Big Brother’s Bayleigh and Swaggy C Moved to Dubai in Luxurious House

2 July 2025 at 11:09

Big Brother couple Bayleigh Dayton and Chris “Swaggy C” Williams decided to move their family to Dubai — and their new house is definitely one of a kind.

In June, Dayton, 32, took to TikTok to show off her and Swaggy C’s home that is still in the works.

“It’s time for an empty house tour for all of you that have been asking. Yes, we do have an elevator because this is a three-story villa,” Dayton said in the video, showing off the elevator, bathroom and office on the first floor that is very modern looking. “It’s really hard for me to even tell you guys how much we love this villa … but when we walked through it for the first time, we just knew that it was ours.”

Dayton noted that they loved it so much right off the bat because the space “was expansive and super impressive.”

“There were actually more rooms than we knew what to do with and that’s rare for us,” she explained, showing the view of the backyard with a grassy area and a pool. “And there’s a little horse drinking the water … and that’s how I knew it was mine. Growing up, horses were my favorite animal. … Anyways, there’s a little Harry Potter nook then we’re gonna make our way into our mudroom. I’ll probably set up the dogs’ apartment there as well.”

Dayton then showed off their potential dining space or family area that is just so big that they “don’t know what” to do with yet and their “closed off” kitchen.

“And then on the other side of this is the maid’s quarters slash nanny’s quarters, which we love because they have their own little apartment,” she added before showing off the laundry room and concluding the first part of the tour.

In a part two TikTok video, Dayton took her followers to the second level, which is the “living” area.

“This is actually going to be my husband’s office. We’re going to get some doors in here and just give him the space,” she explained before moving into the “children’s wing” where both of her kids, Alora, 3, and 1-year-old son Christopher will live. The kids both get their own giant rooms with their own bathrooms — and a big closet, which Dayton says she may use.

After showing off the children’s wing, Dayton moved to her and her husband’s part of the house, which has two rooms. While one of the rooms will be used as Dayton’s office, the other will be their bedroom, which features the closet of her “dreams.”

“It’s so nice. It’s just like a personal boutique,” she gushed. “I just feel like the interior was super thought through. The lighting is beautiful.”

The third floor of the house is the rooftop, which Dayton says has the “most potential.”

“When you come out, there’s this little lobby and then there’s another room that I feel like should be a salon,” she said. “On the other side, it’s the guest wing. … It gives very much hotel suite vibes.”

Lastly, Dayton showed off the outdoor roof space that she said they’re going to “turn into a rooftop gym.”

“We are a fitness family and mama is just starting to get her pink back so she’s going to be living out here,” she told her followers before telling them to “stay tuned as they turn this house into a home.”

Dayton and Swaggy C, 30, who tied the knot in 2019, rose to fame on season 20 of Big Brother, which aired in 2018. Dayton currently works as a flight attendant while Swaggy C is a day trader.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jen Affleck Gives Birth to 3rd Baby

2 July 2025 at 11:04

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck and her husband, Zac Affleck, are officially outnumbered after the arrival of their third baby.

“Baby Penelope is here & she is perfect,” Jen, 26, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, July 2. “Going unmedicated was truly the most painful but empowering experience of my life. I could not have done it without Zac and my supportive doula! I’m so grateful and so happy that Penny is earth side now.”

Jen and Zac, 28, tied the knot in June 2019 and previously welcomed daughter Nora in November 2021 and son Lucas in July 2023.

In February, the couple announced that they were expecting their third baby.

“I’ve always dreamed of a big family, and seeing that dream come true is both exciting and fulfilling,” Jen told People at the time. “It can be daunting to think about raising three babies while pursuing my career, but I want to show women and mothers that they can achieve anything they set their minds to, no matter how unrealistic it may seem.”

Jen revealed in the interview that her pregnancy was unexpected.

“I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us,” she said. “We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”

Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' Jen and Zac Affleck's Relationship Timeline

Jen and Zac’s relationship was featured prominently on season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which debuted on Hulu in September 2024. Some fans speculated that the pair were headed for divorce after their marital woes played out on the show.

“Season 1 took a toll, not only on my marriage but also on my mental health,” she told People. “There were many dark days. There’s so much more to our story than people realize. While I’m not sharing all the details online, it’s been essential for our relationship and mental health to keep our journey private until we’re ready to talk about it.”

While Jen’s plate was full during her third pregnancy, she expressed her unwavering gratitude for her growing family.

