Breaking Down Every Deleted Scene From 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives'
Not every dramatic moment made it into seasons 1 and 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — but now fans are getting a glimpse into a handful that ended up on the cutting room floor.
During the Hulu special, which started streaming on Tuesday, July 1, host Nick Viall didn’t just grill Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Taylor Frankie Paul, Layla Taylor and Miranda McWhorter about the events from the first two seasons of the show.
There were also several never-before-seen clips that were shared with the audience as a way to entertain — and stir the pot. The reunion even included moments with DadTok a.k.a Connor Leavittt, Zac Affleck, Jordan Ngatikaura, Dakota Mortensen, Jace Terry and Jacob Neely.
The only person missing was Demi Engemann, whose absence was addressed and footage of her answering burning questions with Nick at his podcast studio played throughout the reunion to offer context to certain claims.
'Mormon Wives’ Couples Status Check: Who Is Still Together? Who Broke Up?
Among some of the deleted scenes were more tense moments between Whitney and Mikayla, an enema that most of Us wish we didn’t have to see and even a glimpse at how DadTok creates their own content.
Keep scrolling for a guide to every single never-before-seen clip that aired during The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives reunion:
The Start of Whitney and Mikayla’s Feud
Both Whitney and Mikayla hinted that their issues didn’t start during season 2. According to Mikayla, she was already upset at Whitney while filming the first season of the hit show, which viewers didn’t get to see until now. In a brief clip, Whitney told Mayci and Mikayla about a setback in her and Conner’s marriage after she found porn on his phone following his sex addiction.
“I lost my absolute s***. I think I felt more lonely after finding this out than I did when I first found out. Like, I even felt lonely from you guys,” Whitney said. “There was no follow-up. There was no, ‘How are you doing?’”
Mayci and Mikayla disagreed and even slammed Whitney for “invalidating anything” they have done for her.
“Whitney likes a lot of attention,” Mikayla told the cameras. “She does things very out on a whim and spontaneously when she’s feeling out of control.”
Mikayla’s Coffee Enemas
In a fun clip, Mayci and Mikayla pondered whether coffee enemas went against the Mormon church. Mikayla spread the wealth by setting Jessi and Demi up as well before showing her “haul” from her own enema.
DadTok Leaning Into the Rumors

Conner and his wife, Whitney, previously poked fun at the “lavender marriage” jokes after The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premiered in September 2024. During a new clip, the dads of the group were planning a video when Jordan suggested they “pull” Conner “out of the closet” to lean into the humor.
“Are you wanting to do this though?” Dakota asked Conner while Brett encouraged him to “lean into it. Conner, for his part, had no issue mocking the speculation about his sexuality with a TikTok video — as many of Us already know.

Conner’s Revelation

A deleted scene showed a conversation between Whitney and Conner about their move to Hawaii before season 1.
“I kind of missed that because I feel like we ran away from something,” Whitney told Conner, who said he didn’t “want to lie” anymore about what caused issues in their marriage.
Producers asked Conner if he felt “comfortable” speaking out about his past, to which he replied, “I had a really big problem with pornography. On top of that, I had a presence on a dating website — not because I didn’t love my wife — but because I felt like I needed validation. I needed to get help. So we started going to therapy and trying to figure out why — and I knew why.”
Conner revealed that he only shared this information “with Whitney, my therapist and my family” before addressing it on screen.
“When I was a little boy, I was raped. When I was finally honest with that emotion and that memory, everything made sense,” he said in the emotional joint interview with Whitney. “The validation I needed … I hate that I did that to you. But I’m so proud that I was able to be honest with you and start working through some really, really hard stuff.”
Conner explained why he felt like addressing his trauma turns him “into a victim,” even though he blamed himself for how his subsequent actions hurt Whitney.
“These were actions I took. I had a real problem,” he noted. “It led to something that really hurt my wife. I’m so sorry.”
Where 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Stars Stand With the Church
Layla Addresses Concerns About Her Weight and Mental Health Struggles

