Rami Malek and partner Emma Corrin intentionally keep their romance relatively private, but it appears that they are still going strong.

“That person [is] fascinating,” Malek, 43, gushed to The Guardian in a profile published on Saturday, January 18, when asked about dating Corrin, 29.

According to the outlet, Malek declined to offer details about their romance besides referring to The Crown alum as “Em” or “My Person.” The reporter then described Corrin — who uses they/them pronouns — as smart and quirky, to which Malek concurred.

“We like quirky,” Malek quipped and while flashing a reported half-smile.

Malek and Corrin were first romantically linked in July 2023 when they were spotted together at Bruce Springsteen’s concert in London. The following September, the pair were seen kissing on another date in the British capital city.

Prior to his romance with Corrin, Malek dated Bohemian Rhapsody costar Lucy Boynton for nearly five years. He’s also gotten candid about his future romantic hopes.

“I’m in my mid-30s going through these, kind of, existential questions about who I am and what I’m doing here and if I’m supposed to be fulfilling some type of destiny,” Malek said during an October 2016 interview with TheWrap. “[I’m questioning] the work I’m doing or should I be a family man by now?”

He added, “I saw this guy [in Buster’s Mal Heart] who had a family and had this idea of what it was to love that family and give them everything, but also wanted a sense of freedom. … The question arose if those two things can coexist in equilibrium. You’re a baby queer!’ It was amazing. We actually didn’t end up seeing each other again, but she really gave me the lowdown.”

They continued, “I’m working out all this complex gender and sexuality stuff. And yet, I’m seeing a guy? That feels very juxtaposed, even if I’m very happy.””

Rami Malek claimed that he was once suspected of an alleged crime because authorities allegedly believed he “fit the description.”

“I got thrown on the bonnet of an [Los Angeles Police Department] cop car because someone had robbed a liquor store and stolen a woman’s bag,” the Oscar winner, 43, alleged in a Guardian profile published on Saturday, January 18. “They said the [thief] was of Latin descent and, ‘You fit the description.’”

He added, “I remember how hot that engine was, they must have been racing over there and it was almost burning my hands. My friend, who was Caucasian, was clever enough to go, ‘Actually, sir, he’s Egyptian. Not Latin.’ I remember laughing on the cop car, thinking, ‘OK, this is a very precarious situation. I may well be going to jail for something I’ve not done.’”

Malek is Egyptian-American, whose parents immigrated from Cairo before he was born. In the Guardian profile, Malek did not offer further details about the alleged police incident or when it seemingly occurred. The LAPD has not spoken out about the reported encounter. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Malek, meanwhile, has allegedly faced similar incidents of mistaken identity due to his background.

“It’s difficult enough traveling. Don’t make it harder,” he told the British outlet. “I started to think, ‘What is happening?’ every time I tried to enter a country. These days, there might be a moment. Then they’ll go, ‘Nah, that’s the guy from Bohemian Rhapsody. Let him through.’”

Malek, who won an Oscar for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody as Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, grew up in L.A. with his parents and twin brother Sami. Their Middle Eastern heritage was always apparent to the siblings.

“I don’t know how you ever get over that. I’m what’s called ‘white-passing,’ but I have very distinctive features, and we definitely didn’t fit in,” Malek recalled to The Guardian. “We just had an uncanny way of sensing people. … I don’t know if it’s a blessing or a curse. “The school system in Los Angeles was not great. She would handwrite these long letters in blue fountain pen explaining our situation. She’d say, ‘I’m going to give my kids every opportunity possible,’” Malek said. “I would hear stories about her being pregnant with my brother and me, and taking three buses — three different buses — to get to work and back.”

Diddy, who previously went by the nickname Puff Diddy and later P. Diddy, was indicted by a grand jury in September 2024 shortly before he was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. A 14-page indictment — which cited Diddy’s infamous parties, nicknamed “Freak-Offs” — claimed that Diddy “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades.

Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Justin Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman fired back at Blake Lively’s response to the director’s $400 million lawsuit.