“Pregnancy is already incredibly challenging both mentally and physically, and with everything else I was juggling, there’s no doubt this has been my hardest pregnancy yet,” she continued. “However, those moments, along with carrying this baby, have helped me realize what truly matters most. I’ve learned that help and resources are available if you seek them. This journey has profoundly changed me and shaped the person, mother and friend I aspire to be.”

Prior to announcing her pregnancy, Jen gave an update on where she and Zac stood after he received backlash for his treatment of her during season 1 of the reality show.

“I definitely think it was the best thing to happen to our relationship. While watching the show, a lot of people are going to think maybe this would break our relationship apart. But if anything, it did the opposite,” Jen exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “Being on camera and having those moments happen made us take a step back and actually look at a relationship and make us just see what we have to change.”

Inside Diddy's Dwindling Empire: How Much Money Has He Lost?

2 July 2025 at 11:02

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ empire — including everything from record labels to liquor brands to media and television — floundered following multiple high-profile lawsuits and his September 2024 arrest.

Prosecutors argued Diddy’s lavish wealth as a reason to deny him bail, as a judge ruled in September 2024, claiming that it makes him a potential flight risk with the ability to flee the country undetected. However, according to a report from The New York Times, published the following month, the disgraced music mogul’s riches may be turning to rags before his eyes.

“I firmly believe that he was at one point a billionaire,” journalist and former Forbes editor Zack O’Malley Greenburg, who studied Diddy’s finances, told the outlet. “I firmly believe that he is not now.” A report from Forbes in June 2024 estimated Diddy’s net worth at $400 million, down from $740 million in 2019. (Us Weekly reached out to Diddy’s representatives for comment at the time of original publication.)

As for his properties, Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion is on the market for $61.5 million, while his Miami Beach home was appraised for $48.5 million. His lawyers had hoped to use the Miami Beach home as collateral when they proposed a $50 million bond in September 2024, which was rejected by the court.

Breaking Down Diddy’s Legal Troubles and Accusations: A Timeline

Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges after he was denied bail. He has been in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us in September 2024. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

Diddy’s trial began in May and lasted seven weeks. The jury heard from numerous witnesses, including Cassie, Kid Cudi and Danity Kane member Dawn Richard. In July, Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, which means he faces a maximum sentence of 20 years. The disgraced music mogul was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Following the verdict on July 2, Diddy’s attorney asked for the rapper to be allowed to return to his Miami Beach home on Star Island on a $1 million bond that would also allow Diddy to travel to New York, Los Angeles and Florida.

Keep reading for a closer look inside Diddy’s dwindling empire:

Ciroc and DeLeón Partnerships

A major branch of Diddy’s businesses was his partnership with liquor company Diageo, through which he began promoting its vodka brand Ciroc nearly 15 years ago. After about five years into their partnership, he and Diageo jointly purchased DeLeón tequila.

In 2023, however, Combs sued Diageo with accusations that the company was typecasting both Ciroc and DeLeón as “Black brands” which were only marketed in “urban areas.” Diageo denied these allegations. A Diageo executive wrote in the court filing that the company had paid Diddy close to $1 billion over the course of their partnership.

At the time, Diddy’s ex girlfriend Cassie (full name Cassie Ventura), whom he dated for 11 years until 2018, filed a lawsuit against him with accusations of rape and abuse, which Diddy denied. The lawsuit has since been settled for an undisclosed sum and Cassie’s legal team claimed that Diddy had offered “eight figures to silence her,” which she rejected.

Another aspect of Diddy’s dispute with Diageo was whether he should continue to represent DeLeón, with Diageo’s lawyers arguing it would be “impossible” for him to “continue to be the ‘face’ of anything.”

However, Diddy and the liquor company inevitably resolved their disputes and the lawsuits were dismissed. As of 2024, Diageo is the sole owner of Ciroc. Diddy also sold his half of DeLeón for about $200 million, per The New York Times.

Revolt Media Company

In 2024, it was reported that Diddy had sold his large stake in Revolt TV for an undisclosed amount of money to an anonymous buyer after his Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by federal agents on March 25 of that year. He had stepped down from his role as chairman of the media company in November 2023.

Diddy’s Music Catalog

Beyond liquor and television, Diddy made a name for himself in the music industry both as a producer and rapper, credited with the discovery of artists like the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige and Usher through his record label Bad Boy Entertainment.

However, the value of his music catalog has been shrinking over the years and is no longer generating much income for the mogul, partly because Diddy no longer has the rights to some of his most popular records. In October 2024, Billboard estimated that Diddy makes around $1.25 million from recordings and music publishing rights per year.

