Kate Middleton’s Symbolic Style Statement for Royal Garden Party Return

Kate Middleton made a radiant return to the royal garden party circuit on Tuesday, May 20, hosting the first one of the year at Buckingham Palace alongside Prince William.

After a period away from public duties for cancer treatment, during which time, in January 2025, she announced that she was in remission, her appearance marked a significant moment. Her carefully chosen attire spoke volumes, showcasing a masterful approach to diplomatic dressing.

For Tuesday’s fete, the Princess of Wales, 43, was a vision in a vibrant yellow dress by Emilia Wickstead, which was perfectly complemented by a matching Philip Treacy hat.

The combination was highly strategic and deeply rooted in royal tradition. Following the sartorial practice perfected by the late Queen Elizabeth II, Middleton seemingly selected the bright yellow hue to ensure maximum visibility among the thousands of guests gathered on the palace lawns.

How Kate Middleton Honored Princess Diana on Commonwealth Day Return

As Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, explained in the 2016 documentary The Queen at 90: “[Queen Elizabeth] needs to stand out for people to be able to say ‘I saw the Queen.’ Don’t forget that when she turns up somewhere, the crowds are two, three, four, 10, 15 deep, and someone wants to be able to say they saw a bit of the Queen’s hat as she went past.”

The late monarch herself once famously declared: “If I wore Beige, no one would know who I was!”

This philosophy clearly guides Middleton’s formalwear, allowing her to connect visually with the public even in vast crowds.

The Emilia Wickstead dress itself was also a testament to her consistent preference for elegant, well-tailored designs from British labels that you can wear on repeat. Indeed, the Princess of Wales wore the exact same ensemble to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Wickstead, a New Zealand designer based in London, is a go-to for the royal and is known for her modern yet classic silhouettes. The princess’ choice of yellow, a color often associated with joy, optimism and new beginnings, carried an additional layer of meaning given her recent health journey.

Kate Middleton’s a Proud Outfit Repeater: See Her Best Recycled Looks

Her Philip Treacy hat, a name synonymous with sophisticated royal millinery, added a touch of refined grandeur, ensuring her visibility and upholding the tradition of formal garden party attire.

This vibrant ensemble also signaled a shift from her more muted sartorial choices in February, when Kensington Palace clarified a statement it released regarding concerns that Middleton’s style overshadowed her charity work was unfounded.

Before the palace backtracked, conversation was at an all-time high about the importance of Middleton’s wardrobe choices to the economy and fashion designers.

Over the years, she has frequently taken to British labels, which in turn have given invaluable exposure to labels like Emilia Wickstead, Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham, all of whom have experienced what’s famously coined “The Kate Effect” — a significant spike in orders for any item she wore.

The ‘Kate Effect’: Why the Princess' Outfits Are Such a Huge Deal

Middleton’s choice to dress in a bold, impactful color for such a significant public event reinforced her presence and role. While earlier appearances may have prioritized understated elegance to keep focus on her charitable endeavors, her latest garden party look was all about making a joyful, visible statement of her return and continued dedication to service — and style.

Joining Prince William, 42, who looked dapper in a suit and top hat, Middleton circulated among the guests, exemplifying the royal family’s tradition of mingling with those recognized for their public service.

The Princess of Wales’ outfit not only adhered to royal protocol but also served as a symbol of continuity and renewed engagement, demonstrating once again that every element of her wardrobe is a carefully considered component of her diplomatic presence.

‘Mean’ Justin Bieber Once Told Hailey She'd Never Be on the Cover of ‘Vogue’

Mere hours after Hailey Bieber’s first solo Vogue cover dropped on Tuesday, May 20, Justin Bieber took to Instagram to share a candid confession about a past argument with his wife over the magazine.

The “mean” comment stemmed from feeling “disrespected,” which Justin, 31, admitted he now deeply regrets.

“Yo, this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” Justin captioned a photo of Hailey’s cover via Instagram on Tuesday. He then dropped the bombshell: “I told Hails that she would never be on the cover of Vogue. Yikes, I know, so mean.”

This admission, particularly given Hailey’s prominent career as a supermodel and this being her now-second Vogue cover since their marriage (including the March 2019 Vogue cover they shared), detailed this deeply personal moment in their relationship and the power dynamics.

Hailey Bieber Details 'Difficult' Postpartum Life Amid Justin Split Rumors

Justin went on to a “fleeting, yet powerful, urge to “get even” when feeling disrespected. “For some reason, because I felt so disrespected, I thought I gotta get even…” he wrote.

However, he quickly pivoted to a more evolved perspective, reflecting on the lessons learned as they’ve grown together. “I think as we mature, we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want, which is intimacy and connection,” he added.

The singer, who shares son Jack Blues, 8 months, with Hailey, ended his apology with words directed straight to his wife: “So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a Vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.”

This candid reflection from Justin provides a personal anecdote about their relationship and inadvertently underlines Hailey’s significant presence in the fashion world.

Hailey Bieber Through the Years: From Modeling to Marriage to Motherhood

Far from being absent from the pages of Vogue, Hailey has cemented her status as a top model and a style icon, appearing on numerous international covers for the esteemed publication.

In the new issue that came out Tuesday, she reflected on the arduous postpartum journey she experienced after giving birth to Jack in August 2024, including body dysmorphia and more. She also set the record straight on the headlines surrounding a potential rift in her marriage.

“It’s not real,” she told Vogue of most of what’s written about her. “And that’s the thing: I have a real life,” she continued. “My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends and I have people that know me and love me and I love them.”

Justin’s past prediction makes his “sadly mistaken” admission all the more, well, sad.

Pregnant Rihanna Shows Off Baby Bump at Cannes in a Sultry Cutout Dress

The 2025 Cannes Film Festival red carpet, bathed in a week of relentless sun, experienced a sudden shift just as Rihanna made her entrance on Monday, May 19, in the South of France to show off her growing baby bump.

As if on cue, the skies unleashed a dramatic shower. Over the top? Certainly. But when Rihanna, 37, steps onto a scene, even an act of nature becomes a memorable backdrop.

The pregnant singer was on hand to support partner ASAP Rocky at the premiere of his new film, Highest 2 Lowest, and her look ensured all eyes were on her, even amidst the downpour.

In true Rihanna fashion, she commanded attention in a striking Alaïa chiffon gown rendered in a bright and bold stroke of (baby?) blue that defied the decidedly gloomy forecast.

Strategically sliced with cutouts that artfully framed her burgeoning baby bump, the dress struck that elusive balance between ethereal fluidity and flashes of skin in all the right places.