“After my clients filed a comprehensive lawsuit packed with almost 200 pages of undeniable facts and documentary evidence which crushed their false allegations of a smear campaign by providing doctored communications to The New York Times, Blake and her legal team have just one heinous pivot left, and that is to double down on the revoltingly false sexual allegations against Mr. Baldoni,” Freedman told Deadline in a Saturday, January 18, statement.

Baldoni, 40, sued Lively, 37, earlier this week, seeking $400 million in damages. In the filing obtained by Us, Baldoni’s legal team claimed that Lively was “determined to make Baldoni the real-life villain in her story” to conceal her alleged “tone-deaf” promotion of their film It Ends With Us.

Baldoni directed and starred in the 2024 adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel about an abusive relationship. Lively portrayed protagonist Lily Bloom on screen and also served as an executive producer. Baldoni played Lily’s husband, Ryle Kincaid.

The publicists named in the suit also issued a statement.

“It is devastating that we are forced to answer this viciously selfish ongoing litigation littered with documented and provable lies in the midst of the tragedy impacting California where we reside,” the statement shared with Us reads. “Five months ago Ms. Lively chose to promote a film about domestic violence in a way that caused instant negative and organic backlash due to her own highly publicized actions. Instead of accepting responsibility, she decided to cruelly blame us. This malicious attack on private individuals by Ms. Lively and her team in which they chose to spoon-feed The New York Times with doctored, out of context and edited text messages in an effort to paint herself as a victim set off a chain of events that has been harmful beyond measure.”

The message continued, “To be clear, Ms. Lively and her team initiated this smear campaign in the media for the sole intention of gaining undeserved public sympathy for her own missteps. Over the last month we have received death threats, abhorrent abuse and vile anti-semitic slurs hurled at us due to her decision to use us as scapegoats for her own choices promoting her film in which she made millions of dollars. With this filing, we lift our own curtain of what happens when the entitled weaponize power, fear and money to destroy, intimidate and bully those who get in their way.”

Baldoni, meanwhile, has been staying focused on his family in light of the situation.

“We’re grateful to be with the family, man,” he told photographers at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, January 17. “We have amazing friends and family and faith.”

While the tight end performed a celebration dance with his teammates, Swift, 35, was spotted jumping up and down from her perch in a private suite. In social media footage, the pop star hugged WNBA phenom Caitlin Clark before giving Kelce’s dad, Ed, a handshake.

Swift showed up to KC’s Arrowhead Stadium dressed in head-to-toe Chanel, arriving alongside her parents, Scott and Andrea, and younger brother, Austin. The rest of the Swift family wore Chiefs-branded gear as they sat with Kelce’s family and 22-year-old Clark in the box.

I stepped into the pocket and was able to get enough on it to get into the end zone. That was a big play in the game.”

According to Mahomes, he “gave it everything [he] got” to throw the ball across the field to Kelce.

Mahomes further gushed about Kelce’s impressive receptions during the Saturday matchup, referring to the Man of the Year nominee as a “big-time player.”

“I think Ellie was going for the face as well, but she got a body,” Jason mentioned. “I don’t really know how [Kylie] got Bennie to draw anything. I’ve never gotten Bennie to draw something.”

Today meteorologist Dylan Dreyer was surprised to find out that colleague Hoda Kotb planned to leave the acclaimed morning show.

“I was in Nashville ’cause I had just covered the People’s Choice Country Music Awards [in September 2024]. She calls me at 6:55. I’m like, ‘Why is Hoda calling me? I hope everything’s OK,’” Dreyer, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, January 17, ahead of her participation in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. “She whispers into her phone, ‘Just want you to know the announcement’s coming out today. I’m leaving the Today Show.’”

Dreyer continued, “And I was like, ‘Wait, what?’ It was such a tightly kept secret. I don’t know if anybody knew ’cause I called Al [Roker] and he said he found out that morning before the show, and Craig [Melvin] found out that morning before the show. It was shocking, but I would say not surprising because once you found out why she was doing it, it was like, ‘Oh, yeah, that makes so much sense.’”

