Inside Bethenny Frankel's Life in Florida: Everything We Know

Bethenny Frankel traded in the bright lights of New York City for the big waves of Miami.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum, 54, announced her plans to move from New York to Florida back in April. “I am moving to Florida for personal and professional reasons,” she explained in an Instagram video. “Something has arisen that made this the best and healthiest for myself and my daughter.”

She went on to clarify that she and her 15-year-old daughter, Bryn, would retain their homes in NYC and the Hamptons but would be making Florida their “primary and permanent residence.”

Frankel reportedly purchased her Miami condo for around $1.7 million in June 2024. On a May episode of her “Just B” podcast, the Bravolebrity explained that Bryn once “cried” to her about wanting to move to the Sunshine State after “something very personal transpired.”

Bethenny Frankel Through the Years

After initially dismissing her teen’s request, she eventually caved. “She meant it, and she begged me. She didn’t have to beg me, like, she was like, ‘I really want this,’” Frankel noted. “I know my kid and I knew that once this was presented … that she’d want to move. I was just like, ‘F***ing f*** it, OK.’”

Frankel broke down her move timeline in a May 2 TikTok video, revealing she and Bryn decided to change their home base two months prior. “Within five weeks, [we] had sold and bought a home in both places,” she explained. “We’ll keep this apartment, but [I] sold my home, bought a place in Florida and unbraided everything.”

Frankel quietly placed her Connecticut home up for sale for $8 million in April. She alluded to the listing in her TikTok video, noting she felt like the home was “drowning” her and was better suited for a large family.

“I wanted to simplify,” the Skinnygirl mogul shared, saying she originally planned to move after Bryn went to college. “My simplification is someone else’s complication ’cause I’m still going to be in a beautiful home, but I just took on too much and the idea of something was different than the reality of it.”

“Bryn is Bethenny’s top priority, and the decision to move to Florida was all about supporting her,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in April. “The move reflects Bryn’s academic and athletic goals, and was made with her physical and emotional well-being front and center.”

One month later, Frankel admitted via TikTok that she hadn’t “been totally honest” about the reason behind her move. In addition to moving for her daughter, the reality star said she wanted to move because she’s been “pretty lonely for the past five or six years.”

“It started with the pandemic, which gave me license to be the introvert and insular person that everyone is surprised that I am,” she told her followers in the May 11 upload. “My friends know it very well because I look like a social person, but I’m not! I could be home for days without leaving the house, and the pandemic gave me license to do that.”

Luann de Lesseps Reacts to Bethenny Frankel Moving to Florida

Frankel stated that she thinks her Florida move will help “reinvigorate” her relationship with NYC. In terms of what she likes most about the Southern state, she said, “I walk outside and I go take a walk on the beach and I’m just existing, like, with other human life.”

Her mother Bernadette Birk’s death in April 2024 also played a role in the decision to move. “I don’t want to just rot at home and feel like I’m wasting, like, years of my life,” Frankel stated. “All I’ve done in the last five or six years is reflect. I’ve done my reflecting. I’ve done my therapy. My mom died. I had, you know, a lot going on, and I’m ready to live.”

Will Bethenny Frankel Continue to Work in Florida?

Frankel noted in her original April move post that she was relocating for “personal and professional reasons.” However, she recently shared what it would take for her to wrap up her career.

“I would definitely retire — like, if I end up with some billionaire on some big boat,” she told Ad Week in an interview published on May 13. “I would end up doing social media on the boat.”

Given her proximity to the beach, perhaps Frankel may find her ideal man in Miami.

Frankel first gave fans a glimpse inside her beachfront Miami condo via TikTok back in December 2024. In addition to an open kitchen, living room and dining room, the residence features two bedrooms, a newly renovated bathroom, a separate bathroom just for Bryn, in-unit laundry and a spacious deck with a view of the coastline.

The only downside? “I really have to, like, ask a lot out of this closet,” Frankel said as she showed fans the inside of her small closet. To improve her clothing storage, Frankel shared her plans to remove her bathroom’s bidet and build another closet in its place.

Frankel has continued to show off her new place via Instagram. “The transition and journey has been rough but in a few weeks we will be settled into our Florida home before we head to the Hamptons for an endless summer,” she wrote alongside pics and clips of her time in Miami so far on May 23. “Let the adventure era continue.”

Katie Couric Reacts to Death of Sheinelle Jones' Husband, Uche Ojeh

Katie Couric is sending her love to a member of her Today show family.

The former coanchor of the NBC morning show took to Instagram on Friday, May 23, to pay tribute to Sheinelle Jones’ husband, Uche Ojeh, after his unexpected death at age 45. “Sending so much love, support and sympathy to @sheinelle_o following the loss of her beloved husband Uche after a valiant struggle with glioblastoma,” she wrote alongside a photo of the couple.

Couric, 68, continued, “My heart is breaking for her and their three children. Please hold them in your hearts. Love you Sheinelle 💔.”

Couric left her role as Today’s coanchor in 2006, eight years before Jones, 47, joined the series as a Weekend Today cohost. Jones has served as a cohost of the show’s third hour alongside Al Roker, Craig Melvin and Dylan Dreyer since 2019.

Stars Rally Around Sheinelle Jones After Death of Husband Uche Ojeh

Jones has been absent from Today since December 2024. In January, she clarified via Instagram that she was “taking time to deal with a family health matter.” During Friday’s Today broadcast, Savannah Guthrie broke the news that Ojeh had died after a private battle with the brain cancer glioblastoma.

“There are no words for the pain that we feel for Sheinelle and their three young children. Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him,” Guthrie, 53, tearfully announced.

The show aired a video package revisiting the couple’s biggest moments, from falling in love as students at Northwestern University to their 2007 wedding to becoming parents to their three kids — son Kayin, 15, and twins Clara and Uche, 12.

“We just want to say Sheinelle, Kayin, little Uche and Clara, the Ojeh family, we are with you. We love you,” Guthrie added. “You are our family, and we are just sending all of our love to you right now.”

Jones broke her silence on Ojeh’s death by sharing her colleagues’ on-air tributes via Instagram. “Thank you, for all of your love and support ❤,” she wrote alongside the clip on Friday.

Couric went through a similar experience as Jones when she lost her first husband, Jay Monahan, to colon cancer at age 42 in 1998. The spouses, who wed in 1989, shared daughters Ellie, 33, and Carrie, 29. She found new love with her husband, John Molner, whom she wed in 2014.

Couric became a grandmother in March 2024 with the birth of Ellie and her husband Mark Dobrosky’s son, John. Her grandson was named after Jay, whose full name was John Paul Monahan.

