Christina Haack has vividly criticized a recent statement issued by a representative for Josh Hall.

Haack, 41, who split from Hall, 44, in July 2024, posted her thoughts on the statement — recently obtained from a representative for Hall and published by Us Weekly — via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 14.

The statement, made in response to an interview Haack conducted for the January 9 episode of Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis Live that mentioned the pair’s ongoing divorce, read, “It’s sad Christina must resort to low blows about her ex Josh to promote her new show. She should focus on her new boyfriend and stop talking about Josh. As the great Mariah Carey once sang, ‘Why are you so obsessed with me?’ We wish Christina the best.”

Haack’s Instagram Story regarding the statement read, “I just threw up in my mouth. Quoting a Mariah Carey song is a new low … even for you. Trust me idgaf about Josh’s life. I do however care about his bts tactics. Narcissism at its finest.”

Christina Haack Reveals She and Ex Josh Hall Are Headed for Trial

The post went live one day after Hall went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Stephanie Gabrys. (Hall and Haack, meanwhile, continue to finalize their divorce after being married for two years.)

Haack has used the social media platform to reflect on her state of mind as her divorce proceedings continue. She posted a Story on Monday, January 13, detailing how she was focused on “energy cutting.” The HGTV star added peace sign emojis, in addition to a wolf and a moon, which seemingly referenced the full Wolf Moon in the skies that night.

Earlier that day, Hall posted his own Instagram Story which featured a photo of himself and Gabrys cuddling near a fire pit with mountains looming in the background. “Happy 35th to this real life [angel],” Hall captioned the photo, adding an angel emoji and tagging Gabrys in the post.

Haack and Hall both filed to divorce one another in July last year. According to court documents obtained by Us at the time, Haack — who hired divorce attorney Laura Wasser — requested that neither party receive spousal support and wanted Hall to pay her lawyer fees.

Hall, meanwhile, was seeking spousal support from Haack and asked her to pay his attorney fees.

“[The court hasn’t] ordered me yet but he’s been asking me [for money],” Haack, who is now reportedly dating businessman Christopher LaRocca, alleged in her Radio Andy interview. “I’ve already had to give a little something but then he bought a Bentley. I gave him money to live and he bought a Bentley but he also doesn’t have a job so.”

Haack was previously married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. They share Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9. Haack also shares Hudson, 5, with ex-husband Ant Anstead.

Why David Schwimmer Is Still Traumatized by His 1995 ‘SNL’ Hosting Gig

David Schwimmer has reflected on his unpleasant experience as a guest-host on Saturday Night Live.

During an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Monday, January 13, Schwimmer, 58, recalled the time he was preparing for the 1995 gig amid the height of Friends’ success. (Schwimmer starred as Ross Geller in the comedy series, which launched in 1994.)

Schwimmer, who went to college with Colbert, 60, and studied alongside the TV host as a theatre student, said he made “one big mistake” as the first Friends cast member to be invited to host SNL at the time.

“It was a huge honor … I couldn’t be more excited,” Schwimmer explained. “Friends at that time was shooting on Tuesday nights and we were shooting until sometimes one in the morning, and so I’d fly from L.A. to New York on Wednesday to get there. I really didn’t get to arrive at SNL until Thursday, two days before the Saturday show.”

‘Friends’ Writer Reveals How David Schwimmer Made Her Feel Seen on Set

Schwimmer, who currently appears in the Hulu/Disney+ series Goosebumps: The Vanishing, continued, “When I walked into the writers’ room, the entire writing staff looked at me as if I had just slept with their mom or something. They were not happy to see me and I had no idea [why].”

The actor detailed how he then “somehow got through” the following two days despite being “kind of traumatized” by his colleagues’ reception.

When asked by Colbert how the hosting appearance wound up going, Schwimmer noted, “I don’t remember how it went, to be honest.”

Schwimmer added that the mystifying writers’ reaction was crystalized “years later.” He explained how he “was talking to somebody else who had hosted the show and they said, no, no, no, you’re supposed to show up on a Monday.”

“No one told me and for years, I had no idea why,” he added.

Despite never resolving the mix-up, Schwimmer said he was recently invited to the show’s 50th anniversary event, to be staged next month.

“It’s been 30 years and I’m thinking, well, maybe they forgot that they don’t like me? Or, it’s just some intern that’s tasked with emailing everyone that’s ever hosted, but I don’t know what to do,” Schwimmer said.

Colbert then urged his friend “to go” to the event, telling Schwimmer that he had “worked over there for a bit” and failed to receive an invitation of his own.

“Yeah, but I don’t want to be like Charlie Brown with the football, you know, you show up all eager again and, nope, we don’t want you here,” Schwimmer said. “You want to be my plus one?” (SNL is set to mark its 50th milestone on February 16 with a three-hour live primetime special featuring five decades’ worth of popular cast members and fan-favourite guest-hosts.)

A visibly amused Colbert then accepted Schwimmer’s invitation, cementing it with a firm handshake across his desk.
