion. The title is an homage to Krauss’ late dog Riz, whose nickname was Bunky Becky, and her son, Wilder, a.k.a. the birthday boy. The songs follow the exploits of two characters, Bunky Becky and Roxette Ric, who roughly correspond to Krauss and Miller, respectively.
Sasami Explains Her Pivot to Pop on New Album 'Blood on the Silver Screen'
“Ultimately, it’s kind of a sappy and sentimental record. It tries not to be, and I’m not necessarily proud of that,” Miller explained with a laugh. “Cynicism is way cooler and detachment is way cooler, but that’s really not who either of us are.”
He points to album closer “Pulse Drips Quiet” as an example of what he means. It’s not a ballad, exactly, but it has an emotional maturity casual fans might be surprised to find in a Sleigh Bells song. (The chorus includes the lyrics, “It’s safe to hold your breath / You can count on that / I’ll be true till death.”)
“It’s the least playful song and it’s the most clear-eyed and, for lack of a better word, serious,” Miller told Us. “It’s like a moment when maybe you’re hanging with your best friend and some bad s*** happens. Maybe they walk out of a restaurant, get hit by a car and you’re sitting there making a tourniquet with your shirt, waiting for the ambulance to arrive, looking at them like, ‘I am going to be here for you. I got you. I’m going to get you through this.’”
This is not to say that the playfulness of the past isn’t still present in spades on the album. First single “Wanna Start a Band?” has the magic of classic Sleigh Bells stompers like “Crown on the Ground,” while “This Summer” is an exuberant ode to the warmest season (with a touch of the apocalypse for good measure). Krauss is particularly excited to debut “Wanna Start a Band?” in concert, because it sounds like “everything I want Sleigh Bells to be.”
All Things Go Music Festival Sets 2025 Dates, Expands to 3 Days
Fans of the old records needn’t worry, however, as the duo plan to include plenty of Treats tracks on the setlist for their upcoming tour. Sleigh Bells will celebrate the album’s 15th anniversary on May 24, just weeks after they hit the road in support of Bunky Becky Birthday Boy.
“I think there was a point in the band’s career where it was like you’re kind of trying to move away from that, and now it’s just, ‘I love that album,’” Krauss said. “I love how that album feels live and to be able to play so many songs from so many records and also just really, fully embrace Treats and the way that those songs connect with people. It’s a big part of the heart and soul of this tour.”
Now, those connections are being made with a new generation, as early Sleigh Bells fans bring their own children with them to shows — and the band loves to see it.
“It’s built this incredible fan base, to talk to people who have got into us at Treats and are still listening, or to people who have been like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m playing Treats for my kid right now, and they’re coming to a show,’” Krauss told Us. “You just get this kind of magic that can only occur with time.”
Bunky Becky Birthday Boy is out now. Their tour kicks off Wednesday, May 7, in Phoenix, Arizona. Get tickets and see the full list of dates here.