“I’ve been skinny my whole life though. I feel like everyone’s concerned right now, but I’ve been skinny my whole entire life,” Layla told Demi while discussing how she still has issues with body dysmorphia. “It’s like when you guys tell me, ‘Oh, you used to look like a healthy weight.’ When you have an eating disorder, the word ‘healthy’ triggers me.”
Layla said being told she looks “tiny” encourages her eating disorder, adding, “For some reason, in my twisted brain, I think I am going down the right track. That gives me an endorphin rush. Also just living in Utah, the need to chase perfection — when it’s not attainable — is such a bad thing here.”
Elsewhere in the clip, Layla showed her scars on her wrists from past self-harm attempts.
“They’re kind of visible, but they’re not too bad. I feel like I’m more insecure about those, and it’s just an image thing here,” she continued. “Because someone looks at them and they don’t recognize what I’ve struggled with. They look at me and they judge.”
Embracing Plastic Surgery — and Sex
Footage from the first two seasons showed Mikayla getting Botox despite concerns about whether it was allowed by the Mormon church. There were also clips of Jen and Demi at their ketamine appointments.
During another outing, the group went into a sex shop to see what there was to explore — including a $1,000 sex doll.

JoJo Fletcher Is on 'Fertility Journey' With Jordan Rodgers
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are ready for a family — and trusting the process.
“Fertility is such a sensitive topic to anybody going through it. Jordan and I have been on our own fertility journey — and man, it’s been a journey,” the 34-year-old former Bachelorette told Us Weekly at a recent dinner for her alcohol brand, Saint Spritz, at the Butcher’s Daughter in New York City. “But I do keep positive about the situation and I know that when it’s meant to be, it will be.”
Noting “everybody has a different experience” when it comes to expanding their family, Fletcher confirmed the couple are “looking forward” to having kids. She added, “When the time comes and we have a little Baby Rodgers, it’ll be a very, very exciting moment.”
Fletcher and Rodgers, 36, met on season 12 of The Bachelorette, which aired in 2016.
Jordan Rodgers Celebrates 8 Years Since Proposing to JoJo Fletcher
“It is pretty wild that next year will be a decade of me and Jordan being together,” she told Us. “When I think back on the show I’m like, ‘Oh, that was just, like, two years ago. I was 24 just yesterday!’ No, I’ll be 35 in November. But what a whirlwind and crazy story to be able to tell 10 years later.”

While the twosome have a wedding anniversary (May 14, 2022), Fletcher notes that the anniversary of when Rodgers popped the question is extra special. “The fact that we met on a reality TV show — and have been together since we met — is wild,” she said.
Acknowledging she doesn’t always keep up with The Bachelor franchise — Fletcher is, however, all in on Love Island USA and wants someone to shake things up with Ace acting like “the president in the villa” — she plans to check in on the new season of Bachelor in Paradise.
“I am interested to see how the Goldens are integrated into it,” she said. “I want to see them get in on the fun.”
While keeping up with her favorite reality TV shows, Fletcher is sipping on her brand’s Hugo Spritz.
JoJo and Jordan Confirm Conversations About Kids Are ‘At the Forefront'
“Amalfi was our original, inspired by a love of the Aperol spritz. Hugo is the It Girl for me,” she told Us. “When we were developing this, it was before Hugo even had its moment in the U.S. so we felt proud to be a little bit ahead of the curve. I could drink way too many of these. But I, obviously, love all of them.”

The brand, which she runs with her brother Ben, sister-in-law Mallory and Mallory’s sister, Jordan, recently celebrated becoming the No. 1 wine cocktail in Target after two months in the stores.
“The fact that we were able to accomplish that within 60 days of launching in Target nationally was like, ‘Holy moly, I think we’re onto something.’ It was so freaking cool,” she said. “So proud of our team.”