According to The New York Times, if Diddy ever chose to sell his music catalog, it would be extremely difficult, with the value only lessened by the negative publicity generated from his legal troubles.

How Does Iain Stirling Balance Narrating the 'Love Island' UK and USA?

2 July 2025 at 10:59

As if watching Love Island USA six days a week wasn’t grueling enough, can you imagine being narrator Iain Stirling, who has to keep up with the UK version as well?

Stirling, 37, broke down his summer schedule, which consists of watching footage from both Love Island USA and Love Island UK in order to offer his commentary in voiceover form.

“It’s pretty full-on,” he told People on Tuesday, July 1. “I do the UK one [from] 12:00 till about 5:00, roughly speaking, but there might be changes after that.”

Stirling, who shares 4-year-old daughter Stevie with wife Laura Whitmore, then prioritizes “dad duties” before returning to his tough work schedule. (Whitmore used to be a presenter on Love Island.)

Behind-the-Scenes Secrets You Didn’t Know About ‘Love Island’

“So it’s like bath time, dinner time, bedtime. That’s until 7:30, and then I have dinner,” he noted. Stirling explained that he starts narrating the USA version at 8:30 p.m and that will take until 2:30 a.m. “This is all U.K. time.”

Stirling continued: “At 2:30, I log off and I go to bed and then whenever my little one wakes up, I get up. We start quite early for the US one. So the UK one, we get the show, but it’s, like, the final edited show. We just do our jokes, it’s fine.”

According to the comedian, it has helped having Love Island USA footage sent to him while it is “still getting edited and changed.” He also pointed out the major time difference between where he lives in the U.K. and the villa in Fiji where Love Island USA is filmed.

“We have to start early [on USA], otherwise I’d be up till 7:30 in the morning and I would literally never sleep,” he continued while praising the “great team” that has helped him. Stirling named his cowriter Mark on Love Island UK who is “great and he’s been doing it for 10 years.”

As for Love Island USA, Stirling will write his narrations with “an amazing New York comic called Caroline Hanes and then a British comic called Steve Bugeja.”

“I’ve got a team around me, which is great because, the first couple of weeks, everyone just has to tell me who everyone’s names are, because I’ve got two shows worth of people in my head,” he shared. “All the girls are very similar [on Love Island], so it’s really hard to tell the girls apart [while] the American guys and the UK guys have different vibes.”

Love Island’s Most Controversial Contestants and Moments Through the Years

Stirling has been the narrator for Love Island UK since its premiere in 2015. He joined Love Island USA in 2022 and quickly became a fan-favorite presence as viewers tune in daily — except Wednesday — over the summer to watch single people fall in love while locked away in a luxury villa in Fiji.

Stirling recently made headlines when he addressed the overwhelming reactions — both positive and negative — to season 7 of Love Island USA.

“Lots of you are saying lots of nice things about Love Island this year. I do really appreciate it. But there’s just one little thing I would like to clear up,” he said in a June TikTok while clarifying he has “absolutely no control” over what happens in the villa. “If they asked me to say it, I will say it. So please stop messaging me and asking me. I can’t. I wish I could help you out, but I can’t.”

New episodes of Love Island USA are released six days a week — except for Wednesdays — on Peacock.

Candace Owens Subpoenas Herself After Blake Lively Claims, Shares Receipts

2 July 2025 at 10:55

Candace Owens reacted to allegedly receiving a subpoena from Blake Lively’s legal team.

“I am, in a word, elated,” Owens, 36, quipped on the Tuesday, July 1, episode of her eponymous podcast. “I am, in another word, honored. It feels like a graduation ceremony of sorts for me and all of my podcast listeners. It’s beautiful [and] it’s reflective. We have had many times together going through this lawsuit. [There have been] many nights that I spent marking the lawsuit up with my pen, making little notations, stickies [and] trying to comprehend everything that was happening.”

Lively, 37, named her It Ends With Us costar and director, Justin Baldoni, in a lawsuit late last year, claiming that he sexually harassed her and tried to destroy her reputation on the set of the 2024 film. Baldoni, 41, vehemently denied the accusations before filing a $400 million defamation suit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Lively and Reynolds, 48, denied the claims before the filing was dismissed last month.

TMZ reported earlier on Tuesday that Lively’s legal team sent subpoenas to Owens, Perez Hilton and Andy Signore, requesting that they hand over any communications with Baldoni’s camp. (One of Owens’ social media posts commenting on the drama was mentioned in the lawsuit, though the political commentator previously claimed that she wasn’t involved in the litigation.)

