Andy Reid isn’t buying any of the chatter about the alleged favoritism that the Chiefs have been getting. 

Clare Crawley is apparently reflecting on Matt James nearly appearing on her Bachelorette season.

“Catching up on socal news and smh at some of this stuff,” Crawley, 43, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 29. “Remember that one time I specifically asked producers to please not allow one specific guy on my season because I knew for a fact he was NOT looking for a serious relationship whatsoever.”

She added, “I didn’t want him to waste anyone’s time. So, instead, they made him the next Bachelor.”

After failed stints on Juan Pablo Galavis’ season 18 of The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games, Crawley was tapped as the franchise lead in 2020. The journey — which was initially delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic — was slated to feature James, now 33, as one of her suitors. By the time production kicked off, James was no longer a cast member. He went on to become the first Black Bachelor. (At the time, James was known as franchise favorite Tyler Cameron’s roommate and college friend.)

On James’ season later in 2020, he fell in love with finalist Rachael Kirkconnell. They dated on and off for four years before calling it quits for good earlier this month. According to Kirkconnell, 28, she was blindsided by James’ decision to end their relationship.

“He said that, at the end of the day, there were just qualities about me that he worries about having in a wife,” Kirkconnell claimed on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast episode that dropped on Tuesday, January 28. “At the end of the day, there are things that we aren’t compatible with and the whole accountability and saying sorry and all that was really the main thing.”

She added, “It was just one of those things where he, I think, just had this realization that ‘I should want to propose to you by this time. Like, at this point in our relationship, I should be wanting those things and I should be ready for that. But I’m not still, I still don’t feel like we’re ready or I don’t feel like I’m ready. I don’t know if I ever see myself proposing to you. I can’t actually see myself married to you.’”

James did not propose to Kirkconnell during his season of The Bachelor, instead opting to date. They briefly broke up after past racially insensitive photos of Kirkconnell resurfaced online.

“He felt so much pressure to just make the right decision and to stand by what was right for him at the time,” she recalled on Tuesday. “And, you know, strangers and people that were really close to him in his life were saying, like, ‘I don’t think you should be with her.’ And so I think at the time, he thought that was the right decision, just to take a step back and not be together.”

According to Kirkconnell, she was “definitely shocked” when James broke up with her the first time.

“We were very happy together, even with all of the chaos around us when it was just me and him behind closed doors, it was amazing,” she said. “It was so much fun. We were so happy when we decided to not let the outside noise get to us.”

Years after Kirkconnell and James reconciled, they constantly fired back at pressure to get engaged. During her “Call Her Daddy” appearance, the graphic designer also claimed that James recently asked about engagement ring preferences.

James has not publicly addressed any of Kirkconnell or Crawley’s claims outside of his initial faith-driven breakup statement.

“Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts,” James wrote via Instagram at the time. “Give us a peace [sic] about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord .”

As for Crawley, her Bachelorette season ended within 12 days when she got engaged to Dale Moss. After they broke up, she eventually moved on with now-husband Ryan Dawkins.

More than three decades after they filmed Home Alone, Catherine O’Hara still has a soft spot in her heart for movie son Macaulay Culkin.

“He’s just a lovely young man,” O’Hara, 70, exclusively told Us Weekly of Culkin, 44, while promoting her Michelob ULTRA Super Bowl campaign.

The actress teased that while she played his mother, Kate McCallister, in 1990’s Home Alone, in reality she is like Culkin’s “far off relative.” (Culkin portrayed Kevin McCallister, who after being accidentally left home alone during the holidays is forced to defend his house from a pair of hilariously inept burglars, played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.)

“I just care about him. I care for him. I care about him. I’m so happy that he’s doing so well,” O’Hara gushed.

She teased that not everything has changed since they first worked together — or since the pair reunited for the 1992 sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Over the years, O’Hara and Culkin have crossed paths and remained eternally linked to the Christmas season thanks to the success of Home Alone. So it was no surprise when, in December 2023, O’Hara made an appearance at Culkin’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

When O’Hara spoke at the event, she jokingly referred to herself as Culkin’s “fake mom that left you home alone not once but twice.”