Earlier this year, Couric exclusively told Us Weekly that her husband’s legacy lives on through their kids and baby John. “Now every time I see Baby Jay, I think of my Jay and Ellie and Carrie’s Jay,” she shared in March while promoting the Cologuard Classic by Exact Sciences golf tournament to help raise colon cancer awareness.

“I always think of how proud he would be of them,” she added. “So, we think about him a lot.”

Uche was an incredible person. We all loved him.”

Jones, 47, shared her son Kayin, 15, and twins Clara and Uche, 12, with Ojeh. The third hour of Today cohost had been absent from the morning show since December 2024 after announcing via Instagram that she was “taking time to deal with a family health matter.”

Tommy Dorfman Files for Divorce From Wife Elise Williams

Tommy Dorfman has officially parted ways with her wife, Elise Williams.

Dorfman, 33, filed for divorce from Williams in New York after nearly two years of marriage on Friday, May 16, Us Weekly can reveal exclusively according to online records. The news comes less than five months after Dorfman appeared to hint at the pair’s split in a December 2024 Instagram post. (Us has reached out to Dorfman and Williams’s reps for comment.)

While sharing a slideshow of “random memories of 2024,” the 13 Reasons Why alum quoted Nicole Kidman’s memorable AMC Theaters commercial. “1: heartbreak feels good in a place like this (i wrote this entirely original line),” she quipped.

Elsewhere in the carousel, Dorfman shared a mirror selfie that showed off her leg, writing in the post’s caption, “i sent this to a boy and got no response so that’s good.”

Michelle Williams and Husband Thomas Kail’s Relationship Timeline

Another snap featured her dog laying on a couch. Dorfman revealed that she and her pup were living in a “new home,” writing, “While it’s just the two of us now, i think she’s managing better than i.”

Us can also confirm that Dorfman recently sold her Brooklyn apartment amid the split. The charming pre-war 3-bedroom home – with a renovated kitchen, sprawling living and dining area, large windows, wood-burning fireplace, and exposed brick – hit the market in early April and within weeks is in contract for nearly $1.4 million.

Back in May 2024, Dorfman revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that she and Williams secretly tied the knot several months prior. “I married my best friend and didn’t tell anyone except @hunterabrams who came and photographed us towards the end of last year,” she wrote. “We bought our own dresses @doverstreetmarketnewyork where i used to work before acting, and it was perfect.”

She opened up about their relationship in an essay for Vogue at the time, noting that they quickly fell in love after meeting on the dating app Hinge in 2021.

“We got engaged two months into dating. To our credit, we waited a full 12 months before moving in together, so you can’t say we U-Hauled (though one might argue taking in a Great Dane puppy at our six-month mark was a smidge irresponsible),” she recalled. “That’s the thing about falling in love though; your responsibility barometer isn’t always where it should be. Love, for us, required that nauseating combination of naivete, delusion, and fate.”

Bridget Fonda and Husband Danny Elfman’s Relationship Timeline

Dorfman was previously married to Peter Zurkuhlen from 2016 to 2021.

Before filing for divorce, Dorfman starred alongside Rachel Zegler and Kit Connor in Romeo + Juliet on Broadway. She portrayed the Nurse and Tybalt throughout the show, which debuted in October 2024 and ended on February 16.

“O teach me how i should forget to think! these past 6 months have been the most challenging and rewarding of my life,” she captioned behind-the-scenes pics via Instagram on closing night. “I love you @romeojulietnyc thank you all for every single moment 🥹🪽.”

Emma Stone Lists Newly Renovated $26.5 Million Texas Home for Sale

Emma Stone’s Texas home is almost as spacious as the state itself.

The Oscar winner, 36, recently put her Lone Star property on the real estate market for an asking price of $26.5 million. Stone purchased the West Austin home with her husband, Dave McCary, back in 2021, per the Wall Street Journal.

The residence, which sits on 1.24 acres, is newly refurbished and is expected to complete renovations this summer, according to Moreland Properties’ website. “Just a half a mile from the Walsh Boat Landing on Lady Bird Lake, and minutes from downtown, the location is perfect for those who want peaceful surroundings but also to enjoy the excitement of the city,” the homes’ description reads.

The home was “re-envisioned” thanks to award-winning architecture firm Cuppett Kilpatrick, who is behind the renovation project, while Koch Construction helped incorporate “exquisite millwork and luxurious details not often seen in today’s modern homes” into the seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom house.

Jenna Bush Hager Jokes Savannah Is 'Repressed' for Not Saying 'Sex' On Air

Jenna Bush Hager made Savannah Guthrie crack up with a comment about her on-air behavior.

The BFFs chatted about their love for author Judy Blume on the Thursday, May 22, episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. “I feel like half of the things I have learned about life, and frankly, a little bit of the birds and bees …” Guthrie, 53, began before Bush Hager, 43, cut in to point out that her cohost didn’t explicitly state she was talking about sex.

“Can you say sex?” she asked, to which Guthrie replied, “I can.”

Bush Hager went on to joke, “She’s kind of repressed. Go ahead. Can you say sex?”

Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie Are Godmothers to Each Other's Kids

Guthrie — who agreed she was “very repressed” — was initially hesitant about fulfilling Bush Hager’s request, asking, “Do I have to? I think we know what we’re talking about.” Ultimately, she caved in and simply said, “Sex.”

“Wow, I’m so proud of you,” Bush Hager said as Guthrie laughed and received applause from the show’s off-camera crew. Guthrie continued to make her colleague giggle after trying to use the topic of sex as a segue into their next talking point about a New York news anchor going into labor live on air.

“Is that your transition?” Guthrie asked, to which Bush Hager hilariously rebutted, “Well, that’s how you get pregnant, in case they didn’t explain everything to you.”

Guthrie wrapped up the topic by pointing out she “did have two babies.” She shares daughter Vale, 10, and son Charley, 8, with her husband, Michael Feldman. Bush Hager, for her part, shares kids Mila, 12, Poppy, 9, and Hal, 5, with her husband, Henry Hager.

Earlier in the discussion, Guthrie noted that she was envious of Bush Hager’s connection with Blume, 87. “Listen, I don’t have a lot of jealousy issues with you, but one is that you have hung out with Judy Blume. I love Judy Blume,” she said.

Bush Hager proceeded to recall a recent Zoom call she had with the beloved author about adapting her book Summer Sisters into a TV show, only to be interrupted by her eldest daughter.

“Mila walks in the room. And at first, I’m humiliated, like, ‘Oh, gosh. Of course, I’m one of those moms that’s [having a Zoom call] from home and a kid walks in,’” Bush Hager shared. “And then, I said, ‘Mila, let me introduce you to Judy Blume.’ … And she goes, ‘Judy! Oh, my gosh! I read the first chapter book that you wrote. The very first chapter book I ever read, you wrote it, and I love you.’”

