Memorial Day Weekend is here, which means one thing: it’s the official kickoff to summer.
So while you take a break from prepping your weekenders with Instagram-worthy outfits or ride the train that’s headed to your nearest beach town, Us is back with another roundup of hype-worthy launches and celebrity sightings to keep you entertained.
First things first: Let’s discuss House of the Red Pearl’s latest addition. The New York City hotspot — belonging to notable restaurateur and culinary mastermind Jean-Georges Vongerichten — released a Chinese-American-inspired drink menu that’ll impress both city dwellers and out-of-towners. (One beverage is even served with crispy wontons!)
If you’re not based in the Big Apple, there’s still exciting newness you can get your hands on. For example, Gabrielle Union recently wore Tecovas’ Abby cowgirl boots at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour. The statement shoes are a perfect pairing for all the flirty LWDs (little white dresses) you’ll wear this summer, or you can style them with a microskirt just like Union did.

Luxe-looking bling for under $100? Yes, please! Expand your accessory collection with the Charlie Drop Hoops, seen in the 18k gold-plated finish and worn by Keke Palmer.
Ariana Madix and Lori Harvey are just two celebrity fans of the five-calorie energy-boosting beverage, which is infused with 150mg of green tea caffeine plus L-theanine, B vitamins and biotin.
New York City’s swanky Chinese speakeasy, run by acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, just launched a must-try cocktail menu. We (highly) recommend the Fortune Cookie Milk Punch and Chinese Hot Mustard Martini.
Give your wardrobe a touch of cowgirl flair by slipping on The Abby boot: a knee-high design, featuring eye-catching stitching that’ll make any outfit pop. (Gabrielle Union recently rocked them.)
The Desert Rose Melting Body Balm from Ashley Tisdale’s beauty and wellness brand, Being Frenshe (Fun fact: The brand name — pronounced “french-ee” — pays homage to Tisdale’s husband Christopher French) is truly the crème de la crème. The hydrating blend transforms into an oil-like consistency as you apply it, and leaves skin baby-soft and smelling incredible.
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes’ unexpected closeness is still going strong.
While on the red carpet for the grand opening of Universal Studios’ Epic Universe in Orlando on Friday, Mat 23, Siwa, 22, spoke to Jake Quickenden and Keltie Knight in a video shared via E! News. Quickenden, 36, wanted to get the details on how things were going for the Dance Moms alum and Hughes, 32, since leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house.
“So, JoJo. How’s things going with my best friend Chris?” Quickenden playfully asked. (Quickenden and Hughes connected before appearing on Celebrity Full Monty together in 2020.)
Siwa was at a loss of words before replying, “They’re going great.”
Knight, 43, stepped in and shared her opinion that Hughes is “hot,” which Quickenden agreed, stating his pal is a “very lovely person.”
Siwa then showed Knight her phone background which the TV personality told the camera it was a “forehead kiss selfie” of the pair.
“Don’t tell them!” Quickenden said while JoJo laughed and jokingly replied, “No, it wasn’t!”
While Siwa didn’t share any other details about her connection to Hughes, Quickenden couldn’t help but gush over the duo’s dynamic.
“I am so happy for Chris and JoJo. You know what, if anything happens, if it doesn’t. Who cares?” he said. “You find your people on these shows and they’ve found each other and whether or not they’re friends or whatever, it is amazing.”
Earlier this year, Siwa and Hughes met while competing on Celebrity Big Brother UK and formed a fast friendship. Throughout the season, they were shown snuggling in bed together, writing each other secret messages and giving each other makeovers. The Love Island alum jumped to Siwa’s defense when she was the target of homophobic comments from fellow housemateMickey Rourke.
“We still speak all the time, obviously, naturally,” Siwa said of her status with Hughes. “Now to be out of the house, we just exist, and it is what it is. We’re happy, and we have each other. It’s a great little special friendship that we have.”
A few weeks later, Siwa and Hughes further fueled romance rumors when the “Karma” singer posted a series of photos of her and Hughes together.
“This years birthday week was more magical than anything,” Siwa captioned a carousel of photos on Wednesday, May 21, which featured many of herself and Hughes looking cozy. “Full of surprises, family time, performing, chilling, laughing, loving, smiling, and good meaningful cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing a week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”
The following day, Siwa and Hughes were photographed kissing in a pool while on vacation in Mexico, per photos obtained by The Sun.