She adorned both hands with statement rings and upped the sparkle with diamond-encrusted stud earrings with delicate butterfly and leaf motifs. A matching ocean blue clutch completed the monochromatic ensemble.

For his part, Rocky, 36, who takes a leading role in Spike Lee’s hotly anticipated neo-noir crime thriller, maintained his signature slick cool in an oversized Saint Laurent suit, punctuated by a subtly striped tie from the French fashion house’s Spring 2025 collection.

The look was sharp yet imbued with the rapper’s characteristic nonchalance elevated by Ray-Ban wayfarers of his own design, a Bvlgari watch, blinged-out brooches and rings.

This appearance marked Rihanna’s grand return to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, a long-awaited moment for the singer’s fans and fashion aficionados alike.

After revealing her third pregnancy to the world with a captivating appearance at the Met Gala earlier this month, Monday marked her first time at the festival in eight years.

Following the premiere, the palpable affection between Rihanna and Rocky, who are already parents to sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, was evident as they walked arm-in-arm. The rapper gallantly held an umbrella over his expectant significant other as the rain continued to fall while they and the cast and crew departed the theater.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s 20 Best Couple Fashion Moments

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s breathtaking 2018 wedding at Windsor Castle instantly secured their status as both royals and fashion icons.

Their power couple fashion narrative began with their 2017 engagement announcement. Prince Harry, now 40, true to form, sported a classic blue suit, while Markle, now 43, exuded chicness in a white coat by Line the Label, a Canadian brand she has consistently championed.

Their May 2018 nuptials unveiled two sets of awe-inspiring ensembles. Markle graced the aisle in a custom Givenchy gown featuring a dramatic 16.5-foot veil for the ceremony, while Prince Harry donned his distinguished Blues and Royals uniform.

Later, they emerged in more relaxed, yet impeccably polished attire: Markle in a high-necked Stella McCartney reception dress and Prince Harry in a timeless black tuxedo with a bow tie.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Relationship Timeline

Another significant moment arrived in May 2019 with the introduction of their newborn son, Archie. Markle looked radiant in a white trench dress by Grace Wales Bonner, while Prince Harry appeared dashing in a classic gray suit. Their sophisticated style statement subtly affirmed that parenthood would not diminish their signature elegance.

Their last royal appearance on March 9 for the Commonwealth Day celebrations at Westminster Abbey was a definitive style statement. Markle’s emerald Emilia Wickstead dress with a built-in cape beautifully harmonized with Prince Harry’s turquoise tie — a final demonstration of their perfectly synchronized style.

Although they stepped back as senior royals in January 2020, relinquishing their HRH titles in order to pursue financial independence, their time since has also provided unforgettable joint fashion moments that also deserve a revisit.

Take, for instance, the November 2021 Salute to Freedom Gala in New York. Markle shone in a Carolina Herrera red halter-neck gown with a sweeping overskirt, perfectly complemented by Prince Harry’s impeccably coordinated black and white tuxedo.

The Deeper Meaning Behind Meghan Markle’s Red Carolina Herrera Dress

Fast-forward to April 2025, their outfits still consistently garner headlines. Case in point? The his-and-hers tailoring they wore ahead of the Time100 Summit. Her textured Ralph Lauren separates leaned into her new Montecito-meets-Manhattan aesthetic. At the same time, his classic suit, sans tie, showed that their combined style is a testament to modern sophistication.

Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking in 2025, per Stylist Law Roach

“Florals will never go out of style,” Law Roach exclusively told Us Weekly. Indeed, the A-list celebrity stylist and author would know, as he’s behind some of the most blossoming looks ever to grace the red carpet.

Roach, known for working with Zendaya, Céline Dion and more, added that the print is a must for moments beyond the crimson rug. “Spring is a great time to incorporate them because you get inspired by the changing season and everything in bloom,” Roach said.

For those who may lack a sartorial green thumb, fret not: “[Florals] are so easy to incorporate into your wardrobe,” he assured Us. “It doesn’t have to be a full head-to-toe floral look like you may think. It can be a floral earring, flowers on your nails, a fun broach — there are so many ways to bring flowers into your wardrobe.”

The OMG Fashun host added: “This brings a pop of fun without overwhelming your look.”

Law Roach’s Best and Most Beautiful Looks on Zendaya and More: Photos

For further proof that florals are always, ahem, in season, stick to the classics and pair a feminine floral-print skirt with a wardrobe staple, like a simple white tee or Roach’s go-to: a “crisp white button-up” shirt.

“I really don’t like to follow trends, but I do think everyone should have those few power pieces in their closet that they know when they wear them that they are going to feel good in,” he told Us.

We’re also partial to this limited-edition Flower Market Tote from the Bloomcore Collection by Tyler McGillivary, created in collaboration with Zyrtec, which Roach touts as a must-have accessory that’s always in his bag. (Lest you forget, it is peak allergy season.) As the star stylist explained, “I’m all about embracing whatever brings you joy and builds your confidence, and I hate the thought of allergy sufferers avoiding florals and missing out on one of the biggest joys of the spring season.”

Roach added: “Just like my credit card, wallet and lip gloss, I take it wherever I go since you just never know,” he said. “Whether out with friends or on a red carpet, no one wants puffy eyes and a runny nose. If you suffer from allergies, Zyrtec is something we should all carry as a ‘just in case.’” Take it from Roach: “It’s a major lifesaver!”

Allergies or not, when it comes to feel-good fashion, Roach offered this advice, which he gives to all of his famous clients: “If you like it, buy it. If you buy it, wear it and keep wearing it.”

Lauren Sanchez Does Billionaire Bloomcore, Bares Abs for Bach Weekend

Lauren Sánchez is in Paris for her star-studded bachelorette weekend, and it seems everything is coming up roses ahead of her June wedding to Amazon founder (and billionaire) Jeff Bezos.

When Sánchez, 55, stepped out for brunch on Friday, May 16, alongside Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and other celebrity gal pals, she leaned into the Bloomcore aesthetic in a white Oscar de la Renta crop top and miniskirt with multicolored 3D florals.

The glamorous journalist, who reportedly got engaged to Bezos, 61, in 2023, literally blossomed in the designer co-ord set plucked right off the Pre-Fall 2025 runway.

The top ($1,590) and skirt ($2,290) were modeled with a matching lady jacket ($4,290), but Sánchez eschewed the latter — all the better to show off her toned arms and taut, tan midriff.

Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry and More Attend Lauren Sanchez's Bachelorette

Sánchez (and Bezos, for that matter) are Fashion Week front-row regulars at Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana and more luxury labels, so it felt fitting that the blushing bride-to-be would have perhaps the most coveted new set from the storied fashion house.

As Oscar de la Renta Co-Creative Directors Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim described in the season’s show notes, the Pre-Fall 2025 offering celebrates “the timeless beauty of cherry blossoms,” which they aptly dubbed the “hero flower” of the collection, which manifests itself in intricately embroidered laser-cut petals, as seen on Sánchez’s flirty set on Friday in the City of Love.

The ensemble seamlessly married Oscar de la Renta’s exquisite craftsmanship and signature floral motifs with the cherry blossom, a flower that also symbolizes new beginnings (hint, hint!).

Naturally, Sánchez moved the bloom to a new realm of luxury and elegance by carrying not the coordinating clutch from the collection but an adorable pink vintage Chanel Top Handle Crush Flap Bag, circa 2023, which just so happens to be the same year that Bezos proposed.

How Princess Diana's Showstopping 1987 Cannes Dress Honored Mentor Grace Kelly

When Princess Diana graced the 1987 Cannes Film Festival alongside Prince Charles for a fleeting ten-hour visit, her choice of a strapless blue tulle gown was far from accidental.

The exquisite creation served as a poignant homage to another glamorous, world-famous royal, Princess Grace of Monaco, a figure who had become a royal mentor of sorts to Diana and who had tragically died five years prior in a car accident. This fate would, with heartbreaking irony, befall Diana just a decade later in 1997.

Back in 1987, Diana strategically chose Catherine Walker, a designer who would become synonymous with her most iconic looks, as she and then-Prince Charles attended the prestigious film festival to champion the British film industry.

Diana’s soft blue dress was elegantly accompanied by a matching chiffon scarf that looped around her neck and billowed out behind her as she walked. This dramatic accoutrement added a sense of ethereal movement to the gown, “catching the breeze that was high on the evening of the film screening,” according to Newsweek.

Princess Diana’s Revenge Dress Was Supposed to Be White: All About the Look

Cannes held a particularly significant connection to the late Princess Grace; it was on the French Riviera that she, then simply an American movie star, first met her future husband, Prince Rainier, in April 1955, almost exactly a year before their fairytale wedding in April 1956.

The creative connection between Princess Diana and Walker drew inspiration from a blue Edith Head gown famously worn by the Academy Award-winning Kelly in Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic 1955 film, To Catch a Thief, which, fittingly, was shot on the French Riviera.

Much like Diana’s deliberate decision to recreate its essence, the almost glacial shade of blue was intentionally chosen for Grace’s character, Frances Stevens. As Hitchcock himself explained in a 1962 interview: “I deliberately photographed Grace Kelly ice-cold and I kept cutting her profile, looking classical, beautiful and very distant.”

Fast-forward to 1987, Diana completed her carefully considered look with flat baby blue shoes (which, according to the new 2025 Cannes Film Festival dress code, would be against protocol for women on the red carpet), elegant aquamarine and diamond chandelier earrings and a matching bracelet.

Princess Diana’s 1985 Dress Sells for a Staggering $1.1 Million

Diana’s connection with Kelly dated back to March 1981, shortly after announcing her engagement to Prince Charles and months before their highly publicized wedding on July 29th of the same year.

In his biography Once Upon a Time: Behind the Fairy Tale of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier, J. Randy Taraborelli recounts a deeply human moment between the two princesses. He reveals that Diana, overwhelmed by the enormity of her impending royal life, “burst into tears in front of Grace” while they touched up their makeup in the ladies’ room at a royal engagement.

As she stood on the precipice of marrying into the intensely scrutinized royal family in just four months, Diana, Taraborelli wrote, “foresaw a life totally devoid of privacy. She was frightened. What could she do? She was certainly asking the right woman for advice. Grace had always known how to use her celebrity to her advantage, whereas Diana seemed to shrivel under the spotlight’s glare.”

Grace, then 51 to Diana’s youthful 19, offered her younger royal counterpart a comforting embrace. She patted her shoulder before gently cupping Diana’s face in her hands, offering a prescient piece of advice: “Don’t worry, dear,” Grace said with a knowing air. “You see, it’ll only get worse.”

Princess Diana Tore the Corset Out of Her Met Dress Without Telling Designer

The bond between the two women, though perhaps brief, was clearly significant. When Grace tragically died in September 1982, Diana insisted on attending her funeral in Monaco, a testament to their connection, even though Diana had given birth to her firstborn, Prince William, a mere three months earlier, and against Prince Charles’ wishes.

Diana found Grace “wonderful and serene,” she confided in her biographer Andrew Morton, but with a perceptive insight, added that “there was troubled water under her. I saw that.”

Diana’s fashion choices were rarely arbitrary; they often conveyed profound meaning without uttering a single word. Her Cannes look was a masterful example of this sartorial storytelling.

The Princess of Wales’s heartfelt tribute to Kelly “didn’t go unnoticed,” and as Tatler reported, “as with all of Diana’s looks, a lot of thought and preparation had gone into the moment.”

Princess Diana’s Brother Pays Tribute on 27th Anniversary of Her Death

The blue Catherine Walker gown enjoyed further moments in the spotlight. Diana re-wore the elegant design just two years later, to the 1989 premiere of the musical Miss Saigon.

Demonstrating both her sentimental attachment and her astute understanding of her iconic status, she later chose the Cannes gown to be part of her groundbreaking 1997 Christie’s auction, where she famously sold off 79 of her most memorable dresses.

The gown fetched an impressive $70,700 in 1997 and was subsequently put up for auction again in 2011, eventually selling for over $132,000 in 2013.

In a moving homage to her enduring legacy, the dress was displayed in 2017 at Diana’s former home, Kensington Palace, as part of a special exhibition commemorating the 20-year anniversary of her passing.

Salma Hayek Goes Topless for SI; Star Thought She Was Too ‘Short,’ ‘Curvy’

Salma Hayek is many things: an Oscar-nominated actress (and the first Mexican woman to receive a nod, for 2002’s Frida, which she also produced), a director, a philanthropist and an activist.

Now, Hayek, 58, is also a Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover model. She recently traveled to her home country of Mexico for the sensational photoshoot, captured by photographer Ruven Afanador, in which she was the picture of sun goddess glamour at the Cuixmala luxury resort.

