“It’s so complicated. It depends on what you’re speaking in terms of. If you’re speaking in terms of a game, if she and I were to ever play something again then it is absolutely muddier,” Britney, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly. “It is somehow in a worse place than we were in the first place, which I hate.”
“I’ve always had tremendous respect for her — for the game player that she was way before my time on Big Brother and for the road that she paved for women who play the game on Big Brother in general,” Britney explained. “So on a personal level, I hope [it is not muddier].”
She continued: “That was truly what you saw my emotions coming from [on the show and at the reunion] was because I do have so much respect for her. But from a game perspective — if we were ever to play a game again together — then it is absolutely [more messy].”

Britney didn’t fault Danielle, 53, for not trusting her, adding, “I understand. That makes complete sense to me. I don’t fault her for it at all. Obviously, there would be every reason that she would have to doubt it, and that makes sense to me. I hate it but it makes sense.”
Before Danielle and Britney appeared on season 3 of The Traitors, they had a rocky partnership on Big Brother Reindeer Games. The issues continued when they reunited on the hit Peacock series, but it seemed like they were getting to a better place when Danielle recruited Britney as a Traitor.
The decision cost Danielle her place on the show though because Britney ultimately helped vote her off during the Thursday, March 6 finale. They tried to address the drama at the reunion special, but it only got more complicated when Danielle claimed they “had a relationship before Big Brother Reindeer Games” because they “spent a long time together.”

“I spent three cumulative hours with you. But you keep saying that and it makes me look bad, and I have to act like we were friends for years,” Britney fired back on Thursday’s special. “But it was honestly heartbreaking for me [the way the season ended]. It’s not the outcome that I wanted. … I was genuinely heartbroken.”
Danielle clarified at the reunion that there was no bad blood between them — but there was also no trust. While speaking with Us, Britney elaborated on how they left things after they wrapped up filming.
“We had a really good and long conversation. It was an overdue conversation, and it was a good conversation from my perspective,” she explained to Us. “She’s probably just as tired of this as I am. It’s exhausting. I am anti-confrontational anyway. I would love nothing more than to move on. I felt that way before Traitors, but I don’t want to speak for her either. I don’t want to invalidate the way that she may feel from my perspective though. I would love to just put it to bed.”
Meghann Fahy posted her past red-carpet looks before anyone else could.
Fahy, 34, took to Instagram on Friday, March 6, to rate her past looks before anyone could poke fun at her.
First reflecting on her sexy Valentino ensemble at the 2023 Daily Front Row’s Fashion Awards in Los Angeles, Fahy simply said, “Honestly, someone stole my shirt.” Her slinky look consisted of nothing, but a black bralette equipped with triangular cups and a bow in the middle and black flared slacks. She teamed her look with beachy waves and dangling earrings.
The White Lotus star then flashed to her most recent red carpet look at the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards in February 2025. “This is cute,” she said, smiling at her Saint Laurent dress, featuring one sleeve, a cutout on her side tied together with silky bows and a thigh-high slit. “I liked this.”
Fahy then took us back to 2012 with her next look, a plunging little black dress she wore to the New York City premiere of Political Animals. “Pre-stylist,” she explained, noting the look was from Rent the Runway. Since ditching Rent the Runway, Fahy has been working with stylist Thomas Carter Phillips.
Moving onto a pleated pink skirt and salmon blazer that she wore at a Walt Disney Television Upfront in 2019, Fahy joked that the Glinda-approved look was an “Unofficial Wicked collab.” She then jumped to 2023, when she effortlessly slayed in a white Ralph Lauren one-shoulder dress at the SAG Awards. “Peak,” Fahy called her look.

She also briefly showed a picture of her cutout catsuit at the Bold Type premiere in 2017 but said nothing about the interesting design. In silence, Fahy put her hand over her mouth before cutting to possibly her sexiest look to date: a completely sheer Victoria Beckham outfit.
The design included a plunging bodysuit with an open back. Fahy paired it with a coordinating lace skirt that exposed her legs. She called the silky ensemble “underpants.”

