Alec Baldwin Reveals Biggest Regret From Relationship With Daughter Ireland

Alec Baldwin took accountability for the outside factors that previously led to a tumultuous relationship between him and eldest daughter Ireland.

“My relationship with my daughter Ireland was so negatively impacted by my divorce with her mother — and having a very protracted custody battle,” Baldwin, 66, who shares 29-year-old Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger, recalled on the Sunday, March 2, episode of his TLC series The Baldwins.

Baldwin recalled a seven-year divorce from Basinger, 71, adding, “The financials were probably a year and a half and everything else was custody. It was just insanity and really tough.”

While discussing the difficult period of his life, Baldwin issued an apology to Ireland.

Alec Baldwin and Daughter Ireland Baldwin's Ups and Downs Over the Years

“One of my most regrettable things was how it affected Ireland,” he noted. “But she is grown and is 29 years old. I have a good relationship with her and she loves the kids [I share with wife Hilaria Baldwin]. She is sweet to them and is their older sister, but she isn’t in that pack.”

Alec used his experience with his first child as a lesson moving forward, saying, “This is why I am so focused on [my daughter] Carmen and I want to have a good relationship with her. Because I have a girl all over again.”

Before finding love with Hilaria, 41, Alec was married to Basinger from 1993 to 2002. Their divorce was finalized after a bitter custody dispute that later caused tension between Alec and Ireland. In 2007, Alec made headlines for his infamous voicemail where he called his daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig.”

“It took a lot of time and a lot of therapy. We were both in really dark places in our lives,” Ireland told Entertainment Tonight in February 2020. “I think things being publicized the way that they were made things seem more heightened and escalated than it really was.”

Alec has previously spoken about how his personal life affected his relationship with Ireland.

Alec Baldwin's Biggest Scandals and Controversies Through the Years

“That was very painful in so far as someone who I thought wasn’t capable of a certain kind of behavior wound up being the Marquis de Sade,” he told The Guardian in November 2013. “That point of my life is a blur. I know exactly what projects I was doing from 1986 to 2000. And then from 2000 to 2006, during the Dien Bien Phu of my divorce litigation … I can barely tell you what I did for those six years. It was a period that was so painful, I was staring off a cliff for six years.”

The actor’s update on where he stands with Ireland now comes days after Basinger’s rare comments about their messy divorce. “Alec and I have a great relationship,” she told Variety in an interview published on Thursday, February 27. “I have great respect for where he is today, and his family. You know, we don’t spend Christmases and holidays or see each other very much. But we talk.”

Basinger noted that she and Alec have a “genuinely cordial” and “loving relationship” now. She is currently married to hairstylist Mitch Stone while Alec exchanged vows with Hilaria in 2012. The couple share seven children together: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 4, María, 4 and Ilaria, 2.

The Baldwins airs on TLC Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.

Alec, Hilaria Baldwin's Candid Quotes About 'Rust' Shooting, Halyna Hutchins

TLC’s The Baldwins offered Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin the chance to share their unfiltered thoughts on cinematographer Halyna Hutchins‘ death on the set of Rust.

Before the reality series debuted in February, Alec, 66, and Hilaria’s candid quotes about the tragic incident were featured in the official trailer. The couple continued to bring the topic up as The Baldwins filmed them in the days leading up to the trial.

“The past three years has been a significant chunk of my children’s lives,” Hilaria who shares six kids with Alec, shared in the series premiere. “Our older ones were much younger, but have had the awareness because of their age to be able to understand what’s going on. The youngest three don’t know a life without this.”

Alec, meanwhile, reflected on how “everything was so different before” the shooting. “Our lives are very, very different,” he said. “Our children have been forced to recognize that. They’ve been forced to deal with that, with us in their own way.”

Alec Baldwin Says Life Changed in a 'Big Way' When He Met Hilaria

Hilaria continued: “They’ve had some really unfortunate realizations about things that are going on. Life will forever be different. Halyna lost her life in the most unthinkable tragedy, a son lost his mom. We are going to feel and carry this pain forever. This will be a part of our family story.”

Alec was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter in January 2023 following Hutchins’ death on set. The actor was holding the prop gun that was fired on the movie set in October 2021, which killed Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza, but has insisted he’s not responsible for the incident.

Baldwin pleaded not guilty, and the charges were dropped in April 2023, but he was indicted again in connection with the death of Hutchins. The second case was ultimately dismissed by the judge and Baldwin has since filed a lawsuit accusing the prosecution team of malicious prosecution and civil rights violations.

Blaming Himself

“This has been just surreal,” Alec told his wife during the season 1 premiere, which aired in February 2025. “I can’t even believe that we’re going through this, and I always feel more in pain about you than I do. I think to myself that I’m going to try to my best to just get through it, and I think about what it’s done to you and how much it’s hurt you and everything.”

Alec elaborated in a confessional, saying, “This past year was just terrible. There were times I’d lay in bed. I’d go, ‘Wow, my kids. I can’t get up.’ That’s not like me. I’m not like that at all, not in any way am I like that. Never.”

Taking a Toll

Hilaria revealed the toll the shooting took on Alec. “Everyone who is close to Alec has seen his mental health decline,” she said about Alec’s OCD. “He was diagnosed with PTSD, and he says in his darkest moments, ‘If an accident had to have happened this day, why am I still here? Why couldn’t it have been me?’”

Counting Their Blessings

“I look at the kids, and I see how hard we’re trying to create happy memories for them, even if we’re masking stuff for ourselves,” Hilaria continued in the series premiere. “I know that what we’re going through is maybe unique, but every family goes through hard times, and that’s something that we can feel a community of support, knowing that the best that we can do is do our best and try to make our kids happy, and so that’s what we’re doing.”

Alec had a similar outlook in a joint confessional. “Honestly — from the bottom of my soul — I don’t know where I’d be if I didn’t have you and these kids going through this,” he said. “I never would have made it with this. Sometimes I’d say, ‘Why did I have seven kids? Why do we have seven kids?’ And I realize, to help carry me and you through this situation.”

The couple share seven children together: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 4, María, 4 and Ilaria, 2. On the show, Hilaria mentioned how the older kids “have awareness” of the Rust aftermath while the younger children “don’t know life without this.”

“They’ve had some really unfortunate realizations about things that are going on,” she noted. “Life will forever be different. Halyna lost her life in the most unthinkable tragedy, a son lost his mom. We are going to feel and carry this pain forever. This will be a part of our family story.”

Days before the Rust trial, Hilaria revealed her then-10-year-old daughter Carmen’s concerns.

“Carmen asked me last night, ‘When daddy goes to New Mexico. Do I say goodbye to him? Do I say goodbye to him in a special way?’ Hilaria recalled before getting emotional. “[She was so afraid] that when Alec and I go into court that somebody is going to shoot us.”

Keeping Halyna’s Memory Alive

“A woman lost her life in the most unforeseeable tragedy. This is never something to forget. This is never something to not think of,” Hilaria told the cameras. “This is about honoring a really incredible person for the rest of our lives, to pass on her memory to our children and our children’s children. It was a very traumatic thing for everybody that was in that room and everybody that was somehow connected to it.”

Hilaria recalled how much Alec struggled in the initial months. “I found these text messages the other day between us and the day after he said he wanted to kill himself,” she revealed. “He has survivor’s guilt. … He wishes it were him. He would change places in a second.”

She continued: “This has affected his health and his mental health tremendously. In the past few years, he has had heart problems and multiple times he fainted.”

Amy Poehler and boyfriend Joel Lovell are red carpet official.

Poehler, 53, and Lovell posed together while attending the 2025 Oscars on Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Poehler rocked a classic black gown, which she paired with gold and diamond necklaces. Lovell, meanwhile, wore a black tuxedo and bowtie while holding hands with Poehler during their first public outing.

The couple have kept their romance low-key after October 2024 reports that they were dating. This marks Poehler’s first public relationship after dating fellow comedian Nick Kroll from 2013 to 2015. She moved on with Kroll, 46, after her high-profile divorce from Will Arnett.

Poehler and Arnett, 54, got married in 2003 and expanded their family with sons, Archie, 16, and Abel, 14. Following nine years of marriage, the duo announced their separation and filed for divorce in April 2014. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Arnett previously praised the way the pair successfully transitioned into their new coparenting relationship.

“It’s been almost 10 years and my kids are so lucky that Amy is their mother,” he told The Guardian in February 2022. “And I’m so lucky that we’re such a huge part of each other’s lives, even more so than we were five years ago.”

Arnett admitted how “excruciating” it was to return to work after the split, adding, “Just brutal, brutal, brutal. I was driving to the set [for Arrested Development] one day and I pulled over to the side of the road and cried for an hour.”