“I’m nearly 60! At this stage, it wouldn’t have crossed my mind. The first thing you get is — what is that word? — imposter syndrome. You have the imposter syndrome immediately,” Hayek said in her cover story published online on Tuesday, May 13, and will hit stands on Saturday, May 17.

Despite looking like a total bombshell in every bikini-clad shot, Hayek told the magazine that she’d considered Sports Illustrated to be out of reach for her. “I used to look at this magazine, and all the models that were in it were so perfect and so beautiful,” she explained in the feature.

Salma Hayek Sizzles in a Sexy Push-Up Bikini: See the Pics

Hayek continued, telling journalist Marshall Heyman: “This was the top of the top of the top. It was a landmark for models. It was an iconic space for ultimate beauty, even if it was a magazine that was not about that normally. But each issue was the trailblazer of what is beauty today.”

And it still is: In newly revealed shots, a topless Hayek lounges on a cushion in nothing but a glinting chainlink bottom by Torso Vintages Collection and a Logan Hollowell golden body chain. Or dripping wet in a metallic bronze Alida Herbst halter bikini top and matching cheeky bottom.

She followed these and other photos up with a montage of behind-the-sceenes clips from the shoot with her strutting down the beach, writhing on the sand and posing topless in a swimming pool (save for an Alémais straw sunhat and a Jacquie Aiche turquoise necklace, but of course).

Each angle showcased her flawless figure, but in the article, Hayek said she “doesn’t identify with perfect or beautiful.” Instead, she described herself as “curvy” and “I’m short, too.” (For the record: Hayek is 5’ 1½”.) “It was impossible for me to meet the standards of beauty of the ’90s — skinny and tall. No matter how skinny I was going to get, I was always going to be curvy. I can’t stretch my legs! It is what it is. I was never going to be in that club.” Or so she thought…

On Wednesday, SI Swimsuit’s cover dropped on Instagram, and Hayek wore a glitter-flecked green bikini by Johanna Ortiz in a pool — one of the publication’s trademark backdrops. In true Swimsuit fashion, the summer-ready shoot received over 840,000 likes in just 24 hours.

Hayek also posted a series of photos and videos via her Instagram account. In one caption, which the actress penned in both English and Spanish, she wrote: “Thank you @ruvenafanador and @sportsiillustrated @si_swimsuit for one of the most fun shoots of my life and for granting me my wish for shooting it in my beloved home country Mexico. #siswim2025 #VIVAMEXICO.

The Pilates Pro is the powerhouse founder behind the Nofar Method, one of the most popular Pilates studios in New York City and Miami, frequently visited by A-listers and wellness lovers alike.

With a background as a former Israeli army fitness instructor and an NCAA Division 1 water polo athlete, Hagag brings intensity, precision and purpose to every session.

Since launching her workout method in 2019, Nofar has built a loyal, global community that swears by her unique approach.

Her signature method, which combines the Reformer and Cadillac machines in a 50-minute class, has redefined Pilates for a new generation. It fuses strength training, cardio and mindful movement to sculpt the body and calm the mind.

Olivia Culpo, Ashley Graham and More Models Share Their Wellness Secrets

Can’t make it to her studio? No problem! In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Nofar shared eight simple daily wellness tips, from her go-to smoothie to her favorite stretch, that anyone can add to their routine for a healthier, more energized life.

1. Eat A Vegetable-High Diet
Fuel your body with whole, nourishing foods that give you real energy. I love starting my day with avocado toast topped with lemon and a sunny-side-up egg. For lunch or dinner, a quinoa or sweet potato bowl with greens, grilled vegetables and either salmon or raw tuna is my go-to. I also enjoy a green smoothie with spinach, berries, banana, almond butter and plant-based protein, especially post-workout midday. During the week, when I eat out, I gravitate toward Mediterranean food. It’s veggie-based, clean and satisfying. Sushi is always a favorite for dinner when I want something healthy but still enjoyable.

2. Try Eliminating Food Groups
Crash diets and the idea that food is the enemy. Everyone digests food differently, and in recent years, I’ve learned that my body and skin feel their best when I avoid gluten and dairy, especially during the week when I’m focused and disciplined. I’m not super strict when I go out, but keeping that balance helps me feel energized, clean and grounded. Your body is your temple, and it is important to treat it that way.

3. Move With Intention
Move with intention every day, whether it’s a Pilates flow, a walk outside or just stretching on the mat. Movement is how I connect to myself. I love starting my mornings with a workout. For me, movement is a form of therapy. It helps me focus, manage the stress of running a business and keep my energy high. When I take care of my body and soul first, I can help and give more to others.

4. Stop Comparing Yourself To Others
Don’t compare your journey or your body to anyone else’s. We all have ups and downs. Some days you’ll want to skip your workout or take it easy, and that’s OK. Be kind to yourself. If you’re taking care of your health most of the time, that’s a sustainable and great way to live (no one is perfect!).

5. Stretch It Out
One of my favorite stretches is spine articulation on the Cadillac (pilates machine) or at home, using a large Pilates ball. I love lying back over the ball to open up my spine, or sitting on it to do hip circles. It’s great for releasing tension in the hips and lower back.

6. Take Time for Yourself
Wake up with gratitude. Before I start the day, I take three deep breaths to ground myself. If my day is busy and intense, I make time to step outside. Even a short walk in fresh air resets my mind and energy. When I teach in Miami, my favorite way to ground is by walking barefoot on the beach. It reconnects me to myself, calms me down and reminds me to stay present.

7. But Also Make Exercise Social
Schedule workouts with friends! I aim to do this at least twice a week. It’s fun, energizing and keeps you accountable. The rest of the week, I’m lucky that I get to take classes at my own studios as part of my job. It keeps me connected to my team and the Nofar Method community I love.

Kim Kardashian Works Out With Kelly Rowland: Friends 'Keep You Motivated'

8. Use Supplements When Needed
I take Vitamin C and D daily, magnesium at night for recovery and sleep, and creatine powder to support my muscles, especially on busy days when I don’t get enough protein. When I feel like my immune system needs extra love, I add a probiotic, which helps a lot with all the travel and teaching I do.

Kim Kardashian Drips in $7M Diamonds and Feathers During Paris Trial

Defiant in diamonds, Kim Kardashian appeared in a Paris courtroom Tuesday, March 13, to testify in the trial over the 2016 armed robbery that upended her life.

The reality star and business mogul gave emotional, at times harrowing, testimony about the night masked men tied her up at gunpoint and stole more than $6 million in jewelry.