Blake Lively Subpoenas Justin Baldoni’s Phone Records Amid Legal Drama

According to Owens, she only found out about the subpoena through the media and has still yet to be formally served.

“I am reading about my life live because I haven’t received anything,” she claimed on her podcast. “As of right now, I still cannot tell you anything [about the documents] because no process server has arrived at our door. … How could us covering the lawsuit that has already been filed [mean we’re involved]? We have nothing to do with your lawsuit. It’s our right to cover pop culture [and] whatever it is that we want as reporters.”

Owens further stressed that she “has nothing to hide” and decided to unofficially subpoena herself while recording her podcast.

“I was like, ‘Let me go through my phone and see,’” Owens said. “I’m going to show you guys the first time I’ve ever even texted Blake Lively, like, the actual name ‘Blake Lively’ in my phone.”

Owens held up screenshots of her text messages, revealing that she first mentioned Lively’s name in a January 2019 conversation with an unnamed friend.

“I mentioned Blake Lively, and I have two eye-heart faces, like, I’m making love eyes at her,” Owens said. “That doesn’t seem like a smear campaign from 2019. And then, behind that, the first time that I use her name is [a message] on August 20, 2024.”

Candace Owens Reacts to Being 'Name-Checked' in 'It Ends With Us' Lawsuit

Owens said that she was “looking at rings” with another pal, mentioning that Lively’s pink diamond rock was “flawless.”

“I have not spoken about Blake Lively from 2019 to August 20, 2024, and here is [another] message chain between me and Skylar, my producer,” Owens said. “I write, ‘Monologue will be on DNC.’ Then I write, ‘Shmuley will be a story.’ … As an afterthought, ‘We should cover Blake Lively, as well. Very viral at the moment.’ Then, I just say, ‘Let’s do top three or five cringe,’ and we end up doing an episode of the top five cringe moments from the DNC because they were just weird.”

Owens stressed that she did not further mention Lively aside from those brief instances.

“I am just so offended, more than anything, that someone would think that I would accept payment to say something that I don’t believe in or that I would accept payment to say things without telling my followers that,” she said. “I am beholden to no one [and] I just say exactly what I am thinking at any moment of the day.”

Jinger Duggar Says Returning to Family's 'Big House' Feels 'Strange'

2 July 2025 at 10:54

Jinger Duggar recapped a “wild” visit to her family’s home in Arkansas with husband Jeremy Vuolo and their kids.

During the Wednesday, July 2, episode of their “Jinger & Jeremy” podcast, the couple opened up about making the “last-minute” trip with daughters Felicity, 6, and Evangeline, 4, and son Finn, 3 months.

“It is so exciting, I love going back to visit,” Jinger, 31, explained. “And at the same time, it’s overwhelming … because we live away. There are a couple siblings who live away now, just a few. And when you live away from family and then you come back, everybody wants to see you. Everybody wants to connect with you, and it can be so tough to juggle all that.”

Jinger — the sixth of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar‘s 19 children — noted that “trying to coordinate stuff” has become even more complicated with the addition of so many nieces and nephews. (41 in total, according to the TLC alum.)

Jinger Duggar Says Her Daughters ‘Forget Half the Names’ of Their Cousins

While the logistics can be tricky, Jinger was grateful for the time she did spend with her family. “A ton of people went to the Big House and our kids got to see all the animals that they have there,” she recalled, referring to Jim Bob and Michelle’s home. “That was super fun.”

Jeremy, 37, pointed out that it had been “a long time” since they were at the Big House. Jinger added that “it’s wild” to realize how much has changed with her family since she was growing up.

“When we first walked in … everything’s clean,” she said. “It’s like, perfectly clean. Typically, when you walk into the Big House, it’s kinda messy. We would clean the house every night and it would be spotless, ready to go. But when you walk in at, like, 2 p.m. on a weekday and the house is clean, I thought, ‘OK, this is a different season of life.’ Because you have maybe five kids who live there now and they’re all grown … so that’s strange.”

Even Jinger’s daughter was surprised. “She’s like, ‘Where are all the kids?'” Jinger continued. “And [my sister] Johannah started laughing, she’s like, ‘We are the kids.'”