While the moment was a sweet one, Bush Hager went on to joke, “She left and I was like, ‘They’re probably gonna think I paid my child to make a little appearance in.’”

Guthrie will end her week-long run as Bush Hager’s Jenna & Friends cohost on Friday, May 23. Bush Hager has continued to lead the fourth hour of Today with a lineup of celebrity guest hosts since Hoda Kotb’s exit from the NBC morning show on January 10.

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes Spotted Kissing Amid Romance Rumors

JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes seemingly sealed ongoing romance rumors with a kiss.

In photos obtained by The Sun, the Celebrity Big Brother UK costars were recently spotted kissing on a pool floatie at an adults-only hotel in Mexico. Hughes, 32, appeared to hold a drink in his hand as he leaned in toward Siwa, 22.

Us Weekly has reached out to Siwa and Hughes’ reps for comment.

The kissing pic comes shortly after Siwa and Hughes fueled relationship speculation by sharing several photos of each other via Instagram. “This years birthday week was more magical than anything🤍🪄,” Siwa captioned a carousel of photos on Wednesday, May 21, many of which featured herself and Hughes looking loved-up.

JoJo Siwa Fuels Romance Rumors With Chris Hughes After ‘Magical’ Trip

She continued, “Full of surprises, family time, performing, chilling, laughing, loving, smiling, and good meaningful cries. Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing🤍 a week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.”

Siwa’s snaps included one in which she and Hughes hold hands, as well as photos of them sharing breakfast, cuddling on a couch together and Hughes placing his hand on her leg.

In an Instagram post of his own, Hughes shared a pic of he and Siwa hanging out in a pool. “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.. 😊💫🎂,” he captioned the Tuesday, May 20, post, which featured more snaps of Hughes with Siwa and her family.

Siwa and Hughes met while competing on Celebrity Big Brother UK earlier this year. In addition to frequently being shown snuggling in bed together, writing each other secret messages and giving each other makeovers Hughes came to Siwa’s defense when she faced homophobic comments from fellow housemate Mickey Rourke.

Siwa also got candid about her sexuality with Hughes, revealing she no longer identified as a lesbian but as queer. Siwa broke up with her ex Kath Ebbs shortly after the show’s end, exclusively telling Us in her digital cover story earlier this month that Hughes “had absolutely nothing to do with my breakup.”

While Ebbs, 27, doesn’t believe any actual cheating went on between Siwa and Hughes on the reality series, they told Betches earlier this month that they were still hurt by their onscreen and closeness.

“I genuinely just thought that because of the Mickey Rouke thing, she had kind of trauma bonded a bit to Chris as he was the only one that stood up for her and didn’t gaslight her,” Ebbs told the outlet in an interview published on May 14. “So I thought that was a trauma bond that had kind of gone too far because of the environment in which they were in.”

Siwa gave an update on her bond with Hughes in her Us digital cover story. “We still speak all the time, obviously, naturally,” she shared. “Now to be out of the house, we just exist, and it is what it is. We’re happy, and we have each other. It’s a great little special friendship that we have.”

The Dance Moms alum also called herself the “No. 1 JoJo and Chris stan,” adding, “I see all the edits and I’m like, ‘I wanna see more dancing. I wanna see more of what’s happening.’ I am the scroller on TikTok now. I understand why the people are enjoying it.”

Pregnant News Anchor Olivia Jaquith Goes Into Labor Live on Air

Local news anchor Olivia Jaquith was in for a surprise when she went on air for her latest broadcast.

The TV journalist, who works for CBS affiliate WRGB in Albany, New York, went into labor live on air on Wednesday, May 21. “We do have some breaking news this morning, literally. Olivia’s water has broke and she is anchoring the news now in active labor,” Jaquith’s coanchor Julia Dunn announced.

Jaquith, for her part, clarified she was only in “early labor,” adding, “Let’s not get carried away.”

Regardless of her labor progress, Dunn told viewers that Jaquith has begun timing her contractions, the last one being two minutes apart. “Well, there was one, but it’s been a few minutes since then, so we’re still in good shape,” Jaquith noted.

Dunn went on to praise her colleague for deciding to “stay on the desk” despite going into labor. The broadcast even celebrated Jaquith’s pregnancy by adding a “days past due date” counter at the top right corner of the screen.

“Well, I’m happy to be here and I’ll stay on the desk for as long as I possibly can,” Jaquith told viewers. “But if I disappear, that’s what’s going on.”

Dunn, who coincidentally is also pregnant, wrapped up the announcement by stating, “We’re so happy for you! She’s two days overdue, so she wants this baby out.”

Later in the episode, Jaquith stated that she would “rather be at work than at the hospital.” Three hours later at the end of the broadcast, the crew sent Jaquith well wishes with a breaking news bumper at the bottom of the screen which read, “Here comes Baby P, Good Luck Olivia.”

Jaquith is expecting her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, Tyn. Though the anchor has yet to announce she gave birth, WRGB teased via Facebook that she has become a mother. “You may have noticed, a new face on-air this morning, our News Director Stone Grissom slid into his familiar role on the desk to anchor alongside Julia Dunn CBS 6,” the outlet captioned a snap of Dunn reporting alongside Jaquith’s replacement coanchor.

Jaquith announced her pregnancy earlier this year while sharing photos of herself participating in the RunDisney Princess Half Marathon at Disney World via Instagram. “Crossed one finish line, still 3 months to go on the other,” she captioned the February 26 post. “Baby P coming soon 🍼👣❤.”

Jaquith has shared several snaps of her baby bump with her followers, even posing for a baby bump pic with Dunn in the news studio. “Bumpin’ 🤰🤰,” she captioned her March 12 Instagram upload.

Earlier this month, Jaquith and her husband celebrated their child’s imminent arrival with a Winnie-the-Pooh-themed baby shower. In her most recent Instagram upload, Jaquith shared sweet photos from their maternity photo shoot.

“Final days as a party of two 🤞🏻,” she excitedly captioned the Saturday, March 17, post.

Jennifer Garner's Best Motherhood Moments While Raising 3 Kids

Jennifer Garner has portrayed many memorable roles over the years, but none as loving as her role as a mom to her and her ex-husband Ben Affleck’s three kids.

The former couple tied the knot in June 2005 and started growing their family that same year. Violet arrived in December 2005, followed by Seraphina and Samuel, in 2009 and 2012, respectively.

Following the exes’ 2015 split, Garner and Affleck have been coparenting their brood. “It’s always a work in progress,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively in February 2020 of their dynamic.