She then sang his praises for his charisma — a character trait that was obvious even when he was a child. “This beautiful 10-year-old little boy was called a superstar, a moneymaker, one of the hottest leading young men in Hollywood,” O’Hara said. “How does anyone survive that? I believe you’d have to possess a certain quality, a gift that dear John Hughes obviously recognized in Macaulay.”

To kick off the new year, O’Hara has taken part in another epic ad campaign, this time for Michelob ULTRA as part of Super Bowl LIX’s commercial lineup. In the commercial, O’Hara joins forces with Willem Dafoe for a game of pickleball against professional pickleballers Jaume Martinez Vich and Emily Cederquist.

The actors play coy about their own skills in hopes of winning ice-cold glasses of Michelob ULTRA. They proceed to “out-hustle” everyone on the court in the ad, which was released on Tuesday, January 28.

“I got the script and really laughed reading it. Just the very idea made me laugh,” O’Hara told Us of why she signed on for the commercial. “Then hearing that Willam was doing it. I’d worked with him very briefly on Beetlejuice Beetlejuice but didn’t really get to hang out with him much. And it was as lovely as I hoped it would be.”

Gretchen Rossi is ready to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County.

A source close to production confirmed to Us Weekly on Wednesday, January 29, that Rossi, 46, will appear as a “friend” of the cast for season 19. (Variety was first to report the news.)

Rossi is expected to join returning Housewives Emily Simpson, Katie Ginella, Jennifer Pedranti, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow and Gina Kirschenheiter when filming begins this week.

Former “friend” of the show Alexis Bellino — like Rossi, a former OC Housewife who returned after many years away — previously confirmed she would not be returning for season 19.

“I was not asked back next season,” she shared on a December 2024 episode of iHeartRadio’s “Going Rogue” podcast. “I can’t say it came as a shock, it did not come as a shock. It was a hard conversation. … I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out — like, I thought we had more time. … [So] it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information.”

Fans met Rossi when she joined RHOC for season 4. At the time, she was engaged to Jeff Beitzel. By the time the season premiered in November 2008, Beitzel had died after a battle with cancer.

Rossi went on to fall in love with original RHOC castmember Slade Smiley. During season 8, which aired in 2013, Rossi proposed with help from a helicopter. She would exit the show soon after.

Although they never got married, the couple recently celebrated their 16th anniversary and have a daughter named Skylar Gray, 5.

Before rejoining RHOC, Rossi developed some bonds with some of the current Housewives. Earlier this month, Ginella, 40, shared a glimpse into her friendship with Rossi.

“When you join the cast, you hear about ex cast members, but I really just wanted to give what I get,” Ginella exclusively told Us at a Let’s Help LA fundraiser benefiting Emergency Network LA. “I met Gretchen, and she’s a lovely woman. We’ve become really good friends. Jenn and I hang out with her all the time. I love Gretchen.”

One person, however, who isn’t close to Rossi is Judge, 57. The two feuded over several seasons with Judge accusing her costar of being a “golddigger” while dating Beitzel. Judge also infamously tried to get Rossi “naked wasted” at a party.

Taylor Swift was not hit in the face while celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win with Travis Kelce on the field, Us Weekly can confirm.

“Taylor was never punched!” a source exclusively tells Us after a video circulated online claiming that Swift, 35, was accidentally knocked in the chin.

According to the clip, a man went up to Kelce, 35, while he had his arms wrapped around Swift following his win against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, January 26. While the footage is unclear, many fans debated the interaction on social media, claiming Swift was punched.

However, the insider says that the clip doesn’t show the “full picture,” telling Us that the unidentified person simply “went in for a hug.”

Whoopi Goldberg interrupted The View on Wednesday, January 29, to share a very special moment with guest Harvey Guillén.

Goldberg, 69, got up from her chair during the panel’s interview with Guillén, 34, to share a hug while discussing male loneliness and self-belief.

The View’s moderator was clearly thrilled to have the What We Do in the Shadows alum joining the table as she revealed she’s a superfan of his work.

“I jumped him when I met him the first time,” Goldberg remembered. “I loved his show, which is called What We Do in the Shadows.”