Jinger Duggar Makes Rare Comment About Growing Up With Cousin Amy

Jinger noted that her youngest sibling, Josie, still “feels like a kid” since she’s only 15, but everyone else has grown up. “It’s a different time,” she remarked. “When you walk in, it was quiet [and] clean. … They have a big farm now. Tons of chickens, goats, sheep, cattle, horses. It’s amazing.”

While Jinger revealed she didn’t step foot in her old bedroom during this most recent visit, Jeremy said he showed their daughters “where mommy would sleep.”

“It was fun stepping back into that old property and just seeing the family,” Jinger continued. “I think my younger siblings, that’s the part that’s really fun. I love seeing how they’ve grown and matured, what they’re into now. Because when I left, that was a long time ago … and those little kids are all grown up. It’s hard for me to picture the little kids as teenagers and as adults now. It’s kinda wild.”

Former Prosecutors Downplay Likelihood of Diddy Getting Max Jail Time

2 July 2025 at 10:44

Three prominent legal analysts offered insight on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorneys’ sentencing recommendations following the verdict in his federal prosecution.

Diddy faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years behind bars following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday, July 2. A 12-person jury acquitted Diddy on the three arguably more serious charges — racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. The next step in the trial is for both the defense and prosecution to submit their sentencing recommendations to the court.

Jennifer Biedel, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York who is not connected to Diddy’s case, told Us Weekly that at sentencing, “The judge is required by federal statute to consider several factors.”

“[The factors include] the history and characteristics of Sean Combs, the nature and seriousness of the offense for which he was convicted and the need to promote respect for the law and to prevent Sean Combs and others from committing similar crimes in the future,” explained Biedel, who has prosecuted and defended sex crimes, represented Jeffrey Epstein survivors and advised institutions including Penn State during the Jerry Sandusky investigation.

Every Celebrity Mentioned During the Diddy Trial: Madonna, Prince and More

“The judge will also look to the federal sentencing guidelines as a factor,” Biedel, who now practices at Dykema, added. “While it is not mandatory that the judge give a defendant a sentence that is within the guidelines, sentences in [the Southern District of New York] typically are near the low end of the guidelines range, barring some evidence of aggravating factors. Here, a rough estimate of that guidelines range is around two to three years, but that could increase to around five to six years if Sean Combs has a serious criminal history.”

Mark Chutkow, a former federal prosecutor who previously led the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Detroit, where he handled trafficking and racketeering cases, also spoke to Us about the verdict.

“The prostitution charges were the least serious of the counts in the indictment,” said Chutkow, who is not affiliated with the Diddy case. “While each has a 10-year statutory maximum, which could be imposed consecutively for a possible 20-year sentence, it is unlikely that the court would impose such a high sentence given the acquittal on the more serious charges. When imposing a sentence, the court will consider the fact that the prostitution charges did not involve a criminal enterprise nor allegations of force, fraud or coercion.”

NBC News legal analyst Misty Marris believes that Diddy’s legal team will likely request that he serve no more time behind bars, taking into account time served since his arrest in New York last September, while the prosecution is expected to seek a sentence much closer to the maximum of 20 years imprisonment.

Before Judge Arun Subramanian makes a final decision, a probation board will review the verdict and make a sentencing recommendation. The board’s suggestions will take into account Diddy’s behavior since his incarceration at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center and the fact that this is a first-time offense for him.

“The judge is really limited in those sentencing guidelines,” Marris told NBC News’ Laura Jarrett. “There’s discretion up to that 10 years [per charge], but they’re going to use those guidelines in order to really pin down what would be appropriate under the circumstances.”

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo already asked Judge Subramanian to release the hip-hop mogul on a $1 million bond today so that he can return home to Miami. Agnifilo insisted that any member of Diddy’s family was willing to sign the legally binding bond order.

The attorney clarified that Diddy has already lost access to his private plane and would be “nothing short of a fool” if he violated any court orders, reported CNN.

“He treasures, I assure you, the opportunity that he has been given, and he will not run afoul of anything this court imposes on him,” Agnifilo vowed.

How Long Will Diddy Be in Jail? His Possible Sentence Explained

Judge Subramanian is expected to make his decision on Diddy’s potential release following a 1 p.m. ET deadline for his lawyers to formally submit their request.

Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Subramanian.

Wednesday’s verdict followed two days of jury deliberation. The jury previously indicated on Tuesday, July 1, that they’d reached a verdict on four of the five counts but were deadlocked on the racketeering charge. Judge Subramanian instructed the jury to continue deliberating on Wednesday, and they ultimately reached a verdict.