Aubrey Plaza made her red carpet return following the death of her late husband, Jeff Baena.
Plaza, 40, stepped out on Friday, May 23, for the premiere of her new film Honey Don’t! at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival. While walking the red carpet, Plaza stunned in a sheer nude floor-length gown with a white strapless bodysuit underneath. The dress sparkled with multi-color beaded embellishments.
In addition to posing solo, Plaza was joined by her Honey Don’t! costars Margaret Qualley and Charlie Day. Writers Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke and other crew members also posed with the cast.
This was Plaza’s first red carpet since Baena died earlier this year at age 47.
“This is an unimaginable tragedy,” a spokesperson for Plaza told Us in a statement in January. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Later that month, Baena’s obituary was published in the Miami Herald.

“It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Jeff Baena, a beloved son, husband, brother, uncle and friend to many,” Baena’s obituary read. “Jeff left us too soon but despite his woefully too-short life, he left us with treasured memories of a gifted filmmaker, as well as a very special person on so many different levels.”
Following Baena’s tragic passing, Plaza canceled her appearance at the Golden Globes and deleted her Instagram. The actress has primarily stayed out of the public eye. In February, she made a rare public appearance at Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special. She subtly honored Baena during the appearance by wearing a tie-dye T-shirt — which Baena had a fondness for — underneath her blazer.
Plaza and Baena dated for nearly a decade before tying the knot in 2020. However, news in March that Plaza and Baena had quietly separated four months before his death. Despite separating, the twosome remained close and she requested a wellness check on him prior to his death, per a report from the medical examiner.
Honey Don’t! is Plaza’s first movie since Baena’s death. The dark comedy, which also stars Chris Evans, follows Honey O’Donahue (Qualley): a small-town P.I. delving into a series of strange deaths tied to a mysterious church. Evans plays a corrupt religious leader whom Qualley is investigating. While details of Plaza’s role are under wraps, the trailer revealed she plays a “mystery woman” involved with the police department.
Fire up the grill, because it’s finally Memorial Day Weekend! This holiday weekend kicks off the official beginning of summer for many of us, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay outdoors the whole time.
If you’d prefer to take advantage of the long weekend with a nice binge watch, that’s perfectly valid, and we’re here to support that choice with a list of shows you can watch over Memorial Day Weekend.
The show that birthed the Taylor Sheridan universe, Yellowstone is an epic drama about the intense and tumultuous world of the Dutton family, who control the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. It's a family saga with western themes that explores the raw beauty of the American frontier. Kevin Costner plays John Dutton, the patriarch trying to maintain control of his land.
Yellowstone is a story of loyalty, family and American identity that is perfect to stream over the holiday weekend. Watch it on Peacock.
Fun in the sun takes a bloody turn in Grosse Pointe Garden Society, a hit NBC series that follows a group of garden club members in an affluent suburb. When Brett (Ben Rappaport), Birdie (Melissa Fumero), Catherine (Aja Naomi King) and Alice (AnnaSophia Robb) get involved in a mysterious death, they're forced into a gruesome fellowship to protect themselves and find out what really happened.
A soapy mystery-drama in the vein of Desperate Housewives or Big Little Lies, Grosse Pointe features a talented cast and a uniquely quirky aesthetic. The first season just ended, so now's the perfect time for a binge-watch.
You can watch Grosse Pointe Garden Society on Peacock.
Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne) didn't intend to take a road trip across America, but when you're on the run from the mob, sometimes you have no other option. Charlie is a human lie detector, always able to tell when someone's words are "bull***." That lands her in a lot of tricky situations in this Columbo-esque murder mystery series.
Each episode of Poker Face begins with a murder (usually involving an awesome guest actor like John Mulaney or Cynthia Erivo), so the audience always knows "whodunnit." The fun is in watching Charlie put the pieces together to catch the killer — and she always gets her man. (Or, in a great season 2 episode, her alligator.)
Does the warm weather have you yearning for an illicit rendezvous in the garden? Then dive into the dreamy world of Bridgerton, the Netflix phenomenon based on the novels by Julia Quinn. It's an alternate history period piece set in a Regency-era England that's not divided by race. Each season of the series follows a different member of the wealthy and influential Bridgerton family, whose eight children face the "marriage mart" and endeavor to find matches that include both financial advantages and love.