Kotb, 60, confirmed in September 2024 that she planned to leave Today after three decades on the air. She initially joined the TV network in 2007, later becoming an anchor in 2018 alongside Savannah Guthrie.

“We’ve all worked together for so long now that nothing feels different,” Dreyer said on Friday of the new Today lineup. “Everybody’s got different titles and stuff, but nothing really feels different because it makes sense for Craig to take over that role — and he’s like a brother to me.”

She added, “It’s just one big happy family and everything’s kind of getting rearranged a little bit, but the other morning I did send Savannah a text message. I’m like, ‘Savannah, I just wanna say kudos to you’ because she’s had to give so much lately.”

According to Dreyer, Guthrie, 53, had to watch “the goodbyes to Hoda” before the crew started to “build Craig up for this new role.”

“I just wanted to say, ‘Kudos to you for having to step back and give everyone their flowers for so long,’” Dreyer noted. “I think she handled it with such grace and it’s nice to give, give, give, but it’s also nice to receive. So I’m like, ‘I hope you realize how integral you are when it comes to the Today show.’”

While Dreyer is also an integral member of the NBC News family, she’s briefly trading the broadcasting studio for the fairway. She will compete in the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions golf game in Orlando, Florida, later in January against other celebrities.

“[Golf] opens up so many doors for you. It’s, like, the fact that, at some point in my life, I learned to play golf just good enough to get invited to these things has opened up a whole new world,” Dreyer quipped to Us. “There’s so much fun, the people you meet and that you’re hanging out with; it’s like a pinch-me moment. It’s all your favorite sports stars [and] the celebrities that you watch on TV. It’s, like, you’re in a place where you’re cool enough to be with them. It’s just so much fun.”

The Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions takes place at Orlando’s Lake Nona Golf & Country Club from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2.

The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t letting their No. 1 seed ranking in the AFC get to their heads — even with a possible back-to-back-to-back Super Bowl win on the line.

“I haven’t heard anybody talk about anything ‘three-peat’ [or] anything like that,” tight end Travis Kelce, one of the team’s playoff captains, said in a preview for his upcoming ESPN interview with Chris Berman. “We’re focused on the Houston Texans right now.”

The Chiefs, who are ranked No. 1 in the AFC conference, battle the Texans in a Saturday, January 18, divisional playoff game. The winner advances to the conference championship against either the Buffalo Bills or the Baltimore Ravens. Of course, the AFC champ will secure a place in the Super Bowl against the NFC’s own titleholder.

“Anybody can get beat in the playoffs if you don’t come in with the right mentality and the right mindset dating back to training camp and throughout the season,” Kelce, 35, explained ahead of Saturday’s football game. “We have such a veteran team. We have so many leaders in so many different ways. Guys step up and guys just understand the task at hand.”

If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl next month, they will become the first NFL team to win the championship three times in a row. Kelce, in particular, was signed with the Missouri team when they earned the Lombardi trophy in 2020, 2023 and 2024, respectively. (The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 and 2023, and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.)

The 2024 big game was especially special for Kelce. In addition to winning the trophy, he was able to celebrate the moment with a sideline kiss from girlfriend Taylor Swift, whom he started dating in 2023. The pop star, 35, has since become a staple at his football games and is expected to make an appearance on Saturday.

“You know it, baby,” Kelce teased her attendance during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show earlier this week. “You know it’s playoff football, man. … I’m feeling fired up. I’m ‘feeling 22’ [like Swift’s song] all over again, baby. Let’s go!”

Days later, Kelce gushed about his “very strong relationship” with Swift and having her game day support. (She often rocks up to KC’s Arrowhead Stadium decked out in team gear and colors, in addition to custom jewelry honoring Kelce’s 87 jersey number.)

“Me and Taylor are happy and I couldn’t be happier to have that confidence and that comfort off the field and all the support I could ever ask for in the stadium,” Kelce said on the Wednesday, January 15, episode of the Stephen A. Smith Show. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the games and cheering for me, so I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”