Poehler also opened up about the ups and downs that came with ending a long-term relationship.

“I am proud of how my ex-husband Will and I have been taking care of our children,” she wrote in her 2014 memoir, Yes Please, adding that she felt “incredibly alone” amid the breakup. “I am beyond grateful he is their father, and I don’t think a ten-year marriage constitutes failure. That being said, getting a divorce really sucks.”

Arnett was briefly linked to interior designer Elizabeth Law in late 2016 following his divorce. He later moved on with Alessandra Brawn in 2019. The couple welcomed their son, Alexander, in 2020.

Earlier this year, Poehler received public support from Arnett after she launched her new podcast.

“So you’re doing a podcast, huh? That is awesome,” Arnett, who hosts the “Smartless” podcast, said in the February announcement video before changing the topic, “Would you happen to know my blood type? I’m gonna put it down in this form.”

Stars Who Brought Their Family Members or Friends as Dates to the Oscars

Jonah Hill, Jared Leto and more celebrities have walked the Oscars red carpet with their parents, siblings and friends over the years.

Hill brought his mom, Sharon Lyn, to the Academy Awards in 2014. “She’s flirting with Bradley [Cooper], Channing [Tatum], and everybody,” the actor joked with ABC at the time. “It’s kind of a disaster.”

As for Leto, the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman’s 2014 Oscar dates were his mom, Constance Leto, and older brother Shannon Leto. The singer gave his mother a sweet shoutout while accepting his Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for his work in Dallas Buyers Club at the time.

“In 1971, Bossier City, Louisiana, there was a teenage girl who was pregnant with her second child,” the Suicide Squad star said onstage. “She was a high school dropout and a single mom, but somehow she managed to make a better life for herself and her children. She encouraged her kids to be creative, to work hard and to do something special. That girl is my mother and she’s here tonight. And I just want to say, I love you, Mom. Thank you for teaching me to dream.”

Justin Hartley's Colter Is Flirted With Endlessly on 'Tracker': 'Stay Close'

Lindsay Siu/CBS

CBS’ hit series Tracker found time to show Justin Hartley‘s Colter Shaw get flirted with while on a case in New Jersey.

During the Sunday, March 2, episode, Colter received a favor assignment from Reenie (Fiona Rene) that took him to New Jersey. His search for a cupcake chain founder’s missing son turned into Colter being caught in the middle of a violent mafia war. Before Colter’s life was in danger though, he visited the missing son’s office — and left quite an impression on the receptionist.

“If I could take a look at his office, it would really make my day,” he told Janice (Alex Sgambati), who was reading a romance novel until she noticed him. “Well, you have already made mine.”

Janice surprised Colter when she accurately guessed his measurements, saying, “Let me guess. 6’3? Perfect 42 tall? 6 years at Nordstrom Rack — it was the worst job ever but …” Colter subsequently used her interest in him to gain access to Matt’s office and computer.

'Tracker' Season 2 Trailer Shows Justin Hartley, Wife Sofia Pernas' Reunion

“I will give you five minutes [to take a look],” Janice told Colter before adding sultrily, “Come with me — stay close.”

Colter leaned into the flirtation by telling the receptionist that she was “such a great help.” He also gained more insight about the person he was looking for when he asked about Matt’s potential affair with another woman.

“I got the vibe that the two of them were up to something naughty,” Janice noted before giving Colter an intense look, adding, “[Affairs] happen all the time, right?”

Colter was ultimately able to find Matt but not before taking a beating from some mafia members first. This isn’t the first time Colter’s life was in danger while solving a case. The procedural, which is based on Jeffery Deaver’s novel The Never Game, has shown Us‘ favorite fictional survivalist traveling the country to help solve missing person cases and track down information on criminal cases, which has come with its own set of problems.

Justin Hartley's Most Insightful Quotes About His Hit CBS Series 'Tracker'

“We do have a running joke though, of how many times Colter has broken the law. Our grips department put together a list and it’s ridiculous. My idea was to have, maybe at the end of season 2, my wrap gift to everyone is going to be a hoodie that lists all of the things that he’s done,” Hartley joked with TheWrap in May 2024. “Like assault, breaking and entering, kidnapping, all that stuff. But it’s a long list already. Every episode, he’s doing something illegal, right?”

The CBS hit series, which has already been renewed for season 3, has also made an effort to make every viewer root for Colter.

“I think a lot of times, it’s all about the message or this political topic. Sometimes, it gets lost in the shuffle that we are entertainers. I want people to watch something and to be entertained,” Hartley explained to The Hollywood Reporter in February 2024. “Colter Shaw is not agenda-driven, necessarily. He’s a businessman. He takes the money, that’s how he makes his living. He’s not politically driven. He’s driven by doing the right thing. And, where does that come from? Well, that comes from his childhood, and we unpack that in the series.”

Tracker airs on CBS Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.

Parvati Shallow Slams Jeff Probst's Claims 'Survivor' Has More Male Winners

Jeff Probst‘s take on Survivor having mostly male winners wasn’t very well received by viewers or former contestant Parvati Shallow.

The host, 63, was recently asked about Survivor‘s previous winners on The Elvis Duran Show, to which he replied, “When you list all of the greatest ‘characters’ of Survivor, a majority of them are men.” Probst’s quote was shared on a Survivor fan account, which received backlash from fans of the hit CBS series and Shallow, 42.

“Dude. This guy,” she wrote in the comments section. “I wonder if some kind of editing bias (among other things) could be preventing the women from becoming bigger characters … hmmm.”

Shallow elaborated via her Instagram Story on Sunday, March 2, adding, “Grrrr … When your team is primarily made of men and your bias shows that … wonder why women don’t become bigger characters??”

‘Survivor’ Winners Through the Years: Where Are They Now?

Probst has not yet responded to the online backlash. He has been the host — and executive producer — of Survivor since its inception in 2000. Throughout the show’s 48 season run, Probst has won four Primetime Emmy Awards as the host.

The hit reality competition places a group of people in an isolated location, where they must provide food, fire, and shelter for themselves. They are also competing in challenges that offer them immunity from elimination by their fellow contestants.

Survivor has inspired various spinoffs including variations from other countries and seasons that include returning players. Throughout the flagship show’s 25-year run, there have been nearly 20 winners who have been women and almost 30 male winners.

Shallow specifically has competed five times on Survivor and won Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites. She reflected on her reality TV past while speaking recently to Us Weekly about her appearance on Deal or No Deal Island.

“I unretired double time because I did Deal or No Deal Island and I did Australian Survivor vs. the World in one summer, back-to-back,” she shared with Us in January. “There’s something that gets in my blood about these reality competition games — they’re peak experiences, they’re life-changing experiences and who gets the opportunity to play them more than once? It feels like a blessing and a curse.”

Biggest ‘Survivor’ Onscreen Controversies Through the Years

While reflecting on Deal or No Deal Island, Shallow admitted the accommodations were significantly better than on Survivor.

“Girl, put me on an island any day of my life. I love an exotic, beautiful beach. Deal or No Deal Island was a glamping experience that I would’ve paid for,” she quipped. “But the glamp experience was so nice. And then the pavilion that they had us in the dock, the hammocks, the swing — loved it there.”

She added, “The castle in Scotland [for Traitors] is nice, but it’s cold — and it’s probably haunted by the ghosts of the first murdered.”

Yes, That Is Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman Announcing at the Oscars

Parks and Recreation fans might find that the voice of the 2025 Oscars announcer sounds familiar — and that’s because it’s the voice of Nick Offerman.

Offerman, 54, was named the announcer for the Sunday, March 2, event taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. He took over the gig — which was originated by Ronald Reagan in 1953 — from fellow actor David Alan Grier. This is the second consecutive year where an actor filled the role instead of a professional voiceover star.

Before landing the entertaining opportunity on film’s biggest night, Offerman won Us over for his role as Ron Swanson in NBC’s hit sitcom Parks and Recreation. He has also appeared on the small screen in Fargo, Pam & Tommy and The Last of Us. Meanwhile on the big screen, Offerman scored roles in Civil War, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning and more.

“Over the years, I’ve been really lucky to get certain gigs simply because they like my mustache,” Offerman exclusively told Us Weekly in February. “I could be any jackass where they’re like, ‘Can you come to this job and bring that mustache? Because that’s all we really care about.’”

2025 Oscars Red Carpet Fashion: From Ariana Grande to Halle Berry

Offerman reflected on the role that he gets recognized for the most, which is none other than Ron Swanson.

“One [of his lines] that always springs to mind [is] food-related,” he recalled. “We were at a bowling alley and there was a bulletin board with plastic letters [next to] a concession window, and it said something like, ‘Hot Dog, 85 cents, Hamburger, $1.15’ and I say, ‘This is my favorite restaurant in Pawnee.’”

