Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Adrienne Maloof was one of the first Housewives to be a no-show at a reunion taping, but she hasn’t been the last.
Adrienne opted not to film the sit-down special with her costars in 2013 after Brandi Glanville revealed during season 3 that she used a surrogate to carry her three sons. During the season, Bravo bleeped the word “surrogate” and more details of the situation as Adrienne threatened legal action.
“There was so much going on at the time,” she said on Bravo’s “Daily Dish” podcast in 2020. “When I think back, I think it would’ve been better to just plow through it, get it over with. And I know Lisa may think differently. It’s a little condescending and holier-than-thou. When I look at what I was going through and what she was going through, there’s no comparison. I’m going through a divorce, the whole Brandi and Lisa situation, bringing the things out about my family. I felt like it was almost too much to handle at the time. But in reality, I should’ve plowed through it. I don’t think Lisa would ever say that.”
Lisa, for her part, skipped the 2019 reunion amid season 9’s Puppygate after she was accused of leaking stories to the press about Dorit Kemsley’s dog. The Vanderpump Rules star also stopped filming midseason and quit the series altogether, telling Us Weekly at the time: “I made the decision to leave. It was a very difficult year for me, personally and professionally. The Housewives, it’s just, it’s emotionally too difficult to deal with.”
“Lisa only gets half of her pay for the season if she doesn’t go to the reunion, but she still chose not to go,” a source told Us at the time. “The women get half of their pay before shooting starts and the other half after the reunion. So Lisa lost money.”
A second insider then added, “Housewives don’t get fully paid for the season until it’s over and the reunion has been filmed.”
The SUR owner subsequently confirmed via Twitter that she lost “a lot” of money, adding, “But it wasn’t worth it to me [to go].”