Michelle Williams’ latest project is inspired by a heartfelt and emotional true story.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 44, stars as Molly Kochan in the new Hulu series Dying for Sex, which premiered Friday, April 4. The show follows Kochan as she embarks on a journey of sexual rediscovery after receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, all while having her best friend, Nikki Boyer (Jenny Slate), by her side.
The series — cocreated by New Girl creator Elizabeth Meriwether and producer Kim Rosenstock — was based on Kochan and Boyer’s 2020 podcast of the same name, which documented Kochan’s love life and cancer journey leading up to her 2019 death.
“I was so moved by the podcast — it just absolutely hooked my heart, and I couldn’t ignore it. I was a puddle on the floor,” Williams shared in an interview with Women’s Health published on Friday. “I couldn’t really articulate why it had moved me so deeply. I listened to it again; a puddle on the floor again. There was a connection there that I needed to honor.”
Michelle Williams Through the Years: From ‘Dawson’s Creek’ to the Oscars
While the series is filled with steamy moments, Williams said she loves how the show puts Kochan and Boyer’s friendship front and center. “It’s talking about the passionate, dimensional love that exists in a best friendship, which I hadn’t really seen foregrounded before,” she told the outlet. “It’s always kind of in the service of one of them getting the guy. So I was excited to see something that I’ve had experience with in my personal life, in my relationship with my own best friend, be the central love story.”
Scroll down to learn the true story behind the new show Dying for Sex:
In a July 2017 post on her Everything Leads to This blog, Kochan shared that she asked her gynecologist about pain she was experiencing during sex and a small lump in her breast shortly after her 2005 engagement to her ex-husband, who is called Steve in the series and is played by Jay Duplass.
Though the doctor dismissed her concerns at the time, the lump had developed into breast cancer that spread to her lymph nodes by 2011. She proceeded to undergo chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy, among other treatments, and began a five-year hormone therapy program to prevent it from returning.
After getting a biopsy in 2015, Kochan received her terminal stage IV breast cancer diagnosis, as the cancer had spread to her brain, bones and liver.
Kochan and Boyer were friends for over 10 years by the time Kochan was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. The besties met when they were paired up during a Los Angeles acting class in 2000.
“She didn’t like me very much because I was annoying and probably vying for everyone’s attention,” Boyer joked in a March 29 interview with The Times. Had they not been paired up together during the class, Boyer said she doesn’t know “if Molly and I would have found each other’s friendship.”
Boyer told the outlet that she and Kochan shared the same doctor who initially dismissed Kochan’s cancer concerns in 2005. “My naive brain at the time [thought], he must know best, he’s a doctor,” she stated.
Busy Philipps Poses With Michelle Williams at 'Dying for Sex' Premiere
After getting her terminal diagnosis in 2015, Kochan decided to leave her struggling marriage and explore her sexuality, as her cancer treatment increased her libido.
“The truth is, without this diagnosis I probably would have stayed, continued to try to make things work. Because there is a lot of love there,” she wrote on her blog in March 2016. “But there is also a lot of stress. And a stressful environment is not a good one when battling cancer.”
Boyer joked to The Times that Kochan was “horny all the time” due to her hormone treatment and began sending lingerie selfies to men she met on dating apps as a form of distraction from her cancer. One of Kochan’s unique dates with a man referred to as “neighbor guy” (played by Rob Delaney) in the series involved a request for Kochan to kick him in the testicles.
“A lot of people think, ‘She’s just having sex, f***ing around to make herself feel good,’” Boyer said to The Times. “But it wasn’t just about that. There was healing of old wounds. Her whole life she felt fragmented and during sex she was allowed to make her own choices and put the pieces together for herself.”
Boyer added, “She made people feel seen and cared for. It was about a lot more than the sex for Molly. Towards the end I think she was looking for love.”
Upon realizing Kochan’s sexual escapades made for good entertainment, she and Boyer pitched her story as a TV show titled Dying for Sex. The project was rejected multiple times before they decided to create a podcast instead, which was picked up by Wondery in 2019 and released the following year.
Stars Who Beat Breast Cancer: Linda Evangelista, Cynthia Nixon and More
In addition to the podcast, Kochan also wrote a posthumous memoir, Screw Cancer: Becoming Whole, which was released in August 2020. “I really started this journey desperate to fall in love. Wanted to find my soulmate,” Kochan wrote in the book. “It was a romantic human idea I wanted to belong to.”
In the book’s foreword, Boyer said that her friend wrote “most of the book” from her “hospital bed, pouring her heart onto every page.” She added, “This book is what kept her alive, especially in her final weeks of life.”
Kochan died at age 45 in March 2019. “I woke with just enough time for her last two breaths,” Boyer told The Times. “I put my hand on her head and my other hand on her heart. I said, ‘I’m here, I’ve got you.’ I was in awe of her in that moment. It was one of the most magical things I’ve ever experienced. It was so intense and beautiful.”
A blog post titled “I Have Died” was published on Kochan’s website shortly after her death. She described her last days as being “great” and noted that she was surrounded “with the people who were meant to be there.”
Kochan wrote, “As I die, I still put pressure on myself. I get angry when I can’t sit up to type. There are projects I am hoping to finish before I go. But I have no control over any of that. The only thing I can work on is being without the guilt of not doing. Accepting that my days are what they were.”

Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson’s health “hasn’t been good,” according to his son Jase Robertson.
Jase, 55, spoke about his father’s declining condition on the Thursday, April 3, episode of the “Unashamed With the Robertson Family” podcast.
“Tell you the truth, it hasn’t been good,” he said. “I’m just giving the blunt truth. I’ll say, ‘Not good.’”
“We’re doing the best we can,” he added. “So I think that’s just what you do.”
'Duck Dynasty' Cast: Where Are They Now?
Phil, 78, and his family rose to fame on the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty, which aired from 2012 to 2017. In addition to Jase, Phil shares adult children Alan, 60, Willie, 52, and Jep, 46, with wife Kay Robertson.
The Duck Dynasty patriarch has battled a host of health problems over the years, including Alzheimer’s disease, a blood disease and fractured vertebrae in his back. The family confirmed in December 2024 that Phil is in the “early stages” of Alzheimer’s.
“According to the doctors, they’re sure that he has some sort of blood disease that’s causing all kinds of problems,” Jase explained on the podcast at the time. “It’s accelerated and it’s causing problems with his entire body.”
Jase added that the health issues have taken a mental and physical toll on his father.
“He’s just not doing well,” he said. “He’s really struggling.”