Her arrival in the City of Lights has been marked by a series of meticulously curated fashion statements. On Tuesday, Kardashian, 44, accompanied by Kris Jenner, transformed the steps of the Palais de Justice into an unlikely runway.

The John Galliano dress she chose was a study in contrasts. Its severe, suit-inspired silhouette, rendered in a fluid black fabric, spoke of the seriousness of the occasion. Yet, the dramatically jutted-out shoulders and the strategically placed, curved peplum detail at the waist introduced an element of high-fashion drama.

Kim Kardashian’s Paris Robbery Trial Begins: What to Know

The cascade of buttons running the floor-skimming vintage frock’s length added a classic touch of formality. At the same time, the strategically placed high slit at the back offered a fleeting glimpse of skin — all the better to show off a diamond anklet that shimmered with every step.

Meanwhile, pointy Saint Laurent heels provided a sharp, grounded foundation, while her oversized, jet-black cat-eye shades shielded her gaze, adding an air of impenetrable resolve.

However, the true standouts of her look were the breathtaking jewels themselves. A substantial $1.5 million diamond necklace with over 52 carats from Samer Halimeh New York commanded attention. Its brilliance was echoed in the matching diamond earrings, including the addition of a $8,100 Briony Raymond ear cuff. The deliberate inclusion of diamond rings and a delicate anklet totaling a reported $7 million served as an undeniably powerful message.

By her daughter’s side, Jenner, 69, also understood the power of a carefully chosen outfit. Her oversized black, white and red plaid Bottega Veneta blazer offered a bold sign of solidarity and support.

Layered over a crisp white shirt and paired with a deep maroon tie, her look conveyed a sense of maternal strength. Chunky black shoes provided a grounded practicality, while a coordinating maroon bag and dark aviator shades completed the image of a mom standing firm. Her impeccably styled, curled-up bob added a final touch of unwavering polish.

The next day, the mother-daughter duo left their hotel in similarly striking looks, with Kardashian in a $5,995 Taller Marmo ivory long-sleeve robe crafted from silk chiffon. Fully trimmed with a cascade of nearly 30 feet of airy ostrich feathers, it was a literal flight of fancy. It also seemed to be Kardashian’s way of rewriting the harrowing events of that night, as she previously recounted during her testimony the day prior.

“I have babies,” she recalled telling the robbers, according to reports. “I have to make it home. They can take everything. I just have to make it home.” Her robe fell open — she said she was naked underneath — as one man pulled her toward him. “I was certain that was the moment that he was going to rape me,” Kardashian added.

This time, her boudoir-inspired attire was cinched and secured with a brown leather belt. She left her lacy lingerie off-white bodysuit peeking out from underneath, then topped off the look with an incognito-style baseball cap with the letter “G” embroidered in cursive font on the front.

Kate Middleton Nails Diplomatic Dressing in Elegant Victoria Beckham Suit

Kate Middleton championed emerging British design talent on Tuesday, May 13, while presenting the eighth Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design in London.

The award celebrates the impactful contributions of young British creatives and the United Kingdom’s flourishing fashion industry. Specifically, it recognizes designers who support sustainable practices and demonstrate a commitment to positive environmental impact.

For the occasion, the Princess of Wales donned a sophisticated olive-green tailored suit by Victoria Beckham, a choice that subtly nodded to environmental themes through its verdant hue.

Middleton, 43, began the outing by visiting the winning designer’s pop-up studio at the 180 Studio show space in London to witness how their sustainable designs are created.

The ‘Kate Effect’: Why the Princess' Outfits Are Such a Huge Deal

This year’s award recipient was Patrick McDowell, recognized for their commitment to sustainable practices and innovative designs.

“I’m honored to receive this award from HRH The Princess of Wales today, and join esteemed peers as a recipient,” McDowell said of winning the prestigious prize.

“Thank you to the enduring legacy of Queen Elizabeth II, the royal family and the British Fashion Council, who support British craft, British talent and sustainability on a global stage,” they continued.

“This kind of recognition is invaluable and provides a game-changing stamp of approval for our circular luxury brand.”

Kate Middleton’s a Proud Outfit Repeater: See Her Best Recycled Looks

McDowell founded their label in 2018 and is known for crafting made-to-order garments with unexpected materials and striking silhouettes. They also lauded Middleton as an “amazing advocate of British fashion” and a “real style icon,” making the award particularly meaningful.

The Princess of Wales was then introduced to the shortlisted designers and others who have benefited from the British Fashion Council Foundation’s initiatives to help budding designers and encourage the future growth of the United Kingdom’s creative industry.

Middleton’s own impact on fashion, often dubbed the “Kate effect,” has historically driven significant consumer interest in the brands she wears.

While she has been seen in select items from the British designer over the years, her choice to wear Beckham’s suit for this significant (and stylish) event further highlighted her support for the British fashion industry.

Cannes Film Festival Announces Far More Conservative Dress Code

A mere breath after the Met Gala‘s theatrical extravagance, the Cannes Film Festival stands poised to command the global style stage.

However, as its highly anticipated arrival on Tuesday, May 13, draws near, a notable shift in red carpet protocol suggests a more restrained sartorial landscape this year, courtesy of the institution’s newly enforced dress codes.

Running through Saturday, May 24, the premieres and myriad events punctuate the festival grounds under the watchful eye of the organization’s notoriously stringent outfit guidelines, which, by all accounts, appear to have undergone a tightening of the proverbial belt. As clearly stated on the event’s official FAQ website, a firm line has been drawn against specific sartorial choices.

“Nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as in any other area of the festival,” the guidelines assert, citing “decency reasons.” Furthermore, those grand, sweeping silhouettes that often define cinematic red carpets will face limitations.

The Best Red Carpet Fashion From 2024 Cannes Film Festival

“Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted.”

This decree signals a move towards practicality amidst the glamour, a consideration for the logistical realities of such a high-profile event.

For those attending the coveted evening screenings at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, the very steps of which have historically showcased the most breathtaking and memorable looks, the sartorial expectations are particularly defined. Guests attending screenings from approximately 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. are “required” to adhere to classic eveningwear, specifically “long dresses and tuxedos.”

However, the website does offer a glimpse of flexibility within these parameters, listing alternative styles that men and women can choose to wear within the somewhat vague umbrella of “eveningwear.”

Cara Delevingne Flashes Her Thong in a Sheer $10K Gown Over 100 Years Old

For women, this includes “a little black dress, a cocktail dress, a dark-colored pantsuit, a dressy top with black pants,” while men have the option of “a black or navy blue suit with bow-tie or dark-colored tie.”