McBee Dynasty's Galyna Hints She Acts Out 'A Little Bit' After Steve Split
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys’ Galyna Saltkovska cut ties with Steve McBee Sr. following their season 1 drama — but the fallout lingers during season 2.
“It’s not your regular reality show, so buckle up. That’s all I have to say,” Galyna exclusively told Us Weekly at Galyna Saltkovska’s Golden Afternoon at Truly Blessed Jewels event in Newport Beach, California, on Sunday, June 29.
Galyna teased that she is “newly single” and “exploring that” during season 2 of the Bravo show, but that isn’t necessarily a good thing.
“It was not a great chapter in season 2 for me. I’m not gonna lie,” Galyna said with a laugh. “It was something that I was learning, [how to become] single.”
Failed Reality TV Romances Over the Years
Fans previously saw Galyna’s relationship with Steve weather many storms, including his romance with another woman in Kansas City. When season 1 ended, Steve left the ranch following a failed business venture that Galyna was handling.
The second season was filmed in summer 2024. In the premiere episode, which aired Monday, June 30, Steve was dating someone new — Galyna’s former friend Masha — and Galyna was not handling it well.
“Steve and I broke up because I found out that he was f***ing my friend while I was still living in the house. I was so severely backstabbed,” Galyna said during the premiere.

As the episode continued, Galyna’s anger over Masha living in Steve’s house bubbled over. At one point, Galyna told his son Steven McBee Jr. that Masha’s car — which Steve was paying for — has $7,000 in damages. Steven was concerned Galyna might’ve done it, claiming that her eyes “looked crazy.” (“It was 100 percent Galyna,” Steven told the cameras, blaming his dad for once again complicating everything with his love life.)
Galyna denied having any part in the destruction, but she confessed to Us on Sunday that fans will see her in a dark place during season 2 while navigating her split from Steve.
‘The McBee Dynasty' Family Guide: Meet 4 Brothers, Their Significant Others
“I did act out a little bit, and I hope [the boys] will understand my behaviors based on everything that happened to me,” Galyna explained, referring to Steve’s sons, Steven, Jesse, Cole and Brayden, whom she continues to work with at McBee Farm & Cattle to this day.
Galyna, who is the CFO and COO of the farm, insisted that the McBees are her family — even though her past romance with Steve did complicate things for some time.

“I mean, obviously, I had reasons to act the way I did. But it never was about my relationship with the boys or anything like that,” she told Us. “I never compromised the relationship with the guys. Family dynamics are tricky, but ultimately, they are my family.”
Apart from her failed romance with Steve, Galyna has been through a lot over the past two years because of his actions.
Messiest Bachelor Nation Breakups: Andi and Josh, Colton and Cassie, More
After season 1 aired in spring 2024, the McBee Farm was investigated by the FBI. Steve, who started the business in the ‘90s, pleaded guilty in November 2024 to a multimillion-dollar fraud scam using federal crop insurance. He will be sentenced for his crimes in September.
When Steve left the farm — before the fraud scandal came to light — his eldest son, Steven, stepped up as CEO. Throughout season 2, fans will see how Steven handles the ranch’s ups and downs with the help of his brothers and Galyna, who stayed by their sides.

“We go way back. We have businesses together,” Galyna said of her dynamic with Steven, Cole and Jesse. “I’m not going to compromise the friendships and the relationship we’ve built over my personal relationship with their father. I’m not that way.”
Despite her heartbreak, Galyna told Us she is “absolutely open to dating” again if she finds “somebody that treats me good.”
She quipped, “If you don’t want to be with me, don’t be with me. Don’t lead me on. Don’t let me find out on national TV you do not want to be in the relationship!”

