Val Kilmer's Cause of Death Revealed

The Valley’s Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Recall ‘Terrifying’ Fight
The Valley isn’t wasting any time in getting straight to the drama.
As excitement continues to build for season 2, Bravo decided to release the first seven minutes of the premiere on Thursday, April 10.
Viewers are quickly given an inside look into Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s relationship, nine months after they decided to separate following five years of marriage.
“It’s not going well,” Jax, 45, shares in the sneak peek. “She’s in a rental, and we’re allowed to date other people. It’s so toxic. It’s so broken. There was a lot of love there for a long time.”
‘The Valley’ Season 2 Trailer Has Hookers, Drunks and a Tearful Jax Taylor
According to Jax, things took a turn when he discovered Brittany, 36, was hooking up with his good friend Julian Sensley.

From Brittany’s perspective, “all hell broke loose” when her estranged husband discovered she had sent a sexy video to Julian.
“He flipped the coffee table and it hit my knee,” she claims to costar Michelle Saniei. “It turned black immediately. I’m screaming, crying. It was terrifying. … We were separated. He was hooking up with girls!”
When recalling the incident with Jesse Lally, Jax assured his costar that his 3-year-old son, Cruz, was in another room and didn’t see anything.
At the same time, he questioned how other guys would handle the moment if they were put in a similar situation.
“She was planning on moving back into my home but yet sending inappropriate messages. Like, what?” he asks Jesse, 43. “What would you do? You probably wouldn’t throw things.”
During a confessional interview, Jax is asked why things had to get violent. At the time, he didn’t have an answer for his behavior.
“What I did was wrong. I lost all control. I saw red,” he shares. “I had an out of body experience, but show me a guy that wouldn’t handle the situation like I handled it.”
Elsewhere in the season 2 premiere, Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko are trying to handle three kids under three. (In December 2024, Us Weekly exclusively confirmed the pair is expecting a fourth baby.)
‘The Valley’ Cast Weighs In on Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor’s Split
As for Kristen Doute — who announced in November 2024 that she is pregnant and expecting a baby girl with fiancé Luke Broderick — she hasn’t made any peace with Janet Caperna.
When asked where she stands with her costar, Kristen quickly says, “She’s dead to me.”
The Valley season 2 premieres on Bravo Tuesday, April 15, at 9 p.m. ET. Catch up on old episodes anytime on Peacock.

Gaudreau Brothers’ Blood Alcohol Levels at Death Are ‘Irrelevant': Lawyer
The blood alcohol levels of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau should not be allowed as evidence when the trial of their alleged killer begins, argued the brothers’ attorneys.
Prosecutors filed court documents at the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey on Wednesday, April 9, seeking to make the BAC levels inadmissible, according to TMZ Sports.
The lawyers said the brothers’ level of intoxication at the time of their deaths is “irrelevant.”
“Multiple witness accounts show that it was the defendant’s actions and his actions alone that caused the collision that led to Matthew and John Gaudreau’s deaths,” the documents stated.
How Johnny Gaudreau’s Presence Was Felt During His Son’s Birth
Johnny, 31, and Matthew, 29, were struck and killed by alleged drunk driver Sean M. Higgins in August 2024 while riding bicycles in Oldmans Township, New Jersey the night before their sister Katie Gaudreau’s wedding.

In a February court filing, attorneys for Higgins presented evidence alleging Johnny had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.129% when he was killed, while Matthew’s concentration was 0.134%.
Both numbers are higher than Higgins’ alleged level of 0.087%, which was above the legal driving limit of 0.08%.
The attorneys did not argue that the Gaudreaus’ blood alcohol levels played a role in the crash, but filed a motion to obtain additional information about how the levels for the brothers and Higgins were collected.
“We believe these filings are essential to ensuring that our client’s Constitutional rights are protected and that he is not being treated unfairly based upon the amount of publicity being garnered,” Higgins’ attorneys, Richard F. Klineburger III and Matthew V. Portella, said in a statement obtained by NJ.com.
Higgins was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated manslaughter, two counts of second-degree reckless vehicular homicide, a fourth-degree charge of tampering with physical evidence and a second-degree charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
In January, Higgins pleaded not guilty to all charges.
At the time, Higgins rejected a plea deal that would have seen him serve 35 years in prison. Higgins’ attorneys argued the 35-year offer was higher than usual due to the fame and notoriety surrounding the case and the Gaudreau family.