Jase had a more positive update on his mom, Kay, 77, who suffered a fall in February that required surgery.
“For my mom, it’s been a lot better this past week, because she was really not doing good,” he said. “She got an infection from a fall, from a cut that had happened earlier…she’s still in the hospital, but [now it’s] more rehab, physically, and trying to get her to eat.”
It’s a significant improvement over the immediate aftermath of her injury, when Jase admitted he wasn’t sure if Kay would survive.
“We were kinda dealing with the fact that maybe this is it,” he said. “That’s what it seemed like in the moment. It seemed close there. So it was difficult.”

“The people that [are] around them 24/7, ‘cause obviously we can’t be around them at all times, sent me a very graphic picture when she cut her leg,” Jase added on his “Duck Call Room” podcast in February. “It was a horror show, it was severe. I was fixing to get up on stage and I see this picture of my mom, I was like, ‘Oh man.’ I was like, ‘Get her to the hospital. I gotta speak.'”
In January, it was confirmed that most of the Robertson family, minus Phil, would be returning to the small screen for a Duck Dynasty revival this summer.
“Going back on A&E feels a little like going back home,” married stars Willie and Korie Robertson said in a statement. “We’re thankful for all who have followed along as our family has grown and expanded and can’t wait to get cameras rolling again on all our new adventures, or perhaps misadventures.”

Kim Kardashian’s style is getting sexier by the day.
Kardashian, 44, took to Instagram on Thursday, April 3, to show off a daring pantsless moment while trying on outfits. In the carousel, she posed naked with nothing but a fuzzy top featuring a strapless neckline and long tufts of fur covering her chest.
Kardashian bent down on the floor of the fitting room in her sprawling mansion and gazed into the camera. She wore her brunette strands in a middle part and slicked back into an updo. The Skims founder donned a full beat, including filled-in eyebrows, mascara and lined pink lips.
Elsewhere in the post, Kardashian tried on a pair of translucent heels with her fur top. Kardashian also modeled a tan Ludovic de Saint Sernin jacket featuring a painted motif on the back. In the snap, she pulled her tresses to the side and gave fans a glimpse of her bare bum in shredded cutout pants. She also rocked a brown animal print jacket with skintight leather pants attached to her pointed-toe heels.

“Fittings,” Kardashian captioned the post.
Fans were quick to gush over her sexy photoshoot in the comments section. The official Ludovic de Saint Sernin account wrote, “OBSESSED WITH THIS ,” while another fan added, “Fittings on fleek.” A third follower praised, “Mother is mothering.”
This isn’t the first slinky look Kardashian has sported as of late. Earlier this week, she showed off her curves in a Rick Owens bikini. She paired the label’s Drkshdw triangle halter top with high-cut bottoms and a matching skirt.
Kardashian elevated her ensemble with a chunky silver Rick Owens Cut Bevelled ring and a dainty gold bracelet. The KKW Beauty founder let her strands cascade down her back in beachy waves as she posed in front of a mirror sporting smoky eye makeup.

Jason Kelce is weighing in on retired NFL star Ryan Fitzpatrick comparing the Philadelphia Eagles’ infamous “tush push” to giving birth.
“Enjoyed your analogy of the tush push strain @JasonKelce and also congrats on the new baby,” Fitzpatrick, 42, shared via X on Thursday, April 3. “That led me to thinking what would YOU say is easier.”
Fitzpatrick’s two options were, “a woman having a baby” or “you blocking a season’s worth of tush pushes.” He added, “Anxiously awaiting your response.”
Jason, 36, was quick to respond.
“Oh man, hate to say, but it isn’t even close,” he shared via X. “I’ll take an entire career of tush pushes over giving birth. F*** that.”
Oh man, hate to say, but it isn’t even close. I’ll take an entire career of tush pushes over giving birth. Fuck that
— Jason Kelce (@JasonKelce) April 3, 2025
The social media conversation came after Jason had a discussion with brother Travis Kelce about their thoughts on banning the Eagles’ “tush push” (a football play in which multiple players push the quarterback through the other team’s defensive line) during the Wednesday, April 4, episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
“I get why certain teams want to ban it for competitive reasons. I get why some people think that it’s potentially unsafe. I think optically it looks unsafe,” Jason said. “For me personally, I never felt like there’s that much more of a risk of injuring somebody on the play and I don’t think there’s any statistics to back that up.”
He added, “Saying that it’s going to lead to more injuries is pure conjecture, not rooted in fact. I think the only argument I see for potentially banning it is: Is there a competitive advantage?”
Every Time Jason Kelce and Wife Kylie Kelce Hilariously Trolled Each Other
Fitzpatrick’s initial post also referred to the birth of Jason and wife Kylie Kelce’s fourth baby girl, Finnley “Finn” Anne. The couple announced their daughter’s arrival on March 30.
Kylie, 33, shared her birth story, and discussed a tush push of her own, during her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast postpartum special on Thursday, April 3. (Jason and Kylie are already parents to daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2.)
“I don’t know that people who have not felt this necessarily want to know this,” Kylie told listeners. “But the question that I was asked during my first labor was, ‘Do you feel pressure in your rectum?’ And you don’t know what that means until you know what it means.”
She added, “Then you’re like, ‘Get them back in here now. I know what they’re talking about.’ This time around, I was like, ‘Hey, I feel the pressure.’ … And then she was here. It was delightful.”