“Things come up between them, but they are committed to doing the best they can for the kids,” the insider went on to tell Us. “They stay on top of things and have a lot of meetings and check-ins. They want to be the best parents they can for the kids. If they have differences, they keep it to themselves and don’t let it have an impact. They always put on happy faces for the kids and put their well-being first.”

Garner moved on with Cali Group CEO John Miller after she and Affleck finalized their divorce in October 2018.

“I have chilled out and stopped trying to be my mom,” Garner said in an interview with Katie Couric. “I can’t really complain about my kids. They’re pretty awesome. They humor me.”
Later that month, Garner joked to Jimmy Fallon that her kids think she “kill[s] the fun” at home. “I am so lame. I say, ‘No,’ to everything,” she quipped. “[My kids] call me the dragon. They have all these names for me."

"I am really thinking about my kids and what their experience is going to be,” the actress said of homeschooling her three kids during the coronavirus pandemic in an Instagram Live video. "They’re so lucky. … We have broadband, we have excellent teachers who can teach over Zoom — that is one in a million possibility in this world — and yet, it’s also a depressing one.”

Garner hilariously showed her daughter’s classmates how to properly hold a fan during an August 2020 Zoom call as a "#momforhire." Seraphina didn't like the lesson, Garner joked.

Garner decorated a fire hydrant with one of her daughters and named it Gloria. She told Ellen DeGeneres: "She just looked like she needed her personality to be set free, so we did. We went home and gathered things and put a mask on her. I hope that’s not against the law. If it is, that was me. Come on over. It was my daughter’s idea. Take her to jail."

During a March 2022 Late Late Show With James Corden appearance, Garner described a “mom fail” involving one of her children’s coaches. “Turns out it’s the one time in my life I replied all,” she said. “I replied to everyone on the team, to every parent.”

Violet made a rare public appearance alongside Garner at Joe Biden’s White House state dinner. She looked all grown up in a long, black V-neck gown, which complemented her mother’s dress of the same color. While Garner sported her hair down, Violet pulled hers up in a sleek bun and paired the look with red heels and a pair of clear glasses.
“The White House State Dinner last night felt like a dream. Thank you to @potus and @flotus for including me in the magical and elegant evening celebrating the friendship between US/ France with gracious President @emmanuelmacron and First Lady Macron,” Garner captioned pics and clips from the evening via Instagram, though none featured Violet. “My lovely date and I will remember it always.”

“Working moms … get all freaked out because we’re told constantly, ‘You have 18 summers, you have this much time … Time is fleeting,’” she said of motherhood struggles in an interview with Access Hollywood. “It makes you panic, and my mom has always said to me, ‘You're their mom forever. Don’t worry, you can do your job … your kids are gonna be so proud of you.’”
She added, “If you come from a place of expansiveness instead of feeling just like, ‘I can’t be a mom because I’m also working and I’m supposed to be guilty all the time,’ you better just lean into wherever you are, any day, right now, just be there when your kids show up and we’ll have a great time.”

Garner celebrated Violet’s high school graduation by sharing funny photos of herself crying before and after the ceremony via Instagram. “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣),” she captioned the pics.

In an essay for Yale University’s student-run Yale Global Health Review, Violet revealed she “spent the January fires in Los Angeles arguing with my mother in a hotel room.” She noted that Garner was “shell-shocked” and “astonished at the scale of destruction in the neighborhood where she raised myself and my siblings.”
Violet wrote that she was “surprised” by Garner’s level of shock at the disaster and said her brother asked her whether global warming had a role to play in the fires. “Hopefully, most of us understand the climate crisis better than my little brother,” she said.

Jessica Simpson Through the Years: Photos

Jessica Simpson has come a long way since introducing herself to the world as a young singer with memorable pipes.

Simpson made her mark with songs such as “I Wanna Love You Forever, “Irresistible,” “With You” and “Take My Breath Away” at the turn of the century. After marrying longtime boyfriend Nick Lachey in October 2002, the couple made the transition to reality TV with MTV’s Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The actress won over viewers with her string of laughable one-liners.

She tried her hand at acting, appearing in The Dukes of Hazzard, Employee of the Month, Blonde Ambition and other films, before finding her niche by launching her highly successful clothing collection.

Simpson separated from Lachey in 2005 and went on to date John Mayer and Tony Romo before getting engaged to Eric Johnson in 2010. They welcomed kids Maxwell and Ace in 2012 and 2013, respectively, before tying the knot in 2014. Their youngest child, daughter Birdie, was born in 2019.

After sparking split speculation in late 2024, the spouses officially announced their separation after 10 years of marriage in January 2025.

Simpson revealed in her memoir, Open Book, that she was sexually abused at age 6 while sharing “a bed with the daughter of a family friend.” She described the experience as “extremely uncomfortable,” and recalled worrying that she was at fault. Simpson also admitted that she became dependent on alcohol and pills while coping with the trauma, writing, “I was killing myself.” She became sober in November 2017. In her book, she also looked back on her relationships with Lachey, Mayer and other exes.

To celebrate her 10th anniversary with Johnson in May 2020, Simpson wrote via Instagram, “I let him in and never let him leave. He is mine, I am his…forever.” Six weeks later, the couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. “I married my perfect soulmate. Our unity was written in God’s sky of colliding stars,” the author gushed.

During a Today show appearance in April, the "Where You Are" songstress said she'd developed a better relationship with her body than she'd had in years after throwing out her scale. “She wants to set a great example for her children and be a role model to them,” a source told Us the following month. “With them getting older, they’re going to go through body changes soon, so she just wants to make sure she can properly educate them on what being healthy really means.”
In July, Simpson and Johnson celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. The Yale alum marked the occasion by sharing never-before-seen photos from the ceremony via Instagram. “Jessica, I love you,” he wrote. “7 years into marriage and you still make me laugh just as hard as day one. I had fun yesterday celebrating us. Our kids bring us so much joy and they could not be luckier to have such a fiercely empowered, unique, beautiful mama. I love you, babe!!! Happy Anniversary!”

In January, Simpson reflected on how it felt to reclaim her name after buying her business back the previous year. "My name was on it,” she told Bloomberg at the time. “I don’t ever move away from my name.” The company had been sold in 2015 to Sequential Brand Group Inc., but Simpson and her mother were able to buy the brand back after Sequential declared bankruptcy in August 2021.
After regaining control, the Employee of the Month star planned to invest as much time, energy and money into her business as possible. “I am draining my bank account,” she explained during an April appearance on The Real. “I have no working credit card. It’s OK. I will pay in cash. I went to Taco Bell the other day and my card got denied. I’m on a budget, ladies!” Despite the sacrifices, however, Simpson was happy to be back in charge. "I’m the person that you get mad at at the blackjack table," she added. "I’ll put it all out there if it’s me that’s driving the show, because I believe in myself and I know what I can do. And I know that nothing will stop me, and if you try to stop me, I’ll try harder.”

