Anna Kendrick’s former Hollywood Hills ‘starter home’ has sold for nearly $2.4 million.
The Pitch Perfect actress’s property was on the market for less than a month before it sold for more than double the $1 million Kendrick paid for it in 2012, reports Realtor.
Kendrick’s real estate team were able to sell the 2,700-square-foot residence for the listing price of $2.395 million without having to lower the price tag — unlike nearby listings from Jessica Simpson, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez and Diane Keaton where prices were dramatically slashed earlier this year.
The Academy Award-nominated actress lived at the Beachwood Canyon residence between 2012 and 2022, and has since rented out the property for nearly $10,000 a month. The house was originally built in the 1930s.
The single-family Hollywood Hills dwelling boasts three bedrooms across two floors, as well as amenities such as a spa-inspired bathroom attached to the 1,200-square-foot master bedroom. Both the living room and patio have bespoke fireplaces.
The lucky buyer will be able to enjoy panoramic views of both Century City and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Kendrick engaged in an extensive renovation process since moving out of the residence to add Hickory flooring and a modern-style marble kitchen island.
After moving out of Beachwood Canyon in 2022, Kendrick paid $7 million for a nearby Hollywood Hills mansion that sits atop a hill.
Kendrick opened up to Harper’s Bazaar about the importance of feeling comfortable in her home in October 2024. She admitted that she spent a lot of time on her comfy couch to avoid the trappings of fame.
“I deal with fame by being a couch potato of the highest order,” she joked. “But I also have always found that I can mostly move around without an issue just because, frankly, I’m shorter than most people realize. I’m so incognito when I have a baseball hat on – nobody really notices me, it’s a real luxury.”
She went on, “There are times where I’ve hung out with actors who are really tall, and I’m like, ‘I would go to you in a crowd anyway, because you’re this striking-looking person who is seven feet tall, and then I realize you’re that guy from that thing.’ Being recognized isn’t such a problem for me, I’m happy to report.”
Kendrick recently reunited with Blake Lively for the long-awaited sequel Another Simple Favor, which premiered on Prime Video on May 1. While there have been rumors of Kendrick and Lively feuding, Another Simple Favor director Paul Feig insisted there was no bad blood behind the scenes.
“Any controversy is good. I’m always like, ‘No press is bad press,’” Feig said on iHeartRadio’s “Amy & TJ” podcast in April. “But I just know these people, and I like these people so much that I work with that I want to defend them when somebody is just [telling] blatant lies. It makes me crazy.”

The veteran quarterback weighed in on the shirtless photos of Swift’s boyfriend that recently made the rounds on the internet. In them, Kelce’s copious back hair is fully visible.
“God bless Taylor Swift for being good with that,” Cousins, 36, told E! News in a story published Wednesday, May 21. “That’s awesome. Good for her.”
Cousins was quick to add that he does not have the same problem as his fellow athlete.
“Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with that, but I’m in a locker room a lot,” he added. “That’s just a part of life. It is what it is.”
Travis, 35, spoke about his back hair on the Wednesday episode of his “New Heights” podcast, which he hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. The two were discussing the NFL scheduling international games, with Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Los Angeles Rams in Brazil this September.
Travis explained he doesn’t like playing in the heat, dubbing himself a “furry son of a bitch.”

“Me and heat just don’t do well together,” he said. “So, I apologize if it came off as if I’m not excited about this. I’m still excited, I’m just gonna be doing some wardrobe changes throughout the game.”
Travis’ back hair is nothing new. Jason, 37, took time to razz his brother about it on a 2022 episode of “New Heights,” explaining where his brother got the nickname “Big Yeti.”

“In fairness I think it was a little cold,” joked Jason, who took the teasing in stride. “Those are just thermostats working. It was a little breezy that day.”
Wendy Williams’ current living arrangements are being put under the spotlight once again.
After the ID Channel premiered a new special titled TRAPPED: What Is Happening to Wendy Williams?, some fans grew concerned about a claim that Williams, 60, was moved to a more restrictive area in her New York City assisted living facility after drinking on her birthday in July 2024.
According to a source, Williams did in fact get drunk while celebrating at a rooftop bar. The incident, however, didn’t have an impact on where she lived.
“She was always supposed to be on the fifth floor,” a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly. “But she got a temporary room on the third floor [which allowed her more access]. It was not a punishment [to move her to the fifth floor]. It was always going to be her room. She was just waiting for it to be empty.”
A source described Williams’ guardianship as like “a bad movie” and questioned why the talk show host was placed at a facility with a bar if the guardian knew she had issues with substance abuse.
Williams was originally placed in a guardianship in 2022 and diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD) the following year.
While appearing on The View in March, Williams admitted that she “celebrated” her 60th birthday in July 2024, but insisted that she is now sober.