Guy Gansert is trading the Bachelor mansion for Port Charles.
The Golden Bachelorette runner-up, 66, has landed a guest starring role on General Hospital, per People. Gansert, who is a retired ER doctor, will play a wildlife journalist named Geoffrey Beckett who makes his debut on the Wednesday, March 12, episode.
“They loved the idea of a real ER doctor who made it to the final two of The Golden Bachelorette,” he told the outlet on Friday, March 7. “Even though I was ecstatic over being a cast member on The Golden Bachelorette, this was an exciting opportunity to actually act and be a part of an iconic show. This is all happening after deciding to hang up my stethoscope and retire after 35 years.”
Bachelor Nation was introduced to Gansert during the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette. Gansert was one of the many suitors vying for Joan Vassos’ affection. Gansert made it to the final two, where Vassos ultimately got engaged to Chock Chapple during the November 2024 finale.
Gansert, who has been a fan of the soap since college, explained that the potential role came into fruition after he joked to one of the Bachelor producers that he’d like a chance to be on “such a well-respected long-running series” despite having “absolutely no acting experience.” Weeks later, he had a meeting with the series’ executive producer Frank Valentini.

One month after his chat with Valentini, Gansert “received an offer to be on a small one-day episode” which he immediately accepted. When Gansert arrived on set for filming, he was embraced with open arms, calling the experience “surreal.”
“The producers, directors, actresses were so incredibly kind and supportive and put me at ease,” Gansert recalled. “They were all welcoming. There was definitely a sense of family amongst all staff. It was one of the most fun things I have done. They made me feel special.”
After getting a taste of the acting bug and finding himself more comfortable on the screen, Gansert is hopeful to return to General Hospital after his one-episode arc airs.
“Before I went on the show, I was happy just to have one chance to see what it is like behind the scenes. Now, I had so much fun and I feel like I could take being comfortable in front of a camera to a more relaxed and excellent level,” Gansert told the outlet. “GH, just give me one more chance!”
Joe Bradley called fellow Southern Hospitality cast member Emmy Sharrett a “star,” but he’s not sure the show is good for her if Will Kulp remains her boyfriend.
“I think hospitality in the TV world is 100 percent for Emmy,” Joe exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, March 6, after Will chose not to attend the season 3 reunion and left Emmy alone once again with the rest of the cast.
Joe confessed, “I don’t know if it’s for Emmy if she’s with Will and they continue this behavior and this dynamic in their relationship.”
The reality star noted if Emmy and Will want to have a “thriving relationship,” then they need to be “all in with each other.” Joe claimed, “It doesn’t look like [that]. It looks like she’s all into him. I don’t know if he’s all into her. I want him to be.”

Joe revealed that it’s “frustrating” to watch Emmy and Will not be on the same page, support-wise. “I do want them to be a happy couple and it’s not me talking s—,” he told Us. “I am just saying that I am mostly saying this out of frustration.”
During the season 3 finale of the Bravo series, which aired on Thursday, Will was accused of letting a brunette live with him at law school and taking her to law prom. The allegations came after he was accused of cheating on Emmy during both seasons 2 and 3 of the show.
Will claimed that the woman was a friend from law school and Emmy knew she stayed at his apartment when they were on a trip to New York City.
When the cast met up in NYC for the season 3 reunion, which also aired on Thursday, Will was noticeably absent. Emmy told host Andy Cohen that while Will did come to the studio — he was actually backstage during the reunion — his “mental health” couldn’t “take it” so he didn’t come out.
She noted, “I don’t want to diminish his love for me because he can’t be here to say it himself.”