In honor of her 43rd birthday, Simpson posted a selfie sans makeup, admitting she “curled” her lashes for the look. The makeup-free snap came one week after she addressed the rumors that she was using Ozempic to help maintain her figure.
“Oh Lord … it is not [Ozempic],” she told Bustle in a July 2023 interview. “It’s willpower. Do people want me to be drinking again? Because that’s when I was heavier. Or they want me to be having another baby? My body can’t do it.”

Simpson hinted that her marriage was on the rocks while teasing her new music. “This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve 🎶 🎼 🤍🖤,” she wrote via Instagram in November 2024.
Later that month, a source exclusively told Us that the pair — who were both spotted without their wedding rings — were “living separately” while “trying to figure out a separation without disrupting their kids’ lives as much as possible.”
A second source told Us that Simpson was “heartbroken” and that the breakup was “not an easy decision for her.”

Simpson and Johnson officially announced their split in January 2025. “Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” she told Us in a statement at the time. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”
The two remained cordial amid the split, as Simpson told People the following month that Johnson was “still very much a part of my life and will always be.” She also shared in an interview with The Cut that her ex was supportive of her new music, stating, “It is a gift. Eric supported that gift. My kids supported that gift.”
Simpson dropped her first song in 15 years, “Use My Heart Against Me,” in February 2025 and released her Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1 EP the following month. After making her return to the stage shortly before her record’s release, Simpson made her first TV appearance in 15 years on the season 23 finale of American Idol. She performed two tracks, including her new song “Blame Me” and her cover of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” with contestant Josh King.

Travis Kelce Calls Himself a 'Furry Son of a Bitch,' Hypes Chiefs Brazil Game

Travis Kelce is pumped about opening the 2025-2026 Kansas City Chiefs season in Brazil, but he isn’t looking forward to the potential heat.

“The season opener against the Chargers is on a Friday night in beautiful São Paulo, Brazil. Can’t wait to get down there and see all the Brazil fans and how they get rocking for some American football,” Travis, 35, said on the Wednesday, May 21, episode of the “New Heights” podcast.

His brother, Jason Kelce, went on to note, “Apparently September in São Paulo is not hot. So, we don’t have to worry about that. We were assured.”

The Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers will travel to South America for their first game of the NFL season on September 5. While Jason, 37, said some Brazilian fans were “under the impression that we don’t like international games,” the former Philadelphia Eagles player clarified that he and Travis “just don’t like the heat.”

Travis Kelce Gets a New Haircut Amid NFL Offseason

Travis, who was wearing “two shirts” while filming the episode, attributed his struggles with warm weather to being a “furry son of a bitch.” He quipped, “Me and heat just don’t do well together. So, I apologize if it came off as if I’m not excited about this. I’m still excited, I’m just gonna be doing some wardrobe changes throughout the game.”

Earlier in the NFL schedule discussion, Travis emphasized his love for playing abroad. “Don’t get me wrong, I love playing at Arrowhead [Stadium], I love playing in America. But I’m down with at least one or two international games,” the tight end stated. “Get me out of this country. I wanna play in front of some new fans, man.”

The Chiefs will follow up the Brazil trip with their first home game of the season against the Eagles on September 14.

Travis has become famous for his sense of style — and he has also rocked several haircuts over the years, from his buzzed head to his current flowy locks. Last month, celebrity barber Vince Garcia shut down rumors that the athlete’s long hairstyle is due to a hair transplant.

“Nah, not at all man,” Garcia exclusively told Us Weekly. “That’s a full head of hair right there.”

He went on to gush about his friendship with Travis, who has sat in his barber’s chair for several years. “Throughout the years, he’ll come to my barbershop [or] he’ll come to my house and get cut. The majority of his commercials I’ve done with him,” Garcia shared. “He keeps me around to get him ready for an appearance or a TV show. Over the years of doing that consistently with him, it’s just like any relationship. The more you see each other, the more you grow personally. … He’s a great dude, man. A great friend, as well.”

Following rumors that Travis would retire after the 2024-2025 NFL season, ESPN’s Pat McAfee confirmed in February that the Chiefs player would return for another season. “My dawg!!! I’m coming back for sure,” McAfee, 38, read off a note from Travis on the February 26 episode of The Pat McAfee Show. “I’m gonna try to get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop. Got a real bad taste in my mouth with how I played in that last game and how I got the guys ready for battle.”

Ahead of the upcoming season, Travis has been spending quality time with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and enjoying the $20 million Florida mansion he’s currently renting.

(Kotb shares kids Haley, 9, and Hope, 6, with her ex-fiancé, Joel Schiffman.)

She once again wished fans a good morning and “Happy Wednesday” in the post’s caption, adding, “Countdown xoxo Cant wait to share! Link in bio xoxo.”

Hoda Kotb's Next Career Moves After 'Today' Exit: New Book and More

Kotb’s website opens with footage from her October 2024 Making Space Wellness Weekend in Texas, followed by a quote from B. Atkinson as you scroll down. “And the dandelion does not stop growing, because it is told it is a weed,” the quote read. “The dandelion does not care what others see. It says, ‘One day, they’ll be making wishes upon me.’”

While the website doesn’t provide many details about Kotb’s new brand at the moment, it features her Instagram feed, her “Jumping to Joy!” Spotify playlist and links to her “Making Space” podcast and her 2020 book, This Just Speaks to Me.

Shortly before bidding farewell to the Today show on January 10, Kotb revealed she was “starting a wellness app and company” during a January 6 appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show. She explained, “[It] will involve retreats and a podcast and all kinds of things that we can get together, do things that I love. It’s not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but this is something that when you leave, you’ll go like, ‘Oh my gosh, I feel transformed. I feel different.’”

At the time, Kotb said the company was still in the “building process” and that the app was expecting to launch in the spring.

Kotb’s wellness community isn’t her only post-Today project. Back in March, she appeared on Today via video message to announce her new book, Jump and Find Joy, which will hit bookshelves later this year.

“Everybody in their life, at one point, stands on the edge of something and says, ‘Should I jump? Should I try? Should I go for it?’” she said on the NBC morning show. “And I felt that way about the Today show, and I was terrified to even think about jumping. … Here’s my thing, you get one life. That’s all. That’s it. It’s ready for the taking. It only takes a jump.”