The Grand Dame did not attend The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 reunion taping in January 2025 after choosing to focus on her health.
“Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so was unable to attend the reunion taping today,” Huger’s manager, Ryan Tresdale, said in a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey and are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”
In December 2024, Huger was convicted of DUI, negligent driving and other charges stemming from a Maryland car accident nine months prior.
Jen confirmed she wouldn’t be in attendance at the RHOSLC season 3 reunion taping in December 2022 as she awaited her sentencing for wire fraud charges. (In January 2023, she was ordered to 78 months in prison.)
“On September 14, 2022, I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend the Season 3 reunion. I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members,” she claimed in an Instagram statement at the time. . “Out of nowhere, on November 29, two and a half weeks ago, I was invited to attend. I was elated to learn I would now have a voice at reunion. I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing.”
Jen alleged that the network “found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this ‘storyline.’ That expectation has no regard for me or my family’s well-being; so under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion. I need to focus on the most important thing in my life — my family.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey personality was a no-show at the season 3 reunion. For the first time in Housewives history, production on one season began without a break. So, while season 3 was still airing, Jacqueline was mad over season 4 events.
“The night before the reunion, there was a huge right revolving around Strippergate, and Jacqueline refused to leave her house,” Andy Cohen recalled in the book Not All Diamonds and Rosé. “I was so pissed at her! Furious. … It was so confusing to the audience that we were in the middle of production on season 4 during the season 3 reunion and something happened the night before that was so bad that all of their allegiances shifted. Everyone was so mad at Teresa [Giudice] but they couldn’t explain why because it was a spoiler.”
The RHOBH alum did a separate interview with Cohen for the season 2 reunion amid struggles with substance abuse in 2012.
“When it was clear that it was a real problem, we wanted to be responsible and we didn’t want to put her in a situation where anything could be exacerbated,” Cohen explained in Not All Diamonds and Rosé. “We considered her family and wanted to work with her to get her better. Bravo paid for her rehab.”
She returned for season 3.
The Real Housewives of New York City star wasn’t present for the season 10 reunion in 2018 to check into treatment for alcoholism.
“Bravo supports Luann’s decision to focus on her health,” the network said in a statement at the time. “She is part of the Bravo family and we continue to stand by her as she copes with this challenging situation. At this time, we hope everyone will respect her privacy.”
She returned for season 11.
“Adrienne Maloof's final act as a Housewife is not showing up tonight,” Cohen infamously said during the season 3 taping.
In Not All Diamonds and Rosé, the producer admitted he regretted being “bitchy on air about her not showing up.”
While Adrienne was fired ahead of season 4, producer Alex Baskin noted in the book, “The truth is, had she shown up to the reunion, we would have kept going with her.”
“We knew that if she didn’t come, that meant for sure she was off the show,” Cohen said in Not All Diamonds and Rosé. “That she was deciding to leave the show. I thought — and hoped — that she would come and she’d figure out a way forward with Kyle [Richards].”
While she was done with RHOBH, Lisa continued to work with Bravo on Vanderpump Rules and Peacock on Vanderpump Dogs.
The actress and model appeared on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live on Thursday, January 9, where she opened up about her relationship with Lee, to whom she was married from 1995 to 1998.
“I mean, we used to talk a lot more,” said Anderson, 57. “Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now.”
Anderson and Lee share two sons, Brandon Thomas, 28, and Dylan Jagger, 27. She added that with Dylan now engaged, she hopes the two will be on better terms going forward.
“My youngest son is engaged and we’re gonna have grandkids together,” she said. “It’ll be OK, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.”
Anderson and Lee, 62, began dating in December 1995 and married just four days later in Cancún, Mexico. When they returned to the United States, Anderson moved in with Lee, whose home was being renovated at the time. An electrician who had been fired then stole a sex tape of the two, leading to a $10 million lawsuit to try and stop its dissemination. Lee admitted that the now-infamous ordeal put a strain on their relationship.
“Not being able to do anything … about [the tape] was adding so much frustration and stress to our relationship,” he said in a 2014 episode of 20/20. “It was just consuming us.”
In 1998, Lee was arrested for felony spousal battery and was sentenced to six months in jail as Anderson filed for divorce. She called her divorce the “hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life,” in her 2023 memoir, Love, Pamela.
Anderson and Lee briefly reunited after Lee’s release, but the relationship did not last.
In the time since, Anderson has been married four additional times. She and Kid Rock tied the knot in 2006 before getting divorced just a year later. She was then married to professional poker player Rick Salomon twice, from 2007 to 2008 when they had their marriage annulled, then from 2014 to 2015. Anderson married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst in 2020 and they divorced in 2022.
As for Lee, the Mötley Crüe drummer married actress Brittany Furlan in 2019.
Anderson further explained her feelings toward Lee in her memoir, writing about the importance of having him as a coparent.
“Tommy is the father of my kids and I’m forever grateful,” she wrote. “My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever in love.”

In a separate Instagram Story, Bravo posted a photo of Cohen’s hand touching Bryant’s freshly manicured nails. “Holding space for the #RHOP reunion,” the network wrote. “Filming now.”
In December 2024, Huger, 61, was convicted of DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and failure to notify authorities of an address change, according to a report from Fox5 DC. The report also stated she was acquitted of one charge of reckless driving.
After the guilty verdict, the police body cam footage from Huger’s arrest was also released.
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,” Huger’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told People in a statement at the time. “We continue to reserve Mrs. Huger’s right to an appeal and intend to fully pursue justice on her behalf. We appreciate your support and prayers for Mrs. Huger and her family at this time.”
The reality star — whose nickname is the Grand Dame — is scheduled to be sentenced on Wednesday, January 29, and faces up to two years behind bars.
Throughout season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Huger said she has been limited about what she can say about her case that stemmed from a Maryland car accident in March 2024.

“I didn’t make anything when I was there. I had a salary and that was kind of it,” O’Malley alleged during a January 2025 appearance on the “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” podcast. “I had the option to leave, and I took it.”
O’Malley further claimed that former “PlanBri Uncut” podcast cohost LaPaglia was paid “a lot of bit more” than she was.
“I never made any money off [the podcast tour]. Barstool took it,” she alleged. “I also didn’t care. I was happy to be there. I was stoked to just have the job.”