The stunning costumes and steamy romance scenes are what steal the show in this series, as well as stellar performances from actors like Jonathan Baileyand Nicola Coughlan.
What's more American than the hardworking teachers who prepare the next generation to face life as adults? Abbott Elementary is the story of a group of devoted teachers (plus a chaotic principal and an off-kilter janitor) who go to hilarious lengths to help their students succeed.
The critically acclaimed series created by and starring Quinta Brunson is funny, charming and occasionally moving (without feeling sappy). The cast of characters is so well-defined and idiosyncratic that you really feel like you know every one of them.
Kris Jenner‘s refreshed appearance has recently received significant online attention and column inches, leading many to wonder if a plastic surgeon is behind her radiant visage. While the verdict is still out on any specific procedures, the identity of her doctor has been revealed.
Jenner’s glowing aesthetics are the work of Dr. Steven Levine, a New York-based plastic surgeon to the stars, Us Weekly can confirm.
When Jenner, 69, stepped out with her daughter Kim Kardashian in Paris earlier this month, she was photographed all over the French capital looking better than ever at the bachelorette party for Lauren Sánchez (who is set to marry Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in Venice this June).
The celebrity-studded pre-wedding girls’ weekend highlighted Jenner’s noticeable glow-up, sparking speculation and discussion about how fantastic she looked and what her secret is. The whole world wanted to know: “Who is Jenner’s doctor, and when can I book an appointment?”
In recent months, the Kardashians star has been sharing photographs that display her refined appearance, which observers have frequently noted bears a resemblance to her daughters’ features. Per a People report, Jenner had “aesthetic enhancements” performed by Dr. Levine, though the exact kind is still unknown.

Here’s what Us can tell you: Dr. Levine has a private practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. According to his website, he is an “aesthetic and reconstructive” surgeon who received his medical degree from New York University and has an A-list celebrity clientele.
Working with Hollywood actors, supermodels, and bold-faced names, including Jenner, Levine’s website notes that he specializes in “natural-looking enhancements” for the face and body, such as facelifts, brow lifts, blepharoplasty (A.K.A. eyelid lifts), brow lifts, neck lifts, facial fat grafting, dermal fillers, chemical peels, and dermabrasion, which, for the uninitiated, helps with fine lines.
Per a 2020 People interview, facial procedures begin at $45,000. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Levine told the publication that patient demand was exceptionally high, with one offering to pay double. Another suggested providing him “a month-long in-house accommodation in the Hamptons.” Indeed, Dr. Levine is just that in demand.
For her part, Jenner has been transparent about her use of cosmetic procedures. In 2018, she had an earlobe reduction, which was documented during a Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode. The next year, she followed it up by handing out Botox gift cards to her friends and family.
“It’s a one-stop shop for me… And who doesn’t love Botox?” Jenner told People at the time. “For me, it’s been really great. If you’re responsible and you talk to your doctor, I think it works. It’s something that I’ve been using for a long time.” She also described her personal beauty routine as “pretty simple,” involving “a massage, a great facial, a manicure, and a little Botox, and I’m good to go. I’m pretty traditional. As long as I’m clean and scrubbed up, I’m a happy camper.”
You’ve probably heard that black and white are the ultimate neutrals to stock in your closet. I’m here to challenge that notion: Chocolate brown is taking over as the most stylish neutral, and honestly, the hue is a bit more versatile than both black and white.
This color has an inherent regality about it — it looks rich and smooth, elevating any outfit you wear, regardless of weather you opt for a chocolate brown top, bottom or even just an accessory. Let me put it this way: Every well-rounded closet has a little chocolate brown in it. Not sure where to start? I curated the best chocolate brown pieces to shop today.

The Fantastic Four actress was spotted with a mystery man in London’s Regents Park last weekend, and the two appeared to be plenty comfortable. In photos obtained by The Sun, the man, wearing a black hoodie, white cap and shorts, could be seen giving Alba, 44, a shoulder rub.
Alba, going incognito in a black jacket and cap, is seen grabbing the man’s hand as he rubs her shoulder, and a source told The Sun that the two were seen hugging. They were later seen kissing while seated on a pair of deck chairs.