In February, Kotb teased via Instagram that she is also teaming up with Joanna Gaines for a new project. “Remember i was talking about repotting — gotta take first steps … We have something fun cooking!” she teased. “Come along on the great adventure … Stay tuned! love @joannagaines.”

That same month, Kotb exclusively told Us Weekly that she has “no FOMO” about her Today departure. “I knew 100 [percent]. I don’t have an ounce of it,” she explained. “[It] doesn’t mean I didn’t love it. At the end when my heart broke, I was like, ‘That’s love.’ But it also is, I feel like my gaze is set forward.”

See Enya's Historic Castle in Ireland Where Reclusive Singer Lives

Enya’s Irish estate is straight out of a fairytale.

The beloved singer/songwriter, 64, best known for classic New Age-pop songs like “Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)” has long lived in a secluded, historic Irish castle. Enya (real name Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin) purchased Manderley Castle outside of Dublin for a reported 3.8 million Euros (around $4.1 million) in 1997. Unmarried with no kids, the Grammy winner lives a life of privacy with her pet cats.

“It’s very castle on the exterior, but it’s very much a home inside,” she said of the property in an interview with The Guardian in November 2000. “It’s actually a very small castle and I fell in love with it.”

Among her famous neighbors is fellow Irish musician Bono. “When I first walked in, someone said it overlooked Bono’s,” she told the outlet. “I thought, ‘Hmm, so it does.’”

Revisit the 'SNL' Performance That Got Sinead O'Connor Banned for Life

Over a decade later, she told The Guardian in a November 2015 interview that the best part about living in her own personal castle is the views. “In the morning I open the shutters – you’ll note in the castle it’s shutters, not curtains – and I look out onto the Irish sea,” she gushed. “It’s beautiful and very inspirational.”

Not many details are known about the property, which is reportedly surrounded by 3.5 acres of gardens. The location was previously known as Victoria Castle and Ayesha Castle before Enya renamed it Manderley after the fictional manor from the Daphne du Maurier novel Rebecca.

Per the Sunday Times, the castle is surrounded by “9ft stone walls and a solid timber gate” and offers views of the Irish Sea. The residence has intrigued Enya’s fans for years, some disturbingly so: a stalker broke into the property and tied up a maid in 2005, while another person even stabbed himself after being thrown out of Enya’s family’s pub in Donegal.

Enya has never shared a look inside the home, focusing her social media presence on her work rather than her personal life. Her privacy is something Enya said her fans “really understand” in a September 2017 interview with The Believer. “They’ll ask for an autograph and they’ll just leave,” she explained. “They are very understanding to the way that I like to live, and to the fact that I’ve always pushed the music, rather than myself, forward. I always say that fame and success are two different things.”

Jérôme Fernandes, a restaurant owner whose business is near Enya’s home, told the Sunday Times last month that the singer is “rarely seen these days” but is “still very much respected” in the community.

Enya’s Reclusive Life: 'Sail Away' Singer Lives in Castle With Her Cats

Another local resident, Pam Cooney, added, “I’ve never seen her out and about, and we get many stars either going to the pub or enjoying a meal in the village. Nevertheless, if Enya doesn’t choose to go out in public much, that’s her business alone. She’s had an incredibly successful career and deserves to spend her time as she wishes.”

Amid her famed reclusiveness, Enya made a rare public appearance at the Grammy Awards back in February 2017, where she was nominated for Best New Age Album for her album Dark Sky Island. She maintained her signature black bob hairstyle while sporting a simple and chic white dress with a beaded mesh shoulder covering.

Willie Robertson Says Dad Phil and Mom Kay's Health Issues Are Progressing

As Duck Dynasty alum Phil Robertson continues to battle Alzheimer’s, his wife, Kay Robertson, is facing health challenges of her own.

“Dad’s not doing well at all. It’s definitely progressing,” their son Willie Robertson exclusively shares in Us Weekly’s latest cover story. “And mom has shown the same type of symptoms of Alzheimer’s or dementia. It’s just part of life — and mom has her good days.”

Willie, 53, notes it was “great” to have his mother make an appearance on the upcoming series Duck Dynasty: The Revival, but tells Us fans of the original reality show shouldn’t expect frequent cameos. “She’s probably not going to be able to do that in the future,” he says. “She also has more health problems, as well. But we’re there.”

The family’s close-knit relationship has been stronger than ever amid Phil, 79, and Kay’s health struggles. “We [still] spend time together, but they lived a great journey and taught us a lot,” Willie tells Us. “[My wife] Korie [Robertson] and I are very appreciative of what we were able to do on Duck Dynasty, to be able to see that.”

Which 'Duck Dynasty' Stars Are — And Aren't — Returning for Revival

Reflecting on his parents’ reality TV stardom, he continued, “I think people don’t realize [when] the show started for them and Uncle Si [Robertson], they were all in their mid-sixties, and so they were retired and pretty much done. They thought they’d done everything in life. And so, for them to have that last push and be on television, and I’m just glad that people got to see them and enjoy that when we had that time.”

Willie is one of Phil and Kay’s four children, including brothers Alan, Jase and Jep. In 2020, Phil learned he is also father of a daughter named Phyllis following an affair he had in the ‘70s.

On a December 2024 episode of the “Unashamed with the Robertson Family” podcast, Jase, 55, revealed that his father had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Jase told his podcast listeners last month that Phil’s health “hasn’t been good.”

Amid a “really difficult” past year, Korie, 51, tells Us it’s been “sweet” to see how her husband has stepped up to look after his parents. “They’ve just come together and just really, it’s brought the family together in a way,” she explains. “And I know sometimes that can be something that tears families apart, but for our family, everyone’s just come around and brought them together.”

Willie agreed that his parents’ health gives him a greater appreciation for the “small, tiny moments” in life, in addition to bringing him and his siblings closer. “I’m glad they’re here,” he says. “I’m glad I get to see them a lot, too, ‘cause I know a lot of families don’t get to see each other a lot, but we do. It really has meant a lot.”

Fans will soon get to see the famous family back on screen when Duck Dynasty: The Revival premieres on Friday, June 1. The cast includes Willie and Korie’s daughter Sadie Robertson, who also exclusively opens up about her grandparents’ health in Us’ newest cover story. (Willie and Kori share a total of six kids, including Rebecca, 36, John, 29, Will, 23, Bella, 22, and Rowdy, 22.)

'Duck Dynasty' Cast: Where Are They Now?

“Kind of a silver lining, blessing in disguise, is that their love for one another is so prevalent in the most beautiful way through such a tragic situation,” Sadie, 27, tells Us. “Just seeing two people love each other that much, who have loved each other since they were 15 years old, is so inspiring when it comes to love and going through hard times. And so, it has been very hard to watch them go through what they’ve gone through but seeing them comfort each other and it has been really, really beautiful.”