Offerman continued: “Rashida [Jones, who played Ann Perkins] says, ‘Aren’t you afraid to eat there?’ and I say, ‘When I eat, it’s the food that is scared.’ I remember the imitable smell of a bowling alley and the red-and-blue leather shoes.”

Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, and More Announced as Oscars Performers

From 2009 to 2015, NBC viewers tuned in weekly to watch the mockumentary series about employees working for the parks department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Parks and Recreation featured a stacked cast that included Offerman, Jones, Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Retta and Billy Eichner.

Those curious about Offerman’s interests outside of acting have seen his woodworking skills, which he has documented on his social media accounts. As for Offerman’s personal life? He has been happily married to wife Megan Mullally since 2003 — and they have shared the screen a few times over the years.

What 'The White Lotus' Cast Has Said About Filming Those Full Frontal Scenes

What 'The White Lotus' Cast Has Said About Filming Those Full Frontal Scenes
HBO

The White Lotus has found very creative ways to feature those viral full frontal scenes over the years.

HBO’s hit series, which debuted in 2021, focuses on the guests and employees at a fictional resort as they experience a slew of personal ups and downs while on vacation. The anthology series is also known for featuring a mysterious murder — or two — that is eventually revealed at the end of each season.

The structure has also allowed various characters to strip down on screen. Creator Mike White has previously recalled the trepidation he has faced when it came to directing sex scenes.

“I’m very timid about asking people to undress and get into sexual situations. It’s not my wheelhouse. There were definitely times on this shoot that I was like, ‘What have I got myself into?’ My threshold for awkwardness is very low,” he told NPR in November 2022. “The actors are much more confident and uninhibited than I am. That was new terrain for me. It just felt like it was important because it really is baked into the narrative.”

White was asked about fan reactions to those NSFW moments, saying, “It’s funny, though, how now that the show is airing, how much you realize a graphic sex scene or a sex scene that kind of is titillating for various reasons, does just spike and generate an interest in the populace, for better or worse.”

The first season kicked off with Zahn’s character, Mark, stripping down amid a health scare. “I didn’t even have to do that part,” Zahn told The Hollywood Reporter in 2021. “It’s somebody else wearing a prosthetic. That’s about as absurd as it gets, right?”

Theo James

During season 2, viewers were shocked when Harper (Aubrey Plaza) accidentally snuck a peek at Cameron (Theo James) while he undressed. Although the moment wasn’t a sex scene, the actor opened up about bringing the risqué scene to life.

“The truth of it was you go into these things and you have a conversation with the director and the producers, and they go, ‘OK, for this, we’re going to use a prosthetic, we’re gonna use something,’” James explained during a December 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It’s a pee-pee prosthetic.”

James didn’t want the prosthetic to be too “distracting” for the audience. “He needs to be [a] regular Joe because the scene’s not about the pee-pee, it’s about power play in sex [and] whether he did it deliberately or whether it was an accident,” he continued.

As for how true to form the prosthetic was? “I mean, it’s bigger than that. It’s like she stole it off a donkey in the field,” he quipped. “The thing is ginormous.”

The third installment was set in Thailand — and this time it was Schwarzenegger’s character Saxon seen headed to the bathroom while completely nude.

“Yes, that’s my real butt. No stand-in,” he teased to Esquire in February 2025. “Once I read the script, I knew what was coming, but before that, I didn’t.”

Patrick’s father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, also had plenty to say on the matter, writing via Instagram, “I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate @patrickschwarzenegger at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Don’t miss it this Sunday — trust me.”

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke's Relationship Timeline

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke found their happily ever after — and even celebrated it with two wedding ceremonies.

Badgley and Kirke initially sparked romance rumors in 2014. Four years later, the doula admitted that their early relationship didn’t feel too serious.

“I was sort of getting used to being a single mom, maybe a little too used to it. I had a really good thing with my kid and we were like this little team. Penn and I were dating, but it wasn’t nearly as serious as it is now, of course,” Kirke, who shares son Cassius with ex Morgan O’Kane, told Hey Mama in 2018. “I didn’t think marriage was in the cards for us. So I was sort of just chugging along, surviving and getting through the days, and I think the difference now is that I’m really living.”

The couple, who tied the knot twice in 2017, announced that they were expecting their first child together three years later.

“On the road again,” the musician captioned a close-up photo of her baby bump via Instagram in February 2020. “Pregnancy after loss is a whole other thing. After two miscarriages in a row, we were ready to call it. I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done. As a birth attendant, I’ve seen and heard it all. It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I’ve been present for and be in my own experience.”

Us confirmed Badgley and Kirke's romance after they were spotted together in New York, with a source noting at the time, "They have a number of mutual friends. It is a very mature and free relationship. Domino is a great girl for him, being a musician. Their interests align."

"You only get married twice, once I love you @pennbadgley," Kirke captioned a since-deleted shot of the You star following their second wedding ceremony in June 2017.

During an interview with Hey Mama in 2018, the U.K. native revealed why the pair decided to have two weddings, saying, "My first wedding was more of a civil ceremony with about 40 people that was able to join us in a pinch. The second one was more planned. 200 people came from all over the world. It just felt necessary to have both."

Kirke told Us that because the Maryland native doesn't have to fit the traditional dad role for her son, Badgley gets to "have more fun with him."

“Happy birthday, Dom,” Badgley captioned an Instagram tribute for his wife. “A super-brief review of your invisible qualities: A truly radiant soul, you seem to spark alight almost everyone you meet, like a 99% success rate. It’s really impressive, and quite mysterious. You encourage others to be honest, and brave, and gentle, and expansive. Your great capacity for empathy is obvious, something anyone can get warm by like a glowing stove. Your desire to be of service to others is miraculous. It is in your DNA. In pictures as a very young child, you exude it—a great care and sweetness; an invitation.”
He added: “You make others happy by you. For me, it is a joy to witness you when you are happy. For you, I always hope to be a source of joy. I’m really glad we’re married.”

During a conversation with former costar Chace Crawford, Badgley revealed that the last time he watched Gossip Girl was with his wife.
“It would be very interesting to watch it now,” he explained in an “Actors on Actors” interview for Variety in June 2020. “I watched with my wife, with Domino, before we got married. It must’ve been six months after we met. She had never seen it, and that’s the last time I can remember seeing an episode.”

Kirke announced via Instagram that the duo had welcomed their first child together, writing, "His heart shaped home ❣️ #40dayspostpartum." She also shared an Instagram Story of her newborn on the bed with her.

Kirke opened up about how the couple handles the actor's high level of fame.
"The best parts are watching the way he organizes it all," she quipped during an episode of the “Podcrushed” podcast, which Badgley cohosts. "The risky run with being with someone in the public eye is that they really take a lot from being recognized and needing and wanting that recognition. It's their fuel, needing that kind of validation."
The London native noted, however, that Badgley sometimes needs assistance in keeping a low profile.
"Penn is very graceful when it comes to that part of his career, like living in New York City where literally we're inundated every time we walk down the street," she explained. "Sometimes it's like ‘Penn, you're famous. Can you please put some glasses on? Or a hat or something?'"

“I asked [the creator of the show] Sera Gamble, 'Can I just do no more intimacy scenes?' This is actually a decision I’d made before I took the show," the Netflix star shared on an episode of his "Podcrushed" podcast. "I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it publicly, but one of the main things was, like, do I want to put myself back on a career path where I’m just always the romantic lead? Fidelity in every relationship, and especially my marriage, is really important to me."

Penn Badgley and wife Domino Kirke are expanding their family with not one — but two — babies.

“Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! Talk about a PLOT TWIST!” Kirke, 41, captioned an Instagram post on Friday, February 28, alongside a photo of her, Badgley and their 4-year-old son, James. “Spontaneous twins are beyond magical.”

She continued: “We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with @pennbadgley 👶♥👶🎢#handsoffthewheel #monoditwins.”

The couple, who got married in 2017, are already parents to son James and to Kirke’s eldest son, Cassius, whom she welcomed in a previous relationship.

Penn Badgley and Domino Kirke's Relationship Timeline

“He’s a really good stepdad,” Kirke exclusively told Us Weekly in 2019 of Badgley. “He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him. It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely uncharted territory for me ’cause I didn’t grow up with one, but … he takes care of him really well.”

Kirke gushed to Us about watching Cassius grow into his own, adding, “Boys at 10 have the same amount of testosterone as they will have when they’re 18, so there’s a sass, but when I speak to him on the phone, he’ll be like, ‘Hey mom, you sound tired. You should go to bed.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, OK, thanks.’ Like, ‘Whoa, who am I talking to?’”