King Charles Cuts Royal Train After $107,000 in Trips in Past Year
King Charles III is making a modern change to a royal family tradition.
The British monarch’s new financial secretary announced on Tuesday, July 1, that the Royal Train is set to be decommissioned in 2027 after a series of needed renovations deemed the method of transformation to be cost ineffective.
“The Royal Train has been part of national life for many decades, loved and cared for by all those involved. But in moving forwards, we must not be bound by the past,” James Chalmers, the Keeper of the Privy Purse, said in a statement. “Just as so many parts of the Royal household’s work have been modernized and adapted to reflect the world of today, so too, the time has come to bid the fondest of farewells as we seek to be disciplined and forward looking in our allocation of funding.”
Chalmers noted that Charles, 76, signed off on the decision and explained that there will be discussions regarding “a long-term home where some particularly historic elements” of the train will be displayed.
The announcement came after The Firm released their financial report for 2024-2025. The report explained that the decision to decommission the train came after comparing “the cost associated with the storage and maintenance of the Royal Train versus the level of usage.” There would also be a “significant level of investment” to keep the train in operation. (The latest series of major improvements made on the train took place in 1980.)
How Much Do the Royal Family Members Really Make? Salary Breakdown
Maintenance for the train is already under contract until 2027 but will not be renewed. The royal family will continue to use the Royal Train until it is decommissioned.
The late Queen Elizabeth II used the Royal Train as her preferred method of transportation until her death in 2022. Charles, meanwhile, has only taken a trip on the train twice this year — and it’s been pretty costly. The trips combined cost an estimated £78,000 (which converts to about $107,000.)
Instead of taking the Royal Train, family members will have an alternative in two new helicopters added to the fleet. While Charles only used the Royal Train twice in the past year, the royal family has traveled by helicopter 141 times and used 55 privately chartered flights, according to Tuesday’s financial report.
The report also noted that the royal family’s cost of travel came in at £4.7 million (about $6.4 million), a near half a million jump from last year’s report. However the total 2024–2025 Sovereign Grant stayed the same, coming in at £86.3 million (about $118 million).

Which Kristin Cavallari, Craig Conover Scene Was Cut From Her Show?
Austen Kroll and Craig Conover’s appearance on Kristin Cavallari’s podcast tour was messy enough — but turns out there was at least one crucial scene that ended up getting cut from the show.
During the Tuesday, July 1, episode of the “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, Cavallari, 38, addressed Kroll, 38, and 36-year-old Conover’s onscreen meltdown.
“On the show, I went back and read our text messages [with Craig], and it didn’t make the show,” she revealed. “I think it didn’t make it because you can’t read someone else’s text messages unless they sign a release for it.”
Cavallari said the messages allowed for her side of the story to be told more, adding, “You kind of needed his end too to really get the gist of it. You get the gist of it from my end, but to really get the full meat and potatoes, you needed his end too.”
Craig Claims Kristin Cavallari ‘Lied’ About Relationships With Him, Austen
For those who haven’t had the chance to watch the last episodes of Cavallari’s Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, the season finale showed the Boston show where Cavallari sat down with Kroll and Conover to address their history. The Southern Charm stars, however, weren’t thrilled with the topics they had to address — and Conover specifically freaked out when his relationship with now-ex-girlfriend Paige DeSorbo was brought up.
“I didn’t know it at the time, but I guess Craig’s team had asked my producers to not bring up Paige, which by the way, that is totally reasonable. That is a very normal ask. I told you guys last week on the podcast that I typically go into interviews and say, ‘I don’t want to talk about my ex-husband [Jay Cutler],’” Cavallari noted on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast. “There are definitely requests that you can make. That is not out of the ordinary. However, he never said anything to me, so I had no idea.”
Cavallari questioned how she was meant to host a conversation with Conover and not bring up the timeline of his relationship with her vs. DeSorbo, 32. (Conover and DeSorbo confirmed their split in late 2024.)
“He did not want me to ask about Paige. Of course I’m going to ask you about Paige. That’s the last time you and I saw each other. I want to know if you lied to me about her. What do you mean I’m not going to bring up Paige?” she continued. ”Imagine if Craig came out on my podcast tour and I said nothing about him being single or about what happened with him, me and Paige? I’m sorry, Craig, but come on.”
Kristin Cavallari's Complete Dating History: Pro Athletes and More
Cavallari questioned whether there was “a little part” of Conover that felt “guilty” about exploring a connection with her before he became official with DeSorbo.
“But that’s all I’m going to say. Craig, I will not read our text messages. I will not call you out any more than just saying you did lie to me,” Cavallari claimed on her podcast.
Conover, for his part, called the show “about the dumbest thing” he’s ever done. In the episode of the E! show, he was seen slamming the podcast and how “the whole thing was Paige.”
“That was crazy,” he added. “I was in a prison box.”