Diddy entered a not guilty plea to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution following his arrest in New York in September 2024. The subsequent trial was built around testimony from Diddy’s former girlfriend Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) and an unnamed Jane Doe.

After Wednesday’s verdict was announced, Cassie’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor credited her with having “the courage to file her civil complaint” against Diddy in November 2023. Cassie filed a lawsuit against Diddy accusing him of sexual and physical abuse throughout their relationship, which lasted off and on from 2007 to 2018. The disgraced mogul denied her claims. One day after the suit was filed, Diddy and Cassie settled out of court. In May 2024, CNN published a hotel surveillance video of Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in 2016. He later apologized for his actions in a video shared via Instagram.

“Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution,” Widgor told Us. “By coming forward with her experience, Cassie has left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice. We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial. She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.”

Cassie’s legal team vowed to continue to “fight on behalf of survivors” and insisted that the trial proved “change is long overdue.”

Legal Experts Questioned Whether Diddy's Actions Were Criminal Pre-Verdict

A courtroom reporter told Us that Diddy was “ecstatic” following Wednesday’s verdict as he thanked members of the jury and raised his hands in prayer. Eyewitnesses revealed to Us that Diddy attempted to greet his family members in the courtroom but was not allowed to do so.

Diddy’s supporters — including his mother, Janice Combs, and his son Justin Combs — were spotted celebrating outside the courtroom as his supporters shouted “Free Puff” following the verdict announcement on Wednesday.

Diddy Supporters and Critics Fight About Cassie Outside Court Over Verdict

2 July 2025 at 10:37

The controversial verdict in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial caused a stir outside the Daniel Patrick Moynihan U.S. Courthouse in New York City, leading to a verbal fight between his supporters and critics.

On Wednesday, July 2, two men were captured arguing over Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie after a jury found Diddy, 55, not guilty of sex trafficking despite her harrowing testimony about her alleged mistreatment at the hands of the rapper. Earlier in the day, the jury announced a verdict of guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and not guilty of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. (Diddy pleaded not guilty to all charges following his arrest last year.)

“Is he a woman abuser? Is he going to prison?” a man in a denim jacket, navy undershirt and orange sunglasses asked a man wearing a red bucket hat and red shirt regarding Diddy’s fate following the verdict.

In the video shared via X with footage from outside the courthouse, the two men on opposite sides of the case had a screaming match as a crowd gathered. (NBC News reporter Matt Lavietes shot the video.)

“He beat her,” the man in denim yelled, referring to Diddy’s alleged physical abuse of Cassie (full name Casandra Ventura) during their on-off relationship.

The man in the bucket hat claimed, “It doesn’t matter.” The first man fired back, “He beat her! He kicked her! He sat on her!”

The man wearing red didn’t care, shouting, “And she liked it, how about that?” A woman nearby then yelled, “She said, ‘No!’” backing Cassie, 38, and her allegations of abuse.

The man in denim tried to deescalate the situation, quieting the crowd so he could ask the man in red a question.

“Have you ever been so in love that it [is] a possibility that Cassie Ventura went through things like these horrific, horrible things — you agree the videos are horrible, right — is it possible she did things she wouldn’t normally do because she was so in love with this man?” the denim-clad individual asked. “The answer’s yes or no.”

The man wearing red took a minute and replied, “Yes,” but claimed, “At the end of the day, we all have cellphones. 911.” He started screaming “911,” implying that Cassie should have called for help if she was in danger.

Cassie Says She Doesn’t 'Hate' Diddy in Trial Testimony

The heated exchange came shortly after Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday following his trial. The musician was acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking.

During her multi-day testimony in May, Cassie, who dated Diddy on and off from 2007 to 2018, accused Diddy of sexually assaulting her and physically beating her on more than one occasion. She went into detail about the alleged violence, including explicit descriptions of Diddy’s “freak offs,” which she said she took part in to please her then-partner.

Following the jury’s verdict on Wednesday, Cassie released a statement via her attorney Douglas H. Wigdor.

Cassie Gives Emotional Testimony About Diddy Allegedly Raping Her

“This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023,” the statement to Us Weekly read. “Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.”

Cassie previously sued Diddy in November 2023 for sexual assault and physical abuse, which Diddy adamantly denied. The exes settled the case out of court one day after Cassie filed.

Her lawsuit, however, created a ripple effect, and other people soon came forward with similar allegations of misconduct against Diddy. The music mogul has maintained his innocence and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us in September 2024 following his client’s September 2024 arrest. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”

The attorney continued: “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Diddy’s sentencing date has not been set, but according to a court reporter, Diddy was “ecstatic” about the jury’s decision.