The Grace O’Malley Reveal
After O’Malley’s podcast claims, her former boss (and Barstool founder) Dave Portnoyshared the numbers. He said in a January 2025 TikTok video that O’Malley’s base salary was $175,000 a year and she earned 70 percent of “anything” that was sold on their personal social media accounts.

“She got another $75,000 in 2024 that way,” Portnoy continued. “[Her interview] could have been cut up, misconstrued a little bit, but it does bother me when people make it seem like they’re not getting paid fairly. I think we treated — as I’ve said from the beginning — Grace great.”
Portnoy addressed the pay gap with LaPaglia as well. “Bri was a much bigger personality,” he continued.
Portnoy explained that once Barstool makes back the personality’s base salary, they “split every dollar fifty-fifty” going forward. “I just don’t like it when people make it seem like we scam our creators, because we f—ing don’t,” he added.
KFC’s Promotion
Kevin Clancy (known to Stoolies as KFC) was named Barstool Sports’ GM of Comedy in July 2023. He announced the news on his “KFC Radio” podcast at the time and shared that the career move came with a pay bump — but he didn’t share specifics.
Clancy explained that he left his corporate job for a full-time position at Barstool after knowing that he would get paid “enough to live,” which was $50,000 at the time.
“I think I started at like 50 and then, whenever I got to like 100 grand, I think I was like, ‘Wow I’m making six figures to do this,’” he said. Elsewhere in the episode, Clancy said that his promotion did not warrant a contract negotiation.
“I’m also the only a—–e in the world who started a job with more responsibility without getting a new contract for it,” he quipped.
Clancy likely makes a lot more now as one of the longest-running personalities at the company.
‘Chicks in the Office’ Talk Contract Negotiations
When Ria Ciuffo and Fran Mariano, who host the “Chicks in the Office” podcast, appeared on the “Trading Secrets” podcast in 2021, they offered an Inside Barstool take on the company’s contract negotiations.

Mariano said their second Barstool contract (in September 2018) was a huge moment for the podcast hosts.
“It only took one year for us to get a new contract that was double the amount we started at,” she shared. “When we heard the number the second time, we were like, ‘Oh this is working.’”
Ciuffo said their contracts were always “performance-based” by looking at the success of the “Chicks in the Office” brand as a whole. She also noted that all the deals that their brand gets goes through the Barstool sales department.
“I feel like we are compensated through our salary,” Ciuffo said. “I feel stable in the way I am getting paid.”
The ‘Call Her Daddy’ of It All
The year was 2020 and “Call Her Daddy” was hosted by two people — our now-single father Alex Cooper and former cohost Sofia Franklyn. Regular listeners of the podcast wondered if there was drama with the show when the women appeared to be speaking in code. Then, the truth came out.
To spare you from every detail all these years later, one of the issues was Cooper and Franklyn having contract disputes with Barstool before their friendship unraveled.
Cooper told listeners during a May 2020 podcast episode that she and Franklyn signed a “three-year deal” making $75,000 their first year, $85,000 the second year and $100,000 the third. They got a raise during the first year together, then Cooper got an additional pay bump for handling the producing side of the podcast as well. (She did not share this with Franklyn.)

Following the success of the podcast, the women started asking for more money. However, Franklyn’s then-boyfriend (who eventually started shopping the podcast around to other networks) allegedly convinced the podcast hosts that they should be asking for $1 million. Portnoy heard about the show being shopped around — which led to the infamous “rooftop meeting” between the Barstool Sports founder, Cooper and Franklyn.
The deal they were offered was $500,000 and ownership of the show. Cooper was on board and Franklyn was not — which is how they split. Cooper stayed at Barstool until June 2021 and went on to sign massive deals with Spotify and SiriusXM.
“This morning, Sosa woke up and was really struggling to breathe. I made the decision to pack my family up and come to Palm Springs, strictly based on the air quality,” Kent, 34, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Thursday, January 9. “This is where we will stay until L.A. is safe again.”
Kent is primarily based in Los Angeles with daughters Ocean, 3, and Sosa, 4 months.
Wildfires in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood broke out on Tuesday, January 7, quickly devastating many buildings. Many celebrities lost their homes in the natural disaster as others sought refuge outside the city limits following evacuation orders.
“This is one of the most devastating situations I have ever seen,” Kent added on Thursday. “At this point, if you were not directly affected, you know someone who has lost everything. I’m obsessing over how we could be so underprepared. My heart is shattered for my community. Neighborhoods that people have called home for decades, now nonexistent. It is unimaginable.”
According to Kent, she has “not been directly affected” and is trying to “feel grateful for that.”
“It’s hard because of what I’m seeing other people go through,” the Bravo star wrote. “In times like this, all you want is to go home for comfort and 1,000s of people don’t have their safe place anymore. There are looters, lack of water and lack of preparation. I’m sad, but I’m angry.”