Jessica Simpson Says She Was 'Dying' During 'American Idol' Performance

While Jessica Simpson came off as cool during her American Idol season 23 finale performance, she was actually a bundle of nerves on the inside.

“Oh, my God, I was dying,” Simpson, 44, quipped in an interview with Extra published Monday, May 19. “I can’t even tell you how long it’s been since I’ve been that nervous. Like, I had to put hairspray on my feet to stand still, like, not that it actually keeps me put, but, like, my feet were sweating. I’m like, ‘My feet don’t sweat.’”

She added, “I just kept telling myself, ‘Do not cry. Do not cry. I know this is a big moment … do not cry.’ And then I see my dad [Joe Simpson], like, up in the corner and I’m like, ‘Ah, I’m going to cry. I’m going to cry. Do not cry. Just sing your songs. Just sing your songs.’”

Jessica took to the stage during American Idol’s Sunday, May 18, finale to perform her new song “Blame Me” and her version of Nancy Sinatra’s 1966 hit “These Boots Are Made for Walkin.’” She was joined by contestant Josh King, who was eliminated earlier in the season after a performance of the former song.

Jessica Simpson Jokes She's 'Very Single' After Eric Johnson Separation

Host Ryan Seacrest noted that the performance marked Jessica’s first TV appearance in 15 years.

“That’s a really long time, and, like, the last time was a Christmas song, so that’s easy,” Simpson told Extra after the episode. “So, this is my new EP Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1, I mean, Pt. 2 comes in the summer, but it is so much a part of my soul, and so to sing a song off of that I felt naked, to be honest, like, it was very bare and raw and very vulnerable.”

In addition to receiving applause from the show’s live audience, Jessica also got support from her kids back at home. “I had my kids FaceTiming everybody to tell me I did a good job,” she shared. “And I haven’t gotten to talk to them yet, but I’m so excited to talk to them because they’ve never seen me sing live like that.”

Jessica shares Maxwell, 13, Ace, 11, and Birdie, 6, with her estranged husband, Eric Johnson. After sparking split rumors in late 2024, the pair officially announced in January that they were separating after 10 years of marriage. The two have not filed for divorce.

“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” she said in a January 13 statement to Us Weekly. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”

Jessica Simpson Says New EP Is About 'Learning to Hear My Heart Again'

Despite their split, Jessica praised Johnson, 45, for supporting her return to music in a February interview with The Cut. “It is a gift. Eric supported that gift. My kids supported that gift,” she gushed.

A source exclusively told Us earlier this month that the exes “are getting along well and everyone seems to be very happy,” adding, “They talk and see each other all the time and have decided that no matter what happens, they will get along for the kids.”

Jessica released her Nashville Canyon, Pt. 1 EP in March and performed on stage for the first time in 15 years at the Recording Academy’s Austin Chapter Block Party during SXSW in Austin, Texas, that same month.

After dancing across the country on the Dancing With the Stars Live tour, Emma Slater and Alan Bersten spent some quality time together in New York City.

Slater, 36, cheered on Bersten, 30, as he competed in the 2025 RBC Brooklyn Half marathon on Saturday, May 17. “We did it!!!! My first half marathon! That was so hard! My official time was 1:38:43!” Bersten captioned Instagram snaps of himself posing for post-race pics with pal Danny Lawn and Slater. “Shout out to all these incredible runners. So proud of you @dannydlawn and I’m so happy @theemmaslater was here to support me!!”

Slater was a proud girlfriend at the event, even holding Bersten in her arms for a funny photo. Bersten posted another sweet photo of himself and Slater via Instagram the following day, writing, “My whole life people have always put me in a box, told me what I can and can’t do. And people have told me ‘I’m just a dancer’. I wanted to show everyone what I already know is true. That dancers are athletes too, and you truly can do anything you put your mind to!”

Slater shared the snaps of herself holding Bersten via her own Instagram on Saturday and wrote that she was “proud” of him.

Following some downtime, the pair attended The Outsiders musical on Broadway. The duo got to the theater just in time, as Slater quipped in a Monday, May 19, Snapchat video that they had “one minute until the show starts.”

She and Bersten also managed to snap a selfie together at the show, which she later shared via Snapchat. “Snap gets the good stuff,” she jokingly wrote alongside the pic. “Sshhhh don’t tell anyone.”

After seeing the Tony Award-winning show, Slater and Bersten topped off the night by grabbing a delicious meal, complete with cheesecake, mousse and profiteroles for dessert.

Slater and Bersten’s NYC trip marks one of their first major outings together since Us Weekly confirmed they were “hooking up” back in October 2024. “[The romance is] not new, it’s ongoing,” a source exclusively shared at the time.

Bersten previously sparked a showmance with his DWTS season 27 partner, Alexis Ren, in 2018, which they ended that same year. He was later linked to season 31 contestant Gabby Windey in 2023, though the pair never officially dated.

Slater, for her part, tied the knot with fellow DWTS pro Sasha Farber in 2018. They called it quits after four years of marriage in August 2022. Slater filed for divorce in February 2023, and the terms were finalized shortly after.

Diddy's $61.5M Los Angeles Mansion Is Still on the Market: See Pics

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex crimes trial continues in New York, his Los Angeles mansion continues to sit on the real estate market.

The rapper’s California residence is still for sale eight months after it was first listed. Diddy, 55, listed the property at an asking price of $61.5 million in September 2024, shortly before he was arrested in New York City and indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. (He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.)

Diddy reportedly purchased the property, which is located in L.A.’s Holmby Hills neighborhood, for $39 million. The home features 10 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms and sits on 1.3 acres. The main house includes several amenities, including a formal dining room, a regular and catering kitchen, a wine cellar and a home theater that seats 35 people, per multiple outlets.

The lot also includes a two-story guesthouse with its own bedrooms, a gym and an at-home recording studio. The home’s spacious backyard is just as impressive, featuring a swimming pool, basketball court, loggia, spa house, pizza oven and barbecue bar.

Kid Cudi Expected to Testify in Diddy Trial After Cassie Romance

Standing tall outside near the side of the house is a silver, metallic statue of a female torso. Bordering the art piece are decorative hedges shaped in an X pattern.

Despite the house’s luxurious qualities, Diddy’s former residence has yet to find a buyer. “When they buy a home at that price point, they like to brag about it,” Landmark Research Group partner Michael Tachovsky told Business Insider in an article published Monday, May 19. “P. Diddy’s reputation, at the current time, really isn’t a positive bragging point for a potential buyer. It can play into perceptions, and when there’s a negative perception with a property, it just makes it harder to sell.”