“When I read this script, there was shock value to the way some of these characters talked to their partners,” Guillén recalled. “I never realized how sometimes you see people paired off and you think, ‘You talk to your wife like that? You talk to your husband like that?’ Whether it be the future, which may or may not involve love robots or love partners, or whatnot, how you talk to a human being is very telling of yourself.”

Guillén credited Companion with helping him contextualize the importance of self-love and genuine reflection for men.

“Sometimes people say, well, there’s this epidemic of male loneliness, which is a thing, but also, sometimes the male has to stop and realize, ‘Maybe I need to fix myself.’ How are you going to love someone else if you can’t love yourself?” Guillén argued.

Goldberg pointed out to her View cohosts that she’d made the same point in the past, before stopping the show momentarily to give Guillén a hug.

The View hosts later shifted the discussion towards Guillén’s love life, asking whether he was currently dating anyone.

“No, “ he replied with a chuckle. “I actually was dating someone while I was filming the movie, and Lukas Gage, who plays my partner in the movie, we were both in relationships.”

Guillén continued: “We were talking about our relationships together and we were so in love that we brought that [feeling] to the characters. Now, we’re both single! I was like, ‘You think it was because we saw the red flags when we were filming this?’ And, I think it is!”

Guillén explained to The View’s cohosts that he ended his most recent relationship because his partner “mimicked love” but wasn’t able to actually commit fully.

The gala was the first Hollywood premiere to take place since wildfires devastated the Los Angeles area throughout January.

Guillén is next set to star opposite Eva Longoria and Flamin’ Hot actor Jesse Garcia in the family comedy Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip, which will be released on Disney+ March 28.

The Dallas Cowboys have a brand new head coach in Brian Schottenheimer — but Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith teased he’s waiting in the wings in case things don’t work out. 

Smith, 55, has mostly stayed away from the game of football since retiring as the NFL’s all-time leading rusher — a record he holds to this day — after a legendary career in 2005. But when Smith was asked exclusively by Us Weekly if he’d ever think about coaching, he smiled and said, “At the end of the day, I have considered it.”

“I would consider coaching the University of Florida, Texas A&M and the Dallas Cowboys if the opportunity presented itself,” Smith explained while speaking to Us about his partnership with On Location.

Prior to his 13 seasons with the Cowboys, Smith played three seasons of collegiate football at Florida. Smith’s son, E.J., transferred to Texas A&M in January 2024 after two seasons at Stanford.

Without any previous coaching experience under his belt, however, Smith acknowledged he faces a potentially steep learning curve.

“I do understand that I have to prove to these folks that I know what I’m talking about, that I know what I’m doing,” Smith said. “The way I see it, it’s really all about my staff anyway. It’s about empowering people to take the philosophy that I want to impose upon the team, as well as the organization, to make it great.”

Smith continued, “These are messages that resonate with families. In football, they talk about the word ‘family,’ but very few people understand what that actually means. They talk about the word ‘chemistry’ in the game of football, but very few people understand what that means to the heart of an organization.”

The timing of Smith’s admission is noteworthy, as the Cowboys announced Schottenheimer, 51, as the team’s new head coach on Friday, January 24. Smith said the jury is still out on whether he thinks Schottenheimer is the guy to turn around the franchise, which hasn’t made a conference title game since 1996, the longest drought in the NFL. 

“I’m gonna start off by saying this: you gotta give everybody a chance to prove that they’re great head coaches and capable of leading the team to where it needs to go,” Smith said of Schottenheimer. “However, I have to wait and see the direction that he’s going to take the organization and if he has the ability to take the organization in the direction that I think it should go.”

Smith noted that the Cowboys are currently a shadow of the franchise he helped win Super Bowl titles in 1992, 1993 and 1995. 

“We have gotten so far away from the character of who we are,” Smith argued. “We need to go back to the fundamentals of who we are as an organization. That’s how we’re going to get back to our winning ways. If that doesn’t happen, we’re going to be sorry for a long time.”

Gisele Bündchen shared a glimpse of her growing baby bump as she and boyfriend Joaquim Valente prepare to welcome their first child together.