Cassie’s Lawyer Slams Defense's Claim She Was a ‘Winner’ in Diddy’s Trial

2 July 2025 at 10:25

Cassie’s lawyer Douglas Wigdor made it clear that she is not a “winner” after the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial came to an end.

“Obviously, Cassie Ventura, at that point in time and today, is not the winner,” Wigdor told CNN on Wednesday, July 2. “She endured 10 years of abuse where she had to engage in days long sexual acts with UTIs, she alleged that she was she was raped.”

He added, “To call her a winner, even though she did get $30 million part from, as she testified, part from Sean Combs, part from the hotel, no amount of money is going to ever undo what she had to endure and what she had to go through.”

Cassie testified against Diddy in May, detailing alleged physical and sexual abuse she endured throughout their on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.

Cassie Speaks Out Following Her Emotional Testimony in Diddy Trial

Wigdor noted that Cassie is “really trying to look forward” in the aftermath of the trial.

“Both she and I didn’t really take well to that as her being ‘a winner,’” he added.

Wigdor’s statement came days after Diddy’s defense attorney Marc Agnifilo claimed in court on June 27 that Cassie — full name Casandra Ventura — came out of Diddy’s trial on top.

“If you had to pick a winner in this whole thing, it’s Cassie,” Agnifilo said at the time. “She is sitting somewhere in the world with $30 million.”

Wigdor spoke with CNN on Wednesday after the verdict in Diddy’s two-month trial was delivered. A New York jury found the music mogul guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was further acquitted on two counts of sex trafficking and one racketeering conspiracy charge. Diddy faces up to 20 years in prison if given the maximum sentence.

During the same interview with CNN, Wigdor noted that there were “a lot of mixed emotions in that courtroom” after Diddy’s verdict was read.

“Obviously, we would’ve liked to have seen convictions on the RICO charges and the sex trafficking charges, but Cassie prompted this investigation by the Southern District, and now Sean Combs stands before this court as a convicted felon of two crimes,” he added, noting that this is “not the exact outcome that we wanted.”

Cassie Feels a 'Sense of Closure and Freedom’ After Diddy Trial

Despite Diddy’s acquittal on three charges, Cassie is “comforted in knowing that not only has she played a role in the criminal prosecution but that she shined a light on this behavior,” Wigdor added.

Cassie broke her silence on the verdict in a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday, released through Wigdor.

“This entire criminal process started when our client Cassie Ventura had the courage to file her civil complaint in November 2023,” the statement read. “Although the jury did not find Combs guilty of sex trafficking Cassie beyond a reasonable doubt, she paved the way for a jury to find him guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution.”

Cassie “left an indelible mark on both the entertainment industry and the fight for justice” by coming forward, the statement continued.

“We must repeat — with no reservation — that we believe and support our client who showed exemplary courage throughout this trial,” the statement read. “She displayed unquestionable strength and brought attention to the realities of powerful men in our orbit and the misconduct that has persisted for decades without repercussion.”

'Outer Banks' Fans Think Madison Bailey Shut Down Those Kiara and Rafe Season 5 Romance Rumors

2 July 2025 at 10:23

Outer Banks fans hoping to see Kiara explore a romance with Rafe in season 5 may not get their wish.

Madison Bailey posted a TikTok on Tuesday, July 2, showing the cast on set. A fan replied in the comments section, writing, “Maddie tell Kiara I want her with Rafe now!”

Bailey, 26, replied and made it clear she wasn’t as on board with the fictional couple. “She said no,” she said.

Bailey’s opinion comes as some viewers were hoping season 5 would be the time for Kiara and arch nemesis Rafe (Drew Starkey) to explore their chemistry. Other fans, however, pointed out that it wouldn’t make sense in the narrative considering Kiara’s boyfriend, JJ (Rudy Pankow), just died.

Us Ranks Every 'Outer Banks' Couple: From JJ and Kiara to John B and Sarah

“It’s a hard turn to go straight to a Rafe and Kiara ’ship given where they’ve been in the past,” creator Josh Pate told Cosmopolitan in November 2024 before adding, “We also know how great Drew and Madison are as actors and how great they are together. So we’re definitely going to explore that relationship.”