Even footwear faces specific constraints, narrowed down to “elegant shoes and sandals with or without a heel,” explicitly banning the casual comfort of sneakers. As seasoned Cannes observers are well aware, the significance of footwear on this particular red carpet is not to be underestimated, a lesson infamously underscored in 2015 when women attending the premiere of Carol were “denied entry” due to their flat shoes, a direct contravention of the festival’s long-standing high-heel policy.

Jennifer Lawrence : Cannes Film Festival Announces Far More Conservative Dress Code

This precedent adds weight to the current, more explicitly stated footwear regulations. Even Jennifer Lawrence‘s headline-making “flashing her flip-flops on the carpet” in 2023, while she “stated at the time that she changed out of heels for convenience, not to make a statement or defy protocol,” serves as a reminder of the scrutiny placed on even seemingly minor sartorial choices.

The official word from the festival is unequivocal: “The Festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules,” a stern warning amplified by the added statement that “for all other screenings, proper attire is sufficient.” With these sartorial guardrails firmly in place, a certain air of anticipation now surrounds the Cannes red carpet.

The question lingers: what inventive interpretations of “long dresses and tuxedos” will emerge, and will any daring souls risk the ire of the “welcoming teams” by intentionally flouting the newly reinforced regulations?

While Cannes’ heart beats for cinema, its enduring allure is also intrinsically linked to the dramatic fashion moments, those unexpectedly naked ensembles (think Milla Jovovich‘s iconic 1997 Jean Paul Gaultier sheer dress) and grand, statement-making confections (like Bella Hadid‘s free-the-nipple statement in see-through Saint Laurent from 2024) that have historically defined its red carpet narrative.

It seems that this year, a new chapter in Cannes red carpet history is set to unfold, one perhaps defined by a more refined — albeit potentially less overtly rebellious — elegance.

The Best Dressed Celebs This Month: From Rihanna to Amal Clooney

This month began abuzz with pre-Met Gala anticipation as Hollywood’s elite and the sartorially blessed descended. Their arrival heralded a week of exclusive soirées and tantalizing glimpses of their style on the first Monday in May.

Sabrina Carpenter, for instance, exuded poised allure at a Versace fête, draped in a slinky aquamarine gown from the Italian house. Other stars opted for voluminous silhouettes yet maintained a restrained color palette, like Blake Lively in a Christopher John Rogers little white ruffled frock.

The Met Gala after-parties provided further style inspiration, with Rihanna stepping out in an all-black ensemble featuring a slinky Ann Demeulemeester cropped shirt and a fluid, silken skirt. Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber opted for sleek modernity in a corseted Dilara Fındıkoğlu corset dress.

Across the Atlantic in Rome, Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet made their highly anticipated red-carpet debut as a couple. Jenner chose a timeless black Schiaparelli maxi gown. (Chalamet, in a dapper black suit, was no sartorial slouch either.)

In the post-gala flurry, stars embraced updated takes on classic glamour. Think: traditional formalwear infused with a contemporary edge – like Claire Danes in an impeccably tailored denim maxi skirt that was custom Zac Posen for Gap.

Kate Middleton Nails High-Low Spring Dressing With a Coquettecore Twist

You don’t have to be a royal to dress like one, as Princess Kate Middleton proved with her latest high-low ensemble at the London Horse Guards Parade on Thursday, May 8.

Middleton, 43, also offered a masterclass in poised repetition, stepping out in her beloved white Self-Portrait dress ($670) and black Chanel bag ($5,200).

The dress has a business-up-top, party-down-below design – a tailored blazer giving way to a soft, pleated cream chiffon skirt. This clever construction creates the illusion of separates, offering an unexpected contrast within a single garment and endless outfit opportunities.

The skirt’s soft, almost ethereal quality, particularly in contrast to the structured bouclé blazer, introduced an element of unexpected lightness and movement to Middleton’s typically more formal attire. While not overtly sheer, it deviated from the heavier fabrics for royal engagements.

The ‘Kate Effect’: Why the Princess' Outfits Are Such a Huge Deal

This subtle hint of transparency felt like a subtle yet significant stylistic evolution for the Princess of Wales, demonstrating a move toward contemporary trends that still manage to feel elegant.

A signature design from the label renowned for its polished femininity has now graced the royal stage for a third time, as seen in 2021 for a reception at Buckingham Palace and in 2022 for “Party at the Palace,” a concert celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Its latest reappearance underscores Middleton’s astute approach to high-street fashion, favoring investment pieces with endless versatility. Notably, the Princess of Wales also possesses the same Self-Portrait dress in classic black, further solidifying the brand’s place in her wardrobe.

This time around, Middleton imbued the familiar silhouette with a fresh twist. The princess adorned her half-up hairstyle with Jigsaw’s velvet bow ($18), which nodded to the coquettecore trend (a.k.a. the Gen Z aesthetic characterized by whimsical details, like bows, lace and pearls). It was a subtle reminder that there’s room for a little sartorial flirtation even amidst royal protocol.

The ever-chic Chanel Classic Mini Flap Bag in black quilted leather completed her ensemble. This luxurious accessory has become another consistent element in the royal’s appearances. It accompanied her during a visit to Marseille, France, in 2023, to the Festival of Remembrance in London in 2024, and more recently, during a Holocaust Memorial Day service in January 2025.

Brooks Nader Rocks a Giant Diamond Ring With a Teeny Bikini Post-Split

Brooks Nader is living her best life, clearly unbothered by her recent split from Gleb Savchenko. On Wednesday, May 7, she was seen soaking up some rays in Miami.

The Sports Illustrated cover star turned heads in a teeny yellow string bikini, highlighting her toned physique and fresh-from-the-beach glow. She also wrapped a coordinating sunny yellow sarong around her waist, which featured the same flirty ruffled details, as she sipped on an ice-cold drink.

Nader, 28, was impossible to miss, even with incognito-style accessories (blue-tinted Y2K-esque sunglasses and a cowboy hat) as she lounged with a friend underneath an umbrella.

However, her near-blinding pair of diamond rings — a pear-shaped stunner with a delicate gold band that she wore on that finger, and a bezel-set pinky ring — demanded the most attention.

Brooks Nader Turns Her Engagement Diamond Into a Divorce Ring: ‘Next Chapter’

The moment comes weeks after she pulled the plug on her on-again, off-again romance with Savchenko, 41, amid allegations made by her sister Grace Ann that he was unfaithful.