“Happiness is an inside job,” Bündchen, 44, captioned a post shared via Instagram on Wednesday, January 29. “Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live. .”

News broke in October 2024 that Bündchen and Valente, 37, were expecting their first baby together. (Bündchen is mom to son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, with ex-husband Tom Brady. She is also stepmother to Brady’s 17-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.)

Days after the reveal of her pregnancy, Bündchen showed off her baby bump while enjoying a night out in Miami wearing the quintessential little black dress.

Bündchen was friends with the jiu-jitsu instructor for several years before their relationship turned romantic in summer 2023 — months after she and Brady, 47, called it quits.

“We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Brady wrote via Instagram in 2022, announcing his breakup from Bündchen after more than a decade of marriage. “We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

After Bündchen and Brady split, an insider told Us Weekly that she grew closer with Valente. “Joaquim was there for Gisele through her divorce, as a friend, and they turned romantic this past summer,” a source told Us in February 2024, noting that Valente and Bündchen share “similar lifestyles,” including a commitment to prioritizing their health.

“He wants to see her happy,” the insider said of Brady, noting that the former NFL player and Bündchen have been amicable since their split. “They maintain a coparenting relationship that’s solely focused on their children’s well-being.”

A separate source told Us in October 2024 that Brady was one of the first people to hear about Bündchen’s pregnancy.

Kelly Rizzo is opening up about an emotional experience she shared with her boyfriend Breckin Meyer.

Mars was referencing the persistent rumor that he is in severe gambling debt to MGM, the company that hosts his Vegas residencies. Last year, a report claimed that Mars owed $50 million to the corporation and was continuing to play Vegas shows in order to work off his debts. MGM, however, vehemently denied the rumor.

“We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers,” a spokesperson from MGM Grand said in a statement at the time. “From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno’s brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe.”

The rep continued: “MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM. Together, we are excited to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”

Mars, meanwhile, quipped about the speculation during one of his shows. “Ever since those articles came out about me owing the casino money you stopped picking up my calls,” he joked while speaking into a prop phone in September 2024. “It’s me, baby — I got money.”

One month prior, Mars teased that he didn’t want to outright deny the rumors because he likes the extra cachet it gives him.

“I love the lore that I am a Las Vegas lounge singer in debt to the mob,” he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in June 2024. “I can work with that.”

Mars recently announced a new string of dates at the Park MGM kicking off on May 21 and running through June 2. He also just released “Fat Juicy & Wet,” a raunchy collaboration with rapper Sexxy Red. He currently holds the No. 1 and No. 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga and “APT.” with Blackpink’s Rosé, respectively.

Teen Mom’s Catelynn Lowell says she currently has no communication with her biological daughter Carly, whom she placed for adoption in 2009.

“The last time I saw Carly was, like, two years ago,” Lowell, 32, exclusively shared with Us Weekly before the season premiere of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter on Thursday, January 30. “It’s very hard. At the end of the day, I really just want whatever she wants and whatever that looks like for Carly, that’s all that I want.”

In July 2009, Lowell and her now-husband Tyler Baltierra documented their decision to place their daughter for adoption on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant.

While the couple initially agreed to an “open” adoption with Carly’s adoptive parents — meaning they could receive photos and see their daughter in person once a year — things began to change when Carly, now 17, got older.

“They basically have closed the adoption on us,” Lowell claimed. “That’s hard. I’ve kind of just jumped into this new place with my adoption to where now I’m speaking to lots of adoptees and I am learning what would’ve helped them, what would’ve benefited them. Now I’m doing a lot of education about that and teaching other people about the statistics of adoptees and if you’re going to make this decision ever in your life, be knowledgeable about what you’re making.”

For Lowell — who is also mom to Nova, 10, Vaeda, 5, and Rya, 3 — she chooses to speak up so Carly can one day know just how much she’s loved by her birth parents.

“I want Carly to know that if she’s the one that still wants contact and it’s not happening, I will fight for that til the day I die or until she tells me it’s too hard for me to have contact,” Lowell shared with Us. “But until that day, I want her to know that I am always here and always willing to do whatever I can.”