Higgins’ next court date is scheduled for April 15.
Meredith Gaudreau, Johnny’s wife, gave birth to the couple’s third baby on April 1.
“Carter Michael Gaudreau — same middle name as his daddy,” Meredith shared via Instagram. “8lb 3 ounces, 20.5 inches — exact same as his daddy. He looks exactly like his daddy too .”
Meredith added, “I love you so much my baby! We are going to have so much fun. I can’t wait to give you the best life, my special boy forever. John, thank you for giving me our beautiful family. We love u, Daddy and miss you so much .”

'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 Starts Filming With Rebooted Cast
Vanderpump Rules season 12 is officially underway with the new cast already filming, Us Weekly can confirm.
Lisa Vanderpump was spotted filming outside her famed SUR eatery on Wednesday, April 9, in footage obtained by TMZ.
News broke in November 2024 that season 12 will feature a brand-new crop of SURvers, and not longtime cast members Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay, Tom Schwartz, James Kennedy and Lala Kent.
“What a thrill it is to build on the legacy of this series by doing it all over again,” executive producer Alex Baskin said in a statement at the time. “With profound appreciation for the original group and their iconic run, we can’t wait for the audience to see a dynamic new group of co-workers and friends make their way through life together.”
Everything to Know About 'Vanderpump Rules' Season 12 After Cast Overhaul
The press release further called the new cast a “close-knit” group of SUR employees who are “complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.”
While Bravo has not confirmed the casting lineup, Vanderpump, 64, is certain that they will be able to uphold the reality TV show’s legacy.
“When you have a restaurant, especially in Hollywood, with a revolving door of beautiful people who are all kind of normally rather large personalities because they come to Hollywood for a reason, it’s always complicated,” Vanderpump exclusively told Us Weekly in February. “I am sure it’s gonna be very different with these young little minxes when they get to work, but we shall see.”
According to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, she has “some very interesting characters” joining the series.

“SUR has been around a long time,” Vanderpump told Us. “And as I [always] say, it’s a show we could have shot 12 months of the year.”
‘VPR’ Cast Didn’t Know the ‘Extent’ of Season 12 Recasting Plans
While the show is moving on from the OG cast members, Vanderpump still holds them all in high esteem.
“I do love them all regardless of their antics and their foibles,” Vanderpump said on Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast earlier this month. “There’s a deep love just because of what we’ve been through together and seeing them at such a young age, even though they’ve been very frustrating at times, for sure, and they’ve made mistakes.”
Per Vanderpump, she heard from Schwartz, 42, Kent, 34, and Kennedy, 33, “straight away” after the casting shakeup made headlines.
“I think Ariana texted me or tweeted me or something. Katie, I didn’t hear from. But, as I say, that doesn’t really surprise me,” the restaurateur further claimed. “It’s strange because I’m not saying they should be grateful to me — but they should be grateful for the show. We always celebrated them. But that show gave them a plethora of opportunities they wouldn’t necessarily have had.”
Maloney, 38, meanwhile, alleged on the Thursday, April 10, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast that she hasn’t heard “a peep” from Vanderpump either.

How 'The Last of Us' Cast Compares to Their Video Game Counterparts
The Last of Us follows a group of survivors after a pandemic wipes out most of humanity, but it’s not a virus that causes the catastrophe — it’s a fungus.
The culprit is cordyceps, a real fungus that has evolved in the show to infect humans, who become zombie-like after exposure. While minor characters come and go, the series focuses mainly on Joel (Pedro Pascal), a middle-aged survivor who is charged with protecting Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a teen girl who is seemingly immune to cordyceps.
The sci-fi drama is based on the 2013 video game of the same name, which was written by Neil Druckmann. The Naughty Dog copresident is also a creator and executive producer of the HBO series, helping to ensure the show maintains the spirit of the game while also deviating where necessary.

After the installment aired, Reid clapped back at homophobic critics of the budding romance between Ellie and Riley. "If you don’t like it, don’t watch,” Reid told Entertainment Weekly in February 2023. “We are telling important stories. We’re telling stories of people’s experiences, and that’s what I live for. That’s what makes good storytelling, because we are telling stories of people who are taking up space in the world.”