Badgley, 38, has also spoken about taking on the role of a stepfather.

“I was curious [how] my new fatherhood would influence my experience with Joe and acting with him,” he told Access Hollywood in 2021. “But sometimes, it was almost not helpful because I was having such a light and joyful experience [and] still am, and Joe was, like, so petrified and so scared. Of course, I can identify with the fear, but he’s just so morbid in his obsessive self-preservation and primal instinct that sometimes I almost found it harder.”

At the time, Badgley reflected on becoming a first-time “biological father” amid COVID pandemic, telling InStyle, “It’s just been us, my wife and I, taking care of him. And as a result, in some ways, we’re thrilled, there’s a beautiful joy and lightness to our connection with him. He seems to reflect that. And at the same time, it’s so hard.”

Penn Badgley's Most Candid Quotes About Fatherhood Through the Years

While filming season 3 of his hit Netflix series You, Badgley found himself connecting to his character, who welcomed a son on screen.

“I certainly had the great bounty of drawing on my own experience, becoming a new biological parent, and that was quite natural,” he recalled to Elle in October 2021. “There are some definitely sweet moments where I was able to do that, but I think by and large, [Joe’s] paternal instinct is at best primal. I think to be a good father or a parent, you need to really rise several orders above primal, but he’s at least primal, I guess.”

Did Ruby Franke's Ex Get Custody of Their Kids After Her Child Abuse Arrest?

Did Kevin Franke Get Custody of His and Ruby Frankes Kids After Her Child Abuse Arrest

Ruby Franke was arrested for child abuse, but does her estranged husband, Kevin Franke, now have custody of their kids?

The former couple share six kids, with the eldest — Shari and Chad — being the only ones who have preferred to remain in the public eye. The rest of the children — who are all still minors — have remained private after being the focus of daily vlogs that showcased Ruby’s days as a stay-at-home mom.

In 2023 Ruby, 43, and her friend Jodi Hildebrandt were arrested and charged with six counts of felony child abuse. Ruby pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse in December 2023 and admitted she tortured her children. As part of her plea deal, she agreed to serve a prison term and agreed that her sentences would run consecutively. She also agreed to testify against Hildebrandt, who pleaded guilty.

Kevin, 46, for his part, had not been in communication with Ruby or their kids for over a year when the arrests took place. He has since filed for divorce from Ruby and filed for custody. As of April 2024, the children were still within the custody of Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services.

Ruby Franke, Jodi Hildebrandt's Friendship Timeline Amid Child Abuse Arrest

“He just wants to do what’s best for his kids and get them back, get them under his tutelage and his fathership and protect them,” Kevin’s attorney Randy Kester said in a statement at the time.

Amid his case in juvenile court — which has been sealed — Kevin sued Hildebrandt for intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent infliction of emotional distress and negligence for him and his children.

“[Kevin] is making an effort to rebuild and bridge these relationships rather than sling mud and point fingers,” his attorney noted in a separate statement about Kevin’s focus on fatherhood. “He is focused on doing what is best for his kids at this point, even if that means undergoing some introspection.”

In paperwork obtained by Page Six, Kevin filed a motion in 2024 requesting Hildebrandt be financially responsible for his kids’ ongoing medical care, as she caused “aggravated psychological and emotional injuries.”

“It is clear and admitted that the children suffered immediate and continuing irreparable harm as a result of the crimes perpetrated upon them by [Hildebrandt],” read the motion.

Kevin requested that the judge prevent the liquidation or transfer of Hildebrandt’s assets. It was later ruled that Hildebrandt must set aside $100,000 for the minors after the sale of her home is finalized.

More recently, Kevin advocated at the Child Welfare Legislative Oversight Panel for Utah state law to change so child welfare workers can take temporary custody of kids when they receive “reported red flags” from concerned citizens instead of waiting to receive additional evidence of child abuse.

Ruby Franke's Family Guide After Child Abuse Arrest: Where Are Her Kids Now?

“Perpetrators of child abuse rarely commit such acts out in public, but behind closed doors,” he shared in 2024. “These individuals should no longer be able to hide child abuse by simply ignoring the phone calls, and the door knocks from DCFS caseworkers.”

Ruby is currently serving a 4 to 30 year sentence at the Utah State Correctional Facility in Salt Lake City. She won’t appear before the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole — which determines the exact length of her sentence — until December 2026. The same applies for Hildebrandt, who is also serving her 4 to 30 year sentence at the Utah State Correctional Facility.

YouTube has banned Ruby and Hildebrandt and deleted the channels associated with their names. Hildebrandt’s counseling license was frozen following their arrest.

Which OG 'The Office' Cast Member Is Reprising Their Role in the Spinoff?

The Office spinoff will feature a familiar face as an original cast member is confirmed to be reprising their role.

Oscar Nuñez will return as Dunder Mifflin accountant Oscar in the upcoming Peacock series, according to Variety. He is the first OG cast member from the hit NBC sitcom who has officially signed on to appear alongside stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei and Ramona Young in the spinoff.

The Office, which aired from 2005 to 2013, focused on the lives of office employees at Dunder Mifflin paper company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It starred Steve Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, B.J. Novak, Brian Baumgartner, Melora Hardin, Kate Flannery and more familiar faces.

Since the show came to an end, there has been a demand for a reboot or revival. Creator Greg Daniels found a way to expand the franchise by developing an original series that will follow the same mockumentary format while being set in the same universe.

Everything to Know About Peacock's Upcoming 'The Office' Spinoff

According to the logline, the documentary crew “that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch is in search of a new subject when they discover a dying historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer reporters.” The current rumored title for the Peacock series is The Paper but no official name has been announced yet.

Daniels, 61, previously clarified that while the new installment is “set in the same universe” as the original, it isn’t considered a reboot or a revival.

“I don’t like to think of anything as a reboot. Because I feel like we ended that story beautifully. The characters had closure,” he told TheWrap in November 2023. “I would never want to redo that same show with a different cast, because I think we got the luckiest cast, the best cast ever, in TV, to do that show. So the notion of a reboot is not of interest.”

As for the original cast? Nuñez, 66, signed on to make an appearance one month after Baumgartner, 52, weighed in on the project.

Everything ‘The Office’ Stars Have Said About the Upcoming Spinoff

“Everything that I’ve heard about it sounds amazing. I have no doubt that fans are going to enjoy it,” he exclusively told Us Weekly in January. “Michael Koman, who is a cocreator with Greg, is a really smart guy and Greg is a genius. He has been so reticent about stepping into that world because he’s not wanting to upset the fans. I do think, however, that at some point in time, the gang will get back together. I don’t think that we’ll do another nine but I think we will get back together.”

Carrell, 62, meanwhile, revealed in June 2024 that he spoke with Gleeson, 41, before the actor accepted the lead role in the Peacock series.

“He’s an excellent actor,” Carell said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “And he actually called me and asked, you know, ‘Should I do this? Is this something … Did you enjoy it?’ I said of course.”

Elle King’s Ups and Downs Through the Years

Elle King has faced major ups and downs over the years on her way to stardom.

King came to prominence after releasing her self-titled EP in 2012. Three years later, the singer dropped her debut album, Love Stuff, which earned her two Grammy Award nominations. King continued to find success by touring with acts such as Of Monsters and Men, The Chicks, Joan Jett, Michael Kiwanuka and Miranda Lambert.

While working her way up in the music industry, King emphasized the importance of finding success on her own. (Her parents are comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King.)

“It’s not that I wanted to be a famous person. I wanted to be a performer,” she told ABC News in November 2015. “But I worked really hard and I did everything myself and I took a name that is my mother’s name. I took that name because I wanted to be myself.”

Elle continued: “And, yeah, people know who my dad is. But I think that my voice and my music speaks for itself: that I am my own person.”

Despite starting her career with a rock focus, Elle found herself shifting her sound, revealing that she began to feel more “comfortable” when she delved into country music.

“If anybody was wondering, ‘Why would Elle King make a country record?’ Well, I said, ‘OK, I’ll tell you. Just start with the first song,’” she told Country Now in March 2023. “So that’s why I wrote [the song] ‘Ohio,’ because I’m sharing where I come from, what I love about country music and it’s also my love letter.”

Getting Her Start

Elle was born and raised in Los Angeles by dad Rob and mom London. She decided to become a musician after receiving a record by the all-female hard-rock band The Donnas at age 9. She also made her acting debut alongside her father in his late ’90s movie Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.

Three years after the release of her 2012 EP, Elle’s single “Ex’s & Oh’s” dropped to resounding success.