Joe told Us that he was “disappointed in Will’s actions,” because one day prior, he told Joe he planned to film. Joe recalled chatting with Will at a Super Bowl party: “And he goes, ‘Hey, man, I’m definitely going to show up for my girlfriend tomorrow.’”
Joe explained that he “didn’t really care” whether Will showed up to “clear his name,” but he wanted him to “show up for Emmy” since he left her out to dry all season.
“I have a big soft spot for Emmy, and I just think she deserves someone that’s going to stand by her side. It’s that simple,” Joe said. “It’s like if you love someone, you sit right next to them and you protect them and you take care of [them].”
After the reunion wrapped, Joe said he didn’t want to “kick” Will “while he was down,” because someone’s mental health is serious. However, Joe told Us he thinks Will is “regretting it” now.
“He’s the one in law school. He should know better — not showing up is giving guilty,” Joe quipped.
Despite all the drama this season, Emmy has stood by her man. She exclusively told Us in December 2024, “Will has 110 percent been faithful to me.” Emmy also revealed she is hopeful they’ll get engaged by the end of this year.
Joe, meanwhile, told Us his thoughts on Will possibly proposing after their recent ups and downs.
“I think he will [propose], but I don’t think Emmy should say ‘yes’ if he considers her his backup,” Joe confessed. “He needs to have that mindset. Like, ‘I can be Emmy’s backup if she needs me to be her backup.’ That’s what [a] relationship is. It’s not like, ‘Oh, yeah, she’s really good as my backup.’”
Joe gushed, “Emmy’s a star. You’re her backup, but you don’t back her up.”
As for where Joe stands with Will after the reunion, which taped in February, he said he still considers him a “really good friend.”
“All of my frustration … it is out of love. It’s like hard love,” Joe told Us, noting that he has since seen Emmy and Will together, but they haven’t spent time as a group. “I see Emmy, she’s been killing it at work recently. I feel like she’s getting her spark back. And most important for me is for her to get that mojo back that Emmy shared that everyone loves. And I hate to see her cry.”
Gene Hackman’s primary cause of death was due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease — but what does the condition entail?
Hypertensive Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease is a combination of hypertensive heart disease and arteriosclerosis. According to the Cleveland Clinic, hypertensive heart disease is a long-term condition that develops over time in patients who have high blood pressure — which is another name for hypertension. When unmanaged for a long period, it can lead to problems including heart failure and arrhythmias.
Arteriosclerosis occurs when a person’s arteries become thick and stiff compared to the typically flexible and elastic consistency a healthy one, per the Mayo Clinic. The arteries’ walls can harden over time. When the artery walls have a buildup of fats, cholesterol and other substances it results in plaque which can cause the vessels to narrow and block blood flow.
In most patients, a mild case of arteriosclerosis typically does not display symptoms. If the condition is detected early, doctors can typically prevent it from worsening into a heart attack or stroke. However, the disease slowly gets worse over time.
Oscar-winning actor Hackman’s cause of death was revealed on Friday, March 7, in a press conference. In addition to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease was listed as a significant contributing factor to the actor’s death. The medical examiner was not able to confirm if Gene died by a heart attack.
Alzheimer’s disease is the buildup of proteins in the form of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the brain, per the Mayo Clinic. It is one of the most common causes of dementia which affects millions of adults above the age of 65. Symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease include memory loss, trouble concentrating, changes in personality and more. There is no cure for the condition.

Us Weekly confirmed on February 27 that Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in their New Mexico home the day before. Hackman was 95 while Arakawa was 64. After news broke of Hackman and Arakawa’s deaths, the couple were mourned by their loved ones.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy,” Hackman’s daughters, Elizabeth and Leslie, and granddaughter Annie said in a statement to Us at the time. “He was loved and admired by millions around the world for his brilliant acting career, but to us he was always just Dad and Grandpa. We will miss him sorely and are devastated by the loss.”
Shortly after news broke of the pair’s death, an investigation took place. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Arakawa was found lying unconscious next to a space heater and in an alleged “state of decomposition with bloating in her face and mummification in her hands and feet.” Hackman was reportedly found in a separate room with some suspicion that he fell.
The Friday press conference revealed that authorities believe Hackman died on February 18, eight days before his body was discovered. It was also determined that Arakawa’s cause of death was hantavirus pulmonary syndrome; she is believed to have died a week before her husband on February 11. Hackman and Arakawa’s family was informed of the autopsy findings prior to the press conference.
Betsy Arakawa, wife of the late actor Gene Hackman, died of hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, but that is not what killed the couple’s dog, who was found feet away from her body.
In fact, dogs cannot get sick from hantavirus, according to Dr. Erin Phipps, the New Mexico state department veterinarian. While the dog Zinna’s cause of death is still unknown, Phipps fielded a question during the press conference about whether the dog starved.
“I don’t think we know the answer to that, but given the timelines presented, it is a possibility,” she said.
The Australian Kelpie was found in her crate, possibly put there by the couple as she recovered from a recent procedure, according to Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza. Zinna will undergo an autopsy to try and determine a cause of death.
It is believed that Arakawa died on February 11, 15 days before her body was found. Hackman is believed to have died on February 18 of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor, Chief Medical Examiner for New Mexico Dr. Heather Jarrell said at a press conference.
Us Weekly confirmed on February 27 that Hackman and Arakawa were found dead in their Santa Fe home the day before.
“On February 26, 2025, at approximately 1:45 p.m., Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an address on Old Sunset Trail in Hyde Park where Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 64, and a dog were found deceased,” the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement shared with Us. “Foul play is not suspected as a factor in those deaths at this time, however, [the] exact cause of death has not been determined.”
The couple is survived by Hackman’s three adult children, Christopher, 65, Elizabeth, 63, and Leslie, 58, whom he shared with ex-wife Faye Maltese.
Elizabeth initially told TMZ that she suspected her father and stepmother died of carbon monoxide poisoning, but firefighters found no evidence of a leak. After a preliminary search of the property found no apparent cause of death for the couple or their dog, authorities deemed the circumstances “suspicious,” according to an affidavit obtained by TMZ.
“The death of the two deceased individuals to be suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation because the reporting party found the front door of the residence unsecured and opened, deputies observed a healthy dog running loose on the property, another healthy dog near the deceased female, a deceased dog laying 10-15 feet from the deceased female in a closet of the bathroom, the heater being moved, the pill bottle being opened and pills scattered next to the female, the male decedent being located in a separate room of the residence, and no obvious signs of a gas leak,” the report read.
In addition to Zinna, the Hackmans had two other dogs who were found safe. “The Santa Fe County Animal Control Division worked with family to ensure the safety of the two dogs,” a press release from late last month read.

