Actor Hero Fiennes-Tiffin Is Ready to Return for 'Harry Potter' Reboot
Actor and producer Hero Fiennes-Tiffin is ready to go back to Hogwarts.
“I would 100 percent be open to coming back as any character in the HBO Harry Potter series,” Fiennes-Tiffin, 27, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 5, while attending the premiere of Picture This at Neuehouse Madison Square in New York City.
“Listen, tell them to,” he continued, before making a “call me” gesture with his hand.
Fiennes-Tiffin, who played a young Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, said that if he is asked to return to the franchise in the highly anticipated reboot, he can’t imagine he’d be “anyone else” but He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
“I don’t think I could be anyone else,” he explained. “I’m not just Team Tom Riddle, I’m Team Slytherin as well. So if it is anyone else, I think it’s gotta be Team Slytherin. I’ve picked my name out of the hat, and I’m Slytherin ‘till I die.”

In April 2023, during a Warner Bros. Discovery presentation, the network revealed it was moving forward with a TV reboot of J.K. Rowling’s iconic novels-turned-movie franchise for its streaming service, Max. The “decade-long series,” the network said, will feature an entirely new cast.
Ralph Fiennes Thinks Cillian Murphy Playing Voldemort Would Be 'Excellent'
“Max’s commitment to preserving the integrity of my books is important to me, and I’m looking forward to being part of this new adaptation which will allow for a degree of depth and detail only afforded by a long form television series,” Rowling, who has found herself in hot water over the years due to her repeated transphobic comments, said in a statement at the time.
When looking back on his time filming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Fiennes-Tiffin says his “coolest memory” is simply “chilling with Michael Gambon.”
“I was so lucky to work with him, and he’s just such a cool guy,” Fiennes-Tiffin told Us. “I’m like 9 or 10 at the time and we’d just be making jokes all the time. Also, he has massive hands. I don’t know if anyone had noticed, but his hands are just huge. So I think as a kid, it’s stupid things like that [that you remember].”
The actor and producer went on to share that working with Gambon, who played Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, was “a real dream,” adding that Gambon was also “so good with kids.”
“I’m sure a lot of the actors, directors, producers, everyone, they’re used to working with kids,” he continued. “I think I turned 11 — I was 10 years old, turned 11 — while we were shooting. They just know how to keep the fun and make it not feel like work, and Michael Gambon was extremely good at that. So I’ll always be very grateful for sharing the screen with him.”
In February, John Lithgow confirmed reports that he will step in Gambon’s shoes and play Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming Max series.

“Well, it came as a total surprise to me,” Lithgow, 79, said in an interview with ScreenRant at the time. “I just got the phone call up at the Sundance Film Festival for yet another film, and it was not an easy decision because it’s going to define me for the last chapter of my life, I’m afraid.”
Like Lithgow, Fiennes-Tiffin is also considering his projection as an actor, telling Us that he has loved “all the roles I’ve done,” particularly his character in Picture This.
“I think it’s the first out-and-out rom-com that I’ve done,” he explained. “It’s been an absolute pleasure. But for me, I’m always quite excited to do something different from the last. So I don’t think I’m itching to do a rom-com immediately, but I’m sure in two, three jobs time, I will be missing it and will want to do another rom-com again.”

Teddi Mellencamp Rides Horse for 1st Time Since Brain Surgery
Teddie Mellencamp is back in the saddle after undergoing brain surgery last month.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared photos and videos of herself riding her horse, Toad, and competing in an equestrian event via Instagram on Saturday, March 8.
“17 days in hospital. First ride in 4 weeks. I am so blessed,” she wrote over footage of herself taking part in a dressage event.
“Dear brain tumors. You tried to break my heart. You failed. I love life 2 much to waste more tears on you,” Mellencamp, 43, wrote over a photo of two show ribbons. She also thanked professional equestrians John Zambrano and Peter Lomabardo for “giving me the confidence and support to go back in the show ring.”
Mellencamp posted more footage from her day at the paddocks, sharing a video while she rode Toad and thanked him for being a “horse of a lifetime.”
Teddi Mellencamp Breaks Her Silence After Surgery for Brain Tumors
“My baby boy would do anything for me. I would do the same for him. Horse of a lifetime. Toad thank you for making me feel alive,” she wrote over the clip, which featured Sonny & Cher’s song “I Got You Babe.”