“It’s sweet now because you don’t want to be the kid of a famous person and I’m just so glad at this point in my life I get [people saying], ‘You’re Elle King’s dad?’” Schneider previously told Us Weekly in May 2018 about supporting his daughter. “I’m just really happy for her that she’s really getting to a good place creatively that she’s just thrilled about.”

Making a Professional Change

After earning four Grammy Awards for her music, Elle took an onscreen gig in 2019 as a guest cohost on MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show opposite Nev Schulman. She later pivoted to country music with her third album, Come Get Your Wife, which she released in January 2023.

Rocky Romance

After less than one month of dating, Elle got engaged to Andrew Ferguson in February 2016. They got married 12 days later on a sailing trip. Elle announced their split in May 2017 with an emotional social media post.

“It was and will forever be, one of the happiest days of my life. My heart is broken. My soul aches. I am lost. He is the greatest love of my life. He is my best friend,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “As we separate, and attempt to find our footing through life, all I can hope for us is that we both find happiness within ourselves.”

News later broke that Ferguson was arrested and charged in April 2017 with felony domestic violence after he allegedly grabbed Elle by the throat and threatened to kill her. Ferguson denied the allegations and the charge was subsequently dropped. The former couple briefly reconciled in late 2017 before parting ways for good.

After ending her marriage to Ferguson, Elle started dating Josh Logan, but their romance fizzled out.

Finding The One

In 2019, Elle found love with tattoo artist Dan Tooker. The couple both popped the question to each other one year later.

“We rode horses up a mountain to go gold panning,” Tooker shared via Instagram in October 2020. “I had a ring in my pocket and I was going to toss it in the gold pan and propose to @tattooker … but of course, my soulmate beat me to the punch and proposed to me the exact same way. So I immediately got down on my knee too.”

In response to the post, Elle replied, “I love you, Daniel. One year down, forever to go. I said Yes by the way and so did he!”

A Difficult Road to Parenthood

Elle suffered multiple miscarriages before she became pregnant with her and Tooker’s rainbow baby, son Lucky, born in September 2021.

“I’m really excited to bring Lucky out on the road. It’s been a really big dream of mine to become a mom and have a family. And I’ve always kind of dreamt about having my family touring with me and seeing the world and experiencing life together,” Elle told Music Mayhem Magazine in August 2022. “It’s really, really fun and it fills up my heart and he’s the best.“

Speaking Out About Her Struggles

“I really like to drink and sing. I don’t want to get as drunk as I used to,” Elle told the San Diego Union-Tribune in February 2022. “It’s easier for me to say: ‘Yeah, I want to drink and party and [then] go on stage.’ I get nervous before I go on stage, [so] I have a couple of drinks [first]. Drinking makes me less nervous about hitting the notes when I sing. If I don’t make them, it won’t sting as much.”

Sparking Split Speculation

Elle King s Ups and Downs Throughout the Years

Elle sparked split speculation when she performed at the Stagecoach Festival in May 2023 wearing a jacket that had the word “single” on it. One month later, Elle had a cryptic response about the outfit and her relationship with Tooker.

“I do love love, I think that love is a beautiful thing. All I can say is that me and my family are really happy and my kid is doing well and I feel great. So, that’s what life looks like for me right now,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I think maybe if we shifted and say rooting for love for myself, I think that’s a nice little twist.”

Grand Ole Opry Backlash

During a Dolly Parton tribute performance at the Grand Ole Opry in January 2024, Elle was slurring her words on stage and cursing heavily. “You ain’t getting your money back,” she told a heckler in footage taken at the event. “I’ll tell you one thing more: ‘Hi, my name is Elle King [and] I’m f—king hammered.’”

Fans slammed Elle’s inebriated behavior and questioned why she was allowed to shout obscenities during the family-friendly “Opry Goes Dolly” show.

The Opry issued an apology shortly after the show, writing, “We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance.”

Elle remained silent over the incident but announced via social media that her final January 2024 show at Billy Bob’s Texas was pushed back eight months. She also cleared her February show schedule and postponed the gigs until March.

Two months later, Elle broke her silence, writing via Instagram, “To everyone sending me love because I’m human and already talked to Dolly 💅 I love you. To everyone who told me to k*ll myself I love you too.”

Addressing Her Issues With Dad Rob Schneider

Elle opened up about her tense relationship with her father during an August 2024 appearance on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast, saying, “If I would ever spend a summer with my dad it would be on a movie set. I would just get lost in the shuffle. If I ever messed up a shot, if I ever was talking, I would get in f—g trouble.”

According to Elle, she and Schneider would go “four or five years” without speaking to each other.

“Honestly, when I put out my record and people finally started asking about my dad, my dad called me and was like, ‘Don’t f—g talk about me in the press.’ Like, all right. OK, great. But also it’s like, get f—d. I don’t care,” she continued. “Like, hey, listen, people have asked me about your f—g ass for years. And I’m like, you’re talking out your ass, and you’re talking s—t about drag and f—g anti-gay rights.”

Schneider addressed his daughter’s comments that same month.

“I want to just tell my daughter, Elle, I love you and I wish I was the father in my 20s that you needed and clearly I wasn’t and I hope you can forgive me for my shortcomings,” he said in an interview with Tucker Carlson. “I love you completely. I love you entirely. And I just want you to be well and happy with you and your beautiful baby, Lucky. I wish you the best. I feel terrible and I just want you to know that I don’t take anything you say personally.”

Getting Back Together

After taking some time apart, Elle shared in September 2024 that she and Tooker reconciled after their son, Lucky, brought them closer together.

“He’s definitely brought me and his dad back together just because, what are we doing? We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let’s put our weapons down. Come on. This is it. This is life,” she said to People at the time. “It doesn’t get better than this. This is worth trying. This is worth wiping a slate clean. This is worth all the effort in the world. My family, this is what deserves all the energy and effort.”

Being Her Best Self

Following the backlash of her Grand Ole Opry performance, Elle decided to focus on bettering herself. She credited her son as her inspiration for wanting to improve.

“He’s going to find out about all this one day, and he’s going to see that I tried to be just the best version of myself,” she told People in September 2024. “And I used it to make myself better, and I did. It’s more of a love story of self than anything.”

Elle added that she also didn’t want to let her fans down as well, especially when they buy a ticket to see her show. After the incident, Elle confessed that she “felt so afraid” to have a drink before going on stage.

“I appreciated someone buying tickets to my concert. I wasn’t going to let them down,” she reflected. “I did let people down. And ultimately, I let myself down that day, and I never wanted to feel that ever again … I’m definitely able to put on a better show because of some changes that I’ve made in my life, and it gets me more excited.”

Surprise Pregnancy Reveal

Days after confirming she and Tooker rekindled their romance, Elle announced via Instagram in September 2024 that the pair are expecting their second baby. They celebrated the milestone with a sex reveal party, learning they’re having another son. “Doubling down 💙,” Elle wrote in the caption.

Baby No. 2

King gave birth to her and Tooker’s second baby in February 2025.

“Our family just got a little bit brighter,” she and Tooker wrote in a joint Instagram post on February 28. “Welcome to the world, Royal Tooker 💙.”

Stephen Amell Shuts Down 'Your Mom' Joke on 'Suits LA': She 'Passed Away'

Stephen Amell‘s Suits LA character, Ted, has a lot of strengths — but picking up on humor is not one of them.

In Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek from the Sunday, March 2, episode of NBC’s legal drama, Lex Scott Davis‘ character, Erica, attempts to start the day off with a joke.

“Just the woman I wanted to see,” Ted says, to which she replies, “I was going to say the same thing.”

Ted asks “who” Erica was referring to — a perfect setup for a “your mom” quip. “My mom passed away years ago,” Ted deadpans. Erica isn’t thrilled by the response, adding, “Way to suck the fun out of the morning. Are you here to tell me I have a tumor?”

'Suits LA' Has Some Major Similarities to 'Suits': A Complete Breakdown

After the joke fail, Ted switches the topic to their A-list client Dylan Pryor (Victoria Justice).

“She has got two movies. One is an indie and the other is a potential action franchise, I am sure you can guess what the priority is,” Ted says before realizing they aren’t on the same page. “Erica, you have no idea who Dylan Pryor is, do you?”

Erica, however, fires back that Ted has “no proof” of that.

“She is your client who we signed last week who you need me to take care of, which I will,” she points out. “That will be all.”

Following some playful back and forth, Ted returns to the task at hand, saying, “Funny games aside, Stuart [Josh McDermitt] taking half the firm is still the talk of the town. Dylan is a new client and you are the new head of entertainment.”

Erica assures Ted that he had nothing to worry about with her. “I know what the stakes are and I know you are focusing on Lester’s murder trial,” she concludes in the clip. “Whatever she needs, I will get it done.”