While Kent vowed to “save that rant for a later date,” she did express her gratitude for first responders.
“For now, all I want to do is say thank you to our firefighters and first responders. Our city’s heroes,” Kent concluded on Thursday. “And to everyone affected — I know you feel alone. You are not alone.”
Kent shares Ocean with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett and gave birth to Sosa in September 2024. After utilizing a sperm donor to conceive her second child, Kent underwent intrauterine insemination (IUI).
“The outside world is funny. Not everybody is as progressive as we are, and I just felt like, ‘OK, I’m bringing this baby into the world because I so badly want it to be here. But I also want to eliminate as many questions as I possibly can,’” Kent said on a March 2024 episode of her “Give Them Lala” podcast. “[I wanted her to] have this same aesthetic look as me, my mom, Ocean. The world is already tough when you come from a totally normal family. I don’t want to make it any tougher for them.”

Notre Dame football head coach Marcus Freeman has had his wife, Joanna Freeman, by his side for every step of his gridiron journey.
Marcus, 38, and Joanna met during Marcus’ time at The Ohio State University, where he was a star linebacker from 2004 to 2008. According to Yahoo! Sports, the two were introduced by Marcus’ best friend, Calvin Pruitt, while Marcus and Joanna lived in the same Columbus apartment complex.
At the time, Joanna was studying at nearby Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. She would go on to become a news reporter at WBNS-Channel 10 in Columbus before she and Marcus started their family together.
Marcus was drafted in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears — and would later sign to the practice squads of the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans that same year — though he never saw any NFL game action.
His coaching career began as a graduate assistant at Ohio State before seeing stops at Kent State University, Purdue University and the University of Cincinnati. Marcus was named Notre Dame’s head coach in December 2021.
Along the way, Joanna has been there for all of it — including the Freemans becoming the parents of six children together: son Vinny, 17, daughter Siena, 12, son Gino, 11, son Nico, 9, daughter Capri, 7, and son Rocco, 6.

Marcus celebrated the couple’s 10th wedding anniversary with a slideshow of images from their life together.

2021
The entire Freeman family was on hand when Marcus signed a contract to become the 30th head coach in Notre Dame history.

Marcus celebrated Mother’s Day with a picture of Joanna and his mother, Chong Freeman.

Joanna and all six kids celebrated on the field with Marcus after Notre Dame defeated Georgia in the Sugar Bowl, earning them a trip to the College Football Playoff semifinals.
“Here’s the thing about addicts: we know each other. Whether we’ve got 10 days clean or 10 years, there’s this unspoken recognition. A vibe, a nod, a ‘yep, I see you.’ It’s instant,” Lassner, 58, began via his Instagram Story on Thursday, January 9. “tWitch never gave me that. At all. He carried light, joy, and kindness in a way that made people feel safe and seen. Every day his energy wasn’t the chaos of addiction — it was the calm that so many of us fight for.”
Lassner continued, “Obviously, as an addict, I know about keeping secrets and bulls—- the world about who we are. I’m not saying there weren’t maybe some things about his life I was completely missing. But if there were, he was as good at hiding them as anyone I’ve ever seen. Ever.”
Lassner noted that his heart has “never stopped hurting” for Boss’ family, including Holker, 36, and their three kids. (Boss and Holker, who wed in 2013, shared daughter Zaia, 5, and son Maddox, 8. He was the adoptive father of Holker’s eldest daughter, Wesley, 16.)
“I’m not here to weigh in on what is right or wrong, or what is true or not,” Lassner concluded. “But I am here to tell you that the man I knew for many years was an absolute king and I think he deserves to be remembered that way.”
Lassner’s statement came one day after Holker received backlash for revealing new and personal details about her late husband’s alleged drug addiction and childhood sexual abuse in her new book, memoir, This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light. (Boss died by suicide at age 40 in December 2022.)