Mellencamp recently underwent brain surgery on February 12 to remove multiple tumors, which produced “severe and debilitating headaches” for several weeks and had reportedly been growing for six months. In an update post-surgery, she shared photos from the hospital, as well as a CT scan, and revealed that four tumors were removed from her brain. She is now receiving immunotherapy and radiation.
“I have multiple tumors in my brain that weren’t able to be removed via surgery. I also have 2 tumors in my lung. These are all metastases of my melanoma,” Mellencamp wrote via Instagram on Thursday, March 6. “The doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy will effectively treat them. I am feeling positive — that I will win this battle, that I got this wig (I like the short hair, just not the bald spots), and that I can remember all of Angelina [Jolie]’s kids’ names. Now, as @bravoandy would say: with all due… f*** off, cancer!”
Earlier on Saturday, Mellencamp opened up about how horseback riding has helped her amid her cancer journey. (She was also diagnosed with stage II melanoma, a type of skin cancer, which was promptly removed in 2022.)
“I unknowingly rode with huge tumors in my brain for 6 months and those big ones are gone now. When you are sick or have cancer, your mental health is very important. I must keep going and give myself joy and goals,” Mellencamp shared via Instagram.
“I am going to always fight to be my best and find ways to smile and enjoy my life. Thanks for coming along this journey with me. I am in no place for negativity or discouragement.”
She also thanked her father, John Mellencamp, for believing in her and letting her know she “can do it.”
“Cried with happiness that I have your support,” she stated.
Following Teddi’s surgery, her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, shared an update on her health. (Teddi filed for divorce from Arroyave, 47, in November 2024. The pair share daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 5, as well as son Cruz, 10.)

“So many people asking for updates. All I will say right now is surgery went well,” he wrote via his Instagram Story in February. “That said, I’ve never seen @teddimellencamp in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.”
Teddi added in February, “As I move on to the next steps in my treatment, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they’re definitely helping me stay strong.”

Leighton Meester, Kelly Rutherford's Reunion Is So Blair and Lily-Coded
Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford’s latest Gossip Girl reunion would surely have the approval of their characters, Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen.
Meester, 38, and Rutherford, 56, sat together at the Elie Saab Womenswear Fall/Winter presentation at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, March 8. The two actresses were also spotted hugging and chatting ahead of the catwalk show.
After the show held at Paris’ Palais de Tokyo concluded, Meester and Rutherford posed for photos with the designer and fellow actress Sofia Carson.
Both Meester and Rutherford brought their signature flair to the stylish outing, opting for glam gowns in emerald and gold, respectively.
‘Gossip Girl’ Outfits We Still Think About 16 Years After the Show Premiered
Gossip Girl, based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s book series of the same name, aired for six seasons on The CW from 2007 to 2012. Meester portrayed Blair, the self-appointed Queen Bee of NYC prep school Constance Billard for Girls. The show charted the friendship between Blair and Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively). Rutherford famously played Serena’s mother, Lily, who later became Blair’s surrogate mother-in-law. (Blair married Ed Westwick’s Chuck Bass in the series finale. Lily was the second wife of Chuck’s dad, Bart Bass, ahead of his death in the last episodes.)
Gossip Girl was also known for its fashionable wardrobe — including pieces by Elie Saab. Blair’s wedding gown from her marriage to Chuck, a teal couture frock, was specifically made by the designer.
“When I saw the Elie Saab dress finally chosen for Blair’s wedding to Chuck, it was absolutely perfect for her,” show costume designer Eric Daman told In Style in 2012. “It needed to feel like old-world glamour meets contemporary high fashion.”
Kelly Rutherford, Ed Westwick Prove to Be Lily and Chuck IRL at His Wedding
He added, “I liked the beautiful blue hue. It reminded me of the wedding dress Wallis Simpson wore during her scandalous wedding to The Duke of Windsor.”
Meester recently had another Gossip Girl reunion, linking up with Kristen Bell (who did voiceover narration for the anonymous blogger) at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards last month.
“Timothée Chalamet sitting next to a hot steak. Medium rare. Au poivre with a side of broccoli,” Bell, 44, said, reading off a series of texts. “Wait, what are you doing, Leighton? None of this is gossip. This is all about food!”
Meester, taking a bite out of a dinner roll, subsequently apologized.
“I’m sorry. I’m just really hungry,” Meester joked.
Meester attended the SAGs in support of her husband, Adam Brody, who was nominated for his role in Nobody Wants This. Brody, 45, and Bell are costars in Netflix’s Nobody Wants This with Meester slated to make a cameo in the currently filming second season.