Suits LA, which premiered earlier this month, is a spinoff starring Amell, 43, McDermitt, 46, Davis, 33, and Bryan Greenberg. The series is a response to a resurgence in interest after the original Suits was added to Netflix and Peacock.

“We want to play the hits. We want to have a lot of fun,” Amell told Entertainment Weekly in December 2024. “We are only sitting in Black Lane Law group conference room at the moment right now because of Gabriel and Patrick and Sarah and Meghan and Rick [Hoffman] and all of the people that comprised the original Suits cast. So all of them are welcome.”

Set in a fictional New York City corporate law firm, the original Suits followed associate lawyer Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who started working with Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). The legal drama, which ran from 2011 to 2019, focused on Harvey and Mike winning lawsuits and closing cases while simultaneously hiding Mike’s secret that he didn’t go to law school.

“You’ll notice behind my desk that there’s a picture of a young Ted Black with what can only be a young Harvey Specter so there’s clearly a history between the characters,” Amell teased to EW. “We came up together in the D.A.’s office. So if I was going to have anyone [from the original cast] come back, I would want it to be Gabriel.”

He continued: “I would really hope that that happens, because I am very much a fan of his character and I think that that dynamic would be something that the viewers would really enjoy. … I’m not the one that invites [past actors for cameos], but as far as I’m concerned, all of them are welcome. We’re going to do our own thing, and that’s OK. We do things on this show that they couldn’t do on the original.”

'Traitors' Producers Reveal NDA Rules Amid Danielle, Britney Spoiler Theory

The Traitors producers broke their silence on whether Danielle Reyes told Britney Haynes off screen that she wasn’t a Faithful.

During the Thursday, February 27, episode of Peacock’s hit competition series, Danielle recruited Britney as a fellow Traitor, but the build-up to the plot twist felt too predictable to some viewers. Traitor Carolyn Wiger, who was banished on last week’s episode, has since accused Danielle of spoiling the game for Britney, 37, which would go against NDAs signed in the castle.

“I find that theory mad, if I’m honest. We listen to absolutely everything that happens in the castle. We’re with them 24/7, they’re either filming or in their rooms,” executive producer Mike Cotton told Variety on Thursday, February 27. “There was never a moment where any of us ever heard Danielle reveal to Britney or whoever else that she was a Traitor.”

Cotton noted that ruining the reveal for Britney wouldn’t have helped Danielle, 53, adding, “Also, that would be an absolutely crazy move, because you’re then out of the game, essentially. I can’t see any reason why anyone would actually ever do that.”

'Traitors' Season 3 Cast's Unfiltered Thoughts on Danielle Reyes' Behavior

There are also Non-disclosure agreements to think about.

“They sign a lot of paperwork, and the Traitors sign their own oath and agreement with us,” Cotton revealed. “There’s lots of things like that, but there was never a moment that we heard when anyone revealed their identity and honestly, it wouldn’t make any sense.”

Reality fans have tuned in each week to watch stars from different franchises play in a mafia-style game with a prize of up to $250,000. The guidelines are simple: most people are Faithfuls while a select few become Traitors, whose mission it is to get to the finale and steal the earnings from the Faithfuls.

In the past, the Traitors have worked together for the sake of a common goal. This season, however, Boston Rob Mariano changed all expectations when he accused fellow Traitor Bob the Drag Queen at a roundtable meeting, which caused the latter’s banishment. From there, Danielle and Carolyn used the same tactic to try to get the other person out of the game. (Boston Rob himself was banished and exposed weeks later.)

The Traitors' Britney and Danielle's 'Big Brother' Drama Explained

“The whole idea of the show is Traitors vs Faithfuls. I think the Traitors were quite a harmonious group, until Rob went for Bob the Drag Queen, and it unraveled from there,” Cotton explained to Variety. “Is that terrifying? Yeah! The roundtable between Rob and Bob was slightly heart-stopping for us, because it could have blown everything up. But that is also what makes it great. I really like the fact that this season is different. I like the fact that those turrets have been fascinating to watch, and it’s given the whole season a different feel.”

Cotton admitted there were concerns that Traitors would accidentally out each other in the heat of the moment, saying, “And we didn’t put those Traitors together thinking that they were all going to argue and that they weren’t going to get along. We actually thought it’d be really interesting to see the gamers’ strategic minds work together, and how they played. It just so happened that they, at times, imploded instead of working together.”

Luckily, the contestants stood by the rules provided to them.

“The Traitors take an oath with [host] Alan [Cumming], where they promise to murder every night and they promise to keep the identity of their fellow Traitors a secret. The rules say that they can, at the roundtable, accuse a fellow Traitor of being a Traitor, but only from the guise of being a Faithful themselves,” Cotton detailed. “What they could never do is say, ‘I know that he’s a Traitor because I’m one as well.’ Or ‘Because I’ve been to the turret.’ They have to be acting as the Faithful when they accuse another Traitor.”

All Rules and Behind-the-Scenes Secrets You Didn’t Know About ‘The Traitors’

He continued: “So, it’s quite terrifying to watch when two Traitors are going hard at each other. It’s also a risky move. We say to any Traitors, of course you can accuse another Traitor, but you have to be aware of how that might affect your own gameplay. Rob went in there, bold, and took out Bob. And he actually carried on for quite awhile longer. Perhaps, if the Traitors had been more of a harmonious group after, he would still be in the game. You just don’t know.”

New episodes of The Traitors are released Thursdays on Peacock.

Jenna Elfman Didn't Feel Hopeful About Sitcom Return Until 'Shifting Gears'

Jenna Elfman wasn’t sure she would return to sitcoms — until she got the offer for Tim Allen‘s hit ABC series Shifting Gears.

“We all love a good sitcom, but it has felt hard to do in terms of streaming and social media and the great sitcoms were before all of that,” Elfman, 53, exclusively told Us Weekly. “I really love the format [of Shifting Gears]. So I’ve been interested in doing one, but I didn’t feel hopeful that it could be done well or fresh or new.”

All it took was a conversation with showrunner Michelle Nader for Elfman to choose Shifting Gears as her next project, adding, “I’ve worked with Tim before on a film, so I know he’s lovely. He’s so good at what he does. It’s like you don’t even see it happening and then all of a sudden it’s just brilliant. But Michelle Nader and I had a phone conversation, and she was walking me through what her plan is in terms of the sitcom and making it feel fresh, which is so hard.”

She continued: “So Michelle — and the rest of the cast and crew — are just kicking ass. It’s so good. She just wanted to have a fresh take on what a strong woman looks like. Everything she said resonated with me. It felt like home for me.”

'Dharma and Greg' Cast: Where Are They Now?

Elfman left a lasting impression when she starred on the hit sitcom Dharma & Greg, which scored her a Golden Globe and three Emmy nominations throughout its run. She has remained on our screen since then but fans have been eagerly awaiting another multi-camera project from the actress.

“I loved [Michelle’s] take on how to approach the family at the center of [Shifting Gears] and the generational divides culturally, politically and emotionally. It’s a sitcom but it’s grounded with talent, who knows how to act and who knows how to deliver comedy,” Elfman added. “At the same time, the writing really supports that as well. Everything felt right for me to come play and I’m so glad I did because I had a very good time. We just finished filming the final episode last night and it’s so good.”

Shifting Gears, which premiered in January, follows Allen’s character, Matt, as he reconnects with his estranged daughter, Riley (Kat Dennings), after the death of his wife. Elfman, meanwhile, plays spirited choreographer Eve Drake, who owns a dance studio across from the classic car restoration shop run by Matt.

“You’re going to see more of the dynamic between Matt and Eve,” Elfman teased to Us about her recurring role. “Just more forthright communication, opinions and exchange. You get to see people being their full selves in each other’s face. It’s really fun.”

Elfman went on to praise Allen, 71, for being a perfect scene partner.

“He’s so confident as a comedic actor. He’s just confident and I’m confident and we don’t care if something [doesn’t land],” she noted to Us. “When you’ve been doing it long enough, you’re not paranoid about a joke not working and you don’t care. There’s no preciousness and there’s enough confidence to support the exploration of the scene of humor.”

Shifting Gears airs on ABC Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET before streaming the next day on Hulu.

Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey Discuss 'Yellowjackets,' Hollywood and More

It took three seasons but Showtime’s Yellowjackets is finally pairing off Christina Ricci and Melanie Lynskey on screen — to hilarious results.

Luckily, collaborating comes easy for the costars — who have crossed paths many times throughout their individual journeys in Hollywood.

“We’ve known each other personally. We were in our 20s [and] I met you when you did But I’m a Cheerleader because I went to that premiere,” Ricci recalled during Us Weekly’s first TV-focused “In Conversation” feature. “We ran into each other [again] at SoulCycle when we were in our 30s.”