Speaking with E! News in April, the Dancing With The Stars pro insisted: “I’m not a cheater. I’m actually a family guy. I’m a relationship guy.”

Nader and Savchenko first became involved when they became dance partners on DWTS in September 2024. It’s not uncommon for celebrity competitors and pro dancers to enter into a relationship after being paired up on the hit ABC show.

However, the news about Nader and Savchenko came just four months after the model and her estranged husband, Billy Haire, announced their separation, and four years after their 2019 New Orleans wedding.

Gleb Savchenko Breaks His Silence Following Split From Brooks Nader

Haire, 40, made his relationship with former Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo public this month when they posted an Instagram photo of themselves lounging on a boat together.

As for Nader, eight months after filing for divorce, she posted a TikTok update on the status between her and her ex-husband. She captioned the video, “Plot twist: still legally married.”

While the official word on the legality of their marriage remains to be seen, it’s clear that Nader has not one but two engagement-worthy diamond rings to show for (both) of her last breakups.

Sabrina Carpenter Responds to Critics of Her Met Gala Look: ‘I F–d Up’

The morning after the Met Gala often yields as much discourse as the event itself, and this year, Sabrina Carpenter‘s sartorial choices ignited a particularly fervent debate.

The “Short n’ Sweet” singer, under the stylistic direction of Pharrell Williams, Louis Vuitton’s menswear creative director, graced the blue carpet in a striking burgundy ensemble: a sculpted jacket with dramatic tailing, layered over a bodysuit and elevated by towering heels.

The notable absence of trousers, however, became a focal point, particularly after Carpenter, 25, relayed Williams’ rationale – a consideration of her petite five-foot frame, while speaking to Vogue’s Met Gala red-carpet live-stream hosts: “[Pharrell] said, ‘You’re short, so no pants for you.’”

The 2025 Met Gala Red Carpet Fashion: See Every Celebrity Look

Per usual, Internet trolls weighed in, with many questioning this rationale. They posited that the 2025 Met Gala’s dress code, “Tailored for You,” presented an opportunity to showcase the transformative power of expertly crafted trousers in elongating the silhouette, regardless of stature.

As one person quipped on X: “If Pharrell did tell Sabrina she’s too short for a pants look, that’s him saying they don’t know how to tailor down at LV HQ lol.”

“That’s what I thought too when she said it like ummmm missed opportunity to show off tailoring skills!” someone else replied.

Williams is known for his tailoring-heavy oeuvre on the Louis Vuitton runway and in his personal and red-carpet wardrobe.

The Best Dressed Celebrities on the 2025 Met Gala Red Carpet

Carpenter acknowledged the dissenters with a laconic tweet-quote: “Damn I f***ed up…” This brief response, imbued with a hint of self-awareness, was a refreshingly candid moment.

Meanwhile, Cardi B‘s arrival, who is also celebrated for her petite frame, added a layer of visual counterpoint to the debate. Her Met Gala appearance in a bespoke Burberry green velvet suit, complete with tailored trousers, was a sight to behold, and Carpenter’s style critics took notice.

Cardi B’s elongated silhouette, achieved through her suit’s precise cut and fit, became a talking point, implicitly challenging the notion that height inherently dictates the wearability of trousers. As one X user noted alongside images of Cardi B, 32, in the custom Daniel Lee design: “And this is the art of great tailoring, they made her legs look so long. You wouldn’t think this babe is 5’3.”

The juxtaposition of these two approaches ignited a broader conversation about the nuanced interplay of tailoring, proportion and personal style on one of fashion’s most scrutinized stages.

Kim Kardashian's Most ‘Shocking’ Butt-Baring Looks Through the Years

Kim Kardashian‘s daring fashion choices often command attention from all angles, and the 2025 Met Gala was no exception.

Her crocodile-like leather ensemble by Chrome Hearts, complete with a low-rise maxi skirt and backless corset top held together by a single strap, plunged to her waist, highlighting her derrière. She accessorized with a long pearl chain belt that was meant to evoke the look of a men’s pocket watch, except it wrapped around her hips and then dangled along the top of her backside.

This butt-baring moment immediately sparked conversation, with many calling it downright “shocking.” But looking back at her style evolution is visual proof that the Skims founder has long since mastered the art of using her, ahem, assets to push sartorial boundaries. (No wonder the butt cleavage trend continues to track, as seen on stars like Zoë Kravitz at the 2025 Oscars.)

At the 2015 Met Gala, channeling Cher, Kardashian, now 44, wore a nude-illusion Roberto Cavalli by Peter Dundas gown with strategically placed crystals that emphasized her figure, particularly as she climbed the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. With a sweeping 18-foot train, the dress made a bootylicious statement both coming and going on fashion’s biggest night.

Fast-forward to the 2019 Met Gala, the reality star wore a waist-snatching custom Mugler minidress. Thanks to a tailor-made corset, the intentionally exaggerated proportions of her nipped-in hourglass silhouette seemed to all but defy the laws of nature.

One thing is sure: Kardashian is the queen of bodycon looks that dramatically enhance the figure, which has become a signature element of her red-carpet appearances. Whether through sheer, skintight fabrics or a completely exposed back, the shapewear mogul uses fashion to celebrate her form, ensuring her Met Gala 2025 look joins the ranks of her most talked-about moments.

At the annual GQ Men of the Year party, Kardashian matched her hair color to her custom Chrome Hearts set, which this time was rendered in toffee-brown suede. The bodycon dress came complete with the same daring cutouts, so she arched her back on the red carpet to give it the full effect.

Kardashian nailed the Met Gala's "About Time: Fashion and Duration" theme in Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" dress. Jean Louis designed the backless gown from delicate souffle silk in a specific shade custom-matched to Monroe's unique skin tone, giving it the nearly naked effect. It was so form-fitting that Louis had to incorporate an 18-inch slit so that Marilyn could walk. Kardashian needed a team to help her up the steps before changing into a replica inside the museum.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Longtime Love Recreates Princess Diana’s Met Dress

Georgina Rodríguez made her Met Gala debut in New York on Monday, May 5, with a slip dress that recalled Princess Diana‘s legendary 1996 look from her first turn on fashion’s biggest night.

It marked the only time that the late Princess of Wales (or any British royal before her or since) had attended the annual affair. However, Diana’s slinky John Galliano for Dior dress made history as one of the most memorable looks to ever grace the famous steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (it even went on display in 2009 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London).

For her part, Rodríguez, 31, entrusted the French luxury label Vetements with creating her custom look, which featured the same lace details and languid silhouette. After the red carpet was rolled up, the brand’s designerGuram Gvasalia, took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 7, to share details about the inspiration and craftsmanship behind the one-of-a-kind dress.