‘With Love, Meghan’ Director Dishes on Meghan Markle's Cooking Skills
With Love, Meghan director Michael Steed opened up about what it was like to work with Meghan Markle on the new Netflix series.
“Her cooking is pretty spot-on. She’s not a chef, and it’s definitely not meant to make it seem like she is, but there’s just a love of cooking that is palpable,” Steed said in an interview with People, published on Saturday, March 8.
“For me, imperfection is a wonderful thing. It was fun watching her trying to get used to the kitchen, because it’s not her place, so we didn’t hide that fact, and she’s kind of walking and looking for things,” Steed continued, referencing the Montecito house the series was filmed in.
“I really wanted to embrace and celebrate all of the mistakes and mess and all that good stuff,” he added.
Mindy Kaling Praises Meghan Markle’s Cooking: ‘Blew Me Out of the Water’
In the series, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is seen cooking, crafting, and hosting her celebrity friends, including Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, as she shares her best lifestyle tips and tricks.
Amid a mixed public reaction to the series, Meghan announced via Instagram on Friday, March 7, that it had been renewed for a second season.
As for Steed, he will return as director of the second season, which has already completed filming, Us Weekly previously reported.
In his interview with People, Steed said Meghan was “friendly” while filming and managed to create a “comfortable environment” on set.
Meanwhile, an unnamed member of the crew told the outlet that Meghan was “warm,” “approachable,” and “genuine.”
Meghan Markle’s Kids, Prince Harry Visited ‘With Love’ Set, Crew Member Says
“She made sure everyone felt included, from Netflix executives to our director to every PA on set. No one was left out,” the crew member said.
The crew member added that Meghan would allow everyone on set to try the food she made on the show.
“She was a great hostess. Between takes, if something was ready to eat, she’d cut it into bite-sized pieces and serve it to us,” he explained.
He added that the duchess would provide thoughtful gestures for the crew, from supplying a coffee cart to a shaved ice truck on a hot day.
“One day, she had a bespoke ice cream cart with local homemade ice cream,” he said.“She had an acai truck for us, too. Every week, she did something like that for us. It was really lovely.”

Rebecca Wisocky Teases Hetty’s 'Shocking' Power Reveal on ‘Ghosts'
Rebecca Wisocky has been in her Ghosts era since the show’s 2021 premiere — but what TV series would she want to haunt if she was a spirit?
“I grew up loving The Carol Burnett Show,” Wisocky, 53, exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “I would have to say The Carol Burnett Show, because in my mind, and of course it was imprinted on me at a time when I was just figuring out what funny was to me, watching [the late] Harvey Korman and Tim Conway break each other.”
The actress explains that the “sheer reckless silly joy” was “so palpable watching those Carol Burnett episodes,” which informed her pick. “I can’t imagine that that wouldn’t be an amazing place just to kind of hang out,” Wisocky says.
She teases that since The Carol Burnett Show was filmed on stage 33 at CBS Television City, as a ghost she’d be kept pretty busy floating from one soundstage to the next. Wisocky notes her spirit would have to visit “The $100,000 Pyramid and Press Your Luck, and then all kinds of crazy wackadoo game shows were there too.”
Viral Country Star Dasha Relates Harrowing Ghost Story From Childhood
When it comes to Ghosts, which is in its fourth season, Wisocky says there are a lot of laughs to be had for viewers as well. The actress tells Us that she’s most excited for fans to discover what her character Hetty Woodstone’s power is — since she hasn’t had one yet.
“It was really juicy to play for a while [when I] thought that maybe Hetty might not have a power,” Wisocky told Us, noting that Hetty’s power comes to light during the Thursday, March 13, episode. “It is related to something else that we find out about her, which was a big shocker this year that she is in fact Irish.”
Scroll down for more from Us Weekly’s exclusive interview with Wisocky ahead of Hetty’s power reveal:
Where Does Her Power Rank?