Before they got to reunite on Yellowjackets, Lynskey and Ricci started out as each other’s biggest fans. Ricci couldn’t help but gush over Lynskey’s performance in Heavenly Creatures while her scene partner and good friend used the opportunity to praise Ricci’s personal impact on those around her.

How ‘Yellowjackets’ '90s Cast Compares to Their Present Day Counterparts

The sweet exchange — and on Ricci’s birthday no less — is a stark difference to Lynskey and Ricci’s onscreen counterparts. Even since Yellowjackets debuted in 2019, Lynskey has played the older version of Sophie Nélisse‘s Shauna who guards her feelings after a plane crash when they were teenagers left the all-girl soccer team stranded in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. Ricci, meanwhile, plays the quirky Misty — a role she shares with Samantha Hanratty — who wants to fit in no matter how much those around her push her away.

Christina Ricci: How familiar were we with each other before working on Yellowjackets?

Melanie Lynskey: Well, you’re Christina Ricci.

CR: I know, but we’ve known each other personally.

ML: We have known each other a very long time.

CR: Since we were in our 20s. I met you when you did But I’m a Cheerleader because I went to that premiere.

ML: That’s right! That was that long ago. … We knew each other. And then of course I was very familiar with your work. I was a huge fan.

CR: And I with yours! A huge fan of Heavenly Creatures, which I believe I said to you.

ML: I think you did too.

CR: I absolutely would have.

ML: I’m such a fan of yours and always have been. Everything you’ve done, you’re so wonderful.

CR: [Then] we ran into each other at SoulCycle when we were in our 30s.

Winter TV Preview 2025: Inside Must-Watch New and Returning Shows

ML: And what have we liked about each other’s work? Well, I’ve loved everything about you. I thought you’re an amazing human being.

CR: Aw, you know I love you so much.

ML: You got pretty emotional. It’s your birthday. I just think you’re such an amazing person. You’re such an amazing mother. I love how you defend people that you love. I love how strong you are. I love how smart you are. You’re so kind. You’re very, very funny. You will always have the funniest possible thing to say in any awkward situation.

CR: Melanie is amazing. Melanie is like a big sister and I’m a little sister. I always will look to you and just be like, “Am I out of bounds? Regulate me.” I just love it. I always feel like we have such a great rapport and you’re just such a wonderful [person]. I feel safe with you personally and you’re such an amazing actress and you make so much out of so little.

CR: You know what I mean? You bring so much to something. There’ll be a line written that I’m just like, “Oh, it’s just a line.” Then you create something behind it that is just so impactful and amazing. From Heavenly Creatures on, I’ve always been a fan. I think that I had a secret thing about Two and a Half Men because I really enjoyed you on it.

ML: This is news to me. We really enjoy each other and [I love that] you’ll almost always have a glass of wine at dinner — as will I. I do appreciate that. Because you do want to have a glass of wine.

CR: We’re all women [on the show] who have a glass of wine at dinner.

ML: We are actually. We all are. Now Christina, what gets you back into character for Yellowjackets each season? Does it happen when you’re back in the wardrobe or is there a playlist you have?

CR: I think being on set and the combination of the lines and the atmosphere and the wardrobe all helps me get back into character. But I also feel like when you play a character for an extended period of time, that person is sort of always with you in a weird way.

CR: Mel, how do you turn yourself back into Shauna?

ML: There was a point at the beginning of the season where I’m always like, ‘Oh my God, did we forget?’ And I remember being at a point where I’m like, ‘What’s Misty like?’ When we were about to do the scene, I was like, ‘What’s this going to be like?’ And then I was like, “Oh, right.”

ML: You feel a bit sort of shaky. It is always a long time between seasons but then this happens.

CR: I will say that coming back for season 2 was so daunting and so difficult. For me, my physicality was really discussed and I had been pregnant the entire time during season 1. So everyone was talking about my waddle walk and I was like, “Well, that’s because of the baby inside me and I don’t have it anymore. So how am I going to do this?”

CR: That was a little intimidating and I think I tried too hard for the first couple of episodes, but then it was OK.

Hulu Reveals Premiere Date for 'The Kardashians' Season 6

ML: The show is likened to a gender-swapped Lord of the Flies. Is there another story historically focused on men that you’d like to retell with women instead?

ML: I did an all-female live read of Glengarry Glen Ross. That was really fun.

CR: I could see that being really dynamic with a bunch of women.

CR: After spending three years on Yellowjackets, what makes it different from anything else you’ve worked on?

ML: It’s different in that there’s so many women our age. It’s great to be around so many women and it’s always surprising. But every job is different.

ML: One thing we share is that we both started acting at a young age. Did Cher give you any advice on the set of Mermaids when you were just 9?

CR: She gave me so much advice. She was literally the person on set that’d I would be like, “What’s happening now?” And she’d be like, “We’re going to move over there because this is happening.” She literally talked me through everything.

CR: I remember there was a scene where everybody had to cry and I was just like, “How am I going to do this crying thing?” And I literally was like, ‘So how are you going to cry, Cher?’ She was like, ‘Well, I’m listening to this music and then I do this thing.’ She has a tactile thing she does.

ML: Oh wow.

CR: She touches something and the fabric evokes an emotion. So she walked me through all that and she just literally explained everything to me all the time. She was absolutely amazing and spoke to me with consciousness that I was a child. But it was never like I wouldn’t be able to understand something she was telling me.

ML: Appropriate but respectful.

CR: Yes. It was like, “You are a human being and I’m sure if you don’t understand this, you’ll follow up with a question.” I was never condescended to and I was always fully informed. It was an amazing experience. She was so kind to me.

ML: Aw, little Christina. A little genius. I love that.

2025 TV Wishlist: What Us Weekly Wants to See on 'Bridgerton' and More Shows

CR: What about you as a teenager? Did you learn anything from Kate Winslet making Heavenly Creatures? And you guys were the same age and it was like both of your first movies?

ML: No, she had been working for so long. It was her first movie and it was my first professional job. But she had been working a lot in television in England. And I remember it was the first time I’d seen a headshot. She had headshots and I was like, ‘What are they for?’ And she was like, “Oh, you send them to fans.” The concept of having a bunch of photographs of yourself? That was how I realized I knew nothing. I had absolutely no idea.

CR: Did you go to an open casting?

ML: They came to my high school.

CR: And before that, did you have any aspirations of being an actress?

ML: I loved acting. I wanted to be an actor. Everyone said, “That’s not a real job. You have to choose something else.”

CR: That was said to me, even when I was in four movies. They’re like, “Well, you got to decide what you’re going to be as an adult.”

ML: You were like, “I’m so funny and successful. I think I’m doing OK.”

CR: But that’s so funny. It was like an open casting call that came to your high school?

Yellowjackets Christina Ricci and Melanie Lynskey Interview Each Other Us Weeklys In Conversation
Paramount+ with SHOWTIME

ML: They came to my high school and I didn’t audition. It was just improvised. They didn’t want anyone to know what the project was. But I’ve been doing dramatic improv every night — every Friday night — since I was like 7 years old.

CR: That’s amazing.

ML: It was what we all did. My group of friends, we went to this class and did this. So that was easy and that was fun. Then I had a proper real audition that was very intimidating,

ML: But [Kate] was so helpful. She understood the things I had no idea about, and then they gave me a free day on set of learning how to hit a mark and not look at the camera, feel your light, and just getting used to it. It was amazing. So I wasn’t showing up trying to get the scene.

CR: But then there was also figuring out all these logistical things that you have to do.

ML: But she was amazing. We talk about how I’m so often the big sister — and that was one dynamic where she was very much the big sister. I think that was also really nice for me. I’ve never had an older sibling and so it was really also a very positive experience.

CR: That’s good to hear!

ML: In season 3, we see Shauna and Misty spending a lot of time together. Why would you say that now is the right time for Shauna and Misty to get closer?

CR: We love working together. We’ve always had a good time and a shorthand. And you and I have so much experience on sets that it’s just so easy and natural.

CR: I would say from Misty’s point of view, the impetus for her is that she’s lost her best friend and she’s seeking new friendships and people to be closer to. And Taissa and Van are in their own little worlds and not accessible. Shauna is accessible. That is where Misty seeks out the new friendship.

Did You Realize 'Elsbeth' on CBS Is Subtly Throwing the Best Celeb Shade?

Feature Breaking Down How Elsbeth on CBS Is Subtly Throwing the Best Celeb Shade
Michael Parmelee/CBS

Who knew that Carrie Preston‘s quirky CBS procedural Elsbeth would be secretly brilliant at throwing subtle — yet fun — celebrity shade?