Blake Moynes Speaks Out About Ex-Fiancee Katie Thurston's Cancer Battle
Blake Moynes offered rare insight into where he stands with former fiancée, Katie Thurston, amid her ongoing cancer battle.
During the Thursday, April 10, episode of Jax Taylor‘s “In the Mind of a Man” podcast, Moynes, 34, was asked whether he kept in contact with Thurston, 34, to which he said, “We are. It took a little while [but] she ended up showing up on [Bachelor in] Paradise when I was there [in 2023]. I had not talked to her since we ended the engagement. So two years later we hashed it out. … We’ve been in touch here and there since.”
Later in the episode, Taylor specifically addressed Thurston’s battle with stage 4 breast cancer. “Anything that she’s been talking about, I’ve been following along with her,” Moynes said. “She did a podcast recently and I’m always just listening in on her. I’m not going to be on the phone with her obviously — as the ex — but I did reach out to her and left her a long video message giving her all the support.”
Moynes continued: “I will say it’s a scary thing. But I know her and she’s a fiery girl. I’m very optimistic in how she handles this. As I see, it’s a small hurdle for her. She’s going about it in a very cool way, doing it publicly and showing [everyone the treatment process].”
Katie Thurston, Blake Moynes' Honest Quotes About Life Post-Split
The update on the former couple comes after Thurston previously told Us Weekly that “many of the guys” from her season reached out to her.
“Many of the top five guys from my season have reached out and sent words of support,” she shared last month. “Everyone is very, very sweet and supportive. That is just what’s so great about that experience is we all recognize what we went through in that little bubble. At the end of the day, we’re all humans and we all have a heart. The guys have been great and reaching out and offering their support.”
Moynes made his Bachelor franchise debut in 2020 when he appeared on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams‘ season of The Bachelorette. One year later, he tried his luck at the final rose again during Thurston’s season. Moynes proposed to Thurston during season 17, which aired in August 2021. Two months later, however, they announced their decision to call off the engagement.
Bachelorette's Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes' Relationship Timeline
“It is with mutual love and respect that we have decided to go our separate ways. We are so grateful for the moments we shared together and the entire journey that has unfolded this year, but we ultimately have concluded that we are not compatible as life partners, and it is the most caring choice for both of us to move forward independently,” they captioned their joint statement via Instagram in October 2021. “We ask for kindness and privacy as we both navigate this transition. Both of us will forever want the best for one another and ask you to please support us in our decision.”
Thurston has since found love with Jeff Arcuri, whom she married in March.
“Being married doesn’t feel any different since we often referred to each other as husband and wife already,” Thurston told Us. “I did introduce Jeff as my husband at my latest doctor’s appointment and that felt powerful for some reason.”
Arcuri, 36, agreed, adding “She’s been my wife since the day I met her. The ceremony was emotional, but only a temporary placeholder until the true celebration.”

Kylie Jenner Was Worried About Having Her ‘Tits Out’ at Golden Globes
Kylie Jenner is proof that stars are just like Us: She worries about showing too much cleavage.
Jenner, 27, had doubts about the low-cut dress she wore to the 2025 Golden Globe Awards in January, which she attended with her boyfriend and nominee Timothée Chalamet.
“Should I have looked like this at the Golden Globes with my tits out?” Kylie asked mom Kris Jenner over the phone on the Wednesday, April 9, episode of The Kardashians, referring to the Atelier Versace she wore to the awards show.
Ever supportive of her daughter, Kris offered her reassurance and advice. “Yes. You have to wear your best dress to every function you go to, no matter what,” she said definitively.

The Kardashian-Jenner momager shared another one of her sartorial philosophies with her youngest: “It’s like I tell you. You have to wear matching lingerie because if you’re ever in an accident and you have to go to the hospital, you’re gonna have gorgeous lingerie on,” Kris said.
Her daughter, seemingly accustomed and convinced by the guidance, simply replied, “OK.”

Jenner made a notable entrance at the ceremony, appearing in the iconic dress from Donatella Versace’s Spring 1999 collection — a design Elizabeth Hurley famously wore in a lilac version to the 1999 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Awards with her then-boyfriend Hugh Grant.
(The former couple dated from 1987 to 2000, and they’ve since then have remained close; the Notting Hill actor is the godfather to his ex’s son Damian, 22, whom Hurley, 59, shares with Steve Bing.)
The Hottest Naked Dresses on Oscars Night 2025: Kylie Jenner, More
Despite any potential pre-ceremony jitters, Kylie confidently continued her awards season appearances with Chalamet, 29, at the star-studded Hollywood events that followed, like the BAFTAs and Oscars, in similarly striking dresses that were widely considered red-carpet wins.
They consistently landed her on best-dressed lists, including the look she wore to the Globes.