“[My] relationship [with substances] is fine and is wonderful,” she shared. “I’ve had my [vices] and I have to tell you something: I am easily going on with my life, alcohol-free.”
Last year, the former talk show host’s guardian Sabrina Morrissey filed a memo saying she’d become “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated” following a diagnosis of early-onset dementia.
But Williams insisted to the ladies of The View that she is not cognitively impaired and does not know why she is being kept in a “memory unit” at an assisted living facility: “Get off my neck,” she said in the phone interview of her guardian and the judge who ordered the guardianship.
She added she just wants to “move on with my life: “It’s time for my money and my life to get back to status quo,” Williams said on The View.
Instead of discussing hot topics through a talk show or radio show, Williams tries to keep herself busy with her current living arrangements, the source told Us.
“She goes to the gym a couple times a week and she spends a lot of time in her room unless she has appointments,” the source shared. “She can see her family, but anyone else needs permission from her guardian.”
Williams is in “good spirits” after she obtained new attorneys, with the source adding they are working to help get Williams out of the guardianship.
“They have her best interests at heart. Moving forward, everything should be better for her,” the source claimed. “Whatever is best for Wendy, they will go through the proper channels and it will be in Wendy’s best interest.”
Although fans are unable to receive regular updates directly from the TV personality, the source said she is “positive and happy” – especially after gaining new legal representation.
“It’s not like it was before because there are people who are actually working on her case,” the source explained. “I believe Wendy will get out, but barriers will be put in place to protect her. I believe at some point, she will have as much independence as she can handle.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Williams’ attorney and guardian for comment.
Teresa Giudiceand Joe Giudice’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, has grown up before Bravo fans’ eyes.
Gia was 8 years old when Real Housewives of New Jersey, which also featured her sisters Gabriella (born 2004) and Milania (2005), filmed season 1. At the first reunion, fans learned Teresa was pregnant with her fourth baby girl. Teresa gave birth to daughter Audriana in September 2009.
When Gia was 13, her parents pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud. Teresa served 11 months in jail and was released in December 2015. After she came home, Joe served his three-year sentence. Following his 2019 release, Joe was deported to his native Italy and has since permanently relocated to the Bahamas.
While Joe and Teresa continued to live separate lives, Gia went on to study criminal justice at Rutgers University after her family experienced several legal issues of their own.
In April 2025, Bravo announced that Gia would appear on a new show titled Next Gen NYC with several other kids from the Real Housewives, including Kim Zolciak’s daughter Ariana Biermann and Kandi Burruss’ daughter Riley Burruss.

But also to help my fans if they’re also dealing with any hard times.”
Later that month, Gia defended her mother after the news that she was hit with approximately $3 million in tax liens by the IRS.
“My mom has been the sole provider for my sisters and I since the minute my father left for prison,” Gia said on her podcast. “The second my mom got home from jail, she has been working her ass off to make sure that my sisters and I live a stable life and that my family is financially stable. My mom has everything under control, and there’s nothing to worry about. … We’re doing perfectly fine over here”

Reflecting on the experience during the Wednesday, May 21, episode of The View, Biel, 43, revealed that she was also “covered in blood” for her screen-test with Gosling, 44.
“I’m racking my brain to make sure I didn’t accentuate this story,” Biel quipped. “I was shooting The Texas Chainsaw Massacre [when] I was super young.”
According to Biel, she was still wearing the fake blood when she went to read for the role in the 2004 romantic drama.
“It was going to be the greatest option for me in my career,” Biel recalled. “Ryan and the director, [Nick Cassavetes], came to my trailer. They came to us on location, and we auditioned in my trailer at work — and I didn’t get it.”
She added, “In my mind, I just remember having blood on me and being in that white tank top. [I] took my cowboy hat off and was, like, ‘OK, I’d love to fall in love with you. Let’s do this.’ It was [a] very strange, very Hollywood moment.”

David Beckhamhas his sights set on knighthood as his relationship with King Charles continues to blossom.
“Beckham has done so much charity work with Charles and they are very close,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “Charles even gave Beckham a birthday present for David’s 50th [birthday].”
The friendship of Beckham, 50, and Charles, 76, was on full display at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, May 19, where the King was overheard asking Beckham if he had received his gift.
“[Beckham] really wants the knighthood, as he’s very patriotic and loves his country,” the source explained. “It’s in his grasp as he’s got past all his other scandals with his documentary and his charity work has been so impressive, but he’s worried this family scandal has been on all the front pages threatens to overshadow all his amazing charity work and could delay decisions about a knighthood.”
In the 2023 Netflix documentary Beckham, the former soccer star’s alleged affair in the early 2000s was discussed. While the matter was kept vague, Beckham’s wife, Victoria Beckham, called it the “hardest period in their marriage.”
The source added, “[David] loves the royal family and even queued on his own to pay tribute to the Queen when she died. He’s old school and respectful.”