Notre Dame head football coach Marcus Freeman showed off a new bobblehead made in his likeness — which came with impressive attention to detail.
Freeman, 39, posted a picture of the bobblehead via Instagram on Thursday, March 6, calling it “the perfect addition to my office.”
The bobblehead was situated on Freeman’s desk next to mini action figures of Notre Dame women’s basketball stars Olivia Miles and Hannah Hidalgo. Freeman’s figurine sported a green Notre Dame football tracksuit and featured him holding a football with a big smile on his face.
Perhaps most impressive, however, was the accurate representation of Freeman’s infamous hairline.
Freeman’s hair became a hot topic of conversation during Notre Dame’s run to the College Football Playoff National Championship in January. Before the Fighting Irish played Penn State in the Orange Bowl, Penn State head coach James Franklinneedled Freeman during a press conference featuring both coaches.
“It’ll be a great game,” Franklin, 53, told reporters. “We’re really, really excited about competing. I’m looking over here at Marcus. How old are you now, Marcus?”

Franklin, who is bald, responded, “I mean, I look at the hairline on this guy. Envious of his hairline in a lot of ways.”
“He was angry,” Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts told The Athletic after Notre Dame’s 27-24 victory over Penn State. “He was angry with the press conference thing, whatever was going on between that. He was mad about that. All the anger went toward us and that anger went onto the field.”
Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love hinted he was also offended by Franklin’s comments, telling The Athletic, “I’m not gonna speak on their head coach.”
“We felt like their team didn’t really respect us,” Love added. “We wanted to come into this game and make a statement. Be the aggressors. Dominate them physically. That’s the message. Be physical and play violent. The whole game.”
Notre Dame eventually lost 34-23 to The Ohio State University in the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 20.
In December 2024, Freeman signed a four-year extension at Notre Dame, reportedly worth more than $9 million per season.

In a police press conference on Friday, March 7, New Mexico Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Heather Jarrell confirmed that the Oscar winner died due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributing factor. He was 95.
As for his wife, Dr. Jarrell revealed, “The cause of death for Mrs. Hackman is hantavirus pulmonary syndrome. The cause of death is natural.” She was 64.
According to the Mayo Clinic, the rare infectious disease begins with flu-like symptoms, including fatigue, fever and muscle aches. After several days, late symptoms begin to appear, such as coughing and shortness of breath.
The CDC reports that 38 percent of people who develop respiratory symptoms may die from the disease.
Infection is usually caused by inhaling hantaviruses that have become airborne from rodent urine, droppings or saliva. Because treatment options are limited, the Mayo Clinic notes that the best protection is to avoid contact with rodents and safely clean up rodent habitats.
In the United States, hantavirus pulmonary syndrome is most common in rural areas of the West.

While it’s unclear whether any rodents were present in or near Hackman and Arakawa’s New Mexico home, the couple shared three dogs, including a German Shepherd named Bear and a second pup named Nikita. The couple’s third dog, a kelpie mix named Zinna, was found dead in a crate and “was always attached to Betsy at the hip,” according to Santa Fe Tails pet care facility owner Joey Padilla.
Padilla has started caring for Bear and Nikita following their owners’ deaths.