Belwood Investments founder Bo Belmont made a $30 million offer on the house back in November 2024. “I want to remove the stigma and focus on the charming elegance of this remarkable property,” he said in a press release at the time. “We intend major renovations and especially want to recapture the beautiful, bucolic setting of the outside grounds, with its picturesque trees, foliage, and walkways. This prominent estate will be a great asset to our growing portfolio of luxury properties.”

Cassie Says Hotel Video Shows Diddy Trying to Drag Her Back to a Freak Off

Diddy’s L.A. home made headlines in March 2024 when it was one of his properties raided by Homeland Security in connection to a sex trafficking investigation. In his September 2024 indictment, it was revealed law enforcement seized supplies for his alleged sex parties known as “freak offs,” including “narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” and multiple firearms.

Diddy’s trial kicked off in New York City earlier this month, with his ex-girlfriend Cassie taking the stand to testify after filing and settling a civil lawsuit against him in November 2023. (Diddy denied Cassie’s allegations at the time and has continued to deny all accusations against him.)

Among her testimony’s many claims, Cassie, 38, alleged on Friday, May 16, that the 2016 hotel security camera footage published by CNN last year showed him dragging her back to their room to participate in a freak off.

Courtney Stodden Mocks Chrissy Teigen's Alcohol Relapse Announcement

Courtney Stodden has some thoughts on Chrissy Teigen‘s revelation about a recent alcohol relapse.

“OK, breaking news. I decided that I’m gonna start drinking alcohol again,” Stodden, 30, said in a Saturday, May 17, Instagram video before doing a cheers with her phone camera and a glass of champagne. “Breaking news!”

She added, “There’s nothing more important in this world than knowing that I am not gonna be sober. I’m having alcohol and I want everyone to know ‘cause it’s really important.”

Stodden confirmed the clip was directed at Teigen, writing, “Breaking news I started drinking again too Chrissy soooo here is my official invite — let’s grab a drink and bury the hatchet mama #iykyk #chrissyteigen @chrissyteigen.”

Bravo Stars Who Have Spoken About Doing Drugs: Jax, Carl and More

Us Weekly has reached out to Teigen’s reps for comment.

Earlier this month, Teigen, 39, revealed that she let alcohol “back into my life” after previously going sober. “The truth is, I don’t know what I’m doing. I one hundred percent know I like me better sober. I one hundred percent know I get more done, I absolutely feel better in my body without it,” she shared in a lengthy Instagram statement on Thursday, May 15. “And I am one hundred percent pissed that I can’t be normal and have a cocktail with my husband on vacay without it turning into 8 and feeling like s***.”

Teigen explained that her relationship with sobriety has “changed for the better” and that she knows her relationship with alcohol will “never” be normal. “This is for all the people who are figuring it out,” she concluded her message. “And to the sober community, god I am still so, so proud of you. Until we meet again 😭.”

Teigen has been candid about her sobriety journey over the years. “I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show,” she told Cosmopolitan in August 2017. “And then I felt bad for making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for [my husband] John [Legend], for anybody.”

Teigen also shares a complicated history with Stodden, who had accused her of cyberbullying and telling her to kill herself in May 2021. Teigen apologized shortly after, writing in a since-deleted X post, “Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls*** in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll.”

She added, “I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel.”

Earlier this year, Stodden revealed she previously contemplated suicide after being cyberbullied as a teenager. “I had a suicide letter written,” she revealed in the ABC News documentary IMPACT x Nightline: Confessions of a Child Bride in March. “I remember my last thought was, ‘You know, maybe I don’t deserve to be here when people that high up are telling me I don’t deserve to be.’”

She went on to address Teigen’s comments. “I know she’s saying that this was from alcohol or whatever she wanted to say it was from: Saying this to a child when you’re the queen of Twitter, it was so much,” Stodden stated. (Us reached out to Teigen’s reps for comment at the time.)

Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie Are Godmothers to Each Other's Kids

Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie are close friends both on and off the small screen.

The besties celebrated the first day of their week-long Today With Jenna & Friends cohosting gig on Monday, May 19. Bush Hager, 43, and Guthrie, 53, reflected on their longtime friendship in a sweet video package, during which they opened up about being godmothers to each other’s kids.

“When Jenna asked me to be Hal’s godmother, I just felt so special,” Guthrie said in the clip. “I mean, it’s the greatest compliment a person could receive.” Bush Hager shares her daughters Mila, 12, and Poppy, 9, and son Hal, 5, with her husband, Henry Hager.

Guthrie later returned the heartfelt gesture by asking Bush Hager to be her daughter Vale’s godmother. The Today anchor shares Vale, 10, and her son Charley, 8, with her husband, Michael Feldman.

Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie Take Ultimate Trip With Daughters

“It made perfect sense that the person that I speak to faith most about would be in [Hal’s] life to help shape him in that way,” Bush Hager stated. “And then, when she asked me to be Vale’s godmother, it was really beautiful.”

For Guthrie, she wanted the act to signify the closeness between them. “I know she knows what it means to me,” she shared. “I also wanted to just say to Jenna, ‘You are one of my closest friends and I am handing you my heart,’ ‘cause my little girl is my heart.”

The pair’s connection began long before they joined Today, as Guthrie reported on Bush Hager’s Texas wedding for NBC News in 2008. In Monday’s video package, Guthrie said she and Bush Hager “clicked right away” when she joined the Today family in 2011. (Bush Hager first joined Today as a correspondent in 2009.)

“There was something, sort of, in our DNA that spoke to each other,” Bush Hager explained of the pair’s bond. “And I felt like even though I was meeting her for the first time, I’d known her for many, many years.”

In addition to sharing similar senses of humor and living close to each other in New York City, having kids at around the same time helped their friendship grow deeper. Guthrie gave birth to Vale in 2014, one year before Bush Hager welcomed Poppy.

“We’ve literally raised our children together. They have, like, a sister relationship, almost,” Bush Hager said of her and Guthrie’s daughters. “And our kids went to the same school, so we would fill in for one another. If I was on a shoot, I would say, ‘Oh, my gosh. I’m running late. Can you pick up the kids from the bus?’”

Guthrie, for her part, added, “We came to really rely on each other. I think we both love that this friendship is now multi-generational and it’s well beyond us.”

Following the video package, Guthrie called Bush Hager her “favorite subject” to talk about, while Bush Hager said the “luckiest thing” about her job on Today was becoming friends with the anchor.

Bush Hager has hosted the fourth hour of Today with a lineup of celebrity guest hosts since Hoda Kotb exited the NBC morning show in January. Guthrie will continue to sit alongside Bush Hager through Friday, May 23.