Mötley Crüe canceled a headline slot at the Boardwalk Rock festival because of singer Vince Neil’s ongoing health problems.
“Vince’s health comes first, and we fully support him in prioritizing his recovery. Please join us in wishing him well,” the band said in a statement on Thursday, April 4.
The heavy metal icons were due to perform on the opening night of the Ocean City, Maryland festival on May 17 as part of a loaded two-day lineup that also includes Def Leppard, Alice Cooper and Bret Michaels. They will be replaced as Boardwalk Rock headliners by ‘90s grunge pioneers Alice in Chains.
“We sincerely apologize to everyone who was looking forward to the show and appreciate your understanding,” Mötley Crüe said. “Our friends Alice in Chains are confirmed to take our place on May 17 and we are immensely grateful to them for stepping up and bringing their awesome show to Boardwalk Rock.”

Their statement concluded, “Thank you to all the Crüeheads for your continued support. We can’t wait for Vince to fully recuperate and to be back on stage again soon.”
Neil has yet to clarify what ailment he’s battling, though his health problems previously forced Mötley Crüe to delay the launch of their Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM from this spring to a new September 2025 start date.
“To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to seeing us this spring, I’m truly sorry,” Neil said earlier in March. “My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserved, and I can’t wait to return to the stage. Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know.”
Neil received public support from Mötley Crüe bandmates Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and John 5 wishing him “a speedy recovery.”
“We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September. We can’t wait to see you all out there, and thank you for your support and understanding in the meantime,” the trio added.

It has been a difficult few months for Neil, as his girlfriend, Rain Andreani, was injured in February when his private plane crashed into another airplane at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. Neil was not on board at the time, but his plane’s pilot was killed and four people were hurt in the tragic collision.
“At 2:39 p.m. local time, a Learjet aircraft Model 35A owned by Vince Neil was attempting to land at the Scottsdale Airport,” his spokesperson said in February. “For reasons unknown at this time, the plane veered from the runway causing it to collide with another parked plane. On board Mr. Neil’s plane were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane.”
His statement continued. “More specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is an ongoing investigation. Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the critical aid of all first responders assisting today.”
The National Transportation Safety Board’s (NTSB) preliminary investigation concluded that the jet’s rear left landing gear was not functioning, nor was the aircraft properly equipped with thrust reversers. According to the NTSB, these crucial malfunctions contributed to the jet sliding over the safety islands at Scottsdale Airport and then colliding with a nearby plane.
A final accident report from the NTSB will be released later this year.

Charity Nelms tried to make a move against Eva Erickson on Survivor 48 but couldn’t rally support from her fellow tribemates.
“To be honest, it kind of felt like everybody understood that and would want to [vote Erickson out,]” Nelms, 34, claimed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly on Thursday, April 3. “But because of Eva getting to share her story, I think a lot of people were just scared to do that — to look bad when that was a very real moment that transcended the game.”
Nelms was referring to the moment shown in last week’s episode where Erickson, 24, had an emotional moment where she told the remaining players she struggles with autism. While Nelms knew that situation was a “human moment,” she believed it had an impact on the game once the tribes reached the merge.
“We are also playing the game now,” she said. “And to treat her differently because of that, I personally don’t think is fair.”
Survivor's Biggest Villains and Fan Favorites
Nelms added that the reason she wanted to target Erickson was because she was such a savvy Survivor player. When approaching others to form a plan, Nelms claimed that she was hit with resistance.
“She is incredible, brave, smart, and that’s why I want her out of the game. She also has an idol in her bag that wasn’t really hers,” the flight attendant said of Erickson. “So the reception to that was like, ‘We think you’re right. And yeah, we kind of want to do that too, but we’re scared.’”
Nelms shared that the only two people who were not afraid of going after Erickson were herself and Sai Hughley. Nelms and Hughley, 30, raced for an advantage in the immunity challenge before they were both on the chopping block at Tribal Council. Ultimately Nelms was voted out over Hughley.
Not only has Erickson made an impactful impression on her tribe, she’s also won over the hearts of fans and Jeff Probst himself. During Erickson’s emotional moment with ally Joe Hunter, Probst, 63, was brought to tears — a first for the host in the past 48 seasons.
“When I said the words ‘mom and dad,’ it triggered the parent in me and something cracked open,” Probst admitted in a March interview with Entertainment Weekly. “It wasn’t just about Eva anymore — it was about every young person searching for the words to express who they are, and every parent trying to understand, support, and protect their child through it.”