Holker went on to release a statement explaining why she included those details in her book. “To fans of Stephen and our family and friends, I want to be clear that my only intention in writing the book is to share my own story as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people,” Holker wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, January 8. “Just like you, I never really knew what happened, and even as I am trying to put the pieces together I will never really know.”
In her message, Holker said that she hoped readers would see she intended to “celebrate the love and life” she and Boss had with their family.
“I hope that by sharing our full story maybe I can help someone else who might see themselves or a loved one in Stephen,” Holker continued. “In sharing I hope that maybe they can catch some of the red flags that I missed before it’s too late.”
While writing the memoir, Holker claimed she spoke with several mental health nonprofits for the past two years to ensure she accurately detailed the subject. Holker added that she plans to give proceeds from the book to the foundation she created in Boss’ memory.
“My hope is that that we won’t need to lose another husband, brother, father, or friend to suicide,” she said. “I believe that if Stephen were able to choose, he would choose to have his story told if it meant saving even one life. Much love to all those who have supported our family these many years.”
One day later, Boss’ mom, Connie Boss Alexander, slammed Holker. “Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss,” Boss Alexander wrote via Instagram on Thursday. “The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”
Boss Alexander said she had “remained quiet and away from the public eye to protect my family” for the last two years.
“My primary focus has been on healing and attempting to remain connected to my grandchildren,” she continued. “But when I read these dreadful claims about my baby, our beloved Stephen, I realized I could not stay silent any longer. Our family will ensure his name and memory are protected, and we are committed to defending his honor.”
In the comment section of the post, Lassner replied, “Sending you so much love.” Us Weekly reached out to Holker’s rep for comment at the time.

Bronwyn Newport turns to the best when it comes to style inspo.
Newport, 39, rocked a familiar Carolina Herrera dress while filming the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 reunion. As Bravo revealed the cast’s looks on Thursday, January 9, Newport explained that the cherry red gown was originally worn by Karlie Kloss at the 2021 Met Gala.
“[It was] tailored down for me to wear/buy,” she told Bravo, noting the piece was “not a loan.”
The dazzling gown featured a plunging neckline with floral ruffles liming her arms, a mini skirt and a sweeping train. Just like Kloss, 32, Newport accessorized with the same silky clutch Kloss carried on the red carpet.
To make the look her own, Newport styled the piece with strappy red Valentino pumps and diamond rings and earrings from Melissa Kaye.

Newport’s glam perfectly tied her look together thanks to makeup artist Sophia Vallejos, who crafted a full beat including long lashes, nude eyeshadow, rosy and contoured cheeks and a pepper-red pout. Her brown hair was parted down the middle and styled in a chin-length blowout by Jacob Rozenberg.
When Kloss wore the outfit, she sparkled with dangling diamond earrings, nude nails and black pointed-toe heels.
Newport later took to Instagram to gush over wearing Kloss’ gown. “So grateful to [designer] Wes Gordon and @carolinaherrera for taking Karlie Kloss’ actual Met Gala dress out of their archive and tailoring and selling to me for both this big day and my own collection.”
She continued: “The dress on the Met Gala carpet was meant to symbolize America’s flower, the rose at the In America: A Lexicon of Fashion event. For me, it was a symbol of my hope for blossoming friendships in future after watching myself throughout the season, as long as we can all get past each other’s thorns! I also wanted to bookend my first season the way I started it… in big red shoulders! As always… all my best looks come from @carlyazell and @modaoperandi.”
Red seemed to be a major trend for the RHOSLC cast, with Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose also wearing the hot color.