At the center of the falling out is drama between Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who Romeo, 22, has been dating since last year.
The source told Us that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, offered a “separate meet-up” to celebrate David’s birthday in an attempt to avoid Turnbull, but David and Victoria declined the request.
A third insider has also told Us that the relationship between Victoria and Peltz, 30, has been filled with “bad blood” since between Brooklyn and Peltz tied the knot in April 2022.
“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the source explained. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”
In a tangled twist of fate, Harry, 40, and his wife, Meghan Markle, recently attended the same “intimate” dinner as Brooklyn and Peltz earlier this month. According to The Sun, the gathering happened “days after” Brooklyn and Peltz skipped David’s birthday party in London.
The foursome were all guests of Markle, 43, and Harry’s close friends, Paramount Pictures CEO Brian Robbins and his wife, Tracy Robbins, at their Montecito, California home.

Caitlyn further discussed the past relationship when releasing her The Secrets of My Life memoir in April 2017. She claimed that Kris knew about “my gender issues,” which the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum denied.

Caitlyn had her stepson Rob by her side when she got her ears pierced during an episode of KUWTK. The Arthur George founder even held Caitlyn’s hand as she got her new bling.
Caitlyn stood in for the late Robert Kardashian and walked Kim down the aisle when she married Kris Humphries. The pair split just 72 days later, but Caitlyn did the honors again when the Skims mogul wed Kanye West in 2014. (Kim and West called it quits in 2021.)
Khloé called Caitlyn out for her Vanity Fair interview, in which she claimed Kris “mistreated” her during their marriage.
“We want to be there and support you but we don't think that entails you speaking negatively about my mom. In our opinion you don't even need to mention my mom. Let's focus on the actual cause here and not drag my mum through the mud,” she said during an episode of I Am Cait.
Khloé claimed during a January appearance on the Howard Stern Show that she found out about Caitlyn’s transition at the same time as “business people.”
Noting that she felt “betrayed” by the gold medalist, the Khloé & Lamar alum said: “We felt so like, ‘What the f—k? We've been asking you and why do business people know?' … I don't give a f—k what you want to do. Just stop lying to us about things.”
During an episode of KUWTK that aired that May, Khloé claimed that her comments elicited a slew of angry text messages from Caitlyn.
"You slaughtered my mother and you have the nerve to say, 'What happened to family sticking together?' You jumped that ship as soon as you did Diane Sawyer and attacked my mom,” she vented to Kris. “She can tell me to f—k off all she wants. I don't have a relationship with her. I'm done.”
During the season 14 premiere of KUWTK in September, Kim slammed a claim Caitlyn made in her memoir — that her late father believed his friend O.J. Simpson was guilty of murder at one point, despite defending him in the infamous 1992 trial.
“I have always had Caitlyn’s back,” Kim said in the episode. “She is a liar. She is not a good person.”
That November, Caitlyn opened up about her estrangement from the Kardashian clan while giving a talk at Cambridge University.
"They don't want me in their lives, they bashed me pretty badly. It's devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt,” she said at the time. “In the book I express some opinions and got shot down. It was not about the Kardashians. They were only mentioned on 20 pages. They made it more about them on television. The book was about my life. That's caused a lot of the separation between us."
Despite past drama, Kim, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie all celebrated Caitlyn’s 70th birthday with her in October.
“Such a special birthday dinner with family. Love you all 🥰,” the I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! alum captioned an Instagram photo from the occasion. Khloé and Rob were missing from the picture.
During a January appearance on “The Skinny Confidential Him & Her” podcast, Caitlyn said that she and Kendall “have a lot in common,” noting that they are both athletic and have “the same attitude towards life.”
Despite her similarities to Kendall, the politician admitted that she and Kylie “just seem to be closer most of the time.”
She continued: "Kendall's off kind of doing her thing, and Kylie, like, I had dinner last night at Kylie's house. We try to do that once a week, once every two weeks. I go over there and she always has these great meals — prepared, she doesn't do them. ... But they're so good! It's better than a restaurant."
Kim praised both of the father figures in her life in a sweet Father’s Day Instagram tribute that highlighted both her late dad and Caitlyn.
"Best to ever do it! I wouldn’t be me if it weren’t for you two,” the KKW Beauty founder captioned the carousel of photos.
Kourtney appeared on an episode of sister Khloé’s podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” in May 2025. The two recalled growing up with Caitlyn.
“[Caitlyn] never tried to be Dad and I always appreciated and respected that,” Khloé recalled, referring to her late father, Robert Kardashian. However, Kourtney disagreed.
“OK, so, that wasn’t my experience, but maybe that’s why it became your experience,” the Poosh founder added. “So [I’m] grateful for that for you.”
Kourtney recalled feeling like Caitlyn “tried to be controlling and bossy,” declaring that “certain friends” couldn’t come over to their house. “I would be like, ‘I wanna call my Dad,’ and [Caitlyn] would hang up the phone. We would have yelling wars.”
Kourntey also noted that the tension with Caitlyn led her to move in with her father, Robert.