“Hetty is very invested in where her power ranks,” Wisocky teases, revealing, “It is not something onerous or stinky like Isaac.”
She explains, “It could end up being very useful. It is surprising and shocking and opens up a new relationship for Hetty. It opens up a new kind of portal into the living world. But of course, it comes with its restrictions and [a] shortcoming.”
The TV star adds that when Hetty receives her power in the “St. Hetty’s Day” episode she “thinks it’s at the top” of the list ranking wise. “At the end of the day, not so much,” Wisocky says.
What Is Hetty’s Reaction to Gaining Her Power?
“She’s shocked and excited and feels that it opens up a whole new world of possibilities for her,” she dishes. “It’s also kind of humbling and sweet.”
How Many Blue Dresses Does Hetty Go Through?

Throughout the series, Hetty wears an iconic blue dress that signifies her life in the late 1800s. Wisocky, however, says there isn’t just one blue gown on set.
“I have many different dresses,” she explains. “They’ve tweaked them and suddenly changed them in how they fit over the years and had to source and create new [ones] because there was a limited amount of that blue silk fabric, so they had to actually go and recreate it and then make new dresses from that fabric.”
She says, “I think maybe there’s like six now. And I have various different corsets, depending on how tortured I wish to feel on any given day.”
What’s Her Favorite Part of Hetty’s Evolution?
“One of my favorite things that they’ve done with her and they’ve allowed me to do with her is she’s this wonderful juxtaposition between stick in the mud, uptight, ornery, and also incredibly childlike,” Wisocky shares. “I love those sides of her when she gets to be, you know, innocent and open and eager about discovering new things.”
She jokes, “Of course, she does so through this very odd lens from her own time period in her own, you know, life, it’s humorous and kind of adorable too. The way she gets it all wrong.”
Wisocky praises the character for approaching “many of these new things and challenges and concepts with both judgment and complete childlike abandon and that’s so much fun for me as an actor.”
How Does the Cast Bond Off Camera?

After working together for four years, Wisocky tells Us that the cast “really love each other” and that “chemistry” has grown thanks to their “closeness, that sense of comradery and being on the same team.”
The actors film in Montreal, so when they are on location Wisocky says they often “go out to dinner” or “hockey games, we go to concerts,” because “we’re stuck there.” She notes that when the group shoots over Thanksgiving week they celebrate the holiday together.
Unrecognizable! What the Cast of ‘Ghosts’ Looks Like in Real Life
Their other activities include pickleball, dinners and playing boardgames. “Everyone was into pickleball this past year and that’s been really fun. Most of us play pickleball up there and we play Scrabble,” Wisocky reveals. “Brandon [Scott Jones] and I are super into Scrabble.”
She continues, “Some of us had taken French lessons together.” Wisocky says with a laugh, “It’s like summer camp, but it’s summer, fall, winter.”
For more details on Wisocky’s role on Ghosts pick up the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now.
Ghosts airs on CBS Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Michelle Trachtenberg's '17 Again' Brother Sterling Knight Mourns Her Death
17 Again star Sterling Knight is remembering the time he spent with his late movie sister, Michelle Trachtenberg, in the wake of her sudden death.
“Some quick thoughts. Thanks to everyone for the bday wishes, I ended up having emergency gallbladder removal surgery (would not recommend) but I’m healing up nicely. With the timing of that, and the passing of Michelle, who was so unbelievably kind to me, it made me think,” Knight, 36, wrote via Instagram on Friday, March 7. “Tomorrow is not guaranteed and it’s important to tell those close to you that you love them and appreciate them as often as possible.”
He added, “Michelle was generous, kind and beyond helpful to me as I navigated my first big movie. I had grown up watching her (as we all did) and she always had time for me if I had questions or was struggling.”
Knight and Trachtenberg, who died in February at the age of 39, played siblings Alex and Maggie in 2009’s 17 Again. The two former child stars portrayed the children of Matthew Perry and Leslie Mann’s respective characters. (Perry died at age 54 in October 2023.)
Michelle Trachtenberg Was ‘Thrown’ Health ‘Curveballs’ Before Death
“I’ll never forget hanging out with Matthew and Michelle in her trailer, for hours, talking about life and work, lessons and wisdom they had picked up,” Knight said on Friday. “Bit of a combo update/gratitude post, but thanks again to everyone and I’m feeling much better. Miss you Michelle. Love y’all.”
Us Weekly confirmed Trachtenberg’s death last month.
“It is with great sadness to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away,” her rep told Us in a statement on February 26. “The family requests privacy for their loss. There are no further details at this time.”