Outer Banks, which debuted in 2020, follows the conflict between two groups of teenagers in a coastal North Carolina town. The social divide is introduced with the wealthy residents (a.k.a. the Kooks) and the working class (the Pogues). Since season 1, Kiara and Rafe have not been on good terms — especially as Sarah’s (Madelyn Cline) brother antagonized their friend group and killed a few people along the way.

Season 5 is currently filming and is expected to follow the aftermath of JJ’s shocking death. The show originally received backlash when Pankow’s departure was confirmed despite the writing team claiming it was always the plan to kill off the fan-favorite character.

“It’s been kind of lurking in his DNA from the beginning. He’s really a tragic figure, and the idea of mortality, and you only have a finite window — it’s also a theme of the show,” executive producer Jonas Pate told The Hollywood Reporter in November 2024. “It’s something John B. has talked about from the first season. So believe it or not, this is something that was always sort of baked in the cake, and we just wanted to tell the story as elegantly and interestingly as possible.”

TV Couples We Should Leave Behind in 2024: 'Outer Banks' and 'The Bear'

After JJ’s onscreen death, the show’s creators explained their decision to kill off a Pogue.

“The overarching plan was to begin with just some kids who wanted to have a good time all the time, and take them on a whole journey,” Shannon Burke told Deadline in November 2024. “One of them was going to end up dying, and pretty early on, we knew that was going to be JJ, he’s the most reckless. He is also the most beloved and, in one way, the most sacrificing and the most risk-taking. And this was going to be JJ’s year.”

He continued: “The kids, they’re getting older. We wanted to begin in a place of innocence and then go to a place that at least one point to go is really dark for them, and then have them come out of it. That’s the overarching plan for the show. It was always JJ that was going to be, we just weren’t sure how we were going to play it.”

Outer Banks is currently streaming on Netflix.

Everything We Know About the Diddy Jury Who Decided the Rapper’s Verdict

2 July 2025 at 10:20

A jury of 12 New Yorkers decided the fate of Sean “Diddy” Combs during his highly publicized sex trafficking case.

After nearly seven weeks of testimony, eight men and four women came up with a verdict following less than three full days of deliberation.

Diddy, 55, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution on Wednesday, July 2. He was, however, acquitted on charges of racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking. Each transportation charge carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. (Diddy previously pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all of the allegations against him.)

While the identities of each jury member are only known to the judge and lawyers, each juror revealed a little bit about themselves as they were selected for the trial.

How Diddy Reacted After Verdict Was Reached in Sex Trafficking Trial

According to NBC News, those selected range from ages 30 to 74 and live in different parts of New York, including Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester County.

The men and women come from various professions, with an investment analyst, a physician assistant, a massage therapist, a social worker and a deli clerk all serving on the jury.

Six alternate jurors were also selected for the trial. Those four men and two women range in age from 24 to 71.

Before the trial officially began on May 5, potential jurors were asked about their familiarity with various celebrities, including those who personally knew or had been involved with Diddy.

Some high-profile witnesses who ended up testifying in the trial included Cassie, Kid Cudi and Danity Kane’s Dawn Richard.

Before deliberations began, Judge Arun Subramanian delivered specific instructions to the jury. He asked the men and women not to jump to conclusions based on their personal likes or dislikes before reminding the group that “your verdict must be unanimous, but you are not bound to sharing your honest convictions.”

“If you listen to the views of your fellow jurors, and you use your own common sense, you will find a common verdict,” Subramanian added.

On Monday, June 30, Subramanian received a note from the jury’s foreperson, stating that they were “concerned” that one jury member “cannot follow your honor’s instructions” during deliberations.

The man, referred to as juror No. 25 in the note, is reportedly a 51-year-old man from Manhattan who holds a degree in molecular biology and works as a veterinarian, according to Reuters. (The judge ultimately decided that no further action was needed.)

Shortly after the verdict was announced, Subramanian thanked the jury for their service and commitment to the case for nearly two months. (Diddy also mouthed “thank you” to the jury with prayer hands before looking up.)

Cassie Breaks Silence After Diddy Found Not Guilty of Sex Trafficking

“I want you to know that it is inspiring to all of us. You listened, you worked together, you were here every day, rain or shine. You did so with no reward, other than the reward that comes from answering the call of public service,” he said via CNN. “That should give all of us hope.”

Subramanian also warned the jury that members of the press will likely try to speak with them about the case in the future. He asked them not to speak about other jurors’ views or how the deliberations played out.

“There is an important reason to respect the privacy of your deliberations,” he said. “That being said, the choice of whether to speak to others about the case and your personal views is up to you.”