After originally appearing on The Good Wife and The Good Fight, Preston was reintroduced as Elsbeth Tascioni, who became a de facto detective that aids the NYPD in their investigations. The titular character’s unconventional methods led her to make unique observations that help solve crimes.

Elsbeth, which premiered in 2024, also stars Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson. The procedural nature of the show meant each episode has new characters that need Elsbeth’s help with viewers usually knowing who was to blame for a crime from the beginning of the episode.

But the CBS series isn’t just about entertaining weekly cases or star-studded cameos, Elsbeth quickly cemented itself as the show with the best shade. From bringing up Justin Timberlake‘s DUI to mentioning Meghan Markle‘s issues with the royal family, keep scrolling for the highlights:

“What happened to all our high-profile cases?” Elsbeth asked when season 2 premiered in October 2024, to which Kaya (Patterson) replied, “Oh, they’re all in Martha’s Vineyard, Tuscany … [or] driving drunk in Sag Harbor.”

The joke aired four months after Timberlake got charged with one count of driving while intoxicated. Timberlake subsequently agreed to a plea deal, accepting a lesser charge of traffic violation. He was ordered to complete 25 to 40 hours of community service with a nonprofit, pay a $500 fine and issue a public safety announcement.

Season 2 introduced a mystery at a high-end jewelry store — seemingly inspired by Tiffanys — where a woman tried to get approved for a membership-restricted floor.

“I heard Kate Middleton applied three times and she still didn’t get in,” Jenn Lyon‘s character Celeste told Vanessa Williams‘ Rosalyn Bridwell in a November 2024 episode.

An episode from January 2025 featured Elsbeth investigating a holistic wellness center after a patient is found dead in his car. Elsbeth immediately got a bad feeling about the facility’s founder (Eric McCormack) when getting the case assignment from Captain Wagner (Wendell Pierce).

“In the meantime, I need you on a case. A young man, Cole Campbell, was found deceased on the highway. His car ran off the road,” Captain Wagner said. “The last place he was seen was some fancy spa where celebrities and the royals go to.”

Pierce, who played Meghan Markle‘s dad on Suits, poked fun at the wellness center‘s popularity in character, adding, “The global press was already trying to frame Meghan Markle, and she wasn’t even there!”

Bringing Up the College Scandal

During a February 2025 episode, Matthew Broderick played an educational consultant named Lawrence, who promised an Ivy League future to high-paying clients with help from an assistant — played by the actor’s real-life son James Wilkie Broderick.

“Schools are cracking down. They are trying to be more meritocratic. Gone are the days when a simple 10 million donation guaranteed you a spot freshman year,” Lawrence told parents about their child’s future in the opening scene. “In the current climate, outmatch educational consulting is a real bargain. You don’t want to start too late then panic senior year and end up sharing a prison cell with a Desperate Housewife.”

The shady line referenced Felicity Huffman‘s role as Lynette on Desperate Housewives, which aired on ABC from 2004 to 2012. Huffman was arrested at gunpoint by FBI agents in 2019 for her involvement in the infamous college admissions scandal.

Following her arrest, Huffman pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. She served 11 days in prison in October 2019, paid a $30,000 fine and completed 250 hours of community service for her crimes.

Ruby Franke's Ex Wants to Date Someone New After Her Child Abuse Arrest

Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke‘s divorce is still in the works but he is already looking forward to moving on with someone new.

“As of today, I’m still working through the divorce,” Kevin, 46, said in an interview with People, which was published on Wednesday, February 26. “We’re trying to reach a settlement. It’s been a long process, well over a year, but it’s ongoing.”

Kevin noted he was “close” to being officially divorced from Ruby, 43. He has also started thinking about getting back into the dating scene.

“Well, of course, it’s something I think about,” he admitted. “But I’m a man of my honor, and I’m still technically married. So I’m holding off until the divorce is finalized. When the time’s right, that’s something I think that I’ll look forward to pursuing.”

Ruby Franke's Unseen Footage Reveals New Child Abuse Claims Before Arrest

Ruby and Kevin were happily married when they rose to stardom in 2015 for documenting their day-to-day lives as parents of six kids. Their marriage hit a turning point four years later when they started going to therapy with Jodi Hildebrandt.

Kevin recently broke his silence about how Ruby’s friendship with Hildebrandt led to him leaving their family home in 2022. Nearly one year later, Ruby and Hildebrandt were arrested and charged with six counts of felony child abuse. The arrest came after Ruby’s youngest son, who was 12 years old at the time, escaped out of a window in their home and ran to a neighbor’s house where he asked for food and water. Authorities noticed that the child was malnourished and had duct tape on his ankles and wrists.

Ruby pleaded guilty to four counts of child abuse in December 2023 and admitted she tortured her children. As part of her plea deal, she agreed to serve a prison term and agreed that her sentences would run consecutively. She also agreed to testify against Hildebrandt, who pleaded guilty.

“You are the love of my life,” Ruby said in an apology to her kids and Kevin during a February 2024 court hearing. “The ending of our marriage is a tragedy.”

Kevin was asked about his relationship with Ruby in Hulu’s three-part docuseries Devil in the Family, which premiered on Thursday, February 27.

“Definitely. I always loved her,” he noted. When a producer asked if Kevin still felt the same way “even though she abused the kids,” Kevin stood by his initial statement, adding, “Oh, yeah. The actions that she did are atrocious. But I still feel a longing and I miss her.”

Kevin continued: “All of the delivery rooms and all of the moments holding our children. It is easy for the world to hate that woman and so many people want me to join in that chorus and I cannot turn off all of those other memories.”

Ruby Franke, Jodi Hildebrandt's Friendship Timeline Amid Child Abuse Arrest

Despite his complicated connection to Ruby, Kevin couldn’t excuse her actions. “I found it very difficult to look at Ruby [in the courtroom] so I chose not to,” he added. “To hear this woman — that I had worshiped — admit to destroying our family, that hurt.”

Kevin has also expressed regret about separating from Ruby in 2022 and allowing her to allegedly keep him from seeing the kids.

“Little by little, I was accepting the idea that Ruby and Jodi had done something awful,” he recalled. “I feel angry when I think about that. I absolutely feel guilty. I was the last line of defense for these children and I packed my bags and walked away.”

Michelle Trachtenberg's Official Cause of Death Will Remain 'Undetermined'

Michelle Trachtenberg Official Cause of Death Revealed

Michelle Trachtenberg‘s official cause of death has been revealed.

Trachtenberg’s death was officially listed as “undetermined” on Thursday, February 27, because her family objected to an autopsy, the city medical examiner’s office told the New York Post.

Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, February 26, that the actress died at age 39. Police sources told Us at the time that her death was not being investigated as suspicious.

Before her death, Trachtenberg slammed criticism from “haters” who questioned her appearance. She shared a photo with Alexa PenaVega on Instagram in January 2024, to which a fan wrote back, “Michelle u look sick. R u ok?”

Celebrity Deaths of 2025: Stars We've Lost This Year

Trachtenberg defended her looks in multiple social media comments.

“Explain to me how I look sick. Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment,” she wrote before elaborating in a separate post, “I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy. Check yourself haters.”

Trachtenberg rose to fame for her role in the 1996 movie Harriet the Spy. She subsequently joined the casts of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl. Trachtenberg continued to book TV roles on shows such as Mercy, Weeds, Criminal Minds, Meet, Marry, Murder and she reprised the role of Georgina Sparks in the 2022 Gossip Girl reboot.

The actress stayed close to her former costars, praising their success over the years.

Leighton [Meester] and I actually had dinner not too long ago, and she’s also a mother,” Trachtenberg told Us and other reporters at an event in February 2020. “I think it’s just amazing what they’ve all accomplished.”

Trachtenberg was also asked about the decision to return as Georgina, joking, “I’m old. The jig is up.” Her reservations about reprising the role didn’t stop Trachtenberg from thinking of where her character would be now.

Most Shocking Celebrity Deaths of All Time

“Oh, f–king killing people. You wouldn’t even find the bodies,” she quipped. “You know [how] you don’t know where Jimmy Hoffa is? You can’t find Georgina’s bodies.”

While reflecting on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer in a separate interview, Trachtenberg revealed to Entertainment Tonight in 2021 that she was still in touch with former costar Sarah Michelle Gellar.

“Actually, I was texting with Sarah the other day. And I was like, ‘Oh, man. I should have taken a whole bunch of stuff [from set],’” she joked. “She was like, ‘You don’t leave your house.’ Which is arguably accurate via the COVID.”

Trachtenberg added: “I’ve known Sarah for, oh my god, 30 years. Something to that effect, just shy. And I rubbed her belly at her baby shower when [her daughter] Miss Charlotte was in there. And now she could practically be in college right now. I don’t know.”