Trachtenberg — best known for roles in Harriet the Spy, Ice Princess, Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer — is survived by her parents, her sister and her boyfriend. (Trachtenberg started dating talent agent Jay Cohen in 2020.)
A cause of death has been ruled as “undetermined” after the actress’ family objected to an autopsy. Trachtenberg had initially been found unconscious by her mother, Lana, inside her New York City apartment.
Stars React to Michelle Trachtenberg’s Death at Age 39
“On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at approximately 0801 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided individual at 1 Columbus Place, within the confines of the Midtown North Precinct,’” local law enforcement officers said in a statement at the time. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased. Criminality is not suspected.”

Lady Gaga Gives Update on Her Fibromyalgia Battle: ‘I’m 95 Percent Better’

Lady Gaga is on the mend following a lengthy and painful battle with fibromyalgia.
“It’s very under control. It took over my life for a long time, but I’m 95 percent better,” Gaga, 38, told The Sunday Times in a profile published on Sunday, March 9. “I still have pain days, but they are very rare. I feel lucky.”
She added, “People do not always make it through the career and the success that I have had. They don’t always get to the other side, given how it can affect your mental health and body. But I did.”
The pop star revealed her diagnosis in her 2017 Netflix documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two.
Lady Gaga Hasn’t Smoked Pot ‘In Years’ After Living With Chronic Pain
“The whole right side of my body is in a spasm,” Gaga explained to the cameras at the time. “My f—ing face hurts. I just think about other people that have maybe something like this that are struggling to figure out what it is, and they don’t have the money to have somebody help them.”
A source later gave Us Weekly insight into how Gaga was treating the pain.
“She’s been trying everything to rid herself of pain,” the insider exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2018, adding that the pop star was undergoing various treatments including acupuncture and reiki healing. “It’s a very slow road to her getting better.”

Gaga’s health also forced her to end her Joanne World Tour early.
“Unfortunately, Lady Gaga is suffering from severe pain that has materially impacted her ability to perform live,” a February 2018 statement read. “As a result, Live Nation and Lady Gaga are announcing the cancellation of the final 10 dates of the European leg of her Joanne World Tour. Last night, with strong support from her medical team, Lady Gaga made the tough decision to immediately come off the road. She is extremely sorry and deeply saddened that she cannot perform for her European fans, who have waited so patiently.”
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky Are in a 'Better Place' After 'Some Issues'
Four years later, Gaga embarked on her Chromatica Ball tour.
“When I went on the Chromatica Ball tour in 2022 that was the first time I’ve performed not in pain in … I don’t even remember,” she recalled to Vogue of the concerts in September 2024. “I haven’t smoked pot in years. I’ve, like, changed. A lot. I feel like this new album, in a lot of ways, is about that time but from a place of happiness instead of misery. And now, Michael [Polansky, my fiancé] and I are really excited to organize our lives — and our marriage — around our creative output as a couple.”
Gaga dropped her latest album, Mayhem, earlier this week.