“When Georgina asked me to dress her for her first Met, the first thing that came to my mind was Princess Diana for her first Met wearing a John Galliano slip dress,” his caption began.

Cristiano Ronaldo and His Kids Cheer on Georgina Rodriguez at Fashion Week

“As the dress code for Met Gala this year was ‘Tailored for you,’ we started with tailoring, took the lining out of ten different tailored jackets and coats, and reworked it into negligée dresses trimmed with lace. After that, we cut those dresses up and merged them into one evening gown, entirely stitched by hand, giving it a real Vetements Couture treatment. Archetypal masculine garments were reworked into a sensual personalized silhouette.”

The designer ended the caption on a heartfelt note: “I wanted to give Georgina that princess moment. She is today’s People’s Princess and the queen of people’s hearts. Not every dress needs to be a fairytale story, but this one is.”

Like Diana, Rodríguez’s high-profile relationship with Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo catapulted her onto the global stage. Their relationship is a modern-day fairytale, having met when she was a salesperson at Gucci and he was a customer. (The couple announced their engagement in April and share two children: Alana Martina, 7, and Bella Esmerelda, 3.)

Since Rodríguez began dating Ronaldo in 2016, she has made a name for herself in fashion, working with designers including Gucci, Prada and Chanel. She also stars on the Netflix reality series I Am Georgina and has amassed over 66 million Instagram followers and counting.

Princess Diana Tore the Corset Out of Her Met Dress Without Telling Designer

Rodríguez’s decision to pay homage to Princess Diana’s Met Gala look could be seen as a savvy PR move to keep the spotlight on her red-carpet style. Notably, Rodríguez attended without her fiancé and instead arrived on the arm of Vetements’ Gvasalia.

In Princess Diana’s case, her wardrobe had long been scrutinized, dictated by royal protocol and the weight of monarchy. However, those rules no longer applied following her recent divorce from King Charles in 1996, which became official four months prior to the night of the gala.

Diana used the opportunity to serve the ultimate fashion flex by commissioning Galliano to create a custom version of a midnight-blue dress from his first collection for Dior.

Galliano’s dress originally had a corset, but the designer recently revealed that Princess Diana altered it herself at the last minute without letting him know before she arrived at the museum.

The 75 Best Met Gala Dresses of All Time: See the Photos

“She’d ripped the corset out. She didn’t want to wear the corset,” because she “felt so liberated,” he said in the 2024 docuseries, In Vogue: The ’90s. “The dress was much more… sensuous.”

Rodríguez’s bespoke Vetements black satin slip was also one of the sexier looks on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet, as this year’s theme was inspired by menswear. However, the “Tailored for You” dress code also encouraged guests to embrace looks that reflected their style.

The spring 2025 costume exhibition celebrates refined tailoring and extravagant accessories, much like the sapphire-and-pearl choker Princess Diana wore to the Met Ball in 1996 and the massive canary-yellow diamond necklace by Chopard that Rodríguez donned on Monday night.

Rodríguez added another layer of grandeur to her gown with a long train. Considering Princess Diana famously chose a record-breaking train for her royal wedding in 1981, it’s safe to assume she’d approve of the alteration, which looked nothing short of regal on the Met Gala red carpet.

The Best Dressed Celebrities on the 2025 Met Gala Red Carpet

The 2025 Met Gala red carpet saw no shortage of memorable fashion moments, but the best-dressed celebrities at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5, in New York City, embraced this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and dress code, Tailored for You.

The prevailing silhouette championed sharp shoulders, cinched waists and the crispness of perfectly creased lines, leaving plenty of room for creativity.

Zendaya, in a pristine white three-piece custom Louis Vuitton suit by co-chair Pharrell Williams, epitomized understated sophistication. Meanwhile, Pharrell buttoned up in a similar bespoke white jacket covered with over 100,000 pearls that took the French maison 980 hours to create.

Rihanna was further proof that a carefully crafted look is well worth the wait, as she demonstrated when she arrived fashionably late — and just in time for a pregnancy reveal. Wearing a deconstructed custom Marc Jacobs suit highlighting her baby bump, the sartorial statement is how she confirmed she is expecting her third child with her partner, ASAP Rocky.

Other gown and skirt moments undeniably worthy of accolades include Anne Hathaway, who offered a masterclass in classic elegance with her Carolina Herrera ensemble. Her crisp white button-down shirt paired with a sequin-embellished ball skirt was a tribute to iconic André Leon Talley, the late Vogue editor at large, whose wardrobe featured prominently in the exhibit.

Hathaway told the hosts of Vogue’s red carpet livestream: “We wanted André to look down from heaven and scream, ‘glamour!’”

Indeed, the resounding message from the Met Gala was clear: tailoring has evolved into a boundless, inventive, deeply personal language of style and expression.

Tyla's 2025 Met Gala Gown Was the Epitome of Elegance

Tyla is quickly becoming a celebrity to watch on fashion’s biggest night, as she demonstrated for the second year in a row when she hit the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday, May 5, in New York.

Last year, the musician nailed the “Garden of Time” dress code in a custom Balmain sculpture (made of actual sand), accessorized with a glass hourglass (filled with more sand) as a purse.

For her second turn at the party of the year, Tyla hit another sartorial high note, demonstrating her continued commitment to the 2025 costume exhibition theme, “Superfine: Black Tailoring,” and the accompanying dress code “Tailored for You” in a custom Jacquemus look that celebrated her unique style.

She wore an elegant, white-and-navy pinstripe gown, which was accentuated by a matching blazer, a delicate diamond choker and gold stud earrings. Her blazer also cascaded into a lengthy train as she climbed the steps at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which instantly recalled how, in 2024, she took scissors to her look and turned her gown into a mini dress, as the walking piece of art was too restricting to wear, let alone dance in, inside the gala.

Her glam was just as showstopping on Monday, and consisted of a blonde pixie cut styled in loose waves. She also opted for neutral-colored makeup.

Monday was the second time that Tyla attended the Costume Institute’s annual fundraiser.

“When Balmain showed me the idea and sketch, I just knew it was perfect,” Tyla previously told Vogue on the red carpet last May. “The idea was crazy, and I loved it. I’m excited and a little nervous, but I’m looking forward to having a fun night at The Met!”

Ultimately, Tyla further cemented her name alongside Met Gala best-dressed list regulars, including Rihanna and Zendaya.