Alba and Warren, 46, split in January after 13 years of marriage. They both filed for divorce a month later.
“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years — both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote via Instagram on January 16. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
“We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time,” she concluded.
Warren has not commented publicly on the divorce, but Alba has been candid about the challenges they faced.
“It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates,” Alba told Katherine Schwarzenegger on her Instagram series Before, During, and After Baby in July 2021. “You’re just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?”
An insider told Us Weekly in January that Alba and Warren had been working on their marriage before deciding to split.
“They have had many ups and downs as any marriage would after being together for so many years,” the source said. “They have tried therapy and have worked out past issues over the years.”
“There were trust issues in the past which led to many arguments,” the source added, saying that “at the end of the day, the romance was gone between them.”
The couple share three children — Honor, 16, Haven, 13 and Hayes, 7 — and have continued to coparent amid their split. The family of five celebrated Easter together in April, participating in an egg hunt and visiting a petting zoo.
One source, however, exclusively told Us Weekly that nothing is official with the longtime Bravo star just yet.
“Dolores may be appearing on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, but not necessarily in a friend or full-time capacity,” the insider explained to Us. “She has authentic roots there, and the idea is she would set a tone but not as an official cast member.”
On May 7, Bravo announced their upcoming slate of programming with a mix of returning shows and new additions. In addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City being renewed, the network also announced The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is officially in the works.
Dolores CataniaEuan Cherry/Peacock
“Set against the shores of the Ocean State, The Real Housewives franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations,” the synopsis stated. “With aspirational lives, thriving businesses and tangled family dynamics, these decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there’s no escaping your past … or each other.”
Bravo has yet to announce the cast or a premiere date.
When asked about speculation that the latest Real Housewives city will feature a cast member from another show, Andy Cohen stayed mum.
“I think that’s been a little overstated,” he told People in an interview published Thursday, May 22, before adding he’s open to the idea. “It’s really about who’s in Rhode Island.”
As for what Bravo fans can expect from the show once it’s ready to go, Cohen, 56, described it as “Italian with a capital I” and teased that it’ll give fans “early Jersey vibes,” referring to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Catania became a full time cast member on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2016 ahead of season 7. Since then, she has brought her love for family and loyalty to the Bravo show while trying not to pick sides in the cast’s biggest feuds.
Since the show was paused in 2024, Catania has appeared on The Traitors and has been serving as a guest cohost for iHeartRadio’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast while Teddi Mellencamp battles cancer.
Sarah Jessica Parker just wore a dress that gives vibes of a Central Park picnic meets summer style.
The And Just Like That star recently wore a flowy gingham dress AKA the summer style to wear on repeat. She was spotted in her beloved New York City, styling the dress to perfection with a leather belt, pink blazer, black leather shoulder bag and an umbrella to brave the rainy day. While her exact style remains a mystery, we can still get the look with this romantic $30 version — perfect for a day date in the park.
Get the Chouyatou Retro Plaid Smocked Dress (Originally $35) on sale for just $30 at Amazon! Please note, prices are accurate at the date of publication, May 23, 2025, but are subject to change.
You, too, can look like you just stepped out of a rom-com montage while wearing this retro plaid smocked dress. Amazingly, it channels Parker’s exact pick with the same maxi length, smocked bodice and signature black and white print. However, this dress has even more features that we love like flirty ruffle straps, a flare bottom and even pockets!
Made of 100% cotton, this dress is breathable, soft and even moisture-absorbent, making it ideal for warm-weather activities. This does mean, however, that it can only handle a gentle machine wash. But for something this cute, it’s a small price to pay.
It isn’t just a style that Parker likes to twirl around in — Amazon shoppers do, too. In fact, the dress has earned over 700 five-star ratings to date.
One of those reviewers who call it a “gorgeous dress” said that it definitely feels like a “throw-back to the ’70s maxi.”
“I wore mine with a vintage cherry red necklace and black platform sandals,” they continued. “This is lovely and you can accessorize it to your liking.”
Speaking of accessories, Parker’s look proved how this style can go beyond just your typical rattan bag and sandals look. For date nights, dress it up with a fancy pair of heels, statement jewelry and a chic bag . . . dare we say a Fendi baguette? Then when you want to keep it casual, go with simple sneakers, a tote bag and a denim jacket like a true city girl.