Another struggle Lowell and Baltierra, 33, are facing is what to share with their younger kids about their older sibling.

According to Lowell, “it’s very hard explaining” the situation because they are still young.

“Nova’s response was, ‘Well, that’s dumb. We should get to see her and talk to her,’” Lowell recalled. “She’s still little, so that is hard. I have a lot of anger about it, but I know underneath that is sadness and hurt.”

Through the ups and downs, Lowell knows she is not alone. The “Cate & Ty: Break It Down” podcast host continues to share her story knowing other families experience something similar. She’s also grateful to have the support of her husband.

“It affects him deeply too,” she said about Baliterra. “I don’t think it strains our relationship. We went through it with each other. … When one of us is really down and struggling, the other one is there to talk and kind of make sense and help each other.”

Hadid, 28, flaunted her toned figure in a sexy red bikini while playing in the icy elements, as seen via Instagram on Wednesday, January 29. Her two-piece hugged her curves with a red triangle hater top featuring gold anchor charms. The supermodel paired the top with cheeky bottoms with gleaming hoop accents and flirty bows.

While Hadid may have been chilly amid the winter wonderland surrounding her, she at least kept her feet warm in cozy brown cowgirl boots embroidered with wings. She further accessorized with a diamond necklace, silver bangles and a knit red scrunchy that held her brunette mane in a tight bun.

The horseback rider was sure to show off her picture-perfect angles, posing from the side, back and even kneeling in the fresh powder.

The Real Housewives of New York City’s Ubah Hassan has a new perspective on her relationship with costar Brynn Whitfield.

“From the start, it felt like Brynn had it out for me,” Ubah, 41, said in a Wednesday, January 29, interview with Glamour. “She’d make little jabs — wrapped in just enough kindness to seem harmless — that would pile on.”

Ubah continued, “It felt like she was determined to create a false narrative about me. Looking back, I see the pattern: She’d push me until I reacted then later come to me in tears, saying how much she loves me, how kind I am, and how much the show needs me.”

Tension between Ubah and Brynn escalated in the season 15 finale during the RHONY cast trip to Puerto Rico. In the episode, Ubah alleged that Brynn slept with someone in order to get cast on the show. In response, Brynn revealed that she had previously been sexually assaulted. While Brynn claimed that Ubah knew about the incident, Ubah alleged that she had no knowledge of the traumatic incident. Brynn later told costar Erin Lichy that she didn’t know if Ubah had “clocked it,” meaning the revelation may not have registered with Ubah at the moment.

In the Wednesday interview, Ubah shared that she has “regret” for suggesting that Bynn “slept with someone to get this job.”

“The context was that it felt like Brynn was pushing all of us to perform, especially me. I said that out of frustration,” Ubah explained. “I told her that I got this job because of who I am — I don’t have to fake storylines or create drama. Brynn didn’t give me this job. She’s not a producer. And even the producers don’t tell me what to do or say.”

She continued, “I regret saying these words. But here’s the thing: I would’ve said them to anyone if they behaved the way she did. It wasn’t because Brynn is a sexual being or that I was trying to hurt her heart. I would’ve said this to any of them if they were pushing me to perform as much as she did. She would accuse us of ‘taking money out of her purse’ because we weren’t meeting her standards, and I got tired of it. It was a heated moment that came after months of pressure to be something I’m not.”

Brynn has since defended the idea that she told Ubah about her sexual assault. “It’s not right to assume that everyone remembers everything that you say all the time and then hold them accountable for that,” Brynn said in an interview with Rolling Stone. “I know for a fact that I said it, but when someone’s screaming into the phone, the other person might not necessarily hear them.”

Brynn called it “shocking” to hear her costars accuse her of lying. “You’re telling me that in the three minutes from when I’m called horrible names [by Ubah] and I’m obviously upset that I somehow devised a plan?” she said. “It’s disgusting that I’m talking about two things that I would hope that no woman or person would have to experience — suicide and sexual assault — and everyone’s like, ‘Brynn, we feel taken advantage of.’ Maybe don’t use those words to describe the situation. I just feel like I wasn’t shown much [respect].”
